- 2:26Speaker 2: Man and not just say at the club.
- 2:28Speaker 6: You don't think they played it at my sister's wedding.

- 2:34Speaker 2: Then number one wedding song.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Shout I don't know, I mean like a line dancing.

- 2:48Speaker 3: the show yeah flex.
- 2:52Speaker 2: No cash money, oh yeah, records.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Also, I'm going to like completely cool, truly different weddings
- 3:01Speaker 3: than most are.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Okay, okay, we get it. Plays all over the world,
- 3:06Speaker 2: so we go to boring white weddings, we get it.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Super white.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I got it.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Just say it.
- 3:16Speaker 6: No, I love a white wedding.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Shout plays worldwide.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I think still I do love the Bundy hot, but
- 3:27Speaker 2: I like still Fly. That's my favorite wedding song in Louisiana.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I guess it didn't hit maybe other places.
- 3:35Speaker 6: You're alone on the shout thing.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Yeah, you are lonely on the.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Day, and he like really wants to die on that
- 3:40Speaker 3: hill too.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I'll let you know.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think there's I'm gonna die on a hill.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You will have those.
- 3:48Speaker 2: What event were you at a lander where they played
- 3:50Speaker 2: Shout and you're like, this is we it was? It was?
- 3:54Speaker 3: It was raising money for children's museum? Is lame?
- 3:57Speaker 4: You said?
- 3:59Speaker 3: No? I did not.
- 4:00Speaker 4: You said the crowd is a little lame.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Not the No.
- 4:03Speaker 3: They didn't dance when they played shout.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It was the Texas Bowl a video. Nobody did anything.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm sorry at the Vanderbilt game.
- 4:12Speaker 7: I'm sorry at the Texas Bowl and when they're raising
- 4:15Speaker 7: money for a children's museum? Was that a wedding reception?
- 4:18Speaker 7: I've missed that part of the story, but it's part
- 4:21Speaker 7: wedding reception. Did you write shower?
- 4:23Speaker 2: Right, son? My goodness?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Right, lobbyist, big shout, lobby lord.
- 4:38Speaker 7: The question was wedding reception song, not children's museum fundraiser?
- 4:47Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Also, yeah, we'll get people out on the day shore Well,
- 4:55Speaker 3: depend on.
- 4:55Speaker 5: How many drinks you got for sure for show, not shout.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's okay, dude, And I'm an old soul like I
- 5:03Speaker 2: love old music. You know that about me?
- 5:04Speaker 4: People in the chatter, riot stand up and get crunk.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Let's going.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Matt hates the kids. Confirmed basically love the troops.
- 5:16Speaker 3: I hate kids, love the truth.
- 5:17Speaker 7: Hate these kids, but those kids sometimes do grow up
- 5:21Speaker 7: to be true.
- 5:21Speaker 2: You treat kids like the rams, treat Draft picks them.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I like Michael Jordan's Yeah about Michael.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Speaking of Michael Jordan's yeah, I want three NASCAR races
- 5:36Speaker 7: in a row, not a big deal.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Does he have a does he have a car or
- 5:42Speaker 6: something out there?
- 5:42Speaker 4: Yeah, owns twenty three racing or whatever.
- 5:45Speaker 6: I had no idea.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like dominating. So it's just driver that races
- 5:51Speaker 4: farm like.
- 5:51Speaker 3: This is he probably gambled.
- 5:53Speaker 7: Probably listeners that have a lot more like information. But
- 5:55Speaker 7: from what I read now, I'm only reading the headlines,
- 5:58Speaker 7: not diving into the every word of the articles. But
- 6:02Speaker 7: Michael Jordan, his racer for his twenty three racing, won
- 6:06Speaker 7: three NASCAR races in a row, which I don't know
- 6:09Speaker 7: if it's been done or whatever. And then like his
- 6:11Speaker 7: race the next race is drivers like plus six hundred
- 6:15Speaker 7: to win something like that, which is so wild.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's crazy. He's dominating. He just dominates whatever he does.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I haven't watched NASCAR since Wallace like those days. Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 2: the rescue walls with the middle of Light.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Have you ever borne with the DuPont Paign? Have you
- 6:29Speaker 2: ever been to a race? Yeah? You have.
