Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Wr Hey, it's Friday. Not a bad day today, little
- 0:11Speaker 2: rain this afternoon, but otherwise pretty good day. Tomorrow a
- 0:15Speaker 2: rainy mess. Sunday's Mother's Day. It should be a beautiful
- 0:19Speaker 2: sunny day. So we'll get to Don Rickles coming up
- 0:24Speaker 2: later this hour. It's his hundredth birthday. We'll get to
- 0:26Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. He'll be with us. Got a lot of
- 0:28Speaker 2: interesting things to talk to him about. Crazy Kathy Hokeel.
- 0:36Speaker 2: She's starting to really fear Bruce Blakeman. Bruce Blakeman was
- 0:39Speaker 2: twenty points behind in the polls, but he's always twenty
- 0:42Speaker 2: points behind the poles whenever he starts a race, and
- 0:44Speaker 2: then he ends up winning and winning big. So now
- 0:47Speaker 2: he's about eight points behind. He's moving up, and every
- 0:50Speaker 2: time he's run this is the pattern and he ends
- 0:52Speaker 2: up winning. So she's getting terrified of him. So she's
- 0:55Speaker 2: going to the left, hoping to get the mom Donnie
- 0:58Speaker 2: crowd to help help her win. That Mam Donnie crowd
- 1:01Speaker 2: hates ice, and they don't like enforcing our border laws
- 1:07Speaker 2: or enforcing our immigration laws. They want just chaos on immigration,
- 1:10Speaker 2: open borders. Everybody comes in. So Hocho is continuing with her,
- 1:16Speaker 2: just like Mam Donnie. She's going to go along with him.
- 1:18Speaker 2: We're going to ban ice, We're going to fight ice.
- 1:19Speaker 2: We're going to do this Dice and Tom Holman, good
- 1:22Speaker 2: for him. He's letting her know he's going to do
- 1:26Speaker 2: what he has to do no matter what she does.
- 1:29Speaker 2: And she says he's threatening her.
- 1:30Speaker 1: What Tom Holman has told me, he said the era
- 1:33Speaker 1: of the surges is over. Backtrack on. That is a
- 1:36Speaker 1: threat to me. Trying to threaten the governor of the
- 1:38Speaker 1: State of New York. And I don't take well to threats.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'm going to find that out.
- 1:46Speaker 2: He's threatening to enforce the law. What a terrible guy.
- 1:49Speaker 2: He's threatening to enforce the law. How dare him?
- 1:51Speaker 1: All I'll say to mister Holman, is that Donald Trump
- 1:54Speaker 1: himself said he would not send a surge of ICE
- 1:56Speaker 1: agents to the State of New York unless I ask.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm not asking.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but we'd like the law enforced. Again. Democrats never
- 2:05Speaker 2: follow the science. They don't believe in science. You can
- 2:07Speaker 2: study the science of all of this scientifically. We've run
- 2:11Speaker 2: the experiments a million times. If you have open borders,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you get total chaos. It drains you know, she's always
- 2:17Speaker 2: complaining about the budget. That's one reason we got this
- 2:19Speaker 2: budget problem. We got all these all these illegals all
- 2:23Speaker 2: over New York draining our budgets, costing us a fortune.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It raises crime, it does all that stuff. If you
- 2:29Speaker 2: close the border and force the border law to port
- 2:31Speaker 2: the criminals, you get less crime and you get a
- 2:34Speaker 2: much better budget. We've run this scientific experiment thousands of times,
- 2:39Speaker 2: but again Democrats don't follow the science. Holman is not
- 2:43Speaker 2: worried about Hoko. Well, Governor Hoko, I'm not asking either.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I said it.
- 2:48Speaker 3: We're going to do it. No, she wants to sign legislation.
- 2:52Speaker 3: She supports us legislation. It's going to lock us out
- 2:55Speaker 3: of jails. It's going to end two eighty seven g agreements,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and it's from the wrestling of criminal alien and safety
- 3:02Speaker 3: and security of a jail. We have partnerships in New York,
- 3:05Speaker 3: you know, throughout the state, not everywhere, but she wants
- 3:08Speaker 3: to end the partnerships we currently have, which means now
- 3:10Speaker 3: we got to send a whole team to look for
- 3:12Speaker 3: a criminal that we could arrest in the safety and
- 3:14Speaker 3: security of a jail, which is safer for the officers
- 3:16Speaker 3: safer for the alien, certainly safe for the community.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Again, follow the science. Democrats don't believe in science. Bruce
- 3:23Speaker 2: Blakeman followed the science. He cooperates with Ice, He lends
- 3:26Speaker 2: them whatever they need help with local police, use some
- 3:29Speaker 2: of their jails. What was the result, Safest county in America.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Follow the science. Homan knows exactly what he's doing here.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Since we lost the efficiencies of the jails that you
- 3:41Speaker 3: want to lock us out of. Now we got to
- 3:42Speaker 3: send whole team out there to find this person. So
- 3:45Speaker 3: of course we're going to increase manpower a lot. And
- 3:48Speaker 3: not only that, she says she wants protecting migrant communities. Really,
- 3:52Speaker 3: because now we arrest in illego alien, we can't run
- 3:56Speaker 3: a bed from any of the sheriffs in New York State.
- 3:58Speaker 5: So what we're we gonna do.
- 3:58Speaker 3: We're gonnaarrest to illego ailing.
- 4:00Speaker 2: We're going out.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Flying into Texas, errors at in one of her Texas
- 4:03Speaker 3: facilities there, away from her families, wait for her attorneys.
