Tova Noel Breaks Her Silence on Epstein’s Final Night And Blames Systemic Failures (6/10/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:02
Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few days, a lot of
• 0:07
the publicity when it comes to depositions in front of
• 0:11
Congress was on Pam Bondi. However, Bondi wasn't the only
• 0:15
person speaking to Congress. We also had touvin O Well,
• 0:20
the guard that was on duty when Jeffrey Epstein died. Well.
• 0:25
Now she's sang that her life has been upended and
• 0:28
that the Epstein controversy and what happened in that jail
• 0:32
has led to people going so far as to threatening
• 0:36
her life. And unfortunately, there's a lot of unhinged people
• 0:39
out there, and when people make threats like that this
• 0:42
day and age, it has to be taken seriously. Right,
• 0:45
And as I've told you from the beginning, I don't
• 0:47
think that touven A Well was in on it like
• 0:50
she wasn't you know, somebody who planned it, wasn't somebody
• 0:53
that was relied upon. But I believe that the table
• 0:56
was set and she played her part willingly or unwillingly.
• 1:01
Does that mean anybody should be threatening this lady's life.
• 1:04
Hell no, anyone doing that they should go to jail too.
• 1:08
Fuck is wrong with people. The idea is for a
• 1:12
robust investigation, not vigilante justice. That plays right into their hands.
• 1:17
They want to paint all of us as crazy people.
• 1:20
That's what they want. If you want to effectively kill
• 1:22
a narrative, paint everybody that's pushing that narrative as crazy.
• 1:26
And when you have people that are out here act
• 1:28
in the fool, threatening people, becoming unhinged maniacs, it doesn't
• 1:34
do anyone any good, not the person that's becoming unhinged,
• 1:38
and it definitely doesn't help promote justice. Right, the more
• 1:42
crazy people you have, the more they can use that
• 1:45
broad brush and paint everybody is crazy. So today we
• 1:49
have an article from the International Business Times and the
• 1:52
headline Epstein guard on duty when he was found dead,
• 1:56
faces death threats over cover up, conspiracy theories, conspiracy theories?
• 2:01
Is it? So this isn't a cover up? I mean,
• 2:04
I don't think there's any conspiracy about it. Now. Of
• 2:07
course we can talk about what happened to Epstein in
• 2:09
that jail. Nobody knows for sure, but I think that
• 2:12
the evidence is certainly there where you can make the
• 2:16
case that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. Now of course you
• 2:20
can make the case the other way too, But I
• 2:22
think when you have all of the coincidences, all of
• 2:25
the screw ups, and all of the nonsense that we've
• 2:28
heard in those depositions that were given by people at
• 2:32
MCC to the OIG, have any of you come away
• 2:35
from that confident in the narrative that was being pitched
• 2:38
by the DOJ. I most certainly am not. And I
• 2:43
don't think I've ever seen something that has been more
• 2:46
blatant than this cover up right here. This article was
• 2:49
authored by theo Felicity, a former prison officer who was
• 2:54
on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein died in a New
• 2:56
York jail, has told US lawmakers that enduring con piracy
• 3:00
theories around his death have derailed her life and left
• 3:03
her facing harassment in threats. According to a transcript of
• 3:06
testimony shared by The Sun, I wonder if that caused
• 3:09
her to assault one of her coworkers, because she got
• 3:12
sued for that too. Did this Jeffrey Epstein situation cause that?
• 3:19
Just a question? The Epstein guard on duty when he
• 3:22
was found dead, Tauvin o Weel, told the House Oversight
• 3:25
Committee that she was not involved in any cover up
• 3:27
and insisted she never conspired in Epstein's death while working
• 3:31
at the MCC in twenty nineteen, and I agree with that,
• 3:35
But was she put in that position with Michael Thomas
• 3:38
so this could occur? We don't even know who was
• 3:42
making decisions when it comes to Epstein's cellmate. And that's
• 3:45
not speculation. We've been through the documents, We've read through
• 3:49
all of it. So no, I don't think that Touvin
• 3:52
o Weel is some mastermind here and put together a
• 3:55
plan to whack Jeffrey Epstein. I've never thought that. But
• 3:59
was the table set? Were all the pieces put in
• 4:02
the right places? Well, that seems like a very very
• 4:06
likely possibility. And whether there was somebody else in that
• 4:08
cell or the message Epstein himself was you better do
• 4:12
it or we will, the results are the same. And
• 4:16
the fact that Tovin Owell and Michael Thomas were sleeping
• 4:19
at the time, never mind all the other policies that
• 4:21
were broken, it makes it hard to believe. Now if
• 4:24
it was just one thing, you know, the cameras broke,
• 4:27
but they were awake or a vice versa cool I
• 4:30
could accept that. I'm not an unreasonable person, and I
• 4:34
know shit happens at work. Sometimes things just go south.