- 6:31Speaker 6: I've never been to one, but I would like to.
- 6:33Speaker 7: I'm going on a guys trip. I don't do it often.
- 6:35Speaker 7: I get together with some of my packers guys ever
- 6:38Speaker 7: now and then it's just the Kentucky Derby trip. No,
- 6:41Speaker 7: this is a different group. Okay, some of the some
- 6:43Speaker 7: of the similar people, but a different group, different trip.
- 6:46Speaker 4: We're going to Alabama.
- 6:47Speaker 2: We're gonna go.
- 6:49Speaker 6: We're gonna tell that'll be fun.
- 6:50Speaker 7: It's gonna be a Sunday. I think you're going to
- 6:52Speaker 7: be I think it's in April. It's a Sunday night.
- 6:55Speaker 7: So we're gonna go, like on Friday. We're staying at
- 6:57Speaker 7: Lake Martin for the week.
- 6:58Speaker 2: We might see you on Thursday of the next week
- 7:01Speaker 2: after you recover. I'm serious. They can be playing a shout.
- 7:05Speaker 2: They're gonna be playing everything. Did you did you ever
- 7:07Speaker 2: see Dev's videos? I think it was Talladega and what
- 7:10Speaker 2: goes on at night at Talladega?
- 7:13Speaker 5: Did you see those? Ye, we'll see you Thursday.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Yeah, I think Alvin Kamara has a car too.
- 7:20Speaker 2: He does.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks South.
- 7:22Speaker 7: First time the same driver won the first three races
- 7:25Speaker 7: of the season since like nineteen sixty or something.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Flynn interrupted five. You know how many times this guy
- 7:32Speaker 2: interrupted me. I'll be trying to talk in the huddle.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Shut up, interrupts me.
- 7:38Speaker 6: No, I think he's seen five times.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Dude always interrupted me trying to talk about things I
- 7:43Speaker 2: saw the play before shoot up plute.
- 7:45Speaker 4: You you're talking about from the huddle.
- 7:49Speaker 7: Well, no one was as smart as me in the huddle,
- 7:51Speaker 7: so like, why would anybody else say anything?
- 7:53Speaker 4: Okay, some people thought they were they were wrong.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I do remember you telling Bret Helms to shut up
- 8:02Speaker 2: one time, and he had a couple of letters for
- 8:03Speaker 2: you too.
- 8:04Speaker 4: I had him, I had.
- 8:05Speaker 7: I had bigger letters for him, bigger, just good clean, fine.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Gotta have that. You gotta have that enter team banter.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Mm hmm. I also remember being in an SEC championship
- 8:20Speaker 2: game where me and Sewn Jordan had to call a
- 8:22Speaker 2: place in the huddle. You did.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I was not in the huddle. You were not.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I did a good job, though, thank you, thank you.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I should have given the botto myself more and I'm
- 8:34Speaker 2: thinking about it. I'm calling the plays. Sorry, coach, misread
- 8:36Speaker 2: the signals. It's my bad. Mm hmm. We did run
- 8:42Speaker 2: speed option one time in that game with me. They
- 8:45Speaker 2: never saw that coming.
- 8:47Speaker 7: Probably twenty yards iber that speed option we ran against
- 8:50Speaker 7: Virginia attack with Keilan Williams went long way.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 7: I was thinking about it, like we were ran a
- 8:54Speaker 7: speed option into the boundary, which is probably not the
- 8:57Speaker 7: greatest call.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he probably wouldn't have had to hurdle the guy.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I pitched it like one and a half feet.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I was like, here you go.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We had so many plays up for that game that
- 9:10Speaker 2: like we never really came back to for the most part,
- 9:14Speaker 2: Like we didn't come back to that to like the
- 9:15Speaker 2: SEC Championship game. Like remember we ran like the the
- 9:19Speaker 2: middle screen like a little shovel pass with you. Yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 2: it was like thirty yard game. We never ran that
- 9:25Speaker 2: again the whole year. It's like a little door screen.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Did we I don't. I don't think we did. I
- 9:31Speaker 2: remember running that play like twice in my LSU career
- 9:34Speaker 2: and it scored against Alabama and six from like you know,
- 9:39Speaker 2: same like thirty out. Yeah, that was before then ran
- 9:44Speaker 2: Agagast Virginia attack. We got like twenty five thirty yards
- 9:47Speaker 2: and it's like Gary's like, yeah, that plays too good,
- 9:49Speaker 2: Let's get it out of here.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Miles and coach Studd had to get more powers in.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Last did Did you ever think we'd be talking about
- 10:01Speaker 2: LSU football fifteen eighteen years later and LSU would have
- 10:06Speaker 2: a season where they didn't run a single power.
