Reds Call Up Fast-Rising Jorge | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds are calling up 22-year-old outfielder Carlos Jorge, their top-16 prospect, who’s crushing it in the minors with a .308 average, 8 homers, 43 RBIs, and 33 stolen bases. Signed for nearly half a million from the Dominican Republic, he’s got speed, power, and versatility—playing all three outfield spots and even second base. After dominating Double-A and Triple-A, Jorge’s big league debut is here, and the Reds are banking on him to inject energy and production into their lineup.
