Transcript
- 0:04Welcome to the Days of Noah podcast where we talk all things
- 0:07biblical, supernatural, and strange.
- 0:11I'm joined by my good friend Rod Smith from the Millennial
- 0:14Mustard Seed podcast as he and I discuss a very hot button issue
- 0:20in our culture today. Is modern Israel a counterfeit
- 0:26or a fulfillment of biblical prophecy?
- 0:29We're going to look at the roots of Zionism.
- 0:32Is it a modern construct? Is it a biblical construct right
- 0:37from the book of Genesis? In a nutshell, the answer to
- 0:40that question is yes to both. We're going to look at the roots
- 0:44of Zionism, where it came from, and we're going to look at how
- 0:48in the early church they took the Bible literally until Greek
- 0:53influence from Alexandria came in to interpret the Bible
- 0:58allegorically. And this interpretive process
- 1:02led to the idea that Israel has been replaced by the church and
- 1:08all of its blessings and conveniently none of its curses
- 1:12has been passed to the church, and any prophecies yet to be
- 1:16fulfilled have been fulfilled in Christ.
- 1:20We're going to take a close look at that idea and how all of
- 1:23these things originated hundreds of years ago and LED to an
- 1:28incredible amount of hate and mistreatment of the Jewish
- 1:32people by Christians. And this hatred LED right into
- 1:37Nazi Germany. I believe it was the late Chuck
- 1:40Missler that said we can trace a line from Augustine to
- 1:45Auschwitz. And it really is true,
- 1:48Unfortunately, we need to seek God's heart regarding this issue
- 1:53of Israel and not have carte blanche support for them, but
- 2:00understand the complexity of it all.
- 2:02Looking at Romans 9 through 11 as Paul lays out God's heart for
- 2:09this people. Guys, thanks so much for being
- 2:12out there listening. We do appreciate each and
- 2:14everyone of you listening to these episodes and if you get
- 2:17value from our work and enjoy it, please do us a favor and
- 2:21leave us a positive or five star review on your favorite podcast
- 2:25platform. And if you'd like to support us
- 2:28beyond that, there are some support options in the show
- 2:31notes and coming soon, guys, stay tuned.
- 2:35We are going to be launching A subscriber option where you can

- 2:49you the convenience of having no ads whatsoever on any of the
- 2:53episodes. So stay tuned for that as we
- 2:56will be launching that in the near future.
- 2:59So with that, let's get started talking about the roots of
- 3:01Zionism, Jew hatred, and replacement theology.
- 3:13All right, well, welcome back to another episode.
- 3:15I am Pete, the host of the Days of Noah, as you know, and I'm
- 3:19here with my de facto Co host, Rod Smith from The Millennial
- 3:25Mustard Seed. What's up, Rod?
- 3:27What's going on, Pete? Good to be here, man.
- 3:30Good to have you. This is not a mini.
- 3:33It's not a micro mini this time. No, it it should be listed in
- 3:39the Dovetail awards because the Dovetail.
- 3:41Awards. Yeah, maybe, maybe that's
- 3:43something brand new we'll work on.
- 3:45But no, I mean, when you introduce this idea to me, I was
- 3:48like, yeah, because it's timely what we're going to, what you're
- 3:51going to be discussing. And I'll kind of chime in as I
- 3:54feel led by the Spirit and this is an important topic.
- 3:57Yeah. So what is the important topic?
- 3:59Well, it dovetails and is kind of a commentary on the episode I
- 4:06released with Sean from Sgt. Report when he invited me on his
- 4:11show and we were talking about Israel.
- 4:14And there is a very hot issue debate raging these days as the
- 4:23whole October 7th, 2023 is being investigated.
- 4:27And those like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson are saying, hey,
- 4:31wait a minute, why are we giving such support to these people who
- 4:35are doing awful things? And the term Christian Zionism,
- 4:41it's not a new term, but it's a pejorative.
- 4:44It's thought of as a bad thing. And so, you know, pretty much
- 4:50since October 7th, I've really tried to understand this issue
- 4:55of how to think about Israel. But since getting ready for that
- 5:00recording with Sean, and that was about two months ago as of
- 5:05when we're recording now in late January, I've just continued
- 5:10that track of trying to research this stuff.
- 5:13I've probably listened to 80 to 100 hours of YouTube and audio
- 5:23books and Kindle books being read to me by a computer voice.
- 5:30And it's it's really opened my eyes up to the origin of where
- 5:37we got off track in interpreting the Bible and also understanding
- 5:43the end times eschatology. And why is that so important?
- 5:47Well, if I'm going to have a show called the Days of Noah
- 5:50podcast, I kind of better know what the days of Noah means to
- 5:54me and what it means biblically from my understanding.
- 5:59And of course that that is a futurist point of view, right,
- 6:03Rod? It's we're expecting a literal
- 6:05Antichrist, the literal Jesus returning to the earth, a
- 6:09literal tribulation period, a literal mark of the beast.
- 6:13These things are all upcoming. And I, I also have been
- 6:18listening to a lot of Joel Richardson really liking his
- 6:20stuff. So Andy Woods, Doctor Michael
- 6:25Brown. I mean, I, I hope to have these
- 6:29kind of people on the show to really tackle some of these
- 6:33issues one by one. But we're going to give you guys
- 6:37kind of a smattering of these different topics as we comment
- 6:42on my recording with Sean and the Israel issue and the
- 6:49allegorical interpretation of the Bible issue.
- 6:53And that's where a lot of these things start.
- 6:55So I'll start with this. The allegorical interpretation
- 7:00of the Bible was something that was popularized by Augustine,
- 7:06and he pretty much got it from origin.
