0:05
Speaker 1: It's the tech hustle, yep.
0:08
Speaker 1: All right now, raymond, where you at kid.
0:11
Speaker 2: He's over there, I'm here.
0:12
Speaker 2: I'm here, raymond's always chilling in the cut.
0:18

0:19
Speaker 1: Thank you all so much for that opportunity to introduce ourselves.
0:22
Speaker 1: We're about to get today started.
0:24
Speaker 1: We are at episode number three and we got a lot of things to cover today.
0:29
Speaker 2: After that, thanksgiving me.
0:30
Speaker 1: I know Darwin's already leaning back, still leaning back, kid, how was your Thanksgiving?
0:36
Speaker 1: Kid it was good.
0:37
Speaker 3: it was good Question for you guys about Thanksgiving.
0:40
Speaker 3: What's the threshold for eating leftovers?
0:42
Speaker 3: What do you throw them out?
0:45
Speaker 2: Well, it depends which household you're in, because to me personally, I usually I'm old school and I do like seven days.
0:52
Speaker 1: Seven days.
0:54
Speaker 2: My kids and wife does only two days, so after that that shit is gone.
1:01
Speaker 3: That was a big.
1:01
Speaker 3: That's a big debate in my family, like, oh, you know, stop, you don't eat it past Saturday.
1:07
Speaker 3: I'm like what you talking about.
1:07
Speaker 3: I was still eating leftovers as of Monday.
1:10
Speaker 1: For sure, right?
1:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, we definitely had some good leftovers too.
1:13
Speaker 3: My thing is you know these people that make their meal preps.
1:17
Speaker 3: You make your meal preps eating those soggy chicken and broccoli, for you know, seven days later, For sure, my.
1:23
Speaker 3: Thanksgiving dinner, like four or five days later.
1:25
Speaker 3: Give me a break.
1:27
Speaker 2: I want to say five.
1:27
Speaker 2: I don't want to stretch it out to seven.
1:29
Speaker 2: Seven is the case.
1:30
Speaker 2: It depends on how money, how tight money is.
1:33
Speaker 2: I'm stretching shit out.
1:35
Speaker 2: Five days, five days.
1:36
Speaker 1: Five days, five days.
1:37
Speaker 1: Well, big shout out to Thanksgiving.
1:39
Speaker 1: Shout out to.
1:39
Speaker 1: I hope everybody had a really good time hanging out with their family.
1:43
Speaker 1: Remember, this is what those moments are for us to see each other and reflect on our lives, how everything is going Indeed.
1:50
Speaker 2: Yeah.
1:52
Speaker 1: So today's show.
1:52
Speaker 1: We're going to give a quick rundown of what we got going on today.
1:54
Speaker 1: All right, fellas, we got the tech talk.
1:55
Speaker 1: We're going to be talking about, you know, just engineering and some new opinions that I have about how we evaluate engineers to get into this field.
2:02
Speaker 1: We got quick nuggets no, no, no.
2:06
Speaker 1: We got some news from D Hustle, I think.
2:09
Speaker 1: We got some AI update stuff Raymond's nuggets.
2:12
Speaker 1: And then we got some sports, current events and sponsors.
2:14
Speaker 2: At the end, so how does it sound?
2:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel good about it.
2:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel good about it.
2:18
Speaker 2: The fans can't wait.
2:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, for sure.
2:21
Speaker 1: I'm looking for a little bit of an entry song for me to talk about this topic here.
2:28
Speaker 2: Let me help you out.
2:28
Speaker 2: I guess I'm dirty here real quickly.
2:32
Speaker 1: I felt it last week.
2:34
Speaker 2: I'm going to give it to you this week.
2:36
Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about.
2:40
Speaker 1: I really appreciate that intro D Hustle.
2:42
Speaker 1: We got up on the screen.
2:44
Speaker 1: Right now we're looking at this post that I actually reposted on Linktree this week.
2:48
Speaker 1: It's awesome.
2:50
Speaker 1: Talking about how we evaluate engineers to get into this field.
2:55
Speaker 1: So a lot of organizations that the tech hustle has been supporting and I've been, you know, speaking at have been around getting people into tech.
3:02
Speaker 1: Okay, big shout out to Code.
3:05
Speaker 1: Path is an organization I work with.
3:07
Speaker 2: Shout out to Code Path.
3:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, big shout out to Code Path that's Geneva, Kelsey, Catalina and them and Anthony, all of them.
3:16
Speaker 1: Big shout out to them For sure.
3:20
Speaker 1: Code Path is where it's at, but in the process of actually supporting Code Path and their career center by doing career coaching.
3:26
Speaker 1: So what I do is I help new people that are interested in the field of engineering, especially if you're in college, and Code Path provides services around teaching certain skill sets, but also the career centers there to support them when they're ready to go into the field of interviewing Right.
3:42
Speaker 1: And one thing that I've learned over this past year and a half supporting Code Path is that the way that companies are like evaluating engineers or like testing your ability as an engineer is not even a real reflection of what it is when you're really an engineer, and that's like the hard thing for me to like really like somebody has been in the field so long and then they say, all right, this is how you test if somebody is ready to be an engineer and you're like this is not really testing anything, really right.
4:10
Speaker 1: So it's something that I stumble upon an article that was posted online and you can definitely check it out on my LinkedIn where somebody said, like no more lead code, and they're really being serious about how they're talking about lead code.
4:26
Speaker 1: Now, if you don't know what lead code is.
4:27
Speaker 1: Lead code is basically a platform which is a really cool platform that basically gives you prompts or questions about designing a program to solve that problem.
4:38
Speaker 1: An example is like hey, if I give you somebody's name, I want you to return it or print it out backwards.
4:46
Speaker 1: So like Raymond Simillion right, it's like it should print out Simillion Raymond.
4:51
Speaker 1: It's like, how do you write programs to be able to solve those type of problems?
