- 0:11Speaker 1: so low, what what happened? What happened? What happened? I
- 0:17Speaker 1: think the compete the zoom just cuts out or whatever,
- 0:20Speaker 1: like the computer zoom clipped you Yeah, okay, And it's
- 0:27Speaker 1: ill produced by me O c T what they do.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Baby guys. It's the last episode of the very Last Man.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm just so tired, and we are still doing this
- 0:41Speaker 1: from home at the very end of we are still
- 0:45Speaker 1: posting the Ball Alert Show podcasts from home. Yes, did
- 0:50Speaker 1: y'all think it was gonna last this long? Mm hmm yes,
- 0:57Speaker 1: because Liko is in charge. You're getting about it though.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Isn't it crazy how Joe Biden isn't even in the
- 1:06Speaker 1: office yet and it's already given us such a presidential vibe.
- 1:11Speaker 1: He already has his team together, he's already telling us
- 1:14Speaker 1: what his plans are. And then we can't even you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: two thousand now stimulus checked, that's been well overdue from
- 1:21Speaker 1: the current administration. Then checking chieve six honey tokens that's
- 1:29Speaker 1: coming from the presidential seat. I don't know, y'all, I'm
- 1:32Speaker 1: I'm over. I'm over. I've been over. I've been over it.
- 1:36Speaker 1: What's killing me about that? Though? It's like everybody's like,
- 1:39Speaker 1: oh yeah, the new Year. Oh my god, I can't wait.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Like this pandemic is getting on my nerves. It's not
- 1:44Speaker 1: gonna go away at the stroke of midnight, y'all. It's
- 1:47Speaker 1: not over January one. We got a lot of work
- 1:51Speaker 1: to do. And to be honest, like I think we
- 1:54Speaker 1: have a lot of healing to do. A lot of
- 1:56Speaker 1: people are gonna realize how traumatic money has actually been.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't think it's hit a lot of people yet,
- 2:03Speaker 1: but it will sink in very soon. Well you know
- 2:06Speaker 1: what it's needs to sink in in case you missed it,
- 2:12Speaker 1: all right, Jeremiah still wears his hospital bracelet. After the
- 2:16Speaker 1: COVID battle, he told Kendri g of Chicago's One of
- 2:20Speaker 1: Seven five w g C, I what up? What up?
- 2:22Speaker 1: What up? Shottown n What did do baby? It's just
- 2:27Speaker 1: a reminder of what I've been through. Then, he joked
- 2:29Speaker 1: at the same time, these type of bands are hard
- 2:32Speaker 1: to take off too. Um, I mean, the hospital bands
- 2:37Speaker 1: are pretty tough to take off. Not famil, are you ripping?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Bitches off, But I under I understand the sentiment, and
- 2:45Speaker 1: I know that the COVID is real, and I know
- 2:47Speaker 1: he had a near um, near life situation. So um,
- 2:54Speaker 1: thoughts of prayers to him. I'm glad he's okay. I
- 2:56Speaker 1: am so happy that he is okay. Um. You know,
- 3:01Speaker 1: when the articles were coming out, it was scary, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 1: not just because he's Jeremib but but but for anyone
- 3:07Speaker 1: that has been dealing with COVID nineteen to the extent
- 3:10Speaker 1: that he was dealing with it. I mean, we heard
- 3:12Speaker 1: some horror stories of people that had to be on ventilators.
- 3:15Speaker 1: We've heard people even say that they may be dealing
- 3:18Speaker 1: with long term effects after having COVID. So it was scary.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You know, the community definitely rallied and prayed for him.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I just need you to take the band off off, bro,
- 3:32Speaker 1: just like y'all know artists. I don't know that that's
- 3:36Speaker 1: something to do with artistist, but I say artists because
- 3:40Speaker 1: you know some people they take things and you know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: he could be in the studio right now, you know
- 3:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying, make it a record, and this could
- 3:48Speaker 1: be his you know, motivation two to push that out.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You know, what I'm saying. Everything inspires artists in many
- 3:58Speaker 1: different ways. So maybe he's in the studio now, who knows.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I don't know, but piece of Jeremiah. I'm glad he's
- 4:06Speaker 1: feeling better. I wonder if he apologize to Tiana Taylor
- 4:09Speaker 1: now that he's gone through ma'am. Okay, let's move along.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Us and his wife, Samantha, gives an announced of divorce. Wow,
- 4:21Speaker 1: what is this guy? Damn his his brain rober got
- 4:24Speaker 1: stolen out the driveway. I mean he got it back
- 4:26Speaker 1: in three hours. But now this with a wife, that's sad.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The announce on social media that they were divorcing. Any
- 4:34Speaker 1: of their four year marriage. Tyres and Semantha married the
- 4:37Speaker 1: two seventeen. Their daughter was born in two thousand and eighteen.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Should be three. Throughout this marriage with Samantha, it's been
- 4:46Speaker 1: a pretty you know. Yeah, yeah, Trease goes through it.
- 4:53Speaker 1: He's been going through it. I mean, it makes you wonder, like,
- 4:57Speaker 1: is it him? I was just about say after this,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but so many times now, Broy, it's the fingers gonna
- 5:05Speaker 1: start pointing this way or this way back, and then
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's gonna go start going like these people are gonna
- 5:16Speaker 1: be alright alone. Now, I mean, unfortunately, you know, sometimes
- 5:21Speaker 1: trouble does follow people, you know, so it may not
- 5:24Speaker 1: necessarily be fair to think that it is him or
- 5:27Speaker 1: assume that it is him. But after a while, you're right,
- 5:30Speaker 1: like where they're smoke, there's fired, and people are going
- 5:33Speaker 1: to start to question him. So nonetheless, I hope they
- 5:37Speaker 1: are okay. I hope they can co parent. I hope
- 5:40Speaker 1: that he has access to this child um as freely
- 5:43Speaker 1: as as any parent deserves has to have access to
- 5:46Speaker 1: their kid um. And I just hope that they can
- 5:50Speaker 1: make it through the holiday season. It's already been brough,
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like this year has already been rough. So to imagine
- 5:55Speaker 1: a child dealing with what everyone else felt was and
- 5:59Speaker 1: then dealing with your family splitting up during the holiday season,
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's rough. A lot of people already have holiday anxiety.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I am one of them, so I couldnt imagine going
- 6:09Speaker 1: through that as a kid. Okay, I got some good news.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You know, y'all know I'm sneaker head Master Pe and
- 6:15Speaker 1: Baron Davis. You know, he's a former NBA player. They
- 6:18Speaker 1: are in talks to by reboked for two point four
- 6:22Speaker 1: billion dollars. Alert really worth that much? Well, you know,
- 6:31Speaker 1: Adidas acquired Rebok back in two thousand five for three
- 6:35Speaker 1: point eight billion. However, it's value has decreased significantly and
- 6:40Speaker 1: Adidas is looking to offload this brand. So who better
- 6:45Speaker 1: to buy then master P. But you know, mamter P,
- 6:49Speaker 1: he has his own shoe called them in Natti, So
- 6:53Speaker 1: I wonder will but they're cool cool. Well I wonder
- 7:00Speaker 1: if if that could be a collaboration right there, if
- 7:02Speaker 1: he oh just put them in Nati on reboking you
- 7:05Speaker 1: know that now that now, that would definitely be a better. Look,
- 7:09Speaker 1: what is the plan? Okay, you obtained this company that
- 7:12Speaker 1: has already appreciattive value, right, what is the plan from
- 7:18Speaker 1: master P to to take it back to where it
- 7:21Speaker 1: needs to be or take it up to where it
- 7:23Speaker 1: needs to be back rebranded? Yeah? First, the first things first,
- 7:27Speaker 1: they need to they need to sign a marquee athlete.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So it won't be a Lebron but like a Zion
- 7:35Speaker 1: but see Zion signed to Jordan's. But it will have
- 7:37Speaker 1: to be a marquee talented um athlete or I mean
- 7:46Speaker 1: they've worked with athletes, and I just think that sometimes
- 7:49Speaker 1: y'all know this man, like sometimes sometimes it might just
- 7:54Speaker 1: it needs to be a marquee athlete though. It has
- 7:57Speaker 1: to be uh Paul George or um uh Kawai Leonard.
