- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven tenor filling in
- 0:05Speaker 1: for Mark, here's Ken Rosatto, so.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Nice to be with you. Happy Friday, oh man, a
- 0:12Speaker 2: beautiful day. It's going to be beautiful all weekend, sunshine
- 0:16Speaker 2: to humid highs in the mid eighties. Could you beg
- 0:18Speaker 2: for a better summer weekend? And of course it's the
- 0:21Speaker 2: end of July today, the last day of July. Actually,
- 0:24Speaker 2: today's the last day of a lot of things. I
- 0:27Speaker 2: found out about Mark Simone just when you did. And
- 0:31Speaker 2: by the way, in case anybody hasn't heard, let me ask,
- 0:33Speaker 2: is he our engineer?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Is he?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Did you know that starting Monday, Mark Simone is going
- 0:37Speaker 2: to be on from nine to noon for three hours.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Were you aware of that? He says, no, he didn't
- 0:42Speaker 2: hear about it before. This is the first he's hearing
- 0:44Speaker 2: of it. So if you are just hearing of it,
- 0:46Speaker 2: then yes, I'm letting you know. Our dear friend, Mark Simone,
- 0:50Speaker 2: my favorite talk show host on the planet. I listen
- 0:52Speaker 2: every single day from the home in New Jersey, will
- 0:57Speaker 2: be on nine to noon three hours starting on Monday,
- 1:01Speaker 2: not just two hours. And from what I understand, that
- 1:05Speaker 2: third hour will be at no additional charge to you.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So for whatever you're spending for the two hours of
- 1:10Speaker 2: Mark simone, you get a bonus third hour and it's
- 1:14Speaker 2: absolutely free courtesy of iHeartRadio. So there you go. I
- 1:18Speaker 2: will be listening. I love I love listening to Mark
- 1:20Speaker 2: every day, and I'm sure you do too. That's why
- 1:22Speaker 2: you're here. My name is Ken Rosatto. I was a
- 1:24Speaker 2: TV news anchor in New York City for decades. I
- 1:27Speaker 2: was on Channel seven for twenty years mornings and noon,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and I was on Channel five on Good Day New York.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Before that, I was on Channel fifty five. These days,
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'm on a channel called on New Jersey based in
- 1:40Speaker 2: New Jersey. You could stream at anywhere at ONNJ dot com.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So check it out sometime. We have a lot to
- 1:46Speaker 2: talk about today. The phone lines are open. Love to
- 1:49Speaker 2: hear you, so call us at eight hundred three two
- 1:52Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 1:57Speaker 2: seven ten. Well, Democrats up set at Elon Musk once again. Shocker.
- 2:04Speaker 2: They wouldn't be upset with him if he threw money
- 2:06Speaker 2: their way, but they're upset with him because he works
- 2:09Speaker 2: with the Republicans, although he still doesn't consider himself a
- 2:12Speaker 2: Republican or a Conservative. The world's wealthiest man announced that
- 2:17Speaker 2: he is going to one up the Democrats when it
- 2:21Speaker 2: comes to a ground game for the fall elections. Now,
- 2:25Speaker 2: the Democrats have always been masterful at getting younger people
- 2:29Speaker 2: and older people to volunteer, going house to house, knocking
- 2:33Speaker 2: on doors and talking face to face, pressing flesh, as
- 2:37Speaker 2: we like to call it, right, pressing flesh with people
- 2:39Speaker 2: shaking their hands. There's just something about meeting somebody face
- 2:44Speaker 2: to face, having an intimate conversation as opposed to putting
- 2:48Speaker 2: out a commercial commercial's work. They get the idea in
- 2:51Speaker 2: people's heads it's more for name recognition, but when it
- 2:55Speaker 2: comes to winning somebody over to actually do something as
- 2:58Speaker 2: personal as voting for you, anyone who is an elected
- 3:02Speaker 2: politician will tell you at least the first victory came
- 3:07Speaker 2: at the expense of going door to door, gumshoe knocking
- 3:11Speaker 2: on the doors, pressing flesh and talking to people. That
- 3:14Speaker 2: is essential. So Democrats are very big on that. Republicans
- 3:18Speaker 2: over the years have gotten kind of weak at it
- 3:20Speaker 2: until Trump. Since President Trump, that's when the Republicans started
- 3:25Speaker 2: coming out a little bit more. President Trump was big
- 3:28Speaker 2: on going into areas that Republicans stayed away from. Republicans
- 3:33Speaker 2: would often say, I'll never win the African American vote,
- 3:37Speaker 2: or I'll never win the Jewish vote, or I'll never
- 3:40Speaker 2: win whatever name the vote. And President Trump said, what
- 3:43Speaker 2: do we have to lose? Just go in and if
- 3:45Speaker 2: they bought me whatever they bought me, who cares. He's
- 3:48Speaker 2: got thick skin, obviously, I know Democrats think he's very
- 3:51Speaker 2: thin skinned. He is not. He is actually very thick skinned,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and that is essential for election to winning elections. So
- 4:01Speaker 2: back to the topic. Elon Musk said that he is
- 4:05Speaker 2: now going to spend a fortune his words, and remember
- 4:08Speaker 2: he's the wealthiest man on the planet. How many hundreds
- 4:10Speaker 2: of billions is he? Do you know? Was he two
- 4:12Speaker 2: hundred billion, two hundred three hundred million and something like that?
- 4:15Speaker 2: It's like right, like, oh a trillion, right something like
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's beyond the money that you could count if you
- 4:22Speaker 2: started counting now, you couldn't finish at the time of
- 4:26Speaker 2: your death. That's how much money Elon has. He loses
- 4:30Speaker 2: and wins more money per day in the markets than
- 4:34Speaker 2: you or I and half the city you live in
- 4:37Speaker 2: can see in a lifetime. That's how much money he has,
- 4:40Speaker 2: so it's almost a nebulous thing. It's a concept because
- 4:43Speaker 2: he'll never see that money. And if he wanted to
- 4:45Speaker 2: have it all in one hundred dollars bills right now,
- 4:48Speaker 2: they couldn't print enough. It's all electronic. But Elon says
- 4:51Speaker 2: he will spend a fortune to boost Republican voter turnout
- 4:56Speaker 2: and he's going to use his super pack America Pack,
- 5:00Speaker 2: which she used during the last Trump run, and that
- 5:04Speaker 2: pack spent over a quarter of a billion in fact
- 5:07Speaker 2: for Trump's reelection I think two hundred and sixty million
- 5:09Speaker 2: to be exact. So the plan is to spend money
- 5:12Speaker 2: on getting people to door knock, also on digital advertising,
- 5:16Speaker 2: so digital being of course, you know online with the
- 5:20Speaker 2: social media, and then direct mail aimed at turning out
- 5:24Speaker 2: the conservative base, say an older base, and then also
- 5:28Speaker 2: the super young that may not think that they're conservatives,
- 5:31Speaker 2: but they'd be surprised if they understood what conservatism was about.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I think younger people think conservative and they think, oh,
- 5:39Speaker 2: you're like religious busy bodies who tell us how to
- 5:41Speaker 2: live our lives. True conservatism is just the opposite, not
- 5:45Speaker 2: that it's anti religion. Most conservatives tend to be more
- 5:48Speaker 2: religious or spiritual anyway. But conservatism is about getting government
- 5:53Speaker 2: out of my business. If you want to be a transgender,
- 5:58Speaker 2: three breasted per person with two nose rings in five eyes, honestly,
- 6:04Speaker 2: go live your life. Just don't impose it on anybody else.
- 6:06Speaker 2: We just don' want to hear about anything. Whether it's
- 6:09Speaker 2: you're a heterosexual white person or it's transgender green person,
- 6:14Speaker 2: we don't care. Just do your thing. That's what conserve.
- 6:18Speaker 2: True conservatism. Libertarian leaning conservatism is about just don't go
- 6:24Speaker 2: after kids and don't do anything weird in society. Just
- 6:28Speaker 2: go live your life and we don't care. Enjoy yourself.
- 6:31Speaker 2: That's conservatism, all right, So elon. It wants those voters
- 6:37Speaker 2: who are typically less inclined to cast ballots in a
- 6:40Speaker 2: non presidential election year to come out. And that is
- 6:44Speaker 2: the goal here because you have a lot of people
- 6:46Speaker 2: in polls who say that yes they support Trump, but
- 6:49Speaker 2: remember Trump's not on the ballot, So you need to
- 6:53Speaker 2: get these people out. I've talked to one thousand people. Yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 2: I don't vote in those off he is, Yeah, I
- 6:58Speaker 2: don't vote for the Democrats, orto Republicans. When it comes
- 7:01Speaker 2: to like the Senate, the Congress, the mayor. I don't care.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I just vote for president. You're an idiot. Yeah, I
- 7:08Speaker 2: said it. You're an idiot because if you think just
- 7:12Speaker 2: the figurehead of president is all that matters, then you
- 7:15Speaker 2: don't understand our system. It is part of the system.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Do not cast away your vote for members of the House,
- 7:24Speaker 2: members of the Senate, governors, mayors. It's all part of
- 7:28Speaker 2: the system. And you do not get your point of
- 7:32Speaker 2: view across by just voting for the figurehead President Trump.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Without a House and a Senate will just be an
- 7:38Speaker 2: impeached President Trump. Once again, we don't want that. If
- 7:42Speaker 2: you want the agenda to move forward, if you like
- 7:46Speaker 2: the idea of controlling immigration so that legal immigration occurs
- 7:50Speaker 2: and illegal immigration ceases, you need to make sure that
- 7:55Speaker 2: you have a Congress that is controlled by Republicans, a
- 7:58Speaker 2: Senate that is controlled by Republicans, and then they will
- 8:01Speaker 2: in turn approve US Supreme Court justices that the President selects,
- 8:07Speaker 2: and you know they're going to be at least one
- 8:09Speaker 2: or two in the next couple of years. But if
- 8:12Speaker 2: President Trump doesn't have the Senate, he's not going to
- 8:14Speaker 2: get his justices through. They could do what was threatened
- 8:17Speaker 2: several years ago, and just wait until the Democratic president
- 8:20Speaker 2: comes in and then just let that person appoint somebody
- 8:24Speaker 2: to the Supreme Court. So we want a unified party,
- 8:28Speaker 2: if you will. The idea of the other thing that
- 8:30Speaker 2: always bothered me. I don't know about you. Always bothered
- 8:33Speaker 2: me when I used to hear people say, well, I
- 8:35Speaker 2: like to split my vote. I like to vote Republican
- 8:38Speaker 2: for president and Democrat for everything. Out doesn't work. Stop
- 8:42Speaker 2: being wishy washy. Vote for people who stand for what
- 8:45Speaker 2: you stand for. If you're not sure what they stand for,
- 8:49Speaker 2: research them, read about them, look it up, don't you say, nebulously,
- 8:55Speaker 2: the Democrats for the working people. Yeah, that was nineteen
- 8:58Speaker 2: twenty three. The case today. Democrats today, by their own
- 9:03Speaker 2: self acclamation and proclamation, are socialists. No, Ken, that's not true. Okay.