4:55
Speaker 1: But lead code for me is just a way for us to practice that skill.
4:59
Speaker 1: It shouldn't be something for us to say, hey, for you to get into this field of engineering, you need to practice this three hours a day, or like so many hours worth of practicing, and also not even really reflect on how it is to be an engineer in our field, something that this article just really got me riled up and had me a chance to talk about it.
5:19
Speaker 1: I know I'm running on a little bit, but this is like something that I want everybody to, as they're developing these skills to become engineers.
5:25
Speaker 1: Just be mindful of what it takes, and that's what the tech houses here, that's what you hear, baby.
5:30
Speaker 2: That's what we hear, right.
5:32
Speaker 1: So you're going to level people up and give them?
5:33
Speaker 2: the info right.
5:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know she love that.
5:36
Speaker 1: Sometimes I get on this thought process of thinking about how the industry is working right now compared to when we first got in.
5:44
Speaker 1: It's like so crazy of how they evaluate people's skill set and I'm like yo, that's not even really what an engineer is.
5:51
Speaker 1: Why don't we do things on GitHub?
5:53
Speaker 1: Why don't we work in open source?
5:55
Speaker 1: Why don't we contribute to things like that to showcase skills as an engineer?
5:59
Speaker 1: So it's like moments like this that I just want to take a quick second to reflect, because I'm always thinking about these high level tech shit.
6:07
Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
6:08
Speaker 2: I'm out of time.
6:08
Speaker 2: I'm out of time.
6:09
Speaker 1: I'm out of time I like it, for sure, for sure.
6:11
Speaker 1: So if y'all really want to get deeper into more understanding of the skill sets, you need to become a software engineer, to become a systems engineer, because that's where I'm at D-Hustle Scrum Master, business Analyst, software System Analyst.
6:24
Speaker 2: Talk to me, nice man, Big time right.
6:26
Speaker 1: And then, raymond don't call them Rayway Quality Assurance Application Administrator, working at high level, type stuff, you know.
6:33
Speaker 1: And these skill sets themselves aren't the things that people talk about in terms of, hey, if you want to get into the tech, they only talk about software engineering.
6:40
Speaker 1: And I'm like yo when you come to the tech hustle, you're going to find out how many other skills you can develop to really get on this hustle.
6:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so much new in tech.
6:49
Speaker 1: For sure, for sure.
6:50
Speaker 1: All right, so y'all ready to jump into our next, next, next, next conversation.
6:54
Speaker 1: You got any anthem music?
6:56
Speaker 1: I don't know if D-Hustle got any anthem music.
6:59
Speaker 2: Let me see.
7:00
Speaker 1: We got to find something for you.
7:01
Speaker 1: Hold on, let me see if I can get something on the Spotify.
7:06
Speaker 1: Let me see Something we was playing earlier.
7:08
Speaker 1: Let me see Balls.
7:09
Speaker 1: Turn that up a little bit.
7:11
Speaker 1: Player the blue one.
7:12
Speaker 1: There you go, there we go.
7:16
Speaker 2: Uh-oh, that's how you still right there.
7:21
Speaker 3: Every day I'm hustling Every day, I'm hustling Every day, I'm hustling.
7:25
Speaker 3: It's a Florida classic right there.
7:28
Speaker 1: No doubt.
7:29
Speaker 1: What up D-Hustle?
7:30
Speaker 1: What's good player?
7:30
Speaker 1: What's going on, man, how you been feeling, kid.
7:34
Speaker 2: Well, I feel good, man.
7:36
Speaker 2: Thanksgiving was great.
7:37
Speaker 2: I spent time with loved ones and family friends.
7:41
Speaker 2: Fantasy has been going great for me.
7:45
Speaker 1: Well, we're getting into sports, sports and current events, but you know, we're not.
7:49
Speaker 2: I want to give everybody some news.
7:51
Speaker 2: Listen, if you guys, I was watching the family and I see some of the young kids.
7:56
Speaker 2: Man, they really don't talk much.
7:58
Speaker 2: They're always on their phones.
7:59
Speaker 2: Which comes out to me that remember we was talking about going iPhone last week.
8:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
8:06
Speaker 2: You know Google is about to start purging inactive accounts.
8:08
Speaker 2: What If you haven't used it in at least two years?
8:12
Speaker 2: They're gonna enact Delete.
8:14
Speaker 2: Don't call me.
8:15
Speaker 2: Sign up a new way.
8:16
Speaker 2: What happened?
8:17
Speaker 2: Why?
8:17
Speaker 2: Nobody told me?
8:19
Speaker 1: Check your emails?
8:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, you know yo that that I mean they about to save a lot of space, though how many accounts are out there that haven't been active for two years?
8:30
Speaker 3: I got a lot of John Smith account.
8:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, why you set up those email accounts?
8:36
Speaker 1: Right, why you setting up those email accounts?
8:40
Speaker 3: You trying to Smith, I got a bunch of them.
8:43
Speaker 3: I gmailed that.
8:44
Speaker 1: Yeah.
8:44
Speaker 1: I wonder how much money they're going to save by doing that, because you don't understand the cost per user to store all your emails and have them available like always, right, I hope Gmail isn't having a problem, because I checked something out the other day and I just seen that Gmail may have maybe having some problems right now.
9:08
Speaker 2: No, way yeah.
9:09
Speaker 2: I hope they didn't purge too much Sure, I know a lot of people open up emails account just to have an email account.
9:17
Speaker 1: I know some people that don't even like emails at all, but that's the only way that companies communicate, so yeah, no doubt I will say that the emails are also one of those things that if you just think about when you build computing resources to support the infrastructure for emails like y'all, don't realize how much we have to build like and also how much we have to store Right.
9:40
Speaker 1: I remember I used to work at this place.
9:41
Speaker 1: It was the South Florida Water Management District.
9:43
Speaker 1: You remember that SFWMDgov over there off of Southern Big.
9:48
Speaker 1: Shout out to the CTO over there, shout out to them.
