  Speaker 1: to go through this healing process and people are gonna

  Speaker 1: be able to see up close and personal, really what

  Speaker 1: grief is all about, because a lot of people are

  Speaker 1: have sey misconceptions about grief. I've had people tell people
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: that even that grief was of the devil, grief is
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: not of the devil. They made people feel like it
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: was their fault, made them feel guilty, and all types
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: of things. So I want people to be able to
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: be in a place where they can hell, so that

  Speaker 1: those around them also hell, because this is something that
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: we all are going to have to face. You know.

  Speaker 1: Even I have lost family members in the past, losing
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: my brother was a different type of loss for me.

  Speaker 1: It was a feeling that I have never experienced. Like
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: even today, I had my moment, Like every day I
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: have a moment. It may be a different moment every day,
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: but it is something that I'm having to to deal with,
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: something that I'm having to live through, and I want
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: for to see that. You know, just because you see
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: me on this podcast, it's because you see doing a
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: lot of this stuff that I'm doing does not mean
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: that I am I'm exempt from the things that you
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: go to too. We all go through these things and
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: we're all gonna face different things. So I just want
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: to be able to be an outlet and to be
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: able to be transparent so that as we heal through
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: our process, other people can heal too, because I believe
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: that heal people can heal people, and once we heal,
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: then other people around us can heal. So that that's
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: what it is. I'm just trying to give out that
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: real effect, y'all. I just want to be able to
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: throw that little pedal in the water and just watch
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: those those waves just go out, you know. So that's
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: that's how I wanted to night, y'all. Just wanted to
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: let you guys know that Simon is in recovery, so
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: y'all keep her lifted in there and hopefully by the
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: time her next bow is up, maybe she'll be back

  Speaker 1: or we'll have an update for you guys, but we'll

  Speaker 1: definitely keep you posted, y'all. This year is winding down,

  Speaker 1: I tell you, the last thirty days really flew by, y'all.

  Speaker 1: Yesterday was thirty days since I lost my brother. And
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: when I tell you where have those days gone? Hey,
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: it seems like yesterday like. But not gonna cry. I'm
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: not gonna go there. I'm not gonna get emotional because
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: I know that this is the time when a lot
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: of people get emotional because y'all, stuff are lost. You know,
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: I still some time grieve the loss of my mom.
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: And my mom been gone since nineteen ninety one, y'all,
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: twelve on my sixteenth birthday. I'll never forget that day.
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: I'll never forget that morning, at that early Saturday morning,
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: and sometime I wonder, you know, I used to want
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: to lie. I'm always up between three and five. But
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: now I'm know, y'all, because that was during the time
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: that my mom transitioned back in nineteen ninety one. I
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: remember when she flatlined and the nurses coming in and
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: asking me to leave, and I could see them through
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: the blinds, you know, I could see them the little
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: crack in the blinds, and I can see them working
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: on my mom, and I can see the machine. I
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: could see it. And they come to the door and
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: they asked me to call my family. So I called
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: my family, and by the time my aunt and got there,
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: I they met them at the door, and I was
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: able to tell them, you know, that the nurses had
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: put me out and they wanted to see, y'all. And
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: immediately when the nurse come to the door and met
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: my aunt and she started talking to my aunt. The
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: next thing I knew, my aunt was passed out on
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: the floor, and I already knew my mom was gone.
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: I saw the machine flat line, and I already knew.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: So it was a different experience, y'all. So these experiences
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: are different. And again, I still have my moments. I
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: have my moments with everyone that I've lost. You know,
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: there's times when I may smell smell and think about
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: my cousin, Like it's winter time and I smelled wood.
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: I think about my cousin, my first cousin that I
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: ever lost, back in nineteen eighty nine. That was the
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: first person that I lost that I knew at like
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: the day before he passed, y'all. He visited everybody, even
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: stopped by our house. He played with me, He played
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: with my niece, He even shot basketball with me. And
• 15:01
  Speaker 1: the next day I got the phone call that my
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: cousin had drowned. Somebody that could swim drown and just
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: I don't know, but y'all, I that's I got on here.
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go home and get off here because
• 15:25
  Speaker 1: I am excited about season three again. Y'all share some
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: love and praying for her, hopefully that she'll have a
• 15:38
  Speaker 1: speedy recovery and that she'll be back on her post
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: on what she do. Y'all know she is a warrior
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: and definitely want her to get back here fast as
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: she can, but we want her to take her time
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: and know that we are praying for her and we
• 15:58