- 4:06Speaker 3: This is what we have to do because she forces
- 4:08Speaker 3: in this position, and we're going to do it. They're
- 4:10Speaker 3: not going to stop us.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, remember one thing, federal law supersedes local law.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Holman actually has the authority come in and do this stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Federal law always supersedes local law. Now it's going to
- 4:25Speaker 2: be a mess, and Hokle might kind of like that.
- 4:28Speaker 2: She might kind of like home and doing all this
- 4:30Speaker 2: stuff because it upsets the crazy left wing Democrats and
- 4:34Speaker 2: she's looking at them to save her in this upcoming
- 4:38Speaker 2: race where she's gonna lose to Bruce Blakeman. But that's
- 4:41Speaker 2: her only hope getting this mom Donnie crowd to come
- 4:44Speaker 2: over and vote for her. Hey, the actor Mark Hamill,
- 4:49Speaker 2: you know, he's a Hollywood left wing guy. They're filled
- 4:51Speaker 2: with hate and anger and rage. They yell and scream
- 4:54Speaker 2: about Trump. But people never realized how low I cue
- 4:57Speaker 2: the guy he is, or how bad is jjudgment is
- 5:00Speaker 2: till yesterday he put the all kinds of flak. Yesterday
- 5:05Speaker 2: it went viral. He put up a picture of Donald
- 5:08Speaker 2: Trump in a grave, in the grave, in the graveyard.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He's in the grave, and it says, if only this
- 5:14Speaker 2: is right after an assassination attempt. So you know, they're
- 5:18Speaker 2: all crazy left wing, very angry, hate filled Hollywood liberals,
- 5:22Speaker 2: but sometimes you don't realize how low their IQ is
- 5:26Speaker 2: for a guy like that. You know, it was just
- 5:28Speaker 2: an assassination attempt. And maybe I won't post this. They
- 5:31Speaker 2: don't have that kind of judgment. They're just not that bright.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It's just it still shocks people. But you know, you
- 5:39Speaker 2: watch them on the screen. But it looked great. Well,
- 5:41Speaker 2: it looked great, they sound great, they're brilliant. Then you
- 5:43Speaker 2: find out in real life IQ like maybe maybe maybe
- 5:47Speaker 2: eighty five, maybe ninety. So, hey, if you are worried
- 5:51Speaker 2: about eating eggs, people love eggs, omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs,
- 5:57Speaker 2: hard boiled eggs. But you've said a cut down on
- 6:00Speaker 2: these eggs, you know, cholesterol, heart all that. You know
- 6:03Speaker 2: what a lot of people think. It's not so bad
- 6:05Speaker 2: cholesterol and brand new study shows if you're eating eggs regularly,
- 6:11Speaker 2: seventeen percent lower risk of dementia. Seventeen percent lower risk
- 6:16Speaker 2: of dementia. Eating eggs is not a bad thing necessarily. Hey,
- 6:20Speaker 2: Marco Rubio met with the Pope. He had to bring
- 6:23Speaker 2: him a gift. What would you bring the pope as
- 6:25Speaker 2: a gift? A Trump hat? No, I don't think so.
- 6:29Speaker 2: He brought a crystal football during his Vatican visit. He said,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I know you're a baseball guy, but here's a So
- 6:36Speaker 2: why do he give m a crystal football? I don't know,
- 6:38Speaker 2: but it was the highly anticipated Vatican visit. Rubio spent
- 6:44Speaker 2: approximately two hours at the Vatican speaking with Pope Leo,
- 6:48Speaker 2: also the Vatican Secretary of State and the Archbishop Gallagher.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Meeting took place in the Pope's private library. You know,
- 6:56Speaker 2: this pope speaks English, so a lot of people say
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's kind of eerie. You know, usually when you talk
- 7:01Speaker 2: to the Pope, he doesn't speak English. It's kind of
- 7:03Speaker 2: strange to speak to the Pope in English and he
- 7:05Speaker 2: responds in English. They're not used to it. Let me
- 7:09Speaker 2: just check youre gas prices should be down, stock market
- 7:14Speaker 2: is way up. The job's numbers were double what was projected,
- 7:19Speaker 2: double what was projected. Oil up half a half a
- 7:24Speaker 2: dollar ninety five dollars a gown, still down from where
- 7:27Speaker 2: it was a week ago. So that's pretty good. Iran.
- 7:32Speaker 2: They'll never really be a deal, never really be a deal.
- 7:36Speaker 2: It's just some point they'll just hang on forever. It's
- 7:41Speaker 2: a lot like North Korea. They have a good negotiating
- 7:44Speaker 2: position because they don't care what the hell happens. To
- 7:46Speaker 2: the country. It's just the leaders want to take care
- 7:49Speaker 2: of themselves, and you can destroy their economy, you can
- 7:53Speaker 2: shut it down. They don't care. They'll starve their people
- 7:55Speaker 2: to death, they'll kill all their people. They don't care
- 7:58Speaker 2: as long as they hold on on. That was what
- 8:01Speaker 2: happened in North Korea. That's what will happen here. Gas
- 8:04Speaker 2: prices once this is over in some form, gas prices
- 8:08Speaker 2: will just plunge instantly. Now let me point out when
- 8:11Speaker 2: it comes to gas prices. You know, if you watch
- 8:14Speaker 2: the fake news, all you hear about is Trump is
- 8:16Speaker 2: finished in the midterms because of the gas prices. It
- 8:19Speaker 2: was the official position of the Biden administration. I mean official,
- 8:27Speaker 2: They didn't just say it. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm you
- 8:30Speaker 2: can see the video, it's up on my Twitter came
- 8:33Speaker 2: out in a formal press conference and announced, quote, the
- 8:37Speaker 2: president does not control the price of gasoline. Remember at
- 8:41Speaker 2: that time, gasoline was more expensive than it is now.