- 8:03Speaker 1: It has to be someone that if it's not that big,
- 8:08Speaker 1: then you know it's gonna be you know, they would
- 8:11Speaker 1: still just be average. Now do you think they designers
- 8:15Speaker 1: on the team? What was that? They need some new designers,
- 8:18Speaker 1: some new sneaker designers. They definitely need some off whites. Rebox,
- 8:25Speaker 1: they need some off whites they need. I was never
- 8:28Speaker 1: a Rebox fan though, like they are right, it was
- 8:32Speaker 1: just the Classics for me, But every other ship that
- 8:34Speaker 1: they really liked was just just not the Iverson's Lilla.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Iverson was a marquee athlete. That's what I'm trying to say.
- 8:44Speaker 1: A marquee athlete will make you look at it differently,
- 8:48Speaker 1: Like look at how we looked at under Armor when
- 8:50Speaker 1: Steph Curry was on his tear. The kids were buying
- 8:53Speaker 1: under Armor, and right now Kauai Kawai Leonard got some
- 8:57Speaker 1: some kids buying New Balance because he's with new battles.
- 9:01Speaker 1: But if Rebot can grab him and give him a
- 9:03Speaker 1: shoot that looks dope, and who who like ka um
- 9:08Speaker 1: Kawi Leonard Baron Davis, Masterpee, come on, man, make that happen.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And then of course they got to redrop some arms
- 9:14Speaker 1: from Ali I prison shoes, some some newer silhoue. Now
- 9:17Speaker 1: that would be so fire. I am excited that, you know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Master Pie wants to do this. I just really hope
- 9:24Speaker 1: and pray that it is the revival that we bought me.
- 9:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It would be so fire
- 9:31Speaker 1: if we could have this black owned company, you know
- 9:35Speaker 1: that we could probably rock and support and see it
- 9:37Speaker 1: go back to this big brand name that it really
- 9:40Speaker 1: used to be. I mean, it definitely is still recognizeable.
- 9:44Speaker 1: People still know the brand, but it's just it's not
- 9:46Speaker 1: like how it used to be. So I do hope
- 9:48Speaker 1: that Master Pie can take this and run with it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's like we know he can. Um hope they just
- 9:59Speaker 1: don't just hold it. And I think that people should
- 10:03Speaker 1: just buy it because it's black owned. Now. Young Thugs
- 10:08Speaker 1: says that he has more anthems than jay Z. What
- 10:12Speaker 1: do you think, Rory? I think Young Thug is a
- 10:16Speaker 1: very smart individual. Um, he's a unicorn. I ain't gonna
- 10:22Speaker 1: lie to y'all. He's a unicorn. He's specially gifted artists,
- 10:27Speaker 1: and he knows what he's doing when he says things
- 10:29Speaker 1: like this, Uh, do I think he has more anthems
- 10:33Speaker 1: than jay Z? No, but you cannot deny Young Thugs
- 10:44Speaker 1: records he has. Now, he has said that it's not
- 10:47Speaker 1: about he's he records. His argument is that the kids
- 10:52Speaker 1: know more Young Thugs songs. They just know more than
- 10:56Speaker 1: jay Z songs. I would agree with that. I would
- 10:58Speaker 1: agree with that, and not the obvious like there's a
- 11:04Speaker 1: major generational gap. Of course, of course there are rappers
- 11:10Speaker 1: that we listen to now that don't really know about
- 11:13Speaker 1: jay Z's catalog. So of course the generation that's probably
- 11:18Speaker 1: these current rappers don't know much about jay Z. So
- 11:21Speaker 1: I think it's it's an unfair comparison. Although it's true
- 11:25Speaker 1: to a degree. I think it's unfair to say, like,
- 11:29Speaker 1: because the kids know me, I have more anthems, that
- 11:33Speaker 1: that's I mean, I don't know who was popping to
- 11:36Speaker 1: three generations ago, you know what I'm saying, unless I've
- 11:39Speaker 1: looked into it. And these kids these days, they're not
- 11:44Speaker 1: music sounds a lot of like right now. Okay, A
- 11:46Speaker 1: lot of artists are taking the same melodies and same
- 11:50Speaker 1: style and that's what they're rocking with. So of course,
- 11:52Speaker 1: if this is all I listened to in the New Age,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you care enough to research what was popping back then
- 11:58Speaker 1: when it sounds completely different in a city girl NBA world,
- 12:05Speaker 1: young NBA world. I've talked to this kid. He was
- 12:09Speaker 1: about he about eleven. He thought jay Z was a singer.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Wait time out. My twelve year old considers jay Z
- 12:17Speaker 1: Beyonce's husband. She doesn't know nothing about his music. I
- 12:21Speaker 1: had to who he was and what he did and
- 12:24Speaker 1: how much he has contributed to the mutual to culture.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I had to teach her that though you know what
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm saying, and if if a parent or someone who's
- 12:33Speaker 1: older doesn't do that, than someone who's twelve fifteen is
- 12:39Speaker 1: gonna gravitate towards who's popular right now. I'm not gonna
- 12:42Speaker 1: necessarily say that. Like, you know, you have to live
- 12:46Speaker 1: every day praising, you know, publicly praising the people ahead
- 12:50Speaker 1: of you. But we have to stop discrediting people that
- 12:56Speaker 1: really set the bar, especially within our own culture. It's like,
- 13:00Speaker 1: we gotta stop doing that. Yes, we are younger, we're fresh,
- 13:05Speaker 1: we are popping right now. I got you, but please
- 13:09Speaker 1: try not to discredit your own, especially in our in
- 13:14Speaker 1: our own industries, Like we needed jay Z to do
- 13:18Speaker 1: everything he did in his past, which is leading him
- 13:20Speaker 1: to do everything he's doing currently and he's leaving his
- 13:23Speaker 1: mark on the world. So I'm not really into the
- 13:27Speaker 1: comparisons because sometimes it comes off as if you're disrespecting
- 13:34Speaker 1: the other person. One person, yeah, I got you, And
- 13:37Speaker 1: like for example of the Kobe and Lebron thing before
- 13:39Speaker 1: Kobe passed away r P Cope, they always compare Kobe
- 13:43Speaker 1: and Lebron and Kobe fans we're so disrespectful, respectful towards
- 13:47Speaker 1: Lebron fans, and vice versa. The same thing with Lebron
