- 0:15Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark. I'm Megan, and
- 0:18Speaker 1: I am a lifelong Hallmark movie fan.
- 0:21Speaker 2: And I'm Wendy, and I want to know is it
- 0:23Speaker 2: January yet?
- 0:25Speaker 1: This week we are discussing a fabled holiday from Hallmarks
- 0:29Speaker 1: Countdown to Christmas series. We are in the home stretch, Wendy,
- 0:34Speaker 1: we are. Well.
- 0:36Speaker 2: You know what's funny is that at the beginning of
- 0:40Speaker 2: Countdown the Christmas I went in hard.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I was watching every movie Hi every single day, hurt
- 0:45Speaker 1: yourself out.
- 0:46Speaker 2: And we did ask, we said, when will Wendy tap out?
- 0:51Speaker 1: And I think it was this weekend. We've We've hit
- 0:55Speaker 1: that moment.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm there just a few more weeks.
- 1:01Speaker 1: If you want to connect with us outside of the podcast,
- 1:03Speaker 1: we'd love for you to do so on Instagram. We're
- 1:05Speaker 1: on TikTok, We're at Megan and Wendy. And if you
- 1:09Speaker 1: want to get really deeply involved with us, Wendy, how
- 1:12Speaker 1: can they do that?
- 1:13Speaker 2: They can join our Facebook group Girls Gone Hallmark. Just
- 1:16Speaker 2: look for it in Facebook groups, or I will leave
- 1:19Speaker 2: a link in our show notes. We're letting people in
- 1:22Speaker 2: there left and right, every single day, rowing like crazy.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We'd love to have you over there, and we also
- 1:28Speaker 1: have a Girls Gone Hallmark Instagram account. I run at
- 1:32Speaker 1: Megan and Wendy. Wendy runs at Girls Gone Hallmark, which
- 1:35Speaker 1: is really funny to me.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That is kind of funny. It's actually easier, I think,
- 1:40Speaker 2: than running the other one.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It's real, niched down, real focused.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I like it and often get the
- 1:46Speaker 2: attention of Tyler Hines there, so you know, it's a
- 1:49Speaker 2: win win for me.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So if you are a Hallmark fan, those Instagram accounts
- 1:53Speaker 1: are a fun little community. One final way you can
- 1:56Speaker 1: connect with us is by leaving a review. It is
- 1:58Speaker 1: the greatest gift you can give us this season. It's free,
- 2:02Speaker 1: it's easy. You pop into the Apple podcast app, you
- 2:04Speaker 1: give us five stars, and you say something lovely like
- 2:07Speaker 1: our latest review. You want to hear it. I'm ready
- 2:10Speaker 1: for it. It's titled so Much Fun. I enjoy hearing
- 2:13Speaker 1: Megan and Wendy's opinions on the movies, and their news
- 2:16Speaker 1: and notes are always full of good Hallmark related tidbits.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But seriously, I need to be friends with these ladies.
- 2:22Speaker 1: They're so relatable and a ton of fun. Keep up
- 2:25Speaker 1: the great work, Megan and Wendy.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Well, that makes me so happy because I have left
- 2:29Speaker 2: so many comments on podcasts where I'm like, this could
- 2:31Speaker 2: be a my new best friend. So it makes me
- 2:34Speaker 2: happy to hear that someone thinks about us like that.
- 2:37Speaker 1: One percent agree they can have lovely review.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And the the other notes in there about how that
- 2:45Speaker 2: listener likes our news and notes.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That makes me real happy.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I was worried every time, like I work on the
- 2:52Speaker 2: news and Notes section, I go, do people just like
- 2:54Speaker 2: skip skip skip through this party?
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, what's interesting is our episodes have
- 2:59Speaker 1: gone ever so slightly longer on average, and that's simply
- 3:02Speaker 1: because we added in a Hallmark News and Note section
- 3:06Speaker 1: in addition to our movie specific news and note section.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And I wondered the same thing, do people want that?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Thanks to wonder if you or it stays? One person
- 3:17Speaker 1: says yes, So here we go. Here we go, speaking
- 3:20Speaker 1: of Hallmark News and Notes. Are you ready to talk
- 3:22Speaker 1: about some Hallmark related happenings. I am, y'all. January is
- 3:26Speaker 1: gonna be lit on the Hallmark Channel. First of all,
- 3:36Speaker 1: coming to Hallmark in January, as discussed, we have the
- 3:39Speaker 1: Wedding Veale trilogy and in one of last week's episodes.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You had a big wish. Do you remember what your
- 3:44Speaker 1: wish for that trilogy was?
- 3:46Speaker 2: Uh?
- 3:47Speaker 1: No, I didn't prepare you for this. I'm sorry. It
- 3:49Speaker 1: was that they would drop the episodes in order. Oh yes,
- 3:52Speaker 1: says yes, and they are. I'm so excited. So starting
- 3:56Speaker 1: on January seventh, the second round of the Wedding Veil
- 4:01Speaker 1: trilogy will drop on consecutive weekends January seventh, January fourteenth,
- 4:06Speaker 1: January twenty first. I'm excited me too.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Now, I wonder if they're just gonna throw like a
- 4:13Speaker 2: crappy movie at the on the twenty eighth.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Have you read our.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Oh snap, I forgot that you wrote an amazing January
- 4:24Speaker 2: lineup post that has been rocking on our website.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It is if you want to write up of everything
- 4:30Speaker 1: coming to Hallmark Channel in January. We do have that
- 4:33Speaker 1: post on our website. Wendy will do you the favor
- 4:36Speaker 1: of linking it in our show notes, but you can
- 4:37Speaker 1: always find it at meganand Wendy dot com. We've got
- 4:43Speaker 1: so much happening over there. But the answer to your
- 4:46Speaker 1: question is, in terms of movies coming to Hallmark in January,
- 4:51Speaker 1: we have three weeks of the wedding veil. There are
- 4:53Speaker 1: two additional Hallmark Channel movies and one movies in mysteries.
