- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, It's Amy with Intuitive Coaching with Amy Radio. And
- 0:04Speaker 1: this is your sacred space for intuitive coaching, spiritual wisdom
- 0:09Speaker 1: and practical strategies to help you create clarity, confidence and
- 0:14Speaker 1: alignment and all aspects of your life. All right, let's
- 0:18Speaker 1: talk about risk. So I've been in this big manifestation
- 0:27Speaker 1: since April, and as I was going through, and I
- 0:32Speaker 1: took myself basically through my whole my intuitive coaching practice
- 0:38Speaker 1: that I do with clients. I had never taken myself through.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It took a long time because I had to pause
- 0:44Speaker 1: a lot so I could get back into spirit. But
- 0:48Speaker 1: I did do it. I did my whole process, the
- 0:52Speaker 1: thing I would do if you were in a three
- 0:54Speaker 1: month or one year program with me. And one of
- 0:58Speaker 1: the messages that came up was that I had to
- 1:02Speaker 1: seriously consider risk and how to assess risk. And so
- 1:09Speaker 1: I recently did a deep dive on risk. Interestingly, say
- 1:14Speaker 1: you get on YouTube and you search risk. Most of
- 1:18Speaker 1: the wisdom is coming from the investment community. They don't
- 1:21Speaker 1: talk about risk just in general, right, And so I
- 1:25Speaker 1: did quite a bit of research on it. I built
- 1:27Speaker 1: some affirmations for myself and then of course I was
- 1:30Speaker 1: like I got to do a podcasts on how to
- 1:32Speaker 1: assess risk and trust your intuition. Every meaningful change requires
- 1:42Speaker 1: a degree of risk. But when you combine practical awareness
- 1:48Speaker 1: with spiritual trust, you can move forward with confidence. Oprah
- 1:55Speaker 1: once said, the biggest adventure you can take is the life.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Is to live the life of your dreams. Every dream.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Every dream requires you step into the unknown. The unknown
- 2:10Speaker 1: always carries risk. Louise hay Todd life supports me in
- 2:18Speaker 1: every way. That is the essence of trusting your intuition.
- 2:23Speaker 1: When you face risk, you are never stepping forward alone.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You are always supported by the heavens, and you always
- 2:32Speaker 1: have your intuition. So, after I did all of this
- 2:37Speaker 1: research on risk, my final thesis on how to assess
- 2:42Speaker 1: risk was general trust my intuition. And I've watched all
- 2:50Speaker 1: sorts of things leaders talk about risk. Of course, I
- 2:53Speaker 1: watched the investment community talk about risk. But at the
- 2:57Speaker 1: end of the day, the way you assess risk is
- 3:02Speaker 1: your own intuition. I'm going to add a layer to
- 3:06Speaker 1: this and knowing your values, and I'll say this if
- 3:13Speaker 1: you if you grew up in a emotionally or physically
- 3:20Speaker 1: neglectful household, it can be difficult to assess risk because
- 3:28Speaker 1: you kind of have to learn your own values, right.
- 3:31Speaker 1: So but once you do that work and really know
- 3:33Speaker 1: what matters to you. Also, my spirit GUIDs are jumping in.
