- 0:01Speaker 1: Alright, coming to you live from Alton, Monte Springs, Florida.
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is the Embers Show, your host Emberor and we're
- 0:07Speaker 2: going to.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Do this episode as I walk and stand for not
- 0:14Speaker 1: only for who I am, but for God, Jesus and
- 0:18Speaker 1: Holy Oh. I gotta put the Holy Spirit.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's been a great day.
- 0:23Speaker 1: So I wanna continue this to encourage anybody. But first, foremost,
- 0:27Speaker 1: let's get into prayer. Lord Father, that art's in heaven.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I come to you in prayer to be able to
- 0:30Speaker 1: have the Holy Spirit, be able to speak through this mike,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and be able to go through the listener's ears and
- 0:34Speaker 1: reach their hearts and minds and be able to apply
- 0:37Speaker 1: these verses to their lives. And the Lord Jesus Christ name,
- 0:40Speaker 1: I pray a men. So we're in Proverbs chapter twenty four.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And this is a different kind of Bible study than
- 0:49Speaker 1: what you may be accustomed to or what you may
- 0:51Speaker 1: think Bible study really is, because it doesn't have to
- 0:55Speaker 1: be so bleak. And so in a lot of people's
- 1:02Speaker 1: minds in perspective, they think that church is boring.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Reading the Bible is boring.
- 1:11Speaker 1: No, it's truthfully how you interpretate it and how you
- 1:16Speaker 1: actually put effort into it like it doesn't have. I mean,
- 1:23Speaker 1: we could do everything in a boring or a more
- 1:28Speaker 1: uplifting way. So if you wanna go ahead and grab
- 1:31Speaker 1: your Bible or get on your Bible app and read
- 1:34Speaker 1: along as you hear along, I highly encourage that, as
- 1:38Speaker 1: I am striving to allow this great day to manifest.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Even more so, Proverbs chapter twenty four states, do not
- 1:46Speaker 1: be jealous of evil people. Do not try to be
- 1:49Speaker 1: friends with them. They only think about how they sorry.
- 1:55Speaker 1: They only think about how to cause trouble. They only
- 1:58Speaker 1: speak to be cruel. M We can just let that
- 2:03Speaker 1: sit in for a minute. We're gonna go to verse
- 2:06Speaker 1: We're gonna go to verse three. In that states it
- 2:10Speaker 1: is wisdom that helps a man to build a house.
- 2:15Speaker 1: The house will have a strong foundation if he understands, suh,
- 2:21Speaker 1: what is right? Life is so simple. We make it complicated.
- 2:27Speaker 1: What is right and what is wrong. And when you
- 2:29Speaker 1: know what is right and what is wrong and you make.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Those choices right, there's always.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Going to be influencers. There's always gonna be somebody that
- 2:41Speaker 1: tries to encourage you, whether it be encourage you to
- 2:44Speaker 1: do right.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Or encourage you to do wrong.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And when we're talking about the first verse as well
- 2:49Speaker 1: as something that I believe a lot of us deal
- 2:52Speaker 1: with is the jealousy of what others have and how
- 2:57Speaker 1: others idolize those that are in power or that have.
- 3:02Speaker 2: More material things and relationships. I mean, let's just be
- 3:09Speaker 2: completely honest.
- 3:10Speaker 1: We've all had to deal with jealousy. But you gotta
- 3:14Speaker 1: try to find those types of people you really wanna
- 3:18Speaker 1: be around that are more christ Like, because if you
- 3:21Speaker 1: press in this play button, there's a good indicator that
- 3:26Speaker 1: you are tired of the life that you have lived.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You wanna know more, you wanna know more about righteousness,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and we're gonna get into it even a little deeper.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So just bear with me. Bear with me Verse four one.
- 3:40Speaker 1: In Proverbs chapter twenty four, read along as you hear
- 3:42Speaker 1: a long knowledge will help him to fill its room
- 3:48Speaker 1: with beautiful and valuable things.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Verse five.
- 3:51Speaker 1: A wise man is better than a brave soldier. If
- 3:55Speaker 1: a man learns knowledge, he will become stronger. Let's talk
- 4:01Speaker 1: about it. Let's talk about how knowledge is power, right,
- 4:03Speaker 1: but if it is not used correctly, and we can
- 4:08Speaker 1: talk about manipulation. We can talk about different things here,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but we're also going to be talking about bravery as
- 4:13Speaker 1: I come from a military background and I have soldiers
- 4:18Speaker 1: blood in my DNA, so I'm not your average shoe.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And even though I'm not in.
- 4:27Speaker 2: The military, I respect the military.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And I don't want to make this about politics because
- 4:32Speaker 1: it's about military and be in that DNA that I
- 4:37Speaker 1: have because I'm related to Daniel Boone, the Great Explorer.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You know, it does take a lot of bravery to
- 4:43Speaker 1: be honest. It also takes a lot of bravery to
- 4:46Speaker 1: take accountability and.
