- 0:16Everybody, welcome to Duster Club.
- 0:18Welcome to the daily UFD live stream.
- 0:21And we are continuing our series of Dusters around the world.
- 0:24Today we're joined by Brandon Arnold.
- 0:27He's from the country of Texas here in the United States.
- 0:30And if there's one guy who's walked literally 100 miles for
- 0:35UFD, it's Brandon. He does a a daily walk and a
- 0:39great message of a personal growth spirituality.
- 0:43Before I go on too much longer, Brandon, welcome to Ron's Bay,
- 0:46welcome to UFD Duster Club. How are you doing today?
- 0:50I'm doing very well, Ron. Thank you.
- 0:52I appreciate you having me on today.
- 0:55Well, it's a big honor man, because I think every single day
- 0:59you bring a smile to my face and I know to the community as well
- 1:02with your your daily walk. So the big pressing question is,
- 1:06have you gone for your daily walk yet today?
- 1:09No, not yet. And this morning it was 28° so I
- 1:14I try to let it warm up just a little bit before I get out
- 1:18there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:20And, and you do it every single day.
- 1:24I guess give us some history and we'll talk about UFD and, and
- 1:27what got you into UFDA little bit down the road.
- 1:29But, but what, what prompted you to start this?
- 1:32Because it's become like you're a legend now in the UFD
- 1:35community. What prompted you to to do this
- 1:37everyday and share that with us? Well, first of all, legend seems
- 1:42like a very strong word, but I'll, I'll, I'll take it.
- 1:45I'll, I'll be appreciative of that.
- 1:47What, what got me started, man, I've always, I go for walks.
- 1:52I, I take King, my dog, take him for a walk.
- 1:55And you know, I'd go in the mornings and sometimes I go in
- 1:59the evenings. Right now, I don't go as much
- 2:01with the shorter days and all that.
- 2:03But no, I, I, I go out and I don't know what prompted me to
- 2:10do it. I, I can still remember the day
- 2:13I, I was walking down the street and I thought, man, what can I
- 2:17do to to be a part of the contribute?
- 2:22And it was I, I, I was wearing my, my, my shirt that I received
- 2:30from, I think it was OX Dobbs whenever I got duster the day
- 2:35and it said, I believe in unicorns.
- 2:37And I thought, man, I got to get over my fear of getting out
- 2:42there and putting myself out there.
- 2:46And I just simply said, I believe in unicorns.
- 2:51How about you or something like that.
- 2:53And, and that was it. And I got a positive response.
- 2:56And I don't know, that gave me the confidence to do it the next
- 3:01time and the next time and just kind of kept on going with it.
- 3:05Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I live stream every day
- 3:08and I know that you've been doing this for every day for at
- 3:12least what, 100 days, 150 days, maybe longer.
- 3:15Have you? Have you?
- 3:16Outed sometime in July. I don't I don't know when it
- 3:20was, but yeah, it was it was July and yeah, it was it was
- 3:25after the the meet up and all of that so but yeah, every day I
- 3:31mean, whether, whether I'm here at home.
- 3:34I originally I was doing I was walking around the streets and
- 3:38here in my neighborhood and I had a little three mile, you
- 3:43know, jaunt that I do in the mornings and then I thought,
- 3:47well, this is a little bit boring.
- 3:49I, I need to, you know, step outside a little more and
- 3:53there's a trail not far from the house.
- 3:55And it also helped me with my, my distance.
- 3:58I, I walk about four miles each morning.
- 4:00So yeah, I go down to the, to the local trail and do that.
- 4:04And, you know, I do it sometimes when, well, I, I do it all the
- 4:09time. I mean, I've done it up in, up
- 4:12in New Mexico when I go up there.
- 4:14I, I did it when we went on a family cruise for, for
- 4:18Christmas. I did it on the the deck of the
- 4:20boat, kind of. Where I'm going to interject.
- 4:23I remember because I commented on that one and I said that I
- 4:26was very jealous. So.
- 4:31Well, it was that, that was interesting because I kind of
- 4:35thought I'm not going to pay for the, the Wi-Fi service or
- 4:39whatever they have there on the boat.
- 4:40And I hear you after the first day of trying to upload, you
- 4:46know, I, I was like, all right, I got to, I got to figure this
- 4:48out and make it work. I was on a roll.
- 4:51So I didn't want to, I didn't want to break my streak.
- 4:53Yeah, yeah. Well, you know, I get it.
- 4:55Like I said, I've live streamed every day for I think it'll be 4
- 4:59years this February or created first.
- 5:02I started making videos everyday.
- 5:05So I've either made a video or live streamed or both every day
- 5:08for four years on vacation, you know, and I know the discipline
- 5:14that that takes. And before we talk about that, I
- 5:17want to touch on something you said earlier, because I
- 5:19appreciate you showing your human side to our audience that,
- 5:24that there was maybe a little fear, right?
- 5:26I mean, I don't think people realize that turning on a camera
- 5:32and shooting video of yourself may look easy, but there's
- 5:37actually you're involved and you know, in in the mind can go to
- 5:40all kinds of places. Talk a little bit about that.
- 5:43And, and what now it's been 6 months.
- 5:45I'm curious, like from your perspective, has it gotten
- 5:48easier? Has it, is it, is it, You know,
- 5:52they always say like on the other side of fear are where a
- 5:55lot of good things happen. And I, I will stop rambling here
- 5:58in one second, but I want to point out that you are doing
- 6:00good things, right? Like you're #1 you're going for
- 6:03a walk, which is good for you, right?
