“The Faithful Church Pt 2” Revelation 3:10-13
As stated previously, Jesus had no rebuke for the church at Philadelphia. He commends them for keeping His word, not denying His name and persevering through severe persecution from both Jews and gentiles. Because of their obedience and steadfast faith, Jesus now promises to keep them from the hour of trial, “The Great Tribulation” - The 7 year period of intense distress brought on the world by the wrath of God. Jesus promises to remove the church - The Rapture.
