Speaker A: Go out to la. La.
• 0:02
Speaker B: Coming from the city with no pity. Somebody needs to do a song for la, Straight up.
• 0:13
Speaker A: Hello, my name is Elaine, and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles.
• 0:18
Speaker B: Look, count my nose. Smoke up. I'm from California. Where you from? So what? I'm from California. California. This is Los Angeles. Well, where we going?
• 0:31
  Speaker A: West.
• 0:31
Speaker B: Word. So we didn't learn. We didn't learn from last time. We didn't. So we didn't learn. Comprehension.
• 0:45
  Speaker A: Comprehension. Compre.
• 0:46
Speaker B: We didn't learn. Hey, we didn't learn. We didn't learn. But to all y'all beautiful people out there, I want to wish you and the people that you be around. Not all of them, but some of them are very special. Thanksgiving, happy Holidays, and all that other stuff. We have a show lined up for you. Bringing one of my gangsters. One of my killers is coming. We're about to talk about something when she answers. Cause we gonna get to it. She knows I'm calling.
• 1:29
  Speaker A: What up, though?
• 1:30
  Speaker B: Hi.
• 1:32
  Speaker A: Hello.
• 1:33
Speaker B: How are we doing?
• 1:35
Speaker A: We doing great. How are you doing?
• 1:38
Speaker B: I am doing phenomenal. I am also doing phenomenal.
• 1:45
  Speaker A: Love it.
• 1:46
Speaker B: Yeah. Like, I'm doing so phenomenal that when I'm not doing phenomenal, I still feel phenomenal.
• 1:54
Speaker A: Well, that's just phenomenal.
• 1:56
Speaker B: Exactly. And we're here today because. Should we. I mean, should we spoil it for him? Just tell them when we recorded this, because we know when it's dropping. It's dropping on Thanksgiving Day, literally.
• 2:09
  Speaker A: Turkey day.
• 2:11
Speaker B: Turkey day, yeah. Is it still Turkey day, though?
• 2:15
Speaker A: Not really. It should be Mac and cheese day. For real.
• 2:17
Speaker B: Thank you. Cause I hear more people disrespecting turkey, and I actually like turkey. It's just that it gets played out faster than anything else. I like it.
• 2:28
Speaker A: It's definitely not the majority of what's on my plate.
• 2:31
Speaker B: No, not at all. What is the. What is the one dish that's plopped just takes up half of the damn plate?
• 2:42
Speaker A: Well, for me, it's tied between two. There's an equal amount of both of these things, and that's Mac and cheese and greens.
• 2:50
Speaker B: Okay. So, okay, I am. I am probably 50. 50 with the Mac and cheese and dressing and then. And probably like 30% to the 50%. Like 30% yams.
• 3:11
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. You gotta load it up with the yams.
• 3:13
Speaker B: Next in line, they gotta touch each other. I can, you know, greens as well. All that in there. I like. I like. I like my greens touching my dressing, and I like my Mac and cheese touching my yams. I Mean, and all of them keep getting in the same bed together. I don't care.
• 3:28
Speaker A: Yeah, pretty much. I mean, it's all going in the same place.
• 3:32
Speaker B: Yes. And those are four important dishes at the table for this particular holiday. But there is also dessert that's on that table and that typically looks like a pie or a cake or. Yeah, a cobbler. Yeah.
• 3:57
Speaker A: I don't think I've ever had cake at this time. I don't think I've ever had cake.
• 4:02
Speaker B: Yeah, we've had. The one cake that to me is popular is the bundt cake is either the bunk hate or the, like a socket. To me, a Louisiana. A Louisiana crunch cake is like a. That's like a fan favorite right there. I don't really see it that often. I don't really see that in the store that often. That much. But whoever is out there with the auntie slash grandma arm, if y'all have a Louisiana crunch cake recipe, please send that my way, because I would definitely. I know it has a lot of butter. It's a lot of butter involved. And sugar. Yeah. But there's also a different type of dessert at this table. Or tea at this table. Yeah, tea. Oh, oh, no, no, no, no. You think I'm talking about the fluid. No, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about. I'm talking about the family tea. I'm talking about the drama.
• 5:16
Speaker A: Oh, okay. Yeah, the drama tea.
• 5:20
Speaker B: Yeah. You gotta stay with me. I know. Now passion tea could be.
• 5:24
Speaker A: Oh, passion tea is fire.
• 5:26
Speaker B: Yeah. You could definitely bring back shit. Niggas is. I've seen niggas eat slices of pizza on Thanksgiving. Now, Thanksgiving is not. Is not what it used to be in the 80s and the 90s for sure.
• 5:40
  Speaker A: It's really not.
• 5:41
Speaker B: No, they substitute like. I mean, I. You know, even myself, I've had one. One Thanksgiving, I cook some Cornish hens instead of making a turkey.
• 5:51
Speaker A: Yeah. My mom talks about doing hen or something else besides turkey, which I don't care because literally I get maybe a piece.
• 6:01
Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, because everything else is. I mean, now they. They've gotten so sick of turkeys that they frying them. And, you know, you getting buffalo style turkeys and lemon pepper. The lemon pepper one threw me off, but okay. I'm not mad at it. It's just, you know, like when you. You know, when you getting so sick of some shit, you just gotta do something to it.
• 6:30
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 6:31
Speaker B: Yeah. Because the next day anyway, it's gonna be in between two slices of bread.
• 6:36
Speaker A: Exactly. You know what? And I prefer to have. Anyway. Like, I could save the turkey or whatever. The hen, the turkey for the next day and do the sandwiches. I don't need that on my plate on Thanksgiving. I'm cool.
• 6:51
Speaker B: Yeah. Now, before we get to the. Yeah. The tea, the subject and stuff like that, how do you feel about the. The cranberry sauce? Do you. And have you ever. Have you ever had. Have you ever had homemade?
• 7:07
Speaker A: Yes, I have. My mom does homemade because she does not like the can.
• 7:10
Speaker B: Okay. Shout out. So how do you feel about the ocean spray?
• 7:13
  Speaker A: I don't care either way.
• 7:15
  Speaker B: You like it?
• 7:16
Speaker A: I do. Me too, because I put that. My mom makes homemade rolls, too, and I spread that shit on the rolls, and that shit is delicious.
• 7:25
  Speaker B: You fat back. I didn't.
• 7:26
  Speaker A: I am. I am.
• 7:28
Speaker B: I did not see that coming, because I'm definitely gonna steal that technique. I've never. I've always mixed it with the. With the dressing.
• 7:36
Speaker A: Slap that thing up on a biscuit, a roll. That shit is so good.
• 7:40
Speaker B: Things out here, crazy. I'm gonna try it. I bet you're gonna try it. But what we're here for, and I'm gonna be honest with you, Brit. Well, let's be honest with the. With the audience. Today is K DOT day. Again, K dot, not necessarily Thanksgiving day, but just say is less than a week. Is it less than a week? Yeah, it's less than a week. Less than a week away from Thanksgiving. So y'all got the timestamp, but still. Happy Thanksgiving. We're here to talk about the drama at the table when it comes to the holidays. And people feud on all holidays, not just Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving holds the title because that is. I mean, family can come together on Juneteenth. They can come together on the 4th of July. Some. You know, a lot of families come together on Christmas, but Thanksgiving is solely. Solely made for family. Solely made for family.
• 9:01
Speaker A: Right. And we talked about this before on another episode where, like, this is the holiday run. You got, like, back to back family, family things.
• 9:10
Speaker B: Yep, yep, yep. So it's the season, because Thanksgiving runs into Christmas and Christmas runs into the new year. And those three alone. And not saying that the new year is an actual holiday, but it is a pivotal. At least the New Year Eve. Like, it's a pivotal day or night because you want to be around a loved one, whether it's, you know, a friend or a family member or the whole entire family. So it's just as important as the other two. Except the other two, they all have their different meanings and styles. You know, Christmas it brings a different type of feeling. Still a lot of love. But there's presents to be issued out. Is which.
• 10:01
Speaker A: Which my family's not. I mean, with the exception of my kid, that doesn't count. But my family's actually not doing presents this year.
• 10:08
  Speaker B: Really?
• 10:09
Speaker A: This is the first year where we're not. My kids go and get all the presents in the world, but everybody else ain't getting shit.
