- 0:53Speaker 1: It is also, this has taken off for us, about
- 0:56Speaker 1: people describing their jobs. Kim, we want you to describe
- 0:59Speaker 1: your job using as little words as possible, being kind
- 1:02Speaker 1: of mysterious and spooky. Kim, what do you got?
- 1:06Speaker 9: I wear a mask.
- 1:07Speaker 10: I have my hands in more bodies than I can count.
- 1:11Speaker 9: I go in clean and come out bloody.
- 1:14Speaker 11: You're a surgical assistant. one of my friends is one
- 1:24Speaker 11: of those too so i feel like i know i
- 1:27Speaker 11: had a little intel there.
- 1:28Speaker 1: What's the most kim what is something that unique in
- 1:31Speaker 1: our surgery you've been in that you had you guys
- 1:33Speaker 1: had to pull out and take out um.
- 1:36Speaker 12: Let's see we've had to pull out Lots of knives.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Knives?
- 1:44Speaker 13: Knives.
- 1:44Speaker 14: Yeah, like double-edged knives.
- 1:47Speaker 1: We had one.
- 1:49Speaker 8: I thought she said lies. I was like, you can
- 1:51Speaker 8: search if you want to use those. That would be great.
- 1:54Speaker 15: No, it was like a double-edged knife.
- 2:00Speaker 8: Like a switchblade.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:02Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Kim. Thanks for calling in. Thank you
- 2:04Speaker 1: for listening.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 2:06Speaker 1: So I saw this online. And I thought it was
- 2:10Speaker 1: really interesting. It was the top least attractive hobbies for men,
- 2:17Speaker 1: according to women.
- 2:18Speaker 8: Okay, so like if a guy does this, it kind
- 2:19Speaker 8: of like lowers him down a couple notches?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And a couple of them, I don't really know
- 2:25Speaker 1: what they are.
- 2:25Speaker 7: Okay.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So I was going to go over them with you.
- 2:27Speaker 7: I have one.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Okay, what do you have?
- 2:29Speaker 11: Okay, like no shade, but like maybe if you're like
- 2:32Speaker 11: a professional dancer or like in the arts.
- 2:35Speaker 1: No, no, no, no.
- 2:37Speaker 8: Okay, I feel like no shade, but like Dungeons and Dragons.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 2:42Speaker 8: Like gaming?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on.
- 2:44Speaker 11: Okay.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Cosplay is on this. So is that Dungeons and Dragons?
- 2:49Speaker 8: I guess so.
- 2:50Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't know enough about it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: What was the other one you said, Kyle?
- 2:53Speaker 8: Like gaming.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Well, let me go. Gambling is on here.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Sure.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Arguing online is on here. Funko is on here. I
- 3:03Speaker 1: think those are those little dolls.
- 3:04Speaker 11: Yeah, like collectors.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Marijuana is on here. Clubbing is on here. Smoking cigars. Crypto. Makeup. Anime. Drinking. Debating.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Comic books. These are unattractive hobbies for men, according to women.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This one, I don't know. MIG. M-I-G. Anyone know what
- 3:25Speaker 1: that is? I don't know what that is.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 3:26Speaker 1: M-I-G.
- 3:28Speaker 11: Okay, what's MIG? It stands for metal interned gas, a
- 3:32Speaker 11: welding process where you continuously feed wire, electrode, and shielding gas.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Huh.
- 3:38Speaker 3: So welding is my guess.
- 3:42Speaker 8: Wait, there's also scale modeling and miniature painting.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's got to be what it is. The models, the painting,
- 3:47Speaker 1: the little airplanes and stuff. Gambling is on here, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: this is on here. And I saw a whole documentary.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I didn't see the documentary. I saw it was on
- 3:54Speaker 1: Netflix for a while. Manosphere.
- 3:57Speaker 8: What's that?
- 3:57Speaker 1: I don't know, but I saw a whole thing on Netflix,
- 3:59Speaker 1: but I was like, this is compelling to me. Now
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's on the list.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Dude stuff?
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't know what it is.
- 4:03Speaker 8: Manosphere is not a hobby, but rather an umbrella term
- 4:06Speaker 8: for an interconnected network of websites, blogs, blah, blah, blah.
- 4:10Speaker 3: About dude stuff.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Something.
- 4:12Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Now, then they listed the top most attractive hobbies to women.
- 4:19Speaker 11: Working out. For men. Weightlifting.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Cooking. That's delicious. That's a good one.
- 4:25Speaker 8: I think it's really hot when a dude can play
- 4:27Speaker 8: the piano. Okay.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Cooking is on there. Playing an instrument is on there.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Sports.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Activity is on there. Activity?
- 4:36Speaker 3: Just us moving around?
- 4:37Speaker 10: So many more activities.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Reading is on here. Speaking a foreign language is on here.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Woodworking is on here.
- 4:45Speaker 8: That's cool.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Painting is on here. Writing. Gardening. Swimming. Photography.
- 4:53Speaker 3: That's creative.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I love it. Astronomy. Again, these are all the things
- 4:57Speaker 1: women find attractive in men when they do these things. Hiking. Archery. Blacksmithing.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Well, that's cool.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Isn't that when you put horseshoes on people?
- 5:07Speaker 3: It could be.
- 5:07Speaker 8: Is that iron? Is blacksmithing like working with.
- 5:10Speaker 11: Metal steel and stuff?
- 5:12Speaker 3: Making swords.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Traveling. Traveling.
- 5:15Speaker 3: That's got to be attractive because you go cool places. See,
- 5:18Speaker 3: all these things you can bring in your sig other
- 5:20Speaker 3: into with you and enjoy it too.
- 5:22Speaker 8: And you're like adventurous.
- 5:24Speaker 1: There's somebody in my neighborhood that does LARPing.
- 5:28Speaker 8: What's that?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Google that for a second.
- 5:30Speaker 8: I know what LARPing is.
- 5:31Speaker 1: What is LARPing?
- 5:32Speaker 11: LARPing is like when you like, I mean, you go LARPing,
- 5:35Speaker 11: you go into like the woods and you play games
- 5:37Speaker 11: and you like are kind of Dungeons and Dragons.
- 5:39Speaker 8: Live action role play.
- 5:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 3: So you could be like a Confederate soldier one time.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But they do it in their front yard in my neighborhood.
- 5:46Speaker 11: Yeah. They like go into the woods and they do
- 5:48Speaker 11: it and they like make it all the things.
- 5:50Speaker 1: We'll be like, my son Kevin, I know he got
- 5:53Speaker 1: me into this thing where whenever we eat dinner, we
- 5:54Speaker 1: go for a walk around the block and be like, hey,
- 5:56Speaker 1: let's go this way around the block.
- 5:57Speaker 16: Why?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Because so-and-so is LARPing today. We want to avoid the LARPing.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't need to be part of that little play.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And ironically, those people that are LARPing in our neighborhood,
- 6:09Speaker 1: they are single.
- 6:11Speaker 17: No.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So those are attractive hobbies to women and unattractive hobbies
- 6:17Speaker 1: to women. I don't think there's a list of this
- 6:19Speaker 1: for guys. They're just like, I don't care as long
- 6:20Speaker 1: as she likes me. Peyton, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?
- 6:29Speaker 11: I'm letting you know exactly how your zodiac sign would
- 6:32Speaker 11: haunt their ex. If it's your birthday today, you are
- 6:35Speaker 11: a Scorpio and you share a birthday with a ton
- 6:39Speaker 11: of celebrities. Bob Ross, Winona Ryder, Randy Jackson, Gabby Union,
- 6:43Speaker 11: Tracee Ellis Ross, and Tough Love.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Well, guess what, Tough Love?
- 6:47Speaker 18: Tiffany.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Is today your birthday?
- 6:51Speaker 10: It is my birthday.
- 6:53Speaker 11: Happy birthday.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You share a birthday with Tough Love.
- 6:57Speaker 15: I am the epitome of tough love.
- 7:01Speaker 17: Don't you?
- 7:02Speaker 11: Tough love, but that's okay. Okay, Tiffany, I'm going to
- 7:05Speaker 11: give you your reading for Scorpios. Basically, I'm letting you
- 7:08Speaker 11: know how you would haunt your ex. And you guys
- 7:11Speaker 11: are not haunting your ex. You're actually haunting their entire bloodline.
- 7:15Speaker 11: Their mom hears your footsteps, their sister's lights start flickering,
- 7:18Speaker 11: and their grandma is convinced that the house is cursed.
- 7:20Speaker 11: You said forever, and you actually meant it. Okay.
- 7:25Speaker 9: I might just be a haunter, Peyton.
- 7:27Speaker 10: You might just be right.
- 7:29Speaker 11: I love it. And happy birthday, Tiffany. Thank you, guys.
- 7:37Speaker 15: Thanks, Tiff.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Love you, too. Have a great day.
- 7:40Speaker 15: Thanks, guys.
- 7:42Speaker 13: Bye.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Bye. Holly, what's your sign?
- 7:45Speaker 14: Good morning, Aquarius.
- 7:47Speaker 11: Okay, so for Aquarius, I'm letting you know how you
- 7:50Speaker 11: would haunt your ex. And you guys would actually be
- 7:53Speaker 11: kind of haunting and messing up all their technology. Their
- 7:55Speaker 11: Alexa will randomly whisper your name. Their Spotify will only
- 7:59Speaker 11: play breakup songs back to back. And their phone autocorrects
- 8:02Speaker 11: to their new partner's name to yours. So basically, you're
- 8:05Speaker 11: like kind of a paranormal software update.
- 8:08Speaker 13: Oh, my gosh.
- 8:09Speaker 14: That is so perfect.
- 8:10Speaker 13: You got a divorce over an ex-boxer.
- 8:13Speaker 11: No.
- 8:13Speaker 7: I'm not kidding.
- 8:15Speaker 13: I don't even understand people in video games, so that's
- 8:18Speaker 13: going to be perfect. So for life, I will be
- 8:20Speaker 13: coming back to haunt him and crush every Call of
- 8:24Speaker 13: Duty game he will ever play.
- 8:26Speaker 14: Yes.
- 8:27Speaker 19: Wow.
- 8:27Speaker 11: Wow.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So you actually got a divorce.
- 8:34Speaker 14: This is the best day ever.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 8:36Speaker 9: Thank you, Peyton.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You got a divorce because of the Xbox.
- 8:39Speaker 20: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 13: Quite frankly, I don't want to be married to a
- 8:41Speaker 13: 14-year-old for the rest of my life.
- 8:42Speaker 11: Fair enough.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Wow, so he was just playing it all the time,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and you just got sick of it?
- 8:46Speaker 14: Non-stop.
- 8:47Speaker 13: And the scary part is, is he is the director
- 8:49Speaker 13: of two schools.
- 8:50Speaker 9: How about that?
- 8:51Speaker 3: How about that? How about that? Indeed, Holly.
- 8:55Speaker 13: How do you get promoted when you just do nothing
- 8:57Speaker 13: but play video games your whole life?
- 8:59Speaker 9: I don't get it, but anyway.
- 9:00Speaker 1: All right. Well, thank you very much, Holly. Have a
- 9:03Speaker 1: great day.
- 9:03Speaker 9: I love you guys. Happy Halloween.
- 9:06Speaker 8: Happy Halloween.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Daryl and good morning. What's your sign?
- 9:09Speaker 15: Libra.
- 9:10Speaker 8: Oh, that's awesome.
- 9:11Speaker 11: Okay. Kyle is also our Libra in the studio. I'm
- 9:14Speaker 11: letting you guys know how you would haunt your ex
- 9:17Speaker 11: and you guys would haunt their dating life. Every time
- 9:19Speaker 11: they go on a date, the restaurant, they lose their reservation.
- 9:22Speaker 11: The music will start playing your guys's song and their
- 9:25Speaker 11: date somehow brings you up in every conversation. You're not
- 9:29Speaker 11: like ruining their relationship. You're kind of making sure that
- 9:32Speaker 11: you're a part of it.
- 9:35Speaker 8: That's hilarious.
- 9:36Speaker 14: Okay.
- 9:37Speaker 7: That's great.
- 9:38Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 1: All right, Daryl, have a great day. What do you
- 9:41Speaker 1: got for Pisces?
- 9:43Speaker 11: Okay, Rich, for Pisces, the way you would haunt your ex,
- 9:46Speaker 11: you would be haunting their dreams. You are there every
- 9:49Speaker 11: single time they close their eyes. Every night, they have
- 9:52Speaker 11: a beautiful dream about you guys getting back together.
- 9:54Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 9:55Speaker 11: And then right when they're about to kiss you, you disappear.
- 9:57Speaker 11: They're waking up heartbroken every single morning. and you're just floating.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Around is it is it bad that i kind of
- 10:03Speaker 3: love that it sounds kind of great i mean i
- 10:05Speaker 3: think we all.
- 10:05Speaker 11: Want like not the best for our exes all the time.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And if it's a dream i don't really have to
- 10:09Speaker 3: be active in it i get to live my life
- 10:11Speaker 3: exactly How about Leos?
- 10:14Speaker 11: Okay, I'm a Leo. So the way that we would
- 10:16Speaker 11: haunt our exes is we would make sure that they
- 10:18Speaker 11: never forget how good we looked and what they lost.
- 10:21Speaker 11: So every mirror in their house will randomly show our
- 10:24Speaker 11: reflection instead of theirs. And every picture that they take
- 10:27Speaker 11: somehow has us in the background. So even as a ghost,
- 10:30Speaker 11: we are still giving main character.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And how about Virgos?
- 10:33Speaker 11: Okay, Virgos, the way you would haunt your ex, you
- 10:36Speaker 11: wouldn't be like throwing furniture around. You would be moving
- 10:39Speaker 11: everything in their apartment exactly two inches to the left.
- 10:42Speaker 11: Their keys are never where they left them. Their phone
- 10:44Speaker 11: charger randomly disappears. And nothing is ever orderly ever again.
- 10:48Speaker 11: It's like psychological warfare, but.
- 10:51Speaker 3: That's like your medicine right there.
- 10:53Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I like that.
- 10:56Speaker 22: I like that.
- 10:58Speaker 1: All right. Thank you, Peyton Whitmore. If you didn't get
- 11:01Speaker 1: your sign read, go to our website, johnjainrich.com. Somebody said
- 11:12Speaker 1: witchcraft on the air. I thought they said rich craft,
- 11:15Speaker 1: rich craft. And I thought, I think we could build
- 11:17Speaker 1: a segment on this. No, the first time we did it,
- 11:19Speaker 1: it needed to be workshopped.
