- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two-time People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello, everybody. We
- 0:12Speaker 1: are scrubbing in. It's a Tuesday that feels like a Monday,
- 0:16Speaker 1: but it's the best Tuesday ever because Becca is still out.
- 0:22Speaker 1: She is still in Thailand. Miss her deeply. But as
- 0:27Speaker 1: co-host today, I have my handsome, hilarious, hot husband, Robbie Attagar.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Good to be here.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Mark is also in the house, but he cannot speak
- 0:42Speaker 1: because he lost his voice, so he's here in spirit.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I have questions for Mark, though, so he's going to
- 0:47Speaker 2: have to text or something, hold up a sign or something.
- 0:51Speaker 1: How was your weekend?
- 0:52Speaker 2: That was my, we had a great, we had a,
- 0:54Speaker 2: first of all, it was a long weekend, but it
- 0:56Speaker 2: didn't really feel that long.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I know, but it's so funny because when, when I
- 1:01Speaker 1: do the podcast with Becca and it's like, what'd you
- 1:03Speaker 1: do this weekend? Like we had different weekends, whereas you
- 1:06Speaker 1: and I had the exact same weekend.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It was a great weekend. I mean, the rain kind
- 1:11Speaker 2: of messed things up a little bit. It was kind
- 1:12Speaker 2: of annoying. Yeah. Uh, but what do we do? We want,
- 1:15Speaker 2: we like got into binging.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. We binge Chad Powers season one and two.
- 1:23Speaker 2: We really like it. It's not a great show. No,
- 1:27Speaker 2: it's a great show. I mean, I love it. But
- 1:29Speaker 2: I'm saying it's not a masterful show. If you're looking for...
- 1:37Speaker 2: like a super high quality like show. I think it's very, it's,
- 1:43Speaker 2: it's very feel good. And it's like, there's something like you,
- 1:46Speaker 2: you start to really care about the characters and the
- 1:48Speaker 2: storyline and all that. But anyways, I think it's great.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm trying to say, but it's great.
- 1:53Speaker 2: We watched the entire two seasons this weekend already.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So now I'm like, so bummed. Yeah. I don't know
- 1:59Speaker 1: when season three is coming.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Is it coming out? How did we find out?
- 2:01Speaker 1: They just released season two. So I feel like if
- 2:04Speaker 1: there's a season three, it's not going to be for
- 2:05Speaker 1: a while.
- 2:06Speaker 2: The seasons are six episodes. I know. Didn't seasons used
- 2:10Speaker 2: to be 10 episodes?
- 2:11Speaker 1: You can't curse on the podcast.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Oh, I can't curse on the podcast?
- 2:13Speaker 1: No. I mean, you can, but we like to keep
- 2:16Speaker 1: it PG.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Did I say the full word?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 2: That's how the sausage is made.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah. So we binged Chad Powers, which we loved. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: then weirdly, we watched we went to see this documentary
- 2:30Speaker 1: last night. It was a football documentary. So I watched
- 2:32Speaker 1: a lot of football related television this weekend and I
- 2:36Speaker 1: actually enjoyed it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Well, so the, the, the documentary says my friend is
- 2:40Speaker 2: the producer and it's really cool. It's about the Sean Jackson,
- 2:44Speaker 2: but what's really cool about it. And I'm not like
- 2:46Speaker 2: plugging or anything, but what's really cool about it is
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's not really about football. The Sean Jackson, for those
- 2:51Speaker 2: who don't know is like one of the best wide
- 2:52Speaker 2: receivers ever in the NFL.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't know who he was.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Uh, but, When he was... like eight years old, his
- 3:00Speaker 2: older brother realized that he was like a, an amazing
- 3:03Speaker 2: talent and decided from the moment of eight years old to,
- 3:06Speaker 2: to video, to film his entire life. Back then it
- 3:09Speaker 2: was probably on like some huge camera and filmed his
- 3:12Speaker 2: entire life. So he has 35 years of footage that
- 3:15Speaker 2: ultimately crazy. It's so crazy. Private, like the most private
- 3:19Speaker 2: footage possible, like super, um, like intimate, personal, um, like stuff. And, uh, Um,
- 3:29Speaker 2: they were trying to shop it for years and they like,
- 3:30Speaker 2: so the movie is, is really more like an amazing,
- 3:34Speaker 2: it's a great story, but it's an amazing, um, like
- 3:38Speaker 2: cinematic achievement in the fact that like they followed this
- 3:41Speaker 2: guy who happened to also be one of the most
- 3:44Speaker 2: successful wide receivers of all time. So like, that was cool.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I went for him as a good wife to support
- 3:52Speaker 1: my husband and his friend who produced this movie thinking
- 3:54Speaker 1: I was going to take a long nap. during it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And I actually really, I was like locked in. I really,
- 4:00Speaker 1: really enjoyed it because of what you said.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It was just like cheering.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I was like so impressed with like how fast he
- 4:06Speaker 1: was moving and how he would like dodge all these
- 4:08Speaker 1: men just like running so fast. Yeah. And just all
- 4:12Speaker 1: the footage was so crazy. Just thinking about, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 1: like I feel like I document a lot on my phone,
- 4:17Speaker 1: but like his brother literally documented everything.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So I don't know. It was really cool. But it's
- 4:21Speaker 2: interesting because like, that's like one of the things I
- 4:23Speaker 2: was thinking about nowadays, we do kind of document everything
- 4:28Speaker 2: for everybody. So it's like not that crazy now, but
- 4:33Speaker 2: 35 years ago is unheard of. Yeah. So like they
- 4:35Speaker 2: have things that you would never, ever, ever see for
- 4:38Speaker 2: something like that. So it's interesting. I thought it was cool.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah. And I had no idea who he was going
- 4:42Speaker 1: into it, but now I'm a fan. Yeah, I know.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So a lot of football. And then you have your
- 4:47Speaker 1: fantasy draft.
- 4:48Speaker 2: It's going to be a big season. How's your fantasy
- 4:51Speaker 2: auction going this year?
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm decided I'm over it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You're over it? You're like undefeated.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I tried to participate. I tried to like be in it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I just don't care.
- 5:01Speaker 2: You want to be like a fantasy, what do you
- 5:04Speaker 2: call it? No, you won't let me in your league. No, no, no.
- 5:06Speaker 2: The wife of the, what do you call it? Wife
- 5:09Speaker 2: of the, yeah, wag.
- 5:10Speaker 1: We can like.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Make us cupcakes and like do all that. No, no. Okay.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I don't want to do that at all.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I feel like that's up your alley.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I want to be in your league.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Okay. Next question.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Um, no, but so like, yeah, we, we binged a lot.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We watched this documentary. We had friends over. You made
- 5:33Speaker 1: a feast.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Oh my God. So yeah, the late alarm Labor Day
- 5:37Speaker 2: barbecue was just insanely. It was so good though. I
- 5:41Speaker 2: don't know. I love doing that. It's a lot of work,
- 5:42Speaker 2: but I, I, for some reason I just love doing it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It's so nice that you love doing it because I,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I do not.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah. If I had to. I know that. You like hosting.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I like hosting.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You don't like the cooking part.
- 5:57Speaker 1: No, I like having people over. Like I can wash
- 6:00Speaker 1: the tables. I can set the, you know, the silverware out.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I can make cute flower arrangements. I can put like drinks.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Into an ice bucket. We love hosting together.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But in terms of like the cooking of the food,
- 6:13Speaker 1: it's just not me.
- 6:15Speaker 2: It's just not what I enjoy. That's why we're a
- 6:16Speaker 2: good team. I do that and you do all the
- 6:18Speaker 2: other stuff and it works out. Yeah. It was good.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It was nice.
- 6:22Speaker 2: What was your favorite thing that I made?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Uh, the mango sticky rice.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I never had my mango sticky rice before in my life.
- 6:29Speaker 1: This was, it was.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Maybe the best thing I've ever made. I think it
- 6:33Speaker 2: was so good.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I like a thousand out of 10.
