• 0:16
  Everybody, welcome to Duster Club.
• 0:18
Welcome to the daily UFD live stream.
• 0:21
And we are continuing our series of Dusters around the world.
• 0:24
Today we're joined by Brandon Arnold.
• 0:27
He's from the country of Texas here in the United States.
• 0:30
And if there's one guy who's walked literally 100 miles for
• 0:35
UFD, it's Brandon. He does a a daily walk and a
• 0:39
great message of a personal growth spirituality.
• 0:43
Before I go on too much longer, Brandon, welcome to Ron's Bay,
• 0:46
welcome to UFD Duster Club. How are you doing today?
• 0:50
I'm doing very well, Ron. Thank you.
• 0:52
I appreciate you having me on today.
• 0:55
Well, it's a big honor man, because I think every single day
• 0:59
you bring a smile to my face and I know to the community as well
• 1:02
with your your daily walk. So the big pressing question is,
• 1:06
have you gone for your daily walk yet today?
• 1:09
No, not yet. And this morning it was 28° so I
• 1:14
I try to let it warm up just a little bit before I get out
• 1:18
  there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:20
And, and you do it every single day.
• 1:24
I guess give us some history and we'll talk about UFD and, and
• 1:27
what got you into UFDA little bit down the road.
• 1:29
But, but what, what prompted you to start this?
• 1:32
Because it's become like you're a legend now in the UFD
• 1:35
community. What prompted you to to do this
• 1:37
everyday and share that with us? Well, first of all, legend seems
• 1:42
like a very strong word, but I'll, I'll, I'll take it.
• 1:45
I'll, I'll be appreciative of that.
• 1:47
What, what got me started, man, I've always, I go for walks.
• 1:52
I, I take King, my dog, take him for a walk.
• 1:55
And you know, I'd go in the mornings and sometimes I go in
• 1:59
the evenings. Right now, I don't go as much
• 2:01
with the shorter days and all that.
• 2:03
But no, I, I, I go out and I don't know what prompted me to
• 2:10
do it. I, I can still remember the day
• 2:13
I, I was walking down the street and I thought, man, what can I
• 2:17
do to to be a part of the contribute?
• 2:22
And it was I, I, I was wearing my, my, my shirt that I received
• 2:30
from, I think it was OX Dobbs whenever I got duster the day
• 2:35
and it said, I believe in unicorns.
• 2:37
And I thought, man, I got to get over my fear of getting out
• 2:42
there and putting myself out there.
• 2:46
And I just simply said, I believe in unicorns.
• 2:51
How about you or something like that.
• 2:53
And, and that was it. And I got a positive response.
• 2:56
And I don't know, that gave me the confidence to do it the next
• 3:01
time and the next time and just kind of kept on going with it.
• 3:05
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I live stream every day
• 3:08
and I know that you've been doing this for every day for at
• 3:12
least what, 100 days, 150 days, maybe longer.
• 3:15
  Have you? Have you?
• 3:16
Outed sometime in July. I don't I don't know when it
• 3:20
was, but yeah, it was it was July and yeah, it was it was
• 3:25
after the the meet up and all of that so but yeah, every day I
• 3:31
mean, whether, whether I'm here at home.
• 3:34
I originally I was doing I was walking around the streets and
• 3:38
here in my neighborhood and I had a little three mile, you
• 3:43
know, jaunt that I do in the mornings and then I thought,
• 3:47
well, this is a little bit boring.
• 3:49
I, I need to, you know, step outside a little more and
• 3:53
there's a trail not far from the house.
• 3:55
And it also helped me with my, my distance.
• 3:58
I, I walk about four miles each morning.
• 4:00
So yeah, I go down to the, to the local trail and do that.
• 4:04
And, you know, I do it sometimes when, well, I, I do it all the
• 4:09
time. I mean, I've done it up in, up
• 4:12
in New Mexico when I go up there.
• 4:14
I, I did it when we went on a family cruise for, for
• 4:18
Christmas. I did it on the the deck of the
• 4:20
boat, kind of. Where I'm going to interject.
• 4:23
I remember because I commented on that one and I said that I
• 4:26
  was very jealous. So.
• 4:31
Well, it was that, that was interesting because I kind of
• 4:35
thought I'm not going to pay for the, the Wi-Fi service or
• 4:39
whatever they have there on the boat.
• 4:40
And I hear you after the first day of trying to upload, you
• 4:46
know, I, I was like, all right, I got to, I got to figure this
• 4:48
out and make it work. I was on a roll.
• 4:51
So I didn't want to, I didn't want to break my streak.
• 4:53
Yeah, yeah. Well, you know, I get it.
• 4:55
Like I said, I've live streamed every day for I think it'll be 4
• 4:59
years this February or created first.
• 5:02
  I started making videos everyday.
• 5:05
So I've either made a video or live streamed or both every day
• 5:08
for four years on vacation, you know, and I know the discipline
• 5:14
that that takes. And before we talk about that, I
• 5:17
want to touch on something you said earlier, because I
• 5:19
appreciate you showing your human side to our audience that,
• 5:24
that there was maybe a little fear, right?
• 5:26
I mean, I don't think people realize that turning on a camera
• 5:32
and shooting video of yourself may look easy, but there's
• 5:37
actually you're involved and you know, in in the mind can go to
• 5:40
all kinds of places. Talk a little bit about that.
• 5:43
And, and what now it's been 6 months.
• 5:45
I'm curious, like from your perspective, has it gotten
• 5:48
easier? Has it, is it, is it, You know,
• 5:52
they always say like on the other side of fear are where a
• 5:55
lot of good things happen. And I, I will stop rambling here
• 5:58
in one second, but I want to point out that you are doing
• 6:00
good things, right? Like you're #1 you're going for
• 6:03
a walk, which is good for you, right?