- 11:21Speaker 14: Heh heh.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It's Rich Craft. That crazy Rich Craft.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:31Speaker 3: If you have somebody that's bothering you, maybe even just
- 11:35Speaker 3: mildly annoying you, we can put a curse on them
- 11:38Speaker 3: that will mildly annoy them back.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Well, you can. It's Rich Craft. 877-937-1047. So you want
- 11:46Speaker 1: to put a curse on someone? Call the radio show.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Rich has these powers. You know, he hosts this show
- 11:52Speaker 1: on the weekends called Coast to Coast. He's now become
- 11:55Speaker 1: friends with psychics and ghouls and UFO experts.
- 11:58Speaker 3: All the witches. I know how to do all the things.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, right? Witch, please. Right, Kyle? Witch, please.
- 12:02Speaker 17: Witch, please.
- 12:03Speaker 1: All right, let's say hi to Charlotte. Charlotte, good morning.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Is there someone in your life that you need to
- 12:07Speaker 1: put a spell on?
- 12:08Speaker 6: Yes.
- 12:09Speaker 10: Curse my ex, please.
- 12:11Speaker 3: What's going on with him?
- 12:12Speaker 11: Or her?
- 12:14Speaker 12: Him.
- 12:14Speaker 10: He broke up with me and moved.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I moved out.
- 12:18Speaker 10: And he kept all my furniture and wouldn't let me
- 12:19Speaker 10: take it back. And now, just recently, he has started
- 12:23Speaker 10: to post pictures of his new girlfriend sitting on my
- 12:26Speaker 10: couch that I bought. I picked it out. I made
- 12:30Speaker 10: all the payments. It was the first, like, big, big
- 12:34Speaker 10: girl piece of furniture I bought. You know, I was proud.
- 12:38Speaker 10: And now she's posting Instagram stories of them together on
- 12:41Speaker 10: my couch.
- 12:42Speaker 8: Oh, heck no.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Please.
- 12:45Speaker 15: Please.
- 12:47Speaker 10: Oh, please curse them.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Well, you have come to the right place. Let me
- 12:51Speaker 3: summon my cauldron of mild revenge, Charlotte. This man, this
- 12:57Speaker 3: man I feel has committed a crime. A crime against love,
- 13:01Speaker 3: against decency. and against sectional furniture. I hereby place upon
- 13:06Speaker 3: him the rich craft curse of the eternal couch crumb.
- 13:10Speaker 3: May every time he sits on your couch, he feels
- 13:13Speaker 3: something sharp under his butt but never find it. May
- 13:16Speaker 3: every TV remote disappear between the cushions. And may his
- 13:20Speaker 3: new girlfriend always find one long, mysterious hair on her
- 13:24Speaker 3: side of the couch that does not belong to her.
- 13:26Speaker 3: And she will question it every single time. And every
- 13:30Speaker 3: time they get romantic on that couch, God forbid, I'm
- 13:32Speaker 3: sorry you have to hear this. and make a loud,
- 13:34Speaker 3: unmistakable fart noise. You have been where it's crafted.
- 13:38Speaker 15: Midnight train, New Jersey.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It's called the midnight train.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Give me a chance.
- 13:48Speaker 8: Yeah, that's a curse, for sure.
- 13:50Speaker 11: That god awful laugh, whose was that?
- 13:53Speaker 3: That's one of our witches.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Now ride the witch's broom. Ride the witch's broom.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Good luck, Charlotte.
- 14:05Speaker 10: Thank you. Thank you so much.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You got it. Oliver, good morning.
- 14:09Speaker 7: Morning.
- 14:09Speaker 17: I want to curse this guy at my gym who
- 14:12Speaker 17: is the most obnoxious person. Every time he lips, he
- 14:17Speaker 17: grunts and screams over the top. Like, he drops the
- 14:25Speaker 17: weight so hard the whole building shakes, which is disgusting.
- 14:28Speaker 17: you know, typical gym ass behavior, but he, like, this guy, like,
- 14:34Speaker 17: walks around giving unsolicited advice to girls, specifically who are
- 14:39Speaker 17: just trying to work out.
- 14:40Speaker 7: He's that guy.
- 14:41Speaker 17: He'll literally interrupt a woman mid-set to tell her she's
- 14:46Speaker 17: doing exercise wrong. Like, get over yourself, man. And, you know,
- 14:50Speaker 17: then he'll just start to flex in the mirror or
- 14:53Speaker 17: just around to see if she noticed him or whatever
- 14:57Speaker 17: it is. The funniest part is that he's about, like.
- 15:01Speaker 1: 5'2, on a good day.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I mean, we all visualize that. Yes, that makes sense.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Rich, please.
- 15:07Speaker 17: So, just so you know, I need a curse for
- 15:10Speaker 17: this man.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Okay, Oliver, we got you. Let me stir the cauldron.
- 15:14Speaker 3: the ancient scrolls of being snatched, if you will, and
- 15:18Speaker 3: let us summon upon this man the curse of the
- 15:23Speaker 3: shrinking gains. May every mirror that he flexes in make
- 15:27Speaker 3: his arms look like overcooked hot dogs. May every time
- 15:31Speaker 3: a remotely attractive woman walks past him, he lets out
- 15:35Speaker 3: a little small high-pitched toot, just loud enough for her
- 15:37Speaker 3: to hear, and laugh at him as she walks by.
- 15:40Speaker 3: And may every time he offers her that unsolicited gym advice,
- 15:44Speaker 3: they all look at him and say, excuse me, do
- 15:46Speaker 3: you work here? He doesn't work there. He's not good
- 15:48Speaker 3: enough to work there. And may every time he grunts
- 15:51Speaker 3: during a lift, his voice comes out like a squeaking
- 15:54Speaker 3: dog toy. So to spoken, so at shall they swole.
- 15:58Speaker 3: He has been witchcraft.
- 16:01Speaker 5: I am now going to assault your mind with subliminal messages.
- 16:07Speaker 8: Where's the other one?
- 16:09Speaker 16: It's not sold without the other one.
- 16:12Speaker 8: I just did it last time.
- 16:17Speaker 3: This is very powerful.
- 16:19Speaker 11: Very powerful.
- 16:23Speaker 8: To support special ed programs. Hold on. I feel like I'm... You.
- 16:32Speaker 11: Having fun over there, John Jay?
- 16:36Speaker 8: That's an old clip of me clearing my throat.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Don't summon the curses.
- 16:39Speaker 11: Rich, please.
- 16:39Speaker 1: That should be in between curses. All right, Oliver, thanks
- 16:43Speaker 1: for calling in.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I have stacks of information that Rich has life hacks. Rich,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I didn't know this, but I'm sure you did. But
- 17:17Speaker 1: I guess Guitar Center used to not let people play
- 17:20Speaker 1: Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven.
- 17:21Speaker 3: No stairway. Why? That's a real thing?
- 17:24Speaker 8: That was like in Wayne's World.
- 17:25Speaker 3: If you watch Wayne's World, they have no stairway.
- 17:28Speaker 1: They have changed their rules. Guitar Center has nixed its
- 17:33Speaker 1: in-store ban on playing Led Zeppelin and Stairway to Heaven
- 17:35Speaker 1: to foster a more welcoming environment.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Ah, see?
- 17:38Speaker 3: And they're starting to, like, crush it, too, with sales.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I see.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Maybe Lipton, that band, is doing it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: New study found that people who ghost other people, the
- 17:46Speaker 1: people that are doing the ghosting, tend to feel worse
- 17:48Speaker 1: about it than people say that they realize, which is
- 17:51Speaker 1: good to hear. It seems like the people that do
- 17:52Speaker 1: the ghosting don't care, but apparently they feel bad, but
- 17:54Speaker 1: they also don't know how to face their problems head on. Chipotle,
- 17:58Speaker 1: I don't know if you've hit this in food news
- 17:59Speaker 1: at all, Rich. This to me is like a major stir.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm surprised you didn't stop down the show when you
- 18:02Speaker 1: heard this. Chipotle is offering limited edition mega-sized versions of
- 18:06Speaker 1: a signature takeout bag. Looks like it could hold a
- 18:09Speaker 1: mini fridge. It measures 36 inches wide, 24 inches tall,
- 18:12Speaker 1: 12 inches deep. It's called the Big Ass Chipotle Bag.
- 18:15Speaker 1: And you can enter to win one through their app.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, have you seen the boss guy say,
- 18:20Speaker 3: if you want a bigger pool, you just ask, they
- 18:22Speaker 3: give you more, and they don't charge you extra now.
- 18:25Speaker 3: They just give you a side eye.
- 18:26Speaker 1: My son came home and said that was BS, especially
- 18:28Speaker 1: the one right here.
- 18:29Speaker 8: They do charge you more.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they charge you more, and they also give you
- 18:32Speaker 1: side eye.
- 18:32Speaker 11: What?
- 18:33Speaker 1: He came home all pissed off.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Because you heard the manager, the president. They got to
- 18:37Speaker 3: get all those affiliates caught up.
- 18:39Speaker 1: A rare baby turtle's been discovered with two heads, and
- 18:42Speaker 1: apparently it has two different personalities. I don't know how
- 18:45Speaker 1: they figured that out.
- 18:45Speaker 8: That's cute.
- 18:46Speaker 1: There's also been an outbreak of bed bugs on a
- 18:49Speaker 1: Qantas flight from Australia to Italy. It caused chaos for passengers,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and the plane then had to go under a deep clean.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Disgusting.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Terrible.
- 18:57Speaker 1: There's a chart out with the most birthdays. Guess which
- 19:00Speaker 1: month has the most birthdays.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Okay, hold on. I saw this, but I don't remember.
- 19:05Speaker 11: It's like September. Yeah, it's September. I think there's a
- 19:07Speaker 11: lot of Virgos.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Now, why do you think that is? I've always thought
- 19:10Speaker 1: there was a reason for that. And according to what
- 19:13Speaker 1: I read, it's not the reason I thought.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Like a New Year's Eve thing.
- 19:15Speaker 8: Like you didn't think they were getting.
- 19:16Speaker 11: It on Valentine's Day?
- 19:17Speaker 1: No, I thought it was New Year's Eve.
- 19:18Speaker 7: That's November.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And months later, I thought it's not. I guess in September,
- 19:21Speaker 1: that's when people decide we're going to have a baby
- 19:24Speaker 1: this year. So let's start to have it. So they
- 19:26Speaker 1: start doing it. And it normally takes three months before
- 19:30Speaker 1: they get pregnant. And then boom, the baby's born in September.
- 19:33Speaker 11: I'm shocked there's not babies born like right before summer happens.
- 19:37Speaker 11: Because if I have to plan it, I don't want
- 19:39Speaker 11: to be pregnant.
- 19:39Speaker 1: There are some that are born right around May, June.
- 19:42Speaker 1: There are some.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Wouldn't that be fun to be as pregnant as you
- 19:44Speaker 3: possibly can be in August?
- 19:45Speaker 11: I liked being pregnant in the summer. I just feel
- 19:47Speaker 11: like I would be miserable.
- 19:48Speaker 8: No, but you are a little bit. Then you just
- 19:50Speaker 8: go in the pool and you feel weightless. And then
- 19:51Speaker 8: like once the baby comes out, if it's already cooler,
- 19:54Speaker 8: then you don't have to lug around a newborn in
- 19:56Speaker 8: a super hot car.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I didn't know that you went inside a pool, Kyle.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I thought you didn't like pools.
- 19:59Speaker 8: I don't, but I'm saying you can do that.
- 20:04Speaker 1: A San Francisco startup put out an ad looking for
- 20:07Speaker 1: dog walkers with no experience necessary. The pay is $ 20
- 20:10Speaker 1: an hour. But the dog is not a real dog.
- 20:13Speaker 1: It's a 33-pound robot dog. And it does everything that
- 20:16Speaker 1: other dogs do. It even gets tired. It even won't push.
- 20:21Speaker 1: It won't do all those things. You don't have to
- 20:23Speaker 1: feed it, though, right? You don't have to feed it.
- 20:25Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Really weird what's happening in that world.
- 20:28Speaker 8: It's like a giant Tamagotchi.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah. I knew this was, this is the study. I
- 20:34Speaker 1: saw this yesterday, but a study in South Korea has
- 20:36Speaker 1: revealed that paper straws might actually be worse for the
- 20:38Speaker 1: planet than plastic straws.
- 20:40Speaker 7: Of course.
- 20:40Speaker 11: And they're stupid.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Go back to real straws.
- 20:42Speaker 11: They start to disintegrate.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:45Speaker 8: Can't even finish your beverage.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Right.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Instagram is introducing long-form videos called features. Did you see
- 20:51Speaker 1: this yesterday?
- 20:51Speaker 8: Yeah, it's like 90 minutes.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Yeah, isn't that crazy?
- 20:53Speaker 8: And they're horizontal videos, so it's basically its own YouTube.
- 20:56Speaker 11: I saw that they, too, you know how you can
- 20:58Speaker 11: pay for your verification and add elements? Now you can
- 21:01Speaker 11: schedule out your story posts if you pay for it.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Interesting. Wendy's Frosty isn't all chocolate. Did you guys know that?
- 21:09Speaker 2: No. No.
- 21:10Speaker 1: It's actually a chocolate vanilla swirl because they thought if
- 21:13Speaker 1: it were all chocolate, it would overpower the flavor of
- 21:16Speaker 1: the food.
- 21:17Speaker 11: That makes sense on why it's the best.
- 21:19Speaker 3: You know, a Frosty and you dip your French.
- 21:21Speaker 11: Fries in it.
- 21:22Speaker 8: There might be nothing better than that.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Score.
- 21:25Speaker 11: Chocolate vanilla swirl. Cookie crunch, please.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Some American town. There's some towns in America that are
- 21:30Speaker 1: known for their one signature dish. And I couldn't think
- 21:33Speaker 1: of any when I saw the article until I started
- 21:36Speaker 1: reading everything. But it was like buffalo wings. Oh, yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Buffalo wings are for Buffalo, New York.
- 21:40Speaker 7: Yep.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Hatch green chilies from Hatch, New Mexico. Sure. Garlic ice cream.
- 21:46Speaker 1: That's from Gilroy, California.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Outside of San Francisco because they're big in the garlic there.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Maple desserts featuring Vermont maple syrup from Bennington, Vermont. Grilled
- 21:56Speaker 1: bratwurst from Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Sheboygan.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And Cincinnati chili from Cincinnati, Ohio. I've had that. It's
- 22:03Speaker 1: freaking amazing. I can't think of anything else. I mean,
- 22:05Speaker 1: it was Arizona iced tea, but I don't think it's
- 22:06Speaker 1: from here.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Well, I mean, a Sonoran hot dog from Tucson. That's
- 22:10Speaker 3: like the signature dish.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Oh, it'd be from Sonora.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Right, right. I mean, you're saying something. Also, my hometown, St. Louis,
- 22:16Speaker 3: toasted ravioli.
