- 1:07Speaker 1: Cannas slow Pez is not here. Hello Cannas, good morning.
- 1:13Speaker 1: How are you not here? It is me and pooh
- 1:18Speaker 1: we are unsupervised and that is not good for us. Yes,
- 1:23Speaker 1: so Candace, okay, let me explain what's going on. First
- 1:26Speaker 1: of all, I don't know who plans a fourteen day
- 1:29Speaker 1: vacation in two days, but somehow she thought she was
- 1:33Speaker 1: gonna go to Little Rock, Arkansas, then to Nashville, then
- 1:39Speaker 1: the Indianapolis, then to Budapest and somehow make it back
- 1:44Speaker 1: here on Tuesday.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you what didn't happen. She didn't make
- 1:50Speaker 3: it back. No, she didn't. So here we are.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I guess she had a problem with her flight or something.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Her flight got canceled. It was getting delayed and delayed
- 1:57Speaker 1: and delayed and delayed delayed, then it got cancer. She
- 2:00Speaker 1: messaged us yesterday and was like, well it just got canceled.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So now it's today at noon. So she is in Nashville,
- 2:07Speaker 1: where I guess she drove to try to catch a
- 2:09Speaker 1: flight because Indianapolis flight wasn't working.
- 2:12Speaker 2: No, they got canceled.
- 2:13Speaker 3: A game, she.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Drives all the way to Nashville to try to figure
- 2:17Speaker 1: it out, and they get stuck there, conveniently stuck in
- 2:20Speaker 1: one of the coolest cities in America. Yeah, nightlife is
- 2:23Speaker 1: on point. Yeah. Oh we happen to have a great
- 2:27Speaker 1: five star hotel too. I don't know how I got
- 2:30Speaker 1: stuck either way. No, so we're making sure she's good.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But I guess the weather was bad here. The weather
- 2:35Speaker 1: was messed up there. Flights are crazy right now. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: don't know why things get canceled and delayed almost like
- 2:42Speaker 1: every time you travel, it's insane. So here we are
- 2:45Speaker 1: poo and I and I'm nervous, so pooh yesterday. When
- 2:49Speaker 1: I hear this happens, I go, well, who's gonna do
- 2:51Speaker 1: Texas Top Story says yeah, man, I can do it. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I can do it. Where's your sheets for Texas Top Story?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Did you write anything down? I didn't write anything down.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I just you know, put some material I can go over.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, material, yeah, yeah, to keep everybody informed.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Oh okay, so you have material to go over.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yeah all right, So in every world they call it
- 3:13Speaker 2: prep every morning.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Let me explain something.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Every morning Candice comes in, like you know, she comes
- 3:17Speaker 1: in our early, sometimes more than hours, just to get
- 3:21Speaker 1: her first set of stories ready, right, types them up,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you know, puts down all the bullet points, do some research,
- 3:28Speaker 1: figures out what's going to happen, and you have.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I see two doodles over there.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I see the stuicy s and I see an x
- 3:40Speaker 1: in and O and a tic tac toe. So maybe
- 3:44Speaker 1: you could tease us something coming up about what you
- 3:47Speaker 1: got planned.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Oh, big news dealing with a well loved restaurant. I'd
- 3:52Speaker 2: just say that a well loved restaurant, well known and
- 3:56Speaker 2: well loved. Really big news, Yes, shocker poos. First story
- 4:01Speaker 2: tease is food.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well, Tas top Stories on the Tents with Billy's a
- 4:07Speaker 2: Kid in.
- 4:08Speaker 4: The Morning only on the new next one or two point.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Nine normally described b and Candace Lopez has your Texas
- 4:14Speaker 1: Top Stories, but her flight got canceled and she is
- 4:16Speaker 1: stuck in Nashville. So right now it is pull Lopez,
- 4:21Speaker 1: pull Lopez with your Texas Top Stories. And by the way,
- 4:23Speaker 1: sometimes if he's had to do this in the past,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm like, well, you know what, Pooh, we could talk
- 4:27Speaker 1: about this, we could talk about this. This is the
- 4:28Speaker 1: first time I was like, you know what, Pooh, you
- 4:30Speaker 1: know what you're doing. I'm gonna have you do Texas
- 4:32Speaker 1: Top Stories and see what happens. So, without further ado producer, pooh,
- 4:36Speaker 1: Texas Top Stories.
- 4:37Speaker 3: What is going on?
- 4:38Speaker 1: We do the weather.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Let me tell y'all a little bit about the weather.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oh hold on, just say well, usually Candas does the weather,
- 4:44Speaker 1: all right, right, he's looking out the window. Yeah, it
- 4:47Speaker 1: looks all right, there's some clouds.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh my god, a little.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Bit of sun over Dick's sporting goods. Okay, pooh, this
- 4:54Speaker 2: normally where it looks like a lightly like slight chance rain,
- 4:58Speaker 2: slight chance.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It's like chans are Okay, you know what, don't worry
- 5:01Speaker 1: about the weather. Okay, how about that? How about just
- 5:04Speaker 1: start off with whatever you got?
- 5:05Speaker 3: Okay, all right.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Now, this well loved restaurant is doing a form of rebranding.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That's Hooters.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Hooters is trying to find a happy medium between tackie
- 5:17Speaker 2: and family friendly.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So your first story is about Hooters. Yeah that's okay.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I mean it's a Texas and so what's going on?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Texas legend starting Florida, but it's here, it's left k
- 5:27Speaker 2: thank you, okay. So they're trying to win back people
- 5:29Speaker 2: and make it family friendly. So what they're gonna do
- 5:32Speaker 2: is the short shorts are out, and they're just gonna
- 5:35Speaker 2: go with like a beach theme, a friendly like the owner,
- 5:39Speaker 2: the CEO says, it's a friendly family makeover. Also, they're
- 5:43Speaker 2: gonna try to win back you on the food by
- 5:46Speaker 2: changing the sauce.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You know, I never really realized how much I miss
- 5:49Speaker 1: Candice Lopez I right about now.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Oh I know I sound just like her. No, you
- 5:52Speaker 3: really do. I'm sure her first story of it. I'm
- 5:55Speaker 3: about the shorts at Hooters.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, just a rebranding.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So what's the story so their rebrand Yeah, rebranding to
- 6:01Speaker 2: make it family more family friendly.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Okay, pooh, we love hood or snacks. Okay, you just
- 6:05Speaker 1: summed it up right there. Yeah, thank you very much. Okay,
- 6:08Speaker 1: next story, Why don't we just I'll tell you when
- 6:10Speaker 1: to move on? Okay, yeah, okay, no problem, Next story,
- 6:12Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Okay, Little Debbie is launching soft Bait cookies. You know,
- 6:17Speaker 2: little Debty snacks. Everybody loves good snacks. What that's important?
- 6:24Speaker 3: Okay?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Is it all food news? Is this Poo's Food news
- 6:27Speaker 1: or Texas Time stories?
- 6:29Speaker 2: Well, this is all happening in Texas, Okay, And so
- 6:32Speaker 2: Debbie is coming out with a chocolate chip and a
- 6:35Speaker 2: peanut butter cookie. Starts with a buttery base filled with
- 6:40Speaker 2: Simmons pool.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Why is this news?
- 6:43Speaker 2: This is news for people like me that are interested,
- 6:45Speaker 2: you know, snacks.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Little Debbie has a ton of cookies.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Here's the deal. Kids are out this summer. Parents probably
- 6:51Speaker 2: want to know what are the good snacks I can
- 6:53Speaker 2: get my kids because they're gonna be doing you know,
- 6:55Speaker 2: camps and stuff like that. Okay, so these are the
- 6:57Speaker 2: perfect uh, you know, snacks to say in.
- 7:00Speaker 1: A care package if your kid goes to k So
- 7:02Speaker 1: we got new cookies from Little Debby coming out, all right,

- 7:40Speaker 3: All right, go ahead, introducing.

- 8:35Speaker 1: bad weekend. I mean a good weekend, but a bad weekend,
- 8:37Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna lie. I feel bad that she's
- 8:39Speaker 1: stuck in Nashville. She tried so hard to get back yesterday,
- 8:43Speaker 1: like eighteen delays. It was a mess. So we might

- 10:21Speaker 3: Are you ready? Here we go.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Headline at number one, Poo you knew how to play?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Or maybe I should explain it to Pooh too to play?
- 10:27Speaker 2: I just love sometime here, Pooh.
- 10:29Speaker 3: This is what we do.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I give you three headlines and then I tell you
- 10:34Speaker 1: you got Okay, you got it all right? Headline number one,
- 10:38Speaker 1: Alabama man detained for taking his riding lawnmower through a
- 10:42Speaker 1: Chick fil a drive through.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I know, okay, that's your first headline.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Alabama man detained for taking his riding lawn moore through
- 10:54Speaker 1: a Chick fil a drive through.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Headline number two.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Man returns lettuce to grocery store after he hear's it
- 11:00Speaker 1: making noise. Man returns let us to grocery store after
- 11:06Speaker 1: he hears it making noise. Headliner two A headline umber
- 11:09Speaker 1: three Chinese tech company releasing AI powered collar that will
- 11:15Speaker 1: translate your pets sounds into human speech.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Whoa whoa?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Chinese tech company releasing AI powered collar that will translate
- 11:24Speaker 1: your pets sounds into human speech. That's the three headlines.
- 11:30Speaker 1: That does sound cool if it's real. I don't know
- 11:32Speaker 1: if it's.
- 11:32Speaker 6: Real because I have you have a husky.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Oh can you imagine what if your dogs could talk?
- 11:38Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:38Speaker 3: That would be or your cats or you're cussed out
- 11:41Speaker 3: by your dog? Is not fun a bit? I know,
- 11:44Speaker 3: all right?
- 11:44Speaker 1: You know what, Brenda, Since you're the guest, I'm gonna
- 11:46Speaker 1: let you go first, so you tell me, or you
- 11:49Speaker 1: could pass it to the poopoo and let him go first.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Either way, which one do you think is the fake story?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Whatever you want to do. It's Brenda's world.
