- 0:00Speaker 1: Hanging with the fans betting on a game. No moment's
- 0:10Speaker 1: gonna tell us not be We're here.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Just drinking beer, making baby, I'm hanging with the feels,
- 0:28Speaker 2: busting with the boys.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Bro there, it is.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Good afternoon, ladies, and welcome back to another episode of
- 0:38Speaker 4: Busts from the Boys. We are seeing in a very
- 0:40Speaker 4: unique position right now. We're in Orlando, Florida, of all places.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Just shout a podcast? Can I say this? Just shot
- 0:46Speaker 4: a podcast with spitting chicklets. It's gonna be amazing. Hope
- 0:48Speaker 4: you guys tuned into that. It was a lot of
- 0:50Speaker 4: fun to do with. The boys. Were bounced all over
- 0:52Speaker 4: the place. Guys got a little toasty right before we
- 0:54Speaker 4: came on the pod. It was absolutely outstanding. And it's
- 0:57Speaker 4: Sunday night. What time is it right now, Willie? Eleven
- 1:01Speaker 4: pm on Sunday night, right now? So we just finished
- 1:04Speaker 4: watching the AFC Divisional game Bills versus the Chiefs. Interesting
- 1:09Speaker 4: game to say the least. I think somebody on slips
- 1:11Speaker 4: and fix. I don't remember who the person was, might
- 1:13Speaker 4: have been Chet Savage. He said that this is gonna
- 1:14Speaker 4: be one of those games to go down to the wire.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Last person to have the ball type of game and
- 1:18Speaker 4: this goes well over the under. Sure enough it did, dude,
- 1:21Speaker 4: it was wild. But one thing that was crazy is
- 1:23Speaker 4: Bass's field goal. Yeah, and that ball. If you look
- 1:27Speaker 4: at the uprights and you see the little orange paton
- 1:32Speaker 4: things are the things that kids use in the Olympics.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Those things weren't moving at all, and that ball went
- 1:37Speaker 4: left and it had a hard right.
- 1:40Speaker 3: It's in the script.
- 1:41Speaker 4: It's in the script like the game is rigged.
- 1:44Speaker 3: For Mahomes and the Chiefs. I think we can just
- 1:47Speaker 3: say that. I think that that is pretty much fact.
- 1:50Speaker 4: There's a couple of wild holding calls out there, a
- 1:52Speaker 4: couple of interesting.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Calls that PI.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I know it was, well, that was a PI.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I know. I'm just looking at that stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Maybe because I lost the bet. I had a nice
- 2:03Speaker 3: parley going plus three ninety six.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Do you want to talk about it? Who was in it?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah? I had uh Detroit to cover. I moved the
- 2:10Speaker 3: line down the five and a half. It was sitting
- 2:12Speaker 3: at six. That was the first leg. Second leg was
- 2:16Speaker 3: Kincaid to have over three and a half receptions, and
- 2:19Speaker 3: the third leg was Bill's money line plus three ninety six.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Heartbreak Hotel. Yeah, it was a tough deal, dude. One
- 2:26Speaker 4: of it turns into one of those things where the
- 2:28Speaker 4: Chiefs had one of those seasons where everyone's like, is
- 2:31Speaker 4: this are they dead?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Is it over?
- 2:32Speaker 4: Finally, the lack of talent at wide receiver, the drops,
- 2:36Speaker 4: all that stuff is Travis Kelsey too focused on Taylor
- 2:38Speaker 4: Swift type of deal. And now all of a sudden
- 2:40Speaker 4: we're back in the AFC Championship again, Like how much
- 2:43Speaker 4: long can the world doubt? Patrick Mahomes?
- 2:45Speaker 3: They might do it again?
- 2:46Speaker 4: They really might.
- 2:48Speaker 3: And you look at like, but I'll say this, I
- 2:51Speaker 3: don't know how you beat that Baltimore Raven Ball Club.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yes, Lamar is truly in like Mama mentality right now.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Doesn't give a fuck about anything other than winning the
- 2:58Speaker 4: Super Bowl right now. Yes, the forty nine Ers looked human,
- 3:02Speaker 4: came back obviously get to win when the Packers had
- 3:04Speaker 4: every chance to win that game.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I mean Packers outplayed him for fifty eight out of
- 3:08Speaker 3: the sixty minutes. Yeah, yeah, I mean that that game
- 3:11Speaker 3: was Jordan Love is going to be a superstar.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Yeah, which is wild too because we weren't saying that
- 3:16Speaker 4: in October.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Ok, nobody out there. But it was kind of
- 3:19Speaker 3: like I think I think myself as well. It's like
- 3:21Speaker 3: maybe the Packers like this isn't there, this isn't their guy?
- 3:24Speaker 3: How do you not score? Because they were like the
- 3:26Speaker 3: first they were like the worst first quarter offense in
- 3:29Speaker 3: the league all the way up until obviously they turned
- 3:31Speaker 3: around one on the win Street.
- 3:32Speaker 4: They got hot when you need to get hot. They
- 3:34Speaker 4: did the exact opposite with the Philadelphia Eagles should have done. Yeah,
- 3:38Speaker 4: Eagles bro disappointment. Yeah, they were too much talent to
- 3:41Speaker 4: be haveing going out.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah, they really shit to bed. Yeah, I'll tell you what. Detroit,
- 3:46Speaker 3: who you think is going to be in the super Bowl?
- 3:48Speaker 3: Out of watching these these games?
- 3:51Speaker 4: If you would you looked at just these games and
- 3:53Speaker 4: didn't analyze anything else, you'd be hard pressed not to
- 3:57Speaker 4: say why Detroit went beat the forty nine ers.
- 4:00Speaker 5: But right, and.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Baltimore, Yeah, Baltimore too.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Like to me, the way Baltimore played, it almost looks
- 4:07Speaker 3: like is anybody you almost just you hope whoever the
- 4:10Speaker 3: better the better team is Like if you watch the
- 4:12Speaker 3: Packers Niners and that happened to be the NFC championship game,
- 4:15Speaker 3: you'd almost be bummed that it'd be the Niners going
- 4:18Speaker 3: to play Baltimore because of how well the Packers played
- 4:20Speaker 3: the entire time. Because you want the best high the
- 4:23Speaker 3: best team coming out of the NFC to go get
- 4:25Speaker 3: Baltimore because it looks like Baltimore is just gonna slaughter.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah, not just the best team, but the team that's
- 4:29Speaker 4: hottest right now. That is like really showing up. The
- 4:32Speaker 4: thing that the team that scares me more out of
- 4:35Speaker 4: the two to beat Baltimore from a Baltimore Ravens fan
- 4:37Speaker 4: is the forty nine ers because they have the talent
- 4:39Speaker 4: and they the Ravens mopped the floor.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Of the nine assom so you know the chip's going
- 4:43Speaker 3: to be there.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Two weeks of fuck these guys, two weeks of like, hey,
- 4:46Speaker 4: these dudes, you saw what they did to us. They
- 4:48Speaker 4: think this thing's in the bag, that they're walking away
- 4:50Speaker 4: with super Bowl whatever number it is. Yes, And now
- 4:52Speaker 4: it's like you get the Lions. And obviously Dan Campbell's
- 4:56Speaker 4: a hell of a coach. They had a good roster there,
- 4:58Speaker 4: but it's like you would have a feel the Lions
- 5:00Speaker 4: are more just super excited to finally get the monkey
- 5:02Speaker 4: off their backing being in the super Bowl for the
- 5:05Speaker 4: first time. Is that ever? Is it ever? Because I
- 5:08Speaker 4: know what they're in the NFC Championship in nineteen eighty one,
- 5:11Speaker 4: but I don't know if they went to the super Bowl.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I don't I don't have that kind of history, that
- 5:14Speaker 4: kind of savvy to be able to like, yeah, don't
- 5:15Speaker 4: take my claim.
- 5:16Speaker 3: We're gonna go ahead and say we don't think so.
- 5:18Speaker 4: We'll just say they during the first time Super Bowl
- 5:20Speaker 4: ever where it's like, yo, that's a nut where it's
- 5:23Speaker 4: like that's nuts. Sorry, my watch was like rolling up
- 5:25Speaker 4: the wrist.
- 5:25Speaker 3: No, I know, like, yeah, they got to travel out
- 5:28Speaker 3: to San Fran. You know, Detroit. They've showed up. Like
- 5:31Speaker 3: imagine if this game was detroited in Detroit. Like the
- 5:34Speaker 3: environment that said whatever their stadium is called, is just insane.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It's like they're into every play that happens, every call
- 5:42Speaker 3: that's made, they're cheering, they're either quiet because the other
- 5:44Speaker 3: team makes a play. It'd be it'd be sick if
- 5:48Speaker 3: feels in Detroit, just because I don't feel like San
- 5:50Speaker 3: Fran like they have that kind of same unique environment.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I saw a clip. I don't know what barstool group
- 5:55Speaker 4: it was, but I know as a barstool guys, and
- 5:56Speaker 4: they had this like they're essentially envisioning like the intro
- 6:00Speaker 4: to the Lions if it was in the NFC Championship
- 6:02Speaker 4: and it was like you hear that Eminem the Lose
- 6:07Speaker 4: Yourself song? Yeah, Sole, they starting some guy and a
- 6:09Speaker 4: hoodie comes down. You're like, oh, it's Eminem, and then
- 6:11Speaker 4: all of a sudden it's a kid rock and he goes,
- 6:13Speaker 4: my name is Key, and then bat like the bass
- 6:15Speaker 4: starts playing and there's a duet between him and Eminem.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Holy shit, it would be the most nuts shit ever.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Hey, that'd take you from six to midnight.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Oh, no question, dude rocked up, dude pitching a tent
- 6:27Speaker 4: in the middle of winter.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That's a well thought out little production.
- 6:31Speaker 4: It wasn't mine. I just was the vessel as far
- 6:33Speaker 4: as that message goes.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I wish I know who.
- 6:35Speaker 4: I wish I knew who said that, so I could
- 6:37Speaker 4: like give flowers. But it would be in a nuts
- 6:40Speaker 4: if that fucking happened.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I mean, they're gonna be fired up, and there's no
- 6:44Speaker 3: way that if you're standing up in the team meeting,
- 6:47Speaker 3: you know as this week starts that you're kind of
- 6:48Speaker 3: showing the Niners like they can bleed, like this team
- 6:51Speaker 3: is very beatable.
- 6:52Speaker 4: When you're watching that Bills Chiefs game, what was like
- 6:54Speaker 4: the determining factor to you of like the Chiefs and
- 6:57Speaker 4: the Bills and the reason why the Chiefs won.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of some of those big plays where, well,
- 7:06Speaker 3: number one, you don't get that uh, you don't get
- 7:08Speaker 3: that fourth down conversion when they ran that fake punt
- 7:10Speaker 3: when the Chiefs were like down, when the Chiefs were down,
- 7:12Speaker 3: a guy like you kind of lose on a big
- 7:14Speaker 3: momentum swinger there, like the wind kind of gets taken
- 7:16Speaker 3: out of your sale and then there's a big drop
- 7:19Speaker 3: downfield with Stefon Diggs. But they might have went on
- 7:21Speaker 3: the score that drive. I can't remember.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I can't remember that party of the thing. To me,
- 7:24Speaker 4: that was like very obvious. Andy Ree and his offense
- 7:27Speaker 4: we're trying to utilize, like taking advantage of those linebackers
- 7:30Speaker 4: when they were playing with such a little drag checko.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's insane.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Yeah, the way he was running it kind of like
- 7:37Speaker 4: I don't know if I love it or hate it
- 7:38Speaker 4: the way he runs.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I was kind of using the analogy it looks
- 7:41Speaker 3: like he's running away from Chucky. Yeah, you know, taking
- 7:43Speaker 3: off back to his bed from the back.
- 7:46Speaker 4: You run up the stairs as a kid when you
- 7:47Speaker 4: turn the lights off in the base, when you're trying
- 7:49Speaker 4: to get up as fas as you.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Can, anything a little bit higher because Chuck is over
- 7:52Speaker 3: the ground.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yeah, he legit is always runn high knees at that thing.
- 7:55Speaker 4: He's always like low key warmed off piste off, I know.
- 7:58Speaker 3: But and they just can't kept creating like new levels
- 8:01Speaker 3: against that old line too. And then once you have
- 8:03Speaker 3: the scene, he just gets the momentum going, and then
- 8:06Speaker 3: it just felt like there was nobody like they were
- 8:08Speaker 3: chunk plates, I know.
- 8:10Speaker 4: And you gotta get dude, Like there was a lot
- 8:11Speaker 4: of good offensive line play. I think there was zero
- 8:13Speaker 4: sacks that entire game, which is great, but there was
- 8:15Speaker 4: a drive in the third quarter where the Bills offensive
- 8:18Speaker 4: line took eight minutes off the clock fifteen plays. I
- 8:20Speaker 4: think they ran at ten of them, and it was
- 8:23Speaker 4: like an absolute sieve. Those boys were fucking motoring doing
- 8:26Speaker 4: just putting on a clinic, moving the line of scrimmage
- 8:29Speaker 4: where you're thinking, oh they're fine, like the Bills are
- 8:31Speaker 4: finally about to get over the hump of the Kansas
- 8:33Speaker 4: City Chiefs, and they are doing it in a fashion
- 8:37Speaker 4: where like they're just putting the bow construct around you
- 8:39Speaker 4: and they're gonna end it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Right, and they're doing it their way, like finally gets
- 8:42Speaker 3: the Chiefs where they've been zero and two in the playoffs, right,
- 8:44Speaker 3: I what three and three all time or four and
- 8:46Speaker 3: four all.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Times something like that something.
- 8:48Speaker 3: But I know, dude, I feel so bad for him, dude.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Especially Josh, Like there was no there were no turnovers
- 8:54Speaker 4: the other than the one that was actually ended up
- 8:56Speaker 4: being a touchback where the Chiefs would have gone up
- 8:58Speaker 4: two scores.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, like you well, they were so hungry for the game.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I mean the Chiefs were too, but it's like you
- 9:05Speaker 3: just feel bad. And then for it to in that
- 9:07Speaker 3: way where a bass misses the field goal and it
- 9:10Speaker 3: just moves to the right when there's absolutely zero wind,
- 9:13Speaker 3: It's like it was like it was taking twenty miles
- 9:15Speaker 3: an hour to the right.
- 9:16Speaker 4: When we watched it, I was like the wind had
- 9:18Speaker 4: to be crazy, and then they should have replayed them
- 9:20Speaker 4: little orange things weren't moving.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Right this this is and then look for every reason
- 9:26Speaker 3: we just said, you know, that sitting there winging on
- 9:28Speaker 3: the wing on the kicker as he's sitting on the bench,
- 9:30Speaker 3: like I just pissed away. He at that moment, it's
- 9:33Speaker 3: not it's just one player, one player, anything like that.
- 9:35Speaker 3: But in his brain probably it's like this just absolutely ruined.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I ruined it for the boys.
- 9:40Speaker 4: His brain in the entire city of Buffalo. He needs a.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Polase, no question for this for however long that's gonna yeah, forever,
- 9:48Speaker 3: it was gonna grieve.
- 9:49Speaker 4: They will hate him forever. That just that just sucks.
- 9:52Speaker 4: But you know, like the double doint, there was the
- 9:54Speaker 4: there was a botch snap against Michigan State, Yeah, in
- 9:57Speaker 4: Michigan in twenty fifteen where it's like the kid had
- 9:59Speaker 4: to transfer to Vanderbilt, Like people take their ship so
- 10:03Speaker 4: serious where it's like this guy, this guy legitimately might
- 10:08Speaker 4: be in harm's way this evening, Yeah, which is nuts.
- 10:10Speaker 3: You gotta look out for him. Drama on They.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Pull up the stats in business like, oh, he's perfect too,
- 10:16Speaker 4: blah blah blah. Bus is legit kind of calling it
- 10:18Speaker 4: like that he's gonna this is it, he's gonna watch it,
- 10:20Speaker 4: He's gonna watch it, and sure enough he did or
- 10:23Speaker 4: was it him or the NFL or Goodell?
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, there's something fishy. Watch it. Watch this week. They're
- 10:32Speaker 3: gonna keep him in the game against Baltimore.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Yeah, let's talk about some match real quick.
- 10:36Speaker 3: When they don't reserve. So Garrett just told us, and
- 10:41Speaker 3: we will repeat this for you. The Detroit Lions have
- 10:45Speaker 3: only had one Super Bowl appearance or no Super Bowl appearances,
- 10:48Speaker 3: and they're the only team in the NFC to not
- 10:50Speaker 3: make a Super Bowl.
- 10:51Speaker 4: You know why because they're taking optimum nutrition. Dude, have
- 10:54Speaker 4: you resolved?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Nice?

- 11:26Speaker 4: out there, they might see themselves the victor.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Of that Super Bowl, of that Super Bowl.
