Film "Safe Room" tells story of how strangers become family on October 7
Among the films being shown at the Docutext documentary film festival at the National Library of Israel this week is "Safe Room," which tells the moving account of how a group of strangers transformed into family on October 7th, after finding shelter in the safe room of Dr. Gedalya Fendel of Moshav Shuva. The award-winning director of the documentary, Haley Geffen, spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal ahead of the August 17th screening and Q&A.