- 13:50Speaker 1: and Michael Jordan's same thing. The younger generation think Lebron
- 13:54Speaker 1: is the goat and the older generation thinks that Michael
- 13:58Speaker 1: Jordan's the goat, and the conversations sometimes tend to get
- 14:02Speaker 1: disrespectful between the two. Well, let me say this. I
- 14:06Speaker 1: don't know I don't know thirty to forty Young Thug songs,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't know every Young Thugs song, and I don't
- 14:13Speaker 1: know whevery jay Z song, So how about that? But
- 14:17Speaker 1: what I do know is that bitcoin is popping, You're
- 14:22Speaker 1: making its way to the sports world. Yeah, this dude,
- 14:25Speaker 1: all this Panthers, the Carolina Panthers tackle Russell whom I
- 14:30Speaker 1: hope I've seen his name right? Who come to get
- 14:34Speaker 1: half of his salary paid in bitcoin? I don't love
- 14:38Speaker 1: that's smart or or dope or what I mean. I mean,
- 14:43Speaker 1: from my understanding, bitcoin is doing absolutely amazing and one
- 14:47Speaker 1: bitcoin equals a whole lot of ship ton of money. Um.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I don't necessarily understand cryptocurrency, so I'm not even gonna
- 14:54Speaker 1: sit here and say too much about it. But I
- 14:57Speaker 1: think if you truly believe that we are going into
- 15:02Speaker 1: digital currency, then will be ahead of the curb and
- 15:08Speaker 1: our people actually making legal purchases with bitcoin already. Yes,
- 15:13Speaker 1: so what what's the problem. I believe it has to
- 15:16Speaker 1: be rather large, but yeah, definitely. I mean, as long
- 15:19Speaker 1: as you could spend the money then Yeah, he tweeted
- 15:24Speaker 1: pay me in bitcoin and that, which became true on Tuesday,
- 15:29Speaker 1: and they when he agreed to a fifty fifty split
- 15:32Speaker 1: of his thirteen million dollars salary between bitcoin and flat currency.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean and and and if again, let's
- 15:43Speaker 1: just be smart here. If he's being smart and knowing
- 15:47Speaker 1: that the numbers will increase or you know, it's gonna
- 15:52Speaker 1: get bigger. He's gonna get a nice flip um And
- 15:57Speaker 1: what five years now, I am I wrong? Or did
- 16:01Speaker 1: bitcoin like originally become like or you know, cryptocurrency in general.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Bit The thing, the reason why people say bitcoin so much,
- 16:09Speaker 1: it's really just because of the brand. Like it's a
- 16:12Speaker 1: big brand. So you know, big brand companies are usually
- 16:15Speaker 1: gonna win, they're gonna be ahead. But there are lots
- 16:18Speaker 1: of different companies that have cryptocurrency. Now. I just remember
- 16:25Speaker 1: watching something and it was what I took from it
- 16:30Speaker 1: was bitcoin or cryptocurrency was a great way of like purpacy,
- 16:35Speaker 1: purchasing illegal things, um drugs, yes, so yeah so, And
- 16:45Speaker 1: the whole point is that you're not traced. The government
- 16:47Speaker 1: cannot find what you purchased or who you purchased it from.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You know, it's kind of like just going into this
- 16:54Speaker 1: black market of buying whatever the hell you want with
- 16:58Speaker 1: no consequences. And now it just seems like it is
- 17:02Speaker 1: growing into now like people can probably start buying the
- 17:04Speaker 1: groceries with bitcoin pretty soon. Yeah. And I think, just
- 17:08Speaker 1: like the marijuana market, soon it's going to be fully
- 17:11Speaker 1: legal everywhere at once the government figures out how to monetize,
- 17:17Speaker 1: monetize and charge their taxes. Once they figure that part out,
- 17:20Speaker 1: it's probably gonna be a generic way of paying. That
- 17:25Speaker 1: is a fact, because that's what they the government gonna do,
- 17:28Speaker 1: is come get their money. They're gonna come collect, Yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 1: and then they're gonna hold on to it. In the pandemic,
- 17:34Speaker 1: when the American people needed Speaking of the American people,
- 17:40Speaker 1: our first African American female vice president took the first
- 17:45Speaker 1: dose of the COVID nineteen vaccine. Octavia and Suzanne, Well,
- 17:51Speaker 1: she didn't. She took the maderna. Well, one of two,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you're right, one of two. I'm just not I'm not
- 17:59Speaker 1: interested it. The thing is, we don't have enough knowledge
- 18:03Speaker 1: of what the long term effects are. Like, yeah, people
- 18:06Speaker 1: are saying, oh, nothing happened to me, But how do
- 18:08Speaker 1: you know something they happening inside your body? Like, how
- 18:12Speaker 1: do you know when you have kids, they won't come
- 18:13Speaker 1: out with three fucking arms or or some weird no balls,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you know, like something weird, Like we don't know what
- 18:20Speaker 1: it's doing to to us. We don't know. I'm sorry,
- 18:25Speaker 1: the national nation of kids won't come out looking like them, folks,
- 18:28Speaker 1: from damn Futurama. Oh my gosh, who I'm gonna lake
- 18:32Speaker 1: people gonna have a cartoon babies. What you're saying, they're
- 18:37Speaker 1: gonna look like something. They're not gonna look human, They're
- 18:40Speaker 1: gonna look like Trump. Well, Karma Harris says, let's do it,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and she trusted. She said when she got her vaccine,
- 18:54Speaker 1: she said that was easy. I barely felt it because
- 18:58Speaker 1: we we've all taken shots before. We know it's easy.
- 19:01Speaker 1: We just also know that black people have always been
- 19:05Speaker 1: guinea pigs. We've always been the lab rides, and the
- 19:09Speaker 1: US government has broken our trust. Well, she says she
- 19:13Speaker 1: trust the scientists. It is the scientists who created and
- 19:18Speaker 1: approved this, So she wants the American people to trust
- 19:23Speaker 1: the scientists, including Sue Solo. I don't trust Donald Trump
- 19:28Speaker 1: the next telling them to hurry up and come up
- 19:32Speaker 1: with something, hurry up and approve it. No, it don't.
- 19:36Speaker 1: It don't sound like they came up with it and
- 19:39Speaker 1: they were happy to put it out. It sounds like
- 19:40Speaker 1: they fucking had to cool. What's for you? Any time?