- 10:10Speaker 7: We were quite shocked throughout the season. I don't know
- 10:12Speaker 7: if y'all. I don't know if y'all could tell God
- 10:17Speaker 7: I miss those days a couple months ago, just talking
- 10:20Speaker 7: trash about the offense.
- 10:22Speaker 5: We don't feel like we have the guards to be
- 10:24Speaker 5: able to get it done.
- 10:25Speaker 6: What that's insane?
- 10:28Speaker 2: Huh? To pool and hit somebody?
- 10:34Speaker 4: You don't have that?
- 10:35Speaker 2: You don't know if you don't.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Try, I don't try a single one.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, why don't you know?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Why don't you you.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Don't have something to run it on the players like
- 10:43Speaker 2: you open crossover kind of and hit color.
- 10:49Speaker 4: The guys that are on the full scholarship bad LSU. Yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 4: they can't run four yards and hit somebody. That's true.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And you're just kind of reading the guy that's coming
- 10:57Speaker 2: off the edge because they're going down, down and around anyway.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Anyway, good looking.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Turkey, God speed? What good look.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Turkey basketball fan?
- 11:11Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Oh that was good.
- 11:16Speaker 4: That was nice. And suff It's gonna be fun. It's
- 11:18Speaker 4: gonna be fun. It's gonna be good. Hey.
- 11:24Speaker 7: I just want to want everyone to know here, everyone
- 11:27Speaker 7: looks good in their baby pictures.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Adorable, adorable, absolutely hang on to them all.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Yet I just went through.
- 11:33Speaker 5: I just saw yours and I've seen mine.

- 24:19Speaker 2: that business. I want to see if he gets up
- 24:22Speaker 2: if he stops the conversation at the table to get
- 24:25Speaker 2: up and bringing them say, we're at.
- 24:27Speaker 3: My wedding, right you hear this?

- 25:26Speaker 4: When this song comes on, you don't even need dance lessons.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Cassie, being the dancer in the room, does this song
- 25:33Speaker 2: make you want to dance?
- 25:34Speaker 7: Not necessarily, You're just like with a group of people, like,
- 25:40Speaker 7: you're not doing moves, no potty berets out there, no
- 25:44Speaker 7: step ball changes. You're just like running in place, kicking.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I've been with this fool when he's done that same
- 25:56Speaker 2: move vibes.
- 25:58Speaker 7: This song is vibes. There's no dance moves. It's not
- 26:02Speaker 7: telling you to the left, to the left, it's not
- 26:04Speaker 7: doing that. You're just feeling it. You're feeling it deep with.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Have I told you the story about my wedding and
- 26:12Speaker 2: when we're at the rehearsal and what Flynn asked me?
- 26:14Speaker 5: I told you that.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Before, right, I don't remember.
- 26:19Speaker 2: I get We're in college, right l s U is
- 26:21Speaker 2: going into our senior year. It's in Shreeport, and we're
- 26:25Speaker 2: at the rehearsal, so I mean we're pocumented at this point,
- 26:27Speaker 2: like you've already got into talks and there and one
- 26:31Speaker 2: stink next to me say, hey.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Am I an usher? A groomsman in this deal?
- 26:38Speaker 3: You with the whole time, not knowing which ones I
- 26:41Speaker 3: had a good runner as an usher for a couple
- 26:43Speaker 3: of weddings previous.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's like you're a groomsman. Yeah, that's why you're standing
- 26:49Speaker 2: up here with me.
- 26:52Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I'm straight face, my sure a groomsman this deal?
- 26:55Speaker 3: You know, it really does feel like a question you
- 26:57Speaker 3: would ask the day before a wedding.