- 8:45Speaker 2: We're still not even close to Biden prices. But the
- 8:48Speaker 2: official position was the president does not control the price
- 8:54Speaker 2: of gasoline. Hey, you know, they got these speed cameras everywhere,
- 9:00Speaker 2: not just in the cities, but the suburbs are getting
- 9:02Speaker 2: them all now, all over the place. They got those
- 9:03Speaker 2: speed cameras that'll take a picture of your license plate,
- 9:07Speaker 2: your car and record your speece. So if you're speeding
- 9:10Speaker 2: past the speed camera, you get a ticket in the mail.
- 9:13Speaker 2: There's not much you can do about it. There's the
- 9:15Speaker 2: picture of you. It's really hard to fight. So it
- 9:19Speaker 2: brings in a lot of revenue. Now besides the annoying
- 9:25Speaker 2: thing about getting the ticket, a lot of people are
- 9:27Speaker 2: starting to get nervous about all these speed cameras. Did
- 9:29Speaker 2: you know those speed cameras are not put up by
- 9:31Speaker 2: the government. It's not by the local No, it's a
- 9:35Speaker 2: private company, and the towns or wherever contract with this
- 9:41Speaker 2: private company, it's called flock Safety. It's their cameras. They
- 9:46Speaker 2: put them up, they collect the information government pays them
- 9:50Speaker 2: to do it. Now a lot of people are saying
- 9:53Speaker 2: flock Safety is gathering too much data on everybody, because
- 9:57Speaker 2: when the government gives them a contract for the speed cameras,
- 9:59Speaker 2: they they put them all over the place, some for speed,
- 10:03Speaker 2: some just watching, so that it's basically they setting up
- 10:05Speaker 2: a surveillance system all over the town or all over
- 10:08Speaker 2: a city and they're keeping track of everything you do.
- 10:12Speaker 2: They're really gathering a lot of data on people. When
- 10:16Speaker 2: they photograph your license plate, your car, they can go
- 10:21Speaker 2: they have a database where they can look up your registration,
- 10:23Speaker 2: your name, your address, who you are. And what a
- 10:27Speaker 2: lot of these companies do to make money is they
- 10:28Speaker 2: sell all the information or they use the information to
- 10:32Speaker 2: learn stuff about you. So again it's not the government,
- 10:34Speaker 2: it's this problem private company Flock Safety gathering tons and
- 10:39Speaker 2: tons and tons of data. And it's not just that
- 10:42Speaker 2: when you drive by it triggers the speed camera. But
- 10:46Speaker 2: apparently some Flock employees can view the cameras twenty four
- 10:49Speaker 2: to seven anytime they want. They can just look at
- 10:51Speaker 2: the cameras, so they can keep an eye on you,
- 10:54Speaker 2: your house, or whatever's around there. Just remember this, it
- 11:00Speaker 2: would become a story, a more important story at some point.
- 11:03Speaker 2: What was Flock Safety spying on us for? What were
- 11:05Speaker 2: they doing with the information? Interesting? Now? New York Times,
- 11:11Speaker 2: Crazy New York Times. They write a big article about
- 11:15Speaker 2: what we're gonna lose when the Late Show goes away?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Stephen Colbert New York Times, big headline, what do we
- 11:21Speaker 2: lose when the Late Show goes away? You know, really nothing.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Nobody watches it. It's a tiny audience. It's like a
- 11:28Speaker 2: million people. That's it. The old Johnny Carson The Night
- 11:31Speaker 2: Show would get nine twelve million people on a good night,
- 11:34Speaker 2: Big Night, they'd get forty to fifty million people. To say,
- 11:37Speaker 2: one million maybe, But they read this whole article about
- 11:41Speaker 2: the decline of what it means to lose. Now watch
- 11:44Speaker 2: they're going to replace this with a cheap show Byron
- 11:47Speaker 2: Allen's Comics Unleashed. It's a bunch of comics doing jokes.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It costs nothing, it's low budget. It'll get two or
- 11:55Speaker 2: three times the ratings of Colbert. It'll do much better
- 11:58Speaker 2: than Colbert. They're replacing it with that. And also Byron
- 12:01Speaker 2: Allen's got a game show. I forget what it's called,
- 12:04Speaker 2: but it's kind of a kind of a copy of
- 12:05Speaker 2: Hollywood Squares. But watch that'll get three times the ratings
- 12:09Speaker 2: of Colbert for no money at all. Hey, it's Don
- 12:13Speaker 2: Rickles one hundredth birthday. We've been taking a look back
- 12:15Speaker 2: at Don Rickles all this morning. It's incredible guy. He
- 12:21Speaker 2: was a great guy, regular guest on this show. Now
- 12:24Speaker 2: over the years, I used to be on in the
- 12:26Speaker 2: afternoons WNW afternoons, we'd do it live. But since coming
- 12:32Speaker 2: to WR, I've been on in the mornings, so ten
- 12:35Speaker 2: o'clock in the morning here, that's seven o'clock in the
- 12:37Speaker 2: morning in California. So to be honest, many times he
- 12:41Speaker 2: was on this show. If he wasn't in New York,
- 12:43Speaker 2: we'd pre record it because you can't get up at
- 12:46Speaker 2: seven in the morning, so we'd pre record it. Now
- 12:48Speaker 2: here's what it sounded like when I would call him.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So I'm calling him on the phone so we can
- 12:53Speaker 2: pre record the interview. Listen to when listen to when
- 12:56Speaker 2: he answers, Hell, Hey, it's Mark Simon.