- 7:09So origin was in the Alexandria school, which was kind of across
- 7:17the lake from Greece. And so there was a lot of
- 7:20Gnostic and Platonism and all sorts of different philosophical
- 7:24ideas about how the world worked and they had.
- 7:29In Gnosticism there is this dualistic view that the
- 7:34spiritual is the good and the pure, and the physical is the
- 7:40bad and the evil and nothing redeemable about it.
- 7:46And with that idea came the spiritualizing of literal things
- 7:53in the Bible. So even though Jesus fulfilled
- 7:56something like 300 prophecies to the T, to the letter, every jot
- 8:02and title was fulfilled in his first coming.
- 8:06Somehow we have this idea since Augustine popularized it and the
- 8:11Catholic Church ran with it and the reformers didn't reform
- 8:16against it. That there's no such thing as a
- 8:19literal Millennium. And God is done with the Jews
- 8:24that Israel's time has passed. They are no longer the chosen
- 8:29people. The church now is the real
- 8:33Israel. All of that comes from
- 8:37spiritualizing, and all of that comes from the allegorical
- 8:40interpretation. That is the origin of
- 8:44replacement theology, which says that the Church has replaced
- 8:48Israel. And so that's kind of what I was
- 8:53trying to push back against on Sean's show without bringing up
- 8:57that term because to him and his listeners, so much of their
- 9:04point of view is Zionism is a modern construct.
- 9:09It comes from the Rothschild banking elite.
- 9:12It comes from this New World order power structure.
- 9:17And you know, Darby in his dispensational thinking in the
- 9:221830s, well, guess what, He was a contemporary and A and
- 9:26connected with the Rothschild family.
- 9:28And so of course his views about Israel having a place in the end
- 9:33times and the Jewish state of Israel that came about in 1948.
- 9:40Well, that was all a work of this banking elite trying to
- 9:45carve out a power structure for themselves.
- 9:49And I don't negate that that's possible, in fact, even likely.
- 9:56But as I talked about with Sean, since when does an evil king up
- 10:02to evil things mean that Israel is not Israel?
- 10:07You had King Ahab, Ahab, for crying out loud, Jezebel.
- 10:13You had some of these kings that were, you know, building altars
- 10:18to Molech and sacrificing their children, putting them through
- 10:22the fire. You can't get much more wicked
- 10:26than what they were doing. Temple prostitution, you know,
- 10:30marrying, you know, Nephilim tribes, intermarrying with them,
- 10:33bringing their Pagan gods into Israel.
- 10:37It was still Israel. So that's kind of a long winded
- 10:43intro to to what we're going to talk about.
- 10:46And I'll throw it to Rod for a second just to to comment or add
- 10:49anything on that before we launch into some of the bullet
- 10:52points we have. As usual, I've got way too much
- 10:56to cover, but hopefully this sets up a foundation for talking
- 11:01about these topics in the future.
- 11:05Yeah, I mean, there's a lot going on here, right?
- 11:08And this is definitely a meaty subject.
- 11:10So people that are brand new to the faith or people that are not
- 11:14actually walking in true faith, the substance of things.
- 11:18So for the evidence of the unseen and a surrendered heart
- 11:21may throw this topic to the wayside.
- 11:25Some people are indifferent, some people have very strong
- 11:27views on being an anti semite or replacement.
- 11:32The all of these different keywords that can get you, well,
- 11:36let's just say not happy with the algorithm.
- 11:39But it is a serious question and I believe it's one that really
- 11:43needs to be discussed with a humble and open mind where the
- 11:47spirit has the room to help us along the way.
- 11:51I mean, he's the teacher of all things that are to be taught
- 11:55that are pure, that are from the Lord.
- 11:57So from where I'm coming from, I do not have much research on
- 12:02this. I don't have much desire to go
- 12:08into it with a dogmatic stance of any sort and kind.
- 12:12I've been very malleable. I think I can see both sides of
- 12:15it to some extent because I agree with certain things that
- 12:18Candace will say, but that is not an endorsement for her
- 12:22content or her character or what she does at all.
- 12:27I'm noted for being the guy who says we all have a little
- 12:30something wrong and we all have a little something right.
- 12:32So as we kind of start diving into it, and Pete, as you start
- 12:35kind of going through this systematically and setting up,
- 12:38you know, a bit of a template of how to view this and build the
- 12:41case for, do we have the full picture?
- 12:44What is the ultimate truth here? I'll just start by saying each
- 12:49of the listeners pray about this.
- 12:51If you're in the meat of God's Word, this is a serious topic.
- 12:55It's better to have an answer and not have a microphone to
- 12:58shout into, then for it to come knocking on your door and be
- 13:01blindsided. So I think that you guys are
- 13:03listening to the days of Noah and to the MMS.
- 13:06God is using us to plant seeds, to go ahead in a way and kind of
- 13:10be a the tip of a spear. So give us some grace if we
- 13:13don't have everything right. But remember, we're also doing
- 13:16this as a body. This is a journey.
- 13:19Yeah, yeah. That's that's very true.
- 13:21So yeah, I'm not going to get everything right either.
- 13:25So definitely be a good Berean and look into these things.
- 13:29And I'll, I'll try to give you some resources for you to do
- 13:32your own research that way. But so just Full disclosure from
- 13:38where I'm coming from and anybody that's listened to me
- 13:40long enough knows that I do tend to take a literal hermeneutic to
- 13:46the Bible. And so when I was unpacking this
- 13:52idea of what is dispensationalism, I immediately
- 13:56latched on. This was about two months ago.
- 14:00I've heard the term, didn't know if I identified with it or not.