- 6:05I go for little walks. I don't quite go 3 miles most
- 6:08every day. But on top of that, while you're
- 6:10walking, you're, you're delivering really.
- 6:14And they're great little, you know, one minute, 1 1/2 minute,
- 6:17sometimes 2 minute videos where you're, you're giving people
- 6:20like good spiritual advice, good life advice.
- 6:25I don't know how to really sum it up, but just the stuff that
- 6:28we all maybe don't have the courage, especially as guys to
- 6:33talk about a lot of time that we all deal with.
- 6:36And with that, I'll go back to my question about fear.
- 6:39Did did did it get easier for you over time?
- 6:43Yes, it's, it's definitely gotten easier.
- 6:45I mean, you know, I, I think it's human nature that we, we
- 6:51all just want to be accepted. We, we, yeah, we want to be
- 6:55accepted. And I think that for me was the,
- 6:59the biggest fear. I mean, you know, looking goofy
- 7:02on camera or whatever. It doesn't really matter to me.
- 7:06I mean, look at me. I'm, I'm a 52 year old man.
- 7:08I got long hair. I got a long beard.
- 7:10I'm not overly concerned about that.
- 7:13I go out there some mornings that, you know, I haven't hadn't
- 7:16gotten in the shower yet. And my hair is kind of Willy
- 7:19nilly and all of that. But you know that to get back to
- 7:23your question, does it has it gotten easier?
- 7:26Yes, it's gotten a lot easier. I I finally, I kind of, I, I
- 7:33don't know, I, I feel good about these videos.
- 7:37I, I feel like they're bringing, I don't know, peace, harmony, I
- 7:41don't know what it is, maybe just a little good feeling to
- 7:44people's lives each day. And that's, that's, that's all
- 7:48I've ever wanted to do is just bring joy to people's lives.
- 7:52And so I don't know, it's, it's got, it's gotten easier because
- 7:58the community supported me and it, it's given me the
- 8:02confidence. I actually, I, I do, I post a
- 8:06video on on Instagram now and, and on Facebook just, you know,
- 8:12I, I don't know, I feel like it's something good for people.
- 8:15And I don't know, maybe I'm delusional but.
- 8:18I'll tell you what, I'll tell you.
- 8:21Yes, we all, I, I always say that we're all crazy, right?
- 8:24Everybody in this world is a little bit crazy, but what I
- 8:28thought of as you were talking is you.
- 8:30What you're doing every day is like a little light bulb going
- 8:33on in the world, bringing some brightness, bringing some
- 8:37insight, bringing some. You use the word peace, harmony,
- 8:42acceptance, right? You're showing your human side
- 8:45to people and, and that's what people want, right, is to feel.
- 8:49I, I guarantee you, Brandon, there are people I know there's
- 8:52people that feel connected to me and to me.
- 8:54That's a big honor. And I say that with the utmost
- 8:56of humility. I know that people feel
- 8:59connected within the UFD community, right?
- 9:02Friendships, emotional bonds, however you want to say it.
- 9:05But I also know that there's people out there that feel
- 9:09connected to you everyday. You know, I always joke, I mean,
- 9:12I feel like I'm on, I'm on a little walk with you every day.
- 9:16And that's, and that's bringing some, you know, some, some
- 9:20goodness to the world. And you know, I think, and you
- 9:24said this earlier, right, like the people of the world, I think
- 9:27it's universal. I was talking with Vincent
- 9:30yesterday, the bully industry, who he travels everywhere in the
- 9:34world and I confirmed with him and I've traveled quite a bit
- 9:37myself. Like, I don't care where you go.
- 9:40I mean any corner of this planet.
- 9:42I think most people, most, the vast majority of people are
- 9:46really good, want to just be accepted and kind of just want
- 9:49all the same things together. And, and So what you're doing
- 9:54every day, and I'll repeat it in my mind, you're, you're part of
- 9:57the, the little, the, the, the good side.
- 10:00Turning a little light on for everybody is good for our
- 10:03community, but is good in general for, for for what's
- 10:07going on in the world right now. 100% I, I, I, I, I don't know.
- 10:13One of the things that it has attracted me to, to UFD is has
- 10:18been you, of course, in the, the community.
- 10:22I, I feel like I share a lot of things with you, a lot of, you
- 10:26know, philosophy, philosophical approaches.
- 10:29And one of those is believing in the good in the world and in the
- 10:35good and people. And I believe that the majority
- 10:39of the people are, are good, you know, they, they everybody may
- 10:45not be giving something yet. They want to.
- 10:49They just maybe they don't know how to give it.
- 10:51And I don't know that that's, yeah, the, the world, the
- 10:57world's a lot better place than a lot of times that we see on TV
- 11:02or, you know, wherever It's a, it's a good place to be.
- 11:06Yeah, on, on TV, that's a great, that's a great example because
- 11:10on TV you and I right now could, I could switch over to CNN, pull
- 11:14it up on the screen or, or any of the major news.
- 11:17All we're really probably going to see are the bad things going
- 11:21on in the world right now, right.
- 11:24So with Web 3. No, I don't know what happened
- 11:53wrong. Well,
- 12:21I'm not sure what happened here. Hey, guys, I think we're still
- 18:58live. Hey, hold on a second.
- 19:00I don't know what happened there.
- 19:02Susie, can you let me know if you can see me on the on the
- 19:06screen over? OK, I'm sorry.
