- 0:04Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast. This week on Yo
- 0:14Speaker 1: Gabble Gabble, if you let your co-worker, stripper, friend borrow
- 0:20Speaker 1: some tearaway fireman pants, can you then sue them to
- 0:23Speaker 1: get back that money? Who tells us?
- 0:28Speaker 2: John Trenter! And if you get into a little bit
- 0:33Speaker 2: of a disagreement with your LARPing partner, can you sue them?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Judge Mom tells us real people. Real cases. Fake justice.
- 0:40Speaker 1: This is Yoga Book of All. Yes. Hello, everybody. How
- 0:46Speaker 1: are we today? We're doing good? Doing great, Brian.
- 0:49Speaker 2: How about you?
- 0:49Speaker 1: I'm just glad you finally did it.
- 0:51Speaker 2: You went to the judge render, and it sounds like
- 0:54Speaker 2: you got yourself a doozy.
- 0:56Speaker 1: A doozy. I'll go first, too. I'd be happy to,
- 0:59Speaker 1: but maybe we can tell people what the show's about first. Oh, yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It's a very simple show. Oh, hi.
- 1:03Speaker 2: It's Brandon Dan. I'm going to tell Dan about a
- 1:05Speaker 2: TV courtroom case that I watched. He's going to try
- 1:07Speaker 2: to guess the verdict. Dan's going to do the exact
- 1:08Speaker 2: same thing for me. That's why we call it Yo
- 1:10Speaker 2: Gavel Gavel. It's two gavels, two cases.
- 1:12Speaker 1: That's right. That's the whole ballgame here. Dan, hit it.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hit it. Judge Rinder, a British show that is now
- 1:18Speaker 1: has a season or two on Amazon.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I think they're older episodes, but they're fantastic. A judge
- 1:22Speaker 2: that I told you about a couple weeks ago, and
- 1:24Speaker 2: here you are.
- 1:25Speaker 1: You've done it. And it's serious cases with a serious
- 1:28Speaker 1: judge who knows the law, but he has the British
- 1:30Speaker 1: dry wit. Yes. And it's pretty perfect. It's pretty good.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Pretty good. You get it. Uh, let me introduce you
- 1:38Speaker 1: to Jermaine suing Darren for 200 pounds for a damaged
- 1:42Speaker 1: stripper suit. Okay. So Jermaine and Darren are both male
- 1:46Speaker 1: strippers in London.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Jermaine's like, it says I'm a dancer slash stripper. Uh,
- 1:53Speaker 1: we see a pic of Jermaine in his fireman's outfit. Okay. Uh,
- 1:57Speaker 1: Judge Rinder says, Darren, you're also a stripper. And Darren
- 2:00Speaker 1: is a little bit younger and says yes for a
- 2:02Speaker 1: year and a half. And judge Rinder says, are you
- 2:05Speaker 1: both in the same company? What's that name? And Darren
- 2:08Speaker 1: says the UK pleasure boys. Yeah. Sure. I was hoping
- 2:12Speaker 1: they would be. Yeah. Render has some things to say
- 2:15Speaker 1: about that. Some funny zingers and you can go look
- 2:18Speaker 1: that up. Darren says, Render's like, how does this work?
- 2:22Speaker 1: And Darren says, the manager provides the outfits, but we
- 2:25Speaker 1: have to pay for them if anything happens to them.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was responsible for a pair of fireman's pants. Render
- 2:34Speaker 1: asked him to put the What the, Oh, this is Jermaine.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Not Jermaine says I was responsible for a pair of
- 2:40Speaker 1: fireman's pants that I had in my wardrobe. Yes. From
- 2:43Speaker 1: the owner of the company. Got it. Render says, can
- 2:46Speaker 1: you put, you brought him here? Can you put the
- 2:47Speaker 1: pants on while I explain the case? Sure. Jermaine's putting
- 2:52Speaker 1: the pants on. Render says, so Jermaine lent the trousers
- 2:55Speaker 1: to Darren and Darren damaged the trousers, which now Jermaine
- 2:58Speaker 1: has to pay for. And it's also being kept from
- 3:01Speaker 1: working until he does. I do hope it's more elegant
- 3:04Speaker 1: when you do this on stage. So we have the
- 3:07Speaker 1: day he's putting on the damaged trousers. They've been replaced.