- 4:59Speaker 1: So one draw Sunday, January first, The Dog Lowers Guide
- 5:03Speaker 1: to Dating starring Corey Sevier. Okay, and one drop Saturday,
- 5:10Speaker 1: January twenty called Glacier Park Romance starring Ashley Newbrow and
- 5:14Speaker 1: Steven Who's our excuse you? Glacier Park Romance is about
- 5:18Speaker 1: an avalanche forecaster who clashes with the director of mountain Rescue.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Come on, you know they're gonna have to work together
- 5:24Speaker 1: to save the day in the end.
- 5:25Speaker 2: See that makes me want to run away and never
- 5:29Speaker 2: podcast again. Like that is a Hallmark movie that I
- 5:33Speaker 2: do not.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Want to watch. Please tell me we are not reviewing that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Why wouldn't we it's a Hallmark Channel original Because it
- 5:41Speaker 1: sounds terrible, y'all. You should know that Behind the scenes.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Wendy's like, we are gonna be the premiere Hallmark movie podcasters.
- 5:48Speaker 1: We can't just skip a movie.
- 5:50Speaker 2: God, I'm sorry, and then tell me about the Dating
- 5:54Speaker 2: Dog One.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Stars Corey Sevier and Rebecca Dalton. Essentially, Cory Savier seeks
- 5:59Speaker 1: out a dog trainer played by Rebecca Dalton because his
- 6:05Speaker 1: girlfriend's dog doesn't like him. Jesus, he's trying to make
- 6:09Speaker 1: it happen. And these are the I Okay, Corey Savier, no,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I know you well, next one, I agree? I agree? Okay.
- 6:18Speaker 2: My question is are they completely abandoning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: New Year New Movies this year? I have yet to
- 6:24Speaker 1: see a promotion calling this collection of movies New Year
- 6:29Speaker 1: New Movies. That is not a definite indication that that
- 6:34Speaker 1: isn't going to exist, but it doesn't currently seem to
- 6:38Speaker 1: be what they're calling things. I mean, quite possibly, they're
- 6:41Speaker 1: still wrapped up and countdown to Christmas, so they're like,
- 6:43Speaker 1: let's just get through this and then we'll decide what
- 6:45Speaker 1: we're calling January's movies. Right. Indeed, we are going to
- 6:48Speaker 1: get a movie called Family History from Hallmark Movies and
- 6:51Speaker 1: Mysteries starring Janelle Parrish, whom I enjoy and Neil Matter,
- 6:55Speaker 1: who you don't enjoy. This movie has a lot going on.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's definitely a movie's and mysteries dramatic movie. Also, what
- 7:08Speaker 1: else is coming to the Hallmark channel in January? This
- 7:11Speaker 1: Way Home, The Way Home, Oh sorry, the Way Home.
- 7:16Speaker 1: That premiere is on January fifteenth.
- 7:19Speaker 2: On January fifteenth, I am actually really looking forward to that.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I like the little trailers are they have. However, in
- 7:27Speaker 2: the most recent commercial I saw, I'm like, is there
- 7:30Speaker 2: some sort of time travel situation happening here?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Like a weird like? I think that's what they're getting
- 7:36Speaker 1: at Reserve Judgment. It's not going to be sci fi?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Okay, I hope so, and we will be reviewing that
- 7:44Speaker 2: on the podcast.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Indeed, let's do a synopsis of a fabled holiday.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Okay, Talia and her childhood best friend Anderson unexpectedly reunite
- 7:53Speaker 2: in a familiar looking town full of Christmas spirit that
- 7:56Speaker 2: restores its visitors during their time of deep turmoil. Starring
- 8:01Speaker 2: Brooke do or Say and Ryan Pavey.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Quick question, m M do you know what Ryan Pavie's
- 8:09Speaker 1: fans are called?
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think I recently saw what is it? It's the Pavy Pack.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Oh okay, I got Hyae's and we got the Pavy
- 8:19Speaker 1: Pack and Donna fans, you know former Hallmark starsha fans?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Is there any more? Is there?
- 8:27Speaker 3: Like?
- 8:28Speaker 1: There's nothing for like, Oh, I'm sure they walkies? Is
- 8:32Speaker 1: that what they're called?
- 8:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 8:33Speaker 1: God, you are in a fandom for a dude of Hallmark.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Please let us know, we'd love to know what your
- 8:40Speaker 1: hashtag is.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely before we hit news and notes about a
- 8:45Speaker 2: fabled holiday. I have a girl's gone Hallwark Facebook note. Ah,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I just want to say that they said this weekend's
- 8:54Speaker 2: a big fat family Christmas was the winner of the weekend.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Have you watched that?
- 9:00Speaker 2: I started to watch it, but it was on my
- 9:03Speaker 2: phone and I was getting ready, so I wasn't like
- 9:04Speaker 2: fully invested, and I think I've only seen maybe twenty five.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Minutes of it.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Okay, have you Yeah, you've had a busy weekend.
- 9:11Speaker 1: There's no ways in to our long story short episode.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You will hear all the details on my very busy
- 9:15Speaker 1: weekend and barely had time to watch this movie. So
- 9:19Speaker 1: not yet.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Shall we talk news and notes about a fabled holiday?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Sure? I first have something from the petty Complaint Department. Oh,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I love it.
- 9:27Speaker 2: IMDb may change it to the format online c their format.
- 9:32Speaker 1: No I can't.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I'm scrolling back and forth all day to figure out
- 9:35Speaker 2: where to find things. It's so I already said it
- 9:39Speaker 2: was less user friendly before.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Now it's like more less user friendly.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I'm like trying to find the credits for the people
- 9:48Speaker 2: who have worked on these movies is so difficult?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Why did they change it? I don't know.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm going to write them an email or tweet them
- 9:57Speaker 2: or something.
