- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome into Jagsiah. I'm Kinani Stephens, Brian Sexton, and John
- 0:19Speaker 1: Oser are with me today. Jack Wars are getting ready
- 0:21Speaker 1: to head to Las Vegas later this week. But first off,
- 0:23Speaker 1: we're going to talk a little bit more about that
- 0:25Speaker 1: Jets performance against the Jets and then also what they're
- 0:28Speaker 1: doing this week to prepare for the Raiders. So we'll
- 0:29Speaker 1: start out with big thing number one, which is rookie phenom.
- 0:32Speaker 1: As we know, Brian Thomas Junior had a breakout game
- 0:34Speaker 1: against the Jets two touchdowns, one hundred and five receiving
- 0:36Speaker 1: yards and ten receptions, one of his best performances so far.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And Brian, we've talked a lot about. I made that
- 0:43Speaker 1: not so hot take of that. I think he's the
- 0:44Speaker 1: best rookie wide receiver of this class. But quickly is
- 0:48Speaker 1: he approaching maybe top ten in the league as one
- 0:50Speaker 1: of the better receivers as a whole.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Wait, look, Tuck, he's going to be. I mean it
- 0:53Speaker 2: doesn't matter what you ask him to do. Catch it
- 0:55Speaker 2: short and run on a slant, or go deep and
- 0:58Speaker 2: catch the ball like he did against Jalen Rams on
- 1:00Speaker 2: opening Day. He's tall, he's long, he's fast, he's got
- 1:04Speaker 2: game strength. I mean, this is a guy who's got
- 1:07Speaker 2: everything you could possibly want, and you know we talk
- 1:09Speaker 2: about hot takes. I didn't want the drag Wars to
- 1:11Speaker 2: draft him. I thought this was too good of a
- 1:13Speaker 2: draft for offensive tackles, that you needed to get big guys,
- 1:16Speaker 2: and yet they took him, and he turned into one
- 1:19Speaker 2: of the best Drag Wars draft picks that I can recall,
- 1:22Speaker 2: and one of the best receivers in Jaguars history. I
- 1:24Speaker 2: mean Jimmy Smith right, Thomas Junior. He doesn't say a
- 1:28Speaker 2: lot about the Jaguars history of wide receivers. There have
- 1:30Speaker 2: been some really good ones, but this guy looked like
- 1:32Speaker 2: he's going to be mentioned among the very best.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I think what's really impressive is I've never seen a
- 1:38Speaker 3: rookie wide receiver who is as good as a rookie
- 1:42Speaker 3: as he is in his third or fourth year, because
- 1:43Speaker 3: there's so much to learn. There's so much in terms
- 1:46Speaker 3: of route running in it's just NFL knowledge and experience
- 1:51Speaker 3: that you gained. I'd say he's approaching top ten and
- 1:54Speaker 3: if I could put him there yet. But I was
- 1:56Speaker 3: with Brian. I thought they should have gone big. I
- 2:00Speaker 3: want this team to get bigger stronger, more dominant up front.
- 2:03Speaker 3: But you also need superstars, and on a team that
- 2:07Speaker 3: hasn't had enough, especially at that position, which is a
- 2:10Speaker 3: premier position in the NFL. Now it looks like they
- 2:13Speaker 3: finally have a superstar.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Kay I told the story back after the Colts game,
- 2:17Speaker 2: after his fifth week in professional football, that standing next
- 2:20Speaker 2: to Jimmy Smith and listening to the greatest of the
- 2:23Speaker 2: Jaguars receivers talk about this kid admirably, admirably, you know,
- 2:28Speaker 2: talking about his great traits and what he saw in
- 2:31Speaker 2: him in just a few games told me everything I
- 2:33Speaker 2: needed to know about Brian Thomas junior.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to think about him. If we
- 2:36Speaker 1: hadn't drafted him this year, this season without him would
- 2:39Speaker 1: not have been any fun at all. So let's get
- 2:41Speaker 1: to our second big thing, which is return of the Mac.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Now.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Mac obviously threw a crucial interception at the end of
- 2:46Speaker 1: the game against the Jets, but overall, probably his best
- 2:48Speaker 1: game so far in the Jaguars uniform. John and if
- 2:52Speaker 1: nothing else Mac is entertaining. Is this the Mac We're
- 2:55Speaker 1: going to get the rest of the way or do
- 2:56Speaker 1: we still not know because of the inconsistency?