• 6:05
I go for little walks. I don't quite go 3 miles most
• 6:08
every day. But on top of that, while you're
• 6:10
  walking, you're, you're delivering really.
• 6:14
And they're great little, you know, one minute, 1 1/2 minute,
• 6:17
sometimes 2 minute videos where you're, you're giving people
• 6:20
like good spiritual advice, good life advice.
• 6:25
I don't know how to really sum it up, but just the stuff that
• 6:28
we all maybe don't have the courage, especially as guys to
• 6:33
talk about a lot of time that we all deal with.
• 6:36
And with that, I'll go back to my question about fear.
• 6:39
Did did did it get easier for you over time?
• 6:43
Yes, it's, it's definitely gotten easier.
• 6:45
I mean, you know, I, I think it's human nature that we, we
• 6:51
all just want to be accepted. We, we, yeah, we want to be
• 6:55
accepted. And I think that for me was the,
• 6:59
the biggest fear. I mean, you know, looking goofy
• 7:02
on camera or whatever. It doesn't really matter to me.
• 7:06
  I mean, look at me. I'm, I'm a 52 year old man.
• 7:08
I got long hair. I got a long beard.
• 7:10
I'm not overly concerned about that.
• 7:13
I go out there some mornings that, you know, I haven't hadn't
• 7:16
gotten in the shower yet. And my hair is kind of Willy
• 7:19
nilly and all of that. But you know that to get back to
• 7:23
your question, does it has it gotten easier?
• 7:26
  Yes, it's gotten a lot easier. I I finally, I kind of, I, I
• 7:33
don't know, I, I feel good about these videos.
• 7:37
  I, I feel like they're bringing, I don't know, peace, harmony, I
• 7:41
don't know what it is, maybe just a little good feeling to
• 7:44
  people's lives each day. And that's, that's, that's all
• 7:48
I've ever wanted to do is just bring joy to people's lives.
• 7:52
  And so I don't know, it's, it's got, it's gotten easier because
• 7:58
the community supported me and it, it's given me the
• 8:02
  confidence. I actually, I, I do, I post a
• 8:06
video on on Instagram now and, and on Facebook just, you know,
• 8:12
  I, I don't know, I feel like it's something good for people.
• 8:15
And I don't know, maybe I'm delusional but.
• 8:18
I'll tell you what, I'll tell you.
• 8:21
Yes, we all, I, I always say that we're all crazy, right?
• 8:24
Everybody in this world is a little bit crazy, but what I
• 8:28
thought of as you were talking is you.
• 8:30
What you're doing every day is like a little light bulb going
• 8:33
on in the world, bringing some brightness, bringing some
• 8:37
insight, bringing some. You use the word peace, harmony,
• 8:42
acceptance, right? You're showing your human side
• 8:45
to people and, and that's what people want, right, is to feel.
• 8:49
I, I guarantee you, Brandon, there are people I know there's
• 8:52
people that feel connected to me and to me.
• 8:54
That's a big honor. And I say that with the utmost
• 8:56
of humility. I know that people feel
• 8:59
connected within the UFD community, right?
• 9:02
Friendships, emotional bonds, however you want to say it.
• 9:05
But I also know that there's people out there that feel
• 9:09
connected to you everyday. You know, I always joke, I mean,
• 9:12
I feel like I'm on, I'm on a little walk with you every day.
• 9:16
And that's, and that's bringing some, you know, some, some
• 9:20
goodness to the world. And you know, I think, and you
• 9:24
said this earlier, right, like the people of the world, I think
• 9:27
it's universal. I was talking with Vincent
• 9:30
yesterday, the bully industry, who he travels everywhere in the
• 9:34
world and I confirmed with him and I've traveled quite a bit
• 9:37
myself. Like, I don't care where you go.
• 9:40
I mean any corner of this planet.
• 9:42
I think most people, most, the vast majority of people are
• 9:46
really good, want to just be accepted and kind of just want
• 9:49
all the same things together. And, and So what you're doing
• 9:54
every day, and I'll repeat it in my mind, you're, you're part of
• 9:57
the, the little, the, the, the good side.
• 10:00
Turning a little light on for everybody is good for our
• 10:03
community, but is good in general for, for for what's
• 10:07
  going on in the world right now. 100% I, I, I, I, I don't know.
• 10:13
One of the things that it has attracted me to, to UFD is has
• 10:18
been you, of course, in the, the community.
• 10:22
I, I feel like I share a lot of things with you, a lot of, you
• 10:26
  know, philosophy, philosophical approaches.
• 10:29
And one of those is believing in the good in the world and in the
• 10:35
good and people. And I believe that the majority
• 10:39
of the people are, are good, you know, they, they everybody may
• 10:45
not be giving something yet. They want to.
• 10:49
They just maybe they don't know how to give it.
• 10:51
And I don't know that that's, yeah, the, the world, the
• 10:57
world's a lot better place than a lot of times that we see on TV
• 11:02
or, you know, wherever It's a, it's a good place to be.
• 11:06
Yeah, on, on TV, that's a great, that's a great example because
• 11:10
on TV you and I right now could, I could switch over to CNN, pull
• 11:14
it up on the screen or, or any of the major news.
• 11:17
All we're really probably going to see are the bad things going
• 11:21
on in the world right now, right.
• 11:24
So with Web 3. No, I don't know what happened
• 11:53
  wrong. Well,
• 12:21
I'm not sure what happened here. Hey, guys, I think we're still
• 18:58
live. Hey, hold on a second.
• 19:00
I don't know what happened there.
• 19:02
Susie, can you let me know if you can see me on the on the
• 19:06
  screen over? OK, I'm sorry.
