- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten woor filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark, here's Ken Rosatto.
- 0:09Speaker 2: So nice to be with you. Happy Friday, oh man,
- 0:11Speaker 2: a beautiful day. It's going to be beautiful all weekend.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Sunshine to humid hives in the mid eighties. Could you
- 0:18Speaker 2: beg for better summer weekend? And of course it's the
- 0:21Speaker 2: end of July today, the last day of July. Actually,
- 0:24Speaker 2: today's the last day of a lot of things. I
- 0:26Speaker 2: found out about Mark Simone just when you did. And
- 0:31Speaker 2: by the way, in case anybody hasn't heard, let me ask,
- 0:33Speaker 2: is he our engineer?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Is he?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Did you know that starting Monday, Mark Simone is going
- 0:37Speaker 2: to be on from nine to noon for three hours.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Were you aware of that? He says, no, he didn't
- 0:42Speaker 2: hear about it before. This is the first he's hearing
- 0:44Speaker 2: of it. So if you are just hearing of it,
- 0:46Speaker 2: then yes, I'm letting you know. Our dear friend, Mark Simone,
- 0:50Speaker 2: my favorite talk show host on the planet. I listen
- 0:52Speaker 2: every single day from the home in New Jersey, will
- 0:57Speaker 2: be on nine to noon three hour starting on Monday,
- 1:01Speaker 2: not not just two hours, and from what I understand,
- 1:04Speaker 2: that third hour will be at no additional charge to you.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So for whatever you're spending for the two hours of
- 1:10Speaker 2: Mark simone, you get a bonus third hour and it's
- 1:14Speaker 2: absolutely free courtesy of iHeartRadio.
- 1:16Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I will be listening. I love I love listening to
- 1:20Speaker 2: Mark every day, and I'm sure you do too. That's
- 1:22Speaker 2: why you're here. My name is Ken Rosetto. I was
- 1:24Speaker 2: a TV news anchor in New York City for decades.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I was on Channel seven for twenty years mornings and noon,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and I was on Channel five on Good Day New York.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Before that, I was on Channel fifty five. These days,
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'm on a channel called on New Jersey based in
- 1:40Speaker 2: New Jersey. You could stream at anywhere at onj dot com.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So check it out sometime. We have a lot to
- 1:46Speaker 2: talk about today. The phone lines are open. Love to
- 1:48Speaker 2: hear you, so call us at eight hundred three two
- 1:52Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 1:57Speaker 2: seven ten. Well. Democrats upset set at Elon Musk once again. Shocker.
- 2:03Speaker 2: They wouldn't be upset with him if he threw money
- 2:06Speaker 2: their way, but they're upset with him because he works
- 2:09Speaker 2: with the Republicans, although he still doesn't consider himself a
- 2:12Speaker 2: Republican or a Conservative. The world's wealthiest man announced that
- 2:17Speaker 2: he is going to one up the Democrats when it
- 2:21Speaker 2: comes to a ground game for the fall elections. Now,
- 2:25Speaker 2: the Democrats have always been masterful at getting younger people
- 2:29Speaker 2: and older people to volunteer, going house to house, knocking
- 2:33Speaker 2: on doors and talking face to face, pressing flesh, as
- 2:37Speaker 2: we like to call it, right, pressing flesh with people
- 2:39Speaker 2: shaking their hands. There's just something about meeting somebody face
- 2:44Speaker 2: to face, having an intimate conversation as opposed to putting
- 2:48Speaker 2: out a commercial commercial's work. They get the idea in
- 2:50Speaker 2: people's heads it's more for name recognition. But when it
- 2:55Speaker 2: comes to winning somebody over to actually do something as
- 2:58Speaker 2: personal as voting for you, anyone who is an elected
- 3:02Speaker 2: politician will tell you at least the first victory came
- 3:07Speaker 2: at the expense of going door to door, gum shoe
- 3:11Speaker 2: knocking on the doors, pressing flesh and talking to people.
- 3:14Speaker 2: That is essential. So Democrats are very big on that.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Republicans over the years have gotten kind of weak at
- 3:19Speaker 2: it until Trump. Since President Trump, that's when the Republicans
- 3:25Speaker 2: started coming out a little bit more. President Trump was
- 3:28Speaker 2: big on going into areas that Republicans stayed away from.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Republicans would often say, I'll never win the African American vote,
- 3:37Speaker 2: or I'll never win the Jewish vote, or I'll never
- 3:40Speaker 2: win whatever name the vote. And President Trump said, what
- 3:43Speaker 2: do we have to lose? Just go in if they
- 3:45Speaker 2: bought me whatever they bought me. Who cares. He's got
- 3:48Speaker 2: thick skin, obviously, I know Democrats think he's very thin skinned.
- 3:52Speaker 2: He is not. He is actually very thick skinned, and
- 3:57Speaker 2: that is essential for election to winning elections. So back
- 4:02Speaker 2: to the topic. Elon Musk said that he is now
- 4:05Speaker 2: going to spend a fortune his words, and remember he's
- 4:08Speaker 2: the wealthiest man on the planet. How many hundreds of
- 4:10Speaker 2: billions is he?
- 4:11Speaker 4: Do?
