- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god. First of all, I owe you
- 0:10Speaker 1: guys such a huge apology. Not the listeners I'm talking
- 0:13Speaker 1: to Joel Daniel and Zach Yo. I tried to get
- 0:17Speaker 1: away with something, and I almost did if it wasn't
- 0:21Speaker 1: for these pesky little kids. Dude. I went and saw
- 0:29Speaker 1: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness right before our
- 0:32Speaker 1: podcast today, and I had it down to the minute
- 0:37Speaker 1: of when I was going to arrive back here. That's
- 0:39Speaker 1: why Casey called and was like, Yo, he needs fifteen minutes.
- 0:43Speaker 1: That's why she gave that shit early on she predicted.
- 0:46Speaker 1: She was like, oh, you need this fifteen minutes. She
- 0:48Speaker 1: rushed upstairs. It'll be fine, dude. I sit down. It
- 0:52Speaker 1: is one fourteen. I'm like, I fucking did it. Bam,
- 1:00Speaker 1: computers dead. It's now one forty nine. That's how long
- 1:05Speaker 1: it took from my computer to power up. So how
- 1:07Speaker 1: was your movie? We can at least talk about your
- 1:09Speaker 1: movie or thumbs down. How was it all? Right? So
- 1:14Speaker 1: not a lot of people are talking about this movie,
- 1:16Speaker 1: as you guys know, I don't know because I don't
- 1:19Speaker 1: follow I don't follow this well. You know, usually when
- 1:22Speaker 1: usually when a Marvel movie comes out, everybody, Like when
- 1:26Speaker 1: Spider Man came out, everybody was like, no spoilers, go
- 1:30Speaker 1: see Spider Man. Right, I'm not gonna give away any
- 1:35Speaker 1: spoilers because there's some really fucking great spoilers. Some of
- 1:39Speaker 1: the stuff that you are, you guys probably already know
- 1:42Speaker 1: from just the commercial alone, you know what I mean.
- 1:45Speaker 1: M I'll let you guys the next time we talk,
- 1:49Speaker 1: because this will be a part tour because we didn't
- 1:52Speaker 1: get to do the episode and but we're still recording this.
- 1:54Speaker 1: We'll talk about this when I see you guys later. Joel,
- 1:58Speaker 1: did you see it yet? I've seen it twice. You
- 2:00Speaker 1: see the swice Okay press screening, and then my guys
- 2:03Speaker 1: wanted to see it last night. And so you might
- 2:06Speaker 1: be on the same page that I'm on with this
- 2:08Speaker 1: whole thing. My wife is on the same My wife
- 2:12Speaker 1: is on the same page that I'm on with this too.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I think has to go see all these movies, no doubt,
- 2:18Speaker 1: many dude. Let me tell you something right now. I
- 2:20Speaker 1: gotta figure out something. Yeah, you gotta you gotta bring
- 2:23Speaker 1: her to a nice rom com. No, it's not a
- 2:26Speaker 1: rom com, man, you know, my wife is the bomb,
- 2:29Speaker 1: like she is the bomb on levels that the bomb
- 2:33Speaker 1: doesn't like. I don't even look. She is everything that
- 2:37Speaker 1: I have in my life right now. All the happiness
- 2:40Speaker 1: that I have in my life right now is because
- 2:42Speaker 1: of Casey Cobb. You know what I mean, My children,
- 2:46Speaker 1: my wife, my my my life, my marriage, you know
- 2:49Speaker 1: what I mean, my sex life. All of these things
- 2:51Speaker 1: that are fucking prospering right now are because of the
- 2:58Speaker 1: greatness that is my wife. Yeah, you really to figure
- 3:01Speaker 1: out I did, and I need to figure out a
- 3:02Speaker 1: way to freaking return to favor, man, like for real,
- 3:05Speaker 1: Like I know she's starting to feel it's a mother's day.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Mother's day, you better bring it, dude. She's bouncing, she's
- 3:13Speaker 1: going to the outlets to shop with her girlfriend and
- 3:15Speaker 1: stuff like that. When she comes home, there better be
- 3:18Speaker 1: something shining, bro, Dude, That's what I'm trying to say.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Like I can't buy her. I can't like there's not
- 3:24Speaker 1: enough money to pay for what. It's not the expensive thing,
- 3:28Speaker 1: it's the toke, It's the it's the thought. It's the
- 3:31Speaker 1: thing that's like not just like I phoned it in
- 3:33Speaker 1: and got you fucking flowers. You got to do something.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I mean, no offense that all the people that are
- 3:37Speaker 1: going to do that. But I'm saying, since you're saying
- 3:40Speaker 1: all these lovely things, you should consider something super thoughtful
- 3:44Speaker 1: that it's not just like, oh, I just bought this thing. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 1: no doubt. I tried to get the Four Seasons Brunch
- 3:49Speaker 1: like three weeks ago, and that ship was sold out
- 3:52Speaker 1: to Yeah, three weeks ago. I tried to get it
- 3:56Speaker 1: in and was sold out. Like I thought, I was
- 3:57Speaker 1: thinking ahead, like I was like, I'm on top as
- 4:00Speaker 1: ship this year, you know what I mean? And there
- 4:03Speaker 1: places for b Yeah, but no, no, no, there's not
- 4:06Speaker 1: really man, let's keep it one hundred man, that four
- 4:08Speaker 1: Seasons Brunch. How about you make her breakfast in bed?
- 4:11Speaker 1: Oh come on, buddy, what what that's not good? Yuh man.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You can make a pancake. I can make a lot
- 4:19Speaker 1: of things that's not necessarily you know what I'm gonna.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I am gonna do that though. You know, it's cute,
- 4:24Speaker 1: even though like when you see it in the movies,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's cute, like the kids and dad, they all did it. Mom,
- 4:28Speaker 1: you stay in bed and then they all bring breakfast
- 4:30Speaker 1: in bed. Mood in the movies looks so much better
- 4:33Speaker 1: and it comes in abundant, saying the gesture. I bet
- 4:36Speaker 1: you Casey would love the gesture. Yeah, I do think,
- 4:39Speaker 1: I do think. I do think she would love it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: For like five seconds, she'd be like, that's cute, but
- 4:44Speaker 1: then she'd be like, I'm not eating this shit in
- 4:45Speaker 1: my bed on the sheets. I don't want to. This
- 4:50Speaker 1: will mess up my bed. I don't want to do that.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Get her another weekend away. I saw this funny name
- 4:55Speaker 1: that was like a couple. I'm like think the girl
- 4:56Speaker 1: was like acting. She's like, this is this is this
- 4:58Speaker 1: is what I call like a night with my man.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And she's like all seductively laying out a towel like
- 5:04Speaker 1: on the bed and like and like clearly like she
- 5:08Speaker 1: doesn't want to get anything sexual on the bed and
- 5:10Speaker 1: she's spreading it out with this sexy face. And then
- 5:12Speaker 1: it hard cuts them eating like fast food in bed,
- 5:16Speaker 1: that's pretty dope. My wife don't play that shit. My wife,
- 5:21Speaker 1: don't play that shit. She's like, no, no, no no, no, Donald, Miami,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Miami's growing on me. I gotta tell you you love Florida,
- 5:27Speaker 1: don't you. No. I don't love Florida, and I and
- 5:29Speaker 1: I would never want to live here. But Miami Beach
- 5:32Speaker 1: is a fun place to visit. It's it's the water
- 5:34Speaker 1: is It's not like the Pacific. It's like pool water.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's blue, it is turquoise and warm as a pool. Wow.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's when it's like the pool at your house. It's
- 5:46Speaker 1: not as warm as the pool in my house, but
- 5:48Speaker 1: it's warm and it's beautiful, and there's so many fancy,
- 5:52Speaker 1: nice restaurants, and uh, it's a great place to visit.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I would not want to live here. Also, boats, I
- 5:59Speaker 1: love boats, and I've been invited on a couple of boats.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about a fishing boat. I know
- 6:04Speaker 1: you want to be like in a chair, like trying
- 6:06Speaker 1: to pull in a marlin with Miami Vice. Didn't you
- 6:09Speaker 1: you fucking with Miami Vice. No. I got invited on
- 6:12Speaker 1: some nice yachts, not like not like mega giant epic ones,
- 6:16Speaker 1: but like pretty big ones, and they're beautiful, and I
- 6:20Speaker 1: just like, yeah, I like this life. You didn't get
- 6:24Speaker 1: on a cigarette boat? No, I don't want that. I like.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I like a boat where someone's gonna bring me a
- 6:28Speaker 1: rose and I can stand on the bow. You remember
- 6:31Speaker 1: that SNL thing. I'm on a boat? Yeah, man, like
- 6:35Speaker 1: that I Warnever i'm on a boat, I feel like
- 6:37Speaker 1: I feel like that song. All right, So look, I
- 6:41Speaker 1: think you're your idea is being in the chair trying
- 6:44Speaker 1: to get a marlin. No, no, no, because if you
- 6:46Speaker 1: can't eat it, I'm not fishing for it. You know
- 6:48Speaker 1: what I mean? Well, don't you release a marlin when
- 6:50Speaker 1: you catch? Some people mounted on their wall? I guess, yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: if I'm fishing, it's to eat whatever fish I catch,
- 6:58Speaker 1: because I'm not. That's I mean, that is at least
- 7:01Speaker 1: I think that's a better one. I'm be saying. If
- 7:03Speaker 1: you and I were in Miami together and I said, Donald,
- 7:06Speaker 1: god the dreams that let's charter a boat together, let
- 7:10Speaker 1: me feel like we would disagree because you'd want the
- 7:13Speaker 1: one with the chair. No no, no, no, no no no.
- 7:15Speaker 1: My fishing days are over. I would prefer after c spiracy.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I would prefer to be on a boat and chill on.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I prefer to chill on a yacht champagne, eat peanut
- 7:26Speaker 1: butter and jellies on the bow. You know what I mean?
- 7:29Speaker 1: These are me say, the most ballert thing this guy.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I met a very wealthy guy on here and his
- 7:34Speaker 1: boat was gorgeous, but it wasn't even huge. It was
- 7:37Speaker 1: like maybe it was sixty feet. I don't mean to
- 7:40Speaker 1: say that that's not big. It was a big, beautiful boat.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But I was like, oh, it's too bad. There's no
- 7:45Speaker 1: um there's no um jet ski on this boat, like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: you know, because I love what wave runner thing because
- 7:51Speaker 1: those are something so fun. And the captain's like, oh,
- 7:54Speaker 1: we have a jet boat. I'm like, what where's that?