- 11:58Speaker 2: The second one's got to be psych Okay, you don't
- 12:00Speaker 2: think the story about the lettuce is real, that's all right.
- 12:05Speaker 3: You want to lock that in. Let's lock it in.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Locked in, producer poo, which one do you think is
- 12:10Speaker 1: the fake story?
- 12:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with that last story about the collar.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Last story.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Okay, you don't think someone you dog inventing that. Okay, no,
- 12:18Speaker 1: you don't think that's happening. Let's lock that in. And
- 12:22Speaker 1: the winner today is me, you know, because you didn't
- 12:31Speaker 1: pick the fake story. Both of you missed it. Alabama
- 12:33Speaker 1: man driving through? Uh yeah, Chick fil A was fake?
- 12:37Speaker 2: I just.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Alabama. Guess what brand? It doesn't matter because Brenda, you
- 12:43Speaker 1: won either way. You got Dan and Shade tickets. Congratulations. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm looking you up with tickets because you played along
- 12:50Speaker 1: with us. Oh yeah, how could I not hook you
- 12:52Speaker 1: out there? You go?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Congratulations, Branda. I didn't tell her I was gonna do that.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I was like, you know, if you play with us
- 13:00Speaker 1: and you put up with us, you always win something.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Okay, so every morning, y' hilarious.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Oh you're so sweet. Thank you Brenda, will you stay
- 13:08Speaker 1: right there when it get you hooked up? Okay, oh
- 13:10Speaker 1: my god, you're so welcome, Brenda.
- 13:12Speaker 3: All right, there you go.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Now here's the stories, because the story about the
- 13:16Speaker 1: writing lawnmower is fake, but the.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Real stories very bizarre.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So this translating pet collar is actually happening. They're saying
- 13:25Speaker 1: that this company developed a software AI powered software.
- 13:29Speaker 3: You hook it up to your dog or cat. It's
- 13:30Speaker 3: a collar.
- 13:31Speaker 1: You put it on, it's gonna be able to translate
- 13:33Speaker 1: your dog sounds, barks, and noises into human speech. They're
- 13:38Speaker 1: gonna come out with it in a few months. There's
- 13:40Speaker 1: already been i mean, ten thousand people that have pre
- 13:44Speaker 1: ordered it. It's one hundred and eighteen dollars. But here's
- 13:46Speaker 1: the ill. No one's seen it if it works yet
- 13:50Speaker 1: or not. So they're just ordered. People are ordering this thing,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and I bet you it's some company that's just like, yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: just put some stuff in there, because no one's ever
- 13:58Speaker 1: gonna be able to fact check it, right, Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 1: your dog, your dog said this, You're oh, your dog's mad?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Rough rough, I'm humble, I'm no kidding. So whether it's
- 14:09Speaker 1: gonna work or not, who knows, but people have already
- 14:11Speaker 1: spent I mean, ten thousand pre orders.
- 14:14Speaker 3: It should be on a few months. That story is legit.
- 14:17Speaker 1: The other story that's legit is this guy returned his
- 14:19Speaker 1: lettuce because it was making noise. So this guy in
- 14:22Speaker 1: Australia takes his lettuce home and he's like, I don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: know what's going on, but this lettuce in the bag
- 14:26Speaker 1: is making noise. Yeah. Turns out there's a frog inside
- 14:30Speaker 1: the lettuce.
- 14:33Speaker 3: There is a.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Full blown frog.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Oh, inside the lettuce, the size a little bit small
- 14:39Speaker 2: than the palm of his hand, that had buried his
- 14:41Speaker 2: way into the head of lettuce and was sitting.
- 14:43Speaker 3: There just chilling.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Just yes, this hanging up.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Up.
- 14:49Speaker 1: If Cannas was here, she'd be like, well, at least
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's organic. Yeah, mix one on two point nine. We're
- 14:54Speaker 1: gonna do that at seven point thirty. It's bailing a kid.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Cannas Lompez not here. Flight canceled that she's stuck in
- 14:59Speaker 1: Nash phil where we do have studios, but I don't know.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't think she could get to him. So we're
- 15:05Speaker 1: gonna send her to Diheart studios up there. But I
- 15:07Speaker 1: think she's very busy yes, he is on Broadway in Nashville.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Party.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, right over there at Post Malone's Bar. I think
- 15:13Speaker 1: she's at Post Malone's bar right now. I think she's
- 15:15Speaker 1: a Jelly Rolls bar right now. So we got a
- 15:18Speaker 1: dirty little secret too, we'll do that at seven thirty.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Another shot to go to Disney World, a vacation on us.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We just kicked that off. We do it on the
- 15:24Speaker 1: forties pretty much every hour, all day. Your chance to win.
- 15:27Speaker 1: So when I saw this, I was like, oh, you know,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you know I love a good list. Oh yeah, I
- 15:32Speaker 1: love a good list. Are these the best fads in
- 15:36Speaker 1: the nineteen nineties. So somebody came out with the best
- 15:38Speaker 1: fads of the nineties ten to one, And God, I
- 15:41Speaker 1: feel old talking about this because when I tell my
- 15:43Speaker 1: son Ryder, when I tell him when I was born,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you know.
- 15:47Speaker 3: What, he stops and says.
- 15:49Speaker 1: He goes, wow, Dad, you were born in the nineteen hundred.
- 15:55Speaker 3: When you put it like that, yeah that sounds.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Oh, nineteen hundreds sounds wild. But that was the to me,
- 16:04Speaker 1: the best trends in the best fads in the nineties.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But let's see if this list is accurate. Okay, Number
- 16:10Speaker 1: ten on the list. This was a big fad, was
- 16:13Speaker 1: it one of the best fads?
- 16:14Speaker 3: I don't know. Beanie babies, Oh yeah, beanie babies. Oh yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 2: My sister had about twenty of those things.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna be rich because I had
- 16:22Speaker 1: the purple Princess die and they said it was like
- 16:25Speaker 1: worth fourteen million dollars. It's worth ten It's worth about
- 16:30Speaker 1: ten bucks. I have it right now, still have it.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I might give that away today on the show.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I literally held out of that thing. It was gonna
- 16:39Speaker 3: be my retirement fund. Like forget my four to one k.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I got a purple beanie baby, all right?
- 16:46Speaker 1: That was number ten, number nine on the list. Oh see,
- 16:50Speaker 1: roller blades was number nine. Roller blades.
- 16:54Speaker 3: It was roll I would I was.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I played one.
- 16:57Speaker 3: I played street hockey, so okay, yeah, oh let me
- 16:59Speaker 3: get poo. Can you roller blade?
- 17:01Speaker 2: No? I can't roller bl I can roller skate roller skate.
- 17:05Speaker 1: There's a difference.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I can roller skate. I just can't roller but you cannot.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'm so I wish Cannas is here. I can roller skate.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I'm so tired of you saying you can do stuff
- 17:16Speaker 3: that you can't.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I am so tired. You can water ski, yeah, you
- 17:21Speaker 1: count roller skate? Yeah, I will pay You know what
- 17:25Speaker 1: would you.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Go ahead to start doing a poo challenge?
- 17:27Speaker 3: I could do it. You can do it all right?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I can roller skate, I could ski, I can
- 17:31Speaker 1: produce a show. Blah blah blah. Okay, that's that's number nine.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Well you know what the challenge is that you know?
- 17:39Speaker 1: I'm getting roller skates? Oh yeah, where are you gonna
- 17:43Speaker 1: skate to? I can just skate around like the office.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I don't know why. Everything Pooh does to me is funny.
- 17:50Speaker 1: So just a thought of pool on roller skates, that's
- 17:53Speaker 1: the best visual.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Wheels are wobbly, but I can do it. Your feet
- 17:57Speaker 2: yeah yeah, yeah, I need another line. Let me ask
- 17:59Speaker 2: you something.
- 18:00Speaker 1: How do you think you're gonna skate if your feet
- 18:02Speaker 1: point different directions?
- 18:06Speaker 3: They do? But you know Pooh's pigeon toed? Is that
- 18:09Speaker 3: what it's called? Yeah?
- 18:11Speaker 1: So poo sleuth footed? Yeah, they always call your sleuth footed. Yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 3: So what I'm saying, if your skates are pointing out
- 18:21Speaker 3: where you.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Go, I can turn them inward and go straight. You can, Well,
- 18:26Speaker 1: then why don't you just turn your feet in word?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Yeah you'd walk faster. I think that's why you walk
- 18:31Speaker 1: so slow is your feet are fighting.
- 18:34Speaker 3: That's where to go. It's like some people have lazy eyes.
- 18:39Speaker 3: You have a lazy floor.
- 18:43Speaker 1: All right. That was number nine, Number eighty Oh best
- 18:46Speaker 1: nineties fads? Yeah, slab bracelets, Oh remember those?
- 18:50Speaker 3: They were fun? Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Number seven is something that I wish I would have
- 18:54Speaker 2: kept mine, because if I would have kept it, I
- 18:56Speaker 2: would be in heaven right now.
- 18:57Speaker 3: What starter jacket?
- 19:00Speaker 6: Oh?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Yeah, if I had my Cowboys ninety starter jacket. Oh
- 19:05Speaker 1: they had that one and the Charlotte Hornets one yeap,
- 19:08Speaker 1: oh exactly, those were.
- 19:09Speaker 3: The two coolest jackets.
- 19:13Speaker 1: You didn't have one?
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to Charlotte Hornet because Larry Johnson's from Dallas.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So did you have your starters jacket and your roller
- 19:20Speaker 2: skates on?
- 19:21Speaker 1: No? Okay, thank god. Number six Nintendo Game Boy, Oh, yes,
- 19:29Speaker 1: not bad.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I don't think I do this better than that.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I love playing games.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I think was not a fat That thing was around
- 19:34Speaker 3: for a while.
- 19:34Speaker 1: It was.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I loved Tetris. Oh and ten Yard Fight? Which one?