- 6:38Speaker 2: As I was making it, I was tasting it like
- 6:40Speaker 2: the sauce and I could not stop from like making like.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can't say that either.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I couldn't stop from making, uh, like, just noises in
- 6:51Speaker 2: the kitchen. It was like so good.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Becca messaged me and she's like, I can't believe you
- 6:55Speaker 1: never had mango sticky rice before. And I'm like, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: never have, but I fear that I shouldn't eat it
- 6:59Speaker 1: anywhere else because yours was so good.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Well, by the way, I've never had it either.
- 7:03Speaker 1: So I, you set the bar very high.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It was really, really, really good. And by the way,
- 7:08Speaker 2: we're not just saying that as two people who have
- 7:09Speaker 2: never had it. We had guests who are very seasoned
- 7:13Speaker 2: in the mango sticky rice arena. Yeah. You said it
- 7:16Speaker 2: was incredible. Yeah. Um, yeah, it was really, really good.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I'm going to, people have been asking for the recipe.
- 7:20Speaker 2: So I'm going to try to post that at some point.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Um, but so people obviously like, I love you and
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with being married. Like it's just like a
- 7:27Speaker 1: sleepover every single day with your best friend. Like I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: obsessed with it, but somebody was like messaging me and
- 7:33Speaker 1: they're like, does he ever do anything to annoy you?
- 7:36Speaker 1: And so I was thinking about that.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I do so, but you've already said so many things
- 7:39Speaker 2: that I know you, my flip flops, my gum chewing. Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 2: My sunflower seed eating. Oh, my.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Now you don't do that at home. You do that
- 7:49Speaker 1: at work. So respect. But I was thinking about it
- 7:53Speaker 1: this weekend because we like so there's like little things.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Like whenever our trash cans get dirty.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Remember the last time we had, like, our trash can
- 8:01Speaker 1: got dirty? I, like, washed it out myself and, like,
- 8:04Speaker 1: you know, whooshed it around with, like, some soap and
- 8:07Speaker 1: water and, like, you know, dumped it and put it
- 8:09Speaker 1: back in where it belongs. And you were like, babe, like,
- 8:12Speaker 1: let me handle that stuff from now on. Like, let me,
- 8:14Speaker 1: you know, I'm, you know, I can handle it. Let
- 8:16Speaker 1: me handle it.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not. So, like, great. That's a me thing.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Yeah, so great. So our trash can got gross again
- 8:21Speaker 1: on whatever day the trash came, Thursday.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And I was like, hey, babe, can you, since you
- 8:25Speaker 1: told me you want to do this, can you wipe
- 8:28Speaker 1: the bottom of the trash cans?
- 8:29Speaker 2: And I said I would.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He said he would. Okay.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I said not today. You said you would. You asked
- 8:35Speaker 2: me on Thursday. Yes. I said not today because I
- 8:38Speaker 2: was really busy Thursday and Friday with work. I said
- 8:41Speaker 2: I will do it this weekend.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He then, it rained this weekend in LA, which is
- 8:48Speaker 1: like crazy.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:50Speaker 1: But he goes out and he opens the lid to
- 8:52Speaker 1: the trash cans. The rain washes it out for him. Okay.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Mind you, this is Saturday, Sunday now.
- 8:59Speaker 2: This is why you leave this to me.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And the trash cans are sitting in front of our
- 9:02Speaker 1: house for like four days. We just have this trash
- 9:04Speaker 1: can in front.
- 9:05Speaker 2: We picked it up. We put it on the curb.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So it wasn't like on the street.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Still, it's like. this just giant trash can in our way.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Listen, I have things that I have in very important
- 9:16Speaker 2: things to do. So then Monday, the trash can was
- 9:19Speaker 2: going to happen.
- 9:19Speaker 1: It rolls around and we're having guests over for Labor
- 9:21Speaker 1: Day barbecue. And I'm like, babe, any plans on finishing
- 9:24Speaker 1: up this trash can cleaning that I asked you to
- 9:27Speaker 1: do four days ago? Uh, Anyways, so the rain did
- 9:32Speaker 1: its thing and you just dumped it out.
- 9:33Speaker 2: That was me starting to clean in the trash can.
- 9:35Speaker 1: All I have to say is I would have cleaned
- 9:37Speaker 1: it and had it put back in its place on Thursday.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And I'm happy to do it.
- 9:43Speaker 2: But I can't.
- 9:43Speaker 1: When I give you a pass.
- 9:44Speaker 2: If you ask me to do something, you can't expect
- 9:45Speaker 2: me to do it and do it exactly when you
- 9:48Speaker 2: want me to do it. I can do it in
- 9:50Speaker 2: order of priority of the other things that I have
- 9:52Speaker 2: on my plate. You agreed to me doing it this weekend.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You didn't object. You agreed. I did.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But Monday's not the weekend. Monday's the start of the week.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I agree. It went a little longer, but we're not fat. No,
- 10:03Speaker 2: but we're also, it was a long weekend, but we're
- 10:05Speaker 2: also not factoring in the opening the lid when it
- 10:07Speaker 2: started raining. That was cleaning it. By the way, I
- 10:09Speaker 2: didn't have to do much more than that. I did
- 10:10Speaker 2: do a little more than that, but I didn't have
- 10:12Speaker 2: to do much more than that. If I leave you
- 10:13Speaker 2: in charge of cleaning the trash cans, you like Put
- 10:16Speaker 2: cinnamon in it and bake a cake in there. I
- 10:19Speaker 2: don't know what you're doing with the trash cans.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I would have cleaned it perfectly fine, and it would
- 10:23Speaker 1: have been back in its home place on Thursday evening.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It would have been way harder because you didn't have.
- 10:29Speaker 1: The benefit of the rain.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Are you saying I didn't do a good job? What
- 10:33Speaker 2: are we saying here?
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm saying that when I ask you to do things,
- 10:36Speaker 1: that you don't do them in a timely manner.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Okay. Can you please make a list of everything I
- 10:43Speaker 2: did between Thursday and Monday? I know. I know.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I know. You shopped for all the food and you
- 10:51Speaker 1: did all the recipes. And I know we did a lot.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We cleaned out the house.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Cleaned out the house. Correct. What else? There's a lot
- 10:58Speaker 2: of other stuff. Binged all of Chad Powers. That was
- 11:02Speaker 2: very high on our list.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Very high on our list, yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 2: We went to Temple on Saturday morning. That was your idea.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yes, that was my idea.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Which was nice, but brutal. Like, the last thing I
- 11:16Speaker 2: wanted to do, but yes.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I needed to pray. I really needed to pray this weekend.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yes, we know.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So anyways, that's just one of my... I love being
- 11:26Speaker 1: married and you're the best person to be married to.
- 11:27Speaker 2: So you're saying that annoys you that I clean it
- 11:29Speaker 2: thoroughly just a couple of days after you want me
- 11:31Speaker 2: to clean it?
- 11:31Speaker 1: No, I just, when I ask you to do things,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you never do them in a timely manner.
- 11:34Speaker 2: But I do them.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Not in a timely manner.
- 11:38Speaker 2: 98%.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Not in a timely manner.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So that's what annoys you about me? Yes. Okay.
- 11:44Speaker 1: What annoys you about me?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Uh, so. Oh no. What are you talking about? Yeah, honestly,
- 11:54Speaker 2: the fact that you're giving me shit for not giving
- 11:56Speaker 2: me crap is, I don't know. I thought we were
- 11:58Speaker 2: allowed to cuss on this podcast. Anyways, for not doing
- 12:02Speaker 2: things timely when I do them and thoroughly. No, I
- 12:06Speaker 2: think the only things, you don't really annoy me that much, frankly.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I don't think you're very annoying. The only thing that
- 12:10Speaker 2: I think gets, is like a little bit uncomfortable, yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 2: is the staring. You stare, there's two times when you stare...
- 12:20Speaker 2: unnecessarily aggressively. One is like, we're in the middle of
- 12:24Speaker 2: like a conversation or like an argument or whatever it is.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And I say something and I ask you a question
- 12:32Speaker 2: and instead of responding, you just stare blindly at me
- 12:36Speaker 2: for like, like something is short circuited.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And you're like, because I don't want to say, I
- 12:42Speaker 1: want to think about what I'm going to say because
- 12:44Speaker 1: I don't want to say anything in the heat of
- 12:45Speaker 1: the moment. So say that.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Say, hey, listen, I'm going to need time to digest this.