- 13:00Speaker 6: What is it? What is it you want? Well, we're
- 13:03Speaker 6: give me a lifetime leave me alone for christ.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna record this interview. We'll play
- 13:07Speaker 2: it on where do.
- 13:08Speaker 6: I go to go to? Three people in Philadelphia? Hang on?
- 13:12Speaker 6: Sounds like, so I'm not just dead, so get over,
- 13:16Speaker 6: try to get over.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Well, hang on one to it.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'll start. He was such a funny guy. Uh let
- 13:22Speaker 2: me find one more clip.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Uh.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Don Rickles on the show a few years ago. I
- 13:28Speaker 2: love Bob Newhart, but who was going to give you
- 13:30Speaker 2: more lesson Oh wait, Ron, clip right, this one we're
- 13:32Speaker 2: talking with Don Rickles. I've never asked you this before.
- 13:35Speaker 2: If you were not allowed to be in show business,
- 13:37Speaker 2: what would you be doing for a living?
- 13:39Speaker 6: Well, this has I know you're gonna push your chair
- 13:42Speaker 6: away when.
- 13:42Speaker 5: I tell you.
- 13:43Speaker 6: If I had the education, which I never had, in
- 13:46Speaker 6: other words, I went to high school. But yeah, I
- 13:48Speaker 6: always got to struggle with education in the service, right,
- 13:51Speaker 6: But if I had the education, I would have loved
- 13:53Speaker 6: to have been a psychiatrist. You're kidding, I know you
- 13:56Speaker 6: say that. Yeah, Well, because you know, because in my
- 14:00Speaker 6: work it is a form of psychiatry I have. I
- 14:03Speaker 6: have a second sense with people, and I know when
- 14:06Speaker 6: I'm talking to somebody, I can read them pretty good.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Pretty good, you read them better than anybody.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Well, thank you. But it's been something since I was
- 14:14Speaker 6: a very young man, and I've gone along with it
- 14:16Speaker 6: because people used to say, you know, well, I'm still do.
- 14:19Speaker 6: They say, oh, the guy's gonna insult you, but he's mean,
- 14:22Speaker 6: But that's not true. Otherwise I wouldn't be headlining all
- 14:25Speaker 6: these years. What I do is I exaggerate everything, and
- 14:30Speaker 6: I'm not mean spirited, and I don't really do a joke,
- 14:33Speaker 6: per se. I do a situation that becomes a joke,
- 14:35Speaker 6: And the whole idea is to exaggerate all our insecurities,
- 14:39Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yeah, but you look at the guy.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You know what he does for a living. You know
- 14:42Speaker 2: whether he's married. I mean, you said you can figure
- 14:44Speaker 2: out fifth. You're like an X ray machine, You're like
- 14:46Speaker 2: sonar radar.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Well, thank you, Mark, you know no, I'm on a
- 14:49Speaker 6: channel'll get you know.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, a psychiatrist, they usually they take
- 14:53Speaker 2: five years and then they still haven't cured your problem.
- 14:55Speaker 6: And well that's why I'm working them around in Westbury.
- 15:00Speaker 2: But great Don Rickles one hundred years old today and
- 15:04Speaker 2: we really really really miss him. So, uh hey, we'll
- 15:07Speaker 2: take some calls next. Bruce Blakeman will be with us
- 15:09Speaker 2: in a few minutes. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 15:11Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten. That is the number.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Own show on woor.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:27Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Stuart
- 15:29Speaker 2: in South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing.
- 15:32Speaker 7: Hey, Mark, are you excuse me. I got cold when
- 15:37Speaker 7: you talk about that Flock system if I had been
- 15:39Speaker 7: an elected sheriff in my county.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, flox system is the speed cameras. It's owned by
- 15:44Speaker 2: a private company.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Well, we don't we don't use it. We don't have
- 15:47Speaker 7: speed cameras in the South. I think they're unconstitutional. But
- 15:51Speaker 7: the thing is, the flock system is wonderful.
- 15:53Speaker 4: It really is.
- 15:54Speaker 8: If you have a homicide.
- 15:56Speaker 7: Suspect across the country and he hits that camera, or
- 16:02Speaker 7: suspended license or any anybody that you're looking for, and
- 16:06Speaker 7: you put in that plate number, it hits in that
- 16:09Speaker 7: flock system. My son has gotten many many felonies out
- 16:13Speaker 7: of that system. But when you're turning about watching your house,
- 16:16Speaker 7: I don't understand that because the cameras are strategically placed
- 16:21Speaker 7: on high, high traffic areas.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but what the argument is people thought that speed
- 16:27Speaker 2: cameras were run by the government. It's a private company.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Does it for the No, Yeah, that's true.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But the private company apparently is collecting tons of data
- 16:35Speaker 2: on everybody.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 7: See, I've never heard that. But you know, personally, it
- 16:40Speaker 7: may be a different system. I don't know. But down South,
- 16:44Speaker 7: like I said, we don't have red light cameras. We
- 16:46Speaker 7: don't have speed cameras at all.
- 16:48Speaker 4: But they do.
- 16:50Speaker 7: What they do is they watch and suspended plays, homicide suspects,
- 16:54Speaker 7: things like that. We can really zero in on them
- 16:56Speaker 7: and it is a wonderful system. But that's all it
- 17:00Speaker 7: does down here is just read license plates and then
- 17:03Speaker 7: they'll do very very quickly. In fact, NYPD has them
- 17:06Speaker 7: back on their cars their boxes. I don't know if
- 17:09Speaker 7: they've updated the technology or not, but.