- 4:11Speaker 2: You know? Was he two hundred billion, two hundred three
- 4:14Speaker 2: hundred million something like that. It's like right, like, oh
- 4:17Speaker 2: a trillion, right something. It's beyond the money that you
- 4:21Speaker 2: could count if you started counting now, you couldn't finish
- 4:25Speaker 2: at the time of your death. That's how much money
- 4:27Speaker 2: Elon has. He loses and wins more money per day
- 4:32Speaker 2: in the markets than you or I and half the
- 4:36Speaker 2: city you live in can see in a lifetime. That's
- 4:39Speaker 2: how much money he has. So it's almost a nebulous thing.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's a concept because he'll never see that money, and
- 4:44Speaker 2: if he wanted to have it all in one hundred
- 4:46Speaker 2: dollars bills right now, they couldn't print enough. It's all electronic.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But Elon says he will spend a fortune to boost
- 4:54Speaker 2: Republican voter turnout, and he's going to use his super
- 4:58Speaker 2: pack America pack she used during the last Trump run,
- 5:03Speaker 2: and that pack spent over a quarter of a billion
- 5:06Speaker 2: in fact for Trump's reelection I think two hundred and
- 5:08Speaker 2: sixty million to be exact. So the plan is to
- 5:12Speaker 2: spend money on getting people to door knock, also on
- 5:15Speaker 2: digital advertising, so digital being of course, you know online
- 5:19Speaker 2: with the social media, and then direct mail aimed at
- 5:23Speaker 2: turning out the conservative base, say an older base, and
- 5:27Speaker 2: then also the super young that may not think that
- 5:30Speaker 2: they're conservatives, but they'd be surprised if they understood what
- 5:33Speaker 2: conservatism was about. I think younger people think conservative and
- 5:38Speaker 2: they think, oh, you're like religious, busy bodies who tell
- 5:41Speaker 2: us how to live our lives. True conservatism is just
- 5:44Speaker 2: the opposite noth that it's anti religion. Most conservatives tend
- 5:48Speaker 2: to be more religious or spiritual anyway. But conservatism is
- 5:51Speaker 2: about getting government out of my business. If you want
- 5:56Speaker 2: to be a transgender, three breasted person with two nose
- 6:01Speaker 2: rings in five eyes, honestly, go live your life. Just
- 6:05Speaker 2: don't impose it on anybody else. We just don't to
- 6:07Speaker 2: hear about anything. Whether it's you're a heterosexual, white person
- 6:11Speaker 2: or it's transgender or green person, we don't care. Just
- 6:16Speaker 2: do your thing. That's what concern true conservatism, Libertarian leaning
- 6:21Speaker 2: conservatism is about just don't go after kids and don't
- 6:26Speaker 2: do anything weird in society. Just go live your life
- 6:29Speaker 2: and we don't care. Enjoy yourself. That's conservatism, all right,
- 6:34Speaker 2: So elon. It wants those voters who are typically less
- 6:38Speaker 2: inclined to cast ballots in a non presidential election year
- 6:42Speaker 2: to come out, and that is the goal here because
- 6:45Speaker 2: you have a lot of people in polls who say
- 6:47Speaker 2: that yes they support Trump, but remember Trump's not on
- 6:51Speaker 2: the ballot, so you need to get these people out.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I've talked to one thousand people. Yeah, I don't vote
- 6:56Speaker 2: in those off he is, Yeah, I don't vote for
- 6:59Speaker 2: the Democrats or Republicans when it comes to like the Senate,
- 7:02Speaker 2: the Congress, the mayor, I don't care, I just vote
- 7:05Speaker 2: for president. You're an idiot. Yeah, I said it. You're
- 7:08Speaker 2: an idiot because if you think just the figurehead of
- 7:12Speaker 2: president is all that matters, then you don't understand our system.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It is part of the system. Do not cast away
- 7:21Speaker 2: your vote for members of the House, members of the Senate, governors, mayors.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's all part of the system. And you do not
- 7:30Speaker 2: get your point of view across by just voting for
- 7:34Speaker 2: the figurehead President Trump. Without a House and a Senate
- 7:38Speaker 2: will just be an impeached President Trump. Once again, we
- 7:41Speaker 2: don't want that. If you want the agenda to move forward,
- 7:45Speaker 2: if you like the idea of controlling immigration so that
- 7:49Speaker 2: legal immigration occurs and illegal immigration ceases, you need to
- 7:53Speaker 2: make sure that you have a Congress that is controlled
- 7:56Speaker 2: by Republicans, a Senate that is controlled by Republicans, and
- 8:00Speaker 2: then they will in turn approve US Supreme Court justices
- 8:06Speaker 2: that the President selects, and you know they're going to
- 8:08Speaker 2: be at least one or two in the next couple
- 8:11Speaker 2: of years. But if President Trump doesn't have the Senate,
- 8:13Speaker 2: he's not going to get his justices through. They could
- 8:16Speaker 2: do what was threatened several years ago and just wait
- 8:19Speaker 2: until the Democratic president comes in and then just let
- 8:22Speaker 2: that person appoint somebody to the Supreme Court. So we
- 8:26Speaker 2: want a unified party, if you will. The idea of
- 8:30Speaker 2: the other thing that always bothered me. I don't know
- 8:31Speaker 2: about you. Always bothered me when I used to hear
- 8:33Speaker 2: people say, well, I like to split my vote. I
- 8:36Speaker 2: like to vote Republican for president and Democrat for everything.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Out doesn't work. Doesn't stop being wishy washy. Vote for
- 8:44Speaker 2: people who stand for what you stand for. If you're
- 8:47Speaker 2: not sure what they stand for, research them, read about them,
- 8:51Speaker 2: look it up, don't you say, nebulously, the Democrats that
- 8:55Speaker 2: for the working people. Yeah, that was nineteen twenty three.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That's not the case today. Democrats today, by their own
- 9:03Speaker 2: self acclamation and proclamation, are socialists. No, Ken, that's not true. Okay.