• 10:17
Speaker B: I and the arts are similar. I think the kids are still gonna get presents. And, you know, me and Marcy might do something, but the Christmas present they got me. This is what I'm trying to say. Them niggas got me because we just so happened to be going on a family trip for my birthday. Yeah, I seen what you niggas did. I seen what you niggas did. But whatever, still gonna enjoy it. That's the president itself. But then when you talk about Thanksgiving, you have a table, you have food, and then you have friends and family around the table. And sometimes, or even most times, you just have family members that come out from different states, maybe even a different country or two different cities, some that stay more than an hour or two away. You don't get to see this cousin all the time. You don't get to see this aunt all the time. And you're under one household, and it's usually Big Mama House, and there's liquor that's going to be involved, whether it's actually served at the event or somebody sneaking it. Because you always gonna have the two cousins that go off into the backyard or around a block or to somebody's car, blaze up a joint and then walk back in acting like nothing happened. But we smell it and we can't smell it. And you look like you just finished crying, right?
• 11:47
Speaker A: So we laughing, giggling and shit.
• 11:50
Speaker B: A lot of y'all grannies wasn't. It wasn't that naive. They knew, okay? Some of them didn't, but some knew, okay? But as long as y'all all back. Jamal and DeAndre came back from getting high in a car, it's all gravy. But these, this is what we're gonna be talking about. It's a couple of movies with a sprinkle of a show or two. And I'm be honest with you, Brit. Because of my lack of preparation, I didn't get to go through that whole list that was created. But the ones that I recommended, those are the only ones that really matter to me.
• 12:35
Speaker A: Okay? I mean, I didn't. I mean, I know what's on the list. I didn't, like, take notes. I didn't prep like that. But we're organic anyway. Yeah, we make this. We make it work.
• 12:46
Speaker B: That's what it's about. So I will say. I would say this. Let's just. We can. We can just go through the list and. Because I can tell you right now, the first time I seen Kingdom Come was the last time I seen Kingdom Come. So I'm gonna tell you right out the gate. I'm not even sure what scene you talking about. I just remember it was one scene where a chick ran to the bathroom and she didn't want to come out or something like that. Um, but we could go ahead and go down this list, and then I'm going to pick. I'm going to pick my top two.
• 13:22
Speaker A: Okay. I didn't know we was picking.
• 13:24
Speaker B: Well, no, you know what? To make it even more of a thing, we just going to pick our best one.
• 13:31
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 13:33
Speaker B: Because I already know which. Oh, man. Let's get to it. Let's get to this list. So this list, like I said, there's a list of movies, list of TV shows that we talk about where there was a lot of drama around this particular table.
• 13:49
  Speaker A: This table.
• 13:49
Speaker B: Yeah. Now, again, we are talking. This is Thanksgiving, so shout out. But some of these scenes aren't about holidays. Yeah, about the holidays.
• 14:04
Speaker A: But you got family.
• 14:05
Speaker B: But you got. You still. Yeah, it's still. The idea came about up. Just the table scene. Now, they did come from a scene that I liked a lot, but we're just. It just so happened that we're dropping it on Thanksgiving and it's related to Thanksgiving, but this is just a table scene in general that dealt with a lot of drama. So where do you want to start at?
• 14:31
Speaker A: You said the top of the list. To start at the top of the list.
• 14:33
Speaker B: Okay, we going to start with the top of the list. Let me get to the top of the list. And that is. Why did I get married?
• 14:43
Speaker A: Ooh wee. That table was spicy than a month.
• 14:47
Speaker B: Spicy as a. God damn it. Okay. Because when you want to talk about a n. That chose violence, man.
• 14:59
Speaker A: Who chose the violence first, though? Because that shit.
• 15:02
Speaker B: But Mike always chose the violence through the whole movie.
• 15:05
  Speaker A: Oh, he did.
• 15:06
Speaker B: I think he was always waiting.
• 15:08
Speaker A: He did. Punk ass mother.
• 15:10
Speaker B: You don't. You don't bring. He brought his. Not even the dumb. He brought his side chick to the vacation. Made his wife drive through a goddamn storm.
• 15:29
Speaker A: But before even driving through the storm, you. You wasn't even gonna sit next to your wife on the Plane.
• 15:36
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, he dissed her. Yeah, he dissed her and then made.
• 15:41
Speaker A: Her drive in a snowstorm.
• 15:43
Speaker B: Yeah, you. Because technically, what are you supposed to do in that situation? You supposed to be in that goddamn car.
• 15:49
  Speaker A: You drive.
• 15:50
Speaker B: Yeah, you supposed to be driving. Since she. Since she can't go on an airplane and they have to go by on the ground, you gotta be the driver or goddamn bus, taxi, whatever the case may be. But it don't matter what form of transportation that you gotta take. You gotta be with her. But he wasn't. And he had brought his. What he thought. I mean, what was it, the 80? 20?
• 16:22
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 16:23
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 16:24
  Speaker A: So his 20.
• 16:25
Speaker B: He brought. He brought his 20 to the vacation and a couple's. A couple vacation, by the way. A couple's vacation. Where was it? What? It wasn't Big Bear, was it? Because it wasn't. It wasn't out here.
• 16:39
Speaker A: I don't think it was. No, I don't think it was bigger. It was a cabin somewhere in the mountains.
• 16:42
Speaker B: Yeah, but it's big. It's Big Bear adjacent. They was in a cabinet. It was snow. It was beautiful.
• 16:49
Speaker A: They was in a what?
• 16:51
Speaker B: They was in what?
• 16:52
Speaker A: Did you say cabinet?
• 16:53
Speaker B: No, I said. I didn't say cabinet. It may have sounded like.
• 16:58
Speaker A: It sounded like you said cabinet.
• 16:59
Speaker B: Cabin. Cabin. Let me pronounce my words all the way. Cabin. They were in a cabin. But it was beautiful out there. Real snow. Real snow. Not.
• 17:12
  Speaker A: I guess.
• 17:13
Speaker B: I mean, coming from where I come from, I don't get snow all the time. And even the areas that we do go to, like Big Bear, there's certain parts of the year where they're supposed to get snow and it doesn't snow as much. And so they have artificial snow. So I'm just like. If they weren't out here and they was in the actual area where they do get snow, I'm jealous. Cause I've always wanted to, you know, play in some goddamn snow. Some real snow at that, but. And I just like the way snow looks too cold, though, because we was in some snow and it was like 19 degrees. I said, what the. What is some 19 degrees? That. That has to be. Yeah, 19 degrees. I've been in 19 degrees and 21 degrees. And I'm. Look, all the Midwest and East coast people.
• 18:02
  Speaker A: That's it.
• 18:03
Speaker B: Yeah, stupid. Because I don't be in cold like that. Why would I. Why would I want to be in something colder than that? Chicago. No, but. Yeah. So they was at this table, and everybody has their secrets. And I think the one thing that this movie did was highlight marriage like issues, brought a light to people's marriages and what they go through. And basically showing you the private side of their marriages, the secrets, the dirty secrets, et cetera.
• 18:44
Speaker A: Some big secrets, some small, some.
• 18:48
Speaker B: I think some of the small secrets was big.
• 18:50
  Speaker A: Well.
• 18:54
Speaker B: Like the transmitted disease.
• 18:57
Speaker A: Well, yeah. But before we get to the big, big, I think for. Well, yeah, so, like, Tyler Perry's character and his wife, she was a workaholic and whatever. And then, like, his secret was he tested their kid because he didn't think it was his because she was working all the time.
• 19:17
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 19:18
Speaker A: So that's what they had.
• 19:20
Speaker B: Not. But that wasn't it, though.
• 19:23
Speaker A: What else do they have?
• 19:24
Speaker B: She had the office fling.
• 19:26
Speaker A: She didn't have no office fling.
• 19:28
Speaker B: She didn't do anything. But she said verbatim, Yo, 60. It's been 63 days of you changing your wardrobe, your makeup. Is his name Philip? Like, he put her on blast.
• 19:44
Speaker A: I gotta go back and watch that.
• 19:45
Speaker B: I don't. It was after. Right after the table scene when they was in bed.
• 19:53
Speaker A: Mm. I gotta go back and watch that.
• 19:56
Speaker B: Oh, it was easy.
• 19:56
Speaker A: But you right, that. That is a bigger deal.
• 19:58
Speaker B: Yeah. Cause he basically said, yo, you started to dress a little. You started to pay attention to what you're putting on Now a little bit more. Like, more details. The perfume. He said, hey, and this probably was the line of the whole movie. He said, I know your heartbeat. So you would be arrogant to think that I. I didn't see the change.
