- 1:27Speaker 3: did you expect. It's a podcast call twenty five whistles
- 1:31Speaker 3: twenty wine.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to the show, Eddie Bowl to whistle right, Welcome, Welcome.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'll talk about spitting for a second, which there was
- 1:39Speaker 1: a player ejected, the Oregon player was ejected this last week.
- 1:43Speaker 1: But spitting's interesting though, because how do you know like
- 1:46Speaker 1: you're not just like talking, you have a loogi aggressive late, Well,
- 1:50Speaker 1: lugi is different. Yeah, that hot two going Yeah, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: it was a big It is a big spit and
- 1:55Speaker 1: the referee saw the spit. But I bet there's a
- 1:58Speaker 1: lot of spitting going on that you can't really tell
- 2:00Speaker 1: the difference, especially in close. If you're gonna spit on somebody,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you need to make sure your helmets are already really
- 2:06Speaker 1: close together so it's not seen in between helmets. That's
- 2:09Speaker 1: what I adviuse my players not to not spit.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah, but can't you tell the ref like, look, look
- 2:15Speaker 4: it's on my face. He spit on me, and then
- 2:17Speaker 4: you show him where he spit on your face.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You'd be such a loser to tattletale. I wouldn't want
- 2:22Speaker 1: anybody to spit on anybody, but it does happen a lot.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But the kid that was kicked off because he was
- 2:28Speaker 1: an Oregon player, Yeah, wide receiver. He spit from too
- 2:31Speaker 1: far away, and the trajectory of the spit was so
- 2:35Speaker 1: hard that obviously it was purposeful spit. You got it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Your helmets have to be close to each other, no
- 2:42Speaker 1: hang time, Yes, spit, there should be no gap, Like
- 2:45Speaker 1: if you're gonna spit, first of all, don't spit.
- 2:47Speaker 2: But you're saying, if you're gonna spit, don't get busted,
- 2:49Speaker 2: And that's.
- 2:50Speaker 1: How not to get busted. You're from me to you, ediot,
- 2:53Speaker 1: don't no, that's too that's too far away. You would
- 2:56Speaker 1: know I'd purposefully spit on you. Yes, and if you
- 2:58Speaker 1: spit on someone purposefully, you should be kicked out. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 1: it's really hard to know if someone spit on someone
- 3:05Speaker 1: purposefully unless they're far and there's heavy projection and it
- 3:10Speaker 1: was so this was an easy one. No, but what
- 3:12Speaker 1: you do as you walk up closer to them talk crab.
- 3:14Speaker 5: And spit and the guy had a visor that didn't help.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but again, you can spit on somebody even if
- 3:25Speaker 1: you don't mean to, and there s will be a
- 3:26Speaker 1: lot of spit on them.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Sure.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Right, it's a hard one to call. It's a judgment call.
- 3:30Speaker 2: And to spit me like through a face mask is
- 3:33Speaker 2: pretty impressive.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Not really, because if you just spit it's gonna go throughed.
- 3:37Speaker 1: He never wore a face mask, That's not true. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: wore a face mask in like nineth.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I played football.
- 3:42Speaker 1: No, if you spit anybody.
- 3:44Speaker 2: No, I never did. Man, I was respectful in the game.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Some of it's gonna it's hard to spit on from
- 3:48Speaker 1: the sideline and other people. I was on the bench, man,
- 3:53Speaker 1: know what you're saying standing on the sideline.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Yeah, they wouldn't let me sit and nobody because he sat,
- 4:01Speaker 4: you had to play to sit.
- 4:02Speaker 5: So nobody sat. It didn't matter.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you come off the field, you sit.
- 4:06Speaker 1: No, you never, almost never.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Sometimes the lineman to sit down and get you coached up,
- 4:10Speaker 5: and that's it.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but it's not like basketball, where you sit.
- 4:14Speaker 1: There's no you come off the side and you take
- 4:15Speaker 1: a seat.
- 4:16Speaker 4: One time, I was just tired of standing, and I
- 4:18Speaker 4: got a water ball and I sat, and the coach
- 4:20Speaker 4: saw me.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He's like, you haven't even played.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Get you understandable? But I would say mostly unless yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 1: unless you're sitting, you're a little bit hurt, or you're
- 4:32Speaker 1: getting coached, and everybody said you don't sit, you still stand.
- 4:35Speaker 5: I think about that when I watch like NFL games
- 4:37Speaker 5: now and they just throw a hat and sit on
- 4:39Speaker 5: the bench, I'm like, dang, like I never got to
- 4:41Speaker 5: do that.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Well, we don't make millions of dollars in high school, though,
- 4:44Speaker 1: you don't just go sit on down.
- 4:45Speaker 5: No.
- 4:46Speaker 4: You know what else I thought about the spitting thing
- 4:47Speaker 4: was like he was so mad that he walked in
- 4:49Speaker 4: the tunnel when he got ejected and through his helmet.
- 4:52Speaker 4: And after talking to so many athletes that you know,
- 4:55Speaker 4: maybe not college level, but the pro guys have to buy.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Their own helmets.
- 4:58Speaker 4: So now when I see a pro athlete throw their helmet,
- 5:01Speaker 4: I'm like, that is commitment because you're gonna have to
- 5:03Speaker 4: pay for that now.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And if you broke it, buy a new one.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Point I think you might get one or two free.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Fix the first ones, yeah, because if you break it,
- 5:13Speaker 1: obviously they might make you buy a new one because
- 5:16Speaker 1: you're using it to perform for what they're paying you
- 5:20Speaker 1: to do. There's something about that. Jerseys are different unless
- 5:24Speaker 1: it's like, as I ripped your jersey, you'll get a
- 5:26Speaker 1: new jersey. Yeah, but if you give it away, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: give it away and give it away, give it away now. Yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 1: so there are roles on that, but yeah, college, I'll
- 5:34Speaker 1: just give you a new one.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Side note, did you guys see who walked them out
- 5:37Speaker 5: into the tunnel?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah? Who was that?
- 5:40Speaker 5: That's our guy.
- 5:40Speaker 2: That was our guy, our guy that gave us the
- 5:42Speaker 2: escort around.
- 5:43Speaker 1: They did not hire prostitute. We did not go to
- 5:47Speaker 1: Oregon and hire a prostitute. Regardless. Boy you heard on
- 5:50Speaker 1: this show.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You just walked us around.
- 5:52Speaker 5: He escorted us into the tunnel too.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like you know, oh yeah, to ask for
- 5:56Speaker 4: walking them down.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Could have been a guy, though, it's truly good. Uh yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 1: the spitting things, it's the most disrespectful thing you can do.
- 6:05Speaker 2: That's why people do it.
- 6:07Speaker 1: There's nothing more disrespectful than spitting, on instance, in someone's face.
- 6:11Speaker 1: But if you're going to do it, you can't do
- 6:13Speaker 1: it from so far away because you will be seeing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You'll be thrown out it. It's so dumb to do that.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It's like getting in a fight and pulling your helet off.
- 6:18Speaker 1: If you had to get a fight on the field,
- 6:19Speaker 1: keep your hemet on, Yeah, because now you have vulnerability
- 6:24Speaker 1: your head.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's what's up. Are you a spinner? No?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I would never spin anybody.
- 6:30Speaker 4: No, Just just like, are you a guy that just
- 6:32Speaker 4: kind of walks around with spitting on the ground and stuff?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Maybe not walk around doing it, but sometimes I have
- 6:36Speaker 1: bad allergy, so I think I do that sometimes where
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's just like I don't tell what it sounds like.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's much cool.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Because one of my boys he just likes to spit,
- 6:46Speaker 4: you know, like we go to a hotel and there's
- 6:48Speaker 4: a balcony. First thing he does like I want to
- 6:50Speaker 4: spit off the balcony. Liked stop to stop that. It's gross.
- 6:53Speaker 4: So Beavis and Butt heead right, yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Yeah, but up up high like that. That's cool.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You got to watch it go down? Yeah yeah, or
- 6:59Speaker 1: like if you have seeds or yeah you chew, dip,
- 7:03Speaker 1: any of that stuff.
- 7:04Speaker 2: One of my kids are little. I don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm saying other reasons that they don't have it, because
- 7:08Speaker 1: that would be those, but just generally spitting. I kind
- 7:11Speaker 1: of like my slavic. He's my mouth. You needed, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 1: make you talk. That was the first little thing there.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Number two was I saw our boy Kevin here, kick
- 7:20Speaker 1: off Kevin new personal record. Let's go Eddie. Are you
- 7:25Speaker 1: see a social media? Oh?
- 7:27Speaker 2: Did you say something?
- 7:28Speaker 1: No? I don't. Don't let him walk into it. You
- 7:31Speaker 1: say something? Is this the orange theory one? Did you
- 7:35Speaker 1: see a social media?
- 7:36Speaker 3: No?
- 7:36Speaker 2: I do not. I don't know.
- 7:38Speaker 5: You could have just said that, do you follow me?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Is that? I don't know?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Any what if you didn't, I really don't know.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Maybe the funny no, I need to look he does.
- 7:47Speaker 6: I may not he does.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That would make my day if you didn't know. He don't. Honestly,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I don't. I can't think of one of his posts.
- 7:54Speaker 5: So you literally came in like two weeks ago and
- 7:56Speaker 5: you said something about a post that I did. You're like, oh,
- 7:58Speaker 5: I saw you were here here and I'm like so yeah, yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 5: don't don't act like you No, No, it's the family.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It's the family dog that I saw. Man.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that was gonna make my day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: If you didn't follow, Kevin, I follow just because, like
- 8:09Speaker 1: by accident, if you didn't follow, because it's not like
- 8:12Speaker 1: you don't love them.
- 8:13Speaker 2: We all love them. What is it?
- 8:16Speaker 1: What's this new? Pr Well, you ran a mile in
- 8:19Speaker 1: five minutes thirteen seconds.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Let's go, oh that's fast.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Why were you running a mile?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Though?
- 8:24Speaker 5: They have a test. It's like they do different tests
- 8:26Speaker 5: each month. Sorry, Orange theory. So Orange Theory does a
- 8:30Speaker 5: test each month, like different kind of stuff. And this
- 8:33Speaker 5: month is the mile test. So you try to ride
- 8:35Speaker 5: a mile and as fast as you can. And that's
- 8:38Speaker 5: what I did. But the kicker is I already did
- 8:40Speaker 5: it once. So I was doing it once. I was
- 8:42Speaker 5: mentally preparing myself all week. This is what I'm gonna do.
- 8:44Speaker 5: This what I'm gonna get. I got the point eight six,
- 8:46Speaker 5: I'm moving point eight six treadmill. Point Oh you did
- 8:50Speaker 5: it on a tread and treadmill. Yeah, yah, it's different.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I know. No, no, no, I wasn't saying good or
- 8:54Speaker 1: bad all the way. I'm just picturing you running around. Try.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I was gonna ask your splits, but never mind, go ahead. No. Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 5: So I was on a treadmill and as I'm running
- 9:00Speaker 5: the first time, I can smell something burning, and I'm like,
- 9:04Speaker 5: I hope that's not this treadmill. I just keep going,
- 9:06Speaker 5: keep going, keep going. Point eight six.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Run so fast burn the treadmill shut it down on me.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Turn black, shut off completely. So I had to wait
- 9:15Speaker 5: while everyone else finished theirs, and I was like, dang,
- 9:18Speaker 5: do I do this tomorrow? And do I?
- 9:19Speaker 2: I was.
- 9:20Speaker 5: I was pissed off because, like I said, I'd been
- 9:21Speaker 5: building up all week and I did it again. Still
- 9:23Speaker 5: got five thirteen, which I'm very very happy.
- 9:25Speaker 2: That's fast man.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah, possibly even faster than what I originally would have been.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Yeah. The thing. The good thing was it gave me
- 9:34Speaker 5: the confidence that I knew the speed I could get
- 9:36Speaker 5: to and try to maintain that for the second time.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So you're right, the whole time into point eighty six.
- 9:42Speaker 5: No, so point eight six was a distance where it
- 9:44Speaker 5: shut down.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I ran and I started at like a you were
- 9:46Speaker 1: like at the home stretch before yea, an eight point second?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Still fast.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Maybe that's why I started at eleven point two miles
- 9:53Speaker 5: per hour and then worked up to like eleven six
- 9:56Speaker 5: halfway through and then did twelve five like the final
- 9:58Speaker 5: point three of the mile.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Dang, that's pretty that's good. Congratulations, very fast time.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Did you know that he is the athlete of the
- 10:05Speaker 2: month at Orange?
- 10:08Speaker 5: You don't follow me?
- 10:10Speaker 1: I did not. It was not my newsletter.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah, man athlete of the month, So what does that mean?
- 10:15Speaker 2: I don't know what does that mean?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:16Speaker 5: They just made it a social post and they're like,
- 10:17Speaker 5: you're gonna be a member of the month, And I
- 10:19Speaker 5: was like, all right, remember the member of it made
- 10:21Speaker 5: it sound like you want to I know. That sounded cool.