- 19:07I'm relaunching, OK? I think everybody, hey, if you
- 19:13guys can see me and hear me, please leave A5.
- 19:16OK, Brandon's here, Brandon. I didn't.
- 19:22I didn't go back and enter the studio, man.
- 19:26I think we're live, by the way. Oh sweet.
- 19:29OK, Yeah, I think, OK, we're back, baby.
- 19:33Yeah. I I tell you what happened to
- 19:35everybody. I think Brandon secretly shut
- 19:38the live stream down so he could go for a quick walk.
- 19:40I don't know. Well.
- 19:42No way man, I'm feeling good now.
- 19:44Yeah, we're back and start. We'll start over at the
- 19:47beginning. Hey everybody, welcome to the
- 19:49live stream. No, so we were on a great role
- 19:54talking about the good. And I think you were talking
- 19:56about that, that that was what maybe like originally attracted
- 19:59you to the UFD project, to the UFD community.
- 20:03Does that does that sound like where we were roughly?
- 20:06Oh yeah, 100%. And I don't know, man, it's
- 20:10been, it's been a neat ride. It's been an enjoyable ride.
- 20:14The everybody's so welcoming and you know it.
- 20:20The, the good, the, the good feelings.
- 20:24There's not AI don't know. I don't know how to describe it.
- 20:29It's just a it's a great place to be.
- 20:32Yeah, the the the core of what we're doing.
- 20:34And I know you were at the meet up here in Saint Louis and I
- 20:37think all together we had about 30 UFD dusters who travelled
- 20:41from around the country to come to Saint Louis.
- 20:45I also met a good number of UFD dusters at the Bitcoin
- 20:49convention last year, a different group of people, some
- 20:52few the same, but a lot of other people.
- 20:54I met a lot of people interestingly at the Bitcoin
- 20:57convention who came up to me that knew of UFD.
- 21:01Actually two guys, I'll just say it now, I didn't send the past,
- 21:04but two guys that were like senior managers at Fidelity
- 21:07Investments that were, I was talking to these guys in the
- 21:10lobby. They're like, hey, basement run.
- 21:12And, you know, and I was like, yeah, you know, and they're
- 21:15like, we love you, man. We follow you.
- 21:16We've been following your story and everybody is on these like
- 21:20lanyard tags and theirs were turned over.
- 21:22And I'm like, I talked to him for like 10 minutes and and I'm
- 21:25like, well, who are you guys with?
- 21:27And they're like, oh, we're with Fidelity Investments and you
- 21:29know, like we love just following what you're doing.
- 21:32And we, we, we watch you and everything else.
- 21:35Anyway, back to my original story.
- 21:38You know, we all met in person in Saint Louis.
- 21:41And, and I say this every single day because I really believe
- 21:44that it's one of the one, just one of the many factors that
- 21:48really sets our project apart is that, you know, we all come from
- 21:52different backgrounds. We've got super successful
- 21:55attorneys in our community. We've got business owners, we've
- 21:58got all just the whole broad range of people, all different,
- 22:02you know, socio economic. But I tell you what, the people,
- 22:06you know, you said earlier like, oh, I don't care, you know, my
- 22:09hair, you know, my beard, whatever I'm like, I think you
- 22:11look great. Like, like we don't like, you
- 22:13know, like the underlying factor is that one of the things that
- 22:17really sets us apart is just the overall quality of the people
- 22:22we've got the. Cleanest beard I have ever seen.
- 22:27I think he heard you So, but I mean, you know, like we got like
- 22:31good people in this project. And I'm not, I don't want to
- 22:34cast any shade on other crypto projects or meme coin projects,
- 22:39but I feel like that the quality of the people just you know,
- 22:43when I think of like Elizabeth Grace and bully and Betty and
- 22:47Tazza the duster, who I've never met in person, she's all the way
- 22:50in Australia, but it's a school teacher.
- 22:52And just like, like we're the, you know, people say I'm Mr.
- 22:56Rogers, but a lot of, I think a lot of the people that are in
- 22:59our community, a spouse, if that's the right word, right?
- 23:02Like the the fundamental ideas that Fred Rogers had, like, you
- 23:06know, it's OK to be good and then you can also be really
- 23:09successful while you are good. I don't know.
- 23:12Any thoughts on that, Brandon? Yeah, I, I mean, and that's
- 23:16another thing that, you know, this is kept me around.
- 23:20I guess I, I, you know, I'm not one, I've been around crypto for
- 23:23a while and I, you know, there's a, there's a lot that it comes
- 23:29and goes and I, I don't know, as I've gone through and, and I
- 23:36watch and I, I see the, the people that are involved.
- 23:42They're not just, they're, they're not just what I think of
- 23:45as, you know, the trenchers, the, the Dejans that they,
- 23:50they're sitting in the, the, you know, not to cast any shade on
- 23:54you, but they're sitting in their parents basement, you
- 23:57know, flipping, I guess I can say this flipping shit coins
- 24:02for, for a buck. They're, they're, they're good
- 24:07people that have real lives and real jobs.
- 24:10And I mean, I, I probably, I bought into UFD and it was
- 24:17January 6th, I think is when I bought and I hung out and I
- 24:23watched and I, like I said, I've been around for a little while.
- 24:28I didn't, I didn't go all in. I've done that before and and
- 24:32it, you know, it didn't, it wasn't helpful.
- 24:36And so, you know, I just I watched I buy a little more.
- 24:40I watched, I buy a little more. I get excited.