- 17:12Speaker 8: They use the same system. But they're just reading license
- 17:15Speaker 8: plates and when they get hits, they go ahead and
- 17:17Speaker 8: make a traffic stop and a lot of times they're
- 17:19Speaker 8: getting a lot of suspects out of this.
- 17:21Speaker 2: All right, great stuff, Thanks for Colin Stewart. Let's go
- 17:24Speaker 2: to Frank in Sunset Park. Frank, how you doing?
- 17:28Speaker 5: Hey?
- 17:28Speaker 4: Mark?
- 17:29Speaker 9: Hey listen. I love all the interviews with Don Rickles
- 17:32Speaker 9: and love the old stories about Frank Sinatra and Johnny Carson.
- 17:35Speaker 9: I know you helped out with that Johnny Carson book.
- 17:37Speaker 9: Do you ever think about writing a book about all
- 17:39Speaker 9: your celebrity encounters and interviews?
- 17:40Speaker 2: I love your well, I've actually had many book offers
- 17:43Speaker 2: and this has been going on for years and The
- 17:46Speaker 2: problem is you got to write the book. And every
- 17:47Speaker 2: time I sit down to write, I don't know how
- 17:49Speaker 2: a writer does it. I can't do it. I make
- 17:50Speaker 2: a few notes. Yeah, I got like eight book deals
- 17:53Speaker 2: going through the years, and I've never been able to
- 17:56Speaker 2: force myself to just sit there and write out this book.
- 17:58Speaker 9: But I'd love to read it if you ever came
- 18:01Speaker 9: up with You got some so many great stories. Really
- 18:03Speaker 9: enjoy hearing him.
- 18:04Speaker 2: All Right, I'll get to it. I'll get to it
- 18:08Speaker 2: a couple of people. Let me just dictate it. Yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 2: but then you look at the dictation. It's all screwed up.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It takes hours to correct it and get it back
- 18:15Speaker 2: into shape. Let's go to rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich
- 18:19Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 18:20Speaker 9: Hey, Thanks Mark. I had the same idea. You know,
- 18:22Speaker 9: you need a ghostwriter to do it for us. You
- 18:24Speaker 9: don't have to sit at the typewrite and do it.
- 18:26Speaker 9: Every time we turn on Fox News is another house
- 18:28Speaker 9: showing another book. I don't know how these guys have
- 18:30Speaker 9: a life between all the work on TV and showing
- 18:32Speaker 9: these books and writing two books a week. I don't
- 18:34Speaker 9: know how they do it.
- 18:35Speaker 6: Now.
- 18:35Speaker 9: My wife and I used to see Don Wickles open
- 18:37Speaker 9: for a Sinatra back in the late eighties and early nineties.
- 18:40Speaker 9: It was really such a great pair to watch those
- 18:42Speaker 9: guys work together. You know, you're talking about ice in
- 18:45Speaker 9: New York State. You know my buddy detective Bob out
- 18:48Speaker 9: in San Diego, he was a New York City detective
- 18:51Speaker 9: for many, many years, and he listened to you all
- 18:52Speaker 9: the way back to the Jay Diamond days and stuff.
- 18:55Speaker 9: He said, he's watching a lot of these landscape a
- 18:57Speaker 9: cruise in San Diego. San Diego go from six and
- 19:00Speaker 9: seven people down to two and three people as they
- 19:02Speaker 9: come around and round them up and take them out
- 19:03Speaker 9: of you though.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I listen. Then we say, well, they're doing the
- 19:07Speaker 2: jobs Americans won't to. Americans always did those jobs for
- 19:10Speaker 2: a million years. They just won't do them for a
- 19:12Speaker 2: one third the normal price. That's the that's the really preference.
- 19:15Speaker 2: But thanks for calling. Let's go. Let's go to uh
- 19:20Speaker 2: Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent.
- 19:21Speaker 5: How you doing, Good morning, Mark Mack. I'm okay. Remember
- 19:25Speaker 5: if anybody wants UH not have your license plate, No.
- 19:29Speaker 2: No, no, don't say that on the air. Don't say
- 19:31Speaker 2: it on the air. You said it once and apparently
- 19:34Speaker 2: it works. It's true. Everybody in the call.
- 19:36Speaker 5: It works really really well.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Everybody in the NYPD called me and said, don't put.
- 19:41Speaker 5: That on the air every day. Okay, well, hey, let
- 19:43Speaker 5: me ask you. I'll put this on the air mark.
- 19:46Speaker 5: I'm glad that the Trump administration and our great military,
- 19:52Speaker 5: the Navy in particular, are starting to take out these
- 19:56Speaker 5: mosquito boats, because this is a true story. About forty
- 20:02Speaker 5: years ago, my brother and I were going to a
- 20:05Speaker 5: restricted area on the nautical map on the on the
- 20:10Speaker 5: chart there you use for navigation coming out of Raridon Bay,
- 20:15Speaker 5: there's this job extremely long pier and around the edges
- 20:21Speaker 5: of it, it says on the map on the chart
- 20:24Speaker 5: it says restrict.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Did we lose visit?
- 20:30Speaker 5: We said, We said, well, let's go see what's in
- 20:33Speaker 5: this restricted area. So we drive the boat over there.