- 9:09Speaker 2: The eleven people you might find in the New York
- 9:11Speaker 2: tri state who call themselves Democrats who aren't socialists, that's
- 9:14Speaker 2: eleven people. The Democrat Party has been hijacked by the
- 9:18Speaker 2: Democratic Socialists the DSA, and that is where the agenda
- 9:22Speaker 2: will be set. It is not going to be set
- 9:24Speaker 2: with yes, we're the hard working middle class. Those are
- 9:28Speaker 2: Republicans today, But I can't vote Republican.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Ken.
- 9:31Speaker 2: My old man and my grandpa, my great grandpa, they
- 9:34Speaker 2: were Democrats. They came over from Ireland or Italy or whatever.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They were always Democrats. We can't vote for Republicans, us
- 9:40Speaker 2: against our Well, then you're going to vote for you know,
- 9:44Speaker 2: six legged transgender whatever. And that's fine, that's what you want.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But just remember that it's because of your stubbornness and
- 9:53Speaker 2: your lack of ability to do a little reading and
- 9:56Speaker 2: research that that will be the case. And if that's
- 9:59Speaker 2: the case, then and you know, then I'm okay with
- 10:01Speaker 2: you staying home and not voting. Eight hundred three to
- 10:03Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two
- 10:06Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Ken Rozotto win for Mark Simon
- 10:10Speaker 2: on an historic day. Why is this day historic and
- 10:12Speaker 2: not Monday? Well, Monday is historic because that is the
- 10:15Speaker 2: day that the great Mark Simone, who anybody in the
- 10:19Speaker 2: business will tell you is the best talk show host
- 10:24Speaker 2: who breathes air. Now, I'm waiting for someone to call
- 10:28Speaker 2: me and debate me on that. I could give you
- 10:29Speaker 2: one hundred reasons why he is the best. And I'm
- 10:32Speaker 2: not saying it just because I'm sitting in on the
- 10:33Speaker 2: Mark Simone Show. I would say it to any program
- 10:36Speaker 2: director at any radio station in America. Everybody knows he
- 10:40Speaker 2: is the best. He will now be three hours a
- 10:43Speaker 2: day starting Monday on seven ten WR, so his show
- 10:47Speaker 2: will be on from nine am to noon. The Great
- 10:50Speaker 2: Mark Simone. We get an extra hour, and I am
- 10:52Speaker 2: looking forward to it. But today is historic. I'd like
- 10:55Speaker 2: to pat myself on the back and say it because
- 10:57Speaker 2: I get to host the last two hour Mark Moone
- 11:00Speaker 2: show in history. So I consider that a very big honor.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Mark.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Right now, I was thinking to himself, I would love
- 11:09Speaker 2: to be two hours and not have to work the
- 11:10Speaker 2: extra hour. I know, I know, I know, sorry Mark
- 11:12Speaker 2: that you have to work an extra hour, but it's
- 11:14Speaker 2: your own fault for being so damn talented that we
- 11:17Speaker 2: all love to listen to you. So suck it up, Buttercup,
- 11:20Speaker 2: we love you, Mark Simona, we want the extra hour.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Tough luck, buddy, seven ten WR the Voice of New
- 11:26Speaker 2: York again. It's Ken Rozotto in and have you been
- 11:29Speaker 2: seeing what's going on in Spain? Spain had to deploy
- 11:34Speaker 2: its military to Seyuta, which is an enclave. Now, what's
- 11:37Speaker 2: an enclave? A lot of European countries when they sort
- 11:41Speaker 2: of delineated their lines and their borders, you had little
- 11:45Speaker 2: clicks of people who lived twenty miles over the border
- 11:48Speaker 2: in this direction and thirty miles over the border in
- 11:50Speaker 2: that direction, and so they created all these little tiny
- 11:55Speaker 2: jets of okay, let the land stick out thirty miles
- 11:58Speaker 2: in that direction to encompass that city. And so that's
- 12:01Speaker 2: why if you look at the borders, there are all
- 12:02Speaker 2: these weird borders. Do you know the border between Italy
- 12:05Speaker 2: and is it France or Austria? Now I'm gonna get confused.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I think it's Austria. There is a town called Ventimilia. Now,
- 12:17Speaker 2: anyone who knows Italian, and I know Vincent is out there,
- 12:19Speaker 2: and Vincent's like, can I know Italian? Ventimilia translates as
- 12:23Speaker 2: twenty miles. It is called Ventimilia because it used to
- 12:28Speaker 2: be twenty miles from the border. But Ventimilia is now
- 12:33Speaker 2: the border town. Why did that happen? After World War Two?