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna take the vaccine, y'all, Okay, we're gonna put
- 19:52Speaker 1: it on camera. Remember, it's gonna be it's gonna be
- 19:56Speaker 1: a Balller episode. I'm gonna take the vaccine on that,
- 20:00Speaker 1: all right. I will be there. I'll be there in
- 20:03Speaker 1: support to catch you when you say, okay, you're gonna
- 20:11Speaker 1: be just. I don't think anybody and my family is
- 20:13Speaker 1: gonna take it though. Yeah, no Caribbean ever, it's going
- 20:18Speaker 1: to take it. Nobody from the Caribbean is taking that ship. No,
- 20:23Speaker 1: we're gonna We're gonna have our seams are ginger. Well,
- 20:27Speaker 1: if anybody was gonna be in the household to take
- 20:29Speaker 1: it, it it would be the man of the house. So, now,
- 20:33Speaker 1: how the wife you feel about it? Like, are the
- 20:35Speaker 1: kids gonna get vaccinated? We actually haven't talked about that yet. So, um,
- 20:40Speaker 1: that's gonna be definitely a subject because I mean it's
- 20:42Speaker 1: not gonna be available for anybody like us to take
- 20:46Speaker 1: for a couple of months. So we'll have a conversation. Um,
- 20:51Speaker 1: and then she doesn't want me to take it version Yeah,
- 20:55Speaker 1: if she doesn't want me to take, me and her
- 20:57Speaker 1: I have a conversation and then you know she used
- 20:59Speaker 1: the so she's my boss. You know what. I loved
- 21:05Speaker 1: her post of you guys because y'all just celebrated the anniversary, right, Yes,
- 21:10Speaker 1: ye were celebrated. Uh, you need local the anniversary you
- 21:14Speaker 1: want have got married because but nevertheless it's a one
- 21:17Speaker 1: year anniversary. So congratulations. I love to see y'all are
- 21:21Speaker 1: great inspiration, beautiful black couple. But she said, um in
- 21:27Speaker 1: the post, it's it's it's known to be happy wife,
- 21:31Speaker 1: happy life. But I love when she said happy spouse,
- 21:35Speaker 1: happy house, and that is the way it should be.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So I I just love that big up to Mrs Rory.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I love that that post was really about you guys
- 21:46Speaker 1: being a unit, you know, and you got decisions together
- 21:49Speaker 1: and moving forward together. So when she said, you know
- 21:54Speaker 1: what you just said, I was like, you know, so
- 21:59Speaker 1: in our clubhouse room at Sue Solo on clubhouse at
- 22:03Speaker 1: Ferrari Simmons, Uh, I talked about, you know, my insecurities
- 22:08Speaker 1: like I speak about I think a lot of times
- 22:10Speaker 1: men don't talk about their insecurities because it's a manly
- 22:12Speaker 1: type of thing to be like, No, I'm I ain't
- 22:15Speaker 1: insecure about that, I ain't tripping on that. But in
- 22:18Speaker 1: the whole time, you be insecure. Um with her. I
- 22:20Speaker 1: shared my insecurities with her, and if you trust if
- 22:25Speaker 1: you trust your lady. This is if she's the one
- 22:28Speaker 1: and you trust her, you know you can share your
- 22:30Speaker 1: insecurities with her, and you know she doesn't. Right, That's
- 22:35Speaker 1: how it should be. That's how she's the same thing
- 22:37Speaker 1: with her whatever whatever, you know, there's an issue for her.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I make sure that I don't make sure I don't
- 22:43Speaker 1: leave her with an insecure situation. So I just stay,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I stay in my lane. Where a team. Um. Again,
- 22:52Speaker 1: I've never felt this way about somebody before. So yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: I didn't think I would find somebody like her, but
- 22:58Speaker 1: she found. I want to say, she's out met. So
- 23:01Speaker 1: how did you guys meet? Uh? We were friends. Just
- 23:05Speaker 1: we're just friends for a long time. Um, and the
- 23:08Speaker 1: conversation was always good. But it wasn't until I was
- 23:11Speaker 1: single that I, you know, I started hanging out with her.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Once I once I was single, I was like, damn, okay,
- 23:17Speaker 1: you got a little but bad girl. Okay. I was
- 23:20Speaker 1: extremely attracted to her because from afar, I never I
- 23:24Speaker 1: didn't I didn't know, you know, because I never crossed
- 23:27Speaker 1: that line once I was when I was in the
- 23:28Speaker 1: previous relationship. Once I was single, well started hanging out.
- 23:33Speaker 1: We started going out to eat, and then we would Um,
- 23:36Speaker 1: I never would talk on the phone like that, but
- 23:38Speaker 1: I would talk on the phone with her for hours.
- 23:41Speaker 1: So that's how I kind of the first thing. And
- 23:43Speaker 1: then I was like, okay, let me put my sister on,
- 23:45Speaker 1: let me put my mom on her. My mom met her,
- 23:47Speaker 1: and then my sisters met her, and they, you know,
- 23:52Speaker 1: they was like, oh yeah, I like her. That's for
- 23:55Speaker 1: the first time. My little sister and my mom was
- 23:59Speaker 1: on the same both said oh yeah, she she solid.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So that's why I was all right cool, because I
- 24:06Speaker 1: never did that before that either. I always was like,
- 24:08Speaker 1: all right, cool, they cool, cool whatever. Yeah, yeah, And
- 24:11Speaker 1: then we just started getting tight and tighter and tighter,
- 24:14Speaker 1: and then the conversation and we just enjoyed the same thing.
- 24:17Speaker 1: She finishes my sentences, I finished her sentences. I know
- 24:21Speaker 1: what she's thinking, she knows what I'm thinking. And again,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I've never been aligned mentally anyone before across the across
- 24:29Speaker 1: the board. That's how I knew, damn, this is this
- 24:32Speaker 1: is it right here? You know, I just felt I
- 24:35Speaker 1: just felt that immediate connection. And again I never felt
- 24:38Speaker 1: that way before. That's why when my friends be like, oh,
- 24:41Speaker 1: how do you know I said, bro, I don't know.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I just I just felt I felt butterflies in my
- 24:46Speaker 1: stomach and just on some manship, I don't I don't
- 24:48Speaker 1: want to feel butterflies in my stomach. I didn't even know.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I thought I was like about to throw up type ship,
- 24:55Speaker 1: but like it was on some I like her. Yeah
- 24:58Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So yeah, it's just um.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Over time, we were really cool friends and then um,
- 25:04Speaker 1: once I became single, then you know, and I actually
- 25:07Speaker 1: had to pursue her too, Like she wasn't even on
- 25:10Speaker 1: that when I became single. It took it took me
- 25:13Speaker 1: about four months actually just to just to get her
- 25:18Speaker 1: to like, you know, take me, like, yo, I like you,
- 25:21Speaker 1: like for real, like I really like you. Some art
- 25:24Speaker 1: I had to put in it. I had to put it.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I remember I sent her this, uh, this picture of
- 25:29Speaker 1: a car that's like this close to the wall, and
- 25:32Speaker 1: I was like, yo, like I'm disclosed, like what's up.
- 25:38Speaker 1: That's when she agreed. We went out to lunch. We
- 25:40Speaker 1: just went out to lunch one time and then we talked.
- 25:43Speaker 1: We were done eating and we talked for a long time,
- 25:45Speaker 1: and then that's how you know, I was like Okay,
- 25:48Speaker 1: let's do this again. And all of a sudden, now
- 25:50Speaker 1: we're hanging out. Now she's coming by. And then I
- 25:52Speaker 1: didn't know she can cook. Cook cook. I was like,
- 25:55Speaker 1: oh my god, you can cook cook. Yeah. I'm over here, like, yeah,
- 25:59Speaker 1: this is it right here. Yeah. Man, through the chaos
- 26:03Speaker 1: of my boy's family grew tighter. And I love to
- 26:08Speaker 1: see it. It is so inspiring. I love it. Do
- 26:10Speaker 1: you know why, y'all? One of my good movies that
- 26:13Speaker 1: I just that's gonna be in my classic movies nowadays.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I just washed it over the weekend. It's called Sylvie's Love. Uh,
- 26:20Speaker 1: and it's starring my girl, Testa Thompson. I love her
- 26:23Speaker 1: as an actress. Um, and it has uh Niambi. I'm
- 26:29Speaker 1: not even gonna mess up his last name, but that's
- 26:31Speaker 1: actually Carrie Washington's husband. Man. He actually produced the film,
- 26:36Speaker 1: played football too. While he played he played football. Um.