- 26:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I can see that.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Sure, well you're going into the rehearsal. I gotta figure
- 27:03Speaker 7: you know, I want to know your role.
- 27:05Speaker 6: You didn't know it the whole time. Then went overstep,
- 27:08Speaker 6: you know, like on the Bachelor trip or nothing. You
- 27:11Speaker 6: put it together.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Everybody was there like the bachel term was like leading
- 27:14Speaker 7: up to it was like weeks before.
- 27:17Speaker 6: So you were, you did the Bachelor trip, you did
- 27:20Speaker 6: the Bachelor thing, and you didn't know you were a groomsman.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Hey, look I.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Go on knowing him like you do. Now does it
- 27:26Speaker 2: surprise you?
- 27:27Speaker 4: I'm just going on. But I mean, there wasn't like
- 27:29Speaker 4: a sit down conversation had and.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Then we had just you know, some of our teammates
- 27:34Speaker 2: show up that it had a ucation the night before.
- 27:41Speaker 3: They were there with each other, or.
- 27:46Speaker 2: And there was a fisticuffs at a local establishment not
- 27:51Speaker 2: too far from here, and they drove up the day after.
- 27:54Speaker 6: You're not going to get in a fight the night
- 27:56Speaker 6: before a wedding.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Yeah, you see, Yeah, it was some fisty cups. Yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 7: I hold my arms like us. But also, Donnie Brook,
- 28:06Speaker 7: I do.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Remember the move that you just literally just showed all
- 28:10Speaker 2: of our viewers in my wedding as well.
- 28:13Speaker 6: Yeah, play shout out your wedding?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Probably oh yeah, probably my god?
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yeah, who probably did?
- 28:19Speaker 4: So's the guy that hates it had it played?
- 28:20Speaker 7: So I bet your wedding you might go up to
- 28:24Speaker 7: the DJ. Have you ever heard of my friend? His
- 28:26Speaker 7: name's George Washington. I'm as slade him a dollar bill.
- 28:30Speaker 6: A dollar bill. That's cheap, all right, bill, Well, I'm
- 28:35Speaker 6: at least a fiver.
- 28:37Speaker 7: I give him five, I give him ten. I'm a
- 28:38Speaker 7: he'll different tim box play shout he doesn't. I don't care.
- 28:41Speaker 7: I don't care what the bride says.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Well, yell at him.
- 28:46Speaker 4: No you're not.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I told you not to play shout.
- 28:50Speaker 7: You're not gonna because you're gonna be in the middle
- 28:51Speaker 7: of all the people that's jumping around waving your hands.

- 28:57Speaker 6: Let's speak?
- 28:57Speaker 7: What is the one song that they had in the
- 28:59Speaker 7: Mond of Wedding Receptions in the movie called wedding Crashers?
- 29:04Speaker 4: What is it? I'm sorry? Was it?
- 29:06Speaker 2: That's that's actually a really good point.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I can't.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I don't really have I don't have a rebuttal for
- 29:10Speaker 2: that one. That's pretty good point.

- 32:53Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves. It's off the
- 32:56Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 33:08Speaker 11: H wait, obviously, all right, real quick, I want to
- 33:28Speaker 11: tell you about something going on pretty special this month.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Our friends over at Pelican Roofing have kicked off the
- 33:34Speaker 2: third annual.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Run with Rufous fundraiser.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So every single day this month they're running a five
- 33:39Speaker 2: k in the Pelican mascot costume rufus to raise awareness
- 33:42Speaker 2: and money for someone in our community who needs it.
- 33:45Speaker 2: This year, they're raising funds for eleven year old Joel Muscovis,
- 33:49Speaker 2: who was tragically shot in the spine, leaving him paralyzed
- 33:52Speaker 2: from the neck down independent on a ventilator. So Joel
- 33:56Speaker 2: is currently undergoing stem cell treatments in his family is
- 33:59Speaker 2: working to raise money needed to continue those treatments this year,
- 34:03Speaker 2: which could help him regain some function there. So the
- 34:06Speaker 2: goal is forty thousand dollars and every single donation helps
- 34:10Speaker 2: Joel and his family keep fighting. If you want to help,
- 34:13Speaker 2: you can head over to Run with rufus dot com.