- 22:17Speaker 1: There you go.
- 22:18Speaker 3: We've had those.
- 22:19Speaker 1: What do you got, Rich, for life hacks?
- 22:20Speaker 3: All right. This is mostly for Kyle's husband, Fish, and
- 22:23Speaker 3: John Jay. You ever see a cool gadget advertised on Instagram?
- 22:27Speaker 3: You're like, well, I just got to buy that.
- 22:29Speaker 8: That happens to him all the time.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Before you hit buy, just know that you're paying all
- 22:36Speaker 3: the money for that. So here's what you do. Take
- 22:38Speaker 3: one extra step, John Jay and Fish. Take a little
- 22:41Speaker 3: screenshot in search for it using the Google Lens because
- 22:44Speaker 3: some social media stores sell the exact same product for
- 22:48Speaker 3: up to 80% less.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Wow. For me, it's not necessarily the price. It's the quality.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I bought one of those masks that's supposed to look
- 22:55Speaker 1: like a real person mask. You ever seen the videos
- 22:57Speaker 1: where the guy puts the mask on and everything's real?
- 22:59Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh, you have?
- 23:01Speaker 8: It was like $ 3.
- 23:01Speaker 3: 99.
- 23:01Speaker 8: Yeah, it was terrible.
- 23:03Speaker 3: How come you didn't bring that in? We could use
- 23:04Speaker 3: that for so many things. I think I did it
- 23:06Speaker 3: a couple years ago.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I still have it.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Of course you do. Don't throw anything away.
- 23:08Speaker 1: No.
- 23:09Speaker 3: All right, that life hack and many more can be
- 23:11Speaker 3: found at JohnGinRich.com. Something's got a hold on me lately.
- 23:15Speaker 18: Hey, dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 23:20Speaker 18: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 23:23Speaker 18: and Rich.
- 23:23Speaker 1: All right, let's get ready for War of the Roses.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Good morning, Julia. How are you? Hi, good.
- 23:29Speaker 10: How are you?
- 23:30Speaker 9: Good.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Give us a little bit about what's going on. Who's
- 23:32Speaker 1: cheating on you?
- 23:33Speaker 19: Why?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Why do you think that and all that other jazz?
- 23:35Speaker 10: Okay. My husband, always a hardcore NBA fan, and I
- 23:42Speaker 10: knew that going into the marriage, but now I think
- 23:45Speaker 10: that he is using it to lie and cheat on me.
- 23:48Speaker 10: He is going out like two or three nights a
- 23:51Speaker 10: week saying he's meeting his buddies at the bar to
- 23:53Speaker 10: watch the games, which is fine, but he'll come home
- 23:56Speaker 10: at like 11 and wants nothing to do with me
- 24:00Speaker 10: acting weird. Then I noticed, started noticing all these recently,
- 24:04Speaker 10: these cash withdrawals from our joint account. It's like, like
- 24:07Speaker 10: a hundred or $ 120 every couple of days. And when
- 24:11Speaker 10: I asked him about it, he said, Oh, it's easier
- 24:13Speaker 10: to split the tabs with the guys, but like it's
- 24:16Speaker 10: hundreds of dollars a week. And when I ask him
- 24:19Speaker 10: about the games, he gets weird and defensive. And last
- 24:24Speaker 10: week I asked him, you know, who won, how'd it go?
- 24:27Speaker 10: And he, he literally said he didn't know because they
- 24:29Speaker 10: weren't really paying attention. And that really got me.
- 24:33Speaker 9: That's what it is.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:35Speaker 10: That's really pushing me over. Cause like, that's the whole
- 24:37Speaker 10: reason you say you're going is to watch this game.
- 24:40Speaker 10: And like, I would imagine the winner is a big deal, but, um, I,
- 24:45Speaker 10: I don't know. I offered to come with him one night.
- 24:48Speaker 10: He like immediately shut that down. He was like, it's
- 24:50Speaker 10: a guy thing. And you know, it's my time. I,
- 24:53Speaker 10: you know, whatever. Um, I don't know. I, I don't know.
- 24:57Speaker 14: I think he's.
- 24:57Speaker 10: Spending his money on another woman.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Um, I don't know if it.
- 25:02Speaker 10: Is or not, but something's going on, something's going on.
- 25:05Speaker 10: And I am really, I'm just tired of feeling crazy
- 25:08Speaker 10: and feeling crazy for asking questions and, and doubting it.
- 25:11Speaker 6: You know?
- 25:12Speaker 8: My brain kind of went to like, maybe this money
- 25:14Speaker 8: is going to gambling. Like maybe he's betting on these games,
- 25:17Speaker 8: but then you said he didn't even know who won it.
- 25:20Speaker 19: Right.
- 25:21Speaker 8: And you would probably know it if you bet on
- 25:23Speaker 8: the game because you'd be definitely paying attention to the score.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 25:26Speaker 8: Unless that's a diversion. Like, he just doesn't want you
- 25:29Speaker 8: to think he's betting.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Especially since she said that he's an NBA fan. So
- 25:33Speaker 1: if he's going to cover his track, so why wouldn't
- 25:35Speaker 1: he know the score?
- 25:36Speaker 7: Right.
- 25:37Speaker 1: He's already a fan. So why would he be like, yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 1: I came home and the sun's gone. Exactly. Why wouldn't
- 25:42Speaker 1: he know?
- 25:42Speaker 11: Cause usually you would probably research it either way if
- 25:45Speaker 11: you didn't catch the game. And the money also did
- 25:47Speaker 11: kind of raise flags for me because I'm like, why
- 25:50Speaker 11: are you taking out cash? What don't you want me
- 25:52Speaker 11: to see on that bank? Hotel rooms, hotel rooms, whatever.
- 25:55Speaker 11: Like what is it that you're not?
- 25:57Speaker 10: That's exactly cash. It's not like a debit or credit. Yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 26:05Speaker 7: All right.
- 26:06Speaker 1: We're going to call your husband. What's his name?
- 26:07Speaker 14: Okay.
- 26:09Speaker 15: Drew.
- 26:09Speaker 1: All right. Hang tight. We're going to get you on
- 26:11Speaker 1: the phone. War of the Roses continues next with John
- 26:13Speaker 1: Jane Rich. We're in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You got Julia. She thinks her husband, Drew, is cheating
- 26:19Speaker 1: because he goes out quite a bit with his buddies
- 26:23Speaker 1: to watch basketball games, sports bar, whatever, right? All the TVs.
- 26:28Speaker 1: He comes home late. She found a bunch of cash
- 26:32Speaker 1: withdrawals that she's concerned about. So now she thinks there's
- 26:35Speaker 1: another woman. That's pretty much the whole thing, right, Julia?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. When he comes home, you say he
- 26:41Speaker 1: doesn't even, like, I'm assuming what you meant was that
- 26:44Speaker 1: he doesn't get intimate with you when he comes home
- 26:45Speaker 1: at 11 o'clock at night?
- 26:47Speaker 10: He won't even, like, say hi to me. He goes
- 26:49Speaker 10: straight to the shower.
- 26:51Speaker 17: Oh.
- 26:52Speaker 8: That's a big clue right there.
- 26:53Speaker 11: Red flag.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I mean, because you're not smelling like basketball if you're
- 26:57Speaker 3: watching basketball.
- 26:59Speaker 14: Right.
- 27:00Speaker 1: All right, let's get him on the phone.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Oh.
- 27:13Speaker 14: Hi there.
- 27:13Speaker 8: Is Drew available?
- 27:14Speaker 1: This is Drew. Hi, Drew.
- 27:17Speaker 8: So it's kind of your lucky day. My name is Brooklyn.
- 27:19Speaker 8: I'm with a company called J & R Flowers. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 8: really just trying to like get the word out and
- 27:23Speaker 8: try to market in any way possible. So the really
- 27:25Speaker 8: cool thing for you today is you've actually been chosen
- 27:28Speaker 8: for one of our like micro influencer roles.
- 27:32Speaker 11: And you're like, what is this?
- 27:34Speaker 8: Basically, what this means for you, Drew, is you get
- 27:36Speaker 8: to send our most romantic bouquet of roses. It's a
- 27:39Speaker 8: dozen red roses. It comes in this super gorgeous crystal
- 27:42Speaker 8: vase to anyone you want. And we want to let
- 27:44Speaker 8: you do that absolutely free. We're just kind of asking
- 27:46Speaker 8: that you post about us on whichever social media platform
- 27:48Speaker 8: you use the most. So we each get something out
- 27:50Speaker 8: of it.
- 27:53Speaker 17: I don't have to like sign up for anything.
- 27:55Speaker 9: I don't.
- 27:57Speaker 17: I have to give you a credit card.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I'm not going to do that.
- 27:59Speaker 8: Totally understand the skepticism. No, I will not ask you
- 28:02Speaker 8: for a credit card. We're not going to hunt you down.
- 28:04Speaker 8: Won't send you a bill or anything like that. Um,
- 28:06Speaker 8: we'll talk name and address and everything, but we're doing
- 28:08Speaker 8: something really cool. We'll actually send the roses out with
- 28:11Speaker 8: like a voice memo. And that's really the only information
- 28:14Speaker 8: that I'll need from you. Um, so if you are
- 28:17Speaker 8: ready to proceed, we can get this going and get
- 28:19Speaker 8: them actually sent out as early as today.
- 28:21Speaker 17: Um, um, Is that right?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, cool.
- 28:27Speaker 5: Why not?
- 28:27Speaker 8: Yeah, why not? Okay, so like I said, the only
- 28:30Speaker 8: info I really need from you is that voice memo.
- 28:32Speaker 8: And this will actually be sent with the flowers so
- 28:34Speaker 8: that they can actually hear, you know, a sentiment from you.
- 28:36Speaker 8: What I'm going to do is I'm going to, you're
- 28:38Speaker 8: going to hear a little tone and that's when it
- 28:40Speaker 8: starts recording. So whenever you are ready, you'll hear the
- 28:43Speaker 8: tone and then just go ahead and say your message, okay?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:47Speaker 8: At the tone, please record your message.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Hey, baby.
- 28:52Speaker 17: I'm thinking of you as always. I hope these flowers
- 28:56Speaker 17: make you feel as special as you are to me. Perfect.
- 29:02Speaker 8: Okay, Andrew, who am I addressing this to?
- 29:04Speaker 11: That was great.
- 29:05Speaker 8: Who am I addressing this to?
- 29:07Speaker 17: This will go to Julia.
- 29:09Speaker 7: It's J-U-L-I-A.
- 29:12Speaker 10: Oh, now you want to send some flowers to me.
- 29:14Speaker 9: Oh, great. Okay.
- 29:16Speaker 10: Drew, I'm... I need you to explain what is going on,
- 29:20Speaker 10: where your energy is coming from. I can't even believe
- 29:25Speaker 10: that you fell for this flower thing in the first
- 29:27Speaker 10: place because you're such a cynic. But I called John
- 29:32Speaker 10: Jay and Rich.
- 29:32Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 29:33Speaker 17: What is this, Julia?
- 29:34Speaker 10: I called John Jay and Rich to catch your ass
- 29:37Speaker 10: up because you cannot be honest with me. John Jay
- 29:39Speaker 10: and Rich. sick of it and i want you to
- 29:42Speaker 10: explain where you've actually been going every time you say
- 29:44Speaker 10: you're going to watch the game with the guys just
- 29:47Speaker 10: come on what.
- 29:48Speaker 5: The what are you actually talking about i have been
- 29:52Speaker 5: watching the game with my with.
- 29:55Speaker 7: Guys, why would I lie about that?
- 29:57Speaker 17: What the hell are you doing?
- 29:59Speaker 10: Explain why you're taking cash out of the account every
- 30:01Speaker 10: week and why you come home acting like you can't
- 30:04Speaker 10: be around me, that I'm going to catch you somehow.
- 30:08Speaker 10: You're so sneaky and weird.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Explain it.
- 30:10Speaker 17: Julia, are you seriously checking my bank transactions? Babe, what
- 30:16Speaker 17: is this? What is wrong?
- 30:19Speaker 10: Our bank transactions.
- 30:21Speaker 9: Yeah, our bank transactions.
- 30:22Speaker 11: Do not.
- 30:23Speaker 10: okay don't bathe me and tell me right now where
- 30:26Speaker 10: what is happening when you say you're going to watch
- 30:28Speaker 10: these games where are you going we're going.
- 30:31Speaker 7: To a bar i swear to god we're watching basketball.
- 30:36Speaker 10: What bar which bar.
- 30:39Speaker 17: Okay it's well it's technically it's a strip club but
- 30:44Speaker 17: i mean they're just going to have.
- 30:47Speaker 10: Fun oh my god what oh come on.
- 30:50Speaker 3: It is a bar there is a bar there oh
- 30:52Speaker 3: sorry hello Oh, my God.
- 30:57Speaker 10: You have been going to a strip club three nights
- 31:01Speaker 10: a week?
- 31:03Speaker 8: Dang.
- 31:04Speaker 7: Hold up.
- 31:04Speaker 3: You got a budget for that.
- 31:07Speaker 17: They have TVs everywhere. They show all the games. And
- 31:10Speaker 17: I swear to you. They do also have the best
- 31:14Speaker 17: wings in the city. So come on.
- 31:16Speaker 10: Oh, my God.
- 31:17Speaker 8: What the f * * *?
- 31:19Speaker 17: Wings?
- 31:21Speaker 21: Yes.
- 31:22Speaker 10: We're talking like basketball.
- 31:23Speaker 17: And don't be kidding, Julia. The wings are unbelievable.
- 31:27Speaker 7: You should go.
- 31:28Speaker 17: That's why the guys that started going there in the
- 31:30Speaker 17: first place.
- 31:31Speaker 11: Right.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Those wings are hundreds of dollars, though.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Hundreds of dollars on wings.
- 31:39Speaker 10: Every time you go there. Tell me the wings are
- 31:41Speaker 10: made of gold. They must be incredible.
- 31:45Speaker 17: You know, in order to stay, you've got to bring
- 31:47Speaker 17: some cash to tip the dancers.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 31:51Speaker 17: You sit there for three hours and don't tip. They
- 31:53Speaker 17: start getting weird about it.
- 31:54Speaker 9: You, like, come on.
- 31:56Speaker 16: You're tipping naked women.
- 31:59Speaker 10: With my money. You're tipping other girls.
- 32:01Speaker 7: Our money.