- 12:49Speaker 2: But just staring at me blindly is very uncomfortable. That's one.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And then the other is when you stare at me during,
- 12:56Speaker 2: when we're watching like TV or doing anything, when there's
- 12:58Speaker 2: a commercial break. Any immediately commercial break, stares at me.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Back on TV. Commercial break, stares at me. It's very uncomfortable.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That is true.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's not annoying per se because I just.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Annoying, uncomfortable.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I mean, wouldn't you.
- 13:12Speaker 1: like to be loved like that, where your partner just
- 13:15Speaker 1: can't keep their eyes off of you. I can't keep
- 13:18Speaker 1: my eyes off of you.
- 13:19Speaker 2: That's not an excuse for unusually creepy behavior. There's a
- 13:23Speaker 2: lot of people who love each other that don't do that.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Oh, well, I mean, I just feel like there's people
- 13:28Speaker 1: listening that would just love to be adored in that way.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I adore you.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I'm sure there are many. And I love the way
- 13:35Speaker 2: you love me. But those are a couple of things
- 13:36Speaker 2: that I think are a little bit annoying. You ask
- 13:38Speaker 2: the question. You can't take the heat out of the kitchen.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Speaking of questions, I did get some questions via Instagram
- 13:45Speaker 1: that are going to take us down different paths.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Well, speaking of questions via Instagram. I actually did a
- 13:51Speaker 2: secret question request on Instagram where I blocked all you
- 13:57Speaker 2: and got secret hard hitting. Well, I asked for secret
- 14:01Speaker 2: hard hitting controversial questions. Uh, I got some that are
- 14:04Speaker 2: like semi hard hitting. I think there are some interesting
- 14:07Speaker 2: things in there that I'm going to talk about or expose. Um,
- 14:11Speaker 2: so I think we should do that.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Okay. Well, we'll do that. Let me ask you a
- 14:16Speaker 1: couple questions here first and then we'll take a break
- 14:18Speaker 1: and then we'll come back with Robbie's questions.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Oh, we're going to break now. Never mind. We'll break now,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and we'll come back with those.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Great.
- 14:37Speaker 1: We're back.
- 14:42Speaker 2: We are back. Are we going to do the hard-hitting questions?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Let me ask you just a couple of these.
- 14:46Speaker 2: All right, go.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Um... This is from Chill. Much respect to Tanya, but
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm also a needy girl. Do you get annoyed?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, that's what we just talked about.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Oh, that's not needy, me staring at you.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that's true. It's a corollary. Listen, I understand
- 15:09Speaker 2: you and how you need to be loved. Uh, it
- 15:12Speaker 2: definitely does get, it's a little bit annoying at times,
- 15:17Speaker 2: but like I know, but I understand the way you need,
- 15:20Speaker 2: the way you need to be loved. And so I
- 15:24Speaker 2: try to give that to you. Does that, is that
- 15:30Speaker 2: the question?
- 15:33Speaker 1: I am needy. Yes. You're not needy. So, uh, I
- 15:36Speaker 1: don't remember. Uh, she's also a needy girl. Do you
- 15:39Speaker 1: get annoyed by my neediness?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So the answer is no, because you know how I
- 15:44Speaker 1: need to be loved.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I know I need to be loved, but it is
- 15:47Speaker 2: difficult for someone like me sometimes who is the complete
- 15:50Speaker 2: opposite of that. I'm like not needy at all. That's
- 15:53Speaker 2: not true. I am. I need it. I'm not needy
- 15:56Speaker 2: in that way, like the way you are, but I'm needy.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Everyone needs things. Everyone needs things. Let's be honest.
- 16:01Speaker 1: You need very little.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I think that you need like reassurance a lot.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Which I don't need. Yeah. Like, for me, reassurance— I do,
- 16:13Speaker 2: I guess, but for me, reassurance is, like, just in, like,
- 16:16Speaker 2: the ordinary course of, like, how we interact with each other. Uh-huh.
- 16:20Speaker 2: But you need more than that. I do. Yeah.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Okay, Shelby said, what is something a girl can do
- 16:24Speaker 1: to be more approachable?
- 16:29Speaker 2: Well, first of all, everyone— like there's different strokes for
- 16:34Speaker 2: different folks, whatever the terminology is that everyone likes something
- 16:37Speaker 2: different for me. I think that the most like important
- 16:42Speaker 2: quality for me and like approachability of a girl, whether
- 16:45Speaker 2: an approachability, like what are we talking about at a
- 16:47Speaker 2: bar or like on a dating app or whatever, anything.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Um, I think this is like in real life, but
- 16:53Speaker 1: I think it's.
- 16:54Speaker 2: The same for, I think it's the same as my point.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I think that if you, I think that if you're
- 16:59Speaker 2: like smiling and happy, I think you're way more approachable
- 17:04Speaker 2: and I think more attractive also. So like it's a
- 17:08Speaker 2: double whammy. Um, but you know, there's a lot of
- 17:13Speaker 2: guys who probably think that a girl who isn't so
- 17:17Speaker 2: happy is maybe more approachable or smiling is more approachable.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I don't know. But for me, that's what it is.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And I think that's, Probably more, I would say that's
- 17:25Speaker 2: probably more guys than not would probably think that a
- 17:28Speaker 2: girl that's like appears smiley or happy or having a
- 17:32Speaker 2: good time. Again, whether it's in your pictures on a
- 17:35Speaker 2: dating app or whether it's out in person, I think
- 17:38Speaker 2: that's what I would say.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Speaking of dating apps, Elizabeth asks, what are men looking
- 17:41Speaker 1: at when going through girls on dating apps?
- 17:44Speaker 2: Depends what they're on the dating apps for. I mean,
- 17:47Speaker 2: if they're going on dating apps looking for like a hookup,
- 17:49Speaker 2: they're looking for something totally different than if they're going
- 17:51Speaker 2: on the dating apps looking for something serious. It's just
- 17:53Speaker 2: like a, but I'll say this, things that you shouldn't
- 17:57Speaker 2: do on the dating apps, I guess. I don't, I
- 17:58Speaker 2: think girls, a lot of girls for whatever reason, they
- 18:01Speaker 2: think they look cooler when they like wear sunglasses or
- 18:04Speaker 2: like are in all these like group pictures. Don't do that.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I think the sunglasses, if you can't see someone's eyes,
- 18:10Speaker 2: like it's basically a meaningless picture.
- 18:12Speaker 1: No sunglasses and no group pics.
- 18:16Speaker 2: A group pick is okay. Not all group picks. But
- 18:18Speaker 2: it cannot be all group picks.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 1: How do you describe yours and Becca's friendship? I'm sure
- 18:25Speaker 1: Tanya is over the moon with it.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Becca and I have a really cool friendship. I think
- 18:30Speaker 2: I'm a Becca and I think Becca's a me to
- 18:32Speaker 2: the extent that like that's a thing. So I think
- 18:33Speaker 2: we just like kind of get along in that way.
- 18:38Speaker 2: But yeah, like we... DM often behind your back about you.
- 18:44Speaker 2: We enjoy playing a good prank on you. You know,
- 18:48Speaker 2: that's how the sausage is made sometimes.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Why do you feel that only the wedding anniversary should
- 18:53Speaker 1: be celebrated? From Maddie. Thank you, Maddie.
- 18:56Speaker 2: First of all, did I say that? When did I
- 18:57Speaker 2: say that?
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yes, on Instagram.
- 18:58Speaker 2: No, I thought that just the wedding anniversary should be celebrated.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I just don't think every single anniversary, like the day
- 19:04Speaker 2: we first met, the day we became official, the day
- 19:08Speaker 2: we got engaged, the day, obviously our wedding anniversary does.
