- 0:23Well, happy Veterans Day, everyone.
- 0:26Every one and all.
- 0:28It's a special day in America, Veterans Day.
- 0:33It's a day that we honor those who selflessly have served and in many instances fought to protect our freedoms.
- 0:46Fought to protect things that in America we hold dear.
- 0:52Maybe sometimes in America we we might take them for granted.
- 0:56It's probably easy to easy to do.
- 0:59And I'm not, I'm not being scolding here.
- 1:01I mean, it's something that it's it's easy for us to take these things for granted.
- 1:06Number one, we're we're human, and we get caught up in just the everyday busyness of our lives.
- 1:15And sometimes we don't stop to consider what we have.
- 1:20And because we're not stopping to consider what we have, we tend to take them for granted.
- 1:25And I hope today we're not taking the men and women for granted who are around us, who are in our company, in our midst, who served, have served, maybe are serving, and in some instances have fought, not just served, but fought to defend what we what we love, what we hold near and dear.
- 1:51The early morning hours of November 11th, 1918.
- 1:56Representatives from France, from Britain, and from Germany met in a railroad car at a railroad car in France.
- 2:06And the point of that meeting was to sign an armistice that would end what was called at the time the Great War, what we refer to now as World War I.
- 2:17It was the war to end all wars.
- 2:19Obviously, it didn't.
- 2:21That's what they called it.
- 2:23Did you think they called it that just to appease the masses?
- 2:27I mean, we know those in charge weren't really interested in ending all wars.
- 2:31I mean, war is a cash cow for many.
- 2:33It's a cash cow.
- 2:36We're not going to dive into that today, though.
- 2:38No, we're gonna we're gonna approach today from a day of honor for the the men and the women who have been engaged in wars.
- 2:50Uh and not to honor them because of the leaders of the countries who who sent them into battle, no, but to honor them for their for what they stood for, to honor them for their sacrifice, to honor them for their faith, to honor them for their bravery, for their commitment to not only a country, but their commitment to people that they left behind, their commitment to families, their commitment to France, their commitment to loved ones, children, parents, maybe grandparents, a commitment to what they held near and dear.
- 3:34So we bring honor to them, and originally it was because of World War One.
- 3:41At the time we called it the Great War.
- 3:45So on November 11th, 1918, there in that railroad car in France, an armistice is signed, and a ceasefire goes into effect that day at 11 a.m.
- 3:59It was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
- 4:04Up and down the trenches after four long years of the most horrific fighting the world had had yet known and seen.
- 4:15Up and down the trenches, the guns fell silent.
- 4:19One soldier wrote to his family and said the roar stopped like a motor car hitting a wall.
- 4:26Just one moment it was loud, and the next moment it wasn't.
- 4:30The next moment it ceased at 11 a.m.
- 4:35All of a sudden, the gunfire stopped.
- 4:39Soldiers on both sides climbed out of their earthworks.
- 4:42They they climbed out of their foxholes.
- 4:43They climbed out from behind their shelters and barricades.
- 4:49Some danced.
- 4:53Others cheered, screaming and celebrating in excitement.
- 4:59And still others just humbly wept for joy, wept that it was over, whopt that the fighting was finally through.
- 5:10And some just stood there numbed, not knowing how to respond.
- 5:15The great war had left some nine million soldiers dead.
- 5:19Think about those numbers.
- 5:21Nine million men fighting.
- 5:24Gone, just wiped out in a matter of four years.
- 5:28Talk about a plague.
- 5:42Another 21 million wounded.
- 5:46And not just with a scratch, I mean maimed, a loss of of limb, lives changed, ruined forever, in many instances.
- 5:5821 million.
- 6:08Either dead or wounded.
- 6:12Those numbers are crazy.
- 6:15And for what?
- 6:18Why?
- 6:19What was the purpose?
- 6:20What has been the purpose of war throughout the years?
- 6:26I mean, Homer wrote about it in his epic, The Iliad.
- 6:32And the cause of war was over a woman.
- 6:36Granted, she might have been the most beautiful woman on the on the planet at the time, but that that was the cause of the war there in his epoch.
- 6:45What's the cause of war today?
- 6:48It's probably not a woman, but I mean something equivalent to the minds of many men, and that would be money.
- 6:58It's all about the cash.
- 7:00The money and the women.
- 7:02Take your pick.
- 7:08And no one knows how many millions of civilians died.
- 7:11I mean, there isn't even a count there.
- 7:15I mean, millions of civilians.
- 7:18Casualties of war.