- 9:09Speaker 2: The eleven people you might find in the New York
- 9:11Speaker 2: tri state who call themselves Democrats who aren't socialists. That's
- 9:14Speaker 2: eleven people. The Democrat Party has been hijacked by the
- 9:18Speaker 2: Democratic Socialists the DSA, and that is where the agenda
- 9:22Speaker 2: will be set. It is not going to be set
- 9:24Speaker 2: with yes, we're the hard working middle class. Those are
- 9:28Speaker 2: Republicans today, But I can't vote Republican. Ken, My old
- 9:31Speaker 2: man and my grandpa, my great grandpa, they were Democrats.
- 9:34Speaker 2: They came over from Ireland or Italy or whatever. They
- 9:37Speaker 2: were always Democrats. We can't vote for Republicans, us against
- 9:41Speaker 2: our Well, then you're going to vote for you know,
- 9:44Speaker 2: six legged transgender whatever. And that's fine, that's what you want.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But just remember that it's because of your stubbornness and
- 9:53Speaker 2: your lack of ability to do a little reading and
- 9:56Speaker 2: research that that will be the case. And if that's
- 9:59Speaker 2: the case, and you know, then I'm okay with you
- 10:01Speaker 2: staying home and not voting. Eight hundred three to two
- 10:04Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two one
- 10:07Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Ken Rozatto win from Mark Simone an
- 10:10Speaker 2: historic day. Why is this day historic and not Monday? Well,
- 10:13Speaker 2: Monday is historic because that is the day that the
- 10:16Speaker 2: great Mark Simone, who anybody in the business will tell
- 10:20Speaker 2: you is the best talk show host who breathes air. Now,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm waiting for someone to call me and debate me
- 10:28Speaker 2: on that. I could give you one hundred reasons why
- 10:30Speaker 2: he is the best. And I'm not saying it just
- 10:33Speaker 2: because I'm sitting in on the Mark Simone Show. I
- 10:35Speaker 2: would say it to any program director at any radio
- 10:37Speaker 2: station in America. Everybody knows he is the best. He
- 10:41Speaker 2: will now be three hours a day starting Monday on
- 10:45Speaker 2: seven to ten wor so his show will be on
- 10:48Speaker 2: from nine am to noon. The Great Mark Simone. We
- 10:51Speaker 2: get an extra hour, and I am looking forward to it.
- 10:53Speaker 2: But today is historic. I'd like to pat myself on
- 10:56Speaker 2: the back and say it because I get to host
- 10:58Speaker 2: the last two hour Mark Simone show in history. So
- 11:03Speaker 2: I consider that a very big honor. Thank you very much. Mark.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Right now, I was thinking to himself, I would love
- 11:09Speaker 2: to be two hours, and I'd have to work the
- 11:10Speaker 2: extra hour. I know, I know, I know, Sorry Mark
- 11:12Speaker 2: that you have to work an extra hour, but it's
- 11:14Speaker 2: your own fault for being so damn talented that we
- 11:17Speaker 2: all love to listen to you. So suck it up, Buttercup,
- 11:20Speaker 2: we love you, Mark Simona, we want the extra hour.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Tough luck, Buddy, seven ten wor the Voice of New
- 11:26Speaker 2: York again. It's Ken Rosatto in And have you been
- 11:29Speaker 2: seeing what's going on in Spain? Spain had to deploy
- 11:34Speaker 2: its military to Seyuta, which is an enclave. Now, what's
- 11:37Speaker 2: an enclave. A lot of European countries when they sort
- 11:41Speaker 2: of delineated their lines and their borders, you had little
- 11:45Speaker 2: clicks of people who lived twenty miles over the border
- 11:48Speaker 2: in this direction and thirty miles over the border in
- 11:50Speaker 2: that direction. And so they created all these little tiny
- 11:55Speaker 2: jets of okay, let the land stick out thirty miles
- 11:58Speaker 2: in that direction to encompass that city. And so that's
- 12:01Speaker 2: why if you look at the borders, there are all
- 12:02Speaker 2: these weird borders. Do you know the border between Italy
- 12:06Speaker 2: and is it France or Austria? Now I'm going to
- 12:10Speaker 2: get confused. I think it's Austria. There is a town
- 12:15Speaker 2: called Ventimilia. Now, anyone who knows Italian, and I know
- 12:19Speaker 2: Vincent is out there, and Vincent's like cad. I know Italian.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Ventimilia translates as twenty miles. It is called Ventimilia because
- 12:28Speaker 2: it used to be twenty miles from the border. But
- 12:31Speaker 2: Ventimilia is now the border town. Why did that happen?
- 12:36Speaker 2: After World War Two? As punishment for Italy having Mussolini.
- 12:40Speaker 2: The punishment was they lost twenty miles of their border.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So the city that used to be called Ventimilia because
- 12:46Speaker 2: it was twenty miles away from the border with I
- 12:49Speaker 2: guess Austria and France. Now is the border town, but
- 12:54Speaker 2: it's called Ventimilia. Little things like that that fascinate me. Well,
- 12:58Speaker 2: there is an enclaven enclave, meaning it is a standalone
- 13:02Speaker 2: chunk of land that is surrounded entirely by another country,
- 13:06Speaker 2: in this case North Africa, surrounded by Morocco. But this
- 13:11Speaker 2: enclave is the nation of Spain. Seyuta, Ceuta. It is
- 13:17Speaker 2: eighty thousand people strong, or was eighty thousand people strong,
- 13:21Speaker 2: and it's been sitting there, surrounded by Morocco for decades
- 13:26Speaker 2: and decades, for centuries. Seyuta yesterday tens or actually they're
- 13:31Speaker 2: saying now three to four thousand. Yesterday was thought it
- 13:34Speaker 2: was over ten thousand. People invaded the country from Morocco.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Why because the Supreme Court in Spain made the comment
- 13:42Speaker 2: that if illegals come streaming across by the sea, that
- 13:46Speaker 2: they would be allowed to stay until they could be
- 13:48Speaker 2: figured out in court, much like the liberal judges in
- 13:52Speaker 2: all the districts of the United States during the Biden administration,
- 13:55Speaker 2: the same woke liberal leftist mentality. Meanwhile, if you snuck
- 13:59Speaker 2: into Moroco, you'd be put in jail. You snuck into
- 14:02Speaker 2: other countries, you'd be thrown in jail. Do you know
- 14:05Speaker 2: that if you sneak into Mexico you could be thrown
- 14:07Speaker 2: in jail. Isn't that funny? But when Mexicans or any
- 14:10Speaker 2: I don't mean to single out Mexicans, when anyone else
- 14:13Speaker 2: comes in from the southern border, northern border, it's okay,
- 14:16Speaker 2: that's right, we'll figure it out. Well, not anymore, not
- 14:18Speaker 2: under this president. And we have a sovereign nation for
- 14:22Speaker 2: a reason. You're welcome to come if you do so legally,
- 14:25Speaker 2: go through the process, and you are welcome here. Break
- 14:28Speaker 2: in our back door, and we say get lost. Seven
- 14:31Speaker 2: ten WR The Voice of New York. What do you
- 14:34Speaker 2: have to say about it? Eight hundred and three to
- 14:35Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Well, coming up, we're gonna
- 14:39Speaker 2: speak with Mike Kelly, who is a columnist for the
- 14:41Speaker 2: Record and USA Today is on North Jersey dot com.
- 14:44Speaker 2: He'll be talking about Mikey Cheryl's decision, that's the governor
- 14:48Speaker 2: of New Jersey not to share info with the FEDS
- 14:51Speaker 2: regarding the sixty six hundred illegals who registered to vote
- 14:54Speaker 2: in the Garden state and the response from the computer
- 14:58Speaker 2: company that insists it was isn't a computer glitch that
- 15:01Speaker 2: resulted in those illegals registering at the New Jersey MVC,
- 15:05Speaker 2: which is their DMV. So who or what was behind
- 15:09Speaker 2: it then? And why? How did the program simply accidentally
- 15:13Speaker 2: allow this to happen? Hmmm? Or was it not so accidental?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Was it somebody intentionally doing this? Methinks I me smells
- 15:22Speaker 2: a rat. But your calls are coming up next eight
- 15:24Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. It is
- 15:27Speaker 2: ten twenty one seven ten wo r Ken brazata Win.
- 15:31Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
- 15:32Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten wr
- 15:36Speaker 1: Ken from Mark Today.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Here's Ken Rosatto had a very happy little Friday to you.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Let's go straight to our busy phones eight hundred three
- 15:44Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten And there he is Vincent
- 15:46Speaker 2: in Brooklyn. You heard me say your name, Vincent?
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yeah, good morning, kenangut a shout out Ken. The other
- 15:53Speaker 4: day online I saw last night, in fact, speaking about
- 15:57Speaker 4: all these migrants flooding kyout to Spain. George Soros son
- 16:05Speaker 4: Alex Soros went over there and corrupted the president, who
- 16:09Speaker 4: is a socialist. And there's actually a photo of them
- 16:12Speaker 4: online and in the background and you see, uh, you know,
- 16:16Speaker 4: ten thousand migrants flooding this town. I feel sorry for
- 16:21Speaker 4: the Spanish people. They're already at their wits end because
- 16:26Speaker 4: a lot of these people they recking their economy. They're
- 16:30Speaker 4: taking use it up, their social services and everything else.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Lamp producers in Sicily, it's the same thing. The island
- 16:40Speaker 2: over run. Yeah. In fact, you know, you know that
- 16:42Speaker 2: the in Seuta that half the population is eighty thousand people.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Half the population are Moroccan Muslim Spaniards, and they want
- 16:51Speaker 2: the people out. So it's not a Christian slash Spanish thing,
- 16:55Speaker 2: and you don't belong there. In Morocco. Half those people
- 16:57Speaker 2: are originally Moroccan, and yet they want they choose to
- 17:00Speaker 2: be Spaniards. And these people who overram this city, now
- 17:04Speaker 2: they've over runned the city. The locals say, get out.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Sure, because there's Spaniards, Moroccans. They have the rights of
- 17:12Speaker 4: the European Union. They could freely move about the European Union,
- 17:17Speaker 4: go work in other areas in Europe. And they don't
- 17:21Speaker 4: want those rights take it away from them, and they
- 17:24Speaker 4: don't want to live like the people in Morocco, a
- 17:29Speaker 4: living that's because they're down and out over there in
- 17:31Speaker 4: those northern Arab countries they're not doing well.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Right, I mean, the only parts of Morocco that are
- 17:38Speaker 2: doing well, or along the northern coast, they do a
- 17:40Speaker 2: little bit better than the rest of Morocco because people
- 17:43Speaker 2: visiting southern Spain go in for a day trip and
- 17:46Speaker 2: then leave. They go in and they enjoy a restaurant
- 17:49Speaker 2: or a quick museum, and then they're gone and that's it.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So those areas make a little bit of money. But
- 17:53Speaker 2: the people inland in Morocco, they're starving. A lot of
- 17:56Speaker 2: them is just a destitute, poverty, and so they saw
- 18:00Speaker 2: that opportunity once they heard the Spanish Supreme Court judges say, well,
- 18:04Speaker 2: if you come in by sea, it's sort of like
- 18:06Speaker 2: the wetfoot drive foot policy we used to have here,
- 18:08Speaker 2: you come in by sea, we're gonna put you through
- 18:11Speaker 2: like a ten year process before we can kick you out.
- 18:13Speaker 2: What where where do you get this concept in the world?