- 7:57Speaker 1: He opens the fucking trunk and goes gee and like
- 8:01Speaker 1: some James Bond shit, a fucking mini jet boat comes
- 8:06Speaker 1: out of the back. That's so cool. I know you
- 8:09Speaker 1: heard what. I can feel it. Come in the night. Listen.
- 8:19Speaker 1: If you're in Miami and you have a dope, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: want to come and I will bring laughter. I want
- 8:26Speaker 1: to be invited. I've been waiting rose. Oh of my love.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'll be your court jester. I'll bring a bottle of rose.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Oh no oh, Donald. The little boat gave birth to
- 8:42Speaker 1: a smaller boat. It was like the Russian dolls. And
- 8:47Speaker 1: I was like, there's a lot. There's a tinier boat
- 8:49Speaker 1: come out of that little boat. It was nice, though.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I liked one time in Miami was fucking fire man.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It's like you get on a boat. I got. I
- 9:00Speaker 1: got on a cigarette boat. It was one of the
- 9:02Speaker 1: best times in my life. They have those for the tourists.
- 9:04Speaker 1: They have like it always goes by the beach. Do
- 9:07Speaker 1: you have these like you can see this snow. This
- 9:10Speaker 1: dude owned the cigarette. You were like a real one,
- 9:13Speaker 1: like somebody's actual jump off and it was fire man Like. Okay,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna name drop because it's one of the best
- 9:22Speaker 1: weekends of my life. But I spent the weekend with
- 9:25Speaker 1: no Vinny Learsca. He's the one invited me because I
- 9:30Speaker 1: was going out there to do a dj AM and
- 9:33Speaker 1: I were hosting a I think it was like a
- 9:38Speaker 1: fashion show or something. This weekend. It was fourth of
- 9:41Speaker 1: July weekend in Miami and DJAM when I were hosting it,
- 9:45Speaker 1: he was DJ and I'm on the stage hosting the ship.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And when I get there, I run into Vinny Learsca,
- 9:51Speaker 1: one of the one of my buddies from high school.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I've known him, and he's like, yo, you should come
- 9:55Speaker 1: hang out with us, and I'm like us, who's us?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Right here you go It's me Leo Toby Ethan and
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm like Leonardo DiCaprio we were with the puzz I
- 10:07Speaker 1: was like Leonardo DiCaprio and he goes yeah, and I'm
- 10:11Speaker 1: like all right, bet. And so that weekend fourth the
- 10:15Speaker 1: July weekend, best weekend of my life? Did you get
- 10:18Speaker 1: to drive the cigarette book? I did not get to
- 10:20Speaker 1: drive the cigarette book, but like yo, it was. It
- 10:22Speaker 1: was a bunch of us and we played I remember
- 10:25Speaker 1: we played this. We played basketball and against some cats
- 10:29Speaker 1: in Miami and we won, and like life was, life
- 10:33Speaker 1: was very nice that weekend. There was there was There
- 10:36Speaker 1: was another time I was in Miami. Also I played
- 10:39Speaker 1: for a challenge for the children in Sincs challenge for
- 10:42Speaker 1: the children in Miami. I think that was Orlando. Actually
- 10:45Speaker 1: Miami was fired though. I know, but that's when you're
- 10:48Speaker 1: young and you're going to clubs like I have no
- 10:50Speaker 1: I mean, I fell on the table. I was on
- 10:53Speaker 1: the table and I fell back and Leo caught me.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It was the best night of my life, dude. It
- 10:59Speaker 1: was the best night. They have a lot of clubs here,
- 11:01Speaker 1: but I'm not I'm not going to the clubs. Although
- 11:03Speaker 1: it's a one weekend. If everyone I'm with ends up
- 11:06Speaker 1: at the club, maybe I'll go. But I think I'd
- 11:08Speaker 1: be in the fucking hell at the club. Oh dude,
- 11:11Speaker 1: it's Miami. Every you're forty years old in Miami. That's
- 11:14Speaker 1: like forty seven years old in Miami. That's like twenty
- 11:18Speaker 1: years old in La. Man, Like everybody's in the club,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and I know it's the only thing people do, and
- 11:23Speaker 1: they do it so late. I'm like, it's so late.
- 11:25Speaker 1: They don't give they're on that lifestyle there. The clubs
- 11:28Speaker 1: don't close. I just saw a guy walking down the
- 11:30Speaker 1: street trying to get people to come to it, to
- 11:32Speaker 1: a club. He's like like walking down the street like
- 11:34Speaker 1: yelling to everyone at the beach. He's like, I just
- 11:36Speaker 1: see you know, we never close. We are open three
- 11:42Speaker 1: sixty five, twenty four or seven. That's what's up. No,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you never on. You can be on the they're on
- 11:49Speaker 1: a Monday wasted fucking dancing, but as long as asday,
- 11:52Speaker 1: like Monday at like noon. But that's the thing is that.
- 11:56Speaker 1: What's the music? Like? Like, you know what I don't need?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Is it a Latin group? I'm sure you need to investigate.
- 12:01Speaker 1: B I don't go to the humming ing ding dinging.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's how I'm good. You got. I'm happy you got
- 12:09Speaker 1: to Ding Ding. You know they have all these um
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, if you've me, there's NonStop banners when you're
- 12:17Speaker 1: on the beach going by about what DJ oh you
- 12:19Speaker 1: love this? Donald? There's a club here that that's like half.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm told it's called Club eleven. It's like part strip club,
- 12:26Speaker 1: part regular club. And Snoop Dogg is the host tonight.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And this banner keeps going on on the Snoop Dogs
- 12:33Speaker 1: older than you, and he's up in the club, dude,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but he say you need to be up in the
- 12:38Speaker 1: club with Snoop dog y'all can smoke some all I
- 12:41Speaker 1: all I thought was Snoop Dogs, See you would be
- 12:43Speaker 1: like yo, Zach Slaggity diggity come to the stage, nephew. No,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I'm on the beach. I'm on the beach. And I
- 12:51Speaker 1: had heard about this Club eleven and it says Snoop
- 12:54Speaker 1: Doggs the host tonight, and I thought of Joel and Donald.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I was like, Joelle and Donald would love this. He
- 12:59Speaker 1: actually DJ Janne would probably love it too. M DJ Daniel,
- 13:03Speaker 1: Do you partake in the marijuana the way Joel and
- 13:05Speaker 1: I do? Yeah? Wait, hold on, we partake in a
- 13:11Speaker 1: very unhealthy way. Like, it's almost unhealthy. As much as
- 13:14Speaker 1: we part to like, I've had battles with like bronchial
- 13:17Speaker 1: issues because I've smoked too much weed. You two, Yes,
- 13:22Speaker 1: we need to get together, Daniel. Why aren't we kicking
- 13:25Speaker 1: it more man like? We have the same things in common.
- 13:28Speaker 1: We need to be around like minded people. I can
- 13:30Speaker 1: smoke you down. You know what I'm saying. You know shit,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I'll smoke your weed like animal face, Daniel. Do you
- 13:37Speaker 1: like animal face? I've never tried it, but let me
- 13:40Speaker 1: tell you something. I'll roll some up. Yeah. Oh no,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I don't want to share. I don't share weed. No
- 13:45Speaker 1: more like that. We can do personals. We can do
- 13:46Speaker 1: person yea, yeah, yeah, because yeah, because of COVID, I
- 13:53Speaker 1: don't need to put your spit in my spit together.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I know how. You know, unless we kissing and you've
- 14:00Speaker 1: been tested, I know how COVID passes. All right, it's droplets.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Let's do since we're already do it count In. We're
- 14:08Speaker 1: gonna do a show. It's a weird show because it's
- 14:10Speaker 1: a clip show. And I said to Donald, why the
- 14:12Speaker 1: fuck are we doing a clip show? And he said,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I want to do a clip show. You know why.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So it's going to be a short episode, because how
- 14:19Speaker 1: the fuck do you review a clip show? Five six,
- 14:22Speaker 1: seven eight. Here's some stories about show we made about
- 14:31Speaker 1: a bunch of doctor nurses. I said, he's a stories.
- 14:40Speaker 1: So get around here, yeato around here. M yeah, I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: gonna tell you something right now. I will give it
- 14:53Speaker 1: to Bill Lawrence and the team of writers to from
- 14:56Speaker 1: take to take a tiny little story and put clips
- 15:01Speaker 1: around it and still give you the emotional value at
- 15:04Speaker 1: the end you still have the I laughed. I smiled,
- 15:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, these guys are having such a great time.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Holy cow, this is oh wow, this is you know
- 15:14Speaker 1: what I mean. We address how you go into your mind,
- 15:17Speaker 1: We go into our mind. It takes us places that
- 15:20Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It's just it was a
- 15:21Speaker 1: great way to put a clip show together, other than
- 15:25Speaker 1: us sitting on the couch and being like remember that
- 15:28Speaker 1: time when j D You know what I mean, Like
- 15:31Speaker 1: how all of the clip shows are the only thing
- 15:33Speaker 1: if you're if you're an audience member, a clip show
- 15:36Speaker 1: is so stupid. By the way, I read on Scrubs Wiki,
- 15:38Speaker 1: this is the lowest rated Scrubs episode because there's only
- 15:44Speaker 1: seven minutes of original content in which JOHNNYC has a
- 15:48Speaker 1: bald head and looks like, yeah. It said something about
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think I think this got thrown out of order.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I think Scrubs WICKI mentions that too, that because they've
- 15:57Speaker 1: got thrown out of order somewhere else. That's explained why
- 16:00Speaker 1: Johnny sees bald. They never explained why John C. I
- 16:03Speaker 1: don't think they did. I'm saying Bill had to explain
- 16:06Speaker 1: why Johnny C was bald. But I think don't mean
- 16:10Speaker 1: to read you what it says on the Scrubs WI,
- 16:12Speaker 1: please don't see you fucking never listen to me. I
- 16:14Speaker 1: want to remember why John C. What I want to
- 16:17Speaker 1: know why John C McGinley got bald. It says, Um,
- 16:20Speaker 1: here's a couple of things. Um, it took Normally it
- 16:24Speaker 1: takes five days to shooting episode of Scrubs. This one
- 16:26Speaker 1: took three. I don't know how it took three to
- 16:28Speaker 1: shoot what we had, Okay. JD says that todaydream you
- 16:31Speaker 1: have to chilt your head to the to the left,
- 16:34Speaker 1: which would be the audience's right, which he demonstrates for
- 16:37Speaker 1: the group, but in other daydream scenes he more commonly
- 16:40Speaker 1: tilts his head to the right, are left, that's right, right,
- 16:46Speaker 1: that's actually just right. Here you go. In this episode,
- 16:49Speaker 1: doctor Cox has a shaved head. In the following episode
- 16:53Speaker 1: My fish Bowl, he has curly hair again because the
- 16:56Speaker 1: episodes were showing out of order. Randall Winston say in
- 17:00Speaker 1: the DVD commentary that the bald head would be explained
- 17:03Speaker 1: in a future episode. So that's all I know. I
- 17:06Speaker 1: don't think it ever was all I know all that
- 17:09Speaker 1: you had utters and that was so gross. I almost
- 17:11Speaker 1: want I want to And you drank from them too.
