Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Time for the 49ers Rush Podcast.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: and here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: What is going on faithful to 49ers come on on top, 24 to 14 and improved to 40.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: 40 for only the fifth time in franchise history had they had this start.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Unbelievable game in your playing against a top tier opponent.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: The Denver Broncos, they are the combat kids of the NFL.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: The graphics, if you were watching the broadcast, we're just this constant, oh, this is what the Broncos do.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: They come back in the fourth quarter.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: They come back in the fourth quarter.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's just what they do.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it seemed like it almost was heading down that stretch until it did it.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: You had the huge explosive to George Kittle, Jake Prendel with the lead block to free him on the huge explosive plan.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers come out on top.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: 24 to 14 the quality wins of this team.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: Despite the resiliency,
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: of all of the injuries or despite the injuries, the resiliency continues.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers continue to find ways to win.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it's always different.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, in this game, as there are never single game in the NFL, the injuries will continue.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: you hate it, Kyle use check, we'll have to see what that looks like.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about that a little bit more.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: You have marquee sequel, go down not once, but twice.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: You have up to and stout leave the game to come back.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: You have Drake Greenwell, go down not once, but twice.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: He comes back both times.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: But it doesn't matter the defense played an incredible game holding the Broncos to just 14 points and you were able to even went on special teams with even though you had a blocked kick even though you've got pinned inside the 10 several times like
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: The better team doesn't always win.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that the 49ers are by far the better team in this situation.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: But if you just switch that Debo fumble on the kickoff, which Brandon will have recovered, and then the punt return fumble by them, we're seeing the overrecovered, like those two plays, it's a different ball game.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: And if the Broncos and 49ers played each other 10 times, 49ers might win seven out of those 10, but they're still gonna lose some of those games.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: the ball bounced to 49ers way this time that that does and I say that not to
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: be little or to tear down with the Niners accomplished today.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: I say that because that doesn't usually happen during the Kyle's Shining Inn era, which now he's coached the more games than the Great Bill Wash, which is an accomplishment.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: But in this era, it has been a lot of calls against you, calls not bouncing me away whenever you get in those crucial moments, it just
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was not the case today.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: And in a season where you're already the most entertaining in the NFL, sometimes luck plays a factor.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think the 49ers were the better team, but whenever you are the better team, and you're at home, and the ball bounces your way, good things are going to happen.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: And you became out up to 10 points.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers get to victory and improve the four and up.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get to some of these super chefs.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, Tray?
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Love it.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: Masses in V-Pirty.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: Brock-Pirty continues to just stack quality play on quality play, on quality play.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: You look at a stat line.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a lot to be.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, boastful about 19 of 30, 218 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, no sex, 107.4 pass a ready.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like it is solid.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: That is a winning performance.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's not necessarily an MVP performance, but whenever you constantly stack these types of games, mind you the top five wide receivers on your depth chart to start the season are all injured.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Brock pretty just keeps doing things and getting through the reads that Brock pretty is able to get through and such a quick base consistently.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the thing you look at the touchdown past a debo he looks right reads one, two, three, then he's like, okay, I'll scramble, but keeps his eyes up.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'll just dump it out to debo on the flat uncovered that's 100% Brock pretty now the George kiddle touchdown play, which is the biggest stat.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: positive for Brock party.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't really do much, right?