- 18:17Speaker 4: Do they do this? Ken? A number of years ago,
- 18:19Speaker 4: about fifteen years ago, some friends of mine, they were
- 18:23Speaker 4: in Naples. They went and they had a short down
- 18:27Speaker 4: and actually they saw the boats with these migrants coming
- 18:34Speaker 4: ashore they come ashore and these rickety boats that can
- 18:37Speaker 4: barely make the passage. And then they just left the
- 18:40Speaker 4: boats on the shore and they saw them just dispersed
- 18:43Speaker 4: across the beach into the general population. And the same
- 18:47Speaker 4: thing with lamp producer. In the morning, the migrants come
- 18:52Speaker 4: during the night. In the morning they found they find
- 18:55Speaker 4: all these abandoned rickety boats on the shore. It's terrible
- 19:00Speaker 4: what it's doing to the economy over over there.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I think President.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Trump should just close down any military basis we have
- 19:10Speaker 4: in Spain. He's doing the right thing. Any country that
- 19:13Speaker 4: refused US fly over rights or the rights to uh
- 19:18Speaker 4: dock our ships at any of their ports, they should
- 19:22Speaker 4: do like they did that in Italy. One time, in
- 19:24Speaker 4: Porto and perdeclass there was a submarine port, and when
- 19:29Speaker 4: they closed that port. In the United States, the town
- 19:32Speaker 4: practically went broke because so much of the economy was
- 19:36Speaker 4: linked to servicing the sailors and refueling and bringing food
- 19:42Speaker 4: to the to the submarine.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You don't want us here, we could leave. We'll take
- 19:46Speaker 2: American dollars with.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Us, exactly.
- 19:49Speaker 2: We're over the bottom of the arrows. Well, that's the key,
- 19:53Speaker 2: my friend. You have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the beautiful
- 19:56Speaker 2: weather this weekend down the shore.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I have a wonderful week and enjoy the weather.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Thank you, always a pleasure. Thank you. And Christine. We
- 20:04Speaker 2: got about a minute left. Good morning, Christine. You got
- 20:08Speaker 2: to lower the radio. Listen to the phone, don't listen
- 20:10Speaker 2: to the radio behind you. All right, we got to
- 20:12Speaker 2: go to the next one. Let's go to Joe and
- 20:14Speaker 2: Elmwood Park. Good morning, Joe, Good morning, you're on the air.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Okay, Ken, Good morning.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Ken, thank you. Go ahead, Joe, you're off. You got
- 20:25Speaker 2: by thirty seconds left.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Okay. Why isn't kimy Relly contesting that the what's his name?
- 20:34Speaker 3: Stolen last time from him? Now we're going to have
- 20:36Speaker 3: eight years of this and it's more than sixty six.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It's like thirty six thousand illegals voted. Don't believe sixty
- 20:44Speaker 3: six thousand.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Well, and you're not. You're probably not wrong there, Joe.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I mean the numbers you're probably higher, but we'll never know,
- 20:51Speaker 2: and you can't prove it. That's the problem. And right now,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I mean, the federal government says there are probably thirty
- 20:57Speaker 2: nine thousand illegals who have registered to vote in New Jersey.
- 21:01Speaker 2: The New Jersey Republicans are saying, it's probably closer to
- 21:06Speaker 2: eighty thousand. Where did they get that statistic. They get
- 21:09Speaker 2: it because people who have been summoned for jury duty.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They are summoned off of a list of people registered
- 21:16Speaker 2: to vote, and about eighty thousand have responded they can't
- 21:20Speaker 2: come and beyond jury duty. Why because they're illegal migrants.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That's actually how they responded, according to the Republicans in
- 21:28Speaker 2: the state of New Jersey. So the Republicans are saying, Mikey,
- 21:31Speaker 2: why don't you give up those lists and let everybody
- 21:33Speaker 2: see that? Because the Republicans were privy to that. So
- 21:36Speaker 2: Mikey Cheryl, who, by the way, I call her the
- 21:39Speaker 2: fraud because she refuses her people are woses. They don't.
- 21:44Speaker 2: They control everything she says and everywhere she goes. She'll
- 21:48Speaker 2: go on MS now, but she won't go on any
- 21:50Speaker 2: medium that is friendly to Republicans or down the middle. Here,
- 21:54Speaker 2: I'm a seven time Emmy Award winner, thirty five to
- 21:57Speaker 2: forty year veteran of New York City Television Network Television.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I'm a journalist through and through. They refuse to do
- 22:04Speaker 2: an interview with me. Hey, I'll be nice, I'll be
- 22:08Speaker 2: respectful to the governor, tell her to put on her
- 22:10Speaker 2: big girl pants and face a real journalist, never mind
- 22:13Speaker 2: the sick offense will kiss her backside and then ants
- 22:17Speaker 2: ask only the questions you provide old people from the
- 22:20Speaker 2: Cheryl camp. Let's see what happens. It is now ten
- 22:23Speaker 2: thirty four seven ten WR Coming up, we'll speak with
- 22:26Speaker 2: Mike Kelly, columnists for the Record in USA, today about
- 22:30Speaker 2: Governor Mikey Cheryl's decision not to share info with the
- 22:33Speaker 2: FEDS regarding those sixty six hundred illegals that we know
- 22:36Speaker 2: of that registered to vote in the Garden State. So
- 22:39Speaker 2: who or what is behind all this?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Now more of the Marximone Show on seven ten woor
- 22:46Speaker 1: colling in for Mark.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Here again is Ken Rosado. Is so good to be
- 22:50Speaker 2: with you on a beautiful Friday, New Jersey. Governor Mikey
- 22:53Speaker 2: Cheryl told the FEDS recently, of course, she would not
- 22:56Speaker 2: share information regarding those sixty six hundred illegal mia grints
- 23:00Speaker 2: that she already admitted registered to vote in the Garden State,
- 23:03Speaker 2: and four hundred of them actually voted. Mike Kelly is
- 23:07Speaker 2: a columnist for the Record in USA Today's with North
- 23:10Speaker 2: Jersey dot Com. He's here to talk about it. Good morning, Mike,
- 23:13Speaker 2: Good morning Ken.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Welcome, welcome, Welcome to New Jersey.
- 23:17Speaker 2: As they say, Yeah, well, I'm a Jersey boy. I
- 23:19Speaker 2: saw I live. I live in the middle part of
- 23:21Speaker 2: the state. I live in the part of New Jersey
- 23:23Speaker 2: that doesn't exist Central New Jersey. Uh, one of those
- 23:27Speaker 2: debaters station down there. Yet, that's it. We just get
- 23:31Speaker 2: a little in New York and a little of Philly.
- 23:33Speaker 2: So Governor Cheryl said that she would not share information
- 23:36Speaker 2: about the illegal migrants who registered to vote with the
- 23:38Speaker 2: FEDS because she said she needs to protect the private
- 23:41Speaker 2: information of New Jersey's citizens. Only they're not citizens. So
- 23:45Speaker 2: what is she talking about and is what do you
- 23:48Speaker 2: think she is so adamant about not sharing that information.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Well, remember when Jason Brunson, what you know, with the Knicks,
- 23:56Speaker 5: was faking out other defenders. Well, think of this as
- 23:59Speaker 5: the ultimate fake out. She's just trying to go you know,
- 24:02Speaker 5: she's trying to fake her way through this. I think,
- 24:05Speaker 5: I mean, Cheryl's is in a difficult position. She wants
- 24:08Speaker 5: to sound like she's being transparent and coming clean with everything,
- 24:12Speaker 5: but on the other hand, she doesn't want to come
- 24:15Speaker 5: clean with everything. And why that's the case. I think
- 24:20Speaker 5: it has a lot to do with the fact that
- 24:21Speaker 5: she's afraid that the Trump administration and Republicans in general
- 24:26Speaker 5: will just, you know, have an opening to a basically
- 24:30Speaker 5: a long standing concern that elections in this country are
- 24:35Speaker 5: just simply not monitored very well.
- 24:38Speaker 2: But doesn't that already happen? I mean the fact that
- 24:41Speaker 2: she acknowledged what the Republicans have been saying all along,
- 24:44Speaker 2: that there are thousands of people who have been registered
- 24:48Speaker 2: to vote who shouldn't have have been registered, and on
- 24:51Speaker 2: top of that, hundreds who actually voted that we know of.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Doesn't that already open up the floodgates?
- 24:58Speaker 6: Yes?
- 24:58Speaker 5: And no? I mean I what we really need here, Ken,
- 25:02Speaker 5: I believe, and I think this would be good for
- 25:04Speaker 5: the whole country. We really need an independent examination what
- 25:09Speaker 5: happened here. And it begins long before the whole question
- 25:13Speaker 5: of voting came up. This begins with how New Jersey,
- 25:19Speaker 5: and to some degree the whole country handles undocumented or
- 25:24Speaker 5: illegal immigration. And a number of years ago, Governor Murphy,
- 25:28Speaker 5: who was a governor Cheryl's predecessor, decided to give drivers'
- 25:34Speaker 5: licenses to undocumented illegal migrants here in New Jersey. Why
- 25:39Speaker 5: he decided to do that is a complicated issue. I
- 25:42Speaker 5: thought it was ridiculous at the time. And what happened
- 25:47Speaker 5: as the result of that is that there is a
- 25:49Speaker 5: policy in New Jersey that if you get a driver's
- 25:52Speaker 5: license in New Jersey, they automatically register you to vote,
- 25:55Speaker 5: which is, in my opinion, another problem. I think if
- 25:58Speaker 5: you're going to register to vote, it ought to be
- 25:59Speaker 5: separate from whether or not you apply for a driver's
- 26:02Speaker 5: license or not. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, The
- 26:05Speaker 5: point here is that when these undocumented immigrants sign up
- 26:09Speaker 5: for driver's licenses, the computer immediately automatically registered many of
- 26:15Speaker 5: them to vote, and so begins this current controversy. And then,
- 26:19Speaker 5: as you correctly point out, about four hundred of these
- 26:21Speaker 5: people actually cast ballot somewhere in the state. We don't
- 26:24Speaker 5: know where. We don't know whether it influenced an election
- 26:28Speaker 5: somewhere or not. You know, a lot of these small
- 26:30Speaker 5: town elections come down to ten, fifteen, twenty votes, and
- 26:35Speaker 5: you know, I could see, you know, if a group
- 26:37Speaker 5: of migrants were voting in some small town somewhere, it
- 26:40Speaker 5: could influence you know, a council vote, would it affect
- 26:44Speaker 5: one of the statewide you know, elections like senator, US
- 26:48Speaker 5: senator or governor. I don't think so, But I think
- 26:52Speaker 5: we need to look at the symbolism here, which is
- 26:54Speaker 5: the fact that our elections are just not monitoring very well.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and Mike, just the idea that if one vote
- 27:01Speaker 2: is canceled out by somebody who should not be voting,
- 27:04Speaker 2: that is your right as a United States citizen to
- 27:08Speaker 2: cast that ballot. And if somebody else cancels out that
- 27:11Speaker 2: vote who shouldn't be. I mean, that's like theft, you know,
- 27:16Speaker 2: that takes away all your rights. So that's why I
- 27:19Speaker 2: don't know about how you feel about it, but I
- 27:21Speaker 2: feel that if there is one illegally cast vote, it's
- 27:24Speaker 2: the equivalent to a million because it could negate my vote.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I have been silenced by that illegal vote being cast,
- 27:33Speaker 2: and I wouldn't go to another country and cast a
- 27:35Speaker 2: vote where I shouldn't. And that's why I feel, so,
- 27:38Speaker 2: I don't know, personally violated by something like this happening,
- 27:41Speaker 2: and the idea that, oh, go ahead.
