- 0:12Speaker 3: whenever we go to the phone. So we'll see it.
- 0:15Speaker 3: My work be a part of this bold radio experience experiment.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I say it's a bold experiment because we risk it
- 0:23Speaker 3: alienating at least half of our audience by doing it.
- 0:27Speaker 1: It's hello, Yeah, what, questions, comments, criticisms, jokes.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Whatever, whatever you want? Yeah, yeah, just just you know, chat.

- 0:41Speaker 3: feel compelled to do.
- 0:43Speaker 1: No, when you said yeah, Jumbalaya for dinner, Bill, I
- 0:46Speaker 1: thought what you were going to say is the picture
- 0:48Speaker 1: you sent me last night?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Oh the hot toddy?
- 0:51Speaker 1: You had a hot toddy? Is that? Is that Joe's
- 0:54Speaker 1: recipe for hot toddy? No?
- 0:55Speaker 3: I made a simple I made a simpler one than that.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Well, you'd be feeling better if you had Joe's hot.
- 1:01Speaker 3: It made me feel This one made me feel pretty
- 1:04Speaker 3: good because it made me drunk. Ah and I had
- 1:09Speaker 3: it in my wake up Ogden and smell the dog
- 1:13Speaker 3: food mug. You know I was. I was in Ogden
- 1:18Speaker 3: last Saturday, and as I was leaving town, I went
- 1:22Speaker 3: out of town on thirtieth Street to get onto that
- 1:25Speaker 3: and sure you know, you're driving right toward the dog
- 1:27Speaker 3: food plant, and sure enough the air was retolent of kibble.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Hell, yeah, what smells like holem, doesn't it?
- 1:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:35Speaker 4: All right, let's give this a try. Okay, this is.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Brenda, Brenda, good morning.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Hello.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, what now? I don't hear an echo? Brenda?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Can you? I just want to announce there's a store
- 1:48Speaker 1: opening and U.
- 1:52Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:54Speaker 5: North Main Street?
- 1:55Speaker 3: What's the store?
- 1:57Speaker 4: So she can't she can't hear she can't hear me.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I'm in order for her to hear you, I have
- 2:03Speaker 4: to do this.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Bill, Okay, Yeah, And that's the echo, Brenda. What's the
- 2:07Speaker 3: name of the store?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Rifting?
- 2:09Speaker 5: Simply?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Thrifting simply?
- 2:12Speaker 4: Now can you hear her?
- 2:14Speaker 3: No?
- 2:16Speaker 4: No, I'm asking.
- 2:18Speaker 3: This is where we see. This is a bold radio experiment,
- 2:22Speaker 3: so thrifting simply.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Is it like just a secondhand store? Yeah, it is.
- 2:29Speaker 6: It's a second hand store.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Gra that's cool. And it's enlightened, excellent, enlightened.
- 2:35Speaker 4: All right, thank you, all right, thank you? All right, Well,
- 2:39Speaker 4: let's say hell try to continue this with Braiden.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Braiden, Hell, yeah, what, I don't think Braiden can hear us?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Braiden's I don't know.
- 2:52Speaker 1: That we're going to be able to do should.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Be able to hear us?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Braiden.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I think Braiden gave up. Uh, let's try brain and again.
- 3:01Speaker 4: There he is, Braiden.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Are you there? Hello? What's I can hear everyone? Okay,
- 3:06Speaker 3: what's up?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:09Speaker 7: I just wanted to make a comment about the power
- 3:12Speaker 7: station song that you guys played this morning. It reminds
- 3:15Speaker 7: me of the Family Guy Star Wars parody what what part?
- 3:23Speaker 7: But I can't remember which ones that they're making fun of,
- 3:26Speaker 7: but it's when they're trying to take out the power station.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And then they play that song in it.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Yeah, they use that song.
- 3:35Speaker 7: Yes, and every time I hear it, I immediately think
- 3:40Speaker 7: of that.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Okay, okay, thanks to see if we can find it.
- 3:44Speaker 2: All right, I have a great day.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Let's go to ranger. Kate. Hello, Hi Kate, I mean hello.
- 3:53Speaker 5: I can hear you guys.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Okay, okay, good, what's up?