- 24:43I started posting my good morning little I did the Unicorn
- 24:49good morning duster things that I would post in the mornings
- 24:53that have turned into my good evening duster artwork, if you
- 24:59will, And you know, AI generated artwork.
- 25:02But anyway, it it it's been a it's been a progression.
- 25:07It hasn't it wasn't an All in all in from the beginning
- 25:12approach for me, but that that's also that's because I've been
- 25:17around the the space for a while.
- 25:19But yeah, the, you know, getting to know you better through your
- 25:23live streams, getting to know other people through spaces.
- 25:30I realize that there, there's a lot of people just like me that
- 25:34are involved in this, that are, are passionate about it.
- 25:37And going back to what we had said earlier, the, the, the idea
- 25:42of good, there's a lot of good people here.
- 25:46It's, it's not, it's not people just looking for a quick buck.
- 25:50It's people looking for a place to belong, a place to to be a
- 25:56part of, a place to spread good, to do good.
- 26:00A place where they can feel that their safety and reliability.
- 26:07And you know, and as you were saying that I I I also, it
- 26:10dawned on me, right, That and and nothing against like I have
- 26:13a very I'm first to admit I have a very warped sense of humor.
- 26:16Susie can definitely attest to that.
- 26:18You know, I mean, I'm an older guy.
- 26:19I liked I love the Jackass TV show in the movie in the movie
- 26:24when I was in my 20s, right. I mean, I love that stuff.
- 26:27But when you're talking about like people's money and, and,
- 26:32and, and community, it's a whole different thing.
- 26:35And I'm not putting down any of the DJ and stuff that goes on
- 26:37out there. I think it's funny.
- 26:39I think it's great. But but as I think as you want
- 26:42to build a project and build a cryptocurrency and we are a
- 26:46cryptocurrency, right? I haven't said this for a long
- 26:48time, but you know, when I create a Unicorn fart test, I
- 26:51knew I created a meme coin. I knew nothing really, you know,
- 26:54I was a little bit irresponsible.
- 26:56I knew really nothing of what I created and and that was another
- 27:02one of the first things I remember when I googled.
- 27:04I said is a meme coin considered a cryptocurrency?
- 27:07And the answer I got was yes, absolutely yes.
- 27:09Like we are a cryptocurrent. Yeah, we're a meme.
- 27:12Yeah, all that great stuff. But I think is more people OK,
- 27:16like like the meme coin sector has been degen dominated.
- 27:20I think from what I could have learned over the last year for
- 27:23for whatever, you know, the last number of years and especially
- 27:27the last year if if crypto, so we'll continue to have big
- 27:32adoption rates and more of the normies will come in.
- 27:36They're going to be looking for coins where that resonate with
- 27:40them, right. And I think we've got a couple
- 27:42advantages there. Number one, we're real simple.
- 27:45We're powerfully simple, OK? We are a meme coin.
- 27:50We have our Unicorn, right? We don't have any fancy
- 27:53technology that we're promising is going to change the world
- 27:56that nobody can understand, right?
- 27:58I mean, our technology is our community, but I think the other
- 28:03big advantage that we have is that as these normies come in,
- 28:07right, they're going to be looking for more normie oriented
- 28:12coins and, and in places where they feel that that there is
- 28:15safety and reliability. And I just feel like we're going
- 28:19to be our coin will be there with our horn shining bright,
- 28:21like come over and check us out, right?
- 28:24And it's easy to understand and I don't know, I get, I get
- 28:28excited when I think about it. Oh yeah, I mean, it is it's it's
- 28:33a great place to be. I mean, the, I don't know if if
- 28:38you want to be involved in, in crypto, you want to be involved
- 28:42in memecoin it yeah, it's easy to understand.
- 28:47And it's, we have a good group of people that are, I don't know
- 28:54that that are here that show up every day that I don't know.
- 28:59We're, we're pretty hardcore about this.
- 29:01That that was the other thing that I, I watched for a long
- 29:03time is how many of these people are going to stick around?
- 29:07I mean, it was obvious from the beginning that you, you were on
- 29:11a mission. You, you were going to do this,
- 29:13you were going to be here, you're going to live stream,
- 29:15you're going to do what you say you're going to do.
- 29:17And how many of the other people are going to do the same.
- 29:20And, you know, people come and go and that's totally
- 29:24understandable, but there's a good core group of people that,
- 29:29that show up day after day after day.
- 29:33And they, I, I don't know, they, they believe in this as much as
- 29:37I do, as you do, as as you know, we do.
- 29:41Yeah, Yeah. Well, and you know, I think you
- 29:43said earlier you're 52. I'm 55, soon to be 56.
- 29:48One thing I've learned over the years, you know, it's easy to
- 29:53get super excited about something right when you first
- 29:56get started. I mean, I'm, I am the world's
- 29:58I'm more look, when I'm, I'm not again, casting any shade on
- 30:02anyone in their younger years who, who may be doing that or
- 30:07may have done that. I mean, I did it many times.
- 30:10I get in, got into something and for the first four weeks I was
- 30:15super excited. And then reality sets in, right?
- 30:17I mean, it's that way with everything in life, right?
- 30:20You, you get to a point where you like, oh, this wasn't as
- 30:23easy as I thought it was going to be.
- 30:25And maybe it's not as fun as I thought it was going to be all
- 30:28the time, right? That adrenaline, whatever, you
- 30:31know that some people call it the shiny red ball syndrome or
- 30:34the woman in the red, red dress. You, you hit that point where
- 30:37you have to think like, OK, am I going to stick with this?