- 27:43Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Mike, No, that's a very very good point, ken,
- 27:46Speaker 5: you know it. You know, when someone who votes who
- 27:49Speaker 5: shouldn't be voting, votes, then that cancels out a legitimate vote,
- 27:54Speaker 5: a legitimate vote somewhere. And I think that kind of damage.
- 27:59Speaker 5: You know, you can't really quantify it, except the fact
- 28:01Speaker 5: that when you put it that way, it is an
- 28:04Speaker 5: emotional insult to you know, what we believe in here
- 28:07Speaker 5: in the United States. You know, look at listen. I
- 28:09Speaker 5: say all this. I am not in favor of. I mean,
- 28:13Speaker 5: I'm hardly a supporter of Donald Trump and some of
- 28:15Speaker 5: the some of the nonsense what I consider to be
- 28:18Speaker 5: nonsense that comes out of Washington these days. However, I
- 28:21Speaker 5: believe that the issue I think that Democrats really have
- 28:25Speaker 5: it wrong in their opposition to what I think are
- 28:28Speaker 5: legitimate concerns raised by Republicans about about the legitimacy of
- 28:33Speaker 5: voting in this country. And this has been a long
- 28:36Speaker 5: standing issue that really, I mean dates back to, you know, uh,
- 28:41Speaker 5: to some degree, the election of John F. Kennedy over
- 28:44Speaker 5: Richard Dixon and whether or not you know, illegal votes
- 28:46Speaker 5: were cast in the city of Chicago at the time,
- 28:49Speaker 5: or even in Jersey City for that matter, Uh, you know,
- 28:53Speaker 5: and and and it's been a back and forth argument
- 28:56Speaker 5: for a very long time in this country, and I
- 28:59Speaker 5: think at the very least we should be required to
- 29:05Speaker 5: present some sort of identification when we show up at
- 29:09Speaker 5: a polling place to vote here in New Jersey. Though,
- 29:11Speaker 5: as you probably know, ken you walk in, you just
- 29:14Speaker 5: give them your name. You don't have to show them
- 29:16Speaker 5: your driver's license or anything. You know, so right there,
- 29:21Speaker 5: it opens the door to fraud. And heck, I just
- 29:25Speaker 5: bought an iPhone last week, I had to show my
- 29:27Speaker 5: driver's license. I checked into a hotel, I had to
- 29:29Speaker 5: show my driver's license. You know, just about everything we do,
- 29:32Speaker 5: we have to show some form of identities identification somewhere,
- 29:35Speaker 5: but we don't have to do that on the most
- 29:37Speaker 5: basic of American rights, which is you know, voting.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Well, do you remember the story a few years back
- 29:42Speaker 2: when Eric Holder, a former Attorney general, showed up to
- 29:46Speaker 2: vote and somebody said you already voted, sir, and he said, no,
- 29:48Speaker 2: I didn't, and apparently somebody walked in. Whether it was
- 29:51Speaker 2: accidental or not, or whether that person had the same name,
- 29:54Speaker 2: which is very possible Eric Holder, they gave the card,
- 29:57Speaker 2: the voting card for Eric Holder, to the other individual,
- 30:00Speaker 2: and so they had to have the Attorney General of
- 30:02Speaker 2: the United States cast a provisionary provisional ballot because according
- 30:06Speaker 2: to the records, he had already voted when he didn't.
- 30:08Speaker 2: So if it could happen to the Attorney General of
- 30:10Speaker 2: the United States, why couldn't it happen to anyone? And
- 30:14Speaker 2: it just again comes down to fairness, and when it
- 30:18Speaker 2: can be resolved by identification, it makes you scratch your head,
- 30:22Speaker 2: especially when Democrats for decades or against the idea of
- 30:27Speaker 2: anyone not here legally voting, and they were four identification
- 30:32Speaker 2: required at voting time, and now suddenly because Orange man
- 30:35Speaker 2: bad is for it, there against it.
- 30:38Speaker 5: I know this is it's really it really says something
- 30:42Speaker 5: about where our country's at right now that we can't
- 30:45Speaker 5: even agree on how we've vote, which is crazy when
- 30:49Speaker 5: you think about it. And getting back to what I
- 30:52Speaker 5: think the really fundamental and excellent point you made a
- 30:55Speaker 5: few minutes ago, Ken, which is when someone votes illegally
- 31:00Speaker 5: cancels out somebody else's vote. And right there with the
- 31:03Speaker 5: example of Eric Holder, you see clear evidence of what happened.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Somebody obviously showed up and managed to use Eric Holder's name.
- 31:12Speaker 5: What were they doing it by mistake? Was it a
- 31:15Speaker 5: you know, some sort of practical joke. We don't know.
- 31:18Speaker 5: But the fact of the matter is if the Attorney
- 31:21Speaker 5: General of the United States showed up to vote, he
- 31:24Speaker 5: was blocked from voting and had to cast a provisional ballot.
- 31:28Speaker 5: That's ridiculous when you really think about it. And you know, look,
- 31:33Speaker 5: do I think we are going to have presidential elections
- 31:37Speaker 5: affected by this kind of thing? The answer is probably not.
- 31:42Speaker 5: But I think the question you raised, which is there
- 31:46Speaker 5: is a fundamental insult here when this kind of thing happens,
- 31:52Speaker 5: that really erodes our confidence in America, and I think
- 31:55Speaker 5: we need to clean it up.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Quick pivot, Mic, because we really have forty five seconds left.
- 31:59Speaker 2: You have a book called After Ground Zero, Everyday Americans
- 32:02Speaker 2: of the Unhealed Scars of nine to eleven tell us
- 32:06Speaker 2: about that.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Well, it's really a labor of love, Ken, and I'm
- 32:11Speaker 5: so glad you mentioned it. Yes, it's coming out in August,
- 32:14Speaker 5: just in time for the twenty fifth anniversary of nine
- 32:16Speaker 5: to eleven. And I basically trace the lives of about
- 32:20Speaker 5: twenty five people over the past twenty five years who
- 32:23Speaker 5: have all been affected in one way or another by
- 32:25Speaker 5: nine to eleven. Some of them have health problems. Some
- 32:28Speaker 5: of them have campaigned to try to find the true
- 32:31Speaker 5: culprits or some of the additional culprits behind this, which
- 32:34Speaker 5: includes some Saudi Arabian officials. And of course there is
- 32:39Speaker 5: the long going hell and serious health problems for firefighters
- 32:43Speaker 5: and police officers and other first responders that they're still
- 32:46Speaker 5: suffering from.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Mike Kelly, You're a labor of love. Yeah, USA Today
- 32:51Speaker 2: and the Record columnists, thank you so much for coming
- 32:54Speaker 2: on this morning. Going to get that book and have
- 32:56Speaker 2: a great day.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Ken, thanks so much. You take care of yoursel Okay.
- 33:00Speaker 2: You as well. Thank you so much. Man. I appreciate
- 33:02Speaker 2: your time. And it's going to be a beautiful Sunday
- 33:05Speaker 2: day to day. Highs in the mid eighties. Taking your calls.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Live from the WR Life Back Studios, Bill Mark zimone
- 33:15Speaker 1: show guest hosting from Mark Today.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Ken Rosado, good to be with you on a beautiful Friday.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Let's go straight to our busy phones. George in my
- 33:25Speaker 2: hometown of New Rochelle, New York. Good morning to George.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Oh hi Ken, Hi, you know I'm born and raised
- 33:33Speaker 2: down Webster Avenue right there in middle of the Rochelle right.
- 33:38Speaker 7: And you know what, I own a college stands for
- 33:41Speaker 7: idiots on North Damp. But I'm calling you. I love you,
- 33:45Speaker 7: that ken.
- 33:46Speaker 8: You are tremendous.
- 33:47Speaker 7: I'm rid getting a lot of airtime, and I'm speaking
- 33:50Speaker 7: for the audience. Let's remember, folks, that China sent that
- 33:54Speaker 7: COVID virus to America. Let's remember that. And also the
- 33:58Speaker 7: senator with the birds nest on his head, mister ran Paul.
- 34:02Speaker 7: He never called the stopping the Chinese airlines from coming
- 34:07Speaker 7: into America, never once, And when there were restrictions put
- 34:10Speaker 7: on him, he complained about the restrictions. See, if they
- 34:14Speaker 7: just go after Bauci, we will never get to the
- 34:16Speaker 7: end of this.
- 34:17Speaker 9: You know.
- 34:17Speaker 7: I called talk radio during the height of it, and
- 34:19Speaker 7: I said they were going after Como with the nursing home.
- 34:22Speaker 7: But I set up there. I said, there's four or
- 34:24Speaker 7: five other governors. Who was sending them in the COVID
- 34:28Speaker 7: patients is at a nursing homes, I said, Governor MURPHYW.
- 34:31Speaker 9: Jersey.
- 34:31Speaker 7: They hung up bombing.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what, we got to hang up
- 34:36Speaker 2: on you now too, only because it's news time here.
- 34:38Speaker 2: But I'm glad I just sat back and let you talk.
- 34:40Speaker 2: See we give you the airtime because we do that
- 34:42Speaker 2: at seven ten war. Thank you so much, George. We
- 34:44Speaker 2: appreciate the phone call. Coming up on eleven o'clock right now.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Lots of sunshine today. Hi's mid eighties and you are
- 34:50Speaker 2: listening to seven ten WR the Mark Simone Show, Ken
- 34:53Speaker 2: brazzatda win from Mark. We're coming back right after the.
- 34:55Speaker 1: News now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten. Filling
- 35:01Speaker 1: in for Mark, here's Ken Rosatto.
- 35:04Speaker 2: It's a nice to be with you on such a
- 35:05Speaker 2: beautiful Saturday. Not a bad weekend. Did I see Saturday?
- 35:08Speaker 2: I did. Let's start again take two, pretend that never
- 35:11Speaker 2: went on the air. Good to be with you on
- 35:13Speaker 2: a beautiful Friday. But yes, Saturday is going to beautiful too,
- 35:16Speaker 2: And except for some parts of Jersey, I think Sunday
- 35:19Speaker 2: it looks like pretty nice weather for so it is
- 35:22Speaker 2: good to be with you. I guess I'm in a
- 35:23Speaker 2: weekend mindset right now. Ken Rosato in for the wonderful
- 35:29Speaker 2: Mark Simone on what is also an historic day? Why
- 35:32Speaker 2: is it historic? Or at least in my mind it's historic.
- 35:35Speaker 2: This is the last two hour Mark Simone Show in history.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Why do you ask, why go ahead? Why can It's
- 35:44Speaker 2: because on Monday, the Great Mark Simone begins at nine am.
- 35:48Speaker 2: As you just said, Daria Albinger say, it is going
- 35:51Speaker 2: to be nine to noon Monday through Friday. You get
- 35:53Speaker 2: to hear the Great Mark Simone. So it's an extra hour.