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's just a screen catch and go.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: You hit the tunnel screen.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, like, that was the best step statistical play for Brock party.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: So the box square watchers aren't really getting the full story.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I did feel through the first kind of happiness in that this was the first time where the lack of wide receivers were a major issue for the 49ers offense.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: You had Jacob County not going in motion in the correct times.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: You had Jacob County running the wrong routes.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: Brandon Cooks was out there, but again struggling with all the pre-snat motions, not used to all of that and he's new to the system.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then what probably could have been a passenger affairs call, but it was a bang bang play.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a defensive guy.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think it was technically passenger affairs, but it could be called.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead, that catch on third down.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: So like you had, you know, Brandon cooks out there, wasn't a factor.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Jacob County definitely not a factor.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan Walken's not a factor, none of those were.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so, yeah, brought pretty.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: He just keeps solidifying winning football play.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: consistently against a great team the Denver Broncos are good now they started to suffer some injuries they had their two corners go out and it's like yeah that sucks.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: You still got about nine more injuries to go before you even close to the 49ers, but this is this is the stage of the NFL you are in in October if you if you watch the Eagles.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: and Rams play like the Rams won a game against the Eagles had, I think they lost like eight starters when that game was over.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: They barely eat out a win.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers win by 1 by 10.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: One by 10 against the Broncos who were in the AFC championship last year.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know, apologize for injuries.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, apologize for wins.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners controlled this game.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't down three, nothing at the start.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: But man, they found ways to constantly get back into the lead and into control of this game.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: And whenever it looked like the Broncos were coming back,
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, we're going to put that on the side burner, understand where you are.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is a 49er's game.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: This season just continues to go the way the 49ers wanted to.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ops, chat on some of them, Phil, hashtag CC, our defense, nearly let us down.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: See, and I see like on social media, I'm a lot of complaints about the defense.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just like, man, I don't know about that.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: You held them to under 300 yards.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: They went eight for 17 on third down.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: So under 50% on third down.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: You held them, you look at their rushing, which everybody talks about, 82 yards rushing, held them under 100 yards again.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: They have it's 3.7 yards per rush.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's incredible.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: You gave up and very few, I think there were two explosive past plays, maybe three, but that was it.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: Defense did everything that they needed to do to win.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: And if I had to give credit for this victory, I'm giving it to the defensive side above anybody else.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Defense, I thought, had the best game in your deal with injuries, right?
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Marky Seagulls down twice.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Drake Greenlaws down twice, up to the stouts down.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Jack Jones was probably the biggest weakness and the only touchdown that they scored was when up to the stout didn't play.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: What a difference up to the stout makes, right?
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: He gets out there and just shuts everything down.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: He comes off the field.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Jack Jones gets burned for not one, not two, but three plays on one drive and gives up to touchdown.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: But that's Jack Jones.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's the best player for the field of the worst.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so sadly, we've had two to three appearances.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: Week one, he was incredible.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was eight snacks, but he was awesome.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: But then weeks two, three, and four, he struggled.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of where it goes.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: But the defense, man, they answered.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: They answered the call.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you give up three points in the first quarter.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: You shut them out in the second and third.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: You give up 11 points in the fourth quarter.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it did start to,
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: been a little bit more feel.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: I do agree with you there.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you, man, love you.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're always in here and it makes me very happy.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Darren, my man, what's up?
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the super chat.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's freaking go for an O. I'll see you in doubt, dude.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot wait.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Dallas is going to be a good time.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be out there.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be an absolute blast.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: We've got all kinds of stuff going on this year.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: Dallas, a little ways away.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: Next week, man, we are close.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be in Seattle.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Ricky running waters Saturday from 49 PM.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: Then we have our all inclusive premium tellgate kids are free to all events go to 49ers rush road trip dot com get your tickets and if you can't come to Seattle We're going to be in Atlanta.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be in Dallas.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be in Mexico City and Los Angeles.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: Tickets are up to all of those events.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Please do not wait.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Please do not wait.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: But you get back to this idea and you're like, dude.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: the 49ers are 4 and 0.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: 4 and 0.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: And as you look across the NFL, like those undefeated teams, they are quickly disappearing.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: You had the Vikings barely beat to Miami Dolphins.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you've still got, you know, this game's still going on.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Did they finish the
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Did they finish the, what's it called?
