- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome back to the Conscious Mastery Podcast.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I am Crystal Ward, your host, intuitive energy healer, and life coach, and today we are gonna talk about really the most important topic.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: If you are a human being on planet Earth, then this topic, if you can run with it, it will change your whole life.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: It will change if you have a business, it will change your business, it will very much change your relationships.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Uh not just your relationship with maybe a romantic partner, your husband, your wife, but your siblings, your parents, your children, your bosses, your co-workers, any relationship in life ever.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: It is yeah, it is the most important thing that you could really hone in on and turn up the volume in your life.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: The topic is drum roll, please, as my seven-year-old says about everything, self-love.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: You might have ideas of what self-love looks like for you.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: However, most people have at very, very low levels of actual actually implementing self-love into their life.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So this kind of self-love isn't like, oh, I'm so proud of myself, oh I I appreciate how far I've come in life, I've done healing, I I love myself.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I love myself.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: This is actually the kind of self-love that is going to get the world to prioritize you.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: I have given you this example before, but it is just it is the one where I actually learned this way, this way to love myself and had the most profound experience on my business and my relationships.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: So I've talked to you about the creator field as well, but if you are new here, the trying to keep it two minutes.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: The creator field is the energetic field that is radiating off of your body at all times.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: It includes your thoughts about yourself, your beliefs about yourself, um, the actions you take that then create perceptions about yourself.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: So if you're somebody who says they're going to go to the gym and then they actually go to the gym, like do you follow through with yourself?
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Are you prioritizing yourself?
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Which is the part of this creator field that we're gonna get into.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: That is that acts like a script.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Your creator field is what creates your life.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: So it creates the circumstances that you experience in life, it creates the situations and it controls how people behave with you.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I I used to get some, I guess you would call it attention or whatever, or you know, people coming up to me in public or turning their head to look at me, not in like a a sexual way, but in the way of just receiving receiving attention, right?
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: People attention is attention is something that we can't give to everything at all times.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: So if somebody turns their head to look at you, then you know that something in your energy is creating that person to turn their head to look at you.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: So when you are feeling like you are not receiving the kind of energy you want from the world, for example, your partner to you want to feel like your partner is really cherishing you and respecting you and valuing you, for example, then you would want to look at how you would look at you know what's written in my creator field is you would ask yourself, okay, how on what level to what degree am I valuing and respecting and cherishing myself?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: So this is why self-love is so important.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: And the example that I mentioned that I've given before, again, if you're new here, the most the like when I learned this was when I had my first one-on-one with my intuition teacher and mentor, and his sessions are-I mean, he's been doing this for for decades.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: So his sessions are not dirt cheap, I'll say.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: So I have them far and few between, and they are always extremely, extremely profound and life-changing.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: And the first one I had, I came to him because I had my business for five years.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: I was really struggling to sign clients consistently.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: I would get them here and there.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: They always wanted discounts.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: It was just, it was, I was like, I'm working way too hard for this to continue to be my reality.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: So he told me that my level of self-love, the kind of self-love I'm going to talk about in this episode, it was at 11%.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: What I've learned is that can actually be pretty high for people who are here on the planet to help others because we oftentimes put other people's needs above our own.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: I'm sure, sure that you can think of an example where you did that in your lifetime and probably even pretty recently, whether it is our children or our partner or somebody at work or whatever it is, you know, um a client that you it's like they say in someone on one of my workshops recently put it this way and was like, that's exactly it, is on even on the airplane, they tell you put your oxygen mask on before you put on your child's oxygen mask.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And the point is because we are better able to help other people when we can breathe, when our oxygen mask is on, when we when we have filled up our cup first.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So the example from that session, he told me I was at 11% self-love.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: He said I was not prioritizing myself.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And with intuition, you can look in on the specific area of life where this, we call them reflections, where this reflection is coming from.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: So the area of life that I put the most time and effort into was my vocation, was my business.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Therefore, this reflection was actually rooted in another area of life.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It was physical at the time.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I kept telling myself I was gonna go to the gym or work out, but instead of doing that, I prioritized my vocation.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Instead, I was like, uh, no, I just need to work on my business.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: So the reason my business wasn't doing so hot was because I wasn't prioritizing these other areas of life that I told myself I wanted to prioritize.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: So my higher self was like, Well, she's spending all her time in vocation.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: We know that we can get her attention here.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So we are going to make her not get what she wants in this, which is clients, potential clients prioritizing her.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And she's going to see that the why these pri these potential clients aren't prioritizing her.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Where so then she can look where she's not prioritizing herself.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: And I hadn't heard this concept before, reflections I had, but I hadn't heard that put to a particular area of my life until I had my session with him.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: So he gave me a way that I'm gonna share with you today on how to prioritize myself and get my self-love numbers up so that I could receive more prioritization from potential clients, relationships, and just the world in general.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: After I implemented this, I went from that inconsistency I talked about to the following six months.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: I made more in my business than I had made the five years previous, like combined almost.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: So this stuff works, and I it's funny, I got a read.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm in intuition training.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: I've taken a few of my mentor Alessandro's classes at Guided Light Healing.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: If you are interested in mastering your intuition, there's no better school on the planet.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I I just already know this.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And so we do practice reads for each other all of the time as we're building our skill sets and our toolboxes.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: So I had someone do a read for me today, and I was on my way home from the craziest place that you could ever be on the weekend, which was Costco.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And I was like, all right, I want to go home and record a podcast.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: It's been a minute.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: What do I want to record it on?