- 35:56Speaker 2: And here I checked with the executives at iHeartRadio. I asked,
- 35:59Speaker 2: how much more will people have to pay for the
- 36:02Speaker 2: extra hour of the Mark Simone Show, And they said,
- 36:05Speaker 2: we'll get back to you, Ken, and I waited and
- 36:07Speaker 2: it was on hold, listening to Don on hold, and
- 36:11Speaker 2: then they got back. I said, nothing, it's free. iHeartRadio
- 36:14Speaker 2: is giving as a gift to all the listeners an
- 36:16Speaker 2: extra wonderful hour of the Mark Simone Show. And I've
- 36:20Speaker 2: said it before and I say it again. I have
- 36:21Speaker 2: Mark Simone on every single day. I always listen to
- 36:25Speaker 2: the toward the tail end of the Curtis and Larry
- 36:29Speaker 2: in the morning because my show in New Jersey ends
- 36:32Speaker 2: to hear the end of their show. I get off
- 36:34Speaker 2: my air and I listen to them, and then I
- 36:36Speaker 2: listened to Mark Simone. So anyway, that's part of the routine.
- 36:39Speaker 2: It's going to be a nice new routine starting on Monday,
- 36:41Speaker 2: and I can't wait. I got a lot to talk
- 36:42Speaker 2: about today. Phone lines are open at eight hundred three
- 36:45Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Love to hear what you
- 36:48Speaker 2: have to say for those who are wondering what are
- 36:50Speaker 2: you doing these days? Ken, you know, I spent twenty
- 36:52Speaker 2: years at Channel seven. I was at Channel five before then.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Nowadays I'm on a channel called on New Jersey O
- 36:58Speaker 2: n NJ dot com and you could stream it from
- 37:00Speaker 2: anywhere if you want to check that out. But that's
- 37:02Speaker 2: when you have listened to wor twenty hours straight and
- 37:06Speaker 2: you want to get a minute of something different, That's
- 37:08Speaker 2: what you could do. Otherwise, stay right here. Well, have
- 37:11Speaker 2: you listened to the news lately and heard about the
- 37:15Speaker 2: governor of New York, Kathy Hokel And all you've heard
- 37:18Speaker 2: in the last couple of months is, oh, she's like
- 37:20Speaker 2: ten twenty points ahead of Bruce Blakeman, who is a
- 37:25Speaker 2: NASA Kenny executive, great guy, amazing politician, just a brilliant man.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And he is of course running as a Republican for
- 37:35Speaker 2: governor in New York State. Well, there was just a
- 37:37Speaker 2: poll out that showed that he went from about fifteen
- 37:41Speaker 2: to twenty points behind Kathy Hokel. And a lot of
- 37:43Speaker 2: that has to do with name recognition. You know, when
- 37:46Speaker 2: you get like one two three thousand people called the
- 37:49Speaker 2: first name that you hear that you recognize, you tend
- 37:53Speaker 2: to say, oh, yeah, I'd be likely to support that person.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Why because their name sounds familiar. If it's a name
- 37:59Speaker 2: that isn't familiar to you, then you don't necessarily feel
- 38:02Speaker 2: like you want to support that person. In the case
- 38:05Speaker 2: of Bruce Blakeman, people in the lower third of New
- 38:08Speaker 2: York State have heard of him more than likely. But
- 38:10Speaker 2: you go up to Buffalo, where Kathy Hochle is from,
- 38:14Speaker 2: you go to Syracuse, or they don't know what a
- 38:16Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman is, but they're starting to learn and they're
- 38:19Speaker 2: starting to like what they see in Bruce Blakeman. So
- 38:23Speaker 2: the latest poll, and it's a very accurate one, it's
- 38:26Speaker 2: an internal poll, shows that Bruce Blakeman is about four
- 38:30Speaker 2: points behind Kathy Hokele with what ten weeks to go
- 38:34Speaker 2: before the election, and that the independence there are still
- 38:38Speaker 2: about ten percent undecided. So there is a good chance
- 38:43Speaker 2: that Bruce Blakeman can pull this off. Yet, if you
- 38:46Speaker 2: had asked three or four months ago, anybody worth their
- 38:49Speaker 2: salt would have said, there's no way Bruce Blakeman can
- 38:52Speaker 2: be Kathy Hokele, now write this moment and remember polls
- 38:56Speaker 2: or snapshots in history. But based on what we know now,
- 39:00Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman could very well win. If the election were
- 39:03Speaker 2: held today. It is very possible that Bruce Blakeman could
- 39:06Speaker 2: be the next governor of New York. So we'll see
- 39:08Speaker 2: what happens in November. But it takes people showing up
- 39:12Speaker 2: and voting. You gotta make sure you don't say, like
- 39:16Speaker 2: a lot of people say, I only vote for prisident Rosatto.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I don't go on vote for the Congress. What have
- 39:24Speaker 2: I only vote for prize and what is it? Though
- 39:26Speaker 2: they call them day the Senators, I don't vote for them.
- 39:29Speaker 2: You have to vote. You have to vote. What else
- 39:32Speaker 2: are you going to be doing? Okay, get up and vote.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Go out and vote. If you have to vote absent D,
- 39:37Speaker 2: vote absent D. But make sure you vote. And if
- 39:41Speaker 2: you're not registered, call today, go down to your election
- 39:45Speaker 2: headquarters and your county and whatnot, and go make sure
- 39:48Speaker 2: you have your paperwork in and you are ready legally
- 39:51Speaker 2: to vote. Now, you don't want to find out on
- 39:54Speaker 2: election day that, oh I haven't voted in ten years,
- 39:56Speaker 2: and therefore I can't go and make sure you can
- 40:00Speaker 2: and vote. Very very important. Meanwhile, we talked about this
- 40:03Speaker 2: a little while ago in the Garden State. Governor Mikey Cheryl,
- 40:06Speaker 2: the fraud as I like to call her, doing everything
- 40:09Speaker 2: in her power to keep the FEDS from seeing the
- 40:13Speaker 2: Garden State's voter rolls. And we just had a guest
- 40:17Speaker 2: down a little while ago, Mike Kelly, who is with
- 40:19Speaker 2: North Jersey dot com. He's a columnist for the Record
- 40:22Speaker 2: and for USA Today, and some of the things we
- 40:26Speaker 2: talked about. Number one, again, Mikey Cheryl deciding that yes,
- 40:30Speaker 2: in spite of the fact that there are known sixty
- 40:34Speaker 2: six hundred people who registered to vote in New Jersey
- 40:38Speaker 2: who were illegal aliens and should not have registered, and
- 40:42Speaker 2: there were four hundred who definitely cast their ballots who
- 40:45Speaker 2: should not have done so. In spite of that, Mikey
- 40:48Speaker 2: Cheryl refuses to hand over the voter role information. She says,
- 40:52Speaker 2: we'll have our own investigation. Oh, you mean you the
- 40:55Speaker 2: party that caused this, You the Democrat party that resulted
- 40:59Speaker 2: in ten of millions of illegal migrants walking in across
- 41:02Speaker 2: the border. You the party that refuses to let Republicans
- 41:05Speaker 2: kick them out. You the party that doesn't let us
- 41:08Speaker 2: prosecute when they commit crimes. You the party that doesn't
- 41:11Speaker 2: like to talk about it when they kill people like
- 41:13Speaker 2: a Nungary, rape and murder and pillage thousands of people
- 41:17Speaker 2: over the last few years. You who lie about the
- 41:21Speaker 2: fact that illegals commit more crimes than non illegals in
- 41:24Speaker 2: this country by saying, can there are no statistics showing
- 41:27Speaker 2: that illegal migrants commit more crimes? Then again, of course
- 41:30Speaker 2: the Democrats who run the big cities where the illegals congregate.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Those big cities, by law, do not collect data on illegals.
- 41:39Speaker 2: When a police officer arrests somebody in New York City,
- 41:42Speaker 2: they aren't even allowed to ask if they're here illegally.
- 41:45Speaker 2: So therefore, how do you know if illegals are committing
- 41:48Speaker 2: more or less crimes? You don't know, And that's the intent,
- 41:52Speaker 2: that's the way you set it up, and you think
- 41:54Speaker 2: we're all stupid, And unfortunately members of the media are
- 41:58Speaker 2: sick of fans and they just go along with it
- 42:00Speaker 2: because it's part of the agenda for you, and they
- 42:02Speaker 2: don't ask you questions like well, if you're not prosecuting illegals,
- 42:07Speaker 2: or if you're not asking people if they're here illegally,
- 42:10Speaker 2: how do we know if illegals are committing more crimes
- 42:13Speaker 2: or fewer than citizens. No, you just sit on this
- 42:17Speaker 2: statistic that is artificially created and say that illegals are
- 42:21Speaker 2: committing fewer crimes, just like the same fake statistic that
- 42:25Speaker 2: says that crime is down in big cities around the
- 42:28Speaker 2: country like New York. When you have people like Alvin
- 42:31Speaker 2: Bragg who refuse to prosecute two thirds of the crimes
- 42:34Speaker 2: on the books by his own admission in his own
- 42:37Speaker 2: paperwork when he first took office. If you don't prosecute
- 42:41Speaker 2: two thirds of the crimes as crimes, crime will look
- 42:44Speaker 2: like it's down on paper year to year. Yet I
- 42:47Speaker 2: never hear people talking about that. We're all supposed to
- 42:49Speaker 2: be stupid and accepted. Oh, look, crime is down. Democrats
- 42:53Speaker 2: must be doing something right. Yeah, they're not prosecuting crime.
- 42:57Speaker 2: That's why crime looks like it's down. If I like
- 43:00Speaker 2: all over the place, but I refuse to report them
- 43:02Speaker 2: from this point forward as fires, suddenly it looks like
- 43:05Speaker 2: fire is down when two thirds of the earth is burning.
- 43:07Speaker 2: And that's what's happening in Democrat run cities right now. Folks, Sorry,
- 43:11Speaker 2: I'm ranting. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 43:15Speaker 2: the number to call. You're listening to the Mark Simone show,
- 43:17Speaker 2: Ken rozetto Win from Mark on a beautiful Friday, and
- 43:20Speaker 2: we are talking again about Mikey Cheryl. So let's get
- 43:23Speaker 2: back to that topic. Mikey Cheryl, the governor of New Jersey.
- 43:28Speaker 2: One of the issues is, of course, the MVC, which
- 43:32Speaker 2: is the New Jersey answer to the DMV. Why they decided,
- 43:35Speaker 2: you know, in typical Democrat fashion, when something is broken
- 43:38Speaker 2: doesn't work right, just change the name. If you have
- 43:42Speaker 2: communists running things and everything falls apart and it requires
- 43:46Speaker 2: killing millions of people, so they get a bad name.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Let's change it to the let's call a Democratic Socialist
- 43:52Speaker 2: of America. That has a nice ring. So now you
- 43:54Speaker 2: have the word America in there. It makes it sound
- 43:56Speaker 2: like it's it's good, proud. Yeah, we have red, white,
- 43:59Speaker 2: and blue America. No, it's communist. That's what it is,
- 44:02Speaker 2: just by another name. It is communist. So in Mikey
- 44:07Speaker 2: Cheryl's case, Mikey Cheryl said that there were sixty six
- 44:11Speaker 2: hundred people that we know who voted who shouldn't have voted. Well,
- 44:14Speaker 2: the way it's set up in New Jersey, when you
- 44:17Speaker 2: get your driver's license, you are automatically registered to vote,
- 44:20Speaker 2: which in and of itself is ridiculous. When I go
- 44:23Speaker 2: buy a quart of milk, I shouldn't automatically get a car.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I just want a quart milk. Why are you telling
- 44:28Speaker 2: me that you're going to grant me this extraordinary privilege
- 44:32Speaker 2: just because I get a driver's license. That's just ridiculous.