• 4:38
I get it. But this is a lot more than that,
• 4:42
and there's something a lot more in the farius going on,
• 4:44
at least in my opinion. The theories emerged as the
• 4:48
public attempts to track Epstein's final hours, including the release
• 4:51
of documents tied to earlier investigations and long standing questions
• 4:55
about failures inside the federal jail system. And that's the excuse, right, Oh,
• 5:00
these are systemic failures. Well, have any of them been addressed?
• 5:05
How about the people that were in place to make
• 5:07
sure the failures didn't happen or they replaced? Did they
• 5:10
get fired, were they charged? No, none of it happened.
• 5:15
So they told you that there was all these systemic
• 5:17
errors and nothing was ever corrected. Meanwhile, we know for
• 5:21
a fact that tovin o Well and Michael Thomas both
• 5:24
fell asleep and didn't do their job, and for that alone,
• 5:28
they should have went to jail, especially considering that somebody died.
• 5:32
And I don't even care if it's Epstein. Anybody imagine
• 5:36
if that was your father, your brother, whatever, And I
• 5:39
don't want to hear. Oh, well they're in jail. Who cares? Fuck?
• 5:41
That when the state takes custody of you, they have
• 5:44
a responsibility to make sure you're relatively safe. Now, does
• 5:48
that mean everything is gonna be protected and you're gonna
• 5:50
be in bubble wrap? Course not. But this is something
• 5:55
completely unacceptable, especially considering there's been nothing done in the
• 6:00
aftermath when we heard about how systemic all this was. Epstein,
• 6:05
the disgraced financier waiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was
• 6:09
found on a responsive in his cell on August tenth,
• 6:11
twenty nineteen. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging
• 6:15
by the New York Medical Examiner, a finding later supported
• 6:18
by the US Department of Justice, though it's remained the
• 6:21
subject of persistent public doubt. Yeah, it was disputed by
• 6:26
Michael Baden, who was actually present when the autopsy occurred.
• 6:30
So again I ask you, do you trust the State
• 6:32
of New York the federal government? And if you do, great, awesome.
• 6:38
But my question then would be what have they done
• 6:41
to garner that trust? Because every time I turn around,
• 6:45
there's another scandal, another shit show, and nobody doing anything
• 6:49
about it. So keep that shit in mind next time
• 6:52
they tell you that, oh, it's just a systemic error. Oh,
• 6:55
it has nothing to do with personnel. It has nothing
• 6:58
to do with anybody setting the table. Okay, cool. So
• 7:02
who was punished in the aftermath, certainly not Toauvin Noel
• 7:06
or Michael Thomas. They got suspended sentences. Noel, who was
• 7:10
initially charged and in connection with falsifying records during her shift,
• 7:13
told lawmakers that the circumstances inside the MCC were shaped
• 7:17
by what she described as systemic breakdowns rather than individual
• 7:22
misconduct alone. It's not our fault, it's the system's fault. No,
• 7:26
it's her fault. She fell asleep, did she? Or did
• 7:29
she not fall asleep? She did, so she can bullshit
• 7:32
all she wants. But I've read the transcripts. Unlike Congress,
• 7:37
we know they haven't read them because they don't really care.
• 7:39
They're looking for a gotcha moment. But I've read them,
• 7:43
and I know that everything Tauvin Oel's claiming here has
• 7:46
been shited on by captains and lieutenants and everybody else.
• 7:50
Now that's not to say there wasn't some systemic error.
• 7:54
There was, but to use that as the only reason
• 7:57
why we're in this situation is not only unacceptable, it's
• 8:01
ridiculous because here's the truth. If they would have done
• 8:04
their rounds, if they didn't falsify that paperwork, Jeffrey Epstein
• 8:09
might still be alive. So even if they didn't do
• 8:12
it on purpose, even if they weren't bought and paid,
• 8:16
they still fucked up. They still went to sleep, and
• 8:19
Jeffrey Epstein died as a result. So is that systemic
• 8:22
or is that individual? Yo? We live in a world
• 8:25
where nobody wants to take self responsibility for anything. It's
• 8:29
always somebody else's fault. My advice, take a look in
• 8:33
the mirror. About ninety percent of your problems self made.