- 9:58Speaker 1: They're like, pay for IMDb Pro. Oh lady.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Probably that's probably what it comes down to.
- 10:04Speaker 1: If we get fifty more Patreon subscribers on our long
- 10:08Speaker 1: story short Patreon, we'll get a at IMDb Pro subscription
- 10:13Speaker 1: and we can really beef up our news and note section. So, okay,
- 10:16Speaker 1: challenge has been thrown. Fifty fifty new ones. Okay, all right,
- 10:21Speaker 1: well let's just hop right in. This movie was co
- 10:25Speaker 1: written by es Dolan Dix, who gets the story credit,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and the teleplay goes to both E. S Dolan Dix
- 10:30Speaker 1: and Samantha Herman. Es Dolan Dix has exactly one credit,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and it's this movie. Samantha Herman, however, also wrote our
- 10:39Speaker 1: Italian Christmas Memories, Angel Falls, a novel holiday generally joint
- 10:42Speaker 1: also Mingle All the Way, my least favorite movie of
- 10:46Speaker 1: all time. I'm going to guess that Es Doland Dix
- 10:51Speaker 1: is a fake name. Her name is Elizabeth, so the
- 10:55Speaker 1: E could stand for.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, I just thought it was it's weird
- 11:00Speaker 2: that they only had one credit. One writing credit. Nothing else,
- 11:06Speaker 2: not one single thing else correct? But Samantha Herman. Okay,
- 11:11Speaker 2: so she wrote our Italian Christmas Memories? Did she co
- 11:15Speaker 2: write that with Juwa Batkin?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh? I think thinks she did. Maybe. I will say
- 11:22Speaker 1: this about E. S. Dolyndick's her about section on her
- 11:25Speaker 1: website says she spends her days writing and illustrating picture
- 11:29Speaker 1: books and ghost writes memoirs and feel good Christmas movies.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So perhaps she is just not getting the writing credit
- 11:37Speaker 1: that she deserves because she's a ghost writer. Interesting yeap,
- 11:40Speaker 1: very very interesting.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Ruby J. Monro directed This is her third directing credit.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Others include Planning for Joy, also from twenty twenty two,
- 11:52Speaker 2: and A Missus Miracle Christmas from twenty twenty one, which
- 11:57Speaker 2: premiered on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I'd like to also say about Ruby Monroe, most of
- 12:03Speaker 1: her work prior to directing was as a script supervisor. Yes,
- 12:07Speaker 1: she has a ton of credits for that. What's really
- 12:09Speaker 1: interesting to me is some of the recognizable titles in
- 12:13Speaker 1: her list. To me, I recognized many of them. I
- 12:16Speaker 1: haven't seen a lot of them, but the ones I've
- 12:18Speaker 1: seen our shows like Upload, Timeless, which is a time
- 12:21Speaker 1: travel television series, and Wayward Pines. And what's really interesting
- 12:25Speaker 1: to me as someone who's a script supervisor, all three
- 12:27Speaker 1: of those series in particular take place in different worlds,
- 12:31Speaker 1: like Upload takes place in a virtual world, Timeless is
- 12:36Speaker 1: time travel, Wayward Pines is kind of like an end
- 12:38Speaker 1: of the world scenario. And so I thought, that's the
- 12:42Speaker 1: kind of script where you really need a continuity script
- 12:46Speaker 1: supervisor to be like, what are the rules about this
- 12:48Speaker 1: place that we have invented in this story? I thought
- 12:52Speaker 1: that was really interesting.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I you know, also that is interesting. I also saw
- 12:57Speaker 2: that she was a script supervisor for A Million Little Things,
- 13:01Speaker 2: and I wonder if she and Elizabeth Laye know each other.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Fellow podcaster and also writer on A Million Little Things? Yes, exactly.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:10Speaker 1: This movie stars Ryan Pavey, and if you'd like more
- 13:12Speaker 1: of Ryan Pavee, you can hear him as one of
- 13:15Speaker 1: the voices on Once Upon a Christmas Carol, a two
- 13:18Speaker 1: hour and fifteen minute story available on Audible and it
- 13:22Speaker 1: is free to anyone with an Audible unlimited subscription. What's
- 13:25Speaker 1: it called? Once Upon a Christmas Story? Once Upon a
- 13:29Speaker 1: Christmas Carol?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Oh?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Okay, it is his first audiobook recording, although my understanding
- 13:35Speaker 1: is this does have a full cast and the other
- 13:38Speaker 1: audio star is a accomplished audiobook recording artist. Interesting. I
- 13:44Speaker 1: wonder why he did that money money, money money.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe Brooke, do you or say please? Talia she's
- 13:51Speaker 2: one of Megan's favorite I think it's I think it's
- 13:54Speaker 2: the hair.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It's a hair twin thing, right, Yeah, but she's so
- 13:57Speaker 1: fun to watch. Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 2: She was in this year's Wedding of a Life Time
- 14:00Speaker 2: with Jonathan Bennett, whose movie drops next week, the one
- 14:03Speaker 2: I am.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Looking forward to.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, also was in last year's A Dickens of
- 14:08Speaker 2: a Holiday with Christopher pou Laja good job. And I
- 14:12Speaker 2: noticed she's not very active on her social media. She
- 14:16Speaker 2: has a total of ten posts since nineteen. Oh, I'm sorry,
- 14:21Speaker 2: since nineteen.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Since twenty eighteen. She's just a private little lady.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Oh, I just remembered I didn't have a note here.
- 14:32Speaker 2: So everything I was looking up about Brooke door say.
- 14:35Speaker 1: You know, she's been.
- 14:35Speaker 2: In like things like Two and a Half Men and
- 14:38Speaker 2: Gary un Married. And I was looking at watching these
- 14:41Speaker 2: clips of her on these like comedy shows, and somebody
- 14:44Speaker 2: said that she was in a Nesty commercial, which I
- 14:49Speaker 2: I know it said she was the plunge girl, which
- 14:51Speaker 2: I mean, like, do you remember those Nest commercials where
- 14:53Speaker 2: they would like falling too the pool? Does that sound
- 14:55Speaker 2: vaguely familiar at all?