- 7:20Much of Europe lay in ruins, destroyed in rubble, just sitting in in mere barny rubble, just destruction is the word.
- 7:34Pure destruction.
- 7:36Finally, however, with the armistice, all was quiet on the Western Front, as the saying goes.
- 7:44All was quiet on the Western Front.
- 7:47For many years, November 11th has simply been known as Armistice Day to honor those who fought in World War One.
- 7:55However, in 1954, Congress changed the name to Veterans Day to recognize all American veterans.
- 8:03So here we are, every November 11th at 11 a.m.
- 8:08The nation pays tribute to its war dead with the laying of a presidential wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, just outside of Washington, DC.
- 8:22But Veterans Day honors more than the dead.
- 8:26Memorial Day, observed in May is for remembering soldiers who lost their lives in the service of their country.
- 8:33Veterans Day is set aside to honor and thank all who've served in the U.S.
- 8:38Armed Armed Forces, especially and particularly the 23 million and maybe even more now.
- 8:48That the 23 plus million living veterans.
- 10:00A medical unit and Vietnam close, very close to the front line.
- 10:05I guess it would kind of be very similar to a MASH unit if you remember MASH, the TV show MASH and Linalda.
- 10:13CBS that that show ran for years because it hit the heart of a generation.
- 10:22It spoke to the heart of a generation who who many of them were there.
- 10:26They experienced it.
- 10:30Uh so my uh, you know, I've I've I've got loved ones who who fought and served.
- 10:35Uh, I've got a nephew who spent a couple tours in Afghanistan.
- 10:39Very proud of him.
- 10:41Very proud of him.
- 10:43Very, very proud to be the son-in-law to to my father-in-law who who served and and defended our our freedoms.
- 10:54And we know many people, and I know you do.
- 10:58I mean, all of us, we we have some connection with somebody.
- 11:01I've I've got students here that have left Waterbrook and didn't want to go to college, didn't want to go into business, didn't want to go into the trades.
- 11:09They wanted to go into the military in some form.
- 11:14And they are serving either in active duty or in the in the reserves, and I'm proud of them.
- 11:22Very proud of them.
- 11:22And today I I give them honor.
- 11:25It is a beautiful day today.
- 11:28It's a wonderful day to celebrate not only the individuals, but to celebrate the particular attitude that it takes to be one of these individuals.
- 11:42And it does.
- 11:43It takes a particular attitude, a particular type of person who's willing to lay everything down.
- 11:52Jesus said that there isn't, there's not a greater friend than that.
- 11:58There isn't.
- 12:00There's no greater love than someone who would laid down their lives for for a friend.
- 12:05I mean, that's that's pure, true, unadulterated love.
- 12:10And there are other virtues that are required in addition to love, which is the chiefest among the theological virtues.
- 12:19It really takes all three of the theological virtues, faith, hope, love.
- 12:25It takes these things to be willing to lay down your life.
- 12:33Which you when you're in active duty, every single day that opportunity presents itself.
- 12:39You haven't you have an opportunity that day, an active duty to perhaps lay down your life.
- 12:48And people going into that willing to take it because of something that is within them that's deeper than just surface level whatever.
- 13:06It's um it's it's something that moves deep within us, almost like a rushing mighty river that just flows and and washes away everything else.
- 13:20There's something deep.
- 13:22There's something deep that's that's moving.
- 13:25So within so today, not only do we we honor the men and the women uh for their for their sacrifice for their service, but but we honor what's in them.
- 13:39We honor the virtue that that lies deep within them.
- 13:43And I've got to tell you, there is a there's a move today.
- 13:47There is a move across the globe.
- 13:50Talk about a global movement.
- 13:51There is a global movement of pure unadulterated evil that wishes to to wipe wipe out virtues that are in us that that cause us to rise up that would cause us to defend things that we love.
- 14:10Uh, I've got a got a piece here that I really want to get to today.
- 14:15A couple pieces, actually, but one uh came from John Leake a few days ago.
- 14:20John Leek writes courageous discourse on Substack with uh Dr.
- 14:24McCullough.
- 14:27And a few days ago, it might have been last week.
- 14:32He came out with a piece, and he titled it, Are the US and EU governments satanic?
- 14:39And I'm I'm not gonna I'm not gonna get into the uh or I'm not gonna read all of it, but and I encourage you to go to Substack to read it.
- 14:48And if you have not subscribed to Courageous Discourse, I encourage you to do it.
- 14:53It's uh you know, John Leek is a tremendous author.
- 14:56Of course, Dr.
- 14:57McCullough is uh, you know, he's a tremendous doctor and author in his own right.