- 3:37Speaker 1: If you had a parent who who you know, wasn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: the best, maybe they had some type of mental illness, narcissism, abusive,
- 3:51Speaker 1: emotionally neglectful, whatever it is. You have to take the
- 3:57Speaker 1: time to really learn about who you are so you
- 4:03Speaker 1: know what is a good risk for you now as
- 4:08Speaker 1: a psychic, as a person who talks to people about
- 4:14Speaker 1: their life, and many people are taking risk. I have
- 4:20Speaker 1: found that there are some people who think they take
- 4:25Speaker 1: risk well, when in actuality they're just kind of doing
- 4:30Speaker 1: what feels safe and so and when I say safe
- 4:36Speaker 1: like comfort zone and safe like I want you to
- 4:38Speaker 1: be safe and protected no matter what, that's not the conversation.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So you got to really spend some time with this,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you know. After I did this whole deep dive around
- 4:48Speaker 1: what risk means to me, I even talked to chat
- 4:52Speaker 1: GPT for a bit about like risk and when it
- 4:56Speaker 1: came up with I'll say this, if you're having a
- 4:59Speaker 1: conversation with chat g about something like this, it'll just
- 5:02Speaker 1: start to loop you around, bless it's heart, and so
- 5:07Speaker 1: you gotta but that that looping around my spirit guys
- 5:10Speaker 1: they're like, hey, that's intentional, because ultimately it can't be
- 5:14Speaker 1: this computer system that teaches you what risk means to you.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You've got to figure it out for yourself. So assessing
- 5:25Speaker 1: risk begins with clarity. Ask yourself, what are you hoping
- 5:30Speaker 1: to gain? What could you potentially lose? And this one again,
- 5:36Speaker 1: if you you know, depending on your upbringing, you may
- 5:40Speaker 1: feel like this guy is always falling, So you know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: really walk yourself through that question. That's why I said,
- 5:47Speaker 1: when I took myself through my process, my intunitive coaching process,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I had to stop and I had to recognize when
- 5:56Speaker 1: my ego was talking versus my soul. And so when
- 6:01Speaker 1: you look at this question of what could I potentially lose,
- 6:05Speaker 1: talk to your soul, talk to your spirit guides, ask
- 6:10Speaker 1: for a sign. If you're struggling with this question, write
- 6:14Speaker 1: it down and then revisit it in two days and
- 6:18Speaker 1: do everything in your power to kick that ego subconscious
- 6:25Speaker 1: self out of the way so you can receive clear
- 6:28Speaker 1: guidance from within. And then ask yourself what resources or
- 6:33Speaker 1: support systems do you already have in place? And again,
- 6:39Speaker 1: if you're a person who group in those environments and
- 6:45Speaker 1: now you have some codependent tendencies, there can be this
- 6:48Speaker 1: belief that you have to do everything on your own.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So again that question can be difficult to answer when
- 6:53Speaker 1: you're looking at support systems. And so, one more time,
- 6:58Speaker 1: the way I get it was you have have to
- 7:00Speaker 1: Really we're not tiptoeing, but we're also not engaging the subconscious,
- 7:06Speaker 1: the wounded subconscious, and the ego. So you ask the question,
- 7:13Speaker 1: you pause, you tune in, you pay attention, ask yourself
- 7:21Speaker 1: as if it feels like truth, if it feels if
- 7:25Speaker 1: it feels frantic and crazy and wacky and something you've
- 7:31Speaker 1: already heard over and over and over again, it's probably
- 7:35Speaker 1: your subconscious mind on a negative loop. Right, So again,
- 7:41Speaker 1: take your time with these questions. What are you hoping
- 7:44Speaker 1: to gain? What could you potentially lose? What resources or
- 7:50Speaker 1: support systems you already have in place? Michael Binard Beckwith
- 7:57Speaker 1: often says pain pushes until vision pulls. Many times, the
- 8:03Speaker 1: risk is simply moving from what is familiar to what
- 8:07Speaker 1: is possible. It feels risky because it's unfamiliar. But if
- 8:13Speaker 1: your vision is strong, the risk becomes the bridge to
- 8:18Speaker 1: transformation intuition in the process. So this is where your
- 8:27Speaker 1: intuition comes in. Think of your intuition as your inner compass,
- 8:32Speaker 1: your inner wisdom system, a database or a phone line
- 8:38Speaker 1: to the heavens. And it's not bound by logic alone.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It's reading energy possibilities. It's looking for alignment. So Abraham
- 8:52Speaker 1: Hicks reminds us, when we feel guidance, you know it
- 8:56Speaker 1: by the way you feel into Wish speaks through a
- 9:01Speaker 1: sense of relief, a sense of peace, a sense of lightness,
- 9:06Speaker 1: a sense of excitement. Fear, by contrast, feels heavy, constricting, forced,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and you can't just say, oh, well, I'm feeling fear.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So this must mean this isn't a good risk because
- 9:22Speaker 1: there are a multitude of reasons why we feel fear.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm not taking away the fact that, yeah, fear could
- 9:29Speaker 1: be a psychic piece of emotional an emotional clue. But
- 9:36Speaker 1: spirit has so many other ways to come through that