- 11:30Speaker 4: What you got there you want to hold that, No,
- 11:32Speaker 4: just gonna put it big down for But yeah, dude,
- 11:34Speaker 4: we're out here in Florida right now and we're doing
- 11:37Speaker 4: a Sandbagger tomorrow. Fun thing about the sandbagger as usually
- 11:39Speaker 4: it's Bus and Wed versus the other power couple playing
- 11:42Speaker 4: against them in a golf tournament type situation. I've played
- 11:46Speaker 4: three holes of golf my entire life. Will, how many
- 11:49Speaker 4: holes of golf you think you played?
- 11:50Speaker 3: I've dabbled. I've dabbled. I know my way around an iron.
- 11:55Speaker 4: He knows his way around an iron. So it's actually
- 11:57Speaker 4: gonna be cool because it'll be a much different bag
- 12:00Speaker 4: we were discussing it before. It'll be like a kind
- 12:02Speaker 4: of a scramble. It's going to be on my team,
- 12:04Speaker 4: busys gonna be on Will's.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Team first time that they split up.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's nice. We're just we're really changing the
- 12:09Speaker 4: course of history with this one game tomorrow in Orlando, Florida.
- 12:12Speaker 3: To thinking about having like just a new segment too,
- 12:14Speaker 3: like sam Begger Scramble.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Sand Begger Scramble, Like we're we're innovators. Yeah, people think
- 12:19Speaker 4: we don't come up with the original ideas, but here
- 12:21Speaker 4: we are doing it right now.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a big deal and we hit their Yeah, yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 3: we hit their pod. When do your guys' pods release
- 12:26Speaker 3: on Tuesday? Tuesday morning, so people hopefully already downloading Canadians welcome.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, we'll good to see you, guys.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Man, subscribe, make sure you subscribe to that podcast. I
- 12:35Speaker 3: know in twenty twenty four, we're trying to get our
- 12:36Speaker 3: listeners to make sure they are subscribed.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Yeah, subscribe, rate five stars, the whole thing, but definitely subscribe.
- 12:41Speaker 4: If you're in Canada right now, I hope you're staying
- 12:43Speaker 4: safe if you haven't watched the show before. To me,
- 12:47Speaker 4: Cana is the most dangerous country. Yeah, of all the countries,
- 12:50Speaker 4: based on statistically how long I've spent in Canada, how
- 12:52Speaker 4: many crime has been committed against me versus how long
- 12:54Speaker 4: I've been in America and the crimes committed against me.
- 12:56Speaker 4: So stay safe out there, boy, especially if you're in
- 12:59Speaker 4: Vancouver right now. Okay, Vancouver, tough area. A lot of
- 13:01Speaker 4: needles is laying around on the ground. Let's clean up
- 13:03Speaker 4: a city, trudeaum my rights. Get that thing going. So anyway, boys,
- 13:07Speaker 4: we're glad to have you. Hope you're enjoying it. We
- 13:10Speaker 4: got Michael Chandler on the podcast today. Mike Chandler, if
- 13:13Speaker 4: you don't know who he is, if you're sitting there
- 13:15Speaker 4: in Ontario and you don't really speak English, that's Quebec, right,
- 13:19Speaker 4: and you don't really speak English and you're wondering who
- 13:21Speaker 4: this Michael Chandler guy is. Michael Chandler is a fighter.
- 13:24Speaker 4: He was in what was the what was it called
- 13:26Speaker 4: before UFC before with the UFC Belator. He was in
- 13:28Speaker 4: Belator before like ran it up, like was I three
- 13:31Speaker 4: time defending belt champion, was like the best of the
- 13:33Speaker 4: best ends up getting the call to the UFC, has
- 13:36Speaker 4: electric fights. This guy truly is a dude that like
- 13:38Speaker 4: has a warrior's mentality when he gets in the octagon,
- 13:41Speaker 4: absolutely destroys people. He's had a couple not go his
- 13:44Speaker 4: way as well. And if you follow UFC Ultimate Fighting
- 13:47Speaker 4: at all, you know who Connor McGregor is. He's notorious.
- 13:50Speaker 4: He's the guy that has taken the UFC and put
- 13:53Speaker 4: him to the next level. As far as star power,
- 13:55Speaker 4: eyes views, the whole thing. Michael Chandler just booked a fight,
- 13:59Speaker 4: but booked to fight with Connor McGregor on June twenty
- 14:01Speaker 4: ninth at UFC two ninety. June twenty ninth is when
- 14:06Speaker 4: the fight is. I'll tell you that international Wait wait
- 14:08Speaker 4: wait it's three hundred no no, no, no, no no. I
- 14:11Speaker 4: think three hundreds like three four weeks. Oh yeah, right,
- 14:15Speaker 4: But this dude, he was one of the first guests.
- 14:16Speaker 3: For sure, it's for sure on June twenty ninth.
- 14:18Speaker 4: For sure on June twenty ninth, and dude, it's gonna
- 14:22Speaker 4: be nuts. Will and I we talked about in the pod,
- 14:24Speaker 4: Like the reason why personally I got into UFC was
- 14:26Speaker 4: I went with a guy named Richie in cognito to
- 14:28Speaker 4: the first McGregor dis fight, didn't know anything about it,
- 14:31Speaker 4: and he was like, go watch this McGregor guy, Go
- 14:33Speaker 4: get into it. And I watched the highlights. I saw
- 14:36Speaker 4: the way he's talking shit, and so legit became a
- 14:38Speaker 4: fan of UFC because of McGregor, now Mike getting to
- 14:42Speaker 4: know him the last three four years, becoming like one
- 14:45Speaker 4: of our boys. You sit there and you're like, I
- 14:46Speaker 4: hope he beats Connor McGregor's ass. I hope it all.
- 14:49Speaker 4: He takes care of business right here. But it's a
- 14:51Speaker 4: very cool thing for Mike, and you're gonna see a
- 14:54Speaker 4: really interesting perspective of his, like the way he you know,
- 14:58Speaker 4: views things, the way he he speaks things in New existence,
- 15:01Speaker 4: the way he goes about his routine. Is a very
- 15:03Speaker 4: disciplined individual. Like he is a dude that if you
- 15:06Speaker 4: are looking to better your life and you want somewhere
- 15:08Speaker 4: to follow, that's the guy to follow.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Right there.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Anything I'm missing, Willie, No.
- 15:12Speaker 3: You even did an incredible chance. Uh yeah. And also
- 15:18Speaker 3: this is the I felt like, you just gotta He's
- 15:23Speaker 3: gonna keep it going. Uh. This is his first This
- 15:27Speaker 3: is his first long form interview since the fight has
- 15:31Speaker 3: been announced too.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, true.
- 15:33Speaker 3: So if the boys got the first sit down with him,
- 15:35Speaker 3: we have fun too, like Mitch, for the love of God,
- 15:37Speaker 3: everybody tuning in that understands that Mitch is on the
- 15:40Speaker 3: hot seat for the twisted Questions.
- 15:44Speaker 4: His job is on the hot seat right now.
- 15:45Speaker 3: You can go ahead and judge this episode because that
- 15:47Speaker 3: one gets it gets disappointing in my eyes. I don't
- 15:50Speaker 3: know if he got disappointing in yours.
- 15:51Speaker 4: No, it was. It's just tough to see him. I
- 15:55Speaker 4: just don't think he puts as much work into it
- 15:57Speaker 4: as he says, he does right, and that's the that's
- 15:58Speaker 4: the upsetting thing.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And he made the same like, don't be an air repeater.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Don't yes, don't be a repeater, dude, Like, don't make
- 16:05Speaker 4: the same mistake over and over again. Definition of insanity.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
- 16:10Speaker 4: And that's Mitch Carsley, dude.
- 16:12Speaker 3: We have a and Chandler partakes in it too, so
- 16:14Speaker 3: that's how you know, like he's he understands, like he's
- 16:17Speaker 3: one of the boys.
- 16:18Speaker 4: The good thing for us is thank God for our brains,
- 16:20Speaker 4: thank God for JP's brand, because we actually end up
- 16:22Speaker 4: sealving like sal salvaging the twisted the twisted question, yes,
- 16:29Speaker 4: because it ended up getting pretty spicy there for a
- 16:31Speaker 4: little bit. But Mitch did have to take some hands
- 16:32Speaker 4: there verbally and after the show a little physically as well.
- 16:35Speaker 4: It was disappointing to see or we think boys, we
- 16:38Speaker 4: sawid I think?
- 16:39Speaker 3: So just HiT's hit some Uh? What else do we have?
- 16:42Speaker 4: First first pod we ever did that changed days. It's

- 19:22Speaker 4: on the Bustle. Let's give a round of a plus
- 19:23Speaker 4: for Michael Chandler.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Let's give a round of a plus iron for the boys.
- 19:28Speaker 4: First question, obviously, big news killing out.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I love it and I think I needed I think
- 19:32Speaker 3: I need to cat me a pair of those too.
- 19:34Speaker 4: You see those things.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Travis Scott's right, Travis Scott's sho's really Scott Iravia Scott's
- 19:39Speaker 3: really doing it out there backwards Nike.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that's hey, I met Travis Scott one time.
- 19:42Speaker 3: No.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I was going to get my surgery at latrosh
- 19:45Speaker 4: in LA. And the elevator door opens up and some
- 19:48Speaker 4: dude walks in, smelling straightly a skunk, glasses on inside,
- 19:53Speaker 4: wearing all black music. Yeah, he's on the speakerphone on
- 19:58Speaker 4: the phone speaker one. He walks out, and I was like, hey, man,
- 20:01Speaker 4: how's your day. He's like, I was all right, Let
- 20:03Speaker 4: I guess he don't want to have a conversation. He
- 20:05Speaker 4: keeps walking and I go to the office and elatrosh
- 20:07Speaker 4: comes in. Neil Ela Tros's best doctor all time. By
- 20:10Speaker 4: the way, He's like, you know who that was nos,
- 20:13Speaker 4: Travis Scott And that was my one time meeting Travis Scott.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Pretty amazing story. Huh did you love that? Yeah? That
- 20:19Speaker 4: was pretty sick.
- 20:20Speaker 6: But so did you ever talk to him or was it?
- 20:22Speaker 4: No, that was the last time I saw him. That
- 20:23Speaker 4: was the last time I ever saw him. But I
- 20:24Speaker 4: like to think I made a depression.
- 20:26Speaker 3: You know, he definitely he's somewhere right now saying that
- 20:30Speaker 3: I'm at the the the host of with the Boys.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Well, you mean oh will no, no, the other one,
- 20:35Speaker 4: the tall one. We obviously, some news came out about
- 20:43Speaker 4: a week ago some gentlemen, some irishman was at dinner
- 20:47Speaker 4: swirling a glass of wine saying that he was going
- 20:52Speaker 4: to fight Michael Chandler and UFC two nine two. Yes,
- 21:00Speaker 4: at three oh two. That man was Connor McGregor. First
- 21:03Speaker 4: question out of time. When Connor McGregor broke his leg,
- 21:06Speaker 4: do you think he called liver King to get supplements?
- 21:09Speaker 5: Possibly? I don't know.
- 21:10Speaker 6: I have to check the call logs.
- 21:12Speaker 4: But yeah, Lewis lewis that.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Little ray Lewis?
- 21:18Speaker 7: Uh?
- 21:18Speaker 5: You know, I don't I don't know, obviously he hopped
- 21:21Speaker 5: out of the u side of testing pool needed to heal,
- 21:25Speaker 5: and uh, he's had an ample amount of time to heal.
- 21:28Speaker 5: Now by the time that we fight June twenty ninth,
- 21:30Speaker 5: it will be three years for him competing.
- 21:33Speaker 3: So when you hop out of the USADA pool, if
- 21:37Speaker 3: for on his end, that's because he was making a movie, right.
- 21:41Speaker 4: No, well, if he was, you can still do a
- 21:43Speaker 4: movie and you hop out.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fair. Can you just hop out of you
- 21:48Speaker 3: side of testing like whenever you wanted.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Yeah, you can, but when you come back, you have
- 21:52Speaker 5: to have six months in the pool. That's so the
- 21:54Speaker 5: rule states. The rule states, I can retire tomorrow. I
- 21:58Speaker 5: can retire tomorrow. Get out. You saw of testing pool
- 22:00Speaker 5: and they're like, okay, cool, you're out. But if you
- 22:03Speaker 5: decide to come back and unretire, you have to be
- 22:05Speaker 5: in the USADA pool for six months.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Can you be not retired? Can you be an active fighter?
- 22:10Speaker 3: And then might jump out of the USADA pool. Uh,
- 22:13Speaker 3: say you get banged up, like I'm already thinking right now,
- 22:15Speaker 3: like if I again, I'm I'm hurt, I'm injured, I'm
- 22:18Speaker 3: immediately next day jumping out of the Usada pool, same thing,
- 22:21Speaker 3: get right as quick as possible. Yeah, however, how like,
- 22:24Speaker 3: however I can get right, push any line I need
- 22:27Speaker 3: to then just be all right, I'm dimming back, you know, fight.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Same thing.
- 22:30Speaker 4: You're using the rules here advantage. Yeah, that is in
- 22:32Speaker 4: the rules. You should do that.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Yeah, whether you whether you say hey, I'm retired, I'm
- 22:35Speaker 5: never fighting again, or you just say hey, I'm taking
- 22:37Speaker 5: a break, if you send that letter, or however that
- 22:41Speaker 5: process is, I haven't gotten out of it. Whatever the
- 22:44Speaker 5: process is. As soon as you're outside of the U
- 22:45Speaker 5: side of testing pool, even for one minute, if you
- 22:48Speaker 5: came back the next minute, you gotta wait six months.
- 22:50Speaker 5: I don't know if there's a certain amount of negative
- 22:52Speaker 5: tests that you have to have. Because they were talking
- 22:53Speaker 5: about negative test blah blah blah. That was Connor's big thing.
- 22:57Speaker 5: You know, forget you saw to whatever they're saying. I
- 22:58Speaker 5: don't need to be in it for six months. Just
- 23:00Speaker 5: too clean tests and I'll be able to come back whenever.
- 23:02Speaker 5: That's back in after the Ultimate Fighter, when we were
- 23:04Speaker 5: talking about fighting in September or sorry, fighting in September
- 23:07Speaker 5: or December.
- 23:08Speaker 6: That was his big thing.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Went on all these different places and basically created a
- 23:12Speaker 5: war between him and Usada that was not true. He
- 23:16Speaker 5: needed to be in it for six months. I spoken
- 23:17Speaker 5: to Jeff Vitzki you talked to because I was talking
- 23:20Speaker 5: to Usada, Jeff Dyvitzki, the UFC brass. Everybody needed to
- 23:23Speaker 5: be in for six months, whether you retire or you
- 23:25Speaker 5: just voluntarily pull yourself out.
- 23:28Speaker 4: And hasn't UFC gotten away from Yusada? Do they not
- 23:30Speaker 4: use them anymore? So?
- 23:31Speaker 5: As of January one, we are now drug free Sport International,
- 23:34Speaker 5: which I believe the NFL uses.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Does that sound right? Okay?
- 23:37Speaker 4: When you say drug free sport before using the last
- 23:39Speaker 4: word international, I'm thinking, Oh, these they don't get tested anymore. Yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 4: Well they're just saying, yeah, we're just not gonna test
- 23:45Speaker 4: these guys value.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Of our yeah drug No.
- 23:48Speaker 5: No, we are.
- 23:49Speaker 6: So we actually have gotten now.
- 23:51Speaker 5: I mean I think this is legal for us to
- 23:53Speaker 5: say we're getting information right where Like we have now
- 23:55Speaker 5: a website where I've gone on and I've done all
- 23:57Speaker 5: my whereabouts.
- 23:58Speaker 6: They know where I'm at, they don't know.
- 24:00Speaker 5: It's not as stringent necessarily as like, hey, i know
- 24:03Speaker 5: I'm from this time to this time, I'm at this
- 24:05Speaker 5: exact date, but hey, here's where I'm at.
- 24:06Speaker 6: I'm in Nashville, Tennessee.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Like if they called me right now, I'd have two
- 24:10Speaker 5: hours to get finished the bus and then go to
- 24:13Speaker 5: my house or wherever they want to meet me, say,
- 24:15Speaker 5: and then they showed us pictures of Hey, this is
- 24:17Speaker 5: what the drug testing kits are gonna look like.
- 24:19Speaker 6: This is what the cups are gonna look like.
- 24:20Speaker 5: This is this is the badge that he or she
- 24:22Speaker 5: whoever shows up with you, whether they have a liaison
- 24:25Speaker 5: with them, because obviously it's a female. I always had
- 24:27Speaker 5: a female with Usada, so she always had a male
- 24:29Speaker 5: chaperone who would watch the stream start, so she didn't.
- 24:32Speaker 6: Watch the stream start.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so she would always have a male chaperone
- 24:36Speaker 5: with her. These are the badges you're looking at. So
- 24:38Speaker 5: it's it's, uh, you know, we're only six eight days
- 24:41Speaker 5: into h or I guess ten days into January.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Now.
- 24:44Speaker 6: I have not been.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Tested under the new regime yet, but yeah, and I
- 24:48Speaker 5: do always have.