• 19:07
I'm relaunching, OK? I think everybody, hey, if you
• 19:13
guys can see me and hear me, please leave A5.
• 19:16
  OK, Brandon's here, Brandon. I didn't.
• 19:22
I didn't go back and enter the studio, man.
• 19:26
I think we're live, by the way. Oh sweet.
• 19:29
OK, Yeah, I think, OK, we're back, baby.
• 19:33
Yeah. I I tell you what happened to
• 19:35
everybody. I think Brandon secretly shut
• 19:38
the live stream down so he could go for a quick walk.
• 19:40
  I don't know. Well.
• 19:42
No way man, I'm feeling good now.
• 19:44
Yeah, we're back and start. We'll start over at the
• 19:47
beginning. Hey everybody, welcome to the
• 19:49
live stream. No, so we were on a great role
• 19:54
talking about the good. And I think you were talking
• 19:56
about that, that that was what maybe like originally attracted
• 19:59
you to the UFD project, to the UFD community.
• 20:03
Does that does that sound like where we were roughly?
• 20:06
  Oh yeah, 100%. And I don't know, man, it's
• 20:10
been, it's been a neat ride. It's been an enjoyable ride.
• 20:14
The everybody's so welcoming and you know it.
• 20:20
The, the good, the, the good feelings.
• 20:24
There's not AI don't know. I don't know how to describe it.
• 20:29
  It's just a it's a great place to be.
• 20:32
Yeah, the the the core of what we're doing.
• 20:34
And I know you were at the meet up here in Saint Louis and I
• 20:37
think all together we had about 30 UFD dusters who travelled
• 20:41
from around the country to come to Saint Louis.
• 20:45
I also met a good number of UFD dusters at the Bitcoin
• 20:49
convention last year, a different group of people, some
• 20:52
few the same, but a lot of other people.
• 20:54
I met a lot of people interestingly at the Bitcoin
• 20:57
convention who came up to me that knew of UFD.
• 21:01
Actually two guys, I'll just say it now, I didn't send the past,
• 21:04
but two guys that were like senior managers at Fidelity
• 21:07
Investments that were, I was talking to these guys in the
• 21:10
lobby. They're like, hey, basement run.
• 21:12
And, you know, and I was like, yeah, you know, and they're
• 21:15
like, we love you, man. We follow you.
• 21:16
We've been following your story and everybody is on these like
• 21:20
lanyard tags and theirs were turned over.
• 21:22
And I'm like, I talked to him for like 10 minutes and and I'm
• 21:25
like, well, who are you guys with?
• 21:27
And they're like, oh, we're with Fidelity Investments and you
• 21:29
know, like we love just following what you're doing.
• 21:32
And we, we, we watch you and everything else.
• 21:35
Anyway, back to my original story.
• 21:38
You know, we all met in person in Saint Louis.
• 21:41
And, and I say this every single day because I really believe
• 21:44
that it's one of the one, just one of the many factors that
• 21:48
really sets our project apart is that, you know, we all come from
• 21:52
different backgrounds. We've got super successful
• 21:55
attorneys in our community. We've got business owners, we've
• 21:58
got all just the whole broad range of people, all different,
• 22:02
you know, socio economic. But I tell you what, the people,
• 22:06
you know, you said earlier like, oh, I don't care, you know, my
• 22:09
hair, you know, my beard, whatever I'm like, I think you
• 22:11
look great. Like, like we don't like, you
• 22:13
know, like the underlying factor is that one of the things that
• 22:17
really sets us apart is just the overall quality of the people
• 22:22
we've got the. Cleanest beard I have ever seen.
• 22:27
I think he heard you So, but I mean, you know, like we got like
• 22:31
good people in this project. And I'm not, I don't want to
• 22:34
cast any shade on other crypto projects or meme coin projects,
• 22:39
but I feel like that the quality of the people just you know,
• 22:43
when I think of like Elizabeth Grace and bully and Betty and
• 22:47
Tazza the duster, who I've never met in person, she's all the way
• 22:50
in Australia, but it's a school teacher.
• 22:52
And just like, like we're the, you know, people say I'm Mr.
• 22:56
Rogers, but a lot of, I think a lot of the people that are in
• 22:59
our community, a spouse, if that's the right word, right?
• 23:02
Like the the fundamental ideas that Fred Rogers had, like, you
• 23:06
know, it's OK to be good and then you can also be really
• 23:09
successful while you are good. I don't know.
• 23:12
Any thoughts on that, Brandon? Yeah, I, I mean, and that's
• 23:16
another thing that, you know, this is kept me around.
• 23:20
I guess I, I, you know, I'm not one, I've been around crypto for
• 23:23
  a while and I, you know, there's a, there's a lot that it comes
• 23:29
and goes and I, I don't know, as I've gone through and, and I
• 23:36
watch and I, I see the, the people that are involved.
• 23:42
They're not just, they're, they're not just what I think of
• 23:45
as, you know, the trenchers, the, the Dejans that they,
• 23:50
they're sitting in the, the, you know, not to cast any shade on
• 23:54
you, but they're sitting in their parents basement, you
• 23:57
know, flipping, I guess I can say this flipping shit coins
• 24:02
  for, for a buck. They're, they're, they're good
• 24:07
people that have real lives and real jobs.
• 24:10
And I mean, I, I probably, I bought into UFD and it was
• 24:17
January 6th, I think is when I bought and I hung out and I
• 24:23
watched and I, like I said, I've been around for a little while.
• 24:28
I didn't, I didn't go all in. I've done that before and and
• 24:32
it, you know, it didn't, it wasn't helpful.
• 24:36
And so, you know, I just I watched I buy a little more.
• 24:40
I watched, I buy a little more. I get excited.