- 32:03Speaker 11: Okay.
- 32:04Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 32:05Speaker 8: That is so messed up.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Five points for Kyle. I'm fucked for calling that one.
- 32:09Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Look, calm down.
- 32:12Speaker 17: Oh, my God.
- 32:13Speaker 10: What about when you come home and shower immediately?
- 32:15Speaker 14: I didn't even pick the plate.
- 32:16Speaker 1: We went once.
- 32:17Speaker 17: It turns out everybody liked it, and I knew you'd
- 32:20Speaker 17: be upset.
- 32:20Speaker 7: Oh, everybody.
- 32:21Speaker 9: Look at you now.
- 32:22Speaker 10: Everybody liked it. Everybody liked it, including you. you couldn't
- 32:26Speaker 10: say like, no, let's go somewhere else. This is wrong.
- 32:28Speaker 10: Like more of those guys are married than not. You're
- 32:31Speaker 10: all doing that.
- 32:31Speaker 1: You're not doing anything.
- 32:32Speaker 19: And it's convenient.
- 32:33Speaker 17: And the TVs are everywhere. And the wings.
- 32:36Speaker 7: Are freaking great.
- 32:37Speaker 10: The TVs are everywhere. And the TV is everywhere too,
- 32:39Speaker 10: aren't they?
- 32:40Speaker 1: They are.
- 32:43Speaker 17: I don't need to lie about this.
- 32:45Speaker 10: Why do you come home and take a shower immediately?
- 32:47Speaker 10: What have you been doing that you need to wash off?
- 32:49Speaker 17: I come home and shower because I'm trying to get
- 32:53Speaker 17: clean so I don't smell like I've been at a bar.
- 32:56Speaker 8: At a strip club.
- 32:57Speaker 13: At a strip club.
- 32:59Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 33:00Speaker 10: You've been lying to me for weeks about this. And
- 33:04Speaker 10: your defense is the wings are good and there's TVs everywhere.
- 33:07Speaker 21: Julia.
- 33:08Speaker 10: Telling you the truth.
- 33:13Speaker 17: I haven't touched anybody. I'm not cheating you. I'm literally
- 33:17Speaker 17: there for basketball and food and hang out.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Bullshit.
- 33:23Speaker 11: Julia, if he would have told you this beforehand, that
- 33:25Speaker 11: he was going to the games and was at his
- 33:26Speaker 11: trip club because they have great wings, would you be
- 33:29Speaker 11: tripping as much?
- 33:30Speaker 13: Yes.
- 33:31Speaker 10: Nobody should be going to a strip club to watch basketball.
- 33:34Speaker 10: You either go to a strip club to watch girls
- 33:36Speaker 10: or you go, I don't even know another reason. There's
- 33:39Speaker 10: not another reason.
- 33:40Speaker 11: I was trying to help you out, Drew. I was
- 33:42Speaker 11: trying to say maybe if you communicated, you'd be able
- 33:44Speaker 11: to get away with it, but it seems like she's
- 33:46Speaker 11: a no-go on the strip club.
- 33:47Speaker 8: But the thing is, Drew knew that. Drew knew that,
- 33:49Speaker 8: and that's why you didn't tell her. And that's the problem,
- 33:51Speaker 8: because you knew it would bother her, but you're doing
- 33:53Speaker 8: it anyway.
- 33:54Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Do you know why?
- 33:56Speaker 10: Why didn't you just tell your friends, let's go somewhere else?
- 33:59Speaker 10: That's wrong. You were excited about it, too. You enjoyed it, too.
- 34:02Speaker 1: What are some of the stripper names? You have, like,
- 34:05Speaker 1: Stephanie Curry, LaBarbara.
- 34:08Speaker 3: James, Magic Johnson. That's the same.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Double entendre. Single entendre.
- 34:18Speaker 17: I don't know them personally. I don't talk to them
- 34:20Speaker 17: like that.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Oh, good.
- 34:22Speaker 10: Oh, you're such a, what a prince. You don't know
- 34:25Speaker 10: them personally.
- 34:26Speaker 14: Great.
- 34:27Speaker 10: Well, I hope you enjoy your wings because you're about
- 34:29Speaker 10: to eat them alone.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Oh, dang. You don't think anyone will sit there and
- 34:33Speaker 1: eat them with them? The strip bar?
- 34:35Speaker 8: No, maybe for the right tip, probably, yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I think he'll get people to eat them.
- 34:38Speaker 3: I think you should go, Julia. You guys just need
- 34:40Speaker 3: to communicate. Go for the wings.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I've heard the food at those places is great. But yeah,
- 34:44Speaker 1: why don't you just go one time?
- 34:46Speaker 10: Okay, yeah, maybe. Yeah, I'll go with you.
- 34:48Speaker 9: Let's see.
- 34:49Speaker 10: Let's see what all the hype is about.
- 34:50Speaker 2: How about that?
- 34:51Speaker 11: You should seriously go. I bet you it would make
- 34:53Speaker 11: you feel better.
- 34:54Speaker 8: I doubt that.
- 34:55Speaker 1: All right, you guys. That is War of the Roses.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Especially if she goes. Everybody knows him.
- 35:00Speaker 15: Oh, my God.
- 35:03Speaker 3: No.
- 35:03Speaker 8: You're married?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Drew, you're married?
- 35:07Speaker 11: I just feel like going to the strip club with
- 35:08Speaker 11: your partner is like a vibe.
- 35:10Speaker 1: You know we don't play basketball in the TV monitors here.
- 35:12Speaker 11: All right.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Hold on, you guys. That's War of the Roses with
- 35:16Speaker 1: Josh A.
- 35:17Speaker 15: Rich.
- 35:31Speaker 18: If chaos was a radio show, you're listening to it.
- 35:35Speaker 14: Oh, no.
- 35:37Speaker 1: What?
- 35:37Speaker 11: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do that.
- 35:44Speaker 11: We are having a nice day.
- 35:48Speaker 3: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Oh, a lot of comments on War of the Roses.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Good morning, Candace. Good morning. Your thoughts on War of
- 35:55Speaker 1: the Roses.
- 35:57Speaker 14: Yeah, so I was listening, and that gentleman that took
- 36:01Speaker 14: their joint money to go to the strip club, here's
- 36:04Speaker 14: what I know. Me and my wife have an understanding.
- 36:06Speaker 9: I do not look at other naked girls, and we
- 36:08Speaker 9: stay married.
- 36:10Speaker 13: And then everybody was just laughing, but you could tell
- 36:12Speaker 13: that girl, her feelings were hurt.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Yeah, she wasn't the weak in it, though. She was
- 36:18Speaker 3: jumping his case, so.
- 36:22Speaker 3: She was not the weak one in that situation.
- 36:23Speaker 10: I don't think he was supposed to be, I don't
- 36:25Speaker 10: think he was supposed to be taking their money and
- 36:27Speaker 10: giving it to naked women by any means.
- 36:29Speaker 8: Oh yeah, he knew that. That's why I said that's,
- 36:32Speaker 8: obviously that's why you were lying about it and not
- 36:34Speaker 8: telling her because you knew you weren't supposed to be
- 36:36Speaker 8: doing that.
- 36:36Speaker 11: He even said that. That's why I didn't bring it
- 36:38Speaker 11: up because I knew you would act like this.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Also, we don't know if he gave the money to
- 36:42Speaker 1: the strippers personally.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 36:45Speaker 14: We don't know that he did that.
- 36:46Speaker 13: He might have bought extra wings.
- 36:49Speaker 3: That's probably, that's probably good. If you're married, you shouldn't
- 36:53Speaker 3: go looking at other naked people, period. Like, you know,
- 36:55Speaker 3: and then paying.
- 36:56Speaker 8: I think you have to know the nature of your
- 36:58Speaker 8: own relationship. Like Peyton, for instance.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 10: And he knew better or he wouldn't have been hiding.
- 37:03Speaker 14: Right.
- 37:04Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 37:05Speaker 10: I like, I know for a fact, if I.
- 37:07Speaker 14: Go and pull money and go to a strip club,
- 37:09Speaker 14: I'm going home to an empty house. Right.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Because there's someone else.
- 37:12Speaker 8: Well, he knew that too. That's why he lied about it.
- 37:15Speaker 1: All right, Candace.
- 37:16Speaker 15: Yeah, absolutely.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Appreciate you.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Thank you. You said Peyton's your.
- 37:19Speaker 8: Well, during the segment, Peyton was even like, it could
- 37:22Speaker 8: be kind of fun. You should go with him. Like
- 37:23Speaker 8: that sort of thing. But like in our relationship, I
- 37:26Speaker 8: would maybe lean more towards Julia and be like, you're
- 37:29Speaker 8: in big trouble, mister. Especially if you're lying about it.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Rich, thanks for holding. What's up? You're on the air.
- 37:35Speaker 7: Yeah, John, you used to have a PI license. You
- 37:38Speaker 7: guys failed to get the name of this bar. I mean,
- 37:43Speaker 7: Carl Beers and Cheeseburgers has 15 TV sets, but they
- 37:47Speaker 7: don't have ladies taking their clothes off. And this guy's
- 37:50Speaker 7: going off on the wings. I mean, some strip clubs
- 37:53Speaker 7: have surf and turf, but I can't imagine it's prepared
- 37:57Speaker 7: by a culinary expert. I mean, he was shady.
- 38:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 7: Taking a shower.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I know.
- 38:04Speaker 17: Come on.
- 38:04Speaker 1: There's lots of red flags there. Judas, good morning. You're
- 38:07Speaker 1: on the air. War of the Roses.
- 38:08Speaker 11: Hi.
- 38:09Speaker 23: Hi.
- 38:09Speaker 6: I was listening to War of the Roses, and I
- 38:11Speaker 6: immediately knew it was a stripper.
- 38:14Speaker 9: I immediately knew.
- 38:15Speaker 6: So I texted in and said, it's a stripper.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yep, it's a stripper.
- 38:20Speaker 11: You were right.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Way to go, Judas.
- 38:23Speaker 14: I know.
- 38:24Speaker 11: I know.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I know.
- 38:24Speaker 10: I've been through it all.
- 38:25Speaker 15: Believe me.
- 38:26Speaker 11: Oh.
- 38:26Speaker 1: All right.
- 38:28Speaker 11: For Judas.
- 38:29Speaker 14: All right.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 38:31Speaker 9: You too.
- 38:33Speaker 1: So we got Halloween coming up, but a week from
- 38:38Speaker 1: this Saturday, right? Is that right?
- 38:40Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Saturday's Love Pup Family Fest. Gavin McGraw. I don't want to.
- 38:46Speaker 17: Be anything other than what I've been trying to be.
- 38:51Speaker 1: It's November 7th, 4 p.m. Vertuccio Farms. It's a free
- 38:55Speaker 1: show with Gavin DeGraw live in concert. Gino Plegger, the
- 38:58Speaker 1: runner-up for America's Got Talent, he's a magician. He's going
- 39:01Speaker 1: to be doing magic up on the stage, which is
- 39:02Speaker 1: going to be great. We've got the Rich Barra band
- 39:04Speaker 1: that's going to be there. Also doing magic up on
- 39:07Speaker 1: that stage. Dog rescues. If you're looking to adopt a puppy,
- 39:10Speaker 1: we're going to have puppies and dogs. It's a beautiful event.
- 39:12Speaker 1: The weather's going to be fantastic.
- 39:14Speaker 7: It's free.
- 39:15Speaker 1: We ask that you bring a dog rescue donation like leashes,
- 39:17Speaker 1: puppy pads, dog food. There's food trucks, vendors, KidZone, so
- 39:21Speaker 1: much more going on. And it is free at Vertuccio Farms,
- 39:24Speaker 1: 4 p.m. next Saturday, November 7th. I got some Halloween
- 39:22Speaker 1: stuff I want to get into. I think this is
- 39:33Speaker 1: really interesting. This came out in the news today. A
- 39:36Speaker 1: poll says that 70% of Americans believe Halloween is just
- 39:40Speaker 1: as much for adults as it is for kids.
- 39:42Speaker 7: Of course.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Agreed. People are taking that a step further. I think
- 39:46Speaker 1: Halloween should be a national holiday, like Memorial Day, Independence Day,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and Christmas Day.
- 39:50Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:51Speaker 1: What do you guys think?
- 39:52Speaker 3: Yeah, like Thanksgiving, they should just make it the last
- 39:55Speaker 3: Saturday of the month.
- 39:56Speaker 8: Yeah, that's what I've always just thought. Just make it
- 39:58Speaker 8: the last Saturday, and then that's the day.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Instead of the 31st.
- 40:01Speaker 8: And then people don't have to take a day off
- 40:03Speaker 8: work or whatever.
- 40:04Speaker 1: But like for Halloween, so instead of it being the
- 40:07Speaker 1: 31st for a thousand years, we're going to move it
- 40:09Speaker 1: to just that Saturday.
- 40:10Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 3: I think they do that in New England. I think
- 40:12Speaker 3: it'd be hard to pull off.
- 40:13Speaker 14: Why?
- 40:14Speaker 8: I mean, we do it with Thanksgiving.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Because then what happens is then you got people also
- 40:17Speaker 1: trick-or-treating on the 31st because they've been doing it for
- 40:19Speaker 1: so long and they didn't see the press release.
- 40:23Speaker 8: I feel like it would be welcome to pretty much
- 40:25Speaker 8: anyone with kids.
- 40:25Speaker 3: It's the age of the internet now.
- 40:27Speaker 1: But then you have people knocking on your door for
- 40:28Speaker 1: candy on the 31st and you got to open it
- 40:30Speaker 1: and go, no, no, it's on Saturday. And they'd be like, oh, okay.
- 40:34Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 40:35Speaker 8: You just turn your lights out.
- 40:36Speaker 11: It's embarrassing.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you guys. Well, you turn your lights out.
- 40:38Speaker 1: But if you don't know, if you're the person at
- 40:40Speaker 1: home and you don't know they changed the date. And
- 40:43Speaker 1: then people knock on your door. And you normally have
- 40:44Speaker 1: your lights on. And you open the door. You're like, hey,
- 40:45Speaker 1: what's the trick or treat?
- 40:46Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I don't have anything. What are you doing?
- 40:48Speaker 3: I think the word gets out pretty fast.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Come on.
- 40:50Speaker 3: People would love that.
- 40:55Speaker 8: Because it sucks when Halloween's on a Wednesday.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I think you're missing what I'm saying. I agree with
- 40:59Speaker 1: you guys. I just think it's impossible for it to happen.
- 41:01Speaker 11: It would still happen. People would still go trick-or-treating on
- 41:03Speaker 11: October 31st because that's just what they do. But isn't
- 41:07Speaker 11: October 31st like an actual, like, it means something? Like,
- 41:12Speaker 11: it's like an actual day.
