Transcript
- 0:21Speaker 1: It is to goatsa company presented by FanDuel and the
- 0:23Speaker 1: FanDuel Sportsbook.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Sarah Spain going to join.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Us in just a little bit to talk about the
- 0:27Speaker 1: WNBA All Star Game that's in Chicago. She's hosting it
- 0:31Speaker 1: this weekend. We will talk to her about that in
- 0:34Speaker 1: a few minutes. Here our thanks to Christopher mad Dog Russo,
- 0:37Speaker 1: who we add on before the breaking news. But now
- 0:40Speaker 1: we have breaking news and that breaking news is centered
- 0:43Speaker 1: around Lebron James Taylor.
- 0:45Speaker 2: What do we have? What do we know now? On
- 0:46Speaker 2: Lebron James.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Hump shar on you with the breaking news. Lebron James
- 0:51Speaker 3: is signing with the Philadelphia seventy six ers on a
- 0:54Speaker 3: two year, eight million dollars deal with the player option.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yeah wow, with a player option for third season. I'm
- 1:01Speaker 3: assuming the player options for the second year. I guess
- 1:04Speaker 3: there's so many details still coming out right now. Nobody
- 1:07Speaker 3: knows where the player option is second year? Is it
- 1:09Speaker 3: a following third year? But what we do know, Lebron
- 1:13Speaker 3: is going to seventy six ers and it's exactly what
- 1:16Speaker 3: I said Stu and Shaums's tweet. His tweet has Lebron
- 1:19Speaker 3: in that black throwback Allen Iverson era jersey.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeap, and it looks unbelievable.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Really. He looks good in it, right, good in any jersey.
- 1:29Speaker 2: He looks good in anything. And when you're built like that,
- 1:32Speaker 2: I mean.
- 1:32Speaker 3: That is going to be the number one selling jersey
- 1:35Speaker 3: this season in the NBA, that black throwback sixer jersey.
- 1:38Speaker 1: We will discuss more of this on the radio show
- 1:41Speaker 1: today and later on with Israel Goody Eras. But he
- 1:44Speaker 1: is busy right now because it's a leg deay, so
- 1:48Speaker 1: he can't be here. Mikey let out a wow after
- 1:51Speaker 1: Taylor read that report. That was one of the teams,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and it's the team I told him to go to
- 1:56Speaker 1: because that team gives him the best chance of winning
- 1:59Speaker 1: an nbah ambiaghit.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, But it just felt like that was
- 2:03Speaker 5: always the third team. It always felt like that was
- 2:06Speaker 5: the team that was there to drive up the price
- 2:09Speaker 5: a little bit, like, hey, you can always.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Go to Philadelphia.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, And it just feels like he was.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Gonna go to a place that had something to do
- 2:16Speaker 5: with his heart, whether it be back to Miami, whether
- 2:19Speaker 5: it be back to Cleveland, or whether it even be.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Go play in Golden State.
- 2:24Speaker 5: With his buddy Steph Curry, and in the end he
- 2:26Speaker 5: kind of just chose the mercenary route almost where I'm
- 2:30Speaker 5: just going to chase a rim.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 1: No, I love that because he has a couple of
- 2:35Speaker 1: years remaining, two years and perhaps an option for a third.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He's still trying to catch Jordan. Guys, that means something
- 2:42Speaker 1: to him. The amount of titles that he wins means
- 2:45Speaker 1: something to him.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And at the age of.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Forty one, to still put himself in the position to
- 2:50Speaker 1: be good enough where all these teams wanted him and
- 2:53Speaker 1: for him to have the opportunity to choose a team
- 2:56Speaker 1: that will help him try to get a fifth and
- 2:58Speaker 1: sixth NBA. He looked at Phillies, He looked at Golden State.
- 3:02Speaker 1: He likes Steph, he loves Steph. They're great friends.
- 3:05Speaker 2: They're not good enough to get to the NBA finals.
- 3:08Speaker 1: He looked at all the other options that he had,
- 3:10Speaker 1: and the team that he thought gives him the best
- 3:12Speaker 1: chance to get not only a fifth but a sixth
- 3:14Speaker 1: ring is the Philadelphia seventy six ers. There's a lot
- 3:17Speaker 1: of ifs, but Philadelphia did a great job by putting
- 3:21Speaker 1: themselves in position by acquiring Jalen Brown to make that
- 3:25Speaker 1: team attractive enough for Lebron James to want to go there.
- 3:28Speaker 5: I mean absolutely zero disrespect to Lebron because he is
- 3:32Speaker 5: still a top twenty five guy to do it. But
- 3:35Speaker 5: this feels a little bit like Randy Moss with the Titans.
- 3:38Speaker 5: This feels a little bit like Jerry Rice with the
- 3:41Speaker 5: Denver Broncos. It just feels like it's like this doesn't fit,
- 3:45Speaker 5: this doesn't work for me.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's more like, well, I don't want to say, because
- 3:49Speaker 1: Moss was in his prime when he went to the Patriots.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But but Lebron's coming off a year in which he
- 3:53Speaker 1: averaged twenty two to six at five. His game is
- 3:56Speaker 1: still he's still playing at a very high level.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So Lebron posted on Twitter about his decision and his
- 4:03Speaker 3: thought process going through this free agency process. But at
- 4:06Speaker 3: the end of it, he says, I believe I can
- 4:08Speaker 3: help make the Philadelphia seventy six ers a championship team,
- 4:12Speaker 3: and I'm so excited to energize a new fan base
- 4:14Speaker 3: and start this incredible journey one last time. Thank you,
- 4:18Speaker 3: La Miami. I'll forever love in Northeast Ohio, will always
- 4:22Speaker 3: be home.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yep, Cleveland had him. They had him twice. Miami had him.
- 4:27Speaker 2: They thought they were going to get him for six
- 4:28Speaker 2: or seven years. They got him for four. It was
- 4:30Speaker 2: still two NBA titles and four straight appearances in the
- 4:33Speaker 2: NBA Finals.