- 30:40Is this a good long term? Do I believe in what this
- 30:44mission or this project is on a long term basis?
- 30:47Am I going to stick with it? And, and, and what I've learned
- 30:51over the years from observation of other people and through my
- 30:55own life is there is a massive, massive benefit, right, from
- 30:59having discipline, right? When motivation fails me,
- 31:03discipline will not stick with things going through the
- 31:06different waves of emotions. Whatever it is, don't think
- 31:09about it. Just keep going.
- 31:11And if you believe in your heart, and that's what I do with
- 31:14UFD, like I know in my heart that if I continue what I'm
- 31:19doing and the community continues what they're doing,
- 31:22that based on real simple economic rules of supply and
- 31:27demand. And in the, in the fact that our
- 31:29community really does create this utility that, that the
- 31:33future looks bright. And just that there's such AI.
- 31:35Guess the point, the point that I was trying to make that I
- 31:37could have made in 5 words, but instead I went on for two
- 31:40minutes. There is that.
- 31:41There's such big benefit in life to sticking to things, whether
- 31:46it's relationships, projects, whatever it is.
- 31:48Do you have any thoughts on that, Brandon?
- 31:51Yeah, I mean, it's funny and you know, you've got kids.
- 31:55I've got kids. I've got three of them.
- 31:58I've watched especially my my oldest Hill, he gets excited
- 32:03about things like you're talking about and man, he dives into it
- 32:07full tilt. And I'm like, I, I understand
- 32:10that was me. And I don't know if it's age or,
- 32:15or what that, you know, you, you learned that you have to, you
- 32:20just have to stick with it. Yeah, it's fun to chase the, you
- 32:24know, the shiny red ball, but ultimately, in order to get good
- 32:29at something, you just got to do it day after day.
- 32:33I don't know how we always talk about the, you know, you, you
- 32:38got to be willing to put in the reps when when it's boring and,
- 32:44and that's what most people don't want to do is you know,
- 32:48that that's the that's the people that are, that are good.
- 32:51And my dad used to he well, I mean, he still does.
- 32:55He talks about people that have it.
- 32:58You know, my dad was an athlete. I'm I'm an athlete and are out,
- 33:02you know, was an athlete, but one of the things that, you
- 33:06know, I always heard was, Hey, that guy's got it.
- 33:09And it took me a long time to figure out what it was.
- 33:13And I kind of come to the conclusion that it is being
- 33:17willing to get out there and do it when everybody else says,
- 33:21well, this is stupid or I don't want to do that.
- 33:24It's it's raining, it's cold, it's whatever it that's where
- 33:29that's where you get good. And yeah, I.
- 33:33I, I, I agree with you 100%. There's a book I read, I think
- 33:37it was a best seller at one point called Mindset and I read
- 33:40it like 10 years ago. And in that book, like UFDI want
- 33:45Unicorn fart desk to be the Michael Jordan of meme coins,
- 33:48right? Or the Tiger Woods of meme coins
- 33:50or the, or the Lionel Messi of meme coins.
- 33:54In that book, it talked about all these great athletes and,
- 33:58and more than just athletes, business leaders, whatever.
- 34:02And it brought up a very important part that every one of
- 34:04those great athletes, Michael Jordan, Messi, any of them, one
- 34:08thing all their teammates always said about them is that they
- 34:11practiced harder and more than anybody else.
- 34:15They would stay after practice and and shoot free throws for an
- 34:19hour when everybody else went away or they'd be out, you know,
- 34:23kicking the soccer ball in the dark against the wall,
- 34:26practicing in that, in that it's not just some magic thing that
- 34:31happens. the IT, like you said, in a lot of ways is
- 34:36determination and, and putting in the reps like you said, and
- 34:40not giving up. And, you know, Michael Jordan
- 34:43got cut from his high school basketball team.
- 34:45So, you know, I mean, it's not it, you know, I think, I think,
- 34:50I think, and I'm again, I'm as guilty of this as anybody.
- 34:53When I was younger, I thought, oh, things just some people are
- 34:56just really good at things or they get really lucky.
- 34:59The reality is no, some people are willing to work harder.
- 35:04Sure, make their, you know, if you, if you can combine working
- 35:07harder and practicing. And for me, maybe that's doing
- 35:10live streams or whatever I'm doing for UFD with, with smart,
- 35:15with smart, excuse me, strategy. You know you can.
- 35:19You can do great things, no doubt.
- 35:22Yeah, that, that's been one of the fun things to watch with my
- 35:25kids. You know, they, you know, yes,
- 35:29they have some skills and certain things, but the, when
- 35:34they set their mind to it. And my, my oldest is school's
- 35:39always been this thing. He's he's an academic person.
- 35:44And yeah, he, he was, he's gifted with, you know, higher
- 35:48intelligence or whatever, but that doesn't that.
- 35:51Doesn't I can relate to that? So go.
- 35:55Ahead. That's not That wasn't what was
- 35:57gonna carry him to the place that he has made it to.
- 36:01It's his willingness to, I mean, talk about organic chemistry and
- 36:06I'm like, oh, that's mind numbing.
- 36:08I can't believe that, that, you know, you enjoy this, but he,
- 36:11you know, he talks about, oh, it's just a matter of sitting
- 36:14down and, and going over it and over it and over it.
