And today we're talking about something we all feel — emotions. Luna: Oh, nice! So we'll learn how to say happy, sad, angry in Dutch? Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with the question: Hoe voel? That means 'How do you feel?' Luna: Hoe voel. Hoe voel. Got it. Lucas: Good. Now the answer: Ik ben blij. 'I am happy.' Blij. Luna: Ik ben blij. Blij. That sounds like 'bley'. Lucas: Exactly. Ik ben blij. Let's say it together: Ik ben blij. Luna: Ik ben blij. Lucas: Perfect. Now, if you're sad: Ik ben verdrietig. Verdrietig. Luna: Verdrietig. That's a long one. Ik ben verdrietig. I can imagine saying that with a sad face. Lucas: Yeah. And angry: Ik ben boos. Boos. Luna: Boos. Sounds like 'bose'. Ik ben boos. I'm angry. Lucas: You got it. So let's practice. Hoe voel? I'll ask you, and you answer with one of them. Luna: Okay, hit me. Lucas: Hoe voel? Luna: Ik ben blij. Lucas: Ah, that's good to hear. Now let's reverse. You ask me. Luna: Hoe voel? Lucas: Ik ben verdrietig. I'm sad because the weekend is over. Luna: Oh no. But you can say: Ik ben boos! Lucas: yes. But let's try a tiny conversation. Imagine you meet a friend. You say: Hoi! Hoe voel? Luna: Hoi! Hoe voel? Lucas: And I answer: Ik ben blij. En jij? Luna: Ik ben ook blij. Yay! Lucas: There you go. So now you can ask and answer about feelings. Let's say them once more: blij, verdrietig, boos. Luna: Blij, verdrietig, boos. I think I'll remember 'blij' because it's short and happy. Lucas: Great. And remember, you can use 'Ik ben' from earlier episodes. So 'Ik ben blij' is like 'I am happy'. Luna: Right. So if I'm angry: Ik ben boos. Lucas: Exactly. And if you want to ask someone: Hoe voel?