9:51
Speaker 2: DP.
9:51
Speaker 1: What's up?
9:51
Speaker 1: Dwayne Piper, steven Barrett, all of them, andrea, all of them.
9:55
Speaker 1: Big shout out to the whole crew over there, a big shout out to the whole systems engineering team there.
10:00
Speaker 1: That's where I learned a lot of skills.
10:01
Speaker 1: But one of the requirements for us, because we work for the state, is that we had to store all the emails that ever been sent to that company or to that organization and we had to store them for six years and we had to make it accessible to anybody in the public to look through our emails too.
10:19
Speaker 1: But it's just massive amount of emails.
10:22
Speaker 1: It's like don't even think about gigs, think about terabytes and petabytes of emails to store.
10:28
Speaker 1: And imagine Google and how much emails they have.
10:32
Speaker 1: Right, right, the forms and stuff.
10:34
Speaker 3: they got the hostess.
10:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole data centers and everything.
10:37
Speaker 1: They're going to save so much money by doing that.
10:38
Speaker 1: But maybe that's the reason why Did they get into details, why it's just?
10:42
Speaker 1: Why not just purge it right?
10:46
Speaker 2: That's what's up.
10:46
Speaker 2: There's a lot of stuff going on with AI right now.
10:49
Speaker 2: Do you remember what happened with my man Sam?
10:52
Speaker 1: Now this is a funny one, bro.
10:54
Speaker 1: I don't know how you get fired.
10:57
Speaker 1: You get fired and then they say yo, I need you to come back, but this time come back again as the CEO.
11:04
Speaker 3: Yo that's yo shout out to the man right there.
11:08
Speaker 2: My man said I'm coming back, but you like, I'm gonna show me what I'm worth.
11:11
Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about.
11:13
Speaker 1: No doubt man, that's what.
11:14
Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
11:15
Speaker 1: If y'all didn't know the audience that Open AI is a company that we've probably mentioned already 10 times on this podcast and it's really going to be one of those that everybody should be following along in terms of just what's going on in this industry of artificial intelligence, AI.
11:30
Speaker 1: But the CEO of AI was fired last week.
11:34
Speaker 1: We post our podcast and we're talking about the guy getting fired, getting hired at Microsoft Every week, so I knew what this guy every week, bro, and then, not even before we even post the podcast, he got his job back.
11:44
Speaker 1: That's crazy.
11:45
Speaker 1: And then they kick some people off the board, that's crazy, he get fired in the first place.
11:51
Speaker 1: There's still so much speculation going on, and the tough thing is is that nobody's really talking much.
11:56
Speaker 2: There's a lot of 700 people.
11:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, because 700 people were about to be out right.
12:00
Speaker 1: That's crazy.
12:02
Speaker 1: So my dude walks out and big shout out to him being able to negotiate that I wonder what kind of new deal he signed, you know?
12:09
Speaker 1: Imagine?
12:09
Speaker 2: if you know, but I need to find out what he did, because that's crazy.
12:13
Speaker 2: I mean, we don't want you, but then hold on, we do need you Make up your mind.
12:18
Speaker 1: Can you imagine that conversation, the type of negotiations you will be making?
12:21
Speaker 1: D.
12:22
Speaker 2: Oh my God, that's a lot of power.
12:25
Speaker 1: I'm going to need that.
12:26
Speaker 1: Can you imagine, oh man.
12:30
Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know all the details yet, but, in general, open AI is being led again by Sam Alton.
12:37
Speaker 1: But there is this new discovery, and what I actually heard in these streets is that there's discovery of a way that the AI has almost become sentient.
12:47
Speaker 1: Now, I don't know if you all know what that means, but it's almost like the AI is not just conscious of us, but of itself and almost able to solve mathematical problems that only humans have the capacity to do it, because you have to do some formulas for seeing other things, and I think that was like one of those new inventions that Sam and his crew came up with or discovered, and, low key, that might have been something that calls that type of riff or riff in the organization, but I don't know.
13:20
Speaker 1: They got something going on over there, though.
13:21
Speaker 2: I don't know.
13:22
Speaker 2: I don't know he did some Rick James sh**.
13:27
Speaker 1: And so, but Microsoft ain't playing.
13:30
Speaker 1: Though Microsoft was like yo, we're going to put them on the bench just for, we put them on the D League just for a little bit, and then bring them back up up to you was hurt.
13:38
Speaker 2: This is a good way to teach you.
13:39
Speaker 2: You were hurt.
13:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's going to be some interesting things coming up and we definitely all should be following along, and the podcast here will definitely keep you up to date.
13:48
Speaker 2: So definitely up to date.
13:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, check in any week to see what this guy's doing.
13:52
Speaker 1: I have these.
13:53
Speaker 1: Like you, I'm trying to get some shares when we're going to make something work, but anyways, what we got coming up next.
13:59
Speaker 1: Oh wow, raymond's nuggets.
14:04
Speaker 1: What's up player.
14:05
Speaker 1: What's good, raymond.
14:06
Speaker 3: Not much, how you guys doing Chillin player.
14:08
Speaker 3: Good, good, I know we are, you know, in holiday season right now.
14:12
Speaker 3: I know a couple weeks ago what we talked about, like what PlayStation's portable device.
14:16
Speaker 1: Yeah.
14:17
Speaker 3: So have you guys heard of like a steam deck or?
14:21
Speaker 1: anything like that.
14:22
Speaker 2: What is it called?
14:22
Speaker 2: Steam deck?
14:23
Speaker 2: Steam deck.
14:25
Speaker 2: Let me look this up here Steam deck.
14:27
Speaker 3: Have you guys heard of that?
14:27
Speaker 1: No, I haven't heard of it yet.
14:29
Speaker 3: Just like PlayStation came out with their you know, portable devices.
14:32
Speaker 3: Just another alternative.
14:33
Speaker 3: My son has told me that he is interested in a gaming computer now.