- 14:04But when someone defined it as, Oh, well, dispensationalism is
- 14:10simply taking a literal, historical, grammatical
- 14:15hermeneutic to the Bible, unless there's some reason to
- 14:20spiritualize it, if the text just doesn't work at all
- 14:24literally, or there's something in the text that says it should
- 14:27be spiritual, we generally take it at face value.
- 14:31And I thought, well, OK, I'm, I'm a dispensationalist then.
- 14:35Well, then I found out there's more baggage to that rod
- 14:39smiling. There's a lot more baggage to
- 14:41that. And I, I think there's so much
- 14:43wisdom to a little something right or a little something
- 14:46wrong. The late Jim Rohn said be a
- 14:49disciple of no one except the Lords.
- 14:53And so I want to, I want to read a few thoughts that have to do
- 14:57with that and from where I'm coming from, because a lot of
- 15:02these ideas about how to think about Israel and are there
- 15:06prophecies yet to be fulfilled. You have to start with what is
- 15:12your hermeneutic to approaching the Bible?
- 15:14If you don't start there, then you can fill in the blank for
- 15:19any type of view. You have to know where are you
- 15:21on that paradigm of allegorical versus literal.
- 15:25And there's it's not to say that there is an allegory in the
- 15:28Bible. There is Rod, and I've talked
- 15:30about this many times. There's so many layers to things
- 15:33that are in the Bible. It's not just the surface.
- 15:38God often has multiple layers. Yeah, the multi layered effect,
- 15:43right. And I think it was the late
- 15:44Doctor Chuck Missler that said if you torture the text long
- 15:48enough, you can get it to say whatever you want.
- 15:51So one of the really big deals that we need to consider as
- 15:54Bereans, as ambassadors, as children of God is are we giving
- 15:59the spirit room? But there's this staunch turning
- 16:04point right now in today's day and age where it's a popular
- 16:07topic, which I think is dangerous, Pete, because there's
- 16:11a lot of people that are not bringing the fear of the Lord,
- 16:14the wisdom of the Lord into it. And I do like your approach.
- 16:16I mean, just what we talked about, all fair.
- 16:18And what you did with Sean on the SGGT report was done quite
- 16:24well. So I'm excited to get into what
- 16:27you have here. Yeah, sounds good.
- 16:29Thank you for that. And all right, so again, there
- 16:32is an idea today that Christian Zionism is a modern construct
- 16:37invented and brought about by the Rothschild banking elites,
- 16:41popularized by Darby and the Schofield Reference Bible with
- 16:45all his notes that he added. And to an extent that's true
- 16:50when it comes to political Zionism as the state of Israel,
- 16:56but it is in fact an unconditional covenant that God
- 16:59gave to Abraham for their homeland.
- 17:03And, and the land was only one aspect of it and therefore it
- 17:08did not arise in the 19th century.
- 17:12But from the very first book of the Bible, Genesis, Satan loves
- 17:19to get rid of every baby along with every bath.
- 17:24So a bath cleanses, right? But he wants to throw the baby
- 17:29out. So whenever God does a genuine
- 17:34move, Satan wants to counterfeit it and corrupt it and make
- 17:39overreaching happen. So the Reformers, they pushed
- 17:45back against the errors that was in the Roman Catholic Church,
- 17:49but they didn't go far enough and they got some things wrong
- 17:52and they held on to some things from the Catholic Church that
- 17:55they shouldn't have. Darby got some things wrong.
- 17:59I've been studying the pre Trib versus post Trib rapture and as
- 18:06of today I don't feel there is support for the pre Trib rapture
- 18:12that all of the verses that seem to point to.
- 18:14It can be explained as not necessarily needing a we're
- 18:22taking you out or God is saying we're taking you out of the
- 18:25earth in order to accomplish. But I'll leave that for another
- 18:29topic. That was a big thing to do with
- 18:31Darby and dispensationalism. That's why I bring that up
- 18:34because the pre Trib rapture is something that does not exist in
- 18:39church history until the 1800s. Augustine got some things wrong
- 18:45even though he was pushing a back against heresy in his day.
- 18:48Every move of God, Satan tries to create errors and
- 18:52overreaches. And I think in my opinion, God
- 18:56lets this happen on purpose. So we don't follow anyone,
- 18:59system, one person, etcetera, etcetera, except for Him and His
- 19:04word. So in this time period of
- 19:07history, knowledge has increased and so people are aware of evil
- 19:13that used to be covered up and only known in small circles.
- 19:17So I think what's happening is people are calling out the evil
- 19:21where they see it, but they forget that nothing escapes
- 19:25God's view or control. So think of the sound bites we
- 19:29would hear from the Tucker Carlson's and the Candace Owens
- 19:32of the world. If Ahab was in charge of Israel
- 19:35today or any other of the evil abominable leaders that Israel's
- 19:42had in the pages of the Old Testament, would they have a
- 19:47point calling out that evil? Absolutely.
- 19:52But as I said with Sean, we need to enlarge our paradigm.
- 19:57So here's my prediction in the end times that hate for Jews and
- 20:02Christians will reach a crescendo under the beasts one
- 20:07world government system when the natural root.
- 20:11This comes from language in Romans.
- 20:14That, Paul wrote, is grafted back in and we become one bride,
- 20:20right? We're called the bride of
- 20:21Christ. Well, where does that language
- 20:23come from? It actually comes from the Old
- 20:24Testament with Israel. So this idea that the church has
- 20:28replaced Israel, Paul soundly refutes that in Romans where he
- 20:32says you Gentiles are being grafted in.
- 20:36We are the wild olive branch being grafted in and he warns
- 20:42Gentiles not to become arrogant and think we replace them, but
- 20:47recognizing that the root supports us.
- 20:51So I think as Jews come to Christ and are grafted back in,
- 20:59the natural branches are going to be grafted back in how they
- 21:04were meant to, embracing Jesus as their Messiah.