- 19:12Speaker 1: That's just four days.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I know, but you like, these are all like, you
- 19:16Speaker 2: graduate from one to the other. These aren't like a
- 19:19Speaker 2: compilation of things. I do think, if you ask me,
- 19:22Speaker 2: I think that, Like, in other words, the day we
- 19:26Speaker 2: got engaged goes away when we get married. Like, you
- 19:29Speaker 2: don't celebrate that.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It doesn't go away. It's in the tapestry of our relationship.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yes, but in terms of like a celebration. Okay, acknowledgement.
- 19:39Speaker 2: We can acknowledge it. Like, it's in two days.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and you'll be right back here hosting this podcast
- 19:44Speaker 1: with me.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So come prepared. So we will acknowledge it. But for me,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I think, yes, we could celebrate. the day we first met.
- 19:52Speaker 2: That was, that's a great day. Cause that's like starts
- 19:54Speaker 2: it all. And then the day we got married, I
- 19:56Speaker 2: think that's good enough. I know all the dates. Do
- 19:59Speaker 2: you want to quiz me? Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 1: What day, what's the day we met?
- 20:02Speaker 2: November 5th.
- 20:04Speaker 1: What's the day we became official?
- 20:07Speaker 2: February. It was January 30th. No, it's February 3rd. It
- 20:11Speaker 2: wasn't January 30th. Are you sure? Yeah. I'm almost positive.
- 20:14Speaker 2: You always said it was January 30th, but it was
- 20:16Speaker 2: the night we went to Delilah.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Delilah.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It might've been, I think it was February 3rd or
- 20:21Speaker 2: it was early February.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And then obviously, you know, our wedding anniversary and you know,
- 20:26Speaker 1: our engagement anniversary. Okay, fine. He passed.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah. There's no other anniversaries. No. You sure? I feel
- 20:33Speaker 2: like there's more. I feel like you're going to bust
- 20:34Speaker 2: one out on me.
- 20:35Speaker 1: No, no more. Just those four. Um, some, I got
- 20:40Speaker 1: a couple of questions about, Oh, Oh, this one I love.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Which of Tanya's friends do you get along with the best?
- 20:46Speaker 1: Like which friends personality do you mesh with the best
- 20:49Speaker 1: from Lindsay?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Oh man. So who, and like, who's like on this list?
- 20:53Speaker 2: Is it, who's on the list?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Who do you mesh with the best? It's not about
- 20:56Speaker 1: the list. It's just like, who do you mesh with
- 20:58Speaker 1: the best?
- 20:58Speaker 2: I get like, I think you're the, I would say
- 21:00Speaker 2: your three best friends are, And I know you have
- 21:03Speaker 2: a lot of great friends. But I think your three
- 21:04Speaker 2: best friends would be... Pau, Sophia, Becca. In no particular order.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I get along with each of them, like, really well
- 21:14Speaker 2: in different ways. I think that... Pau and I get
- 21:18Speaker 2: along in a very specific way that's very different from
- 21:21Speaker 2: the way that Sophia and I get along. Which is
- 21:23Speaker 2: very different from the way that Becca and I get along. But, like,
- 21:26Speaker 2: we all... I get along with all of them really well.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I don't know who I get along with best. I
- 21:32Speaker 2: would say, like, who do I see the most? I
- 21:34Speaker 2: see Pau probably the most.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Then Sophia, then Becca. But, like, I get along with
- 21:41Speaker 2: all of them really well. Is that not a good answer?
- 21:44Speaker 1: PG answer.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Really? Yeah. Who do you think I get along with
- 21:47Speaker 2: the most? I don't know.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I feel like I do feel like you and Becca
- 21:53Speaker 1: are like the you and Becca in the relationships. And
- 21:55Speaker 1: like me and Haley are the me and Haley. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: they were like, you know what I mean? So I
- 21:59Speaker 1: feel like you guys can relate a lot in that regard. Um,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I feel like you and Sophia are also very similar
- 22:07Speaker 1: and you're like artsy like brains.
- 22:09Speaker 2: You're saying exactly what I'm saying.
- 22:11Speaker 1: No. And then I feel like you and pal have
- 22:13Speaker 1: a very like brotherly sisterly relationship.
- 22:15Speaker 2: That's true. I do have the most brotherly sisterly relationship
- 22:18Speaker 2: with pal. Yeah. I think maybe also cause she's the youngest. Right.
- 22:22Speaker 2: But not just cause of that, but I think that
- 22:24Speaker 2: does lend itself to a more brotherly, but I'm so
- 22:26Speaker 2: much older than all of you. It's like insane. Actually,
- 22:28Speaker 2: when I think about it, It's crazy to me. I'm
- 22:32Speaker 2: old enough to be, I'm closer in age to pal
- 22:35Speaker 2: and Sophia's mom than I am to pal and Sophia.
- 22:38Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Their mom is very young.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely.
- 22:42Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 22:42Speaker 2: She's very young. Yeah. But that's still weird. That's still
- 22:46Speaker 2: unusual for like friends. But yet I don't feel that.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean, I do. I connect.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you have a youthful spirit. Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 2: But also like I connect with their mom really well, too.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Like we get along really well, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: OK, fine. And then also I wanted to this one's
- 23:02Speaker 1: like not as like fun and playful, but people were
- 23:04Speaker 1: asking about kind of just like your job and owning
- 23:09Speaker 1: your own firm and being your own boss. Like what
- 23:11Speaker 1: are the pros and cons? of that versus like somebody
- 23:14Speaker 1: like me who has more of a corporate job.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I see. They want to talk about like how the
- 23:19Speaker 2: sausage is made in like a law firm environment.
- 23:21Speaker 1: What's with the sausage being made? He's said that like
- 23:24Speaker 1: five times today.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I've said the sausage five times.
- 23:27Speaker 1: This is how the sausage is made. Has nobody else
- 23:29Speaker 1: picked up on that?
- 23:30Speaker 2: There's no way I've said it five times.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Three times. This was at least the third time.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I've definitely just said it, but I've only said it
- 23:36Speaker 2: like once.
- 23:37Speaker 1: This is the third time.
- 23:38Speaker 2: That I've said how the sausage is made.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Sausage is made, yes. I'm going to go back and listen,
- 23:42Speaker 1: but yes.
- 23:43Speaker 2: That'd be, I've never said like, it's weird that I
- 23:46Speaker 2: haven't just said it now because I don't really say that. Anyways,
- 23:48Speaker 2: what was the question? How does it feel?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Pros and cons of being your own boss, like having
- 23:54Speaker 1: your own firm versus somebody like me who has like
- 23:56Speaker 1: a corporate job.
- 23:57Speaker 2: First of all, I don't think you have a corporate
- 23:59Speaker 2: job by any stretch of the imagination. That's a wild
- 24:02Speaker 2: way of putting what you have. but you are part
- 24:05Speaker 2: of a corporation and you, you are an employee. Whereas
- 24:10Speaker 2: I am a bot, like I own my firm. So
- 24:13Speaker 2: I get, but I'm, but I'm so like, you have
- 24:16Speaker 2: to answer to your employers.
- 24:18Speaker 1: And to your company.
- 24:20Speaker 2: You're not entirely in charge of your schedule. Like you
- 24:22Speaker 2: have to be certain places at certain times. Uh, but
- 24:27Speaker 2: I answered my clients. So like in a way I
- 24:30Speaker 2: do have to answer them, but yeah, I have way
- 24:31Speaker 2: more freedom, uh, to set my own schedule, to manage
- 24:37Speaker 2: how I want to do my work, how I want
- 24:40Speaker 2: the firm to look, how I want it to feel. Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 2: I make all the decisions. So that's a pro, but
- 24:45Speaker 2: a con, from my job compared to your job, my
- 24:48Speaker 2: job is so boring compared to your job. I have
- 24:50Speaker 2: interesting clients and I do cool deals. Um, I would
- 24:54Speaker 2: say for a lawyer, I have like, for like a
- 24:56Speaker 2: not entertainment type lawyer, I have like really interesting, cool
- 24:59Speaker 2: clients and it's like a lot of fun. Um, but
- 25:02Speaker 2: compared to your job, your job is like so fun
- 25:04Speaker 2: and so cool. And like, yeah, you have to like
- 25:06Speaker 2: be on a schedule, but there's like so much like
- 25:09Speaker 2: off schedule stuff that you get to do as part
- 25:11Speaker 2: of your job. I think it's like really cool and different.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And I don't get any of that. I sit in
- 25:15Speaker 2: an office like basically by myself. There's like three of
- 25:17Speaker 2: us in an office and you.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I know we get home at the end of the
- 25:21Speaker 1: day and I'm like, like, how was your day, babe? Like,
- 25:23Speaker 1: what'd you do today? And he's like, went to work
- 25:25Speaker 1: or dropped off the kids at school, went to work,
- 25:28Speaker 1: had lunch. He'll tell me what he had for lunch.