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: The, yeah, Kansas City Chiefs won by three.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, we took Kansas City Chiefs plus two and a half.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: So we got that one.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: So the Chiefs just beat the Raiders and a close game.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: So the undefeated teams, there, you've got the Kansas City Chiefs who are the last undefeated team in the AFC.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: You've got the Minnesota Vikings and you've got the San Francisco 49ers.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: One of three teams.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: You have passed every single test so far.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: You've had four tests, you're four and a,
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: The injuries matter for sure, but you keep stacking these victories and they're gonna help pay the way into the playoffs because that is what this team is built for.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: That is a shenanian team can they execute in the playoffs and now that's your foreno, that's where you're looking.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so as you keep stacking these quality wins, you now have wins against the Rams at a neutral field.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have, you know, victory against the Broncos.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you count some cardinals.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you count the dolphins.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: But in your two games, you know, you don't make your schedule.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: The nighters are a top tier contending team period.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: And they keep finding new ways to win.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: You can blow teams out.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can win close ones like the Cardinals game or you can stay off a comeback.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: just heavy team like the Broncos and just keep them at bay.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so stacking those new ways to win games, I think that that is key.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: And quality teams find multiple ways to win games, footballs ugly.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: And today, like if you've got to watch any of the other NFL slate, right?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: There's so many close games and it's coming down to the last player, this player, whatever else.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Niners handle their business and it looked like the Niners game was going so much so to all these other one score games and it just didn't happen.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: It just did not happen and you like you look across just the NFL today like I want to open up just the scoreboard here.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: Man, the mount of one score games that took place, uh, Chiefs Raiders 1 score, Charger Seahawks 1 score game, um, Patriot Spill's 1 score, you had Jaguar's Bingo's 1 score, you had Ram's Eagles 1 score, Packers Bucks 1 score,
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: Titans Ravens one score Cowboys Titans one score Vikings dolphins one score.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: The sealers brown game earlier in Thursday.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's 10 one score games.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: There's only 16 games african week and there's still one more to go.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: 10 one score games this week.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: So we're not one of those.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners are one of the few teams.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: You have two 20 point wins.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: You have a 10 point win and a 6 point win.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners lead the NFL and point differential.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't expect that to change, you know, it's going to take a while to tell you all the whatever, but like the nighters continue to show that they are at increased roll team that can find different ways to win.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: Can't be five in all without four in a and man, you know, I don't want to look too much for we're going to do that to rest of this week.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: The Seattle CR's game is the biggest game on the schedule for the entirety of the year that is going to be huge.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to spend a lot of time on it.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: Just update real quick.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: I am still out of town for the weddings spending time with the in laws, which has been great.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm flying back to Marrow.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: But because of that, the film breakdowns just got to wait one more day.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Those will be done Tuesday and Wednesday will do an all-out effort, so we'll get the first half done Tuesday.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get the second half done a Wednesday.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: So those film breakdowns will be coming, but they won't be coming out Monday because I'll be flying.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: I got to have my double monitor and all whatever to break down the film stuff.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: So we will have a show tomorrow, which I'll do at the airport.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: won't get the film breakdowns until Tuesday.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry about that.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Traveling is just, it's the way it goes.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: Look at this S1K Friday.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the super chat.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: Your generosity legend, the defense bins, but doesn't break.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: And help is coming.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_01]: Valdez though, has he done enough to start?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I tweeted out that, man, Sebastian Valdez is just to get the job done guy.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: There's not a lot of like plays that are like considered highlights.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: He just, he stays in his gap.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: He is where his responsibility on the back end needs to be.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: He maintains his rushing lane.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: just consistent, like, consistently, consistent.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: If that makes sense, he had two tackles, one solo tack way, and one quarterback hit, neither team was able to affect the quarterback in any real way.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers finished with two quarterback hits, Keon White had one Sebastian Valdez had one, no sacks for either team, Brock continues,
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: This illustrious start to an NFL season where he's just not taking sacks, just no negative place, unbelievable.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Have to get credit to the 49ers offensive line, of course, but me and Sebastian Valdez.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: You had to have somebody step up with all these injuries to the defensive line you had to.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: And who was it gonna be?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Sebastian Valdez was the guy the whole.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: Love the guy, love the story.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: The consistency was always the issue, the lack of trace was the issue, and why he never got called up.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: But now, not only has he been elevated, he's on the 53 now.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: Will that stay?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I'm glad he's getting paid.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad he's putting out good tape on there.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: And now the 49ers are on a position where if you cut Sebastian, you might not get him back to the practice squad.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope he's here to stay on the 53.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: I love consistent tape.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: That is rare for the 49ers in the defensive tackle position.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he should be a starter.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get into the snap counts in the tape and all that stuff isn't allowed that to speak for itself.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, he's again just another one of those guys that just keeps freaking just doing what he's supposed to do all the time do your job.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Sebastian Valdez does that.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Scott, thank you so much for the super chat.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Fair weather fans pooping out anxiety on social media.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, social media is out of the man.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: Best to avoid game played out much like you predicted.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: We were pretty close, man.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I did have both the 49ers and Broncos scoring more in this game.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: This was a defensive battle to go into the half three to three.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: It just was an ugly offensive game that was dictated by the defense, and we get spoiled with Kyle Shanninghand.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: You really, really do, like, what, why don't you have 20 points at the half?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: What is wrong with you?