- 21:08The hate for Jews and the hate for Christians will reach that
- 21:11crescendo. And the world is being prepared
- 21:14right now for that hatred, for us to be the marginalized ones
- 21:21who are not getting along with the world's program and we are
- 21:28getting in the way of peace. If it weren't for you Jesus
- 21:33lovers, Rod, maybe you could pull up Romans 11.
- 21:39There's a few things in there that I want to read.
- 21:42And while you're getting that ready, I'm going to, I'm going
- 21:45to read a quote from J Richards, JW Richards.
- 21:49I found an article on the Heritage Foundation that I
- 21:52thought was really well done on the topic of Christian Zionism.
- 21:58And he says this, he makes an analogy says functionally
- 22:01separating anti Zionism and anti-Semitism is kind of like
- 22:06claiming that no one has any animus towards the Japanese,
- 22:10they just believe Japan should not exist.
- 22:13The analogy would be better if other nations had oppressed the
- 22:17Japanese for centuries and if Japan were now surrounded by
- 22:21hostile neighbors who deny its right to exist and would
- 22:25eviscerate it if given half a chance.
- 22:29So he's making the point that saying that Zionism is an evil
- 22:34construct, while it might be Co opted by the Rothschilds of the
- 22:38world. I don't doubt that there is a
- 22:42very thin veil between anti-Semitism and anti Zionism.
- 22:48Another point I want to make is something that Joel Richardson
- 22:53pointed out, and he's got an excellent book that I just
- 22:56started to read today called When a Jew, When a Jew Rules the
- 23:01World about Christ's return, and he documents how Hitler's Jew
- 23:06hatred, This is not a new thing. This was a common attitude among
- 23:11Christians for hundreds of years, and it's really been just
- 23:18as much a part of Christianity as the belief in the Trinity or
- 23:23Jesus being the Incarnate God. That's something we don't often
- 23:28hear about our own church history.
- 23:32And on Chuck Missler's website, Koinonia House, he has an
- 23:39article on the origin and outcome of replacement theology,
- 23:43and I'll try to remember to put a link to that in the show
- 23:46notes. But he has quotes from early
- 23:50church fathers. Ignatius of Antioch said he
- 23:54taught that those who partake of the Passover are partakers of
- 23:58those who killed Jesus. Just in martyr claims God's
- 24:02covenant with Israel is no longer valid and the Gentiles
- 24:05had replaced them. Irenaeus declared the Jews were
- 24:08disinherited from the grace of God.
- 24:10Tertullian blamed the Jews for the death of Jesus and argued
- 24:14they have been rejected origin responsible for much
- 24:17anti-Semitism, all of which was based on his assertion the Jews
- 24:21responsible for killing Jesus. And later I'm going to read a
- 24:27quote and I'm going to let you guys guess who said this quote.
- 24:35I'm going to get it ready, but I'm going to throw it to Rod for
- 24:39some verses from Romans 11/1 through 4, I think, and then
- 24:46jump down to 18 through 22. Starting at verse one, I say
- 24:53then has God castaway His people?
- 24:56Certainly not, for I also am an Israelite, the seed of Abraham,
- 25:04of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast his people whom
- 25:10He foreknew. Or do you not know what the
- 25:13scripture says of Elijah, how he pled with God against Israel,
- 25:18saying, Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your
- 25:22altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.
- 25:28But what does this divine response say to him?
- 25:33I have reserved myself 7000 men who have not bowed the knee to
- 25:40bow ascending verse 4. I'm going to jump down to Romans
- 25:4411 starting in verse 18 now. Actually, start with the start
- 25:48with 17 through 22. 17 And if some of the branches were broken
- 25:54off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among
- 25:58them, and with them became a partaker of the root and the
- 26:03fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches.
- 26:08But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the
- 26:11root, but the root supports you. You will say then branches were
- 26:16broken off, that I might be grafted in.
- 26:19Well said. Because of unbelief they were
- 26:21broken off. And you stand by faith.
- 26:25Do not be haughty, but fear God. For if God did not spare the
- 26:32natural branches, He may not spare you either.
- 26:36Therefore consider the goodness and the severity of God on those
- 26:41who fell severity but towards you goodness, if you continue in
- 26:48His goodness, otherwise you also will be cut off.
- 26:55Very, very interesting. God is using the word Israelite
- 27:00here and he's relaying that in the very beginning as we read up
- 27:04in verse 4, a seed of Abraham, and you can see how it's being
- 27:09tied to the faith, new more numerous than the stars.
- 27:14So I think that there's some hermeneutic expectations to be
- 27:17able to break down what a Jew is versus an Israelite versus a,
- 27:22you know, an ambassador maybe, or a son of God, right?
- 27:27And and this is once again, it comes back to what I talk about
- 27:29on my show over the course of many years is a language war.
- 27:33Sometimes we mean the same thing, but the dispositions that
- 27:37the oppositions are actually because of the set up what
- 27:41language has done to these sub pockets where there's a realm
- 27:44effect. You say one thing with a motive
- 27:47that's pure, but your language does not jive with what I'm
- 27:50hearing on the East Coast, right.
- 27:52And it's like we do see this show up quite a bit.
- 27:55And I think that This is why the scriptures literally command a
- 27:59study to show thyself well approved.
- 28:02Because if love is this qualifying, you know, Excellency
- 28:08from God, that, that if we do anything outside of love, it's
- 28:11vanity, it's worthless, it doesn't matter.
- 28:13Then it really would be a journey for us to to say, I'm
- 28:17going to love the indifference. I'm going to love long enough
- 28:19because Love's gentle, patient kind.
- 28:21It doesn't demand, it doesn't envy, right?