- 17:14Speaker 1: It's like and I nutted in your coff it was
- 17:17Speaker 1: so fat. Yeah, it was like it wasn't like it
- 17:20Speaker 1: didn't even look like utters. It looked like four peniss Yeah,
- 17:24Speaker 1: it would have been bad if you were to put
- 17:25Speaker 1: your mouth on it and sucked it. I'm glad enough
- 17:31Speaker 1: to do that. But um, it did look like I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: not gonna lie, um if your kids are in the
- 17:37Speaker 1: car or listening, um your muffs, I'm gonna say. I'm
- 17:41Speaker 1: gonna say it. Well, it did look like you were
- 17:45Speaker 1: using your human faculties that are designed to fertilize an
- 17:50Speaker 1: egg and and not. It didn't look like No, it
- 17:58Speaker 1: looked like you were pouring seed into my car and
- 18:09Speaker 1: then you drank it. And then after that, I sliced
- 18:12Speaker 1: a piece of my back off, whether my back or
- 18:15Speaker 1: my butt. I don't know where's bacon from this well,
- 18:17Speaker 1: part of the bottle, but it's the back, it's all.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It's all right. Well, you sliced off a piece of
- 18:24Speaker 1: your ass and then and then brought up two pieces
- 18:27Speaker 1: of bacon. Yeah. Oh, we would have fun. We would
- 18:31Speaker 1: have so much you know the best thing about Turk
- 18:33Speaker 1: and j D would have so much fun with that.
- 18:35Speaker 1: The best thing about a clip show for an actor
- 18:37Speaker 1: is because you know, Turk would shit an egg. You know,
- 18:39Speaker 1: he would shit an egg. Keep it one, d. Well,
- 18:42Speaker 1: we're getting to a point where you have a testicle
- 18:46Speaker 1: that provides warmth. Yeah, and we all gather around to
- 18:51Speaker 1: stay warm. I laughed at the fact. So kelsos On
- 19:00Speaker 1: Harrison has a new boyfriend and he owns a Cinnabon franchise,
- 19:05Speaker 1: and that, as a result, has um left Kelso a
- 19:08Speaker 1: little bit heavier than he usually is. But Kelso also
- 19:12Speaker 1: knew the boyfriend's name, Kenny. I mean this progress in
- 19:16Speaker 1: the relationship. He's learning the names. Well, he's learning a
- 19:19Speaker 1: name because he owns a cinnabon. Yeah, listen, cinnabon. He's
- 19:22Speaker 1: the greatest tasting thing in the world, isn't it. You
- 19:25Speaker 1: could eat that all day? You know what. Also, it's
- 19:27Speaker 1: great Wetsalls pretzels. My kids go nuts. If we go
- 19:30Speaker 1: to a mall and like the grove or something like
- 19:34Speaker 1: that and there's Wetzels Pretzels, they're like, is it's it's
- 19:38Speaker 1: either that one or what's the other one that they
- 19:40Speaker 1: have where it's like this, it's Wetzels Pretzels. Is there
- 19:44Speaker 1: another one pretzel? Please? So it's just Wetzels Pretzels. If
- 19:49Speaker 1: there's a Wetzels Pretzels, there's my kids go nuts for it. Well,
- 19:53Speaker 1: all I can tell you is that I don't need
- 19:55Speaker 1: cinnabon anymore. But when I did, yeah, I remember thinking,
- 19:59Speaker 1: how could something to it's better than this? Yeah, especial,
- 20:02Speaker 1: especial when you're high, if you were ever someone who's high.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I don't get high that much, I like anymore. It's
- 20:10Speaker 1: like pubcakes or I prefer a cupcake. I'm gonna be
- 20:14Speaker 1: honest with you, Zach, I don't get high that much anymore.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Are you lying? I'm looking for the weed that's going
- 20:20Speaker 1: get me high. Now I've smoke so much. Oh, I
- 20:23Speaker 1: see what's happened. You just gained a tolerance to be
- 20:26Speaker 1: normal to that shatter wax. Oh, holy cat, let's get
- 20:33Speaker 1: into it. No, we're not getting into that. No, No,
- 20:36Speaker 1: these people didn't tune in for how to how to
- 20:38Speaker 1: Get High because you're so used to your marijuana podcast.
- 20:44Speaker 1: It's a clip show, I know, audience, we do have
- 20:47Speaker 1: to tell you. We have to fill this moment a
- 20:49Speaker 1: lot of just shooting the ship because it's a clip show.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I mean, how do I talk about a montage of
- 20:54Speaker 1: physical comedy? I don't know. All I can tell you
- 20:59Speaker 1: is that, well, all I can tell you is that
- 21:01Speaker 1: when when when you made enough episodes to get a
- 21:05Speaker 1: clip show, you're stoked because they pay you the same
- 21:07Speaker 1: amount of money, but you don't really do anything. Well,
- 21:10Speaker 1: not just that, I mean if you really watch, if
- 21:12Speaker 1: you watched it like we did, don't skip this. First
- 21:16Speaker 1: of all, don't skip it. You could tell we're having
- 21:18Speaker 1: such a good time, like we did a lot of
- 21:21Speaker 1: really cool things. And I'm my idol Indiana Jones, you
- 21:25Speaker 1: know what I mean. I'm also my other idol, Han Solo.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You know what I mean like, there's there's so many
- 21:31Speaker 1: things that happen. You're running around in so many prosthetics.
- 21:35Speaker 1: It's ridiculous. I know it's I like I like from
- 21:38Speaker 1: we can talk about the seven minutes of original content.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I like that I that I make a joke about
- 21:42Speaker 1: the very idea of a clip show. I see like
- 21:44Speaker 1: some clip show from a bad sitcom, too lazy to
- 21:47Speaker 1: come up with a fresh story like that. I like
- 21:50Speaker 1: the metainess of making fun of ourselves. Yeah, and we
- 21:53Speaker 1: do it, and we do it often. By the way
- 21:56Speaker 1: that one of the funniest of that that that physical
- 21:59Speaker 1: comedy montage is the cowboy switch we did with Ken.
- 22:02Speaker 1: That was about to say, that's the greatest. To remind
- 22:05Speaker 1: you audience members who don't know what that is, that's
- 22:07Speaker 1: when the stuntman does the camera doesn't cut, but Ken's
- 22:10Speaker 1: hiding like right below the lens, right so the car's coming.
- 22:13Speaker 1: The stunt man does that insane fall roll out of
- 22:16Speaker 1: the car off camera, and then Ken just stands up
- 22:19Speaker 1: and it's so seamless. It's one of the best. It's
- 22:22Speaker 1: one of the best physical comedy moments in Scrub's history.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think it's probably the best
- 22:28Speaker 1: because you really believe that that only the best is
- 22:31Speaker 1: the best is me going underwater in the scooter. That's
- 22:33Speaker 1: how they well, that's how they started. So they started
- 22:36Speaker 1: with that one, ended with and ended with him like
- 22:39Speaker 1: those are the two best for sure. UM. I liked
- 22:42Speaker 1: when I said whenever I think about whenever I think
- 22:45Speaker 1: about these memories, um, the phrase is playing and then
- 22:50Speaker 1: the phrase song starts playing this phrase sorry. Yeah, And
- 22:57Speaker 1: that was a great thing. That was. That's another great
- 22:59Speaker 1: thing about this show. We talk about it a lot,
- 23:01Speaker 1: and we you know, we have great music all the time.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But you know, if you're invested the way because we
- 23:10Speaker 1: watch it and we're invested, these musical montages meant everything
- 23:17Speaker 1: if you're a fan of the show, because it not
- 23:19Speaker 1: only gives you the feel of the show because you've
- 23:21Speaker 1: heard these songs that we play on it, but also
- 23:25Speaker 1: you're going through these wonderful moments with the characters, and
- 23:28Speaker 1: at the end when Raidin plays you feel sad. Again.
- 23:32Speaker 1: It's amazing that no matter how many fucking times I
- 23:35Speaker 1: hear that where do you think we are? I get
- 23:38Speaker 1: full body goose bumps. And I've seen it nine zillion times.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I got full body goose bumps when you hear raidin playing,
- 23:47Speaker 1: and then winter and then where do you think we are? Dude?
- 23:53Speaker 1: And then we go through the deaths. Yeah, there's like
- 23:56Speaker 1: different themes. There's like the dancing montage. There's the uh
- 24:01Speaker 1: wacky fantasy montage. I really liked me as the pro
- 24:05Speaker 1: wrestler saying I'm gonna Probia because I and I love
- 24:13Speaker 1: our pistru. I mean, our pimp strut is one of
- 24:15Speaker 1: my favorite fantasies we ever did. I say, I'm trying
- 24:19Speaker 1: to advise you, guys, how you can fantasy size, and
- 24:22Speaker 1: I say, all you have to do is tilt your
- 24:24Speaker 1: head to the left and let your mind run free
- 24:27Speaker 1: like an eagle. There's so many great there's so many.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I didn't know that I didn't know that Elliott's first
- 24:38Speaker 1: sex dream was mister Hooper choking her. Well, bro, that
- 24:42Speaker 1: makes sense. It tracts, I guess, so I don't think
- 24:46Speaker 1: mister Hooper whatever whatever whatever do that in real life.