- 41:13Speaker 3: It's All Saints Day is the following day.
- 41:15Speaker 15: Right.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So you can't just change it.
- 41:17Speaker 11: To whatever last day of the Saturday is because it's
- 41:19Speaker 11: not that day.
- 41:20Speaker 8: Then why is Thanksgiving okay to move around?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, see? I don't get it.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Because this happened 4,000 years ago when they invented Thanksgiving.
- 41:27Speaker 8: The Thanksgiving people were smart.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Once you go, hey.
- 41:30Speaker 11: Every Thursday.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Once somebody rings your doorbell.
- 41:33Speaker 11: November, the last one.
- 41:34Speaker 3: We do it on the last Saturday of the month now.
- 41:36Speaker 3: They're like, oh, okay. Do you think it's just going
- 41:37Speaker 3: to keep on happening for years because nobody's going to
- 41:39Speaker 3: get the information?
- 41:39Speaker 1: How many times have you had, you have a meeting
- 41:41Speaker 1: and then the people misunderstand the meeting?
- 41:43Speaker 23: Well.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's something simple.
- 41:44Speaker 3: People are getting stupid. We're going to be here at five.
- 41:45Speaker 3: I'm convinced of that.
- 41:46Speaker 1: People get in there. Hey, Mickey, good morning. You're on
- 41:49Speaker 1: the air.
- 41:55Speaker 14: So I have a stupid Halloween story. A stupid Halloween story.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 42:01Speaker 14: Yes.
- 42:02Speaker 1: So I was 18.
- 42:03Speaker 14: I'm 50 now. I was 18 and I had been
- 42:08Speaker 14: a stripper and only been doing it for a couple
- 42:11Speaker 14: of months and they wanted us to dress up for Halloween.
- 42:15Speaker 14: And I've always been really outgoing. I did theater and
- 42:17Speaker 14: all that stuff when I was young and, and I
- 42:20Speaker 14: used to like to play to the crowds. Well, I
- 42:22Speaker 14: really wasn't thinking like, oh, I'm going to be a
- 42:25Speaker 14: sexy mouse or a sexy pumpkin or anything like that.
- 42:28Speaker 11: No, no.
- 42:29Speaker 14: I had my man do full prosthetic zombie makeup on me,
- 42:34Speaker 14: and I showed up for work in a man's suit,
- 42:37Speaker 14: and I'm 5'11, flat-footed, so those heels make me like 6'4.
- 42:41Speaker 14: So I walk into work with a man's suit on
- 42:44Speaker 14: and full prosthetic zombie makeup, and here are all these
- 42:47Speaker 14: little bitty girls running around, and in their little sexy
- 42:51Speaker 14: whatever we're going to be in my management.
- 42:53Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 42:54Speaker 14: They looked at me when I walked in the door,
- 42:56Speaker 14: and they about died.
- 42:58Speaker 9: And, yeah, people.
- 43:00Speaker 14: Didn't know what to do with a six-foot-four zombie in
- 43:02Speaker 14: a strip club.
- 43:03Speaker 3: I bet you were very popular that night.
- 43:07Speaker 14: Actually, I made it about halfway through the night, and
- 43:09Speaker 14: management was kind of like, hey, Nick, yeah, we need
- 43:12Speaker 14: you to go home, and you're going to have to
- 43:15Speaker 14: get out all that and– You know, if you want
- 43:17Speaker 14: to redo whatever and come back to work, that's fine.
- 43:20Speaker 14: But this is not what we had in mind when
- 43:22Speaker 14: we wanted you to.
- 43:23Speaker 7: Dress up for Halloween.
- 43:24Speaker 1: But if you're dressed as a male zombie at a
- 43:27Speaker 1: strip joint, doesn't that clothes come off anyway when you're
- 43:29Speaker 1: on stage?
- 43:31Speaker 14: The clothes do come off. But when I neck up,
- 43:34Speaker 14: I'm like full-blown zombie. And then everything comes off. And
- 43:39Speaker 14: it just didn't go over really well.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I bet you think of that today. People would be
- 43:44Speaker 3: into it. Maybe.
- 43:45Speaker 9: I think it would work today.
- 43:46Speaker 11: It reminds me of the Mean Girls. It reminds me
- 43:49Speaker 11: of the Mean Girls movie when Katie comes in as
- 43:51Speaker 11: the dead bride and she is so scary looking compared
- 43:54Speaker 11: to everyone else in the little spooky Halloween costumes. Yes,
- 43:57Speaker 11: I can see it.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Misunderstood the assignment.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Mickey, what was your stripper name?
- 44:02Speaker 14: Actually, since my name, Mickey, is just so unusual anyway,
- 44:06Speaker 14: I never did change it.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Man, if you go to Disneyland, you wouldn't believe how
- 44:09Speaker 1: many Mickeys there are there.
- 44:12Speaker 14: I did not have to change it. I think my
- 44:14Speaker 14: mom was high when she was pregnant or when.
- 44:16Speaker 7: I was born.
- 44:17Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 44:18Speaker 14: But anyway, yeah, that's my funny Halloween story.
- 44:21Speaker 1: It is.
- 44:21Speaker 14: Yeah, I listened to you guys and I was just like,
- 44:24Speaker 14: it brought it back to mind. And yeah, stripper zombie.
- 44:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Well, thank you for calling in, Mickey. Thanks for listening.
- 44:31Speaker 9: All right, love.
- 44:32Speaker 14: Y'all have a great day.
- 44:32Speaker 1: You too. We are going to play Minute to Win It.
- 44:35Speaker 1: We need a contestant at 877-937-1047. Pilar. Pilar, good morning.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Hi, good morning.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Hi, what's up?
- 44:42Speaker 12: I had a great idea for Rich for a costume.
- 44:45Speaker 14: Oh, yeah, bring it on.
- 44:46Speaker 11: It needs to be a chip.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Fun.
- 44:50Speaker 11: And only one chip.
- 44:51Speaker 6: And somebody else can be Gladys Knight.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Are you saying that because of the clip that we
- 44:56Speaker 1: play over and over again from three years ago? Yes.
- 44:59Speaker 12: Yes, his nightmare.
- 45:01Speaker 19: Just one chip.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Thanks, Pilar. Thanks for calling in. Yeah, if you don't
- 45:05Speaker 1: know what we're talking about, Rich said this one time,
- 45:06Speaker 1: and I don't know why it's stuck with us, but
- 45:09Speaker 1: it's because the story really goes nowhere. But here's what
- 45:11Speaker 1: she's talking about, if you've never heard this before.
- 45:13Speaker 3: You know, I met Gladys Knight when I worked in Dallas.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I worked for a station that did these concerts, and
- 45:19Speaker 3: she was doing like a little show for the radio station.
- 45:22Speaker 3: They were all hanging out in rehearsals, and she walks
- 45:25Speaker 3: up to me. She's like, I'm supposed to go up
- 45:27Speaker 3: and rehearse, but I ain't had one chip.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Get me a chip.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Get me a bag of chips. So I'm like, all right,
- 45:32Speaker 3: I'll go get you a bag of chips. So I
- 45:34Speaker 3: go get her a bag of chips. Nothing said. She
- 45:36Speaker 3: does the concert. She thanks me during the show for
- 45:38Speaker 3: a bag of chips. She's like, because of this man,
- 45:40Speaker 3: I got a bag of chips. That's why I'm singing tonight.
- 45:42Speaker 1: So she was very cool.
- 45:43Speaker 3: I like her a lot. She's a cool lady.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And if that's the first time you've heard it, what's
- 45:46Speaker 1: gone viral about it is so many people– It's been animated.
- 45:50Speaker 1: And the way they imitate it is to every little, like, snort, breath, everything.
- 45:56Speaker 1: It's really, really impressive.
- 45:57Speaker 3: And that's the last time I came to work taking Dayquil. Oh,
- 46:02Speaker 3: for sure. You know how affected I am by things.
- 46:05Speaker 1: All right, so Pat Hickey's the owner, the general manager
- 46:08Speaker 1: of Peoria 4. He gave us $ 1, 000 to do a
- 46:10Speaker 1: fun little trivia game. And if you win... You get
- 46:13Speaker 1: to keep the $ 1, 000. You got to answer 10 questions
- 46:16Speaker 1: in a row in under a minute. It's been done once,
- 46:19Speaker 1: and you win the $ 1, 000. Our contestant this morning is Kelsey. Hello, Kelsey.
- 46:24Speaker 15: Hi.
- 46:25Speaker 1: What are you doing right now? Where are you?
- 46:28Speaker 6: Driving to work. I am on 7th Street.
- 46:31Speaker 1: 7th Street what?
- 46:34Speaker 6: It looks like that's Cave Creek.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Oh, wow. You're way up there.
- 46:36Speaker 14: Oh, Dunlap.
- 46:37Speaker 6: 7th Street and Dunlap. Yeah, but it's a long journey
- 46:39Speaker 6: for me.
- 46:40Speaker 1: You got a little fun fact about yourself you can
- 46:42Speaker 1: tell us?
- 46:46Speaker 6: I mean, I'm an eye doctor, so that's kind of fun.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Oh. Is that an optometrist or ophthalmologist?
- 46:56Speaker 9: Optometrist.
- 46:57Speaker 11: What's the difference?
- 46:59Speaker 6: So ophthalmologists do the surgery. They go through med school.
- 47:02Speaker 6: Optometrists go through optometry school, and we just do primary
- 47:06Speaker 6: eye care, and then we manage more mild diseases.
- 47:09Speaker 18: Okay.
- 47:10Speaker 3: That's kind of fun. She's a doctor, so she's smart.
- 47:12Speaker 3: She's going to be a smart one, yeah.
- 47:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 47:14Speaker 6: I hope you have a bunch of eye questions. Hopefully
- 47:17Speaker 6: we get an eye question.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Give her the radio version of that eye chart. Focus.
- 47:20Speaker 3: We need you to focus. Read the top line. Here
- 47:22Speaker 3: we go.
- 47:23Speaker 8: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 47:26Speaker 8: Peoria Ford right now.
- 47:27Speaker 15: Minute to win it.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Okay, Kelsey, I can see you winning this thing. 60
- 47:31Speaker 3: seconds on the clock. Get all 10 right. No misses,
- 47:35Speaker 3: and you win $ 1, 000. What 1999 found footage horror movie
- 47:39Speaker 3: follows three filmmakers lost in the Maryland woods?
- 47:43Speaker 6: The Blair Witch Project.
- 47:44Speaker 3: What car company makes the Camry in Prius?
- 47:48Speaker 9: Toyota.
- 47:50Speaker 3: What spooky TV family lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane?
- 47:55Speaker 6: The Addams Family.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Monsters! No!
- 48:00Speaker 11: Who was it?
- 48:01Speaker 3: The Monsters.
- 48:02Speaker 9: Oh.
- 48:03Speaker 6: No, I would never have gotten that.
- 48:04Speaker 8: Me neither.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Well, if you got the Artemis family, Monsters, it's basically
- 48:08Speaker 3: the same show. I don't know which one came out first.
- 48:10Speaker 8: Oh, it's a bummer, Kelsey.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 48:13Speaker 9: That's okay.
- 48:14Speaker 1: It's all right, Kelsey. Hey, you get a gift certificate
- 48:16Speaker 1: to Del Taco.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Woo-hoo.
- 48:19Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Thanks, Kelsey. Thanks for listening.
- 48:22Speaker 6: Thanks so much, guys.
- 48:23Speaker 16: Bye.
- 48:26Speaker 1: She was a fun contestant. Hi, Stephanie. Stephanie got a
- 48:28Speaker 1: comment on War of the Roses.
- 48:31Speaker 9: Hi, yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 14: I was just sent in a text message about hearing
- 48:36Speaker 14: that he said the strip club has the best wings.
- 48:38Speaker 14: And if he was talking about Jags, they really.
- 48:41Speaker 9: Do have the best wings.
- 48:43Speaker 3: How do you know?
- 48:44Speaker 14: I used to go there for amateur nights back in
- 48:49Speaker 14: the day.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Amateur night? Like anybody can get on stage and just
- 48:53Speaker 3: shake their thing?
- 48:54Speaker 14: Anybody.
- 48:54Speaker 10: Oh, wow.
- 48:57Speaker 3: That sounds like that might be.
- 48:58Speaker 8: Did you then eventually become a professional?
- 49:02Speaker 10: No, I would never go up there.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 49:04Speaker 11: I feel like it would be such a fun girls' night. Like,
- 49:05Speaker 11: just go up there.
- 49:07Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:08Speaker 14: It was like girls' night.
- 49:09Speaker 10: They could win money and bottle service.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. And how naked do you get on amateur night?
- 49:15Speaker 9: I think they just, like, go topless.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Max oh we should go do that you guys the
- 49:19Speaker 3: four of us yeah it's kind of like uh it's
- 49:21Speaker 3: like naked karaoke kind of you know it's like just
- 49:24Speaker 3: show what you.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Got it's so much fun it's so.
- 49:27Speaker 23: Funny because there's a variety of people out there that's
- 49:31Speaker 23: wild that's the girl.
- 49:32Speaker 14: Yeah you want the best things i swear.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Jags That was probably where she was calling from.
- 49:36Speaker 1: All right. Thanks, Stephanie.
- 49:39Speaker 3: We got to voucher.
- 49:39Speaker 9: Love you guys.
- 49:40Speaker 18: Bye.
- 49:42Speaker 1: So there's a new article which argues that parents should
- 49:46Speaker 1: eat their kids' Halloween candy with them. With them. I
- 49:50Speaker 1: don't know. What do you do, Kyle? Would you eat
- 49:51Speaker 1: the candy with the kids?
