- 0:01SPEAKER_00: What's up?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: How do you feel about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on uh Killer Dave's bread?
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: It's funny, you know.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: I eat killer's day, Killer Dave's bread a lot.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: I like the ones that are thin sliced.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I'm with you.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I'm a thin sliced guy, bruh.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Just yeah, we got common.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: That's what we got in common right there.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: I wonder what first thing we got in common.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: I wonder what kick killer Dave's like.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I wonder if he's I don't think about killer Dave, but I like his bread.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: His bread's good.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I wonder if he's like still killer or is he like he's he wasn't even he was never killer, he was just a dude named Dave, and he had he had to come up with some marketing thing.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: He's like, how about if I pretend like I'm a I'm this hippie, hippie, you know, baker guy, and he is, you know, an accountant from you know Greenwich Village.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: You know, like I I just I wonder those things.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, Satchel, like is thatchel really the satchel that you that you that you think of?
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Is that really satchel or is it is it all marketing, you know?
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: It's not all marketing, but you know, 75%.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: 75%, yeah.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Because you're not 75% marketing.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, one of the careers I was looking to go into, I was like, maybe I should, I was like, maybe architecture?
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, it seems too hard.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And then I thought, how about graphic design?
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, branding.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Like, let me draw you a logo.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: That's the kind of stuff I like.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So just logoing, branding.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, this 16-year-old kid I know, I'm trying to help.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Go ahead.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: It's a good thing you're not in that business now because AI's taking all of those jobs.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Why would you pay somebody to design a logo when you can tell your phone, hey, design me 175 logos, kind of like this, so that I can pick the best one and go, oh, it's done.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Like, you know.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I think that's gonna lead to um You think what?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: So, well, I mean this sandwich, don't forget, I'm eating the sandwich, right?
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: But I think what it could happen is so I do a lot of hand drawing, and I I I one summer, one Christmas, a couple Christmas ago, I got like a pad, you know, and a little pen and a drawing program, and I was gonna learn to draw on the computer, and I couldn't do it.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I couldn't learn all the drop-downs.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: I was like too overwhelmed.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So I went back to the picture of the paper, and the other day, Silas gave me a pad, and he had a perfect little pad, and I drew a zero like an O, like the letter O, the inside and the outside, right?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: So I draw the inside circle, and I've got this wobbly little O.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And if you hold your pen on the paper for two seconds, it turns into a perfectly formed O.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And then you're like, oh, that's cool.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden I think that O's better than my O.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: But my O is all wobbly and original, and no one like it in the world, right?
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: This O's like every other O of anybody who makes an oval and holds the pencil down.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: So I think what it could lead to is just a much more aesthetic of like real hand-drawn stuff.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be an underworld, you know what I mean?
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: No, for sure.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Plus, I think I mean there already is.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Artists are gonna reject it.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: I I plus I think the kids are like sick of it already.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I think they're sick of it.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Well, I love a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: I don't have them enough.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: I eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches almost every day.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow, that's a lot.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: For lunch.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you can tell.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: If I had to carry my lunch with me every day, I would do that too.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: But uh but I um I get to eat out and I get to I get all kinds, I get leftovers.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: I have all kinds of ways to eat lunch.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: I like a peanut butter and jelly for dinner.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you can tell.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I like the light meals at dinner, like the oatmeal, the cereal, the PBJ.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: I like that like dinner meal that's kind of like sweet and light.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: You know what I used to like?
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I used to like spaghetti noodles and butter.
- 4:30unknown: And gum.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Then what happened?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And then what happened?
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Some parmesan cheese on top of that.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Like that was it.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: But then what happened?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: You say you used to.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: I I don't know.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm I married somebody who likes like gourmet food.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Different.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: That's like red.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: I used to like yet, you know.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: She doesn't need she doesn't want to pick up.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Chef Boyard D.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Chef Boyard motherfucking D makes a pizza in a box that I used to get when I was a kid, and I loved making that pizza box, Chef Boy D pizza box.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: I love their sweet sauce and their Parmesan, their mozzarella, the whole deal.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love that.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: People don't know.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you can tell, but I'm in my old car.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: And just sitting in it.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: It's loud.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: You're just sitting in it, like just like sitting in it looking like driving.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: I'm driving.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: You're driving?
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: I can't tell.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: So where are you going?
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying it's gonna be hard to hear.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: It's an action scene.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Where are you going?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: It's an action scene.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: I know, I'm eating a sandwich.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: You're what?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: I'm eating a sandwich.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: You're in a PB and J.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: That's a killer.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: It's an action, it's an action scene.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: I mean they're side by side, driving a car, eating a sandwich.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: We can't we can't we can't spend eight minutes of you continuing to to say that you're just eating a PB and J for eight minutes.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I think you can.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: I think you can.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: I think that's like those those one scenes where they never cut the scene and you keep going, it's fine.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: It's avant-garde.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: It's it's tour de force.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: We need some tips.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, what's your tip on PBJ?
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Do you put peanut butter on one side, one piece of bread, and then you put jelly on the other piece and then put them together?
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Do you do the peanut butter with the jelly on the same piece?
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Like, we need some tips.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: What's the ratio of peanut butter to jelly?
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: All of these things.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: I go a little heavy on the peanut butter.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: I like to warm the bread slightly in the bake section.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: So it's not toasted, but it's baked slightly and warm.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: I like to go a little heavy on the peanut butter side.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: The jelly side's opposite.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: I love I think I prefer grape jelly, but strawberry, raspberry work just fine.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: You know, my cut up a banana.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: I like to cut up a banana that's got about a medium amount of brown spots on it.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Cut it up as much as I can and slide it on that top between those two sides.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Put that together and eat it just like that with a glass of cold milk.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: I I prefer um orange marmalade.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: And I do I sometimes toast it for like a little tiny bit because I don't, you know, I'm I usually I'm eating at work.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: Um I prefer um creamy to crunchy a hundred percent.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: And I try I try to do like I go heavy on peanut butter and jelly.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: Um but I kind of don't want it to be too much.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: I I want I want there to be more jelly than peanut butter if there's anything that's more because I I I can't like it it it gets caught in my throat.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Like I can't you know it's a lot.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: So that's that's my that's what I say.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: That's what you say.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: That's what I say.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: All right, well, I've got some um like pecan pecan bars.