- 10:23Speaker 5: That's why I wasn't gonna say anything.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Hey, Mike, yeah.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You could probably be Kevin in a mile.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Huh on a treadmill?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Why why not on a I try?
- 10:34Speaker 6: I feel like you can run faster in a treadmill,
- 10:36Speaker 6: like set it to the right speed and then you
- 10:37Speaker 6: like start immediately. For me, it takes me a little
- 10:39Speaker 6: longer to get going, so I feel like they gotta.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Take Mike d though on a mile either way you.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Would How fast do you think you can get?
- 10:47Speaker 1: It doesn't matter like the bed?
- 10:50Speaker 2: You want to do that? Right?
- 10:51Speaker 1: No?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Wait?
- 10:51Speaker 5: Did you what did you say?
- 10:52Speaker 1: I take the bed, my boy, Mike, don't matter which
- 10:56Speaker 1: one try meil you want.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I think Mike can get you me.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not racing.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Oh I thought you're gonna race Mike.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm not racing anybody.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Okay. I was like, I'll take that bet.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I'm more of a you know, you ever see squad
- 11:06Speaker 1: games as the rich people are the ones watching everybody die.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm more of that guy. Now.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I thought you just said you take Mike and them?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Oh?
- 11:14Speaker 1: Like, I think he puts some units down.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Got Cheah over Kevin?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yes? Oh, Eddie, who would you take?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Let me think about this. Kevin's a little and Kevin's
- 11:25Speaker 4: just starting. I feel Mike's been running for a long
- 11:27Speaker 4: he was athlete of the week, ye member of the month.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Mike. I think his lungs are stronger.
- 11:34Speaker 1: But it's only one mile.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Yeah, twenty miles absolutely, and everybody.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Would run against Mike fifteen miles.
- 11:40Speaker 2: No treadmill, right, either way.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think Mike could also take him on the track,
- 11:45Speaker 1: which Mike doesn't seem as confident in. But I think
- 11:48Speaker 1: Mike could take him on the track too.
- 11:50Speaker 2: All right, why are we doing this?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Who did you pick the same person? Oh? Mike, Mike,
- 11:54Speaker 1: That's who I picked.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Okay, So now now Reid and Casey can go against
- 11:57Speaker 4: us or not.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I don't know. Kevin's got some long legs. Okay, that's
- 12:02Speaker 1: what I'm talking about.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Thank you, Red, Mike.
- 12:05Speaker 1: We believe in you. That being said, I think if
- 12:08Speaker 1: we were to run, because someone had asked me a question,
- 12:10Speaker 1: who could run the fastest one hundred out of all
- 12:13Speaker 1: of us? Yeah, out of even the big show, And
- 12:17Speaker 1: I think the fastest hundred is me. I think I
- 12:20Speaker 1: could out right, You're not.
- 12:22Speaker 5: You'd have me on the first twenty, and then after
- 12:24Speaker 5: that I would beat you.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'm stronger, but I'm stronger like forty to seventy than.
- 12:28Speaker 5: I would get those I would get those long strides in.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I just think I could beat you.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Uh, I might go Kevin the mountain a mile.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I think I could probably beat you in a mile,
- 12:37Speaker 1: but I don't think I could beat you any longer
- 12:39Speaker 1: than that because I think I would just want to
- 12:40Speaker 1: die and then just be like one point one kill myself.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I think I could take his short I get you
- 12:47Speaker 1: take in forty. I think I get closer at seventy
- 12:50Speaker 1: to eighty.
- 12:51Speaker 5: I think I can what you have a better shot
- 12:54Speaker 5: out of forty than one hundred forty yard dash than
- 12:56Speaker 5: one hundred meter.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'm thinking a hundred football field compre touchdown either one
- 13:01Speaker 1: hundred yard one. I guess we're talking about too different
- 13:03Speaker 1: things and touchdowns. You weren't in the list that I
- 13:07Speaker 1: put up because I think Kevin probably my biggest my
- 13:10Speaker 1: arch nemesis out of everyone, like out of everyone, Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: because Kevin was athlete of the day over it keeps
- 13:17Speaker 1: getting week day, an hour, hour the minute. Yeah, Kevin,
- 13:28Speaker 1: probably give me a run. I go pretty hard, though
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'm sure France like I it's I'm not basing that
- 13:35Speaker 1: off of what I used to do. I think it's
- 13:38Speaker 1: I still feel pretty good about that now. But but
- 13:40Speaker 1: here's the deal.
- 13:40Speaker 2: You're you're not in one hundred percent.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I'm yeah, but I'm hurt. But it doesn't matter. I
- 13:45Speaker 1: could do it once right wise man once said might
- 13:48Speaker 1: be broken and one my legs, but I'm as good
- 13:50Speaker 1: as I once wasn't that broken legs as I was
- 13:52Speaker 1: once on my broke that's went. But yeah, yeah, So
- 13:57Speaker 1: on the Big Show though, I put me first, Ray second,
- 14:01Speaker 1: Lunchbox third, Eddie fourth. How do you feel like that?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Probably accurate? I'm not fast that I'm not known for
- 14:06Speaker 2: my speed, at.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Least not by the dudes. I thought about Lunchbox in
- 14:18Speaker 1: that because he can run, but he had he is
- 14:20Speaker 1: very much a long distance runner as well. And whatever,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Ray and Lunchbox ran and it was a really, really
- 14:26Speaker 1: contentious a couple of days on the show. I don't
- 14:28Speaker 1: know how many guys were with the show at the time.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Eddie wasn't. Maybe Mike I was there. Oh my god.
- 14:35Speaker 1: We built up this race. It was a forty between
- 14:39Speaker 1: Lunchbox and Ray, the two most competitive dudes, and they
- 14:42Speaker 1: raced and Ray beat him.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Lunchbocks walking off the field was just like him, so defeated.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He just left. We had a show to do. God,
- 14:51Speaker 1: he just left. I felt bad for him because I
- 14:53Speaker 1: am competitive, But I also would have known that race
- 14:55Speaker 1: fast and I wouldn't have been so hard. I wouldn't
- 14:58Speaker 1: have thought for sure I was gonna wait, thought sure
- 15:00Speaker 1: he's gonna win, like with Kevin, and I'm like, I
- 15:02Speaker 1: think it could beat you. But there's also a part
- 15:04Speaker 1: of me that goes Kevin was freaking Golden Gym Century.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It was like him Secretariat and Babe Bruce right whenever
- 15:14Speaker 1: ESPN did their Athletes of the Century.
- 15:19Speaker 4: But Lunchbox did run a mare of that without training.
- 15:21Speaker 4: That was pretty impressive, very impressive. He's a long distance runner.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Did Ray beat him pretty I mean, was it real close?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Do you remember?
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's a forty so it wasn't gonna be that bunch
- 15:29Speaker 1: of a distance anyway, But yes, it was pretty close.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It was ahead, he got him by a head, but
- 15:33Speaker 1: Lunchbox took the lead and Little Ray just freaking keyboard
- 15:36Speaker 1: else legs.
- 15:38Speaker 6: And thence and then.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And it was There have been uncomfortable moments on our
- 15:44Speaker 1: show because our show has just basically been let's just
- 15:46Speaker 1: be honest and let's sometimes we fight, sometimes we love,
- 15:49Speaker 1: we laugh, but we always eventually get back together. And
- 15:52Speaker 1: that was a tough one to get back from for
- 15:55Speaker 1: those two because it was they both just knew they
- 15:58Speaker 1: were gonna win, and it didn't no matter who won,
- 16:00Speaker 1: that the winner was going at the loser so hard,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and then Lunchbox just walked off the field. Wouldn't do
- 16:05Speaker 1: a postgame interview, it was all live on the air,
- 16:07Speaker 1: wouldn't And then Ray and Lunchbox didn't they boxed once out. Yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 1: anyone wasn't working on the show, but I got him
- 16:17Speaker 1: to become referee it so we do. It is this terrible.
- 16:19Speaker 1: We put up cones in like the yard of the
- 16:21Speaker 1: radio station and put boxing gloves on them, so there
- 16:23Speaker 1: really was like no rules and then like rages like
- 16:26Speaker 1: beat the crab out of it.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It was the sloppiest boxing ever there.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yes, and also there was no ring.
- 16:31Speaker 5: They were just like running around.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Godly uh yeah yeah yeah. So congratulations Keiki. That's my point.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I saw that and I thought it was pretty cool.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Thank you so and all.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You got so many accolades athletically from them too. I know,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I know ten different awards so far. Okay, I wanted
- 16:51Speaker 1: to talk just for a second about the Angel rees
- 16:54Speaker 1: uh in WNBA salary story. So for those that do
- 16:57Speaker 1: not follow the w n B, a Angel Reese place
- 17:00Speaker 1: for the Chicago Sky She played at LSU on a
- 17:02Speaker 1: national championship. Her and Kaitlyn Clark are basically rivals. I
- 17:07Speaker 1: don't think the magic and Bird of the WNBA. I
- 17:10Speaker 1: don't think she's Kaitlin Clark's rival. I think Kaitlin Clark
- 17:13Speaker 1: is her rival because she's jealous of Kaitlyn Clark. I
- 17:15Speaker 1: don't think Kaitlin Clark cares.
- 17:17Speaker 2: No, it doesn't seem like it.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So the story came where angel Rees was talking about
- 17:25Speaker 1: her bills and that she can't afford her bills on
- 17:28Speaker 1: her WNBA salary, and so I'm just gonna read just
- 17:32Speaker 1: some of this. Angel Rees talked about hating paying her bills.
- 17:36Speaker 1: She then went on to how her role in the
- 17:39Speaker 1: Chicago Sky doesn't cover her main expenses such as rent.
- 17:42Speaker 1: She went on to say, hating bills, hate paying them bills.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I just hope you know the WNBA don't pay my
- 17:47Speaker 1: bills at all. I don't even think that pays one
- 17:50Speaker 1: of my bills. Literally, I'm trying to think of my
- 17:52Speaker 1: rent for where I stay at. Let me do the
- 17:54Speaker 1: math real quick. I don't even know my WNBA salary.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So she earns WNBA seventy six thousand dollars a rookie season,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and it's projected to earn up to ninety seven thousand,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but I think her rent was like eight grand a month.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So here's the thing. I have two things, and I
- 18:11Speaker 1: know people will be like, well, the WNBA they should
- 18:13Speaker 1: get paid more, and they will new collective bargain and
- 18:15Speaker 1: agreement goes into plane a couple of years. And because literally,
- 18:18Speaker 1: because I can't look Clark, the league's gonna make more money,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Like literally, what's a new CBA for WNBA happens? The
- 18:24Speaker 1: WNBA has been losing money every year, every year, every year.
- 18:27Speaker 1: If you work for any business that loses money, it
- 18:29Speaker 1: doesn't matter how good you are in that business, you
- 18:30Speaker 1: don't make a lot of money. So that's been the
- 18:33Speaker 1: beef the WA NBA players should not make as much
- 18:35Speaker 1: as the NBA players, regardless if they were better or worse,
- 18:38Speaker 1: just based on the WNBA doesn't make money. And any
- 18:41Speaker 1: business you work out that doesn't make money, you don't
- 18:43Speaker 1: have a bunch of high, high salaried folks working there.
- 18:47Speaker 1: So it doesn't matter what the league is or the industry.
- 18:49Speaker 1: The business business loses money. You don't got a bunch
- 18:53Speaker 1: of millionaires working there. So I think Caylet Clark makes
- 18:58Speaker 1: like eighty grand, eighty five grand and something like that. Yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: whatever it is, Angeliees, you have your eighty thousand. I'm
- 19:04Speaker 1: sure you're making endorsements. You have to live within your means,
- 19:07Speaker 1: regardless it doesn't. I would say the same thing to
- 19:10Speaker 1: like Adrian Adrishan Peterson lost all his money. Adrian Peterson
- 19:12Speaker 1: like made a hundred million Buckses broke all of it
- 19:14Speaker 1: and he had to he borrowed a bund. Yeah, but
- 19:18Speaker 1: to him, to anyone, right, you have to live within
- 19:22Speaker 1: your means. Eighty thousand dollars plus let's say she makes
- 19:27Speaker 1: another fifty one hundred and thirty thousand dollars. There's a
- 19:32Speaker 1: lot of money for anybody to make in America, like
- 19:35Speaker 1: the average income Mike, and uh, you may look this up.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I can look it up now. But that's on her.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It's my point. Yes, Yeah, I do not feel guilty
- 19:46Speaker 1: that she can't pay her eight thousand dollars a month rent. Yeah,
- 19:48Speaker 1: that's crazy.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Well, I think though, with like you said, endorsements, I
- 19:52Speaker 4: feel like she makes she would make pretty good money
- 19:54Speaker 4: because we know who she is. She you see her
- 19:57Speaker 4: in commercials, like especially.
- 19:59Speaker 1: What commercials do you here in?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen her in some like like a Gatorade commercial.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Have you one of those? Yeah, one of those commercials
- 20:05Speaker 2: lists Again, there's.
- 20:06Speaker 1: One that we're debating. If she's in it, I mean so,
- 20:09Speaker 1: but I'm not saying she's not making endorsement money.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Yeah, But I think here she's just calling out the
- 20:13Speaker 4: WNBA because she's not saying like, I don't have but.