- 24:49Speaker 4: It's the same thing as the NFL. Like you have
- 24:51Speaker 4: an app if you're gonna go to Cabo. Yeah, let's
- 24:54Speaker 4: say we go to Calo. You have to put in
- 24:55Speaker 4: the dates he'll be in Cabo and the address he'll
- 24:57Speaker 4: be at Calo and a number to reach you, and
- 24:59Speaker 4: then and they can essentially call you at any point
- 25:01Speaker 4: during that time. We could literally be in Mango deck
- 25:04Speaker 4: watching a push up competition and they say, hey, your
- 25:07Speaker 4: timers started, We're out here. You have three hours.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 4: If you missed that three hour window, there could be repercussions.
- 25:12Speaker 4: I don't know how the severity of how UFC would
- 25:14Speaker 4: take that bat.
- 25:15Speaker 3: So ad you tell us the day before though, like, hey,
- 25:16Speaker 3: I'm coming in tomorrow. Just making sure you're in your
- 25:18Speaker 3: Missouri your place in Missouri.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Now, when you're in the drug program, drug program, like
- 25:22Speaker 4: if you're just being tested normally, but when I was
- 25:24Speaker 4: in the drug program for that thing I had in college,
- 25:27Speaker 4: you are essentially like they can just like we're here,
- 25:30Speaker 4: Oh we are a timer starts now.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 5: So I mean, obviously that's the whole with the way
- 25:36Speaker 5: that everything was was handled, and the headlines and Connor
- 25:40Speaker 5: waging war with you SADA and then USADA breaking up
- 25:43Speaker 5: with UFC and then now New I mean, there's just
- 25:45Speaker 5: this whole fight ever since back in February, whenever I
- 25:49Speaker 5: got the call, Hey, Connor's doing the Ultimate Fighter you
- 25:52Speaker 5: were the other coach. Ever since then, it's just been
- 25:55Speaker 5: constant red tape headlines, extend you circumstances around him coming back,
- 26:02Speaker 5: his comeback, all that different stuff. So for me, it's
- 26:04Speaker 5: just been practicing patients. And now here we are June
- 26:07Speaker 5: twenty nine, they take this dud's head off.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but you there's got to be multiple layers of
- 26:13Speaker 4: like maybe ego patients everything, because you get the you're
- 26:16Speaker 4: doing Ultimate fightervents against McGregor when we first talked, that's
- 26:19Speaker 4: usually you do Ultimate Fighter and then you fight at
- 26:21Speaker 4: the end, So you think this is coming a whole
- 26:23Speaker 4: lot more.
- 26:23Speaker 5: Which I was told by the way they SAI right
- 26:25Speaker 5: after that our plan is right after Boom September or
- 26:28Speaker 5: whatever it is, right Yeah, yeah, but you know.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Because I think at one point there was like talk
- 26:33Speaker 4: about MSG and all that, and you were like, I
- 26:35Speaker 4: really want to fight in Vegas, I really want to
- 26:38Speaker 4: fight in Vegas, and it's kind of just gone over
- 26:39Speaker 4: and over again. Then there's two things, Like one, you're
- 26:42Speaker 4: now in a situation where you like you don't have
- 26:44Speaker 4: the control, so you have to sit there and make
- 26:45Speaker 4: assumptions at all times, because you know those guys that
- 26:48Speaker 4: are high up at the UFC, they're not going to
- 26:50Speaker 4: give you all the information. And there's another layer to
- 26:52Speaker 4: it because Connor is essentially because of how prolific he's been,
- 26:56Speaker 4: because of how much he moves the needle. From a
- 26:58Speaker 4: viewership standpoint, hole is a lot lot of the leverage
- 27:01Speaker 4: and all these situations. So there's now the ego part
- 27:03Speaker 4: of well, you're a hell of a fighter too, and
- 27:06Speaker 4: if you're essentially I have to wait for this guy
- 27:08Speaker 4: to say that he's ready to go, Like, how did
- 27:09Speaker 4: you work through that process?
- 27:10Speaker 5: Here's one very self serving, self confident way that I've
- 27:16Speaker 5: also looked at this. A lot of people could say, Hey,
- 27:18Speaker 5: what's a real fighter?
- 27:19Speaker 3: Right?
- 27:19Speaker 6: Are you a real fighter?
- 27:20Speaker 5: If you fight anybody anywhere, anytime, anywight class. Am I
- 27:24Speaker 5: just some dumb knuckle dragging idiot who goes and fights
- 27:28Speaker 5: as a pugilist in a cage for money? Am I that?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Or?
- 27:30Speaker 5: Am I a guy who now has been out of
- 27:33Speaker 5: fighting for twelve months, but still.
- 27:36Speaker 3: The money's rolling in.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Still, my other businesses are being set up, My other
- 27:40Speaker 5: businesses are making money, my other connections, I'm gonna make
- 27:43Speaker 5: some money this weekend doing a mastermind with another business
- 27:45Speaker 5: coach that I'm doing.
- 27:46Speaker 6: I'm out there making money.
- 27:48Speaker 5: I'm a I am a working business every day of
- 27:52Speaker 5: my life, whether it be through endorsement, sponsorships, appearances, businesses,
- 27:55Speaker 5: all these other things that I'm doing. So people can say, man,
- 27:57Speaker 5: you're an idiot. You waste it all this time. You're
- 28:00Speaker 5: probably begging for a paycheck and blah blah blah. It's like, no,
- 28:02Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I'm not that.
- 28:03Speaker 5: Guy who had to beg and call Dana every other week.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Hey money's getting low.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Hey I got this land loan over here, and hey
- 28:09Speaker 5: I got this mortgage over here. I got numerous mortgages,
- 28:11Speaker 5: I got land loans, I got all these different things
- 28:13Speaker 5: going on. Then I also have these other businesses that
- 28:15Speaker 5: I've set up over the last decade and a half
- 28:17Speaker 5: to be a guy who's not just a pugilist in
- 28:19Speaker 5: fighting in a cage. I'm a guy who is already
- 28:21Speaker 5: set up and I don't need to fight, but I
- 28:23Speaker 5: want to fight. So if I have to prolong it
- 28:25Speaker 5: a little bit longer.
- 28:27Speaker 3: You could afford the patients.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I got afford the patients, and that's you know, Dana said,
- 28:30Speaker 5: that he's like, you know, or Dana Citio.
- 28:32Speaker 6: Chandler is one of those guys.
- 28:33Speaker 5: He's good, he's got he's got money, he's set up.
- 28:35Speaker 5: He's not just a guy who only relies on the paycheck.
- 28:38Speaker 5: And that's where that's where this that's what's where this
- 28:42Speaker 5: narrative of the UFC and fighter pay and all this
- 28:45Speaker 5: kind of stuff comes from, because all these guys who
- 28:48Speaker 5: have been given this huge platform to have all of
- 28:51Speaker 5: these all of this attention and all of these connections
- 28:55Speaker 5: and friendships and opportunities, and they just don't monetize it.
- 28:58Speaker 5: They don't have hold of it and make it the
- 29:02Speaker 5: best that they possibly can, and they just wait for
- 29:03Speaker 5: that next phone call.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Okay, who am I fighting because I need a paycheck?
- 29:06Speaker 5: Right? What do you think?
- 29:08Speaker 3: You think those guys are just the fucking those are
- 29:10Speaker 3: the just the dudes who just live to fight a little.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean to live that or it's you know,
- 29:16Speaker 5: it's it's uh, it's uh effort.
- 29:19Speaker 6: I mean it takes a lot of effort.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Trust me. There are days that I wish I wasn't
- 29:22Speaker 5: such a just hard charging non stop. I mean I've
- 29:26Speaker 5: been I was on three different phone calls this morning
- 29:28Speaker 5: about three different things that have nothing to do with fighting.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Do I wish I would have had just a morning
- 29:32Speaker 5: where it was just me hanging out doing nothing. Yeah?
- 29:35Speaker 5: Maybe sometimes, But ultimately I like what I'm doing.
- 29:38Speaker 3: I like I like.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Having these other businesses and the other these other things
- 29:42Speaker 5: that I'm setting up because ultimately, too, I'm gonna take
- 29:44Speaker 5: those gloves off one time and at some point and say, well,
- 29:47Speaker 5: now what am I doing?
- 29:48Speaker 3: You know, call of duty? Call of duty.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Be on the bus, you know, I'll be freaking doing
- 29:52Speaker 5: some things with the boys, with the boys, you know,
- 29:55Speaker 5: like you know, so it's but it's that's one of
- 29:58Speaker 5: the things you know that we as fighters, man, they
- 30:02Speaker 5: give us a huge platform, and if we don't monetize it,
- 30:04Speaker 5: it ain't their fault, it's our.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Fault, right right. I think that's to say that's similar
- 30:07Speaker 3: with a lot of athletes, like even in our you know,
- 30:09Speaker 3: playing football, it's like if you're not somebody trying to
- 30:12Speaker 3: maximize and optimize all of your like potential avenues. Like
- 30:15Speaker 3: while you have the logo backing you, you're only like
- 30:19Speaker 3: hurting yourself. Because a lot of guys it's kind of
- 30:21Speaker 3: like any free time you have. It's call duty, it's
- 30:24Speaker 3: video games, it's getting banged up, it's you know, enjoying
- 30:27Speaker 3: as much free time as possible, thinking like I'm just
- 30:30Speaker 3: living and pursuing this one profession, which ultimately, like you said,
- 30:34Speaker 3: you take the gloves off, the helmet comes off, and
- 30:36Speaker 3: then it's like what are you going to do next?
- 30:38Speaker 3: And if you didn't spend time being curious and diving
- 30:40Speaker 3: into any of those interests, that's where it kind of
- 30:43Speaker 3: hits you mentally, where it kind of just takes a
- 30:45Speaker 3: toll on you. Sure.
- 30:46Speaker 5: I mean, look at you guys. You guys are are
- 30:48Speaker 5: the perfect epitome of this. I mean years ago you
- 30:52Speaker 5: guys started with that. You guys were sitting on the
- 30:54Speaker 5: floor back here on the bus, that first pod.
- 30:55Speaker 3: You guys did it.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Yeah, right, And there was definitely times as you all
- 30:59Speaker 5: were playing and we're like, dang, dude, like I gotta
- 31:01Speaker 5: go do this when I really should be maybe focusing
- 31:04Speaker 5: only on football, but I'm going to do the bus
- 31:05Speaker 5: or I'm going to do this. And obviously it keeps
- 31:07Speaker 5: getting bigger and bigger and bigger. So it's a life
- 31:09Speaker 5: is a series of trade offs and what is manageable
- 31:12Speaker 5: to you guys compared to manageable to the next player,
- 31:15Speaker 5: or manageable to me compared to the next fighter, it's
- 31:17Speaker 5: all different. And if I'm able, and I have the
- 31:19Speaker 5: bandwidth and I have the ability, the gumption, the foresight
- 31:24Speaker 5: to say, you know what, eventually this is gonna be over,
- 31:26Speaker 5: and I enjoy what I'm doing. I mean, the last year,
- 31:29Speaker 5: I've I've got money coming in outside of just fighting,
- 31:32Speaker 5: and I've enjoyed most of it. There's times where I
- 31:34Speaker 5: kind of grip my teeth. I'm like, Okay, I gotta
- 31:36Speaker 5: do this. But you know, next week I go to
- 31:38Speaker 5: Saint Louis for some hiatus stuff. We're gonna go forty
- 31:40Speaker 5: eight hours straight, just bang bang bang bang bottle signings
- 31:43Speaker 5: and appearances and distribute meetings and that kind of stuff.
- 31:45Speaker 5: And I enjoy that kind of stuff because I like
- 31:47Speaker 5: the business aspect of what I've been given when it
- 31:50Speaker 5: comes to the platform stuff.
- 31:51Speaker 4: So yeah, and utilizing what you've been able to do
- 31:53Speaker 4: in the cage and through social media and all that.
- 31:55Speaker 4: There's a level of when you find out like kind
- 31:58Speaker 4: of you figure as well put on this earth to do.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Like at one point you and I were like football
- 32:03Speaker 4: is what we were meant to do in this world,
- 32:04Speaker 4: fighting for you. It's nice because I was one of
- 32:08Speaker 4: those guys that when I got in the league and
- 32:10Speaker 4: it was like, hey, you can do this internship for free.
- 32:12Speaker 4: It usually costs this much, but blah blah blah, you
- 32:14Speaker 4: can get your graduate degree, you can go do these
- 32:15Speaker 4: certain things. I was like, I'm not doing any of
- 32:17Speaker 4: that shit. I'm focusing on football and that is it.
- 32:20Speaker 4: And I look back on it now thinking to myself, Man,
- 32:23Speaker 4: if I would have took advantage of a couple of
- 32:24Speaker 4: those things, I maybe have more tools now being in
- 32:27Speaker 4: this world. Luckily, I'm in the world where we have
- 32:29Speaker 4: a successful podcast, We're able to travel and do all
- 32:31Speaker 4: these things. You get lucky in a lot of situations.
- 32:33Speaker 4: But it's all utilizing the amount of time that we
- 32:35Speaker 4: all have. We all have the same amount of time.
- 32:37Speaker 4: It's like, how do you structure it in a way
- 32:39Speaker 4: that is the best for you and give you the
- 32:41Speaker 4: most fulfillment. Like sitting on your ass all day playing
- 32:43Speaker 4: call of duty is great, but you let me do
- 32:46Speaker 4: that for a week straight, I'm gonna be wanting to
- 32:48Speaker 4: kill myself. Well, I didn't want to go do something.
- 32:50Speaker 5: People are wired differently too, and it's completely fine for
- 32:52Speaker 5: you to be wired that way, and it is for
- 32:54Speaker 5: you know, it is completely it's completely fine.
- 32:57Speaker 6: For a fighter or a football player to be completely wired.
- 32:59Speaker 5: It says, Hey, when I'm on the field and working,
- 33:01Speaker 5: when I'm off, I'm just hanging out doing whatever. That's
- 33:03Speaker 5: fine for them as long as they do not complain
- 33:06Speaker 5: about their contract because it's not enough money. As long
- 33:08Speaker 5: as they don't complain that they don't got money coming in,
- 33:10Speaker 5: as long as they don't complain whenever they do take
- 33:13Speaker 5: the helmet off and all of a sudden the phone
- 33:14Speaker 5: phone stops ringing and they don't have their next paycheck
- 33:17Speaker 5: coming in. Well, just the bed you made, that's the
- 33:19Speaker 5: couch you sat in, you know, like that's that's.
- 33:22Speaker 6: What you do, right, and that's that's fine.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Is but just you don't have the right to complain
- 33:26Speaker 5: about it, because especially in today's world, think about what
- 33:29Speaker 5: you guys did with some microphones and some cameras and
- 33:31Speaker 5: now this big crew and this big file, and like,
- 33:33Speaker 5: you guys built something out of nothing. And it's not
- 33:38Speaker 5: that it's been hard, but it's it's easy compared to
- 33:41Speaker 5: our parents and our I'm saying.
- 33:50Speaker 3: This podcast.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Get what I'm saying. It's every day, it's so much.
- 33:54Speaker 5: But it's so much easier today to build something than
- 33:57Speaker 5: it used to be, right you guys with the Internet.
- 33:58Speaker 5: I mean there's kids making a million dollars. You're selling
- 34:00Speaker 5: gummy bears on TikTok right now, Like there's it's.
- 34:07Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. So it's almost like there's.
- 34:08Speaker 3: No excuse too.
- 34:09Speaker 5: It's not like, you know, it's not like you think
- 34:12Speaker 5: Mike dickub when back when he was playing was able
- 34:14Speaker 5: to build what he was building or whatever. It's like,
- 34:17Speaker 5: it's so much easier now in all the sports, especially
- 34:19Speaker 5: when you're talking about the NFL, you're talking about the UFC,
- 34:22Speaker 5: You're talking about.
- 34:22Speaker 3: These right, the access resources, they're just in abundance, and
- 34:25Speaker 3: guys would rather not like look in the mirror, look
- 34:28Speaker 3: at themselves closely to realize like the mistake that they
- 34:30Speaker 3: made that they might not have understood at the time.
- 34:33Speaker 3: But you you ultimately fully identify with just what you
- 34:37Speaker 3: do for a living and the minute that that's taken
- 34:40Speaker 3: away from you, because in sports you kind of have control,
- 34:43Speaker 3: but really you don't have control when that moment's taken
- 34:45Speaker 3: away from you, well, dictated by somebody else usually and
- 34:49Speaker 3: then at that point, you know your eyes, you've wasted
- 34:52Speaker 3: all that time. They're probably not thinking about that. They're
- 34:54Speaker 3: just thinking about how their contract situation was, or how
- 34:57Speaker 3: they got fucked or how they got screwed. And it's
- 34:59Speaker 3: easier to come playing and point the finger than it
- 35:01Speaker 3: is to be like, okay, I put myself in this situation.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Yeah, and we are, you know, as athletes, like we
- 35:06Speaker 5: got a lot of ego, right.
- 35:07Speaker 6: And people are afraid to take risks.