- 4:34Speaker 1: The Lakers had him, they won an NBA championship. And
- 4:39Speaker 1: now this is what Lebron likes consistently. He likes to
- 4:42Speaker 1: go to a place, put himself in a position where
- 4:44Speaker 1: he could be the reason that a team won an
- 4:48Speaker 1: NBA championship. And I think if Philadelphia wins, even with
- 4:51Speaker 1: Jaylen Brown there and embiid him, Maxi and Edgecomb and
- 4:53Speaker 1: all those guys, the perception still will be that Lebron
- 4:57Speaker 1: James was the kind of kg vet blue guy that
- 5:00Speaker 1: taught those guys how to win big time in the NBA.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I'm just telling you from an ego standpoint, he loves
- 5:06Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 5:07Speaker 3: We're also going to get the sad Miami media experience.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Right now, where Simmons is right.
- 5:14Speaker 3: They were expecting Lebron to come. They were getting ready
- 5:18Speaker 3: to talk that Lebron was going to make them a
- 5:20Speaker 3: title contending team, and now Stu, I think the spin zone,
- 5:24Speaker 3: I think the pivot from Miami media is going to be.
- 5:26Speaker 3: He's forty one years old.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Of course, yes, yes, yep, yeah, no, they're gonna hate him, right.
- 5:33Speaker 4: All we need is Bradley be on Russell Westbrook.
- 5:37Speaker 2: They're going to Philly now on minimum deals coming off
- 5:41Speaker 2: the bench for Lebron.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Oh my god, you think the key's still under the mat,
- 5:46Speaker 1: the one that Riley left for Lebron James?
- 5:48Speaker 2: What do you think now?
- 5:50Speaker 4: In Lebron's post, he says, this is my last decision.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Really? Wow?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Okay, so Philly's gonna be the last up for Lebron James, Like,
- 6:00Speaker 1: Philly went out and got a guy that made it
- 6:02Speaker 1: attractive for Lebron to get there. I'd be concerned if
- 6:05Speaker 1: I were a Heat fan that Jannis was not attractive
- 6:07Speaker 1: enough for Lebron to say, Hey, I'm gonna go back
- 6:10Speaker 1: to Miami, that would concern me a little bit. I'm
- 6:12Speaker 1: just he chose him beat over Yannis, And.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I feel like one of the talking points from the
- 6:17Speaker 3: Lebron not though Lebron can't per se, but just from
- 6:20Speaker 3: everybody in it was like, oh, what's he gonna do
- 6:23Speaker 3: golfing in winter Philadelphia? I don't think he's really golfing
- 6:26Speaker 3: during home stands during the winter in Philadelphia. So it's
- 6:30Speaker 3: something that Lebron's gonna have to figure out once he
- 6:32Speaker 3: gets up to the Northeast and in the January December months.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Lebron is amazed that at the age
- 6:37Speaker 1: of forty, we don't worry about golf right now. He's like, man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: I can still catch this guy. I was done chasing
- 6:45Speaker 1: and I was playing. Hey, I played longer longevity all that. No,
- 6:49Speaker 1: he's got a real chance to win a fifth ring
- 6:51Speaker 1: and maybe a sixth ring. I mean, I can't believe
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm saying that, but that seem is talented enough. Think
- 6:56Speaker 1: about that starting five. I want you guys to really
- 6:59Speaker 1: think about who they're starting five is going to be.
- 7:02Speaker 1: When you talk about Embiid, Jalen Brown, Edgecombe, Maxi, and
- 7:08Speaker 1: Lebron James. I mean that's eam is good enough to
- 7:11Speaker 1: win back to back NBA titles. In fact, I'm going
- 7:14Speaker 1: to say it right now, Lebron's getting the six how
- 7:16Speaker 1: about that?
- 7:19Speaker 4: The six ears.
- 7:22Speaker 2: That's why Joseph.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Sarah Spain next the commission. Sarah Spain is with us.
- 7:39Speaker 1: She is the host of Good Game with Sarah Spain on.
- 7:42Speaker 2: iHeart Women's Sports.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Good Game is your one stop shot for the biggest
- 7:46Speaker 1: stories in women's sports. Every Day host Sarah Spain gives
- 7:50Speaker 1: you the stories, the steaks, the stars, and the stats.
- 7:53Speaker 2: To keep up with your favorite women's team, leagues, and athletes.
- 7:57Speaker 1: She'll be covering the WNBA All Star Game this weekend
- 7:59Speaker 1: in her hometown of Chicago.
- 8:00Speaker 2: She's already exhausted the weekend? Has it started? Hello, Sarah?
- 8:04Speaker 6: Seems like a good sign, right, I already have party
- 8:06Speaker 6: voice and I haven't yet been to a party.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Because you came from a Flavor Flavor party in Las Vegas?
- 8:14Speaker 2: Is that correct? Yes?
- 8:15Speaker 6: I did, Yes, I did Flavor Flave She Weakened, which
- 8:19Speaker 6: was basically four straight days of there were actually panels
- 8:23Speaker 6: and discussions and education and opportunities for all these Olympic
- 8:26Speaker 6: athletes to learn, you know, what they do after they
- 8:28Speaker 6: retire and how to manage finances. But in between that,
- 8:31Speaker 6: we were partying with the backstreet boys and Ed Sheer
- 8:35Speaker 6: and you know, on top of a double decker bus
- 8:39Speaker 6: going down the strip, which was by far the most
- 8:42Speaker 6: wholesome thing I've ever done in Vegas was to be
- 8:46Speaker 6: down the strip with like little girls holding signs that
- 8:48Speaker 6: said girl power, and I was like, gosh, I'm usually
- 8:51Speaker 6: like barefoot at three am, getting every kind of tetanus
- 8:54Speaker 6: trying to like drag my ass off for something.
- 8:56Speaker 7: So this feels very wholesome.
- 8:59Speaker 1: If I had told you, like two decades ago that
- 9:01Speaker 1: at one point in time Flavor Flav was going to
- 9:04Speaker 1: be some sort of ambassador for the US Big Team,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you would have told me.
- 9:08Speaker 6: What the number of people that have asked me that
- 9:11Speaker 6: in the last couple I mean, first I had him
- 9:13Speaker 6: on my show to talk about sponsoring like women's water
- 9:15Speaker 6: polo and ahead of the Winter Olympics getting involved with
- 9:18Speaker 6: the Bops sled skeleton team. Then we hung out at
- 9:21Speaker 6: the Olympics, then we hung out in France, then in Vegas.
