- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome in to jag Van today, presented by Jet Homelands.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm kind Nannie Stevens, Brian Sexton and John Oser are
- 0:21Speaker 1: with me. The team is getting prepared to head to
- 0:23Speaker 1: London for two games. It's a lot sweeter this week
- 0:26Speaker 1: because they finally got their first win of the season
- 0:28Speaker 1: against the Cults on Sunday. Let's start out with big things.
- 0:31Speaker 1: As scheduled is big thing number one. There is a
- 0:34Speaker 1: hurricane headed this way, but things are staying on schedule
- 0:37Speaker 1: as things are done around here. Brian, we know they've
- 0:40Speaker 1: kind of got things down to a tee with how
- 0:42Speaker 1: they operate when they go to London. They're keeping schedule,
- 0:44Speaker 1: practicing this week and heading out and hoping things go
- 0:47Speaker 1: their way.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Well, first and foremost, Kai is you both know football
- 0:51Speaker 2: coaches and players are creatures of habit and routine. They
- 0:54Speaker 2: don't like things to change, and so they know this
- 0:57Speaker 2: London routine. This leave on Thursday, arright on Friday morning,
- 1:01Speaker 2: kind of get yourself settled and then go right to
- 1:03Speaker 2: practice before going to sleep.
- 1:05Speaker 3: On Friday evening. They don't want to change it.
- 1:07Speaker 2: They understand the storm, the magnitude of it, but they
- 1:09Speaker 2: think they can pull this one off, obviously, John, the
- 1:12Speaker 2: folks who are flying the plane over there are comfortable
- 1:14Speaker 2: leaving on Thursday evening.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Otherwise I think that would change.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yeah, They've gotten their schedule and it's what they do,
- 1:21Speaker 4: so I don't anticipate any issues.
- 1:25Speaker 3: But it's a hurricane.
- 1:26Speaker 4: So let's see how it goes.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Our second big thing back to football now, hands off.
- 1:30Speaker 1: After a season in which we said the offensive line
- 1:34Speaker 1: was an issue, and including the first four weeks of
- 1:36Speaker 1: this season, the defensive line has played very well as
- 1:39Speaker 1: of recent Doug Peterson speaking after the game on Sunday
- 1:42Speaker 1: about how well he thought the on line played.
- 1:45Speaker 5: This is the second week in a row, really that
- 1:47Speaker 5: our old line has played good as a unit, you know,
- 1:49Speaker 5: and listen, I mean it's been the same five guys now, right,
- 1:55Speaker 5: So when I say there's continuity, even those five together,
- 2:01Speaker 5: there's continuity and they start learning to play together.
- 2:04Speaker 3: And that's what you're seeing.
- 2:06Speaker 5: I think these last couple of weeks you're seeing that.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And there was.
- 2:10Speaker 5: You know, just a great game by those guys.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Again today seeing continuity on the offensive line playing very well.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence had tons of time, John, and we saw
- 2:20Speaker 1: him really excel with that at the time in the pocket.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Yeah, when you're looking for ways tod analyze a team,
- 2:27Speaker 4: you look for stuff that's solid, right, and that you
- 2:29Speaker 4: can build on. I get that they're one and four,
- 2:32Speaker 4: but I think maybe a good performance against Houston got
- 2:35Speaker 4: lost a little bit in the furor of zero and four. Now,
- 2:38Speaker 4: this team, I mean think this offensive line has stacked
- 2:41Speaker 4: two really good performances together in a row. They've run
- 2:44Speaker 4: well all season. They've had ninety two yards rushing or
- 2:47Speaker 4: more in all five games, which they would have killed
- 2:50Speaker 4: for that last year. Right, So if they can get
- 2:54Speaker 4: a win on Sunday, if they can stack a couple together,
- 2:58Speaker 4: it feels like this offen defensive line might be a
- 3:02Speaker 4: strength that you can count on going forward.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Well.
- 3:06Speaker 4: See, I don't need get too far ahead of myself, Brian,
- 3:09Speaker 4: but if that's real, then there's something you can stack forward.