14:39
Speaker 3: So I'm just kind of weary on if I want to give a 10 year old a gaming computer.
14:43
Speaker 3: But so I'm just kind of researching different alternatives.
14:47
Speaker 3: And there's this thing here called the steam deck.
14:49
Speaker 3: It's basically a computer but it's handheld so you can play the games.
14:54
Speaker 3: So think of it as a gaming computer.
14:56
Speaker 3: But it's interesting, it's got windows on it but it's called a steam deck.
15:02
Speaker 3: So this is kind of one of the hottest things coming out right now.
15:05
Speaker 3: There's a steam deck and the competitor to there's a Lenovo Legion.
15:10
Speaker 3: So basically these two are basically just handheld computers that you play computer games.
15:14
Speaker 2: What was the quarter gun?
15:15
Speaker 2: The other one.
15:16
Speaker 3: The other one is the competitor is a Lenovo Legion.
15:19
Speaker 1: Drop it in the podcast and the new in the discord Lenovo right Like the laptop, yeah just like the laptop, so it's called.
15:26
Speaker 3: Lenovo Legion and the steam deck.
15:28
Speaker 3: So basically they're going back and forth.
15:29
Speaker 3: So not cheap you know, just different alternative If you don't want to, you know.
15:35
Speaker 2: I mean get a full blown gaming computer.
15:38
Speaker 3: This is a mobile gaming device, so not cheap.
15:42
Speaker 3: Like I said, I was just trying to look at different alternatives, but no, I'm not getting my Sunday.
15:46
Speaker 3: So, yes, just kind of wanted to put it out there.
15:50
Speaker 1: Make sure you don't show it to him, though he knows about this.
15:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, that comes with NVMe drives.
15:55
Speaker 1: Yo, this is a really nice device.
15:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, full blown computer.
15:59
Speaker 3: So, this is the early stages, so I don't know if you want to.
16:02
Speaker 3: You know, jump on like the first round of this.
16:05
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think.
16:06
Speaker 1: D hustle said this last week.
16:07
Speaker 1: We kind of like to see everybody use it first.
16:10
Speaker 3: And then.
16:10
Speaker 1: Then we think about getting it afterwards.
16:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's definitely some good advice.
16:14
Speaker 2: So I mean, the prices is not that bad.
16:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't think that bad.
16:19
Speaker 3: I mean if you look at it, it's more than a.
16:21
Speaker 3: I mean PlayStation five.
16:23
Speaker 2: The cheapest one is 300 $400.
16:26
Speaker 2: That comes with 256.
16:27
Speaker 2: And that has an LCD.
16:29
Speaker 2: Now, if you want to spend another $150, you know, you get maybe yeah, $150, you get to the 512 gig and it comes with an OLED screen.
16:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, and then, once you start going up, of course you have another one top line one terabyte mmm 649.
16:47
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not gonna lie to you, man, these are the prices that we see now they're gonna be up there yeah no matter, even the weed
16:53
Speaker 2: was what three, four hundred dollars.
16:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're correct.
16:56
Speaker 2: Okay, I think this normal okay, okay, personally, it's a tool, especially for gadgets like this.
17:03
Speaker 2: Okay, definitely, definitely, normal but yeah you guys can check it out, yeah today, you know the steam, deck steam deck, I didn't know about this.
17:11
Speaker 2: My son just let my son telling you my son's looking for a computer himself okay, he's looking for computer.
17:16
Speaker 3: He's a gamer.
17:16
Speaker 3: Now.
17:17
Speaker 3: Okay, is he looking for a gaming computer or just a computer gaming computer?
17:20
Speaker 3: That's my son, yeah, yeah, what is it with them with the gaming computers?
17:25
Speaker 2: now.
17:25
Speaker 2: I mean, who are they looking at?
17:26
Speaker 2: He's like arguing with me 10 year old.
17:30
Speaker 3: He's like a gaming computer is better me these prices.
17:33
Speaker 2: One of them was like almost two grand just for the it was another one for like four grand like yeah, where the fuck are you getting these prices from?
17:41
Speaker 3: like that happening?
17:42
Speaker 2: yeah, he goes well is all the debt or building yourself.
17:45
Speaker 2: I saw you getting yeah.
17:47
Speaker 2: I guess you won't be on late week for a while we buy the pieces right to the side another option.
17:56
Speaker 3: One of my coworkers told me like why don't I build it you?
17:58
Speaker 3: Know, yeah, saying that he'd get more fulfillment out of it just going to buy it.
18:02
Speaker 3: He's like why don't you just build it with your son?
18:04
Speaker 1: I was like yeah, I could do that, but I don't want to give him I don't want to give a 10 year old a game- yeah, it's these.
18:10
Speaker 1: These devices are not get, are gonna be limited on how fast they can.
18:15
Speaker 1: They can work correct because, like the PS5 I don't know what type of processor has in there, but that's like the peak right and the computers just are able to take you to the next level.
18:26
Speaker 1: So it's better quality, better games, almost but I think every to me personally.
18:31
Speaker 2: I think it's just the memory.
18:32
Speaker 2: It is more memory you look for, the more expensive graphics card to yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah serious graphics stuff.
18:44
Speaker 1: It's just crazy yeah, yeah, good internet as well, for sure.
18:46
Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sorry to tell you guys, but I had to end up buying my son workstation or gaming PC.
18:55
Speaker 1: I let you guys just get your conversation on.
19:02
Speaker 1: This is like almost two years ago I bought yeah, so he's had one for a good minute.
19:17
Speaker 2: How much you spend on?
19:18
Speaker 1: that what?
19:19
Speaker 1: So what I did was is I actually went on offer up and I was looking for one of these people that were selling computers that they put together and I found a really decent one that I bought for like 788 it was 788 and it was like at the top of the line, one of the really best ones.
19:34
Speaker 1: But now, two years later, he already needs an upgrade now.
