John 17:26 “and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." God’s love for His Son resides in us because He resides in us. This is only possible because of what Jesus told His disciples and then displayed on the cross. He made known God’s name, the name of love, to that small band of followers. So they knew His name by words first, and they believed them.