- 3:10Speaker 1: They've been fixed, but he's putting them on. And we
- 3:12Speaker 1: wonder why that's happening. And Jermaine's like, it's not supposed
- 3:15Speaker 1: to be elegant when I put the clothes on. That's right. Right?
- 3:20Speaker 1: And Rinder says, never thought I'd ask this, but how
- 3:25Speaker 1: do they come off, Jermaine? Jermaine bends down to the ankles,
- 3:31Speaker 1: Velcro tear away.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yes. And I got to be honest, not in my
- 3:34Speaker 2: experience with stripping, but with basketball, you.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Uh, the, the button tearaway pants that can snag pretty easily.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I wish they had Velcro. I had button.
- 3:47Speaker 2: The buttons are when I played, uh, when we both
- 3:50Speaker 2: played basketball, high school basketball is what we both played basketball, basketball,
- 3:54Speaker 2: not strip. What school did you play for? Uh, sugar,
- 3:57Speaker 2: maple court, sugar, maple court.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Shout out. You use those in the, the same lot
- 4:01Speaker 1: out there. Heck yeah, brother. I had some red tearaways.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah. um nasties here uh so then also my stripper
- 4:08Speaker 2: name but i didn't use use the same the others
- 4:11Speaker 2: were different uh render says uh when there are ladies
- 4:15Speaker 2: in the audience there's a risk with those trousers i
- 4:17Speaker 2: would assume in a room full of ladies and their
- 4:20Speaker 2: let's say aggressive enthusiasm that ripping a pair of trousers
- 4:24Speaker 2: holds some risk yes jermaine says yes absolutely render says
- 4:28Speaker 2: darren Why'd you ask to borrow these trousers? Darren says,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I brought the wrong music and it was the music
- 4:35Speaker 2: for a fireman. And I didn't mean to bring that music. Uh,
- 4:40Speaker 2: what's that music? What's fireman music?
- 4:43Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't get that information. Sirens. Maybe
- 4:46Speaker 1: a little sirens in there. Uh, uh, maybe it's, uh,
- 4:51Speaker 1: somebody called nine one, one shorty fire burning on the
- 4:54Speaker 1: dance floor. That's right. Um, Render says, do you not
- 4:59Speaker 1: have your own fireman's trousers? You have music for the fireman.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Darren says, no, like you do borrow them on the
- 5:07Speaker 1: night of the performance. I went out and did my
- 5:08Speaker 1: normal show. The room we were getting changed in, the
- 5:13Speaker 1: room we were getting changed in and Jermaine wasn't in
- 5:16Speaker 1: there after the show. So I put the trousers back
- 5:19Speaker 1: on top of his bag and that was the end
- 5:21Speaker 1: of it as far as I was concerned. So he
- 5:22Speaker 1: did the routine, bada bing, bada boom, put them back
- 5:25Speaker 1: on top of his back. Render says, describe the scene
- 5:28Speaker 1: for me all throughout this. His bailiff is a female
- 5:32Speaker 1: and he's always like, settle down. Like he's, he just
- 5:34Speaker 1: keeps doing a bit with her. Yeah. Um, uh, Darren
- 5:37Speaker 1: says there are around 250 ladies there. Uh, and he
- 5:41Speaker 1: goes like a certain age, like, you know, like young,
- 5:44Speaker 1: young ladies, just excited to be out. It's an all play. And, uh,
- 5:47Speaker 1: Darren says you can have some cougars in there for sure. And, uh,
- 5:54Speaker 1: Render doesn't know what a cougar means, which is crazy.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Come on. And then he says, what do they do?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Do they clap and cheer? Like what kind of level
- 6:03Speaker 1: of crazy are we talking about? He goes, they scream,
- 6:05Speaker 1: they throw stuff, money, underwear. Render has plenty to say
- 6:09Speaker 1: about that. Was there anything unusual about how you pulled
- 6:11Speaker 1: them off? Jermaine says, or Darren says Jermaine bent over
- 6:15Speaker 1: and ripped from the ankle. I usually rip from the hip. interesting.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Rip from the hip. That's exactly right. Rinder says, Jermaine,
- 6:23Speaker 1: how many times have you ripped those particular trousers off?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Jermaine says, at least 40. Do you always rip from
- 6:28Speaker 1: the hip or do you sometimes rip from the ankle
- 6:32Speaker 1: or do you sometimes rip from the hip? Jermaine says,
- 6:35Speaker 1: the way I show you, every time I rip from
- 6:37Speaker 1: the ankle.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Well, I think, again, if you're on a basketball court
- 6:41Speaker 2: and if you spin around so that you're.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Butt is towards the fans in the crowd. And you
- 6:50Speaker 1: bend over. Bend over. Whammo. That's a pretty good show.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But if you're front facing. That's true. Whammo. Whammo. Did
- 6:57Speaker 1: you go with a thrust?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Again, that's on the basketball court. We see a receipt
- 7:01Speaker 2: for the damage because he took the pants back to