- 20:15Speaker 1: There's nothing to call out for the WNBA.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Just as she's making eighty thousand or whatever.
- 20:20Speaker 1: But that argument has so many times been if the
- 20:23Speaker 1: business made more, you would make more. And the new
- 20:26Speaker 1: CBA that's going in there, they will make more. But
- 20:29Speaker 1: the point is, regardless if you're happy or unhappy about
- 20:31Speaker 1: the salary you make, you have to actually buy things
- 20:35Speaker 1: that you can afford, if it's ten million, one million,
- 20:37Speaker 1: or fifty dollars. So she called the WNBIT all day.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Steph Curry call out the NBA all day. Maybe the
- 20:42Speaker 1: same thing. If he's spending more than it's still like,
- 20:45Speaker 1: you know what you're making, you have to live within
- 20:48Speaker 1: that and no one's feeling sorry for you because you've
- 20:51Speaker 1: chosen to spend more than you make.
- 20:54Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 20:55Speaker 6: Forty eight thousand a year?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Huh? Forty eight thousand a year is media in America. Really,
- 21:02Speaker 1: what about what about like dual income? I mean prop
- 21:06Speaker 1: two average two family or two house to two income family. Yes,
- 21:11Speaker 1: thank you, I'm sorry.
- 21:14Speaker 5: And as far as commercials go, it looks like an
- 21:16Speaker 5: Amazon Prime Video spot, one spot or or a campaign
- 21:20Speaker 5: just disappeared in a spot.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Okay, so spot, you know, I don't know.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't know her money. But let's say she got
- 21:27Speaker 1: fifty grand for.
- 21:27Speaker 5: That NBA TV spot I'll promote with the NBA finals.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I guess probably very little, if Sardi in the organization,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but probably something.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's small.
- 21:38Speaker 5: So as a promo for the Wicked movie? What about
- 21:40Speaker 5: the Gatorade, I don't see anything. Yeah, exactly exactly.
- 21:44Speaker 6: For duel income, it's between seventy two and eighty thousand.
- 21:47Speaker 1: You're talking about average average, not low, not in the middle. Right,
- 21:50Speaker 1: duel is eighty grand in America. And you know what
- 21:55Speaker 1: you have to do if you make seventy or ninety
- 21:56Speaker 1: or one hundred and ten or hundred and thirty or twenty,
- 22:00Speaker 1: you have to live within the means that you have.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And in fact, the angelry is that that's a story.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I just scratch my head and go, you're making a
- 22:07Speaker 1: lot of money. You're a single lady, you're gonna make
- 22:10Speaker 1: a lot more like take a couple of years in
- 22:12Speaker 1: love with than your means.
- 22:14Speaker 2: We're learning that she complains about a lot of stuff.
- 22:17Speaker 2: A lot of stuff is true.
- 22:18Speaker 1: She does complain a lot.
- 22:19Speaker 5: She stays in the media, though, Yeah, which would.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Lead you to think she's been making more money. Yeah right,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I mean I haven't thought she was going to gain
- 22:27Speaker 1: her in commercial Yeah that's shorts in Vibe dot com.
- 22:31Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a lot of I mean,
- 22:33Speaker 1: you make one hundred and thirty thousand dollars a lot
- 22:35Speaker 1: of money. You're a single person who also get lots
- 22:38Speaker 1: stuff for free, probably a lot of food for free
- 22:39Speaker 1: because she works, Like, that's a lot of money. Eighty
- 22:44Speaker 1: thousand dollars U is average that, I mean, that's.
- 22:49Speaker 7: It's like fifty two a month, fifty two hundred.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm sure. That's what I was trying to do, is
- 22:53Speaker 1: like do them. But then I was doing taxes too.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But that doesn't matter because when someone says how much
- 22:58Speaker 1: do you make a year, you don't go after taxes.
- 23:00Speaker 1: You say what you make before taxes are taken out,
- 23:03Speaker 1: Like when anyone's like, what's their salary. It's never eighties,
- 23:07Speaker 1: like five thousand, like pretty close to it. A month, yeah, Angel,
- 23:13Speaker 1: your rents eight grand? I think a month?
- 23:17Speaker 2: Probably? Yeah?
- 23:18Speaker 5: Move, probably move, she said, like get a roommate. Oh
- 23:22Speaker 5: or that.
- 23:23Speaker 1: That's when I'm saying I saw that too. Let's get
- 23:28Speaker 1: over to the tittle tattle. The tittle tattle.
- 23:39Speaker 5: In honor of Tom Brady being the new NFL owner.
- 23:42Speaker 5: If you could own any NFL team, which would it be?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Oh, NFL team? Yeah, you got it, It's probably the
- 23:48Speaker 1: Cowboy because the most valuable that's right, and you own
- 23:51Speaker 1: it and I go to every game. It's perfect. I
- 23:53Speaker 1: wasn't thinking about like my friends. I was thinking about
- 23:55Speaker 1: just what's the most valuable team, because I don't really
- 23:57Speaker 1: have an NFL team. Yeah, and then you can yell
- 23:59Speaker 1: at and stuff and like, no, no, that's only Jerry
- 24:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's only Jerry Jones. They all don't
- 24:06Speaker 1: do that, got it. I know you think they do
- 24:08Speaker 1: because it's the only team that you like follow that closely.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But no, no, that's not every owner. Yeah, the Cowboys
- 24:13Speaker 1: because I'd probably flip them. I buy them, flip them
- 24:17Speaker 1: like real estate, and then buy like two other smaller teams. WHOA,
- 24:20Speaker 1: that's a rude.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That's America's team. You can't afford to do that.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Are they still America's team?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 24:25Speaker 5: Let ever die down.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Know who else would be? The Steelers?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Give me a break.
- 24:30Speaker 1: But it's not a who else would be? It's like,
- 24:32Speaker 1: why are the Cowboys still considered America's team? There's really
- 24:35Speaker 1: nothing about them that makes them America's team except for
- 24:39Speaker 1: like in the eighties, they just designated themselves as that.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I'm not even being a hater. I'm just asking the question,
- 24:44Speaker 1: why are the Cowboys America's team now because they are
- 24:47Speaker 1: the most watched I don't think that just because you
- 24:50Speaker 1: have the highest ratings, does it mean that you are
- 24:52Speaker 1: America as anything. It's exactly what it means. So the
- 24:55Speaker 1: highest rated television show is America's show. What's it called
- 24:58Speaker 1: American Idol? It's not the.
- 25:02Speaker 2: America America.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Anything with bigger numbers would be considered America's according to
- 25:09Speaker 1: your logic, I don't feel like the Cowboys are America's
- 25:11Speaker 1: team anymore. I feel like they're the team that is
- 25:15Speaker 1: the most polarizing. Therefore they're in the news the most.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It's not that they are talked about the most because
- 25:22Speaker 1: everybody loves them. It's that the general interest in them
- 25:27Speaker 1: is high because of Jerry Jones losing, winning dumb decisions.
- 25:34Speaker 1: You know it is true.
- 25:35Speaker 4: No, not everybody loves them, even their fans start to
- 25:37Speaker 4: hate them. But what's funny to me, though, is the
- 25:40Speaker 4: Patriots could have easily been the new America's team with
- 25:43Speaker 4: all their wins. Tom Brady and they're called dynasty and
- 25:46Speaker 4: they're the Patriots, Red, white and Blue.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Couldn't do it. Not centralized enough to be America's team. Northeast. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: very upper right hand, a bunch of other teams surrounding
- 25:58Speaker 1: them like they're almost need it almost needs to be
- 26:00Speaker 1: in the middle somewhere, like the Cowboys are medal ish. Yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I mean like the Chiefs would be like an America's team.
- 26:08Speaker 1: They've won too much now, people starting to hate them
- 26:10Speaker 1: for no reason. They could be America's team. But it's
- 26:13Speaker 1: like a team that general Middle America loves. Even if
- 26:18Speaker 1: you don't have a team, you gravitate towards because a
- 26:20Speaker 1: lot of that middle America's space does. They don't have
- 26:22Speaker 1: a team like you're look at a bunch of East
- 26:24Speaker 1: Coast teams, bunch of West Coast teams. Nothing in therexas Yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 1: there's nothing there, which is why I was I was like,
- 26:29Speaker 1: why is it the Cowboys now?
- 26:31Speaker 2: Man, It's just happened, like you said, in the eighties.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Then we backed it up in the nineties.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Won a lot in the nineties. You had a very
- 26:35Speaker 1: outspoken owner, he had a good looking quarterback. Yeah, you
- 26:38Speaker 1: had the best running back.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Ever, Emit Smith ever, Michael Irvin started the eighty eight tradition, I.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Would say, according to folks at that time, yes, it
- 26:47Speaker 1: just as far as like what touchdowns, rushing yards, Yeah,
- 26:51Speaker 1: rushing yards he was.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Awesome, King wasn't good.
- 26:54Speaker 1: My kids would be like, I don't think he was
- 26:56Speaker 1: the best running back ever. I'm just saying generally thought of,
- 26:59Speaker 1: especially when he's breaking the touch now rushing yards records break. Yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I don't think he's the best running back. I think
- 27:06Speaker 1: yet with a really good team, really great off its line,
- 27:08Speaker 1: big Holes is obviously really good.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, buy the Cowboys. Second, let me let me
- 27:13Speaker 1: answer secondly, who I would buy? Because you go, would
- 27:17Speaker 1: you look for a deal? You go major market. I'm
- 27:20Speaker 1: not thrift shopping here. I get any I want. According
- 27:23Speaker 1: to the question, I'm not going to buy the Giants
- 27:26Speaker 1: of the Jets. I want to share a stadium.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Oh gosh, that's terrible.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's too cold. Super toxic culture. Just New
- 27:33Speaker 1: York and general is very toxic culture. That being said
- 27:35Speaker 1: that I would have I would own the Yankees. That'd
- 27:36Speaker 1: be nice, that'd be great, that'd be worth a lot.
- 27:39Speaker 1: You go to La I don't want the Rams Chargers.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I don't want the Chargers. They still feel like the
- 27:43Speaker 1: from San Diego.
- 27:44Speaker 2: To me, it's a tough one.
- 27:46Speaker 1: So I'm going to mark them off. And that's market
- 27:48Speaker 1: one and two. Market three is Chicago. The Bears are interesting,
- 27:52Speaker 1: had the same owner. They don't spend a lot of money.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I'll put the Bears up there as it's something I
- 27:57Speaker 1: consider the forty nine ers or market four, Market four
- 27:59Speaker 1: or five, that's interesting. Miscisco is a major market. They
- 28:02Speaker 1: have a history of winning. Yeah, it's not super cold there.
- 28:05Speaker 1: It doesn't get a little chilly. But always think about that,
- 28:07Speaker 1: like I don't want to lift some more cold.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It's important. It's important too.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So there's that. Then you have Houston. I don't want
- 28:13Speaker 1: to Texans are too new, you know.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I wanted to Houston since it's so close to Dallas.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Texans too new, it's not about the city.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Okay, well I'm saying you own both, you can just
- 28:20Speaker 2: three hour drive back.
- 28:21Speaker 1: No, I don't own both, though, I'm saying if I
- 28:22Speaker 1: don't take the Cowboy, oh it's the second one. Yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 1: So who I would take Houston? The Texans brand is
- 28:27Speaker 1: too new, not gonna be as valuable. That's sevent me
- 28:31Speaker 1: Houston Dallas Market seven. I think it would probably be
- 28:38Speaker 1: the Bears, and I think I could make that America's
- 28:40Speaker 1: team really centrally located major market. Chicago's market number three
- 28:48Speaker 1: don't have a real history of winning the eighties, was
- 28:50Speaker 1: that McMahon. Yeah, like the eighty five Bears, which you
- 28:53Speaker 1: don't remember. I think I can make them very likable
- 28:57Speaker 1: Middle America. Chicago doesn't seem like a major marquest compared
- 29:01Speaker 1: to LA and New York, but it is. It's massive,
- 29:03Speaker 1: it's huge, so people think of it as just a
- 29:04Speaker 1: city in the Midwest.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Stadium would you build a new one or keep it
- 29:06Speaker 2: at Soldier? Perfect World? Perfect world.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I'd build a hover stadium.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Oh and you can move it.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, they would take up no space on a movie it.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Oh, that's funny.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean in the perfect world, right, Soldier Field's old,
- 29:21Speaker 1: so I probably there's a lot of history there. Maybe
- 29:23Speaker 1: do like they did Wrigley, where they kept it, but
- 29:25Speaker 1: they made it nicer, upgraded, like the plumbing works. The
- 29:31Speaker 1: problem is, though, it's like the parking. Have you ever
- 29:33Speaker 1: been to Soldier Field? No, driven by right and you
- 29:36Speaker 1: actually you really drive right by it the on the interstate.
- 29:39Speaker 1: It's not like there's a robust area to park all
- 29:43Speaker 1: your cars. There's something.