- 14:57Speaker 1: Maybe a little bit? Okay?
- 14:59Speaker 2: So I was watching all these commercials from yesteryear, right,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and there was this one. I thought, oh, maybe this
- 15:03Speaker 2: is the one she's in. Btw never could find the
- 15:06Speaker 2: one that she was in, but I wanted to just
- 15:09Speaker 2: comment on the Nesty commercial I did see, and it
- 15:12Speaker 2: had to be from the early two thousands or the
- 15:14Speaker 2: late nineties, but it was like all these like hot,
- 15:18Speaker 2: flashy scenes of people in bathing suits and we're talking
- 15:21Speaker 2: like it's instant icy commercial, right, And in one shot
- 15:27Speaker 2: the girl turns around and she has a tramp stamp
- 15:30Speaker 2: like right above you know, like her bathing suit bottoms
- 15:33Speaker 2: that either says Nesty or it says plunge. I can't
- 15:37Speaker 2: remember what it said, but I was like, that seems
- 15:40Speaker 2: highly inappropriate. I was like, who thought in the early
- 15:45Speaker 2: aughts or whenever, this was like, let's put a Nesty
- 15:49Speaker 2: brand tramp stamp on this poor girl and like.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Have her terrible I sure hope it wasn't Brooke Door
- 15:56Speaker 1: saying that scene. She's still wholesome and lovely, although she
- 15:59Speaker 1: was on Two and a half Men, which is not
- 16:00Speaker 1: a wholesome television show. So girlfriend, who's girl? She was
- 16:04Speaker 1: Charlie's girlfriend? No, no, no, no, Ashton Kutcher. Oh okay, all right, Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 1: this movie was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, where all
- 16:14Speaker 1: four producers and the director are located. Okay, that makes
- 16:17Speaker 1: it easy.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I guess right, Yeah, we're not going to Utah, guys,
- 16:21Speaker 2: nobody's traveling.
- 16:22Speaker 1: There's no travel budget. No.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I read that Claybourn Village Store in Abbotsford was used
- 16:29Speaker 2: for a few scenes that The store has also been
- 16:31Speaker 2: used in several other Hallmark movies, including Open By Christmas E.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Glenn Brook Christmas and Christmas in Evergreen.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Cool.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It'd be kind of cool to like own like a
- 16:40Speaker 2: store that they would want to like film that all
- 16:42Speaker 2: the time. Right, Oh yeah, maybe that's our retirement plan,
- 16:47Speaker 2: not being in these movies. But then we just own
- 16:49Speaker 2: like a cute Hallmark esque little like location.
- 16:53Speaker 1: They can just change the sign out for whatever they need.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Totally that in Your Dog Farm Dog Sanctuary. I don't no,
- 17:00Speaker 1: it was my husband talking about the other night. Hey,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'm into it. We were talking retirement plans at my
- 17:06Speaker 1: holiday party other night, Ripper Time. Wendy's husband's going to
- 17:10Speaker 1: be a part time community college professor and run a
- 17:14Speaker 1: dog sanctuary. I don't know what he was talking about.
- 17:16Speaker 1: That was the messaging I'm in. But look, we already
- 17:18Speaker 1: told him we're living next door, so you know.
- 17:21Speaker 2: He didn't balk at that that information either. So he's like, whatever,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you guys want to run a podcast empire from the backyard.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Great, he was being kind. I relayed that information to
- 17:30Speaker 1: my husband, who was not part of that conversation. He
- 17:32Speaker 1: was like, all I heard is that I'm retired in
- 17:34Speaker 1: this scenario, so whatever you want. It was weird, a
- 17:39Speaker 1: weird conversation. Uh.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Hey, Lindsay Sterling, she is an American violinist.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, did you know that was her? And I did
- 17:47Speaker 1: because I had well, I didn't know who Lindsay Sterling
- 17:51Speaker 1: was prior to this movie, but I had seen promo
- 17:55Speaker 1: for this movie or people were very excited that Lindsay
- 17:57Speaker 1: Sterling was performing, so apparently she's well known. I am
- 18:01Speaker 1: just not in on the strings performance world.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Well let me tell you where I have seen her before.
- 18:08Speaker 2: She was on season twenty five of Dancing.
- 18:10Speaker 1: With the Stars.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Oh, she finished in second place with her partner Mark
- 18:14Speaker 2: ballas well.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Apparently she's a big deal. She's a star. No comment.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I have a question for you, okay, of the current
- 18:25Speaker 2: of like the current slate of Hallmark Stars. Yeah, not
- 18:30Speaker 2: that you watch Dancing with the Stars, But who would
- 18:32Speaker 2: you like to see on Dancing with the Stars.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Oh, you know, I'd love the hell out of brookdor
- 18:35Speaker 1: Say on Dancing with the Stars. I think she would
- 18:37Speaker 1: kill it. She'd be great. I wouldn't mind a Wes
- 18:40Speaker 1: Brown moment on Dancing with the Stars. I think Paul
- 18:45Speaker 1: Campbell would be a delight on Dancing with the Stars.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Good choice. I'm just I'm just picking up people who
- 18:52Speaker 1: like I would see being fun on camera. I mean, like,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I feel like it's a cop out to say Tyler Hines,
- 18:59Speaker 1: but like Tyler hands would go all the way to
- 19:00Speaker 1: the end. He would just like smolder at the camera
- 19:02Speaker 1: during that judging moment and he will be like Boe
- 19:05Speaker 1: Bote Boot think at all those old ladies. I feel
- 19:09Speaker 1: like there's a big crossover in the Hallmark Dancing with
- 19:12Speaker 1: the Stars watching demo. Yes, I feel like we should
- 19:15Speaker 1: start a petition for somebody. Oh, Jonathan Bennett would be
- 19:19Speaker 1: O waities please, he would be great.