- 34:16Speaker 2: That's Run with rufus dot Com. You'll find the full
- 34:20Speaker 2: story in a direct link to donate again. That is
- 34:22Speaker 2: run with Rufus dot Com. Let's help this family any
- 34:26Speaker 2: way we can. All right, got gymnastics. We talked about
- 34:36Speaker 2: this weekend obviously coming up for the LSU Tigers against
- 34:39Speaker 2: the Florida Gators. Baseball against sack State coming up as well.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Any plans to go to the box this weekend.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to make my way out there. I
- 34:49Speaker 3: haven't been since opening weekend much.
- 34:53Speaker 5: That's like you there, Yeah.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I know, but then I was in New York and
- 34:55Speaker 3: then Galla, they were in Jacksonville, gallivant around New York.
- 35:03Speaker 2: We do need to kind of mention I know that.
- 35:08Speaker 2: You know. Softball had a tough go of it in
- 35:11Speaker 2: Clearwater going back to kind of the middle portion of February.
- 35:15Speaker 2: But after that game where they lost to UCLA, you
- 35:19Speaker 2: come back, You beat South Alabama, you beat Michigan State,
- 35:22Speaker 2: you beat Ull, you beat Michigan State again, you beat Howard,
- 35:25Speaker 2: you beat Macnice, you beat Nichols, you beat Memphis, you
- 35:28Speaker 2: a couple of times, you beat Iowa. So they've strung together,
- 35:32Speaker 2: you know, some wins here, got back on track a
- 35:35Speaker 2: little bit. Again. Wasn't great down in Clearwater, we know that,
- 35:39Speaker 2: but we got a great opportunity and a challenge starting tonight,
- 35:45Speaker 2: they're going on the road against the number one team
- 35:46Speaker 2: in the nation in the Tennessee Balls. First pitch going
- 35:51Speaker 2: to be five pm Central Time on Saturday. First pitch
- 35:54Speaker 2: going to be two pm Central Time, and then one
- 35:56Speaker 2: pm Central Time on Sunday. So challenge, but it's good
- 36:01Speaker 2: to see the softball team kind of get back on track,
- 36:04Speaker 2: because again, it would just was not pretty there in
- 36:07Speaker 2: clear Water.
- 36:08Speaker 3: The clear Water Invitational was, to say the least, disappointing,
- 36:13Speaker 3: like just to put it very bluntly, it was and
- 36:15Speaker 3: they have kind of shaken back a little bit. But
- 36:18Speaker 3: you're right, it is a huge challenge that you were
- 36:20Speaker 3: going on the road to Tennessee, number one team in
- 36:23Speaker 3: the country. They've got their ace, that's probably the best
- 36:27Speaker 3: pitcher in the country, Carlin Pickings. Yeah, Gas like literally
- 36:32Speaker 3: has the fastest. Yeah, it has the fastest pitch last
- 36:35Speaker 3: season in like the history.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Of the sport.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Yeah, So definitely gonna be a challenge.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Other than that, I meant, so big challenge for softball.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Yeah, starting SEC play, So it'll be good though.
- 36:55Speaker 6: We'll see what you.
- 36:57Speaker 7: Got planned for this weekend. UH Youth Baseball, Sir Youth Baseball,
- 37:02Speaker 7: where are we at.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Uh, let's see, the nine you lug Nuts are playing
- 37:06Speaker 2: a ten U tournament in Port Allen, Okay.
- 37:09Speaker 5: Then the twelve you lug Nuts are playing in Zachary.
- 37:11Speaker 2: All right, so we've got Fort Allen Zachary probably going
- 37:15Speaker 2: back and forth between the two. Good.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Good for y'all, Good for y'all. Well, we got our
- 37:18Speaker 7: first baseball game of this season tomorrow. We're playing over
- 37:21Speaker 7: at Healing Place. YEP, fantastic little league over there. It's
- 37:24Speaker 7: gonna be Hok's first year doing a kids pitch actually,
- 37:27Speaker 7: so big deal, big deal. I expect there to be
- 37:30Speaker 7: lots of strikeouts. I don't know how much bat hitting ball.
- 37:33Speaker 4: We'll see. We're going to figure it out.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Coach pitch, kid pitch, T ball.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Pitch.
