  Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  Welcome back. My name is Angel Santana, And this week, we're taking a few extra

  minutes each morning as we prepare our hearts for Palm Sunday.

  On Monday, we talked about making room for Jesus.
• 1:33
  Yesterday, we talked about trusting God when He doesn't show up the way we expect.

  So today, I want to talk about something that can be very hard to do.

  Praising God before the breakthrough.
• 1:46
  Most of us can praise when things go right.
• 1:50
  We praise when the prayer gets answered we praise when the door opens we praise
• 1:57
  when the problem goes away we praise when life finally makes sense.

  Palm Sunday shows us something different. The people shouted,
• 2:08
  Hosanna, Hosanna, before anything changed, before the cross,
• 2:14
  before the resurrection, before the victory.
• 2:17
  They praised him while life was still uncertain.
• 2:21
  In Mark 11, verse nine, it says, Hosanna, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

  They were celebrating, even though they didn't fully understand what was about
• 2:34
  to happen. And that's where faith comes in.
• 2:37
  Faith means trusting God before you see the outcome.
• 2:40
  Faith means believing God is working, even when you don't see the results yet.
• 2:46
  Faith means praising Him while the situation is still hard. And let's be honest, that's not easy.
• 2:54
  It's hard to praise when you're worried. It's hard to praise when you're tired.
• 2:59
  And it's hard to praise when the prayer hasn't been answered yet.

  Sometimes all you can think is, Lord, I don't feel like praising right now.
• 3:09
  That might be the moment you need the most.
• 3:13
  Because praise changes something inside of us. Praise reminds us that God is still in control.

  Praise reminds us that the story isn't over.
• 3:23
  Praise reminds us that what we see right now is not the end.
• 3:28
  The people on Palm Sunday praised Jesus, even though the road ahead was going to be very difficult.

  They didn't know the full story yet, but they trusted enough to shout Hosanna anyway.

  And maybe that's the message we need today.
• 3:45
  You don't have to wait until everything is perfect to praise God.
• 3:48
  You don't have to wait until the problem is gone.
• 3:51
  You don't have to wait until the answer comes and you don't have to wait until life feels easy.

  You can praise him right now, right in the middle of the struggle,
• 4:01
  right in the middle of the waiting, right in the middle of uncertainty.

  Because sometimes the breakthrough comes after the praise.
• 4:10
  Sometimes the strength comes after the praise. Sometimes the peace comes after the praise.

  Not because praise fixes everything, but because praise reminds us who's in charge.

  So as we get closer to Palm Sunday, I wanna challenge you to do something today.

  Even if life feels heavy.
• 4:32
  Even if things aren't going the way you hoped, even if you're still waiting
• 4:36
  for an answer, take that moment and thank God anyway.

  Thank him for waking up and waking you up. Thank you, Lord, for waking me up. Think about that.

  Thank him for carrying you this far. Thank you, Lord, thank you.

  And thank him for the strength you didn't know you had.

  Thank him for the blessings you don't see yet. Praise be before the breakthrough.

  Praise God is still working, even when you don't see it. Let's pray.

  Lord, help us learn to praise you even when life is hard. Help us trust you
• 5:13
  when the answer hasn't come yet.

  Give us faith to believe that you are working behind the scenes and give us
• 5:20
  the strength to keep us going while we wait.

  Teach us to praise before the breakthrough. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