- 19:39Speaker 3: Ten yard fight?
- 19:40Speaker 1: The little football game?
- 19:41Speaker 3: Oh I don't remember that one. Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Number five, which are back in style right now. Jinko jeans.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I hated Jinko. I'm not gonna lie. I thought they
- 19:51Speaker 1: were silly. Yeah I didn't. I mean I wore some
- 19:54Speaker 1: stupid stuff, yeh K jeans. I wore z Cavarici. Oh yes,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I wore io us we skids, Remember skids. Yeah, I've
- 20:03Speaker 1: remember all that stuff. But I never wore Jinko jeans.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And now they're online going for hundreds of dollars. I
- 20:09Speaker 1: can't believe that. Let's put you in some roller skids
- 20:12Speaker 1: and Jinko jeans.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Over the play all right. Number four in the list
- 20:17Speaker 3: was the super Soakers.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Oh yes, best nineties fads, super Soakers, the water Guns.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Number three grunge music and style. Okay, yeah that was big, Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 1: play Nirvana, all that stuff.
- 20:32Speaker 3: That was huge.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And then everyone dressed a certain way. You had Doc Martin's.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Oh you had jeans, and you knew a lot about music.
- 20:39Speaker 1: If you had short sleeve shirt over a long sleeve shirt.
- 20:45Speaker 1: If you wore that, I pretty much knew you were
- 20:47Speaker 1: a music genie. Right, you were gonna argue over every band.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It was cool.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It was not cool if you had that. Number two.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I never got into POGs, No I didn't either.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Number two well, because in the nineties you were forty
- 21:02Speaker 1: and then number one on the list of the best
- 21:04Speaker 1: nineties trend. The mockerina.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Oh, this was number one on the list. You remember,
- 21:15Speaker 2: this was massive. Let me guess you know how to
- 21:18Speaker 2: do the mocharina too barely, but you know.
- 21:20Speaker 1: What, I'm gonna have you do it on my Instagram.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna have you do it on our Instagram right now.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Mixed one of two point nine. Good morning, I'm billing
- 21:28Speaker 1: a kid. Candas Sloan Pez not here. Producer Pooh is here. Candice,
- 21:33Speaker 1: her flight got canceled. Who's stuck in Nashville right now?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Talk me about a bad weekend. She had a good
- 21:37Speaker 1: weekend though, but I felt so bad because her flight
- 21:39Speaker 1: kept getting delayed, delayed, delayed, non stop delays, then just canceled.
- 21:43Speaker 3: So she's stunk. So I'm stuck with producer Pooh.
- 21:46Speaker 1: He was here, Yeah, he's here, and he did text
- 21:49Speaker 1: his top stories at six ten and he will never.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Do it again.
- 21:53Speaker 1: It was just nothing but food news. So I'm gonna
- 21:57Speaker 1: do this since we have some needles left over. Everybody
- 21:59Speaker 1: wants these needles. There's so many lines for Nito's mystery dumplings.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I figure since Kennis had a bad weekend and I
- 22:04Speaker 1: saw people online having a bad weekend, tell me why
- 22:08Speaker 1: your weekend sucked. If you want a Nito or a
- 22:10Speaker 1: mystery dumpling and people are calling it, I don't even know.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I'm scared.
- 22:13Speaker 1: No way, no, Teresa, Good morning, Teresa. How are you doing?
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm getting I'm okay. But if I see what I
- 22:22Speaker 1: see on the screen is correct, I feel so bad
- 22:25Speaker 1: for you because you had a bad weekend.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Tell me why your weekend sucked.
- 22:32Speaker 6: After thirty four years of marriage, a film a has
- 22:34Speaker 6: been cheating.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You're kidding me? Oh man, you kidd after thirty four
- 22:40Speaker 1: years of marriage? What happened?
- 22:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 22:45Speaker 6: I don't know. I mean I was just I went
- 22:47Speaker 6: to his work and I found him cheating with a coworker.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So that's how you caught it? So you caught him
- 22:53Speaker 1: because you showed up to his work or how to
- 22:55Speaker 1: go down? I want all the tea?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah, went to his work and extra surprise him and
- 23:04Speaker 6: just for lunch and I found him cheating at work.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Man, So did you confront him right then and there?
- 23:11Speaker 2: Did you wait? Or how did it go down? Yeah?
- 23:14Speaker 6: No, it was.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I confronted him right then, and there are you doing okay?
- 23:19Speaker 3: Because I feel so bad for you? You okay?
- 23:23Speaker 6: And I was a good of the money kids. Huh,
- 23:28Speaker 6: I'm doing my best right now.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Well, I feel like I wish I could give you
- 23:32Speaker 1: a big hug because I mean, there's no way, there's
- 23:35Speaker 1: no way that after thirty four years together, you deserve this.
- 23:40Speaker 3: There is no ways. So did he apologize? What did
- 23:45Speaker 3: he say?
- 23:46Speaker 6: Oh? You know all the things that they say, Oh
- 23:49Speaker 6: it was a one time thing, blah blah blah. It's
- 23:52Speaker 6: not been going on very long. But I think it's
- 23:54Speaker 6: been going long on longer than you said.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Really, So what are you going to do? Is it over?
- 24:03Speaker 6: Yeah? I pretty much for thirty four years. Our kids
- 24:05Speaker 6: are grown. There's a reason.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, man, that just bumped You know.
- 24:11Speaker 1: This is why I don't do a lot of dirty
- 24:13Speaker 1: little secrets and stuff like that which we got coming
- 24:15Speaker 1: up next about cheating, because it gives me the biggest
- 24:17Speaker 1: not in my stomach when I hear your voice and
- 24:19Speaker 1: I just hear that, you know, you don't deserve that.
- 24:22Speaker 1: No one deserves that. I don't care, I don't after
- 24:25Speaker 1: a year together, but thirty four years. You think there'd
- 24:27Speaker 1: be some kind of loyalty that you know what you're raised.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You're not just cheating on you. You're cheating. He's cheating
- 24:34Speaker 1: on the kids, he's cheating on the family. He's cheating
- 24:37Speaker 1: on everything that you know he had. He just threw
- 24:39Speaker 1: out the window for what for what? Right?
- 24:44Speaker 6: And yes, just threw everything away.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I don't know if it gets much worse than that. Well, Teresa,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you whatever you want. Let me give
- 24:52Speaker 1: you something and maybe even give to somebody or whatever.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Enjoy yourself and I'll give you whatever, because I feel
- 24:58Speaker 1: so bad in my heart is breaking for you and
- 24:59Speaker 1: I'm I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 25:03Speaker 2: What about the girl? What did the woman say? Did
- 25:05Speaker 2: the woman say anything or no?
- 25:08Speaker 6: No, she turned a run and walked off. Yeah, it
- 25:13Speaker 6: was a pleasant sight. I mean, I'm half authentic. So
- 25:18Speaker 6: the Latino comes out and you know, I could.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Be Yeah, you ready to Yeah, you don't have to
- 25:25Speaker 1: tell me.
- 25:26Speaker 5: It was.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Yeah, it was very pretty that that white side of
- 25:30Speaker 6: me just went out the window.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Because you know what, I laugh, but I'm not trying
- 25:39Speaker 3: to laugh.
- 25:39Speaker 1: But you know what, I get it, and I don't
- 25:42Speaker 1: know what I would do in your shoes, so I
- 25:44Speaker 1: think everybody would understand that you probably rightfully, so you
- 25:48Speaker 1: freaked out rightfully. So stay right there, and if you
- 25:51Speaker 1: need anything from us, just let us know, because my
- 25:54Speaker 1: heart's breaking for you. Hang in there, okay, all right,
- 25:58Speaker 1: thank you so much.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Day right there, Teresa.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Oh man, let's hook Teresa up the need or mystery
- 26:03Speaker 1: dumpling or whatever she wants. My God, Dirty Little Secret

- 26:14Speaker 1: Let's do it. Welcome the Dirty Little Secret on Mix
- 26:16Speaker 1: one on two point nine, Bill at a kid. Candice
- 26:18Speaker 1: Slopez not here today. She's out to be back to
- 26:20Speaker 1: my flank got canceled. She's stuck in Nashville. You know what,
- 26:24Speaker 1: she should have just called in and done the whole
- 26:25Speaker 1: show that way, because God forbid, We're never letting.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Pood do Texas top stories that man.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Again. I had somebody compliment me on Instagram. They said,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I sound like Anderson Anderson Cooper.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Anderson Cooper, you did all food news and it was
- 26:43Speaker 1: it was not one Texas story in there.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Well, Hooters is in Texas.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Who did a story about how Hooters is going to
- 26:51Speaker 1: rebrand themselves and wear different shorts. Right, that was your
- 26:54Speaker 1: first story the lead? All right, and we love Hooters
- 26:58Speaker 1: but wow, okay. Then Sam's Club story about food chicken bites.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Then a little DeBie story about food brand new snacks,
- 27:06Speaker 1: food news with Pooh. Either way, dirty little secret. Chance
- 27:11Speaker 1: to go to Disney World coming up next, hang out
- 27:13Speaker 1: do that. We do it on the forties every hour,
- 27:15Speaker 1: all day, so many chances to win. If you have
- 27:17Speaker 1: a secret eight three three seven eight seven one o
- 27:20Speaker 1: two nine, just get it off your chest. Could be
- 27:22Speaker 1: any kind of secret, doesn't matter. It's a non judgment zone.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Now you have one.
- 27:26Speaker 5: I do. So the guilt has been Honestly, it's been
- 27:29Speaker 5: eating me alive. I don't even I had to tell someone.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I don't even know how to say this, but I
- 27:36Speaker 5: basically accidentally got my almost entire office sick o.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Your entire office.
- 27:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. We we do these pollups once a quarter.