- 29:44Speaker 2: It's fine, You're right, Wrigley is there parking.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I've only taken the set lots street parking, but no, no,
- 29:52Speaker 1: But I'm talking about Ragley is old and crappy. That's
- 29:55Speaker 1: what made it awesome. But now it's old and some
- 29:57Speaker 1: of it's crappy, but some of it's new. Way better
- 29:59Speaker 1: than Boston though, oh way better overrated? All right, next up?
- 30:02Speaker 2: All right?
- 30:03Speaker 5: Which SEC matchup? Are you looking forward to most this weekend?
- 30:05Speaker 5: You got Bama at Tennessee or Georgia at Texas.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Georgia at Texas just because those are the two programs
- 30:12Speaker 1: one that's supposed to be the best and two that
- 30:14Speaker 1: the one that has been the best. So Texas is
- 30:16Speaker 1: supposed to be the best. Georgia has been the best.
- 30:19Speaker 1: That's fine. But Texas and Tennessee is that's a that's
- 30:22Speaker 1: a I quit match.
- 30:24Speaker 2: The Bama Tennessee Bama Tennessee.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, whatever, whoever loses that, you're probably not making
- 30:29Speaker 1: the CFP.
- 30:30Speaker 5: They're both like kind of reeling a little bit right now?
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:33Speaker 1: Are they? Or is everybody else just at the same
- 30:36Speaker 1: level up in that upper tier is? And isn't everybody
- 30:39Speaker 1: reeling a little bit because you don't have the depth anymore?
- 30:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:42Speaker 1: Like, there just isn't depth because instead of being depth
- 30:44Speaker 1: on one team, you can go be the starter on another.
- 30:48Speaker 1: So I like parody. I like people losing gives my
- 30:51Speaker 1: team a chance.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys are right there. If you're waiting for people.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We beat LSU sec wise, like we're in it.
- 31:00Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 31:01Speaker 1: If we beat LSU, Like again, that's two top ten
- 31:04Speaker 1: wins in a row. Did you guys have the team?
- 31:07Speaker 2: You have the team to do it.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I don't think we have the personnel if we match
- 31:11Speaker 1: them up one to one that they do.
- 31:13Speaker 4: But your offense, like they score and they could score quickly,
- 31:17Speaker 4: they can score a lot early, Like.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I don't know what team you've been watching.
- 31:20Speaker 2: The We've lost.
- 31:25Speaker 1: At times, but we can't. At times we do, and
- 31:28Speaker 1: at times we're just inept.
- 31:30Speaker 4: When I've watched, dude, I've seen you guys just pound
- 31:33Speaker 4: pound pound score. What if we watched the first two weeks,
- 31:36Speaker 4: you guys like scored quickly and.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Then we played you APB. It's not even a real team.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Anything I watched, though, maybe it's the second week.
- 31:42Speaker 5: In the third week it's A and M. The first
- 31:45Speaker 5: drive he looked great.
- 31:45Speaker 1: We look great in the first half, and then we
- 31:47Speaker 1: couldn't move the ball at all the second half, and
- 31:49Speaker 1: then the last we turned it off. Admit it, I
- 31:51Speaker 1: did turn off. Then the last one I saw you
- 31:54Speaker 1: guys come from behind and win it, which is awesome
- 31:57Speaker 1: Tennessee Tennessee backup back from come from behind. Yes, but
- 32:01Speaker 1: we were ahead for most in the entire first half.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But yeah, our offense is either completely inept or really dynamic.
- 32:09Speaker 1: But I would say at our quarterback is not consistent
- 32:13Speaker 1: enough to be like, wow, look at our really strong offense.
- 32:15Speaker 1: We're not known for offense at all. We have a
- 32:16Speaker 1: really good defense. So you're you're watching it weird times. Well,
- 32:20Speaker 1: you're watching the good You're watching Instagram highlights.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Be a fair than what I do is I watch
- 32:24Speaker 4: what I'm winning and what's close on my parlays, and
- 32:27Speaker 4: then I'll watch that. Like in my parlay is winning
- 32:30Speaker 4: five games, I'm watching those five games, and I'm like
- 32:33Speaker 4: two our borderline, I'm watching those two back and forth.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Our quarterback at times is great and at times is
- 32:38Speaker 1: still the guy that lost the job at Boys Estate.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I think we're gonna be Las year. He's a stunt.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I have a picture of him and I together. He's
- 32:47Speaker 1: six seven. Who is that landon the big ball dude?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I have a picture of us together, and he looks
- 32:58Speaker 1: like he's from a different age, the time of Giants
- 33:04Speaker 1: like it. He is so big.
- 33:05Speaker 2: When did you meet him?
- 33:07Speaker 1: See if it's on my phone. I met him whenever
- 33:11Speaker 1: we went to do too much access with Cam Little.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Oh he was walking, he was walking in the hallway.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Stopped him. No, he was on the field, right, So
- 33:18Speaker 1: I know.
- 33:18Speaker 5: I know it's two weeks later, but Cam Little at
- 33:19Speaker 5: the game win and kick up.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was good.
- 33:22Speaker 1: It was like the only thing that we didn't look
- 33:23Speaker 1: at and be like yeah, we did it. I didn't
- 33:24Speaker 1: do crap. Yeah, I was trying to find focused, dude,
- 33:28Speaker 1: like not phased all the Jaguars one win.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's because of Cam.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah for sure. Well, well good luck. I hope
- 33:35Speaker 2: you won it.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I can't find it.
- 33:36Speaker 2: You're freaking awesome.
- 33:37Speaker 5: I can tell us here all day.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Looking for it.
- 33:39Speaker 5: It's it is it, It's in Arkansasans.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Next question, all right, NFL here, which wide receiver edition
- 33:46Speaker 5: do you feel will have a bigger impact of Vante
- 33:48Speaker 5: Adams or Mark Cooper?
- 33:50Speaker 2: Probably Marik Cooper.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Honestly, it means because the Bills are foreign too, and
- 33:52Speaker 1: they had to spend like eighty bucks for him. That's
- 33:55Speaker 1: pretty cool because the Browns had already taken his signing
- 34:00Speaker 1: bonus and turn it into contract or contract. The Bills
- 34:03Speaker 1: only have to pay eight hundred thousand dollars for a
- 34:05Speaker 1: true number one.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It's awesome. Jon Dadams is probably the better receiver, but
- 34:11Speaker 1: the Bills were already up two games on the Jets.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Amari Cooper not quite what Devontae Adams is. However, I
- 34:18Speaker 1: don't have Josh Allen than I would Aaron Rodgers, and
- 34:22Speaker 1: I know it's not the sexy answer because you're like Jets.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm starting to really not like Aaron Rodgers. I've always
- 34:28Speaker 1: rooted for him, even when he's annoying.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I'm a't think anyone would root for him.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I have a jet. It's like Tiger Woods, for example.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I have friends that know and have hung out with Tiger,
- 34:36Speaker 1: and they're like, he's a bad He's a bad person.
- 34:38Speaker 1: They're like, he doesn't tip, he treats people like crap. Yeah,
- 34:41Speaker 1: and heard that one. Yeah, well you don't know these people. Yeah,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I still watch and I'm like, let's go Tiger. Yeah.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And with Aaron Rodgers, like I'm rooting for him and
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't know why. But the more he talks, it's
- 34:59Speaker 1: not even him talking because I don't care about the
- 35:00Speaker 1: conspiracy stuff. That's kind of interesting to me to hear.
- 35:03Speaker 1: But after the game, when his pass was intercepted, Mike
- 35:08Speaker 1: Williams right, he's like, you should have run the red line. Like,
- 35:11Speaker 1: even if you're right about that, you kind of as
- 35:14Speaker 1: the quarterback, as the veteran superstar, you kind of just
- 35:17Speaker 1: take the blame. And then behind closed doors go, hey, guys,
- 35:20Speaker 1: this is not really what like stopping you can't do that.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Don't be that dude.
- 35:24Speaker 2: You don't have to.
- 35:26Speaker 1: If you're going to be the leader at times, you
- 35:29Speaker 1: have to go and lead through different ways of just
- 35:31Speaker 1: the guy throwing the touchdown passes. I don't know, it's
- 35:33Speaker 1: starting to be annoying to me. As like a quarterback,
- 35:34Speaker 1: and I think always liked him as a quarterback because
- 35:36Speaker 1: he was fiery, he was dynamic. If he threw picks,
- 35:39Speaker 1: they were big picks, like he come back and win. No,
- 35:41Speaker 1: he didn't have a lot of comeback wins. I looked
- 35:43Speaker 1: at his stats. Really, he's not a big comeback.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I felt like when they had the ball at the
- 35:46Speaker 4: very end with two minutes left, they were going to
- 35:48Speaker 4: win the game.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Maybe somebody google down Mary's Yeah, I love his comeback
- 35:53Speaker 1: from behind winds. He does not have a lot. He's
- 35:55Speaker 1: not a big He's a guy who plays great with
- 35:57Speaker 1: the lead. Not a big comeback guy. But yeah, I'm
- 36:01Speaker 1: trying to root against him.
- 36:03Speaker 4: So with Adams going to the Jets, though, do you
- 36:05Speaker 4: think that's what they're missing, that that's gonna win games.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I think it's what makes Aaron happy for another couple
- 36:11Speaker 1: of weeks. But every time they've lost with the last
- 36:14Speaker 1: couple of weeks, there's been an excuse, so they fire
- 36:16Speaker 1: the coach. They blamed the receiver, we get another receiver. Like,
- 36:19Speaker 1: the headline has not been Aaron Rodgers sucks, it's been
- 36:22Speaker 1: something else that's happened inside of that organization. That's a
- 36:24Speaker 1: bigger headline than Aaron Rodgers sucks. Although he doesn't suck,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and he is throwing the ball pretty well, but again,
- 36:30Speaker 1: he's made a lot of bad decisions in the past
- 36:32Speaker 1: couple of weeks. So I think Mark Hooper probably is
- 36:36Speaker 1: the bigger get because I think the Bills have a
- 36:38Speaker 1: real opportunity now to run away with the East. Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: because all they have to do is win a decent
- 36:47Speaker 1: amount of games. The Jets, their defense is going to
- 36:51Speaker 1: get worse because their head coach, who had turned that
- 36:54Speaker 1: squad into a really good defensive squad, is not no
- 36:56Speaker 1: longer the coach of the team. So you're forgetting by
- 36:59Speaker 1: that part. Sure you Aaron Rodgers and Fonte Adams, but
- 37:01Speaker 1: that team was the Jets had a really good defense,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but you know, put the defense together and rant it
- 37:07Speaker 1: even though it wasn't defensive coordinator the head coach, and
- 37:09Speaker 1: now he's gone so.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I'm still going to root Aaron Rodgers.
- 37:13Speaker 5: I don't know all time. By the way, he's tied
- 37:16Speaker 5: at twenty eight of what went back from behind wins? Yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 5: twenty one total, he's tied at twenty eighth. Place like
- 37:23Speaker 5: he's tied with un Fouts, Carrie Collins.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Like losers and not losers, but like like we think
- 37:28Speaker 1: of him as losers. Dan Fouts, I don't remember, it's
- 37:30Speaker 1: too old. I remember the commentator. Yeah, I know why
- 37:33Speaker 1: you remember.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Him a playing No, I got like an NFL film's tape, okay,
- 37:36Speaker 4: and they had a little whole thing on Dan Fouts.
- 37:38Speaker 5: You're probably thinking of like Matt Stafford.
- 37:41Speaker 2: No, Dan Fouts.
- 37:42Speaker 5: No, no, I'm talking about comeback wins.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Sorry, No, I was.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Thinking of Aaron Rodgers. He's not good coming back twenty eighth.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Didn't know that was he in a PARLOA watched him
- 37:48Speaker 1: at what probably.
- 37:50Speaker 6: It says three wins in his entire career when trailing
- 37:53Speaker 6: by ten points or more in the fourth quarters.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Just not a good comeback guy. Great guy playing in
- 37:57Speaker 1: the lead, and obviously he's just imagine had he not
- 37:59Speaker 1: won the Once Bowl. I don't like playing the imagined game.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But let's do it because I'm kind of annoy abut
- 38:03Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers, but you root for him. Had he not
- 38:06Speaker 1: won the one Super Bowl, he would be the guy
- 38:10Speaker 1: that won't stop running his mouth who could have been
- 38:14Speaker 1: like to He needs to have like two or three
- 38:16Speaker 1: to be as mouthy as he is. Yeah, and that
- 38:18Speaker 1: was so long ago, so long ago. Anyway, teen years ago.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I'm confused and my root and form or not, I
- 38:22Speaker 1: don't know, but I'm going I'm going with the Bills.
- 38:23Speaker 1: All right, what else you got?
- 38:24Speaker 5: Last one? Both coming off their bye week? Which team
- 38:26Speaker 5: do you think is going to lose?
- 38:28Speaker 2: First?