- 7:04Speaker 2: his boss. The boss went and got them repaired. We
- 7:06Speaker 2: see the actual receipt, 50 pounds. He's suing for 200 pounds.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And what is the specific damage? It was, you'll get there.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Don't worry. Render says, so you came off stage. They
- 7:15Speaker 1: were back on your bag. What did you discover? He said,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I checked my bag when I got home and there
- 7:19Speaker 1: was a split on the seam from the crotch all
- 7:21Speaker 1: the way down. If I was on stage, I couldn't
- 7:23Speaker 1: perform with that hole in my pants. I'm sorry, you
- 7:28Speaker 1: can't strip if there's a hole in your crotch? Rinder says,
- 7:32Speaker 1: heaven forbid you strip with a hole in your pants.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Me and Judge Rinder. Then he says, Darren, you were
- 7:38Speaker 1: the last person to wear them. I assume you checked
- 7:40Speaker 1: for damage before you put them on in a performance.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Darren's like, I always check my outfit before I wear them.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Because I was in a rush, they were germains, I
- 7:48Speaker 1: didn't check them beforehand. Rinder says, you might have noticed
- 7:51Speaker 1: if there was a rip in the crotch. Darren says,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I would have definitely noticed, definitely felt the breeze. Render says,
- 8:01Speaker 1: so Jermaine, that's $ 50. The rest of this 250 pounds,
- 8:04Speaker 1: the rest of this is for a loss of earnings.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Jermaine says, yes, the following day, the pants are still damaged.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm not allowed to perform if I turn in damaged
- 8:13Speaker 1: wardrobe and the trousers weren't fixed yet. And I lost,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I paid the 50 and then I lost that night's wages.
- 8:19Speaker 1: 150 pounds is my fee. Render's like, Darren, what's the
- 8:24Speaker 1: most you've ever made in a performance? Darren goes, tips.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Render goes, no advice on life. classic zinger. Uh, uh,
- 8:33Speaker 1: Darren says I've made about 200 pounds in tips and
- 8:36Speaker 1: render goes one 50 appearance fee, 200 in tips. That's
- 8:39Speaker 1: 350 pounds for a 15 to 30 minute, uh, dance.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's a pretty solid earn. Um, we have a statement
- 8:47Speaker 1: from the manager that Jermaine has brought in and it
- 8:49Speaker 1: said he took the trousers to get repaired. He vouches
- 8:51Speaker 1: that Jermaine couldn't perform without the trousers and did lose
- 8:55Speaker 1: $ 150 in or pounds in wages. Um, Render says, does
- 8:59Speaker 1: your grandmother know you do this? Jermaine says, no, she
- 9:02Speaker 1: thinks I just dance. And that's a funny bit. And
- 9:05Speaker 1: now he's ready to roll.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yes, I believe that young Jermaine is going to get
- 9:11Speaker 2: some money today. I think he did his buddy a solid.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And part of what I believe to be the case
- 9:21Speaker 2: here is he was able to go on stage and dance,
- 9:25Speaker 2: which leads me to believe that there was not a
- 9:28Speaker 2: hole in that crotch because that goes against the rules
- 9:31Speaker 2: of the establishment. Um, and so that leads me to
- 9:34Speaker 2: believe that it is him that made that hole in
- 9:37Speaker 2: the crotch.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I think he should have to pay this money. I'm
- 9:39Speaker 1: going to give it to him. You'd think that wouldn't you, uh,
- 9:42Speaker 1: judge render says, uh, you have a problem with your case, Jermaine,
- 9:45Speaker 1: although you've prepared it and presented it very well. You've
- 9:48Speaker 1: both been very honest in my opinion, which is helpful
- 9:51Speaker 1: in making a ruling. Thank you very much. The problem is, Jermaine,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you have to prove your case, meaning that you have
- 9:55Speaker 1: to prove that he removed those trousers negligently. He did
- 9:59Speaker 1: it in a way that was below the proper standard
- 10:01Speaker 1: of a stripper, which you can't prove right now because
- 10:04Speaker 1: no one saw it. You lended him those trousers knowingly,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and the law would state that even though they were
- 10:11Speaker 1: properly damaged, you can't prove anything beyond that, and you
- 10:14Speaker 1: can't prove anything else at all other than you knowingly
- 10:18Speaker 1: lent these trousers and you're responsible for the damages incurred
- 10:21Speaker 1: No money, valuable lesson. Fair enough. Judge Render. I loved it.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I loved it. He's great. Aside from the ads I
- 10:28Speaker 1: had to watch on prom.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Sure.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Everything else was great. Fair enough. Let's head over.