• 20:22
Speaker A: I gotta go back and watch that. I don't remember that at all.
• 20:24
Speaker B: Yeah, it's right after. Look, you can fast forward too. It ain't gonna take you that long. You can fast. Matter of fact, YouTube. You go to YouTube?
• 20:31
Speaker A: No, I'm good. I believe you.
• 20:34
Speaker B: It's right there. But I thought their situation was pretty crazy. And then when we get. When we get to Janet.
• 20:43
  Speaker A: Man, that's tough.
• 20:44
Speaker B: Yeah, that's tough. That one is. Yeah. You not supposed to bring that. You gotta bust a bottle over his head for that.
• 20:56
Speaker A: That's not the one that even got the bottle busted over his head.
• 21:00
Speaker B: Yeah. But, hey, he let that out the bag. And then basically he decided to be an asshole one last time to his wife when he decided, hey, this dinner is over with. Told his 20% to go up and start packing, and then proceeded to tell his wife, we, you know, I basically want a divorce. You can have the rental properties. And it was something else. He said something about like a. I don't know if it Was a restaurant or something like that. But he said, it's in a bad neighborhood, some shit.
• 21:34
  Speaker A: And.
• 21:35
Speaker B: Yeah, she was. She was. She blanked out and grabbed.
• 21:40
Speaker A: Well, before. Before she grabbed it, he. He, like, tapped her. He's like, hello? Because she wasn't responding.
• 21:46
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, she was. Yeah.
• 21:47
Speaker A: So, like, yeah, he. She, like. He basically acted like she's stupid. Like, okay, she's not gonna say nothing. All right, whatever. And then that's when she grabbed that bottle, clocked him over his head.
• 21:59
Speaker B: I still trying to. I'm trying to figure out what bottle that was.
• 22:04
Speaker A: That was a big ass bottle.
• 22:05
Speaker B: That was a big. I thought it was a. You know what? I thought. I thought it was a Grey Goose bottle. That Great Goose bottle. You damn damn near would have killed him.
• 22:15
Speaker A: That shit is bottom heavy.
• 22:17
Speaker B: Yeah. So that was that. We found about. We found out about basically somebody getting the std.
• 22:28
Speaker A: Marcus and Angela. That's my favorite part of that whole scene.
• 22:32
Speaker B: She had the reverse UNO card.
• 22:36
Speaker A: I was just waiting for you to get tested.
• 22:38
  Speaker B: Yeah, that's why.
• 22:38
Speaker A: Boom. She said boom.
• 22:44
Speaker B: It got physical. It got physical before it got.
• 22:48
Speaker A: He did try to strangle her after that.
• 22:50
Speaker B: Yeah. It was all, you're so damn evil. Oh, man.
• 22:59
Speaker A: You got it from Walter. I ain't gay. What?
• 23:04
Speaker B: Said I ain't gay. I stole my car. Jody. Oh, my God. Okay, what we have after that was.
• 23:17
Speaker A: Some drama at the table. Ooh.
• 23:19
Speaker B: Yeah. I don't even. Well, I don't. Cause I just wanted to know what they was eating.
• 23:25
Speaker A: I don't even remember food being on the table.
• 23:28
Speaker B: Me neither. That's the crazy part. That's the crazy part.
• 23:31
  Speaker A: Mm.
• 23:33
Speaker B: All right, so what we got next? We got soul food.
• 23:35
Speaker A: Soul food. Soul food. And. And you know my quote when we talked about this before?
• 23:43
  Speaker B: What's your quote?
• 23:45
Speaker A: The family. My husband.
• 23:47
Speaker B: Oh, my God. You little. Oh, my God.
• 23:54
Speaker A: And your wig is bad. And you just.
• 23:58
Speaker B: You can get typecast like that.
• 24:00
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 24:02
Speaker B: Oh, my God. Faith. And here's the. Faith was just. She just super cool.
• 24:08
  Speaker A: Was she, though?
• 24:09
Speaker B: She was super cool and bubbly. She was just cool. Now, look, her actions aside, yeah, that's one thing. But outside of that, like, to me, she had one of the best personalities in the movie. Okay, I'm not gonna kick him with her that long, but she was. She was super cool. Obviously. Everybody know my sugar bird. Come on, Bird. That's my dog right there. Bird is my dog. But again, we. This is. And this right here is not necessarily. Like, this wasn't really the Thanksgiving Table, though. No, this was like the pregame. This was like the pre. Pregame. And they discussing family business. And I must say, like, I'm not gonna say I understood where Terry was coming from. Cause I'm on the other side. When she was spitting facts and she was spitting bars, and she went full K. Once, like, you know, niggas started speaking up, giving her the history lesson of the house and things of that nature. She was like, nigga, shut up. All right? We gonna sell this house. We gonna put. We gonna put Uncle Such and such in a home, and. Cause ain't none of y'all paying the bills, but me, I'm paying the bills and the property tax. So I was like, damn, she do got a. She do got a point. She was like. And we put that nigga at home birthday. We not do. We are not doing that. But she was.
• 25:54
Speaker A: She was business savvy about the whole thing.
• 25:56
Speaker B: She was business savvy. But when she. When she said what she said, the look on her husband's face.
• 26:09
Speaker A: She got that knife.
• 26:10
Speaker B: She got the Michael Myers special.
• 26:13
  Speaker A: Mm.
• 26:14
Speaker B: And you could tell that she would have killed him by accident. Because the way she held it, I was like, she about to hurt somebody other than him.
• 26:23
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 26:24
Speaker B: The way she gets in the way. Yeah. Yeah. So, Brett, what do you say? Like, who do you think when you look at the situation? Because we know. And why did I get married, Mike? Was the issue. Solely the issue. He could have. He could have not said certain things, and it wouldn't have escalated. It still would have been a messy, you know, situation. It was already messy because there's a person that was there that wasn't supposed to be there. But in this scene, who could have controlled the situation better because it didn't look like she. It looked like she was ready to get those bars off anyway.
• 27:11
Speaker A: Yeah. That was just a bomb waiting to go off.
• 27:15
Speaker B: Because how do you bring up. How do you bring up that situation without somebody basically throwing a lob off the backboard to you? Because they basically like, this house is for the family. That family word triggered her.
• 27:32
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Because wasn't. Wasn't Faith the cousin or something?
• 27:39
  Speaker B: Yeah, she's. She's either the. Yeah, she's a little cousin.
• 27:43
Speaker A: Well, and then, you know, Terry felt like nobody was on her side, so she felt, you know, in a corner by herself. So, I mean, maybe she shouldn't have said what she said when she did. I get totally saying it, but really, I don't know. Everybody had their part, though.
• 28:08
Speaker B: I feel like I think. Yeah, because everybody had their parts because of the topic, and the topic was selling. Was selling or keeping the house.
• 28:18
Speaker A: But her husband did not make it any better.
• 28:21
  Speaker B: Whose husband? Max?
• 28:23
  Speaker A: Terry's.
• 28:24
Speaker B: Terry's. Well, he was quiet.
• 28:26
Speaker A: Yeah, he was quiet. He. He wouldn't say.
• 28:30
  Speaker B: Well, he couldn't.
• 28:32
Speaker A: He really couldn't know. But, like.
• 28:36
Speaker B: You want to know the sad. You want to know the sad part? Even even though she was upset and she had a reason to be upset, she still understood. She. She understood why, but she definitely still went off as she should. Terry had control of it, but she let it out, I think. I don't know, man. I don't know. That's just.
• 29:08
Speaker A: I think that one's just too many of them. Like, it's everybody's fault. Well, because at the end, the boy was like, I want to have dinner at Big Mama's house. Like, I want everybody. Because didn't he lie to everybody to get them all there?
• 29:25
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, he did his job.
• 29:30
Speaker A: He's the. Yeah, he's the only one that get a pass, man.
• 29:33
Speaker B: He saw Big Mama get her leg chopped off. He said, enough. Bring y'all ass to this house so we can eat. But I get it, though, something, you know, that, you know, we talking about a house. Everybody. Everybody that I know talks about, you know, you know, if you have a house and it's left to you, then that means a lot. You know, there's a lot of memories and stuff. Like, it hurts my heart seeing houses that I used to pass by all the time or houses I used to go to, used to be inside, and now it's apartment complexes or condos or some shit like that. It's like, damn.
• 30:08
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 30:10
Speaker B: So I totally understand that. But, Faith, you got to take that fade. You got to take that.