- 26:41Speaker 1: He's from California and um, he actually was a producer
- 26:45Speaker 1: on this film and the main one of the main
- 26:48Speaker 1: characters on the film. His name was Robert and it
- 26:51Speaker 1: was about him and the girl Sylvie. UM. Y'all should
- 26:55Speaker 1: definitely check it out if you haven't seen it. It's
- 26:58Speaker 1: so on Netflix, I've leave or again Amazon Prime, Amazon Prime.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It's called Sylvie's Love. Definitely check that out you did
- 27:09Speaker 1: or it will be a good watch for you and WiFi.
- 27:12Speaker 1: But just started it yesterday. I didn't get to finish,
- 27:15Speaker 1: so don't say too much. But I'm not gonna say
- 27:18Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say nothing else. It's such a great movie. Man.
- 27:22Speaker 1: If you love love stories, you know, like the one
- 27:25Speaker 1: we're just said, you would definitely go Sylvie's Love the
- 27:30Speaker 1: show and serious news, though, the Justice Department officially announces
- 27:34Speaker 1: that they will not charge the cops who murdered Tamar Rice.
- 27:39Speaker 1: What a way to end, What a way to fucking
- 27:43Speaker 1: slap us in the face one more time? A state
- 27:48Speaker 1: grand jury decided against and died in a low low man.
- 27:53Speaker 1: He was later fired after it was discovered he was
- 27:57Speaker 1: previously unfit for duty. The use of force experts hired
- 28:03Speaker 1: by the family said the shooting was unreasonable. For use
- 28:07Speaker 1: of force experts who were hired by the local authorities
- 28:11Speaker 1: said the shooting was reasonable. You know, uh, I mean again,
- 28:19Speaker 1: like to to to our friends who don't understand how
- 28:25Speaker 1: this feels. This is a normal day in African American household.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Uh you know, something happening to us by a law
- 28:34Speaker 1: enforcement and then a law enforcement person just getting off
- 28:37Speaker 1: like that's a normal day for us. So I think
- 28:42Speaker 1: it's no different. This is a normal day for African Americans.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I'm just letting y'all know, the year of twenty twenty
- 28:49Speaker 1: is a normal day in our life. Yeah, folks that
- 28:54Speaker 1: live in uh you know, well well off backgrounds and
- 28:57Speaker 1: stuff like that. This is how is being black. Okay,
- 29:03Speaker 1: somebody in the neighborhood dying, somebody getting shot, somebody getting
- 29:07Speaker 1: somebody hard house getting broken into, uh, police killing, somebody
- 29:11Speaker 1: doing this, police doing that. That is a normal day.
- 29:14Speaker 1: That was a normal day for me growing up. Okay,
- 29:16Speaker 1: I don't want to speak for all of it us,
- 29:18Speaker 1: but I'm gonna say that's that was a normal year
- 29:21Speaker 1: for me growing up. Is the funked up shit about
- 29:24Speaker 1: every every year for me growing up was you know,
- 29:27Speaker 1: damn you know. I hope, I hope we all make
- 29:29Speaker 1: it to the to the end of the year, but
- 29:31Speaker 1: it don't never end up like that. That's a normal
- 29:34Speaker 1: day growing up. It's it's so sad because so many
- 29:43Speaker 1: of us are extremely desensitized, you know, It's it's one
- 29:48Speaker 1: thing to hear it and to say that you're upset
- 29:51Speaker 1: about it, but that true feeling of shock or hurt
- 29:58Speaker 1: or disappointment really doesn't hit me that hard anymore. And
- 30:02Speaker 1: it's because I'm not surprised this is what I expect
- 30:08Speaker 1: from America, that this is exactly what I expect. Um,
- 30:14Speaker 1: And it's unfortunate, you know that it took the year,
- 30:17Speaker 1: you know, where everyone was forced to be in quarantine
- 30:20Speaker 1: for other races to look and see what is happening
- 30:24Speaker 1: to us. Um. It's it's hurtful, and you know, I
- 30:29Speaker 1: definitely love and appreciate the people that have really taken
- 30:34Speaker 1: a stand, you know, with us, people that have become
- 30:36Speaker 1: real allies. It's not enough to be a non black
- 30:42Speaker 1: person or a non minority and just say I've always
- 30:45Speaker 1: hated racism, I've always hated injustice. It's not enough for
- 30:49Speaker 1: you to say that. You have to participate in the
- 30:54Speaker 1: you know, fighting against it on a daily basis. When
- 30:57Speaker 1: you see something, you have to speak up. You have
- 31:01Speaker 1: to have these uncomfortable conversations with your kids about what
- 31:07Speaker 1: racism is and why it shouldn't exist. Because when you're
- 31:11Speaker 1: not teaching your kids that young you're allowing the world,
- 31:16Speaker 1: the world in society to to teach them, and we don't.
- 31:22Speaker 1: We Racism needs to die, if flat out needs to die,
- 31:25Speaker 1: privilege needs to be a thing of the past. There
- 31:30Speaker 1: has to They have to get rid of this idea
- 31:32Speaker 1: that helping another group of people reach the same level
- 31:39Speaker 1: of dignity that you have is not going to take
- 31:42Speaker 1: away from you and what you have. It's not gonna
- 31:44Speaker 1: make you less successful, it's not going to make you
- 31:49Speaker 1: less of a person. Why is it that some of
- 31:53Speaker 1: you feel that us having a level playing field diminishes
- 31:58Speaker 1: who you are? It doesn't, It doesn't at all. If
- 32:03Speaker 1: that is a fear that you have, then you are
- 32:06Speaker 1: knowingly oppressing other people. Then you know, you only got
- 32:10Speaker 1: got that promotion because they wasn't gonna promote that black woman.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You like, How how do you enjoy life that way?