- 3:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I get that the Colts didn't have their top pass rushers,
- 3:17Speaker 2: but the week before the two offensive tackles kept Will
- 3:20Speaker 2: Anderson and Daniel Hunter a very formidable pass rushing duo
- 3:25Speaker 2: and kept them away from the quarterback and they weren't
- 3:27Speaker 2: even heard from there. They were in the witness protection program.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I guess because they got nothing. And the last two weeks,
- 3:34Speaker 2: the Jaguars have averaged one hundred and forty two yards
- 3:36Speaker 2: on the ground, They've averaged six yards per carry, and
- 3:39Speaker 2: they've had some explosive plays a fifty eight yard run
- 3:42Speaker 2: against the Texans, a sixty five yard run against the Colts.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That kind of production up front has set up everything
- 3:49Speaker 2: else that they want to do. It gives Trevor play action,
- 3:52Speaker 2: it gives him time in the pocket. The running game
- 3:55Speaker 2: is critically important for this football team. I know everyone
- 3:58Speaker 2: wants to focus on Brian tom and he's tremendous, but
- 4:01Speaker 2: if Tank Bixby doesn't have a couple of big, productive
- 4:04Speaker 2: games in London, it's going to be hard for Brian
- 4:06Speaker 2: Thomas to.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Our final big thing today is going to be holed up.
- 4:09Speaker 1: We talked a lot about the offense playing well on Sunday.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Defense had some players like Trayvon Walker playing very well,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but they did let the Colts get back into the
- 4:18Speaker 1: game late in the fourth quarter. Brian, as we go forward,
- 4:20Speaker 1: what are some changes or something we need to see
- 4:23Speaker 1: better from the defense.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Well, listen, he hasn't played all this year. In fact,
- 4:26Speaker 2: he just got back into the building. But I think
- 4:28Speaker 2: Deshaun Gibson's return maybe for the Patriots would give some
- 4:32Speaker 2: veteran leadership to the safety position. I hate to keep
- 4:36Speaker 2: banging those guys, but they're not playing very well. Antonio
- 4:38Speaker 2: Johnson's made a bunch of tackles, but he's also made
- 4:40Speaker 2: a bunch of mistakes. And just to be honest with
- 4:42Speaker 2: Andre Cisco has been disappointing because when I see the
- 4:46Speaker 2: Tyreek Hill, you know, touchdown in the fourth quarter, third
- 4:49Speaker 2: quarter against Miami, I see Cisco taking a bad angle
- 4:52Speaker 2: and chasing him down the field fruitlessly, obviously, and then
- 4:56Speaker 2: last week allowing Alec Pearce on that long play too.
- 4:59Speaker 2: There's Cisco taking bad angle. He's not playing very well.
- 5:02Speaker 2: So I think bringing bringing Gibson back in john and
- 5:05Speaker 2: then you know Andy Wingard Drew. Did I just say
- 5:08Speaker 2: Andy combined Andrew and Dewey Dewey Winger back into the mix.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You know, more competition will increase the level of performance.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I would hope for that group.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, the guys back there just had to play better.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Darnell Savage on Monday said it's fixable. It's usually fixable,
- 5:26Speaker 4: and then you just got to fix it, so that
- 5:29Speaker 4: bunch needs to turn it up just to tick. It's
- 5:32Speaker 4: such a league of moments. I think it's gonna be
- 5:35Speaker 4: incumbent on the pass rush on Trayvon Walker and Josh Allen,
- 5:39Speaker 4: I mean, Josh Heinzelin.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Sorry to get pressure.
- 5:43Speaker 4: If the secondary can take it up just a little
- 5:45Speaker 4: and those guys get home. I think teams are gonna
- 5:49Speaker 4: score in this secondary right now, but you have to
- 5:51Speaker 4: reduce it by a couple and get a couple of
- 5:53Speaker 4: big plays and break serve and get the ball back
- 5:56Speaker 4: to an offense that's starting to play well.