- 2:58Speaker 3: Well, I hope. So he's played, he's had moments. He
- 3:03Speaker 3: was certainly better on Sunday than he has been. I
- 3:09Speaker 3: think you're gonna get it in the sense that he's
- 3:11Speaker 3: gonna throw a pick that breaks your heart. That seems
- 3:16Speaker 3: like it's happened every game. But the other day he
- 3:20Speaker 3: mixed in a lot of energy. He mixed in being
- 3:22Speaker 3: able to go downfield of Brian Thomas Jr. Really getting
- 3:25Speaker 3: him the ball he distributed, and yeah, it was fun
- 3:30Speaker 3: to watch him. I think teammates got behind him. So
- 3:32Speaker 3: I would say, yeah, there's three games left, I would
- 3:35Speaker 3: say you'd see good Mac Mac in two of them
- 3:39Speaker 3: and one of them you'll probably see bad Mac that
- 3:41Speaker 3: breaks your heart. And I hope not because I like
- 3:44Speaker 3: the kid.
- 3:44Speaker 2: We are seeing more of the good Mac, right, I
- 3:47Speaker 2: mean week to week, there's more good than bad with Mac,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and so that you know, boges well with three games
- 3:53Speaker 2: left that perhaps we'll see some really good Mac before
- 3:55Speaker 2: this is all said and done with. You'd rather be
- 3:58Speaker 2: the Jaguars with Mac Joones than the Raiders with Desmond Ritter.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I mean, you got a guy that you know can
- 4:04Speaker 2: go out and operate and John when I watch him,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I just think you hear quarterbacks described as guys who
- 4:09Speaker 2: can make all the throws, Well, he don't look like
- 4:11Speaker 2: you make all the throws. He doesn't have that deep
- 4:13Speaker 2: ball accuracy to be able to really take advantage of
- 4:16Speaker 2: someone like Brian Thomas Junior. So the trick for Press Taylor,
- 4:20Speaker 2: for Doug this week is to figure out a way
- 4:24Speaker 2: to tailor the game plan to do what he does
- 4:26Speaker 2: and still find a way to throw the ball deep
- 4:28Speaker 2: when you can.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Coming up.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Our final big thing is going to be familiar faces
- 4:32Speaker 1: because we take on the Raiders this week and there
- 4:33Speaker 1: are a couple of familiar faces on the defensive side
- 4:36Speaker 1: of the football. Former defensive coordinator here Mike Caldwell now
- 4:39Speaker 1: out the linebackers coach for the Raiders, and also kaylebon
- 4:43Speaker 1: Chase on who Brian already has three sacks and one
- 4:46Speaker 1: interception this year for the Raiders.
- 4:47Speaker 2: One of the all time worst first round picks in
- 4:50Speaker 2: Jaguars history, and there have been a lot of them,
- 4:53Speaker 2: but this is the guy that the Jaguars took instead
- 4:55Speaker 2: of taking Justin Jefferson. And I still think how the
- 4:59Speaker 2: world in the twenty twenty draft room, can you say,
- 5:01Speaker 2: look at twenty twenty one. We're taking a quarterback no
- 5:03Speaker 2: matter what. So how are we doing this? I mean,
- 5:07Speaker 2: how are we taking this past Rusher who had six
- 5:10Speaker 2: sacks in one year. I'm sorry, I'm going way back
- 5:12Speaker 2: in the past, but yeah, I'll always remember Caleb On
- 5:15Speaker 2: Chase On as not being justin Jefferson.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they were filling needs in that draft, and when
- 5:20Speaker 3: you reach for needs, you hurt yourself. So look, there's
- 5:25Speaker 3: anything wrong with Calebon I'm not gonna say here in
- 5:28Speaker 3: the show and Slam. He was not what they hoped
- 5:32Speaker 3: for in four years here, and good for him if
- 5:35Speaker 3: he's having some success, and you know, good for Mike.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Good for Mike callwell too. It's in the past, all right.
- 5:41Speaker 1: We'll talk some more about the Raiders later this week,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but coming up after the break, we're gonna talk about
- 5:45Speaker 1: what's going on around the NFL. Welcome back to jag
- 5:53Speaker 1: vaan brought to you by Field's Auto, Jacksonville's premier luxury
- 5:56Speaker 1: auto group. Head over to Fields Auto dot com to
- 5:58Speaker 1: check him out today. Welcome back into jags Am.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It's week sixteen.