- 35:08Speaker 5: You guys took a big risk to getting laughed at
- 35:11Speaker 5: and pointing your finger at whenever you guys were doing
- 35:14Speaker 5: that first episode. And if Busting doesn't take off and
- 35:17Speaker 5: become what it is today, you guys took a huge
- 35:18Speaker 5: risk to get completely embarrassed by all your all your
- 35:21Speaker 5: boys in the locker room, right like it was.
- 35:23Speaker 6: It was a risk that you took.
- 35:24Speaker 4: People laughed at us.
- 35:25Speaker 6: I'm saying they could have.
- 35:26Speaker 5: I'm saying they could have if this whole thing didn't
- 35:28Speaker 5: take off, right Like that's people are afraid to take
- 35:31Speaker 5: risks too, which that's a part of human nature as well,
- 35:34Speaker 5: especially when you're on a platform I've done it a
- 35:36Speaker 5: thousand times. I mean when it comes to these little
- 35:38Speaker 5: failed things on my merchan is and selling good right,
- 35:40Speaker 5: I tried this or I tried like you guys do
- 35:41Speaker 5: a good job of like we're gonna throw this out.
- 35:43Speaker 6: There if it works.
- 35:44Speaker 5: It doesn't, Yeah it doesn't work, no ego, who cares
- 35:47Speaker 5: move on to the next thing.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you're a failure or not having to feel failure failure.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Because then it's like you you do all these things
- 35:53Speaker 3: and put yourself out there to kind of whether it's
- 35:55Speaker 3: promote brands or all the things that you kind of
- 35:57Speaker 3: dip your hand into, and then you go out there
- 35:59Speaker 3: on the on the field or in the octagon and fail, right,
- 36:02Speaker 3: and that you just know you're in your insecure brain
- 36:06Speaker 3: were opened up to those like vulnerabilities of people to
- 36:09Speaker 3: be like, well, you shouldn't have been doing this the
- 36:10Speaker 3: whole time.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Right, anytime I had a bad game or a game
- 36:14Speaker 4: that we lost or something like that, it was always like,
- 36:16Speaker 4: if this guy would just be more focused on football
- 36:18Speaker 4: instead of podcasting, and the thing I was obviously logically
- 36:22Speaker 4: you look at it and you're like, okay, everybody does
- 36:24Speaker 4: things outside of football. Then no, one's just one hundred
- 36:26Speaker 4: percent ball. All the time I was playing video games
- 36:28Speaker 4: or real estate or whatever. My thing just happens to
- 36:30Speaker 4: be in front of everybody else's eyes and that's how logically.
- 36:34Speaker 4: But when those things happen, you do have the insecurities
- 36:36Speaker 4: of being like, maybe they're right, maybe I should be
- 36:38Speaker 4: just focused on X one day. And that's the thing.
- 36:40Speaker 4: The first couple of years of our podcast I struggled
- 36:42Speaker 4: with a lot. It was always about like backloading episodes
- 36:45Speaker 4: and making sure that you know, I wasn't at the
- 36:48Speaker 4: bus during the season and all this diff episodes.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Because you just be and you because you were gone
- 36:52Speaker 5: right yeah you know, and you guys were kind of and.
- 36:54Speaker 4: The availability is there, like I had Monday, half of
- 36:56Speaker 4: Monday off, all of Tuesday off, like a lot of
- 36:58Speaker 4: opportunity to go and do what this was. But it
- 37:01Speaker 4: was truly the insecurity of I got to make sure
- 37:04Speaker 4: people know that I'm focused, as opposed to just trusting
- 37:06Speaker 4: my process and knowing that knowing for myself, the self
- 37:09Speaker 4: validation of being like I know I'm doing what's right. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 4: it was like trying to check those boxes and it's
- 37:14Speaker 4: so hard because we had Derek on it would be
- 37:17Speaker 4: last week. We actually when we filled them with yesterday.
- 37:20Speaker 4: He was such a unique perspective to see from Derek
- 37:23Speaker 4: because now you can see that a chapter of his
- 37:26Speaker 4: career is ending, not the whole entire career, but the
- 37:28Speaker 4: chapter of the Titans is ending. And the level of
- 37:29Speaker 4: gratitude that he was displaying is was unordinary, and it's
- 37:33Speaker 4: you just kind of wish these levels of clarity you
- 37:36Speaker 4: have after the fact, that post nut clarity of your
- 37:40Speaker 4: career or whatever, you could go back and be like, hey, listen,
- 37:43Speaker 4: tell yourself, it's all good. This is all just smoking
- 37:46Speaker 4: mirrors as opposed to, you know, doing it the way
- 37:49Speaker 4: you did originally.
- 37:50Speaker 6: No, Yeah, I mean that's why.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 5: I mean I've talked about that too, This vision that
- 37:54Speaker 5: I've had of me that last fight, after the last
- 37:56Speaker 5: fight in some arena somewhere, looking in the mirror when
- 37:59Speaker 5: I know it's over, Like putting myself in that, in
- 38:02Speaker 5: that position, in that psyche, in that in that feeling,
- 38:05Speaker 5: you know, in order to be grateful today, because yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 5: that is that you do have so much. It happened
- 38:12Speaker 5: to me big time with with Missoo wrestling, Like the
- 38:14Speaker 5: last time I took off those straps for the last time,
- 38:17Speaker 5: and that chapter was.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Over and move on to the new one.
- 38:19Speaker 5: I thought, Man, why did I put so much pressure
- 38:21Speaker 5: on myself? This wasn't that big of a deal. I
- 38:23Speaker 5: underperformed really bad, which was a good thing for my
- 38:25Speaker 5: mixed martial arts career because obviously now that has propelled
- 38:28Speaker 5: me into the man I am today. But that clarity
- 38:32Speaker 5: that you have after the fact, which is that's a
- 38:34Speaker 5: really cool perspective to hear him.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, all right, hey guys, it's me Taylor. We're
- 38:40Speaker 4: gonna ruber this episode real quick to bring you cars

- 39:12Speaker 3: Going back to you know, the things you're doing outside
- 39:15Speaker 3: of the octagon and kind of having to have that
- 39:17Speaker 3: patience for McGregor. Were there ever times where you're just
- 39:21Speaker 3: because at the same time, you're still the main thing
- 39:24Speaker 3: you want to do and love to do. Is that
- 39:25Speaker 3: competitive spirit that you always talk about is being in
- 39:27Speaker 3: the octagon and fighting like you could have been lining
- 39:30Speaker 3: up other fights. Whether ever moments where you're like, listen,
- 39:33Speaker 3: I don't think he's ever actually gonna come back. I
- 39:35Speaker 3: think he's doing it for the attention, Like I might
- 39:37Speaker 3: have to make a move because it's like, you know,
- 39:41Speaker 3: at the end of the day, you can't sit here
- 39:42Speaker 3: and wait year after year for one fight when you
- 39:45Speaker 3: could have been making you know, making money going after
- 39:48Speaker 3: other fights, going after a title a different way talk
- 39:52Speaker 3: about that.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Yeah, No, there's definitely been times. It never got to
- 39:56Speaker 5: the point where I was like, hey, it's it's happening
- 39:59Speaker 5: soon where we're making a phone call. And also I
- 40:01Speaker 5: also never gotten a phone call by the way from
- 40:04Speaker 5: the UFC.
- 40:05Speaker 6: Hey probably not happened.
- 40:06Speaker 5: We probably you should probably think about stop wasting some time, right, Yeah,
- 40:09Speaker 5: that's never happened. There's other fights happening, other fights fight
- 40:12Speaker 5: happening within the top seven of my division, and there
- 40:16Speaker 5: was two big fights that just got announced with Pourier
- 40:18Speaker 5: fighting and a Lavera fighting another guy, Serukian and then
- 40:21Speaker 5: and I got no calls from any of that stuff.
- 40:23Speaker 5: So it's always been Chandler versus McGregor. It's just the
- 40:25Speaker 5: question was when. And yeah, obviously we hear the noise.
- 40:30Speaker 5: We you know, we hear the noise. We see the
- 40:32Speaker 5: people talking to me about me, about wasting my career
- 40:35Speaker 5: and all that kind of stuff, and they have it
- 40:36Speaker 5: way overblown. Everyone thinks it's been like two years since
- 40:39Speaker 5: I have fought, and if you really go back, I
- 40:42Speaker 5: fought in November, I did the Ultimate Fighter February to
- 40:45Speaker 5: mid March, and then the Ultimate Fighter played out, so
- 40:49Speaker 5: it's only hasn't even been a full year let yet
- 40:51Speaker 5: since I finished the Ultimate Fighter. So people talking about
- 40:54Speaker 5: wasting the career, and of course I hear it. I'm thinking, man,
- 40:56Speaker 5: I am gonna look like a big dummy. This thing
- 40:58Speaker 5: does never happen. But once again making taking the risk,
- 41:02Speaker 5: taking a calculated risk, not being afraid of the quote
- 41:05Speaker 5: unquote failure if this guy you know, never comes back,
- 41:09Speaker 5: or if he came back. And for a while he
- 41:11Speaker 5: was calling on other people and he's I'm gonna get
- 41:13Speaker 5: passed over, they say, and they're gonna do this fight
- 41:15Speaker 5: or that fight. So it's been a it's been a whirlwind.
- 41:18Speaker 5: But ultimately, man, when you feel it in your heart
- 41:22Speaker 5: in your gut, you just gotta roll with it. And
- 41:24Speaker 5: I can live with it the rest of my life.
- 41:26Speaker 5: If this fight never was going to happen, it's going
- 41:29Speaker 5: to happen. But if it never was going to I
- 41:31Speaker 5: can lay my head on the pillow and be fine,
- 41:32Speaker 5: and I can hop into a training camp tomorrow and
- 41:34Speaker 5: I can fight the next guy, whoever it is. So
- 41:37Speaker 5: it's you can always pivot. You can always make the
- 41:39Speaker 5: best decision you can with the information you have. The
- 41:41Speaker 5: information I have was that Chandler versus McGregor is happening.
- 41:44Speaker 5: It just was a matter of win, and now that
- 41:46Speaker 5: win is June twenty ninth International Fight Week.
- 41:49Speaker 3: How supportive or not? Maybe not supportive is the right word.
- 41:53Speaker 3: But what were the conversations like with the UFC, Because
- 41:56Speaker 3: I would almost think too, like if they do call
- 41:58Speaker 3: you about something else, then maybe it's like, Okay, maybe
- 42:00Speaker 3: this fight isn't happening because they're talking to me about UFC.
- 42:03Speaker 3: To sixty or whatever it is. I might be completely off,
- 42:06Speaker 3: sorry to disrespect your favorites. For JP was like like that,
- 42:12Speaker 3: but we did like slowly come up.
- 42:14Speaker 5: That was like February.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know what I mean, like how how
- 42:19Speaker 3: uh you know, how helpful was the UFC in some
- 42:21Speaker 3: of those conversations.
- 42:22Speaker 5: No, that's it's a good question because you know, ultimately
- 42:25Speaker 5: I have a great relationship with the UFC Hunter Dana.
- 42:29Speaker 5: I've never gotten those calls that said that was like hey,
- 42:32Speaker 5: or even talks in person when I go to the
- 42:34Speaker 5: UFC events or in Vegas wherever.
- 42:37Speaker 6: It never was a question of hey.
- 42:39Speaker 5: Dude, looking in the eye, like Okay, we kind of
- 42:41Speaker 5: made a mistake. We kind of led you down the
- 42:43Speaker 5: wrong road. You should probably pivot here because this guy
- 42:45Speaker 5: ain't coming back. It's never once been that. It's always
- 42:48Speaker 5: been give me some time, give us some time. And
- 42:51Speaker 5: this is what this is what Hunter said at the
- 42:53Speaker 5: very beginning as we as we set up the Ultimate Fighter,
- 42:56Speaker 5: he said, I promise you this will be the most
- 42:58Speaker 5: unconventional fight booking you will ever have in your entire life.
- 43:02Speaker 5: It's gonna be up, it's gonna be down. Just hang
- 43:03Speaker 5: on for the ride and watch it all play out.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Just things are happening, things are moving, We're good, right,
- 43:09Speaker 5: and it's just continued to be that way. And he's
- 43:11Speaker 5: reminded me of that like ten different times. Right And ultimately,
- 43:14Speaker 5: like I said, I could sit back sulk. Wish I
- 43:17Speaker 5: would have fought him in December, Wish I would have
- 43:18Speaker 5: fought him right after the Ultimate Fighter. I can do that,
- 43:20Speaker 5: and I can set on my hands and train, or
- 43:23Speaker 5: I can work on these other things and keep myself busy.
- 43:25Speaker 5: And you know, speaking of support, Bree, my wife, the
- 43:27Speaker 5: support that she has had throughout this entire time, her
- 43:30Speaker 5: working her face off, you know, because I'm also not fighting,
- 43:34Speaker 5: but I am working, but I'm not fighting. So she's
- 43:36Speaker 5: been working like crazy, and I'd love for her to
- 43:39Speaker 5: do that because she loves doing that. But the last
- 43:42Speaker 5: year has been good. There's been a lot of very
- 43:44Speaker 5: good things about the patients. I've had to grow, spending
- 43:47Speaker 5: time with my family. So it's been a heck of
- 43:50Speaker 5: a ride. But we're less than six months away from
- 43:52Speaker 5: decapitating this dude.
- 43:54Speaker 4: You bring up Hunter, and obviously Dana is the face
- 43:56Speaker 4: the UFC. When you think of the UFC, you think
- 43:58Speaker 4: of Dana White, but talk about a Hunter dude, and
- 44:01Speaker 4: like how much behind the scenes he is and how
- 44:04Speaker 4: much he really he is truly the uh, the engine,
- 44:07Speaker 4: a part of that whole thing. Cause I like, you
- 44:09Speaker 4: know how I feel about both those guys. I love
- 44:11Speaker 4: and respect the shit out of them. But I'd love
- 44:12Speaker 4: to hear from a fighter's perspective, like how important he
- 44:16Speaker 4: is to that organization.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean obviously, Yeah, like you said, Dave or
- 44:20Speaker 5: Dana is the forward facing one mainly, I think you know,
- 44:23Speaker 5: you see Hunters, Hunter's name being thrown around a little
- 44:26Speaker 5: bit more Hunter referencing or Dana referencing Hunter publicly and
- 44:30Speaker 5: different things.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Hunter handled some of the kind.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Of USADA announcement and all that stuff because he's a
- 44:36Speaker 5: lawyer for the UFC. But yeah, I mean, I I
- 44:39Speaker 5: do a lot of my stuff directly with Hunter. There's
- 44:41Speaker 5: a lot of big name fighters that you all know
- 44:44Speaker 5: that that do a lot of stuff directly with Hunter.
- 44:47Speaker 5: You got your you got the matchmakers, and then Hunter
- 44:49Speaker 5: and Dana are part of that matchmaking process. Every Tuesday
- 44:52Speaker 5: they do their matchmaker meeting, talk about the matchups and
- 44:54Speaker 5: all that kind of stuff.
- 44:55Speaker 6: But yeah, Hunter Hunter, Uh.
- 44:58Speaker 5: From a legal he's got the legal mind because he's
- 45:01Speaker 5: a he's a lawyer by trade, and obviously he's been
- 45:04Speaker 5: in the UFC now for however many years. Has been
- 45:06Speaker 5: a long time, and he has continued to take.
- 45:08Speaker 6: On more and more and more as.
- 45:10Speaker 5: The UFC has grown, like exponentially. Right, Dana can't handle
- 45:14Speaker 5: it all. He handles all the announcements, he handles all
- 45:17Speaker 5: the forward facing stuff in the media. But Hunter's the
- 45:21Speaker 5: guy that I go to ninety percent of the time
- 45:23Speaker 5: when it comes.
- 45:24Speaker 3: To I mean, he's just got that like that it factor,
- 45:28Speaker 3: that ability to like, you know, to keep sharpening like
- 45:31Speaker 3: all those tools and skills. Because I think he started
- 45:33Speaker 3: in the UFC just as like an intern, right, Like
- 45:35Speaker 3: he was an.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Intern and I don't think he'd passed his bar yet,
- 45:38Speaker 4: but he was, Yeah, essentially became an intern, became a lawyer,
- 45:42Speaker 4: and then Dana's like, who the fuck is this guy?
- 45:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Yeah, like we can't let him out the building.
- 45:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and became like literally Dana's right hand man any situation.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 5: I Mean, I think the cool thing about these guys too,
- 45:52Speaker 5: is is this is my personal experience. It's always been
- 45:55Speaker 5: very black and white and honest too. It's with me
- 45:59Speaker 5: and I with that emboldens both sides where we're like,
- 46:02Speaker 5: we're you know, I'm a last contract negotiation.
- 46:04Speaker 6: Why not ask for a little bit more.
- 46:05Speaker 5: And if they can give it, then they can. If
- 46:07Speaker 5: they can't, he's gonna tell me, no, you can't do it.