- 20:38Speaker 5: And before we get i'd say, we'rein a quarter of
- 20:42Speaker 5: a mile of this restricted area, the coast Guard comes
- 20:46Speaker 5: upon us and one of the guys on the coast
- 20:49Speaker 5: Guard boat says, hey, guys, you got to get the
- 20:52Speaker 5: hell out of here. And I said why he said,
- 20:56Speaker 5: And then you could at the end of the pier
- 20:58Speaker 5: you could see it. It's where they dock the submarines
- 21:02Speaker 5: and everything. So what I'm saying is is when these
- 21:05Speaker 5: mosquito boats are coming at these tankers and other commercial ships,
- 21:11Speaker 5: and even at our naval ships, due to all the
- 21:14Speaker 5: technology we have, we can easily see from which ports
- 21:19Speaker 5: these boats.
- 21:20Speaker 2: They've been doing that. When one comes out, we stop
- 21:22Speaker 2: it and then we blow up before.
- 21:23Speaker 5: That exactly because they can't op they can't operate from everywhere.
- 21:28Speaker 5: It's not like a bass boat where you could pull
- 21:32Speaker 5: up with a trailer and just put it in the
- 21:34Speaker 5: water and go after a destroyer or something like that. Also,
- 21:40Speaker 5: because they got the machine gun on the front of
- 21:42Speaker 5: the boat, the fifty gliba, you could pick that up
- 21:45Speaker 5: on the radar. These boats that they're using look like
- 21:49Speaker 5: twenty five twenty nine foot either make those or ocean
- 21:53Speaker 5: masters with a nine or eleven foot beam. That's the way.
- 21:57Speaker 5: With the set of console and the de top easy
- 22:00Speaker 5: to pick up.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they've taken out every boat that's come at him.
- 22:03Speaker 5: That's they got to kill it. They gottai.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Well, Vincent, we got to go because we've got to
- 22:07Speaker 2: do the news. Great call, Thanks for calling. When we
- 22:09Speaker 2: come back. The best county executive in America. The next
- 22:12Speaker 2: governor of New York. Bruce Blakeman will be with us
- 22:14Speaker 2: next on seven to ten w O R. Mixter New York.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Mark alone, Well, Bruce Blakeman the best county executive in America.
- 22:26Speaker 2: That's really being a governor of a county. And he's
- 22:28Speaker 2: would be the best governor for New York. Uh. He's
- 22:31Speaker 2: running against Kathy Hochel. He's gonna win. He'll be the
- 22:34Speaker 2: next governor eurek. But he needs your help, very important.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You go to blakemanfronew York dot com. You can donate,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you can volunteer, but do what you can. Go to
- 22:42Speaker 2: Blakeman for New York dot com. Bruce Blakeman, how you doing.
- 22:49Speaker 4: We're doing great, Mark, We've had a very very great
- 22:53Speaker 4: couple of weeks. We're building tremendous momentum. We are going
- 22:57Speaker 4: to win because people throughout New York are miserable. Under
- 23:01Speaker 4: Kathy Hogel. We have the highest taxes, our utility rates
- 23:06Speaker 4: are seventy percent higher than the national average, all directly
- 23:10Speaker 4: attributal to Kathy Hokl. We are at the bottom of
- 23:15Speaker 4: economic development. We're forty one out of fifty states. Mark,
- 23:18Speaker 4: can you imagine the one Great Empire state is forty
- 23:23Speaker 4: one out of fifty states. And economic development, we've got
- 23:27Speaker 4: to create jobs for our young people, good paying jobs.
- 23:29Speaker 4: We've good benefits. We've got to get the economy going.
- 23:33Speaker 4: That's how you make it more affordable. You've got to
- 23:36Speaker 4: cut utility rates, cut taxes, put more money in people's pockets,
- 23:40Speaker 4: and they'll spend it the way they want to spend it,
- 23:42Speaker 4: not the way government tells to spend it. And we
- 23:44Speaker 4: got to stop spending all this money, billions of dollars
- 23:47Speaker 4: on illegal migrants who've been here for fifteen minutes. They're
- 23:51Speaker 4: not and we're giving them free cell phones, free food,
- 23:56Speaker 4: free transportation, free housing, and New Yorkers get the bill
- 24:00Speaker 4: for that. Why are we spending hard earned taxpayer dollars
- 24:05Speaker 4: on people who just by virtue of the fact that
- 24:08Speaker 4: they come here. Because now we've become a migrant, we've
- 24:11Speaker 4: become a magnet rather for legal migrants. Why should we
- 24:15Speaker 4: be paying them all of these benefits with New Yorkers money.
- 24:19Speaker 4: And we think meet things in New York like tax relief,
- 24:22Speaker 4: like lower utilities, like investment in schools, hospitals, infrastructure. It's
- 24:27Speaker 4: just obscene. What Kathy Hoche is doing with their buddy
- 24:31Speaker 4: Zora and Mandami, that the two of them are going
- 24:34Speaker 4: to tax us and spend us into bankruptcy.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to give these two credit though for
- 24:39Speaker 2: a hutzput. The Democrats have run all in New York
- 24:43Speaker 2: State for thirteen years, the legislature, both houses, the governors
- 24:47Speaker 2: or the mayor Democrats, and then they complain about the
- 24:50Speaker 2: affordability crisis that they created.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Created it. They created it when Kathy Hoko said in
- 24:58Speaker 4: their State of the State messive that we're not affordable
- 25:02Speaker 4: here in New York and she's going to be fixing it.
- 25:05Speaker 4: What have you done to the last four and a
- 25:08Speaker 4: half years, What have you done? The answer is nothing.
- 25:13Speaker 4: She hasn't done anything to make it more affordable. She's
- 25:16Speaker 4: made it less affordable by increasing taxes, by engaging in
- 25:19Speaker 4: this green energy scam where basically we're taking billions of
- 25:23Speaker 4: dollars of the rate payers money and we're using it
- 25:26Speaker 4: on science projects for green energy that produced very little energy.