• 30:16
Speaker A: You got to go.
• 30:17
Speaker B: You got to take.
• 30:18
Speaker A: You ain't allowed back no more.
• 30:19
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. You got to take that, Faith, because we got. And we got to talk about. We got to. We got to talk about. We got to talk about Terry's husband, Miles, because.
• 30:33
  Speaker A: Talk about typecasting.
• 30:34
Speaker B: Yes, thank you. Thank you. Because he's going to be a part of one of my other episodes that I got coming up. But he. Man, you gotta get together, brother.
• 30:46
Speaker A: Man, every time I, like, I see his face in anything, and I'm like, ugh.
• 30:51
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I get it. But he does have a couple of roles that is like, the total opposite.
• 31:00
  Speaker A: Does he?
• 31:00
  Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I can't.
• 31:02
  Speaker A: I gotta think.
• 31:04
Speaker B: I can't. I can't think of it. Right. I can't think of the. The movie. The movie right now, but yeah, you got some. He got some. Positive.
• 31:13
Speaker A: No, because, look, okay, not to get too off topic, but waiting to exhale. No, that. That fool can kick rocks.
• 31:20
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, he was. He was that.
• 31:22
  Speaker A: Probably barefoot.
• 31:24
Speaker B: Yeah, that probably was his worst role. Oh, yeah. Set that on fire.
• 31:32
Speaker A: Yeah, all of it.
• 31:33
Speaker B: Barbecue. All right, so, Faith. Yeah, you got it. You got to go. You got to go. New Jack City. Oh, my God.
• 31:45
Speaker A: New Jack City. Look, I did rewatch this one because I hadn't seen it in a cool minute. And that table, look, the New Jack City table had highs and lows, okay? It was. Because in the beginning, it's celebrating, you know, they. They make money, they whatever. Right? Their team, they. They rule and everything. And then throughout the movie, everything breaks down at that table.
• 32:15
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 32:15
Speaker A: Because. Because every time they get together and they talk or, you know, they meet up after something happens, it's falling apart.
• 32:23
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 32:24
Speaker A: And so more drama at that table.
• 32:26
  Speaker B: Right.
• 32:26
Speaker A: And then you by yourself at the end.
• 32:29
Speaker B: Well, the ma. The. The major mess up is when the Carter got. You know, somebody dropped a dime. And that was. That was. And from what Nino said, it was making a million dollars a day. It was either. It was either. Yeah, it was. It was definitely a million dollars a day. It's not a million.
• 32:49
Speaker A: I just want to be employed for a week. I'll be good.
• 32:53
Speaker B: Million dollars a day. That was mad. But he was so mad that he was jump roping. Yeah, the was jump roping. So, you know, look, anytime there's a table involved and you got everybody around the table and a. That's the head of whatever that is, that family entourage, gang mafia, whatever you want to call it, if the nigga start jump roping, somebody's about to get hurt.
• 33:22
Speaker A: But you about to die. You about to lose the limb. You about to get your ass whooped. Something happening?
• 33:28
Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, because now, we didn't know at the time, but, you know, I. If you watch movies enough. And I can't say this for myself, because I was young at the time, so I wasn't, you know, I wasn't into movies or know, knowing about movies like that to say this, but you kind of know that the brother is not going to die that early, so he's not going to kill his brother that early, but lo and behold, he still killed the next.
• 33:58
Speaker A: Right. Recipes. G Money.
• 34:01
Speaker B: G Money. And it was a woman involved. It was more than that or whatever, but they had their own little side beef because you Know of greed and jealousy. But, you know, he got his head honchos, he got his lieutenant, he got his favorite shooter at the table. He got the brother in law that the nigga don't like, except that like your pretty ass. There was some physical altercation and. Yeah, I mean, when you. When you are the reason, or I guess you can say the reason why a million dollar operation got shut down. A million dollar a day, I'm sorry, Got shut down. Somebody got to get stabbed in the hand.
• 34:58
Speaker A: Yeah, you. You hired Pooky. You brought Pooky back.
• 35:02
Speaker B: You hired Pooky. Scotty. Help. Scotty.
• 35:08
Speaker A: They got a club back.
• 35:13
Speaker B: Just keep calling. Keep calling me. Shout out, man. Shout out to Chris Rock. That was. He killed that role.
• 35:22
  Speaker A: He did, though.
• 35:23
Speaker B: He did Ice Tea. Shout out to Ice Tea. Killed that role, too.
• 35:27
Speaker A: He did. But God damn, that hair.
• 35:30
Speaker B: Yeah, the hair. The hair is crazy.
• 35:34
  Speaker A: It's such a distraction.
• 35:35
Speaker B: Yeah. But, yeah, I mean, you know, and then he sat down and, yo, the one thing I don't get is so afterwards he told everybody to leave. Oh, he was like, leave me. Don't stab me in my hand and say, leave me.
• 35:58
  Speaker A: Right?
• 36:00
Speaker B: Be gone. Yeah. Like, they called me a call the paramedics, for one. Like, talk about leave me. He just stabbed me through my goddamn hand. But we can talk about that and then not talk about the Martin scene, you know what I mean? Because it kind of go hand in hand. And to me, I would have to rank that probably one of the best scenes ever in Martin history.
• 36:30
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 36:31
Speaker B: And the reason why I do is because niggas broke character so many times during that. Cause they said. They said the dog was there, but they wasn't going to use it.
• 36:43
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:46
Speaker B: And they end up using it.
• 36:48
Speaker A: They sure did. And, oh, I love when shows do that, by the way, when they break character and they keep it.
• 36:55
Speaker B: Yeah, I like it.
• 36:56
Speaker A: It makes. Yeah, it makes it even funnier than what it is supposed to be. But, yeah, they weren't expecting it.
• 37:05
  Speaker B: No.
• 37:05
Speaker A: And, yeah, I think that's a lot of people's top Martin scene.
• 37:15
Speaker B: And it was all over, what, a CD player that Brother man had this whole time.
• 37:21
  Speaker A: Yep. Brother Man.
• 37:23
Speaker B: Fifth flow that stay breaking in.
• 37:27
  Speaker A: Make some sandwiches.
• 37:29
Speaker B: Yeah, man. Yo, shout out to D. Murph. Because, you know, D. Murph had him on the show.
• 37:35
  Speaker A: No, I didn't know that.
• 37:36
Speaker B: Yeah. And that's when we found out that he actually got. He actually got a sandwich or something like that.
• 37:41
  Speaker A: That's funny.
• 37:43
Speaker B: Yeah. And again, I don't know if it was the idea created on D. Murph's show or it was already in the works and he, you know, brought it up on an episode. But, yeah, he had him on his social. Shout out to D. Murph.
• 37:58
  Speaker A: Shout out.
• 38:00
Speaker B: So that's up there. It's, you know, it's the comedy. It's a comedy version. But it was still. It was some tension. It was some drama. It was some drama, for sure. Let's see. We gotta go. Look, you gonna have to take full control over this. Cause I can tell you I don't remember nothing about Kingdom Come. I don't.
• 38:25
Speaker A: Okay. I haven't seen it in years. But I know after we talked about this, I looked up the scene real quick because I didn't feel like watching the whole movie. But the gist of the movie is there's a funeral for. Well, it's Ella Cool J and Anthony Anderson's dad. And so everybody in this got their own little, you know, personal drama. Just kind of like soul food. Everybody got their own little family thing going on. And the mom, Whoopi Goldberg, is just trying to have the funeral, just trying to lay her husband to rest. Like, whatever. Whatever you're doing, I don't care. You know, all that. So Anthony Anderson cheated on his woman, Jada Pinkett, and she going nuts through the whole thing and hollering and crying and breaking down, fainting in front of everybody. All like, the whole thing. And I think the woman ends up being at the funeral or, like, helping out with the family and stuff. Kind of like. It's like a mix of why did I get married? And soul food. It's just. Yeah. So ironically, Vivica Fox is in this one, too. And they end up trying to get the table together for the food after a funeral. And then that's when everybody's like. That's when Jada Pinkett finds out that it was this one woman. I think her name was Bernice Talbot or something like that. That's a crazy last name, right? And so when she finds out the woman's there and she, like, freaks out. She starts chasing her around. Anthony Anderson tried to cut in between and, like, calm her down and everything, and she started hitting him. It ends up being a whole scene. So that's why I had said Kingdom Come, because there was some drama around food and all the family. But, yeah, that's the gist of that one.