• 8:38
She pointed to severe understaffing, poor training, and we communication
• 8:42
between management and frontline officers. We know that's a lie too.
• 8:46
We know that there was stickies. We know that everybody
• 8:48
knew that Jeffrey Epstein needed to sell mate. But instead
• 8:52
of reaching out to somebody, instead of doing the right thing,
• 8:56
tovin No, Well, well, she was on the computer, she
• 8:58
was sleeping, she was whatever she wanted. But sure, that's
• 9:02
the system's fault, right, My responsibility to conduct counts and
• 9:05
rounds wasn't properly executed because of severe understaffing, a lack
• 9:10
of adequate training, inadequate communication between management and frontline correctional officers,
• 9:15
and other systemic failures, she said in testimony, describing what
• 9:19
she referred to as the MCC way. So all of
• 9:22
that made her go to sleep. Severe understaffing made you
• 9:26
go to bed. Oh no, you had to work overtime?
• 9:31
How horrible for you. When I was working in entertainment,
• 9:35
there were times where I would work three four weeks
• 9:38
and I'm not even kidding you, with no days off,
• 9:40
eighteen hours a day, manual fucking labor on loading trucks,
• 9:44
setting up concerts, the whole thing. I didn't fall asleep
• 9:48
at work, so please save that bullshit. And if you're
• 9:50
too tired, call in. So I get it. There were issues.
• 9:56
They were understaffed, the training not great. But at the
• 10:01
end of the day, you have to take self responsibility.
• 10:05
And if you're not up to snuff and your training's
• 10:07
not good enough, why didn't you contact the captain? Why
• 10:10
didn't you tell the other lieutenant, Hey, look, I'm not
• 10:13
comfortable here. I need to get more training. I guess
• 10:18
that would be personal responsibility too, And as we see,
• 10:23
she's allergic to that. Noel and another officer had been
• 10:27
accused by prosecutors in twenty nineteen a falsely recording that
• 10:30
they had completed required checks on inmates in the special
• 10:34
housing unit. Authorities alleged that during their shift, no proper
• 10:38
monitoring took place for roughly eight hours before Epstein was
• 10:41
found on a responsive not alleged that's what happened, Like,
• 10:46
what are we doing here? We're going to rewrite history? Alleged, No,
• 10:51
she fell asleep. Jeffrey Epstein died. That's what we know
• 10:55
for sure, Okay, anything besides that is speculation. Both officers
• 11:01
later enter deals with prosecutors and charges were dropped in
• 11:05
twenty twenty one, closing the criminal case, but not the
• 11:08
public debate surrounding it. It was a deferred prosecution, Okay,
• 11:12
they weren't dropped. They were deferred, meaning they had to
• 11:14
go through the steps whatever they were to get the
• 11:17
charges dropped. And obviously that was to control the blast radius.
• 11:22
They didn't want this becoming what it's now become. And
• 11:25
I don't know how much more evidence you folks need.
• 11:27
Noel told blawmakers that she believed the legal resolution would
• 11:30
allow her to move on, but instead, she said that
• 11:33
she's been engulfed by suspicion, online theories and personal threats. Well,
• 11:38
nobody should be threatening this lady, and I think that
• 11:41
the problem obviously is much bigger than just tovin O weell.
• 11:45
She's just a little part of the story, right, And
• 11:48
my biggest beef is that she just refuses to accept responsibility, like,
• 11:53
have a little bit of remorse. Yo, I screwed up.
• 11:56
I fell asleep. I shouldn't have done that, but I
• 11:59
most certainly didn't have anything to do with any of
• 12:01
the other stuff that happened. But no, it's woe as me.
• 12:05
I'm the victim. It's nonsense. You're not a victim. You
• 12:08
fell asleep, dude died. That's the system's problem. Sounds like
• 12:14
a you problem. I've received threats from strangers. I have
• 12:19
witness strangers pontificate about whether I'm a murderer or that
• 12:23
I'll end up dead, she said, describing harassment at her
• 12:26
home and her workplace. Yo, anybody who shows up to
• 12:29
somebody's house or workplace is a psychopath. The fuck is
• 12:33
wrong with you. Stop it, get help. In the words
• 12:38
of Michael Jordan, She added that repeated media coverage based
• 12:42
on what she called new theories with little to no
• 12:45
factual basis had kept her tied to the case years
• 12:48
after the fact. Blame the government. It's their fault. They
• 12:53
haven't given us the right information, and everything they've told
• 12:56
us about what happened in that jail has proven to bbs,
• 13:00
So why should anyone believe the narratives that are being pitched.