- 28:23So it really does show that if you're willing to work this
- 28:27thing out and take a couple years and some bruises and some
- 28:30swings at your name for trying to get people to understand
- 28:33this, I think that that is a sign of fruit.
- 28:36And Pete, I see that me and you and many others like us are
- 28:39doing the very the very thing that the scriptures are calling
- 28:42us to. But in a nutshell, I just wanted
- 28:45to point out real quick after reading, you know, Romans 11/1
- 28:48through 4:00 and then started at 17 through 22 there, that the
- 28:52Scriptures are associating Israelites with faith in the Sea
- 28:58of Abraham. It's fascinating, Fascinating.
- 29:00Yeah, yeah, and and he's warning not to be arrogant towards the
- 29:07branches. If you're a wild olive, shoot,
- 29:10that's the Gentiles. Don't be arrogant towards them.
- 29:13Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.
- 29:16As the early church was taken over numerically by Gentiles and
- 29:23the Jewish Christians were the minority.
- 29:27There was quite the pushback over the church history to
- 29:33disparage and remove that Jewishness from them.
- 29:39And, and many of the Church Fathers and, and the early
- 29:42Catholic Church right through the Middle Ages, even the
- 29:45Reformers, all sorts of laws and edicts were pass to persecute
- 29:51them, to kick them out of the church, to kick them out of the
- 29:56city, you know, burned alive all sorts of things.
- 30:01You know, one, one guy gave him a invited him to a sermon.
- 30:05And if they didn't convert after the sermon, they were
- 30:09excommunicated, this sort of thing.
- 30:12And, and again, this comes from having an allegorical
- 30:16interpretation that the church has replaced Israel and God
- 30:21really doesn't have any special plans for Israel left.
- 30:26I want to read this quote and and ask you guys, the listeners
- 30:30to think of who might have said this.
- 30:36What then, shall we Christians do with this damned rejected
- 30:40race of Jews? First, their synagogues should
- 30:43be set on fire. Whatever does not burn up should
- 30:47be covered or spread over with dirt, so no one may ever be able
- 30:51to see a cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for
- 30:55the honor of God and of Christianity, in order that God
- 30:58may see that we are Christians. Secondly, their homes should
- 31:02likewise be broken down and destroyed, for they perpetrate
- 31:07the same things that their that they do in their synagogues, and
- 31:12for this reason they ought to be put under one roof or in a
- 31:16stable like gypsies, in order that they may realize that they
- 31:19are not masters in our land, as they boast, but miserable
- 31:24captives. Thirdly, they should be deprived
- 31:26of their prayer books and Talmud's, in which such
- 31:30idolatry, lies, cursing, and blasphemy are taught.
- 31:34Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threat of death
- 31:37to teach anymore. And to sum up, dear Princess,
- 31:40and nobles who have Jews in your domains, if this advice of mine
- 31:44does not suit you, then find a better one, so that you and we
- 31:49may all be free of this insufferable devilish burden.
- 31:53The Jews next to the devil. A Christian has no more bitter
- 31:58and galling foe than the Jew. Are those the words of Hamas or
- 32:12Hitler? No, they come from Martin
- 32:18Luther. Wow.
- 32:23And he's not the only church leader in history to have such
- 32:28rhetoric, unfortunately. And I'm saying this as someone
- 32:32who grew up Lutheran, and Luther did a number of wonderful things
- 32:37for Christianity, and he didn't start out this way.
- 32:41He actually had a favorable attitude toward them at first,
- 32:45wanting them to repent and come to Christ.
- 32:48But when they didn't, this was what he wrote in a treatise
- 32:57titled On the Jews and Their Lies.
- 33:01Now, this is not to say that there aren't some awful heresies
- 33:07in Talmudic writings. I'm sure there are.
- 33:09I've I've heard quotes about saying terrible things about
- 33:13Jesus. Guys, there's no sin that's off
- 33:19limits to God where he says, Oh yeah, that that was a slap in
- 33:24the face. I'm done with you.
- 33:26As long as we have breath, we can turn to him.
- 33:29And he's always trying to discipline us towards
- 33:32repentance, right? Paul said the kindness and the
- 33:35severity of God, so it's a common supersessionist.
- 33:44That's another name for replacement theology with the
- 33:47church has superseded Israel. Common supersessionist belief
- 33:52from the early church even is that Jesus came to destroy the
- 33:57Jewish state of Israel and replace it with the church
- 34:00permanently, and that this was accomplished in 8070.
- 34:05So what does that have to do with modern Israel?
- 34:08The same conclusion is often made.
- 34:10They must be illegitimate then, because God did away with them.
- 34:14He divorced them as a nation. Some people even say that the
- 34:19the scroll in Revelation is a divorce decree when it is
- 34:25clearly a title deed of the earth and Jesus is worthy to
- 34:29open it. And they are weeping because
- 34:35he's the only one who can open it and save people from what is
- 34:39going on. That's so good be and I'm
- 34:44triggered with a little bit of a humbling effect that needs to
- 34:48ripple out into the church's ears.
- 34:50OK, so the law first mentioned, I'm sure you guys have heard of
- 34:54that before. I want to talk about Israel as
- 34:58the word that God originates from Jacob, right?
- 35:03There's a name change. There's a substance that changes
- 35:07from one identity to a new identity.
- 35:10And if you guys remember, Jacob was a deceiver and he was given
- 35:16a new name by God. So if anybody in Christianity is
- 35:20to boast and to agree with what Martin Luther read that Pete
- 35:24just quoted a few minutes ago and have that position for the
- 35:28Jews, you might want to get off your high horse before you get
- 35:33knocked down, because pride comes before the fall.
- 35:36We are no better. There's one narrow way that we
- 35:40are accessing ourselves and is by the blood of the Lamb and the
- 35:43word of our testimony at this end age that we're playing into.