• 24:43
I started posting my good morning little I did the Unicorn
• 24:49
good morning duster things that I would post in the mornings
• 24:53
that have turned into my good evening duster artwork, if you
• 24:59
will, And you know, AI generated artwork.
• 25:02
But anyway, it it it's been a it's been a progression.
• 25:07
It hasn't it wasn't an All in all in from the beginning
• 25:12
approach for me, but that that's also that's because I've been
• 25:17
around the the space for a while.
• 25:19
But yeah, the, you know, getting to know you better through your
• 25:23
live streams, getting to know other people through spaces.
• 25:30
I realize that there, there's a lot of people just like me that
• 25:34
are involved in this, that are, are passionate about it.
• 25:37
And going back to what we had said earlier, the, the, the idea
• 25:42
of good, there's a lot of good people here.
• 25:46
It's, it's not, it's not people just looking for a quick buck.
• 25:50
It's people looking for a place to belong, a place to to be a
• 25:56
part of, a place to spread good, to do good.
• 26:00
A place where they can feel that their safety and reliability.
• 26:07
And you know, and as you were saying that I I I also, it
• 26:10
dawned on me, right, That and and nothing against like I have
• 26:13
a very I'm first to admit I have a very warped sense of humor.
• 26:16
Susie can definitely attest to that.
• 26:18
You know, I mean, I'm an older guy.
• 26:19
I liked I love the Jackass TV show in the movie in the movie
• 26:24
when I was in my 20s, right. I mean, I love that stuff.
• 26:27
But when you're talking about like people's money and, and,
• 26:32
and, and community, it's a whole different thing.
• 26:35
And I'm not putting down any of the DJ and stuff that goes on
• 26:37
out there. I think it's funny.
• 26:39
I think it's great. But but as I think as you want
• 26:42
to build a project and build a cryptocurrency and we are a
• 26:46
cryptocurrency, right? I haven't said this for a long
• 26:48
time, but you know, when I create a Unicorn fart test, I
• 26:51
knew I created a meme coin. I knew nothing really, you know,
• 26:54
I was a little bit irresponsible.
• 26:56
I knew really nothing of what I created and and that was another
• 27:02
one of the first things I remember when I googled.
• 27:04
I said is a meme coin considered a cryptocurrency?
• 27:07
And the answer I got was yes, absolutely yes.
• 27:09
Like we are a cryptocurrent. Yeah, we're a meme.
• 27:12
Yeah, all that great stuff. But I think is more people OK,
• 27:16
like like the meme coin sector has been degen dominated.
• 27:20
I think from what I could have learned over the last year for
• 27:23
for whatever, you know, the last number of years and especially
• 27:27
the last year if if crypto, so we'll continue to have big
• 27:32
adoption rates and more of the normies will come in.
• 27:36
They're going to be looking for coins where that resonate with
• 27:40
them, right. And I think we've got a couple
• 27:42
advantages there. Number one, we're real simple.
• 27:45
We're powerfully simple, OK? We are a meme coin.
• 27:50
We have our Unicorn, right? We don't have any fancy
• 27:53
technology that we're promising is going to change the world
• 27:56
  that nobody can understand, right?
• 27:58
I mean, our technology is our community, but I think the other
• 28:03
big advantage that we have is that as these normies come in,
• 28:07
right, they're going to be looking for more normie oriented
• 28:12
coins and, and in places where they feel that that there is
• 28:15
safety and reliability. And I just feel like we're going
• 28:19
to be our coin will be there with our horn shining bright,
• 28:21
like come over and check us out, right?
• 28:24
And it's easy to understand and I don't know, I get, I get
• 28:28
excited when I think about it. Oh yeah, I mean, it is it's it's
• 28:33
a great place to be. I mean, the, I don't know if if
• 28:38
you want to be involved in, in crypto, you want to be involved
• 28:42
in memecoin it yeah, it's easy to understand.
• 28:47
And it's, we have a good group of people that are, I don't know
• 28:54
that that are here that show up every day that I don't know.
• 28:59
We're, we're pretty hardcore about this.
• 29:01
That that was the other thing that I, I watched for a long
• 29:03
time is how many of these people are going to stick around?
• 29:07
I mean, it was obvious from the beginning that you, you were on
• 29:11
a mission. You, you were going to do this,
• 29:13
you were going to be here, you're going to live stream,
• 29:15
you're going to do what you say you're going to do.
• 29:17
And how many of the other people are going to do the same.
• 29:20
And, you know, people come and go and that's totally
• 29:24
understandable, but there's a good core group of people that,
• 29:29
that show up day after day after day.
• 29:33
And they, I, I don't know, they, they believe in this as much as
• 29:37
I do, as you do, as as you know, we do.
• 29:41
Yeah, Yeah. Well, and you know, I think you
• 29:43
  said earlier you're 52. I'm 55, soon to be 56.
• 29:48
One thing I've learned over the years, you know, it's easy to
• 29:53
get super excited about something right when you first
• 29:56
  get started. I mean, I'm, I am the world's
• 29:58
I'm more look, when I'm, I'm not again, casting any shade on
• 30:02
anyone in their younger years who, who may be doing that or
• 30:07
may have done that. I mean, I did it many times.
• 30:10
I get in, got into something and for the first four weeks I was
• 30:15
super excited. And then reality sets in, right?
• 30:17
I mean, it's that way with everything in life, right?
• 30:20
You, you get to a point where you like, oh, this wasn't as
• 30:23
easy as I thought it was going to be.
• 30:25
And maybe it's not as fun as I thought it was going to be all
• 30:28
the time, right? That adrenaline, whatever, you
• 30:31
know that some people call it the shiny red ball syndrome or
• 30:34
the woman in the red, red dress. You, you hit that point where
• 30:37
you have to think like, OK, am I going to stick with this?