- 15:04And uh this it's it's a fantastic substack, number one, because there's always good stuff coming out of it.
- 15:10Number two, this one in particular are the US and EU government satanic, and his subtitle is after destroying Russia in 1917 to 1991, you know.
- 15:24So for almost an entire century, after destroying Russia, the quote, one who divides now seems to possess the West.
- 15:35The one who divides, kind of gives you a clue as to who he's talking about when he says are the US and EU government satanic.
- 15:43There is uh there is certainly a global movement to divide, to destroy.
- 15:51And I want to get into this article uh when we when we uh come along to the other side of the break.
- 15:57There's also an interesting in this regard, there's an interesting court decision that came out of the court of appeals uh that pertains to a school district in Ohio and the punishment of students who refuse to use a child's preferred pronoun.
- 16:17Very interesting stuff afoot, my friends.
- 16:20There is a global movement to destroy what is good within us.
- 16:25And uh the question lies here today.
- 16:29The the question is this are we going to we're gonna resist it?
- 16:34Are we going to take up the mantle of what we're honoring today here on Veterans Day?
- 16:42We're honoring something very specific.
- 16:44Not only are we honoring men and women, but we're honoring the virtues that men and women must hold if they are to participate in the greatest sacrifice at all of all.
- 16:56And are those virtues something that we're going to take upon ourselves to fight off and ward off this great evil, that the tide of evil that is that is growing, and if you don't see it, then maybe shut off Netflix.
- 17:18Uh, maybe stop scrolling for a minute and begin paying attention to what's happening around us.
- 17:23Now, I know this audience sees it.
- 17:25If you didn't see it, you wouldn't be listening.
- 17:27This audience uh definitely sees what's happening.
- 17:32So I I think in that regard, I'm preaching to the choir.
- 17:36But I want to get into some of this stuff on the other side of the break.
- 17:40Before we do, I want to remind all of our listeners, listeners to the dean's list, listeners to the network.

- 21:33America Outloud Doc News is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the Allah.
- 21:51Thank you to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for this country, served this country and sacrificed for her, not only for the country, but for the men and women that they love, the people that they love, their families.
- 22:18We honor the ver the virtues that encompass their very lives, the courage, the stick to it, the faith, the hope, the love, the virtues that are necessary for someone to have this type of caliber that's willing to fight evil in the world.
- 22:42Because my friends, there's evil in the world, evil exists, and it takes people with courage, it takes people imbued with faith, hope, and love to be willing to stand and fight the evil that exists to fight against this tide that at times seems to be overwhelming.
- 23:07I mean, what's the point of war?
- 23:10What's the point of it?
- 23:13The point is, my friends, that there's evil in the world, and evil despises humanity.
- 23:21And I'm referring to an entity here, by the way.
- 23:24I'm referring to a spiritual entity that despises humanity, and the Bible explains why.
- 23:32And I, you know, I'm not going to get into the whys here.
- 23:36But the Bible explains it.
- 23:39Maybe I will.
- 23:40Maybe I'll just briefly.
- 23:42There, there's an interesting reference in the in the prophetic book of Ezekiel.
- 23:50If you haven't read Ezekiel, but read it.
- 23:54Open it up and read it.
- 23:57There's a description in there of Lucifer, who we've come to know as Satan.
- 24:04We've come to know him as the devil.
- 24:06And there's this description of him that he was once this beautiful angelic cherub who lived in the presence of God, who stood at the at the altar with with the fiery stones.
- 24:20There's this description.
- 24:23Says that he he lived and uh dwelt on the mountain of God, Mount Zion, as it were.
- 24:31Now it's is it a physical mountain?
- 24:33I think it's more of a spiritual dimension than an actual mountain.
- 24:39But it's interesting.
- 24:44And he's no longer there.
- 24:46He was kicked out.
- 24:47So why does he hate humanity so badly?
- 24:50Well, he hates humanity because if you'll now read the book of Isaiah, you'll discover that it's humanity that has now been invited to the mountain of God.
- 25:00It's humanity that's been invited to the altar where the stones are.
- 25:07I mean, if if you read that the beginning of Isaiah, uh he's in the presence of God, and he is he says, I shouldn't be here.
- 25:17I'm unclean, I'm unworthy.
- 25:20Uh I don't belong here.
- 25:23But an angel takes uh hot fiery coal from the altar with taunts and touches Isaiah's lips with it and says, There, now you're clean.
- 25:33Isaiah was in this place, excuse me, where Lucifer once stood.