• 40:33
Speaker B: Okay. It seemed like, I can find this on tb.
• 40:36
Speaker A: Hell, yeah. I'm sure if I can find it.
• 40:39
Speaker B: I'm going Watch it, though.
• 40:41
Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, it's got some funny parts. I mean, you got Anthony Anderson and Eddie Winslow's in there.
• 40:48
  Speaker B: Eddie Winslow.
• 40:49
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I forgot what his. I forgot what his thing was in there.
• 40:56
Speaker B: I just remember. I just remember he was in there.
• 40:59
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Yep.
• 41:02
Speaker B: Shout Out. We had movies. We did. All right, well, we got a Nutty professor, so this. Wait, which one, though, are we talking with J.
• 41:11
Speaker A: It could be both real, really. But I was talking about the first one.
• 41:14
Speaker B: Oh, with Jada, Right. Jada was in the first one, right? That wig was. That was wild, man.
• 41:23
Speaker A: That shit did not move.
• 41:24
Speaker B: That thing was. That thing was. It was right there. But that one was just a classic scene because you had G moms going off, she asking her if they had sex. You know what I'm saying?
• 41:37
Speaker A: Y'all gonna have relations?
• 41:39
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 41:40
Speaker A: Okay, let's just talk about both. Cause it's kind of the same thing. Cause this is. The grandma does the same thing to Janet. The second one. Yeah, but my favorite thing that the grandma does, when her and Papa Clump are going back and forth and she says, who's this piece of Paschetti remind you of? Oh, my God.
• 42:06
Speaker B: So in this situation, like Terry and like Mike, she basically controls. She's controlling the table right now.
• 42:15
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 42:15
Speaker B: Like, she. She is the energy. You know what I'm saying? She got the slick lines, all that he's falling out, all kind of shit. Yeah. Classic. And, man, shout out to. They say it, but I don't think they say it enough. Eddie Murphy and his goddamn. So. I know. Brit, I got a question for you. Okay. You gotta think hard about this one. And to be fair, is lopsided as far as how many characters? No, it might not be lopsided. I never. I didn't. I haven't counted. So I don't want to lie. But who had the better characters, Martin or Eddie Murphy? Think about it.
• 42:59
Speaker A: Oh, now are we talking about, like, Wait, wait, wait. Career?
• 43:05
Speaker B: No, let's. We're gonna. We're gonna do this. Let's leave. Let's leave these on a cliffhanger. That's gonna be a whole show.
• 43:12
  Speaker A: Oh, shit.
• 43:13
  Speaker B: Eddie versus.
• 43:13
Speaker A: I can't wait for that one.
• 43:14
  Speaker B: Eddie versus Martin.
• 43:15
Speaker A: I can't wait for that one. That's gonna be dope.
• 43:17
Speaker B: Okay, so we. We gonna do that. And we. And we just doing characters only. Not. Not stand up. But I mean, obviously. Obviously the movies. Was. Was Eddie Murphy in any TV shows? I was not. Saturday Night. Saturday Night Live. We're not doing that one.
• 43:33
  Speaker A: I don't think he was.
• 43:35
Speaker B: I don't think he was either. Or at least I was.
• 43:38
Speaker A: I just got to say, though, his Saturday Night Live shit was hilarious.
• 43:42
  Speaker B: Yeah. Classic.
• 43:43
Speaker A: One of my favorites.
• 43:44
Speaker B: I'm going to say that. I'm going to admit this. Saturday Night Live is one of those things that I wish I would have got into like, that. I never really got into it like that. I was. I will watch it, but I wasn't watching it like how I was watching the Simpsons.
• 43:58
Speaker A: Yeah. I watched Saturday Night Live back then more than I do now. I watch, like, clips that I. You know. But no, I watched it more back in the day.
• 44:09
Speaker B: Watch this. Let me see. Let me see if we. If we friends or not. I almost feel like I know the answer. Saturday Night Live or the Office?
• 44:18
  Speaker A: The Office.
• 44:19
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 44:20
  Speaker A: Whoa.
• 44:22
  Speaker B: That's a fight, though. That's a fight.
• 44:25
Speaker A: Nah, that. That's easy for me. That's the Office.
• 44:28
Speaker B: Cause Saturday Night Live got. Has the most seasons out of everybody. Right.
• 44:32
Speaker A: It doesn't matter how many.
• 44:34
Speaker B: I'm just. I'm just saying they. Because they have a lot.
• 44:36
Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah. They got like, what, 50 something? They. They up there.
• 44:39
Speaker B: Yeah. And they. And they. They cameos is shit crazy.
• 44:44
Speaker A: True. But I could watch the. I. Look, I don't watch the SNL like that. I still watch the Office back to back.
• 44:50
Speaker B: That's true all the time. I think I'm gonna get into my. I think I might get into my SNL bag. I don't know where I want to start at, but it'll probably be somewhere back when. When Eddie was. Was there.
• 45:02
Speaker A: Yeah. Well, on Peacock, they have SNL collections, so you can watch, like, some of Eddie Murphy's best and some of Chris Farley's best. Shout out to Chris, Bill Murray and. Yeah. So you can start there with watching some of the best ones.
• 45:20
Speaker B: Shout out. Shout out. All right, but we gonna do that. Jot that down. Eddie versus Martin characters edition.
• 45:26
  Speaker A: Got it.
• 45:27
Speaker B: Okay. All right. Anything left on Nutty Professor?
• 45:32
  Speaker A: I don't think so.
• 45:34
Speaker B: Okay. Shout out to that. That. Damn. Who was it sponsored by? Volkswagen. The second one.
• 45:40
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 45:42
Speaker B: Because. Yeah, I remember the video.
• 45:45
  Speaker A: Everybody wanted that.
• 45:47
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 45:47
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. She was riding a map.
• 45:50
Speaker B: Was it like a green, like a lime green or some like that? Yeah. Look at me being a stalker a little bit. So we talked about the Martin one with the new Jack City. So the next one would be. I can honestly tell you, I don't remember this one either. And.
• 46:05
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 46:07
Speaker B: And I watched Wedding Crashes a Couple of times. I just don't remember it.
• 46:11
Speaker A: I can tell you about this one. So in Wedding Crashers, the wedding crashers joined the family at their. Whatever, home, and they're at the dinner table, they're being served by the help or whatever you want to call them. And they have an older grandma, very old, you know, so she's got the racist prejudice comments here and there. Because I just remember she's like. And her daughter, big dyke, big rug one.
• 46:47
  Speaker B: Who said that?
• 46:48
  Speaker A: Bizarre, huh?
• 46:50
  Speaker B: Who said that?
• 46:51
  Speaker A: The grandma.
• 46:52
Speaker B: The grandma said it. Yeah, the grandma said it.
• 46:56
Speaker A: Yeah. And because then the. The brother of the sisters, he's like, yeah, he's, like, awkward and gay, and he, like. He's kind of dark, and they comment on his stuff all the time. And so everybody's little tidbits are coming out, but the grandma just saying the most outlandish.
• 47:18
Speaker B: Yo, the grandmas is up right now. Hey, and when. Hey, and when I. When we're done with this, I'm thinking the grandmas might win this one.
• 47:29
  Speaker A: Yeah, probably.
• 47:30
Speaker B: The grandmas might win this one. Yeah, they rush it. Can I. I just want to say this. I'm going to apologize to y'all now. Meet the Parents. Or is it the parents or Meet the Fockers? No, it was Meet the Parents.
• 47:44
Speaker A: I think it was Meet the Parents. I didn't even put that on this list.
• 47:46
Speaker B: Meet the Parents did not make the list, y'all.
• 47:48
Speaker A: And I'm sorry, I forgot that that's all. We talked about it, but I forgot to put it on.
• 47:53
Speaker B: Yeah, Meet the Parents did not make the list. So yell at us now and love us later. Yeah. All right, so shout out to wedding crashes. Where do we rank Vince Vaughn, though?
• 48:04
  Speaker A: Oh, he's hilarious.
• 48:05
Speaker B: He is, though. He don't. He don't miss. But has he ever had a. Has he ever had, like, a serious role?
• 48:14
Speaker A: Ah, you know what? I'm looking him up right now. Hold on, Vince V. I can't think of one.
• 48:23
  Speaker B: Even. What you.
• 48:25
Speaker A: He's gotta have one.