- 46:09Speaker 5: And here's why. Here's X, Y and Z fighting this
- 46:11Speaker 5: guy fighting that guy. All these different aspects. It's always
- 46:15Speaker 5: been very black and white, which is with for guys
- 46:17Speaker 5: like this who don't have time to beat around the
- 46:19Speaker 5: bush and play games and all that kind of stuff,
- 46:21Speaker 5: you know, because they're dealing.
- 46:22Speaker 6: I would do not envy what these guys have to do.
- 46:25Speaker 5: All these guys and gals on the roster, egos, egos involved,
- 46:29Speaker 5: and all these different things going on, these big fights.
- 46:32Speaker 5: As we sit here today, right we're talking about June
- 46:33Speaker 5: twenty ninth, Channel versus McGregor International Fight Week. They're still
- 46:36Speaker 5: booking UFC three hundred, which is going to be one
- 46:38Speaker 5: of the biggest cars they've ever done. They got a
- 46:40Speaker 5: fight starting, you know, this weekend. Every single weekend basically
- 46:45Speaker 5: of twenty twenty four had a nice little three weeks
- 46:48Speaker 5: off or whatever it is. So it's a constant moving machine,
- 46:53Speaker 5: and these guys like I ain't got time to beat
- 46:54Speaker 5: around the bush. Here's the offer, here's not the offer.
- 46:57Speaker 5: Oh you want this, okay, well let's talk about that.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Here's why we can. Here's why we can't. Just a
- 47:00Speaker 5: machine a machine, dude. And they're like even a fight
- 47:03Speaker 5: as big as me and Connor too. It's like quick
- 47:06Speaker 5: phone calls. So hey, let's talk about this.
- 47:07Speaker 6: Are we good?
- 47:08Speaker 5: All right?
- 47:08Speaker 3: Cool?
- 47:08Speaker 4: So yea yeah, I don't even say bye.
- 47:10Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah right.
- 47:11Speaker 5: I told you. I told you about the conversation my
- 47:13Speaker 5: first conversation with Dana when he hung up on me
- 47:15Speaker 5: and didn't say bye to me.
- 47:16Speaker 3: No.
- 47:16Speaker 5: Ever, remember when he was on the on the plane
- 47:18Speaker 5: and I had I had the phone call with him
- 47:21Speaker 5: and he's like, oh I love it and I love
- 47:23Speaker 5: it and then click and I'm like, oh, dude, Like
- 47:26Speaker 5: did he just hang up on me?
- 47:27Speaker 3: What just happened?
- 47:28Speaker 5: And then he called me back one minute later and
- 47:30Speaker 5: he's like, hey, dude, I just talked to Hunter just
- 47:32Speaker 5: I just told him to you know, I just told
- 47:34Speaker 5: him to get a deal done with you.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Basically, I was like, this is when you were signing
- 47:37Speaker 3: to the UFC.
- 47:38Speaker 6: I was standing out. I was in Las Vegas. I
- 47:39Speaker 6: flew to Las Vegas.
- 47:40Speaker 5: I was standing outside of this place that my manager
- 47:43Speaker 5: Randall would remember because he's born and raised there. But
- 47:45Speaker 5: we went there after a meeting with Hunter to go
- 47:47Speaker 5: like decompress and have a drink and then and that's
- 47:50Speaker 5: when Dana called me. And then standing outside of this place,
- 47:53Speaker 5: I forget what it.
- 47:53Speaker 6: Was called, but yeah, I was.
- 47:55Speaker 5: I was like walking between these two big rocks. There
- 47:57Speaker 5: was two big rocks, and I was like jumping back
- 47:59Speaker 5: and forth nervously as I'm talking to Dana for the
- 48:01Speaker 5: first time ever.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm about to make this big job.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:06Speaker 5: I surprised myself at what I was able to say, right,
- 48:09Speaker 5: because I mean, when you when you feel like you've
- 48:11Speaker 5: done things right long enough, eventually, when the moment arises,
- 48:14Speaker 5: at your greatest moment of opportunity, you are emboldened to
- 48:18Speaker 5: buy the circumstances. And it was a good conversation and
- 48:22Speaker 5: things have been very good ever since, and three years
- 48:24Speaker 5: into it.
- 48:25Speaker 6: Still haven't fought in Vegas yet, but we're gonna make that.
- 48:27Speaker 4: We're gonna get it done twenty nine.
- 48:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 48:30Speaker 5: Imagine they're like, yeah, imagine they're like Okay, we're doing
- 48:32Speaker 5: this date and they're like, it's in Madison Square On.
- 48:35Speaker 5: I'm like, nope, can't do it. Not fighting anywhere else
- 48:37Speaker 5: besides Vegas.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Throw that weight around.
- 48:40Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a fight. They're like, hey, you do realize
- 48:43Speaker 5: you you don't have a say, yeah, just take the
- 48:48Speaker 5: ego out of it.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Boys.
- 48:49Speaker 6: I just want to go out there and freaking beat
- 48:51Speaker 6: this dude up.
- 48:51Speaker 5: Man, that's it's been Uh.
- 48:53Speaker 3: The environment is going to be electric.
- 48:56Speaker 5: It is, man, I mean, you know, how do you
- 48:57Speaker 5: start to prepare for that? The environment?
- 49:00Speaker 3: Yeah, the environment not like obviously, you know, you're gonna
- 49:02Speaker 3: handle your business like you do with any opponent with Connor,
- 49:05Speaker 3: but I mean, this is this will be like the
- 49:08Speaker 3: most anticipated fight in a long time because McGregor is
- 49:12Speaker 3: coming back, and it's like you have to take in
- 49:14Speaker 3: that environment so you know, as you know, don't get
- 49:16Speaker 3: too high, don't get too low. Yeah.
- 49:18Speaker 5: I think it's gonna it is gonna take a lot
- 49:20Speaker 5: of mental preparation. I and I did just have a
- 49:23Speaker 5: call with a guy who's gonna coach me from a
- 49:26Speaker 5: mental aspect, who actually just got named the number one
- 49:29Speaker 5: coach on the planet, actually above Tim Grover above Tony Robbins.
- 49:34Speaker 5: I won't mention him here today, but we'll mention on
- 49:36Speaker 5: the next one. So we're gonna we'll Google right after
- 49:39Speaker 5: Google number one, number one.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Then.
- 49:41Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a friend of mine that you guys already know, right.
- 49:44Speaker 6: But yeah, I mean it's gonna I think it's gonna It.
- 49:47Speaker 5: Is gonna take a lot, a lot of visualization. I
- 49:50Speaker 5: didn't want to start too early until the fight really
- 49:52Speaker 5: got solidified. Now we got six months and we're gonna
- 49:54Speaker 5: have our physical training. We're gonna have that mental training
- 49:56Speaker 5: of of visualizing and seeing and feeling and smelling and
- 50:00Speaker 5: tasting all of the different emotions that are going to
- 50:02Speaker 5: happen June twenty ninth. But yeah, man, I believe it's
- 50:06Speaker 5: gonna be the best camp in my life. I believe
- 50:08Speaker 5: it's I believe I was I was chosen and born
- 50:10Speaker 5: for a time such as this. Finally that shift all
- 50:13Speaker 5: of these years, right, you know, all of those years
- 50:16Speaker 5: of freaking being down in the valley, nobody watching my
- 50:19Speaker 5: fights in Bellatoor and being the number top, number five
- 50:22Speaker 5: guy in the world, nobody caring, nobody knowing who I
- 50:24Speaker 5: was coming into the UFC, having banger after banger losing
- 50:28Speaker 5: a couple of fights, winning a couple of fights, the naysayers,
- 50:31Speaker 5: the doubters, all of it will culminate on June twenty ninth,
- 50:34Speaker 5: where I can say, with a little smile on my face,
- 50:37Speaker 5: I told y'all, who's next. You know, that's that's what
- 50:40Speaker 5: the shout out to there.
- 50:43Speaker 4: No let them know, let.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Say or no, fuck them all, dude, fuck them all.
- 50:48Speaker 4: That is going to be Selfishly, that is gonna be
- 50:51Speaker 4: so fucking awesome to be a part of. To just
- 50:54Speaker 4: sit there and watch and be like, Hey, my fucking
- 50:57Speaker 4: boy's going to war. Connor McGregor, Yeah, that is gonna
- 51:00Speaker 4: be awesome. It's yeah, tactically, there's a lot more to
- 51:03Speaker 4: prepare for than just the environment. That guy's got a
- 51:06Speaker 4: silver tongue. He does a good job of getting in
- 51:08Speaker 4: dude's ears. We brought this up to you. I think
- 51:12Speaker 4: it was on the stream, but maybe come outs of
- 51:14Speaker 4: the same music as Connor, you think. I think that
- 51:18Speaker 4: shit would be the one of the best troll jobs ever,
- 51:21Speaker 4: because you're in a huge music Everyone's be like, oh
- 51:23Speaker 4: my god, it's here, and then one guy will be like,
- 51:25Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure Candler's coming out first, right, and then
- 51:28Speaker 4: all of a sudden you come out and then they
- 51:30Speaker 4: play his music. Talk about just flipping the script on
- 51:33Speaker 4: him real quick.
- 51:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't even know if you're allowed to do that,
- 51:37Speaker 5: Like honestly, Oh, that would be a great idea ultimate
- 51:41Speaker 5: troll job. Actually, uh, that would be the ultimate troll job.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Whether I was whether I was first, It would actually
- 51:49Speaker 5: be better if I walked out first, because I don't
- 51:51Speaker 5: don't because you talk about who's gonna walk out first
- 51:53Speaker 5: normally for those listening, and I actually don't know the
- 51:56Speaker 5: always the criteria, but he usually who's ranked higher. But
- 51:59Speaker 5: if we're know we haven't talked about weight class yet.
- 52:01Speaker 5: Obviously Connor said one eighty five. It could be one
- 52:03Speaker 5: eighty five, it could be one seventy whatever. Either way,
- 52:05Speaker 5: it's not one fifty five, so I would be I
- 52:08Speaker 5: would technically walk second because I'm ranked higher than he
- 52:10Speaker 5: is at one fifty five.
- 52:13Speaker 6: But if it's not a one fifty five.
- 52:15Speaker 5: Then I might walk first, which would be the ultimate Troldrob.
- 52:19Speaker 3: If I walked out to him, that would be all
- 52:20Speaker 3: I did.
- 52:21Speaker 6: Talk to our boy Nate today about the walkout.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Coming out, Yeah, get you gett him talked into it. No,
- 52:27Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 52:29Speaker 5: But we're gonna get in the We're gonna get in
- 52:30Speaker 5: the lab though.
- 52:31Speaker 4: And bro, I don't know. I feel like Nate's dude,
- 52:32Speaker 4: if you press umbrella closes and he's like, we're good.
- 52:38Speaker 6: I know exactly. That's why I'm trying to, you know.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Just just n he's very much an artist, very much
- 52:45Speaker 4: an artist.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Where were you alluding to, like a like a one off.
- 52:50Speaker 5: Uh no, I'm just talk that would be insane, all right, No, No,
- 52:55Speaker 5: I mean no, and f.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Doing a just revamp the special just unique vamp.
- 52:59Speaker 5: Yeah, revamp in my currents because right now I do
- 53:02Speaker 5: the intro to pay my dues with the see you
- 53:04Speaker 5: at the top and then where the beat go search
- 53:07Speaker 5: first verse, search second verse and then kind of actually loops.
- 53:11Speaker 5: So we're gonna work on a little bit. But but
- 53:14Speaker 5: the ultimate troll drop would be walking out to the thing.
- 53:16Speaker 5: I think it's called the Foggy d mixed with Notorious
- 53:19Speaker 5: Big whatever.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Yeah, walking down would be awesome.
- 53:22Speaker 4: Steal it and he'd be like, what but go back
- 53:25Speaker 4: to a time the Nate thing him walking out with you.
- 53:28Speaker 4: I saw a clip on like a YouTube show or
- 53:30Speaker 4: something like that. Where Dana was like, our fighters don't
- 53:33Speaker 4: do that. You look at boxing. They got fifty guys
- 53:34Speaker 4: in there. They don't fucking belong in there, Like, who
- 53:36Speaker 4: the fuck are these guys? Like, you're there for business.
- 53:39Speaker 4: So if you were able to get Nate to walk
- 53:41Speaker 4: out with you, we didn't let that happen.
- 53:44Speaker 5: So what I would say is if history is a
- 53:46Speaker 5: predictor of the future, they did on Connor versus Chad Mendez,
- 53:51Speaker 5: there was h Lewis helped me with the country boy song.
- 53:58Speaker 5: He sang, but he didn't walk out. He was like
- 54:00Speaker 5: he was on a stage and a and a spotlight
- 54:03Speaker 5: hit him and then also, sorry, I should I should
- 54:06Speaker 5: know this rest in peace to the girl who actually
- 54:09Speaker 5: she is now no longer with us, who sings the
- 54:11Speaker 5: foggy due but she yeah here it is right here,
- 54:16Speaker 5: but she sang and I think that might yeah you know,
- 54:19Speaker 5: so they did the little spotlight thing so they didn't
- 54:21Speaker 5: technically walk out. Oh yeah, this would be her and yeah,
- 54:27Speaker 5: oh shenead O'Connor, Hey this is.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Hard and this was the co main event.
- 54:53Speaker 5: Oh no, it was the main event. I was in Mexico.
- 54:59Speaker 5: Who shring it at a little tiki bar? Yeah, watching
- 55:02Speaker 5: this fight because it was probably with Alli versus Rory
- 55:04Speaker 5: McDonald after and it was Aaron Lewis next where he sings.
- 55:07Speaker 3: The I don't damn what we're going.
- 55:11Speaker 4: We were I was getting ready.
- 55:13Speaker 5: To there, but you know they're on their own little stages.
- 55:16Speaker 5: They didn't walk out, but I mean, this is long.
- 55:18Speaker 5: I need to send this to Night actually because we're
- 55:20Speaker 5: working on it.
- 55:21Speaker 4: But so you're working on it, has he's like just
- 55:23Speaker 4: said no a bunch of times and you keep coming
- 55:25Speaker 4: back to the table, keep firing or is it like
- 55:27Speaker 4: I don't know, man.
- 55:28Speaker 5: He's cool with being an artist, like you said, and
- 55:30Speaker 5: being on being in the lab and you know, cutting
- 55:32Speaker 5: some stuff together, but he's not not into the whole
- 55:34Speaker 5: walkout thing.
- 55:34Speaker 6: But you know, we keep working on him.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Look at his Look at his face, dude, Yeah, so
- 55:40Speaker 4: much different.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Care you care about which way classes at?
- 55:45Speaker 5: I don't know. I mean ultimately too, because you know,
- 55:48Speaker 5: and I've seen the comments or the general thread of
- 55:51Speaker 5: what people think. It's like, oh, dude, these guys fight
- 55:53Speaker 5: at t It's gonna be the worst fight ever.
- 55:55Speaker 6: They're all both gonna gas out.
- 55:56Speaker 5: It's like, it's not like I'm gonna bulk up to
- 55:59Speaker 5: two ten and then cut to one eighty five.
- 56:01Speaker 6: We fight at one eighty five.
- 56:02Speaker 5: I'm doing the exact same training camp with a couple
- 56:04Speaker 5: more calories and just not muscle wasting and getting myself
- 56:07Speaker 5: down into the one seventies. I'll just stick around it
- 56:09Speaker 5: one eight five, you know, I'll just stay at one
- 56:11Speaker 5: eighty five instead of crushing myself at a calorie deficit
- 56:15Speaker 5: for ten weeks straight to get down.
- 56:16Speaker 6: At one fifty five.
- 56:18Speaker 5: At one seventy, it's a nice little happy medium walk
- 56:22Speaker 5: around at people think two hundred something when he was
- 56:25Speaker 5: at his biggest, but he wasn't. He's got a really
- 56:27Speaker 5: good photographer with great lighting and good angles and maybe
- 56:30Speaker 5: a little photoshop. But I think.
- 56:33Speaker 3: He he does look juicy at times.
- 56:36Speaker 5: Yeah, when he was doing the Roadhouse movie, some of
- 56:38Speaker 5: those which comes out in March, shout out Jake Jaillenhall.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Like that one, it's like oh mm hmm yeah that one.
- 56:45Speaker 3: His face looks up the left, go up, second row.
- 56:48Speaker 5: Left, Oh yeah, like those eatie yeah, meaty.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 6: He got yeah, big for that, Yeah, big for that.
- 56:56Speaker 5: I uh so, I mean I think he was one
- 56:59Speaker 5: ninety max.
- 57:02Speaker 3: There.
- 57:03Speaker 5: He's got he's got hollow bones. I think he's a
- 57:06Speaker 5: He's not He's not a He's not a heavy individual.
- 57:10Speaker 3: So you're you thinking you better bigger than Connor.
- 57:13Speaker 5: I would do better bigger because you also got to
- 57:16Speaker 5: remember who are we talking about here. Part of the
- 57:19Speaker 5: reason why we work so hard is not because we're
- 57:22Speaker 5: hard workers, but because we are forced to work hard.
