New Canoe Launch Coming to Wiese Park | Green Bay News
Get ready for a major upgrade on the East River—Village of Allouez and Brown County are teaming up to install a brand-new canoe and kayak launch at Wiese Park. Construction kicks off September 9th through the 16th, temporarily closing the East River Trail from Wiese Park’s southern edge to Ten Mile Drive in De Pere. Funded by Brown County and led by the Land and Water Conservation Department, this small but impactful project will give paddlers a dedicated, easy-access spot to hit the water—boosting recreation and community enjoyment along our local riverfront.