• 48:26
Speaker B: Even our two guys, even our. Even Dwight and. And what you call it. Got. Got serious roles after. After the show. Jim and Jim and Jim and Dwight got, you know, one turned into a mercenary. And Dwight. What was Dwight? A serial killer or some.
• 48:48
Speaker A: Something. Oh, he's had a couple. Some of this stuff I've never even heard of, but he was in the second Jurassic park movie, the one that nobody watches, so that wasn't really a comedy. Oh, he was in Psycho.
• 49:07
  Speaker B: It was.
• 49:08
Speaker A: He was in the 98 version of Psycho.
• 49:11
Speaker B: I'm gonna have to check that out. I'm have to check that out.
• 49:14
Speaker A: But I love him and be cool.
• 49:16
Speaker B: Yes. Yes. And three stacks. Don't give me no gun. I say that to varsity. Don't give me no gun.
• 49:28
Speaker A: Oh, my God. Yeah, he's funny for sure.
• 49:33
  Speaker B: Step brothers.
• 49:35
  Speaker A: Yeah, step brothers.
• 49:37
Speaker B: Step brother Will Ferrell is in my top. In my top five. White blue eyes, soul comedian. Yeah, I made that up.
• 49:47
  Speaker A: You sure did.
• 49:50
Speaker B: Robin Williams, Will Ferrell. Those, my. Those are my top two.
• 49:56
Speaker A: I think you got to add Jim Carrey to that.
• 49:58
Speaker B: Jim Carrey, Yeah, for sure. All right. So that's the trilogy.
• 50:02
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 50:02
  Speaker B: That's a trilogy for sure. You're right.
• 50:06
Speaker A: For step brothers. What were they at the table after they first.
• 50:10
Speaker B: The brother was an. The brother was an. The brother's wife was super horny.
• 50:17
  Speaker A: Was she, though?
• 50:18
Speaker B: She was. She was. She was a. She was a fan. She was a freaky ass. You see what she did? She. That was sexual harassment when she did him in the bathroom.
• 50:30
Speaker A: Oh, that one. Okay. We're talking about that table. Got it. I got it now. Okay. Well, the brother and. Well, I was thinking, like, in the beginning when they first move in together.
• 50:40
  Speaker B: Oh.
• 50:41
Speaker A: Like. Because. Yeah, it is a little crazy and awkward there, but. No, you're right. That other dinner table, when the brother.
• 50:51
Speaker B: Remember the. Came up to the treehouse? When he came to the treehouse to go get us.
• 50:56
Speaker A: You see these abs? But when she gets all, like, flustered and pushing up on him, and she says, I just want to roll you up into a ball and shove you in my vagina. What? And when I feel a tickle, I know it's just your hair.
• 51:16
Speaker B: You gotta get away from her. I love her. I love her.
• 51:19
Speaker A: She plays crazy very well.
• 51:21
Speaker B: Yes, she does a phenomenal job. A phenomenal job. That whole. No, that whole cast, though.
• 51:29
Speaker A: Yeah. That movie had me. It still makes me laugh. Like. Like, I seen it for the first.
• 51:35
Speaker B: Time when the bunk beds fell on that naked. Oh, my God, I hollered. So many activities that said, this is how we do it. Oh, my God. With the Catalina wine.
• 51:55
Speaker A: The Catalina watch picture.
• 51:57
Speaker B: Yo, that was singing his ass off.
• 52:02
  Speaker A: He sure was.
• 52:03
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 52:05
Speaker A: Yeah, but that table, they. Man. What's funny at that table is where the dad is so, like, in love with the son.
• 52:16
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 52:16
Speaker A: Whatever his name is. I forget Derek. And. And he's just laughing and just staring at him, and she's like, I've never heard you laugh like that. And he's. You know, the boys are like, Interrupting. He's like, don't interrupt him. Yeah. No.
• 52:35
  Speaker B: Oh, man.
• 52:37
Speaker A: Not every child can be the favorite. Now, that's a fact.
• 52:41
Speaker B: That is a fact. Oh, my God. That's such a good movie. That's such a good movie. All right. Oh, my God. I gotta watch that now.
• 52:50
Speaker A: Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing.
• 52:52
Speaker B: I gotta watch that.
• 52:53
Speaker A: I have to put that on now.
• 52:54
Speaker B: A personal favorite in the personal stash. Oh, my God. Christmas vacation.
• 53:02
  Speaker A: Christmas vacation.
• 53:03
Speaker B: You don't understand that. This is Aunt Bethany's 80th Christmas. They asked this motherfucker to say the blessings. To say the blessings. And she proceeded to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
• 53:22
Speaker A: I pledge allegiance to the flags.
• 53:26
Speaker B: Hey, Cousin Guy. Wait. No, no, no.
• 53:28
Speaker A: Hold on. They say they want you to say grace. She goes, grace. She died about 20 years ago.
• 53:38
Speaker B: Oh, man. Hey, when. When cousin stood up and put his hand across his heart. You just gotta roll with it. Yeah, just roll with it.
• 53:48
Speaker A: That turkey Cousin Eddie served, so. I mean, he had to.
• 53:56
Speaker B: In the Martin Thanksgiving episode, they had the candy yams. That was a flop, right? In this movie, the turkey.
• 54:06
  Speaker A: That damn turkey.
• 54:07
Speaker B: That turkey was. Where was the meat?
• 54:11
Speaker A: Didn't stand a chance. That shit turned to dust.
• 54:16
Speaker B: Oh, my God. And it pooted. Go back. I seen it. It pooted as it burst open. Yeah, it pooted. Watch out. Look.
• 54:24
Speaker A: And if you pay attention, right, so Chevy Chase is chewing that shit like it's jerky.
• 54:30
Speaker B: Like, it's like. It's like frozen beef jerky, though.
• 54:34
Speaker A: Yeah. And I can't remember if it's him or somebody else, but somebody's like, no, I think it's. His mom is dunking the turkey in the water and then eating it. Like she's putting it in her glass of water and then eating it.
• 54:47
Speaker B: Everybody around that table is struggling with that shit. And Pearl, old girl, the wife of Cousin, just. I felt. I felt her soul. But she said it, though. She caught it. She said, we put that motherfucker to it. He was in there too early, like, I tried to tell y'all. Oh, man. Shout out. We already know what happens after that. What was. The damn squirrel, man.
• 55:14
Speaker A: The squirrel from the tree.
• 55:15
  Speaker B: Get loose.
• 55:17
Speaker A: Let's not forget the cat and the jello.
• 55:19
  Speaker B: The cat.
• 55:22
Speaker A: And then, let's see. The dog got in the trash.
• 55:26
Speaker B: Yeah. And he's choking on the bone, by the way. Under the table.
• 55:30
Speaker A: Yeah, under the table. Well, maybe if you wouldn't feed him. No, he probably got in the trash or something.
• 55:38
Speaker B: That dog. Oh, my God.
• 55:43
Speaker A: But that. That whole table scene. Everybody Was on edge at that point.
• 55:47
  Speaker B: Yeah, it was.
• 55:49
Speaker A: Oh, my God. Yeah, it was awful.
• 55:53
Speaker B: Shout Out. It's a classic movie to me. I'm not saying that I do. I had the dvd. That's how much I loved it.
• 55:59
  Speaker A: I did, too.
• 56:00
Speaker B: Yeah. But I bought the DVD way after we stopped watching DVDs.
• 56:09
Speaker A: That's one of my favorites. Around Christmas.
• 56:11
Speaker B: Yeah. Now rounding up to the last one. Here we go. Here we go. And this is a Brit. This is Brit. Added this one, and I must agree. I must agree.
• 56:25
Speaker A: That's my shit. I love this movie so much.
• 56:28
Speaker B: We go into brown sugar bath. Hey, it's high off love.
• 56:34
Speaker A: Now you know which table I'm talking about, right?
• 56:37
Speaker B: You're talking about the divorce.
• 56:39
Speaker A: Yes, we're celebrating. My what? My divorce.
• 56:44
Speaker B: Hey. He walked up like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
• 56:49
Speaker A: You wearing my favorite dress that got this area on.
• 56:52
Speaker B: Oh, got your titties out. What was the dude name? It was like, something.
• 56:58
Speaker A: I was just trying to think of that, and I'm gonna figure it out.
• 57:01
Speaker B: It was like. Because he was like. It was like a smart game. It wasn't Lance, was it?
• 57:07
Speaker A: No, I don't think so. Hold on. I'm gonna figure that out because I need. I can see him saying it.