- 35:47And so if God took a deceiver and gave them a covenant and
- 35:54renamed them, then who are we to say that we're replacing Israel?
- 35:58All's you're saying is that you're a deceiver and God,
- 36:02right? You're boasting that God chose
- 36:04you, but that's disingenuous to what's written grafted in.
- 36:08That's what God I believe, really wants our hearts to
- 36:11settle on is that you want to why do we want to measure up sin
- 36:16and chase people into corners and cage these people and then
- 36:19well, let's kill these people because they did this.
- 36:21The word literally says if you know to do right and do it not
- 36:26it's sin unto you all have fallen short guys, every single
- 36:30one of us. So when we're talking about a
- 36:33Jewish culture, I do identify some differences than what God
- 36:37is distinguishing as an Israel light because actually we're all
- 36:42Israelites in the accord of the faith of Abraham.
- 36:45We're all fallen short. We're all deceivers and sinners
- 36:48that are made right by the blood of Yeshua.
- 36:51But when we're talking about a culture, this is where I'd start
- 36:54to push back and say I don't give anybody a license to do
- 36:57something wrong because they claim ancient, you know, somatic
- 37:01root heritage where they identify with the pre religion
- 37:05to my current religion and therefore they get a card to do
- 37:07whatever they'd like wrong. Absolutely not.
- 37:10This is where I would draw the line and say your accountability
- 37:13is no different than my accountability.
- 37:16God is the same God yesterday, today, and forever.
- 37:18So I just wanted to point that out because this is the danger
- 37:22of replacement theology as inside of your own mind,
- 37:25according to the doctrine of men, you're asserting yourself
- 37:28as if you are the only chosen apple of God's eye.
- 37:32And that is dangerous because anyone who repents and comes to
- 37:37him is grafted in as the Israelites, the first branch.
- 37:42So we should not boast against that first branch, but
- 37:45understand that God chose those people in that time slot in
- 37:49order for His divine plans to come about.
- 37:51He knows the beginning from the end.
- 37:54This, all of it, is a test of our character, a test of our
- 37:56judgement. This is a voting booth of life,
- 38:00ladies and gentlemen, and your humility counts more than you
- 38:04might like to admit. So sorry.
- 38:07I hope that doesn't derail Pete, but not at all.
- 38:09Once again, this is the moving of the Spirit in me as I'm kind
- 38:12of reacting live with you on this recording because I'm not
- 38:16well studied. But I do know the Spirit gives
- 38:20us truth, right and wrong. Decency and indecency is pretty
- 38:25easy to see when you're cloaked in love.
- 38:28Yeah, yeah. And that's something I said to
- 38:31in the interview with Sean is, is we have to seek God's heart
- 38:35on this issue. And I think Paul captures it
- 38:38really well in Romans 9 through 11.
- 38:41I think it was Andy Woods that that put it this way.
- 38:44Romans 9 was rejection of Romans 10 or I'm sorry, Romans 9 was
- 38:53election. Romans 10 was rejection and
- 38:59Romans 11 was their eventual, eventual acceptance.
- 39:05I'm, I'm, I'm botching that I have it written down here
- 39:09somewhere. It was much more succinct than
- 39:12that. But basically, God is not done
- 39:16with the Israelites. And as Rod said, and as Paul
- 39:22said, we are grafted in, right? The church doesn't replace
- 39:27Israel. We are an expansion of what was
- 39:31always meant to be their Messiah, our Messiah, you know,
- 39:38one body unified in Christ. Now at the Nuremberg trials, the
- 39:44Nazi leaders, they actually tried to use this excuse that
- 39:50they were only carrying out Martin Luther's words regarding
- 39:53the Jews. Think of that.
- 39:57And Hitler praised him for those words.
- 40:01This was not a new construct. This was going on for hundreds
- 40:06of years. From some of the quotes that I
- 40:09read, Ignatius Martyr Iranius origin, there was a Council of
- 40:14Elvira in the year three O 5, the 325 Council of Nicaea.
- 40:21Moved away from the past, the Passover to the Easter
- 40:24celebration. You have words from Eusebius.
- 40:27You have an awful I think it was like an 8 or A10 sermon series
- 40:33of just horribly harsh rhetoric from John Chrysostom, Saint
- 40:38Jerome, Ambrose, Augustine. These people were saying Jews
- 40:43deserve death because they were Christ killers.
- 40:48By the Middle Ages you basically had two doctrines that had been
- 40:52firmly established. The Jews are Christ killers and
- 40:55should be treated as such. And to the church has replaced
- 40:59Israel and God has no special purpose prophetically for them
- 41:03anymore. And of course we read Luther's
- 41:07words and Calvin wasn't much better.
- 41:10The two big reformers wishing death upon them, saying their
- 41:14homes and synagogues should be burned.
- 41:17And of course, this morphed into anti Zionism.
- 41:22And what is this sound like? Who is the accuser, the
- 41:27slanderer in the Bible? That's Satan himself when we
- 41:33have this type of hateful rhetoric.
- 41:36That's exactly what Paul was refuting in Romans.
- 41:40And we're sounding like the father of lies himself.
- 41:45So it's my opinion, as I said on the show with Sean, I think this
- 41:50is this concept of Zionism is biblical, but it has been Co
- 41:54opted, infiltrated, usurped and subverted.
- 41:59And there's no doubt that there's an Antichrist spirit
- 42:02that persists in Talmudic Judaism, right?
- 42:05Like Sean played the clip of of the Christian saying that they
- 42:09get spit on and pepper sprayed by by Jews there.
- 42:13I don't doubt it. I mean, think of what?