- 49:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:53Speaker 1: There's a psychiatrist from Psychology Today, Erin Parks, says that
- 49:58Speaker 1: she has a couple things. She says these are five
- 50:00Speaker 1: rules when it comes to Halloween candy with kids. Don't
- 50:02Speaker 1: moralize food, even candy. The goodness and badness of any
- 50:05Speaker 1: food is subjective, she says, so it's not junk food
- 50:08Speaker 1: or sugar. Call it what it is, Halloween candy. So
- 50:10Speaker 1: that way you don't think, oh, this is bad, this
- 50:12Speaker 1: is good, oh, you eat a Snickers, you know. Don't
- 50:15Speaker 1: punish yourself or others for eating candy. She says, nothing
- 50:18Speaker 1: is bad, nothing bad will happen. Your kids will not
- 50:20Speaker 1: magically wake up with diabetes. You'll not wake up weighing
- 50:23Speaker 1: a whole bunch of weight. Just eat the candy and
- 50:25Speaker 1: have fun. Embrace food as cultural and fun, she says.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Talk about which candy you enjoyed as a child and
- 50:31Speaker 1: watch them sort out their candy and have fun with them.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Remove the sense of scarcity. Forget limits like having one
- 50:39Speaker 1: piece per day or throwing out all the candy after
- 50:41Speaker 1: a week. She says that's bad and it messes with
- 50:43Speaker 1: their kids' brains as they get older for some reason.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Then she says, my kids can have as much Halloween
- 50:48Speaker 1: candy as they want whenever they want. Eat candy. Yes, you,
- 50:52Speaker 1: the parent. She says, you may not have a good
- 50:55Speaker 1: relationship with food or with your body, but you can
- 50:57Speaker 1: fake it till you make it. I cannot overemphasize the
- 51:00Speaker 1: power of kids seeing their parents happily eat candy and
- 51:03Speaker 1: have a good time.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 51:05Speaker 11: I agree with.
- 51:06Speaker 8: Some of that.
- 51:08Speaker 1: You do?
- 51:09Speaker 8: Yeah, but, like, as much candy as they want any time,
- 51:12Speaker 8: they want, like, it's like you also have to sort
- 51:14Speaker 8: of teach moderation.
- 51:16Speaker 7: Too, right?
- 51:16Speaker 1: What are you doing at 7 o'clock on a Thursday?
- 51:18Speaker 1: 7 p.m. on a Thursday, you don't eat candy.
- 51:20Speaker 3: We don't eat dinner.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Because then what happens if you get in a situation
- 51:22Speaker 1: like my son, Dutch, he wakes up and has Sour
- 51:24Speaker 1: Patch Kids for breakfast. I'm like, no.
- 51:27Speaker 3: He, Dutch, he lives his best life all the time.
- 51:30Speaker 3: All the time.
- 51:31Speaker 2: That's true.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Hey, we got another $ 1, 000 that could be yours in
- 51:34Speaker 1: less than 20 minutes. We're going to pay your bills.
- 51:36Speaker 1: So when you hear the keyword, enter it at 1047kissfm. com.
- 51:40Speaker 1: You get qualified. And if you win the $ 1, 000, you're
- 51:42Speaker 1: getting thrown in the hopper for a shot at a
- 51:45Speaker 1: once-in-a-lifetime trip to our iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York
- 51:48Speaker 1: City at Madison Square Garden. We are going to get
- 51:50Speaker 1: into this. Think about Halloween costumes and this Halloween weekend.
- 51:54Speaker 1: And think about the parties from last weekend. What costumes
- 51:58Speaker 1: give you the ick? 877-937-1047. That's next with John Jay
- 52:02Speaker 1: and Rich. Nothing on your back. Nothing on your back.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Nothing on your back. Hey, I was going to get
- 52:12Speaker 1: into this article I saw about millennials are confused by
- 52:16Speaker 1: Gen Z's dating habits. And the first thing it says,
- 52:20Speaker 1: and I'm just going to go off this one thing
- 52:22Speaker 1: and peel back the layers. It says, Gen Z gets
- 52:25Speaker 1: the ick over the smallest things. It says, sure, if
- 52:30Speaker 1: something's a deal breaker, you would want to be that person,
- 52:32Speaker 1: but ghosting someone over something silly is very weird to me.
- 52:35Speaker 1: And they made me think about Halloween. And I want
- 52:38Speaker 1: to know if there's anybody that immediately gets the ick
- 52:42Speaker 1: by a Halloween costume.
- 52:44Speaker 9: Oh.
- 52:44Speaker 14: And why?
- 52:45Speaker 1: All right, so 877-937-1047.
- 52:49Speaker 11: Oh, I feel like I.
- 52:50Speaker 1: You got one?
- 52:50Speaker 11: Yeah, I feel like if, like, in general, like, if
- 52:53Speaker 11: you dress up as someone that, like, people don't like
- 52:56Speaker 11: or hate just to get a reaction out of people, like,
- 52:59Speaker 11: your costume gets on my nerves. Like, you know what
- 53:01Speaker 11: I mean? Like, if you, like, dress up as, like, Dahmer, why?
- 53:04Speaker 11: He's gross.
- 53:06Speaker 1: But when you get the ick, like let's say you're
- 53:07Speaker 1: single and Kadeem walks into the party and he's dressed
- 53:11Speaker 1: as Michael Phelps in a Speedo. Do you get the
- 53:14Speaker 1: ick and go, oh God, I'm not going to go
- 53:15Speaker 1: that guy. I don't know.
- 53:16Speaker 11: I might like what he's packing.
- 53:17Speaker 8: It just depends on what he looks like.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Chloe, what Halloween costume is immediate ick for you and why?
- 53:26Speaker 15: It's that inflatable T-Rex.
- 53:30Speaker 1: We did that one year.
- 53:31Speaker 3: We did.
- 53:31Speaker 8: Those are funny running videos.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fun.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Well, let's find out why. Why is that the ick
- 53:37Speaker 1: for you?
- 53:37Speaker 15: Okay, I hooked up with this guy, and he was
- 53:39Speaker 15: wearing one. And then the next morning, he refused to
- 53:43Speaker 15: take it off. I was a little, like, baffled by it,
- 53:47Speaker 15: but he was serious.
- 53:48Speaker 6: So he wore it, just disclosure.
- 53:50Speaker 9: He wore it while we hooked up.
- 53:52Speaker 15: Somehow, he made it work that night. It was kind
- 53:55Speaker 15: of awkward, but it was fine.
- 53:56Speaker 7: And then....
- 53:58Speaker 15: He said he wanted to just like keep the bit
- 54:00Speaker 15: going in the morning. So he was still inflated when
- 54:03Speaker 15: he walked into his kitchen to make his breakfast. And
- 54:06Speaker 15: I was literally holding back tears. I'm like, this can't
- 54:09Speaker 15: be serious. But he couldn't reach for anything. He kept
- 54:12Speaker 15: knocking over stuff like water and. like closing cabinets.
- 54:16Speaker 3: I mean, eventually he got.
- 54:18Speaker 15: Like stuck sideways in the hallway and he refused to
- 54:21Speaker 15: take it off.
- 54:22Speaker 9: It was crazy.
- 54:23Speaker 15: And it just went, it kind of went from like
- 54:26Speaker 15: funny to being.
- 54:27Speaker 14: Weird, you know? Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 11: And especially too, because those inflatable like costumes, they have
- 54:32Speaker 11: that like really annoying fan that goes the whole time,
- 54:35Speaker 11: the whole time.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 3: That's irritating.
- 54:38Speaker 8: Okay, okay.
- 54:39Speaker 22: So it helps.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Oh, right.
- 54:41Speaker 11: That would make sense.
- 54:42Speaker 3: He kept it on when you were sleeping?
- 54:43Speaker 15: He kept it on the entire time.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Ew.
- 54:45Speaker 8: That's not even comfortable for him. Like, it's hard to
- 54:47Speaker 8: breathe in those things.
- 54:48Speaker 11: I'm sure that thing stunk.
- 54:49Speaker 1: You said he wanted to keep the bit going, so
- 54:51Speaker 1: he was still inflated when he walked into the kitchen.
- 54:53Speaker 1: When you say inflated, do you mean the costume, or
- 54:56Speaker 1: do you mean he was excited to see you?
- 54:58Speaker 8: Oh, geez.
- 54:59Speaker 15: Yeah, I wish it was the latter, but no, it.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Was a costume. Okay, so then you guys got intimate,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and he kept the dinosaur costume on. That's what you're saying. Yeah, nighttime.
- 55:08Speaker 9: I mean, I was a little tipsy. I mean, it
- 55:10Speaker 9: was a little weird, but I was like, okay.
- 55:12Speaker 3: And it made it work.
- 55:13Speaker 1: It was fine. It made it work. So that would
- 55:14Speaker 1: be like, if he made it work, because I remember
- 55:16Speaker 1: when we had those costumes on, I'm assuming then he
- 55:18Speaker 1: didn't have to wear a condom.
- 55:20Speaker 8: No, he did.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Okay, good. Yeah, you would need to.
- 55:24Speaker 8: Because if you unzip it, the air comes out.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Maybe he cut a hole. I'm saying he used the
- 55:27Speaker 1: costume as a condom if it stayed on the whole time.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no hole.
- 55:31Speaker 10: How would it hurt?
- 55:31Speaker 9: The air comes out.
- 55:32Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to figure out how the logistics...
- 55:35Speaker 1: That is twisted.
- 55:36Speaker 8: He cut a hole.
- 55:37Speaker 15: I didn't even know where your brain went there.
- 55:38Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 55:39Speaker 7: No, there was.
- 55:41Speaker 15: extra protection then.
- 55:43Speaker 1: So hard to visualize this whole thing.
- 55:45Speaker 3: I know, I know.
- 55:45Speaker 8: I'm very confused.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Now, also, I know that there are people that had
- 55:48Speaker 1: these weird latex fetishes. Have you seen that?
- 55:50Speaker 11: No.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I wonder if he's one of those guys. Look it up.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Look it up. It's quite crazy.
- 55:54Speaker 15: I don't know.
- 55:54Speaker 8: I'll just take your word for it.
- 55:56Speaker 15: There's inflatable T-Rex or plastic. Like, latex at least would feel.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Well, I said latex, but maybe he has a plastic fetish.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Maybe he has something... I mean, that's weird. I mean,
- 56:04Speaker 1: it is very, very weird to do that. What was
- 56:07Speaker 1: your costume?
- 56:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:08Speaker 15: I was a French maid.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 56:11Speaker 15: All right.
- 56:11Speaker 8: Classic. Oh, oh my gosh. John Jay.
- 56:14Speaker 9: What?
- 56:15Speaker 8: There's an inflatable fetish.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Oh, see, there you go.
- 56:18Speaker 8: It's called inflatophilia.
- 56:20Speaker 11: Ew.
- 56:21Speaker 1: See, there you go.
- 56:22Speaker 11: When you add a philia, it makes it creepy.
- 56:24Speaker 1: It makes it worse.
- 56:25Speaker 3: I mean, I knew there was something.
- 56:29Speaker 1: See what I mean? That's a new one for me.
- 56:32Speaker 1: And I'm the one that told you about the latex fetish.
- 56:36Speaker 15: You found it.
- 56:36Speaker 1: All right. Well, thank you for calling in and sharing
- 56:38Speaker 1: that with us, Chloe. Lydia, good morning.
- 56:41Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 56:43Speaker 1: All right, so we want to know what Halloween costume
- 56:45Speaker 1: immediately gave you the ick and why.
- 56:48Speaker 22: Guys dressed as vampires.
- 56:51Speaker 19: Why?
- 56:52Speaker 14: And the reason, this is why.
- 56:55Speaker 22: Because I was at a Halloween party one night and
- 56:59Speaker 22: I hooked up with this.
- 57:00Speaker 15: Guy that was dressed as a vampire.
- 57:02Speaker 22: We go back to my place, he's kissing me. He's like,
- 57:04Speaker 22: I've been told I leave a mark.
- 57:06Speaker 9: I'm like, okay, whatever.
- 57:07Speaker 14: So we're making out. Go to sleep. I wake up.
- 57:10Speaker 14: He's already gone.
- 57:11Speaker 22: I get dressed and I look in the mirror and
- 57:14Speaker 22: I have hickeys on my neck all over my body.
- 57:18Speaker 14: I didn't even realize he was on my.
- 57:20Speaker 11: Calf, sucking my calf.
- 57:22Speaker 10: And I had, yeah, they were everywhere.
- 57:25Speaker 22: I had brunch with my mom that day.
- 57:28Speaker 10: I had to wear like a turtleneck and covered pants.
- 57:33Speaker 9: And I'm like, oh, I'm just cold.
- 57:35Speaker 11: Oh, my gosh. Hiding Yankees from your parents is like
- 57:38Speaker 11: a nightmare in itself.
- 57:40Speaker 3: Also, not knowing many of them are happening, because it
- 57:42Speaker 3: sounds like there were many.
- 57:43Speaker 11: She was just like, it was a wild night. She
- 57:46Speaker 11: was all over you.
- 57:47Speaker 16: It was a wild night.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I tell you, the visual of the Catholic is pretty exciting. Wow,
- 57:52Speaker 1: very nice. Okay, so now you see a vampire like, no,
- 57:55Speaker 1: forget it. I would think it'd be the other way around.
- 57:57Speaker 1: That was a lot of fun. Let's go.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Don't we have the freakiest listeners? We do.
- 58:00Speaker 11: At least he was just sucking and not biting because
- 58:02Speaker 11: that would be like a bruise. Like, you know?
- 58:04Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 1: All right, Lydia. Well, thank you very much for calling in.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Should I go over the rest of the list of
- 58:11Speaker 1: the ick? Yeah. Sure. It was like millennials are confused
- 58:14Speaker 1: by Gen Z's dating habits. Number one, Gen Z gets
- 58:16Speaker 1: the ick over the smallest things. Gen Z will call
- 58:19Speaker 1: something a red flag when it's actually a green flag
- 58:22Speaker 1: just because it gives them the ick. They'll turn around
- 58:24Speaker 1: and celebrate actual red flags is what they say. The
- 58:28Speaker 1: whole exclusive but not official dating phase that Gen Z
- 58:30Speaker 1: has normalized just seems like an excuse to avoid commitment.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Gen Z men feel like they need to fake confidence,
- 58:36Speaker 1: act serious, and be nonchalant all the time. There's no
- 58:38Speaker 1: need to put that act on just to seem attractive.
- 58:42Speaker 1: People don't want to deal with someone's minor flaws anymore.
- 58:44Speaker 1: It's easy to reject John or Mary over something like
- 58:47Speaker 1: being untidy or impatient when you think there's a perfect
- 58:50Speaker 1: person waiting just a few swipes away.
- 58:52Speaker 11: I just feel like these are all, I don't know,
- 58:54Speaker 11: maybe having standards?
- 58:57Speaker 1: Boundaries, maybe? Millennials say there's way too much therapy speak
- 59:01Speaker 1: and way too much expectations from people who barely have
- 59:03Speaker 1: any life experience or any real knowledge.
- 59:06Speaker 11: Everyone needs to step up their game is what I'm hearing.
- 59:10Speaker 1: So that's just some stuff about millennials that are confused
- 59:12Speaker 1: about Gen Z dating habits. And of course, we'd be
- 59:15Speaker 1: more than happy to continue talking to you about what
- 59:17Speaker 1: Halloween costumes give you the ick.