• 30:40
Is this a good long term? Do I believe in what this
• 30:44
mission or this project is on a long term basis?
• 30:47
Am I going to stick with it? And, and, and what I've learned
• 30:51
over the years from observation of other people and through my
• 30:55
own life is there is a massive, massive benefit, right, from
• 30:59
having discipline, right? When motivation fails me,
• 31:03
discipline will not stick with things going through the
• 31:06
different waves of emotions. Whatever it is, don't think
• 31:09
  about it. Just keep going.
• 31:11
And if you believe in your heart, and that's what I do with
• 31:14
UFD, like I know in my heart that if I continue what I'm
• 31:19
doing and the community continues what they're doing,
• 31:22
that based on real simple economic rules of supply and
• 31:27
demand. And in the, in the fact that our
• 31:29
community really does create this utility that, that the
• 31:33
future looks bright. And just that there's such AI.
• 31:35
Guess the point, the point that I was trying to make that I
• 31:37
could have made in 5 words, but instead I went on for two
• 31:40
  minutes. There is that.
• 31:41
There's such big benefit in life to sticking to things, whether
• 31:46
it's relationships, projects, whatever it is.
• 31:48
Do you have any thoughts on that, Brandon?
• 31:51
Yeah, I mean, it's funny and you know, you've got kids.
• 31:55
I've got kids. I've got three of them.
• 31:58
I've watched especially my my oldest Hill, he gets excited
• 32:03
about things like you're talking about and man, he dives into it
• 32:07
full tilt. And I'm like, I, I understand
• 32:10
that was me. And I don't know if it's age or,
• 32:15
or what that, you know, you, you learned that you have to, you
• 32:20
just have to stick with it. Yeah, it's fun to chase the, you
• 32:24
know, the shiny red ball, but ultimately, in order to get good
• 32:29
at something, you just got to do it day after day.
• 32:33
I don't know how we always talk about the, you know, you, you
• 32:38
got to be willing to put in the reps when when it's boring and,
• 32:44
and that's what most people don't want to do is you know,
• 32:48
that that's the that's the people that are, that are good.
• 32:51
And my dad used to he well, I mean, he still does.
• 32:55
He talks about people that have it.
• 32:58
You know, my dad was an athlete. I'm I'm an athlete and are out,
• 33:02
you know, was an athlete, but one of the things that, you
• 33:06
know, I always heard was, Hey, that guy's got it.
• 33:09
And it took me a long time to figure out what it was.
• 33:13
And I kind of come to the conclusion that it is being
• 33:17
willing to get out there and do it when everybody else says,
• 33:21
well, this is stupid or I don't want to do that.
• 33:24
  It's it's raining, it's cold, it's whatever it that's where
• 33:29
that's where you get good. And yeah, I.
• 33:33
  I, I, I agree with you 100%. There's a book I read, I think
• 33:37
it was a best seller at one point called Mindset and I read
• 33:40
it like 10 years ago. And in that book, like UFDI want
• 33:45
Unicorn fart desk to be the Michael Jordan of meme coins,
• 33:48
right? Or the Tiger Woods of meme coins
• 33:50
or the, or the Lionel Messi of meme coins.
• 33:54
In that book, it talked about all these great athletes and,
• 33:58
and more than just athletes, business leaders, whatever.
• 34:02
And it brought up a very important part that every one of
• 34:04
those great athletes, Michael Jordan, Messi, any of them, one
• 34:08
thing all their teammates always said about them is that they
• 34:11
practiced harder and more than anybody else.
• 34:15
They would stay after practice and and shoot free throws for an
• 34:19
hour when everybody else went away or they'd be out, you know,
• 34:23
kicking the soccer ball in the dark against the wall,
• 34:26
practicing in that, in that it's not just some magic thing that
• 34:31
happens. the IT, like you said, in a lot of ways is
• 34:36
determination and, and putting in the reps like you said, and
• 34:40
not giving up. And, you know, Michael Jordan
• 34:43
got cut from his high school basketball team.
• 34:45
So, you know, I mean, it's not it, you know, I think, I think,
• 34:50
I think, and I'm again, I'm as guilty of this as anybody.
• 34:53
When I was younger, I thought, oh, things just some people are
• 34:56
just really good at things or they get really lucky.
• 34:59
The reality is no, some people are willing to work harder.
• 35:04
Sure, make their, you know, if you, if you can combine working
• 35:07
harder and practicing. And for me, maybe that's doing
• 35:10
live streams or whatever I'm doing for UFD with, with smart,
• 35:15
with smart, excuse me, strategy. You know you can.
• 35:19
You can do great things, no doubt.
• 35:22
Yeah, that, that's been one of the fun things to watch with my
• 35:25
kids. You know, they, you know, yes,
• 35:29
they have some skills and certain things, but the, when
• 35:34
they set their mind to it. And my, my oldest is school's
• 35:39
always been this thing. He's he's an academic person.
• 35:44
And yeah, he, he was, he's gifted with, you know, higher
• 35:48
intelligence or whatever, but that doesn't that.
• 35:51
Doesn't I can relate to that? So go.
• 35:55
Ahead. That's not That wasn't what was
• 35:57
gonna carry him to the place that he has made it to.
• 36:01
It's his willingness to, I mean, talk about organic chemistry and
• 36:06
I'm like, oh, that's mind numbing.
• 36:08
I can't believe that, that, you know, you enjoy this, but he,
• 36:11
you know, he talks about, oh, it's just a matter of sitting
• 36:14
down and, and going over it and over it and over it.