- 19:22Speaker 2: And uh, you know this year and last year dance
- 19:28Speaker 2: with a lady.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I know where it's going with and no, well, I.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Would say this current season that just wrapped, they had Changela,
- 19:34Speaker 2: who is a male drag queen performer, danced with another
- 19:39Speaker 2: male and it was great. But he was dressed up
- 19:42Speaker 2: as Chandela at the time, so you could see how
- 19:45Speaker 2: that what it essentially was two dudes. But like you
- 19:49Speaker 2: know what I mean, You know what I mean. Anyway,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I'd be happy to watch Jonathan Bennett dance with the
- 19:54Speaker 2: dude or a lady.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I don't care. I would just like to watch Jonathan Bennett.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I agree. I also think Tamaramowrie would be a good fit.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Oh yes, I think so too. Hmm.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I need to take it to Girls Gone Homework Instagram
- 20:08Speaker 2: and see and tag these people and see if they
- 20:10Speaker 2: would do it.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am, are you ready for first impressions? M sure
- 20:16Speaker 1: Mildred is an angry else? Oh Jesus mine is?
- 20:19Speaker 2: I didn't have dancing violinists on my bingo card. That's
- 20:24Speaker 2: pretty much how I felt about the Lindsay Sterling cameo
- 20:27Speaker 2: in this movie.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Well, well, the.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Thing while we're talking about that, the thing about that
- 20:31Speaker 1: was disappointing is if you're gonna have this violinist who
- 20:34Speaker 1: is obviously someone who's known for being a violinist, right,
- 20:37Speaker 1: like it's Lindsay Sterling violinists, not just like random stock violinist.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Could you make it a little more believable that she's
- 20:45Speaker 1: playing music in that moment?
- 20:47Speaker 2: Oh you didn't think it looked like she was playing
- 20:49Speaker 2: the violin? It?
- 20:52Speaker 1: No, I think she was probably playing. I don't think
- 20:54Speaker 1: the sound that we were hearing was what she was
- 20:55Speaker 1: actually playing, Like it was added in a post. And
- 20:58Speaker 1: I just feel like it just it's not the only
- 21:01Speaker 1: moment of sound production that I found disappointing in this movie.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Oh interesting, Well, I.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Will say about that scene, like I think, like playing
- 21:11Speaker 2: the violin and dancing as like her niche right, but.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Why is she not on a stage.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Why is she like just out in front of some
- 21:20Speaker 2: gazebo on the wet grass dancing around?
- 21:23Speaker 1: It just was weird. It felt more ren fair than yes,
- 21:28Speaker 1: one hundred percent. What did you like about a fabled holiday.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It was hard to make this list. I have a
- 21:35Speaker 2: love hate relationship with the quirkiness of Brooke dior Say's character.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Sometimes I thought she was real cute and sometimes I
- 21:43Speaker 2: thought she was super annoying. And furthermore, when she has
- 21:47Speaker 2: her like big revelation at the end about I'm.
- 21:49Speaker 1: A writer, I know who I am. I'm a writer,
- 21:52Speaker 1: She's like screaming it out into the universe. I was.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It was super cringe for me. I was embarrassed for her. Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: you know, uh, Brooke had to go to level twelve
- 22:03Speaker 1: in this movie to make up for her co star
- 22:06Speaker 1: Paybe to Leon. Oh my god, we're gonna get a
- 22:13Speaker 1: hate mail. I know you love him so much. I
- 22:16Speaker 1: was prepared. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
- 22:20Speaker 1: He was coming in on the heels of his Ashley
- 22:22Speaker 1: Williams renaissance moment. Let's get to that later.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I have a thought about him and our wish for
- 22:30Speaker 2: a category. Yeah, okay, I did think Talia and Anderson's
- 22:36Speaker 2: kiss was pretty steamy at the end, Like it was like,
- 22:40Speaker 2: not just like a smooched lips on lips. It was
- 22:42Speaker 2: kind of fodder than that. Okay, but that's where it ends.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Okay, that's where your like ends, or that's where your
- 22:50Speaker 1: enjoyment of their relationship ends. Both. Okay, Okay, let's let
- 22:54Speaker 1: me tell you what I liked. First of all, points
- 22:57Speaker 1: for executing a new style of movie. I think Hallmark
- 22:59Speaker 1: is trying a lot of things, throwing a lot at
- 23:01Speaker 1: the wall, see what sticks. They are trying really hard
- 23:04Speaker 1: to break out of the memification of the Hallmark movie
- 23:08Speaker 1: where it's very predictable. Again, it is still a Hallmark movie.