- 5:57Speaker 3: That's probably their Formula one line.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Or overs doesn't hurt either. Stay with us here on
- 6:02Speaker 1: jack Zam. Coming up, we'll talk a little bit about
- 6:03Speaker 1: the games comping up in London and what we think,
- 6:06Speaker 1: what changes we think we might see. TEGXAM brought to
- 6:11Speaker 1: you by Field's Auto Group, Jackonvilles, Premiere Luxury Auto Group.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Go to Fields Auto dot com.
- 6:18Speaker 6: It's more like, uh, sometimes when you make a big play,
- 6:22Speaker 6: your mind go blank and your your your instincts takeover.
- 6:25Speaker 6: So those opportunities come upon like you don't know what's you.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Just your your instincts takeover.
- 6:31Speaker 7: So but afterwards, you know, it come back to reality
- 6:34Speaker 7: and you get you get down. You see I'm like, dang,
- 6:37Speaker 7: gots your cane and uh you go out and give
- 6:41Speaker 7: my mom at the bar and uh it felt very.
- 6:47Speaker 4: This school that.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Feel little disor that today that was tang things you
- 6:54Speaker 1: talking about some of those big runs that we saw
- 6:56Speaker 1: from him against the Colts. Had one hundred and one yards,
- 6:58Speaker 1: two touchdowns, a sixty your touchdown, he said, he kind
- 7:01Speaker 1: of blacks out, doesn't know what's going on. It comes
- 7:03Speaker 1: back to John. I'm sure you can relate to that.
- 7:05Speaker 4: That's what Yeah, exactly, Me and Tank we.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Love to celebrate. Here. We finally get to celebrate a
- 7:09Speaker 1: win and it comes at the perfect time because it's
- 7:11Speaker 1: our one hundredth episode of jags Am.
- 7:14Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Who you made a milestone?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Guys.
- 7:16Speaker 1: We're actually going to give away some prizes to a
- 7:19Speaker 1: lucky viewer. We have a trivia question that's going to
- 7:22Speaker 1: come up later in the show, and then you'll be
- 7:24Speaker 1: able to enter online and get a chance at some
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the gifts that we have prepared for you. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: will show you one of them. This one is my
- 7:31Speaker 1: personal favorite, JAG's Riches limited production written by your one
- 7:37Speaker 1: and only, very limited John Oser and Pete Prisco. Where'd
- 7:41Speaker 1: you find these?
- 7:42Speaker 4: John? They're in my garage and Fox So we're selling
- 7:45Speaker 4: the money Baitly have.
- 7:46Speaker 3: A couple of copies.
- 7:47Speaker 4: The Amazon price can be up about two thousand dollars
- 7:52Speaker 4: because of a weird algorithm. They're worth about twenty bucks.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Well, on a good day, if you win, you might
- 8:00Speaker 1: even get a personalized message in here.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I'll see what I can do.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'll try to talk them into it.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I will say this.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I read the book when it came out in nineteen
- 8:06Speaker 2: ninety seven because I had lived that ninety six season
- 8:08Speaker 2: like John did, and I enjoyed it.
- 8:10Speaker 4: It's fine. And now the best story I can tell
- 8:12Speaker 4: you about the book is Tom Coffin couldn't like, he
- 8:15Speaker 4: couldn't wait to read the book because it was his
- 8:18Speaker 4: team and it was gonna be something out there the perspective.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And Pete brought it over to him and said, Tom,
- 8:25Speaker 4: I got the book. Tom was like just wanted and
- 8:28Speaker 4: Pete kept kenning not going to have taken it from him.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And that's the sort of tweaking that Tom did. Pete
- 8:34Speaker 4: could do with Tom. And it was always fun. Absolutely.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Well, there's some other stuff in the box as well.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'll go over it a little bit later on the show.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Let's get back to football for a couple of minutes.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We talked about some of the good things. Let's talk
- 8:44Speaker 1: about maybe some stuff we're looking at going forward that
- 8:46Speaker 1: the team might adjust going forward with this or that.