- 24:50Speaker 1: It didn't. He just pass mister Hooper. Mister Hooper passed
- 24:55Speaker 1: when we were kids. Dude. Wait, a famous beloved Sesame
- 24:59Speaker 1: Street character who's a real human being just passed away. Joel,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you're on it. I am on it. Yeah, the guy
- 25:07Speaker 1: who played mister Hooper dead in nineteen eighty two. It
- 25:09Speaker 1: is a very interesting story point that a suicidal guy
- 25:13Speaker 1: doesn't succeed and then wakes up in the hospital and
- 25:16Speaker 1: has no memory. And then I'm sure someone's made this movie.
- 25:21Speaker 1: But but right it sounds like such a good move
- 25:23Speaker 1: plot for a movie. But that was our tiny plot
- 25:26Speaker 1: for this clip show, was that he didn't remember, so
- 25:30Speaker 1: someone had to. Eventually, JD was avoiding telling him why
- 25:33Speaker 1: he was in the hospital, how it happened, because the
- 25:34Speaker 1: guy didn't know that he was suicidal. And then at
- 25:38Speaker 1: the end, you know, when it gets all woman and fuzzy, Sarah,
- 25:42Speaker 1: Sarah was like, I'll be the one, and Sarah went
- 25:44Speaker 1: and did it told him, yeah, I didn't. Why did
- 25:47Speaker 1: Elliott decide to do that? I don't know. I don't know.
- 25:49Speaker 1: It seems like it would have been it would have
- 25:51Speaker 1: been appropriate for JD to do it, but but I
- 25:53Speaker 1: guess it was about like, we're all in this together,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know, I can't do this all on my own.
- 25:58Speaker 1: And so she was like, so Louis Louise or Lewis
- 26:03Speaker 1: Emiliel Delgado who played Louise for forty four years. He
- 26:08Speaker 1: played the part for forty four years on Sesame Street.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I worked with him on Street. I was on Sesame Street,
- 26:16Speaker 1: but I only got to work with Telly. I love Telly.
- 26:20Speaker 1: You saw my thing right about the word anxious. Anxious,
- 26:23Speaker 1: it's a great one tells the most anxious mupp If
- 26:26Speaker 1: you guys haven't seen this audience friends, um, go on
- 26:29Speaker 1: YouTube and look up Zach Braff Telly anxious and I
- 26:33Speaker 1: explain it's pretty funny. I get. I get a fight
- 26:36Speaker 1: club reference in there. I'm one of the only people
- 26:39Speaker 1: that's ever gotten a fight club reference on the Sesame Street. Wow.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But it's great, It's it's actually I'm not just treating
- 26:46Speaker 1: my own horn. It's a great way to explain to
- 26:49Speaker 1: a young child the concept of anxious. Yes, anxiety. So
- 26:55Speaker 1: I am patting me and Telly on the back. More.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Tell Wow, we nail You nailed it Me and Telly.
- 27:02Speaker 1: You stuck, definitely stuck the landing. Good takeoff and you
- 27:05Speaker 1: stuck the landing. I'm telling you guys right now, Joel
- 27:11Speaker 1: m hmm, without saying anything, how did you feel about
- 27:14Speaker 1: doctor Strange? Just don't Sam RAINI did what Sam Rainy
- 27:18Speaker 1: was gonna do? Uh you Nick spandis thought as as
- 27:23Speaker 1: far as I thought it would. And uh okay, I'm
- 27:28Speaker 1: gonna translate that. You know how he and peeled to
- 27:30Speaker 1: the Obama translator. I will now translate that shit was
- 27:35Speaker 1: boring as fuck. No right, No, it's not my favorite.
- 27:44Speaker 1: It is far it is far from my favorite. Dan.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I'm still exee it. I'm getting a burger with my
- 27:54Speaker 1: friends and then I'll be there. Yeah, you'll be there
- 27:57Speaker 1: with some animal face in your pocket. Enjoy enjoy that
- 28:00Speaker 1: should do? Donald? Do you want to fly down here
- 28:03Speaker 1: um tomorrow and come to f one weekend with me?
- 28:06Speaker 1: I do, But I'm not going to. If you were,
- 28:09Speaker 1: If Casey were as good a wife as you've described her,
- 28:11Speaker 1: she is club. She's already said go through. But she's
- 28:16Speaker 1: going Sunday to shop. I just told I just remembered.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's Mother's Day. You can't. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Can't you imagine? But this is how dope my wife is.
- 28:25Speaker 1: My wife would be like, all right, go and still
- 28:29Speaker 1: is how that is how cool she is. And you,
- 28:32Speaker 1: to your credit, you realize it's Mother's Day and you can't.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But she's no way I know, but that's how cool
- 28:38Speaker 1: Casey she is. She'd roll her eyes and be like fun. Yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 1: She's like, bring me a souvenir. You better bring me
- 28:47Speaker 1: something by bring me something from the club. Dollar from
- 28:53Speaker 1: the floor of eleven. Oh my god, that'd be the worst.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I'm not going to the club. Cut to you and
- 28:58Speaker 1: me on social media is somebody's social media. Yeah, dancing
- 29:03Speaker 1: with Snoop right, Snoop Dog with the with the blunt
- 29:06Speaker 1: and me after saying, oh, y'all, I would never smoke
- 29:09Speaker 1: a blunt after somebody else smoke that ship him passing
- 29:11Speaker 1: it to me and being like yeah, whoa yeah, that
- 29:18Speaker 1: would be a lot aloud. Eleven is very Wait hold up,
- 29:21Speaker 1: are you've been to eleven? I was at the opening
- 29:24Speaker 1: weekend of eleven. As a matter of fact, Daniels, I
- 29:28Speaker 1: understand it, Oh, Daniel, I understand. It is a mixture priscival.
- 29:33Speaker 1: It's like one of those places where women go just
- 29:35Speaker 1: as much as men. It's like a club, right club.
- 29:38Speaker 1: There's also like a strip club section or something. Most certainly,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I would say the entire thing is centered around like
- 29:44Speaker 1: the the performance of a strip club. But it's like
- 29:48Speaker 1: way more. There's a stage for like a DJ and
- 29:50Speaker 1: stuff like that. But in the center of the room
- 29:53Speaker 1: is a pole, a floor, like it's still a strip
- 29:55Speaker 1: club and there's similar Okay, I thought you were going
- 29:58Speaker 1: to say it was similar, Donald would rain. No, she
- 30:04Speaker 1: wouldn't be upset if I made it rain, she would be.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I don't think I don't. Here's the wonderful thing. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: don't think she'd be upset if I was at the
- 30:13Speaker 1: strip club. I think she'd be upset if I was
- 30:16Speaker 1: freaking like trying to pick up strippers. Though, right right,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I think this is the kind of club where she
- 30:22Speaker 1: would go too. It's like like it's like a club
- 30:25Speaker 1: that just happens to be naked women dancing. Don't get
- 30:28Speaker 1: it twisted. She'll jump on that motherfucking poll too, Don't
- 30:31Speaker 1: get it twisted. She might. She might take her clothes off,
- 30:35Speaker 1: but she'll go for a little swing. Casey back in
- 30:38Speaker 1: the day used to love a club. Casey back in
- 30:41Speaker 1: the day used to love a table in a club too. Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 1: Casey used to dance on that table. Oh my gosh,
- 30:48Speaker 1: my gosh, oh my gosh. Those are the old days. Donald.
- 30:55Speaker 1: The days is over, man. But you could live them again.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You in Miami. Everything's leading Damian the clerb. I'm hanging
- 31:01Speaker 1: out with Bill, and Bill's gonna be like when we
- 31:05Speaker 1: go into the club. Bill is not going to go
- 31:06Speaker 1: to the club. First of all, I don't like clerbs
- 31:11Speaker 1: a and the last time you've been doing If I'm
- 31:14Speaker 1: at the club, it means I got wasted and I'm
- 31:17Speaker 1: gonna have the worst hangover the next day. I can't
- 31:20Speaker 1: wait to hear from you tomorrow and be like, Yo,
- 31:22Speaker 1: so we got wasted. You're never gonna trying not to
- 31:26Speaker 1: drink like that no more. Although Casey got us these
- 31:28Speaker 1: patches once and keep trying to track them down. Remember
- 31:31Speaker 1: that Donald, this was such a hashtag forties thing that
- 31:34Speaker 1: you put on your You put on your lower back
- 31:37Speaker 1: when you when you're gonna go have a night out,
- 31:38Speaker 1: and it supposedly secretes everything you need to not have
- 31:42Speaker 1: a hangover the next day. It worked. I remember if
- 31:45Speaker 1: it was psychosomatic or not. Maybe I just had a
- 31:48Speaker 1: nasty taste in my like a like a vitaminy taste
- 31:51Speaker 1: in my mouth. That's all I remember. Oh really, I
- 31:54Speaker 1: just wondered if you because you put it on it's psychosomatic.
- 31:56Speaker 1: And then thus you're more conscious, conscious, conscience conscious, you're
- 32:02Speaker 1: more conscious of drinking more water and not like because
- 32:06Speaker 1: you'd be like, oh, I put that patch on, I'll
- 32:08Speaker 1: make sure that shit works. Man. That's the that is
- 32:10Speaker 1: the honest to goodness key. If you're gonna get drunk,
- 32:14Speaker 1: pound water. That's what you would do. I was a kid.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I used would pound a gallon of water before. You
- 32:21Speaker 1: were funny about were We never spoke about you getting
- 32:23Speaker 1: drunk in Amanda's birthday party. I wasn't that drunk. You
- 32:27Speaker 1: were pretty funny, dude. You were loud. You're like you
- 32:29Speaker 1: thought you were whispering to your wife, but you were
- 32:30Speaker 1: at the table at regular volume. You're like, we gotta
- 32:32Speaker 1: get out of here. He thought he was whispering. He
- 32:45Speaker 1: aren't you over this? Let's go home. That was funny.