• 13:05
Her testimony also addressed specific details that have periodically resurfaced
• 13:09
in public debate. One concerns Internet searches linked to Epstein
• 13:13
made during her shift, including a query referencing latest on
• 13:16
Epstein in jail shortly before his death, was discovered suspicious
• 13:21
but not evidence. What it tells me is that Touvin
• 13:24
Noel was sitting at that computer searching the Internet like
• 13:28
anybody else does when they're board, and she fell asleep.
• 13:31
Does it make her an evil monster? I don't think so.
• 13:34
It makes her incompetent as a prison guard, but not
• 13:37
a monster, and it doesn't make her a part of
• 13:40
the cover up. I think she was a tool, that's all,
• 13:44
Just like Michael Thomas. Noel told lawmakers she did not
• 13:47
recall conducting a direct search, and suggested that she had
• 13:50
encountered news through routine browsing She also responded to questions
• 13:54
about bank transactions flagged as unusual by her financial institution.
• 13:59
Noel said the deposits were personal savings and unrelated to
• 14:03
Epstein or anyone connected to them. I have never been approached, offered,
• 14:08
asked anything that's concerning my money. Has nothing to do
• 14:11
with Epstein at all, she said. And that's probably true, right.
• 14:16
But it's suspicious, and it's something that should have been
• 14:19
investigated more thoroughly, not because I think that Noel had
• 14:24
anything to do with it, but for the sake of
• 14:26
being thorough. Epstein's death has remained a boiling point for
• 14:30
conspiracy theories, fueled by documented failures at the jail and
• 14:34
the sudden removal of a high profile inmate awaiting trial.
• 14:38
A twenty twenty three Inspector General report identified multiple lapses
• 14:42
with the BOP, including staffing shortages and broken protocols, but
• 14:47
concluded there was no evidence of homicide. Noel told lawmakers
• 14:51
she was never properly trained for the unit where Epstein
• 14:54
was held, and argued that institutional failures, not individual intent,
• 14:59
best explained what happened that night. She also dismissed claims
• 15:03
linked to a brief orange flash seen on surveillance footage
• 15:06
near Epstein's cell, saying it had no connection to her duties. Okay,
• 15:10
who was it? Who was it? Then? Somebody was in
• 15:14
the video? Are we just going to make pretend that
• 15:17
didn't happen. I would like to ask the world to
• 15:22
allow me to heal and move on with my life,
• 15:23
she said, I'm not a criminal. I didn't conspire to
• 15:26
cause mister Epstein's death. Even as the official investigations have
• 15:30
repeatedly reaffirmed the conclusion of suicide, the case continues to
• 15:34
generate theories in public circles. Well, because nobody trusts institutions,
• 15:38
and why should we especially considering as they want to say,
• 15:42
it was all systemic, right, Well, if that's the case,
• 15:46
nothing's been fixed, nothing has been put to rights. Certainly
• 15:51
nobody's been held accountable. So if the failures around Epstein
• 15:54
were so systemic and they were so widespread, how come
• 15:57
there's never been any kind of investigation into that? Can
• 16:01
we get some hearings? Can we have congressional oversight? That's
• 16:05
the job, right And if this was so systemic, then
• 16:08
we need a full accounting of just how far it
• 16:10
goes and how many institutions are affected, and the fact
• 16:13
that we haven't seen that, the fact that we haven't
• 16:15
seen you know, all these different committees, investigations, oversight, leads
• 16:21
me to believe that this is all just part of
• 16:23
the cover story. Let's just call it systemic, and then
• 16:27
we can refer to the OIG investigator's report and that'll
• 16:30
back us up. And unfortunately, like I've told you guys
• 16:34
for years, that OIG report was never meant to get
• 16:37
to the bottom of anything. It was all part of
• 16:39
the whitewash, just like everything that's come after it, in
• 16:42
my opinion, is part of the cover up. All the
• 16:47
information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 16:50
  the description box.