- 9:39Speaker 1: it's not going to use fear unless it's I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 1: my star guides are saying it's rare. That's what they said.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's rare, and it has to be a really some
- 9:55Speaker 1: way a way in which we're really not listening. And
- 10:00Speaker 1: those they're saying again, it's rare, very few they're showing
- 10:04Speaker 1: me like point percentage point do they come through fear
- 10:10Speaker 1: to guide us? So even that piece of wisdom, thank
- 10:13Speaker 1: you spirit guides, is so comforting because how many times
- 10:17Speaker 1: have we been like, oh, well this must mean something.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Now what I will say the way I've started to
- 10:23Speaker 1: assess when I'm feeling really nervous or if I'm in fear. One,
- 10:32Speaker 1: it could be a flashback to a past experience. Two.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And we talk about flashbacks and we think, oh, so
- 10:42Speaker 1: that must be No, we all have fl We have flashbacks, right.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It doesn't necessarily mean it was the end of the
- 10:49Speaker 1: world situation or we were in combat, but we often
- 10:53Speaker 1: have flashbacks and then something triggers that, and then we
- 10:56Speaker 1: can make up a story that means we shoul proceed.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So what I have been doing is what have been
- 11:04Speaker 1: telling you on this show? I pause, I ask myself,
- 11:10Speaker 1: what's going on here? What am I concerned about? I
- 11:14Speaker 1: listen because if you tune in, you can listen to
- 11:17Speaker 1: the automatic negative thoughts and you can say, oh, are
- 11:20Speaker 1: they are they guiding the course right now? And stop
- 11:28Speaker 1: believing it means something about your future that you're feeling fear.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I think you know, and I say that too often.
- 11:37Speaker 1: If you're feeling any lower emotion, I say, pause, pause,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I would not push through it. I'll tell you that one.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Don't push through it, because there is on the flip side,
- 11:49Speaker 1: there's this belief like, oh, it's just you're you know,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you're just afraid. It's just need something new. Push through it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I have wound up in more shitty contracts doing taking
- 11:59Speaker 1: that perspective that was my mother. You really just push
- 12:02Speaker 1: through it. You're fine, It's okay. Look, it's so good.
- 12:07Speaker 1: People would be so happy to have that aiming. Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 1: my mama had had a very heavy hand with her opinions,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and who cares what everybody else is up to. You
- 12:18Speaker 1: have to really center yourself and trust what you know.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And sometimes the fear around a risk contract, something you're
- 12:28Speaker 1: entering into could be a sign that you need to
- 12:32Speaker 1: take that step back and ask yourself, are my needs
- 12:35Speaker 1: being met in this situation? Do I have all the
- 12:38Speaker 1: right information? Is there something I'm missing? Because sometimes the
- 12:42Speaker 1: situation is right for us and we just don't have
- 12:44Speaker 1: the right information, And so that feeling might be encouraging
- 12:48Speaker 1: us to go and get that right, and then you
- 12:52Speaker 1: can prepare. When you have all the information, you can prepare,
- 12:56Speaker 1: so then the situation is no longer risky. See where
- 13:00Speaker 1: we're going with this risk thing, it's not It's definitely
- 13:04Speaker 1: not what I thought it was. So when you are
- 13:07Speaker 1: faced with risk, and I love a very risky life
- 13:10Speaker 1: to some people in terms of being a you know,
- 13:14Speaker 1: a solo perneur business owner, fully supported by her business
- 13:20Speaker 1: and doing this type of work in this way, people
- 13:24Speaker 1: can say, yeah, that's really really risky. And I think
- 13:29Speaker 1: I felt other people's fear because I'm so sensitive more
- 13:34Speaker 1: than my own, because there's nothing in this world that
- 13:38Speaker 1: feels more right than doing this work. And so I've
- 13:42Speaker 1: had to actually course correct on that one because I
- 13:45Speaker 1: picked up the imprint from other people that I know myself.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I would never do this work if I didn't believe
- 13:51Speaker 1: that this is what it was called to do, So
- 13:53Speaker 1: there's no need for me to feel any type of
- 13:56Speaker 1: weirdness about it. So your face with the risk, you pause,
- 14:04Speaker 1: You ask your intuition, does this choice expand me or
- 14:09Speaker 1: shrink me? And then follow the expansive path, and you
- 14:17Speaker 1: don't need to know where it's going. You don't need
- 14:20Speaker 1: to know where it's going. Is something might feel so
- 14:22Speaker 1: good to you and you think this is the thing,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and you put all your energy and then the blessing
- 14:29Speaker 1: comes in parallel to it. It's not like it comes
- 14:32Speaker 1: in later parallel to it, and it's what you ask for.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It just came in a different way. So focus on
- 14:41Speaker 1: what expands you and trust that spirits on your side.
