- 0:08Merry Christmas and welcome to the Christmas
- 0:11morning special of Voices of Life from the Church
- 0:15for Life. I'm Pastor David and I'm grateful you're
- 0:19sharing part of your Christmas morning with me.
- 0:23Yesterday on Christmas Eve, we reflected on the
- 0:27quiet and sacred moment when peace entered the
- 0:31world. Today we celebrate. what that moment means
- 0:37for us. Love has come. Christmas morning feels
- 0:44different. There's a sense of joy, a feeling
- 0:49of newness, a reminder that something wonderful
- 0:55has been given. For some, this morning is filled
- 1:00with family and laughter. For others, It's quiet
- 1:05and reflective. And for many, it's a mix of both.
- 1:12Wherever you find yourself today, the message
- 1:16of Christmas remains the same. You are loved.
- 1:23The birth of Jesus is the greatest gift ever
- 1:27given. Not wrapped in paper, but wrapped in humility,
- 1:34grace God didn't send a message he sent his son
- 1:41Jesus came to show us what love looks like love
- 1:49that serves love that forgives and love that
- 1:55sacrifices Christmas reminds us that God's love
- 2:02is personal It's present, and most of all, it's
- 2:07enduring. A gift only becomes meaningful when
- 2:14it's received. And today, God invites us to receive
- 2:20his love. That means letting go of guilt, releasing
- 2:27shame, and opening our hearts to grace. Love
- 2:34has come, not because we earned it, but because
- 2:39God delights in us. Christmas doesn't end today.
- 2:47It begins here. As we move forward, we carry
- 2:54Christ's love into our homes, our communities,
- 2:57our relationships. When we choose patience, kindness,
- 3:04and generosity, we live out the message of Christmas
- 3:09each and every day. I want to offer a Christmas
- 3:17Day prayer. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, on
- 3:29this Christmas morning, we pause to thank you.
- 3:33For the greatest gift ever given, thank you for
- 3:37Jesus. Born in humility, wrapped in love, and
- 3:45sent to bring hope to a weary world. Today, we
- 3:52remember that Christmas is not about what we
- 3:56give, but about what you have given. not about
- 4:02what we've earned, but about the grace you freely
- 4:06offer. Help us receive your love with open hearts.
- 4:13Let the light of Christ shine in our lives, bringing
- 4:17peace wherever there is worry, joy where there
- 4:24is sorrow, and love where it is most needed.
- 4:31May we carry the meaning of Christmas beyond
- 4:34today, living with compassion, walking in humility,
- 4:40and loving as you first loved us. We thank you,
- 4:46we praise you, and we rejoice in the gift of
- 4:51your Son. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank you for
- 5:00joining this beautiful Christmas morning and
- 5:05taking part in our episode of Voices of Life.