- 9:23Speaker 6: So now people are like, Okay, what's going on with
- 9:25Speaker 6: you in Flavor Flav first of all, And secondly, is
- 9:27Speaker 6: he like is this real? Like is he like a
- 9:29Speaker 6: legit good dude? Because he's got a lot in his
- 9:33Speaker 6: past flavor Flavor and it seems exceedingly genuine. He does
- 9:38Speaker 6: a lot of stuff that doesn't even show up, so
- 9:39Speaker 6: it's not even just to benefit his you know, public
- 9:42Speaker 6: brand or anything. He genuinely like had a kind of
- 9:45Speaker 6: wake up call is sober now and is like I
- 9:47Speaker 6: want to spend the rest of my life.
- 9:49Speaker 7: Doing good things and using my influence to help people
- 9:51Speaker 7: that need it.
- 9:52Speaker 6: And once he got on board with women's sports, he
- 9:54Speaker 6: was like, man, these people are awesome and they don't
- 9:56Speaker 6: get recognized and they don't get supported.
- 9:59Speaker 7: And now he's like everyone's favorite uncle.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Basically, like these Olympians would like die for him now
- 10:04Speaker 6: because he's so awesome to them.
- 10:06Speaker 2: He's been great.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I will say this, since you're hosting all the WNBA
- 10:10Speaker 1: All Star festivities this weekend, it's an odd choice to
- 10:12Speaker 1: make to go out to Vegas with Flavor Flame in
- 10:15Speaker 1: the days leading up to one of your busiest weekends
- 10:17Speaker 1: of the year.
- 10:18Speaker 7: I mean, well, I didn't plan it. My life feels
- 10:21Speaker 7: like I can't.
- 10:22Speaker 6: I want to be able to hit a pause button
- 10:24Speaker 6: and sleep for four days and then pick back up
- 10:26Speaker 6: because I don't want to miss anything.
- 10:27Speaker 7: But I also am so tired. It's I mean, Stu,
- 10:30Speaker 7: you get this.
- 10:31Speaker 6: I've been talking about women's sports stuff for so long
- 10:34Speaker 6: and I'm like, hey, everyone, look over here, women's sports,
- 10:37Speaker 6: look over here. And now I'm like not all at once, Yes,
- 10:40Speaker 6: so tired, so it's a good problem to have, but like, yeah,
- 10:42Speaker 6: it's it's a because right before Flavor Flame, not long before,
- 10:46Speaker 6: I was in can France for Sport Beach and that
- 10:49Speaker 6: was up every single night night today, you know, and
- 10:53Speaker 6: it was also the hottest days in the history of
- 10:56Speaker 6: the country of France. Yes, so you've got all these
- 10:59Speaker 6: people trying to like look really chic and like talk
- 11:02Speaker 6: on panels outside and it's one hundred and ten and
- 11:05Speaker 6: people just have like five fans in their face, like
- 11:07Speaker 6: trying not to die. Yeah, I've been on a Stu
- 11:11Speaker 6: Gott's ask heeter in terms of treating my body like
- 11:14Speaker 6: absolute shit.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Well, congratulations to you, proud of it.
- 11:20Speaker 7: For the best.
- 11:21Speaker 1: By the way, Israel is not here today because he
- 11:24Speaker 1: claims that you would give him such a hard time.
- 11:26Speaker 1: It's leg day at the gym, and he claims that
- 11:28Speaker 1: you would give him such a hard time about not
- 11:31Speaker 1: working on his legs that he felt guilty and therefore
- 11:33Speaker 1: he blew you off to go to the gym there.
- 11:36Speaker 7: That's fair and it's good that he's doing that.
- 11:39Speaker 6: I think we could all suggest that as he should
- 11:41Speaker 6: spend a little more time in the gym. I mean,
- 11:44Speaker 6: why nice that he's working so hard, but someday the
- 11:46Speaker 6: results will show up for him, and we're all looking
- 11:48Speaker 6: forward to that.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yes, but why were you breaking his shops about his legs?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Like is he disproportioned it? Like the upper body looks
- 11:53Speaker 2: better than the bottom half. What's going on there?
- 11:56Speaker 7: Listen, Sue, I talk so much shit. I don't remember
- 11:59Speaker 7: what I see.
- 12:00Speaker 6: I basically said about his legs, but that checks out.
- 12:03Speaker 6: I remember making fun of him for not going to
- 12:05Speaker 6: enough concerts. I don't remember the legs, but I will
- 12:08Speaker 6: say I am a leg connoisseur. My husband and I
- 12:11Speaker 6: are married ninety percent because of his legs. So it's
- 12:14Speaker 6: possible that is just isn't bringing it in the leg department,
- 12:17Speaker 6: and just commented on that.
- 12:19Speaker 1: We'll get to the All Star Game weekend at a
- 12:21Speaker 1: second here. But when you're looking at legs, what are
- 12:23Speaker 1: you looking for? What are the keys to good legs?
- 12:25Speaker 7: Primarily length?
- 12:26Speaker 6: Yes, I like a good long set of gams, and
- 12:30Speaker 6: I like chicken legs, but with some sturdiness, so very lanky,
- 12:35Speaker 6: exceedingly lanky, but still like there's enough hef to them
- 12:38Speaker 6: that they don't look spindly. A big difference between chicken
- 12:41Speaker 6: legs and spindly legs. So I guess my idea would
- 12:44Speaker 6: be Michael Jordan in baseball pants when he played briefly
- 12:47Speaker 6: for the White Sox.
- 12:48Speaker 7: And if you have.
- 12:50Speaker 6: A body type remotely similar to I don't know, the
- 12:53Speaker 6: greatest athlete of all time, but you know, it doesn't
- 12:56Speaker 6: have to be that extreme.
- 12:57Speaker 7: But my husband is six or five. He's mostly legs.
- 13:00Speaker 7: And when I spotted them across the room, I was like,
- 13:03Speaker 7: oh hello.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And that was that baby. You ever see good ankles?