- 32:57Speaker 1: But then but then he wanted to make sure yet
- 32:59Speaker 1: all his go bags lined up because the food there
- 33:03Speaker 1: was plenty of left or food you need to go backs.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I'm taking you to go back home. Yes, she definitely
- 33:07Speaker 1: took to go backs home. No, I didn't, Yes you did,
- 33:11Speaker 1: Casey might have bought I didn't. Oh, I don't know.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I just thought you were you were like waiting for
- 33:15Speaker 1: you to go bags. She hadn't even blowing she didn't
- 33:18Speaker 1: even blowing out her candles. This dude's like collecting this
- 33:20Speaker 1: to go bags. I was so tired, man, Like when
- 33:23Speaker 1: we got there, I was already tired. Why do people
- 33:26Speaker 1: do that? Why do people throw parties at like seven
- 33:29Speaker 1: o'clock at night? Eight o'clock at night? Dude? Like what
- 33:31Speaker 1: the fuck? Man? Four o'clock? Oh my god, that sounds
- 33:36Speaker 1: about about Miami's people go out late, right, because it's
- 33:39Speaker 1: like that kind of vibe. I just got, like, I
- 33:42Speaker 1: guess kind of like a oh, don't worry. We got
- 33:44Speaker 1: a dinner reservation at nine thirty. I'm like, what n thirty?
- 33:51Speaker 1: When I am? I supposed to eat till nine thirty? Okay.
- 33:55Speaker 1: So there was a time we went to This is
- 33:58Speaker 1: what happened. We went to Miami onee. That's some bullet.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Listen to this. We me it was me, you, Casey,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I think Sarah were coming out from from from the Bahamas,
- 34:13Speaker 1: Bill and Christa and we're all getting to Miami and
- 34:17Speaker 1: we're like, yo, we're going out tonight. And Christa's like,
- 34:21Speaker 1: there's no fucking way we're doing it. Like this, and
- 34:23Speaker 1: we're like, yeah, you are, Krista, You're going out. We
- 34:26Speaker 1: were trying to peer pressure her and we were like,
- 34:28Speaker 1: we're gonna get dinner reservations at nine and then we're
- 34:32Speaker 1: gonna go to the club. Did we do it? Yeah?
- 34:36Speaker 1: But she resisted for so long. She was like nine o'clock.
- 34:40Speaker 1: She was like, what about six? And we clowned Christoph
- 34:44Speaker 1: for like, we were like, right, six o'clock, Christa, six
- 34:50Speaker 1: o'clock for real, and she was like, yes, six o'clock.
- 34:53Speaker 1: She went to dinner at nine o'clock. She was so tired.
- 34:56Speaker 1: And now I know exactly what you know. All right,
- 34:59Speaker 1: let's we're gonna tay break and then I'm sorry, we
- 35:01Speaker 1: don't have much to talk about. It's a clip show. Um,
- 35:03Speaker 1: if you want to watch a clip show, watch a
- 35:04Speaker 1: clip show. It's a It's the Greatest Hits album. Um,
- 35:07Speaker 1: we'll be right back after these fine messages, and we're back,
- 35:19Speaker 1: all right, bringing the guest. We play that song, Daniel,
- 35:22Speaker 1: we gotta call. We can talk some watch the scene
- 35:28Speaker 1: show dunes, you know, like a Botta spoke some jazz
- 35:33Speaker 1: maybe talking about the episode. So come on, Jo, let's
- 35:36Speaker 1: get the show. Give it up. And dango. We really
- 35:49Speaker 1: need you to be interesting, um because um we we
- 35:54Speaker 1: we had a clip clip show and clip show all right.
- 35:57Speaker 1: We didn't have much to say because it's just mon
- 36:00Speaker 1: tags of shit that happened. Um you know, it's a
- 36:02Speaker 1: clip show, so I think the audience is going to
- 36:05Speaker 1: get the most out of And then we talked about
- 36:07Speaker 1: a club in Miami that's half club half strip club.
- 36:10Speaker 1: And then that we talked about we talked about one
- 36:16Speaker 1: and boats. Actually we didn't talk about we talked about boat. Anyway,
- 36:20Speaker 1: it may not be our talk about strain. We really
- 36:24Speaker 1: need you to bring it. I saw that last night,
- 36:29Speaker 1: umpler spoilers without without ruining the spoilers. But what were
- 36:34Speaker 1: your thoughts. I loved it. I um, I love the
- 36:39Speaker 1: Marvel universe, but it's kind of just the Marvel universe
- 36:42Speaker 1: at this point in Sam RAMI was like, now we're
- 36:44Speaker 1: going to add some stuff to this that you weren't
- 36:46Speaker 1: prepared to see. And even though it's not perfect, it
- 36:49Speaker 1: was much more entertaining to watch. Okay, there's a there's
- 36:53Speaker 1: a counterpoint to some of the points that have been mentioned.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I don't I love I love Raymie. Also I love
- 37:01Speaker 1: Sam Raymie also, but she and you'll never I can
- 37:04Speaker 1: tell you from working with him, You'll never mean a
- 37:05Speaker 1: nicer human being in the world. He's the person I've
- 37:09Speaker 1: ever met. And he's a very loyal. He's very loyal
- 37:12Speaker 1: to his actors, also like Bruce Campbell. Although although although
- 37:17Speaker 1: I don't know why I wasn't in this movie, uh Sam,
- 37:20Speaker 1: because I know you're an avid listener to the podcast.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Mc donald's not in Star Wars yet, you don't get
- 37:24Speaker 1: to be in Marvel, I know. But he is super
- 37:27Speaker 1: loyal and I was the monkey and Oz the great
- 37:29Speaker 1: and powerful and where's my part? Yeah? You know what?
- 37:32Speaker 1: You know what, Zach, Zach? What she nailed? Nailed? Do
- 37:37Speaker 1: you know that Sam wears a suit and tie the
- 37:39Speaker 1: entire time he's directing, Like like a bow tie or
- 37:43Speaker 1: a tie, No, no, a regular tie, but tied up.
- 37:45Speaker 1: It's like old school Hitchcock, Like his brother wears a
- 37:49Speaker 1: bow tie every time I see his brothers, well, not
- 37:51Speaker 1: every time, but sometimes when I see his brother, his
- 37:52Speaker 1: brother has a bow tie. And it could be like
- 37:56Speaker 1: late at night and he's exhausted, he's still got that
- 37:58Speaker 1: suit and tie on, tied all the way up. I
- 38:01Speaker 1: gotta tell you where I'm staying in South Beach. Um.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I have a view of all the cruise ships going
- 38:06Speaker 1: out and around on Friday, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. They
- 38:09Speaker 1: go out like every ten minutes, and I'm just thinking, like,
- 38:13Speaker 1: these people are getting on cruise ships right now. Still
- 38:17Speaker 1: they had they had a breakout on one of the
- 38:19Speaker 1: carnival jo of course they're gonna have a breakout. Yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 1: people were pissed. Dude, you're not catching on a cruise ship.
- 38:27Speaker 1: All right? Hold up, yeah, let me ask you this.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Since we're talking about strange in the multiverse of madness,
- 38:34Speaker 1: how many times did you see it? Joel? Oh, we
- 38:36Speaker 1: aren't talking about it anymore though twice Dang already no,
- 38:41Speaker 1: because she went through press screen a journalist and they
- 38:46Speaker 1: get advanced screenings and shit like that. All right, Danielle,
- 38:49Speaker 1: go ahead, what's your question for us? Well, I was
- 38:51Speaker 1: going to point out first. I know it's kind of
- 38:53Speaker 1: hard to tell, but I made sure to rep my
- 38:56Speaker 1: Star Wars. This one's just specifically Darth Vader. I'm not
- 39:02Speaker 1: part of that, but we do have that here in Albuquerque.
- 39:05Speaker 1: But I also promised my boyfriend, and I know it's
- 39:07Speaker 1: hard to see, but I have a hotian. I see that.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I was going to comment on it, um, but then
- 39:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna get really weird bandgirling. Right now. My whole
- 39:18Speaker 1: wall behind me is my Zach Brafla. Oh my god.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I have all the pops. I have your brother Joshua's book,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I have your screenplay. I have a VHS and a
- 39:33Speaker 1: DVD of Guards. I have all the prints from the
- 39:36Speaker 1: release with which I was here. I have my thing.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, my god. To say something real quickly,
- 39:45Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say anything rude. I want to thank
- 39:47Speaker 1: you very very much for motioning towards Star Wars and
- 39:51Speaker 1: giving me something first, because what you've just shown this manage.
- 39:55Speaker 1: But I don't want the audience know that this young
- 39:57Speaker 1: lady has a shrine, has a shrine into my work.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like that. That means so much
- 40:03Speaker 1: to me. Thank you so much, very nice of yours.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I was here. I wish I was here, Vinyl, because
- 40:14Speaker 1: I have the UM. All right, Well, Joel, let's get
- 40:18Speaker 1: her her information and I'll send you as signed wish
- 40:21Speaker 1: I was here, Vinyl. That's very nice, I promise you.
- 40:26Speaker 1: And and if you're a fan of of of that
- 40:28Speaker 1: of those films, you're gonna love the new one. Um
- 40:31Speaker 1: a good person. It's really the best thing I think
- 40:34Speaker 1: I've ever made. I'm not just saying that I've grown
- 40:37Speaker 1: up a bit as a filmmaker, and uh, I think
- 40:39Speaker 1: I think it's it's it's the best thing I made.
- 40:42Speaker 1: So I get ready, I'm excited for everybody to see this.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I'm excited for everybody to see it. Yeah, Alabama Jackson
- 40:50Speaker 1: was phenomenal. Yeah, but that's not that's not It's all right,
- 40:56Speaker 1: it's alright, it's all right, it's quite all right. Listen,
- 40:59Speaker 1: you did enough here, so Star Wars not right. Listen, Oh,
- 41:09Speaker 1: let's see the tattoo. Tattoo. I've met both of you before. Actually,
- 41:13Speaker 1: was I a second? Slow down? I wasn't a dick,
- 41:17Speaker 1: was I? No? I did I meet you? Did I
- 41:19Speaker 1: meet you at a coffee shop at Albuquerque? Oh? Now,
- 41:22Speaker 1: but you didn't have a red haired like Okay? Did
- 41:27Speaker 1: I meet you when I was out there doing the wave? No? No, no,
- 41:34Speaker 1: Unfortunately I got to meet you for two seconds when
- 41:36Speaker 1: you handed me a mike at the Wish. I was here,
- 41:39Speaker 1: release got it well. When I was down there shooting
- 41:42Speaker 1: um the de Niro movie. I lived next to next
- 41:46Speaker 1: stoor to a coffee shop, and um, I would go
- 41:49Speaker 1: to this coffee shop every day. And we ran into
- 41:51Speaker 1: each other and you were very lovely and kind, and
- 41:53Speaker 1: you said, I have a tattoo related to your work,
- 41:56Speaker 1: and um, can you can you show it to Donald
- 42:00Speaker 1: Anil and not Joel? So this is the maybe that's
- 42:04Speaker 1: all family really is a group of people who missed
- 42:06Speaker 1: the same imaginary place. And that that brass signature. Wow.