- 25:31Speaker 1: And then here I am making dinner. I'm like, I
- 25:34Speaker 1: need more than that. Like, I will tell him everything
- 25:37Speaker 1: that we talked about on the morning show.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I'm calling this out. I'm calling this out. You do
- 25:44Speaker 2: say more because you have like a lot of interactions
- 25:46Speaker 2: over the course of the day. You talk to people,
- 25:49Speaker 2: things happen. You're doing interesting things. I literally get to
- 25:52Speaker 2: an office. I sit down, I'm on my computer. I
- 25:54Speaker 2: have a call. I draft this. I negotiate that. I
- 25:57Speaker 2: have another call. It's maybe I go get lunch. That's
- 26:00Speaker 2: about it. Maybe I have a lunch meeting, but rarely. Um,
- 26:04Speaker 2: so like what I do during the day, there's nothing.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Whereas you're socializing and talking and like interesting things are
- 26:10Speaker 2: happening every day. But Eat. Okay, so we both have
- 26:13Speaker 2: our baseline of like the normal stuff that we do
- 26:17Speaker 2: in the day. But you constantly are forgetting to tell
- 26:21Speaker 2: me anything out of the ordinary that happens to you
- 26:23Speaker 2: in the day. And then it comes up a day,
- 26:25Speaker 2: a week later. Oh, you totally forgot to tell me that.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Or like something that I would care. You totally forgot
- 26:30Speaker 2: to tell me that. You totally forgot to tell me that.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Because there's just so much that goes on in a day.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I can't even say it all. No, the lesson here
- 26:36Speaker 2: is we each say what we like want to say.
- 26:43Speaker 2: that's a lesson. That's how the sausage is made.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Oh my God. Did somebody tell you to work this
- 26:50Speaker 1: into the podcast? Somebody put the, put you up on the,
- 26:53Speaker 1: Somebody put you up to this. Who put you up
- 26:55Speaker 1: to this? I knew it.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I knew it. Yeah, you caught on quicker than I thought,
- 27:01Speaker 2: but then maybe I came out of them too quickly.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I couldn't really pace this out.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Who told you to weave in how the sausage is made?
- 27:07Speaker 2: I wanted to play a prank on you on the air.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I knew it. Someone came up with
- 27:12Speaker 2: an idea.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Was it Ronnie?
- 27:14Speaker 2: No, no, no. It was just a follower on Instagram, Scrubber.
- 27:19Speaker 2: But basically, her idea was, come on and do... just
- 27:23Speaker 2: say a bunch of different weird words. I think her
- 27:26Speaker 2: net words are flabbergasted and other weird words that I
- 27:29Speaker 2: wouldn't normally use. But I didn't think that you'd catch
- 27:32Speaker 2: on to just a bunch of different big words because
- 27:35Speaker 2: like whatever. So I just wanted to come up with
- 27:36Speaker 2: a phrase and just say it over and over again
- 27:38Speaker 2: and see how long it took you to react.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 27:41Speaker 2: It was good.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I caught on. You also never say how the sausage
- 27:44Speaker 1: is made. So when I heard it the second time.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I was like, what the hell? I think you heard
- 27:48Speaker 2: it the fourth time.
- 27:49Speaker 1: No, it was the third time. This was the fourth.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I knew it. I literally knew it. Mark had no idea.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Eddie back there is like, I don't know.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Not listening.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Oh, you knew you were in on it.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Yeah, he was in on it. Oh, my gosh. You little, little,
- 28:03Speaker 2: little turds.
- 28:05Speaker 1: People want to know if you've tried my body pillow.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I have not refused to try the body pillow. It's
- 28:12Speaker 2: what your question is. Why do I refuse? Because it's,
- 28:16Speaker 2: it feels now, this is going to sound weird given
- 28:18Speaker 2: the fact that I sleep in a shirt with the
- 28:20Speaker 2: way I sleep, but it just feels very effeminate. It's, uh,
- 28:27Speaker 2: I think the combination of my sleep attire and the
- 28:29Speaker 2: body pillow would be totally unacceptable. I know for a
- 28:33Speaker 2: It's a little pink little curly cute pillow.
- 28:36Speaker 1: We can change the color of it. There's different pillowcases.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you, because you sleep on your side, I
- 28:43Speaker 1: see you when you sleep. I know this is going
- 28:45Speaker 1: to change the game for you.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I just want to be free. My whole sleeping thing
- 28:49Speaker 2: is just to be free. I can't be trapped in a.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It's not trapped. It's luxuriously hugged.
- 28:54Speaker 2: No, I don't need it.
- 28:56Speaker 1: It's so annoying.
- 28:57Speaker 2: If you ever try it one night, I'll try it.
- 28:58Speaker 2: I do.
- 28:58Speaker 1: That's all I've been asking. Just try it for one
- 29:00Speaker 1: night and I know you're going to get hooked. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: just need you to try it for one night.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I'll try it one night.
- 29:04Speaker 1: For the whole night.
- 29:05Speaker 2: But then if I don't like it, what do I get?
- 29:07Speaker 1: Fine. Then I stop asking you to do it.
- 29:09Speaker 2: No, of course you stop asking me to do that.
- 29:10Speaker 2: That doesn't work that way. It has to be something else.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Like what do you want?
- 29:13Speaker 2: I don't know. Like give me more time to clean
- 29:15Speaker 2: the trash can next time without holding it against me.
- 29:19Speaker 1: No, you just get me. I'll just lay off trying
- 29:22Speaker 1: to get you to try, try it out, which I
- 29:25Speaker 1: think is like nice enough. Um, okay. You heard it
- 29:29Speaker 1: here that you are going to try it.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I'm going to try one. night. Yeah.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And then before we get to your questions, I wanted
- 29:36Speaker 1: to ask about people want your point of view on
- 29:42Speaker 1: the floating swimming photo of the Italian pool.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So this is so this is OK. So let me
- 29:49Speaker 2: just lay the like create the scene here. We spent
- 29:53Speaker 2: the entire day at this beach club in Italy, and
- 29:59Speaker 2: the entire day, and it's so hot, and we had
- 30:01Speaker 2: the best day, and we were drinking this sangria that's amazing,
- 30:07Speaker 2: and we were in the heat and swimming, and then
- 30:09Speaker 2: you have to walk up 3,000 steps to get back
- 30:11Speaker 2: up to our hotel.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Not even an exaggeration.
- 30:14Speaker 2: This is not an exaggeration.
- 30:15Speaker 1: It's like 3,000 steps.
- 30:15Speaker 2: It might be more than 3,000 steps. It's insane. You
- 30:18Speaker 2: could take a boat taxi, but this is more, our
- 30:20Speaker 2: hotel is like right at the top. So we walk
- 30:23Speaker 2: back up at the end of the day. It's like
- 30:24Speaker 2: 6 p.m. And we're like, let's just go jump in
- 30:28Speaker 2: the pool to relax, unwind, cool down a little bit.
- 30:32Speaker 2: So we get in the pool and And we're swimming around.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I'm done. I'm going to go sit outside.
- 30:36Speaker 2: She's like, hey, will you just film me floating here?