- 32:18Speaker 1: It just it doesn't make sense to me, I think
- 32:21Speaker 1: to answer your question, and it's normal, that's normal to them.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I think, Uh, this this year wasn't a normal year
- 32:32Speaker 1: to a lot, to a vast majority of the public um.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But unfortunately, like if you notice, like man like, some
- 32:41Speaker 1: people be so insensitive about we're so desensitized or whatever,
- 32:46Speaker 1: if that, if I can say that word to death
- 32:48Speaker 1: and stuff people dying to a point where like for
- 32:51Speaker 1: me growing up, like I haven't been. I've been to
- 32:54Speaker 1: a lot of funerals, like for real, for real, Like
- 32:57Speaker 1: I can't even lie to you. One of my best
- 32:58Speaker 1: friends got hit by a car in front of my
- 33:01Speaker 1: face in eighth grade. Never forget that, been to his
- 33:04Speaker 1: funeral um due to cross the street selling drugs. Shot um,
- 33:08Speaker 1: been to his funeral um. One of my partners around
- 33:12Speaker 1: the corner that stayed out in front from seven drugs
- 33:15Speaker 1: got set up shots been to his funeral. This is
- 33:17Speaker 1: all in high school for me, like this is and
- 33:21Speaker 1: this is never this, It's like never anything. So like
- 33:25Speaker 1: sometimes when people and then you know, I saw King
- 33:29Speaker 1: Van pass away. I was outside getting my money outside
- 33:32Speaker 1: the club and then all of a sudden, I turned
- 33:34Speaker 1: to the right and I see people fighting. Then I
- 33:37Speaker 1: just see boom boom boom boom came Von falls to
- 33:39Speaker 1: the ground. That ship sucked me up. I ain't gonna
- 33:42Speaker 1: lie to you all. And I didn't know it was
- 33:43Speaker 1: King Von until like the next day because they you know,
- 33:47Speaker 1: the rumors were like, oh King V he had that
- 33:49Speaker 1: shot in front of Opium that was a club nightclub
- 33:53Speaker 1: here in Atlanta, But it was happening to be right
- 33:55Speaker 1: in front of the club I was leaving, and it
- 33:57Speaker 1: really it bothered me for a while. But at the
- 34:00Speaker 1: same time, it wasn't the first time I've seen something
- 34:02Speaker 1: like that happened, so I actually got over it rather quickly.
- 34:07Speaker 1: But if it was somebody else who saw that for
- 34:10Speaker 1: the first time, they probably be funked up about it
- 34:12Speaker 1: for a long time. But my thing is, have have
- 34:16Speaker 1: me seeing that before, like legit and dealing with that
- 34:20Speaker 1: trauma at a young age, it kind of is just
- 34:24Speaker 1: like normal. That's one thing that really pisces me off
- 34:30Speaker 1: about all this is, for some reason, people don't think
- 34:35Speaker 1: that black people deal with trauma like they just think
- 34:38Speaker 1: that we are these wild animals. Keep in mind, we
- 34:42Speaker 1: are superhuman, Okay, with everything that black people have had
- 34:46Speaker 1: penned against them, we are superhuman, that is a fact.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But we still have trauma. We have things that we
- 34:54Speaker 1: need to deal with, that we need to heal from.
- 34:56Speaker 1: And it's so unfortunate that, you know, little Billy Bobe
- 35:03Speaker 1: can go through something and oh my god, we're We've
- 35:06Speaker 1: got to get him to help. This is so traumatizing. Oh,
- 35:08Speaker 1: my son, my son. But little black boys and little
- 35:12Speaker 1: black girls are constantly at the hands of some type
- 35:18Speaker 1: of traumatic experience, and no one ever thinks twice about it.
- 35:23Speaker 1: There's no apology, there's no counseling offered, there's nothing, there's nothing.
- 35:28Speaker 1: It's just like, okay, whatever it happens, but let but
- 35:32Speaker 1: let the roles the roles be reversed. It's a completely
- 35:35Speaker 1: different reaction. I'm telling you. It's a real life grant up.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Although while here in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, New York,
- 35:45Speaker 1: you ain't even allowed to have guns in New York,
- 35:47Speaker 1: and it's still going violence in New York, Like it's
- 35:50Speaker 1: a minimum two year sentence in New York, especially California,
- 35:54Speaker 1: of course, And of course I'm leaving out other hoods.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like, in your big metropolitans city, it's
- 36:00Speaker 1: the damn Neil war zone and I shouldn't be getting
- 36:03Speaker 1: swept under the rug on the low. Especially Chicago, Man,
- 36:06Speaker 1: they love it. They love to see us in this
- 36:09Speaker 1: type of chaos. They love to see us harming each
- 36:12Speaker 1: other because they know if they help us, if they
- 36:15Speaker 1: give us any type of help and we rise above.
- 36:19Speaker 1: They already know what we're capable of. Don't get me
- 36:21Speaker 1: started that we'll talk. That's a whole episode. But I
- 36:25Speaker 1: do agree with you, uh Sue Uh. White silence equals
- 36:29Speaker 1: violence and ferrari for the world has been what it
- 36:35Speaker 1: is for black people every day, and that is survival.
- 36:38Speaker 1: So I definitely agree with Thank you. M. Slavery taught
- 36:42Speaker 1: us how to survive, not to live. We are not
- 36:47Speaker 1: truly living. We are in survival mode and we have
- 36:50Speaker 1: been since the first European step foot on Africa and
- 36:54Speaker 1: looted the entire continent. And before we go to the
- 36:57Speaker 1: next thing, I just think that that's what our parents
- 36:59Speaker 1: taught us to how to survive. I think in a
- 37:01Speaker 1: different in different households, they don't teach them that. They
- 37:04Speaker 1: teach them how to thrive. They teach them about their credit,
- 37:08Speaker 1: They teach them how to you know, save money. They
- 37:11Speaker 1: teach them how to earn money. My parents didn't teach
- 37:15Speaker 1: me or none of that. They taught me a bro,
- 37:17Speaker 1: make sure you get you a job, get some health benefits. Motherfucker.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You see them police officers, God damn you feel me.
- 37:23Speaker 1: You don't funk with them? You know what I'm saying.
- 37:26Speaker 1: They pull you over, keep your hands on the stair wheels.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Matter of fact, on your way home, take your hat off,
- 37:32Speaker 1: don't be don't if you have a hoodie on, take
- 37:34Speaker 1: your hoodie off. This is the thing. These are things
- 37:37Speaker 1: that's embedded in my head for my parents and my grandma.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, When you see a police officer, don't,
- 37:44Speaker 1: don't look them like, don't give them a reason to
- 37:48Speaker 1: think that you're a criminal. That's things that were taught.
- 37:54Speaker 1: They're not taught that. They're taught about credit and um,
- 37:59Speaker 1: you know, building foundational generational wealth. We just started doing
- 38:04Speaker 1: that with our with our kids. But I would say
- 38:07Speaker 1: for us, and I don't want to talk about this
- 38:08Speaker 1: too long because that's a whole another conversation, but we're
- 38:12Speaker 1: the We're the generation that's doing that for the youth now.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Like I have conversations with my kids that my parents
- 38:19Speaker 1: never had with me at their age. I'm talking to
- 38:21Speaker 1: my twelve year old about what you want to be
- 38:23Speaker 1: when she grow up. I've never had that conversation with
- 38:26Speaker 1: my parents. They know, my parents aren't even graduating from
- 38:29Speaker 1: high school. Dog all they did, all they knew was
- 38:33Speaker 1: get a job and get some health benefits. None of
- 38:36Speaker 1: my parents graduated. My dad had associated arts degree, my
- 38:40Speaker 1: mom got her g D. My grandma never finished school.
- 38:44Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. My sisters went to college,
- 38:45Speaker 1: dropped out. You know what I'm saying. I was the
- 38:47Speaker 1: first person to get it. But I'm talking to my
- 38:51Speaker 1: kid and I'm actually the first person in my household
- 38:54Speaker 1: or in my family that followed their dreams. Everybody else
- 38:57Speaker 1: have a job. You know what I'm saying that likewise,
- 39:02Speaker 1: my kids wanting to follow my dreams. That's what I'm saying.