- 8:48Speaker 1: We talked about the offensive line obviously had two great weeks.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Are all of the problems fixed? Was it really a
- 8:54Speaker 1: continuity issue or is there still something going on there?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Well, I wouldn't say all the problems were fixed, but
- 8:59Speaker 2: the nuity issue certainly does help. Right to have these
- 9:03Speaker 2: guys and John, we talked about it. You had these
- 9:06Speaker 2: five guys and they didn't play that much together in August,
- 9:08Speaker 2: and you had a new center in there, and we
- 9:12Speaker 2: thought that because you didn't hit that much and they
- 9:14Speaker 2: didn't play together that much, that the first month of
- 9:16Speaker 2: the season might be really difficult for these guys. And
- 9:18Speaker 2: about the time that Doug said, you know, four or
- 9:20Speaker 2: five weeks in, they did start playing better.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Look, I don't think it's gonna be an offensive line
- 9:25Speaker 4: that blast holes in the running game.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I mean, although I love watching Ezra Cleveland tank in.
- 9:32Speaker 4: It's getting better at that, but it can certainly run
- 9:35Speaker 4: within the context of this scheme. So they're gonna go
- 9:40Speaker 4: have sacks, they're gonna have their moments. But what we've
- 9:43Speaker 4: seen in the last couple of weeks is an offensive
- 9:46Speaker 4: line that is clearly good enough to give Trevor Lawrence time.
- 9:52Speaker 4: It's good enough for this offense to function, and I said,
- 9:55Speaker 4: I think this is a unit that if it plays
- 9:57Speaker 4: like this, if they can get a couple in London,
- 10:01Speaker 4: it can be something they can count on going forward
- 10:04Speaker 4: for the last part of the season.
- 10:06Speaker 3: It's hope.
- 10:07Speaker 2: If they play closer to their ceiling than their floor,
- 10:10Speaker 2: then they're middle of the pack offensive line, right middle
- 10:14Speaker 2: of the rankings if you took all thirty two.
- 10:17Speaker 3: They're good enough, as Doug has said, to be able
- 10:19Speaker 3: to get.
- 10:20Speaker 2: This offense going. They just all have to play together
- 10:23Speaker 2: and they have to play pretty well.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Well face offs against some good defenses. I know the
- 10:28Speaker 1: Bears for certain can get after the quarterback, so we'll
- 10:31Speaker 1: see how that matchup goes in London this week. As
- 10:34Speaker 1: far as the running back game goes, we've seen an
- 10:37Speaker 1: explosive performance out of Tank Bigsby last week, and we
- 10:41Speaker 1: talked about how they're trying to split the carries, but
- 10:43Speaker 1: at this point, does Tank need more carries than Travis?
- 10:46Speaker 3: Tn Well, Tank has a much higher average.
- 10:49Speaker 2: He's averaged nine point six yards per carry the last
- 10:51Speaker 2: two weeks as opposed to just three point.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Six for Travis. And I get it.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You know, Travis is a three yard, three yard thirty
- 10:57Speaker 2: three yard guy. So you could make the case that
- 10:59Speaker 2: Track this in order to keep up, is going to
- 11:02Speaker 2: need more carries. I love the power and the explosiveness
- 11:05Speaker 2: that I see from Tank.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Travis doesn't really have the power. He's more explosive.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I would lean I'll tell you this, it's touches John, Right,
- 11:16Speaker 2: if you look at how many receptions, right, So last
- 11:20Speaker 2: week Travis had twelve touches and Tank had fourteen, And
- 11:25Speaker 2: the last two weeks Travis has twenty four and Tank
- 11:29Speaker 2: has twenty one.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I mean, I think that's kind of where they're going
- 11:31Speaker 3: to be.
- 11:32Speaker 2: You know, if you look if it averages that over
- 11:33Speaker 2: the season, is they're each going to get about fifty
- 11:36Speaker 2: percent of the touches for the running backs.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 4: And I want to say it's the right way, but
- 11:41Speaker 4: I think what they will do offensively is strive to
- 11:46Speaker 4: make sure that the running game and these touches for
- 11:49Speaker 4: these guys are maximizing the opportunity. Meaning I don't necessarily
- 11:54Speaker 4: know that you want to turn Tank Bigsby into a
- 11:58Speaker 4: thirty carry guy would be three yards of carry. He's
- 12:01Speaker 4: been very effective and they have found the right circumstances
- 12:05Speaker 4: with these these guys be running in. I think the
- 12:09Speaker 4: coaches and the offensive approach would be just as happy
- 12:13Speaker 4: if he continues to be really, really effective when he's running.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I don't necessarily know that you have to add carries
- 12:19Speaker 4: have him be effective when he's doing it. They've talked
- 12:21Speaker 4: about that in the past, as look, don't worry so
- 12:24Speaker 4: much about how many yards it gets.