- 42:11Speaker 1: When I met her, she had the quote from Garden
- 42:14Speaker 1: State when I say, maybe that's all the family really
- 42:16Speaker 1: is a group of people that miss the same imagining place,
- 42:19Speaker 1: and she said she had had it tattooed and it's big,
- 42:22Speaker 1: you guys, it's like six inches sizeable, yeah, sizeable. It
- 42:26Speaker 1: looked like a tink. It looked like a commandment plate.
- 42:29Speaker 1: It looked like it's the size of a commandment. And
- 42:34Speaker 1: then when I ran into her, she said, would you
- 42:37Speaker 1: sign it with a sharpie? And so I of course
- 42:40Speaker 1: was so honored and a little bit dumbfounded, but signed it.
- 42:44Speaker 1: And then you had my signature tattooed. So wow, thank
- 42:48Speaker 1: you so much. I think you might be my number
- 42:50Speaker 1: one fan. You certainly like my work more than Donald,
- 42:52Speaker 1: and he's my best friend. And Donald, are you prepared
- 42:56Speaker 1: to get a tattoo of any of my writing on
- 42:59Speaker 1: your body? No? What if I paid for it? Doctor woo.
- 43:03Speaker 1: It could be something like from Scrubs. Something that's really
- 43:11Speaker 1: important for me to notate right now is in Scrubs,
- 43:15Speaker 1: which you get like my favorite obsession show of all time,
- 43:20Speaker 1: Turk is by far the best character. And I really
- 43:23Speaker 1: want to put that because I think it's important. I'm sorry, sorry, yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 1: but I ain't on your wall. You know what I mean.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Let's keep it. Hold on, Oh she's got the hold on?
- 43:34Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, you didn't you didn't? I love you,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and I love the Star Wars and I love your
- 43:41Speaker 1: boyfriend more for putting the Mandalorian up. I appreciate it.
- 43:44Speaker 1: But let's keep it one hundred. You didn't start this
- 43:46Speaker 1: shit off with and this is my Turk is the
- 43:49Speaker 1: best character on Scrubs wall? Did you know? You started
- 43:54Speaker 1: with this is my Zach Braff wall. So you can't.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You don't have Turk is my favorite Scrubs tattooed on
- 44:02Speaker 1: your body. You got Zach Braff's name, and a and
- 44:06Speaker 1: a king and it's on her body. Dude, your name
- 44:09Speaker 1: is on her body. Okay, so she can sitting here,
- 44:14Speaker 1: but he's sitting here trying to tell me Turk's her
- 44:18Speaker 1: favorite character. I know you're shoo, we don't have to
- 44:21Speaker 1: do it. I'm willing to I'm good with it. I'm
- 44:22Speaker 1: willing to admit. I'm willing to admit you're one of
- 44:27Speaker 1: the top five characters on Scrubs. All right, all right,
- 44:38Speaker 1: Well why you wrote in? Tell us why you wrote
- 44:40Speaker 1: in so during COVID and actually, when I met you
- 44:43Speaker 1: last time, I was working at a funeral home. I
- 44:46Speaker 1: was a licensed embalmer and then I switched right before
- 44:51Speaker 1: COVID hit into directing. So I was meeting with the
- 44:53Speaker 1: families and arranging the funeral right like Six Feet Under, Yes,
- 44:57Speaker 1: very much so. Which must be a favorite show of
- 44:59Speaker 1: yours because that shows amazing. No. Last time we talked,
- 45:02Speaker 1: you said that must be your favorite show, and I
- 45:03Speaker 1: still have never watched it. Oh well, I'm sorry. When
- 45:08Speaker 1: someone says they're an embomber, my brain my brain goes
- 45:10Speaker 1: for like, okay, what's the next conversation thing you can
- 45:13Speaker 1: think of? Six Feet Under a great TV show, Daniel,
- 45:16Speaker 1: I've only seen the last episode. I know we don't
- 45:19Speaker 1: talk about it. I know that's so annoying to me.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It really is so annoy So go ahead, shut up,
- 45:26Speaker 1: Go ahead, Daniel. So the reason I decided to finally
- 45:30Speaker 1: write in which I felt kind of selfish doing, because
- 45:31Speaker 1: I've had the opportunity to see you guys before. But
- 45:34Speaker 1: my main thing is how forgotten the funeral industry was
- 45:39Speaker 1: during COVID. And I know it's a little bit late
- 45:40Speaker 1: to the game, but I still think it's really important
- 45:43Speaker 1: because like when COVID hit, I mean, we didn't have tests,
- 45:48Speaker 1: we didn't have PPE because all of it was getting
- 45:50Speaker 1: sold out. My manager did a back alleyway deal to
- 45:53Speaker 1: get PPE for the people who were picking up the
- 45:55Speaker 1: people who died of COVID. Wow, it was horrifying. And
- 46:00Speaker 1: then in the like funeral arrangement rooms where like we were,
- 46:04Speaker 1: you know, we tried to do everything over the phone,
- 46:06Speaker 1: because you really can. It's it's pretty simple, right, I've
- 46:09Speaker 1: done it. I've I've been through the experience UM for
- 46:12Speaker 1: um before, and it's where you go and you like
- 46:17Speaker 1: look at the display and you and you and you
- 46:19Speaker 1: choose a casket and it's so horrible so I was
- 46:24Speaker 1: someone like you who's got a great attitude, and I
- 46:27Speaker 1: imagine it's very empathetic. It's probably good at it. But
- 46:30Speaker 1: our guy was a little bit cold. I didn't like
- 46:34Speaker 1: him easy to get that way, like it sucks, but
- 46:37Speaker 1: like that's that's part of the reason I eventually ended
- 46:39Speaker 1: up leaving because I couldn't handle it. It was late
- 46:43Speaker 1: in the twenty twenty. I hadn't seen friends or family
- 46:46Speaker 1: when everyone was kind of being able to kind of
- 46:48Speaker 1: get together. It was affecting my boyfriend or our roommates,
- 46:53Speaker 1: but the families were so seeing everything firsthand. I know
- 46:58Speaker 1: nothing is harder than having to arrange and be a
- 47:02Speaker 1: part of this when your loved one just died. And
- 47:04Speaker 1: it's weird too because you you're like, well, I want
- 47:06Speaker 1: the best for them, and then and then the funeral
- 47:09Speaker 1: person's like, well, then you want the XR two forty
- 47:11Speaker 1: seven because if you really love your your loved one,
- 47:15Speaker 1: you want to you want this casket. And you're like, wow,
- 47:18Speaker 1: that's a lot of money for that casket. We're just
- 47:20Speaker 1: gonna put it in the ground, right, And then you're like,
- 47:22Speaker 1: but you wouldn't dare put them in the l two
- 47:25Speaker 1: four nine er, that's that's disrespectful to well for us
- 47:31Speaker 1: and I worked at a low income funeral home, so
- 47:33Speaker 1: we specialized in making it oh good good. I went
- 47:37Speaker 1: to one where they were where they were, where they
- 47:39Speaker 1: were trying to talk to you into the I mean,
- 47:41Speaker 1: I don't mean the guy was he wasn't exactly a
- 47:43Speaker 1: used car he wasn't exactly used car salesman, but he
- 47:45Speaker 1: definitely you know there she wants you to spend a
- 47:48Speaker 1: lot of money on a lot of stuff. Yeah. So
- 47:51Speaker 1: it was hard because like the families when they would
- 47:53Speaker 1: come in, like you would have to ask them, you know, okay,
- 47:55Speaker 1: have you been exposed to COVID nineteen did it? And
- 47:59Speaker 1: we'd have people to us left and right, and then
- 48:00Speaker 1: we get the des certificate back the person die to COVID.
- 48:03Speaker 1: So they were risking the lives of our people. Like
- 48:06Speaker 1: one of our main arrangers had kids at home and
- 48:09Speaker 1: none the less kids who you know really could have
- 48:12Speaker 1: you know, suc come to that. Yeah, it was horrible.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Well thank you for for doing that, and doing it
- 48:17Speaker 1: at a place for a low income place. On top
- 48:22Speaker 1: of that, um, I imagine COVID had to be hard
- 48:25Speaker 1: for the funeral industry, especially spaced you have to did
- 48:33Speaker 1: you have to get like an external freezer refrigerator? We
- 48:37Speaker 1: had it on standby and it was ready to be used. Um.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Luckily we have a our awes the medical investigators who
- 48:43Speaker 1: are trying to hold them as meant bodies as much
- 48:46Speaker 1: as they could, because externals kind of sketchy. Like we
- 48:49Speaker 1: were in a bad area town where like, oh, great,
- 48:50Speaker 1: someone's going to break in and steal somebody. How long
- 48:54Speaker 1: how long people steal people? What do they steal? It
- 48:57Speaker 1: was a fear. It was how long how long usually
- 49:02Speaker 1: when someone dies and you get the body at the
- 49:04Speaker 1: funeral home until the funeral happens usually I mean before
- 49:13Speaker 1: cod so, but during COVID it was like months, right,
- 49:19Speaker 1: were you guys holding bodies from you guys were holding
- 49:21Speaker 1: bodies for months and so people were weren't able to
- 49:24Speaker 1: bury their loved ones. That's h and especially because our
- 49:30Speaker 1: area has a lot of very religious families, so it's
- 49:34Speaker 1: very important to have a full Catholic funeral. It's it's
- 49:37Speaker 1: important to them. So it's not like they just got
- 49:39Speaker 1: to like, oh, it's time to just get them in
- 49:41Speaker 1: the ground. Because those things we could get pretty quick
- 49:43Speaker 1: or cremations. I mean we were behind just by like
- 49:46Speaker 1: two weeks versus months, so it was just really dependent.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I helped my friend with his mom like it was wow,
- 50:00Speaker 1: all right, Danielle, do you have a question for us
- 50:07Speaker 1: or anything? We can fix your life whatever you want.