- 13:09Speaker 5: You ever look at somebody like man, look at those anles?
- 13:12Speaker 6: No? I mostly see bad ankles, right, bad ankles and
- 13:15Speaker 6: bitch hips.
- 13:16Speaker 2: There is just this.
- 13:19Speaker 6: There's just something about a man with wide hips that
- 13:21Speaker 6: I can't get behind or in front of him, now.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That I'm thinking about it. So she must have looked
- 13:26Speaker 2: at me and levantor Andy been like, what he's got
- 13:30Speaker 2: the hips? I got short legs.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Everyone's got their thing.
- 13:33Speaker 3: There are so many times where I think about like,
- 13:35Speaker 3: this is probably the first time this has ever happened
- 13:38Speaker 3: in the world, or this first time somebody's ever uttered
- 13:42Speaker 3: this sentence or googled this. I think I'm the first
- 13:45Speaker 3: person to ever google Sarah Spain's husband's legs.
- 13:49Speaker 7: Oh, I doubt that. I talk about them a lot.
- 13:52Speaker 6: Also, people think he's a bit of a second on
- 13:54Speaker 6: the internet, so they probably googled every part of him
- 13:57Speaker 6: to figure out how he made his billions.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Which, wait, so what came back when you did that search? Taylor?
- 14:04Speaker 3: It's just a lot of couple photos and trying to
- 14:07Speaker 3: figure out nobody has any information on the legs yet.
- 14:11Speaker 4: It's just pictures that Sarah has posted.
- 14:13Speaker 7: Basically, well, Taylor, now you have information. What are your
- 14:16Speaker 7: eyes telling you about that great set of legs?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Good legs? Great, it's what they take couples photos. It's
- 14:21Speaker 2: Sarah and just his legs.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 2: So what are you excited about this weekend?
- 14:28Speaker 1: The WNBA All Star You're hosting it, the All Star Game,
- 14:31Speaker 1: the festivities are all in Chicago, your hometown.
- 14:34Speaker 2: What are you excited about this weekend?
- 14:36Speaker 6: Well, obviously the three point in skills competition actually seeing
- 14:39Speaker 6: like the athletes get after it, and the All Star Game.
- 14:41Speaker 7: For sure.
- 14:42Speaker 6: It's Team Coop versus Team Spoon. So Teres Weatherspoon and
- 14:47Speaker 6: Cynthia Cooper are like the legendary gms. This is the
- 14:49Speaker 6: thirtieth anniversary of the WNBA. So it's actually been really
- 14:52Speaker 6: cool already in the first couple of days of this
- 14:54Speaker 6: week to have all these legends come in town and
- 14:57Speaker 6: talk about helping set the foundation for the league and
- 15:00Speaker 6: tell stories of all the crazy stuff that was going
- 15:02Speaker 6: on thirty years ago when they first launched it. Yesterday
- 15:04Speaker 6: I got to sit down with Cheryl Swoops and Ta
- 15:06Speaker 6: Panicero and Canvas Parker. Today I've got a live show
- 15:10Speaker 6: for a good game of Sarah Spain with Muffett McGraw
- 15:12Speaker 6: and Carrie and Jamal Carey. Champion and Jamal Hill are
- 15:15Speaker 6: gonna be doing their show right beforehand, so that'll be
- 15:17Speaker 6: a fun hang. And on Saturday, I'm interviewing Malala Yusufsai,
- 15:22Speaker 6: who you may know. I don't know, Stu, you're a
- 15:24Speaker 6: very sports heavy person. But she's the one who was
- 15:28Speaker 6: attacked by the Taliban, shot in the head and they
- 15:31Speaker 6: attempted to assassinate her for just wanting to get an education.
- 15:34Speaker 6: So she's recently started a fund for women's sports, so
- 15:37Speaker 6: she's getting into the women's sports game with capital. So
- 15:40Speaker 6: I get to interview her at the WNBA conference. So
- 15:42Speaker 6: between all the parties and the fun stuff with all
- 15:45Speaker 6: the athletes. I'm also gonna like put on my smart
- 15:48Speaker 6: person hat and talk to like one of the most
- 15:50Speaker 6: influential people of the last decade when it comes to
- 15:53Speaker 6: things like gender apartheid and equal opportunities for girls in
- 15:56Speaker 6: sports and education and stuff.
- 15:57Speaker 7: So I'm pretty pumped for that.
- 15:59Speaker 6: And then yeah, there's Sue Bird's got a party, kid,
- 16:01Speaker 6: This Parker's got a party. It's just really fun to
- 16:04Speaker 6: have everyone in my city and you know, be able
- 16:08Speaker 6: to show them around and pop.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Off a little.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I know you're tired and you need sleep, but how
- 16:12Speaker 1: many hours of sleep do you imagine you're going to
- 16:14Speaker 1: log this weekend?
- 16:15Speaker 2: I mean with all that going on, because that sounds
- 16:17Speaker 2: like a weekend, Sarah.
- 16:18Speaker 6: I want you to know I woke up twenty minutes
- 16:20Speaker 6: ago because today was the only day that I was like,
- 16:24Speaker 6: just keep sleeping until.
- 16:25Speaker 7: You can't sleep anymore, because you're not going to be
- 16:27Speaker 7: able to again. This was my one night.
- 16:29Speaker 6: I actually skipped the party last night to go to
- 16:31Speaker 6: sleep because I literally felt like I was going to
- 16:34Speaker 6: perish none. I'm going to get very little and then
- 16:37Speaker 6: I'm going to Savannah Bananas on Sunday at Wrigley, which
- 16:40Speaker 6: is going to be a blast. And then on Saturday
- 16:42Speaker 6: of next week, it's the first opening day for Women's
- 16:45Speaker 6: Professional Baseball League, the first professional baseball league for women
- 16:47Speaker 6: since the you know days of a league of their own,
- 16:50Speaker 6: since that All American Girls League. So I'm going down
- 16:53Speaker 6: there to help launch opening day for that. So asleep
- 16:56Speaker 6: when I'm dead Stu, which is going to happen sooner
- 16:58Speaker 6: than I had hoped, I think, based on again how I'm.
