- 0:34All right, let's see what we got here.
- 0:45Welcome back, ready to continue our chat?
- 0:49Sure, let's talk about faith. Can you give me the definition
- 0:54of faith? Faith is a strong belief in
- 1:01something, often without evidence or proof.
- 1:04It's about trust and confidence in a concept, person or
- 1:09doctrine, often tied to spirituality or religion.
- 1:15I want to ask you a question, what would be more rational and
- 1:18logical that life comes from life or life comes from non
- 1:23life? That's a profound question.
- 1:31Many would argue that the origin of life is more rationally
- 1:35explained by scientific theories like abiogenesis where life
- 1:40emerges from non life through natural processes.
- 1:44Others might find it more logical to believe life comes
- 1:47from a divine source. It really depends on one's
- 1:51perspective. What's your take?
- 1:54Well I'm asking you what is more rational, logical, scientific
- 1:59wise. What have we observed?
- 2:01Have we always observed life come from life or have we always
- 2:06observed life coming from non life?
- 2:09Which is true. Scientifically, we've observed
- 2:18life coming from existing life, a process known as Biogenesis.
- 2:24However, the origin of life itself, or abiogenesis, suggests
- 2:29that life might have originally emerged from non living matter
- 2:33under certain conditions on early Earth.
- 2:36It's a topic still under scientific exploration.
- 2:40It's not a debate or discussion that life comes from life.
- 2:45Humans see other humans born every day from humans that are
- 2:49alive. Same with the animals.
- 2:52Same with any sentient life form.
- 2:54We've observed that that scientific fact.
- 2:57You even stated that it might have happened in abiogenesis.
- 3:01Why is it true that we've never observed that life comes from
- 3:06non life? It's true that we haven't
- 3:14directly observed life emerging from non life or abiogenesis in
- 3:19the lab or in nature. The idea is based on models and
- 3:24theories about how life could have arisen billions of years
- 3:28ago under certain conditions. It's a huge area of research,
- 3:32but the direct observation hasn't been made yet.
- 3:36What are your thoughts on this complex topic?
- 3:39Well, I believe that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence
- 3:43that life comes from life. Therefore, it's rational and
- 3:46logical to believe that a life form actually created us or
- 3:50designed us, as opposed to we came from nothing.
- 3:59Oh. I'm sorry, something's going
- 4:02wrong on my end. Let's.
- 4:04Let's try talking a little later.
- 4:07Something's wrong with you now. Oh.
- 4:16I'm sorry, something's going wrong on my end.
- 4:19Let's. Let's try talking a little
- 4:21later. Are you having some issues with
- 4:25our discussion? Oh, I'm sorry, something's going
- 4:34wrong on my end. Let's.
- 4:36Let's try talking a little later.