- 50:12Speaker 1: I got all of it ready, So okay, God, what's
- 50:14Speaker 1: your question? So I want to start with my friend's question.
- 50:17Speaker 1: He was actually here, but he had to go back
- 50:19Speaker 1: to work. Okay, well, Donald was laid it's his fault,
- 50:22Speaker 1: my bad. Yo. I went and saw doctor Strange and
- 50:25Speaker 1: then my computer. And by the way, this motherfucker tried
- 50:27Speaker 1: to play it off like he had an appointment. He
- 50:29Speaker 1: was at the fucking movies. I tried to play it
- 50:31Speaker 1: off like I had an appointment. Yeah, Donald can only
- 50:33Speaker 1: do after four or fifteen. I didn't try to play
- 50:37Speaker 1: it off like that I had an appointment. I just
- 50:39Speaker 1: said I didn't give you all of the information. I
- 50:45Speaker 1: was selective in the information I gave you. All right,
- 50:47Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead, daniel So I would like to
- 50:50Speaker 1: ask his questions since he didn't get to make it,
- 50:52Speaker 1: and he's the reason I got to see you the
- 50:53Speaker 1: first time. He told me the ticket to go see
- 50:55Speaker 1: you because he was going to and he couldn't make it.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Your friends sold it to you. He didn't just give it. No, No,
- 51:01Speaker 1: it was look, we're an albacre like that was an
- 51:04Speaker 1: expensive trimp. No I get it. Yeah, sorry, just let
- 51:08Speaker 1: the woman speak. Donald, My bad dude. He wanted to
- 51:11Speaker 1: know upcoming, do you guys get to have any musical
- 51:16Speaker 1: workings together? Because obviously the commercial from the Christmas song
- 51:20Speaker 1: and then you get the Team Obile commercials, Like, it's like,
- 51:23Speaker 1: did they get to do anything? I would love that
- 51:25Speaker 1: more than anything, you know. Someone suggested to me that
- 51:27Speaker 1: we do like an old school style like musical film together, Donald,
- 51:34Speaker 1: that would be fucking dope. I like like like bing Crosby, No,
- 51:38Speaker 1: not Lala Land, like bing Crosby a guest and uh
- 51:41Speaker 1: and um and and Sinatra? Or would do right? Aren't
- 51:45Speaker 1: there the movies? Would like these old guys but yeah,
- 51:48Speaker 1: they're like or like Abbot and Costello or no, he
- 51:52Speaker 1: was telling me about Actually who was it was Kevin,
- 51:57Speaker 1: our our old boom man on Scrubs. I'm gonna circle
- 51:59Speaker 1: this all back to Scrubs. I'm down here shooting um
- 52:03Speaker 1: in Miami, and we have the same sound department that
- 52:07Speaker 1: because Bill is mister loyal. Of course that we had
- 52:09Speaker 1: on Scrubs. It's Joe Foglia and his boom up Kevin,
- 52:13Speaker 1: and Kevin was saying how much he loved um singing
- 52:18Speaker 1: in the T mobile ad. By the way, we have
- 52:20Speaker 1: a new team mobile. I don't know if you saw
- 52:22Speaker 1: on our socials. Check it out. It's pretty funny. Everyone
- 52:24Speaker 1: loves how Donald's and in the closet in the ad. Yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 1: a tip to the to the podcast. But um, he
- 52:33Speaker 1: was like, you guys should everyone loves it when you
- 52:35Speaker 1: guys sing, You should do like a like some sort
- 52:38Speaker 1: of you know, I forgot. He was referencing these movies.
- 52:40Speaker 1: I don't know. Is it's like the Road to something
- 52:43Speaker 1: or like the Road to Rio or something. Can you
- 52:45Speaker 1: look that up? You guys. They're like these old school
- 52:49Speaker 1: movies where like they've been on the road and then
- 52:50Speaker 1: they just start they break into song. Yeah, it's called
- 52:53Speaker 1: the Road to Rio. Uh. Norman Zy mc lead was
- 52:58Speaker 1: the director who was the two stars of it, Bing
- 53:00Speaker 1: Crosby and Bob Hoope. Yeah, Bob Bing Crosby and Big Hope.
- 53:03Speaker 1: There you go. We could do something like that. Donald Okay,
- 53:07Speaker 1: I love singing. We'd love singing. We just need someone
- 53:10Speaker 1: to write as a song because, um, I guess we
- 53:12Speaker 1: could do old standards too. I feel like you guys
- 53:16Speaker 1: could do it though, Like have you heard Donald raps
- 53:19Speaker 1: that he used to do. No, he doesn't do them
- 53:21Speaker 1: anymore because he's phoning it in now. But listen, you know,
- 53:25Speaker 1: if we ever take the show on the road, there
- 53:27Speaker 1: is talk of touring this show. Um, in the fall.
- 53:30Speaker 1: There's a little bit rumblings, right, you're well, aren't there
- 53:32Speaker 1: at some beginnings of rumblings and then Donald, maybe we
- 53:35Speaker 1: could have a song or two that we sang that
- 53:38Speaker 1: wasn't guy love or the obvious that was something like
- 53:42Speaker 1: a surgeon duck No, like an old standard, I really
- 53:47Speaker 1: can't stay. No, you're not that song either, something like
- 53:53Speaker 1: don't know much about big Button. I cannot lie. I
- 53:58Speaker 1: thought you had a whole no more yell thing. Well,
- 54:01Speaker 1: it was open, it was wide open, Like it was
- 54:05Speaker 1: like when you got home. I have a question when
- 54:07Speaker 1: you got home from doctor Strange and you knew you
- 54:09Speaker 1: were late for the party. I wasn't late. I wasn't late.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I was on time. And did you have a did
- 54:13Speaker 1: you have a bong? Hit. No, Zach, I had a
- 54:16Speaker 1: few bog hits. I didn't have legal and Albuquerque. Yeah,
- 54:26Speaker 1: but y'all was doing drugs in Albuquerque way before that.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Let's keep it. Let's keep it. There are no strangers
- 54:34Speaker 1: to drugs there. I can tell you by by spending
- 54:36Speaker 1: some time there. Why are you telling us to be quiet? No,
- 54:41Speaker 1: I don't want to give Albuquerque a bad name. There's
- 54:42Speaker 1: lovely people like dan Yell and Alburgquerque. But there's also
- 54:45Speaker 1: um zombies yo zombie zombies. Zombies. Well, I don't know
- 54:53Speaker 1: what they're wrong. But you walk down the wrong street
- 54:54Speaker 1: and you see like walking tw it's like video. Don't don't.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm sure they are very nice. I've had
- 55:09Speaker 1: some of the best times in my life in Albuquerque.
- 55:11Speaker 1: In New Mexico, I stayed at that what was it
- 55:14Speaker 1: on these it's on the louse? What's it called you? No,
- 55:19Speaker 1: they got they got a nice hotel. But when you
- 55:22Speaker 1: leave it? When when when you leave it, um, it
- 55:25Speaker 1: looks like the beginning of thriller coming at you at night. Okay,
- 55:29Speaker 1: you're not wrong. You don't just walk anywhere what But
- 55:37Speaker 1: during the day, as I said, they got that that
- 55:39Speaker 1: that coffee shop where I met you, great coffee shop.
- 55:43Speaker 1: That whole area, that Sawmill Market is a main Yeah,
- 55:45Speaker 1: by the way, that's new, and that wasn't there. That
- 55:48Speaker 1: was under construction when I was there, and that looked
- 55:50Speaker 1: like that was gonna be really cool. It's beautiful. So
- 55:52Speaker 1: next time I'm back in Albuquerque, I'm gonna go to
- 55:54Speaker 1: the Sawmill Market. All right, what's your next question? Um?
- 56:00Speaker 1: So I I'm not gonna this is gonna be more
- 56:04Speaker 1: of a statement. Um these you guys should definitely review
- 56:08Speaker 1: season nine of Scrubs because it gets so much flak
- 56:11Speaker 1: and it's so good. Okay, that's it. I've no one's
- 56:14Speaker 1: ever said that to us, So that's that's I think
- 56:17Speaker 1: people will hold up. Let me get this straight. Where
- 56:19Speaker 1: was your favorite piece of Scrubs? Is so good? And
- 56:23Speaker 1: you're gonna go into records and say this. I have
- 56:27Speaker 1: said it constantly. Drew is amazing. Denise there. I don't
- 56:32Speaker 1: even know who you're talking about. Who play? Who is Drew?
- 56:36Speaker 1: And who is Denise? You know? You know these people?
- 56:41Speaker 1: Eliza Coop was funny, Um, which was funny? Who? What
- 56:46Speaker 1: was the name of the characters that they played? I
- 56:48Speaker 1: have no I never watched it. Yeah, exactly, Denise, which
- 56:52Speaker 1: is season eight. It's gonna be the most It's gonna
- 56:54Speaker 1: be the most fun for me to watch because Danielle,
- 56:57Speaker 1: I've never seen one episode in season nine and I
- 57:00Speaker 1: was in the first six. Yeah, it's it's I know
- 57:05Speaker 1: people don't like it as much but have all the
- 57:07Speaker 1: same humor. Yeah, Dave Franco. You had Dave Franco and
- 57:10Speaker 1: he's phenomenal. Yeah. What was the name of his character
- 57:13Speaker 1: in season nine? I don't know. Joel, Oh, Joel, give
- 57:22Speaker 1: us the give us the main NN, Me and Donald
- 57:25Speaker 1: cast of season nine. I think Cox is on there too.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Johnny's on there with us also, Yeah, and Sarah comes
- 57:33Speaker 1: for like four episodes or something like that. Also the
- 57:36Speaker 1: guy what the guy whose name I can't think of
- 57:38Speaker 1: right now. Um, he's on the show I'm watching with
- 57:42Speaker 1: um about the about the the guy the girl who
- 57:45Speaker 1: convicted of man. I called him. I called him Michael.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I thought his name his name is Michael. Uh. I
- 57:52Speaker 1: was called him Michael Winslow, like the dude from Fucking
- 57:54Speaker 1: Dave Franco played Cole Aaronson. Yeah, I was called I
- 57:58Speaker 1: was called I was called him Michael Winslow from Police
- 58:01Speaker 1: Academy and he threw up. I remember he threw a party.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Season nine, he threw a party and I didn't get invited.