- 23:14Speaker 1: These things still exist. But I do think they are innovating,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and I think they get points for taking this movie
- 23:19Speaker 1: about a storybook town and giving it this storybook feel
- 23:22Speaker 1: with chapter one, etcetera.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Okay, okay, wait, hold on two questions for you based
- 23:26Speaker 2: on that. Yeah, Like, what is there what is so
- 23:30Speaker 2: different about this movie that is different from the other movies.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I don't know that the actual tale of the movie
- 23:38Speaker 1: itself is different except for in one way, but I
- 23:42Speaker 1: think visually having a narrator, having it set in chapters
- 23:47Speaker 1: as if you're reading a storybook that you fall into
- 23:50Speaker 1: to hear this story, I think that's a little bit different.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I also think the way the people in this town
- 23:57Speaker 1: act as if they have a secret is kind of
- 24:00Speaker 1: a vibe we're not super used to in these Hallmark movies,
- 24:04Speaker 1: particularly with Mildred. But we don't know their secret. You know,
- 24:09Speaker 1: it's not going to be very high stakes. It's a
- 24:11Speaker 1: Hallmark movie. But I did kind of like this intrigue
- 24:14Speaker 1: of like, why do we need this to work out
- 24:16Speaker 1: so badly? Okay, I can't remember my second question. All right,
- 24:21Speaker 1: tell me what else you liked. There's a moment when
- 24:23Speaker 1: Anderson is leaving the inn after he gets upset with
- 24:27Speaker 1: Talia because she's revealed that he lost a patient. Dude
- 24:29Speaker 1: to doctor, of course he lost a patient. Settled down Anderson,
- 24:33Speaker 1: Mermaid storms off. I'm like, stop it. But what I
- 24:37Speaker 1: loved about that moment is they're playing The background track
- 24:42Speaker 1: is a strings performance of O Holy Night, which is
- 24:45Speaker 1: my personal favorite Christmas song. It's a really beautiful performance.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And I think that moment as much as I was like,
- 24:49Speaker 1: why are you leaving? Cut the drama, dude, I thought
- 24:52Speaker 1: it was a really like sweet moment when she's like
- 24:55Speaker 1: watching him from the window again, Brooke brings the scene home.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I loved. My favorite thing about this movie is John Prows,
- 25:03Speaker 1: who plays Charles the widower. Oh my god. M hmm.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I was most invested in his character. I was most
- 25:10Speaker 1: invested in his story. I have a wish that involves
- 25:13Speaker 1: him later. I thought he did a fantastic job of
- 25:17Speaker 1: embodying this man who had lost his wife several years ago,
- 25:20Speaker 1: who hadn't really quite found his place in the world
- 25:23Speaker 1: without her. In his scene where he's talking to her
- 25:27Speaker 1: picture about going to the store and get almond milk, tears,
- 25:31Speaker 1: not just teared up, fell out of my eyes. This
- 25:33Speaker 1: is five minutes into the movie and I'm already crying.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yes, I that is on my Did you see that moment?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Wow?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yes, He's like, I got the almond milk and he's
- 25:43Speaker 2: sitting on the bed and.
- 25:44Speaker 1: It gives the picture a kiss. I was like, I
- 25:48Speaker 1: am wrecked. Yes, standing ovation for John Prows in this movie. Finally,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I liked mean girl Mildred. She made me laugh. She
- 25:55Speaker 1: was salty as hell and was a nice counterpoint to
- 26:00Speaker 1: Brook Dorsay's bubbly everything's going to be fine personality.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Okay, mil Dreading was given windy energy. Yeah, so opposite
- 26:11Speaker 2: of you. I did not like the chapters used throughout
- 26:14Speaker 2: this movie. I thought that transitions were terribly abrupt. It
- 26:18Speaker 2: was weird to me it. I don't know if it's
- 26:22Speaker 2: because I watched on Friendly and every time they would
- 26:26Speaker 2: show a chapter, it would break into a commercial.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, got Peacock.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I'm curious if I watched it on Peacock if it
- 26:33Speaker 2: was more fluid.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because the chapter closes in the next one opens.
- 26:37Speaker 1: There's no irreptile dysfunction medication in between chapter six and
- 26:41Speaker 1: chapter seven hundred.
- 26:42Speaker 2: For yes, I think definitely the viewing experience plays into that.
- 26:46Speaker 2: But I just thought the transitions were just it was
- 26:49Speaker 2: weird and glitchy.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And I didn't like it.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. I also did not like Talia's self doubt
- 26:58Speaker 2: about her unsuccessful writing career.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Oh come on, okay, listen, listen to me. Hear me out.
- 27:04Speaker 2: She was so concerned about letting her dad down, right,
- 27:07Speaker 2: Like she didn't become this person that he thought she
- 27:09Speaker 2: was going to be. She is still successful. She owns
- 27:12Speaker 2: a bookstore. She is a business owner. Like that is
- 27:17Speaker 2: something too.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I don't know that's an.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Accomplishment, right, Yes, life doesn't always go the way we imagine,
- 27:26Speaker 2: so stop complaining about it. Like, if you still want
- 27:29Speaker 2: to write, start a blog, like seriously, like I could
- 27:32Speaker 2: not get over this, Like Debbie Downer, nobody's publishing my stories,
- 27:40Speaker 2: which she kept calling my stories and my imagination you
- 27:45Speaker 2: don't like me because of.
- 27:46Speaker 1: My imagination is too wild.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I just was like, shut up, sorry, Wow, you know,
- 27:55Speaker 3: I hear what you're saying, and I I I think.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Maybe the message would have been more powerful if it
- 28:02Speaker 1: were like, you don't need to be a published author
- 28:04Speaker 1: to be a writer like anybody. Yes, writer if you
- 28:06Speaker 1: want to get writer or be a writer, yes, thank
- 28:09Speaker 1: he doesn't so yes, that's like okay, okay, you're summarizing
- 28:13Speaker 1: that for me, that is my feeling, okay to the core.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I have a couple other things I wish for, But
- 28:18Speaker 1: is there stuff that you wished for? Sure? I wish
- 28:21Speaker 1: sure a few things. First, more people in Wonder Book
- 28:25Speaker 1: explain They explain why at the end, Well, because people
- 28:29Speaker 1: don't read the story, right mm hmm. But that explains
- 28:33Speaker 1: why people aren't coming to Wonder Book. But shouldn't people
- 28:36Speaker 1: live there? Oh? Yeah, they've got all these Christmas festivities
- 28:40Speaker 1: and there's not a damn person there is this.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Supposed to be like uh like Christmas purgatory, Like what
- 28:45Speaker 2: are those people doing.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Right the rest of the year. What do they does
- 28:49Speaker 1: it just fast forward? Do they only exist in the
- 28:51Speaker 1: week before Christmas? That's a great question. Yes, but I
- 28:56Speaker 1: needed a few more background actors for me to really
- 28:58Speaker 1: feel the magic of this magical Christmas time.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Hm.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Okay. My second wish is that Ryan would have sparkled
- 29:04Speaker 1: the way that I think Brook does on screen, but
- 29:06Speaker 1: he does not. I was less invested in their romance
- 29:09Speaker 1: then I should have been. Finally, a wish for the future,
- 29:15Speaker 1: a vision perhaps. Do you think we could see a
- 29:18Speaker 1: fabled holiday return to Wonderbrook with an entirely new cast
- 29:21Speaker 1: of characters, But of course the magical ones all stay
- 29:25Speaker 1: and John Prows gets to return as a member of
- 29:28Speaker 1: the town of Wonderbrook, and we get a Brook Dorsay cameo,
- 29:32Speaker 1: a lah Ashley Williams in Christmas and Evergreen. But Ryan
- 29:35Speaker 1: Baby can stay home?