- 6:06Speaker 1: At this point, we're getting ready to head to Las
- 6:07Speaker 1: Vegas a little bit later in the week. But we're
- 6:09Speaker 1: going to talk about what's been going on around the
- 6:10Speaker 1: NFL as well, so we keep you up to date
- 6:12Speaker 1: on everything. We're gonna play the Titans again in two weeks,
- 6:16Speaker 1: but who will be the quarterback will be interesting, as
- 6:19Speaker 1: they benched Will Levis against the Bengals this week after
- 6:21Speaker 1: three interceptions, including a pick six, and it got ugly
- 6:24Speaker 1: really quick. We saw some ugly play from Levis when
- 6:26Speaker 1: we played them earlier this month, but doesn't look good
- 6:29Speaker 1: for him there.
- 6:30Speaker 2: No I would think that Mason Rudolph would be the
- 6:31Speaker 2: guy that they would go with. It gives him the
- 6:33Speaker 2: best chance to execute on offense, and we've been talking
- 6:35Speaker 2: about that here all year. Is making sure that some
- 6:38Speaker 2: of the young guys, whether it's an offensive lineman or
- 6:40Speaker 2: a skilled position player, they have the best chance to
- 6:43Speaker 2: engage the offense and execute the offense.
- 6:46Speaker 3: And Mason Rudolf is a competent backup.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And at some point Brian Callahan just as to say enough,
- 6:51Speaker 2: I've seen enough.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I need to see my offense work well, And I
- 6:54Speaker 3: think he probably cares less about seeing the offense work
- 6:58Speaker 3: in the short term. In the frame is knowing who
- 7:01Speaker 3: the quarterback is going to be. In the long term.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Before the Titans Jaguars game, or was it ten days ago,
- 7:08Speaker 3: the storyline up there was that Levis had done some
- 7:10Speaker 3: good things and there was a chance that he could
- 7:12Speaker 3: be the guy moving forward. The reason this is such
- 7:15Speaker 3: an important story for the Jaguars is now you sort
- 7:17Speaker 3: of know he's not gonna be the guy there, So
- 7:20Speaker 3: you're gonna have a team in Tennessee that gets into
- 7:23Speaker 3: that quarterback building, find dark guy mode again, and that'll
- 7:28Speaker 3: be their storyline until they find.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The guy interesting interesting. I thought it was gonna be
- 7:32Speaker 1: the Colts maybe, but Anthony Richardson has been playing a
- 7:34Speaker 1: bit more too, so I guess we'll see.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Well, Anthony Richardson, listen. I mean when you look at
- 7:38Speaker 2: him as a pastor, you still think what's he doing?
- 7:41Speaker 2: And then you watch him run and make a couple
- 7:43Speaker 2: of throws on the run and think, well, maybe, you know,
- 7:46Speaker 2: maybe they can refine that. But they're gonna have to
- 7:48Speaker 2: be really patient until he comes way around.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it's awfully hard when all you can do is
- 7:54Speaker 3: run as a quarterback. They're great runners Kyler Murray and
- 7:58Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson and guys like that, but they are much
- 8:02Speaker 3: more polished and you know can win from the pocket
- 8:06Speaker 3: at times. Anthony richards right has to have time every
- 8:08Speaker 3: winning for the box.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Well listen, I mean Lamar Jackson came into the league
- 8:11Speaker 2: and he was a better passor than Anthony richards and
- 8:13Speaker 2: he has done it more at Louisville. You know, Heisman Trophy,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but he wasn't as polished as he needed to be.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And when you see him the last couple of years
- 8:21Speaker 2: in particular, he's really lifted his game. So I mean,
- 8:23Speaker 2: I would have some hope for Anthony Richardson because I
- 8:26Speaker 2: hear he's a good kid and works hard.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We will see, we will see development game for sure.
- 8:32Speaker 1: As far as the Raiders that we're going to be
- 8:33Speaker 1: facing off against this week, they played on Monday Night football,
- 8:35Speaker 1: so it's a short week for them taking on the
- 8:37Speaker 1: Falcons in a barn burner twelve to nine.
- 8:41Speaker 3: So is that the offense we're gonna see?