- 30:40Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I mean, sure. I had no,
- 30:45Speaker 2: there was nothing else. So I just like, sure. You
- 30:48Speaker 2: just want me to film you floating? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Just film me floating. Film me floating. So I get
- 30:52Speaker 2: your camera and I film me floating. And that was
- 30:55Speaker 2: the end of it. No, I didn't hear anything until
- 30:57Speaker 2: the flight home when she's scrolling through her videos and
- 31:01Speaker 2: she pulls up the video and just starts like, Tearing
- 31:04Speaker 2: into me about how terrible this is.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Because in my mind, I had this vision. And this
- 31:08Speaker 1: vision is executed very nicely because everybody keeps sending me
- 31:12Speaker 1: pictures of people floating in the pool and being like,
- 31:14Speaker 1: Robbie could never.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but you didn't show me any of those. Had
- 31:15Speaker 2: you shown me a couple of those?
- 31:17Speaker 1: And I didn't look at it because I just trusted
- 31:18Speaker 1: your work. I just trusted that you got like this
- 31:20Speaker 1: amazing shot. And like the pool was so cool underneath
- 31:23Speaker 1: me that I had this vision of this video just
- 31:25Speaker 1: being so... beautiful and gorgeous. And so I'm going through,
- 31:29Speaker 1: we're like flying home. So I'm like looking through all
- 31:31Speaker 1: the videos and I watched this video and I'm like,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I literally look like a corpse.
- 31:35Speaker 2: You look particularly pale. Yeah. Like paler than you actually are.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Like literally so pale. And that was like day, whatever
- 31:45Speaker 1: of our vacation. I was quite tan.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Yeah. No, but it was a combination of two things
- 31:50Speaker 2: that I would say to blame. One, being exhausted and
- 31:54Speaker 2: like it's the end of the day and all I
- 31:55Speaker 2: want to do is get back to the room and
- 31:57Speaker 2: you're asking me for like this one video. So like
- 32:00Speaker 2: I didn't have the heart to like direct it and
- 32:02Speaker 2: like even really be aware of like what was going on.
- 32:07Speaker 2: And then two, you didn't show me any examples. Have
- 32:08Speaker 2: you showed me an example and said, hey, this is
- 32:10Speaker 2: what I'm going for? I think we would have had something.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And then three, by the way, even that video, I
- 32:13Speaker 2: think if you just like showed like a quick clip
- 32:15Speaker 2: of it, like just a boom, it would have been great.
- 32:17Speaker 2: But you like posted, you're up there for like a
- 32:19Speaker 2: minute being washed in by the tide. Okay.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I want to get to your questions, but maybe we
- 32:26Speaker 1: take a break and come back.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Okay. All right. So I got so I went on
- 32:48Speaker 2: Instagram and asked people privately. So like I blocked all
- 32:52Speaker 2: of you guys to send me questions that were maybe
- 32:54Speaker 2: a little bit more controversial, a little hard hitting things.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Maybe you guys wouldn't talk about or don't talk about
- 33:01Speaker 2: or didn't talk about like fully or they had follow
- 33:03Speaker 2: up questions about. Okay. I would say that most of
- 33:07Speaker 2: the questions I got were really not all that like
- 33:09Speaker 2: edgy or interesting or controversial.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Newsflash, babe. We're not very edgy and controversial on this podcast.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I know, but I think there's stuff. I think there's
- 33:17Speaker 2: stuff that would get people excited, but we'll see if
- 33:19Speaker 2: we can get to it.
- 33:20Speaker 1: That's our whole MO is we're not edgy and controversial.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Like people wanted my opinion on your ridiculous little shopping cart.
- 33:29Speaker 2: People wanted to hear my side of the story about
- 33:31Speaker 2: not being able to smell anything or my smell going
- 33:34Speaker 2: in and out sporadically.
- 33:36Speaker 1: It's really a problem when it comes back quickly.
- 33:39Speaker 2: People wanted to talk about the neighbors in the mail packages. Like,
- 33:41Speaker 2: do we want to talk about any of that? The
- 33:43Speaker 2: neighbors in the mail package, I could tell my side
- 33:44Speaker 2: of the story. I think I have to defend myself
- 33:46Speaker 2: a little bit. How do you defend yourself? You didn't
- 33:48Speaker 2: tell it exactly right. I mean, no, no, no. I
- 33:49Speaker 2: was in the wrong. There's no question that I totally forgot.
- 33:52Speaker 2: But here's what happened. She didn't come over. So first
- 33:55Speaker 2: of all, these neighbors are so nice. They're like amazing.
- 33:59Speaker 2: The woman is like this, this a little bit older lady,
- 34:03Speaker 2: but she's like an artist. And the man you could
- 34:05Speaker 2: tell was like, I actually found out he used to
- 34:08Speaker 2: be like some very successful, like comedy writer back in
- 34:12Speaker 2: the day. And so, yeah, I found out from our day. Yeah, exactly.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I forgot. I'm telling you now though, this is, I
- 34:20Speaker 2: was saving it for now. So anyways, like very cute,
- 34:24Speaker 2: like interesting, fun, funny people. And like, we just, they
- 34:27Speaker 2: just moved in. So we met them and you know,
- 34:30Speaker 2: they invited us in the other day. Okay. So now
- 34:32Speaker 2: flash forward, like a couple months later, And Tanya is
- 34:35Speaker 2: coming back from something with someone. So she's getting dropped
- 34:39Speaker 2: off by one of her friends and Sonny's freaking out.
- 34:41Speaker 2: So I walk out there, I'm holding Sonny to go
- 34:43Speaker 2: say hi to Tanya outside. We're outside of our house.
- 34:47Speaker 2: She didn't come and knock on our door and make
- 34:50Speaker 2: a thing of it and ask me. I'm outside saying
- 34:53Speaker 2: hi to you, Sunny saying hi to you, I forget
- 34:55Speaker 2: which one of your friends was there dropping you off,
- 34:58Speaker 2: talking to them, and then she just kind of pops
- 35:00Speaker 2: out and she starts chatting to me. And she's like,
- 35:02Speaker 2: oh hey, by the way, we're gonna be out of town.
- 35:05Speaker 2: She said, do you mind just occasionally checking to see
- 35:09Speaker 2: if we have any packages and bringing the packages in
- 35:11Speaker 2: while we're gone? I was like, yeah, sure. And I
- 35:13Speaker 2: meant it when I said it, but I was just distracted.
- 35:16Speaker 2: And I just told, and I totally, totally, totally forgot.
- 35:19Speaker 2: And so I forgot to tell you, you were there,
- 35:21Speaker 2: but you didn't hear it. Cause you were like getting
- 35:22Speaker 2: out of the car, whatever. And I just totally forgot.
- 35:24Speaker 2: And then, so when the guy came over, but we
- 35:27Speaker 2: weren't supposed to get the mail, the mail, I think
- 35:29Speaker 2: she said the other neighbor, I think she said the
- 35:32Speaker 2: other neighbor was getting the mail. I'm pretty sure, but
- 35:34Speaker 2: we're supposed to get the packages. Uh, and I just
- 35:37Speaker 2: totally forgot to check the packages. So that's the honest
- 35:39Speaker 2: part of the story. And it's on me to go
- 35:42Speaker 2: and like, apologize to them. And I, and I will.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I'm going to have to bake them something.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I'm like, so off. I just like, I don't even
- 35:53Speaker 1: see them.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I don't think they're that upset by it, to be honest.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Like I, it wasn't that formal of an arrangement.
- 36:01Speaker 1: If I asked our neighbors to pick up our packages
- 36:03Speaker 1: while we were on vacation and they didn't, I'd be
- 36:05Speaker 1: so pissed.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I think I was like, yeah, yeah, sure. Yeah, we'll
- 36:09Speaker 2: do our best. We'll do our best.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I think you have to apologize. I think you also
- 36:12Speaker 1: have to let them know to ask me these things.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, that definitely is the main part of the message. Yeah,
- 36:17Speaker 2: they need to.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Okay, what are your other controversial questions?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Okay, that wasn't controversial. Obviously not that controversial. It's one
- 36:21Speaker 2: of my side of the story. Uh, is Tanya, was
- 36:25Speaker 2: Tanya BS? I don't know what this is about, but
- 36:27Speaker 2: was she, or was Tanya BSing acting like she won't
- 36:30Speaker 2: go out for like your future child's first birthday? I
- 36:32Speaker 2: think you, maybe this is like on the podcast with, uh, with.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Ashley, but I, so I think, I don't know how
- 36:38Speaker 1: it got misconstrued, but I don't agree with Ashley's take
- 36:42Speaker 1: on not having parties for your kids.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Like that's what the people were commenting saying. tanya she
- 36:48Speaker 1: totally will do this she has a misunderstanding because.