- 39:05Speaker 1: So my conversation with my kids is different. I'm talking
- 39:07Speaker 1: to them about my daughter is twelve, but she can draw.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I'll be over here like baby, you know, you can
- 39:13Speaker 1: make like five hundred dollars each saw that she was
- 39:16Speaker 1: over here like what I was like, Yeah, And I'm
- 39:19Speaker 1: just opening their minds about what do you want to
- 39:22Speaker 1: be when you grow up? You could be anything you want.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I never was told that. And I'm not saying my
- 39:27Speaker 1: parents did a bad job. I'm just saying they just
- 39:29Speaker 1: taught me how to survive. They ain't teach me how
- 39:32Speaker 1: to live my dreams. That ain't that. Ain't how I
- 39:34Speaker 1: was ready because there wasn't no black president until after
- 39:38Speaker 1: I was a growing as man. But my kids seeing
- 39:41Speaker 1: a black president, so they now see that, Oh, I
- 39:44Speaker 1: could do that if I want to. But when we
- 39:46Speaker 1: was growing up, ain't these babies early nine, these babies,
- 39:50Speaker 1: we ain't see no black motherfucker black president. We thought
- 39:55Speaker 1: vice president. We thought that ship was impossible. Well, I
- 39:59Speaker 1: know what I'm for. The ship seemed like it was
- 40:01Speaker 1: gonna it was never gonna happen. But my bad job,
- 40:05Speaker 1: I don't went on another tangent. Go ahead, It's fine, man.
- 40:08Speaker 1: We have to pray for the well being of our children,
- 40:12Speaker 1: and you know it was well. Let's praying for each
- 40:16Speaker 1: other and praying for world people worldwide, including Ethiopia. Do
- 40:22Speaker 1: you have an update for us, Sue? Unfortunately, you guys,
- 40:26Speaker 1: the war and the tip Ry region of Ethiopia is
- 40:29Speaker 1: getting worse. UM. I do want to acknowledge before I
- 40:33Speaker 1: move any further that, Um it is really unfortunately not
- 40:39Speaker 1: even only happening in the tip Rife region. UM. I
- 40:44Speaker 1: have to acknowledge what is happening to the people of Rama,
- 40:48Speaker 1: the Romans day. The Romans have been at the hands
- 40:55Speaker 1: of violence for a very long time, a very long time,
- 41:00Speaker 1: and they are again dealing with what is happening in
- 41:05Speaker 1: Ethiopia now. If you guys do not know what's going on,
- 41:09Speaker 1: please look at hashtag pray for Ethiopia, hashtag stop war
- 41:14Speaker 1: on Tigrai. It is a genocide. Ethiopia is officially on
- 41:18Speaker 1: the genocide list. The Prime Minister i'd Be is not
- 41:22Speaker 1: allowing for any media coverage into the Tigwai region. There
- 41:26Speaker 1: is no medical supplies, no food, no water, no power.
- 41:32Speaker 1: There are well over sixty thou refugees that have migrated
- 41:36Speaker 1: from Ethiopia to Sudan. Sudan is now facing a famine.
- 41:42Speaker 1: So yes, the people are Tigray are surrounded by devastation.
- 41:49Speaker 1: There's there's nowhere to go. No matter which direction you
- 41:53Speaker 1: go in. You can't go north to Eritrea because Airitrean
- 41:57Speaker 1: soldiers are actually killing people on site on the border.
- 42:00Speaker 1: You cannot cross um air train soldiers are actually they're
- 42:05Speaker 1: actually in the region of ti Ride as well. People
- 42:09Speaker 1: are being massacred, churches have are being bombed, Pregnant women
- 42:14Speaker 1: are being cut open. It's it is Rwanda, it is
- 42:20Speaker 1: it is, it is bad Um, it has now been
- 42:25Speaker 1: over sixty days since I've spoken to my mother. I
- 42:28Speaker 1: have absolutely no idea where she is. I don't know
- 42:31Speaker 1: where the rest of my family is either. I don't
- 42:33Speaker 1: know if she has migrated. I don't know if she's
- 42:38Speaker 1: hiding in the mountains. So I literally have no idea
- 42:41Speaker 1: where she is. She they as as people of the
- 42:46Speaker 1: tail Life Region. They are not allowed to access their
- 42:48Speaker 1: bank accounts, so she can't even get her own money
- 42:52Speaker 1: to help her in any situation. Most people are being
- 42:56Speaker 1: denied their medication. UM. Doctors have fled the high hospitals
- 43:00Speaker 1: in the regions. There's nothing there, so, UM, we need support,
- 43:06Speaker 1: you know. And it's just it's it's gonna be the
- 43:08Speaker 1: same thing that I say every week until things start
- 43:12Speaker 1: to get better. Um. There has been some form of communication,
- 43:17Speaker 1: Some communication has been restored in MCLF, but that is
- 43:22Speaker 1: one area, you know that that's there are thous hundreds
- 43:26Speaker 1: of thousands of families that are lost. There are seniors
- 43:30Speaker 1: who were separated from their families, don't know where their
- 43:33Speaker 1: kids are. Um, they're fending for themselves. There are people
- 43:36Speaker 1: who refuse to leave certain areas because they think that
- 43:42Speaker 1: their families will come and meet them there. They're just
- 43:44Speaker 1: hopeful that a sibling or or any relative will show up.
- 43:48Speaker 1: So people are Some people are standing their ground in
- 43:51Speaker 1: pure deserts, you know, starvation, nothing, waiting for a family
- 43:57Speaker 1: to arrive, and it's just it's not happening. So we
- 44:01Speaker 1: need to continue the Black Lives Matter movement because if
- 44:05Speaker 1: black lives matter, then they matter everywhere in the world.
- 44:08Speaker 1: And unfortunately Prime Minister i'd be is acting as a
- 44:15Speaker 1: dictator and we have to get him out and we
- 44:18Speaker 1: have to make sure that he's held accountable for the
- 44:20Speaker 1: war crimes that he has committed. So we're gonna continue
- 44:23Speaker 1: to pray for Ethiopia. I will continue to have faith
- 44:26Speaker 1: that my mom will call me at some point, and
- 44:29Speaker 1: I believe that she will be okay. So as soon
- 44:33Speaker 1: as I hear that, y'all know, I'm gonna be shouting
- 44:35Speaker 1: at from the rooftop. So please continue to pray and
- 44:40Speaker 1: fight and if I just find out what you can do,
- 44:43Speaker 1: I know it seems difficult, it seems very helpless, but
- 44:45Speaker 1: sometimes just using your platform to talk about it helps
- 44:49Speaker 1: to bring awareness to people that would have never known
- 44:51Speaker 1: about it. Sometimes that's all we need. So pray for
- 44:54Speaker 1: all of Ethiopia. All of Ethiopia needs peace. But please
- 44:57Speaker 1: pray for the people of the a more regions and
- 45:01Speaker 1: the people take that. We'll be right back with more
- 45:04Speaker 1: of the alert show message. All right now, it's time
- 45:11Speaker 1: for baller mail. Dear Ari, I'm twenty and my love
- 45:17Speaker 1: interest is seven. He's mad at me at the moment
- 45:21Speaker 1: because I haven't had sex with him. We have been
- 45:24Speaker 1: talking for two months. My thing is he hasn't proven
- 45:27Speaker 1: himself worthy to have sex with. I do really like him,
- 45:30Speaker 1: and I'm extremely attracted and I am I and I
- 45:33Speaker 1: am extremely attracted to him. Should I let him hit that?