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: This was a weird game, and Shanninghand, you know, definitely said, I hated the play call of the quarterback Sneak on 4th and 2.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know it said 4th and 1 on the broadcast, dude, you could clearly see that was just
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Called a good game didn't have a lot of trust for the wide receivers.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of see why with Brandy Cooks with Jordan Walkins with Jacob Cowan and Mike Evans that dude is running around Grimmacene and pain and then walking to the sidelines after really not jogging Every step that man took was painful, but he's a damn gangster and he finished the game with five catches 76 yards in eight targets
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: There is nobody else you had depot who ended up with five catches which was good I think he fumbled three times, but we didn't lose any of those My Kevin's just so freaking good.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you have to credit that man.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: Just sheer will Just not caring about paying going out there and doing what he's got to do Right here, Steph, and how about brimmed or blocking on that kiddo play?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was awesome
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: It was in just got just enough of the guide to spring, kiddo free, they overload blitz, they bits blitz the beat and the backside sea gap overloaded.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, if you kick one out and the safety takes the bad angle, it's off to the races.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: We saw exactly that.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: What a play call from Shanahan loved it was perfect whenever you get the perfect play call offensively against what the defense is doing.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like a match made in heaven if they didn't blitz that play might have been two to three yards right, but it was a perfect play call whenever they were being so aggressive and you caught fans joy events jose advanced joy.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: just perfect.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, Jake Brindle, he had, he's adding highlights, right?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: We've had so many years of print know where there's just like a great pass protection gets the calls terrible running blocking that's going to show on the tape as well this week, but that play was incredible you have to give it to them 64 a plus man put the game on ice got just enough of the guy loved the effort the mobility getting out there hell yes hell yes got bills lost Sanford Cisco has the top offense well there we go.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the bills got beat by it's right me, and again, just further, one of my axioms, I do not bet on Josh Allen games because he's either all world or it's just weird as hell.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what it is.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, the 49ers put up 24 points.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not like they went ham offensively, but it was a controlled effort where they had to do what they, where they did what they had to do to win the game.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: want to bat off in some game, protected the ball, moved, moved up and down the field, had a couple sustained drives, run game was great.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably one of my biggest, you had a hundred yards rushing at the half for the 49ers.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: They finished with the 140 rush yards on 35 attempts.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, what did I say?
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: I want 35 plus attempts.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: I want Debo run in the ball.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: I want Caleb Black run in the ball.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: I want CMC run in the ball.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: I want all these guys running the ball.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: They fed into that.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was very clear early on.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: The game plan was established the run and they did that.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you only got four yards to carry.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: But if you ask yourself, hey, you're gonna run the ball 35 times for 140 yards.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: You take it every damn time.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: It is a matter who you're playing against.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't, because that means you're having sustained drives.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting first down, 49ers won the first down.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: So that was one of our best we covered that one.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: covered the spread covered the alternative line.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: So like we did pretty good.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: This this was a good betting week.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: We already cleared one of our teasers.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: We still have one leg out on another teaser.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: But we even had a free bet with deck press caught this week.

- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: I love this sin coming in.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: John, did we win on my book?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we did.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we did.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: We will keep stacking those, baby.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: We will keep stacking those.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: Look at this.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Pickle in the house.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, man?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: He says, let's go hashtag CC.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: Countdown crew, appreciate you all.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: John, you're the man.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: Keep it on, keep it on, bang, bang, baby.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk game balls.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there are three players that kind of stood out for me.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: That you have to talk about.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: obviously, like this offense does not work without him.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: He was in credit way through therapy passes.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: We bet Brock pretty under 31 and a half passes, so that one we kind of sweat it out a little bit, but we hit that one.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's able to manage this offense with the lack of weapons.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: And it just keeps going.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: It really, really does.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: Defensively, I'm going straight green law.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Plain against this former team, led the team and tackles had 12 tackles, seven stolo stops.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: Twice, early in the first quarter, he made a tackle close to the Denver Broncos sideline, calling out Sean Payton, letting that, their sidelines know just how intimidating that is.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: That dude put everybody on notice and went out and delivered.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: Plain hurt, practice once this week, had to leave the field twice, came back, just made place.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Want a perfect game?