- 59:19Speaker 9: 877-937-1047.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Halloween costumes that give you the ick.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Caitlin, good morning.
- 59:40Speaker 12: Good morning.
- 59:42Speaker 5: What do you got?
- 59:44Speaker 12: Okay, so I've experienced this multiple times and unfortunately also
- 59:50Speaker 12: an ex-boyfriend, but I Any guy who dresses like the Joker,
- 59:56Speaker 12: like specifically from the Heath Ledger version. It's, like, they
- 1:00:02Speaker 12: think that they are also Heath Ledger-level actors. And they just, like, it, like, also,
- 1:00:09Speaker 12: they just have, the costume comes with this, like, really
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: gross persona.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: And, like, that they are good enough to, like, do that.
- 1:00:17Speaker 12: And it usually, like, the guy will do the tongue thing.
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: Do you know what I'm talking about?
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Yeah. We don't like that. Or he's kind of slobbering
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: through his speak.
- 1:00:24Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:00:26Speaker 15: Yes.
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: Like, why?
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: I can only go audition for a play or something.
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: Not here, not now.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: All right, Caitlin. That's good. That's good. All right. Thank you.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Thanks for listening. Thanks for calling in.
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: Of course.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Hi, Carrie.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: What's a costume that gives you the ick?
- 1:00:43Speaker 23: Good morning, guys.
- 1:00:44Speaker 10: How are you?
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: Good.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: How are you?
- 1:00:46Speaker 23: Not too bad, thanks.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: So I am.
- 1:00:50Speaker 23: an emergency room nurse. So anytime I see someone in
- 1:00:54Speaker 23: a sexy nurse costume, it gives me the ick because
- 1:00:56Speaker 23: I can tell you no nurse feels sexy ever.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Hey, being an emergency room nurse, have you seen some
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: crazy stuff?
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You have no idea. Give us a little bit. Like what?
- 1:01:10Speaker 23: Oh, I mean, I've seen people hit by trains. I've
- 1:01:13Speaker 23: seen gunshot wounds. You name it, I've seen it.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: When someone gets hit by a train, What do they
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: look like when they come in?
- 1:01:22Speaker 23: Not like a human.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Do they survive? Have you seen people hit by a
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: train and they survived?
- 1:01:28Speaker 23: No, unfortunately not.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: What about wounds, like anything awkward that's different? Like I
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: would assume you get hit by a train, you go
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to the emergency room. What's something that someone's come in
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: there for and you're like, whoa, this truly is a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: bizarre emergency.
- 1:01:41Speaker 23: Oh, anything that's a foreign object in a hole that
- 1:01:44Speaker 23: shouldn't be there is always fine.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Like what? What foreign object have you taken out of
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: a hole like that?
- 1:01:51Speaker 23: We had a wrench once.
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: They fell on a wrench in the shower.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Happens all the time.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Probably trying to fix the shower.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: What else?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Oh, chopsticks.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Oh. You're eating food in the shower.
- 1:02:05Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: It was in the back end.
- 1:02:08Speaker 23: It was in the front end on a male.
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: Oh, my goodness.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: That's just making bad life choices.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Holy smokes. That just messed up the way I'm sitting. Yikes.
- 1:02:20Speaker 14: All right.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: We'll leave it at that one right there, Carrie. Thank
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you very much.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: She scared me half to death.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: You're welcome. Holy smokes. Oh, my gosh.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:02:29Speaker 11: I did not like that visual.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: That was painful.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: That gave me the ick.
- 1:02:32Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Diana's got a spooky job right diana so we've been
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: doing this all week so we want to get into
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you share with us you describe your job in as
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: little words as possible but make it kind of sound
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: mysterious and creepy okay diana.
- 1:02:47Speaker 20: Okay are you ready yeah okay i'm trapped in a
- 1:02:52Speaker 20: 40 foot box full of really needy people For several
- 1:02:58Speaker 20: hours during the day, there's screaming and crying and possible
- 1:03:03Speaker 20: body fluids everywhere.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Great school.
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: Take care.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:09Speaker 20: School bus driver.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: School bus driver.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Okay. That's good. Yeah, that's good. Well, thank you for
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: doing what you do.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: And thanks for listening to us on the bus. That's
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: got to be nice for the kids.
- 1:03:25Speaker 20: Um, yeah, I turn it down a lot.
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: Well, considering the last call, I kid why.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Chopsticks? Probably turn it down a little for the chopsticks.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: All right, Diana. Drive safe. Thanks for calling in.
- 1:03:36Speaker 20: Hey, thank you.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: Bye.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Michael, what's your spooky job?
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: Can you guys hear me well? Because I'm going to
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: whisper for this one.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Through my screen, I can see dead people.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You can see dead people? That's your job? Through your screen.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: What was that?
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Here, I'll say it again. Through a screen, I can
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: see dead people.
- 1:04:01Speaker 11: Through a screen, I can see dead people.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Through a screen. Oh, he works at a cemetery for security.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: This one's not a gimme, but it's not impossible.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Through a screen, I can see dead people.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Do you play Call of Duty? Are you a Call
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: of Duty test market person?
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: That's a good one, but no.
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: I got it. I got it. I totally got it.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: You must do life insurance. So people die and you
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: pay off life insurance, but you got to see it
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: on the screen.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: Okay, three strikes, you're out.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Do you want to know?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what is it?
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: So I'm a consultant for a large electronic health record
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: software company. And through my computer screen at work, I'm
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: quite often in deceased patients' medical records.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Yeah, we wouldn't have gotten that one. That's so fun.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: I mean, you described it. That's the whole thing.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Thanks, Michael. Thanks, dude. All right, have a good day.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Bye.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Nate, good morning. Go ahead. Describe your job using as
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: little words as possible. Make it sound creepy and spooky
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and mysterious.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:05:02Speaker 21: I make soup out of your skin. I peel your
- 1:05:06Speaker 21: liver and I squeeze the jelly from your eyes.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: All right. Let me tell you something. You did a
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: really good job of making it creepy and mysterious and spooky.
- 1:05:13Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: You make soup from our skin?
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:05:18Speaker 21: Squeeze the jelly from your eyes and shave your liver.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Do something in.
- 1:05:24Speaker 11: The medical field with donors.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You're a cannibal.
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: Are you a butcher?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: I'm Shrek.
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: You're an ogre?
- 1:05:33Speaker 17: You remember?
- 1:05:35Speaker 21: I said this completely as a joke. I didn't think
- 1:05:37Speaker 21: it would actually go. But you remember in the movie Shrek,
- 1:05:42Speaker 21: the very first one, they come to try and attack Shrek.
- 1:05:44Speaker 21: He scares all the guys coming to eat him. And
- 1:05:48Speaker 21: then they were like, oh, no, ogres are much worse.
- 1:05:50Speaker 21: I'll make soup from your skin.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:05:53Speaker 21: When everyone comes in with some fish.
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: Forks, yes.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: You're not even going to give us a real job.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: An ogre's a real job.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: You're trying to pull one over our eyes. Okay, thanks, Nate.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I appreciate that. All right, Justice, I hope this is
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: a real job.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Yeah, we were being serious.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Justice, give us a real job. Describe it mysteriously using
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: as little words as possible. Go ahead.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Okay, all right. I hope people thrive. with parts of
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: their intestines sticking out of their bellies.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Gross. Okay, say it again.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: I help people thrive with parts of their intestines sticking
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: out of their bellies.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I'm assuming you're a surgeon.
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe fixes hernias? Does hernia surgeries?
- 1:06:42Speaker 13: No.
- 1:06:43Speaker 17: No.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Something with an umbilical cord, maybe?
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Um, no, no, nothing to do with umbilical cords. It's
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: like something with.
- 1:06:57Speaker 16: The colon, colonoscopy things, gastrointestinal person, the person that does that,
- 1:07:01Speaker 16: the person that does the, that does the, the, the
- 1:07:03Speaker 16: sleeve over their stomach so they can lose weight.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Um, well, no, are you ready?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Ready.
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: I am actually the president of the United ostomy associations
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: of America. And, um, That's what we do. You know,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: people have surgeries and have ostomies, if you know what
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: that is.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: It's an opening. It's like if you have colon cancer
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: or bladder cancer, something like that, they might have to
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: remove part of your colon. And so they make a
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: stoma that comes out of your belly.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: And you glue a bag onto your belly to hold
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: the waste together. Uh, you, you maybe heard of colostomies.
- 1:07:49Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: You didn't, you didn't even have to make that sound creepy.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: You were just telling us what you do. You know, Hey, justice, justice.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I was, I was watching the Matthew Perry documentary on Netflix.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: It's number one on Netflix. Exactly. And he talks and
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I didn't know this happened to him. He got rushed
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to the emergency room, his, his colon ruptured and he
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: was in the hospital for three months. And they had
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: to put a, yeah, he had to wear a colostomy bag.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I mean, it gets pretty descriptive of what happens with
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the colostomy bag. But is that something that, did he
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: have a colostomy bag forever or can you get rid
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: of it? Do you know?
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Well, you know, it depends on the reason why you
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: got it. I had prostate cancer and the radiation burned
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: holes in my large intestine. So they had to isolate
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: that for a while while it healed. And so I
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: had a, it was called an ileostomy, where the small
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: intestine was out through my belly for about four and
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: a half years while my large intestine healed. And then
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: I had it reversed. But there are other people that
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: have cancer and diseases, things like that, that once they
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: get them, they're there for life. But they're lifesavers. Nobody
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: wants one.
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: No, of course.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: It's, you know, and I mean, if you can imagine being,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: let's say you're 16 years old or maybe 20 years
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: old or 75, you know, and you have one of
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: these and you want to date again. And it's like,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: holy cow. How do I tell this person about this?
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: When do I tell them?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: That's tough, man.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: You know, and people, I was almost a hermit before
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I found this organization. And even though I've had mine reversed,
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: I'm sticking around because these guys saved my life. Right on.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: And it's not really a job. I'm a volunteer.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Okay. Unless you called into the wrong segment. We wanted
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: you to, if you're a volunteer, call us.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Kyle.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Let's get into the entertainment news campaign. What's trending?
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: Remember that viral picture of Prince William with his kids
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: meeting Taylor Swift at the Heiress Tour and Travis Kelsey
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: is in it. And if you remember, that was like
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: their very first public picture together that they posted. I mean,
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: we saw them On the dates, we saw the paparazzi pictures,
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: but that was the one. And the funny thing is,
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: is Prince William didn't want it that way, shared that,
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: and now we're hearing Travis Kelsey's response to that.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Friend of the show, Prince William, was on the Graham
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Norton show and joked that he tried to move Travis
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Kelsey out of the photo he took at the Heiress
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Tour in 2024. I get it, man. I think we
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: all get it. I was just a boyfriend at that point,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you know? I wasn't her husband yet. You don't really
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: know if this is going to last, so it's kind of.
- 1:10:42Speaker 16: Just move out of the way real quick.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: So we can keep this photo forever? Yeah.
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: It's hilarious. And he admits that and he gets it,
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: which I think that's one very lovable thing about Travis Kelsey.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: You know, when you see people laugh and it's a
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: real laugh, you laugh with them. I posted a video
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: on my Instagram from the New Heights podcast. It's both,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: it's Travis and Jason and they called her dad. So
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: they call it on speakerphone and then they bleep something.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: And both these guys laugh for like a minute and
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: they're crying laughing.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: It is so much fun just to watch. It's great.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: And also if you, if it made me miss my
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: parents so much, but yeah, they.
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: Have a great relationship. If you grew up watching Disney channel,
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: it's going to make you so nostalgic. Delina is back.
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato just reunited to recreate their
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: vlogs from 2008. And it's so cute. It's got, it's like,
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: It's pretty much all for Selena's rare beauty, but it's
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: just cute to hear them together again.
- 1:11:37Speaker 21: Wait a minute.
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: Who's your crush? What are you on the set of?
- 1:11:49Speaker 11: Oh, so cute.
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: Like I said, it's all for, you know, Selena Gomez's
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: Rare Beauty. It's like a launch of their blush and whatnot.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: But so cute to see them back together.
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: I literally freaked out because I was like 10 sitting
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: at my computer on YouTube watching these vlogs. They did
- 1:12:11Speaker 11: like a cute little room tour. And if you look around,
- 1:12:13Speaker 11: it's like totally what our rooms looked like 15 years ago.
- 1:12:16Speaker 11: They had like the little bulletin board. I was just like,
- 1:12:19Speaker 11: give us another princess protection program right now.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: Well, and Selena then said, I'm so glad we're in
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: a place now where we can do stuff like this together.
- 1:12:27Speaker 11: Yeah, because they fell off for a little bit. I mean,
- 1:12:29Speaker 11: but they were literally on Barney together. Like, they grew
- 1:12:31Speaker 11: up together.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Oh, that's right.
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: So I'm glad that they are, like, back together and
- 1:12:35Speaker 11: all of our Disney girlies are just thriving right now.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: Yeah, when you see friends like that... It's like they
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: understand each other on a different level because of everything
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: they've been through. So, yeah, definitely good to see them together. Now,
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: speaking of Selena Gomez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, for whatever reason,
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: wanted to just remind everybody that she can sing. So
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: she posted an emotional cover of Selena Gomez, Lose You
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: to Love Me. And people are like now begging her
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: to go on tour.
- 1:12:58Speaker 11: I needed to hate you to love me.
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: To love, love you.
- 1:13:02Speaker 11: To love, love you.
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: To love you, yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: Their fans are loving it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Can we have her in here to sing at some point?
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: She was in here many times.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: She was always cool to this show.
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: A different Jennifer. Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about being
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: really uncomfortable on set one time filming a nude scene.
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: She says she discovered people on the set who weren't
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: actually authorized to be there and decided to immediately call
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: them out and for a very specific purpose.
- 1:13:36Speaker 19: I speak up more because I'm also aware of the
- 1:13:39Speaker 19: place that I have in the industry. So like there
- 1:13:42Speaker 19: was like an instance on set where crew members who
- 1:13:44Speaker 19: weren't approved when I was like doing nudity, you know,
- 1:13:47Speaker 19: we're on set or something. And I came down hard
- 1:13:49Speaker 19: on it purely because if, if we're not setting that
- 1:13:52Speaker 19: kind of principle at the level at which we're doing
- 1:13:54Speaker 19: it right now, you know, then what on earth is
- 1:13:56Speaker 19: going to happen to an 18 year old unknown? She's
- 1:13:59Speaker 19: going to be in a position like, do I say
- 1:14:01Speaker 19: something and get a reputation for being difficult? Or do
- 1:14:04Speaker 19: I just let these people that I'm not comfortable seeing
- 1:14:07Speaker 19: me naked? So it was important to me to explain
- 1:14:09Speaker 19: that why that was not okay.