- 25:39And there's this invitation, and you you can read about it in the book of Isaiah.
- 25:43We, as humanity, are invited to this place, this realm, as it were, of this spiritual realm.
- 25:54And evil despises that evil once once dwelt there, and it no longer does.
- 26:03Because the vices over overrode any virtue.
- 26:10And one of the chief vices was pride.
- 26:13He he he Lucifer, his heart was full of pride.
- 26:20And that's how the story goes.
- 26:22And uh, to this day, evil despises humanity, and it takes us, those of us with courage, those of us who love the virtues to be willing to stand up against evil.
- 26:37So that's what we're honoring today.
- 26:38When we when we honor the veterans for veterans day, this is this is the heart of it, at least around here.
- 26:46This is the heart of what we're honoring.
- 26:49So I want to dive into to this essay article, uh, what whatever you call it that John Leake put up in Courageous Discourse.
- 26:59It's dated November 5th, so it's last week.
- 27:04It's entitled, Are the U.S.
- 27:06and EU government satanic?
- 27:08And that title right there is I'm like, okay.
- 27:13Uh, you got me.
- 27:14You you had me with the U.S.
- 27:16and the U government satanic.
- 27:18You have me with the title.
- 27:20I'm interested.
- 27:21My interest is peaked.
- 27:24After here, here's the subtitle.
- 27:26After destroying Russia in 1917 to 1991, the quote, one who divides now seems to possess the West.
- 27:36And he'll describe who this the one who divides is.
- 27:40But he he sets it up by telling this story.
- 27:44Uh, he says, as he was releasing his book with with Dr.
- 27:48McCullough, The Courage to Face COVID 19.
- 27:51That's the title of their book.
- 27:54And just before Dr.
- 27:56McCullough was to depart for Washington, D.C.
- 28:00to give his Senate testimony, which is now famous, uh, November 19th, 2020.
- 28:06That's when McCaulay gave his testimony.
- 28:09He describes this conversation that McCullough had with his church pastor, Andrew Forrest.
- 28:16And he says it went this way that um Dr.
- 28:22McCullough was explaining to his pastor how we didn't really understand what was taking place in the world.
- 28:27And he went on to describe how his YouTube videos about early treatment regarding COVID that they were taken down.
- 28:36And he's just perplexed.
- 28:38Well, why would YouTube take down my videos on early treatment and then uh a planned WebEx conference with us with an Australian MP about about potential treatment was hacked?
- 28:56Who would do this?
- 28:58Who would engage in such evil as to remove valuable information that would save the lives of everyday humanity?
- 29:10And then McCullough went on to tell this pastor that his hospital administrators are acting like he was out of line for accepting a U.S.
- 29:18Senator's invitation to testify about the disease.
- 29:24And he said, it's it's as though for the first time in history, our medical system is opposed to caring for the sick.
- 29:32And then he said, What on earth is going on?
- 29:34How can we be opposed to this?
- 29:37How can we uh be opposed to giving medical truth to all of humanity?
- 29:44What's happening here?
- 29:45What have we become?
- 29:48And then his pastor gives an answer here, and this is what you know.
- 29:53Leek is quoting the answer.
- 29:55And uh his pastor said there are times when evil prevails.
- 30:00Over good in a large way.
- 30:02We know from the dark periods of history that this has happened before.
- 30:07And now it's happening again.
- 30:10And he went on to tell McCullough that what you are describing is Satan working in the hearts and minds of people, sowing fear, sowing confusion, sowing anger.
- 30:22And then he he gave him some good advice.
- 30:24He said, All you can do is keep trying to do good until it turns the tide.
- 30:30Stay at it.
- 30:31You stay at it, McCullough.
- 30:33Keep doing good until it turns the tide.
- 30:36He said, when you when you go to the Capitol and you give your Senate speech, your message must be joyous and happy and clear, uncluttered by negative emotions.
- 30:46Don't let this, you know, the fact that YouTube's taking down your videos and your webex conferences are being hacked.
- 30:53Don't let that affect you.
- 30:56You stay true.
- 30:57Don't go negative, stay true.
- 31:00Keep delivering the truth.
- 31:01He said, That way you will let the light of God shine forth in the darkness.
- 31:06And that's what we need now more than ever.
- 31:08We need the light of God to shine forth in the darkness.
- 31:12So while McCullough is telling this story to John Leek, you know, Leek has kind of given us some insight into what he's thinking.
- 31:21And he said, I really I thought Pastor Forrest was being melodramatic here, you know, just you know, trying to play on some drama and you know, for effect.