- 12:37Speaker 2: As punishment for Italy having Mussolini. The punishment was they
- 12:41Speaker 2: lost twenty miles of their border. So the city that
- 12:45Speaker 2: used to be called Ventimilia because it was twenty miles
- 12:48Speaker 2: away from the border with I guess Austria and France.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Now is the border town, but it's called Ventimilia. Little
- 12:56Speaker 2: things like that that fascinate me. Well, there is an enclavenlave,
- 13:00Speaker 2: meaning it is a standalone chunk of land that is
- 13:03Speaker 2: surrounded entirely by another country, in this case North Africa,
- 13:07Speaker 2: surrounded by Morocco. But this enclave is the nation of Spain. Seyuta, Ceuta.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It is eighty thousand people strong, or was eighty thousand
- 13:20Speaker 2: people strong, and it's been sitting there, surrounded by Morocco
- 13:25Speaker 2: for decades and decades, for centuries. Seyuta yesterday tens are
- 13:31Speaker 2: actually they're saying now three to four thousand. Yesterday was
- 13:34Speaker 2: thought it was over ten thousand. People invaded the country
- 13:36Speaker 2: from Morocco. Why because the Supreme Court in Spain made
- 13:42Speaker 2: the comment that if illegals come streaming across by the sea,
- 13:46Speaker 2: that they would be allowed to stay until they could
- 13:48Speaker 2: be figured out in court, much like the liberal judges
- 13:52Speaker 2: in all the districts of the United States during the
- 13:54Speaker 2: Biden administration, the same woke liberal leftist mentality. Meanwhile, if
- 13:59Speaker 2: you snuck into you'd be put in jail. You snuck
- 14:02Speaker 2: into other countries, you'd be thrown in jail. Do you
- 14:05Speaker 2: know that if you sneak into Mexico you could be
- 14:07Speaker 2: thrown in jail. Isn't that funny? But when Mexicans or
- 14:10Speaker 2: any I don't mean to single out Mexicans, when anyone
- 14:12Speaker 2: else comes in from the southern border, northern border, it's okay,
- 14:16Speaker 2: that's right, we'll figure it out. Well, not anymore, not
- 14:18Speaker 2: under this president. And we have a sovereign nation for
- 14:22Speaker 2: a reason. You're welcome to come if you do so legally,
- 14:25Speaker 2: go through the process, and you are welcome here, break
- 14:28Speaker 2: in our back door, and we say get lost. Seven
- 14:31Speaker 2: to ten wor the Voice of New York. What do
- 14:33Speaker 2: you have to say about it? Eight hundred and three
- 14:35Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten. Well, coming up, we're
- 14:38Speaker 2: gonna speak with Mike Kelly, who is a columnist for
- 14:41Speaker 2: the Record and USA Today is on North Jersey dot com.
- 14:44Speaker 2: He'll be talking about Mikey Cheryl's decision, that's the governor
- 14:48Speaker 2: of New Jersey not to share info with the FEDS
- 14:51Speaker 2: regarding the sixty six hundred illegals who registered to vote
- 14:54Speaker 2: in the Garden state and the response from the computer
- 14:57Speaker 2: company that insists it was into a computer glitch that
- 15:01Speaker 2: resulted in those illegals registering at the New Jersey MVC,
- 15:05Speaker 2: which is their DMV. So who are what was behind
- 15:09Speaker 2: it then? And why? How did the program simply accidentally
- 15:13Speaker 2: allow this to happen? M Or was it not so accidental?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Was it somebody intentionally doing this? Methinks I me smells
- 15:22Speaker 2: a rat. But your calls are coming up next eight
- 15:24Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. It is
- 15:27Speaker 2: ten twenty one seven ten wo r Ken brasata win.
- 15:31Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
- 15:32Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten. Woon
- 15:36Speaker 1: Ken from Mark Today. Here's Ken Rosatto.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Had a very happy little Friday to you. Let's go
- 15:42Speaker 2: straight to our busy phones eight hundred three two one
- 15:44Speaker 2: zero seven ten And there he is Vincent in Brooklyn.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You heard me say your name, Vincent?
- 15:48Speaker 4: Yeah, good morning, kenangut a shout out Ken. The other
- 15:53Speaker 4: day online I saw last night, in fact, speaking about
- 15:57Speaker 4: all these migrants flooding kyout to Spain. George Soros son
- 16:04Speaker 4: Alex Soros went over there and corrupted the president, who
- 16:09Speaker 4: is a socialist. And there's actually a photo of them
- 16:12Speaker 4: online and in the background and you see, uh, you know,
- 16:16Speaker 4: ten thousand migrants flooding this town. I feel sorry for
- 16:21Speaker 4: the Spanish people. They're already at their wits end because
- 16:26Speaker 4: a lot of these people they recking their economy. They're
- 16:30Speaker 4: taking use it up, their social services and everything.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Lamp producers. In Sicily, it's the same thing over run.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 2: In fact, you know, you know that the in Sauta,
- 16:44Speaker 2: that half the population is eighty thousand people. Half the
- 16:47Speaker 2: population are Moroccan Muslim Spaniards, and they want the people out.
- 16:52Speaker 2: So it's not a Christian slash Spanish thing and you
- 16:55Speaker 2: don't belong there. In Morocco. Half those people are originally Moroccan,
- 16:59Speaker 2: and yet they want they choose to be Spaniards. And
- 17:02Speaker 2: these people who overrun this city, now they've overrun the city.
- 17:05Speaker 2: The locals saying get out.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Sure, because there's Spaniards Moroccans. They have the rights of
- 17:12Speaker 4: the European Union. They could freely move about the European Union,
- 17:17Speaker 4: go work in other areas in Europe. And they don't
- 17:21Speaker 4: want those rights taken away from them. And they don't
- 17:25Speaker 4: want to live like the people in Morocco living. That's
- 17:30Speaker 4: because they're down and out over there. In those northern
- 17:32Speaker 4: Arab countries they're not doing well, right.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I mean, the only parts of Morocco that are doing well,
- 17:38Speaker 2: or along the northern coast, they do a little bit
- 17:40Speaker 2: better than the rest of Morocco because people visiting southern
- 17:44Speaker 2: Spain go in for a day trip and then leave.