- 36:17And I'm like, no, I, I wanted to get on my bicycle and go for a
- 36:20ride. I, I wasn't going to look at,
- 36:22you know that stuff. So you know, my, my daughter,
- 36:26she, she's a dancer. She, she loves to dance and
- 36:31she's, she's doing great things because she's willing to, to be
- 36:37there till last night, she didn't get home till 10:00
- 36:40because she was at the studio for 3-4 hours.
- 36:43And so yeah. And then my middle 1, you know,
- 36:48it's funny. He, his knowledge of computers
- 36:52and his skills and gaming and things like that.
- 36:56It's funny. We, we, you know, as parents, we
- 36:58want to pull her hair out. Oh my God, my kids spend so much
- 37:01time on games. But man, it's a, it's a great
- 37:04learning lesson for them that you put that time into, into
- 37:09playing Fortnite or whatever it is.
- 37:11You've gotten really good at it. You can apply that to so many
- 37:15things in your life. And so I don't know.
- 37:20I don't know where I was going. No, I think it, it demonstrates
- 37:25that if people are willing to put in the time and the effort
- 37:30and the heart, right? And that's, I feel like with
- 37:32UFD, that's what we have. And you've mentioned this
- 37:36earlier, right? Like a core group of people that
- 37:39really have invested their hearts into the project, right?
- 37:43And sure, we all have our organic families, jobs, other
- 37:47things, whatever, but we've also got this like UFD and it really
- 37:51is a family. I don't like the word cult
- 37:53because cult I read means that you, you know, people are told
- 37:57what to think and I don't think any of us want to.
- 38:00And I know the word gets thrown around very loosely within
- 38:03crypto, so I don't care because a cult, if you want it doesn't.
- 38:06I'm not like hung up on or anything, but, but, but there's
- 38:10a group of people who are, like you said earlier, willing to put
- 38:13in the reps and, and, and man, I'll tell you what, Brandon, you
- 38:18know it, it, to me, it's real simple that if we continue to do
- 38:23what we're doing day in and day out, like we have staked our
- 38:27claim on the blockchain, right? We've got our 999 million beans
- 38:33coins that are on the blockchain.
- 38:35They're there. They, they will always be there.
- 38:37There can never be any more made and that if day by day by day,
- 38:42you know, just from a pure mathematical perspective, we all
- 38:46continue to show up, spread the word about UFD.
- 38:49But I think even as important it it also demonstrate and lead
- 38:55within the meme coin sector by example that you know that good
- 39:00and fair can win, right? I mean, like we have a we are a
- 39:03fair play token. We don't, you know, nobody you,
- 39:07you, you and everybody else and me have the exact same fair
- 39:11access to UFD. And it's not, and we're doing
- 39:14this, like I said earlier, I'm talking to somebody in the
- 39:17country of Texas right now, but we've got people all over the
- 39:20world. I mean, it's not just for us
- 39:22like, oh, you've got Americans are, you know, you have to have
- 39:25a bank account or you must have an account with Vanguard
- 39:27Investments and then you can buy.
- 39:29No, it's like you basically need a phone.
- 39:31Like there's no other that I can think of.
- 39:35And I've got a pretty deep financial background, like equal
- 39:39access opportunity to people all over the world, not just to get
- 39:43involved, I guess you could say financially, but to get involved
- 39:47from a community perspective as well because of what you and I,
- 39:51I mean, look, you're 52, I'm 55. What we're doing right now when
- 39:55I was 22, if you told me when I was 22 what I'd be doing at 55,
- 40:00I would have been like, what are you talking about?
- 40:03You know, I've been sitting in my.
- 40:04Basement with, you know, a $25 webcam and six light bulbs and
- 40:08stuffed bears behind me, and we'd be talking to the world,
- 40:12you know, building a crypto curve.
- 40:13I mean, it's pretty cool. It it's crazy.
- 40:17It really is. It's.
- 40:18Great, right? I mean.
- 40:20I mean, I, I never would have thought of it even, I don't
- 40:23know, 10 years ago. This is mind blowing.
- 40:27So yeah, I don't know. But yeah, you know, getting back
- 40:30to to, you know, UFD and, you know, cryptocurrency in general,
- 40:35it, it's, it really is, it's a supply and, you know, supply and
- 40:39demand thing. It, it's, it's crazy how simple
- 40:43all of this really is. And yes, we, we continue to
- 40:47accumulate. And yeah, at this point in time,
- 40:51the the prices is somewhat manipulated with with a very
- 40:56small number of the beans. But eventually we continue to do
- 41:01our part and we continue to show up.
- 41:06Then eventually there's just not any more beings.
- 41:10It's the it's the monopoly that you talk about that eventually,
- 41:16you know, people are, hey, I want this and I'm willing to
- 41:20spend, you know, today. It's what, one point or you
- 41:24know, 1.3 cents, we're at 13 million.
- 41:28I don't know. I don't have my chart of OK,
- 41:3213,599,000 tomorrow. It could easily, people say I'm
- 41:40willing to spend $0.02 on it and the day after that I'm willing
- 41:44to spend $0.03 on it and it goes up quick.
- 41:49And so I mean, I'm, I'm not here to, I'm not here to shill UFD or
- 41:54you know, cryptocurrency or anything else.
- 41:56It, it, it's just the way supply and demand works and people,
- 42:02people want it and they're willing to pay for it.
- 42:04So. Yeah, the beanopoly is real, I
- 42:06mean. 100. Percent Brandon's not AI.
- 42:10Don't think you're not AI. Don't think you're a financial
- 42:12advisor. I can't.