- 3:57Speaker 5: Although I am echoly, but that's okay.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I don't know why anyway.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Wanted to talk about Canada. I'm actually nervous to go
- 4:06Speaker 5: on a national park trip for the first time ever
- 4:09Speaker 5: because I'm afraid he's being treated like crap.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You know what, there was a really great press conference
- 4:15Speaker 1: that Justin Trudeau gave yesterday where heat that Yeah, where
- 4:20Speaker 1: he says, you know what, when when Canadians are booing
- 4:23Speaker 1: the American national anthem at the Hockey Games and stuff.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Know that we're not booing you personally, he.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Said, the American people, we know that, we know it's
- 4:30Speaker 1: not you. So I think you'll I think you'll be okay.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Although I understand that said it's not me, it's.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Him, Kate, I understand that Canadian bears are very upset.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Now, oh great, I'll take extra all right.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I think you'll be okay. Well, let us know how
- 4:51Speaker 1: it is when you get back. Oh okay, okay.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Well we'll know more about how how foreign travel
- 4:59Speaker 4: is doing here soon enough, whether we're welcomed or not. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:04Speaker 4: on the way, Thank you, ranger, Kate. All right, let's
- 5:07Speaker 4: go to Scott.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Hello Scott, Hey guys, and you guys. Ever heard of
- 5:11Speaker 5: a band called The Warnings.
- 5:14Speaker 1: The Warnings.
- 5:15Speaker 5: No, they're like a power rock trio from Monterey, Mexico.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Why should we pay attention to that?
- 5:24Speaker 5: Go listen to the song like choke or more, okay,
- 5:29Speaker 5: and then you'll understand.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Where did you come across them?
- 5:33Speaker 5: I found them on YouTube really little. They did a
- 5:37Speaker 5: cover of Enter Sandman by Metallica that blew up and
- 5:41Speaker 5: has like twenty six million views.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Now The Warning is a Mexican rock band. Yeah, they've
- 5:47Speaker 1: released four albums too. They've been around a while.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Looks like I would play them, but we would get
- 5:53Speaker 4: kicked off YouTube.
- 5:54Speaker 3: So all right, okay, we'll check them out though, thanks so.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Many restrictions, Thank you though. All right, okay, well Hello, yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 4: what I don't know. I don't know how well we're
- 6:03Speaker 4: doing with Hello.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we're going to try it again.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Well, we got Nick on the phone. He wants to
- 6:07Speaker 4: take us to test that we're not moderate enough apparent Okay, okay, Nick,
- 6:11Speaker 4: Now I have to sit and push buttons so that
- 6:13Speaker 4: you can talk back and forth? Though, is the thing?
- 6:17Speaker 3: He Nick?
- 6:19Speaker 4: Nick?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Hie not quiet.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I didn't want to talk about how you guys aren't moderate.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I just wanted to talk.
- 6:26Speaker 2: About being a moderate.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Oh okay, okay, yeah, actually I love that you guys
- 6:31Speaker 6: are moderate. It's nice to listen. Even though a lot
- 6:34Speaker 6: of people blame you guys for me like express the
- 6:37Speaker 6: left and not criticizing the left, I've always appreciated that
- 6:41Speaker 6: you guys do criticize the left, and I kind of
- 6:43Speaker 6: wish people would be more willing to criticize their position
- 6:47Speaker 6: either way.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Well, you know, Sean Hannity's a billionaire and doesn't question anything, So.
- 6:54Speaker 1: We do try to call it out wherever it is.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, there's no doubt.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Problem right now is everybody's having two different.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Conversations m hm and so like like the tariffs, for
- 7:07Speaker 2: an example, the only person I've heard that has criticized
- 7:10Speaker 2: him in a way that would be persuadesive to the right,
- 7:14Speaker 2: it's just Trudeau.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And that's true.
- 7:20Speaker 6: It's just that's what's want.
- 7:23Speaker 3: So it's yeah, it seems as though Donald Trump doesn't
- 7:28Speaker 3: know what they really what tariffs really are.