• 36:17
And I'm like, no, I, I wanted to get on my bicycle and go for a
• 36:20
ride. I, I wasn't going to look at,
• 36:22
you know that stuff. So you know, my, my daughter,
• 36:26
she, she's a dancer. She, she loves to dance and
• 36:31
she's, she's doing great things because she's willing to, to be
• 36:37
there till last night, she didn't get home till 10:00
• 36:40
because she was at the studio for 3-4 hours.
• 36:43
And so yeah. And then my middle 1, you know,
• 36:48
it's funny. He, his knowledge of computers
• 36:52
and his skills and gaming and things like that.
• 36:56
It's funny. We, we, you know, as parents, we
• 36:58
want to pull her hair out. Oh my God, my kids spend so much
• 37:01
time on games. But man, it's a, it's a great
• 37:04
learning lesson for them that you put that time into, into
• 37:09
playing Fortnite or whatever it is.
• 37:11
You've gotten really good at it. You can apply that to so many
• 37:15
things in your life. And so I don't know.
• 37:20
I don't know where I was going. No, I think it, it demonstrates
• 37:25
that if people are willing to put in the time and the effort
• 37:30
and the heart, right? And that's, I feel like with
• 37:32
UFD, that's what we have. And you've mentioned this
• 37:36
earlier, right? Like a core group of people that
• 37:39
really have invested their hearts into the project, right?
• 37:43
And sure, we all have our organic families, jobs, other
• 37:47
things, whatever, but we've also got this like UFD and it really
• 37:51
is a family. I don't like the word cult
• 37:53
because cult I read means that you, you know, people are told
• 37:57
what to think and I don't think any of us want to.
• 38:00
And I know the word gets thrown around very loosely within
• 38:03
crypto, so I don't care because a cult, if you want it doesn't.
• 38:06
I'm not like hung up on or anything, but, but, but there's
• 38:10
a group of people who are, like you said earlier, willing to put
• 38:13
in the reps and, and, and man, I'll tell you what, Brandon, you
• 38:18
know it, it, to me, it's real simple that if we continue to do
• 38:23
what we're doing day in and day out, like we have staked our
• 38:27
claim on the blockchain, right? We've got our 999 million beans
• 38:33
coins that are on the blockchain.
• 38:35
They're there. They, they will always be there.
• 38:37
There can never be any more made and that if day by day by day,
• 38:42
you know, just from a pure mathematical perspective, we all
• 38:46
continue to show up, spread the word about UFD.
• 38:49
But I think even as important it it also demonstrate and lead
• 38:55
within the meme coin sector by example that you know that good
• 39:00
and fair can win, right? I mean, like we have a we are a
• 39:03
fair play token. We don't, you know, nobody you,
• 39:07
you, you and everybody else and me have the exact same fair
• 39:11
access to UFD. And it's not, and we're doing
• 39:14
this, like I said earlier, I'm talking to somebody in the
• 39:17
country of Texas right now, but we've got people all over the
• 39:20
world. I mean, it's not just for us
• 39:22
like, oh, you've got Americans are, you know, you have to have
• 39:25
a bank account or you must have an account with Vanguard
• 39:27
Investments and then you can buy.
• 39:29
No, it's like you basically need a phone.
• 39:31
Like there's no other that I can think of.
• 39:35
And I've got a pretty deep financial background, like equal
• 39:39
access opportunity to people all over the world, not just to get
• 39:43
involved, I guess you could say financially, but to get involved
• 39:47
from a community perspective as well because of what you and I,
• 39:51
  I mean, look, you're 52, I'm 55. What we're doing right now when
• 39:55
I was 22, if you told me when I was 22 what I'd be doing at 55,
• 40:00
I would have been like, what are you talking about?
• 40:03
You know, I've been sitting in my.
• 40:04
Basement with, you know, a $25 webcam and six light bulbs and
• 40:08
stuffed bears behind me, and we'd be talking to the world,
• 40:12
you know, building a crypto curve.
• 40:13
I mean, it's pretty cool. It it's crazy.
• 40:17
  It really is. It's.
• 40:18
  Great, right? I mean.
• 40:20
I mean, I, I never would have thought of it even, I don't
• 40:23
know, 10 years ago. This is mind blowing.
• 40:27
So yeah, I don't know. But yeah, you know, getting back
• 40:30
to to, you know, UFD and, you know, cryptocurrency in general,
• 40:35
it, it's, it really is, it's a supply and, you know, supply and
• 40:39
demand thing. It, it's, it's crazy how simple
• 40:43
all of this really is. And yes, we, we continue to
• 40:47
accumulate. And yeah, at this point in time,
• 40:51
the the prices is somewhat manipulated with with a very
• 40:56
small number of the beans. But eventually we continue to do
• 41:01
our part and we continue to show up.
• 41:06
Then eventually there's just not any more beings.
• 41:10
It's the it's the monopoly that you talk about that eventually,
• 41:16
you know, people are, hey, I want this and I'm willing to
• 41:20
spend, you know, today. It's what, one point or you
• 41:24
  know, 1.3 cents, we're at 13 million.
• 41:28
I don't know. I don't have my chart of OK,
• 41:32
13,599,000 tomorrow. It could easily, people say I'm
• 41:40
willing to spend $0.02 on it and the day after that I'm willing
• 41:44
to spend $0.03 on it and it goes up quick.
• 41:49
And so I mean, I'm, I'm not here to, I'm not here to shill UFD or
• 41:54
you know, cryptocurrency or anything else.
• 41:56
It, it, it's just the way supply and demand works and people,
• 42:02
people want it and they're willing to pay for it.
• 42:04
So. Yeah, the beanopoly is real, I
• 42:06
mean. 100. Percent Brandon's not AI.
• 42:10
  Don't think you're not AI. Don't think you're a financial
• 42:12
  advisor. I can't.