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: But he was the tone center.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody in that Broncos uniform new, 57 was coming for you.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going, brought pretty.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Drake Green Law.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then here, this one, you guys might get mad at me here.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Brayton Willis.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Brayton Willis.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: you had, which could have been the biggest play of the game was Debo's fumble right to start to second half, like, but it changed everything.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: They would have got the ball in their own 20 art line, going into score, dude, Brad and Willis, Johnny on spot, recovers it.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: That was huge.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Then Kyle used to get hurt.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully he's okay that he didn't look good.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: I did see, you know, the broadcast few showed Kyle's face.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: After the injury, he's sitting there saying like, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, but Kyle, I don't think it's fine.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: I hope he's fine.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully it's okay, but he stayed out there too on the bench like he didn't go into the locker and he's like, I'm staying out here.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's tough as hell.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: That dude's just, he's awesome.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: But Brandon Willis comes in to deliver several key blocks.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the time they went all the way down the field and scored their long offensive setup touchdown drive.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: Because he had two touchdown drives.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: One of them is because of the special team's fumble recovery.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then you had this one that was the long drive, the link to the field.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Brandon Willis was in for half of that.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought he did really damn good and just stepped up.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: He made several special teams plays.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: So those are my three game balls.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Brock Perty.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Drake Green lawn.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going Brandon Willis and like if I had to do a fourth, which I usually only do three, my Kevin's.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Just how tough he was.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: It like there's a lot more players that you could throw in there.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: But those were the guys that just gave these
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: particularly in efforts to bring this W home for the 49ers and be for an O.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Look at this 49ers George.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: My man, thank you so much.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: You are a legend.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: Shanting hand started slow, but good play at the end.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: Good plays at the end.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: Gave counting at thumbs down.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: That is appropriate.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: They even try to get calorie involved, ran that trick play in the first quarter.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: And it was like second and two.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he got nothing like.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Again, what you got from Sebastian Valdez, you're hoping to get from the wide receiver position, and you just haven't gotten it.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: You had those two big plays from Jordan Walkins, which was cool.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: You got no targets in this game.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: He was out there a lot, but just the lack of trust at the wide receiver position just shows consistently in this game.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: And Mike Evans is going to be healthier next week.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to help out a lot.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think you're getting anybody really back for that seahawks game.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: But what we'll spend time talking about that.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, counting definitely stock down big time.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: Scott, thank you, man.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: Kittles and Gip from the football gods.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: He is unbelievable.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: I did, can't have a little bit whenever he lit up and extended the ball as the Broncos player was chasing him and gaining grounds.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: But do George Kittles, four catches 70 yards one touchdown, 56 yards on that screenplay
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: He just keeps getting the damn job done.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: He just keeps getting the job done.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: And you saw in the very first quarter, Patrick Sirtand was manned up with George Kittle.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: That shows you one, how great George Kittle is, coming off in the kill.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's adding something to be playing by this point.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: I said, week three would be the earliest where it week three, he'd been playing longer than that.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: But Patrick Surtin on George Kittle tells you how little they're scared of the wide receivers and Mike Evans is awesome But he's not playing a full snap rate and he's out there jogging, you know 80% of his routes still getting the job done But they're like, dude, this he's not going to be the steep George Kittle is we're going to put the best play on the Denver Broncos team Manned up with a tight end in his 30s coming off in the killies
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: George Kittle's different.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: He is not like, it means puppy adults in the NFL.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be very honest.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: Ben, thank you so much, appreciate you, man.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: Assume in our D-line studs are all healthy at the same time at the same point.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think our NASCAR package looks like personnel-wise?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, now you've got two guys, you can, you can't more than two guys that you can kick in.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: you're kicking in, Michele Williams, and then you're gonna have a mellow eye on the outside and then that third spot, this is something that we're not really used to.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: You'd see Shannon Hindu to NASCAR with 3DNs and one defense of tackle, who would be OSA?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: But you could go 4DNs because he on whites a hybrid.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're not technically sacrificing