- 4:48Speaker 2: To know that you don't know it all.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, like we're talking about knowledge as well, right,
- 4:53Speaker 1: we're talking about knowledge. So verse seven goes into stating
- 4:57Speaker 1: a fool cannot understand wisdom. He has nothing to say.
- 5:01Speaker 1: When leaders meet, people get intimidated when somebody around them
- 5:07Speaker 1: is more intelligent or is more has more statue, has more.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Grace.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It helps them in no way because it's when you
- 5:23Speaker 1: get around certain people that bring out the bad in you,
- 5:32Speaker 1: and you're seeing the type of person that you are,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and you see somebody that is of the light, It's
- 5:38Speaker 1: going to.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Make you feel some type of way. It's going to
- 5:41Speaker 2: make you feel a little uncomfortable.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But let's let's get deeper into this, so right or
- 5:46Speaker 1: at verse eight, if anyone has ideas to do evil things,
- 5:50Speaker 1: people will know.
- 5:51Speaker 2: That he always causes trouble. Verse nine.
- 5:55Speaker 1: If you decide to do something foolish, that is a sin.
- 6:00Speaker 1: People hate anyone who laughs at others. Now, when we're
- 6:04Speaker 1: talking about people, we're talking about people of God. We're
- 6:08Speaker 1: talking about people that are of the light that hates
- 6:12Speaker 1: when others criticize or make fun of or And a
- 6:16Speaker 1: lot of the times we do this unintentionally.
- 6:19Speaker 2: To hurt somebody.
- 6:20Speaker 1: We just do it to be kind of jokish or
- 6:25Speaker 1: whatever the word may be. I might not have my
- 6:27Speaker 1: words completely right a hundred percent of the time. I
- 6:29Speaker 1: am not perfect, and at least I don't have to
- 6:32Speaker 1: be amen. So I'm really feeling this day. I'm really
- 6:36Speaker 1: feeling these these moments right that just continue to add
- 6:40Speaker 1: up to make it a great day. I believe every
- 6:42Speaker 1: day is your good day when you have the chance
- 6:45Speaker 1: to make things right with either people, places, or things,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and of course.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Make it right with God.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And I'm breaking these verses down for you to realize
- 6:56Speaker 1: that you can do the same thing if you dive
- 7:00Speaker 1: deep into the word.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The word becomes you. You become the word.
- 7:05Speaker 1: The more that you put on the armor of God,
- 7:08Speaker 1: the more you're going to attract people that.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Have the armor of God.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Now you're also going to be able to attract some
- 7:14Speaker 1: people that want to get you off track.
- 7:17Speaker 2: And I am a walking poet, and I don't know
- 7:19Speaker 2: ways show it. But let's get into a deeper. Let's
- 7:22Speaker 2: get into a deeper.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Proverbs Chapter twenty four, verse ten stays, if you stop
- 7:28Speaker 1: trying in times of trouble, you are really very weak.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Verse eleven. You should rescue people who are in danger
- 7:39Speaker 1: of death.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Verse twelve, Verse twelve.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You may say we did not know what was happening.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But God knows your thoughts. He carefully watches your life,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and he knows what you are doing. He will pay
- 7:55Speaker 1: back to you whatever you deserve. So always be kind,
- 8:00Speaker 1: always be considerate of others. As we are eight minutes
- 8:02Speaker 1: into this episode, I want you to take some time
- 8:05Speaker 1: to reflect on the things that you do on a
- 8:10Speaker 1: regular basis does not to necessarily be a daily basis.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm not sitting here saying, you know, you look at
- 8:17Speaker 1: your wrongs, but look about those moments that you do
- 8:22Speaker 1: the right thing.
- 8:23Speaker 2: How it makes you feel how it makes others feel.
- 8:27Speaker 2: You know, having having been able to obtain.
- 8:34Speaker 1: This knowledge in my two years of being a part
- 8:38Speaker 1: of a program.
- 8:39Speaker 2: That is a spirit, a spirit of a program, this
- 8:43Speaker 2: is something that's been on my heart.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So anybody that's listening to this, you need to realize
- 8:48Speaker 1: that this is not only just Bible study, is also
- 8:50Speaker 1: a recovery.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Study and being able to be.
- 8:57Speaker 1: In the essence of a spirit, a spirit of a room,
- 9:02Speaker 1: a spirit of a meeting, a spirit of communion, whether
- 9:10Speaker 1: it's a church, whether it's an event, whether it's just
- 9:14Speaker 1: with your family.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Realizing that you can't do this alone.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You can't just have faith and not serve God and
- 9:30Speaker 1: have the audacity to.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Be able to think that you know you are.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Okay with holding on to what your faith says about you.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's not only just being the testimony, it's also being
- 9:47Speaker 1: able to.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Give to others what has been given to you.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior,
- 9:56Speaker 1: there are certain spiritual gifts.