- 17:46Speaker 2: They go in and they enjoy a restaurant or a
- 17:49Speaker 2: quick museum, and then they're gone and that's it. So
- 17:51Speaker 2: those areas make a little bit of money. But the
- 17:53Speaker 2: people inland in Morocco, they're starving. A lot of them,
- 17:57Speaker 2: is just a destitute, poverty, and so they saw that
- 18:00Speaker 2: opportunity once they heard the Spanish Supreme Court judge you say, well,
- 18:04Speaker 2: if you come in by sea, it's sort of like
- 18:06Speaker 2: the wetfoot drive foot policy we used to have here,
- 18:08Speaker 2: you come in by sea, we're going to put you
- 18:10Speaker 2: through like a ten year process before we can kick
- 18:13Speaker 2: you out. What where where do you get this.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Concept in the world? Do they do this? Ken? A
- 18:18Speaker 4: number of years ago, about fifteen years ago, some friends
- 18:22Speaker 4: of mine, they were in Naples. They went and they
- 18:26Speaker 4: had a short down and actually they saw the boats
- 18:31Speaker 4: with these migrants coming ashore. They come ashore and these
- 18:35Speaker 4: rickety boats that can barely make the passage. And then
- 18:39Speaker 4: they just left the boats on the shore, and they
- 18:41Speaker 4: saw them just dispersed across the beach into the general population.
- 18:46Speaker 4: And the same thing with lamp producer. In the morning,
- 18:51Speaker 4: the migrants come.
- 18:52Speaker 2: During the night.
- 18:53Speaker 4: In the morning they found they find all these abandoned
- 18:56Speaker 4: rickety boats on the shore. It's terrible what it's doing
- 19:01Speaker 4: to the economy over over there. I think President Trump
- 19:05Speaker 4: should just close down any military basis we have in Spain.
- 19:10Speaker 4: He's doing the right thing. Any country that refused us
- 19:15Speaker 4: fly over rights or the rights to uh dock our
- 19:19Speaker 4: ships at any of their ports, they should do like
- 19:22Speaker 4: they did that in Italy. One time, in Porto and
- 19:25Speaker 4: perdeclass there was a submarine port, and when they closed
- 19:30Speaker 4: that port in the United States, the town practically went
- 19:33Speaker 4: broke because so much of the economy was linked to
- 19:37Speaker 4: servicing the sailors and refueling and bringing food to the
- 19:43Speaker 4: to the submarine.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You don't want us here, we could leave. We'll take
- 19:46Speaker 2: American dollars with us, exactly. We're over the bottom of
- 19:50Speaker 2: the row. Well that's the key, my friend. You have
- 19:54Speaker 2: a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend down
- 19:57Speaker 2: the shore.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I have a wonderful week and enjoy the weather.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Always a pleasure. Thank you. And Christine, we got about
- 20:04Speaker 2: a minute left. Good morning, Christine. You got to lower
- 20:08Speaker 2: the radio. Listen to the phone, don't listen to the
- 20:10Speaker 2: radio behind you. All right, we got to go to
- 20:13Speaker 2: the next one. Let's go to Joe and Elmwood Park.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Good morning, Joe, Good morning, you're on the air.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Okay, Ken, Good morning, Ken.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Thank you. Go ahead, Joe, you're off. You got bout
- 20:25Speaker 2: thirty seconds left.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Why isn't the Kimyrelly contesting the what's his name? Stolen?
- 20:35Speaker 3: Last time from him? Now we're going to have eight
- 20:36Speaker 3: years of this and it's more than sixty six. It's
- 20:40Speaker 3: like thirty six thousand illegals voted. Don't believe sixty six thousand.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Well, and you're not. You're probably not wrong there, Joe.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I mean the numbers you're probably higher, but we'll never know,
- 20:51Speaker 2: and you can't prove it. That's the problem. And right now,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I mean, the federal government says there are probably thirty
- 20:57Speaker 2: nine thousand illegals who have registered to vote in New Jersey.
- 21:01Speaker 2: The New Jersey Republicans are saying, it's probably closer to
- 21:06Speaker 2: eighty thousand. Where do they get that statistic? They get
- 21:09Speaker 2: it because people who have been summoned for jury duty.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They are summoned off of a list of people registered
- 21:16Speaker 2: to vote, and about eighty thousand have responded they can't
- 21:20Speaker 2: come and beyond jury duty. Why because they're illegal migrants.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That's actually how they responded, according to the Republicans in
- 21:28Speaker 2: the state of New Jersey. So the Republicans are saying, Mikey,
- 21:31Speaker 2: why don't you give up those lists and let everybody
- 21:33Speaker 2: see that? Because the Republicans were privy to that. So
- 21:36Speaker 2: Mikey Cheryl, who, by the way, I call her the
- 21:39Speaker 2: fraud because she refuses her people are woses. They don't.
- 21:44Speaker 2: They control everything she says and everywhere she goes. She'll
- 21:47Speaker 2: go on MS now, but she won't go on any
- 21:50Speaker 2: medium that is friendly to Republicans or down the middle. Here,
- 21:54Speaker 2: I'm a seven time Emmy Award winner, thirty five to
- 21:57Speaker 2: forty year veteran of New York City television. I've done
- 22:00Speaker 2: network television. I'm a journalist through and through. They refuse
- 22:04Speaker 2: to do an interview with me. Hey, I'll be nice
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'll be respectful to the governor, tell her to put
- 22:10Speaker 2: on her big girl pants and face a real journalist,
- 22:12Speaker 2: never mind the sick offense will kiss her backside and
- 22:16Speaker 2: then ants ask only the questions you provide old people
- 22:20Speaker 2: from the Cheryl camp. Let's see what happens. It is
- 22:23Speaker 2: now ten thirty four seven ten woor. Coming up, we'll
- 22:26Speaker 2: speak with Mike Kelly, columnists for the Record in USA Today,
- 22:29Speaker 2: about Governor Mikey Cheryl's decision not to share info with
- 22:33Speaker 2: the feds regarding those sixty six hundred illegals that we
- 22:36Speaker 2: know of that registered to vote in the Garden State.