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: that muscle on the inside.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: So you would have Bosa and Ramello hide on the outside, Michele and Keon white on the inside, and it's just like good lord.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: Throw Samo in there and he could fill in any one of those spots because he's versatile and just got that power rush.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: That would be pretty fun to see.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I say Ramello hide, he's the most frustrated in 49er player for me right now.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: falls down on his own on crucial plays, gets pancake consistently, so I'm driven off the ball, I think 12 yards by Garrett Bulls and just like put it in a suitcase and shipped out of the freaking stadium.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: At some point, you can't get manhandled continuously week after week after week now I'm hoping that the tape will make me feel better
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: about what he does.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: He finished with two solo tackles.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: That was it.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, we'll see about pressures and stuff when we get to the tape and when the analytics come out.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, man, don't have a lot of confidence built up in what Remelo Heights, the rookie has done.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's that not look good.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not so much that he hasn't looked good.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: There are plays where he
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know, 94, I get it, he's tough, he's playing with the club on his hand.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: I like that, Patrick Willis should be proud.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it hasn't been good, man.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: It just hasn't been good.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: It hasn't been effective, but you don't have anybody else.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: You got a plan.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's out there starting because you just don't have other guys.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: You just don't.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: Scott, thank you so much again, man.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: Rams looked weak against the helpless Eagles.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: They almost lost that game.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: And like the Eagles, they just, they look putrid, man.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: And they still almost won.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Stafford just don't pick like nobody's business and there could have been two more picks out there.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: As of we for brought, brought clearly has to pass Stafford, no sacks, no intercept.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: He has one pick.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: Stafford throws as many interceptions as touchdowns.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, staff would like the the Rams don't look good.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: They really, really don't.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so they're eakin' out wins against other hobbled teams.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: But a win on the road is a win on the road, no doubt about it.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, if you watch that Rams game, there's no way you walk away from this saying, you know, this is a good football team.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: They were not a good football team.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: They have a lot of explosive players.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then they make a lot of explosive plays, but consistency is not one of them.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of entries, a lot of mistakes, a lot of turnovers.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: just a lot of issues there.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: Now if they jail, that's a different story, right?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: So like they have playmakers at all levels of offense and defense.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: There's no doubt about that.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: But this is the most injured that they have been since they've only been that injured once since Sean McVase there and they didn't make the playoffs.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Every other time they've been top 10 healthiest team in the NFL, they are not this year, but yeah, I'm walking away from this, just saying, yeah, like the Rams obviously, if they get hot at the right time, they're two and two now and you know, if you want to update just kind of the NFC West standings, you've got the $40 on first place at four and oh, you have the Seattle Seahawks behind them at three and one.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: You have the Rams at 2 and 2 and you have the Arizona Cardinals who should have won that game at 1 and 3.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's the way it shakes out and you look at the divisional record, which is the most important.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers are 2 and 0.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Seattle Seahawks are 1 and 1, Rams are 0 and 1 and the Cardinals are 0 and 2.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have more division wins than all three teams combined times 2.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: like you have a chokehold on the division.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's October and that can change very quickly.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: You win next week at Seattle, which is going to be difficult.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: But if you do that, man, it now it's like, okay, 5 and 0, 3 and 0 on the division, having wins against all three of your division opponents.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a two and a half game lead.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: This game coming up, guys.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: It is
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: it's everything.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: It really, really is.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: It just it matters so much.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I do agree here that Seattle is still kind of the team to beat for sure.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're defending Super Bowl champions.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: You got blown out the last time that you were up there.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to go answer.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Can you put up offensive anything?