- 29:36Speaker 2: Okay, well, yes, I think that's completely possible that they
- 29:40Speaker 2: can definitely make I mean, if they can make time
- 29:43Speaker 2: to come home for Christmas into sixteen different movies, they
- 29:46Speaker 2: can make this, you know, a sequel or two, right,
- 29:49Speaker 2: there's four Evergreen movies, come on, But this is where
- 29:52Speaker 2: you get confused that now do tell YOUA and Anderson
- 29:55Speaker 2: they don't live there in wonder Burke anymore.
- 29:57Speaker 1: But why does the widow widow guy do? Because he
- 30:02Speaker 1: falls in love with Mildred, he gets to stay.
- 30:05Speaker 2: But see this is where, well's I know what's pretend
- 30:10Speaker 2: this is?
- 30:10Speaker 1: I can't I can't like wrap my head around it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Do you understand? Like it doesn't exist in real life?
- 30:18Speaker 1: So how are those people there? Okay, but maybe it
- 30:21Speaker 1: does exist in real life, but well it exists, I
- 30:24Speaker 1: don't know. Only the people who have read the book
- 30:26Speaker 1: can find the town. That's the deal, I guess. Yes,
- 30:29Speaker 1: there are some questions that we need answered. But but
- 30:34Speaker 1: Charles gets to stay because he and me and Mildred
- 30:37Speaker 1: are going to live happily ever after. He's going to
- 30:40Speaker 1: get to find joy again. But Anderson and Tellia don't
- 30:45Speaker 1: stay because that doesn't for a fair story. They get
- 30:47Speaker 1: to go back home and she gets to be an
- 30:49Speaker 1: author and he gets to be a doctor who occasionally
- 30:52Speaker 1: kills people. Okay, let me talk about two things that
- 30:55Speaker 1: I wished for. Okay, when they would do the chime
- 30:58Speaker 1: noise throughout the movie? Yeah like that?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:02Speaker 1: And whatever?
- 31:03Speaker 2: And first of all, I was annoyed because she'd be like,
- 31:05Speaker 2: did you hear that? Like more than once drove me crazy.
- 31:09Speaker 2: And then I would notice, like every time the chime
- 31:10Speaker 2: noise would happen, everybody would look up to the sky, like,
- 31:13Speaker 2: what are you looking for up there? The chime noise
- 31:16Speaker 2: is not coming from the sky, you know what I mean? Like,
- 31:19Speaker 2: obviously they don't hear the chime noise when they're making
- 31:21Speaker 2: the movie, but they But the direction is everybody look up.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Like it's just drove instead of look around. Yes, they
- 31:30Speaker 1: all looked up towards the sky. Okay.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Also, let's talk about Brook and Pavee. Okay, this couple
- 31:41Speaker 2: was so boring together. I think Payvee is so one
- 31:45Speaker 2: dimensional and I was really really like, I think he
- 31:51Speaker 2: is a very handsome man. I like how he has
- 31:56Speaker 2: got like a little salt and pepper in his hair.
- 31:58Speaker 2: He's very natural and good looking.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I like that. I'm very drawn to him.
- 32:03Speaker 2: However, in every movie, with the exception of Two Tickets
- 32:09Speaker 2: to Paradise, he is stiff as a board. He is
- 32:12Speaker 2: so one dimensional and boring. I do not care about
- 32:14Speaker 2: his character. I didn't care about his job. I didn't
- 32:17Speaker 2: want them to be together He could have been completely
- 32:22Speaker 2: not in this movie and it could have been solely
- 32:25Speaker 2: about her. It still would have been a good movie
- 32:27Speaker 2: if it was about her. They don't need this love
- 32:30Speaker 2: interest in the movie. But you said every Christmas movie
- 32:32Speaker 2: has a love interest in it, so I think they
- 32:35Speaker 2: should have made it about her, and then that would
- 32:37Speaker 2: have been a really different Hallmark movie.
- 32:39Speaker 1: So Charles and Mildred get together. There's your love story exactly?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Love you exactly? Can I give a little peek behind
- 32:47Speaker 1: the curtain of Girls Gone Hallmark real quick? Wendy has
- 32:51Speaker 1: suggested that the future of Girls Gone Hallmark needs to
- 32:54Speaker 1: include more interviews with Briston crew, and I'm not a
- 32:59Speaker 1: post to this in theory, but what I want to
- 33:01Speaker 1: know from the fellow Hallmark podcasters out there, how do
- 33:04Speaker 1: you balance an interview with the cast and crew with
- 33:07Speaker 1: the fact that at some point you might say something
- 33:11Speaker 1: on to hear yeah, Because I don't come here to
- 33:14Speaker 1: be mean, I don't sit down. I'm like, well, I'm
- 33:17Speaker 1: gonna shit all over this movie today and I'm gonna
- 33:18Speaker 1: enjoy it. There's no joy in that for me. But
- 33:20Speaker 1: I also don't want to make a Hallmark movie podcast
- 33:22Speaker 1: where I go they're great, that was fine, this was nice.
- 33:25Speaker 1: There's no value in that either. So how do I
- 33:28Speaker 1: say things like Wooden Baby and then be like, hey,
- 33:31Speaker 1: you want to come on the podcast Orpia? How do
- 33:34Speaker 1: we do that? I don't that's a good question.