• 42:13
Speak I'm a real estate broker. And I'm certainly not a
• 42:17
financial advisor, but I, we can, I can say, and I think you
• 42:21
said it as well, like the binopoly is real.
• 42:24
I, I, I like to think about it this way.
• 42:26
And I'll try to tell this story as quickly as possible.
• 42:29
If let's say I created Unicorn fart dust and, and there's 999
• 42:34
million tokens available, period, never anymore.
• 42:38
But if that were an island, right, a physical island.
• 42:41
And I, I built the island. OK, boom.
• 42:44
Here I am on the blockchain, but it's an actual physical island.
• 42:48
And you come and you're the first guy that that buys you FD.
• 42:51
You're the first guy who buys. Well, you're a real estate
• 42:53
broker. All right, tell me if I'm wrong
• 42:55
on this. You're you're the guy.
• 42:57
You show up, you buy, you come visit.
• 42:59
You're like, I like this Ron guy and and you buy some, some,
• 43:03
some, some land on the island and then, you know, hundreds of
• 43:06
more people come to the island. And now literally thousands of
• 43:10
more people come to the UFD island and they're like, Hey, it
• 43:14
was, I really enjoyed coming to visit here.
• 43:16
I think I'm going to buy some land on that island, right?
• 43:19
Well, sooner or later, right? And but then there's some people
• 43:22
who come and they're just renting an Airbnb and they're
• 43:24
partying for the weekend, right? The extractors, the traders,
• 43:27
whatever you want to call it, they come and go.
• 43:29
But overtime, right, day by day by day, year by year is more
• 43:35
people come to the island and say, I want to stay here and buy
• 43:38
land, right? Eventually there's no, there's
• 43:41
not much land left that's available.
• 43:43
And then I would think, and you're the real estate guru.
• 43:46
So correct me if I'm wrong, but if there's and you can't make
• 43:49
the island bigger, right? Because we can't make any more
• 43:51
beans. But eventually if there's a
• 43:54
constrained supply of land on UFD Island that the value of the
• 43:58
remaining land that's available would go up.
• 44:02
Is that is that accurate? 100% I mean, you know, it's what
• 44:05
we ran into here and in the Metroplex, you know, with when
• 44:10
the interest rates went up, people didn't want to move
• 44:13
because they didn't want to, you know, move to a new place with
• 44:17
the higher interest rates. So they just sat on, sat in
• 44:20
their house. And so you had fewer homes
• 44:23
available. You still had people moving here
• 44:25
and well, how do you get people to move out?
• 44:28
Well, you offer them more money. Well, how do you get people to
• 44:31
sell their beans? Well, you offer them more money.
• 44:34
And that's that's how the system works.
• 44:37
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And before I forget, I want to
• 44:39
give, I think Connector, our friend Connector who lives on an
• 44:42
island, is the one, is the one who had that original island
• 44:46
analogy. I kind of took it as my own and
• 44:49
connector's a great guy. So many great people.
• 44:53
Brandon, what did I forget to to ask you or talk about anything
• 44:56
else you want to mention before we bid farewell to our fellow
• 44:59
  UFD Dusters? I'll wait.
• 45:04
Wait. The boss just chimed in.
• 45:06
She has a question. Hold on one second.
• 45:09
Go ahead, Susie. Brandon, would you play a song
• 45:13
on one of your guitars sometime? It's not now.
• 45:16
Maybe another time, Maybe another time.
• 45:20
OK, yeah, she kind of put you on the spot, right?
• 45:25
Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Those guitars I play, I mess
• 45:30
around with it. I'm not very good with the
• 45:33
  guitar. Talk about practice.
• 45:36
That's, you know, that that's something that I haven't done
• 45:39
enough of to even come close to feeling confident playing around
• 45:44
some. Yeah, I had a ukulele down here
• 45:47
at one point. I don't know where it went.
• 45:49
  It's around somewhere. Well, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll
• 45:51
give you some time to to practice.
• 45:54
I do want to mention to everybody we are having another
• 45:58
IRL meet up in real life meet up.
• 46:00
It'll be during the meme Con convention in Las Vegas on April
• 46:04
28th. And that'll be at the same time
• 46:07
that the Bitcoin conference will be going on.
• 46:10
The 28th is a Tuesday. That'll be the meme con
• 46:13
  conference. And then OK.
• 46:16
Oh, yeah, Thank you, Susie. And then the Bitcoin conference
• 46:19
will be going on from Monday through Wednesday.
• 46:22
I want to thank Moon Pay and Ledger for sponsoring Ron's
• 46:26
basement. Moon Pay is I think the best on
• 46:29
ramp to get newbies into there. We go into into Unicorn fart
• 46:34
test. It was my on ramp, my first
• 46:36
transaction with crypto and Ledger, I think.
• 46:39
I think, Brandon, did you just hold up a Ledger device?
• 46:42
There I did. There you go, baby.
• 46:44
Yeah. I think I've got four or five
• 46:46
  of. Them.
• 46:47
Yeah, Ledger, you know, they are the crypto leader.
• 46:49
Here's their newest device, the Nanogen 5.
• 46:52
But what's cool about Ledger is their new Ledger Wallet app is
• 46:57
really allowing people to do everything that they need to do
• 47:00
with crypto. Buy, sell, stake, swap.
• 47:02
You can do it all now within the Ledger Wallet app.
• 47:05
And that works in conjunction with the Ledger Signer devices.
• 47:08
Safe, secure and proven. And what else did I forget
• 47:13
  Brandon, anything? Thank you.
• 47:15
Ledger and move paint. Yeah, go ahead.
• 47:17
I don't think so. I, I would like to say, you
• 47:19
know, before we wrap up, you, man, you don't need to have it
• 47:25
all figured out to, to be part of the UFD community.