- 8:43Speaker 1: I guess, or I guess the Falcons haven't fallen off
- 8:45Speaker 1: as well. With Kirk Cousins not playing very well.
- 8:48Speaker 3: It's so hard to know what you're going to get
- 8:49Speaker 3: from a team that's out of it. With he's a
- 8:52Speaker 3: third quarterback. They've had so It would have been easy
- 8:57Speaker 3: last week, right for fans and say, well, the Jaguars
- 9:01Speaker 3: can't score against the Jets. We all sort of did it,
- 9:03Speaker 3: but they came out found something and they got twenty
- 9:05Speaker 3: two points. So you can never say with the team
- 9:08Speaker 3: that's out of it just because this happened, it is
- 9:12Speaker 3: gonna happen. They're depleted. Both teams should strive to get
- 9:19Speaker 3: out of the teams and I would guess the team
- 9:21Speaker 3: that scored seventeen or more wins, but I thought that
- 9:24Speaker 3: last week too.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Just to your point on the Falcons, they're seven and seven,
- 9:27Speaker 2: but you know they have Bejon Robinson, right, and they
- 9:31Speaker 2: have big, toll fast receivers. That's suppose that they went
- 9:35Speaker 2: and gavee Kirk Cousins all that money because they thought,
- 9:37Speaker 2: here we go. I mean, this is our year to
- 9:39Speaker 2: challenge and they're still in it in the NFC with
- 9:41Speaker 2: a couple of games left to go. That's a perplexing
- 9:43Speaker 2: team because there is a lot of ability up there
- 9:47Speaker 2: and they just haven't got enough from it.
- 9:48Speaker 1: A lot of parody around the league. Definitely interesting to
- 9:51Speaker 1: watch it all go down. Say well, so we're going
- 9:53Speaker 1: to do a little this or that after the break
- 10:02Speaker 1: for eleven years, Dreamfinders Homes I'm been proud to call
- 10:05Speaker 1: themselves the official home builder of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Physic Dreamfinders'
- 10:08Speaker 1: Homes dot com for all of the available inventory and
- 10:10Speaker 1: go Jags.
- 10:11Speaker 3: This this Schoor's.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Welcome back to jagszam or and do a little this
- 10:20Speaker 1: or that. As we look at this team going forward
- 10:22Speaker 1: the last three games of the season, we've talked a
- 10:24Speaker 1: ton about the younger players kind of going up basically
- 10:28Speaker 1: seeing what that is available for them. I think we've noticed,
- 10:31Speaker 1: at least specifically on defense, there's gonna be some holes
- 10:33Speaker 1: to be filled in the off season and some positions
- 10:35Speaker 1: that are open. Is there a position group that you
- 10:37Speaker 1: think specifically is one that is a need at this
- 10:42Speaker 1: point or that you want to see younger players step up?
- 10:44Speaker 3: Or who are you kind of looking at.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Well, I'll stick with the defensive line because I've been
- 10:47Speaker 2: on that and not the X to your guys, obviously,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you know what you have with Josh and with Trayvon.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You've got to be able to stop the run. And
- 10:54Speaker 2: this team there was a section of the season where
- 10:57Speaker 2: they just couldn't do anything at the line of scrimmage.
- 11:01Speaker 2: On defense, you draft Mason Smith and Jordan Jefferson. I
- 11:05Speaker 2: need to see those guys and we haven't seen them
- 11:07Speaker 2: on the field together. We haven't even seen him active
- 11:09Speaker 2: on the same game day when Jefferson was active in
- 11:12Speaker 2: doing things in London, and just after London, Mason Smith wasn't.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Mason Smith's been active the last couple of weeks. That
- 11:18Speaker 2: was a second and a fourth round pick. Those two
- 11:21Speaker 2: guys have got to come through in a big way
- 11:23Speaker 2: or you've got to go at the top of the
- 11:25Speaker 2: draft next year and be looking for defensive tackles because
- 11:28Speaker 2: you're just not big enough and strong enough inside on
- 11:30Speaker 2: the defensive line.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I kind of think it doesn't matter what these
- 11:35Speaker 3: guys do. At the end. I think you need to
- 11:37Speaker 3: get stouter, bigger in the defensive line. And I'm not
- 11:40Speaker 3: sure that you know. We need to stop playing depth
- 11:44Speaker 3: chart football. I call it in the alf season with
- 11:45Speaker 3: the defensive line and just get as many guys as
- 11:48Speaker 3: you can because you need six or seven really good
- 11:50Speaker 3: players up there to do it, and I think they
- 11:52Speaker 3: have it. I'll go defensive back. For the point of
- 11:55Speaker 3: the question, you really wonder what safety is gonna look
- 11:58Speaker 3: like next year. Yeah, I don't think Cisco is going
- 12:01Speaker 3: to be back. Dewey, who I liked very much as
- 12:03Speaker 3: a player, hasn't really gotten on the field very much.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Antonio Johnson struggled. So I think you keep playing those guys.