- 12:26Speaker 3: How effective are.
- 12:28Speaker 4: We when we're using these plays. And I don't think
- 12:31Speaker 4: you want to take Travis off the field because I
- 12:33Speaker 4: think about how important he is. When Trevor's in a
- 12:37Speaker 4: little bit of trouble when they're getting that offense going early,
- 12:40Speaker 4: it was getting the ball to Travis in passing situations.
- 12:44Speaker 4: So a couple of big runs, they'll look for the balance,
- 12:47Speaker 4: But I don't think they'll necessarily start easing Travis out
- 12:51Speaker 4: of it. I think it's going to be a too
- 12:52Speaker 4: pronged approach.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Before he had the shoulder stinger, he had a couple
- 12:56Speaker 2: of hard runs along the drag sideline where you know
- 12:58Speaker 2: he picked up first down, So I'll stick with it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I think about if you have a certain number of
- 13:03Speaker 2: touches for the running backs, I think it's going to
- 13:05Speaker 2: be almost fifty to fifty, and that's what it should be.
- 13:06Speaker 2: That'll keep Travis fresh and explosive, and it will keep
- 13:10Speaker 2: tanking the game enough to get enough carries to grind out.
- 13:13Speaker 3: That power game. I think a good point.
- 13:14Speaker 1: We do need both because we did see that kind
- 13:16Speaker 1: of over usage of Travis etn last year came back
- 13:19Speaker 1: to bite them, so I think using both of them
- 13:20Speaker 1: would be very helpful. Looking at the secondary, we talked
- 13:24Speaker 1: a little bit about some of the issues that they had.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Obviously we've seen a lot of blown coverage and the
- 13:28Speaker 1: Cults were able to get back into the game fairly
- 13:30Speaker 1: easily in the fourth quarter. On Sunday, Brian, you mentioned
- 13:33Speaker 1: some personnelse which, as you were looking at DoD they
- 13:35Speaker 1: just need to execute or should they be kind of
- 13:37Speaker 1: looking at reworking what they have for players back there?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Well, Listen, I think that at getting at to Sean
- 13:43Speaker 2: Gibson on the field, which they could get before if
- 13:45Speaker 2: they opened his window before the Patriots game. Puts some
- 13:49Speaker 2: pressure on Cisco right to know that there's this veteran
- 13:52Speaker 2: guy who played in San Francisco last year on an
- 13:54Speaker 2: excellent defense who could come in and challenge him. You
- 13:58Speaker 2: get doing wingered back, you get a guy who plays
- 14:01Speaker 2: really well in the sub packages. The snaps have primarily
- 14:07Speaker 2: gone to Antonio and to Cisco because they haven't had
- 14:11Speaker 2: their full compliment, so you're gonna have to work harder
- 14:13Speaker 2: to earn them to keep them. Execution is obviously a
- 14:15Speaker 2: big part, but the competition level I think will ratch
- 14:18Speaker 2: that up.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 4: I think this secondary can be good enough. I think
- 14:22Speaker 4: it has to eliminate the awful breakdown, which is sort
- 14:26Speaker 4: of It's always true we talk about any NFL secondary.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Most of these guys can play. It's just a matter
- 14:32Speaker 4: of doing the assignments with Brian. I think when Gibson
- 14:36Speaker 4: and wingerd are available, I don't know that it means
- 14:39Speaker 4: you'll sub those guys out and the other two guys
- 14:41Speaker 4: never play, but it will put some pressure and they
- 14:44Speaker 4: will be able to play those guys in some situations.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Remember Ryan Nielson likes to rotate guys back there. I
- 14:50Speaker 4: think you'll see that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I had really high expectations from the Cisco this year.