- 33:37Speaker 2: I don't know, But I but like you, I don't
- 33:39Speaker 2: want to sit here and be like, oh, yeah, he's
- 33:40Speaker 2: so nice to look at it. And I enjoyed him
- 33:42Speaker 2: as an actor in this movie.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I really didn't.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I don't know if it's a miscast or if it's
- 33:47Speaker 2: just him. He works a lot, so somebody likes him.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Please email the show Megan and Wendy at gmail dot com. Also,
- 33:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask this in our Facebook group. What do
- 33:59Speaker 1: you feel about Hallmark podcasts that also do interviews? Do
- 34:04Speaker 1: you appreciate them? Do you want more of them? Do
- 34:07Speaker 1: you want more movie talk? Let us know? Are you
- 34:10Speaker 1: ready for digitee? That? Sure? My first one is in
- 34:13Speaker 1: all caps? The bells? WTF? How close are you watching
- 34:17Speaker 1: this movie? Not that closely? They do a procession of
- 34:20Speaker 1: the bells and they're like, they give everybody bells to
- 34:25Speaker 1: ring as they're walking.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Now, first of all, oh, I remember the scene.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Okay, Brooke and Ryan are having it as they're walking,
- 34:30Speaker 1: but as they're handed the bells, they're like, don't worry,
- 34:32Speaker 1: the bells kind of know what to do. There's absolutely
- 34:35Speaker 1: no effort to ring these bells in time with the
- 34:38Speaker 1: ringing of the bells that is happening as they're walking,
- 34:41Speaker 1: And I know that would be a very hard thing
- 34:44Speaker 1: to do because they definitely can't hear it, so they're
- 34:47Speaker 1: just like I imagine someone off screen trying to silently
- 34:50Speaker 1: keep time so they know when to ring. But I
- 34:53Speaker 1: was like, this is very distracting to me because the
- 34:55Speaker 1: bell is not ringing when it should be ringing. Is
- 34:57Speaker 1: all I got it. Yeah, I do remember that scene.
- 35:00Speaker 1: We're not lying too, but I didn't watch it back closely.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yes, the couple that is at the Wonderbrook Hotel, the
- 35:06Speaker 2: one that is going through some marital strife. They may
- 35:09Speaker 2: be divorcing them. Who's the first time we've talked about them.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I did not like them.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Go ahead, this is not much.
- 35:15Speaker 2: But there's this one scene and she says, she says,
- 35:19Speaker 2: we should get some souvenirs from the Christmas market, and
- 35:22Speaker 2: he responds, this is probably not this season we want
- 35:27Speaker 2: to remember.
- 35:28Speaker 1: And I was like right to the heart, like that hurts.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Like she was like hoping maybe like you know, rekindling
- 35:38Speaker 2: something like maybe they have this special moment of collecting
- 35:41Speaker 2: a souvenir.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I don't know. He's like, yeah, I don't want to
- 35:44Speaker 1: remember this with you. Ouch ouch indeed, question, Yeah, do
- 35:52Speaker 1: you think Talia's wardrobe is a nod to this being
- 35:55Speaker 1: a childhood story? Because girlfriend has ruffles and bows almost
- 36:00Speaker 1: every scene?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Megan, I have a line that says Talia wore bows
- 36:04Speaker 2: in her hair too many times for an adult woman,
- 36:09Speaker 2: And that's interesting that you bring that up. I could
- 36:12Speaker 2: buy into that, I guess, but it's weird though.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Right it's noticeable. I thought, like the occasional bow, but
- 36:21Speaker 1: it was in almost every scene, and I thought, that's
- 36:24Speaker 1: gotta be intentional. Our sitters were roughly she wore bows
- 36:29Speaker 1: in her hair, she's got pigtails when she arrives in
- 36:31Speaker 1: wonder Brook. Any one of those things on its own
- 36:36Speaker 1: is unremarkable, I think. But the combination I think was intentional.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Now now you're saying that, it makes me feel like
- 36:44Speaker 2: I really don't like that.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Because it just there's something weird to.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Me about like having adult play like dress up for like.
- 36:54Speaker 1: This children's story.
- 36:57Speaker 2: It's just it's just weird to me things one time,
- 37:01Speaker 2: and I'm sorry again for.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Bagging on Ryan.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Patty Brook says to him, like, you know, she confesses
- 37:10Speaker 2: like her love for him or whatever, and he says, I.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Have feelings for you too, Like he's so like, that's it.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I have feelings for you too, but you know, in
- 37:22Speaker 2: the driest possible way.
- 37:24Speaker 1: But she says, I have feelings for you. She's echoing
- 37:28Speaker 1: her words. She is fine, but it's I have feelings.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 37:32Speaker 1: He doesn't sparkle.
- 37:33Speaker 2: No, that's good. He does not sparkle. The last the
- 37:36Speaker 2: last note here, and this is a truly did you
- 37:39Speaker 2: see that? When Talia is at her like book launch
- 37:45Speaker 2: right back in her store, they have a poster with
- 37:48Speaker 2: her face on it and her name on it for
- 37:50Speaker 2: her book and her name is Talia Monroe, which is
- 37:54Speaker 2: the last name of our director.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Huh spell the same way? Am you? Anahrrh yep? Nice catch?
- 38:02Speaker 1: Thank you very much. What did you read this? I
- 38:06Speaker 1: gave it two stars.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I gave it three, Okay, I wanted to give it
- 38:11Speaker 2: one and a half, but I didn't want to be mean.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I am reading it almost like exclusively on the John
- 38:20Speaker 1: prot storyline. Yeah, that touched me. We've got a lot
- 38:24Speaker 1: coming up on Hallmark. There are still some movies to
- 38:26Speaker 1: look forward to, particularly this Weekend's Christmas Class Reunion as
- 38:30Speaker 1: well as Jonathan Bennett's The Holiday Sitter. We will be
- 38:33Speaker 1: covering both of those next week. Before you go, hop