- 17:01Speaker 7: Treating my body.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Mike, Yeah, you want to talk about your Savannah Banana
- 17:05Speaker 1: experience with Sarah's.
- 17:06Speaker 2: But have you been to Savannah Bananas yet? Sarah? No,
- 17:08Speaker 2: Miikey go ahead.
- 17:09Speaker 5: I get so much flacked from these guys because I
- 17:12Speaker 5: went to Savannah Bananas. I took my kids and I
- 17:14Speaker 5: had a great time fun, and they were they were like, Oh,
- 17:18Speaker 5: if you could have asked me to do anything and
- 17:20Speaker 5: paid for my ticket and given me money, I wouldn't
- 17:23Speaker 5: have gone with you to see Savannah Bananas.
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'm like, you guys are just missing out. You just
- 17:27Speaker 4: enemies of fun.
- 17:28Speaker 5: You're gonna have so much fun, Sarah, especially Sarah.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Let me say this.
- 17:31Speaker 1: You know who was complaining fifteen minutes into a Savannah
- 17:33Speaker 1: Banana experience Mikey Ya, Okay.
- 17:35Speaker 7: What was he complaining about?
- 17:37Speaker 4: What was I complaining about?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Too much? I mean crowd thank you too much?
- 17:42Speaker 5: Well, listen, I hate crowds.
- 17:43Speaker 2: But I'll tell you that.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Hope you get extrainings because it's the best X trainings
- 17:48Speaker 5: in baseball.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Okay, Spanna Bananas should be up your alleys. Do you've
- 17:52Speaker 6: been trying to invent dumb shit rules and put them
- 17:54Speaker 6: into baseball, like.
- 17:56Speaker 7: Jumping into it?
- 17:57Speaker 2: They're doing it, yeah, and they're doing it.
- 17:58Speaker 7: Are you just jealous? Didn't monetize your ideas? I haven't
- 18:01Speaker 7: been yet.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I'm not judging. I'm just saying, Mikey, he's a phony.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Say he's promoting it like he had the greatest time
- 18:07Speaker 1: in the world and he was tired of him.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Twenty minutes in, Sarah Stugatts doesn't know what he wants
- 18:12Speaker 3: because for decades he was the one saying that baseball
- 18:16Speaker 3: has to be faster, and then the second baseball got faster,
- 18:18Speaker 3: he goes, hold on, it's getting a little too fast now,
- 18:21Speaker 3: Yeah that checks out.
- 18:22Speaker 7: Checks out?
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 6: No, Savannah Bananas is going to be a blast, And
- 18:25Speaker 6: I feel like any man who doesn't appreciate a baseball
- 18:28Speaker 6: game interrupted for musical theater pieces is simply not healed enough.
- 18:32Speaker 6: You know, you just have to be willing to have
- 18:34Speaker 6: somebody on third base and have an actual Broadway singer
- 18:38Speaker 6: singing bring Him Home from Le Miz.
- 18:40Speaker 7: Like, if you don't think that that's what real sports is,
- 18:42Speaker 7: I don't know what to tell you.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I feel obliged here with the WNBA All Star Game
- 18:48Speaker 1: and you hosting it, and you being such a big
- 18:50Speaker 1: voice and presence in everything that is women's sports, to ask.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You what the hell is going on with Caitlyn Clark.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Yeah, First of all, I've missed you saying woman sports
- 19:00Speaker 6: to day, you will learn how.
- 19:01Speaker 2: To say the word women. Wait, so woman is plural women? No,
- 19:06Speaker 2: women is plural. Yeah, women is singular.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Yes, we'll keep working on it. Yeah. I man, this
- 19:16Speaker 7: is wild and we don't have time for all of
- 19:18Speaker 7: the nuance.
- 19:19Speaker 6: I will give you the cliffs notes, which is basically
- 19:22Speaker 6: Kaitlin Clark acquired this incredible popularity and was both beloved
- 19:27Speaker 6: for being an exciting and fun player to watch and
- 19:29Speaker 6: became an avatar for certain people to use for political, racial,
- 19:33Speaker 6: homophobic agendas, and it kept snowballing, and a lot of
- 19:38Speaker 6: the national media who have not really been interested in
- 19:40Speaker 6: women's sports before, realized that there was a lot of
- 19:42Speaker 6: ways to get people engaged and enraged around Kaitlin Clark,
- 19:45Speaker 6: which meant clicks and comments and all the things that
- 19:47Speaker 6: people are looking for these days on the Internet. So
- 19:49Speaker 6: a lot of people started to look for opportunities to
- 19:52Speaker 6: monetize the rivalry with Angel Reese and other people. And
- 19:57Speaker 6: for a long time I thought Caitlin was being used
- 20:00Speaker 6: in service of others in that way. I thought she
- 20:02Speaker 6: could have spoken out more, But I also thought she's
- 20:04Speaker 6: young from Iowa. She doesn't necessarily need to be able
- 20:08Speaker 6: to speak on all of the different elements that are
- 20:09Speaker 6: kind of meeting at the middle around her. At this point,
- 20:14Speaker 6: I think she's doing herself a disservice in the way
- 20:17Speaker 6: she's behaving in games. At times, everyone's getting hit hard.
- 20:21Speaker 6: It's a really physical league. I used to be a
- 20:23Speaker 6: total red ass when I got fouled. I complained to
- 20:25Speaker 6: the refs all the time.
- 20:26Speaker 7: I know that it'll be shocking to you, right, so shocked, yeah, yes, But.
- 20:31Speaker 6: You have to figure out how to pick your battles.
- 20:34Speaker 6: And there are times of late where she has berated
- 20:37Speaker 6: the reps for calls that I've watched ten fifteen times
- 20:41Speaker 6: in slow mo and I don't see the contact. One
- 20:43Speaker 6: of them actually look like an offensive foul on her
- 20:44Speaker 6: when she like heismanned the girl away. Then to talk
- 20:47Speaker 6: about it again in the press or after, and to
- 20:49Speaker 6: know that when you do that, those athletes that were
- 20:51Speaker 6: involved in that play are getting death threats and harassment
- 20:55Speaker 6: and racism. And that's not her fault, but it is
- 20:58Speaker 6: the outcome of her actions. And so there is a
- 21:01Speaker 6: part where you say, you could stop this if you
- 21:03Speaker 6: wanted to, by speaking out more vociferously about how you
- 21:06Speaker 6: don't want your fans to do that and how that
- 21:07Speaker 6: doesn't stand for you, and how the plays are still basketball.
