- Keoni McKeague: Welcome back to the podcast. I'm your co-host, McKee, and with me today on the FitDown is my boyfriend, FitDown, Nolan Chang. Say what's up to the pod, ⁓ I like, bro, it's gone already. was like, my knees cracked this morning when I woke up. I was like, ⁓ Nolan: Asade Asade We're trying to still be young but we're not ⁓ god ⁓ my god I was coaching and I was, the day to day difference is just astounding. Cause on Tuesday I was like doing some drills with the players and I was like, my knees feel good. Next day I did it again, my ankles, what the fudge man. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nope. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We are not young anymore. But anyway, enough with the depressing stuff. We're here to talk some tier two fantasy rankings. But before we get into that, we have to give a shout out to our partners over at W Energy. Fantastic tasting energy. All of the energy you need to get through your day. You head on over to W.G.G. or use the W Energy app in our promo code, is Poi and Soy. That's P-O-I-N-S-O-Y for 10 percent off your order. Nolan. Let's talk some NFL fantasy football. All right, so we are here to talk some post draft rankings. So obviously, if you're here with us, you know, a couple of weeks back, we did do our tier twos, but that was pre draft. So there's a lot of things that did change. I know myself, there were some some pretty noticeable differences, I would say, I think. ⁓ sorry, I got to got to check myself. Yeah, there were some noticeable differences, but. ⁓ Alright, before we do that, we need to read off the Fantasy Pros rankings again, because those also update. ⁓ And technically speaking, know, this is where we would have Senior Jared here to talk about that. But he may be joining us a little bit later, so if he pops in, we'll let him talk through these guys here. No, I meant Senior. ⁓ I was like, well, I mean, we're... Nolan: Did you mean senior or did you mean senor? Okay. I tried to protect you, Jared. I tried. He's oldest. Keoni McKeague: It's like we're older, but he's older, older. So ⁓ yeah, yeah. Anyway, so let's start off at the quarterback position because that's where we tend to start. And with tier two in fantasy pros, they do have Joe Burrow at the top of tier two. Right after that is Jayden Daniels, then Jaylen Hertz, Justin Herbert. And leading the rear there is Jackson Dart. So Nolan, let's go over to your list and let me know what changed from the last time we were on here and if there's anything. of note that you'd like to share that made you make that decision. Nolan: ⁓ nothing crazy that I didn't move around. ⁓ Obviously, we talked about last week. think, if anything, I kind of have ⁓ Justin Herbert and Caleb Williams as my kind of on the cusp guys. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: On my rankings, I have Herbert, Lamar Jackson, then Caleb, which sounds a little contradicting, but that's mainly because I didn't want to necessarily move Lamar Jackson down, he's still a very versatile threat for that offense and that team, especially under new management now, so it's going interesting to see where they use him and how they use him. ⁓ But I do have it in that order, Herbert, Jackson, and Williams. ⁓ After that I do have Dak Prescott. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: we've we've we've harked on it and we'll kind of get into it when we get to the wide receivers. ⁓ He has a plethora of weapons like it's it's just if there's one thing that you can count on for the for the Dallas Cowboys from season to season is that Dak will fire at will and I think it's really cool to see that he has two now. ⁓ Technic wide receiver ones we will talk about that again. ⁓ But he has a big threat coming his way ⁓ and I think this season's gonna be very exciting for him to kind of hopefully grow upon that. But you know, we always joke about the Dallas Cowboys and their cycle of fandom, but you know, give us some credit where it's due. Dak has been stepping it up since he's been healthy. ⁓ Under that I have Matthew Stafford, newly extended Matthew Stafford. Yeah, he's, he, yeah. I think I kept him there from last time though. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Whoa. Wow. Nolan: So yeah, but look, this is a team. Yeah. This is a team that's going to be top three, if not top two in the NFC right now. And maybe you can argue top three in the whole league if you want. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah ⁓ Like 55 million or whatever. He just got paid. Yeah, goodness. Nolan: and Matthew Stafford, the way he played last season, it warrants that extension he just got. And he's running it back with ideally the same offense, offense that worked. And I expect the same kind of ⁓ explosion from that offense. And they're going to take the NFC by storm this year. It's going to be very exciting. I think the NFC is very deep this year. It's very kind of, it's daunting. As a Rams fan, was like, we're so good, but so is everyone else. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's gonna get it's gonna get pretty rough into the playoffs. And if you are a sort of conspiracy theorist, then you'll think that it's going to be the Green Bay Packers coming out of that. Yeah, Steelers, Green Bay Packers. Yeah, that's how I was just like, maybe. But I'm not I'm not gonna lie. I kind of hope you guys do make it because well, for Matt Stafford sake and just for that, team is just I mean. Nolan: the Steelers, Steelers versus Green Bay Packers. That would be fun. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: You guys are ready to go. I still think you need a wide receiver three, yeah. Nolan: Yeah, mean, hey, if we're lucky, maybe Diggs will want to come over. Yeah? Keoni McKeague: Yeah, low key. was like, if I was Diggs, that's where I'm going. I mean, you Nolan: Yeah. Next under that, I got our boy Jackson Dart. You know, I think he's really excited. The only reason I didn't want to move him up higher is he did recently just come out with statements saying that it looks like they're going to be more of a run first offense, which, surprise, surprise, John Harbaugh is your coach. I kind of saw that writing on the wall. ⁓ But he is a great Keoni McKeague: Yeah. ⁓ are you? LeBron? Yeah. I saw that last year. When I knew Harbaugh was going to go over there. I said that. I said that's my favorite saying. That's my favorite saying. Nolan: I saw I knew it was gonna happen. I saw them higher and I was ⁓ ⁓ But yeah, I think he impressed me a lot last year in his rookie season. He is a quarterback who lets the play develop before he actually makes his move. He's great on his feet as long as he can protect himself a little more this year. He's going to have Kam Skadebo back. ⁓ So it's going to ⁓ diversify the offense for them. Next, I got Brock Purdy. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Now, Nolan: I still juggling with this one because these are the last two on my list. would be Brock Purdy and then Jalen Hurts. I did move Jalen Hurts up from my tier 3. Yeah, yeah. This is where I'm looking at it. I had Brock Purdy there first. I wanted to move Hurts up. I have in my thoughts to move Hurts ahead of Purdy just because I do like the offense that the Eagles have more than the offense that the Niners have. Keoni McKeague: Whoa, damn, I just realized how far down, wow. Nolan: As we've talked about on this podcast, you can't doubt Shanahan and Purdy works brilliantly in Shanahan's offense. ⁓ So for now, I'll keep him there above Hertz. And yes, from consensus, Hertz has moved down quite a bit. But if you were here when we first did tier two, Hertz wasn't even in my tier two. So it's a win for him in my eyes right now. but yeah, that's where I'm at with my tier two for quarterbacks. Keoni McKeague: No you cannot. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yes. And let's keep in mind that our tiers are a lot larger. you know what mean? ⁓ Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Part of that is it's super flexed. But another part I feel like, especially with these like tiers is like, like I like to think of it as like Nolan: Yeah, because this is this is a super flux that we're in. So this is for us. Keoni McKeague: who can you know what mean like with tier one it's like these are the guarantee hundred percents and then tier two is like the who can be in that tier already there's a lot of possibilities especially with all the upgrades that were made this offseason so getting to my list to start off the rip there was already a change because joe burrow did move up into my tier one so i had to obviously adjust a little bit i did have caleb williams next but actually i Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: did move Justin Herbert to the top of my tier two. ⁓ Yeah, I mean, I agreed kind of with what you were talking about with Justin Herbert and the Chargers in general and how they've kind of upgraded, especially with Mike McDaniels being there. ⁓ But more importantly, because of that offensive line, you we saw what he could do the first few weeks when they were all healthy, ⁓ you know, just clicking on all cylinders. And I think that there is a case to be made for Justin Herbert to sort of be a Nolan: Nice. Keoni McKeague: like a pseudo most improved quarterback this year as far as fantasy wise, because he did drop off as soon as his line was unhealthy, which is not really his fault. But and there's a lot of things that I feel like are working in his favor. mean, he's a he's a guy who can use his legs. You know what mean? He's going to have a plethora of ⁓ young upcoming targets. I think Mike McDaniel's being able to get Lad McConkey open is going to help him tremendously. And then obviously you have like the evolution of Amari and Hampton. There's just a lot to like about the Chargers heading into the season. So ⁓ I'm buying pretty hard on Justin Herbert. And then, of course, like I said, Caleb Williams is right after that, you know, him and Ben Johnson. I think they're establishing a culture there. And obviously they are going to be doing a lot of things this year, I suspect, with that Chicago Bears team being one of the better ones in the NFC. So ⁓ exciting times coming there. And then this is kind of where I departed from you a little bit, because I have Brock Purdy here. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: at the third spot for tier two. And that is just because I am buying pretty hard on the Kyle Shanahan system. I'm buying hard on sort of his, like he had like a little bit of a spike there towards the end of the season when he was finally fully healthy and all that sort of stuff. And Mack Jones wasn't really coming into the picture at all. Plus the fact that they added Mike Evans, I really do like that addition. I think that between that, Christian McCaffrey factor, the fact that he'll just have Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: You know more people to throw to and I just I like what they did this offseason And I would never count on a Shanahan offense just because it always produces Somebody for fantasy and I think that Brock Purdy is gonna benefit from that tremendously So I did have Dak Prescott after that Really put him behind Brock Purdy for no other reason than just the fact that you know, it's Shanahan versus I don't even know who the offensive coordinator is for the Cowboys So, you know what I mean? And then the fact that Dak I think ⁓ we're going to be dealing with that situation with the, know, GP CD lamb, you know, the deal going on this year. It's the Cowboys, you know, I'd like to believe in him a little bit more. I do think that he's actually very good. I just. It's the Cowboys. I can't fully buy in on them. And then I think from last time, I still had him in this tier, but and still right around this range. But I do have Kyler Murray right here. All the things coming out of that Minnesota Vikings training camp seem to point towards this dude being ⁓ the starter off the rip. Everybody's liking what they're seeing out of him. If he can tap into even a little bit of his rushing potential, this is by far the best receiving core that he has ever had in his career. ⁓ And all the things that Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Joanne Jennings do really compliment what Nolan: ⁓ wow. Keoni McKeague: Kyler Murray does on the field and where he likes to throw the ball. So I just really like him here. And as we've kind of talked about, especially with last year and with ⁓ JJ McCarthy and that failed experiment, this is still the quarterback whisper coach. You know what I mean? Kevin O'Connell is still going to be is still somebody that I consider to be ⁓ a tremendous mind when it comes to quarterbacks. We didn't see that with McCarthy, but I do think that that's more on the youth side of things and him. coming in and having his true freshman year last year with the team. Maybe a year sitting behind Kyler Murray will help him. But Kevin O'Connell has shown, you know, we had the Sam Darnold experiment. We had the ⁓ Kirk Cousins before him. Kyler Murray is the most recent one. And on top of that, he's probably the most talented one of those three. So I'm excited to see what he does with Kyler Murray this year. Right after that is Jackson Dart. ⁓ You know, it's funny. I was debating sliding him a little bit because I am just I love him as a player. I think he's going to perform the concussion protocol, man. This kid needs to learn how to slide earlier or you know what mean? Like something because I'm just I'm just so worried that we're going to be dealing with that. And those in and out things are going to drive fantasy owners nuts. So ⁓ other than that, though, tremendously talented. Nolan: Yeah. Keoni McKeague: very high upside. If he can stay healthy, I was like the rushing upside everything. I mean, he averaged what 22 points in fantasy when he was on the field. So a lot of good things to like out of Jackson Dart. I did have Jalen Hurts right after him. It's hard because Jalen Hurts, I tried to push him up further. We talked about this already. You know, he's one of the guys who was like a top three performer when he was at his peak. You know, I think that there's a chance that that happens this year, especially with the changing of the guard with Nolan: You Keoni McKeague: different offensive weapons Malachi lemon coming in the assumed, you know, AJ Brown trade incoming the Devante Smith chemistry that he has. I think that that all points to Jalen Hurts having sort of a resurgence season. We'll see if that plays out on the field. I'm just so scared to take him because there are so many guys with higher upside or excuse me. I shouldn't say with higher upside with high upside ⁓ above him. So that's my only worry with him. And then of course, Trevor Lawrence, I put him at the bottom of this tier. ⁓ You know, I didn't have him here for my previous rankings, but I liked him coming into, you know, it's, Liam Cohen. You know what I mean? I really like what he can do for quarterbacks. ⁓ I really like what he can do for receivers. I think that the Parker Washington, they, ⁓ Parker Washington factor is going to be a lot bigger of a deal. ⁓ you know, that most people are believing Brian Thomas Jr. We'll see if he's still effective for this offense, but. I just really like Trevor Lawrence. think he could use his legs. He did a lot of that or a lot more of that this last year. ⁓ He was a lot more decisive to with Liam Cohen system. So really hoping that carries over into this year. I'm buying pretty hard on Jacksonville improving from last year. So we'll see if that happens. I mean, that is a team that I'd like to draft more of. But I am still hoping that it wasn't just a flash of the pan type of situation. So ⁓ anyway. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: That'll do it for my tier two quarterbacks. Let's move on to the running back position. So ⁓ the running backs that are there for the tier two running backs in fantasy pros and like I said sort of the fantasy pros slash Jared rankings. We got at the top of tier two is James Cook. Then we have Devon Achan, Ashton Gentie, Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown and Omarion Hampton. Nolan, let's throw it over to you. Where do your rankings differ? How many people do you got in here? Anything changed from the last time we were here? Nolan: I got eight. I think I did a couple of movements here and there. think the main one that moved up was Breeze Hall just from the extension. ⁓ It made the most sense because it looks like they're going to be using him as a true workhorse. ⁓ Top of my list, James Cook. ⁓ Kind of consensus, I guess you could say. But we've talked about it. He has everything you need. As he adds that goal line opportunity, he is a clear and away running back one. So he'll be a tier one, sorry. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: Under that got Ashton Gentry. I do like what I'm seeing out of the OTAs right now. They're using him a lot more. They're kind of getting him a really comfortable with everything. So I think he's going to be a full threat this season. ⁓ Kenneth Walker is my third. ⁓ I do have him there just because, you know, ⁓ he is the Super Bowl MVP. He is coming into this new team where they are in dire need of a true workhorse running back. They are still up in the air if they're going to have. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Agreed. Nolan: Patrick Mahomes back by the start of season. So I think that this is really important for him to be the guy to kind of get set the tone at the beginning of each game. ⁓ Under that I have a Marion Hampton. like the, this is where, you know, it's kind of iffy because I think that with a team like the Chargers where they have a lot of weapons right now, they have a great offensive coordinating mind. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Nolan: that that's a lot of mouths to feed ⁓ do i think he's gonna be used a lot yes but there's also the worry that you're gonna get random weeks where it's gonna be a qj game or it's gonna be a gadsden game or an njoku game right it's gonna be really off they're obviously gonna try to get lad mcconkey tune in for our fallers segment later on down the line ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. It's not going to be a gats-ting game anymore. Yeah, real. ⁓ Nolan: But yeah, think he's gonna be, as long as he stays on the field and healthy, I think he's gonna be a fantastic unit for that guy. ⁓ Breeze Hall was next on that one. We saw what Breeze Hall can do. He had a huge explosion last season with random games where he throwing touchdown, rushing touchdown, catching touchdown. It was really exciting to see. They had something cooking with him and... ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Nolan: I'm giving any sort credence or acceptance to the Jets, but I'm just saying, the Jets, could surprise some teams this year. I think it's pretty exciting right now. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Under that, I have Saekwon. A little weird to continue dropping him down, but ⁓ it's the discrepancy between... Keoni McKeague: I'm with you right there. I'm gonna show them some love. I like the moves they made, you know what mean? Yeah, it's hard. Yeah, I'm with you. Yeah. Nolan: two seasons ago to last season, just from what he gave you as someone who was a first round draft pick in last season's fantasy drafts. It's tough to move him any higher until you see what they're going to do with him this offense. Because we already, they've already talked about thoroughly that they're going to get Draelin hurts a different kind of outlook on the offense. Where does Saquon fall in that? Like it's, it's a big, it's a big what if. So I'm keeping him in tier two, but I like Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. ⁓ yeah. Nolan: the upside that he brings. Next is Chase Brown. ⁓ Reason he's a little lower in tier two is the same reason I talked about with Mauren Hampton. Lot of mouths to feed on that team. And Joe Burrow is a, the most part, past first quarterback. But Chase Brown flourishes in that kind of lateral flat range for Joe Burrow. And I think that's gonna be really helpful. I think everyone saw the Chase Brown ⁓ crescendo when they got ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: ⁓ my god, why am I blanking on his name? Keoni McKeague: Running back? Nolan: Old guy, old man, Joe, Flacco. Oh my God. was like, oh yeah, I was like, I was like, what the heck? Um, we saw the, how he grew as the season progressed once he got a capable quarterback back under center. So that's another big thing for chase Brown. And then lastly is Josh Jacobs. I put him here more as a kind of determining factor because he has all the right stuff to be the top of this tier. If not, maybe like Keoni McKeague: ⁓ gotcha. Yes. Nolan: pressing cusp of tier 1 because of how they use him. he's a phenomenal what. Keoni McKeague: I had to fact check it and I was just curious. I was like, I was just like to point out that I think Joe Flacco is actually younger than Jared and you're like, old guy. I was like, don't know, they might be the same year or he is younger. So was like, Nolan: say anything? ⁓ Anyway, ⁓ Jared, I'm not even trying right now, Jared, he's doing this to you. But Josh Jacobs, I think he has a lot of potential to exceed his rankings. And I'll do it for my tier two. Keoni McKeague: You know what I I was like, I had to double check. was like... Yeah, that was human. ⁓ Yeah. Mm hmm. See, that's a and I agree kind of where tier two is at. There are a lot of these guys that by name, you know what I mean? They should it be in this tier. But I mean, it's rough. You know what I mean? And I said last week that I kind of took the upside swings with some of the guys that I put into tier one because obviously I had the Ashton Genties and O'Brien Hamptons up there in tier one. And I. sort of did the same thing with this one. know, last time I spoke, had James Cook ⁓ at the top of this one. Obviously, I moved him up. But to start off the rip, I do have Jeremiah Love at the top of tier two. ⁓ You know, stepping into the Cardinal system, everything that's coming out of the camp is pointing to, you know, he's the third overall pick. There's a reason he's going to step into RB one right off the rip, whether or not Tyler Algier ends up becoming the guy who spells him. Nolan: Okay. Hoo, doggy. Keoni McKeague: Often, you know what I mean? I just think that there is a role where Jeremiah Love is gonna be eaten in this Cardinals offense. They added Isaac Siomalu, so I think that that addition to the offensive line is definitely going to help. He was definitely one of the better run blockers in the NFL last year. There's just a lot pointing. I think the leadership, the way the team is looking, I mean, we're even seeing flashes of Carson Beck there, you know what mean? Looking not too bad, not too shabby. But this is OTAs. you know, yeah, that's what I'm saying. There's some things we got. The risers you did. Yeah, exactly. ⁓ But yeah, all that to point to the fact that it looks like they're going to be headed in that direction where they want to give the rookies as much run as they can. They're not really in a rush to be competing right away this year. So I think that they're just building a culture. They're establishing a team. And I think that Nolan: Stay tuned more for our fallers. I put them in my razzes for a reason, y'all. Keoni McKeague: with the weapons that they added this offseason. Jeremiah Love to me speaks as somebody who is going to explode onto the scene. ⁓ As we normally say with top 10 overall pick running backs. So ⁓ of course Ashton Gentile was sort of an outlier because that Raiders offensive line was trash. ⁓ Anyway, number two in this tier, which I did adjust from the last time we spoke because I kicked him up about six spots. That's Breeze Hall. ⁓ Between the extension between his upside, we already know. mean, last year he was way outperforming ADP. And I think that on top of that, ⁓ we know that there's going to be a lot of receiving opportunity for him. Gina Smith does like to use his running backs, especially because Gina Smith likes to hold onto the ball for way too long. So ⁓ I imagine there's going to be a lot of that utilization of ⁓ the runouts with Bruce Hall there. On top of that, we already know that he's a tremendous runner can get into Nolan: if it is Geno Smith starting. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, you're right. You're right. Yeah, that's true. That's true. That's very, true. ⁓ Brady Cook, right? Nolan: I forgot Oldboy's name, what's his name? No, no, there's another guy they just drafted that has been like Keoni McKeague: ⁓ Gosh. Nolan: I'm trying to remember his name, ⁓ my god. I'll look it up. You keep going. Sorry. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I was just saying, I cannot remember his name for the life of me. But ⁓ all that to say that I'm with you on the train of the New York Jets, man. They improved tremendously. The offensive line looks healthy. Cade Cloudneck, you're right. Yeah, I was like, another one. Yeah, exactly. So between Cade and Carson Beck, man, there's going to be some interesting training camp battles happening this season. So. Nolan: Kade Club Nick. Are you gonna reach? Keoni McKeague: This might be like a Jackson dart from last year situation. You know what I mean? Like, I think if I do grab them. Yeah, I'll just say I don't know about grabbing them early. Yeah, I was like, but then again, you know, I did regret that grabbing Jackson dart and dropping them immediately. So you know that that could. Yeah, yeah, I forget you forget it. have them. ⁓ But yeah, so Brees Hall jets. They look really good. I'm. Nolan: Yeah. Alright, I'll do it. Round 16, fine. You caught me. I thank you. Keoni McKeague: I can't believe I'm saying that, but I'm kind of buying on them improving and him improving this year. right after that though, I did put Saquon Barkley and I still am sitting at this point where I'm debating this ⁓ because, you know, originally I had HN here ⁓ and then Chase Brown. So those are two guys who are obviously complete opposite spectrums of where I put them because HN is now in one and Chase Brown is a little bit later in this tier. So all that to say Saquon, just... Nolan: Yeah. Keoni McKeague: I mean, if you're reading the tea leaves, you know what mean? A little bit with the Philadelphia Eagles. It's seemingly pointing to this team heading back to where their identity was, which was a very run heavy scheme two years ago. Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts getting involved a lot more from that standpoint. And on top of that, I mean, we know what Devonte Smith can do, but we know that that works a lot better when they're utilizing the run. So I feel like... That is something they're going to emphasize this year and that's why I put Saquon Barkley here. I do think that there's a chance that he kind of revitalizes his value this year. Maybe not quite the possible MVP type of season that he had, but somewhere in between where he was this last year and the year before. Right after that though is Kenneth Walker. I do agree with all the points you said. Him stepping into the KC system I think is going to be something that's going to only add to his value from last year. mean... Seattle obviously won the Super Bowl. They were a tremendous team, but I do think that Casey fully healthy as an offensive group is much more talented and ⁓ someone to I mean, a team to be scared of when they are all on the field. So with Kenneth Walker and of course, with the news that we got with another player that we're probably going to mention here with Rashid Rice and not knowing how that situation is going to play out. just imagine them leaning on Kenneth Walker a lot more heading into the season. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Right after that though, Josh Jacobs again buying on the upside of a guy who is RB1 undoubtedly. was one of the better rushers in general this last year, at least from like a just straight running standpoint, you know. Maybe not so much as involved in like the receiving game, but I do think that just from a rushing standpoint, he's still one of the best. mean, he's what three seasons removed from when he was with the Raiders and you know, putting up top three numbers. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Yeah. It's crazy. I totally forgot he was on the radio and he just mentioned it. Keoni McKeague: I just think that there's yeah, I know he was literally. Yeah, and he was like a number one overall pick, which is even more so like this is a guy that can perform. And I think that he was battling a lot of small injuries last year. Hopefully that doesn't affect him. But again, we're not going to really predict injuries because those are just terrible to kind of lean on. I think that he's going to look fantastic this year. And then, of course, right after him, Derek Henry can't really fade him out of this tier in my personal opinion. You know what I mean? It's. especially the way he performed this last year, I don't think in my honest to God opinion, I don't think that he's going to end up the same way that he was this last year. I think it's going to be a little bit less. You know what mean? Not because anything from that system really speak, but this is a completely different regime. You know what I mean? And that to me speaks maybe a little bit more of a balanced attack. Maybe we'll see Zay Flowers get involved a little bit more. Maybe we'll see Mark Andrews get involved a little bit more. And to be completely honest, this team runs a lot better when they are involving those two guys. I just don't imagine they're going to be as run heavy. ⁓ Even though I expect Derek Henry to, I mean, this dude only ages backwards. So, you know, I can't imagine he's going to fall off. Nolan: You know he's taking care of his body. He's probably like in a cryo cryo chamber right now. like the king is back. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, exactly. And then right after him, I have Chase Brown. ⁓ I put him at the bottom of this tier, and that is the last name that I have in this year. Mostly out of the fact that we just, you know, the the Bengals have so much going on. And I obviously he's still high up there. He's in tier two. So I don't I didn't fade him completely out of the tier. But with all the things that they are adding. My biggest concern is still always going to be what is going to happen with Joe Burrow and whether or not he's going to stay healthy because that has seemingly been his shtick for the last like three years. They did get Joe Flacco back, so I agree with that point. I mean, they're still going have somebody who is capable after him. ⁓ But it's Joe Burrow, you know what mean? You can't really replace a Joe Burrow, even though you get sort of like Joe Burrow light with older Joe Flacco. ⁓ Yeah, I'm... Nolan: Jopro 1.0, I guess. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, it's like .5. ⁓ But yeah, so all that to point to, Brown's still going to be up here. But yeah, that'll do it for my tier two running backs. Let's move over to the wide receiver position where I think I probably made the most changes from my original list here. So to start off the rip again, the lists are very different from fantasy pros to ours, but. They have Amon Rossain Brown, C.D. Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Drake London, and Nico Collins who are all names or not all names, most names that you've already heard from our tiers. So Nolan, let's move it over to your wide receivers. Who did you move? What has changed? Anything interesting from this tier? Nolan: it out last week he is the top of my list this week Chris Alave ⁓ he has he has everything going for him right now ⁓ his health is was always a factor two seasons ago last season he literally played every game because he was healthy he had a competent quarterback throwing to him it looked great ⁓ Now, Kellen Moore has a little bit more time to settle things in with this offense, and I think that he's going to be the main benefit from this. ⁓ And I think we're going to see some exciting things from both him and Chuck. So I'm excited to see where that goes. ⁓ Next two on the list, Pickens and Lamb in that order. ⁓ Two wide receiver ones, high powered offense quarterback who knows how they like the ball. and I think that's that's going to pay off in dividends for this team. ⁓ Nico Collins, my boy Nico, right under them, middle of the pack for tier two. ⁓ He stayed healthy all season except for think maybe a week or so with a concussion and it just wasn't the Nico that we remember but I do think that Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Nolan: This going to be a return to form because it wasn't just Niko who struggled. CJ Stroud struggled the whole season as well. It was was something that they're they're developing as the season progressed. Niko started returning to form a little bit more in the second half. Yeah, yeah. So I am very excited to see where they kind of come off this season. ⁓ The person one of the names I moved up, AJ Brown. This is very with an asterisk because. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, the offense in general looked terrible for the team. Nolan: We need to find out once June hits where he's actually signing or being traded to, Keoni McKeague: I'm curious to hear your opinion on this since we're here at this point. Jaguars vs Patriots because those seem to be the two teams that have been the most vocal about trading for him. Which one moves him up for you? Which one moves him down for you? Nolan: Yeah. Jaguars moves them down to make cook in the kitchen like you would have to offset maybe one or two of those wide receivers in order for you to Keoni McKeague: If it is the rumored deal where it includes BTJ, does that change anything? Nolan: No, because I think Jacoby Myers showed to be the better wide receiver. You're also getting Travis Hunter back as a wide receiver. You have Parker Washington, whose second half of season was, I think, second in fantasy points. So ⁓ of wide receivers. ⁓ So I think our total is done like that. But I think it would it would make the Jaguars better. I'm not going to say it won't. But. Keoni McKeague: now. Yeah. Nolan: If you're looking at as a fantasy manager, if you want AJ Brown to be AJ Brown that we know, you want them to go to the Pats because it just there's there's less competition. You know, the Patriots are probably going to give up maybe a pick and maybe like Keishon Booty or something like that in order to to actually get AJ Brown there. And now my boy, I totally forgot that we did that. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Not my boy. booty to the moon. Poor booty. gosh, man. thought he was, then he got daubs and now possibly hijack, man. I was like. Nolan: And what if Stefan Diggs signs for less just to come back? But yeah, I think it would be too many cooks in the kitchen for the Jaguars. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: No, I don't want him to screw that guy. He's not coming back. No. Nolan: Yeah, if he goes to New England, he's right here at number five in tier two for me. Under that, I got Tet, Tet O'Rourke McMillan. I think he's going to show out after being offensive rookie of the year last year. He has a lot going for him this year. I think him and Bryce are getting a lot more comfortable with each other. So it's going to be very exciting to see. ⁓ Am I excited for the Carolina Panthers in general? No, but I am excited to see how his growth second year. I just don't know if I've seen like I don't. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. See Nolan: It would have to be lot of internal growth from them to make me excited about them. Real life, real life. Yeah, yeah. Under that I have Malik neighbors. Keoni McKeague: Fantasy or real life? are you talking about here? ⁓ gotcha, gotcha. Okay, gotcha. Nolan: I was debating moving him down. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Whoa, I thought you were gonna say up. Nolan: Yeah, if I remember correctly, I thought I saw a report that he had some like surgery cleanup stuff. ⁓ So that worries me a little bit because if you Keoni McKeague: Yes. I would like to state that my list came out before that happened. I like, I didn't really adjust it as of today, but. Nolan: Yeah. ⁓ Cause if you are an athlete and understand about like cartilage shaving and getting rid of scar tissue and things like that, getting rid of scar tissue is very much like mowing grass. ⁓ It will grow back because you are essentially creating more scar tissue by getting rid of scar tissue. So it could be a reoccurring thing where maybe it just hampers his speed or his agility, his cutting next season. So I don't know. ⁓ Some players come back completely fine and it's like right where they left off. Some people you just kind of see them week to week. Keoni McKeague: Hmm. Nolan: soreness in the knee or whatever it may be. I am hoping to hear good news about it, but for right now I'm going to keep him where is. then the last person I have on the list that moved up, T Higgins. I did push down Rashid Rice for obvious reasons if you guys are keeping up with the reports. But T Higgins, I talked about last week, him and Jamar Chase are like probably one of the best, if not the best dynamic duo wide receivers in the league. Also probably the highest paid duo in the league. But they've just got it done. That's why it's dangerous because there are weeks to weeks where it's Jamar's day, T Higgins day, Jamar's day, T Higgins day, both of them feed. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: Bangle score 40 something points and both of them go crazy. Who knows? ⁓ It is a coin flip sometimes, but what I can tell you is that T Higgins is a very reliable receiver for the Bengals and he is worth the price point. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, exactly. Assuming all the things leading into his sort of case and then the 30 day ⁓ jail thing holds up with Rashid Rice, is there a case for you where he does come up back into this tier or can be somewhere in this tier if it is just 30 days and if there isn't like a follow up suspension or any of that sort of stuff? Nolan: Well, it's not just that. It's he also had surgery to clean up loose bodies in his knee. ⁓ And that that's a big thing. Like you clean up loose bodies in your knee. That's a two to three month window of rehab before you get to like playing. And for him to he he just did before his 30 days serving. So like, don't even know if they're going to have like a rehab center in there for him while he's serving his 30 days. Like, I don't know how that works. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Which he just did, right? So it technically is like gonna be the next few months. He's rich. Let's give it a buck. He's going to be. I was like, it's going to be one of them fake terrier. Nolan: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Imagine they just went like, ⁓ yeah, they sent him to state like what the. But yeah, that's going to be something to monitor as well. ⁓ Because you really look at it as a three. Let's say on the pessimistic side, it's a three month window of rehab before he really gets into things. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: that's positioning him right at training camp and that's including getting his agility and everything back up getting acquainted he's missing all of OTAs right now with you know Justin Fields or whoever's going be working as that pseudo quarterback one entering season so I don't know that's a little it's a little tough I moved him to the top of tier three just as kind of like a safety blanket but Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Nolan: By the time we record tier 3, he may be moved down more. I don't know about tier 4, we'll see. Keoni McKeague: In tier four, yeah. Yeah, if you, ⁓ whereas. He might be for me, he might be in tier four ish, but I'll explain that one on a different pod. Anyway, let's start off the rip here because, yeah, I had a lot of differences from my original tiers here. ⁓ Most notably right off the rip is almond raw moving back up into my tier one. ⁓ Again, similarly with some of the other players that have already moved up. It was just on the cusp of like the do I want to put them in one? Do they, you know, perform like a one that sort of stuff? ⁓ But yeah, he's out of this year. And at the top of this one, I kind of I guess I'm on the more optimistic side of Malik neighbors. I do have Malik at the top of my tier two list. ⁓ If I am buying on the fact that Jackson Dart is going to be who we think Jackson Dart can be ⁓ and Harbaugh coming into the system, adding. veteran leadership and all that sort of stuff. And just what we saw out of Malik for the year and some change that we got out of him. I just think that there's a real good chance that this guy is gonna surprise. And if you're, know. Nolan: Do you think the reports of Jackson Dart talking about them becoming a run-first offense is because of how they view the recovery stage of Malik neighbors? Keoni McKeague: That did put some worry on my mind. I will say that, like I kind of mentioned, I didn't get the news about the the injury stuff ⁓ until I had already made the list. But. The upside for me is still there. If I fade him, it'll be maybe towards the middle of this tier, not really necessarily out of the tier. But I do think that there are a lot of worrisome signs there. I guess, you know, as most times happens when you have a player who's coming back from an injury. Nolan: This is ACL. Keoni McKeague: At least, yeah, at least for him, there's been all of the sort of he'll be there day one sort of conversation, which is positive. You know what I mean? It's a little bit different than what they're saying about like Patrick Mahomes, for instance, where they'll say something more along the lines of like, he's he's coming along fine. Nolan: I mean, your, I mean the most, the most recent update actually was John Harbaugh called his progress impossible to predict, leaving his week one in doubt. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ okay. Great. That's fantastic news. Nice. Nice. Yeah, that's fantastic to hear. ⁓ anyway, you're just destroying my tear. It's like I already made the graphic. So he's there. Yeah. Well, that's great news. But, know, the upside is there. ⁓ I mean, I would still like to make the case that Nolan: as of May 21st, so that was yesterday. we're not misinformed, everybody. It was a recent update. Do you wanna move them down? CUNY has different tiers today. Keoni McKeague: For like, even with Rishi Rice from last year, right? There was a lot of speculation about his suspension and where he was going to be. The upside play of a guy who, even if it is week two or three or whatever, if it ends up being a week four, if he starts on the pup and all that sort of stuff, the upside of a guy who can perform like a wide receiver one, ⁓ I mean, from his rookie season, if you were following along with that year, I mean, tremendous year out of this kid. And it showed why that was such a deep wide receiver class. Of course, we had the downfall of BTJ So that changed the outlook of the class, but I still feel like Malik neighbors the way he performed in that first year That is the upside. I'm buying on so, you know Rankings aside, he'll probably slide a little bit in this tier for me But I still believe that from a tier two standpoint I like what he can provide for you in the future if he is playing and he's on the field and let's hope that the recovery goes well, but that may affect the rankings later on down the road when we start talking about it a little bit more. Yeah, but I do have CD lamb and George Pickens in that order right after him. And the only reason I have it that way is still because of the George Pickens situation has nothing really to do with how he performed last year, how Dak views this team. I still think that George Pickens is stepping into that like pseudo one role, but with the drama. Nolan: Down the road. Keoni McKeague: with the salary issue, with all of that stuff that's going on with George Pickens specifically, the franchise tag stuff. To me, the headache of George Pickens is exactly why, you know what I mean, a team like the Steelers wasn't able to work with him and we'll see if Dallas can handle him throughout this year. But I'm just predicting that there's gonna be a little bit more of this leaning towards CD who was the number one. Nolan: I mean... Not to mention Dallas has one of the most stubborn owners in the league. Keoni McKeague: Yes, exactly. I can imagine a scenario where if a really good trade comes up at the deadline, we may be looking at sort of a George Pickens in a different uniform type of situation. And, you know, I mean, there's a lot of guys out there that could be had at the right price or maybe a reduced price from where they were. I mean, I like to think like a guy like BTJ is probably on the radar of the Cowboys, especially with his upside. Not as much of a headache, you know what mean? Slot him in next to a a CD lamb and Nolan: And then we'd get them on the rookie contract too, Keoni McKeague: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So there's a lot of situations where I feel like this could go the opposite way for George Pickens. you know, I still think talent wise and Dallas Cowboys offense wise, he's going to be a big part of it. Let's just hope the headache stuff doesn't keep popping up. But right after them, I do have Chris Olavi and you're selling me very much so on moving him up and maybe swapping where him and Malik neighbors are in this tier, ⁓ because I do. Nolan: Huh! Keoni McKeague: really really like the case that you made about Crystal Lave. ⁓ I do ironic, it's funny because I'm trying to, ⁓ Malik, hello. I was trying to remember why I have him one ranking lower than he was last time. But all those things that you pointed to, I mean the improvement of the offense, Kellen Moore, Tyler Shuck, ⁓ all the things that they're doing this off season, I think you're right 100%, it's pointing to the fact that Crystal Lave is gonna have a much improved season. He was obviously had a fully healthy season last year. So that's part of the reason why he was able to perform the way he was able to perform. So I'm expecting big things out of Crystal Lava as well. Next time we talk about this, it may be up exactly where you have right there at the top of my tier two. Nolan: Next time we in Vegas, we may be throwing some money down on them saints as a shot in the Keoni McKeague: just saying, that one hits, you know what mean? That's