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: against that defense.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you got to see.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see what that looks like for sure.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_01]: A couple other things that I just want to look through.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Rush flies.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that this was, you know, Caleb Black look good.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: He got six carries 13 yards, but he had 2.2 yards per carry.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: His vision is not what CMC is, but I do like that they gave him more carries.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: Now, CMC at the same time shot at the moment, Mark says CMC way too many to yard carries.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: CMC had 15 carries for 52 yards, not great.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: That Debo Samuel running at three rush attempts for 44 yards.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: That was awesome.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: I want Debo to get more carries, but he fumbles the ball so damn much.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, we can't do that too much more.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: They even pulled them off one play on kick off a turn like dude.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're we're going to we're not going to put you out there.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: You got to protect the ball a little bit better.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: Debo is currently leading the NFL and drop percentages ball security.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like you got to fix it.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that one he fumbles and he's jogging off laughing.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just like, too, that's not the right message.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to like be so lin and whatever your Debo, you get it your pro, but like two don't laugh after you fumble the ball.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I don't know if it kind of bothered me a little bit and yeah, so right here like at what point are you going to start kidding guys back healthy.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious to see what Brad and Will is going to look like because I think he's going to be around for a little bit, but the offense and with him getting all the reps with the ones, we'll see, is he call you check?
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, absolutely not.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like how's check, how you check was like will eventually be a Hall of Famer, most fullbacks don't get in, but his accolades are incredible and, you know, that catch that he made was awesome and it just does all the same things consistently.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I'm curious to see what it's going to look like but Braden will us down there.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: Really do.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: Right here, Braden's table puts us on his back way too often for slander.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think it's slander.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's factually is leading the NFL and drop percentage.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: He does have a lot of negative plays, but that's who the table's been.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think a slandering him, but I mean, the 49ers pulled them off of the pointer, not me.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: They did put them back out there.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so it will see what that looks like.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: It will just have to wait and kind of see, you know, how that is.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, this this game was awesome.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: And the 49ers just keep finding ways.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to say, and like, I can't wait.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: This
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: the way the 49ers won differently is why keep getting excited because she can't always just, oh, we're just going to move up and down the field and score on five consecutive possessions.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: In the playoffs, you play against these solid, stout defensive teams with quality and run games where you can't do that.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pumped to get to the tape to try to figure out how they did this and how sustainable it is.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't, if you want to learn, there's only one place to go.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_04]: I paint until I really see the tape.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: But you got to see the tape to really see what it looks like.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: But then I'll see it close from the film.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: The things that we still take, the things that we require.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_04]: I hope you look the same on tape.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_03]: Get better from the tape, but before we're hoping that's some good film on those guys.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_03]: And we'll get to those things we got on the plane.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: If the 49ers coaches and players have to watch the tape, what do you think you need to do?
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, guess what?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: We got the tape.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers rush.com and our Patreon channel, patreon.com slash 49ers rush podcast.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: We have every offensive defense and special teams play outlined in all 22 and in zone coaches' tape to go through and show you play by play.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: What this guy did wrong?
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: What this guy did right?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: Who was wrong?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: Who was right all those things?
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's way better than just grades or anything you got.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: Trust me.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: Once you sign up, you get it all.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: Seven day free trial right now.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: Plus we have monthly zoom hangouts.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: We place our monthly bets, weekly bets, season long bets all on there.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to be a better fan, you want to understand football better.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: Guess what?
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers rush.com is the place to go.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: All right, um, we do have some new updated information.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Kyle Shenan said that he, it appears that Kyle used checks and he is a spring.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: One, they let him walk off the field.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: That was nice.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: He said he was all right, which never really, the adrenaline that goes through your body after an injury.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: You're not, you're not the best to give the diagnostic, whatever.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: In the fact that he was still on the sidelines sitting down, of course, but.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: Death promising.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_01]: So Marky Seville's got an ankle and a shoulder up to the start as a shoulder but he came back in.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: So all three of those are going to begin MRIs tomorrow according to Kyle Shiningin.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's huge because this would be the least to this point, injuries always pop up after the game is over and we don't find it about it.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: I found out about it until Wednesday, but
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but somebody's like mysteriously appears on the entry port and they're like, hey, what happened to so and so it's like, oh, y'all heard the game like that always happens, but across my fingers, this might be one of that healthiest outcomes.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: So far this season, which is something to be celebrated with this team.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: because the entries are going to continue until morale improves.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, shout out to Jerry Greenlaw.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I just love it.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: Fred Warner was incredible.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: I probably want to Fred's hardest hits.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: I can't fit tight in.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what tight in it was that he hit, but he's very that dude in the ground.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: Fred Warner, he was in and out of the blue tint.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't know if it was cramps or what, but he was slow to get up a few times, but he didn't miss a lot of plays.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: He was out there.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Garrett Wallow did get some snaps.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how much of that is.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're trying to kind of rotate a little bit.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: Drake Greenlaw, or if they're just trying to protect kind of what's going on there with, you know, Drake Green.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but Greenlaw,
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: looked awesome.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think everybody can kind of agree like, where would the 49ers be without depost Samuel and Drake Gringo?