- 37:40Speaker 7: Okay, so last year he could have done kid pitch,
- 37:42Speaker 7: but we did. We opted it. It was like, really
- 37:44Speaker 7: his first year to play since he played T ball,
- 37:47Speaker 7: but then he didn't want to play for a couple
- 37:48Speaker 7: of years. So I was like, now I'm not gonna
- 37:49Speaker 7: do kids pitch like first year out like so like
- 37:52Speaker 7: they had a machine pitch.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Fun it was great.
- 37:54Speaker 6: I had never heard of that.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Until Yeah, I had neither heard the machine pitch, but
- 37:58Speaker 2: ob pitch. So that's what we did before. Yeah, I
- 38:00Speaker 2: had never heard of coach pitch until we did coach pitch.
- 38:05Speaker 2: That did y'all do regular like the Little League? Growing
- 38:07Speaker 2: up Dixie? It was dick. Yeah, we did the good stuff.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Well where we played Dixie was I mean, I'm not trying.
- 38:15Speaker 2: It was like Dixie was better than Little League. Yeah,
- 38:18Speaker 2: I don't know where it was.
- 38:19Speaker 3: We had like select which they call like travel ball now, but.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Yeah, travel ball was not a thing. Yeah when we
- 38:25Speaker 2: were played, like you played Dixie and then you played
- 38:27Speaker 2: on your all Star team, and then your all Star
- 38:28Speaker 2: team went played and stayed if you want state, you
- 38:31Speaker 2: went and played in the World Series.
- 38:32Speaker 7: But like everything funnels at the end of the day,
- 38:35Speaker 7: funnels into the Little League tournament now, like you don't
- 38:39Speaker 7: have to be a part of a little league season
- 38:41Speaker 7: to be in the Little League tournament at the end?
- 38:44Speaker 2: Are you telling me? I don't know.
- 38:45Speaker 4: I think I've heard that.
- 38:47Speaker 7: I don't know that, but like, of course you get
- 38:49Speaker 7: the best teams out there playing in the Little League
- 38:50Speaker 7: World Series in the summer. So but I think that
- 38:53Speaker 7: is like I.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Think they got it to where the Little League is
- 38:57Speaker 2: so like not.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Many people play a Little League season or like the
- 39:01Speaker 7: actual league anymore.
- 39:02Speaker 4: I don't even know if it still exists.
- 39:03Speaker 7: I have no idea, but I think it's different rules
- 39:05Speaker 7: that other people can funnel into that into that series
- 39:09Speaker 7: or that system. Right, it's not gonna be like they're
- 39:11Speaker 7: not going to change the name of the Little League
- 39:13Speaker 7: World Series. But that's what we played growing up little League.
- 39:16Speaker 7: It was little League, and then you went to the
- 39:17Speaker 7: Little League All Stars and Tyler, we were We're the
- 39:21Speaker 7: big city in East Texas. So like they split us
- 39:23Speaker 7: up into three different All Star team Yeah yeah, oh yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 7: not even close. Bro dominate them, not even close. Go ahead,
- 39:35Speaker 7: keep talking. So we would always get split up in
- 39:37Speaker 7: a couple, but we'd always make a run.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Our team always would. We had some good but if
- 39:41Speaker 4: we could.
- 39:41Speaker 7: Bind all the Tyler and we would have had like
- 39:44Speaker 7: a really really solid score.
- 39:46Speaker 2: We split up like three four, got split up into
- 39:48Speaker 2: three All Star teams, and then like then you go
- 39:50Speaker 2: playing boser and like teams as well, so like Mendon,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I think was part of it too, and so we'd
- 39:55Speaker 2: all play a tournament.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Whoever won that went to state.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but to your point, like when we play a
- 40:00Speaker 2: team from state like Saint Charles would have one team, right,
- 40:05Speaker 2: A bunch of two would have one team, or you know,
- 40:07Speaker 2: we were split into three teams and then the best
- 40:09Speaker 2: of that, you know, so it would have been nice
- 40:11Speaker 2: to be all one team.
- 40:12Speaker 4: It would have been nice.
- 40:14Speaker 2: The city of Tyler, Texas, has an estimated population of
- 40:17Speaker 2: approximately one hundred and ten thousand to one hundred and
- 40:19Speaker 2: twelve thousand.