- 36:51Speaker 2: The way you go off for sunny.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah i'm like i'm having birthday parties for my dog.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Making merch i'm gonna do this for my child yeah
- 36:58Speaker 2: okay so it's just a misunderstanding yeah i.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Think it was i don't know how it was misunderstood
- 37:01Speaker 1: but i think.
- 37:02Speaker 2: It was all right now here's one that i so
- 37:04Speaker 2: this is one i got a lot uh And I
- 37:08Speaker 2: think it's a question for you. I think it's more
- 37:09Speaker 2: of a question for Mark. So no, no, no, no.
- 37:12Speaker 2: The people are asking and they've asked us forever. And
- 37:14Speaker 2: I know it's not a Becca and Tanya thing because
- 37:16Speaker 2: I know you guys have been trying to do this.
- 37:18Speaker 2: But why is the podcast not on YouTube? Because your
- 37:22Speaker 2: facial expression. Oh, hands up, Mark. Hands up. Yeah. We
- 37:26Speaker 2: hit a nerve.
- 37:27Speaker 1: It's not a Mark question either. It's not a Mark
- 37:29Speaker 1: question either.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Who do they have to email? Who do they have
- 37:31Speaker 2: to mail? We can get 10,000 letters.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Email scrubbing in iheartmedia.com.
- 37:36Speaker 2: No, I think we got to go higher than that.
- 37:37Speaker 2: What's the iHeart email address? Scrubbers, wherever it is. By
- 37:42Speaker 2: the way, you guys should 100% have a YouTube. It's ridiculous.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Why don't you? I know.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to this. It's like bigger
- 37:47Speaker 1: than me. It's like bigger than.
- 37:49Speaker 2: But like your facial expression, not just you, your facial
- 37:53Speaker 2: expressions are gold. And Becca too. Becca is hilarious. And
- 37:57Speaker 2: Mark and Easton are like the faces that it's just
- 37:59Speaker 2: all very, very funny. And we're missing that whole thing.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Thanks for being a fan.
- 38:03Speaker 2: And every podcast is on YouTube. Anyways. Okay. So no
- 38:07Speaker 2: answers here today, guys, but maybe find a good email
- 38:10Speaker 2: address and start emailing people or sending letters. Okay. This
- 38:15Speaker 2: is a good one. Well, I'll get to this one.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I'm going to, the Becca hiding the Taylor invite. I'm
- 38:21Speaker 2: going to get to that one next, but I also
- 38:24Speaker 2: got a bunch. Well, because I know, because I think
- 38:26Speaker 2: that's a really good one. Uh, I got a bunch
- 38:30Speaker 2: of questions. And I don't know. Did you guys talk
- 38:32Speaker 2: about this? About me officiating Becca and Hailey's wedding?
- 38:35Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 38:36Speaker 2: A lot of people were asking me about that. But
- 38:38Speaker 2: where did that come from?
- 38:39Speaker 1: I fear maybe I spoke out of line.
- 38:42Speaker 2: No one's ever... By the way, it would be an honor.
- 38:46Speaker 2: I have zero expectation of that.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Yeah, this was something that Becca... mentioned to me like
- 38:50Speaker 1: very early on, like, this isn't like that. There was
- 38:53Speaker 1: just like names that they were throwing around and you
- 38:56Speaker 1: were in the mix. I thought I had, yeah, listen,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I probably spoke out of line on that. Um, my apologies.
- 39:05Speaker 2: There's some momentum there. So no one's, no one has
- 39:08Speaker 2: ever brought that up. I would have no expectation of
- 39:12Speaker 2: that whatsoever. It was kind of a shock. I kept
- 39:14Speaker 2: getting the question. I was like, where's this even coming from?
- 39:15Speaker 2: It's very shocking.
- 39:16Speaker 1: By the way, thanks for listening to the podcast.
- 39:18Speaker 2: You told me not to listen.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, true.
- 39:21Speaker 2: But the one time I did listen and why I'm very,
- 39:24Speaker 2: very qualified to answer the next question is your true feelings.
- 39:30Speaker 2: about not being told about the Taylor invite.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 39:34Speaker 2: This, I think, listen, you guys, I listened because I
- 39:37Speaker 2: had to hear, because I, okay, I'm going to edit
- 39:42Speaker 2: whatever has to be edited out of this. I have
- 39:43Speaker 2: no idea. Maybe nothing, but Let's start with you were very,
- 39:50Speaker 2: very angry and also very, very hurt when you found out.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Let's also say. Okay. So, and I don't think that,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I think that people felt that the way you guys
- 40:05Speaker 2: addressed it on the podcast, you did say that, but
- 40:09Speaker 2: I don't think you, I think people felt that you
- 40:11Speaker 2: weren't saying it to the depths that it really did
- 40:13Speaker 2: upset you. And so I, so you were very hurt
- 40:17Speaker 2: and upset. I want to like explain the situation from
- 40:19Speaker 2: my perspective. You were very angry, hurt. I think also
- 40:24Speaker 2: from the, so, so from Becker's perspective, I want to
- 40:26Speaker 2: say that she was in a, I think a very, very,
- 40:28Speaker 2: very tough spot because it wasn't, first of all, it
- 40:32Speaker 2: wasn't Becca's invitation. It wasn't like Becca's thing. It's Haley's thing.
- 40:38Speaker 2: And Becca was like her plus one, her date, whatever.
- 40:42Speaker 2: And then you layer on top of that, like that
- 40:44Speaker 2: there's all these crazy NDAs. So I, so totally justifiable
- 40:48Speaker 2: that Haley would say, Hey, listen, um, I know you're
- 40:51Speaker 2: going to want to tell people like, don't tell anybody.
- 40:53Speaker 2: And so for Becca, that is an extra layer of like,
- 40:59Speaker 2: she can't, that's like a tough position for her to
- 41:01Speaker 2: be in. Something that I think if it was her invitation,
- 41:04Speaker 2: she probably would have told you NDA, like notwithstanding. I mean, again, lawyer,
- 41:08Speaker 2: no like legal disclaimer here, but I think she would
- 41:10Speaker 2: tell you because of your guys' friendship, but also because, Listen,
- 41:17Speaker 2: you're hilarious and you can say a lot of silly
- 41:22Speaker 2: things and you're a great personality and all those things.
- 41:28Speaker 2: But you're also a broadcasting professional for over... How many years?
- 41:33Speaker 2: 15 plus years? Sure. You have... you know, you have
- 41:38Speaker 2: information and secrets and know a lot of things about
- 41:42Speaker 2: a lot of things and are involved in a lot
- 41:44Speaker 2: of things that you are not allowed to and cannot
- 41:46Speaker 2: talk about on the air or anywhere publicly. And you've
- 41:50Speaker 2: been doing that for 15 years. So like, there's no,
- 41:51Speaker 2: I don't think Becca has any question that you could
- 41:55Speaker 2: keep that secret. So I think that Becca was in
- 41:57Speaker 2: a really tough spot because if, if, if Haley justifiably
- 42:00Speaker 2: is like, listen, like, please don't tell anybody. She's then
- 42:02Speaker 2: like feels extra pressure to not tell you. But I
- 42:06Speaker 2: think so for her not to tell you right away,
- 42:09Speaker 2: like leading up to it is one thing, right? Like
- 42:13Speaker 2: she wasn't going to tell you leading up to it. Fine.
- 42:16Speaker 2: But then when, when she told you she was going
- 42:19Speaker 2: to New York to celebrate their anniversary and you, and
- 42:23Speaker 2: we were gone.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And we were in Mexico. Robbie saw the meltdown in
- 42:27Speaker 1: real life, in real time.
