- 0:00Heavenly Father, a conversation has ended, but
- 0:05its words are still with me. I hear them when
- 0:08the room is quiet. I remember how they were spoken,
- 0:13and what I wish I had said in return. Today,
- 0:18I bring you that hurt, and what happened. You
- 0:23know the parts I can explain, and the feelings
- 0:26I have struggled to understand. Help me speak
- 0:29honestly in your presence. I feel disappointed.
- 0:34I feel angry part of me wants an apology. and
- 0:38part of me wonders whether that apology will
- 0:41ever come. Meet me here, Lord. Before bitterness
- 0:46begins scaping the way, I treat everyone else.
- 0:51Help me name what hurt with vowing that moment
- 0:55to become the whole story of mine. There are
- 0:59people who have shown me kindness. There is work
- 1:02I care about. There are good moments I still
- 1:08want to experience. Give me room to notice them
- 1:12again. Father, when I replay the conversation,
- 1:19Help me recognize whether I am learning something
- 1:22useful or simply deepening the wound. If there
- 1:28is a response I need to prepare, give me clear,
- 1:33thoughtful words. If there is nothing more to
- 1:37do today, help me set the matter down one after
- 1:40the rest. Bring my attention back, or sit beside
- 1:45me, the tasks before me, and the ordinary care
- 1:51my body needs. Jesus, teach me how to forgive
- 1:59I won't release the desire to make another person
- 2:02suffer. as I have suffered, yet I cannot force
- 2:08trust to return or pretend that the harm did
- 2:13not matter. Guide me toward forgiveness that
- 2:19makes room for truth, accountability, wise boundaries.
- 2:27When painful feelings return, help me respond
- 2:30with patience. Show me how to continue healing
- 2:34without condemning myself, having a difficult
- 2:40day. Lord, give me discernment about the relationship
- 2:48involved. Has there space? An honest conversation.
- 2:56Has the other person shown a willingness to listen?
- 3:03Do I need support before deciding what comes
- 3:05next? Lead me toward trustworthy people who can
- 3:11help me think clearly. Where a situation is unsafe,
- 3:18give me courage to seek protection and practical
- 3:21assistance. Help me recognize that caring about
- 3:27someone does not require remaining available
- 3:30for harm. Father, examine my own actions. As
- 3:39well my pain. I may have spoken carelessly. repeated
- 3:46private details, or drawn others into an argument.
- 3:53Help me take responsibility for what belongs
- 3:57to me. Give me humility to apologize without
- 4:02using another person's behaviors and excuses.
- 4:06Teach me to prepare what I can and make different
- 4:11choices when the same feelings rise again. I
- 4:21ask for gentleness in the way I speak to myself.
- 4:26Rejection can make me question everything about
- 4:29who I am. Help me resist the habit of treating
- 4:35one person's words as the final measure of my
- 4:42worth. Remind me of the abilities, the love I
- 4:50can offer, and the responsibilities I can fulfill
- 4:56with care. Thank you, beyond this pain moment.
- 5:08Father, I pray for the person who hurt me. I
- 5:13may not understand their motives, and I do not
- 5:17need to invent an explanation. I ask that you
- 5:23lead them toward honesty about their actions.
- 5:27Place people around them who will encourage responsibility
- 5:31from wishing harm upon them. Give me freedom
- 5:42to pursue peace. Jesus, I'm open to healthy relationships,
- 6:00expecting the same hurt from everyone. Give me
- 6:05time to observe people thoughtfully. Help me
- 6:09recognize fetuses. Respect. Respect the remains
- 6:15during disagreement, which is supported by change
- 6:19behavior. Make me willing. Offer those same qualities.
- 6:28I pray for anyone listening, who's carried an
- 6:32old wound quietly for years. Help them find a
- 6:37safe place to speak, and patient support, as
- 6:42they decide what they need. For the person greeting
- 6:47a friendship, bring companionship. For the person
- 6:54fiddling difficult conversation. For the person
- 6:59learning to settle, bring courage. Father, thank
- 7:17you for every moment. When someone is treating
- 7:20my feelings with care, bringing those memories
- 7:24to mind, whenever it makes my world feel small.