- 44:35Speaker 2: So of course you knew this was going to happen.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I remember California first doing this in the nineteen nineties
- 44:41Speaker 2: when they first allowed illegal aliens to have driver's licenses.
- 44:45Speaker 2: I remember the big argument from Republicans was that they
- 44:48Speaker 2: wanted the driver's licenses carefully noted that the person who
- 44:53Speaker 2: had the license was an illegal alien. They wanted that
- 44:57Speaker 2: on the license. But the liberals in California sho out loudly,
- 45:01Speaker 2: know that ostracizes them. That's not fair, they'll be discriminated against. Well, sure,
- 45:07Speaker 2: they're not entitled to the privilege of a driver's license.
- 45:10Speaker 2: We are not all entitled to a driver's license. It
- 45:13Speaker 2: is not a right, it is a privilege. So if
- 45:16Speaker 2: citizens are not granted that as a right, but a privilege,
- 45:20Speaker 2: why should someone here illegally you get it as a right.
- 45:23Speaker 2: So if you're going to have the joy and glory
- 45:27Speaker 2: of having a driver's license when you're not a citizen,
- 45:30Speaker 2: then why not deal with the fact that there'll be
- 45:33Speaker 2: a little mark on there so that the police know
- 45:34Speaker 2: you're not a citizen. Aha, this was all part of
- 45:38Speaker 2: the Democrat plan. This was so that eventually you could
- 45:41Speaker 2: get these people to be able to intermingle with citizens
- 45:44Speaker 2: and nobody would know the difference. That is exactly what
- 45:48Speaker 2: has happened. So now what happens years later? We had
- 45:51Speaker 2: nine to eleven, and after nine to eleven, everybody still
- 45:54Speaker 2: needed their idea to get around, right, but you didn't
- 45:57Speaker 2: know if that driver's license now indicate that you were
- 46:00Speaker 2: a citizen or not. So ninety five percent of us
- 46:04Speaker 2: had to go spend money, go down to the DMV,
- 46:07Speaker 2: take time off from work, present tons of ID in
- 46:11Speaker 2: order to get what real ID. Yeah, the Democrats don't
- 46:15Speaker 2: like to talk about the fact that it's because they
- 46:17Speaker 2: gave our driver's licenses to illegal aliens and did not
- 46:21Speaker 2: specially denote those licenses as being those of illegal aliens.
- 46:25Speaker 2: You and I had to go get a second license
- 46:29Speaker 2: on our time with our money. That was a real ID.
- 46:34Speaker 2: We wouldn't have had to have a real ID if
- 46:36Speaker 2: not for the liberals giving driver licenses to illegal aliens,
- 46:41Speaker 2: or if they would have just marked them as a
- 46:44Speaker 2: driver's license for an illegal alien, then our ID would
- 46:47Speaker 2: have all been real ID. But no, we had to
- 46:49Speaker 2: now get real ID, which is kind of the same
- 46:52Speaker 2: whole point. But instead of them having to have the
- 46:54Speaker 2: mark on their license that they're illegal, we had to
- 46:57Speaker 2: get a mark on our license saying that we're legal.
- 47:00Speaker 10: Do you get it?
- 47:01Speaker 2: This is all Democrat run. This is all liberal run.
- 47:04Speaker 2: But they never talked about that, and no member of
- 47:07Speaker 2: the Sikaphat left this media, the mainstream media said a
- 47:10Speaker 2: word about it. When you talk to people who are
- 47:12Speaker 2: in the media, they shove their arms up and they go, so, what,
- 47:14Speaker 2: what's a big deal? What's the big deal? You say
- 47:17Speaker 2: that people shouldn't have to show ID because people in
- 47:21Speaker 2: poorer communities don't necessarily have ID and it is difficult
- 47:24Speaker 2: for them to go downtown and get it. But then
- 47:26Speaker 2: you have no problem with those of us who have
- 47:29Speaker 2: to go downtown and get a new ID because the illegals
- 47:32Speaker 2: have ID when they shouldn't. And now it's no big
- 47:34Speaker 2: deal for us, but it is a big deal for
- 47:36Speaker 2: poor people. Huh okay, there's always a double standard. Without
- 47:40Speaker 2: a double standard, liberals would have no standards at all.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten, eight
- 47:45Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. And just
- 47:48Speaker 2: to wrap things up in Jersey, Mikey Cheryl doesn't want
- 47:53Speaker 2: to show those voter rolls to the federal government. And
- 47:56Speaker 2: now we don't think that they're only sixty six hundred
- 47:59Speaker 2: people who are illegally registered to vote. The federal government
- 48:02Speaker 2: has information suggesting there are as many as thirty five thousand,
- 48:06Speaker 2: and the Republicans in the state of New Jersey say
- 48:10Speaker 2: there are as many as eighty thousand illegal aliens who
- 48:14Speaker 2: are registered to vote. Where do they get that number from?
- 48:17Speaker 2: Last year? Apparently eighty thousand responses came in for people
- 48:22Speaker 2: who were called to jury duty in the state of
- 48:24Speaker 2: New Jersey, and they get the names for jurors potential
- 48:28Speaker 2: jurors from driver's licenses and people registered to vote. So
- 48:34Speaker 2: eighty thousand people responded, No, I'm sorry, I must be
- 48:38Speaker 2: excused from jury duty because I am not a US citizen.
- 48:43Speaker 2: But then, if you're not a US citizen, why are
- 48:45Speaker 2: you on our list as being eligible to vote? Uh huh.
- 48:49Speaker 2: And that's why the Republicans in New Jersey and the
- 48:52Speaker 2: Republicans in the federal government are demanding to see New
- 48:54Speaker 2: Jersey's voter roles, because it ain't sixty six hundred. Where
- 48:57Speaker 2: there's smoke, there's fire. And if we know of sixty
- 49:00Speaker 2: six hundred, it's likely more like six hundred sixty thousand.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Don't fool yourself. We know of at least nine hundred
- 49:06Speaker 2: thousand illegals being in the state of New Jersey right now,
- 49:09Speaker 2: and I bet you the vast majority are registered to vote.
- 49:13Speaker 2: We will take your calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 49:15Speaker 2: to one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two
- 49:17Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Ken Rosatto in for Mark on
- 49:21Speaker 2: the last two hour day of the Marx Simone Show.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Starting Monday. It becomes three hours nine am to noon
- 49:27Speaker 2: Monday through Friday. Don't forget to check it out. I'm
- 49:29Speaker 2: sure Mark will be in rare form when he has
- 49:32Speaker 2: to roll out of bed an hour early and come
- 49:34Speaker 2: it here at nine o'clock. I believe it'll start with it.
- 49:37Speaker 2: It's nine o'clock. I can't wait to hear it. I'll
- 49:40Speaker 2: be tuned in. I'm sure you will too. Sunday again
- 49:43Speaker 2: heightsmid eighties today and coming up today Jesse Weber, news
- 49:47Speaker 2: Nation's chief legal analyst. He's going to be talking about
- 49:50Speaker 2: doctor Fauci's territory when we come back at seven to
- 49:54Speaker 2: ten WR. Now more of.
- 49:56Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR. Going from
- 50:00Speaker 1: Mark here again is Ken Rose out.
- 50:03Speaker 2: And it's good to be with you. On a beautiful Friday.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Got a call for my mother. She said, gosh, you're
- 50:08Speaker 2: in a terrible mood. I said, sorry, mam, I've been
- 50:10Speaker 2: moving for the last two weeks, so forgive me for
- 50:12Speaker 2: being a little grumpy. Let's go to Vincent Fort Pierce, Florida.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Good boarding to Evince.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Yeah, good morning.
- 50:17Speaker 8: You know when I was on hold, I couldn't hear
- 50:19Speaker 8: anybody else, so I don't know if anybody else brought
- 50:21Speaker 8: this up. But let me clarify what your guests didn't
- 50:24Speaker 8: get right. It's the voter motor Bill was passed in
- 50:28Speaker 8: nineteen ninety three by Bill Clinton. That was the first
- 50:31Speaker 8: thing he did where you have to you can register
- 50:34Speaker 8: to vote when you get a driver's license. And that
- 50:37Speaker 8: was the last time states like California, which was a
- 50:40Speaker 8: solid Republican state, voted Republican. And they knew exactly what
- 50:44Speaker 8: they were doing. They did this intentionally, and back then
- 50:48Speaker 8: they didn't knowing, you know, outwardly allow illegal aliens, but
- 50:53Speaker 8: they were certainly allowing them. I remember I was living
- 50:56Speaker 8: in New Jersey when they passed it. My wife couldn't
- 50:58Speaker 8: get a driver's license with every imaginable we moved back
- 51:02Speaker 8: and she had had a state and the marriage license thing. Well,
- 51:06Speaker 8: I saw people walking up there in ninety four with
- 51:09Speaker 8: crumbled up pieces of paper from a third world country.
- 51:11Speaker 8: They went and got them an interpreter, and they didn't,
- 51:15Speaker 8: you know, and obviously they must have signed up to vote.
- 51:17Speaker 8: So this has been going on for a long time.
- 51:20Speaker 8: And if anybody doesn't understand why Murphy did it, they're
- 51:23Speaker 8: either lying or they're pretty far out there. Murphy did
- 51:26Speaker 8: it when he saw Joe Biden allow or invite millions
- 51:31Speaker 8: of illegal aliens into the country. That's when he said, oh,
- 51:35Speaker 8: let's give them a license, knowingly give them a license.
- 51:38Speaker 8: I mean they were giving them out anyway. But what
- 51:41Speaker 8: needs to happen is they need to eliminate they need
- 51:44Speaker 8: to repeal the voter Motor Bill. But they also need
- 51:49Speaker 8: to stop reciprocity with states that give illegal aliens a
- 51:55Speaker 8: driver's life. We've seen what's going on all over the
- 51:58Speaker 8: country with truck drivers. It was just another story in
- 52:01Speaker 8: Minnesota and an illegal alien was driving for a company.
- 52:05Speaker 8: They called him in to pay his parking tickets, ended
- 52:09Speaker 8: up shooting the boss, the boss's wife, the secretary. I mean,
- 52:13Speaker 8: it's insanity.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Vince. Did you see the death That almost one in
- 52:17Speaker 2: three commercial driver's licenses is held by an illegal alia.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I could see there was one in twenty one in three.
- 52:23Speaker 2: That's obscene.
- 52:25Speaker 8: They really need to stop. They need to stop the
- 52:27Speaker 8: reciprocity between states. If your state's going to allow that,
- 52:31Speaker 8: then another state shouldn't allow them to come into there
- 52:35Speaker 8: with an illegal alien driver's license. It's insane.
- 52:39Speaker 2: There was, Vince, you and your darn logic.
- 52:43Speaker 8: I know they were the first one was right near
- 52:45Speaker 8: my house in Florida, where an illegal alien tried to
- 52:48Speaker 8: make a U turn on the turnpike and a car
- 52:51Speaker 8: went right underneath him and killed like five people.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I mean, it was that was national news. Remember that.
- 52:57Speaker 2: And remember we had the video of the man's face
- 52:59Speaker 2: and he like unfazed by it.
- 53:03Speaker 8: Him and his partner didn't even blink an eye.