- 40:20Speaker 7: Yeah, when I was growing, I was kind of because
- 40:22Speaker 7: I was grown. That was like seventy five thousand, seventy
- 40:24Speaker 7: four thousand.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Don't worry about to get long view.
- 40:27Speaker 2: You're right, eighty two thousand, I mean, shocker, I'm right, God,
- 40:34Speaker 2: I bet minds. But where I grew up used to
- 40:37Speaker 2: be a lot. It's probably not anymore. One hundred and
- 40:42Speaker 2: eighty seven thousand. He used to be like two oh boy.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Thank god for Fitty Yeah.
- 40:54Speaker 5: No kidding street for Bosire Metro three hundred and nine thousand.
- 40:58Speaker 4: There we go.
- 41:02Speaker 2: The one water park they closed, Matt, Thank god, it
- 41:06Speaker 2: just did. They forgot to tell you my little brother
- 41:09Speaker 2: got to smell, and I forgot to tell you.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Should have been my first call.
- 41:13Speaker 4: I should have been.
- 41:14Speaker 2: It was a welcome to the city for you, it
- 41:16Speaker 2: was the welcome you know you were Louisiana when you
- 41:19Speaker 2: saw the water.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Park right side of right side of out twenty. Yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 4: I saw it.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I was like, oh so I just looked at it.
- 41:26Speaker 3: When I was growing up in Round Rock, there was
- 41:27Speaker 3: less than one hundred thousand people there. Oh no, Now
- 41:30Speaker 3: it has one hundred and forty.
- 41:32Speaker 4: I say, yeah, that's like the spillover from Austin there.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Yeah it is, and it's spilling over into like Huddo
- 41:37Speaker 3: and stuff like that too.
- 41:38Speaker 6: But like I see it when I go there, it disgusts.
- 41:42Speaker 7: Me that Tyler's going a lot to like white House.
- 41:44Speaker 7: Would that's where Mahomes is from. And like my son
- 41:48Speaker 7: was like, did you know that Patrick Mahomes are from Tyler.
- 41:50Speaker 7: I saw it on a YouTube video and I'm like, no, son,
- 41:52Speaker 7: he's from white House. Yeah, they say Tyler now because
- 41:55Speaker 7: like there used to be like a city of Tyler.
- 41:56Speaker 7: Then you got like a stretch of like undeveloped, and
- 42:00Speaker 7: then he went to like the small city of white House.
- 42:02Speaker 7: Now it's just kind of like all together together. Joel's
- 42:05Speaker 7: from there too, right, Yeah, he didn't play like his
- 42:08Speaker 7: late high school, but he grew up there, as I remember,
- 42:10Speaker 7: because I think you said he was like the ball boy.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Yet, dude, he loved you. I saw him at Manning
- 42:15Speaker 2: Passing Academy, the same one that he got kicked out of,
- 42:18Speaker 2: and before he got kicked out, he was like, dude,
- 42:20Speaker 2: you're going to play with met Flynn. Dude, I was
- 42:22Speaker 2: like the bull boy for his team. It's like, I
- 42:24Speaker 2: love that guys like Matt Flynn what pretty much molded
- 42:29Speaker 2: his game after off the field. Jeez, respect, you had
- 42:38Speaker 2: a lot of fun he did. Still was a great time.
- 42:42Speaker 2: It's a good time here for a long time. Yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 2: good for a good time. Why don't those guys go
- 42:50Speaker 2: to Tyler League anymore? That's a good question. Legacy Tyler Legacy,
- 42:56Speaker 2: that's a bad name. I don't know.
- 43:02Speaker 4: I think some people go there's not as good anymore.
- 43:04Speaker 4: I don't know. That's what we used to.
- 43:06Speaker 2: We had five sixty ones every year for a stretch
- 43:09Speaker 2: of time.
- 43:11Speaker 7: I think a lot more people will do private school,
- 43:14Speaker 7: I believe over there, which was not like nobody went
- 43:16Speaker 7: to private school when I was grown up.
- 43:18Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I honestly don't know.
- 43:22Speaker 7: Maybe just people aren't playing, Maybe they're different water than Tyler.