- 27:47Speaker 5: We celebrated hitting like a sales goal. So everybody brought
- 27:50Speaker 5: something in and I had to go with my classic
- 27:54Speaker 5: famous buffalo chicken dip. Everyone asked me to make it
- 27:58Speaker 5: all the.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Time, looks are just weird to me.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Woo, and I feel a special way about potlucks, and
- 28:04Speaker 1: I'm sure your dip is great, but anyway, well, yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 5: No, it's it's typically it's the best. So the morning
- 28:11Speaker 5: of the potluck, it was an absolute disaster. My son
- 28:15Speaker 5: woke up saying he didn't feel good. I'm running late.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I'm trying to get him dressed and out the door.
- 28:21Speaker 5: So I got all the way to his school and
- 28:23Speaker 5: I realized that I forgot the dip sitting on my counter.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Oh yeah, So I raced all the way back home.
- 28:29Speaker 5: I grab it. I head toward work, which is like
- 28:31Speaker 5: forty five minutes away. Yeah, I'm all over the place.
- 28:35Speaker 5: So halfway, I'm halfway there to work, and then my
- 28:39Speaker 5: friend will call me. They're like, you need to come
- 28:41Speaker 5: pick up your son. He's throwing up.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Oh no, then you had to go get him.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Yep, I had to go get him. So I turn
- 28:48Speaker 5: around again, I take him to my mom's. So I
- 28:51Speaker 5: finally make it to work, super late, stressed out. I
- 28:54Speaker 5: throw my dip in the in the conference room, and honestly,
- 28:58Speaker 5: like I didn't think anything about it.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I'm trying to do the math here. That's a lot
- 29:03Speaker 3: of traveling with it.
- 29:04Speaker 1: It has been out this whole time, unrefrigerating. Okay, well
- 29:07Speaker 1: we don't know what happened, so all right, so you
- 29:09Speaker 1: put in the conference room.
- 29:11Speaker 5: I did, yeah, and I was getting good feedback, like
- 29:14Speaker 5: this is amazing. Everyone was loving it as usual. But
- 29:18Speaker 5: by the end of the day, some people at work
- 29:20Speaker 5: started getting sick. Yeah. It wasn't just like one or
- 29:23Speaker 5: two people, it was multiple people. So I'm like, you know,
- 29:27Speaker 5: that's weird. So I left. I checked my email on
- 29:30Speaker 5: my on my phone pretty much through the night every day,
- 29:33Speaker 5: and I'm seeing emails coming through asking if anyone else
- 29:37Speaker 5: is sick. Yeah, And like at first, honestly, I didn't
- 29:42Speaker 5: think it was it was from me. I figured maybe
- 29:45Speaker 5: some like stomach bug was going around because my son
- 29:48Speaker 5: was growing up. I just think it. But I started
- 29:52Speaker 5: to replay the moment, like I'm cleaning my kitchen thinking
- 29:54Speaker 5: about what was going on. So I check in the
- 29:58Speaker 5: trash and I pull out the pack that the chicken
- 30:01Speaker 5: was in from the grocery store. It was legitimately expired
- 30:05Speaker 5: like two weeks six five. I know, I know, and
- 30:10Speaker 5: I did. I never noticed. I didn't even smell, which
- 30:13Speaker 5: is so weird, right, you.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Think, Oh, so that's why your son was was Did
- 30:18Speaker 2: your son.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Have any or no?
- 30:20Speaker 5: Exactly? Yeah, yeah, so he had been grabbing pieces while
- 30:23Speaker 5: I was making the dip, which is why he got sick. No,
- 30:28Speaker 5: I know. It was terrible. I pretty much poisoned my office.
- 30:30Speaker 5: I'm like half of the office called in sick. The
- 30:33Speaker 5: next guy. The other half were running to the bathroom
- 30:36Speaker 5: pale like it was so bad and like the worst part.
- 30:39Speaker 5: I didn't even feel sick, but I had to play
- 30:42Speaker 5: along like I did.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Oh so you didn't get sick, so you didn't get
- 30:47Speaker 3: to go.
- 30:47Speaker 5: No, okay, oh I didn't get sick at all. It's
- 30:50Speaker 5: like my I don't know, maybe my body's the music
- 30:52Speaker 5: fire chicken. It was shot. I was shocked that I didn't.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Get sick, But then you're playing along that you are
- 30:57Speaker 1: sick because you don't.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Did you did?
- 31:00Speaker 2: Did you ever tell them that it was your chicken
- 31:01Speaker 2: or no?
- 31:02Speaker 1: No?
- 31:03Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 31:04Speaker 5: To this day, nobody knows that it was made.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Oh Poo's weird about potlucks. He just doesn't like first
- 31:09Speaker 1: of all, if you have cats, he doesn't trust your cooking,
- 31:12Speaker 1: especially if you have cats.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Because cats walk all over the countertops. Some people just
- 31:17Speaker 2: are too friendly with their cats while they're cooking.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Countercats are weird. Well, I'm so sorry you had to
- 31:24Speaker 1: go through that. Hopefully your son was okay. And I
- 31:26Speaker 1: mean it happens.
- 31:27Speaker 5: I just need to pay attention more, you know.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well, hey, good luck. Thank you for
- 31:32Speaker 1: your confession. Your secret is safe with us.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Thank you for listening.
- 31:36Speaker 3: I am never you're welcome. I will never do another
- 31:38Speaker 3: pot luck.
- 31:39Speaker 1: See every time we have a potluck and poop will
- 31:43Speaker 1: go up to the person that made the dish. You
- 31:44Speaker 1: be like, y'all got cats? Yeah, all right, he's.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Going for Canna's court. He gets settled here with Billy
- 31:55Speaker 4: the Kid in the morning.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Right, And it's not Cannas court today, it's Philly's court.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I've taken it back. It's mixed one or two point
- 32:02Speaker 1: nine Billy to kid. Candas is out today. She is
- 32:05Speaker 1: stuck in Nashville. Or flight got canceled, like eighteen flights
- 32:08Speaker 1: got canceled. Not sure why she tried to tour the
- 32:12Speaker 1: country in two days.
- 32:14Speaker 3: But here we are. Who's here?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, a real road trip. Yeah, Cannas went from Hot Springs, Arkansas,
- 32:21Speaker 1: right she left Friday. She's like, I'm just gonna go
- 32:23Speaker 1: to I'm just gonna make a quick little trip around
- 32:26Speaker 1: Hot Springs, Arkansas. Then I think we're gonna drive up
- 32:29Speaker 1: to Indianapolis. Then we're gonna drive back down to Nashville,
- 32:33Speaker 1: cut over to New Hampshire.
- 32:34Speaker 2: But I'll be back Monday. I got yall, no you won't, No,
- 32:39Speaker 2: you won't. That was like a whole world tour in
- 32:43Speaker 2: two days. But I feel bad. I mean, flights are
- 32:45Speaker 2: just weird lately. I don't know what's going on. There's
- 32:47Speaker 2: so many delays.
- 32:48Speaker 1: So she got delayed in Indianapolis and then delayed again.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Then she's like, I'm gonna drive to Nashville to catch
- 32:53Speaker 1: a flight, and then still got delayed and then canceled.
- 32:57Speaker 3: They said it's over, so she'll be back tomorrow.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So Billy's It used to be Billy's Court back in
- 33:01Speaker 1: the day, until we realized that Candace was more reasonable
- 33:05Speaker 1: and smarter. So it's fine, all right, let me read
- 33:09Speaker 1: you this court that I got Candas court.
- 33:11Speaker 3: But usually he'd send it to at Candas on air.
- 33:14Speaker 3: At Candas on Air.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Now this is a good one because it's some Instagram
- 33:17Speaker 1: drama this girl wrote, and she said, I'm in a
- 33:19Speaker 1: weird situation with my ex husband. We've been divorced for
- 33:22Speaker 1: a little over a year, and it both moved on.
- 33:25Speaker 1: We were together for almost five years. We don't have
- 33:28Speaker 1: kids together, and it was a pretty simple civil divorce.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Here's the issue. I started dating someone new a couple
- 33:34Speaker 1: months ago, and he hates the fact that my ex
- 33:37Speaker 1: husband still has a few pictures of me up on
- 33:40Speaker 1: his Instagram. I told him I can't control of my
- 33:44Speaker 1: ex does on social media. And do I think it's
- 33:47Speaker 1: weird that he has pictures of me up? Yes?
- 33:49Speaker 3: But what am I gonna.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Do about it? I want him to take him down?
- 33:53Speaker 1: But is it weird if I ask him to do so.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I'm not sure who's being more weird in this situation,
- 34:00Speaker 1: my ex husband or the new guy I'm dating. Please help? Okay,
- 34:06Speaker 1: interesting situation here. So they were together, now they're divorced.
- 34:12Speaker 1: He's got pictures up on his Instagram of them together
- 34:15Speaker 1: because for whatever reason. Now, is that weird in itself
- 34:20Speaker 1: that you have pictures of your ex on Instagram? Yes?
- 34:23Speaker 1: I don't think it's the weirdest thing ever. I don't
- 34:25Speaker 1: think that it's I mean normal. Do most people get
- 34:29Speaker 1: rid of how long they've been split up again?
- 34:32Speaker 3: Almost a year?
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, he's still got pictures of up them together.
- 34:38Speaker 3: No, it's a little weird. But here's the more bizarre
- 34:41Speaker 3: part to me.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Why is the new guy checking the ex husband's Instagram? Okay,
- 34:48Speaker 1: first of all, what is going on? Why in the world?
- 34:51Speaker 1: And I have so many questions about that guy. Why
- 34:54Speaker 1: in the world would he be on How does it
- 34:56Speaker 1: come up? He's got to be checking that she.
- 35:00Speaker 2: No, No, everybody, First of all, when you first start
- 35:03Speaker 2: dating somebody, you're gonna go You're gonna go creep yourself
- 35:06Speaker 2: and see what you're dealing with. So you I'm gonna
- 35:09Speaker 2: go creep on the Yeah, if I'm Yeah, if I'm
- 35:11Speaker 2: dating a girl, I'm gonna look on her Instagram, Facebook,
- 35:15Speaker 2: just you know, just to make sure. No, you're missing it.