- 53:05Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 53:06Speaker 8: I mean, it's just that's the way it is, and
- 53:08Speaker 8: it shouldn't.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Listen. I remember when I was sixteen and I got
- 53:12Speaker 2: my junior license, I was told, I was lectured that
- 53:15Speaker 2: a driver's license is not a right, it is a privilege.
- 53:18Speaker 2: So if it's a privilege for a tax paying US citizen,
- 53:21Speaker 2: why is it just automatically handed out to somebody who's
- 53:23Speaker 2: here illegally? And I'm done with.
- 53:25Speaker 8: It, by the way, one question, By the way, day
- 53:29Speaker 8: after nine to eleven, New Jersey instituted this six point
- 53:32Speaker 8: policy when you renewed your driver's license, you had to
- 53:35Speaker 8: have six forms of ID. What happened to that?
- 53:39Speaker 2: Yeah, good question. Democrats happened to that? Vince. I appreciate you,
- 53:43Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Well, let's go to somebody in
- 53:45Speaker 2: New Jersey. Here's Chris and Trenton. Good morning, Chris.
- 53:48Speaker 9: Yeah, hi, A.
- 53:49Speaker 6: Longtime listener to Mark Snooth, two points, very big, excuse
- 53:55Speaker 6: me important from Trenton, New Jersey. Number one, Mercy put
- 54:00Speaker 6: into the law that you have to opt out. So
- 54:03Speaker 6: everybody comes in for a license, they're automatically signed up
- 54:07Speaker 6: to vote, but you get a letter in a mail
- 54:10Speaker 6: I don't know, weeks later to ask if you want
- 54:12Speaker 6: to opt out of registration. The problem is illegals. They
- 54:17Speaker 6: lived in an apartment for a couple of weeks in
- 54:19Speaker 6: a league, and they also often give s fictitious addresses.
- 54:23Speaker 2: And how many times do you go through all how
- 54:25Speaker 2: many times I don't mean to step on you, Chris,
- 54:27Speaker 2: do you go through all your mail? Sometimes it looks
- 54:29Speaker 2: like junk mail. The concept that you would automatically be
- 54:32Speaker 2: a registered to vote and you have to opt out
- 54:35Speaker 2: is obscene. That's like you ought. That's like if a
- 54:37Speaker 2: company said you automatically have to give us one hundred
- 54:40Speaker 2: dollars because you left your house this morning, and you
- 54:43Speaker 2: have to opt out of that. Why would you do that?
- 54:45Speaker 6: It's clear active exactly that was Murphy's Murphy put that
- 54:49Speaker 6: in there. Maybe it was a preemptive move to cut
- 54:52Speaker 6: off Chitarelli from getting elected because the new election was
- 54:55Speaker 6: going to be close The other thing I want to
- 54:58Speaker 6: say real quick was we had two races on city
- 55:02Speaker 6: council that were determined by one boat. It came down
- 55:06Speaker 6: to one boat. And I'm sure to across the state
- 55:09Speaker 6: of New Jersey on council races at the grass roots level.
- 55:12Speaker 2: That's what you have, right, and that's why the idea,
- 55:16Speaker 2: the idea of four hundred people illegally casting their votes
- 55:18Speaker 2: is just obscene. Thank you so much, or appreciate the call.
- 55:21Speaker 2: We go to Mike in Portchester with a minute left.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Good morning, Mike, Good morning again.
- 55:26Speaker 10: Listen. The reason why I called was because of the
- 55:29Speaker 10: spaucy business. And I called because Gordon Chang a while
- 55:36Speaker 10: back said some really scary stuff like a designer virus,
- 55:40Speaker 10: you know, that would attack our genal you know, Americans
- 55:46Speaker 10: or whites or whatever and ignore the Chinese.
- 55:51Speaker 6: You know.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Well, clearly, clearly it didn't work this time, because everybody
- 55:56Speaker 2: got sick, no matter what your nationality or ethnicity. But
- 56:01Speaker 2: the idea that we would have been and if you
- 56:03Speaker 2: heard Larry Mensi with such passion talking about this this morning,
- 56:06Speaker 2: Larry and Curtis, the idea that we would have been
- 56:10Speaker 2: in some way behind this, I say we was Anthony Fauci. Well,
- 56:14Speaker 2: by the way, let me just mention, I went to
- 56:15Speaker 2: the same high school Anthony Fauci, doctor Fauci, and I
- 56:18Speaker 2: went to Regis High School here in Manhattan. He was
- 56:20Speaker 2: attle older than me, obviously I'm only fifty nine, but
- 56:23Speaker 2: I had met him a number of times at fundraisers
- 56:26Speaker 2: at the school. I've had a bunch of conversations with him,
- 56:28Speaker 2: I've interviewed him, and I worked over at Channel seven.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Anthony Fauci started out as a somewhat arrogant guy and
- 56:35Speaker 2: became a totally stuck up ass as time went on,
- 56:39Speaker 2: during the entire pandemic. And the fact that we now
- 56:44Speaker 2: see his diary, which he stupidly wrote on government computers
- 56:50Speaker 2: and stored on government servers, which is why we now
- 56:53Speaker 2: have the diary. And by the way, he doesn't deny
- 56:55Speaker 2: that it's his diary. He never did. The fact that
- 56:59Speaker 2: we now have it displays for the world to see
- 57:01Speaker 2: how as Rome was burning, he was fiddling. And it
- 57:05Speaker 2: has to give you an idea of all those people
- 57:07Speaker 2: who thought that Anthony Fauci was a hero. What an
- 57:09Speaker 2: absolute ass and total negligent moron. He was sorry to
- 57:15Speaker 2: be such a downer right there, seven to ten wor
- 57:18Speaker 2: the Voice of New York. We are going to be
- 57:19Speaker 2: talking about doctor Fauci in just a few minutes with
- 57:23Speaker 2: somebody very special, and that is Jesse Weber. So don't
- 57:26Speaker 2: go away.
- 57:27Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show Live from the woor Life Back Studios.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Guest hosting from Mark Today. Here's Ken Roseio, so nice
- 57:37Speaker 2: to be with you on a beautiful Friday. The last
- 57:39Speaker 2: two hour Mark Simone Show in History. Monday, it becomes
- 57:42Speaker 2: three hours starting from nine to noon. Don't miss that.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Got to hear the great Mark Simone three hours. Well,
- 57:48Speaker 2: you know, if you've been paying attention to what's going
- 57:50Speaker 2: on with doctor Anthony Fauci and Ran Paul calling him
- 57:54Speaker 2: into the Senate for hearings, some of the stuff that
- 57:58Speaker 2: was well announced in the Senate was pretty shocking for
- 58:00Speaker 2: a lot of people. The idea that doctor Fauci had
- 58:04Speaker 2: spent his couple of years that well, he's been working
- 58:07Speaker 2: for the federal government for decades, but the couple of
- 58:09Speaker 2: years during the COVID pandemic, while the rest of us
- 58:12Speaker 2: were suffering and locked in a house, he was hobnobbing
- 58:15Speaker 2: with major celebrities. We do we have it up. We
- 58:19Speaker 2: got it up, all right.
- 58:20Speaker 11: This is a thrill for me because there are very
- 58:23Speaker 11: few experts of anything in the world, I think, and
- 58:26Speaker 11: you truly have emerged as a personal.
- 58:30Speaker 12: Hero for me.
- 58:31Speaker 11: Just to have this little corner of your time for
- 58:33Speaker 11: us is such a joy.
- 58:35Speaker 2: And that is Julia Roberts, by the way, talking about him.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Every celebrity who would come on, Remember everybody went on
- 58:41Speaker 2: zoom maybe these little zoom calls. Everybody went on zoom
- 58:44Speaker 2: and just just gushed about him. Here was Governor Cuomo.
- 58:48Speaker 13: I said that as soon as the vaccine is deemed
- 58:51Speaker 13: ready and safe, I'll be the first one to take
- 58:53Speaker 13: a vaccine.
- 58:55Speaker 4: Maybe we enlist you. I'll do it with you.
- 58:58Speaker 13: We'll do an ad telling New Yorkers safe to take
- 59:00Speaker 13: the vaccine.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I had that work out. Everybody was forced
- 59:04Speaker 2: to take the vaccine and then everybody still got sick. Well, anyway,
- 59:08Speaker 2: we talked about doctor Fauchi a lot here on the
- 59:12Speaker 2: air in the last couple of days, and now he's
- 59:14Speaker 2: come out as a very self absorbed stardom seeker. Let
- 59:18Speaker 2: us go on the phone right now to Jesse Weber,
- 59:20Speaker 2: News Nation's chief legal analyst, host of Jesse Weber live,
- 59:24Speaker 2: he joins us this morning. Good morning to Jesse.
- 59:26Speaker 12: Good morning, Thanks for having me.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Well, it is amazing to see this man, doctor Fauci,
- 59:32Speaker 2: whom I've met. I'm sure you've probably met. I met
- 59:34Speaker 2: him a bunch of times. We went to the same
- 59:36Speaker 2: high school at different times, but we used to show
- 59:39Speaker 2: up for charitable fundraisers there all the time, and I
- 59:42Speaker 2: just just remember feeling this sense of condescension from him
- 59:46Speaker 2: every time I met him, and now it comes out
- 59:48Speaker 2: on full display. What did you make of the whole
- 59:50Speaker 2: Senate hearing?
- 59:51Speaker 12: Well, first of all, I wasn't surprised that you weren't
- 59:54Speaker 12: in the same graduating class as you're a young guy.
- 59:57Speaker 12: But look, I'll tell you, from an optic point of view, Look,
- 1:00:02Speaker 12: I think it's a little more nuanced. But I think
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: from an optics point of view, when you couple what
- 1:00:06Speaker 12: happened in the last week, right the diary entries, and
- 1:00:09Speaker 12: then him fleeting the fifth a lot of people will
- 1:00:11Speaker 12: look at that and say, my gosh, doesn't look great.
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: Looks guilty, looks doesn't look good. Now, when you get
- 1:00:16Speaker 12: into the granular aspect of and you think about what
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: is his legal concerns.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: And his legal risks.
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: I got to say, from a legal point of view,
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: I'm not surprised that he pled the fifth, And if
- 1:00:26Speaker 12: I was representing him, I probably would have recommended the
- 1:00:28Speaker 12: same thing. And I can explain why, because there's two
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: different conversations right to the optics of it. And I
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: will tell you from an American public point of view,
- 1:00:37Speaker 12: and I think there is a strong appetite to still
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: understand what happened during the COVID nineteen pandemic and its response.
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: If he would have been granted immunity, what do I mean,
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: if he would have been granted immunity to testify that
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: nothing he said during that hearing could be used against
- 1:00:54Speaker 12: him in any criminal proceeding. I would have liked to know.
- 1:00:57Speaker 12: I would have liked to hear what he would have said.
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: I would have liked to hear or his answers. I
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: wanted substantive information about the COVID response, and unfortunately what
- 1:01:05Speaker 12: we were left with is no response. So I think we,
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: the American people, lost out on that. But from a
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: legal point of view, I'm not surprised he pled the fifth,
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: even though optically it didn't look bad.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: It looked bad.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Could he be charging just for people who don't realize
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Jesse is an attorney? Should could he? Could he not
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: now be liable for prosecution? Well, I guess the Senate
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: doesn't prosecute. They recommend for prosecutions to a justice department.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: But could that not happen now because of the fact
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: that he, in essence, did not testify when he was
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: called before the Senate to testify.