- 7:31Speaker 4: He doesn't. I don't think he does.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Well, he keeps he keeps saying that the that Mexico
- 7:37Speaker 1: and Canada are going to pay for it. The tariff
- 7:39Speaker 1: is paid. So so when you're reporting goods, it's an
- 7:42Speaker 1: American company that is saying, hey, Mexico, we would like
- 7:44Speaker 1: some of your avocados, and when they are delivered across
- 7:48Speaker 1: the border to the company that has ordered them, that company,
- 7:52Speaker 1: the American company, pays the tariff, doesn't go the other way.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And then that company passes that on to the consumer.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Sure, because they have to keep their margins the same.
- 8:06Speaker 3: That's pretty odd.
- 8:07Speaker 4: That, you know, ninety percent of economists are saying this
- 8:11Speaker 4: is bad, this will be bad.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And it's pretty odd that people just gnob their head
- 8:15Speaker 3: and go, oh yeah, well, taruffs.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They're trying to tank us into a recession so they
- 8:21Speaker 1: can justify the tax cut exactly. That is what that is.
- 8:25Speaker 1: This isn't about fentanyl. Nope, this isn't about immigrants. This
- 8:29Speaker 1: isn't this is all They're eating the dogs, they're eating
- 8:32Speaker 1: the cats. This is all about money. Yes, that is
- 8:35Speaker 1: what this is about.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Hey, Nick, thank you, thank you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It's hard to say that in the right way. Thanks
- 8:42Speaker 2: for letting me listen.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Thank you, You're welcome.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Thank you Nick.
- 8:44Speaker 8: Okay, I thought he was going to try to take
- 8:47Speaker 8: us to task. Oh yeah, is it? The terraffs ed
- 8:51Speaker 8: brass texting and the tariffs will increase the Dodge the
- 8:55Speaker 8: cost of a Dodge ram charger pickup truck by twenty
- 8:57Speaker 8: thousand dollars. There was There was a new reporter yes
- 9:01Speaker 8: on Foday on Fox who went to a car dealership
- 9:04Speaker 8: and said, Okay, tell us about this truck.
- 9:06Speaker 4: How much is it? Eighty thousand dollars, But by the
- 9:09Speaker 4: end of the day it'll be worth I'm going to
- 9:11Speaker 4: be selling it for one hundred thousand because I have to.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Well, that's it. I was going to buy a Dodge
- 9:16Speaker 3: Ram charger and now I'm not.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Well, that's what he said. He said, which means nobody's
- 9:20Speaker 1: going to be buying and that is the most popular
- 9:22Speaker 1: vehicle in America.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I think he said specifically, Bill Alright is not going
- 9:26Speaker 3: to buy this truck from me.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Oh and here's someone asking where do we park for
- 9:32Speaker 4: our flights and bites at the stadium? Yeah, you should
- 9:35Speaker 4: be getting an email allegedly about that.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah you will.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's our event on Saturday that that is sold out.
- 9:43Speaker 1: But if you managed to get tickets, you should be
- 9:46Speaker 1: getting an email.
- 9:47Speaker 3: What the email says about parking is there are fifty
- 9:50Speaker 3: slots allotted for the kegarf University Club, so fine those
- 9:56Speaker 3: if those are full. It further says just parking anywhere
- 10:00Speaker 3: in the lot.
- 10:02Speaker 4: All right, Uh yeah, anyway, no more calls because everyone
- 10:06Speaker 4: could see we're having some trouble. But you know we're
- 10:08Speaker 4: going to be playing Beat Gina coming up here.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Now that's a call and that's all.
- 10:11Speaker 4: That's a phone call, So we will need you for that.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Maybe I could, maybe I could just be quiet during
- 10:18Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 10:19Speaker 1: We have tickets to the Offspring to give away for
- 10:23Speaker 1: Beat Gina. Offspring coming with Jimmy World and Newfound Glory.
- 10:28Speaker 1: This is a win it before you can buy it,
- 10:32Speaker 1: very nice fries.
- 10:33Speaker 4: And it is Starsky and Hutch Trivia. Yeah, just for Gina,
- 10:39Speaker 4: Just for Gina.
- 10:41Speaker 3: So Starsky and Hutch are those guys are both gone?
- 10:46Speaker 6: Right?
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah? Michael David, I think David Soul is dead. But
- 10:52Speaker 4: I think that.