- 21:10Speaker 7: You just wish it got called differently, And instead she
- 21:13Speaker 7: seems to be leaning in.
- 21:15Speaker 6: And I don't think it's before I used to just
- 21:17Speaker 6: think it was bad for other players in the league.
- 21:19Speaker 6: I think she's doing harm to her long term brand
- 21:22Speaker 6: because the joy is gone. It used to be so
- 21:24Speaker 6: fun to watch her hit logo threes and throw crazy
- 21:27Speaker 6: passes and like the assists were insane, and now you're
- 21:30Speaker 6: mostly just focused on her yelling at the officials and
- 21:32Speaker 6: being mad all the time, and that's just not as fun.
- 21:35Speaker 7: You know.
- 21:35Speaker 1: It's such a great point because she's still doing those
- 21:37Speaker 1: things on the court, she's still playing at a very
- 21:39Speaker 1: high level, You're right a.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Lot of the time.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Yeah, everything, but she's she's injured, so she has like
- 21:44Speaker 6: these kind of like she did a forty five and
- 21:46Speaker 6: ten the other day, it was absolutely insane, and then
- 21:48Speaker 6: another game she might have to sit a lot and
- 21:50Speaker 6: have a restrictions amit minute restriction because of her back
- 21:53Speaker 6: and other injuries. So it's a little bit up and down,
- 21:55Speaker 6: and I think that's frustrating for her, and I get that,
- 21:58Speaker 6: but again, long term, her brand and who she is
- 22:01Speaker 6: and the sport and the league are going to be
- 22:03Speaker 6: better off if she complains sometimes when it's called for
- 22:06Speaker 6: and then the rest of the time just plays basketball.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Right, she feels like she's earned every call, and a
- 22:11Speaker 1: lot of people feel like, no, that's on her, Like
- 22:13Speaker 1: Michael Jordan got a lot of calls because he earned
- 22:15Speaker 1: a lot of calls, you know.
- 22:16Speaker 7: Well, and she's still in her third year, missed most
- 22:18Speaker 7: of her second year. She's not Michael Jordan, right.
- 22:21Speaker 6: There are so many players in the league that could
- 22:23Speaker 6: be arguing for you, not Asia Wilson. She's not somebody
- 22:27Speaker 6: who has won anything yet. And that's not to say
- 22:29Speaker 6: that you need to win to be respected or treated right.
- 22:32Speaker 6: But again, so I posted a video the other day
- 22:34Speaker 6: that was satirical and it was essentially like, Caitlin Clark's
- 22:37Speaker 6: the only person taking hard fouls, and then it was
- 22:39Speaker 6: a video of someone just getting the shit beat out
- 22:41Speaker 6: of them.
- 22:41Speaker 7: You know, Caitlin Clark's the only one who has the
- 22:43Speaker 7: right to complain.
- 22:44Speaker 6: Another video of someone getting put in the headlock, and
- 22:46Speaker 6: it's like, I understand in some ways why people feel
- 22:48Speaker 6: this way, because if your algorithm or your internet only
- 22:51Speaker 6: shows you slowed down replays and still shots of Kaitlyn
- 22:53Speaker 6: Clark looking like she's getting beat up, and you watch
- 22:55Speaker 6: none of the games and nothing else gets fed to
- 22:57Speaker 6: you on your Internet, you're gonna be like, WHOA, that's crazy.
- 23:00Speaker 6: They're targeting her. She's the only one. And I'm like,
- 23:03Speaker 6: watch the games, watch fill all your timeline with other clips,
- 23:07Speaker 6: because you're going to see that the league is too physical.
- 23:09Speaker 6: And that's why the rest of the players are also
- 23:11Speaker 6: saying we need better and more consistent officiating. So we're
- 23:14Speaker 6: all a little bit safer and protected from injury.
- 23:16Speaker 7: But it's not just Caitlin.
- 23:17Speaker 6: But I don't blame people if that's what they see
- 23:19Speaker 6: every day and that's the only thing they see, because again,
- 23:21Speaker 6: that's what people know they can monetize, sir.
- 23:24Speaker 3: The WNBA is growing by almost every measurable metric. But
- 23:28Speaker 3: when you look at the conversation around Kathy Engelbert, the commissioner,
- 23:34Speaker 3: everything seems so negative towards her. What is fair and
- 23:38Speaker 3: what isn't fair when it comes to the commissioner's.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Role in all of this, Yeah, it's complicated in the
- 23:43Speaker 6: W because you know, we know Roger Goodell answers to
- 23:46Speaker 6: NFL owners and takes the slings and arrows of the
- 23:49Speaker 6: public in service of those owners, and he makes a
- 23:51Speaker 6: lot of money doing that, and we don't really expect
- 23:53Speaker 6: them to have that great of a relationship with the players,
- 23:55Speaker 6: Like when they do the bear hugs at the draft,
- 23:57Speaker 6: we're always kind of joking like, oh, that's because that's
- 23:59Speaker 6: their first time meeting him, and then the rest of
- 24:01Speaker 6: their career they're piss at him for whatever decisions he's making.
- 24:04Speaker 6: But in the W, Kathy answers to the w owners
- 24:07Speaker 6: and to the NBA and Adam Silver in a lot
- 24:09Speaker 6: of ways, in a way that's not super transparent. In fact,
- 24:12Speaker 6: after the Elisa Thomas Caitlin Clark Fowl reports had Adam
- 24:16Speaker 6: Silver being the one going over the top of Kathy
- 24:18Speaker 6: to decide that Alisa Thomas should be suspended. That's a
- 24:20Speaker 6: really tough position to be in where you're going to
- 24:22Speaker 6: take all the heat for things, but it feels like
- 24:25Speaker 6: you don't actually have the final say on a lot
- 24:26Speaker 6: of them. Secondarily, I think Kathy has been a great
- 24:29Speaker 6: business steward of the league. There's some questions about the
- 24:33Speaker 6: sixteen percent equity that they gave away a couple of
- 24:35Speaker 6: years ago. It was a really important time for a
- 24:37Speaker 6: capital injection in the league, but ultimately the way it
- 24:41Speaker 6: was valued was probably too low and now they've given
- 24:44Speaker 6: away too much of that piece of the league to others.