- 31:33He said, Surely I thought what he was describing was ordinary human fear and stupidity and not the work of a supernatural being, malevolent spirit that we would refer to as Satan.
- 31:45We can't be talking about Satan here.
- 31:47We're just talking about stupidity.
- 31:49That's all we're talking about ordinary human fear.
- 31:54But what does what does Satan feast upon but ordinary human fear?
- 32:01What does he feast upon?
- 32:02But ordinary human stupidity.
- 32:05He feasts upon the negative, he feasts upon the vices.
- 32:11And leak comments that he said since then he's been increasingly drawn to the conclusion that Pastor Forrest was onto something.
- 32:22And he he says that even if even if you know one rejects the idea of the devil as a supernatural spirit that actually does exist.
- 32:34Even if that idea is rejected, a rational and an impartial observer will still marvel and be amazed and impressed at how large masses of humans will suddenly as if all simultaneously infected with a spiritual contagion, participate in an irrational and highly destructive enterprise.
- 32:57Of course, he's refer Bree's referring to the whole COVID-19 debacle, and how everybody bought into it.
- 33:09A majority of humanity bought into it, bought into the masks, bought into the social distancing, bought into the isolation, bought into the fear, bought into the shots, bought into the all of it.
- 33:26Uh as irrational and highly destructive as it was, it was as if there was all of humanity was infected with a spiritual contagion, as John Leake puts it.
- 33:38So he he describes how he's he's researching his new book called Mind Virus America's Irrational Obsessions.
- 33:48The book sounds interesting.
- 33:50I'm looking forward to the read.
- 33:52But he said, as as he was doing research, he began to examine how the devil had been depicted in literature, going back to the Bible, and he describes the the Greek word here for devil is diablos, diabolos, and he says the word simply means the one who divides, the one who divides the English word diabolic comes from this, comes from this one who divides.
- 34:24He says, in addition to tearing apart, the devil's often portrayed as a destroyer, and then he describes uh Mephistopheles from Faust, and this is how he introduces himself.
- 34:39I am the spirit that constantly negates, and rightly so for everyone that comes into being deserves to be destroyed.
- 34:50Interesting, isn't it?
- 34:52Because Jesus said that to the enemy in John 10 10.
- 34:56He said, The enemy comes to do three things.
- 35:00He comes to steal, he comes to kill, and he comes to destroy, as if stealing wasn't enough, as if killing wasn't enough.
- 35:10He wants pure unadulterated destruction.
- 35:14Because according to uh Mephistopheles, everything that comes into being deserves to be destroyed because it came into being by the hand of the creator.
- 35:32It came into being by the hand of God, which of course Satan despises, absolutely despises, and wants all of his creation destroyed, wants his creation done for, wants it kaput.
- 35:49Everything that comes into being deserves to be destroyed, and there is this spiritual this spiritual underpinning here that we don't really pay attention to.
- 36:10We don't really know what's going on because we we're just we're not there, we're not paying attention to it.
- 36:17So I've got a clip that I want to can we pull up the Tucker clip.
- 36:21Cindy played this for me yesterday while we were doing dishes.
- 36:24She said, This is interesting.
- 36:26I want you to hear this.
- 36:27And Tucker goes on, he's in a conversation with Megan Kelly, and he describes this particular experience that he had.
- 36:37And I think it uh it plays into the conversation.
- 36:42So let me let's let's pull that clip up and uh let's let's take a listen here to Tucker's description.
- 36:48You said you think you were attacked by a demon.
- 36:51I have to tell you, like a lot of people mocked as they roll their eyes.
- 36:54I look at like what happened to Charlie, what happened in the wake of Charlie, what happened at the ascension school in Minneapolis, where that man went in there and shot a bunch of little children praying at their church school, and I challenge anyone to tell me there aren't demons among us.
- 37:14Well, I never thought there were.
- 37:15I thought it was I thought the whole thing was like bizarre because, like culturally, I'm just not from a world where people are attacked by demons.
- 37:23And in fact, when it happened the next morning, when I saw the blood on my sheets, I was like, I actually called someone who works for me who's a very sincere lifelong evangelical, and I'm like, have you ever heard of this?
- 37:34Oh yeah, it happens all the time.
- 37:34I was like, what?
- 37:36Not to episcope because it doesn't.
- 37:37Um, it was it was well, yeah.
- 37:41I mean, I I'm not embarrassed at all, and I don't care if I mocked, don't get anything out of making this up.
- 37:47And I'm not making it up.
- 37:49What happened?