- 42:29Speaker 2: It was a meltdown. You didn't address it. It was
- 42:30Speaker 2: a melt. It was like a real meltdown. That's the thing. Like, and,
- 42:33Speaker 2: and I'll, I'll get to more to your state of
- 42:35Speaker 2: mind too, but, but so like not telling you right
- 42:39Speaker 2: when they got an invitation months before or whatever, weeks before,
- 42:42Speaker 2: whatever it was fine, maybe fine. I get it. Um,
- 42:47Speaker 2: but then, okay. So now they're going to New York
- 42:51Speaker 2: for their anniversary. So Becca has to like, overtly lie
- 42:55Speaker 2: to you about that. Okay, fine. I get that too. She's,
- 42:58Speaker 2: she's continuing to hide it. But then when you like
- 43:02Speaker 2: start to put the pieces together, you're like, Oh, they're
- 43:04Speaker 2: going to New York. Wait a second. The wedding is
- 43:06Speaker 2: in New York or supposedly in New York. and you
- 43:09Speaker 2: started to put the pieces together, and then you straight up.
- 43:11Speaker 1: But I was like, there's no way. There's no way
- 43:13Speaker 1: she's going, because she would have told me if she
- 43:15Speaker 1: was going. I was putting the pieces together, but then
- 43:17Speaker 1: I was like, there's no way they're going. Becca would
- 43:19Speaker 1: have told me. There's just no way.
- 43:20Speaker 2: You were of two minds. You were like, there's no
- 43:22Speaker 2: way Becca wouldn't tell me, but then at some point,
- 43:25Speaker 2: you were like, of course Haley got invited. Of course
- 43:28Speaker 2: they're going.
- 43:29Speaker 1: And I was like, why would they go to New
- 43:30Speaker 1: York for their anniversary?
- 43:32Speaker 2: This is so weird. So then you, the day before.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 2: You just straight up asked her, are you there for
- 43:38Speaker 2: the wedding? And she, that she like overtly ghosted and like,
- 43:45Speaker 2: and like, I mean, lied in that instance. I think
- 43:48Speaker 2: that up until that point, I would side with Becca
- 43:54Speaker 2: and say, I get it. I totally understand what she's doing.
- 43:57Speaker 2: But in that moment, the day before, they're already there.
- 44:00Speaker 2: By the way, everybody is breaking their NDAs. The fact
- 44:03Speaker 2: that the wedding was in New York, the fact that
- 44:05Speaker 2: it was at Madison Square Garden, the fact that it
- 44:07Speaker 2: was already all out there. So I think in that moment,
- 44:11Speaker 2: when you asked to not tell you I think that
- 44:16Speaker 2: that was what really set you over the edge, like
- 44:19Speaker 2: beside all of it. That's what really sent you over
- 44:21Speaker 2: the edge. And then let's layer in a little more
- 44:24Speaker 2: context here if we can. If people care, do people care?
- 44:26Speaker 2: I can layer in some more context. Is this interesting
- 44:29Speaker 2: at all? Okay, well, okay. So like you, obviously for
- 44:33Speaker 2: the past year, but really six months have been dealing,
- 44:37Speaker 2: seven months now, eight months now, have been dealing with
- 44:39Speaker 2: like a lot, you've been very hyper- emotional going through
- 44:45Speaker 2: a lot in your life and being very hyper-emotional hormonal
- 44:49Speaker 2: things happening to you and all kinds of stuff. So
- 44:51Speaker 2: you're already hyper-emotional. It's been a rough eight months for
- 44:54Speaker 2: all of us in Tanya's circle, but totally get it.
- 44:58Speaker 2: And you have every, you know, you had every, every right,
- 45:00Speaker 2: but you were hyper-emotional at this time. So couple that
- 45:04Speaker 2: with Becca and Haley also going through like the biggest
- 45:10Speaker 2: thing moment of Hailey's career to date, right? Her movie
- 45:16Speaker 2: coming out and them being so engrossed in that that
- 45:22Speaker 2: Becca was a little bit like in her own world
- 45:26Speaker 2: also for like several months. It wasn't like weeks. I mean,
- 45:29Speaker 2: the movie stuff was going on for months and months.
- 45:32Speaker 2: I mean, there was a lot that they were doing
- 45:35Speaker 2: and Becca was there for Hailey and it was an
- 45:38Speaker 2: amazing thing. We were there obviously also. But that like,
- 45:41Speaker 2: so you're hyper emotional. Becca is not as present with
- 45:45Speaker 2: you as she ordinarily is. Cause like they're doing their
- 45:48Speaker 2: own thing. That's building up. You're not, you guys aren't
- 45:51Speaker 2: communicating about that, but that's building up. And then it
- 45:54Speaker 2: culminates in this like, Oh, you know, just straight up
- 45:56Speaker 2: lie thing. Um, so yeah, it was like a perfect storm,
- 46:03Speaker 2: but you were really, really hurt and upset.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I was.
- 46:06Speaker 2: And, you know, frankly, you guys did talk about it, uh,
- 46:09Speaker 2: off the air and like you guys, you know, it
- 46:11Speaker 2: was a very healthy way of dealing with it. And
- 46:14Speaker 2: you guys are, you know, it hasn't affected your friendship.
- 46:16Speaker 2: You guys are amazing friends, but it was like a
- 46:18Speaker 2: crisis that you guys were kind of Yeah.
- 46:20Speaker 1: And I think also too, like you said, I didn't,
- 46:22Speaker 1: I was feeling these things from Becca for, I'd say
- 46:25Speaker 1: the last like month prior, like really. And, and I,
- 46:28Speaker 1: but I never expressed it to her. And so she
- 46:31Speaker 1: didn't really know. And then, yeah, it like all kind
- 46:34Speaker 1: of crescendoed with this wedding. And I did, I had
- 46:36Speaker 1: like a full blown, like meltdown. I remember in Mexico
- 46:39Speaker 1: and like, you had to talk me off a ledge.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Cause I was just like so hurt by it, but
- 46:43Speaker 1: I regret the way that I acted because I feel like, um,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I wish I had a, like that was such an
- 46:50Speaker 1: exciting thing for her. You know what I mean? Like
- 46:52Speaker 1: as Taylor Swift fans, like that was such a huge thing.
- 46:54Speaker 1: And I, I regret that that's now the memory we
- 46:57Speaker 1: have of that as like me just like being nasty.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I think that's part of the memory.
- 47:02Speaker 1: I don't think that's the only memory. I wish I
- 47:05Speaker 1: would have, I wish I could have like compartmentalized and
- 47:08Speaker 1: like been happy in the moment and then had like
- 47:10Speaker 1: those discussions with her after. Um, but yeah, I mean,
- 47:14Speaker 1: obviously we've talked through it and we had like, you know,
- 47:17Speaker 1: long walk and just, talked it all out and obviously
- 47:20Speaker 1: we're fine. But yeah, I was definitely like very dark
- 47:24Speaker 1: over that, but I am, I'm very heightened. My emotions
- 47:27Speaker 1: are very, very high right now. And yes, there's like
- 47:30Speaker 1: hormonal things going on with me. Like, I don't even know.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Was it when I was, when I was, was I
- 47:35Speaker 1: on progesterone at that point?
- 47:36Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Are you sure? Are you sure?
- 47:38Speaker 2: You weren't on progesterone at that point, but yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Um, but yeah, there's a lot of hormones going on.
- 47:43Speaker 1: So I'm just like very, uh, on edge.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I think that might be the end of this podcast.
- 47:53Speaker 1: That might be the end of this podcast. And speaking of,
- 47:55Speaker 1: I got a lot of questions about our TTC journey,
- 47:59Speaker 1: but I'll just save those because you're going to come
- 48:02Speaker 1: back for our Thursday Dear Banya episode. Thank you so
- 48:05Speaker 1: much for taking the time. So we'll wrap up this podcast.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Maybe we'll even play a game on Thursday. We'll see.
- 48:12Speaker 1: And it's a very special day on Thursday, which We
- 48:16Speaker 1: will celebrate on the podcast. Hope you're ready, babe. Love you.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Bye.