- 38:28Speaker 5: The Vikings are the Chiefs.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Let's look at their schedules coming up. The Vikings have
- 38:32Speaker 1: the Lions tough. I would say toss up to l
- 38:38Speaker 1: It's definitely not a w The Rams they win that,
- 38:42Speaker 1: Colts they win that. The Jags they win that Tide
- 38:45Speaker 1: they win that. So I think the Vikings are probably
- 38:46Speaker 1: gonna win four or five, which is still awesome. They
- 38:49Speaker 1: could go if they there's no more. If they they
- 38:52Speaker 1: are because they've already won big games. Yeah, that that
- 38:55Speaker 1: we can't do that anymore. It's like if the Vikings
- 38:58Speaker 1: can pull this one out. Then what they've already they
- 39:00Speaker 1: whooped the Texans, right, Yeah, I'm not crazy with them. Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 1: so I believe in the Vikings. I believe. But if
- 39:08Speaker 1: they beat the Lions, they might run the thing for
- 39:11Speaker 1: a while. Yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 5: That's a tough That's the only one. As far as
- 39:13Speaker 5: the next few games.
- 39:14Speaker 1: The Chiefs forty nine ers, and you know, man, they
- 39:20Speaker 1: need a receiver, like I don't know who they've been
- 39:24Speaker 1: talking to or if they're even really trying to get one,
- 39:26Speaker 1: but what DeAndre Hopkins kind of fit over there?
- 39:30Speaker 2: That would be amazing.
- 39:32Speaker 1: That'd be a nice little get. The Titans don't need
- 39:33Speaker 1: to win games. The Titans now shouldn't win games. Their
- 39:35Speaker 1: season's over. Lose all the games. Keep Levison, you want
- 39:38Speaker 1: to lose, keep Levison, get your quarterback. But the Chiefs
- 39:42Speaker 1: playing the forty nine ers, toss up Raiders, they'll win
- 39:45Speaker 1: Bucks oh man, double, well, that should be a win.
- 39:49Speaker 1: But I would put win to the slight toss up category.
- 39:51Speaker 1: But it should be a win. Broncos they should beat,
- 39:54Speaker 1: but then the Bills. So I would say the Chiefs
- 39:56Speaker 1: have three semi too difficult games in the next five,
- 40:01Speaker 1: where the Vikings have one difficult game. The problem is
- 40:03Speaker 1: the Vikings game is next. I'm going to predict the
- 40:06Speaker 1: Chiefs when longer than the Vikings do. But after five weeks,
- 40:13Speaker 1: the Vikings have a better record, just because the schedule
- 40:16Speaker 1: is much easier for the Vikings.
- 40:17Speaker 5: As long as yeah, as soon as they get through
- 40:18Speaker 5: this week, if.
- 40:19Speaker 1: The Vikings beat the Lions, they're for real. I just said,
- 40:22Speaker 1: we can't say that, but still, let's imagine, because if
- 40:25Speaker 1: they beat the Lions, there'll be what seven to six
- 40:29Speaker 1: by week they came off?
- 40:32Speaker 2: Why did Jets have to play?
- 40:33Speaker 1: That's so weird. The Jets had had to play overseason
- 40:35Speaker 1: and they come back and have to play immediately. Everybody
- 40:37Speaker 1: else got to buy and then somebody stayed. Jack Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: what do you do that whole week in London?
- 40:45Speaker 2: What you Ben?
- 40:48Speaker 1: Big Ben?
- 40:51Speaker 2: What else?
- 40:51Speaker 1: Is so tough? I know that they are trying to
- 40:55Speaker 1: spread NFL around the world, and God love them, but
- 40:59Speaker 1: it so tough to be a single team playing in Europe.
- 41:02Speaker 1: It would be such a disadvantage. Let's say they moved
- 41:04Speaker 1: to Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Because they're the ones that play the most over there,
- 41:07Speaker 2: right every year?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah, they have played the most.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I do believe.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I do believe that that is true. But think about
- 41:14Speaker 1: that every away game you're traveling over. You would never
- 41:19Speaker 1: do one away game and they go back home. You'd
- 41:21Speaker 1: have to do two or three at a time and
- 41:22Speaker 1: play two or three at home at a time. But
- 41:23Speaker 1: if you're doing two or three at a time, you're
- 41:24Speaker 1: staying in a hotel, not at home for three weeks
- 41:27Speaker 1: at a time.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Yeah, tough.
- 41:29Speaker 1: It's kind of like Hawaiian college times. Everybody wants to
- 41:32Speaker 1: go to Hawaii. Yeah, but they have to travel too,
- 41:34Speaker 1: and think of the taxes you'd have to pay the
- 41:36Speaker 1: England or Hawaii is at least.
- 41:38Speaker 2: In America, that's the same country m h Man and well.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Whi though you a lot of those kids lived there already,
- 41:47Speaker 1: or these players wouldn't live in London originally and they
- 41:50Speaker 1: choose to go to Hawaii. Don'tant get to choose what
- 41:51Speaker 1: team you played for unless it's free agency.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Right you actually decided to do Yeah? Yeah, yeah, So
- 41:56Speaker 2: are they trying to get a team to be an
- 41:59Speaker 2: international team?
- 42:01Speaker 1: I don't or they not that anybody knows they're spreading,
- 42:05Speaker 1: but and there have been articles that I've read, and Kevin,
- 42:09Speaker 1: I'm sure you have two where they're like, if we
- 42:10Speaker 1: did it, we'd have to be like four teams in Europe.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it couldn't be just one.
- 42:13Speaker 1: It couldn't be just one. They would That would be
- 42:14Speaker 1: like a division like the AFC South and they play
- 42:17Speaker 1: each other twice and they're able to stay over there,
- 42:19Speaker 1: like a Germany team, a London team. But man, that's
- 42:21Speaker 1: a big jump to go from nobody in Europe and
- 42:23Speaker 1: all of a sudden you got four freaking teams.
- 42:25Speaker 4: I'm still convinced that they give free tickets to those
- 42:28Speaker 4: games hand out jerseys. I just can't see people, you're
- 42:32Speaker 4: European fans that crazy about American football.
- 42:37Speaker 1: You know, I would have maybe thought that twenty years ago,
- 42:41Speaker 1: but I think now I can't. The weird thing for
- 42:43Speaker 1: me is to see the Jacksonville Chicago game and there's
- 42:47Speaker 1: somebody wearing a Chiefs jersey, maybe not the Chiefs, but
- 42:50Speaker 1: somebody a Panthers jersey. Because there's every teams like Representati.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's like wrestling the Cardinals, and they would like plant
- 42:54Speaker 1: signs at times that they'd be like see them, Punk
- 42:56Speaker 1: is back and they're holding the sign up and like
- 42:58Speaker 1: nobody knew Sampunk was coming back this week and you're like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: why did that person have that sign? Like somebody gave
- 43:04Speaker 1: it to that.
- 43:04Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. I like there's people outside being like,
- 43:06Speaker 4: here's your Panthers jersey here.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Maybe not tickets, but maybe jerseys and something.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Because it's every team, every team represented, every team.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the un like every country's gotta flag there. Okay, Yeah, anyway,
- 43:20Speaker 1: if the Vikings win, that gets a line. I'm gonna
- 43:21Speaker 1: believe it. All right, that's tell title. Thank you name.
- 43:26Speaker 3: The town.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Let's build a parley. Anytime I've put Arkansas and we've lost,
- 43:36Speaker 1: so I'm feeling pretty good about it, let's go. Maybe
- 43:40Speaker 1: I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm gonna if so,
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it third. The Texas Georgia Games.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Fun.
- 43:46Speaker 1: That's an interesting game. Just uh, just who would you pick?
- 43:50Speaker 1: You know what, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna
- 43:51Speaker 1: do this differently. You can pick a game. I street
- 43:57Speaker 1: we're gonna triangle this thing. Oh yeah, so we can
- 44:00Speaker 1: blame one of us if it doesn't work. I like,
- 44:02Speaker 1: I'll like it better because then I'm gotta throw three
- 44:04Speaker 1: up if I miss one. It's my fault and I've
- 44:06Speaker 1: hit two or so. Screw you guys. I'm just gonna
- 44:08Speaker 1: pick one. I like it, So we're gonna do the
- 44:10Speaker 1: the parlay. Let me know whenever you have your game,
- 44:14Speaker 1: and I'll read some of these interesting ones, like Alabama
- 44:17Speaker 1: is minus three at Tennessee. I was a little surprised
- 44:21Speaker 1: by the line. I thought it would be more of
- 44:23Speaker 1: a pick them or maybe a one or a Tennessee one,
- 44:28Speaker 1: because that means they think that Alabama is six to
- 44:31Speaker 1: seven points better neutral field with the points that there
- 44:37Speaker 1: they give Tennessee. Does that makes sense?
- 44:39Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was a surprise. I thought, yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 5: if anything, Yeah, like you said one, Tennessee, maybe one.
- 44:46Speaker 5: But I'm gonna go I got mine, Okay, I watch
- 44:51Speaker 5: take it. I'm just gonna go with it.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Go in my heart.
- 44:54Speaker 5: Miami minus four and a half at Louisville.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel pretty good. I mean, Lovell has been ranked.
- 45:02Speaker 5: Yeah, they're they're a good team. I almost went money line,
- 45:04Speaker 5: but you're not gonna do anything of that.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we shouldn't allow money lines if we're doing this
- 45:09Speaker 1: version of it. When I was picking three teams picking
- 45:11Speaker 1: money line, I was like, I'm gonna lose.
- 45:14Speaker 5: All right, let's go Miami.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Okay, So Athlete of the Century goes Miami minus four
- 45:21Speaker 1: and a half at Louisville. Boom, Okay, Edward, Gosh, I'm close,
- 45:28Speaker 1: you know there, I'll go, yeah, go. Are you thinking
- 45:30Speaker 1: about the Texas game?
- 45:31Speaker 2: No, I'm not. I don't want to touch that game.
- 45:34Speaker 2: I'm thinking I'm thinking of SEC though.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Okay, I thought maybe you'd be thinking about that. Georgia
- 45:38Speaker 1: Texas Texas a five point favorite. I bet George Ways
- 45:42Speaker 1: that game. I bet George Ways the game.
- 45:46Speaker 2: So is that your bet?
- 45:47Speaker 1: No? But I bet you George wains a game because
- 45:51Speaker 1: nobody thinks George's gonna like, nobody thinks George is gonna
- 45:54Speaker 1: win the game. And that's so weird.
- 45:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I know Georgia, Yeah, yeah, I know. They're in Austin,
- 45:59Speaker 1: and no, nobody thinks Georgie is gonna win the game.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Uh okay, I'm gonna go Arkansas plus two and a half.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Let's go Eddie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sticking with the
- 46:15Speaker 2: SEC there. Bones.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Yeah. I like that.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Missouri over Auburn minus four the one that sticks out
- 46:22Speaker 2: to me. Auburn.
- 46:23Speaker 4: You know, I feel like I mean, we don't really
- 46:24Speaker 4: know Missouri, but I feel like they can take care
- 46:26Speaker 4: of them there at home. I think they can cover
- 46:29Speaker 4: four points against Auburn. Let's go that Missouri minus four.
- 46:33Speaker 1: That game is interesting to me. I wouldn't have touched
- 46:35Speaker 1: it because Auburn is getting better too, a little too
- 46:38Speaker 1: late for them to have a deep season. They are
- 46:40Speaker 1: getting better. Missouri have have kind of been put on
- 46:43Speaker 1: fraud watch.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I'm saying. I really don't know, but
- 46:47Speaker 2: I feel like they can handle Auburn.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Auburn almost beat Oklahoma. Auburn almost beat Arkansas.
- 46:52Speaker 4: Oklahoma, that's true, thank you. I was also looking at
- 46:57Speaker 4: Kansas versus Houston. Kansas is not I don't know what
- 47:00Speaker 4: happened to that I know, but but houstones.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Houston have a football team.
- 47:04Speaker 1: They're actually playing Kevin Sampson's basketball team. That's fine.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Okay, Well, then don't touch that one.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:09Speaker 2: So you're going with ye, I'm going with Missouri. What
- 47:12Speaker 2: is minus four?
- 47:13Speaker 1: Missouri minus four?
- 47:15Speaker 2: Ads at Missouri. So Auburn at.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Missouri at Missouri minus four Okay, uh yeah, got this
- 47:23Speaker 1: And if it's not up sometimes that don't put ours
- 47:25Speaker 1: up anymore.
- 47:25Speaker 6: Mike, you know why, No, I'll hit him right now.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we hit him up, said, we're hitting him in.
- 47:29Speaker 1: We're crushing it over there. Yeah. Actually we've only hit one,
- 47:33Speaker 1: but still there's we're crushing it over here and our
- 47:35Speaker 1: listeners are demanding it. We're only six weeks anything, Yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 1: so we're only what one for five do we hit
- 47:41Speaker 1: last week?
- 47:42Speaker 5: Nolo?
- 47:43Speaker 1: Oh never mind. If you want to take the twenty

- 48:25Speaker 1: feel about when someone goes, hey, can I ask your question?
- 48:29Speaker 1: I just did that. I know well, and when you
- 48:33Speaker 1: did that, I thought, man, I need talk about annoying
- 48:35Speaker 1: it ask good question.