- 10:32Speaker 2: A couple weeks ago, I was introduced to Judge Dad,
- 10:35Speaker 2: who is a fellow who gives some fatherly advice.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Weird program. Yes, weird program.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I was surprised to find out, I guess I shouldn't
- 10:42Speaker 2: have been, that there is also a judge mom.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Of course.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Which promises some motherly advice, which I don't think we
- 10:49Speaker 2: really get in this program, but she is Judge Baum.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Could we have called this show Judge Sandy? Because that
- 10:54Speaker 2: is her name. Yes, but we don't.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm glad.
- 10:57Speaker 2: The whole let me talk to you like I'm your
- 10:58Speaker 2: father bit was disconcerting. I didn't love it. And so
- 11:03Speaker 2: here we go. These programs, I believe, are.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You know, you know about Nosy. Nope. Nosy. If you
- 11:12Speaker 1: do this every time, I'll get it. Nosy. Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Uh, is a fast channel that has a core cause
- 11:18Speaker 2: 24 court shows. Got it. And I think these are
- 11:20Speaker 2: exclusive to know their nosy originals. Maybe we should kind
- 11:24Speaker 2: of do nosy people get our court show up and running.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah. That's the one. Anyway. Okay. Huh? Yeah. Anyway, are
- 11:30Speaker 1: you ready? Yep.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Uh, Jonah Morris is suing Elliot Underwood for $ 25, 000 for
- 11:36Speaker 2: defamation of character, theft of intellectual property and more.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Are you ready? No. Okay.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Jonah Morris has been a pillar of the LARPing community
- 11:49Speaker 2: for over 20 years.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Man, an OG out there. He states that he is
- 11:52Speaker 1: suing his former friend, Mr.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Underwood, for the crimes of defamation, theft of intellectual property,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and if it's a crime, sabotage, because he is a
- 12:04Speaker 2: little sabotaging troll. Judge Mom is like, I'm going to
- 12:09Speaker 2: call it Judge Sandy.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Judge Sandy, you like that better? Judge Sandy is like, oh,
- 12:14Speaker 1: this is going to be a good one.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Elliot says, I owe him nothing. He's just mad that
- 12:19Speaker 2: I started my own group. Judge Sandy says, Jonah, tell
- 12:25Speaker 2: us about LARPing. He says, you know what it is, Dan,
- 12:28Speaker 2: but for the folks at home, fantasy creation, making a
- 12:32Speaker 2: fantasy come to life. We bring the tabletop role-playing game,
- 12:37Speaker 2: which is for nerds, and we bring it to life.
- 12:40Speaker 1: We're not nerds. We're not nerds. That's right.
- 12:42Speaker 2: That's right. He says that over the years, he has
- 12:45Speaker 2: built a group called the Lore Masters. Elliot pipes in
- 12:50Speaker 2: and says, we built the group. Jonas says, no, I did.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I did all the work.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Boy.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Elliot says that the issues began during the mythic gauntlet games.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Is this something they made up as well? This is a, no,
- 13:09Speaker 1: actually this is a competition. Real thing.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Okay. So the issue was he was too much of
- 13:15Speaker 2: a control freak and kept the leading them into failure.
- 13:20Speaker 2: He says that since we were kids, we started this
- 13:23Speaker 2: group when we were kids and we were both very
- 13:25Speaker 2: committed to LARPing, but he was a control freak. He
- 13:29Speaker 2: would always, he'd be the one that would tell us
- 13:31Speaker 2: how to dress. He would tell us how to behave.