- 10:53Speaker 3: They're both dead. Michael Cole was on the other, the
- 10:56Speaker 3: other one. Paul Michael, Yeah, he's not dead.
- 11:00Speaker 1: David Soul died in twenty twenty four. I think Paul
- 11:03Speaker 1: Michael Blazer is dead.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Let me look at him. That's Frank, you know, Frank.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Frank's busy checking on Pendulute right now.
- 11:10Speaker 3: A mentally popular show that I never watched.
- 11:13Speaker 1: He's uh, he's eighty one, st Oh, it's his wife
- 11:17Speaker 1: that had AIDS, right, Oh, that's right, like from a
- 11:20Speaker 1: blood transfusion when their son was born. Really, why I
- 11:25Speaker 1: remember that?
- 11:25Speaker 3: I don't, That's right, and he became a kind of
- 11:28Speaker 3: a big advocate advocate for AIDS researching.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Why did you never watch Starsky.
- 11:34Speaker 3: And Hudge because I thought it was stupid?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Weren't all show stupid back then?
- 11:39Speaker 4: They were?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah? Pretty much. I didn't watch a lot of TV.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Really, So what three choices?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Okay, so what were the choices? What were some other choices?
- 11:49Speaker 4: You know, was the eighteen one?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I probably didn't watch a lot of TV as in
- 11:54Speaker 3: the eighties because most of the things were just stupid.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Well, Starsky and Hutch was in the seventies, weren't.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that wasn't the eighties. Let's see, So.
- 12:03Speaker 3: What else was on during that time?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Let's see?
- 12:07Speaker 3: You know, I mean, I was busy listening to this
- 12:09Speaker 3: Is Records and getting high nineteen.

- 12:35Speaker 4: Oh, that's nice. I watched that on.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I wouldn't watch that either, because I'd seen it in the.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Theater on CBS. You had sixty minutes.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I would watch that.
- 12:45Speaker 4: I wasn't watching.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Then an eight pm Roda I was watching.

- 13:01Speaker 3: heard that woman say kiss my grits twice and that
- 13:04Speaker 3: was enough for the rest of my life.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Oh and then on Wednesdays you get eight is enough
- 13:11Speaker 1: in Charlie's Angels. And then at ten yeah, Barretta and
- 13:15Speaker 1: Starsky and Hutch.

- 13:32Speaker 4: How did you not watch I didn't.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I didn't watch it either.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Really?
- 13:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:36Speaker 1: What about Good Times?
- 13:38Speaker 4: I did? No Policewoman, No, no, no, although was pretty
- 13:43Speaker 4: hot back then, I didn't watch it though.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Welcome Back Carter. I did Thursday Nights Welcome occasionally.
- 13:50Speaker 3: You know why I watched Welcome Back Carter Carter. I

- 15:10Speaker 4: I watched Quincy. Yeah you didn't watch. Why they haven't
- 15:15Speaker 4: rebooted Quincy yet?
- 15:16Speaker 3: I don't know, sitting in the morgue eating the sandwich.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Because because police procedurals are so popular, you could easily
- 15:24Speaker 4: do Quincy.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Well, but you know those specially you know, the it's
- 15:29Speaker 3: they've taken it beyond Quincy, the ones where they you know,
- 15:33Speaker 3: do the autopsy.
- 15:34Speaker 4: The real ones again, the rewrite. You could easily do
- 15:38Speaker 4: that with Quincy quickly.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I got to do Saturday lineup. Okay, you got the
- 15:41Speaker 1: Bob Newhart Show at eight, I did, Yes, You've got

- 16:19Speaker 4: I watched Fantasy Island.
- 16:20Speaker 1: There's your nineteen seventy eight weekly TV.
- 16:24Speaker 3: And I think of all the shows I think I watched,
- 16:26Speaker 3: if you counted it up, about maybe one tenth of
- 16:29Speaker 3: all of that. Hardly any excuse me.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Bill Bigski was not the Incredible Hulk. He was David Banner,
- 16:37Speaker 1: Lufarigno was it The Hulk God.
- 16:41Speaker 4: And I think The Magician was before that, wasn't it?
- 16:44Speaker 3: And I thought that was his last one, but I'm
- 16:46Speaker 3: not sure. I never watched its.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Mister Eddie's father