- 22:39Speaker 2: So who or what is behind all this?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Now more of the Marximone Show on seven to ten woor.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Filling in for Mark here again is Ken Rosado.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Is so good to be with you on a beautiful Friday,
- 22:52Speaker 2: New Jersey. Governor Mikey Cheryl told the FEDS recently, of course,
- 22:55Speaker 2: she would not share information regarding those sixty six hundred
- 22:59Speaker 2: illegal Mike grints that she already admitted registered to vote
- 23:02Speaker 2: in the Garden State, and four hundred of them actually voted.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Mike Kelly is a columnist for the Record in USA
- 23:09Speaker 2: Today's with North Jersey dot Com. He's here to talk
- 23:11Speaker 2: about it. Good morning, Mike, Good morning Ken.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to New Jersey. As they say, Yeah, well.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I'm a Jersey boy. I saw I live. I live
- 23:20Speaker 2: in the middle part of the state. I live in
- 23:22Speaker 2: the part of New Jersey that doesn't exist Central New Jersey. Uh,
- 23:27Speaker 2: one of those.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Debaters station down there.
- 23:30Speaker 2: That's it. We just get a little in New York
- 23:31Speaker 2: and a little of Philly. So Governor Cheryl said that
- 23:34Speaker 2: she would not share information about the illegal migrants who
- 23:37Speaker 2: registered to vote with the FEDS because she said she
- 23:39Speaker 2: needs to protect the private information of New Jersey's citizens.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Only they're not citizens. So what is she talking about
- 23:47Speaker 2: and is what do you think she is so adamant
- 23:49Speaker 2: about not sharing that information.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Well, remember when Jason Brunson, what you know, with the Knicks,
- 23:56Speaker 5: was faking out other defenders. Well, think of this as
- 23:59Speaker 5: the ultimately fake out. She's just trying to go you know,
- 24:02Speaker 5: she's trying to fake her way through this. I think,
- 24:04Speaker 5: I mean, Cheryl's is in a difficult position. She wants
- 24:08Speaker 5: to sound like she's being transparent and coming clean with everything,
- 24:12Speaker 5: but on the other hand, she doesn't want to come
- 24:15Speaker 5: clean with everything. And why that's the case. I think
- 24:19Speaker 5: it has a lot to do with the fact that
- 24:21Speaker 5: she's afraid that the Trump administration and Republicans in general
- 24:26Speaker 5: will just, you know, have an opening to a basically
- 24:30Speaker 5: a long standing concern that elections in this country are
- 24:35Speaker 5: just simply not monitored very well.
- 24:37Speaker 2: But doesn't that already happen? I mean the fact that
- 24:41Speaker 2: she acknowledged what the Republicans have been saying all along,
- 24:44Speaker 2: that there are thousands of people who have been registered
- 24:48Speaker 2: to vote who shouldn't have have been registered, and on
- 24:51Speaker 2: top of that, hundreds who actually voted that we know of.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Doesn't that already open up the floodgates?
- 24:58Speaker 3: Yes?
- 24:58Speaker 5: And no? I mean I what we really need here, Ken,
- 25:02Speaker 5: I believe, and I think this would be good for
- 25:04Speaker 5: the whole country. We really need an independent examination what
- 25:09Speaker 5: happened here. And it begins long before the whole question
- 25:13Speaker 5: of voting came up. This begins with how New Jersey,
- 25:19Speaker 5: and to some degree the whole country handles undocumented or
- 25:24Speaker 5: illegal immigration. And a number of years ago, Governor Murphy,
- 25:28Speaker 5: who was a governor Cheryl's predecessor, decided to give drivers'
- 25:34Speaker 5: licenses to undocumented illegal migrants here in New Jersey. Why
- 25:39Speaker 5: he decided to do that is a complicated issue. I
- 25:42Speaker 5: thought it was ridiculous at the time. And what happened
- 25:47Speaker 5: as the result of that is that there is a
- 25:49Speaker 5: policy in New Jersey that if you get a driver's
- 25:52Speaker 5: license in New Jersey, they automatically register you to vote,
- 25:55Speaker 5: which is, in my opinion, another problem. I think if
- 25:58Speaker 5: you're going to register to vote, it ought to be
- 25:59Speaker 5: separate from whether or not you apply for a driver's
- 26:02Speaker 5: license or not. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, The
- 26:05Speaker 5: point here is that when these undocumented immigrants sign up
- 26:09Speaker 5: for driver's licenses, the computer immediately automatically registered many of
- 26:15Speaker 5: them to vote, and so begins this current controversy. And then,
- 26:19Speaker 5: as you correctly point out, about four hundred of these
- 26:21Speaker 5: people actually cast ballots somewhere in the state. We don't
- 26:24Speaker 5: know where. We don't know whether it influenced an election
- 26:28Speaker 5: somewhere or not. You know, a lot of these small
- 26:30Speaker 5: town elections come down to ten, fifteen, twenty votes, and
- 26:35Speaker 5: you know, I could see, you know, if a group
- 26:37Speaker 5: of migrants were voting in some small town somewhere, it
- 26:40Speaker 5: could influence you know, a council vote, would it affect
- 26:44Speaker 5: one of the statewide you know, elections like senator, US
- 26:48Speaker 5: senator or governor. I don't think so, but I think
- 26:52Speaker 5: we need to look at the symbolism here, which is
- 26:54Speaker 5: the fact that our elections are just not monitoring very well.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and Mike, just the idea that if if one
- 27:01Speaker 2: vote is canceled out by somebody who should not be voting,
- 27:04Speaker 2: that is your right as a United States citizen to
- 27:08Speaker 2: cast that ballot. And if somebody else cancels out that
- 27:11Speaker 2: vote who shouldn't be I mean, that's like theft, you know,
- 27:15Speaker 2: that that takes away all your rights. So that's why
- 27:18Speaker 2: I don't know about how you feel about it, but
- 27:20Speaker 2: I feel that if there is one illegally cast vote,
- 27:24Speaker 2: it's the equivalent to a million because it could negate
- 27:28Speaker 2: my vote. I have been silenced by that illegal vote
- 27:32Speaker 2: being cast, and I wouldn't go to another country and
- 27:35Speaker 2: cast a vote where I shouldn't. And that's why I feel, so,
- 27:38Speaker 2: I don't know, personally violated by something like this happening,
- 27:41Speaker 2: and the idea that, oh, go ahead, I'm sorry, Mike.