- 57:24Speaker 5: I'm forced to work hard to put the work in
- 57:28Speaker 5: every day to make one fifty five. Now, if you
- 57:31Speaker 5: if you had to bet, who's gonna put in more
- 57:33Speaker 5: work while they're not cutting weight? Is it me? Or
- 57:34Speaker 5: is it Connor? If Connor doesn't have to do any
- 57:36Speaker 5: work to make the weight, if he doesn't have to
- 57:38Speaker 5: do any extra cardio, if he doesn't have to eat perfectly,
- 57:40Speaker 5: if he doesn't have to supplement right, sleep right to
- 57:43Speaker 5: make one eighty five. I like my I like my
- 57:46Speaker 5: chances even more at one eighty five because I know
- 57:48Speaker 5: I will be living a ridiculously clean lifestyle between now
- 57:51Speaker 5: and June twenty ninth, and I can't say the same
- 57:53Speaker 5: about him. So I think it benefits me for sure.
- 57:55Speaker 5: So he wants to do one eighty five, and people
- 57:57Speaker 5: can call me a you know, I'm doing as I told,
- 58:00Speaker 5: as I'm told.
- 58:00Speaker 4: Whatever, blah blah blah, I always white noise.
- 58:03Speaker 3: That's a that's a tip of the cap comment by
- 58:07Speaker 3: him that went viral. It was great, great comment Like
- 58:10Speaker 3: once that get said, you're just like fuck yeah.
- 58:12Speaker 5: But also, if you remember, it was nice, it was good,
- 58:15Speaker 5: and they cut it.
- 58:15Speaker 3: They cut it.
- 58:16Speaker 5: They cut it as if I didn't say anything back.
- 58:18Speaker 5: I did say something back. I just said something like, oh,
- 58:20Speaker 5: come on, dude.
- 58:21Speaker 4: Like, oh yeah, yeah, you say that right now?
- 58:24Speaker 6: Yeah you know you are, but what am I?
- 58:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 58:25Speaker 3: No.
- 58:27Speaker 5: But also too, if you if you think about it,
- 58:30Speaker 5: he doesn't want to fight at one fifty five because
- 58:31Speaker 5: he wants everybody to think he's bigger than he actually is.
- 58:34Speaker 5: He can't fight or wouldn't fight at one seventy because
- 58:37Speaker 5: I actually called him out of one seventy. So that's
- 58:39Speaker 5: not me doing as I'm told. That's me telling him
- 58:40Speaker 5: what weight class, so he had to come with something else.
- 58:43Speaker 5: It wasn't gonna be one forty five. Neither of us
- 58:45Speaker 5: can make one forty five, and it had to be so,
- 58:50Speaker 5: if you think about it, that's why it happened there. Now,
- 58:52Speaker 5: does the UFC want to do the fight at one
- 58:54Speaker 5: eighty five? Does it do anything for anybody? I don't
- 58:57Speaker 5: really care. Once again, going back to fight him at
- 59:00Speaker 5: any weight, anytime, any place. I'm ready tomorrow, as.
- 59:03Speaker 4: Long as it's Las Vegas, as long as it's lost, yea,
- 59:05Speaker 4: Or would you put your money?
- 59:06Speaker 5: Be honest, I would roll over and be like, okay, fine,
- 59:08Speaker 5: I'll fight and freaking wherever. But I want to fight
- 59:11Speaker 5: in Las Vegas.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, what if you had to put your money,
- 59:14Speaker 3: would you say it's at one seventy or one eighty five?
- 59:18Speaker 6: I think people think.
- 59:19Speaker 5: I think people think Connor has more pull than he
- 59:21Speaker 5: actually does, and Connor says one eighty five. I think
- 59:23Speaker 5: the UFC is, like I did, you're not fighting, So
- 59:26Speaker 5: I think I think it's gonna be one seventy, which
- 59:28Speaker 5: I love. I think one seventies great. Also, I can
- 59:31Speaker 5: make one fifty five on five would be good too.
- 59:33Speaker 5: So it's one of those things where the weight class,
- 59:36Speaker 5: I mean, we're still five and a half six months out,
- 59:38Speaker 5: like weight class doesn't matter.
- 59:41Speaker 6: Yeah, but it sure will be fun. I mean now
- 59:45Speaker 6: the reason too.
- 59:46Speaker 3: You know.
- 59:47Speaker 5: Connor actually tweeted this morning he can't wait to come
- 59:49Speaker 5: get his twentieth knockout, right, So he's he wants that
- 59:52Speaker 5: knockout against me, right, But also he would be the
- 59:54Speaker 5: first fighter to have a knockout in fortyferent weight classes
- 59:58Speaker 5: forty five, fifty five, seventy here he has now it's
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: that will be one eighty five.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: So that's kind of I.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Think a motivating.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Fact facing right.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: So Connor is always looking for what can I do
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: that's different than everyone else, right, right, That's why we
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: love him, That's why we hate him. That's why you know,
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: that's why he is who he is.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Wasn't he a trying to run for mayor of Ireland
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: or something.
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: Like that, because there's a lot of stuff going on
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: over there. I don't know if it was.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: There was some stabbings or some bumming or like something,
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: and our thoughts and prayers go out to the people
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: of Ireland. But there's you see him get outspoken. Yeah,
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: I know he's he's kind of doing the whole you know,
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: he's he's coming at the politicians like you know, you
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: talk about it, but you aren't doing anything.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: It's wouldn't pay, right, Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't be
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: surprised if you know that. Definitely was another deterrent where
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: people were like, dude, he's just doing this for his
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: political campaign. Why are you getting trolled right now? I'm like,
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: maybe we'll see.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you kind of hope he would be elected mayor
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: of Ireland and then you get to knock him out
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: and then technically you become the mayor of Ireland. I
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: think that's how it works over there.
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: Technically I just throned him out.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: I tell you what, the people of Ireland like me
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: more than they're like him.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: I'll tell you that much I do.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: I just listen, Mike, that's a crazy comment.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: It is a crazy comment.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: That's a wild that's a wild statement.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Put it out there.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: I'm just I'm just saying anecdotally.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: I have not met anybody who googleecdotally.
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Anecdotally is from personal experience.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Gotcha. Uh.
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: My anecdotal experience and evidence is that every person I've
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: talked to from Ireland or anybody who has been over
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: to Ireland and asked about the general sentiment of Connor McGregor,
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: is he left the people behind him.
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: Dude, they don't. They don't like that stuff.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Listen.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: We love flashy here in America. We love the money,
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: the cars, the glitz, the glenn. We love that stuff.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: The people of Ireland are hard working, blue collar, dirt
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: under their freaking fingernails type of people. Right, Suri Kats
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: Missouri cats Man, North County stand up right, you know
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: they they are that, they are that, they are those people.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: And we loved Connor when he was coming off the
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: couch on welfare. He was a plumber, right, that's the
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: Connor that we love, a real rags the richest story.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden the riches went to
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: his head and he left everybody. I'll tell you this too.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: I was at Roco Steakhouse in New York City. They
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: carry hiatus shout out to Rocko Steakhouse. We were there
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: and it was me, Sean Dill, Lacy Book and Brie
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: and there was a couple couple sitting next to us.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: It was her birthday. Turns out we started talking to her.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: I noticed her accent. She's from Ireland.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Her name is.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Laura, and I said, hey, who are you rooting for
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: in this next fight? And she said, oh well, she
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: said in her cute little accent accent. It was her
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: birthday and she said, oh.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: Oh, you know, mister Chandler happen there.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: And I tell you, she said, I'll tell you that
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: we used to love Connor. But now I'll tell you what.
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: If I was a vet, I'd take him out behind
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: the barn and I put him down.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Joking, she said she would take him.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: Out behind the barn and put him down, let him
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: out the pasture, so to speak. Right, And I think
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: that's the general sentiment. And granted, never hate on a man.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: For his success.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: But there's a right way to do it, there's a
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: wrong way to do it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: He's you know, I think he.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Did it wrong. What I'm hearing is you, as Connor McGregor,
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: did success wrong, and the whole country of Ireland hates him.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: That's what I That's what I had, the.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: Whole country lost out of where he came.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: From, lost out of where he came from.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: Now, granted, here's what I will say for me to like,
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: check myself right now, you can't judge a man unless
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: you've walked in his shoes. I am doing all right.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: I am, by no means as rich, wealthy and famous
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: as Connor McGregor. So unless you could have walked a
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: mile in the man's shoes, you can't really judge him.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: But that's my anecdotal experience of speaking to people from Ireland,
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: or speaking to anybody.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: Who has been in Ireland. Okay and asked about Connor.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: Came correct there because I did. I helped. Felt bad
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: trying to check you just now. But when he said
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: the country, like, yeah, the country of Ireland, I think
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: I do better. I pulled better in Ireland than McGregor died.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: Yeah, we pulled really well in Yeah, Fromland.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: When they're you know, they got a camera on the
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: people like I, Ireland goes hard. Yeah, like the press
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: they can go against America, like yeah, they're gonna show
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: up and show out. Yeah, like when that weighing happens
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: and all the like, all that stuff like that would
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: be that Ireland section. We'll see I they're cheering for you.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: Well for sure.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: I mean even if now here's what I will say.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: Here's what I will say.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: I mean, when you talk about sports in general, is
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: there ever a moment I love being American? I love
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: the US, the US of a greatest country on the planet.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: But every now and then, when you watch a soccer
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: game and you watch them the shot, you're like, dang,
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: those people get behind their athletes so much more than
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: the US, like they're waiting for our downfalls. Sometimes they're like, yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: I don't like this guy because of this. They're like, dude, yeah,
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: but I'm still American. You're gonna root for this guy.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: I'm still American, right Whereas like Ireland, like I said,
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: I think he left a lot of people behind, but
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: they're still gonna cheer for him.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: They still they got the try.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: That one comment from an American bag. Oh we gotta
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: take encounter and counters.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: Smart Connors smart too, man, Like he'll he'll know, he'll
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: know when to kind of turn it on on and
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: pull on the heart strings and win the people back
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: and then you know, for his election bid in twenty
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: twenty seven or whatever it is.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Yeah, whatever they do over there in Ireland, whatever they do.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: You think at all about the ship talking game? Yeah?
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I mean kind of we're gonna uh oh,
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: we're gonna have. Oh, we're gonna have Do you get.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: Do you know all about the ship talking game? Yes?
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I do.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: No, I do.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Actually wrote some stuff down yesterday.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: A right, Okay, I wrote some stuff down yesterday, so
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: I was ready for the pod. Okay, no, but me, Yeah,
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: of course I do. But I mean I have my
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: general talking points. I have why I know I deserve
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: to win this fight I have. I have my talking
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: points of why I know I'm going to beat him.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: I have my talking points of why I'm better than
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: him in every aspect of everything.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: We'll talk about it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Have you thought about the personal side?
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: No, as far as him getting personal with me?
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: Yeah? Both.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Do you want to do you want to role play
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: this one? No?
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: I think it would be really cool to jump across
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: a press conference and hit him with something. Though, would
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: be really cool if he said if he did go
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: that low, I mean we we.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: You know he probably will.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: He will what if he does, then, I mean it'll
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: be you know, I mean, we'll see what happens.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: Man. I mean, hey, I feel you.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: I have no problem letting an idiot say idiotic things
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: and letting him, letting him do it, and then go
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: whooping his ass inside the cage. But I think it
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: would be fun to pick up a monster water bottle
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: and throw his head. Yeah, you know four months before
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: chair or chair Yeah, Dana literally like pushed Dana into him. Yeah,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: and get fired and then yeah, so we actually won't
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: do that.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: Yeah, way for after the fight, and then you push
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Dana into.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Him because it's almost like you have to assume that
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: something like that it's going to get to that level.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Yeah, you have to assume that, you mean, and you know,
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: I mean, here's here's my thing with Connor.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: I I have a different perspective.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: I've studied the man obviously a lot over the last year,
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: but I've studied I've studied the entire MMA industry for
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: a very long time. There was some very personal stuff
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: he did with could be very very personal stuff he
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: did with with you know, it's he's not afraid to
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: keep going and going and going and going. I am
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: not the topic I who will probably push him far
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: enough for it to get personal. Does the trash talk
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: need to get personal for us to go put on
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: a great fight? I don't think so. However, I think
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: he spent five weeks with me couldn't really get under
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: my skin. I mean, there's nothing there's nothing better than
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: not having to say anything at all, and a man
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: feeling more insecure after having led, after after left a
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: interaction with you because you were so ten toes down,
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: confident in yourself as well. I think Connor, having spent
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: that time with me, is knows he won't be able
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: to get under my skin because I've trained for this,
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: I was made for this. So therefore, I think that's
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: my biggest feather in my cap because I'm not emotional.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: I'm not probably going to get emotional. Could be wrong,
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: could have.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Eat these words, who knows, But yeah, man, I mean
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: I got my I got my talking points, and I
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: look forward to it and I relish, relish it, especially.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: In the press conference environment. You know.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: The Ultimate Fighter was interesting because there's a reality show
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: and there's just wasn't the place necessarily.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: But that show jumps around a whole bunch. But towards
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: the end of the show, as it seemed, you guys
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: get yourself and will push pushing him And so is
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: that where it kind of left off or did that
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: happen way earlier? No, that's the show made it seem.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: No, that's that's where it pretty much left off.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: So you know, since then, you know, we haven't obviously
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: spoken or seen each other, you know, So that's the
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: that's the lasting impression. I remember right after that fight,
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: he he came out with the next fighter and normally
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: I'm like locked in with my fighter, but I have
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: my hands on the cage, and I was like watching
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: him walk out and I was looking at him, just smiling,
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: and he just made one of he made one of these.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: He made one of these his head. I think so.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: But remember he growls in your face at one point. Yeah,
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: oh he did. Growl.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Helps you know, confident you have to be to throw
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: a growl at somebody as a grown man.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: Yeah, that's sometimes or psychotic one of the Yeah, either way,
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: we're getting a good fight.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: Yeah, but do you think the advantage of doing the
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: ultimate fighter helps you in the situation? Getting around?
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Get around?
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: For those five six weeks, however long, it was able to,
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: you know, watch him at a closer angle than just clips. Yeah,
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: understand his process, how he works through things.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: Yeah, because not only him, but also the hearsay that's
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: getting back to him from his team. I was around
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: his team all. I was actually around his team a
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: little bit more than I was around him. You know,
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: he would show up to late, he would show up late,
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: come in whenever he wanted, and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: But I would see his photographer, I would see his
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: four coaches. I would see Kavanaugh. You know, be uh,
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: be violently nice to them, like you're being nice to
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: him and cordial. But they're like, damn, this dude's got
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: a little bit something wrong with them, you know.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: So, I uh, how was he as a coach? I
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: mean something the hearsafe from his guys.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: You know, look at the record, wow, I mean the
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: here's the.
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: From the guys. I can tell you this.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: By week three, some of those guys, some of those
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: guys finally were like, ah, screw it, dude, I'm not
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: gonna be friends with Connor. I think part of it
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: was like these dudes wanted to be on Connor's team
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: so they could attach themselves to Connor. Be friends with Connor.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: It wasn't to learn from Connor. It wasn't to fight
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: like Connor. It was like, hey, I get to be
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: on the cool guy side, right, I'm not on the
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: lunch pale side with Chandler over there. And then we
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: end up winning all the fights. But by week three,
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: there was four or five dudes who would stick around
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: after practice just for us to come in, or they
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: would kind of start coming up to me asking me
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: stuff and then and admit, yeah, man, I think it
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: would have been a lot cooler if we were on
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: your team. You know, it seems like you guys got
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: something going on here. I'm like, yeah, dude, we're a team.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: Dude.
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: These guys got to fight each other, but they love
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: each other, right.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: I made them believe in themselves more than they believed
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: in themselves when they walked through the door. I in
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: my coaching staff, we helped will them into the position
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: that they're and we care. You know. I basically went
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: insane while I was in Las Vegas, absolutely drained. Like
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: you guys said, even if you guys you were tired,
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: we're absolutely drained. And I asked, listen, and I do
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: not admit that I get tired. I don't get tired.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: I don't get sick. These are things that I'd never
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: ever admit, right, It's very important your boy was tired.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Bro.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: When we saw you at the complex, it was like, oh, man, Mike's.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Yeah, let's not go into the house because they were like, hey,
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: we could go and get some shots to you guys
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: at the UFC house and stuff like that, and it
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: was like, ah, Mike, he seems like he doesn't.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: That's the last place he was right, and you guys
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: know I'm always up for that. I would love to
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: bring the boys in and like it would be fun.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: But dude, it was.
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: I spent so much of my time, energy and effort
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: with those guys, so you got to answer your question.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: It was like, yeah, I think there was obviously that
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: the record speaks for itself. You know Brackatona, you know
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: he wins it of course obviously, and switch teams, but
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: he was with my team to begin with, and then
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: I had two of my guys in the finals at
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: one fifty five. But I think being there it was
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: better for me than it was for him.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: I believe.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: I believe that I needed to get around him, size
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: him up, stand tall on my own two feet. Whether
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: I was as good at trash talking as him, or
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: I was, I said a couple of singers, or I did,
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: or I didn't. The confident man standing in your space
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: for a guy like him, who's always got to be
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: the alpha, I don't have to be the loudest to
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: be the alpha.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: He knows on the alpha.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: He he he talks himself into being the alpha. He
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: he stands tall, he puffs his chest out, he's got
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: invisible lat cinnerm. He's probably got risers in his shoes.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: So I mean, I think, uh, I think it was
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: very good for me. And I loved being around him.