- 12:12Speaker 3: You get Antonio into the lineup, you get DeAndre Prince
- 12:15Speaker 3: into the lineup, but they need some bodies and some
- 12:20Speaker 3: young bodies without regard to depth chart defensive back and
- 12:24Speaker 3: defensive line, because there's just not enough there there.
- 12:28Speaker 2: No, And I don't want to see him play in
- 12:31Speaker 2: free agency at all at all. You like to just
- 12:34Speaker 2: shut it down and not go there at all. They
- 12:37Speaker 2: will go into it. It's what the Jaguars have done historically.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Safety is a place where you might be able to
- 12:42Speaker 2: go find a couple of guys who can come in
- 12:44Speaker 2: and help you. But I'm with you, you have to
- 12:47Speaker 2: overhauld the position and scheme might have something to do
- 12:49Speaker 2: with it. Yeah, you know, the defensive scheme doesn't work.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I don't know whether you ask Ryan Nielsen to change
- 12:55Speaker 2: it or you change that. I don't know what you
- 12:57Speaker 2: do there, but maybe that has something to do with
- 12:59Speaker 2: how these guys can play better.
- 13:01Speaker 3: And here's what we're talking about with free agency. Look,
- 13:04Speaker 3: I like Darnell Savage, he's been good, but you pay
- 13:09Speaker 3: a veteran guy to come in and be what you
- 13:13Speaker 3: would hope that you could get a second year guy
- 13:15Speaker 3: to be. And I darn Hosk have a good, long career,
- 13:19Speaker 3: but I don't know that paying that to bring it
- 13:22Speaker 3: in is better than having second year guy to bring
- 13:25Speaker 3: it in. And they've got to start having second and
- 13:27Speaker 3: third year guys playing these roles that they're bringing these
- 13:30Speaker 3: veterans into play.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Well, let me qualify it. Then I don't want him
- 13:32Speaker 2: to play in heavy you know, in big name free agency.
- 13:35Speaker 2: But go find a couple of guys who you can
- 13:38Speaker 2: bring in here to off the level of competition, that
- 13:42Speaker 2: second tier, that third tier of guys, big bodies who
- 13:45Speaker 2: can run, and that you can coach them and figure
- 13:48Speaker 2: out whether they can play or not. Because other than
- 13:50Speaker 2: Antonio Johnson, you don't you don't look like you've got anybody.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I mean Savage.
- 13:54Speaker 2: But we know that the big dollar free agent doesn't work,
- 13:58Speaker 2: not long term think.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So not short term much either. But we'll make it
- 14:02Speaker 1: happen for my second this or that. Today I'm looking
- 14:05Speaker 1: a little bit. We talked about both of these guys already,
- 14:07Speaker 1: but Mac Jones doesn't Ritter. These are backup quarterbacks in
- 14:09Speaker 1: this matchup. We're gonna see on Sunday. Which of them
- 14:11Speaker 1: has a better opportunity at this point, Who do you
- 14:14Speaker 1: think is making a better case for themselves? Obviously doesn't,
- 14:17Speaker 1: Ritter hasn't hasn't had as many games as Mac thus far.
- 14:19Speaker 1: But towards the end of the season. Who's gonna have
- 14:21Speaker 1: this better chance? Who's gonna take advantage of the opportunity?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Well, I think realistically both, I'm trying to dodge the question.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I think both of them are gonna be back ups.