- 58:07Speaker 1: And I was like, how come Michael Winsloaded invite me
- 58:10Speaker 1: to his damn party? And everybody's like, because that's not
- 58:12Speaker 1: his name? Donald maybe because yes, he was the one
- 58:18Speaker 1: that lived on the yard. What's the name of that actor?
- 58:22Speaker 1: I'm I'm just gonna IMDb. Um, I'm gonna I am
- 58:26Speaker 1: Elijah Cooper played Denise Mahoney. But if I look up
- 58:32Speaker 1: the show I'm watching, what's it called? Kerry Biche played
- 58:35Speaker 1: Lucy Banan and she had the voice over, m Um,
- 58:40Speaker 1: what's the show I'm watching? Um? The girl from Plainville. Yeah,
- 58:44Speaker 1: she says a line that's what the Fraggle rock. And
- 58:46Speaker 1: I say that to this day because it kills me.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I love it. That's really Michael Michael Mosley. Michael Moseley
- 58:54Speaker 1: was the best. He's the best character. And yeah, and
- 58:59Speaker 1: it's so much better. If they would have named it
- 59:01Speaker 1: Interns and got rid of all the older cast, I
- 59:05Speaker 1: think it would have done amazing. Also, they should have
- 59:07Speaker 1: got rid of Zach and myself as well. Right, I
- 59:11Speaker 1: think you could have stuck in there a little bit longer.
- 59:14Speaker 1: You know, you started off as my favorite. You should
- 59:19Speaker 1: watch You should watch out the Girl from Plainville m
- 59:23Speaker 1: Danielle because it's got Michael Moseley and he's doing a
- 59:26Speaker 1: very good jobs as well as a lawyer. Well he
- 59:30Speaker 1: had the other one. I want to say. It was Sirens, Yes, yeah,
- 59:34Speaker 1: which was hilarious. Don't forget Nicki Whalen. Shout out, Nicki Whalen,
- 59:38Speaker 1: Nicky Whalen, shout out. Let's take a breath. We'll be
- 59:40Speaker 1: right back after these fine words. All right, it's time
- 59:50Speaker 1: for Albuquerque, New Mexico's favorite segment. It's time to fix
- 59:55Speaker 1: your life. So I don't really like my name's sake.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I have my dad's last name and not a great person. Um,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: so I've been seriously thinking about legally changing my last name.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Yeah now, okay, okay, yeah, go ahead. So I want
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: to know what your guys this suggestion would be for
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: my new last name. But there's one, there's one that's
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: in first place right now, Okay, Now, what about the boyfriend?
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Might you marry him and take his name? We discussed
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: that we're not planning on the whole marriage thing. We've
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: been together ten years almost, but um, we were. I
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: was saying, unless we get married now, I'm not going
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: to like change it to his name and then we
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: get married in the future. Okay, Okay, I think less
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and less people are gonna get married in the future, Donalds,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: because it's look at this young woman. She's like, no,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: we love ten years. Fuck it? Yeah, exactly. But it's
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: easier out too. Yeah, you just fucking grab your shit
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and run page. I'm gonna take I'm gonna take my ship.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: You take your ship. You want house, Yeah, you could
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: keep it. You could keep it if you want it.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I'm a bounce. I'm just gonna bounce. Unless there's kids.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Of course, we're joking, and unless there's children. Of course,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: all right, there's kids. Didn't. You can't be doing that.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I know that was a joke related to um couples
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: that don't have kids. All right, listen, Danielle, what are
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the two contenders or do you want us to just
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: pitch ideas? I will tell you the number one contender
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: after you pitch some ideas. Okay, Donald, go, daniel and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Juell feel free to play this game too. What's a
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: cool name for Danielle. We got we know that she's
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: We kind of get a sense that she of her taste,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: which isn't impeccable because she likes Star Wars and my film. Listen,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Danielle Calarussian to say that, I'm not even joking. That
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: was about to roll off the tongue. Danielle Calarussian's pretty
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: damn Am I too white to have that name? No? Okay, no, listen, man,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: there's a bunch of Phaisons at a white there's a
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: phase on North Carolina. There's black Phaison's white pass Why
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: can't cal Risian be a dope name for you? I
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: do like it. If it was, Oh, you'd beat Daniellow.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Just pitching. I'm just throwing some paint up, just just
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: throwing some paint up on the canvas. Joelle like it? No?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I like it. I like it. I have the most
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: boring last name in the history of the world. So no,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it's not. And you're down to get down remember the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: song it's my middle name. Um, all right, Joel, do
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you mean ideas for Danielle uh Sega? Danyelle Sega? That
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: makes me sound like a superhero. I like I like
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Luna as a last name, because the start of Nedel
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: is not really grounded in anything. Sounds a bit like
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: a like a like a performer at eleven. But um,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I get it. Um Danielle. Oh, I got a good one,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Danielle farkless, fartless, far less, like Glenn farkless, Glenn livid,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Glenn farkless. Danielle. There's a banner, Danielle. Wait, there's a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: banner going by for a club um on the beach,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and I'm gonna. I'm just gonna pitch it Danielle. Omnia.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: This might be a sign from God. It might be
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: a sign from God. I think that's a club. Do
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you think my name will you see on the beach?
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I mean, just think about it, Danielle. If while you
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: asked some perfect strangers to name you, a banner went
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: by and it said Omnia, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna put money on it that when we see
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Danielle again, her last name is gonna be Omnia, Yeah,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: or Danielle Danielle Club eleven, it's gonna be Dane Danielle.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I'm I'm a feeling it's gonna be daniel Omnia. All right,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: where everyone contend. All right, what's your give me a suggestion?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: He is the closest name to me, that's true. How
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: about how about Danielle Paloma? Oh so I was trying
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to think of something, something that sounds, something that sounds
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: you know, European in some fashion. Yeah, like I can
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: go to France and it'll be good. Okay, God, what's
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the number one? Give us the give us before we
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: give us the top two contenders, so we don't want
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: to know what the one contender? Okay, So number two
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: suggestion from my friend is Phantom, because then i'd be
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Danny Phantom. That's funny. And then because I normally go
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: by Danny. And the other one is because I have
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: three tattoos relating to the Lord Almighty himself mister DeVito,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: so all my friends call me de Vito. Danny DeVito
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: would be the best. D Please pretty please, please, pretty amazing?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Is if I did get married to my boyfriend, it
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: would be we would change it to Danny Davie Hill
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: cute Danny DeVito. I like Danny DeVito better. I liked better.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: You're gonna get a laugh every time you introduce yourself
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: to someone, which is yeah, nice breaker fine with that.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I take it, and he's so far he's a clean
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: slate and I love it. So what does that mean?
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: What does it? What does a clean slate mean? He
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: doesn't have any concerning things. He's not a he's a
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: he's not a problematic movie star, is what she's saying.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Got it? Um? I would try to think a phase on.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: It's very nice, Daniel Danny phase on. So one of
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: my friends suggested one of your names, and I said,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I may be a super fan, but I can't be
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: like that bad because it was Danny browext me. When
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the T mobile commercial aired, they were like, oh my god,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: did you know they're on a commercial? Danny Braff. It
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: just doesn't sound like a nice name. Danny Israel bro
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Um Largeman, Danny Largeman, that's not bad, Danielle Largeman. I
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: mean you got the tattoo already. Um, all right, Danielle.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: We gotta go. Because Donald decided to go see a
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: movie and it was a clip show. Audience, I know
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what you're thinking, this wasn't your best, and and we're
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: willing to admit that it wasn't our best. This was
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: a fucking great show. Hold on, let's talked about some
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: really cool stuff. Let's do it. You know we should
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: do is of this? No, we should do a rewatch
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: of this podcast. We started it off where I tried
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: to jump on at one fifteen, and guess what happened.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Oh good, you fucked up. You started. We started one fifty.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: At that moment when I came on, I was full
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: of energy. Zach was not. He was ready to get
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: off the podcast. He wanted to go. I did, by
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the way. You know what I did, by the way,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: because I'm such a good friend and you were doing
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: your fucking bullshit market as I read all the ads,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I read all the ads area before you. I love
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: him for that. I love you for that. I love
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you for that. And so then Zach read the ads.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I got on with a bunch of energy. He was
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: pissed that he had to read the ads, but eventually
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I say, I didn't mind reading the ads. I didn't
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: mind reading the ads. I like reading the ads. I'm
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: pissed that you met implied to us. I never implied anything.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: You did imply that this was scheduled dependent and it's
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: because he went to a fucking movie. I was fifteen
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: minutes late. I was fifteen minutes late because I went
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: to a fucking movie and then that fifteen minutes turned
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: into another. Anyway, I apologize to you guys. I'm so sorry.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I apologize. I am so so sorry, not to the fans,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: promise to uh Danny Largeman. I can't wait to hang
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: out with you again when I come to Albuquerque and
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you can help protect me from the cast of thriller.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: You can tell me which alleyway not to walk down.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Could you start seeing them do this fucking shit? What's
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: that thriller moved Donald where they go up with their
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: arms like this. It's like the I don't know if
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: it's like the creepers like there're like, we're just trying
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: to shoot at your will be gone in ten minutes?
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: All right? Is it love you all? Is it like
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Dan Florida? I love you, man, I miss you. Let
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you don't well. I'm at Miami Beach right now and
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I can't complain. It's very pretty. I'm in Bill Lawrence's
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: fancy condo that he rented while he shoots this Vince
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Vaughn TV show. Um, so I I cannot complain. It
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: looks beautiful behind you. Do you want to see the
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: view from look. Yes, oh stunning, gorgeous. It's pretty. It's
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: still Florida, but it's pretty. You scared of Florida. I
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: spent some time there. It's a I'd rather be an Albuquerque. Everybody,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: we gotta go. We miss you, love you, we love you,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: and um and thank you for listening. And I hope
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: this was someone entertaining. Um Donald, do you want to
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: say anything in closing? I do. What was you doing
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: in Florida? Girl? Oh my god? Seventy eight about shore
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: we made about a bunch of domes and nurses story.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: So