- 13:34Speaker 2: He would tell us how to live our lives. It
- 13:36Speaker 2: drove us into failure. And at the Mythic Gauntlet Games,
- 13:40Speaker 2: I had enough. And Judge Sandy says, well, what happened
- 13:44Speaker 2: at the Mythic Gauntlet? So I think we're all wondering
- 13:46Speaker 2: the same thing. Jonah says it was the first time
- 13:49Speaker 2: that we actually went to go compete in a national competition.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It's a national competition. And it was up. If it
- 13:57Speaker 1: was up to Elliot, we would have never done that.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Elliot doesn't want to compete.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He just wants to control everything and control the outcome.
- 14:06Speaker 1: He sounds like an OG that does it for the
- 14:07Speaker 1: love of the game.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Elliot says we, uh, were doing great in the games
- 14:12Speaker 2: and we had a plan, but Jonah didn't want to
- 14:15Speaker 2: go along with the plan.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And insisted that we go in his direction.
- 14:19Speaker 2: The reality is he was too concerned with the glitz
- 14:23Speaker 2: and the glamor glitz and the glam. We were competitive,
- 14:27Speaker 2: but in the, but in the moment of truth, he
- 14:29Speaker 2: cared more about how he looked rather than delivering a result.
- 14:33Speaker 2: So I had enough. It was the last straw, and yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I left and started my own group. But why does
- 14:41Speaker 2: Jonah think that Elliot is now sabotaging Jonah is the
- 14:46Speaker 2: one who is.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Is suing for the 25K.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:48Speaker 1: And is still a part of the old group, okay? Yes.
- 14:51Speaker 2: He says that Elliot decided to take my intellectual properties,
- 14:57Speaker 2: my ideas, my.
- 14:58Speaker 1: The game that he claims he actually co... Yes. The
- 15:03Speaker 1: defendant claims that he co-invented. They co... Yes. They co-created
- 15:07Speaker 1: a group. Yeah. Okay? He leaves. Yes. And Jonah... Thinks
- 15:13Speaker 1: that he's taking.
- 15:14Speaker 2: The ideas that they worked on and he's doing his
- 15:18Speaker 2: own thing with it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So I guess the question here is, can like LARPing
- 15:24Speaker 2: fantasy plans, can that be IP?
- 15:28Speaker 1: That's the big question, right?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Well, Judge Maum says there's IP and LARPing, and he says, yes,
- 15:36Speaker 2: I think it should be respected by the court.
- 15:38Speaker 1: But it doesn't have to be documented? You just can't
- 15:40Speaker 1: make up IP? That's a great question, Dan. They don't
- 15:42Speaker 1: ever get to the point that they did anything official
- 15:44Speaker 1: with it? No, no, no, no.
- 15:46Speaker 2: So Judge Maum, oh, sorry. So he says, yes, I
- 15:49Speaker 2: think it should be respected by the court. He started
- 15:53Speaker 2: taking my moves.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Like fighting moves? Yes.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And she says, well, like what? And he says.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Oh, it's $ 25, 000? And he says, he took the Dragon's
- 16:05Speaker 2: Fury thrust.
- 16:06Speaker 1: God, whoa. Man, I didn't know it was Dragon's Fury thrust.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And then he explains what it is, and I brought
- 16:14Speaker 2: this clip. Because I couldn't do it justice. And I
- 16:18Speaker 2: hope that this audio comes through. Let's try real quick.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Maybe? No, it's not? Okay, I'll just do it the
- 16:25Speaker 1: old-fashioned way. How about that? All right.
- 16:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Are you ready? I'm ready. Okay, here it comes. I
- 16:34Speaker 1: was asking him to show me his moves. Oh my goodness.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So for those of you that are watching all access, brainwavegenplus.com,
- 17:03Speaker 2: you get to watch the show.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You thrust up. Yep. You thrust down. You thrust forward. Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 2: And so imagine, imagine two fellas just doing this to
- 17:18Speaker 2: each other. Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah. That's cool, man. Okay. That is so wild. So, clearly,
- 17:26Speaker 1: he's very passionate. He sounds a lot like Willy Wonka.
- 17:29Speaker 1: You lose!
- 17:30Speaker 2: Elliot says, I do my own thing. It's called the
- 17:34Speaker 2: Trickster's Tripwire. There is thrusting, but it's different. It's different.
- 17:41Speaker 2: They demonstrate their moves to the bailiff. I will say,
- 17:46Speaker 2: and so does the judge, these moves do look the same.