- 45:38Speaker 1: Or should I let him or should I keep making
- 45:40Speaker 1: him wait? Because again he doesn't He don't do anything
- 45:44Speaker 1: to prove himself otherwise. Please help baby. This is the
- 45:48Speaker 1: easy it's baller mail I've ever received. That is yr box,
- 45:52Speaker 1: that is Yova Gina. And if do nobody worked for
- 45:55Speaker 1: the way you see fit keep them legs closed because
- 45:59Speaker 1: it seems like once you let his ass hit that,
- 46:03Speaker 1: he's gonna go ahead and slide up out of that.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know. This is what y'all had.
- 46:09Speaker 1: This me, me and Suo Solo was talking about this
- 46:12Speaker 1: last night on Clubhouse follow Us the Clubhouse underscore is
- 46:15Speaker 1: Underscore too, solo on Clubhouse Underscore to Solo at Ferrari Simmons. Listen, ladies,
- 46:21Speaker 1: you guys have the power to choose who you have
- 46:25Speaker 1: sex with. If you do not want him to have
- 46:29Speaker 1: if you do not want to have sex with him,
- 46:31Speaker 1: if he doesn't prove anything to you, do not sleep
- 46:35Speaker 1: with him, because all you're gonna do is you're gonna
- 46:37Speaker 1: be right back in my d M talking about I
- 46:40Speaker 1: let him hit it and he left. Now what should
- 46:44Speaker 1: I do now? I'm telling your ass now, and I
- 46:47Speaker 1: hope by the time you watch this episode you ain't
- 46:51Speaker 1: let him hit that box. You need to work for it.
- 46:53Speaker 1: You need to pull himself worthy. Okay, I m mrs
- 46:58Speaker 1: RORI made me wait long if I got a little
- 47:02Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, A little yummy out, okay,
- 47:07Speaker 1: a very long time. And uh I sat there and
- 47:11Speaker 1: waited because I really liked her, and I proved myself. Now,
- 47:15Speaker 1: if you don't want him to prove himselves, and you
- 47:17Speaker 1: want to go ahead and let him slide up in there,
- 47:19Speaker 1: that's cool. That is your vagina. You're a grown person.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It's okay. Just understand after you let him do that,
- 47:26Speaker 1: the expectations, uh, because he didn't prove himself to you,
- 47:30Speaker 1: so you shouldn't have any expectations. Why should you have
- 47:33Speaker 1: expectations by with sharing your body with someone that didn't
- 47:37Speaker 1: prove themselves to you. I understand that sex is not
- 47:41Speaker 1: going to keep someone okay just because he wants the
- 47:44Speaker 1: sex and he's making you feel bad for making him way.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Don't feel bad about that, girl, don't feel bad about it.
- 47:50Speaker 1: That is you and your body and you give it
- 47:53Speaker 1: to who you want to give it to when you
- 47:54Speaker 1: feel like they made you feel like you want to
- 47:57Speaker 1: give it to him. And he did that, so he
- 48:00Speaker 1: to yourself because he ain't gonna do nothing. But he
- 48:02Speaker 1: didn't quit it, like Rory said, and he probably smashing
- 48:05Speaker 1: somebody else until you're ready. Keep keep in mind, like guys,
- 48:10Speaker 1: we sleep with who we can. Y'all sleep with who
- 48:14Speaker 1: y'all choose to m So I'm just understand that we
- 48:20Speaker 1: ain't open the noleg that then we are inserting. You
- 48:24Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. She You guys are receiving, but
- 48:27Speaker 1: you have to open sessing me for two for for
- 48:31Speaker 1: a guy to insert, So if you don't want anyone
- 48:33Speaker 1: to insert, if you just and if you ain't, again
- 48:38Speaker 1: you said it to yourself. He didn't prove a damn thing.
- 48:42Speaker 1: So now y'all, just physically you'll just have a physical
- 48:44Speaker 1: attraction and if that's what you wanted to be a transaction, cool,
- 48:49Speaker 1: Just don't have any expectations after the transaction is complete.
- 48:53Speaker 1: All right? Uh? Do you have any parting words or
- 48:56Speaker 1: for the people um on this last episodes? Yeah, I
- 49:02Speaker 1: wanted to get a little deep, y'all, I ain't gonna
- 49:04Speaker 1: cat um. I wanted to talk about anxiety before we
- 49:09Speaker 1: get up out of here. I think a lot of
- 49:10Speaker 1: people have issues with that. I do. Um, Sometimes our
- 49:14Speaker 1: anxiety gets the best of us, and we do things
- 49:16Speaker 1: and we react in a way that, uh, sometimes we
- 49:20Speaker 1: shouldn't have, like will snap on close friends and relatives
- 49:23Speaker 1: and um, people we care about, even co workers at work,
- 49:27Speaker 1: because we have anxiety issues with things that happened outside
- 49:31Speaker 1: of our normal space. And I think that, uh, I
- 49:36Speaker 1: would encourage each person to kind of, you know, explore
- 49:41Speaker 1: options of speaking to somebody, because I think when people
- 49:44Speaker 1: think that you have a therapist, that you're crazy, You're
- 49:46Speaker 1: not crazy. It's just someone that's a professional to help
- 49:50Speaker 1: you channel and set boundaries within yourself so you don't
- 49:54Speaker 1: slap ship at your co worker, or so you don't
- 49:57Speaker 1: shoot the whole club up or show you so you
- 49:59Speaker 1: don't beat your best friend up for doing some dumb ship.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I mean, I just you know what I'm saying. Or
- 50:04Speaker 1: you don't snap on people that you care about and
- 50:07Speaker 1: you hurt people feelings. You know what I'm saying, Because
- 50:09Speaker 1: at the end of the day, we're all emotional, and
- 50:13Speaker 1: you see when people just snap and go crazy and
- 50:15Speaker 1: just curse everybody out, and that's anxiety issues man anger
- 50:19Speaker 1: anger management is real. Anxiety is real. I think people
- 50:23Speaker 1: who should really tap into setting boundaries within themselves and
- 50:27Speaker 1: channeling that inner peace and be a lot more peaceful
- 50:30Speaker 1: in the way that you handle conflict. I think a
- 50:33Speaker 1: lot of times we see it on these reality TV shows,
- 50:38Speaker 1: they'd be just getting crazy and lick. But I guess
- 50:41Speaker 1: that's that definitely draws ratings. But at the same time,
- 50:44Speaker 1: necessarily see five years down the line that that person
- 50:47Speaker 1: has now grown from that situation and they say I
- 50:50Speaker 1: shouldn't have did that, and they're speaking to a therapist.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I'm just letting y'all know it's okay to have anxiety,
- 50:57Speaker 1: but it's also okay to go speak somebody about that.

- 52:13Speaker 1: gonna thrive. And um, I think we learned a lot
- 52:16Speaker 1: about ourselves and our contemporaries that we work with, just
- 52:21Speaker 1: other people to our associates, like you know, a lot
- 52:24Speaker 1: of people were content with the situations that happened that
- 52:27Speaker 1: put them in. People was just laid back and just
- 52:30Speaker 1: receiving that unemployment and a lot of people took them
- 52:33Speaker 1: p p P loans and the high risk wool come