- 37:49I was I had this crazy experience where I was in the truck with someone coming back from quail hunting, and I had all of a sudden this we were talking about someone I despise, and all of a sudden I had this crazy empathy for the person, like really intense empathy, like he could understand why this person was doing these horrible things.
- 38:06And I said to the person that tried is a family dispute, right?
- 38:09So I was said to the person, maybe my brother, and I said, I think I know what's happening here.
- 38:15This person feels this way that way this way.
- 38:17My brother goes, How did you know that?
- 38:19I said, I don't know.
- 38:20It just like, and my brother goes, I think like God is like speaking through you or something, and I felt total true empathy for this person.
- 38:28I truly hate.
- 38:33I think that's from God, like there's no way you can.
- 38:35I said, Well, that's kind of wild.
- 38:36So then I get home.
- 38:37We have this huge dinner party, which we always have dinner parties, and I could forget about it.
- 38:42But I'm telling you this because they're twinned, the one leads to the other.
- 38:45I had this profound experience with God, like profound and beautiful and unexpected, and then I go to bed with my wife and four dogs who sleep in the bed.
- 38:54My wife said four children, my dogs are hunting dogs, all five of them wake up like that.
- 38:59Like they, you know, they are we have no home invaders in my house.
- 39:03I wake up at 2:30 in the morning.
- 39:05I check my and I couldn't breathe at all.
- 39:08My throat was closed.
- 39:09It wasn't like I was apnea or was strong as I couldn't breathe.
- 39:12So I get up, I stand in the doorway of our bedroom, and I'm like, Wow, I'm dying.
- 39:16I could feel myself trying to gray out, and then I started walking in the backyard, and then it slowly came back.
- 39:23Like my throat kind of opened up a little bit.
- 39:24I was like really weirded out.
- 39:26I walk back in, and my wife wakes up, she goes, What is going on?
- 39:29I said, I don't know.
- 39:30I I can't breathe, I feel better now.
- 39:32And all of a sudden I have this horrible pain underneath my arms.
- 39:37Uh, like on the side of my chest, like bad.
- 39:39I thought I'd been like ripped with a knife or something.
- 39:42It just was very intense.
- 39:43So I go into the bathroom, I flip on the light, and I have claw marks.
- 39:48You said claw marks.
- 39:51I don't know that that was the clip that I had or originally had, but he goes on to describe that um you know that there was blood.
- 40:00On the sheets.
- 40:02Physical claw marks on his body.
- 40:05And then blood on the sheets.
- 40:07What?
- 40:08Uh, my friends here.
- 40:09What um what do you make of this?
- 40:12You know, Tucker's an episcopalian, and he's like, I don't know any episcopalians that this happens to.
- 40:20Uh, but you know, Mephistopheles said that he's the spirit that constantly negates, and rightly so for everything that comes into being deserves to be destroyed.
- 40:33And this is this is the attitude of the devil throughout literature.
- 40:42This is the attitude.
- 40:45This then also becomes the attitude in Marxism.
- 40:50Marxism wants to destroy every single thing that it touches.
- 40:55And to John Leake's subtitle, after destroying Russia from 1917 to 1991, the one who divides now seems to possess the West.
- 41:07All right, we'll pick this up.
- 41:09Very interesting.
- 41:10We'll pick it up on the other side of this break.
- 41:12You're listening to the dean's list on America out loud talk radio.

- 44:38All right.
- 44:39Diablo means the one who divides.
- 44:44And Diablo, of course, is the Greek word for devil.
- 44:47And interestingly, Jesus said that.
- 44:52He comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
- 44:54It's what he wants to do.
- 44:56He wants to divide, divide up the plunder.
- 45:00Ironically, I don't know that it's ironic, but interestingly.
- 45:04In John chapter 17, when Jesus is praying to the Father, he says, make us one and make them one in us.
- 45:12He's praying for unity.
- 45:14He's praying for unity.
- 45:17Diablo sent to divide, wants to divide.
- 45:20Christ sent to unify, wants to unify.
- 45:25The message is clear.
- 45:28And Marxism wants to wants to divide.
- 45:36Yeah, it does.
- 45:37Absolutely.
- 45:38It does.
- 45:38It wants to divide it.
- 45:40It sets to divide.
- 45:43You know, Karl Marx set to divide the working population with the owners, with the managers, wanted to create this divide within the working class to create chaos, to create turmoil.
- 45:57Doesn't really happen that way in America, because the working class has a good livelihood.
- 46:06And there is an animosity towards the owners and the managers.
- 46:10So the Marxists set out to do it in other ways.