- 9:58Speaker 2: That over time will reveal themselves. Not only do I
- 10:04Speaker 2: have the spiritual gift of prayer being able to pray with.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Others, I have the spiritual gift of being able to
- 10:14Speaker 1: do this.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Bible study and I love it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I also have a spiritual gift of entertaining being able
- 10:21Speaker 1: to spread Gospel in a rap form that the more
- 10:27Speaker 1: and more that I continue to do it, the more
- 10:30Speaker 1: and more God's opening doors. And there are other doors
- 10:33Speaker 1: that are being shut. And I'm talking about doors of doubt,
- 10:37Speaker 1: doors of fear, doors of insecurities, doors of self pity.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I can keep going.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Once you really focus on God, Jesus in the Holy Spirit,
- 10:48Speaker 1: things start to reveal themselves. And this is what I
- 10:51Speaker 1: love about Proverbs, because Proverbs is about prosperity. God doesn't
- 10:55Speaker 1: want to continue to see you in poverty. God doesn't
- 10:58Speaker 1: want to still see you in that. God wants to
- 11:01Speaker 1: see you break out of it. That does not mean
- 11:03Speaker 1: that he's going to just give.
- 11:04Speaker 2: It to you. You have to put the work in.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And I'm not sitting here saying that I'm perfect by
- 11:10Speaker 1: any means, but I'll tell.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You what.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm seeking to be perfect. I do not want to
- 11:15Speaker 1: live a mediocre life. I want to be more like Christ.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And that's putting others before myself, being more godly, not.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Thinking that I'm God.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I need the Holy Spirit to be able to lead me,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and as we continue to go on Proverbs chapter twenty four,
- 11:33Speaker 1: bear with me.
- 11:33Speaker 2: We're gonna go a little deeper, and we're gonna close
- 11:35Speaker 2: out right hereb twenty four.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Verse thirteen states, my child, honey is good for you,
- 11:42Speaker 1: so eat it. It is sweet on your tongue when
- 11:46Speaker 1: you taste it verse fourteen. And the same way, wisdom
- 11:50Speaker 1: is also good for you. If you find wisdom, it
- 11:53Speaker 1: will help you in life. The things that you hope
- 11:56Speaker 1: for in the future will surely happen. We have to
- 12:00Speaker 1: learn from not only our mistakes, we have to learn
- 12:04Speaker 1: from our victories. Learn what makes relationships thrive, what makes
- 12:11Speaker 1: your job strive? How can you be promoted if you
- 12:15Speaker 1: think that you are not worthy. Oh, let me get it,
- 12:20Speaker 1: Let me get it, Let me get it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Spirit go, Spirit release.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I want someone that is listening today to change something
- 12:30Speaker 1: about your days. Doesn't have to be today, it can
- 12:33Speaker 1: be tomorrow. Take thirty minutes out of your days and
- 12:36Speaker 1: not only read the word, pray, get outside, do.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Something with your life. Do not waste your life. No more,
- 12:45Speaker 2: no more, no more.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And you continue to accumulate those days where you just
- 12:49Speaker 1: take thirty minutes out of your day to get out
- 12:52Speaker 1: of your brain, to get out of what is suffocating you.
- 12:59Speaker 1: You can't do it though, you can't do it alone.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And I want to also talk about the verse of
- 13:06Speaker 1: the day. Let's get into it. Let's get into it
- 13:09Speaker 1: because we're gonna go. We're on Proverbs chapter twenty four.
- 13:11Speaker 1: But here is the verse of the day, Revelations chapter three,
- 13:15Speaker 1: Verse twenty states, Look, I am standing at the door
- 13:19Speaker 1: of your house. I am knocking on your door. When
- 13:23Speaker 1: you hear my voice, you should open the door when
- 13:27Speaker 1: I Then I will come in. We will eat a
- 13:31Speaker 1: meal together as friends. The Lord is tugging at your heart.
- 13:37Speaker 1: You're feeling discomfort, You're feeling bored.
- 13:42Speaker 2: You really need to realize.
- 13:43Speaker 1: That that is God knocking at your door. He wants
- 13:47Speaker 1: time with you. He wants to hear from you. Tell
- 13:52Speaker 1: him the good things, tell him the bad things, just
- 13:55Speaker 1: like you treat a friend that you're very close to
- 13:58Speaker 1: or a companion that you're very close to, and you
- 14:01Speaker 1: tell them everything a therapist. Use Jesus as a therapist
- 14:06Speaker 1: today and tomorrow and the next day, and.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Just watch watch what he does. Watch what he does.
- 14:12Speaker 2: This is the Ember show, your host's Ember.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And I hope that you've been able to obtain something
- 14:17Speaker 1: great from this podcast episode that I did while I
- 14:22Speaker 1: was walking.
- 14:24Speaker 2: You gotta walk the walk. You also gotta.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Talk to talk let me preach. I've been having a
- 14:30Speaker 1: great day. I hope that you have a great day.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Remember every day is a good day, not a bad one.
- 14:36Speaker 1: You're gonna have bad moments, but it's up to you
- 14:38Speaker 1: how you react to those bad moments.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Don't let it drag out.
- 14:44Speaker 1: This is the Ember Show, your host, Ember, thank you
- 14:46Speaker 1: for pressing play, and remember God loved you and God
- 14:48Speaker 1: has a plan for you.
- 14:50Speaker 2: You just have to surrender.