- 42:13Speak I'm a real estate broker. And I'm certainly not a
- 42:17financial advisor, but I, we can, I can say, and I think you
- 42:21said it as well, like the binopoly is real.
- 42:24I, I, I like to think about it this way.
- 42:26And I'll try to tell this story as quickly as possible.
- 42:29If let's say I created Unicorn fart dust and, and there's 999
- 42:34million tokens available, period, never anymore.
- 42:38But if that were an island, right, a physical island.
- 42:41And I, I built the island. OK, boom.
- 42:44Here I am on the blockchain, but it's an actual physical island.
- 42:48And you come and you're the first guy that that buys you FD.
- 42:51You're the first guy who buys. Well, you're a real estate
- 42:53broker. All right, tell me if I'm wrong
- 42:55on this. You're you're the guy.
- 42:57You show up, you buy, you come visit.
- 42:59You're like, I like this Ron guy and and you buy some, some,
- 43:03some, some land on the island and then, you know, hundreds of
- 43:06more people come to the island. And now literally thousands of
- 43:10more people come to the UFD island and they're like, Hey, it
- 43:14was, I really enjoyed coming to visit here.
- 43:16I think I'm going to buy some land on that island, right?
- 43:19Well, sooner or later, right? And but then there's some people
- 43:22who come and they're just renting an Airbnb and they're
- 43:24partying for the weekend, right? The extractors, the traders,
- 43:27whatever you want to call it, they come and go.
- 43:29But overtime, right, day by day by day, year by year is more
- 43:35people come to the island and say, I want to stay here and buy
- 43:38land, right? Eventually there's no, there's
- 43:41not much land left that's available.
- 43:43And then I would think, and you're the real estate guru.
- 43:46So correct me if I'm wrong, but if there's and you can't make
- 43:49the island bigger, right? Because we can't make any more
- 43:51beans. But eventually if there's a
- 43:54constrained supply of land on UFD Island that the value of the
- 43:58remaining land that's available would go up.
- 44:02Is that is that accurate? 100% I mean, you know, it's what
- 44:05we ran into here and in the Metroplex, you know, with when
- 44:10the interest rates went up, people didn't want to move
- 44:13because they didn't want to, you know, move to a new place with
- 44:17the higher interest rates. So they just sat on, sat in
- 44:20their house. And so you had fewer homes
- 44:23available. You still had people moving here
- 44:25and well, how do you get people to move out?
- 44:28Well, you offer them more money. Well, how do you get people to
- 44:31sell their beans? Well, you offer them more money.
- 44:34And that's that's how the system works.
- 44:37Yeah, yeah, yeah. And before I forget, I want to
- 44:39give, I think Connector, our friend Connector who lives on an
- 44:42island, is the one, is the one who had that original island
- 44:46analogy. I kind of took it as my own and
- 44:49connector's a great guy. So many great people.
- 44:53Brandon, what did I forget to to ask you or talk about anything
- 44:56else you want to mention before we bid farewell to our fellow
- 44:59UFD Dusters? I'll wait.
- 45:04Wait. The boss just chimed in.
- 45:06She has a question. Hold on one second.
- 45:09Go ahead, Susie. Brandon, would you play a song
- 45:13on one of your guitars sometime? It's not now.
- 45:16Maybe another time, Maybe another time.
- 45:20OK, yeah, she kind of put you on the spot, right?
- 45:25Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Those guitars I play, I mess
- 45:30around with it. I'm not very good with the
- 45:33guitar. Talk about practice.
- 45:36That's, you know, that that's something that I haven't done
- 45:39enough of to even come close to feeling confident playing around
- 45:44some. Yeah, I had a ukulele down here
- 45:47at one point. I don't know where it went.
- 45:49It's around somewhere. Well, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll
- 45:51give you some time to to practice.
- 45:54I do want to mention to everybody we are having another
- 45:58IRL meet up in real life meet up.
- 46:00It'll be during the meme Con convention in Las Vegas on April
- 46:0428th. And that'll be at the same time
- 46:07that the Bitcoin conference will be going on.
- 46:10The 28th is a Tuesday. That'll be the meme con
- 46:13conference. And then OK.
- 46:16Oh, yeah, Thank you, Susie. And then the Bitcoin conference
- 46:19will be going on from Monday through Wednesday.
- 46:22I want to thank Moon Pay and Ledger for sponsoring Ron's
- 46:26basement. Moon Pay is I think the best on
- 46:29ramp to get newbies into there. We go into into Unicorn fart
- 46:34test. It was my on ramp, my first
- 46:36transaction with crypto and Ledger, I think.
- 46:39I think, Brandon, did you just hold up a Ledger device?
- 46:42There I did. There you go, baby.
- 46:44Yeah. I think I've got four or five
- 46:46of. Them.
- 46:47Yeah, Ledger, you know, they are the crypto leader.
- 46:49Here's their newest device, the Nanogen 5.
- 46:52But what's cool about Ledger is their new Ledger Wallet app is
- 46:57really allowing people to do everything that they need to do
- 47:00with crypto. Buy, sell, stake, swap.
- 47:02You can do it all now within the Ledger Wallet app.
- 47:05And that works in conjunction with the Ledger Signer devices.
- 47:08Safe, secure and proven. And what else did I forget
- 47:13Brandon, anything? Thank you.
- 47:15Ledger and move paint. Yeah, go ahead.
- 47:17I don't think so. I, I would like to say, you
- 47:19know, before we wrap up, you, man, you don't need to have it
- 47:25all figured out to, to be part of the UFD community.