• 47:29
Just show up, do one small thing and do it with good intent.
• 47:35
And man, that's how strong communities are built.
• 47:39
And that's how we'll continue to to, to grow.
• 47:42
And we'll reach that being awfully one day.
• 47:46
Yeah, yeah. And there is real value in
• 47:49
community, right? I mean, actually last night I
• 47:51
was thinking about you and thinking about things that we
• 47:54
could talk about. You know, it, it, it, one of the
• 47:58
things I wrote down here that I guess I didn't touch on is, you
• 48:01
know, and you and I are about the same age, right?
• 48:03
I mean, like when I first got in, well, when I, before I get
• 48:06
into crypto, I thought it was all Unicorn fart dust.
• 48:09
That's what I called crypto. There's a video going around
• 48:12
from three years ago when I said silver's going to go to $85 and
• 48:17
everything else is Unicorn fart dust.
• 48:21
But, but like, you know, I had a real hard time understanding
• 48:24
like how could there be value in a meme coin?
• 48:26
  Because I just thought it's a, it's a, in my mind, it's, it's
• 48:30
  a, it's a dog, you know, I started doge or, or it's a
• 48:34
cartoon character. And like, how could there be any
• 48:36
value? And what I learned and what I
• 48:39
continue to learn and it evolves is that and there is real value
• 48:44
in, in communities that support these meme coins.
• 48:47
And I was thinking last night, and I'll just probably should
• 48:51
have this better prepared, but I thought like, it's like saying
• 48:54
even the United States, it's like, you know, cuz people say,
• 48:56
well, what's a meme coin? Show me it's, you know, it's
• 48:58
Unicorn fart dust, right? It's, that's what I would do
• 49:00
that sit down here and say Bitcoins, Unicorn fart dust.
• 49:03
You can't give me my Bitcoin. Oh, there, I got it.
• 49:05
But there is real value in in, in intangible things where
• 49:10
  communities of people come together.
• 49:13
And I even thought about the United States.
• 49:15
I'm like, show me the United States, right?
• 49:16
Well, the United States has symbols, right?
• 49:18
We've got buildings we've got. And it's not the exact same
• 49:21
thing, but essentially it's a group of people that agree like,
• 49:24
here's our borders, here's what we believe in as a country.
• 49:28
And, and it creates, you know, a very powerful force.
• 49:32
And I think maybe you could even say that about things like the
• 49:35
Lions Club or even maybe possibly religions to a certain
• 49:39
degree. It's and I don't want to go
• 49:41
there, but you know, it's just it's people coming together as a
• 49:44
community that creates something that truly is real, that truly
• 49:49
has power behind it. And I don't mean power in AI
• 49:52
mean power in a good way, like good power.
• 49:55
And it's super exciting. So man, I would.
• 49:59
Like to say, you know, why, why does anything have value?
• 50:04
And I know we've talked about this or this has been talked
• 50:07
about, but everything has value because we believe it has value.
• 50:10
  And that's, that's the dollar, that's UFD, that's gold, that's
• 50:15
  Bitcoin. Yeah, silver.
• 50:18
I mean, why, why does, why does that have value?
• 50:21
Because we believe it and that's it.
• 50:23
  And yeah. It's, it's true.
• 50:25
I mean, it is very true. And then, and I'll end with
• 50:28
this. What makes me most excited about
• 50:30
UFD is the depth of the belief, the depth you know, it it of the
• 50:36
community bonds that have been created.
• 50:39
Like I consider you a friend. I was on with Vincent yesterday.
• 50:43
I consider him a friend. I mean, there's so many people
• 50:46
out there that I consider friends that I think consider me
• 50:49
a friend and that have friendships within each other as
• 50:52
well, right? I mean this like matrix of of of
• 50:57
attachment in a good way that we have within UFD.
• 51:02
And I, and I think this is cool too about UFD Brandon is that I,
• 51:08
I like UFD Corral's great community member.
• 51:11
I was talking to him the other day and this really hit me so
• 51:13
that he told me why he came up with his name, UFD Corral.
• 51:16
Because like when we come together right when we put our
• 51:20
horns on, when it's UFD time for people that are in this
• 51:23
community, like you can out, there's always somebody in the
• 51:26
corral. There's always people in the in
• 51:28
the UFD Corral and when we go in there, we set aside whatever
• 51:35
little differences we may have, right?
• 51:37
Like I'm sure we have people in our community that are really
• 51:40
conservative. We have people in our community
• 51:43
that are really liberal and different religions and
• 51:46
different skin colors and different everything, right?
• 51:49
Different countries. I mean, I was talking to Vincent
• 51:51
yesterday and that was a great the great example.
• 51:53
I'm like, you know, people in Europe are ticked off at, at, at
• 51:57
at the United States because we want to take over Greenland.
• 52:00
I'm like, but you and I aren't arguing about that.
• 52:02
We're in the they're all together, right, You know, and
• 52:04
I'm and I don't really, I'm not a real political guy anyway, but
• 52:08
it's like everybody kind of it it and how good it feels that
• 52:12
when we when we are able to come together and set aside some of
• 52:17
these things that I I think what it shows is that the most
• 52:20
important thing is the underlying sense of good that
• 52:24
people in the world want to have together.
• 52:26
So I rambled too long. Thank you.
• 52:28
Thank you, Brandon. Well, hey Ron, thank you, thank
• 52:33
you Susie, thank you to all the dusters man.
• 52:36
And y'all, y'all be amazing. Yep, Yep.
• 52:39
  All right, guys. Thanks, Brandon.
• 52:40
And we'll be back tomorrow. Be good to yourself.
• 52:44
That'll give you a foundation from which you can be good to
• 52:47
other people and we'll see you soon.
• 52:48
  Thank you.