- 35:18Speaker 2: He it's not on her instagram. Who oh, I know
- 35:23Speaker 2: that I'm talking about.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So if you go look, you think it's normal to
- 35:29Speaker 1: go creep on, you're not getting you think it's normal
- 35:33Speaker 1: to creep on your new girlfriend's X. I'm sure I'm
- 35:38Speaker 1: not alone on this.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Girls is not normal. Girls are worse than guys. Everybody
- 35:44Speaker 2: creeps to just see who they used to date or
- 35:46Speaker 2: whatever and whatnot. I'm sure, I'm sorry I'm telling you, Well,
- 35:50Speaker 2: you might not, but I tell her that's some weird
- 35:55Speaker 2: girl behavior. You gotta tell him to take you down
- 35:58Speaker 2: first of all. And yeah, what's wrong with creep? And
- 36:00Speaker 2: everybody creeps? You don't creep on nobody.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I've never Yeah, I'll creep, but I'm not creeping on
- 36:06Speaker 1: a new If I'm dating a new girl, I'm not
- 36:07Speaker 1: creeping on her ex. Just why. But but sometimes I
- 36:12Speaker 1: don't even know who the guy, especially if they don't
- 36:13Speaker 1: have kids together. Now, if you have kids together and
- 36:15Speaker 1: you have pictures of you and your kids, uh, you don't.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Have to take those down. Whatever.
- 36:20Speaker 1: If you have a bunch of pictures of your ex
- 36:21Speaker 1: up and it's excessive, yes, that's weird. Would I tell somebody, Hey,
- 36:26Speaker 1: I think it's weird that your ex husband has a
- 36:27Speaker 1: picture you are that's on him.
- 36:28Speaker 3: He's a weirdo, not her.
- 36:30Speaker 1: How's she going to control.
- 36:31Speaker 2: It by telling them, Hey, that's your ag she had,
- 36:35Speaker 2: she has history with them. Hey, I need you to
- 36:37Speaker 2: take those down? Like and plus, even on Instagram, sometimes
- 36:41Speaker 2: it comes up people who you know or whatever, and
- 36:44Speaker 2: you can see it you stalk, Yeah, if it ain't private,
- 36:47Speaker 2: but yeah, there's there's Why.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Would it if that pops up? So you're that surprised
- 36:52Speaker 3: me by you?
- 36:52Speaker 1: So that would click if you saw that, you would
- 36:55Speaker 1: go look at your new girlfriends?
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah, just check.
- 36:59Speaker 1: No, this is a little snoop snoop. Girls do it
- 37:02Speaker 1: all the time. I got girlfriends that say they always
- 37:05Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna take a poll right now
- 37:06Speaker 1: before I get my decision. They do.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I think it's weird.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Ladies, I want to know, do you creep on your
- 37:11Speaker 1: new boyfriend's ex girlfriends? Eight three, three, seven, eight seven
- 37:15Speaker 1: one O two nine? Who are you creeping on? Who's
- 37:17Speaker 1: root in this situation? Because I think it's extremely weird
- 37:21Speaker 1: and this would be the biggest red flag for the
- 37:23Speaker 1: new guy she's dating. To me, this would be a
- 37:26Speaker 1: red flag on him, not the ex. The ex is
- 37:28Speaker 1: maybe a weirdo, but he's your ex, right Who cares
- 37:31Speaker 1: he's in the past, doesn't matter the fact that new
- 37:33Speaker 1: boyfriend is creeping on your ex. Six red flags over
- 37:39Speaker 1: Texas six why six? So I made my decision, Ladies,
- 37:42Speaker 1: woulding you think eight three to three, seven, eight seven
- 37:44Speaker 1: one O two nine and Billy's Court. My decision is simple.
- 37:48Speaker 1: New boyfriend guilty of being a controlling carl Oh no,
- 37:54Speaker 1: come on, judge one hundred thousand percent, or an overbearing
- 37:58Speaker 1: Oliver or an over married Oliver. The fact that you're
- 38:03Speaker 1: creeping on her ex is weird. Weird o Walter, you
- 38:11Speaker 1: and Pooh. It's a bill at a kid Candice Lopez
- 38:14Speaker 1: out Today, Producer Pooh is here. So it was Billy's Court,
- 38:18Speaker 1: now on Billy's Court. The situation was this girl a
- 38:21Speaker 1: little bit confused because she's been divorced for almost a year.
- 38:24Speaker 1: She's dating a new guy. We're getting calls about this
- 38:26Speaker 1: and a lot of a lot of messages and some people.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Agreeing poos, some people agree with me.
- 38:31Speaker 1: She was upset because new guy she's dating wants her
- 38:37Speaker 1: ex husband to take down a picture of.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Them on Instagram.
- 38:42Speaker 1: So ex husband still has pictures of them up because well,
- 38:45Speaker 1: I mean, some people immediately purge everything and get rid
- 38:49Speaker 1: of every picture they've ever had of an ex as
- 38:51Speaker 1: soon as they break up. Some people don't. This ex didn't.
- 38:55Speaker 1: He's still got a few pictures up. New guy is like,
- 38:58Speaker 1: this is kind of weird. Can you ask him to
- 38:59Speaker 1: take it down. To me, it's kind of weird that
- 39:01Speaker 1: you would ask anybody to do anything on their Instagram
- 39:05Speaker 1: if it's theirs, and if it's your ex.
- 39:08Speaker 3: To me, that's a.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Huge red flag, huge red flag that he is checking
- 39:14Speaker 1: her ex husband's Instagram because that's only way he knows happening.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got a valid point, I'm telling you. If
- 39:20Speaker 2: take it down, Yeah, take take take it down. Y'all
- 39:23Speaker 2: are divorced, You need to ask your man, your ex,
- 39:26Speaker 2: take those pictures down.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Have you ever asked anybody to take a picture down
- 39:30Speaker 1: on Instagram?
- 39:32Speaker 3: Never?
- 39:33Speaker 1: If an X had a picture of me up, I'd
- 39:35Speaker 1: be like, well, it is what it is. I'm not
- 39:36Speaker 1: gonna get mad about it. I don't care why she's
- 39:38Speaker 1: still trying to hold on to that PC. That's not
- 39:41Speaker 1: that that's the case. It's just that we're grown ups,
- 39:44Speaker 1: right and we were together. So if there's a picture
- 39:47Speaker 1: of me up doesn't bother me. I have pictures of ex'es.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I have ex girlfriends from fifteen years ago that I
- 39:53Speaker 1: pictures of me up on their Facebook right now? Real
- 39:56Speaker 1: not weird to me? Yeah, that's kind of weird.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Still have me tagged on Facebook.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Well, the girl I just recently broke up with me,
- 40:04Speaker 2: you know that dumped me.
- 40:06Speaker 1: She took our picture down? Well I would have too. Yeah, wow, way,
- 40:12Speaker 1: because you.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Didn't treat me right. Let me get to this now,
- 40:16Speaker 3: is it?
- 40:16Speaker 1: Is it Nevada or is it Nevada? Nevada? Okay, Nevada?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 40:21Speaker 3: How are you?
- 40:22Speaker 5: I'm great? How are you?
- 40:23Speaker 1: I'm good?
- 40:24Speaker 4: Now?
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm so curious what you think, because I mean, is
- 40:26Speaker 1: there a statue of limitations to ask an ex to
- 40:29Speaker 1: take a picture down on Instagram of you?
- 40:32Speaker 4: Like?
- 40:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I just I wouldn't even worry about it.
- 40:35Speaker 1: What do you think I wouldn't.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Worry about it either, because that's his memory. So why
- 40:40Speaker 5: do you care?
- 40:41Speaker 6: She all worked together for a long time, so he
- 40:44Speaker 6: has every.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Rot to keats it up. I mean, he's not bothering you.
- 40:48Speaker 2: No, Well you have to click this town to go
- 40:51Speaker 2: to Insta, so scroll on.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I agree with you. So yeah, because poo's over your tail,
- 41:00Speaker 1: I mean he thinks it's normal if you creep on
- 41:02Speaker 1: your new your new partner's exes.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Oh no, that's weird. Red flag for sure.
- 41:08Speaker 5: That dude is going to be so controlling and he's
- 41:10Speaker 5: gonna expect you to not have.
- 41:12Speaker 1: A past exactly even if Now let me ask you this,
- 41:17Speaker 1: what if she had a picture of her accept well, like,
- 41:19Speaker 1: what if she had a picture of her and her
- 41:20Speaker 1: ex up and not a bunch of them but like one,
- 41:23Speaker 1: do you expect someone to take it down? Or do
- 41:25Speaker 1: you just like I don't care, leave it up. It's
- 41:26Speaker 1: what you were with him. It is what it is.
- 41:28Speaker 5: But leave it up.
- 41:30Speaker 7: It's just a part of your memory.
- 41:32Speaker 5: You can't erase everything.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. I will, I will say, though I
- 41:38Speaker 2: wouldn't be thrilled about it. Keep the picture in your phone.
- 41:41Speaker 2: You don't need it on your ig, your Facebook.
- 41:46Speaker 6: So you Instagram, you're that.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Guy who you get mad? Hell, the new girl you're
- 41:51Speaker 1: dating has pictures of her ex up? Yes, take those down.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I don't want to see that. So what if they
- 41:55Speaker 1: have kids together? What if it's a picture of their
- 41:57Speaker 1: kids and them?
- 41:57Speaker 2: Now, if they have kids, I'll give her a pass
- 42:00Speaker 2: of the pictures of the key. But see, Nevada Poo
- 42:02Speaker 2: doesn't even post pictures of the girls he's dating.
- 42:05Speaker 3: What he have? You never have?
- 42:09Speaker 5: You don't want nobody creeping on them.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Let me ask you something.
- 42:14Speaker 1: You're right.
- 42:15Speaker 2: You're right though, But I've known Pooh for twenty six
- 42:19Speaker 2: years and he has never posted a girl online.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Well I did one time. Who try to keep.