- 48:36Speaker 4: And on my part too, it's like, am I really
- 48:40Speaker 4: wondering because you said no? And I'm like, dang it,
- 48:42Speaker 4: and now I'm stuck with a question, right, I really
- 48:44Speaker 4: want to know?
- 48:44Speaker 1: Because who heed? He goes, hey, can I ask your question?
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm like, I really if you were just asked me
- 48:49Speaker 1: the question, I would have. I could have also just
- 48:50Speaker 1: said no, I don't feel like answering. Uh huh, And
- 48:52Speaker 1: I thought I hate when people lass that. So I
- 48:54Speaker 1: just said no and he goes and I was just
- 48:56Speaker 1: stuck in a like for like thirty seconds and he
- 48:58Speaker 1: just asked it. Anyway, you just could have used that
- 49:01Speaker 1: same energy and said and asked the question.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I like it when I say question and people go answer.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I like that, you know what I mean, That's not
- 49:09Speaker 1: so bad. But you're not asking to ask, then I am. No,
- 49:13Speaker 1: You're just setting up that you're about to ask.
- 49:15Speaker 2: But I'm not going to say a question then immediately
- 49:17Speaker 2: ask it. I wait for a response.
- 49:18Speaker 4: Question No, okay, So it's the same thing I don't
- 49:24Speaker 4: think so, because I think question.
- 49:26Speaker 1: If you go like Dwight on the office question, you
- 49:28Speaker 1: just asked a question. If you ask kind of ask
- 49:30Speaker 1: the question, you're actually asking a question, which is what
- 49:33Speaker 1: you're asking if you can do. But you're already doing
- 49:35Speaker 1: what you're asking if you can do. You just asked
- 49:37Speaker 1: me a question by you saying, can I ask you
- 49:39Speaker 1: a question? Understood?
- 49:40Speaker 4: I guess I'm just waiting for your attention. I'm waiting
- 49:43Speaker 4: for your full undivided attention, but.
- 49:45Speaker 1: You never got it. I was so annoyed by the
- 49:47Speaker 1: question I didn't focus on something else purposefully. I had
- 49:50Speaker 1: nothing else to focus on, but I was like, I
- 49:51Speaker 1: don't want to focus on him anymore.
- 49:53Speaker 2: That's pretty funny. I didn't realize that annoyed.
- 49:55Speaker 1: You Can I ask you a question? Yes? And you did,
- 49:59Speaker 1: so we're done to So that's our quota of one today.
- 50:01Speaker 1: We are not complete perfect. And then the question up
- 50:04Speaker 1: being about somebody we work with it we don't even
- 50:05Speaker 1: know what they do for.
- 50:05Speaker 2: We don't even know that.
- 50:06Speaker 1: No one knew the answer.
- 50:07Speaker 2: So it was a hell of a question.
- 50:10Speaker 1: But it's still the thing is announced still thinking about it,
- 50:12Speaker 1: and it wasn't that I didn't want to answer a question.
- 50:14Speaker 1: It was just who says, can I ask you a
- 50:16Speaker 1: question anymore?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Do people not say that?
- 50:18Speaker 5: I say it all I've heard reads it quite a bit.
- 50:20Speaker 1: No, I know I was going to ask REGOs.
- 50:22Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Read is yeah, hey, hey, hey, I was going to
- 50:27Speaker 1: ask if you had any more tickets.
- 50:29Speaker 7: Just I think it's because in my mind it feels
- 50:31Speaker 7: better with like a little bit of a cushion before
- 50:33Speaker 7: I go into the actual question, which is.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Fine, but I was going to ask, and then asking
- 50:39Speaker 1: in the same structure, it doesn't make sense, doesn't make
- 50:43Speaker 1: at all. Like you know, I was thinking, I'm not
- 50:46Speaker 1: really going to today, but I was going to ask
- 50:48Speaker 1: this question, and then the question is like no, no,
- 50:51Speaker 1: you just said it all up by saying you weren't
- 50:53Speaker 1: really but where you could just go question, well, what
- 50:57Speaker 1: does that really mean?
- 50:58Speaker 3: Though?
- 50:58Speaker 2: Reid?
- 50:58Speaker 1: Are you scared the question? He's absolutely scared because he's
- 51:01Speaker 1: asking of you or asking something.
- 51:04Speaker 5: From you tickets.
- 51:05Speaker 1: I'm always scared to ask a question. He's always because
- 51:07Speaker 1: he'll never go I was gonna ask if I could
- 51:11Speaker 1: rub your feet because that would be something he's doing
- 51:14Speaker 1: for someone anything.
- 51:15Speaker 7: I mean even if it's like if I was going
- 51:17Speaker 7: to go out of town and I was making sure
- 51:18Speaker 7: we didn't have anything, I'd be like, I was going
- 51:21Speaker 7: to ask, can I go out of town this weekend?
- 51:23Speaker 1: It's always something for him because he's nervous, nervous, I
- 51:27Speaker 1: got it, but he never asks. He never I was
- 51:31Speaker 1: going to ask if he's going to do something for us?
- 51:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 51:35Speaker 5: He never thought about that.
- 51:36Speaker 7: Yeah, if that's I would just be like, hey, I'm
- 51:38Speaker 7: gonna go get this for you, or would you like
- 51:41Speaker 7: me to get this for you?
- 51:42Speaker 1: That's funny, but he softens up with that. I was
- 51:44Speaker 1: gonna ask, do you have any more tickets to your show?
- 51:47Speaker 1: My friend what Stone?
- 51:50Speaker 3: Oh?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Stone Stone Stone? Sometimes Dawson Stone and Dawson need forty
- 51:57Speaker 1: one tickets. I was going to ask, if you have
- 51:59Speaker 1: any forty one? I was gonna all That's why I
- 52:04Speaker 1: didn't ask, though, because I knew forty one would be
- 52:05Speaker 1: too mine. No no, no no.
- 52:06Speaker 2: And if you tell him, you know what, he didn't
- 52:08Speaker 2: expect to hear.
- 52:09Speaker 1: He goes, that's why.
- 52:09Speaker 2: That's why I.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Figures why, Like, if you do have to say no,
- 52:14Speaker 1: you're right, He's like yeah, yeah, yeah, that's why I didn't.
- 52:16Speaker 1: That's why I didn't ask, or like, no, you you asked.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I love it read I was gonna ask you just
- 52:23Speaker 1: be you man a man. He doesn't do it as
- 52:25Speaker 1: much anymore because we call him out on it. Yeah,
- 52:28Speaker 1: call him, well he would say it. Now it's like, oh,
- 52:30Speaker 1: since you were going to ask, so you're not actually asking?
- 52:34Speaker 2: No, No, I I am. Yeah.
- 52:37Speaker 1: And then Eddie, can I ask you a question?
- 52:39Speaker 2: You know what?
- 52:40Speaker 4: I realized I also do at restaurants. I always say please,
- 52:44Speaker 4: well kid, why is that bad?
- 52:46Speaker 3: No?
- 52:47Speaker 2: You know what, it's not just please?
- 52:48Speaker 1: You know what I do restaurants. It's weird, but I
- 52:50Speaker 1: tip white what no?
- 52:51Speaker 2: No?
- 52:51Speaker 1: No.
- 52:51Speaker 2: It's like when I order, can I have? Can I
- 52:56Speaker 2: please have the macaroni and cheese?
- 52:58Speaker 1: Please?
- 52:58Speaker 2: At all? How is it not we like?
- 53:00Speaker 1: Why am I asking them permission? I don't know them,
- 53:02Speaker 1: but are they going to say, like, no, you may not. No,
- 53:05Speaker 1: that's just the kind of thing. It's just it's just
- 53:06Speaker 1: a uh manners thing.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Really, I just thought it was weird because I'm like,
- 53:12Speaker 4: I should really just be saying I'll take the mac
- 53:16Speaker 4: and cheese.
- 53:17Speaker 5: See that sounds aggressive to me.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Really, I think I think it's forward. I think it's
- 53:22Speaker 1: that sounds fine as well, but I don't think please
- 53:24Speaker 1: is anything other than you're just being soft and it's
- 53:27Speaker 1: a nice guy.
- 53:27Speaker 4: And I think I noticed my brother doing it first,
- 53:29Speaker 4: and I'm like, dang, I do that too, and it's
- 53:31Speaker 4: very like, so, can I please have a little doctor
- 53:35Speaker 4: pepper with mac and cheese?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Please? If you say twice, that's what I'm saying, and
- 53:40Speaker 1: I've never heard you say it's I think now you're
- 53:43Speaker 1: amplifying it because we told you it wasn't that big
- 53:45Speaker 1: of a deal. I say, please, please, please, please. I
- 53:51Speaker 1: was going to ask if I could ask you a question.
- 53:54Speaker 1: That's what I figured him with Eddie double Man, Tom
- 53:58Speaker 1: Brady now owns part of the so him and his
- 54:01Speaker 1: partner on ten percent. So I guess Brady owns five
- 54:03Speaker 1: percent his partner, Yeah, his business partner. Business partner. So
- 54:07Speaker 1: him and his business partner, Tom Wagner paid over two
- 54:10Speaker 1: hundred million bucks, so they have a share ten percent
- 54:12Speaker 1: stake in the team, which is fun and fine, but
- 54:16Speaker 1: there are just a lot of conditions that Tom Brady
- 54:17Speaker 1: has to work under now that he's also in the booth.
- 54:21Speaker 1: And when you're in the booth and you're one of
- 54:23Speaker 1: the guys. He's doing the color for these games. You know,
- 54:25Speaker 1: there's two days leading up to it where you're interviewing
- 54:28Speaker 1: with some of the coaches, some of the players. But
- 54:30Speaker 1: there's so many things he can't do now because he's
- 54:32Speaker 1: the owner of another team. Number One, he's not permitted
- 54:34Speaker 1: to be in another team's facility. The end, he cannot
- 54:38Speaker 1: be another team's facility. He's the owner of this.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Team practice facility, right, not the stage.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Well, he can like pay for tickets to the game.
- 54:44Speaker 1: But I'm saying, like, yes, yes, any of but how's
- 54:47Speaker 1: he gonna the booth, Like, what do you know you
- 54:49Speaker 1: can be in, Well, you can buy tickets and also
- 54:51Speaker 1: get there. That's not part of the team facility. But
- 54:53Speaker 1: the facilities, like the offices where they practic any of that,
- 54:56Speaker 1: And what.
- 54:56Speaker 5: Are their practices a couple of days before and they'll
- 54:58Speaker 5: be like, oh, saw them run that in practice?
- 55:01Speaker 1: They specifically, aside from the facility part, cannot go to
- 55:05Speaker 1: a team's practice like that whole other line. Wow, So
- 55:07Speaker 1: he can't go into like the offices, can't go into
- 55:10Speaker 1: the other teams, can't watch a practice, cannot attend in
- 55:13Speaker 1: person or virtual broadcast production meetings with coaches or players,
- 55:17Speaker 1: which happens every week, so you know they talk to
- 55:20Speaker 1: the coaches, talk to the players the night before, just
- 55:22Speaker 1: to have some context to what's gonna happen. Ye can
- 55:25Speaker 1: do none of that. Cannot publicly criticize officials and other clubs.
- 55:31Speaker 1: So I wonder if he can't even say that seems
- 55:33Speaker 1: like a blown call there, Chuck. Yeah, that's there's a
- 55:36Speaker 1: lot of these. Must follow NFL's gambling policy, that's fine,
- 55:39Speaker 1: who cares. Must follow NFL's anti tampering policies, which is tampering.
- 55:44Speaker 1: He can't really talk to players generally, meaning he can't
- 55:50Speaker 1: do like he can't like tweet at them. There's like
- 55:56Speaker 1: a strict social communication policy follow But it's all the
- 56:01Speaker 1: things that he probably would not be adhering to had
- 56:04Speaker 1: he not bought the team.
- 56:06Speaker 2: But he's being paid.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Three hundred and seventy five five million dollars over ten years.
- 56:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you think that this is strategic to where like
- 56:17Speaker 4: this is great. All I have to do is just
- 56:18Speaker 4: show up.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I think he didn't trying to buy a team forever. Yeah,
- 56:22Speaker 1: part of it was he's gonna buy the part of
- 56:23Speaker 1: the Dolphins years ago. Yeah, and go play and go
- 56:25Speaker 1: play for them.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 56:27Speaker 5: So No, iagin't even Burkhart the lead guy on the broadcast.
- 56:30Speaker 1: And has got to carry all. They should bring somebody
- 56:32Speaker 1: else in with them. Yeah, but Bray, here's the thing.
- 56:35Speaker 1: We don't care.
- 56:37Speaker 2: No, we don't. I don't care about that.
- 56:39Speaker 1: But no, we literally don't care. It's not gonna make
- 56:40Speaker 1: the broadcast any better or worse. No, you're right, we
- 56:42Speaker 1: don't care. It's Tom Brady, though.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I don't like it when Troygman says like, well, I
- 56:45Speaker 4: talked to him last week and he said.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I never watched a full half and go, wow, they
- 56:51Speaker 1: haven't mentioned they talked to somebody. I really wish they
- 56:53Speaker 1: would give me the insight about the interview they had
- 56:54Speaker 1: last night. So I'm sure it does provide some in depth,
- 57:00Speaker 1: some ability to have some in depth analysis. But you
- 57:03Speaker 1: know what the most in depth analysis of all time is,
- 57:05Speaker 1: it's when it comes from somebody who's won seven freaking
- 57:07Speaker 1: Super Bowls and played.