19:36
Speaker 1: So, but the thing is is that I bought it from him and when I bought it from, I told him take it apart.
19:41
Speaker 1: So when I got it, we got it all in pieces and I was like alright, me and my son, we actually have some pictures and stuff like that.
19:47
Speaker 1: I'll throw it in the newsletter of us building it together.
19:49
Speaker 1: And he I don't know how much he remembers it I remember it, I remember it, but I don't know how much he remembered it, but it was something so what is exactly that you have to upgrade now?
20:05
Speaker 1: so right now.
20:05
Speaker 1: So this is the thing like.
20:06
Speaker 1: This is what the playstations are getting our money from is because the PlayStation aren't able to keep up with the games.
20:13
Speaker 1: The games are getting better and better and now you don't even need to buy a game DVD no more, because they can just download it.
20:18
Speaker 1: So they're basically downloading these really large games now on these devices that have limited computing resources, which is the CPU or the memory card, like you said, raymond.
20:29
Speaker 1: So what happens is is that you buy a computer and then you can swap those up, right graphics card graphics card.
20:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can get a new NVIDIA and G for something right, and then a new chip, and then that's how they can basically upgrade it every two to three years keep up with the yeah and then my son plays with his computer, with a PlayStation controller so it's just like he's still playing on PlayStation right.
20:54
Speaker 2: So it's nothing really.
20:56
Speaker 1: It doesn't have to plug in the PlayStation, no no, no, he can use the controller, goes over Bluetooth and he has a headphones.
21:03
Speaker 1: I mean, he convinced me that about a year or two years ago.
21:07
Speaker 2: You can play a computer, your PS5, on, on a, how you call it, lcd screen slash computer.
21:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure.
21:17
Speaker 2: You can definitely do that you wanted a screen that had a HDMI cord.
21:20
Speaker 2: That's right in the back of the PlayStation got me going crazy, going to Best Buy looking for this crap wow.
21:26
Speaker 2: I was like, bro, it's not gonna work.
21:28
Speaker 2: How do you do that?
21:29
Speaker 2: Well, it's, all these monitors now have HDMI screen, hdmi ports in the back of the screen of their monitor.
21:41
Speaker 2: So all you do is plug it in on the back of where your HDMI go.
21:45
Speaker 2: You know when you use your HDMI from your PS5 to the computer.
21:50
Speaker 2: All you had to do is now is plug in your HDMI from the PS5 all the way to the monitor and you'll be able to put it on there.
21:57
Speaker 2: You only really don't need it.
21:58
Speaker 2: I had to get it in like an adapter or a battery server.
22:02
Speaker 1: But that's almost like giving them that computer type feeling too.
22:05
Speaker 2: Right, right, because it wants that curved screen and all that.
22:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean, hey, it is going backwards though.
22:12
Speaker 1: Right, we went from this era where everything was packaged ready to go, and now they want to buy pieces after this because they want to have this type of setup and customization.
22:20
Speaker 1: So I don't know about four grand or that is way too much.
22:24
Speaker 2: Way too much, I think, maybe two grand.
22:27
Speaker 1: Yeah.
22:28
Speaker 2: I ain't doing no more than that.
22:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, and just get built something so that they can just upgrade it later.
22:32
Speaker 2: They don't have to get the top of the line, the fucking funny part is that he asked me like one month before this it's like it's like D house.
22:42
Speaker 1: I thought you always got it player.
22:47
Speaker 2: Exactly Right, Tell me this on your birthday, bro.
22:49
Speaker 2: Right, Like let me know.
22:51
Speaker 2: But you know that's hilarious.
22:53
Speaker 1: But big shout out.
22:54
Speaker 1: Appreciate those nuggets Deep Raymond.
22:56
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Hold on.
22:57
Speaker 1: There we go, you, that's my cousin.
22:59
Speaker 2: Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray.
23:00
Speaker 2: Let me get with him again.
23:02
Speaker 2: Okay, stop.
23:04
Speaker 3: Something to think about.
23:07
Speaker 1: What's good D house.
23:08
Speaker 1: So we got some sports.
23:09
Speaker 1: What was going on in the league?
23:11
Speaker 2: Well, before we go down to it, guys, I got to see the space launch.
23:17
Speaker 1: Oh, the SpaceX one.
23:18
Speaker 2: Yeah.
23:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, that happened in Florida, right.
23:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's down here Yesterday.
23:22
Speaker 2: I'm mistaken.
23:22
Speaker 2: Oh, I bet you could have seen it from here.
23:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, man.
23:26
Speaker 1: Oh, that's what's up.
23:27
Speaker 2: This is for the screen.
23:29
Speaker 1: Oh, that's what's up.
23:30
Speaker 1: Look at that.
23:31
Speaker 2: Fortunately.
23:32
Speaker 2: If you guys haven't seen it, go right ahead and look it up.
23:35
Speaker 2: Space launch yeah, we'll have it in the newsletter.
23:37
Speaker 1: We'll have the link there.
23:38
Speaker 1: That's what's up, but yo, what are they putting up there?
23:41
Speaker 1: They're putting up satellites for the Starlink.
23:45
Speaker 1: You ever heard of that thing, starlink?
23:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so in the cars.
23:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly All the cars are going to get connected to it and it's basically a global Wi-Fi system.
23:54
Speaker 1: Elon is doing something kind of crazy, though.
23:58
Speaker 3: He's got ships right now and airplanes, I believe.
24:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe so.
24:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, so they're going to be in cars.
24:03
Speaker 3: You said D yeah, In cars.
24:05
Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, now that you say that your boy, elon, over here, is already doing his cyber trucks, already in production, Wow yeah there's a couple of prototypes driving around.
24:16
Speaker 3: I see people post on, you know.
24:18
Speaker 1: I don't know what y'all think about it, though I don't know about the look he's going to have to start linking there.
24:22
Speaker 2: That's all I know.
24:26
Speaker 1: Facts.