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: And immediately I heard self-love.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: So I was like, okay, I haven't actually made an episode on this, so I'm gonna do that.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And then um a read came in from someone who was doing a practice read on me.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: I don't even remember the question I gave her, but it the read was about uh was about continuing to increase my levels of self-love.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And she even gave me this example I'm gonna give you that I already knew, but that was the it was just such bizarre timing, and I was like, okay, I know that clearly I need this message right now.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Clearly, my higher self gave my friend that information in that read because I was supposed, I'm supposed to double down on all of this, and I was like, great, that is the coolest kind of confirmation that because I need this, I know that some of you listeners out there, probably all of you, because I know you've got big hearts and I know that you are constantly helping other people and wanting to change the world in your unique way.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: I know that this is going to be helpful for you too.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: So you can probably guess by now, you can probably imagine that I've talked about the creator field, how we are being with ourselves is how other people will be with us.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: So I was not prioritizing myself, meaning potential clients were not prioritizing me.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: They wanted it.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: I wanted to go to the gym, I talked about going to the gym, they wanted to work with me, they talked about working with me, but they weren't actually following through with the action.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: So I had to start prioritizing myself.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And I did.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: I started going to the gym, and like I said, everything changed.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: So, what you can do, the first and really easiest way to start increasing your levels of self-prioritization so that the world prioritizes you back is whenever you are going through a transition state in your day.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: So if you are going from the house to the car, from the car inside the grocery store, you are going to pick up your kid from school, you are going to give somebody a phone call.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Stop in the moment in that transition state and ask yourself, what can I do right now for myself?
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: What do I need right now?
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: And the example my friend gave in the read she did for me that I listened to today was if you get in the car, you know, when you get in the car, what do you need?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: Do you need to just take a big deep breath?
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: And then I took it further in my mind.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, maybe I need to have some water to take a sip from my water bottle, or do close my eyes and you know, clear my energy a bit, get myself, you know, ready for the drive.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: The one of the examples that my mentor gave me in my session that I'm gonna give you, it was pretty funny, but it really paints the picture.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Was he said, your partner is in the other room and they are moving a piece of furniture and they're like, come here, come quick, like come help me.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And you go, Okay, I need to get a drink of water first so that I can have so that, you know, my if I needed water, right?
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have the water before I go in there so that I make sure I can clearly communicate, you know, there's nothing stuck in my throat or you know, dust in my throat or a cough or whatever that needs to happen, so that I can clearly communicate if I'm need to yell something while we're moving this piece of furniture, you know, so that it doesn't smash their foot or my foot.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: So that that's a funny, extreme example, but it but it shows you that they're in every moment, like we we always jump to okay, this person needs me, let me go immediately to them rather than filling our cup first so that we can best support them.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: And another example he gave was if you're going to pick up, if you're going to drop your friend off at the airport, they need to get to the airport by a certain time, are you gonna take them when your gas tank is empty, or are you going to fill up on gas on the way there?