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: Where would they be?
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: don't know what this offense or defense would look like at this point with all the injuries.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: You have all the defensive line injuries in the run game is permeable, but it's getting the job done.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's getting the job done.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: You held them in Thunder 4 yards for carry.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: Under 100 yards total.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: That is
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome, with what she got to work with because of the linebackers.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: Because of the safety, Jair Brown, I think he played really well.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: Lots of good tackles, really good coverage, even on the trick play, the flea flicker he kept his depth against the post player, like to Jair Brown played well.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now it can stop the play incredibly well.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if Marky Seagull is going to miss time, that rotating of safety is that they've been doing on the back end when Cherry Gray, that's huge because now you've just plugged Seagull out now you're not changing pace.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're not changing pace.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's so, man, and then you look at Teebo Samuel.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's helping in special teams.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's helping in the run games, helping in the past game.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: You got all these wide receivers hurt.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: He goes out there and gets five catches.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: You love that.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of them just on check downs and whatever else.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: Man, the Broncos made a concerted effort to take away the middle of the field in this game and the past game.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: So what do you do?
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: Hook to Curls.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: You just start hitting those quick outlets and Broncos, like do it, I'll take 40 yard check down.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's no big deal.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: No big deal consistently.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, I...
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I saw this too.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: It was Zach Allen, number 99, who blocked the field goal.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: Carver Willis, let him just walk right across his face and in touch him on that extra point.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll go through it in the tape.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: But Carver Willis, it was his fault.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: But on long field goals like that,
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: you have a lower trajectory, you have a longer wind up.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: So the timing tempo isn't as quick.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: The block percentage rate goes up tremendously, but I'll have to go through the tape and see if it was a low kick, but 100% Carver Willes did do his damn job.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, man.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: But Sonya, did I see someone talking craft to Brock?
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was Zach Allen, who's a damn good player.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: He tried to sack Brock and Brock like weasel down and kind of did his Brock thing and Brock just kept talking back to him and how did that turn out for you, buddy?
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: How did that turn out for you, buddy?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: How did that turn out for you, buddy?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: I love I love the way this team is.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: Love Brock, pretty.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: Love Fred, one, there's so many guys where you
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, and right here, King Clientel, our resident safety expert, that special teams Fumble recovery was huge, that Serenil made last week, Serenil was the obitross, right?
- 43:06[SPEAKER_01]: That turnover allowed the Cardinals to get back into the game.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: This week, that was the first touchdown drive for either team and just how quick, you know, the wrist, verse the forearm, this hits the ground, it's a Fumble, this hits the ground,
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: The game of inches, sometimes the ball got to bounce your way.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: I love that Serenil, had the huge positive after the last week.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it's about.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I got you guys.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get you back.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get you back.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: And Serenil did that.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: That was huge.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: Probably the most important play of the game.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: That are the kiddo touchdown.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the two biggest plays of the game.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: Those are them.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: And usually in football games, you can pick kind of three to five plays.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: that tell the story in the outcome, dude, it takes two, two plays, the pop return, fumble, recovered by Sierra Nill, and that George Kittle, huge 50 plus yard scamper.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the ones, those are the ones.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why the 49ers are 4 and 0.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: For only the fifth time in franchise history, if you are a 49ers fan, you should be so site about where they are right now.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: head into rivalry week, baby, on the road in Seattle.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: Don't party with us.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: Comp Party with Ricky Waters, it's gonna be awesome.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's gonna do it for us today.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: Enjoy this victory, talk to your trash at work tomorrow, talk to your trash.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are the best in the world.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for allowing me to do this.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: For spending time with me, I love this.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: And you guys are awesome.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: And how do you not love this team?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go, baby.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a celebration.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: Until next time, stay strong, faithful.