24:27
Speaker 2: It's all connected, but they're having some issues going on over there.
24:30
Speaker 2: He's already having, I mean, these trucks supposed to have actually my old coworker Danny.
24:34
Speaker 2: He already pre-ordered it.
24:38
Speaker 1: Oh word.
24:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, pre-order your.
24:39
Speaker 2: He had to put $100 now and of course you can make monthly payments if you want, but of course if you don't want it, you get your money back.
24:47
Speaker 1: Correct.
24:47
Speaker 1: Or you sell your spot or something like that.
24:49
Speaker 1: You could do that type of stuff right.
24:51
Speaker 3: Yep what is it coming out?
24:52
Speaker 2: It should be coming out to 2024, if I'm not mistaken.
24:57
Speaker 3: I don't know.
24:58
Speaker 2: Because he was talking about this a while ago.
25:00
Speaker 3: Well, next month, next month, no, next year, next year.
25:03
Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, next year, I don't know.
25:05
Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't like the shape of it.
25:06
Speaker 1: It's kind of like we're really trying to do like what was that movie that Sylvester Stallone played in?
25:11
Speaker 2: The Militian man.
25:12
Speaker 1: The Militian man.
25:13
Speaker 2: That's my shit.
25:14
Speaker 2: That's what I think Elon Musk got his touchless shit idea from.
25:17
Speaker 2: If you really look at the car that Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bolick was freaking driving, if you look at the eyes of that car, it looks just like the eyes of Tesla.
25:29
Speaker 2: I think Elon's a biter bro, Wow.
25:32
Speaker 1: Shit he called.
25:33
Speaker 1: You see that that's the details that we don't be catching, bro.
25:36
Speaker 2: Oh, let me look it up here real quick.
25:37
Speaker 2: We gotta see that the Militian man.
25:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the classic though.
25:42
Speaker 3: Crazy what I heard something about the Cybertruck is you cannot sell it the first year or they will charge you $50,000.
25:51
Speaker 1: What do you mean?
25:52
Speaker 1: I don't get it.
25:55
Speaker 3: You're committed to it for the first year.
25:57
Speaker 3: You can't sell it or anything like that.
25:58
Speaker 1: So you can't.
26:00
Speaker 2: Wow, what you can't sell the car, what you're saying Can't sell the car yeah.
26:04
Speaker 2: No, now look at this here real quick.
26:07
Speaker 2: Now look at the steering wheel.
26:09
Speaker 1: Oh yes, I do remember the steering wheel.
26:11
Speaker 1: Look at the steering wheel.
26:12
Speaker 2: Yes, it's just like it.
26:14
Speaker 2: Yes, so true Just like it on there and then let me see if I can find the mean.
26:21
Speaker 1: The front of the car.
26:22
Speaker 2: The front of the car where it looks like, just to show you exactly what I'm talking about here, Because you're going to be like yo.
26:28
Speaker 2: That is the freaking.
26:29
Speaker 2: You see the steering wheel.
26:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I see it.
26:32
Speaker 2: Let me see my game man.
26:33
Speaker 2: It shows a little bit more in here.
26:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, that movie was a classic though.
26:36
Speaker 2: It is a classic Wesley Snipes there doing his thing.
26:38
Speaker 1: I know man.
26:39
Speaker 1: That's why I like it, though Anything Wesley Snipes said I mean it was a wrap, bro, I'm watching it.
26:45
Speaker 2: But you see how small it is.
26:46
Speaker 2: Just, it just reminds me of that X3, man.
26:48
Speaker 2: When you guys, when anybody gets a chance, look at the front.
26:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was definitely obsessed with this movie too.
26:56
Speaker 2: You must be a good shot out to Elon man.
26:57
Speaker 2: I appreciate you thinking good.
27:01
Speaker 2: Look at the car right there.
27:02
Speaker 2: Look at the front, yeah.
27:03
Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on.
27:04
Speaker 1: He found the spot, he found the spot.
27:06
Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
27:07
Speaker 2: Let's see.
27:09
Speaker 1: Nope, that's a classic, but that one is a classic.
27:11
Speaker 2: Let me see if I can show you the front here real quick.
27:13
Speaker 2: I don't want to hold too much right there.
27:15
Speaker 1: Oh, it looks just like it Like the Model 3.
27:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, like the Model 3.
27:19
Speaker 1: Yeah.
27:20
Speaker 2: That's all right.
27:20
Speaker 2: I mean, it is what it is you can go wrong with what I'm saying Sometimes yo that's the thing about.
27:25
Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't know where people get ideas from.
27:28
Speaker 1: You just got to make sure you respect it when you see it.
27:31
Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying yeah, definitely, definitely.
27:33
Speaker 1: That's what's up, though it is what it is.
27:35
Speaker 2: you know you can't control it.
27:36
Speaker 2: The car looks just like it.
27:37
Speaker 2: Put that onto the and the podcast.
27:40

28:26
Speaker 2: Let me give him a little love and shout out.
28:28
Speaker 1: He just passed what up.
28:29
Speaker 3: What up Karim Abdul Wow 66,300.
28:33
Speaker 3: I don't want to start nothing, but we got to start putting LeBron in the conversation here.
28:39
Speaker 3: You know I get it.
28:40
Speaker 3: Mj's the goat here.
28:42
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah but come on, give this guy some love here.
28:46
Speaker 1: I mean he's still chasing it, man.
28:47
Speaker 1: I'll definitely give it to him, bro I mean what, LeBron?
28:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, Let me help you out.
28:54
Speaker 1: Wow, that's how D-Hustle started the conversation.
28:58
Speaker 3: All right, we got to give him some kind of edge here simply because he's a great player, a great all-around player yes, never gotten in trouble.
29:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's got.
29:09
Speaker 2: This is the image.
29:10
Speaker 3: Not only the image, I mean his bloodline too.
29:12
Speaker 3: He's got two sons that might be better than him.
29:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, what are you talking?
29:17
Speaker 3: about.
29:17
Speaker 3: They're saying the younger one might be better than the one that's in college right now.
29:21
Speaker 3: I mean, give him the edge on that.
29:23
Speaker 3: Jordan, yes, you're the goat, come on, I'm just saying.
29:27
Speaker 1: I think my first reaction when you first said it was to agree with you, raymond.
29:30
Speaker 1: But they still have to prove themselves, bro.
29:32
Speaker 1: Just saying I mean, I don't care who your pops is, you got to put in that same type of work.
29:37
Speaker 1: So I understand it's in their bloodline.
29:40
Speaker 3: Yes, I'm just saying he's got to get the edge a little bit over MJ on that.
29:45
Speaker 3: The guy's never been in trouble, he's still married.
29:47
Speaker 3: But I'm just saying the guy, what's the worst thing you can say about Jordan?
29:52
Speaker 3: I'm waiting.
29:53
Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sorry about LeBron, I'm waiting, what's?
29:55
Speaker 2: the worst thing.
29:56
Speaker 2: Yes.
29:57
Speaker 3: Controversial, whatever.
29:58
Speaker 3: What China?
29:59
Speaker 3: I mean the comments about hey, about the China thing, I mean give me a break.
30:03
Speaker 3: Want me to keep going about Jordan Gamble cheating on his wife divorce.
30:07
Speaker 3: I mean you want me to keep?
30:08
Speaker 1: I'm just saying I feel like sometimes I'm confused now.
30:11
Speaker 2: I mean are you a LeBron fan?
30:12
Speaker 1: No.
30:13
Speaker 3: I'm just saying you got to get the conversation about putting LeBron over the edge there over, mj.
30:19
Speaker 1: I feel like.
30:19
Speaker 1: I feel like Raymond has had some really deep conversations about this.
30:22
Speaker 1: I think he has man.
30:23
Speaker 1: I think he has.
30:23
Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you one thing yes, I'm going to tell you one thing Jordan sells out more than LeBron.
30:27
Speaker 2: I never heard nobody fighting for a pair of LeBron shoes.
30:31
Speaker 3: Ok, that's you know.
30:32
Speaker 3: There's no argument on that.
30:34
Speaker 3: But if you're going to look at it, jordan is always going to have that edge.
30:35
Speaker 3: Jordan was a score yes.
30:38
Speaker 2: A score, a great defender.
30:40
Speaker 2: I think he was back to back championship maybe three times in a row, and there's a lot of people who have done that.
30:45
Speaker 2: And if you really look at it, jordan didn't have nobody on his team.
30:49
Speaker 2: Let's be realistic.
30:50
Speaker 2: Lebron had to look for people to get on his team.
30:53
Speaker 2: Come on, pippin Ross man.
30:54
Speaker 3: He was all right, but when Jordan was there, Pippin was there.
30:57
Speaker 2: Curl was there.
30:57
Speaker 2: What you forgot?
30:59
Speaker 2: Bill Cartwright, which is a nobody.
31:01
Speaker 2: Who else you got?
31:02
Speaker 3: Rodman DJ.
31:03
Speaker 1: Armstrong, he had his time Hort you know, dennis Ron man, you got to give the coast of the props of putting players together.
31:11
Speaker 1: I think, I think he definitely, in my opinion, is one thing is loyalty for nobody says LeBron was in Cleveland seven years and doing the fucking championship.
31:19
Speaker 2: When nobody says that seven years hard working put in work.
31:23
Speaker 2: You have nobody in his team.
31:24
Speaker 2: No that's when we have to look converse with him and Jordan right there.
31:29
Speaker 2: What happened?
31:30
Speaker 2: You went to Miami, Wade Bosch.
31:34
Speaker 1: It was a wrap.
31:36
Speaker 2: Come on, let's be realistic Jordan and they have nobody I mean he has pippin.
31:40
Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong.
31:40
Speaker 1: He had a great coach At the end of the day was a great coach.
31:43
Speaker 1: Phil Jackson was definitely a fine.
31:48
Speaker 2: But, yes, LeBron is a good all around player.
31:51
Speaker 2: He's there.
31:51
Speaker 2: He's been in the game for way too long.
31:54
Speaker 2: I think he should be tired.
31:54
Speaker 2: But if he wants to make more history because if you're looking at, is he just breaking records or is he playing basketball he's still playing at high level, high level.
32:04
Speaker 2: Is he scoring 30 plus?
32:05
Speaker 2: I mean he's not scoring 30 plus, so why are we giving this guy so much money for not to be scoring 30 plus Wow.
32:13
Speaker 1: Do you also sounds like you've had some really good conversations about this, definitely.
32:18
Speaker 2: I have no problem with LeBron.
32:19
Speaker 1: I'm a great player.
32:21
Speaker 2: But is everybody just jumping the bad wagon?
32:25
Speaker 1: Well, I mean perfect, perfect example.
32:27
Speaker 2: There's a kid that came out of high school.
32:29
Speaker 2: Then you had a guy that worked really hard.
32:32
Speaker 2: Perfect example Carmelo.
32:34
Speaker 1: Oh, he's taking it back to the garden.
32:37
Speaker 1: I mean no, when.
32:39
Speaker 2: Denver, Denver, nuggets, when, when look when how you call it when Mello came out, second draft, because you know he was number one, syracuse one championship, right For sure.
32:49
Speaker 2: The Browning win.
32:50
Speaker 2: No championship to get in there.
32:51
Speaker 2: So what he's got to do is he's got to go improve why he was there.
32:55
Speaker 2: In Denver Nuggets, mello was doing points, but everybody was on the bat, nothing wrong.
32:59
Speaker 2: I thought he was going to be almost as close as Kobe, but you know my man has height yeah he's built can take that away.
33:07
Speaker 2: The guy's a solid guy, good guy, good player.
33:09
Speaker 2: But it is what it is, man.
33:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, I can go on and on with this I can see that I mean people have retired.
33:14
Speaker 3: That came out the same class with LeBron and he's still playing going.
33:20
Speaker 3: Wade, carmelo, they're all gone.
33:22
Speaker 3: They're all gone.
33:23
Speaker 3: I mean, it's definitely amazing what he's doing.
33:26
Speaker 1: The man's a freaking nature and I mean, that's why he's going to catch up to these numbers and then, you know, basically set his mark in terms of time wise, I think he need to get to this level of playing.
33:36
Speaker 2: I think he should go to my next, because I'm next.
33:39
Speaker 1: Not for real.
33:40
Speaker 1: If you look at my.
33:41
Speaker 1: No, if you look at my.
33:41
Speaker 1: I told you to get back to the garden.
33:43
Speaker 2: No, if you look at history, then there's got a habit of drafting or getting basketball players that were really really good after they've been hurt and think that they're going to do something in the garden.
33:55
Speaker 2: No if you're going to spend all that money on the player like that, bring LeBron over.
34:00
Speaker 2: If he's not going to give me freaking 30, I'll take his 25.
34:03
Speaker 2: And we can make something happen.
34:04
Speaker 2: I mean shit, the garden needs something.
34:06
Speaker 2: We lost Zion Williams because I mean this stupid draft.
34:10
Speaker 1: I think this this year.
34:11
Speaker 3: Nick's occurs.
34:12
Speaker 3: Nick's occurs, it is stolen.
34:14
Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you that right now, james Dolan, well, I think.
34:18
Speaker 1: I think it's not just basketball that y'all have challenges this year, so I definitely want to send all all the hope and support to one last New York Beyond.
34:28
Speaker 3: Yes, I don't blame Jordan for this, but come on man, he's got to get something with his son and the Pippin thing.
34:33
Speaker 3: Come on, man.
34:34
Speaker 2: Oh man, that's the story.
34:35
Speaker 2: Come on, Do you invite?
34:37
Speaker 3: Pippin over to the wedding.
34:38
Speaker 3: That is just foul, come on.
34:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, but you got to give me clarity.
34:42
Speaker 1: So what's?
34:43
Speaker 1: What's the story All?
34:44
Speaker 2: right, so you know Jordan and.
34:46
Speaker 1: Pippin yeah.
34:47
Speaker 2: Of course.
34:47
Speaker 2: So Pippin was married to a beautiful young lady.
34:51
Speaker 1: Mm, hmm.
34:53
Speaker 2: Long story, short guess who decided to have relationships with Pippin's ex-wife, Marcus Jordan, his son.
35:01
Speaker 1: Jordan's son.
35:01
Speaker 1: Wow, as a father, I would have been like yo.
35:05
Speaker 2: Son, that's my one of my best friends, we have history.
35:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't do this, yeah.
35:10
Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on, bro, I still.
35:13
Speaker 2: He's still going to have the wedding.
35:14
Speaker 2: Oh so, so they get married, they get married, they get married.
35:16
Speaker 2: That's what I said.
35:18
Speaker 2: Are they going to invite Pippin to the wedding?
35:19
Speaker 2: I don't know.
35:20
Speaker 2: I don't know how.
35:22
Speaker 1: How?
35:22
Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, yeah, I don't think Pippin's coming though.
35:26
Speaker 2: You don't think so I feel bad for the man.
35:29
Speaker 1: I don't mean to laugh, but no, I don't see him going.
35:32
Speaker 2: I love Jordan, he should give him a butt whipping bro.
35:34
Speaker 3: So I'm saying these are things that you got to put LeBron over there.
35:38
Speaker 2: I'm just saying Wow, you see, this is life man, we're talking about the game.
35:43
Speaker 1: Man, I'm just saying these things like this.
35:45
Speaker 3: You got to put LeBron above.
35:47
Speaker 2: Ah come on this is life I want to say LeBron is above now.
35:51
Speaker 2: Do you think LeBron is above because of social media?
35:53
Speaker 3: I made a school.
35:54
Speaker 2: Because of social, because Jordan never has social media.
35:57
Speaker 3: I think times could be different.
35:58
Speaker 3: We all know the bad stuff that Jordan did.
36:00
Speaker 3: He's a gambler.
36:01
Speaker 3: No gambler, Definitely.
36:03
Speaker 2: But Charles Barkley's a gambler.
36:06
Speaker 3: Yes, but come on, what about the whole myth that Jordan was suspended for gambling and all the stuff he had with the mafia and all that?
36:14
Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, you know OK.
36:16
Speaker 2: I hear you just saying at the end of the day I'm going to keep going.
36:19
Speaker 2: Jordan put on work.
36:20
Speaker 2: Yes, jordan has championships.
36:23
Speaker 1: Facts.
36:23
Speaker 1: That's why I said this is the game.
36:24
Speaker 1: We're talking about the game.
36:26
Speaker 2: If he's reaching for a championship, why is he not getting into Jordan's level?
36:30
Speaker 3: What do you mean?
36:32
Speaker 2: Why he's not making all these championships, why he's not doing all he's doing is putting numbers up.
36:36
Speaker 3: Guys been the 10 champions, I mean 10 finals, I mean and how many championships has he won?
36:40
Speaker 3: Ok, I mean how many championships?
36:43
Speaker 3: How many of those players in the calves and he dragged those skeletons to the finals.
36:48
Speaker 3: Can you name any of those skeletons that he was dragging with him?
36:51
Speaker 3: Kevin Love, that's it.
36:52
Speaker 3: Kyrie, kyrie, no, oh, kyrie, oh, oh, oh, oh, that's all, what do you mean?
36:56
Speaker 3: That's all I'm talking about before Kyrie got there when he was going with the dragging all those skeletons to the finals, when he goes with the calves.
37:04
Speaker 2: He had RJ Ryder.
37:07
Speaker 3: RJ.
37:07
Speaker 2: Smith.