- 25:31Speaker 4: It's very costly. We're sitting on one of the largest
- 25:34Speaker 4: natural gas reserves in the world and she won't let
- 25:37Speaker 4: us drill that. And it's the same reserve that they
- 25:41Speaker 4: have over the border in Pennsylvania. We're buying gas from Pennsylvania.
- 25:45Speaker 4: It's insane what she is doing. She has no management skills.
- 25:50Speaker 4: And look what happened yesterday. She said she had a
- 25:53Speaker 4: budget deal and the speaker said, no, we don't. She's lying.
- 25:57Speaker 4: So I mean, it's just complet uh And it's just
- 26:04Speaker 4: it would be funny if it wasn't so tragic for
- 26:06Speaker 4: the people in New York that the incompetence that we
- 26:10Speaker 4: have in Albany.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Well, that's why you got to go to go to
- 26:12Speaker 2: Blakemanfroewyork dot com. Contribute Blakemanfromnewyork dot com. Hey, now she's
- 26:18Speaker 2: starting a whole new war with Tom Holman. Explain what
- 26:20Speaker 2: you did in Nassau County with Ice. This is how
- 26:23Speaker 2: you make it work. What you did.
- 26:25Speaker 4: So we had a comprehensive agreement with Ice, probably the
- 26:28Speaker 4: most comprehensive, with our police department, our sheriff's department, and
- 26:33Speaker 4: as a result, by cooperating Wen, we rounded up two
- 26:38Speaker 4: thousand illegal migrants with criminal records and had them deported.
- 26:43Speaker 4: People who had committed attempted murder, rape, burglary, robbery, drug dealing,
- 26:50Speaker 4: gang activity, and we got them out of the state,
- 26:54Speaker 4: out of the region, out of my county, and she
- 26:56Speaker 4: would like them to still be here praying on the
- 27:00Speaker 4: residents of our state. And by the way, Mark, we
- 27:03Speaker 4: did it without raiding a school, without raiding a church,
- 27:08Speaker 4: without rating a daycare center, a hospital. We did it
- 27:12Speaker 4: in cooperation with us, so we had control over the
- 27:14Speaker 4: process and as a result, we have the safest county
- 27:18Speaker 4: in America according to the US News and World Report.
- 27:20Speaker 4: That's what I want to do for the rest of
- 27:22Speaker 4: the stay.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, this is a crazy mom, Donnie. We had
- 27:25Speaker 2: these rioters in front of the Parky Synagogue terrorizing Jewish
- 27:30Speaker 2: people there. They called them protested, but they were rioting.
- 27:33Speaker 2: They were clashing with the police. It went on for hours.
- 27:37Speaker 2: What would you have done in that case, Well.
- 27:40Speaker 4: First of all, I would send a very strong message
- 27:43Speaker 4: to zehron Mundami that if he can't keep our community safe,
- 27:47Speaker 4: if he can't keep religious institutions safe, if he can't
- 27:51Speaker 4: stop anti Semitism, racism, or any other kind of hate activity,
- 27:56Speaker 4: that as governor, I will I will send my own
- 28:00Speaker 4: horses to deal with it, and I will make sure
- 28:03Speaker 4: that every community, every house of worship is safe, and
- 28:08Speaker 4: that there's no harassment, no violence, no occupying buildings. He
- 28:13Speaker 4: actually encourages this. I don't know why he's so anti Semitic,
- 28:17Speaker 4: and he is because he doesn't criticize any other country
- 28:21Speaker 4: in the world but Israel. He changed the definition of
- 28:24Speaker 4: anti Semitism as one of his first access mayor. Why
- 28:27Speaker 4: was that the most important thing to do when your
- 28:31Speaker 4: mayor and your city is bleeding billions of dollars because
- 28:35Speaker 4: you spend it on crazy programs that don't benefit anybody.
- 28:39Speaker 4: You have so much fraud, waste, and abuse, and all
- 28:42Speaker 4: he wants to do is raise taxes. So the guy
- 28:46Speaker 4: he is doing a terrible job, and the state and
- 28:50Speaker 4: the city need me to come in and save our
- 28:53Speaker 4: state and save our city from hokal and Mondami.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, ask governor, how much can you do about Texas?
- 29:00Speaker 2: You got to fight this crazy legislator to the legislature.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Well, I'll just veto any tax bill they send me.
- 29:06Speaker 4: I'm not going to let them institute an estate tax,
- 29:11Speaker 4: what I call a guest tax on people who have
- 29:14Speaker 4: assets over seven hundred and fifty thousand when they die.
- 29:18Speaker 4: That that gets an additional tax so that small businesses
- 29:22Speaker 4: will have to be sold to pay the taxes, so
- 29:24Speaker 4: family residents will have to be sold to pay the taxes.
- 29:27Speaker 4: That's that's something that is totally unacceptable to me. I
- 29:32Speaker 4: will not let it happen as governor. And that's what
- 29:35Speaker 4: Kathy Hoakland's around Mandami want to do. They want to
- 29:38Speaker 4: steal all of your hard earned assets so you can't
- 29:42Speaker 4: leave it to your kids and your grandkids. It's disgraceful.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that pier the tear tax has got to be
- 29:48Speaker 2: the dumbest thing in the world. And if you look
- 29:50Speaker 2: at the numbers, it only brings in a couple hundred million.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Why even bother it's such an annoying, little stupid tax.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well, listen, it's crazy because us. What you want is
- 30:01Speaker 4: you want to attract high net worth individuals to your state,
- 30:06Speaker 4: to your city, because they pay most of the taxes.