- 27:44Speaker 5: No, that's a very very good point, Ken, you know, it.
- 27:47Speaker 5: You know, when someone who votes who shouldn't be voting, votes,
- 27:51Speaker 5: then that cancels out a legitimate vote, a legitimate vote somewhere.
- 27:55Speaker 5: And I think that kind of damage. You know, you
- 27:59Speaker 5: can't really quantify it, except the fact that when you
- 28:02Speaker 5: put it that way, it is an emotional insult to
- 28:05Speaker 5: you know, what we believe in here in the United States.
- 28:08Speaker 5: You know, look at listen, I say all this. I
- 28:10Speaker 5: am not in favor of. I mean, I'm hardly a
- 28:13Speaker 5: supporter of Donald Trump and some of the some of
- 28:16Speaker 5: the nonsense what I consider to be nonsense that comes
- 28:19Speaker 5: out of Washington these days. However, I believe that the
- 28:23Speaker 5: issue I think that Democrats really have it wrong in
- 28:26Speaker 5: their opposition to what I think are legitimate concerns raised
- 28:30Speaker 5: by Republicans about about the legitimacy of voting in this country.
- 28:35Speaker 5: And this has been a long standing issue that really
- 28:38Speaker 5: dates back to, you know, uh, to some degree, the
- 28:42Speaker 5: election of John F. Kennedy over Richard Dixon and whether
- 28:45Speaker 5: or not you know, illegal votes were cast in the
- 28:47Speaker 5: city of Chicago at the time, or even in Jersey
- 28:50Speaker 5: City for that matter, Uh, you know, and and and
- 28:54Speaker 5: it's been a back and forth argument for a very
- 28:57Speaker 5: long time in this country, and I think at at
- 29:01Speaker 5: the very least, we should be required to present some
- 29:06Speaker 5: sort of identification when we show up at a polling
- 29:09Speaker 5: place to vote here in New Jersey. Though, as you
- 29:11Speaker 5: probably know, ken you walk in, you just give them
- 29:14Speaker 5: your name. You don't have to show them your driver's
- 29:17Speaker 5: license or anything. You know, so right there, it opens
- 29:22Speaker 5: the door to fraud. And heck, I just bought an
- 29:25Speaker 5: iPhone last week, I had to show my driver's license.
- 29:27Speaker 5: I checked into a hotel, I had to show my
- 29:29Speaker 5: driver's license. You know, just about everything we do we
- 29:32Speaker 5: have to show some form of identities identification somewhere. But
- 29:35Speaker 5: we don't have to do that on the most basic
- 29:37Speaker 5: of American rights, which is you know, voting.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Well, do you remember the story a few years back
- 29:42Speaker 2: when Eric Holder, a former Attorney General, showed up to
- 29:46Speaker 2: vote and somebody said you already voted, sir, and he said, no,
- 29:48Speaker 2: I didn't, and apparently somebody walked in. Whether it was
- 29:51Speaker 2: accidental or not, or whether that person had the same name,
- 29:54Speaker 2: which is very possible Eric Holder, they gave the card,
- 29:57Speaker 2: the voting card for Eric Holder, to the other individual,
- 30:00Speaker 2: and so they had to have the Attorney General of
- 30:02Speaker 2: the United States cast a provisionary provisional ballot because according
- 30:06Speaker 2: to the records, he had already voted when he didn't.
- 30:08Speaker 2: So if it could happen to the Attorney General of
- 30:10Speaker 2: the United States, why couldn't it happen to anyone? And
- 30:14Speaker 2: it just again comes down to fairness, and when it
- 30:18Speaker 2: can be resolved by identification, it makes you scratch your head,
- 30:22Speaker 2: especially when Democrats for decades or against the idea of
- 30:27Speaker 2: anyone not here legally voting, and they were four identification
- 30:31Speaker 2: required at voting time, and now suddenly because Orange man
- 30:35Speaker 2: bad is for it, there against it.