- 14:53Speaker 2: He was into a contract year. He had four interceptions
- 14:56Speaker 2: last year, played pretty well. There's a lot of football
- 14:59Speaker 2: left to be played. He can still become that. Maybe
- 15:02Speaker 2: what he needs is the pressure of somebody, you know,
- 15:04Speaker 2: nipping at his heels.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Absolutely can't help. We love a little competition. I'm sharp
- 15:08Speaker 1: and everyone stay with us here on Jacksam will look
- 15:11Speaker 1: forward ahead to.
- 15:12Speaker 2: That Bears game.
- 15:12Speaker 1: What we expect to see in London. For eleven years, Dreamfinders'
- 15:18Speaker 1: Homes has been proud to call themselves the official homebuilder
- 15:20Speaker 1: of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Visit dreamfinders homes dot com for
- 15:23Speaker 1: all the available inventory and go jackson.
- 15:27Speaker 6: Hey.
- 15:28Speaker 4: And then I first cut your back with birth and
- 15:30Speaker 4: that bounce coming you.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Don't come down explode.
- 15:33Speaker 3: They tossed us to the left to Tank. He cuts
- 15:35Speaker 3: it back to the battle of field. That's good running.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Tank bakes head to the open field twenty five forty
- 15:39Speaker 2: thirty five thirty twenty fifty ten.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Fuck touched down. Take takes me has exploded for another score,
- 15:54Speaker 3: Hey Bron, part of your brother a program.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We love to see that. Travis y BN miked up
- 16:02Speaker 1: in that game against the Colts, excited for his teammates.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Thank Bingsie said he's a proud dad. Had a little
- 16:07Speaker 1: proud sad moment.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't fake that, you can't.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That's genuine.
- 16:10Speaker 4: It really is cool stuff. And they are close. And
- 16:13Speaker 4: last year when Tank was struggling, I know Travis really
- 16:18Speaker 4: tried to help him through that because he'd experienced sort
- 16:20Speaker 4: of the same thing before year before.
- 16:22Speaker 3: That's really cool to say. Well, and again we'll talked
- 16:24Speaker 3: about competition now.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I mean you don't think that Travis wants to have
- 16:27Speaker 2: those big plays and I mean those two guys will
- 16:31Speaker 2: play off of each other in that room as well.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta like Josh and Trayvon. I feel like
- 16:34Speaker 1: push each other. I feel that's a very similar relationship.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Totally agree.
- 16:38Speaker 1: One hundredth episode here, it's where all our decorations around.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I did want to mention another item that we are
- 16:42Speaker 1: giving away is very specific as we head to London.
- 16:46Speaker 1: The Jaguars exclusive London T shirt that'll be in the
- 16:49Speaker 1: box along with that Jags to Riches book. That I
- 16:52Speaker 1: discussed earlier, and then I'll show you the final thing
- 16:55Speaker 1: in the next block. As I give you the trivia question.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That's aeez, that's a t that's tell of vision, ladies
- 17:00Speaker 1: and gentlemen, I'm a professional. Let's talk a little bit
- 17:02Speaker 1: about this game, because we do want to talk football
- 17:04Speaker 1: as well. This team went to London for two games
- 17:08Speaker 1: for the first time last year. They were very successful
- 17:10Speaker 1: with that, coming home to and zero. They have the
- 17:12Speaker 1: opportunity to do this. You don't want to overlook any opponents,
- 17:15Speaker 1: but you're looking at this saying we should go and
- 17:16Speaker 1: maybe win these games, come back and how different would
- 17:19Speaker 1: this season be if they're able to go there and
- 17:20Speaker 1: have success again and come back three and four.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, you could come back with an opportunity, you know,
- 17:24Speaker 2: to have a Packers team here on the final Sunday
- 17:27Speaker 2: of October with a chance to get to five hundred,
- 17:29Speaker 2: which you know after the zero to four start. More power, right,
- 17:34Speaker 2: let's have that thing go. I'll say this about the trip.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It is a tough trip when you know how to
- 17:41Speaker 2: do it right. So you get a young Bears team
- 17:43Speaker 2: and they haven't been there since twenty nineteen, and that
- 17:47Speaker 2: roster was entirely different, coaching staff was entirely different. They
- 17:51Speaker 2: went over early. Jaguars know how to do this thing.