- 24:46Speaker 6: But beyond that, people think she's done a great job
- 24:49Speaker 6: business wise of stewarding the league. They do not think
- 24:52Speaker 6: she has the human touch to connect with the players,
- 24:55Speaker 6: and the question is whether you need that most men's
- 24:58Speaker 6: professional leagues. That is not required in women's professional sports,
- 25:02Speaker 6: and particularly the w where it's extremely intersectional with race
- 25:05Speaker 6: and gender and sexuality and all these other things. She
- 25:09Speaker 6: stepped in it a lot with some of the comments
- 25:11Speaker 6: she's made about players in the league, and that makes
- 25:14Speaker 6: it difficult for a lot of the players to feel
- 25:16Speaker 6: like she has their back with all the harassment, with
- 25:18Speaker 6: so much of the coverage being about online vitriol and
- 25:22Speaker 6: other things and not just about x's and o's and
- 25:23Speaker 6: how they play, there's more of a necessity, in my opinion,
- 25:26Speaker 6: for the commissioner to make the players feel, if not
- 25:29Speaker 6: physically in life more safe, but the very least psychologically supported,
- 25:34Speaker 6: and they feel a real disconnect with her.
- 25:35Speaker 7: So that's where that conflict comes in.
- 25:37Speaker 1: What'd you make a Dan Patrick meantail we're out in
- 25:39Speaker 1: Tahoe when this happen, would you make a Dan Patrick's
- 25:42Speaker 1: comment because the spot on he was spot on?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, you should.
- 25:46Speaker 6: You should want to clear up and use your own
- 25:50Speaker 6: voice to set whatever narrative you think is correct, not
- 25:53Speaker 6: showing up and blowing it off. And I'm interested because
- 25:56Speaker 6: she's speaking at WNB All Star. It's going to be
- 25:58Speaker 6: one of the first times we've heard from her in
- 25:59Speaker 6: a long time about all of these issues, and I
- 26:02Speaker 6: think Dan Patrick has a reputation and you can expect
- 26:06Speaker 6: to go on that show and be treated fairly. Yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 6: And so to decide not to go and to blow
- 26:10Speaker 6: them off last minute, and then to be chipping mere
- 26:15Speaker 6: yards away from me, yes, from you and from Dan
- 26:18Speaker 6: and not a good look.
- 26:20Speaker 7: Had to shoot him good.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Good, terrible? Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 1: No, Yes, she has a much better swing than I do.
- 26:25Speaker 1: She's a better golfer than I am. I mean she is, Yes,
- 26:28Speaker 1: by a lot. We'll get you out of here in
- 26:30Speaker 1: just a second. Couple of quick things. Okay, we were
- 26:32Speaker 1: playing a game yesterday, since you're close in proximity to Indiana. Okay,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and I'll ask you about the stadium here in a second.
- 26:39Speaker 1: But Indiana University football school or basketball school?
- 26:44Speaker 7: Basketball school?
- 26:48Speaker 2: Wow, she didn't even hesitate Taylor.
- 26:50Speaker 6: Still, it's gonna be Hoosier's white picket fence for a
- 26:54Speaker 6: long time. It's gonna take more than one Natty for that.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Okay, bear stadium. What's going on there?
- 27:02Speaker 7: So frustrating.
- 27:04Speaker 6: I'm of two minds because one, I'm like very grateful
- 27:07Speaker 6: that our city and state actually was smart enough not
- 27:10Speaker 6: to be throwing billions of dollars at billionaires every single
- 27:13Speaker 6: bit of research, every single piece of history says taxpayer
- 27:16Speaker 6: should not be funding these stadiums for billionaires, and we
- 27:19Speaker 6: don't as.
- 27:20Speaker 7: Citizens or as cities ever get out of it what
- 27:22Speaker 7: they claim.
- 27:23Speaker 6: We just end up supporting people who have enough money
- 27:25Speaker 6: and influence to get that money elsewhere.
- 27:27Speaker 7: So good on us for sticking by it. I can't decide.
- 27:31Speaker 6: On the one hand, it makes more sense to be
- 27:33Speaker 6: in the state of Illinois, and as a principal, I
- 27:36Speaker 6: would be super annoyed if the Bears were in Indiana.
- 27:38Speaker 6: On the other hand, Indiana and Gary or that area
- 27:42Speaker 6: would actually probably be more influx of money into the
- 27:45Speaker 6: city because people would just stay in Chicago and do
- 27:48Speaker 6: all the stuff in Chicago and then go over to
- 27:50Speaker 6: the game and come back, whereas Arlington Heights they might
- 27:53Speaker 6: do that, but probably not as much. So it's a
- 27:58Speaker 6: toss up. I think you have to under that Soldier
- 28:00Speaker 6: Field is not going to be the place because they'll
- 28:02Speaker 6: never fully own it. It's protected in a lot of
- 28:04Speaker 6: ways by historical things there. It's locked on multiple sides
- 28:09Speaker 6: by the lake, which makes it impossible.
- 28:10Speaker 7: To get in and out of.
- 28:11Speaker 6: It's super inconvenient despite being in the city, so people
- 28:14Speaker 6: might actually find that it's easier to get to a
- 28:16Speaker 6: game in either of the two.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Other places, just out of principle.
- 28:20Speaker 6: The idea of like, also there's parts of Illinois that
- 28:22Speaker 6: want to secede to Indiana, Like Southern Illinois thinks it's
- 28:27Speaker 6: more like Indiana. Like they want to have all their
- 28:29Speaker 6: guns and have certain political views. So the idea of
- 28:32Speaker 6: them just like getting the Bears, like you you don't
- 28:35Speaker 6: get to have our bears Indiana. Like I remember I
- 28:37Speaker 6: saw like there's like a sign it was like Indiana,
- 28:39Speaker 6: We're not in the South, So why are we like this?