- 57:08Speaker 2: In the league that long.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Again, so is it weird he has it really gonna
- 57:12Speaker 1: affect us. No, it's a fun story, but the fact
- 57:15Speaker 1: and also makes his life a lot easier. Break if
- 57:18Speaker 1: you bring show up, I think you can be fine.
- 57:22Speaker 1: The team can be fine. Like if he breaks the
- 57:24Speaker 1: rules and he's he knows the rules, breaks them anyway,
- 57:29Speaker 1: they start suspending money, but then draft picks. I would
- 57:33Speaker 1: just have a bunch of post its like don't say this,
- 57:36Speaker 1: don't like if I feel like he could do nothing
- 57:38Speaker 1: except show up to the end. He doesn't even know
- 57:40Speaker 1: what game he's broadcasting. It's like when they do the
- 57:42Speaker 1: bat Race, they blindfold you and spin you. They're like,
- 57:44Speaker 1: all right, Tom, put the blindfold on, get on the plane.
- 57:47Speaker 1: He he does, no, he lands. They don't even know
- 57:49Speaker 1: where he is. They walk him up to the booth
- 57:51Speaker 1: blindfold on. All right, Tom, We're two minutes from going on.
- 57:55Speaker 1: They pull it off and it's like the music starts, Okay,
- 57:57Speaker 1: where oh wow? In London?
- 58:01Speaker 5: Jackson bears.
- 58:02Speaker 1: But he had no idea leading up to it.
- 58:04Speaker 2: I thought we were in Chicago.
- 58:06Speaker 1: It's like, amazing race, that would be funny. He has
- 58:10Speaker 1: no idea what game he has. He doesn't get to know.
- 58:12Speaker 1: But that's the situation with Tom Brady. But they could
- 58:15Speaker 1: also pull him out of the booth and they could
- 58:19Speaker 1: put him as one of the talking heads there's a
- 58:20Speaker 1: lot of value in Tom Brady. Oh yeah, but they're
- 58:22Speaker 1: not going to he doesn't need to talk with it.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Sean Payton he does the night before he's played Sean Payton.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:33Speaker 1: So uh, that's a lot of It's just a lot
- 58:34Speaker 1: of money. Three and sixty million dollars thirty six million
- 58:37Speaker 1: dollars a year roughly, And you really can do no
- 58:39Speaker 1: work leading.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Up to the game. Pretty amazing.
- 58:41Speaker 1: That would be like me doing the radio show, just
- 58:45Speaker 1: showing up, And there are guys that do that, but
- 58:49Speaker 1: it could be me like knowing like I wake up,
- 58:52Speaker 1: don't look at Twitter, don't know anything that's happening, to
- 58:56Speaker 1: show up to the building and like, okay, guys, I
- 58:58Speaker 1: could have no conference with anyone and go and just
- 59:02Speaker 1: start a freaking shoe.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 4: And I guess it could be easier for him since
- 59:05Speaker 4: he just started doing this, so there's really like no
- 59:08Speaker 4: different It's not like you've been doing it for ten years, Like, oh,
- 59:11Speaker 4: how am I gonna do this?
- 59:12Speaker 2: Like usually how I prep is I go talk to
- 59:14Speaker 2: the coach or usually I do this? Usually I do that.
- 59:16Speaker 2: He just started, you know, five six weeks ago. Fair.
- 59:20Speaker 1: I think he could also be harder because he doesn't
- 59:21Speaker 1: get the tools that other people get just even be
- 59:23Speaker 1: halfway decent.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Yeah, he has to.
- 59:25Speaker 1: He's just gonna have to learn a different way. So
- 59:26Speaker 1: probably in the end it's gonna be the same. He'll
- 59:30Speaker 1: just have to develop a different set of habits. Yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 1: but I wish I felt bad for him.
- 59:35Speaker 2: I don't.
- 59:35Speaker 1: He owns part of a team and is sitting on
- 59:37Speaker 1: billions of dollars, so yeah, cool, it's gonna be amount
- 59:41Speaker 1: of tricks and treats and of course many many touchdowns.

- 1:00:57Speaker 1: update on meeting Dan Patrick at the Oh Yeah Marconi's
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that I hosted, and I you know, I had some
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Dan Patrick jokes and stuff ready to go, and I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: was a little wordy. He get more than anybody's gonna
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: get upset if I like roast him a little bit
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: if I don't know that sure, And I love Dan Patrick,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and so I was a little nervous and I was like, hey,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: what table. I want to know what table he was
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: at so I could kind of see if he thought
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: it was funny. And so he did not come, Oh,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I'm a joke.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I did a joke.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I acted like he was there and did a joke.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: So Mike had written a joke Dan Patrick ish, and
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I took a part of something I learned from his joke,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and then I put it into a joke that I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: wrote the rest stuff. So it's kind of like a
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Mike's joke and my joke had a baby oh wow,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and delivered that and we yeah, we just delivered that
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: on stage joke. So because he was winning an award,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I was like, and I acted like I thought Dan
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Patrick was there, because I think everybody else thought he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: might have been too, because it's pretty big room. I'm
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: just gonna go from what I remember. Probably will be
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: as funny when I say it, because I don't remember
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the joke exactly how I wrote it. But I was like,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I'm so excited that Dan Patrick is here. He's been
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: one of my heroes for as long as I've been
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: in broadcast. And also I thought he was really cool
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: before I even got into radio, like my three something like,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the three things that I really admire about his career are.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Number One, he was like the first person to mesh
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: sports and pop culture, which to this day he's still
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: known as being like the goat. Number two was one
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: of those one of the first guys from that generation
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: of ESPN to turn into a highly successful radio talk
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: show host, very entertaining and a very trusted source. And
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I was like, and number three and most importantly, he's
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: able to charge two hundred dollars for a cameo, and
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: so because he does, he does, he does, And so
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I got a big laugh. And then I didn't have
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the heart to tell me he wasn't there because I
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: saw people like looking around for him, but I've been
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: told he wasn't there, so that kind of sucked. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: not wanted to meet him.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: No, no, no, get a chance to.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Did you think about what you're gonna call him? Like
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Danny boy, Danny p No?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Because I asked early on, I thought Hey, maybe I
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: should meet up beforehand. I was like, hey, when does
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Dan Patrick get here? And agent was like, oh, yeah,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he's not going. And I was like, well, I have
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: this joke I was gonna do about him, and he
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: was like, uh, what's what's the joke? And I was like,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: it's a great point. He didn't say do it anyway.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I just in my head I was like, it doesn't
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: matter what the joke is. I just act like I
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: think he's here. And so I told him the joke
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and he was like, oh, it's funny joke.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: If he'd have been here.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I was like, screw that, I'm saying it anyway, and
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: he was like, well, I'm not here. So yeah, I
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: told the joke, got it, got a big life nice,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: which was nice. So that's the update. But I did
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: not get to meet Dan Patrick, which is what I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: was looking forward to. And the other update is we
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: still can't tell you what we can't tell you him.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Dang.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: People still keep hitting me up like what is it?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Can't tell you? I hate it. I can't tell I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: mean I almost can't tell.
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: They're really draw this out, getting to that point.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Where it's like I can tell you because even if
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: it happens, we don't tell you why.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Yeah right, that's true, but you don't want to risk
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: just give it a little more time.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: If it doesn't happen this week, I'm just gonna be like,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: screw it until you next week. I'm not dragging this
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: out for any reason, for content reasons, I promise. So
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: it's not that great a content. It's just something real cool.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I would love to have said initially, but I even asked, hey,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: can I say this, and they said no, not yet.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: But then a couple of things happened.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: It's one of those things where you build it up
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: and you're like, I swear it's not like the biggest
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: thing in the world, but I just can't do this.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I know we built it up so much. It's not
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: going to live up to the high but it's really cool.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: But it is really cool.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: It's really cool, So okay, cool game last night. I'm
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: telling your boat next is terrible and awesome. I said it,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I've said it. I've said it many times. That throw
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: he one where he missed the front receiver threw it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: over his head.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: And I'm not gonna lie and to see any of it.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: You watch it, You see the clip were No, we
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: were at a I was at a concert.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: List Why don't I watched very very I just watched
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: all the clips this morning of it.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: You're on a sports podcast, and he didn't watch clips
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: on it.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: I mean as intriguing as the Broncos and Saints were
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: last night.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Terrible. You know it's terrible. I don't watch. I watched
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: six minutes of it, but then I went and watch
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: all the clips back. Nobody was yeah, no, and.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: You know, what's that bad? But you don't even see
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: clips of it. I've been on social.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Media today, but the Broncos are now. I saw Spencer
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Ratler one play three and three or four and two
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: or four and three, one three, four three, four and three.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: It's crazy. There was the Saints have won two. Oh yeah, god.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I declared the Saints are greatest team in the history
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: of football after this week two that she tells you
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: how bout the Cowboys are too true?
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Do you want to play?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I had nothing to do with anyone know, I'm telling you, Yeah,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: America's team got run. There was a throw that bon
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Knicks made and again bow Nix's I love Bonnicks because
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: he just goes hard and when he sucks, it sucks
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: real bad. When he's awesome, be like, oh, there's some
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: there's a high ceiling.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: There was a throw. One guy ran basically hook another
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: guy was in the end zone and somehow he dropped
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: in the middle of both wide open receivers. It's unbelievable.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. I did see the clip.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: I just.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: You had to throw it perfectly bad, because if you
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: throw it bad a little long, the guy in the
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: back catches it. Yeah, if you're trying to throw the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: guy long, you though a little short the guy in
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the front. It was a perfect terrible throw. Oh, here's
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the thing about bone Nicks. Ilways wondered why I had
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: like this kinship to bow Nicks. His dad was the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: head football coach in Henderson State. When I was going
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: to school there, really and I was, I used to
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: do play by play and color for the team Division two.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I would do play by play whenever we were home
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: because they would put two of us together. It's not commercial,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: small commercial radio stessions. But then when I would travel
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: with the team, I'd have to do both. They couldn't
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: afford to send two people. But his so, would you
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: do him in two different voices? No, that would have
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: been funny, or asked myself questions, Right, right, I figured
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: that's something you would have had the same role as
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Brady had. But his dad, Patrick was the head football
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: coach that's cool. And I also saw a thing was
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: like every state where every starting quarterback is from. And
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I had bow Knicks picture in Arkansas where he's born,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: but because the dad was the head football coach Patrick Kansas,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and I remember Patrick next being like a star Auburn quarterback,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: which is where Bowe ended up going.
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: Yeah, he was like the second coming to Jesus over there, right,
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: But uh, we know.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: When say that I put my mouth and say that
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: somebody's punch ticket to Hell.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: That wouldn't.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: But yeah, I would like talk to coach Nicks ahead
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: of games and stuff.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I never put it all together. Why I was fad this?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Huh When did you realize that?
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: When I?
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I think I've always known it because I wasn't like,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: oh I didn't know that, but because I always knew
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: coach Patrick Knicks was the coach. I knew bow was
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: his son who's going to Auburn because that. But I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: never really put it all together like when we're talking
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: about it. And then I saw this graphic before every
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: starting quarterback was born, and I was like, how is
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: he born in? I was like, oh my god. I
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: used to call it play by player where Patrick next
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: was the football coach. That's crazy, so basically boning our cousins. Yeah,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: for sure, for sure Arkansas. I mean you know that's true.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: You know, let's see games we care about. Alabama and
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Tennessee is fun. Alabama is a three point favorite on
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the road at Tennessee. That's pick them to me, just
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: to flip the coin. Yeah, I go Alabama. I go Alabama.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: I think Alabama is just a better Tennessee loses because
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it feels like they didn't, but it feels like they
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: lost to Florida. Yeah, was the only reason they want
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: us because uh, they're starting quarterback got hurt.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Yeah, went to.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Overd NFL Like Alabama lost to South Carolina but they didn't.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: But they didn't but they didn't and they didn't have
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: to win because somebody got hurt and were an' they
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: playing in South Carolina there were Yeah, so h well,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: maybe I just watched more of it because they're in
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: a parlay.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Like any when you watch so much football, it's hard
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: started do.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: You buy Sunday afternoon games after Saturday?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm tired.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: I don't like I am mentally, I can even I
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: need to watch some.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: Because I remember there were three four overtime games last week.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Couldn't tell you who they were other than the one
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: we just mentioned.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Alorida, Tennessee.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Okay those two. There there were like three or four
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: overtime games.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: South Carolina game they kicked an onside kick. Now remember
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: it because I watched it. They kicked it out, South
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Carolina scored ye. Then they kicked an onside kick, recovered it,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: and then do an interception over the back.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Yeah the goal line.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, uh yeah. That'll be a fun game.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: So I care about that one. L s U Arkansas.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: L s U as of right now, is a two
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and a half point favorite at Arkansas. I think we
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: can win this game. Are you going No, I'm not
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: going to go.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: You're not going to games? Yeah?