- 14:32Speaker 3: They're the same guy, and uh, they haven't really shown
- 14:38Speaker 3: that magic or his azz. I don't know that gms
- 14:41Speaker 3: are gonna be sitting boy. We've got to have that
- 14:44Speaker 3: at a starting level salary. As opposed to, you know,
- 14:48Speaker 3: let's go draft. Are you gonna bring Mac Jones in
- 14:51Speaker 3: next year if you're the you know, a team in
- 14:54Speaker 3: the A C West, for example, to say, okay, we're
- 14:56Speaker 3: gonna start him. I don't think so. I think they're
- 14:59Speaker 3: both gonna be good backup quarterbacks.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think Mac has earned the free agent contract.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I don't think any would argue that he hasn't earned
- 15:06Speaker 2: the free agent contract. I'd like to see Mac back
- 15:08Speaker 2: here as a backup, right, I mean a guy who
- 15:10Speaker 2: can play in his hometown for a number of years. Listen,
- 15:13Speaker 2: how much should Chase Daniel make the former Saint and
- 15:16Speaker 2: he was around the league with a couple of different teams,
- 15:18Speaker 2: the Eagles for a while. He made like forty seven
- 15:21Speaker 2: million dollars in fourteen years of being a backup quarterback.
- 15:24Speaker 2: It is a lucrative way to make a living, So
- 15:27Speaker 2: maybe that would work. I think both of these guys
- 15:29Speaker 2: are the same guy. It's hard to say who has
- 15:31Speaker 2: a greater opportunity. I'll go with Mac because he's got
- 15:34Speaker 2: Brian Thomas Junior on the field.

- 16:53Speaker 1: but apparently didn't see it. And uh thought Josh high
- 16:56Speaker 1: Down was on too, because Josh does that a lot.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Super impressive. But was I the only person who was
- 17:00Speaker 2: thinking about when Buccaneers kicker Martine Gramatica did the same
- 17:03Speaker 2: thing in towards a CEO? Remember that a couple of
- 17:05Speaker 2: years ago on Monday Night football.
- 17:07Speaker 3: A couple was about twenty three long ago. Yeah, we
- 17:10Speaker 3: do didn't see that long. It was a hike for
- 17:11Speaker 3: guys like you and me. It's not longer. I thought
- 17:15Speaker 3: it was really cool. That was really funny, and yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 3: probably gonna do it every play. I was a little scary.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna make the full rotation, but the one
- 17:23Speaker 1: got hurt.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Awesome athlete.
- 17:25Speaker 2: It was good.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Three hundred pound backflip is impressive. Coming up this week, obviously,
- 17:30Speaker 1: we're getting ready to head to the West Coast our
- 17:31Speaker 1: first West.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Coast game, I think this season. Yes, I don't think
- 17:34Speaker 3: we went last season either. Anytime you could avoid going
- 17:38Speaker 3: to the West Coast, it's a good.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Deal, probably for the best.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. Is it a bit of track?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Of course we had the London trip in there, so
- 17:43Speaker 1: there's always that. What are you guys looking at this week?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Who are you talking to?
- 17:47Speaker 2: I'm going to talk to you Richard and Google the
- 17:48Speaker 2: tight Ends coach about Brenton Strange. You know, we spent
- 17:51Speaker 2: so much time on Brian Thomas Junior, and rightfully so.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I mean, he's the story of the season, but quietly,
- 17:56Speaker 2: Brenton Strange has carved a roll out for himself bigger
- 18:01Speaker 2: than I think a lot of people thought possible in
- 18:03Speaker 2: year two, especially after year one was kind of limited.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I think he's got big time potential and I'm excited
- 18:10Speaker 2: to talk to Richard and Google about him.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Yeah, he's turning into a nice player. I'm hoping to
- 18:14Speaker 3: get Mac Jones. Sometimes the quarterback can be busy during
- 18:17Speaker 3: the week, so I think it could be fun. We
- 18:20Speaker 3: can talk about Southside Private School Jackson.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Listen, it will be more than fun. I mean, you'll
- 18:26Speaker 2: just have to sit back and let him do all
- 18:28Speaker 2: the talking.
- 18:29Speaker 3: He's a good time.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'll tell you all his favorite restaurant choices. I'm sure
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna be talking to the backflipper himself, Fos, I believe,
- 18:36Speaker 1: and I will find out where all that came from,
- 18:37Speaker 1: if he's a gymnast or what in the off season.
- 18:40Speaker 1: But we'll be back again tomorrow on Jagsam. We'll talk
- 18:42Speaker 1: to you more about that Raiders matchup coming up this weekend.