- 46:18They set out to divide us amongst gender.
- 46:22And a very diabolical, as it were, since we're since we're using that word, a diabolical way of doing that, a very divisive way of doing that is to convince boys that they're girls, and vice versa.
- 46:38Hence the division.
- 46:39And not only does it divide between the genders, but then it divides within the family.
- 46:45It completely blows up and explodes the family.
- 46:49Well, here we are in Ohio.
- 46:51Ohio's fourth largest school district is Alan Tangy.
- 46:56I think that's how we're going to pronounce it.
- 46:59O L E N T A N G Y.
- 47:02Alan Tangy, let's call it Tangy.
- 47:04Alan Tangy local school district is the fourth largest in the state.
- 47:10They have a policy that says if somebody is going by a preferred gender, uh, a pronoun, you as another student has to refer to them as their preferred pronoun.
- 47:27Well, the Ninth Circuit ruled just a couple of days ago that a school board in Ohio, this school board in particular, cannot punish students for refusing to use the preferred gender pronoun of other students.
- 47:42In other words, you can't punish students for compelled speech.
- 47:46The decision requires the U.S.
- 47:48district court for the Southern District of Ohio to issue an injunction against the school district that would allow students to refer to uh transgender kids by the pronouns matching their biological sex.
- 48:05So guess what?
- 48:06Johnny, you have to be called he him.
- 48:09No longer he, her, they or some other made-up pronoun.
- 48:13And that's that's the case here in Ohio.
- 48:16A group of parents of students in the district were represented by parents defending education, and they filed a lawsuit against the school district and a motion for a preliminary injunction in 2023 against the district's code of conduct that required preferred pronoun usage.
- 48:37Uh Judge Eric Earl Murphy of the Sixth Circuit.
- 48:41Here's what he wrote.
- 48:43Our society continues to debate whether biological pronouns are appropriate or offensive.
- 48:49In other words, our society continues to be divisive and divided by Marxists who have taken control of the educational reigns.
- 48:59That's what he meant to say.
- 49:01Just I'm back to the judge's quote here.
- 49:04Just as it continues to debate many other issues surrounding transgender rights.
- 49:10The school district may not skew this debate by forcing one side to change the way it conveys its message, or by compelling it to express a different view.
- 49:23He continued, the Supreme Court's case, cases provided a clear answer.
- 49:29A school district may not restrict personal speech on matters of public concern unless the speech would materially and substantially disrupt school activities or infringe the legal rights of others in the school community.
- 49:45So there it is.
- 49:47The pushback against Marxism at the judicial level.
- 49:53This decision was issued by a full panel of all the judges hearing an appeal.
- 50:00Okay, it wasn't just a three judge panel.
- 50:02This was the full on the full panel.
- 50:05I think there were uh 17 judges on the panel.
- 50:1010 judges, including uh the chief judge Jeffrey Sutton, were in the majority here, and then seven judges dissented.
- 50:20Seven judges on this court of appeals said that speech should be compelled.
- 50:26Now that, my friends, is disappointing.
- 50:29This should be a 17 to 0 open shut case.
- 50:34It should have been done in three seconds.
- 50:37You had seven judges on this court of the full panel, the full court of appeals, what they call and bank Latin.
- 50:46Seven of them who dissented, who believed that compelled speech was appropriate.
- 50:53I mean, that's that's a problem.
- 50:55I mean, that lets you know that Marxists have infiltrated the bench.
- 51:03The court's decision doesn't end the case.
- 51:06However, uh, the injunction will be issued uh to be issued will be preliminary.
- 51:14A full oral argument on the merits of the case will have to occur at the district court.
- 51:20Although the injunction means that the policy cannot be enforced in the meantime.
- 51:25All right, so that's what it means.
- 51:27The school district cannot enforce their compelled speech policy while this case is working its way through the through the uh the the court process.
- 51:39The decision was anchored primarily on First Amendment grounds, where the court examined whether the parents would succeed on the merits of the case.
- 51:49Um the uh Judge Murphy continued, he's the judge that I quoted a few minutes ago.
- 51:56He said schools may not ban student speech just because the audience will suffer discomfort and unpleasantness from hearing ideas they dislike.
- 52:09Um parents defending education, who we we love, by the way.
- 52:14Um, I think they've now just changed their name to defending education.
- 52:18I don't think their parents defending education anymore.
- 52:21This might be an old name.
- 52:23Uh Sasha Perry is the vice president.
- 52:28And she said that the Sixth Circuit just ruled that yes, students do not shed their speech rights at the schoolhouse gate.