- 47:29Just show up, do one small thing and do it with good intent.
- 47:35And man, that's how strong communities are built.
- 47:39And that's how we'll continue to to, to grow.
- 47:42And we'll reach that being awfully one day.
- 47:46Yeah, yeah. And there is real value in
- 47:49community, right? I mean, actually last night I
- 47:51was thinking about you and thinking about things that we
- 47:54could talk about. You know, it, it, it, one of the
- 47:58things I wrote down here that I guess I didn't touch on is, you
- 48:01know, and you and I are about the same age, right?
- 48:03I mean, like when I first got in, well, when I, before I get
- 48:06into crypto, I thought it was all Unicorn fart dust.
- 48:09That's what I called crypto. There's a video going around
- 48:12from three years ago when I said silver's going to go to $85 and
- 48:17everything else is Unicorn fart dust.
- 48:21But, but like, you know, I had a real hard time understanding
- 48:24like how could there be value in a meme coin?
- 48:26Because I just thought it's a, it's a, in my mind, it's, it's
- 48:30a, it's a dog, you know, I started doge or, or it's a
- 48:34cartoon character. And like, how could there be any
- 48:36value? And what I learned and what I
- 48:39continue to learn and it evolves is that and there is real value
- 48:44in, in communities that support these meme coins.
- 48:47And I was thinking last night, and I'll just probably should
- 48:51have this better prepared, but I thought like, it's like saying
- 48:54even the United States, it's like, you know, cuz people say,
- 48:56well, what's a meme coin? Show me it's, you know, it's
- 48:58Unicorn fart dust, right? It's, that's what I would do
- 49:00that sit down here and say Bitcoins, Unicorn fart dust.
- 49:03You can't give me my Bitcoin. Oh, there, I got it.
- 49:05But there is real value in in, in intangible things where
- 49:10communities of people come together.
- 49:13And I even thought about the United States.
- 49:15I'm like, show me the United States, right?
- 49:16Well, the United States has symbols, right?
- 49:18We've got buildings we've got. And it's not the exact same
- 49:21thing, but essentially it's a group of people that agree like,
- 49:24here's our borders, here's what we believe in as a country.
- 49:28And, and it creates, you know, a very powerful force.
- 49:32And I think maybe you could even say that about things like the
- 49:35Lions Club or even maybe possibly religions to a certain
- 49:39degree. It's and I don't want to go
- 49:41there, but you know, it's just it's people coming together as a
- 49:44community that creates something that truly is real, that truly
- 49:49has power behind it. And I don't mean power in AI
- 49:52mean power in a good way, like good power.
- 49:55And it's super exciting. So man, I would.
- 49:59Like to say, you know, why, why does anything have value?
- 50:04And I know we've talked about this or this has been talked
- 50:07about, but everything has value because we believe it has value.
- 50:10And that's, that's the dollar, that's UFD, that's gold, that's
- 50:15Bitcoin. Yeah, silver.
- 50:18I mean, why, why does, why does that have value?
- 50:21Because we believe it and that's it.
- 50:23And yeah. It's, it's true.
- 50:25I mean, it is very true. And then, and I'll end with
- 50:28this. What makes me most excited about
- 50:30UFD is the depth of the belief, the depth you know, it it of the
- 50:36community bonds that have been created.
- 50:39Like I consider you a friend. I was on with Vincent yesterday.
- 50:43I consider him a friend. I mean, there's so many people
- 50:46out there that I consider friends that I think consider me
- 50:49a friend and that have friendships within each other as
- 50:52well, right? I mean this like matrix of of of
- 50:57attachment in a good way that we have within UFD.
- 51:02And I, and I think this is cool too about UFD Brandon is that I,
- 51:08I like UFD Corral's great community member.
- 51:11I was talking to him the other day and this really hit me so
- 51:13that he told me why he came up with his name, UFD Corral.
- 51:16Because like when we come together right when we put our
- 51:20horns on, when it's UFD time for people that are in this
- 51:23community, like you can out, there's always somebody in the
- 51:26corral. There's always people in the in
- 51:28the UFD Corral and when we go in there, we set aside whatever
- 51:35little differences we may have, right?
- 51:37Like I'm sure we have people in our community that are really
- 51:40conservative. We have people in our community
- 51:43that are really liberal and different religions and
- 51:46different skin colors and different everything, right?
- 51:49Different countries. I mean, I was talking to Vincent
- 51:51yesterday and that was a great the great example.
- 51:53I'm like, you know, people in Europe are ticked off at, at, at
- 51:57at the United States because we want to take over Greenland.
- 52:00I'm like, but you and I aren't arguing about that.
- 52:02We're in the they're all together, right, You know, and
- 52:04I'm and I don't really, I'm not a real political guy anyway, but
- 52:08it's like everybody kind of it it and how good it feels that
- 52:12when we when we are able to come together and set aside some of
- 52:17these things that I I think what it shows is that the most
- 52:20important thing is the underlying sense of good that
- 52:24people in the world want to have together.
- 52:26So I rambled too long. Thank you.
- 52:28Thank you, Brandon. Well, hey Ron, thank you, thank
- 52:33you Susie, thank you to all the dusters man.
- 52:36And y'all, y'all be amazing. Yep, Yep.
- 52:39All right, guys. Thanks, Brandon.
- 52:40And we'll be back tomorrow. Be good to yourself.
- 52:44That'll give you a foundation from which you can be good to
- 52:47other people and we'll see you soon.
- 52:48Thank you.