• 57:14
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 57:15
Speaker A: Dawson. I think his name was Dawson. Hold on.
• 57:17
  Speaker B: It was Dawson.
• 57:18
Speaker A: I think so. Hold on.
• 57:22
  Speaker B: That's a. That's a cold name for a black dude, right?
• 57:26
Speaker A: Well, he. He did look kind of square.
• 57:28
Speaker B: Have you ever met a black Dawson?
• 57:30
Speaker A: No, I haven't. Brown sugar divorce scene. I'm gonna just load up the scene here real quick.
• 57:39
Speaker B: Yeah, that was. That was classic. But it's cold walking up to your wife and seeing her all booed up on a date. On a date. Like, she on a. She outside. She ain't even trying to hide it. She's at the table. That's like. There's a Runway to her table. All the other. All the other. All the other tables are pushed to the. Because they. Was they in, like, a booth? Was it?
• 58:03
Speaker A: They were in a booth. Yeah.
• 58:05
Speaker B: Yeah. So, yeah, she was. She was out there like she wasn't married.
• 58:12
Speaker A: Yep, married. And then I'm. I'm pulling it up right now, but married and, like, acting all shocked to see him. And.
• 58:25
Speaker B: And I blame s. I blame S. She could have been. She could have done a way better job of making sure that nigga didn't get over there.
• 58:35
Speaker A: Okay. His name is Richard Lawson. I knew there was something that sounded like Dawson, so.
• 58:40
Speaker B: It was Lawson. It was Lawson. That's that's what he's like. Richard Lawson, that nigga dissed your whole.
• 58:49
Speaker A: Gut sound educated think it's.
• 58:55
Speaker B: Oh, my God, that was hilarious.
• 58:56
Speaker A: Give me a bottle of your best champagne because we're celebrating. We're celebrating. My what might of.
• 59:04
  Speaker B: Classic. Classic.
• 59:05
Speaker A: Man, that table got to be awkward as hell. I would not want to be. Her name's Sid. I would not want to be Sid sitting there.
• 59:13
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, that. Well. Okay, so. So I'm. I'm. See, this is why we do shows together. Who was embarrassed the most? My vote is Miles. Yeah, probably because the way Max, like, it hurt my heart when Max looked at him was like, oh, Miles, that's gonna crush. That's gonna crush me right there. So I'm going with Miles being the most embarrassed.
• 59:51
Speaker A: Yeah, I mean. Yeah, you got to. It's gotta be him.
• 59:59
Speaker B: You go. You going with Miles too?
• 1:00:04
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:00:05
Speaker B: I mean. Hey, G. I mean, you got punked in front of the whole organization, though. Like, he.
• 1:00:16
  Speaker A: He.
• 1:00:16
Speaker B: He grabs. He grabs your face and mushed it. And then he wiped somebody else's blood on your clothes and then told you, you will not make another mistake like this. And you didn't because you. You end up dying by him. Yeah, so. So he's up there too, but Miles. Miles for sure. I'm going with that one. If I have to pick somebody from why did I get married? I'm going to go with. I'm going to go with the. I got to go with Tyler Perry's wife.
• 1:00:56
  Speaker A: You what?
• 1:00:57
Speaker B: I got to go with her because you got to. You got to go back.
• 1:01:01
Speaker A: Like Soulja Boy right there. Sorry, Drake.
• 1:01:05
  Speaker B: Drake? Really?
• 1:01:11
  Speaker A: Her?
• 1:01:12
Speaker B: Who would you go with?
• 1:01:14
Speaker A: Like, that is the reason for all the.
• 1:01:17
Speaker B: Oh, okay, I see where you going. Yeah.
• 1:01:19
Speaker A: Is that what you were saying?
• 1:01:20
  Speaker B: Huh?
• 1:01:21
Speaker A: Is that what you were saying, like the. The. The reason why all this happened?
• 1:01:26
Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm asking you.
• 1:01:28
Speaker A: Oh, the most embarrassed.
• 1:01:29
Speaker B: Yeah, the most embarrassed. But you could you. If you still go with Jill Scott, that's totally understandable. That was fucking embarrassing.
• 1:01:35
Speaker A: Yeah, I would do Jill Scott.
• 1:01:37
Speaker B: You do Jill Scott? Yeah.
• 1:01:38
Speaker A: Yeah. Because then. Because then you realize this whole entire time, everybody knew what they were trying to tell you.
• 1:01:43
Speaker B: Yeah, that's like, I'm with you. Yeah, you got me.
• 1:01:48
Speaker A: And so then, not only that, you just got your heart crushed. Like you're realizing it in front of all your friends.
• 1:01:54
Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. I gotta go with that one too. I gotta go with that one too. Yeah, for sure.
• 1:02:01
Speaker A: Let's see who else, obviously. And Nutty Professor Clump is the most embarrassed.
• 1:02:08
Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. For sure. Nobody was embarrassed. Well. Well, I don't think Martin was embarrassed, but if anybody would be, it probably would be him once he found out that brother man had it.
• 1:02:21
Speaker A: But. Right. And how you keep letting. Bro, you ain't getting no locks on these windows.
• 1:02:26
Speaker B: Please tell me how this nigga has been in your house.
• 1:02:30
Speaker A: Break in all the damn time.
• 1:02:32
  Speaker B: All the time.
• 1:02:33
Speaker A: He be in your robe.
• 1:02:34
Speaker B: He be eating your food, making fire sandwiches.
• 1:02:38
Speaker A: Oh, he be coming in and putting the baby to sleep. Remember when they were babysitting?
• 1:02:44
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:02:46
Speaker A: Came out, the baby. Baby was crying. Now I was just putting the baby to sleep.
• 1:02:53
Speaker B: Hey. Hey. You just did it again. That's another episode you gotta jot down. We gotta talk about those. What do you wanna call them? Like, side characters or. We can call them in. No disrespect, but we can call them role players. Because, I mean, let's be honest. I'm beyond totally honest. Without the role players, you don't have a show. You can have the main character, but you have to have. You gotta have Braxton. Braxton. I need Braxton.
• 1:03:25
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:03:26
Speaker B: You know what I mean? So with the Waynes, who's the side character that I needed?
• 1:03:35
  Speaker A: Pops.
• 1:03:38
Speaker B: Pops is a side character, huh? Yeah, you're right. Pops. And I love D. I'm glad. I'm so glad they did Friday.
• 1:03:47
  Speaker A: Mm.
• 1:03:48
Speaker B: That's the perfect. That's. That was so perfect.
• 1:03:51
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:03:51
Speaker B: And then. And then. That's crazy how. That's crazy how in house party, his. His wife and house party was in his, what, next Friday?
• 1:04:05
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 1:04:06
  Speaker B: That's crazy. That's crazy.
• 1:04:08
Speaker A: Oh, Friday after next.
• 1:04:09
Speaker B: Friday after next. Yeah, it was Friday. Oh, yeah.
• 1:04:12
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:04:13
Speaker B: Because when I got the job. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think the other ones come with. I mean, the brothers got embarrassed by they. By what you call her brother. The wife was embarrassed on brown sugar.
• 1:04:31
Speaker A: I don't know if she was the most embarrassed, though.
• 1:04:34
  Speaker B: And brown sugar.
• 1:04:35
Speaker A: Maybe. Maybe. Oh, okay. You know what? Yeah.
• 1:04:39
Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, was it the dude?
• 1:04:41
Speaker A: Not only was it your date and your husband, it's also your husband's best friend.
• 1:04:46
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:04:46
Speaker A: So you got a bigger audience. I guess.
• 1:04:50
Speaker B: Yeah, she got. She got caught. She got caught. Yeah. So are we going. We about to do it. We about to piss some people off and say what our number one is.
• 1:05:06
  Speaker A: You go first.
• 1:05:11
Speaker B: I'm going. Damn, Brit. Because it's gonna. Honestly, it comes down to why did I get married? And soul food for me.
• 1:05:24
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 1:05:25
Speaker B: And the reason. Because If I got. If I got Miles. As for me, as the most embarrassed. But Mike is. That nigga set it all time to set it off. I'm gonna have to go. I'm gonna have to go with. I'm gonna have to go with that table. I'm gonna have to go with. That's good. That's the most dramatic table right there. Because it was so much. It's so many stories involved.
• 1:05:55
Speaker A: You said you're going with why did I get married?
• 1:05:56
Speaker B: Yeah, because with Tyler, it was actually. It was actually two different, you know, problematic stories. It was the baby, and then it was her, you know, having a work husband. I don't. I don't. They didn't really go into detail, but she was dressed.