- 30:11Speaker 4: When they leave, the taxes have to be paid by somebody,
- 30:15Speaker 4: and it's going to fall as a burden on middle
- 30:17Speaker 4: class people. So we don't want that to happen. Number one.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Number two, which people have options. If they're going to
- 30:24Speaker 4: have a vacation home, they can have it in New
- 30:26Speaker 4: York City. If they're driven out of New York City,
- 30:30Speaker 4: they'll have it in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dallas, Texas, bokra Ton, Florida, Miami, Charleston,
- 30:37Speaker 4: South Carolina. They have options that middle class people don't have.
- 30:41Speaker 4: And Mark, when they leave, they take valuable jobs and
- 30:45Speaker 4: they take valuable business away. Think of the carpenters, the electricians,
- 30:50Speaker 4: the plumbers, the waiters, the waitresses, the cleaning services, the
- 30:54Speaker 4: dog walkers, the local pharmacy, the local tavern. They're all
- 30:59Speaker 4: going to suffer. So instead of driving people out who
- 31:03Speaker 4: create jobs and who pay the burden, the biggest burden
- 31:07Speaker 4: of the taxes, I want to encourage them to come
- 31:09Speaker 4: to New York and live in New York and have
- 31:11Speaker 4: their second home in New York and create economic activity
- 31:15Speaker 4: so we'll have better jobs for our people in lower
- 31:17Speaker 4: taxes and lower utility rates.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, you're not like other candidates local mom, Donnie.
- 31:23Speaker 2: All these people that run have really no experience running anything.
- 31:26Speaker 2: You've been the county executive of a major county that's
- 31:30Speaker 2: basically the same job as a governor. See, you would
- 31:32Speaker 2: be the only one going into that office with actual
- 31:34Speaker 2: skills ready to go.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Well, you know, Mark, my county is larger than in
- 31:40Speaker 4: eight states in population. I won reelection in the county
- 31:44Speaker 4: with one hundred and ten thousand more Democrats in a landslide.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I won by thirty six thousand votes. People like what
- 31:52Speaker 4: I've done. I've made us the safest county in America,
- 31:54Speaker 4: according to the US News and World Report. I have
- 31:58Speaker 4: not raised taxes one penny one penny in the last
- 32:03Speaker 4: four years that I've been county executive. We've had a
- 32:06Speaker 4: budget surplus each year. We've gotten seven bond upgrades. Even
- 32:11Speaker 4: the Democrats state controllers said that our finances were in order.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Our finances are excellent. I run a clean operation, a
- 32:20Speaker 4: smart operation, and I always make every decision based on
- 32:25Speaker 4: two things. The taxpayer and the burden that they have
- 32:30Speaker 4: and keeping their communities and their families safe. Those are
- 32:35Speaker 4: the most important things. And that's what I've done in
- 32:38Speaker 4: my county, and that's why I went in a Democratic county,
- 32:40Speaker 4: and that's why I will be a governor that puts
- 32:43Speaker 4: New Yorkers first, puts more money in your pockets, cuts
- 32:47Speaker 4: your utility rates in half, make safer communities, and makes
- 32:51Speaker 4: you happy again, not miserable like Kathy Hochel has.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Yeah, now, the only problem's got she's raised like thirty
- 32:57Speaker 2: forty million. What can people do to help you right now?
- 33:00Speaker 4: Yeh, go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Make an investment in
- 33:05Speaker 4: my campaign. It is a wise investment because she wants
- 33:09Speaker 4: to raise your taxes. Your utility rates are already through
- 33:13Speaker 4: the roof. What do you got to lose? We've had
- 33:16Speaker 4: four years of Kathy Hookle. What do you got to lose?
- 33:20Speaker 4: Vote for me, support me, send us a check, volunteer
- 33:24Speaker 4: in our campaign, be part of a movement to save
- 33:28Speaker 4: this state.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah, very important. Well, you'd be a great governor. Everybody.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot com and donate, volunteer whatever you
- 33:37Speaker 2: can do to help. Blakemanfromnew York dot com. Bruce Blakeman,
- 33:41Speaker 2: good luck. I know you're working hard on the campaign
- 33:43Speaker 2: and we'll talk again soon.
- 33:46Speaker 4: It's always an honor. Mark, Thank you so much, God
- 33:48Speaker 4: bless you.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us. Take care. Yeah, just go
- 33:51Speaker 2: to Blakemanfromnewyork dot com. Get rid of that crazy Kathyhokle
- 33:55Speaker 2: and have somebody that'll put a big roadblock around that
- 33:59Speaker 2: whack mom. Donnie, Hey, don't forget at noon today it's
- 34:03Speaker 2: Buck and Clay. They do an excellent show. You know,
- 34:05Speaker 2: also if you want to listen to my show ten
- 34:09Speaker 2: to noon every day, but you could also get the
- 34:11Speaker 2: podcast and that way you can listen to this show
- 34:14Speaker 2: anytime you want, day or night. And if you remember,
- 34:16Speaker 2: if you're a podcast listener, there's a bonus segment. There's
- 34:20Speaker 2: an extra show just for the podcast listeners every weekend.
- 34:24Speaker 2: So hey, and don't forget Curtis Sliwa on every morning. Here,
- 34:28Speaker 2: Curtis is back. He's on every morning. It's Curtis Sliwa
- 34:31Speaker 2: and Larry Mente six to ten on seven to ten, wof.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Mister New York marsimone on WR.

- 35:06Speaker 2: it completely, completely tossed it out. So that's the end.