- 42:26Speaker 5: His options open?
- 42:28Speaker 6: Oh?
- 42:29Speaker 5: Pictures of girls and his options are closed?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Oh you are?
- 42:35Speaker 3: You know what? You're so right?
- 42:36Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much. I appreciate you calling up
- 42:40Speaker 1: and we love you for that. Okay, have a good day.
- 42:42Speaker 3: About it you bye.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I'm not hating. I'm just saying you've never done I
- 42:46Speaker 1: know twenty six years. We could take it back to
- 42:49Speaker 1: my space that you didn't even.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Put your lot.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I had a girl at my top and
- 42:52Speaker 2: oh damn, you had a girl who Carrie.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I know I'll put Carrie because you put her in
- 42:58Speaker 1: your top. B you never posted pictures together. I'm ever,
- 43:00Speaker 1: it doesn't matter, you know. That's that's so was Tom.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Well, that's a hot takee let us know what you think.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Here's today's hot take.
- 43:12Speaker 3: If you get a chance to go to Disney World.
- 43:13Speaker 1: That coming up next on Mixed one or two point
- 43:15Speaker 1: nine Bill at a kid Candislopez not here, producer poo here.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Candas is not here because her flight got canceled. She
- 43:21Speaker 1: was torn the country in a matter of two days.
- 43:24Speaker 1: She went on a fifteen city stop in two days
- 43:26Speaker 1: and got stuck in Nashville. I guess there was storms
- 43:30Speaker 1: and delays and all this stuff. So a hot take
- 43:31Speaker 1: of the day. Did you see this girl go viral
- 43:34Speaker 1: on TikTok? And I know that we have all talked
- 43:37Speaker 1: about tipping and how some people think that our tipping
- 43:40Speaker 1: culture is out of control and it's just it's too
- 43:44Speaker 1: much and people are going everywhere and everyone's expecting tips.
- 43:49Speaker 1: This girl went off because listen to where she was
- 43:52Speaker 1: asked to tip.
- 43:52Speaker 7: So yesterday it finally happened to me. I see people
- 43:54Speaker 7: make tiktoks about it all the time, but like I
- 43:57Speaker 7: was on the lookout this time because you know, people
- 43:59Speaker 7: chatted by I go into the froyo shop, grab your
- 44:01Speaker 7: own cup, you fill your own fro yo I was
- 44:04Speaker 7: agreed to when I walked in either, which is okay,
- 44:07Speaker 7: it's froyo shop. I did my own toppings, I waited
- 44:11Speaker 7: in line. I used Apple Pay, so nobody even had
- 44:14Speaker 7: to grab my card to take my payment. And then
- 44:18Speaker 7: the screen goes how much would you like to tip?
- 44:21Speaker 6: Who?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Who would I tip? If anything, the option needs to
- 44:26Speaker 2: be how much would.
- 44:27Speaker 7: You like to be tipped?
- 44:28Speaker 1: Okay?
- 44:29Speaker 7: No one even had to grab my debit card out
- 44:31Speaker 7: of my hand to process the payment. Why would I
- 44:35Speaker 7: tip the hourly waged employee who said have a good
- 44:39Speaker 7: day as I walked out?
- 44:41Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think anybody's gonna argue with that. Is
- 44:44Speaker 1: anybody gonna argue with the fact that we shouldn't be
- 44:45Speaker 1: tipping self service fro yo No, no, no.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Right, that's ridiculous.
- 44:51Speaker 1: But here's a list of places I want to ask you,
- 44:54Speaker 1: Pooh and everyone else if you're listening. Eight three three seven,
- 44:57Speaker 1: eight seven one o two nine, do you tip?
- 45:00Speaker 3: Okay? Do you tip or not tip in these situations?
- 45:03Speaker 3: If it's so out of control?
- 45:05Speaker 1: Let's go through one by one and see if we
- 45:08Speaker 1: tip in situations like this because money's tight. I get
- 45:10Speaker 1: it right now, money is tight. Okay, Chipotle? No, Why
- 45:17Speaker 1: do I have a feeling everything's gonna be No? No, no, Chipotle,
- 45:22Speaker 1: you say no? See I thought.
- 45:24Speaker 3: You would say yes on Chipotle?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Okay, no, no, Now why I.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Mean, because like they're making my food right there in
- 45:34Speaker 2: and there, Like what are they doing?
- 45:35Speaker 1: They're doing their job?
- 45:37Speaker 3: Okay?
- 45:38Speaker 1: See, like Chipotle is one of those places that I love.
- 45:41Speaker 1: But you I know, but there's a jar, a tip jar.
- 45:45Speaker 1: If I have a couple of bucks, you throw it
- 45:47Speaker 1: in there. Yeah, I'll throw a.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Couple bucks in there.
- 45:49Speaker 1: If I don't, then I'm not gonna go out of
- 45:51Speaker 1: my way to try to do it.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Okay, but it doesn't really bother me. Okay, what about this?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Because they are making they are making your food and
- 45:58Speaker 2: I'm watching them.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I mean, you know that is is that a service?
- 46:03Speaker 1: Is that considered a service if someone's making your food?
- 46:06Speaker 1: I mean, is there job?
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 46:08Speaker 3: Yeah, all right?
- 46:09Speaker 1: Subway?
- 46:10Speaker 2: Oh no, no, not at all? No, wow, because he's
- 46:14Speaker 2: a sandwich artist. Yes, I can make my own sandwich
- 46:17Speaker 2: at home too.
- 46:18Speaker 3: You're not at home?
- 46:19Speaker 1: Yeah? But no, no, no on subway.
- 46:21Speaker 2: No.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Okay, what about this one?
- 46:23Speaker 1: I should have asked somebody else because I have a
- 46:25Speaker 1: feeling it's gonna get the same answer. What about Starbucks?
- 46:30Speaker 1: I have a rule about Starbucks. Here's my rule about Starbucks.
- 46:34Speaker 1: If I order something that they have to make and
- 46:36Speaker 1: it's complicated, then I tip. If I'm just getting a
- 46:40Speaker 1: coffee and they just pour it in and they hand
- 46:43Speaker 1: it to me, I don't know if I'm that hype
- 46:45Speaker 1: about tipping.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Okay, I have a rule also on Starbucks, never tip. No.
- 46:51Speaker 2: If I'm in there and it's just me by myself,
- 46:53Speaker 2: but nobody else is in line behind me, Where to.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Where I'll get embarrassed? I ain't tip it.
- 47:00Speaker 2: But if somebody else is in line behind me and
- 47:02Speaker 2: they turn it around, go here's a couple of questions.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I'll at least add a dollar or two. Really, yeah,
- 47:07Speaker 2: because I don't want to be embarrassed. I don't want
- 47:08Speaker 2: to look like the you know what I especially if
- 47:11Speaker 2: it's a hot girl behind me.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm be like, oh yeah, man, you know
- 47:15Speaker 1: you study is poof for the longest time. He always
- 47:19Speaker 1: you say, well, you know what, I always go on
- 47:21Speaker 1: the mobile ap because there's no tipping off shop on
- 47:23Speaker 1: the mobil at.
- 47:24Speaker 3: But there is a tipping off Okay. What about a
- 47:29Speaker 3: vape shop?
- 47:30Speaker 1: Oh, I ain't tipping you for no vape. No. Somebody
- 47:33Speaker 1: told me that that I don't go to vape shop, right,
- 47:36Speaker 1: but somebody told me that they're asking for tips.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Now, wow, So.
- 47:39Speaker 2: You can just hand me my cartridge so I can
- 47:40Speaker 2: go out and pump the magic dragon outside.
- 47:43Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't, Okay, baby, either. But no hotel housekeeping,
- 47:48Speaker 1: no what for what? That's wild? Now that's someone I
- 47:51Speaker 1: do tip. You tip the hotel.
- 47:54Speaker 3: I'll give you my theory on it. Hold on to
- 47:56Speaker 3: go orders.
- 47:57Speaker 2: To No, no, no, no, not at all.
- 48:02Speaker 3: I'm not seeing twenty percent, not at all.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Oh, okay, Chilis, I'll tip a few bucks sometimes Chili's,
- 48:10Speaker 2: Chili's to go. Yeah, why Chili's and why nowhere else?
- 48:13Speaker 2: Because that's usually where I go. That's my go to spot.
- 48:16Speaker 2: So you will do a couple of bucks, now, a
- 48:17Speaker 2: couple of bucks of Chili's. Okay, I'll do chill.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm not seeing you do twenty percent. But they're still
- 48:21Speaker 1: getting your food ready and whatnot. I mean it's still
- 48:24Speaker 1: they're still in the service industry. They're getting paid the
- 48:26Speaker 1: same amount of money as the waitress and waiter, right,
- 48:29Speaker 1: which is not much.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, door.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Dash Oh no, no, you had to hold odd. Yeah,
- 48:37Speaker 2: I'm at war with DoorDash.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Right. You don't tip door dash drivers?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Tell you, now, that's ridiculous. I have a valid reason.
- 48:44Speaker 1: They literally do it for tips.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't tell I wait to deliver my food.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Why I live on the third floor and I put
- 48:52Speaker 2: in there specific call me or whatever so you can get.
- 48:55Speaker 1: In and bring me my food or whatever.
- 48:57Speaker 2: And nine times out of ten they see this three stories,
- 49:01Speaker 2: no elevator and they drop it off at the least
- 49:03Speaker 2: in office. Well, I gotta go all the way around
- 49:06Speaker 2: the building. One time I couldn't even find my food.
- 49:09Speaker 2: They took a picture and I was like, what building
- 49:11Speaker 2: is that? They put it in a different building and
- 49:14Speaker 2: put it at the front door.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Maybe they just no man.
- 49:17Speaker 2: And I give them specific instructions and I.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Even say you could call me. But if they mess
- 49:22Speaker 1: that up, then cool. Then you then you can change it.