- 28:41Speaker 6: Like that's how I feel about them, So, like I
- 28:44Speaker 6: don't want them to take the Bears, even if it's
- 28:46Speaker 6: just in location and not in name. But I understand
- 28:49Speaker 6: it's way more complicated than the fields, Right, there's a
- 28:52Speaker 6: lot more that goes into it.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Yeah, Sarah, you and c hasn't had an All Star
- 28:56Speaker 3: in the NBA in eighteen years, and right now, as
- 28:58Speaker 3: a Carolina fan, all our eggs, we're putting it in
- 29:01Speaker 3: the Caleb Wilson basket. Yeah, here's to the street in Chicago.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Is Caleb Wilson going to be the prince that was
- 29:07Speaker 3: promised for the Bulls.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Oh boy, First of all, is that at Mitchell Trubisky
- 29:13Speaker 6: helmet behind you?
- 29:15Speaker 4: Is Mitchell Trubisky bobblehead?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yes, Chris, he was a walk on football player at Carolina.
- 29:20Speaker 6: Speaking of oh nice Kings Taylor, speaking of u NC
- 29:25Speaker 6: people that were promised to be the next great thing
- 29:28Speaker 6: for us.
- 29:31Speaker 7: I am hopeful.
- 29:33Speaker 6: I feel very good about what the experts are saying
- 29:35Speaker 6: about him.
- 29:36Speaker 7: It feels like we're in a.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Constant like groundhog Day with the Bulls, where we're like
- 29:41Speaker 6: middle of the road. We get a decently high draft pick,
- 29:44Speaker 6: we pick them, they're either nothing or we think they're nothing,
- 29:47Speaker 6: we send them somewhere else, and then they become something great,
- 29:49Speaker 6: which just happened.
- 29:50Speaker 7: With like so many of them.
- 29:53Speaker 6: So yeah, we'll see, We'll see new coach, new player.
- 29:56Speaker 6: I'm always gonna be hopeful at the beginning, because why
- 29:59Speaker 6: follows sports if you can't find the hope before everything
- 30:02Speaker 6: is ruined. And then I will be honest when everything
- 30:04Speaker 6: is ruined. So I'm for now I'm gonna say, and
- 30:07Speaker 6: it just I mean the marketing. If we had double
- 30:10Speaker 6: Caleb just running this town would be absolutely Caleb Caleb
- 30:15Speaker 6: Connor PCA like to get all those boys running around together.
- 30:18Speaker 7: That'd be so fun.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Last question on the way out here, and we appreciate
- 30:22Speaker 1: the time you had my daughter's lacrosse coach, Kellyamante Hiller
- 30:27Speaker 1: on your show. And you seem surprised before we started
- 30:30Speaker 1: recording here that she had so many kind words to
- 30:32Speaker 1: say about me during that interview.
- 30:34Speaker 6: Yeah. I don't know if she's just learned how to
- 30:37Speaker 6: play the game right as a coach and someone who
- 30:38Speaker 6: needs to, you know, engender the love of potential boosters
- 30:42Speaker 6: and otherwise. But I teed her up to really tell
- 30:45Speaker 6: me some good stories about what a mess you are
- 30:47Speaker 6: and how annoying you are, probably calling for extra tickets
- 30:50Speaker 6: or demand making demands of things, or telling her that
- 30:52Speaker 6: you were going to show up and talk to the girls,
- 30:54Speaker 6: but you have a lacrosse mitz for or whatever. But
- 30:57Speaker 6: instead she was like, oh, he's so, I'm she she
- 31:01Speaker 6: gave like a cursory sentence acknowledging that I had said
- 31:03Speaker 6: that you were both a wonderful person and also the worst, and.
- 31:07Speaker 7: She acknowledged and agreed and then and then mostly.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Said nice stuff about you and how you're such a
- 31:13Speaker 6: great supporter and you're at all the games and all
- 31:15Speaker 6: the other stuff. And it was actually funny because we
- 31:18Speaker 6: hung up and I said thank you never, and my
- 31:19Speaker 6: producers were like, that was so funny because like she
- 31:23Speaker 6: only had the nicest things to say about him, but
- 31:26Speaker 6: like she said, he was always there and supporting the
- 31:28Speaker 6: girls and like never missed a game. So I kind
- 31:30Speaker 6: of understand why maybe his like colleagues or bosses might
- 31:32Speaker 6: think he's the worst.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Because I didn't go to his job.
- 31:35Speaker 7: And I was like, there you go. You guys got it.
- 31:37Speaker 7: You figured it out right away.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Let's be honest. Your entire staff was disappointed. You wanted
- 31:42Speaker 2: her to take a sledge advertage she did it.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Yes, obviously I wanted that clip man like content brain,
- 31:49Speaker 6: thank you.
- 31:49Speaker 2: For always looking out for me.
- 31:51Speaker 1: She is the host of Good Game with Zara Spain
- 31:53Speaker 1: on iHeart Women's Sports. Will also be covering the WNBA
- 31:57Speaker 1: All Star Game this weekend in her hometown of Chicago.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I can't have her on enough. By the way, we
- 32:01Speaker 1: don't need people in the middle. We don't need middle men. Okay,
- 32:04Speaker 1: you and I have known each other for over a
- 32:05Speaker 1: decade now. If we want to talk to each other,
- 32:08Speaker 1: just text each other.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Listen, That was not me choosing you.
- 32:12Speaker 6: That was me saying, hey, let me know if there's
- 32:13Speaker 6: anyone around iHeart that wants to talk WNBA All Star
- 32:16Speaker 6: and Good Game with Sarah Spain, the first and only
- 32:18Speaker 6: daily women's sports show. And then they came back and
- 32:20Speaker 6: they're like, what about your boys?
- 32:21Speaker 7: STU got that.
- 32:22Speaker 2: They're like, duh, anytime, I always want to talk to you,
- 32:26Speaker 2: Just so we're quick, all right, enjoy the week. I
- 32:29Speaker 2: try to get some rest when you can. I'm gonna
- 32:31Speaker 2: die say had a flave for me