- 1:01:35Speaker 12: It's the million dollar question.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Let me explain it.
- 1:01:38Speaker 12: So when somebody pleads the Fifth, okay, they're right, they're
- 1:01:42Speaker 12: right against self incrimination. Generally speaking, when someone is granted immunity,
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: or let's just say, for this example, someone's granted a
- 1:01:48Speaker 12: pardon and they're asked to testify about that conduct, they
- 1:01:53Speaker 12: generally can't invoke the Fifth anymore, right because they're protected.
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: Having said that, the pardon that he was granted and
- 1:02:00Speaker 12: from President Biden was for conduct from twenty fourteen to
- 1:02:02Speaker 12: twenty twenty five. So if he were to come up
- 1:02:05Speaker 12: and purely be asked questions about that, I think you
- 1:02:08Speaker 12: would have a difficult argument to say that he should
- 1:02:10Speaker 12: be protected by the Fifth Amendment.
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: However, However, what he's not protected from is anything that
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: he says during that testimony that the committee believes is
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: a lie. So if they believe he committed perjury, if
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: you were to actually testify and provide substance of answers
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: the other day and they believe it was inconsistent with
- 1:02:28Speaker 12: something that he said on the record or under oath,
- 1:02:30Speaker 12: or other public statements or something in his diary entries,
- 1:02:33Speaker 12: potentially he could be brought up on perjury charges. And
- 1:02:36Speaker 12: that is why he pled the fifth. He had no
- 1:02:38Speaker 12: protection over that. So what did you see? This is
- 1:02:41Speaker 12: very interesting. Do you remember when he was asked questions,
- 1:02:44Speaker 12: doctor Faucia, what tie are you wearing? Doctor Faucia? What
- 1:02:48Speaker 12: colors the carpet? Now many people are interpreted at the show,
- 1:02:51Speaker 12: oh my gosh, he won't even answer questions about that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 12: You know why they asked him that, right, They asked
- 1:02:56Speaker 12: them that because if he were to answer it, because
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: for him refusing to answer those questions that he knows
- 1:03:04Speaker 12: he could never be prosecuted for He's not going to
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: be prosecuted. He says his tie is gray and it's blue.
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: But their argument would be, we're asking questions that have
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: nothing to do with the subject matter in question. We
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: had a subpoena. He had a legal obligation to answer
- 1:03:21Speaker 12: our questions. And if he won't even answer our questions
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: about non substantive issues about the tie and the carpet,
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: he's in contempt. He's in contempt. He's legally not answering
- 1:03:32Speaker 12: our questions. He's legally obligated to answer those questions, and
- 1:03:35Speaker 12: he chose not to. Now, from a legal point of view, again,
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: I would say, plead the fifth to everything, because there
- 1:03:41Speaker 12: is an argument that if you selectively plead the fifth,
- 1:03:44Speaker 12: is you plead the fifth to certain questions and you
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: answer other ones, you might pierce that. So again, I'm
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: not surprised that he did that, but that is what
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: they're going to say. He wouldn't even answer the most
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: basic questions and it was his legal obligation to answer
- 1:03:57Speaker 12: those because he knew he couldn't be prosecuted on that.
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: That's the argument they're going to go with.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: I heard some people, Jesse, some legal folks saying that
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: the fact that he even created or made an opening
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: statement was potentially damaging.
- 1:04:08Speaker 12: Correct that that is an argument that you can make.
- 1:04:12Speaker 12: That is an argument you can make. It goes to
- 1:04:14Speaker 12: this idea of selective pleading the fifth I was actually
- 1:04:17Speaker 12: just talking about it with a lawyer buddy of mine yesterday,
- 1:04:19Speaker 12: and he said, if you answer certain substance of questions,
- 1:04:23Speaker 12: or even if you provide an opening statement, you could say,
- 1:04:26Speaker 12: I don't know if it'd be successful, or you could
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: say you're raising your state of mind. Your rate is
- 1:04:32Speaker 12: in your opinion. And if you're going to raise your
- 1:04:34Speaker 12: state of mind, your opinion, your view on that, then
- 1:04:38Speaker 12: you should be able to answer those other questions. It
- 1:04:41Speaker 12: opens the door for you to answer questions about your
- 1:04:44Speaker 12: conduct as director. You're twenty fourteen to twenty twenty five.
- 1:04:48Speaker 12: So it's an interesting legal argument. It's not particularly settled
- 1:04:51Speaker 12: law on this. And I will tell you you put
- 1:04:53Speaker 12: even Anthony Faucher to the side. If this is an
- 1:04:56Speaker 12: issue that's brought up in the courts and it makes
- 1:04:58Speaker 12: its way, it kind of a big rad smifications for people
- 1:05:01Speaker 12: who testify in front of Congress. Moving forward.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Does Anthony I think Anthony, I say Anthony like we're friends.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Does Anthony Fauci ever see jail?
- 1:05:13Speaker 12: I don't think so. I don't think so. First of all,
- 1:05:15Speaker 12: in terms of contempt vote, it's an uphill battle. If
- 1:05:18Speaker 12: it passes through the command has to go to a
- 1:05:20Speaker 12: full Senate vote. You just need a majority, right, but
- 1:05:24Speaker 12: you first have to get past the sixty vote threshold.
- 1:05:28Speaker 12: And based on the questions you saw the other day,
- 1:05:29Speaker 12: I don't think they're going to get democratic support. So
- 1:05:31Speaker 12: the idea of holding him a contempt or criminal contempt
- 1:05:33Speaker 12: and referring it to the DOJ unlikely in terms of again,
- 1:05:38Speaker 12: he has a federal protection for the pardon, but in
- 1:05:42Speaker 12: terms of state crimes, I can't see. I know that
- 1:05:45Speaker 12: the AG in Florida has talked about opening up an investigation,
- 1:05:48Speaker 12: but I haven't seen him being charged or potentially charged
- 1:05:52Speaker 12: with any state crimes. And there could be difficulty for
- 1:05:55Speaker 12: him being charged with state crimes. As a federal official.
- 1:05:58Speaker 12: He can make the argument that he was acting in
- 1:05:59Speaker 12: his federal duty and that can get kind of complicated.
- 1:06:03Speaker 12: So I don't see it likely that Anthony Fauci would
- 1:06:06Speaker 12: be prosecuted and this would actually lead to a conviction.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Millions of human beings died other millions of human beings
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: were separated from their parents as they died alone in
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: nursing homes. Children lost years in school and don't know
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: how to be social. This entire country literally was shaken
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: to the core by the man with the glasses, Anthony Fauci.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: And he does have glasses, by the way, when he's
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: not testifying. And it's just unusual to me that in
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: a country like this, with the justice that we have,
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: that a man like that could get away with it all.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: It's just amazing. But we love your explanations because you
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: are a brilliant man. Jesse Weber. We appreciate you coming
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: on my friend News Nations chief Legal Analyst hosts of
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Jesse Weber Live. You could see him every week nine
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: at eleven. I appreciate you taking the time this morning.
- 1:06:56Speaker 12: Jess, thank you so much having me appreciate it.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: You bet it is Canbra's to win from Mark on
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: your Friday. When we come back, we'll take more of
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: your calls. The number to call is eight hundred three
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: zero seven ten for w OAR.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten wor
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Ken from Mark Today.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Here's Ken Roseatto. Nice to be with you on the
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: last two hour Mark Simone Show in the History of
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: the planet Earth and we go to Rick and New Jersey.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Good morning, sir, Hello, Rick. Hold on, okay, hold on,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: hang on, Hey is he? Why don't you and I
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: talked about Rick is Rick is?
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Rick is doing so? Rick? Is he dusting?
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: No?
- 1:07:34Speaker 14: No, I'm just in the car right now.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Okay, what's up Rick?
- 1:07:38Speaker 14: He had to swim over to the car. Yeah, this
- 1:07:40Speaker 14: is Rick from New Jersey. I just wanted to talk about,
- 1:07:44Speaker 14: you know, a few years ago when I got my son,
- 1:07:46Speaker 14: and when I went to Wayne, New Jersey and the
- 1:07:48Speaker 14: motor vehicles there and to get his driver's license. And
- 1:07:53Speaker 14: I noticed when I was going, you know, I was
- 1:07:55Speaker 14: in line and I was you know, he had had
- 1:07:57Speaker 14: passed his driver's test and everything else and was waiting
- 1:07:59Speaker 14: in line. And I watched as every applicant that went
- 1:08:03Speaker 14: to the desk was asked for a voter's registration. So
- 1:08:07Speaker 14: when I heard this all this news about you know
- 1:08:10Speaker 14: that it was a glitch or it was some software
- 1:08:12Speaker 14: or I'm like, now, this was intentional.
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: Every one of.
- 1:08:15Speaker 14: Those agents asked every applicant, and like you said before
- 1:08:19Speaker 14: on the radio about you know, they don't you know,
- 1:08:22Speaker 14: we had to get real ID. But now they have
- 1:08:24Speaker 14: a state ID and they use it, you know, I mean,
- 1:08:28Speaker 14: now it says not eligible for it. But this was
- 1:08:30Speaker 14: a few years ago. You know, they just used it
- 1:08:34Speaker 14: as regular id.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Of course, if you think that there wasn't an intention
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: to confuse the issue, you're crazy. This was absolutely the
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: intention to confuse the issue and then open the floodgates
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: and let twenty or thirty million people in. And where
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: do they all congregate. They didn't go to Republican states.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: They went to Democrat states, blue states, sanctuary cities, and
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: states where they could blend in their identification and then
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: end up voting. But more importantly, Rick, the most important
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: thing is their simple presence. Their simple presence allowed liberal
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: states that were losing population to red states to maintain
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: the number of Congress members because of the population. Remember,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: you don't have to be a citizen to count in
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: the census, and based on the census, you get assigned
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: numbers of Congress, and that is what the Democrats made
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: sure they did. But you're right, Rick, I appreciate it.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: I know that DMV that MVC as well. In Wayne,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Good morning, Russ and Harlem, you're on the air.
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: Thanks Ken, I really liked that with Jesse Weber and
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: I s Fall this show on Sundays. I really enjoyed that.
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: But what he said about the federal officients can't be prosecuted, well,
- 1:09:44Speaker 9: I mean, if the federal shoots his neighbor, that's a
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: state murder charge of it's not qualified immunity of something
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: illegal happens. But what I want to ask you, Ken,
- 1:09:53Speaker 9: I don't know. You don't remember in nineteen seventy five,
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: the FA Atlanta Puerto Rican group bomb Flaunce's taverns. I
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: remember the in paneled the Grand Juri in New York
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: and they subpoenaed a guy to testify who was just
- 1:10:05Speaker 9: at a meeting, and he refused to testify. They locked
- 1:10:07Speaker 9: them up for eighteen months. Couldn't they do that to
- 1:10:10Speaker 9: Fauci or maybe dead?
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: With Burke, Well, it's very I gotta cut you only
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: because we're out of time. It's very possible. I guess
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: you got to look at it from the state level.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: But then you gotta be careful because as a federal
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: employee there are certain immunities that you have automatically. That's
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: a very good question, Russ, and I appreciate it all right.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: That wraps it up for the last two hour Mark
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Simone show in History Starting Monday, Mark Simon will be