- 42:17Think of what Saul did to the followers of the way before
- 42:24Jesus met him on that road to Damascus.
- 42:28Precisely. Saul People were afraid.
- 42:33When Saul got converted, they were afraid that he was coming
- 42:39to get them. They didn't believe that he was
- 42:41a good guy because they knew his reputation and what he did.
- 42:45He was there approving of the stoning, the killing of Steven.
- 42:50And see, Steven was trying to recount their history of how
- 42:54many times they missed it the first time and then they got it
- 42:57right. The second time they were blind
- 43:00and hardened and and just didn't understand.
- 43:03And then the second time and he was about to get to the same
- 43:06thing about Jesus and they knew where he was going with it and
- 43:11they killed him. So I want to talk a bit about
- 43:18some of the things that, well, let me go to this.
- 43:23Some of the comments on the episode, if you go to Sean's
- 43:29channel on Rumble, these were some of the comments and I
- 43:32printed them out not to, to read them verbatim or to shame
- 43:36anybody because listen, we all have different views on this.
- 43:39I'm not saying anybody that disagrees with me or Rod on
- 43:41this, you're a bad person. But I did this to try to
- 43:46encapsulate some of the views that were pushing back against
- 43:53what I was trying to share, which was an enlarged paradigm
- 43:56that yes, we have the Rothschilds, we have this evil,
- 43:59there's something bigger going on, and God is sovereign over
- 44:02all of it. So the I printed out like
- 44:08there's like 15 pages of this, but I basically just wrote down
- 44:11a summary of their view. SO1 commenter embraces full
- 44:17preterism, which basically says everything in Revelations
- 44:21already happened. There's there's not even a
- 44:23second coming of Jesus. One person was a Holocaust
- 44:30denier. Another person called me a
- 44:34Christian Zionist as a as a a pejorative term, an insult.
- 44:41Another one called Jews and Zionists the enemy of humanity.
- 44:45Another one says Jesus fulfilled it all.
- 44:48That's replacement theology. All these promises, they were
- 44:51fulfilled spiritually in Jesus. You'll hear that quite a lot
- 44:54taught in churches everywhere, they'll say.
- 44:59Another commenter said Israel today is a fake.
- 45:02More replacement theology. Another comment on replacement
- 45:06theology. Another person says the
- 45:08scriptures were corrupted by fake Jews.
- 45:11And Jonathan Cahn is misleading because I brought up his book on
- 45:14the Oracle Guys that that book, I mean, listen, he is such a
- 45:19public figure. Anybody could Fact Check this if
- 45:22they want. Go get the book.
- 45:25Look at his claims about history, about, you know, Herzl
- 45:29and, and Mark Twain and what the parishaw that tell the, the
- 45:36Torah reading that's done every Sabbath around the world.
- 45:40It's been going on since 600 BC or something like that.
- 45:43How these scriptures fell on the exact day of what was happening
- 45:48in the world. You can look that up and verify
- 45:51for yourself. And it's in my opinion, there's
- 45:53no doubt God brought the Jews back to this land.
- 45:57This isn't the Rothschilds. This isn't the UN.
- 46:00God is sovereign over all of that.
- 46:02And when you see how these things line up that he lays out
- 46:07in the book, it's undeniable. Another commenter talks about is
- 46:14is in support of an allegorical biblical interpretation.
- 46:19Another one is supporting replacement theology.
- 46:22Another one says God divorced Israel.
- 46:25Another one calls me a Jew apologist, a total Christian
- 46:29Zionist. Another one says Jonathan Cahn
- 46:34is a Freemason. Another one says today's Israel
- 46:39is not biblical Israel. That's kind of where Sean was
- 46:43at. Sean's a good guy.
- 46:45I just think that that he's he's listening to A1 sided voice.
- 46:51Another one says Zionism is a modern creation and is anti
- 46:55Jesus. Another one says I'm a Zionist
- 46:58shill. What else we got here?
- 47:04Jews are not Israel, but Judah. Well, yeah, originally it came
- 47:09from the word Judah, but it's colloquially understood as
- 47:13Israel for hundreds of years now.
- 47:16Another one supports the post Millennium right that Jesus
- 47:20already came. They say he came spiritually.
- 47:24This is a new one. Rod.
- 47:26I I hadn't heard this before the last month or so.
- 47:29Lot of people teach that Jesus came spiritually in 70 AD.
- 47:34That was his second coming. Some people still say there's a
- 47:37third coming if you're a partial preterist.
- 47:41But full preterist say no, there's no more coming.
- 47:46Another one says Zionism is a modern construct.
- 47:49Israel today is not the same as in the Bible.
- 47:53God is done with the Jews. Christians are the Israel now.
- 47:59The Bible is corrupt. More more slandering of Jonathan
- 48:04Cahn. There is 0 good in Israel.
- 48:08They need to be assassinated and nuked out of existence.
- 48:14Today's Israel is a fake Israel. Yeah, the Israel of today is not
- 48:24the Israel of the Bible. I mean, do you do you see the
- 48:26theme here? Yeah, I do.
- 48:31Jesus is the everlasting covenant.
- 48:33The covenant from the Jews is the old and is irreparably
- 48:37broken. Well, in a sense that true, that
- 48:42covenant has been obsolete. The Bible says it's obsolete.
- 48:49The new and better one is here. Zionist propagandist.
- 48:57I don't trust Jonathan Cahn. Listen, you don't have to trust
- 49:00Jonathan Cahn or me. Go to your Bible, go to your
- 49:03history book, go to your Google mobile and look this stuff up.
- 49:06See if it's true. See if these things happen the
- 49:11way they did and see if God's hand is involved in it.