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: And I would have been around him a lot longer
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: if I could have, because I would have just constantly
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: been like, hey man.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: So talk talk to me about this, have a little
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: conversation with the you.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Know, soft spoken, soft spoken Kerry big Stick.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: The Uh, last time you were on the show, it
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: was kind of like, what when was that?
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: Was that before?
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Right after or right before you went for Ultimate Fighter?
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: Uh, it was like around.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: This thing was right before, Yeah, right before I went
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: to and.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: You painted a beautiful picture about how this fight would
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: go tire him out in the first round, knock out
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: in the second round. How do you do that? Do
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: you still envision the same structure of the fight or
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: has it changed since you've gotten to know the process
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: a little bit more.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: No, I think it's I think it's still the same.
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: I mean, I mean, I think as much as this
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: sport changes and it gets bigger, it's very very it's
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: very very basic. I think Connor, having come off of
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: this injury, a devastating leg injury, the fact of the
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: matter is, he's not gonna be able to move like
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: the Connor of old. The reason we as an MMA
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: community loved and studied and were mystified by Connor was
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: his movement, his angles, his confidence in the pocket, his
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: confidence to be able to pull back laying that big
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: left hook. He's gonna be slower, he's gonna be sloppier,
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: he's gonna be less motivated, especially at one eighty five.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean, you guys know my my fight style.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: I think I have yea, we gotta we gotta probably talk.
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: About Yeah, we're gonna break that a whole five style down. Yeah,
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: coach coach William coach.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: Here especially all right, boys, we gotta get in his face,
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: keep him second guessing himself.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: Okay, step on the back.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: You're just gonna drop your head, Mike speak.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: We're gonna get in his face.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: We're gonna get in his face, rap your hands and
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: just ask for the matter is Conor McGregor is a quitter. Okay,
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: Connor McGregor is a quitter, especially when the pressure gets
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: put on him. I watched him and Floyd Mayweather yesterday
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: and that was a boxing match.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: Obviously, you look at the Kabiv fight.
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: You look at the you look at the Nate Diaz fight,
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: the Pourier fights. I mean, when he gets pressure put
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: on him, the alpha dog doesn't like the guy who
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: thinks he's the alpha dog doesn't like the pressure because
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: ultimately it's just one big facade that they're trying to
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: make sure that the entire world doesn't out them or
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: doesn't see the real them. The real Connor is a quitter.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: Connor McGregor will quit in the second round of this fight.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: I believe I put the pressure on him. I hit
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: him with hard shots. Maybe he hits me with a couple.
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: I don't go down. He's not gonna be as fast
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: as he used to be. He's not gonna have great
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: timing like he used to be. Maybe he's got the
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: same power, Maybe he doesn't. Man, it's gonna be fun, dude.
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: It's gonna be really, really, really fun. And the wrestling
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: is always going to be there, the submissions are always
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: going to be there. The cage is always going to
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: be there to push him up against and smother him
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: and turn it into a gritty, dirty fight, a cute, little, fun,
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: cute little kind of fight style that he likes that
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: kind of space and that perfect crisp timing, beats precision
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: and precision beats power all.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: At what all that stuff.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: He says, that stuff is just not gonna be there
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: because of his time off outside of the cage, My
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: pressure that I'm gonna put on him, and then the
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: hands that I'm gonna hit him with.
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: That's what that did.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: Hype me up. Let's talk about wrestling.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I don't think we I don't think we should tip
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: anything off, right.
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: We gotta say we're gonna We're gonna want to say,
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: we're gonna do fake high crotch, sweep single pick him up,
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: same on his neck, not too hard because I.
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: Don't want to break the canvas.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: M Yeah, we gotta got.
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: About me fake single, high crotch pick him up, Daniel
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: Cormier style.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: No, I don't know, we'll see. Yeah. I think we
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: we've we've talked about. I think we got a style
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: for you that you might like. We'll talk to We.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Got we gotta we got a couple of things.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we all put our heads together. Get him there.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: We interrupt this episode to bring you Twisted Tea. Twisted

- 1:16:19Speaker 3: twisted tea today. Back to the episode, Yeah, what's better?
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Uh Hiatis or proper proper twelve?
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: Oh dude, Hey, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna talk
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: about anybody else's product. Uh but I've heard some things,
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: but no, I mean, Hiatus. You ever had some proper twelve?
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: I have actually?
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: Uh So, whenever I got the phone call from uh
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: the UFC about the Ultimate Fighter, uh Bree had bought
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: me a little one of the little ones that that
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: day is like, I'm gonna make it with a big
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: old steak and then you know, post about it or whatever.
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: And uh no, yeah, I drank it iris whiskey. I'm
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: an Irish whiskey fan. More of a tequila guy. Okay,
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: Hiatus is head and shoulders above most sequilas, let alone
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: an Irish whiskey.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: Why'd you y, Hiatus? Why'd you get into this past me?
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: The darker one? I think I like that? You that
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: the one? Is this the one? I would like? Well?
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: You like the Repisodo or the I mean the the
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: nyeo is is aged twelve months in uh whiskey barrels,
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: So you're gonna get You're gonna get even more of
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: that kind of oak or whiskey. Your taste with the
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: with the rep with the Yeho, then you will the Repisodo.
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: But the the real test of a good tequila is
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: how good is the blanco?
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: How good is the clear?
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: You know, if you can sip the clear, If you
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: can sip the clear, then it's a good tequila. And
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: the reason our tequila Blanco is is as good as
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: it is is because nice little pop there was because
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: our founder Chris Chris de Soto said he wanted to
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: create a tequila that was intent the way it was
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: tequila was supposed to be intended the way it was
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: supposed to be. So we use only a ripe agaves.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: You can you can you can fast track the process
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: and pull your agaves at five six years so they're
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: not ripe, they're not ready. But then through rectification process
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: you can add glycerins, you can add flavors.
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: There's no vanilla flame.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: For two hours, which a lot of the tequilas these
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: days have and they've changed the palette of the general population.
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: So I was like, smells like Mexico warm, very well versed.
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: No, I mean, I just I like tequila.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: But he got me into mescal. Yeah, mescal.
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: We will do a mescal because yeah, I like that smoke. Man,
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: We're gonna do a We're gonna do the mescal.
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, this I thought we had the I wanted
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: to bring your on camera. This is incredible. Not a
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: lot of bite, not like no bite.
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: Hey, you know what was cool?
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Was at so awesome?
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: Do you know ed my let?
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Yeah? My let? Yea, my let is that. Hey.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: I know Mitch probably wants to go ahead and give
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: Mitchell give him half the bottle, but ed, go ahead, buddy,
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: have some ed.
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: I I texted him, I said, hey, I'm gonna send
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: you that's a little harder for me.
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll be a little Blancos are gonna be gonna
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: be there's more like, let's got less flavor. That's more
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: like I come here form of tequila.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so I come from the I like foul of ude,
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: I sip that on the rocks. I come from a
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: school of I had a very bad experience. Yeah, when
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: I was young, and that my journey back. You were
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: truly like the mezcal like kind of having that smoky flavor,
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: that darker tequila. It's kind of like the lane on
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: me because it was it was always hard to even
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: smell tequila.
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: Dude, I was the same way.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Because that's what we all do, right, it's our first
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: our first experience of tequila is I'm not going to
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: say names because I obviously own this when I get
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: in trouble, But like the ones that we all know
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: from the well, from the well, you take it and
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: it's like no, no.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: Michael Chandler doesn't like the rock.
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: No, I love the rock.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Tadler hates the.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Dude, I love the rocks. Tequila I got. I have
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: a bottle at my house, and I own you.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: On first day in Basis with the Rock.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: We follow each other on Instagram.
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: I'll send him a message.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: We are boys, yeah, you know.
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: But anyways, the best thing happened ed my lett friend
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: of mine. I. I was like, hey, I'm gonna send you.
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: I say hey, Dad, because I call him Dad because
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: people think we kind of look like whatever, Okay, yeah
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: we might eat no, But I was like, hey, I'm
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: sending you some tequila.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: So he he does a video of he was drinking
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: the Repisado and he's like, guys, I got sent a
- 1:20:18Speaker 5: bunch of whiskeys and tequilas and all that kind of
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: stuff for Christmas. Who sent this, Hiatus? Because I don't
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: know who sent it. You didn't put your name on it.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: But I just drank it. It's the best tequila I've
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: ever had in my life. And my friend, who is
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: a big tequila kind of sewer, she just said it's
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: the best tequila she's ever had.
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: In her entire life.
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: So if anybody knows who Hiatus is, if anybody knows
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: who sent me this, please DM me let me know.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: I send him my message. I'm like, hey, dude, like
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: that was that was me?
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: I told you I was sending Hiatus look at our
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: text like from four texts to go, and he's like,
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: oh my gosh.
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: So then he went out to dinner. I blow him
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: up on text.
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: He comes back and he's like, oh my gosh, guys, Okay,
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: now I figured out who sent me the tequila. So
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: that was like the best non biased reaction that I
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: ever could have asked for and the highest.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: People see in on it.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Now he is not, but you rest as your I
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: mean anything I do business wise, I talked to Ed
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: about whether it be him his him wanting to invest,
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: come on board, bring other people, strategic partners. Hiatus is
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: definitely something I'm going to hound him about. And obviously
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: he likes the product. The first sale is always to yourself.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Do you love the product? You believe in what you're saying.
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: So he likes it, so we'll see that's good stuff.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: It is good.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: Would you into the rest pacide, Let me see that
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: smooth right, bring it back over here. Let let me

- 1:21:34Speaker 4: he'll do it.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: I know I saw it whenever I grabbed that out
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: of my truck. I saw Mitch walk out of the
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: other side of the the compound.
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: Guys, there's no vanilla on this No, it has a
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: billa smell to it.
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: Well, you're probably get you, so you're probably getting some
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: of the wood smell of the wood smells from the
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: oak pearls.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: That's good, you can get a little.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: It's it's gonna be near as harsh as the blanco.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: But I feel like the blanco is not harsh at all.
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: Harsh, but just compared to that one.
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: Yeah, compare comparing apples to apples. If you compare our blanco,
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: that's just what tequila tastes like compared to the other blancos.
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: That's gonna be a little bit more harsh than this
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: because it gets a little bit more. I guess masked
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: slash changed by the woods.
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: Passion in your body. Let me just now, I'm gonna
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: get you.

- 1:22:36Speaker 3: What is that?
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: We explain that?
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: What is that? I don't know what it was?
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: Is that why your reaction the other night, you like
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: you were like, oh yeah, I thought.
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: It was whatever you want to do, do what you want, brother.
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: Dude, Hey, and I'm out of the loop. I had
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: no idea about the who had it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Was that?
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: No.
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: I was just like, well, Mike really just doesn't.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Watch Yeah, I really don't.

- 1:23:52Speaker 6: in there.
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: And then yeah, there was easily ten twenty minutes where
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: I would just check out and just be just easier

- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Usually like, uh, I'm all over the place.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: What about a time in your life where you felt
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: like you're watching movies a lot? College? Because I would
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: like to get something maybe in college, Claus. All right,
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: let's have a couple of conversations, so I can think
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: of a good one.
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: All right, I got one?
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: You got one?
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I got one. I'll give you the genre. It's

- 1:25:43Speaker 4: the other Hitler youth cult classic movie chat. Answer it chat,
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: You're not gonna get it. What was the question before?
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: I wouldn't think so.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: I don't think someone asked like, hey, who was there?
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: Huh did someone ask he who was there?
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: Guy gets beat up in a hotel room, comes back
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: to the house he lives at with a bunch of
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: guys and they ask what happened? Hey, order what happened?
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: Cult Classic? Y'all get that with the otter That might
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: be too young for it too.
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: I'm great movie though, right, I messed.
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: With the names, but that wasn't the point. You would
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: still got its. Animal House, Lamon's Animal House. That's one
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: of my favorite comedies of all time.
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: I never seen.
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: Every time you watch it, it gets better. You've never seen it,
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: I've seen it.
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: I've seen it. What's it about?
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: A frat house? A frat house with Jim Belushi, John
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: Belushi is what is it called?
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: What was the movie?
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: When you said Jim Belushi, I really thought it's definitely
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: John But maybe I'm wrong.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: It's good, I know, but it's like an older no
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: man that bums me out too, because yeah, it's one
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: of those things where I feel like I've seen so
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: many different scenes from I've never I don't know if
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: I've actually sat there. How about somebody was asking how
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: he got this this vehicle, and the response was, I
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: know some people that know, some people that rob some people.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I feel like you should get this one.
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: Yeah I should because I know I as soon as
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: you said the quote, I knew it, but just gave
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: me a second.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Is it any town? No, you're out, Mike, you are out?
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: Four brothers, yea departed. It's one of those Boston movies.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: No, no, Yeah, it's a comedy. There we go. It's
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: a comedy. It's a unique one. I know.
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: Any guys back there, Hey, hey, a black guy says it?
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: Right? Yeah, okay, I did. I was thinking like I
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: felt like this this should be one that test Taylor,
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: but he might be able to pull off.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: I want to ask more questions, but this is more
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: of my journey.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: Now ask a couple of questions.
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: Any one is it in the two thousands this movie
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: came out?
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: Yes, there's the chat. Got it?
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: You know it?
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Text me, text it to me.
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: I want to look at my phone so that This
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: is the worst feeling when you know it but you
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: can't get it out. I'm failing myself side character. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: I know. Is it a cult classic movie?
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: I don't know if you know that far, but yeah, yes,
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: is there nine of them? You said it's cult classic?
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: I mean yeah, I mean there's I feel like if
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: we if, if we, if we tip this part off,
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: it really narrows it down to what it could be.
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: Though, Jacob, I don't think I'm gonna get it, So
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: go and tip that part off and see if I
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: can connect the dots.
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: It's like it's a cult classic because it's like a remake.
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: You're gonna be I'm so upset. I'm already.
- 1:28:46Speaker 5: Man, is it Jamie Fox, who says it no, oh.
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: Yes, no it is horrible bosses no, no, starts getting hutched.

- 1:29:03Speaker 3: how did you get your hands on.
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: This pretty sure. Jamie Foxx says that in Horrible Bosses.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: I think that was more like sitting in. They hired that,
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: hired him to be that fan, right, Yeah, and he
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: never was the hit man.
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a good one. Hey, that was a good one.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: You got Mike this no, no, no.

- 1:29:24Speaker 5: playing a cool game?
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: Yeah, this really went off the rails.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: Connor McGregor, Michael Chandler.
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: What I've gotten from this podcast is Connor's maybe probably
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: not Yes, he is could be in your head. Ireland
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: hates Connor and loves you. Connor is a weak minded
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: individual that doesn't like the fight being brought to him.
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: You're a if you were to place you guys both
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: at one eighty five where neither one of you have
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: to cut weight the work ethic wins with Michael Chandler.
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: Connor McGregor thinks he has more pull in the UFC
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: than he actually does. Did I nail the five pillars
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: of this podcast?
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: It was the sixth pillar.
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: If we were both on a battlefield back in the day,
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: He's going to fight to the death.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: Like final scene the walk, the chambers are empty, grave heart. Yeah,
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: I starts stripping down the gray.
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: Yeah, the gray tap taping your I have not seen
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: that movie, but I saw that scene and I got
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: hard watching the only scene. Dude, he starts taping looking
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: at the with the wolf right, so it's looking at
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: the wolf. I was like, oh my god, I gotta
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: watch this this film.
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: Have you seen the mine?
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: Mm? Hmm the mine?
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: This podcast is so funny.
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: Mine the military guy walks into a minefield. He puts
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: his foot on a mine and he can't take his
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: foot off.
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: You never even saw the trailer you're talking about about Kingsman.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: You remember that scene, like because he tells her like
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: just go.
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: He starts seeing West Virginia that song that goes hard
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: to scene like is a series of movies that is
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: underrated so good. I feel not enough people talk about them?
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Are they?
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: Because I thought the origin story it was a little
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: long winded for me. But the first two with Eggsy
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: have you seen those movies? They are English English people.
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: They're the ones we beat to get our own country.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: That's who you're wondering. Yeah, but they got those guys
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: weren't there because we probably would have lost. Yeah, these
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: dudes would have beat our ass. I don't know because
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: in the second one, I'm not gonna go with spoilers.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: No spoilers, spoilers. Great. The question brought to us by
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: Twisted Tea, the best hard iced tea in the game.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: You know, whether you're celebrating, you know, Easter, tailgating, whatever
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: the occasion, Twisted Te's got it all. Keep it twisted
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: with Twisted with the Twisted Kings kick off, You're twenty
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: twenty four with Twisted Tea today. This question comes to
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: us from Mitch from the Internet.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: I got I got one cooking in my head too.