- 17:53Speaker 2: That's an advantage to them, and John, we learned last
- 17:55Speaker 2: year that being there for the weekend between staying at
- 17:58Speaker 2: the one whole hotel this week or this year instead
- 18:02Speaker 2: of switching in between is an advantage for them as well.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think the Jaguars have an advantage over other teams
- 18:08Speaker 2: because they understand how to do the trip and then
- 18:10Speaker 2: they're there for ten days.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yeah. I've always kind of thought that the Jaguars play
- 18:14Speaker 4: well in London when they're good, and they don't play
- 18:17Speaker 4: very well when they're not good. It's sort of got
- 18:22Speaker 4: them going last year. But I feel like they were
- 18:23Speaker 4: a good team early last season. Look, the Bears are good.
- 18:27Speaker 4: The Bears believe they're good. They're three and two, so
- 18:30Speaker 4: they're hot. They did go over early. It does feel
- 18:33Speaker 4: like they're still sort of trying to figure the trip out,
- 18:36Speaker 4: which you should when you don't do it all the time.
- 18:38Speaker 4: So it's a matchup the Jaguars can win. I wouldn't
- 18:43Speaker 4: say should they have to play well to do it.
- 18:45Speaker 1: What are some of the things, John, when you talk
- 18:47Speaker 1: about that Bears team. Obviously, they're very young. They're talented
- 18:50Speaker 1: on the defensive side of the ball. They've shown flashes
- 18:53Speaker 1: on offense as well as a little more concerning just
- 18:56Speaker 1: because they're so young, you almost don't know what you're
- 18:58Speaker 1: gonna get.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Well, they're still figuring it out. They're really really good
- 19:03Speaker 4: defensively when they're right. They have a lot of talent offensively.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Caleb Williams is still a young quarterback. They're feeling very
- 19:10Speaker 4: good about themselves because they have two wins beat the
- 19:13Speaker 4: Rams and the Panthers, who aren't exactly playing that well.
- 19:16Speaker 4: So the Bears I think still have to prove what
- 19:18Speaker 4: a lot of teams do right now. Are they good?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Are they beat good teams?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Good?
- 19:24Speaker 4: And that'll be a big test this week. I think
- 19:27Speaker 4: the Jaguars should feel like they should win, and if
- 19:30Speaker 4: they win, it will be a good win. But it's
- 19:33Speaker 4: dangerous because of what you said. Caleb Williams is starting
- 19:37Speaker 4: to come into his own, but there's usually ups and
- 19:41Speaker 4: downs with that quarterback who's coming into his own. The
- 19:44Speaker 4: Jaguars need to get pressure on him and making mistakes
- 19:46Speaker 4: and make them look young.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Well, he can extend plays, right, I mean, I haven't
- 19:48Speaker 2: seen a lot of the Bears, but what I have
- 19:50Speaker 2: seen is him with great feet in the pocket and
- 19:53Speaker 2: patience for a young quarterback. I'm not sure that the
- 19:56Speaker 2: Bears offensive line is sturdy enough at this point in
- 20:02Speaker 2: his career. You should see Trayvon and Josh creates some havoc,
- 20:05Speaker 2: but you got to be careful because he's a guy
- 20:07Speaker 2: who can extend that play and just like the Daniels
- 20:10Speaker 2: kid in Washington, can make a great throw on the run.
- 20:13Speaker 3: We've seen him do that throughout his college career.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Important to get home when you do do the past rush,
- 20:17Speaker 1: specifically in that game. All right, say, let's here on Jagsam.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'll give you that trivia question after the break so

- 21:50Speaker 3: them all?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Well, don't get away to answer, but.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I do okay, might here's my question to you.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Is that cake going in the box and going to