- 49:24Speaker 1: I think you can change their tip. But if they
- 49:26Speaker 1: don't mess it up, you should tip your door dash
- 49:28Speaker 1: and breads people.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I just I've been salty ever since every time, Like
- 49:31Speaker 2: I ordered door dash a week ago and they did
- 49:33Speaker 2: me like that.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Let me give you the biggest life hack when it
- 49:35Speaker 1: comes to tipping, because I don't believe that you should
- 49:37Speaker 1: tip everybody. But I believe if you don't want to tip,
- 49:40Speaker 1: that's fine. Here's my theory on tipping. If you don't
- 49:43Speaker 1: want to tip, expect average service and that's there's nothing
- 49:46Speaker 1: wrong with that. Okay, you know, unless you're a waiter
- 49:48Speaker 1: or waitress and you go. If you go out to eat,
- 49:50Speaker 1: you gotta tip, period, right of course, twenty percent.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Here's my theory.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Everywhere else when it comes to housekeeping or anything else,
- 49:56Speaker 1: if you want exceptional service, right, you gotta tip. And
- 50:00Speaker 1: here's my here's my secret. If you want the best
- 50:03Speaker 1: service ever and you want to be treated VIP, yeah,
- 50:07Speaker 1: you tip before before.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I'm telling you.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I know you're gonna think I'm crazy before if you want, like, okay,
- 50:16Speaker 1: let me give you an example.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Okay, here's how I'll say.
- 50:18Speaker 1: If you're going to and I'm not saying you do
- 50:20Speaker 1: this every time, if you're going to Chili's, whatever, But
- 50:21Speaker 1: if you're going to let's say, a nice restaurant for
- 50:24Speaker 1: an occasion with your girl or whatever, you throw that
- 50:27Speaker 1: waiter waitress are twenty before you even order, you're gonna
- 50:33Speaker 1: get the best service of your life.
- 50:35Speaker 3: I promise you.
- 50:35Speaker 1: You're just doing that to press your date. You get
- 50:39Speaker 1: better service. You just try to look yeah girl, no.
- 50:44Speaker 3: I don't even let her.
- 50:46Speaker 1: She didn't have to see it. But you're gonna get
- 50:48Speaker 1: the best if you walk in there and you're like, hey,
- 50:51Speaker 1: thank you for making this a special night. For us
- 50:52Speaker 1: and you had them a twenty. You will get the
- 50:55Speaker 1: best service of your life from that waiter or waitress.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I do it at a hotel too, and a hot
- 51:01Speaker 1: it doesn't even have to be a little It is
- 51:02Speaker 1: making your bed and stuff.
- 51:04Speaker 3: You don't tip housekeepers at all. If you're going to
- 51:06Speaker 3: a place.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Listen, if you're going to a place and you're gonna
- 51:08Speaker 1: stay there for a week, and you're on a nice vacation, right,
- 51:11Speaker 1: and doesn't it have to be a ton of money,
- 51:13Speaker 1: and you hand them you're gonna be Hey, you're gonna
- 51:14Speaker 1: be your own week And she says yeah. Whoever says yeah, hey,
- 51:17Speaker 1: thank you for taking care of us in my room. Here.
- 51:20Speaker 1: I'm sure I'll give you some more later, but here
- 51:22Speaker 1: for now, I appreciate you hand them much twenty. Best
- 51:25Speaker 1: service of your life, Poo. You will get the best
- 51:27Speaker 1: service of your life if you do that. I'm telling
- 51:31Speaker 1: you right now.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I think you just I don't see myself giving up
- 51:35Speaker 2: that twenty like that.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Oh No, I don't either, But I'm telling you if
- 51:39Speaker 1: you're want good service to her Mix one of two
- 51:46Speaker 1: point nine A Good Morning Being in a Kid Candislow
- 51:49Speaker 1: Pants producer Poo Candace actually out today. She's stuck in
- 51:51Speaker 1: Nashville or flight got canceled.
- 51:53Speaker 3: So hopefully she'll be back by tomorrow.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I don't know. If not, we might have another day
- 51:57Speaker 1: of Poo doing Texas top stories, which actually will never
- 52:00Speaker 1: happen again. But oh, we gotta say to Robin, thinking
- 52:03Speaker 1: Robin who works and runs a lot of the true Hiltons.
- 52:05Speaker 2: She said, tip your housekeeper set her and her daughter Demmy. Yeah,
- 52:09Speaker 2: they clout me on Instagram. We love them and if
- 52:13Speaker 2: they told you to, then you need to. I will, period,
- 52:15Speaker 2: even if it's a couple bucks.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Boo, I can do that.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Stop leaving all the sheets all nasty. We have a
- 52:22Speaker 1: new listener alert. I gotta say hi to Shana. Thank
- 52:24Speaker 1: you Shana for listening. We appreciate you so much. He
- 52:27Speaker 1: hit me up on Instagram and she just moved here
- 52:30Speaker 1: from Seattle, Like, welcome to Dallas. She said, I can't
- 52:33Speaker 1: believe that you and Pooh have worked together and known
- 52:35Speaker 1: each other for twenty six years.
- 52:37Speaker 3: How the heck did you two meet? So I'm like,
- 52:40Speaker 3: you know what people always.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Ask us this question? Yeah, well we got to talk
- 52:44Speaker 1: about it because some people know, some people don't know.
- 52:46Speaker 3: But who and I.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Yes, we've worked together for twenty I can't believe that
- 52:51Speaker 1: twenty six years.
- 52:52Speaker 2: How I don't know we're married. Well, we've been divorced
- 52:58Speaker 2: in my head for years. Okay, but I.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Still posting your buddies. Yeah you do, and I wish
- 53:05Speaker 1: you wouldn't take me down. So, yes, we've worked together
- 53:09Speaker 1: for twenty six years. And I've known candids for twenty
- 53:12Speaker 1: years too. The way Pooh and I met, though, is funny,
- 53:16Speaker 1: because first of all, I'm so lucky that I've been
- 53:18Speaker 1: on the air here for so long, for twenty six years.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Thank you for listening. I mean, that's what means the
- 53:24Speaker 3: world to me.
- 53:25Speaker 1: So when I first moved here, I worked for a
- 53:27Speaker 1: station called Hot one hundred and it was one hundred
- 53:31Speaker 1: point three. Now it's not something else, whatever, things change.
- 53:34Speaker 1: When I first moved here, I get here in the
- 53:37Speaker 1: first day, I'm supposed to start. The boss at the time.
- 53:40Speaker 1: This is the worst thing, one of the worst things
- 53:42Speaker 1: it's ever happened to me in my career. By the way,
- 53:45Speaker 1: the first day I walk in and the boss goes, oh, crap,
- 53:50Speaker 1: I forgot to fire the old show. And I'm looking
- 53:55Speaker 1: into the studio into the Hot one hundred studios at
- 53:58Speaker 1: the time, and there's a bunch of people in there,
- 54:01Speaker 1: and one of the guys was Pooh. Yeah, I was
- 54:04Speaker 1: ready for the to start the show that night.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Did you know you were getting fired?
- 54:08Speaker 4: No?
- 54:08Speaker 3: I didn't know because of me.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know. So I go, are you serious?
- 54:13Speaker 1: And he goes, yeah, I'll be right back. He goes
- 54:15Speaker 1: in the studio and he fires everybody. Yeah, and then
- 54:18Speaker 1: he goes, all right, you're good because a couple of
- 54:21Speaker 1: those guys they work promotions.
- 54:23Speaker 5: He just came in.
- 54:24Speaker 1: He was like, uh, you gotta go, you gotta go.
- 54:26Speaker 3: You're fired. Your fire you Poo just started.
- 54:29Speaker 1: By the way, I had only been on the air
- 54:31Speaker 1: for two weeks. He was fired, so and I had
- 54:34Speaker 1: to walk into the studio and do a show alone,
- 54:37Speaker 1: and everybody hated me, and I'm like, okay, great. Well,
- 54:41Speaker 1: a couple of weeks later, I see Pooh at a
- 54:42Speaker 1: club and he goes, why'd you fire me?
- 54:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 54:47Speaker 1: I go, I didn't fire you. They fired you. The
- 54:49Speaker 1: guy fired you. And he goes, well, I want my
- 54:51Speaker 1: job back, and I'm like, I'll be honest with you.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I told Poo this the first time I ever met
- 54:56Speaker 1: him and I talked to him. I said, I gotta
- 54:58Speaker 1: be honest. The boss told me you were lazy, and
- 55:03Speaker 1: the boss told you what about me, that he had
- 55:05Speaker 1: a bad attitude, And guess what, they were both right.
- 55:12Speaker 1: And what I said, I said, you know what, if
- 55:13Speaker 1: you want your job back, come back in. Yeah, come
- 55:16Speaker 1: back in and maybe.
- 55:17Speaker 3: I'll hire you.
- 55:18Speaker 1: And here we are, twenty six years later. And if
- 55:21Speaker 1: there's anything that boss ever said to me that was
- 55:24Speaker 1: right with Pooh was lazy somehow, some way because you
- 55:30Speaker 1: don't have a bad thank you. I don't know you
- 55:34Speaker 1: did it back, but he was right about you. It's
- 55:37Speaker 1: Billy the Kid, Cannic Sloan pans out Today producer Pooh
- 55:40Speaker 1: is here.
- 55:40Speaker 3: He won't be doing Texas Top Stories. Just learned our lesson.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I didn't want to talk about this story though that
- 55:46Speaker 1: happened in Tennessee, because I know a lot of people
- 55:47Speaker 1: graduating this year. Congratulations class of twenty twenty six. Some
- 55:51Speaker 1: people are already out, some people graduating. This story, though
- 55:54Speaker 1: this happened in Tennessee's got to be one of the
- 55:56Speaker 1: funniest videos I've seen in a long time. They did
- 55:59Speaker 1: a great graduation ceremony, and I just posted it on
- 56:02Speaker 1: our Instagram and Mott you could see it at Billy
- 56:04Speaker 1: on the radio at Billy on the radio, and it
- 56:08Speaker 1: is a torrential downpour, downpour raining, and they did not stop.