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: Setting a precedent. I loved that whole interview. Like, it
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: just makes you really, if you didn't already love Jennifer Lawrence, like,
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: love her that much more. She speaks her mind. She
- 1:14:20Speaker 11: is absolutely herself. Such a good one. Okay. The police
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: investigation into the passing of Hayden Panettiere, it is officially closed.
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: They did rule her death as an accidental drug overdose
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: involving fentanyl. So I know there was some drama or
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: some talks that her on-and-off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson— may have
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: something to do with this. But police said that he
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: cooperated with the authorities, he was responsive, so he is
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: completely in the clear legally.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: You know what, it's kind of like, if you think
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: about it, the Matthew Perry documentary, they talk about when
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: he died, it wasn't going to be a criminal investigation,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: but then they took both the phones from the assistant
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and from Matthew Perry, and you see the text messages,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: and that's what made them lead into an investigation to
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: find out that there was... It's craziness. So I could
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: see why they would dig into that. But you find
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: you do a dig into that, you find out that
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: it was not, there was no criminal activity. And that
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Matthew Perry documentary just messed me up.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: It's really well done.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: It's really well done.
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: But it is so sad.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: So sad.
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: Especially when you see the very end, when they did
- 1:15:24Speaker 8: the investigation on his death and they talk about the
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: text messages back and forth between the doctors saying, let's
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: see what this moron will pay for it this time.
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: Like the drugs that killed him.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: And one lady, I mean, I know it was just
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: recently when she got 15 years.
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: And the assistant got three years.
- 1:15:39Speaker 8: He was a ketamine queen.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: The assistant that knew him for 30 years.
- 1:15:42Speaker 21: I know.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. You love him so much. It's so sad.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: And it's number one on that. It's beating. Nobody beat this.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Nobody wants this.
- 1:15:49Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I thought it would be under a category of movies,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: but it's not. Because it's a three episode.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Well, it's a couple. Yeah, it's not.
- 1:15:55Speaker 23: Right.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I know. I was bummed out, though, that nobody wants this.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: It's not number one anymore.
- 1:15:59Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 1:16:00Speaker 19: Anyway.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Kanye's going to be here at State Farm Stadium next month.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: We have free tickets. 877-937-1047. You've got to win Monster Match.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: You win that, you're going to the show. We're playing
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: after Bieber. We got Kanye tickets. We're going to play
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Monster Match. Karina, good morning.
- 1:16:33Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: You a Kanye fan? Yes?
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, of course I am.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Okay. I'm hoping, and I posted this the other day.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I'm hoping Kanye and Jay-Z fix their beef so that
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Kanye can pop up at the Super Bowl.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: That'd be awesome.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: That'd be great. All right.
- 1:16:50Speaker 10: That would be great.
- 1:16:51Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: All right, let's play, Rich. They did the monster match.
- 1:16:55Speaker 11: They did the match.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: It was a radio smash.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: They did the match.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: They did the monster match.
- 1:17:03Speaker 18: John Jay and Rich present the monster match.
- 1:17:07Speaker 14: Mwahaha.
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: Mwahaha.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: All right, Karina, you go first. From what scary movie
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: does this come?
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: All right, it's 918.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: We're headed down into the cellar where the door's just
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: opened on its own. Give us a sign that you
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: want to communicate with us.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: What are you guys?
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Well, we've been called ghost hunters, paranormal researchers.
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: But we prefer to be known simply as Ed and
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: Lorraine Warren.
- 1:17:36Speaker 14: Ghost hunters?
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry, that is incorrect. Chance to steal. Go ahead, Peyton.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: I feel like these are so hard because Ed and
- 1:17:45Speaker 11: Lorraine Warren are both in The Conjuring and in Insidious.
- 1:17:49Speaker 11: So I'm just going to go with The Conjuring.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: The Conjuring is correct. Peyton on the board. John Jay,
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: in what 2018 movie do John Krasinski and Emily Blunt
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: have to stay quiet to survive?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: A Quiet Place.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: A Quiet Place is correct. Kyle, what is the name
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: of the haunted hotel... In The Shining.
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: Oh, man.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: I'll even take the real name because we stayed there.
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: I should know this. The Hyatt.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: It is not The Hyatt.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I can't remember.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: The Hyatt has free breakfast. This has ghosts. That would
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: be a scary movie. The Hyatt free brunch up until today.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: What was the name of it? Okay, the one we
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: stayed at was The Stanley, which... In The Shining was
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: called The Overlook Hotel. I would have never gotten that. Yeah,
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: would have gotten that. All right, Peyton, what monsters did
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: the kids fight in the first season of Stranger Things?
- 1:18:48Speaker 11: Demogorgons.
- 1:18:49Speaker 14: Demogorgons.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Is correct. Back to you, Karina. What horror movie features
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: a killer robot doll who does a viral dance?
- 1:19:02Speaker 14: Oh, my goodness.
- 1:19:07Speaker 10: Robert the Dog?
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: No, I am so sorry. Steel for Peyton.
- 1:19:11Speaker 14: Megan.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Running away with it with Megan.
- 1:19:13Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: John Jay. What is the name of the cute furry
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: mugwai in Gremlins?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Gizmo.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Gizmo is correct. Is it a Christmas movie or a
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: horror movie?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I think it's both.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: I think it's both.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Both things can be true.
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: Both.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: All right. Kyle. I need the name of the vampire
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Robert Pattinson plays in Twilight.
- 1:19:37Speaker 19: Okay.
- 1:19:38Speaker 8: It's Edward.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: I'll take it. Edward Cullen, if you wanted extra points,
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: but that's okay. All right, Peyton, for you. What cannibal
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: psychiatrist did Anthony Hopkins play in Silence of the Lambs?
- 1:19:53Speaker 11: What cannibal psychiatrist in Silence of the.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Famous movie.
- 1:19:58Speaker 11: Hannibal Lecter.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Hannibal Lecter is correct. Three for three bonus question for you, Karina,
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: just because you're doing such a great job. I need
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: the full name of the hockey mask killer in Friday
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: the 13th.
- 1:20:12Speaker 14: Hockey mask killer?
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: In Friday the 13th, also featured in Crystal Lake, the
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: new TV series.
- 1:20:25Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 1:20:27Speaker 14: Jason?
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Jason is correct. Jason Voorhees for the full answer. And
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: that is good enough for a win for you for
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: the Monster Man.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Thank you. You can go see Kanye West. Yay. Hold on. Yay,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you win. Ariana, good morning. I understand you have a
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: spooky job. Tell us about it.
- 1:20:46Speaker 10: Hi, good morning.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: Okay, so.
- 1:20:49Speaker 12: I use sharp objects on people and cover them in chemicals.
- 1:20:54Speaker 10: Oh, I know.
- 1:21:00Speaker 11: You do like facials or dermaplane or something like that.
- 1:21:04Speaker 17: Not quite.
- 1:21:05Speaker 10: Kind of in the same realm.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Plastic surgery?
- 1:21:09Speaker 12: Not plastic surgery.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Professional juggler?
- 1:21:13Speaker 9: That would be interesting.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Say it one more time.
- 1:21:19Speaker 12: I use sharp objects on people and cover them in chemicals.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: I feel like maybe you're a dermatologist. You cut off moles.
- 1:21:26Speaker 9: No, not quite.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: You want me to tell you? Yes.
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: Yeah, we missed three times.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:33Speaker 10: I am a hairstylist.
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Cover them in chemicals.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good one.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: That's a good one. She threw a fastball right there.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Thanks, Ariana.
- 1:21:46Speaker 12: That was pretty close.
- 1:21:47Speaker 10: That's like in the same realm.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: We haven't had one of those.
- 1:21:50Speaker 14: No, we haven't.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: That was a really good one. Kyle, what's coming up?
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: What do we need to know today?
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: This is pretty crazy. The two biggest names in delivery
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: are joining forces. I'll tell you what that means for
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: you next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Woke up with his new baby.
- 1:22:06Speaker 22: John Jay and Rich are live on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: All right, Kyle, what do we need to know today?
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: Well, the Milwaukee Brewers are now World Series champions for
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: the first time.
- 1:22:16Speaker 14: 2-1 pitch. Palacios.
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: Grounds one softly.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Unshakable.
- 1:22:17Speaker 17: Unstoppable.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: And champions at last, the Milwaukee Brewers.
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: It's the first time ever in franchise history, so that
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: is literal history that was made.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Can I tell you something? I didn't watch one game.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I didn't even see one scene from this game, right?
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: So I thought, I was like, Nobody cares about the
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: World Series. It's what I thought, right? It's stupidity. I
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: saw today that it's one of the highest rated World
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Series they've ever had.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: It makes sense to me because you got, instead of
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: like the people that are always in it, you got
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: two people who have never been in it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: It's kind of like the underdogs.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: And when you watch it, like the pitching was awesome,
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: if you're into that kind of thing. I think it
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: was very enjoyable to watch.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. But I thought just with it
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: being like, you know, not Los Angeles, not New York,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: not Chicago, not San Francisco, that it was going to be,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: there's going to be bad ratings, small towns, nobody cares.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: But I was incorrect. Sometimes I am wrong.
- 1:23:12Speaker 11: Wow.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: Just sometimes. Keep that on file. Keep that right there.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: We need that moment preserved in history. This is huge.
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: For anyone who gets food or groceries delivered, DoorDash just
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: announced it is buying Instacart. And they are paying $ 17 billion.
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: Instacart is expected to keep its own name and app,
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: but the deal could eventually give you access to another
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: 50,000 stores through DoorDash's network. Now people are kind of wondering,
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: is this going to make grocery delivery easier or cheaper?
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: Probably not, but you just may have more options. And
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: good for them for being able to spend $ 17 billion
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: in this economy.
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: That's so crazy.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Especially when you think about ideas like that, like Uber,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: just a couple guys going, why don't we do this?
- 1:24:00Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: And now it's worth $ 17 billion. I know.
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: So crazy. We are getting our first look at how
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: Los Angeles is planning to welcome the world for the
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: 2028 Olympics. They have announced the official slogan and given
- 1:24:14Speaker 8: us a song.
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: 2028, when the triumph of sport meets the city of dreams.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Stars align.
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: Stars align. That's the official slogan of the 2028 Olympics
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: that will be held in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg, Billie
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: Eilish and Olympic champion Alison Felix have all helped design
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: special versions of the game's logo. And that was part
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: of the announcement video, which is pretty cool.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Stars align.
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: Stars align. The stars align.
- 1:24:50Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: All right. I think you get it.
- 1:24:54Speaker 11: It's fine.
- 1:24:55Speaker 8: We don't have to keep going.
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: I mean, it's no lemu emu, but whatever.
- 1:24:59Speaker 17: I know.
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: The stars align. And that's that. This is actually very creepy.
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: You know when you're in a Waymo and you're driving
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: around town. You know, we were one of the first
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: test markets for Waymo. And you already know that, like,
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: you're not technically alone. Someone's watching you and making sure
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: you're following the rules in there. But this is a
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: whole new level of maybe somebody is spying on you. Apparently,
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: the Waymos are Chinese-built vehicles. And so now there's a
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: new concern that it's not just the Waymo people spying
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: on you. When you're in a Waymo, it's like China
- 1:25:33Speaker 8: as well.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Oh, my God. They know where I'm going.
- 1:25:37Speaker 11: Why do they need to spy on us?
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: What's going on?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: I don't see Trump getting in a Waymo. So it's
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: like us normal people getting in a waymo. Okay, big deal. Well,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: This guy went to a QT?
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: Then he went to the airport.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Get on that. Find out what he was.
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: I think it's more about like mapping out everything and
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: knowing where everything, I don't know, ins and outs. Anyways,
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: that's what you need to know.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Gloria, good morning. What's the scariest thing that's ever happened
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: to you?
- 1:26:03Speaker 9: Hi, good morning. Okay, so years ago, my grandma used
- 1:26:06Speaker 9: to live with us and she was, you know, the
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: process of dying because she was, you know, older. And
- 1:26:11Speaker 9: she said, I want to die in Mexico. I said, okay, fine.
- 1:26:13Speaker 9: So we take her to Mexico, my mom and I.
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: I'm 18. And she was an extremely private person. She
- 1:26:18Speaker 9: had a trunk full of all her private stuff, and
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: she wouldn't let anybody go through it. So when she passed,
- 1:26:23Speaker 9: they stored all her stuff in her old house, which
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: is like those wooden houses with the wooden windows and
- 1:26:30Speaker 9: wooden stilts, you know, like that kind of house. And
- 1:26:33Speaker 9: it was like 20 feet from my aunt's house. So
- 1:26:35Speaker 9: at night, after she passed, my aunt, my mom had
- 1:26:39Speaker 9: two aunts, went through her stuff and decided to keep,
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: you know, like a keepsake, like a handkerchief or whatever.
- 1:26:44Speaker 9: And I went in and I said, what are you doing?
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: And they're like, oh, we're trying to keep something. And
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: I was like, well, you know, my grandma didn't like
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: anybody going through her stuff. And they're like, well, it's okay.
- 1:26:53Speaker 9: You know, she can't do anything now, right? So the
- 1:26:58Speaker 9: next night, in the middle of the night, we very
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: clearly heard somebody or something In that room, like, take
- 1:27:06Speaker 9: the suitcase, and, like, we can hear the little wheels
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: hitting the floor, like, da-doom, da-doom, da-doom, right? So we
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: get up thinking, you know, somebody's robbing my aunt or whatever.
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: We go.
- 1:27:16Speaker 9: Everything's locked up. Store's locked up. Window's locked up. Suitcase
- 1:27:18Speaker 9: is at where we left it for three nights straight.
- 1:27:21Speaker 9: That's what we heard in the middle of the night.
- 1:27:24Speaker 9: So I told my mom, I was like, she knows
- 1:27:26Speaker 9: that was all your fault. She didn't like you going
- 1:27:28Speaker 9: through it, and they still did. So it's not until
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: they went to the cemetery, said sorry, asked for forgiveness, And.
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: Then it all stopped.
- 1:27:37Speaker 9: So that's the scary thing.
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: Grandma was mad. She was like, I said don't go
- 1:27:41Speaker 8: through my stuff.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: I'm out of here.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: Again.
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: I'm out of here again.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:27:47Speaker 9: So, yeah, the most terrifying thing. And I was only 18.
- 1:27:50Speaker 9: And I would go to my school, like, oils, lamps,
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: walk into the middle of the night. No, thank you.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Gloria. Have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: You too.
- 1:27:58Speaker 9: Thank you.