- 49:18The state of Israel is a modern day miracle if you look at the
- 49:22facts. Now, here's one of the things
- 49:28I've been a big advocate for in my personal life, and I've
- 49:31chimed in a little bit on air. What about all the people that
- 49:38nobody knows their name who have been tortured and killed, right?
- 49:42So, like, there's a lot of focus on Israel.
- 49:44There's a lot of focus on Ukraine, whatever the beast
- 49:47system produces content for on the news stream, false media,
- 49:51Nephilim systems, that's what people want to talk about.
- 49:55But the same way that we are grafted in through faith,
- 50:00through the price that was paid by Yeshua, is the same access
- 50:05that every nation has. Because the Bible says that
- 50:08every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, and that he
- 50:11will call every tribe, nation, and tongue unto himself, right?
- 50:16These are prophetic things of the very end of the age.
- 50:18And so I want us to consider, why would anybody have the right
- 50:25to have a hatred for Israel when you have no right to have a
- 50:30hatred for any nation? But you do have a right as a
- 50:35child of God to look after the true widow and the true orphan,
- 50:41OK. And that's every nation, not
- 50:43just Ukraine, and not just Israel, not just Palestine, not
- 50:47just Africa. It's your own city, it's your
- 50:49own neighborhood, it's your own backyard.
- 50:52So all the comments that you read, Pete, one thing that I
- 50:55seen in common is that the mind of Christ is not in the people.
- 50:59And I'm not trying to point them out or say that they're not
- 51:01Christians or judge them. But the Bible says he, he was
- 51:04spiritual, can judge all things. So I'm going to say my piece on
- 51:08this. If you have the mind of Christ
- 51:11and the Spirit is moving through you, you will see a
- 51:14reconciliation in the worst possible places, OK.
- 51:19You'll see a reconciliation in places that your flesh and the
- 51:24mind of man would not allow. So I don't think that the
- 51:28conversation should be restricted to an Israel Zionist
- 51:32conversation. I think it should be stretching
- 51:35the boundaries is what I'm good at, right?
- 51:37Pushing the envelope just a little bit further, as people
- 51:40like to say about me, let's make this inclusive of every
- 51:43language, tribe, nation, and tongue, OK?
- 51:45Because if you clearly cannot practice a love for someone
- 51:49who's different than you or something you do not understand,
- 51:51you are unqualified to work in the fullness of your heavenly
- 51:55scroll. Because love, it doesn't matter
- 51:57how much knowledge you got, how much wisdom you got, how much
- 52:00resources you have, you are making noise if you don't have
- 52:03love. So I want to challenge some of
- 52:05you of listeners out there that may be in the camp where you're
- 52:08mad at Israel because the news told you be mad at Israel or
- 52:11because Candace Owens told you to be mad at Israel.
- 52:16First of all, pray for that woman.
- 52:18There's certain things that come out of her mouth where I'm like,
- 52:20Dang, she's on it. And there's other things where
- 52:22I'm like, the part of me that said, Dang, you're on it was the
- 52:26mind of my man. It was not the mind of the
- 52:29spirit. Let's discuss the contradiction
- 52:32here. What mind should we be operating
- 52:35in in totality? I'm not a good example of this.
- 52:38I've told you on my show, don't follow me.
- 52:41I failed forward, I fall forward.
- 52:43But if there anything good in me at all that you identify, let it
- 52:48be known that is from God, that is from the Lord of Lords, the
- 52:51King of kings. And he likes using broken
- 52:54vessels, yes. So why would he not like using
- 52:57Israel or the names and the people that you've never heard
- 53:01of who have been tortured and traumatized and and killed and
- 53:05raped and pillaged all throughout history?
- 53:08None of it goes amiss from God and from His perspective.
- 53:13So this is a broad spectrum challenge.
- 53:15If you think you have a right to hate a nation or a group of
- 53:21people, you are not operating in what the mind of Christ offers
- 53:26us. His mind is not our own.
- 53:30So for some of you out there, you might want to lick your
- 53:32wounds on that. And if you got anything nasty to
- 53:35say about me, it just shows the fruit of your tree.
- 53:40My tree. I am in the fear of the Lord to
- 53:43produce a semi fruit sweet that's good for a taste because
- 53:47it's Hard Out Here. I'm not saying I I'm getting
- 53:49this right, but my my postulation on this topic will
- 53:54not change. And by the grace of God as an
- 53:57old man someday and then in the future I hope to be in the same
- 54:00position. I hope never to have a seed of
- 54:02hate deeply inspired within me because of the manipulations of
- 54:07man and cultures and government and news agencies and
- 54:10overwhelming messages for me to have a hatred in my heart for
- 54:13any group of people. Yeah, I said it.
- 54:17Now deal with it. Try and trust.
- 54:34Daylight stay bright stay daylight stay bright.
- 54:43Daylight you, day you. Day you.
- 54:51Day like day right is better with you.
- 54:54Day like you, day like you. Day right, stay right is better
- 55:01with you, you all. And you, it's better with you,
- 55:11You, you. If I showed you the scars, would
- 55:17you turn away? If I lowered the wall, would you
- 55:21come and stay? If I open my heart, would you
- 55:24shine your light? If I let this thing start?
- 55:28Hold me through the night. Cancel and brave.
- 55:30Come take a ride with me. Let's take a look at all the
- 55:33things that life is supposed to be.
- 55:36Look me in the eye. I want to see a light.
- 55:39Shine. Beauty and passion.
- 55:41Just like it's the first time. Oh my baby, I'm a gentleman at
- 55:45heart unless you win the service of my enemy or worker.
- 55:49Rather dark I speak light words and happy moments, lighting my
- 55:54eyes staring back. You're darker from Lord help me
- 55:57now you stay. You stay red is better with you.
- 56:09Stay red is better with you.