- 56:15Speaker 1: And the school is now getting threatened for lawsuits and whatnot.
- 56:20Speaker 1: They did not They were reading off names so fast.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Everybody's got ponchos on they're getting it's a thunderstorm. People
- 56:28Speaker 1: are mad though, because I get some elderly people slipped.
- 56:31Speaker 1: There was people in there and it's just no cover.
- 56:34Speaker 1: It's outside on the football field and they're reading names
- 56:37Speaker 1: as fast as they can and people are just getting drench.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Video.
- 56:43Speaker 1: But I remember thinking back about my you know, I
- 56:45Speaker 1: almost didn't get my high school diploma same because of
- 56:48Speaker 1: what I did. I don't know if your schools did this,
- 56:51Speaker 1: but my school told us, whatever you do, do not
- 56:56Speaker 1: throw your hat. You're graduating cap, you know your up
- 57:00Speaker 1: and got do not throw your cap in the air.
- 57:03Speaker 1: And my whole life, all I ever wanted to do
- 57:06Speaker 1: was throw my cap in the air like the movies. Yeah,
- 57:09Speaker 1: why would I not? Right, I threw my cap in
- 57:12Speaker 1: the air and I had to go ask my principal
- 57:15Speaker 1: for my real diploma. You know, they hand you a
- 57:17Speaker 1: fake one and the real one. He kept mine because
- 57:21Speaker 1: I threw it in the air. Oh capped mine. It
- 57:24Speaker 1: wouldn't give it back, would not give it back because
- 57:27Speaker 1: I mean, you want to talk about lame because we
- 57:30Speaker 1: had to rent the cap and gown.
- 57:33Speaker 2: You're returning it while you let us have fun. If
- 57:35Speaker 2: I don't get my security posts back. Whatever, didn't we
- 57:38Speaker 2: rent them? I think that's why we did.
- 57:39Speaker 3: I know I did. Why did you get yours?
- 57:41Speaker 2: Poo? I almost didn't get mine because I did a
- 57:45Speaker 2: school prank that God ended up with an investigation. Yeah,
- 57:51Speaker 2: Duncanville had a brand new stadium and I went out
- 57:54Speaker 2: with the FFA Boys, the Future Farm of America Boys,
- 57:58Speaker 2: and uh you what, we stole the the Soto Eagle
- 58:03Speaker 2: and put it on in that new stadium. But I
- 58:05Speaker 2: also spray painted on the track and they were like
- 58:08Speaker 2: trying to figure out who did it?
- 58:09Speaker 3: You spray painted the football field?
- 58:11Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 58:11Speaker 2: I said, we're on the track on the track of
- 58:13Speaker 2: the new stadium. Sorry, the new stadium that they built
- 58:16Speaker 2: in Dunkeyville.
- 58:17Speaker 3: What did you spray paint?
- 58:18Speaker 1: We're out of here on your own school.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we just stole the the Sodo Eagle and
- 58:26Speaker 2: and just just stole it to be stealing it, and
- 58:28Speaker 2: then we got in a lot of trouble. They were
- 58:30Speaker 2: there was a big investigation of the whole thing. God yeah,
- 58:34Speaker 2: and I drew a picture and they were trying to
- 58:36Speaker 2: figure out because at the time it was me and
- 58:38Speaker 2: another guy who had won awards for you know, for
- 58:41Speaker 2: our pictures, and they were trying to figure out was
- 58:43Speaker 2: it me or Bobby? And uh, yeah, they never found out.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Well they know now, but I got my diploma. Yeah,
- 58:52Speaker 2: I'm just surprised. They actually had like football fields when
- 58:55Speaker 2: you went.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Yeah, they did.
- 58:56Speaker 2: It was a brand new stadium. Mis judge shot out.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Miss Judd was she was leading up the investigations.
- 59:01Speaker 3: She was trying to find out who she listens. Oh,
- 59:05Speaker 3: so you should tell me.
- 59:06Speaker 1: She's gonna find out now after all these years. She
- 59:08Speaker 1: found out years later Spring Painted. I thought you let
- 59:12Speaker 1: hamsters loose. Oh yeah, they did that. The Farmer, Yeah
- 59:15Speaker 1: they did do that. I didn't even know there was
- 59:17Speaker 1: a future Farmers of America.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Yeah, they do that.
- 59:20Speaker 1: That's big in ten. You used to hang out with them, Yeah.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Jason Sifford and Shane Shane arnold you staying out with
- 59:26Speaker 2: a couple of them.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, who told me you grew up in Ocliff
- 59:30Speaker 3: with gangsters?
- 59:31Speaker 2: I did grow up in oak Cliff, but then I
- 59:33Speaker 2: moved to Duncleville, and the Duncleville at the time I
- 59:36Speaker 2: was going there was predominantly white. So yeah, there's probably
- 59:40Speaker 2: a handful, probably like ten black people all on the
- 59:44Speaker 2: football team. So what did they do with the hamsters? Oh,
- 59:48Speaker 2: they let them lose. When we were sitting up there
- 59:50Speaker 2: doing the performance, you know, doing the announcements, valedictorian was
- 59:54Speaker 2: giving her speech, and then all of a sudden, you
- 59:56Speaker 2: see all these hamsters all on the field, and oh
- 59:59Speaker 2: they Oh, Leroy Fisher was the principal.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Was absolutely his.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Story's made up.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: No, I swear Leroy Fisher was not the principal, Leroy.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: It was Leroy Fisher.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Miss Judd Flow Jubb, who is still alive, she's assist principal.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: There's no way a teacher from back in your day
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: is still alive. Yes she is.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: She just got a library dedicated to it.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Well, she deserves a deal with me, that's for sure.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: To comments, you'll feel better. Welcome to the dirty Little Secret.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Got a chance to go to Disney World coming up
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: next our summer send off with mixed one or two
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: point nine on the forties pretty much every hour, all day.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: If you want to win, make that happen. Dirty little
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: secret right now, it's bailing the kid can a Slopez.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: She's out today, she'll be back tomorrow.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Who's here? All right, let's do it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: If you have a secret eight three three seven eight
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: seven one o two nine, doesn't matter what it is. Okay,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: it's a non judgment.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: Zone, and you do.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: So the guilt has been Honestly, it's been eating me alive.
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: I don't even I had to tell someone. I don't
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: even know how to say this, but I basically accidentally
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: got my almost entire office sick O.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Your entire office.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we do these pollucks once a quarter. We
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: celebrated hitting like a sales goal. So everybody brought something
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: in and I had to go with my classic famous
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: buffalo chicken dip. Everyone asked me to make it all
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: the time.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Potlucks are just weird to me, poo and I feel
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a special way about potlucks, and I'm sure your dip
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: is great, but anyway.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: Well, yeah, no, it's it's typically it's the best. So
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: the morning of the potluck, it was an absolute disaster.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: My son woke up saying he didn't feel good. I'm
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: running late. I'm trying to get him dressed and out
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: the door. So I got all the way to his
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: school and I realized that I forgot the dip sitting.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: On my counter.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah, So I raced all the way back home.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: I grab it. I head toward work, which is like
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: forty five minutes away. Yeah, I'm all over the place.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: So halfway, I'm halfway there to work, and then my
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: friend quote calls me. They're like, you need to come
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: pick up your son. He's throwing up.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Oh no, then you had to go get him.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: Yep. I had to go get him. So I turn
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: around again. I take him to my mom's. So I
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: finally make it to work, super late, stressed out. I
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: throw my dip in the in the conference room, and
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: I feel like I didn't think anything about it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I'm trying to do the Matthew. That's a lot of
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: traveling with it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: It has been out this whole time, unrefrigerating. Okay, well
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: we don't know what happened, so all right, so you
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: put you put in the conference room.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: He did.
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was getting good feedback, like this is amazing.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: Everyone was loving it as usual. But by the end
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: of the day, some people at work started getting sick.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: It wasn't just like one or two people, it was
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: multiple people. So I'm like, you know, that's weird.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: So I left.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: I check my email on my on my phone pretty
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: much through the night every day, and I'm seeing emails
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: coming through asking if anyone else is sick. Yeah, And like,
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: at first, honestly, I didn't think it was it was
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: from me, right, I figured maybe some like stomach bug
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: was going around because my son was growing up.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: I just think it.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: But I started to.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Replay the moment, like I'm cleaning my kitchen thinking about
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: what was going on. So I check in the trash
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: and I pull out the pack that the chicken was
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: in from the grocery store. It was legitimately expired like
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: two weeks six five.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I know, I know, and I did.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: I never noticed. I didn't even smell, which is so weird, right,
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: and you think it would smell.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Oh, so that's why your son was was did your
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: son have.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Any or no?
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: Exactly? Yeah, yeah, so he had been grabbing pieces while
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: I was making the dip, which is why he got sick.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: No, I know it was terrible.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: I pretty much poisoned my office. I'm like half of
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: the office called in sick the next guy. The other
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: half were running to the bathroom pale like it was
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: so bad and like the worst part. I didn't even
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: feel sick, but I had to play along like I did.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Oh, so you didn't get sick, so you didn't get
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to go all No, okay, oh I didn't.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: Get sick at all. It's like my I don't know,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: maybe my body's the music fire chicken. It was shot.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: I was shocked that I didn't.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Get sick, But then you're playing along that you are
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: sick because you don't. Did you ever tell them that
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: it was your chicken or no? No, absolutely not.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: To this day, nobody knows that it was me.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Oh who's weird about pot looks? He just doesn't like
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: First of all, if you have cats, he doesn't trust
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: your cooking.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Especially if you have cats, because cats walk all over
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: the countertops.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Some people just too friendly with their cats while they're cooking.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Countercats are weird.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Well, I'm so sorry you had to go through that
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: hopefully your son was okay, and I mean it happened.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: I just need to pay attention more, you know.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well, hey, good luck, thank you for

- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Oh, they said, Zayan, Yeah exactly.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: It's one or two point nine and peel at a kid.