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: I think yeah, we twisted question, Yeah, I think so.
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: We might I have I have a if it.
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: Sucks, throw it in there.
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: Yeah, well all right, it'll definitely be better than track record.
- 1:32:06Speaker 8: Might prove that to be right. We've kind of done
- 1:32:12Speaker 8: one sort of along these lines. Would you rather go
- 1:32:15Speaker 8: through life unable to forget anything ever? Or go through
- 1:32:19Speaker 8: life unable to remark to remember anything.
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: That's a terrible question. I would want to go through
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: life never be able to forget anything ever.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: This is so hard that it's hard. But when you
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: read a question like that from the Internet, you don't
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: just think to yourself This is a ridiculous question.
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: Is anybody taking you forget everything?
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: Would you rather have an incredible memory or a ship memory?
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: This is our twisted tea question.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: Bro, that's the worst one.
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: That's the most.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: You say the day.
- 1:32:53Speaker 9: Like you JP, if you could ask a question about
- 1:32:58Speaker 9: your future and have it answered, what would it be?
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: Good question? Great question? If you'd asked a question about
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: your future, what would it be?
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: Answer? Uses his brain just a little bit.
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: You mentioned we know your family watches the show.
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: I feel like this is deeper rooted than it just
- 1:33:28Speaker 8: me having bad questions. You're just trying to ship on me.
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: No, he just said it your family's watching. We gotta
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: put on a show for him. I know your family's
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: at home right now, and be like they're right. Probably
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: better questions than that.
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: I thought you told you're you know what. This is
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: on your parents and your grandmother and your aunt whoever
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: was not.
- 1:33:47Speaker 5: This is not on that. This blame on If they
- 1:33:49Speaker 5: really watch.
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: The show, they're gonna start sending you twisted questions in
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: your part. Really watch this show, you need some They're
- 1:33:55Speaker 4: gonna start sending it. Because I'm putting I'm putting the
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: pressure on the entire Carsley family.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: Now bless your swee grandma too. You know what she's saying, like,
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: we have to stop allowing him to drag our names. Stop.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: Stop he's already dead.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:34:06Speaker 6: When she when she heard you ask that question, she's.
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: Like, oh yeah, Mitchell, Mitchell, Mitchell, No, Mitchie Bear. Come on.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: Even after all that, you still don't think that was
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: a bad question.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: So why did you ask?
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: Do it on purpose?
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: Hey, your dad's so disappointed right now.
- 1:34:28Speaker 8: Man, My dad probably thinks you guys are being so serious.
- 1:34:32Speaker 8: Right now we are like and like actually shitting on
- 1:34:35Speaker 8: me because he does not know how like humor works,
- 1:34:38Speaker 8: give and take humor works.
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: I want to be clear, we are having fun and
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: we are also shitting on him.
- 1:34:49Speaker 6: What question would you have the answer to?
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not intake.
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I was too busy. I was too busy.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: You might have a really good one. No, No, I
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: know your answer JP.
- 1:35:01Speaker 4: I don't want JP because it's gonna be really good.
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna want to take it.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: No.
- 1:35:05Speaker 9: I mean I've heard like several different different answers from
- 1:35:07Speaker 9: people that I like. Like one one is like, uh,
- 1:35:16Speaker 9: are my kids going to be okay?
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: Like am I going to have to bury my kid? Yeah,
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: I wouldn't want to. I'm I would not want to
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: ask answer that question.
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: I more so thought am I going to be around? Yeah,
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: as my you know, kid, kids get.
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: Older, because that because that could be like they could
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: get we don't even want to talk about it could
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: be very soon or very you would you would have
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: wished that, you would have worried so much is today
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: going to be the day?
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Part of me? I want to ask a personal question
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: about myself more just because of the fear of if
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: you get that answer and it's like, am I gonna
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: outlive my kids? Essentially what you asked?
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: And they know everything's officially changed like that, even just
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: saying that out loud.
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a very fair point.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's the good thing knowing that information.
- 1:36:01Speaker 9: I would honestly go no, not that it happens, but
- 1:36:05Speaker 9: knowing like and I do think you carry yourself how
- 1:36:08Speaker 9: you should be carrying yourself.
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: But every day knowing the answer, every day you're thinking
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: is this today? Because you all you know is because
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: I'm sure it's like a it's like a genie thing,
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: like you can you have three wishes, which would be
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: very detailed about your wish. You can't just get so
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: I had to start to with the lights starting on.
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: Those lights really messed me up. I wish I had
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: a great memory all the time, Mitch. But yeah, I
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: would want. I would honestly go away from the family
- 1:36:34Speaker 4: thing because having it be a mystery, the good of
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: the answer would take would not be as good as
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: how bad it would be. Fuck. Well said, that's really good, Tequila.
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: I'm banged up right now.
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: You no, I feel you on asking that. That would
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: terrify me to ask a personal question.
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: I'm actually that thanks me happy we did that.
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: Though, I like a really hard question because then I
- 1:36:59Speaker 5: started thinking, I'm like, well, okay, let's just say, since
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: we talked about this fight, Okay, what if I just
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: knew the outcome of this fight?
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:37:04Speaker 5: So then you're like, okay, well I'm gonna win, So
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: then I just do everything right. But if all of
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: a sudden the answer is like, no, sorry, You're gonna lose,
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: and you're like, screw it, I'm not gonna train.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: Yeah, right where you trained, But you just know, like
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: I got nothing to lose, I'm going to lose. That's
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: a hard question. Because that's a while like zone but
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: fuck it?
- 1:37:19Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly for sure. Wait and you're good. Yeah, they're like,
- 1:37:22Speaker 5: wait a second, we just broke the continuum and.
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: That's a good enough as so where you wouldn't put
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: everything into that.
- 1:37:32Speaker 9: I will the Empire of America be around in fifty years?
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: Oh? That would be one. You already knew that one.
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: You just thought of it.
- 1:37:41Speaker 6: I just thought of that.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we got.
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: A picky brains beautiful that's a good one.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: So you guys voting for did you have the camera
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: back on JP when he said that? Do it again, JP?
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: So we have the clip? No, look at us though,
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: look at us? Okay, JP? If you thought of one?
- 1:37:59Speaker 9: Yeah, will the Empire of America be around in fifty years?
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: Oh that's a good, good one.
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: That's a good one.
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: Don't cut any of that match?
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: Yeah that was the show. Why just be our voices
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: while the camera is still on JP. And I just kidding.
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: Oh you're drunk?
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: You are drunk? Are you buzzing?
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: You're the one.
- 1:38:23Speaker 6: I'm not that drunk.
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: What are we talking about?
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: On hiatus?
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: Boys?
- 1:38:27Speaker 4: I am, I am after this show. I'm calling your parents.
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: I got to I got to.
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: You gotta put us on FaceTime with them?
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, what is the question you would.
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: Ask JP's.
- 1:38:41Speaker 6: Does everybody do one?
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: That's usually the goal, but you more like that's why
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: JP said, I don't know if it's like for the segment.
- 1:38:48Speaker 3: Usually they're that quicker, funnier, deep.
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: I like the one where it's like, hey, would you
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: fart once a year? Would you poop your pants every day?
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: What was it?
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: Like one of those deals that was a good one?
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: You've had some solid tell her that. My thought why
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: I reacted the way I did is you are now
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: taking the time to read questions from the internet, so
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: you in your mind get to think, to get the filter,
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: is this a good or bad one? And you had
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: the audacity to think, oh, this might be one that hits.
- 1:39:17Speaker 8: Are there things that you wouldn't want?
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: Like if you if you do not.
- 1:39:21Speaker 5: Have any memory, you're like a goldfish.
- 1:39:23Speaker 8: You just kind of you're living every day to its
- 1:39:25Speaker 8: fullest and you just don't know anything different. But if
- 1:39:27Speaker 8: you have a very very good memory, it's like you
- 1:39:31Speaker 8: don't forget a single thing, and that could be like
- 1:39:34Speaker 8: a lot you don't want to remember some sort of
- 1:39:36Speaker 8: like certain things.
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: Hey, would you rather be have photographic memory or be
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: ten second? Tom from fifty First Dates?
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: I was thinking of him too.
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: Yeah, just bro, Hey, you know what it is. You're
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: too close. You're too close situations. You need to zoom
- 1:39:52Speaker 4: out a little bit. I'm looking out the window almost
- 1:39:57Speaker 4: there's a camera on.
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: You look at the going on out there. You have
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: a question that you'd ask.
- 1:40:05Speaker 4: I would ask, I would ask, I would ask.
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: The Cornhuskers won a national championship in football? That was
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: mine for the next.
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: You need to change the word have to will Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: because you say have they say yeah they How.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: Many championships has Nebraska football won in the next twenty years?
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: Bro, if he's just like zero, because now it's a genie,
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: just gets.
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: Out of there, you see zero.
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: This mine would be what is the next startup going
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: on right now? That will be a fortune five hundred company?
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: Fuck right? You picked yours though you can't go back your.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: Hell yeah, oh just god damn.
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: But you know every year like maybe this is the
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: year they lose, not this year, a whole another year
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: that would be mine. You can't take it, Mike.
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: You know what I would do? I would go in
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: along the lines of trying to live as long as
- 1:41:14Speaker 5: you can. I would say the answer to the question,
- 1:41:18Speaker 5: what exact the question supplement food protocol?
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: Can I be on? Take right now?
- 1:41:25Speaker 5: That makes me live the longest?
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: Stay away from I liked it. Stay away from stay
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: away from fighting would probably be the answer from the genie.
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: Then out of there.
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: Hell yeah, I wouldn't stop. They give you the protocol.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: But what if you just still catch like a heart
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: attack like sixties or seven, you wouldn't but live the longest.
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: But what if your expirations they'd still like, let's say eighty.
- 1:41:51Speaker 5: Three, then you just that's when you expire.
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: You know what I wouldn't be afraid of is knowing
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: when I would die. I don't think I would be
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: really scared of that. If I'm like, honey, when would
- 1:42:01Speaker 4: I die? That like six years from nine to be
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: like cool, I had six years to meet most of
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: this or you die when you're ninety. He was like,
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: I can get I get some I can neglect some
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: other relationships right now, I can get back to that
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: For JP was kind of getting at because you're like,
- 1:42:11Speaker 5: you live life to the fullest, but it's it's much
- 1:42:14Speaker 5: better if it's yourself instead of talking about your yeah
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: going James.
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: Oh nice, kind of like it? Dude, Wow, dude, you
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: must yeah, all right, I have one cooking in my brain,
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: but it's not like fully developed yet, but it's a
- 1:42:39Speaker 4: it's a would you rather? And it has to do
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: with this fight. Obviously you got one. Would you rather
- 1:42:48Speaker 4: ko connor McGregor and win your next three fights to
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: get the belt? Or if that went on? No, with
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: your article, with the article, where you are?
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: This the development, This is.
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: Where we're at. But if all those things happen, Will
- 1:43:10Speaker 4: and Taylor lose our podcast and go financially broke or
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: vice versa. You lose this fight and you're done forever.
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: But we crush it.
- 1:43:26Speaker 5: Dang, dude, that's tough, bro, how you guys?
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: It sucks when you're on that side.
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: Isn't it? Michigan?
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: Exactly what it is like the Michigan?
- 1:43:34Speaker 6: Uh, I gotta go with Uh.
- 1:43:38Speaker 5: Listen, you guys can I will help you rebuild after
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: I go k O'Connor win that title and we got
- 1:43:45Speaker 5: everything that we ever wanted to need it. Okay, we'll
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: get a bigger bus.
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: We don't need a bigger bus.
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: We'll get a smaller bus. We don't get more fun perfect.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: We don't want this bus. I gotta go with myself.
- 1:43:57Speaker 5: Boys.
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: Hey, that's the right call.
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the call. And I hedged my bet with
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: my genie wesh too, so I'm gonna.
- 1:44:03Speaker 3: Be yeah there see that he got my bet with
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: my genie.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: Will No, we will know that Nebraska is either one
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: or lost match the championship in twenty years.
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: Well, put me back in bonterre, dude, find a way
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: scratching claw. Yeah, throw me back in the flood man.
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: Will Compton head coach Bontaire high.
- 1:44:26Speaker 6: Oh was yours?
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: JP?
- 1:44:27Speaker 9: If you could exist in any of like your childhood
- 1:44:31Speaker 9: favorite TV shows or movies, which would you choose to
- 1:44:33Speaker 9: exist in?
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: And there's so many, so many.
- 1:44:37Speaker 4: Imagine being part of the rocket power career.
- 1:44:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that wouldn't be being a power ranger.
- 1:44:42Speaker 9: Imagining the lifeguard at the Goolagoon in bikini bottom.
- 1:44:48Speaker 3: No, imagine hanging with with Doug and Skeeter.
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: Dude Arnold and uh Aerold.
- 1:44:56Speaker 6: Imagine being a c slater, being a rug rat.
- 1:45:01Speaker 4: I don't know about that one. I don't know about that.
- 1:45:03Speaker 4: I don't like that.
- 1:45:04Speaker 5: I want a Slater wrestling champion at Bayside High or
- 1:45:08Speaker 5: whatever it was.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: Dude, Johnny Bravo, you.
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: Said animated shows any childhood Barney, Dude, don't come on.
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I would for sure, like Trainer, that's my pick.
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: Less something else better comes up, But right now that's
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: my pick. No, no, unless something comes up. Pokemon's a
- 1:45:30Speaker 4: great pick. Yeah, it's all, But I feel like there's
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: one out there.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Goonies, rocket Power would be a lot of.
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: What about dragon ball Z being a beast be yours
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: over the lifeguard of the Goolagoon to choose.
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: Like what kind of character you are?
- 1:45:43Speaker 9: I guess yeah, yeah, But like if I'm in dragon
- 1:45:47Speaker 9: ball Z, I'm for sure saying.
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: You don't. But you don't get to choose, or you
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: do get to shoes, but you can't be the main character.
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: I'm cool with that, m are you?
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't want.
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: To like part of the superheroes like DC Universe or
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: something part of the Justice League.
- 1:46:13Speaker 6: Who would you be?
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: Whose right hand man? Would you be?
- 1:46:17Speaker 3: Be?
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Batman's butler hand man?
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: Which is is like does he have any editor at
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: his news company?
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: Get weak around Kryptonite? I thrive around Kryptonite. I'm like
- 1:46:28Speaker 3: my more like, I'm obviously weaker in less than him
- 1:46:31Speaker 3: in every area. The more we get around Ryptonite switches.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: Yeah, super duper Knight, super duper man.
- 1:46:37Speaker 5: I like the I like the Alfred. I like the
- 1:46:38Speaker 5: Alfred idea dude, just Alfred.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: Yeah, live in a dope mansion. You gotta wake up
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: a little earlier and get him some coffee. But he's
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: always out, he's always sleeping.
- 1:46:47Speaker 5: Always get to have the satisfaction of constantly talking to
- 1:46:52Speaker 5: him like, hey, dude, you need to quit this.
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: You're gonna die eventually.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: Yeah, you're kind of a voice of reason, the voice
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: of reason.
- 1:47:00Speaker 9: As you being a South Park character.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: You look like.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: That's a good one. What would y'all be in the back?
- 1:47:11Speaker 7: I mean rock Power would definitely. I wish I had
- 1:47:14Speaker 7: more original thought, But yeah, what about Uh, there's been
- 1:47:18Speaker 7: a more conflict in that show. Like when you pick
- 1:47:20Speaker 7: a dragon ball Z or something or Pokemon, you're risking
- 1:47:24Speaker 7: your life being in this show. You realize that, like
- 1:47:26Speaker 7: the Trainers don't all live in Pokemon, people die?
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: What about Harry Potter Wars?
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: But those are risk for dying quite often in these
- 1:47:36Speaker 7: What did you have to be a cartoon risking dying
- 1:47:39Speaker 7: and Harry Potter in Star Wars Wars Box. Yeah, I'm
- 1:47:43Speaker 7: thinking strictly TV shows are now. I'm not expanding my
- 1:47:46Speaker 7: my mind on the movies.
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: Well Star Wars Clone Wars on Disney.
- 1:47:51Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that play is still risking death. You're an adult.
- 1:47:57Speaker 3: It's over.
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: You were you were an adult when that show came
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: out though. Even't like that, did you? No, just slicked
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: away from me.
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: I just ignored it, hoping nobody else heard it. The
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: Jedi powers away from me?
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: Done gone? All right?
- 1:48:15Speaker 3: Yeah for all the Fight fans that are still sticking
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: around currently, like is far from the course. This is
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: busting with the boys. Just got a little he's one
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: of the boys, Like, how many times you've been on here?
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: Six seven? Really?
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: Oh yeah there's the co host.
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: And can we look at that boys?
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, hell yes.
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: You're the most lenyard Busting with the Boys guests.
- 1:48:37Speaker 6: I want to break a record.
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: What episode were you the first time you came on?
- 1:48:42Speaker 5: Like ten, it was early, it was it was yeah,
- 1:48:45Speaker 5: it was early, it was hot, it was hot.
- 1:48:49Speaker 3: Ike came on then uh gym right yeah, and then.