- 52:37Well, actually.
- 52:40I mean, why doesn't that uphold for uh religious speech rights then?
- 52:46I mean, they do.
- 52:47They do at the schoolhouse gate.
- 52:49They say you don't have the right religiously, you can't pray.
- 52:53Can you?
- 52:54I mean, teachers can't.
- 52:55Oh, so it's just teachers that lose their their right, not the student.
- 53:00Oh, because the teacher is actually acting in the uh in the stead of Congress because they're a government employee.
- 53:09Yeah, I know, go figure.
- 53:11All right.
- 53:11Uh, so she says, okay, they ruled that speech rights uh are not shed at the schoolhouse gate.
- 53:18And no, schools cannot force children to pick a side on gender identity and then speak accordingly.
- 53:25We won today, she said, but more importantly, the First Amendment triumph.
- 53:31Or perhaps more importantly, the one who divides uh was driven out today.
- 53:40Maybe that's not the right way to say it.
- 53:42I don't think the one who divides was driven out because uh the division continues.
- 53:49The division remains strong.
- 53:52It does.
- 53:53It remains strong because the one who divides needs for that division to happen.
- 54:00Can't have unity, cannot have unity, cannot have people uniting around a banner of Americanism.
- 54:08Can't have that.
- 54:09Can't have people uniting around a banner of being American, of being an actual American citizen.
- 54:16What does it mean, by the way, to be American?
- 54:19I mean, we used to we used to herald this.
- 54:23Uh this used to be something that we prided ourselves on.
- 54:28What does it mean to be an American?
- 54:30Um, I don't know, maybe maybe tomorrow we'll we'll spend some time on this thought, what it means to be an American.
- 54:39Oh, the Marxists won't like it.
- 54:41No, the Marxists will not be happy with tomorrow's program.
- 54:44If that is what if that's the direction we're going in, but hey, we're okay with it.
- 54:48We don't mind making them them angry.
- 54:50We'd rather we'd rather drive Marxism out and be united around being Americans.
- 55:00That's what we'd love to see happen.
- 55:02We'd love Marxism to leap.
- 55:03We would love what's happening in New York City to not be happening, but Marxism has a foothold in New York City.
- 55:11And you know, yesterday I had a conversation with Tommy Schultz, and we were, I think maybe we were talking about this off-air that you know, Marxism uh has grappled with uh and taken hold of New York City, and really um, I mean, I might have mentioned this on there.
- 55:30I don't remember now.
- 55:32There's one of two that there's two things that we want to have happen here.
- 55:35Number one, we want um we want Marxism to fail, and we want people to realize the error of their ways and electing Mamdani to take the helm.
- 55:49And they will see the error of their eight ways once they realize that Marxism has failed, and they watch the destruction of the city.
- 55:57We're not happy about the destruction of the city, but it's got to happen, because that's what Marxism does.
- 56:03Hopefully, the eyes of people will be open and they won't vote this way again.
- 56:07Number one.
- 56:08Number two, then we'll need someone to come in and clean up the mess.
- 56:11We'll need an American loving capitalist or a capitalist loving American or uh uh a capitalist American loving human being to come in and clean up the mess.
- 56:26Someone, I mean, maybe we could bring Giuliani out of retirement.
- 56:30That'd be all right, because he'd clean it up.
- 56:32Cleaned it up once, he'll do it a second time.
- 56:35A la Trump did it once, maybe he'll do it again.
- 56:39That's that's what's gonna happen.
- 56:40That's what we we want Marxism driven out.
- 56:43We don't want it a part of of the landscape any longer.
- 56:47The one who divides, we don't want him here.
- 56:52And there is I mean, you you heard Tucker, you heard him describe this situation.
- 56:59Tucker's not an overtly religious man.
- 57:02He's not, you know, he's not what you would call a holy roller.
- 57:07Uh, you know, being slain in the spirit every other day.
- 57:12He's an episcopalian.
- 57:14Not that they're not, you know, religious, but you they tend to not to Tucker's own admission, they tend to not dwell in the spiritual realm.
- 57:23But there's things going on, my friends.
- 57:25There's things happening, and I guess it's important.
- 57:28The moral of the story is that our eyes stay open.
- 57:31All right, my friends, that's all the time we have today.
- 57:34Thank you for joining me.
- 57:34Go to Substack.
- 57:36Subscribe to the history class that's taking place on Substack a couple times a week.
- 57:41It's a good time.
- 57:42All right, encourage your friends and family to get on the dean's list.
- 57:46Let's unite to renovate the age.