probably some good odds on that one. Nolan: I won't say Super Bowl winner but maybe like NFC? Keoni McKeague: I know I might be putting one on them. The Rams, the Steelers. That might be the. Yeah, just just just a case because that's Super Bowl hits. The conspiracy theorists are correct. Goodness. Yes. So right after Chris Alavi, though, I do have a job around here. Agree with everything you said. I again, I'm with you fully on the if it's Jaguars, maybe a little bit lower. If it's Patriots higher. Nolan: put it on Green Bay 2 just to, you know, just for the, you know, just for the... Keoni McKeague: I will say from the Jaguar standpoint though, I'm not as ⁓ negative on that landing spot as you are. Mostly from the fact that, you know, I do like what Jacoby Myers does. I do like what Parker Washington does. I do like ⁓ the fact that it'll probably include BTJ in the trade. My kind of positive for that is that, I mean, it's AJ Brown. I mean, I think of the three wide receivers there, AJ Brown is by far your best receiver. ⁓ even with Parker Washington establishing his role with, ⁓ Trevor Lawrence and all that sort of stuff to be agent Brown's going to carve out that wide receiver one spot, regardless of where he lands. And I think that in a proven year for AJ, I mean, it's a, it's a perfect landing spot with an up and coming team. So, ⁓ after that, Ted Arroyo McMillan, I like him a lot in that system. He's obviously the established one for that team. ⁓ we're going to see what Carolina looks like this year, but I just imagine they're going to be improved. know what mean? ⁓ I think Jalen Coker is another guy that we're at least going to be talking about more this year. You know what I mean? I think there was sort of like the teetering thought of Jalen Coker last year, but I think that he steps more into a prominent role this year. ⁓ But that. Nolan: Yeah, think he for sure eclipsed Leggett last season. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Oh, Legate. Good. Wow. That dude just yeah. I was on the spot. was pretty good. Yeah. You said forget. That was pretty good. Back to back. Nolan: Forget Ligette. Watch Ligette, this big pop off. This is like, I'm at go get Ligette. I said go get Ligette. Thank you, thank you. Keoni McKeague: Right after Ted Arroyo though is going to be Nico Collins. ⁓ I just had the slide in because the Texans offense man, know, Nico Collins is tremendous, I still like offensive line wise, ⁓ some improvements, but I still think that they're going to be like a bottom half. You know what I mean? Like there's still going to be a bottom half offensive line. They didn't really add like the top guys or anything this off season. I know they were also one of those teams that was Nolan: You They're gonna be cared by the defense, we know. Keoni McKeague: eyeing Tyler Lindabombe, but that obviously didn't work out. Again, I'm also really not high on CJ Stroud either. He might not be the guy in my opinion. So all that points to hopefully Nico can recoup his value from a couple of years back, but I'm not buying super hard that he's going to go up to that point. And then the final guy I have in this tier is actually different from what you have in that is actually Devante Smith. To me, wide receiver one. Nolan: I dig it. Keoni McKeague: You know, in this Philadelphia offense, they already have a tremendous chemistry with him and Jalen hurts. think him staying there, the AJ Brown. Rumors it's pointing to just Devante Smith doing what Devante Smith was brought in to do. that is to be a wide receiver one. The fact that they traded for AJ Brown hampered his career a little bit, but I just think that Devante Smith is by far a wide receiver one type of player. ⁓ I would not be surprised for myself. I wouldn't be surprised if I move him higher. I also would not be surprised if he finishes much higher than this spot right here at 14, because I think that he is that good. It's just he's been sitting in that weird spot with we paid age around a ton of money. So we have to throw the ball to him. So now that he is getting that respect and they are, you know, putting him at the forefront of this offense, the addition of Mackay Lemon being sort of his number two there. Of course, they also added Devante Wicks. What is his first name? Dantavian. Dantavian Wicks. I mean, there's complementary pieces to a guy who is undoubtedly a wide receiver one. So Devante Smith finishes my tier two ⁓ and that is much higher than I think I had him originally. So let's move over to the tight end position and finish out this pot because ⁓ Nolan: Tavian. Keoni McKeague: The tight end position is a fickled position to be dealing with. the tier two for the fantasy pros, Tyler Warren, Tucker Kraft, Harold Fanon Jr., Sam Laporta, Kyle Pitts. ⁓ Nolan, who do you have in this tier and why do you have said players in this tier? Nolan: Why? I got five in this tier. First one I actually did move up, I believe from the last time we recorded tier two. Kyle Pitts is my number one. ⁓ I did move Tyler Warren down to the second in this tier, mainly because we need to know what the quarterback situation is. He is the safety blanket, he is the tight end, he's a phenomenal tight end, ⁓ but I'm just very wary of that quarterback room. ⁓ Kyle Pitts though, proved himself last season and it was the season that we all talked about like this is your moment man like this is this is where you separate for Keoni McKeague: Does it matter who the QB is for you? Atlanta. Nolan: No, it isn't because I think 2-Up flourishes with a good tight end. PENX clearly flourished with a good tight end. So I think that's going to be a big deciding factor for ⁓ both options for Kyle Pitts. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Didn't this big game come with Kirk Cousins though? Nolan: It might have, that's because it's also Kirk. know, Kirk would be like, found you, No, no, no. Penix. Was it? Keoni McKeague: Am I? Yeah, that was the 40 bomb, right? Yeah, that was... Yeah, ⁓ yeah, it was because that was also the, no, that was also the week that her cousins threw for like seventh or whatever touchdowns. was like something, remember he had that crazy 400 yard, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Nolan: Okay, yeah, and then you were playing you were playing shall Yeah, okay. But I mean, it's either way Kyle Pitts, think has proved himself as an admirable tight end and which is weird because I was like, didn't Pinnix just tear it at the end of season regular season? Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I was just curious because I was like, they're they're showing them both throughout training camp. So I'm like, there hasn't been like an established like Yeah, I guess he's okay. I mean like... Nolan: I mean, that's his third knee surgery. I don't know if he's okay. Maybe it's just like... Keoni McKeague: He's just, you know, it's just a say. It's like another one or whatever. You know, he's good. He's got a great doctor. Yeah. Yeah. Nolan: At least you have two of their... Or he's got like... just insane knees. Keoni McKeague: Jeff, yeah, definitely drugs. peptides, they call them nowadays. Nolan: I'm sorry. Yeah, pip pads. Third on the list, Isaiah Likely from Consensus. Brother has shot up all the way. I think you had him in tier one, didn't you? Keoni McKeague: Yeah. I did not. I remember we were talking about the guys we think could go up that way. Yeah. ⁓ Nolan: I thought you added him to tier 1. Cusp? Gotcha. Yeah, mean, regardless of us talking about already that they look like they're gonna be a run-first offense, John Harbaugh brought Isaiah Likely to the Giants for a reason. Isaiah Likely looks like he is set to... Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: back to where he was his rookie season but I think now that ⁓ things seem to be settling for the Detroit Lions I think that I'm hoping Dan Campbell is like re-jigging a lot of stuff to get things a lot more balanced because I think we saw how convoluted it was last season and maybe even the season before that ⁓ and this is an opportunity to kind of really let him explode. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, that's a great way to put it. Yeah, agree. Hardly. ⁓ Even though ironically, I have my rankings sort of flipped. I mean, there's just some differences here. But ⁓ yeah, from the last time that we spoke to now, I did move Isaiah likely down and I did move Harold Fanon up ⁓ mostly because I have her fan at the top here. I still believe what I said last week. I do believe that Isaiah likely is a guy that I am buying hard on being a guy who can jump up to the top of, you know, Nolan: Okay. Keoni McKeague: into the top five of tight ends this year finishing wise. ⁓ But how it found it to me kind of is stepping into a more familiar situation, obviously, with Isaiah. Likely there still has to be some sort of with even though Harbaugh brought him in. Does he have a connection with Jackson Dart? How do things look throughout training camp? OTA is all that sort of stuff. I imagine he's going to be very involved, but we're hoping to see improvement from pretty much everybody in this offense. You know what I mean? ⁓ Malik, Kamz, I mean, there's just a, there's a lot of mouths to feed here. So that's the only thing that's putting him down a little bit lower. But Harold Fanon steps into a team where he is, you know, undoubtedly the second, if not the number one, you know what mean? I don't think there's anybody that is established in front of him as the target getter for this team. I mean, cause when you really look at it, Jerry Judy, old regime, rookies, they're not going to be, you know what I mean? Nolan: ⁓ yeah. Ha. Ha. Keoni McKeague: To me, it just speaks to Harold Fannis, probably going to be the guy who's receiving a lot of the targets here for this team. At number two, I do have Kyle Pitts. I agree with Joel Hardley on that situation. Also agree about the quarterback situation. Doesn't really matter who's throwing him the ball. I think that with the Falcons, they're just too talented to not include him here and to include any of their offensive players throughout these rankings because I mean, I'm just buying hard on what that team looks like. And I'm surprised that so many ⁓ Experts are saying that this is a team that's going to be at the bottom of their division because I personally feel like Even though this division is pretty tough, you know, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved this offseason. They're gonna have a healthy Baker Mayfield We're also having Tyler Shuck having his you know ⁓ Sophomore whatever I was gonna say software slump. That's not what we're hoping we're over the sophomore explosion. But ⁓ yeah, I mean just just a lot pointing to Atlanta even though they have a new head coach Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: It's Kevin Stefanski. think he's going to add some stability to that coaching room. I'm still buying very high on the on the Atlanta Falcons. But at number three, I do have Sam Laporta. ⁓ To me, he is like the vanilla ice cream of this group because he's white. ⁓ But. I like he is vanilla bean ice cream. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Why is he vanilla? Keoni McKeague: for this ranking tier because yeah, yeah, yeah. Why you say dog? No, I'm just joking. Good cover. ⁓ Anyway, mean, Sam Laporta, I put him here because I to me he he reminds me a lot of Mark Andrews where almost every year Mark Andrews wasn't going to be like the top tight end ⁓ and he always seemed to slide down rankings. Nolan: Vanilla Bean means he's got those little black specks, you know, cause he a dog. Actually, you're right, he's a lion. Keoni McKeague: But he's one of the safest floors and San La Porta is exactly that. think he's one of the safest floor plays for the tight end position. That's why I have him here. He's established a Jared Goff. All of that is pointing to some report of being right here, if not better. And then at the bottom of the tier, which obviously change drastically from where I had him last week, is Isaiah likely? Like I said, all the things I kind of mentioned about the team chemistry, them kind of figuring things out. I still believe that he will finish as a top five tight end this year. I'm just putting him here in my rankings because of everything that is happening with the Giants. Nolan: You're dampening your expectations, don't you? When you take them to the moon. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, just a little bit. I mean, truthfully too, it's funny because I like, if you look at like normal rankings, she's nowhere near this. So. Nolan: Yeah, he's like, he came in the consensus like ranked 16 or something like that. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, undoubtedly the battle is going to be just amongst us who are ranking because, you know, we have him here in this tier. But I mean, I do think that he at his current value for normal drafts is tremendous value. So if you're looking for a guy who's probably going to be like a later round guy to look at, mean, Isaiah likely for me is there's a reason we're putting him in our tier twos and believe in him as somebody who could pop off this year. So. Speaking of, you know, that's a great segue into the fact that Nolan and I will be doing a sort of boomer bus pod ⁓ later on down the road. We're still going to finish out these tiers. We have a few more to get through. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It will. We will get there, though. ⁓ But yeah, so just so you know, that is a pod that is coming on ⁓ soon, but not not right away. But anyway, I think that'll do it for our tier two conversation. Nolan: My list is not ready or started yet. Keoni McKeague: Notably we got some changes, we got some things to look forward to. There's going be a lot of stuff that we're going to be looking at for the next couple of ⁓ months that I'm sure will adjust these rankings even more. But I am excited for this draft. Nolan: I'm excited. Keoni McKeague: But not as excited as I am for Jared's wedding though, because that's first. So Jared's wedding first, you're not even going to be there. Nolan: I'm sending my wife in the honor of us, so. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, that's yeah, that counts. I was just saying obligations and such. But yeah, very excited for that draft. I had to swing it back towards it. It's like, that's what this pod is about, you know, people are excited about drafting, right? Yeah, yeah, exactly. So, you know, we'll get there when we get there. But ⁓ you have anything you want to say to the fine people at home before we bounce on out of this one? Nolan: You Exactly, exactly. Are you excited guys? Because we're excited. You should be excited. Join us on this ride as we prepare you for your draft so you too can become first place. Keoni McKeague: we... Yes. be okay. All right. Why'd you say you too? Because we have not even been first. ⁓ you mean original regular season? So not champs but like first place. Nolan: What? I've been, you know, regular season, you know, draft so you can become first place. But like, you know, like we, we get there. Yeah, like we get the job done and then playoffs, different story. I mean, we already got a ring, right? Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah. We'll get a ring eventually. One of us will, you know? I'll be excited for you if you finally win one. I'll be more excited for me, but. ⁓ Okay, all right. Let's not get into that. Anyway, that'll do it for us here. ⁓ It has been a pleasure. It has been a joy from all of us here at poi and soy.