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Because that is not only going to, you know, get you where you need to go, but that filling up on gas is going to get that person, you're gonna make sure that you get that person to the airport rather than going on an empty tank.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: So how this how this has presented itself in my life is uh certain certain situations where I where I'm noticing, oh, I could easily not do something for myself first, um, and then I do something for myself first in these moments, these are kind of what I'm gonna give you right now.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: So a big one is messages from clients.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: For some reason, I always feel like if a client messages me, whether it's a text message or on Instagram or Facebook or wherever Telegram, that I think it's like this immediate, this thing that has to get an urgent thing that has to get taken care of and prioritized immediately.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: I'm sure there's some underlying belief there, you know, like I can only feel special if I'm doing going above and beyond for my clients.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: So what I did today, I had messages on Instagram and a message on Instagram and a message on my text.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: And I got home, and this was after like running a bunch of errands, grocery shopping at two different places.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to be home.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, I just needed to get inside and um and I wanted to eat.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: I was so so so hungry.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: So I thought, okay, well, these messages, it will be super easy to just read them and reply real quick and you know, get to the clients.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: But I was like, no, I I was like, Crystal, you're about to record an episode on prioritizing yourself and self-love.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Like you really need to put your like walk the talk, and I do, I always try and walk the talk, but I was like, this is just funny timing.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: So I decided to cook my food and eat my food first before even looking at the messages.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: And I know you you don't have to have a business to understand you know this whole communication thing.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: There, for example, I was getting a call earlier.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: I was about to walk into the coffee shop so I could pick up my I I brought coffee from home, but it was old coffee from the fridge, and it just tasted like I don't know, it tasted like alcohol.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: It was really weird.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: I know there was no alcohol in it, but I was like, this is disgusting.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go treat myself to a coffee before running all these errands and having to brave Costco on a Sunday afternoon.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: And this the or we're looking for a new lawn care provider, and he's calling me right as I'm unbuckling in my seat, going into the coffee shop, and I felt in my body, like I didn't feel expansive.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: You can either feel expansive in a situation or contracted.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I felt really contracted, and I was like, oh my gosh, I have to answer right now.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Um, but I want to get in there.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: I also had to pee, so I was and then I was like, no, I'm going to prioritize myself.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go to the bathroom, get my coffee, get back in the car, and then I can call him back, handed up, just texting me instead, which I much prefer anyways these days.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: I think we probably not alone there.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: So situations like that where you where it feels urgent, the outside world, what they need right now from you, feels urgent, and we feel like, you know, you might feel like, oh, I'm a bad person if I don't answer them right now, or I don't want to keep anyone waiting because I have a bleeding heart, and I just want everyone to be so comfortable and happy when they when it comes to me.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: But that if I had answered the phone, he would have felt the stress in my voice.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: He would have picked up on my energy that I actually did not want to be talking to him right now, and I do not think that would have been a great first impression of a a business transaction, a new business relationship.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: I would much rather him get the version of me that didn't have to pee, wasn't in the middle of unbuckling and walking out of the car and trying to get something done real quick.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: So we think that answering the phone in that moment is good for them, but it's actually not helpful for them.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Because what if I'm an incredible client for him, but he didn't get that version of me, you know, he could tell that I didn't want to be on the phone with him.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: He might not want to do business with me.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: He would feel that energy.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: So so yeah, so it's it's beneficial not only for us, because I'll get to pee, I'll get to do what I was there to do, but it's beneficial for them as well.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: It's always beneficial for other people when we prioritize ourselves because they get the better version of us.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: That is that should sum it up.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: If you have any questions on this, um, send me an email.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: And I would actually like to know what area of your life do you feel like you do not prioritize yourself as much?
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think a common answer would be the kids and the partner and work.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And how do you think, what do you think the first step to starting to prioritize yourself more?
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: Like what moment of the day would it be most helpful for you to start implementing this?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: So, not like I don't want to encourage you to get off this episode.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: I actually that would be great.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Get off the episode and like try and do this as much as you can.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: That could actually work, but I think for a lot of people, this the thought of like all transition moments in the day could feel overwhelming.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: So I want you to go from this episode and pick one today after this.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: So between now and the time you go to bed, pick one situation where you are going to decide to do something for yourself first in between the transition moments.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: So what maybe you're about to go cook dinner.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: What could you, or a meal, what could you do for yourself before cooking that meal for the rest of the house?
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: Or what can you do for yourself before you get the kids' bedtime routine started?
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: If it's anything like my child's, it's about an hour from the moment we decide to get ready for bed to like the teeth and the potty and the PGs and the stories and the chit-chat before bed and the like tucking in and all of that.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: So, what what can you do for yourself?
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't have to be a long time, it doesn't have to be five or ten minutes, it can be like a minute or less, right?
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: How long does it take for you to sip a sip a from a glass of water?
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Not that long.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: So plan plan your self-love transition period for after this episode.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Email me, let me know how it goes.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: It's K R Y S T A L at Crystal Ward W A R D dot com.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: And we will talk soon.