• 1:06:16
Speaker A: I think it was married to her work. It wasn't an affair.
• 1:06:20
Speaker B: Watch, watch, watch. I promise you, I will watch it.
• 1:06:25
  Speaker A: But I don't remember that.
• 1:06:26
Speaker B: Look. And as soon as you see it, text me. Text me as soon as you see it, watch. But I'm gonna go with that one. Cause it was just too much drama. It was too much drama.
• 1:06:38
Speaker A: Yeah, I'm going with that one, too.
• 1:06:41
Speaker B: And two people. Two people got assaulted. You so damn evil, you know? And they're important. Like, okay, so how do you feel about Ms. 20 Percent?
• 1:06:54
Speaker A: I think she's just as guilty as the husband. Like, that was. Jill Scott was her friend.
• 1:06:59
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, you're right. You right.
• 1:07:00
Speaker A: That was her friend.
• 1:07:01
  Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:07:03
Speaker A: And then you were there knowing that the dude you're sleeping with is married to your friend.
• 1:07:09
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:07:09
Speaker A: And smiling and trying to mingle in with all the wives and everything. Like.
• 1:07:13
Speaker B: Yeah, how do you do that? Nigga, you are cold. Yeah, watch the party die on her. Yeah, that's. That's foul. And she wouldn't even. She wasn't even all that either.
• 1:07:28
  Speaker A: No, she wasn't.
• 1:07:30
Speaker B: Yeah, that was the 20 straight 20. That don't clean, don't cook, don't.
• 1:07:36
Speaker A: And then his ass wanted Jill Scott back. Nope. Sorry.
• 1:07:40
Speaker B: No. When she got outside, we was. What?
• 1:07:43
Speaker A: Once she saw that another man could.
• 1:07:46
Speaker B: Actually appreciate her and up upgraded. Like, help upgrade her. You know what I'm saying? Like, it was someone pushing her to be better.
• 1:07:58
Speaker A: Yep. And then he offered to work out with her.
• 1:08:01
Speaker B: And in return, like, please, somebody please.
• 1:08:04
Speaker A: Offer to work out with me. You ain't going nowhere.
• 1:08:08
Speaker B: Yeah, you lost that one, bucko. You ain't never getting that one back. Ain't never getting that one back. But I did. Like, did you see the latest trend that they did on the Internet.
• 1:08:19
  Speaker A: Mm. Mm.
• 1:08:20
Speaker B: Where they was. It was something they. I forgot where it came from, but they were. They was playing their characters online. Like it started with one person and then the other person heard about it and they picked up on it and they just kept it going. They just kept it going.
• 1:08:35
  Speaker A: I don't think I have.
• 1:08:37
Speaker B: I gotta go. If I find it, I'll send it to you.
• 1:08:40
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 1:08:41
Speaker B: I forgot what it was about or how it even started, but it was dope. How it, how it started though. I guess that's it, right? I guess. I'm excited for the Eddie versus Martin thing though. Me too, though, because we have to do our research. And like I said, I assume before I just stop myself, I assume that Eddie had more characters, but Martin had a lot of characters.
• 1:09:06
  Speaker A: Martin did.
• 1:09:07
Speaker B: He had a lot. He had a lot because he had some. This is. We're talking about overall. I'm not just talking about the characters that he had in the show. I'm talking about the movies included, so. Big Mama.
• 1:09:20
Speaker A: Oh my God, I love that movie. Blue Streaks.
• 1:09:23
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:09:25
Speaker A: Pizza for robbery homicide. That's my shit. I love that movie.
• 1:09:32
Speaker B: Oh my God. Yeah, yeah, but Eddie got some too.
• 1:09:36
Speaker A: Oh, Eddie does. Especially if you want to include snl.
• 1:09:39
Speaker B: Snl coming to America. Yeah.
• 1:09:45
Speaker A: Oh, it's about to be on and cracking for that episode.
• 1:09:48
Speaker B: Yeah, that's gonna be. Oh, we gotta start working on that one.
• 1:09:51
  Speaker A: Yep. Pronto.
• 1:09:53
Speaker B: We might. I might do that for like the new year. Ooh, I might do that.
• 1:09:59
Speaker A: Start off with a bang.
• 1:10:00
Speaker B: Like, you know what? Bang, bang, bang. I think we should make this the rest of the month. I'm talking about December. That is an event like, I wanna, I wanna make some, some artwork for this. Yeah, we gotta come with it. Yeah, we gotta come with it. We gotta come with it. But remember, we not including the standups. Cause Eddie, Ellie, Eddie killing Martin in a standup.
• 1:10:24
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah. I just watched Raw the other day. That shit had me in tears.
• 1:10:29
Speaker B: Yeah, well, yeah, I ain't gonna do that. I don't feel like I don't want to argue about no stand ups. But he. Yeah, no, yeah, he got. He got.
• 1:10:38
Speaker A: But I'm. I'm in agreeance with you. Eddie got Martin beaten that.
• 1:10:44
Speaker B: You know, Bill Bellamy got one standup that I like.
• 1:10:48
Speaker A: I don't know that I've watched a Bill Bellamy stand up.
• 1:10:51
Speaker B: He got one man where he talk about when you a kid and you get you in like a new neighborhood or something like that. That shit had me crying. It was good. It was. I Forgot what the special was called, though. Bill Bellamy got. I don't know how many he got, but that one, I think, which. I don't know if that was his first one or not, but that's a note that. I know that's his most popular one. That was funny to me.
• 1:11:20
Speaker A: I have to. I'm actually searching for it right now because earlier I was watching Dave Chappelle, one of his latest ones.
• 1:11:27
Speaker B: Oh, yeah. And so I mean his, his, his, his last. The catalog that he's built recently, though, that was more like TED Talks to me. Stay still Funny. I still consider them funny. But he do be coming across this tell. And it be dope, though, to me. I think once you get to that. Once you get to a certain level, like, you get to do that. I would have loved to see that version of Stand up from. From what you call it. May he rest in peace. Damn. I can't think of his name right now.
• 1:12:06
Speaker A: I don't know who you talking about. There's lots of comedians that.
• 1:12:09
Speaker B: Yeah, one of the. One of the kings of comedy.
• 1:12:20
  Speaker A: Good God.
• 1:12:21
Speaker B: Y'all know Bernie Mac? Bernie Mac. There you go. I don't know why I was thinking of Craig Mack, but I knew it was Mac, but, yeah, Bernie Mac. I would have loved to see that. That version of Stand up from Bernie Mac. He was one of those ones.
• 1:12:40
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:12:40
Speaker B: To get some milk and cookies. Fuck them. Fuck.
• 1:12:50
  Speaker A: You don't understand.
• 1:12:51
Speaker B: I ain't scared of you motherfuckers. How often do you go back and watch Def Comedy Jam? I do that shit all the time.
• 1:12:58
Speaker A: I actually did. I had a little moment earlier in the year where that's all I was watching was I just put it on and let it ride out. And whoever was on, I just ended.
• 1:13:09
Speaker B: Up watching the women comedian back then. You want to talk about, man. Explicit, but they were nasty.
• 1:13:19
Speaker A: Super nice. What's that? I know we're getting off topic. What's that girl's name? She's so freaking disgusting.
• 1:13:27
  Speaker B: Given.
• 1:13:28
Speaker A: Huh? Is it the short hair? The short blonde hair? She's bigger. She. What's her name?
• 1:13:39
Speaker B: She be with Cat Williams.
• 1:13:40
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:13:41
Speaker B: I can't think of her name, but I know you talking about.
• 1:13:43
Speaker A: You know who I'm talking about.
• 1:13:44
Speaker B: She filthy, though. Oh, she.
• 1:13:45
  Speaker A: Oh, she's disgusting.
• 1:13:46
Speaker B: She filthy. Even in the. Even in the movies she be in. She be filthy.
• 1:13:52
  Speaker A: Yeah, she's gross.
• 1:13:54
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I know you talking about.
• 1:13:58
  Speaker A: Oh, my God.
• 1:14:01
Speaker B: Most, if not all of them were, though. You know what I mean?
• 1:14:04
Speaker A: Her and the one that was on Soul Plane. She was, wasn't she? Probably Queens of comedy too, I think. Lord have mercy. What's her name? Hold on, because that's gonna bug me.
• 1:14:18
  Speaker B: Oh, Adele Givens.