- 30:38Speaker 5: I know this is it's really It really says something
- 30:42Speaker 5: about where our country's at right now that we can't
- 30:45Speaker 5: even agree on how we've vote, which is crazy when
- 30:49Speaker 5: you think about it. And getting back to what I
- 30:52Speaker 5: think the really fundamental and excellent point you made a
- 30:55Speaker 5: few minutes ago, Ken, which is when someone votes illegally,
- 30:59Speaker 5: it cancels out somebody else's vote. And right there with
- 31:03Speaker 5: the example of Eric Holder, you see clear evidence of
- 31:06Speaker 5: what happened. Somebody obviously showed up and managed to use
- 31:11Speaker 5: Eric Holder's name. What were they doing it? By mistake?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Was it a you know, some sort of practical joke.
- 31:17Speaker 5: We don't know. But the fact of the matter is
- 31:20Speaker 5: if the Attorney General of the United States showed up
- 31:23Speaker 5: to vote, he was blocked from voting and had to
- 31:27Speaker 5: cast a provisional ballot. That's ridiculous when you really think
- 31:31Speaker 5: about it. And you know, look, do I think we
- 31:34Speaker 5: are going to have presidential elections affected by this kind
- 31:39Speaker 5: of thing? The answer is probably not. But I think
- 31:44Speaker 5: the question you raised, which is there is a fundamental
- 31:48Speaker 5: insult here when this kind of thing happens, that really
- 31:53Speaker 5: erodes our confidence in America, and I think we need
- 31:55Speaker 5: to clean it up.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Quick pivot, Mike, because we only have forty five seconds left.
- 31:59Speaker 2: You have a book called After Ground Zero. Everyday Americans
- 32:02Speaker 2: of the Unhealed Scars of nine to eleven tell us
- 32:06Speaker 2: about that.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Well, it's really a labor of love, Ken, and I'm
- 32:11Speaker 5: so glad you mentioned it. Yes, it's coming out in August,
- 32:14Speaker 5: just in time for the twenty fifth anniversary of nine
- 32:16Speaker 5: to eleven. And I basically trace the lives of about
- 32:20Speaker 5: twenty five people over the past twenty five years who
- 32:23Speaker 5: have all been affected in one way or another by
- 32:25Speaker 5: nine to eleven. Some of them have health problems, some
- 32:28Speaker 5: of them have campaigned to try to find the true
- 32:31Speaker 5: culprits or some of the additional culprits behind this, which
- 32:34Speaker 5: includes some Saudi Arabian officials. And of course, you know
- 32:38Speaker 5: there is the long going hell and serious health problems
- 32:42Speaker 5: for firefighters and police officers and other first responders that
- 32:45Speaker 5: they're still suffering from.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Mike Kelly, you been a labor of love. Yeah, USA
- 32:51Speaker 2: Today and the Record columnists, thank you so much for
- 32:54Speaker 2: coming on this morning. Going to get that book and
- 32:56Speaker 2: have a great day.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Ken, thanks so much. You take care of yourself, Okay,
- 33:00Speaker 5: you as well.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 33:01Speaker 5: Man.
- 33:02Speaker 2: I appreciate your time. And it's going to be a
- 33:04Speaker 2: beautiful Sunday day to day. Highs in the mid eighties.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Taking your calls. Next eight hundred three to two one
- 33:09Speaker 2: zero seven ten Live from.
- 33:11Speaker 1: The WR Life Back Studios, No Mark Zimone Show guest
- 33:16Speaker 1: hosting from Mark Today, Ken Rosado, Good to be.
- 33:20Speaker 2: With you on a beautiful Friday. Let's go straight to
- 33:23Speaker 2: our busy phones. George in my hometown of New Rochelle,
- 33:26Speaker 2: New York. Good morning to George. Oh hi, Kenny, Hi,
- 33:32Speaker 2: you know I'm born in raised down Webster Avenue right
- 33:35Speaker 2: there in middle of the Rochelle right, and.
- 33:38Speaker 6: You know what, I own a college stands for idiots
- 33:41Speaker 6: on North Day. But I'm calling you. I love you,
- 33:45Speaker 6: that Ken.
- 33:46Speaker 4: You are tremendous.
- 33:47Speaker 6: I'm glad to getting a lot of airtime. And I'm
- 33:49Speaker 6: speaking for the audience. Let's remember, folks, that China sent
- 33:54Speaker 6: that COVID virus to America.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Let's remember that.
- 33:57Speaker 6: And also the senator with the birds nest on his head,
- 34:00Speaker 6: mister ran Paul. He never called the stopping the Chinese
- 34:06Speaker 6: airlines from coming into America, never once, And when there
- 34:09Speaker 6: were restrictions put on him, he complained about the restrictions. See,
- 34:13Speaker 6: if they just go after Fauci, we will never get
- 34:16Speaker 6: to the end of this.
- 34:17Speaker 5: You know.
- 34:17Speaker 6: I called talk radios or in the height of it,
- 34:19Speaker 6: and I said they were going after Culmo with the
- 34:21Speaker 6: nursing home. But I set up there. I said, there's
- 34:23Speaker 6: four or five other governors. Who was sending them in
- 34:28Speaker 6: the COVID patients is in a nursing homes, I said,
- 34:30Speaker 6: Governor Murphy Jersey. They hung up bombing, Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: And you know what we got to hang up on
- 34:36Speaker 2: you now, too, only because it's news time here. But
- 34:38Speaker 2: I'm glad I just sat back and let you talk.
- 34:40Speaker 2: See would give you the airtime because we do that
- 34:41Speaker 2: at seven ten WAR. Thank you so much, George. We
- 34:44Speaker 2: appreciate the phone call. Coming up on eleven o'clock right now.