- 14:48Speaker 1: And you can always just pray. I'm so off book
- 14:51Speaker 1: on this show. I think it's the heat. I'm like,
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm just rebelling against my own systems. You can always
- 14:58Speaker 1: just pray and say, God, if this this is not
- 15:00Speaker 1: meant for me, direct me somewhere else and make it
- 15:03Speaker 1: so clear and make it so comfortable what this other
- 15:05Speaker 1: choice is, I'll do it one. You can always bear
- 15:09Speaker 1: that prayer. Okay. So you got to balance wisdom and trust.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So trusting your intuition does not mean you ignore practical wisdom.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Catherine Ponder said, whatever you can conceive as being possible
- 15:20Speaker 1: for you is possible. Your intuition may invite you to
- 15:24Speaker 1: stretch into what feels possible, but you also ground that
- 15:28Speaker 1: vision with thoughtful, inspired devotion and action. So assess the
- 15:36Speaker 1: risk clearly, then lean into your intuition to guide you
- 15:41Speaker 1: as to how to move and how to do your part.
- 15:46Speaker 1: The combination of clarity and intuition is what transformed risk
- 15:50Speaker 1: into growth. Alright, made it. So let's talk about my
- 15:57Speaker 1: special session. There's no risk in the special session. It's
- 16:01Speaker 1: only love. The special Session is open for September. It's

- 17:51Speaker 1: in the banner. It's going there for September. And I
- 17:56Speaker 1: have not welcomed any new people into this service. So
- 18:00Speaker 1: if you've been listening to this show and you've been
- 18:02Speaker 1: hoping to work with me, I hope you'll consider this option.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listen. Remember that risk is
- 18:10Speaker 1: a gateway to growth. Assess with clarity, trust your intuition,
- 18:16Speaker 1: take steps that expand you go slow. If all your
- 18:20Speaker 1: stuff is being triggered, if it even if you even
- 18:24Speaker 1: think it might be triggered. Go slow. You know, you
- 18:28Speaker 1: can still be very risk tolerant, but you take a
- 18:36Speaker 1: slower approach to it. Get all the information you need.
- 18:41Speaker 1: If something's feeling weird, doesn't mean that the situation is weird.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It means that some part of you needs you need
- 18:49Speaker 1: your attention. I'm what else can I say about risk?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Take the time to know yourself, and then that's how
- 18:58Speaker 1: you really know how you take risk, and you might
- 19:03Speaker 1: you know, obviously professionally and as a result of that financially.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I'm pretty risk tolerant, but when it comes to my
- 19:12Speaker 1: romantic life, no, I'm very risk averse. I don't run in.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But then there are other people who are very risk
- 19:20Speaker 1: tolerant romantically. And when it comes to the environments I'm around,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I'm in or around are like where you live. I'd
- 19:35Speaker 1: rather always comments on the neighborhood I live in, because
- 19:38Speaker 1: that's where you know, after living you know all over.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I like living in certain environments, and so that that's
- 19:47Speaker 1: something I don't I don't risk. So yeah, trust yourself,
- 19:54Speaker 1: trust yourself, trust, trust what you know to be true.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Above all, get all the information you need, and one
- 20:00Speaker 1: more time, it's one hundred percent okay to go slow,
- 20:05Speaker 1: and then there's times where you're like I just know, then, chump, chump,
- 20:09Speaker 1: you are one hundred percent safe. Hi, thank you so
- 20:13Speaker 1: much for listening. I look forward to connecting with you
- 20:15Speaker 1: on the next show. Take care of yourself. Good bye.