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Are you going to any of this year?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I'll go to Texas probably, especially if we win this one.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I kind of have to pick and choose. I can't
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: go to every one, get that, And I'm have a
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: couple other things. I'm doing a fa in the next
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: couple of months, so it's I would love to go,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: but also it's kind of a pain in the butt sometimes,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Like I like watching it on TV.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Oh, get in there, getting situated watching the game, leaving this.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: And I love being there. It's my favorite place to be.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: But there's also I have to do a little politic
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: in as well if I go m M. And that's
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: fine and great and I like it and I love
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: doing it.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: But but you're right, nothing beats sitting at home watching
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: your team on TV by yourself.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, by yourself, yea yeah not Hey, we this person
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: wanted to come meet you. It's the middle of the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: third quarter and it's a close game and I love
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: meeting no, but it's like, can we do it between quarters?
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Okay, it's a great problem to have, get me wrong,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and you never say that you met. I'm up in
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: a suite. I'm like living it up and I'm like,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I'm so annoyed. But it is like the one thing
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: I love is like watching games.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Uh so, so Texas is in faille nice, that's gonna.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Be awesome and that game will will really matter if
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: we beat LSU. Yeah, if we beat LSU, that game
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: will matter matter. It's what would be super cool because
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: we we won lost one conference game, which were so stupid.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Should have lost that game. And then Georgia at Texas.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: That's a fun one. I think I'm pulling personal bias.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I'm most interested at that game. Oh yeah, Georgia, who's
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: been the big dog versus Texas? Who's supposed to be
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: the big dog? Texas hasn't we talked about earlier? Text
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: hasn't really played any want Michigan.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Yeah, the Michigan is not what are they?
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: What are they?
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: So, but they are killing teams Texas.
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they're blowing everybody.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: They're killing teams. That's the only reason I think that
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: they can handle this. I mean, I was never really
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: impressed with Georgia until gosh, what's the what's someone where
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: they almost came back? Was that Georgia Bama Bama. Yeah,
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: that's the only time I was really like convinced, Okay,
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: they got something here when they came back strong, try
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: to come back and win that game.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Well, but nobody played anybody like you talking about TXTA
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: or they didnt play anybody earlier. There was really no
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: reason to be yes or no because they it wasn't
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: like they both had the LSU notre Dame.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Texas did. I mean they put Michigan on the schedule.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: You're ago when they thought Michigan would be good. But
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: with Texas, we're still looking at Michigan, like what even
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: are they? But Georgia, they really haven't played anybody Alabama,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: but they lost.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: They almost lost to Kentucky, that's true. They did almost
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: the game Missisippi.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: That Kentucky game sucked. Yeah, I was rooting for Kentucky.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Pick time you got to write that was it thirteen
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: to twelve or something?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: And stoops not Bob his brother in case you wondered,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: because Bob was on the show earlier this week didn't
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: go four and fourth down and they like roasted him
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: over it.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, who else?
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: The Georgia almost goes two? Nobody? Right, Missy State game
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: is closer than thirty one? Twenty one was missive taking as. Yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: well I didn't watch any of it, but I looked
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: at the score and I was like, oh my god,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: maybe Georgia does suck.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: But they did want Clemson week one.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I know that was a long time, but now, yeah,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: you're right, you're right they whooped it, and I guess
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I didn't consider that real game as Clemson sucked. Yeah,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: but now Clemson kind of doesn't suck.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Angain Yeah, they were like confused.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: You're right, they did schedule a tough game at the beginning,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: but we didn't feel like it was that tough because
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Cmpson it sucked for a while.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: Yeah, now they're in the top ten.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You're like, oh, okay, but they're only playing high school.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Now that's true. Let's think about us on the show.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: We don't know anything, and we also forget everything. Gets
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: a bad it's a bad mix of really not knowing
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: anything and forgetting everything.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: It's frustrating because I watch every game and then I
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: come on, I'm like that happened.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm also just wrong about stuff. Even though
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I did watch the game, Like.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: Dude, I've watched from eleven to one in the morning.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: It was that Colorado game last last week, like State, Yeah,
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Colorado can't stay.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I watched the.
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: Whole thing because my mom's in town and she loves
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: watching football. She will watch football with me from eleven am.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: To one in the morning.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: And your was awesome.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: It's pretty amazing.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Weird to be tired from just watching a bunch of football. Yeah,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: that's what happens to me. Like, I'm so tired.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: Why my girlfriends from watching football?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: If you didn't play. I'm like, I was watching a lot,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: and I have upstairs, have like three TVs all beside
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: each other basically, and and I put the video game
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: in the middle sometimes. But you know, I got a
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: bunch of bets up. It's mental it is mental stress.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: It's like it's like a road trip. You drive eight hours.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: You feel like, well, I didn't do anything to sit there,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: but your mind had to stay active the whole times.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Everybody didn't die. That's my mind has to stay active
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: the whole time watching football. So don't go broke gambling
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: away on mone right, right, NFL games we care about.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna put the Patriots in Jaguars game
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: in this because because it's whomever loses should just have
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: to give their players up for expansion.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: That's funny, except for Drake Man.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: No, also with Drake Man. Jags are five and half
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: point favorite, and they are in Jacksonville Falcon Seahawks. Oh
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: that's right, Yeah, that's right, Well jackson I guess it's
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a home game. Yeah that's so it sucks because they've
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: been there for a week. Yeah, maybe last week. But yeah,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: it's like for the poor jet imagine that First of all,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you have to be a Jaguar. Second of all, that's
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the first bad thing. Yeah yeah, yeah, all the teams
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you have to be a Second of all, you have
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: to go play games overseas, which sucks because everything is
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: smaller over there too.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: What do you mean I've never been What do you
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: mean like buildings are small? People? Yeah? People?
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: No, In America, we waste a lot of space.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: Real, Oh they don't. They don't have land, there's no
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: there's no room.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: And New York here is what I would compare them.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: It's not as tight as New York, but the hotel
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: rooms in New York City are tiny because there's no
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: room in like London. It's not quite New York, but
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: it's like there's no there's no room for anything.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Big Ben is it big? Eh?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: They don't skyscrapers. They'd have a few, but but it's
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: not like our big cities where the buildings in Europe
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: generally are like wide and they go on for a block.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: We just built them straight up.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Is everything old?
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Yes, but old in a cool way of you go, well,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I can't believe they are actually people that lived at
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: this time, because we didn't have that lived within like rules,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: a civilization with rule was here in twelve hundred Native America.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: There was nothing, no building there.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, significant civilization, yeah, like significant buildings that are still
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: their churches like like this this church was built in
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: the thirteen hundreds, but and it's still there. In even
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Walk it's wild. Yeah, I've never seen it like that's amazing.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Like in Mountain Pine, we had like one building from
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: the sixties. It was like an old gym that lived
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: nineteen sixties.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: That was that was it.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Seahawks and Falcons is interesting. Uh not because the teams
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: are Because are the Falcons any good? All the Seahawks
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: are going to be halfway decent again, Titans of Bills.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Bill should just run with that, right, Bengals of Browns?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Good? It look good.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: A little stretch for the Bengals have They're two and
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: four now, right? Yeah? Yeah they want Yeah, they should
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: pound the Browns.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: They should get right back in the.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Mix, just as I predicted.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: It's pretty amazing.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I predicted. I just bet on it because I'm like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: they're they should make the playoffs even though they went
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: zero and four, right, they starting.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Four one and one to five.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: One and four? You bet one three one and then lost.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: You bet that they would win super Bow the whole thing.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: You have only but one hundred bucks, rememberhen you guess
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: like applauded me. That's right, that's right. Yeah for not
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: spending ten thousand dollars. Yeah, you were like, great, you
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: only proud of you. Uh, Texans at Packers. That's a
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: fun one.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: That's gonna be a good one.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Packers two and a half point favorite on the road.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: So by say coin flip there neutral site, coin flip,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: offensive colts and nobody cares.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Although Anthony Richardson is playing.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Yeah once, I mean to us coming back? They say.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Week ten or something.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I think I saw you did see something.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a time.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: It was a timeline. I haven't seen any sort of timeline.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: It popped up.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: I didn't look into it, but when it pops on
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: my phone, it's that's the Bible. It's like, oh, okay,
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: going back, let's true week ten. What was the source?
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: I think it was more of like Coach McDaniels is saying,
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: they're looking at that time that time.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I'm surprised, Uh, maybe two doesn't remember saying you to
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: come back. He's like I said, I didn't yeah, we said, Okay,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you know what, I don't remember. We've seen it to
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Eddie's phone, So you have to lines of Vikings. That's fun.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Vikings two point favorite. Eagles at Giants. Eagles are only
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: a three point favorite.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Wow, who would have thunk?
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Who would have thought that Eagles are going to be
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: playing like that?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Raiders and Rams? Nobody cares? Panthers and commanders commanders should
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: run that game good, which is weird to say commanders
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: should run anything if they keep doing what they're doing.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Are the commanders going in then feast? I mean, yeah,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: it looks like that right now't gonna be the I
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: mean the cow and we are five hundred, so I
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: mean it's not over.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: But things have to change, what.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: You major, But nothing's going to change unless something changes.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: So what's going to change?
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: I don't know, man, Because again you can say, yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: you're right, I don't know what the answer is.
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: Mike Zimmer's got to be a big disappointment, huh, decoordinator. Sure,
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: I thought he's gonna be great for you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Sure, I mean we did. I mean dan Quinn was awesome,
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Yeah I know so so, but I thought he'd be.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Better than this yes, yeah, why are you But you're
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: blaming him.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: I'm not the defense's he's the boss, right, Like the
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: defense just looks like crap and they can't stop anything.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: They can't stop a run, so we think like, okay,
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: we can't stop the run. That's it, and then our
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: dvs are just terrible.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: So light counterpoint. Yeah, if the offense sucks and the
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: defense is always out there, they have no choice but
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to just be exhausted and exposed. So you can put
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: the best defense out there, but the offense cannot move
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: the ball or score in the defense. It's why teams
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: that score a bunch of points in college they run
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: wide open, open offenses. Why their defenses are the worst.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: It's not because the defense is the worst. It's just
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: they score so quick. They're always out on the field.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: I would agree with you, but this first quarter stuff,
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: like they're they're not exhausted, second third drive and they
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: blow it immediately like this last game, like as soon
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: as the game started.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: This is over.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: It's over.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: That's a bad game.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: When they're in the annexation of Puerto Rico with Pine
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Stuel the second play, you're like, oh, boy, little giant.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Oh god, yeah, Chiefs and Niners.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Niners or one point five one point five favorite on
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: at that point, Jets of Steelers. I guess that's Monday night,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Sunday night, Sunday night. Yeah, what's Monday night? I thought
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Chiefs in forty hours of Sunday night.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: No, there's Sunday afternoon they are. Yeah, that's the Tom Brady.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: What's the Monday.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: That's fun. There's some good games. I think that's it.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: After I find out what the Monday game.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: Chargers Cardinals.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Year me, gag. We heard that loud and clear.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I don't even know what the charges are because they were.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: The Chargers to me, aren't anything this year, but it's
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: probably gonna be something next year the year after. Yeah right,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: they're not. Also they're not an embarrassing team, but they're
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: also not. There's nothing dynamic with charge but the Cardinals
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: are something. Marvin Harrison's got a zin concussion product.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: That's right.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I saw that Kyler Murray. I saw he stood up
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: next to that stick. You stand up, you measure to
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: get on the right. You grow, you grow this much.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: It's still small, still tiny.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: The Ravens Bucks they're also Monday night to double header.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Wait, what is it?
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: Ravens Bucks.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: That's fine, that's a good one, but I don't like
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: the two. I don't either, but I will not watch
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: the Chargers. You're right, so there's only one in my mind.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: You're right.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: There's the JV game and there's the Senior High game.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Man is what I don't like about that, though, is
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: that messes my parlays up because I like my Sunday parlay. Sorry, buddy,
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: And the most I can do on the noon in
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: three o'clock games is like a nine to ten game parlay.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: That sucks, man, That sucks for you.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Guy. I have no chance to win the fifty thousand
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: dollars on a one dollar bet.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: That's tough because there were certain generations they got drafted
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to war. But this is nothing you've heard of what
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you're doing dealing with those are bad d yet. I mean,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: that's a hard day. No, no, no, but this is
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: this is tough what you're talking about.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: That's why I win fifty thousand dollars. That's tough. You
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: We feel bad for youbody, Thank you mane. That's it.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: You guys have a great rest of the week or weekend.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: I lost my whistle. Mike, you have a whistle.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: A song sounds like it's slow, or I feelt drunk
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: or something.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Listen to it.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Does it feel slower than normal? No, it feels just right.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: Does it you'll slow?
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I was gonna ask if it felt slower.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: It's not.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: That's what I thought. It's not I I thought. I thought, Hey,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: can I your question? Yeah, what's up?
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Sounds slower to you?
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: No?