- 17:50Speaker 2: But she says, you can't copyright these moves. It's just thrusting.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Jonah says, well, after this, I see an ad for
- 18:00Speaker 2: a competing group that calls me out. It says, quote,
- 18:04Speaker 2: we see this ad. Come join a group without a
- 18:09Speaker 2: leader that's only in it for the fame and glory.
- 18:13Speaker 1: The fame and the glory. Do we have designated how
- 18:16Speaker 1: much of this 25K is defamation of character? Rather, it's no. Okay,
- 18:19Speaker 1: go ahead. This is Judge Mom. Judge Mom, baby. On nosy.
- 18:23Speaker 2: So then he says, and that ad clearly started working,
- 18:26Speaker 2: he started poaching my members. So he joins their message
- 18:31Speaker 2: board thing and sees that users are slandering his name.
- 18:37Speaker 2: calling him a cheat. She asks if Elliot, if it
- 18:43Speaker 2: was Elliot, Elliot, were you the one posting that? And
- 18:46Speaker 2: Elliot says, no, I wasn't the one posting that. I
- 18:48Speaker 2: can control what these people say.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But also, I brought a witness. Can I get a
- 18:53Speaker 1: witness up in here? His ex-girlfriend Tatiana. Tatiana.
- 18:58Speaker 2: She says Jonah's very difficult to work with. He's a
- 19:00Speaker 2: narcissistic person. He's a narcissistic person. And A little bit misogynistic.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I have evidence that shows that these comments about Jonah
- 19:11Speaker 2: are not from Elliot. Rather, they are from one of
- 19:15Speaker 2: Jonah's friends who he asked to post something bad so
- 19:21Speaker 2: that he could make it look like Elliot did it.
- 19:24Speaker 2: We see a text screenshot from a friend's phone that
- 19:27Speaker 2: is from Jonah that says, quote, Hey, man, I need
- 19:32Speaker 2: you to do something for me. Can you post some
- 19:35Speaker 2: messages on the forum talking trash about me? I want
- 19:39Speaker 2: it to seem like Elliot did it. Jonas says this
- 19:44Speaker 2: is out of context.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Oh, is it now?
- 19:47Speaker 2: That is about a personal health matter. that I don't
- 19:50Speaker 2: want to get into. Judge Sandy says a personal health
- 19:55Speaker 2: matter and he says yes and I'd like to keep
- 19:57Speaker 2: that private.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Personal mental health matter would be my guess.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Tatiana is only here to make my life more miserable
- 20:05Speaker 2: because she was cheating on me with Elliot the entire time.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And judge mom is ready to rule.
- 20:12Speaker 1: So there was no prayer of him getting 25 K
- 20:15Speaker 1: like none from the get-go intellectual intellectual property is only property.
- 20:19Speaker 1: If you have a right to it, I don't think
- 20:21Speaker 1: that exists in a world of no documentation in the
- 20:25Speaker 1: LARPing community. He pretty much can do what he wants
- 20:28Speaker 1: unless there's paperwork that suggests someone owns it. So you're
- 20:31Speaker 1: out defamation started to sound possible. If people were ruining
- 20:36Speaker 1: his good name in a public forum and, But with
- 20:40Speaker 1: that text, there is no world where he gets a cent.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And if he does, I'm never watching Judge Mom. You
- 20:46Speaker 1: stole fizzy lifting drinks. Fizzy lifting drinks. You lose. She says,
- 20:50Speaker 1: there is no defamation here. There is no theft of IP.
- 20:54Speaker 1: This is a hobby.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And to teach you a lesson, because you've wasted mine
- 20:59Speaker 2: and the court's time, I'm going to make you pay
- 21:03Speaker 2: the court cost, and I'm going to ban you from
- 21:06Speaker 2: the LARPing community for 90 days.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I don't know how you have the power to do that,
- 21:11Speaker 1: but he.
- 21:14Speaker 2: freaks out and begins sobbing and saying, no, don't take
- 21:19Speaker 2: this from me.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You know what?
- 21:20Speaker 2: I am 99% sure that these two fellows were actors,
- 21:24Speaker 2: and I had a great time with them.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They were great. This guy went all in on it,
- 21:29Speaker 1: and I had a blast. He committed. Would recommend watching
- 21:32Speaker 1: this episode of television.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Fantastic.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's a good time. We did it, everybody. Congratulations to us.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm going to say we do it again next week.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I think it's a great plan. So come on back
- 21:40Speaker 1: for that. Until then, all rise.
- 21:42Speaker 2: All rise.
