- 3:13Speaker 1: They replaced Candy Topia, so it was dope. I had
- 3:15Speaker 1: the whole squad out. I saw you a little frustrated
- 3:18Speaker 1: on the ground this week. Popeye's man, you know, if
- 3:23Speaker 1: you're gonna rerelease the damn chicken sounds, my nigger at
- 3:25Speaker 1: least have ample amount A chicken sandwich is my nigga.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't understand why, and you don't keep in mind
- 3:32Speaker 1: before y'all try to get on me, I was doing
- 3:34Speaker 1: it for my sixty or if you're a parent, if
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're not a parent, fu you your parents and I
- 3:44Speaker 1: want them. You know, I'm just saying that said that. No,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I was just saying that trying to get on me.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I want to get my daughter a goddamn chicken sound
- 3:52Speaker 1: because she asked me to get her chicken sound. Okay,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I get there. The whole situation was all fucked up
- 3:57Speaker 1: because the goddamn just to get into the Pope Pies.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's damn line to get into the Popeyes. All right,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna compare Chicken file. I'm gonna keep this
- 4:06Speaker 1: quick because we got ship to do. But we waited
- 4:09Speaker 1: forty seven minutes speak your truth for some chicken and
- 4:12Speaker 1: sip ain't even busting like that. You're like, I'm just
- 4:15Speaker 1: frustrated because I'm over here like damn bro like and
- 4:17Speaker 1: then you know what I'm saying, You got to go
- 4:18Speaker 1: find a damn employee just the order because like, like
- 4:22Speaker 1: we gotta figure that out. Not that good like cool,
- 4:27Speaker 1: it's they keep up with the demand, Like y'all really
- 4:30Speaker 1: need to go take a course from Chick fil a,
- 4:32Speaker 1: like they need some customers. People say hi to you outside,
- 4:37Speaker 1: like yeah, it's cool, it's pleasant. They were nice. They
- 4:41Speaker 1: were supposed to hire more people. First of all, they
- 4:43Speaker 1: make more chicken than there are chickens, so how can't
- 4:47Speaker 1: they have the chicken. Don't don't get me started on that.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Get all these chicken they got their breasts every day
- 4:53Speaker 1: all day. I ain't seen that they ran out of chicken. Uh.
- 4:58Speaker 1: We waited around forty five minutes into it, they told
- 5:01Speaker 1: everybody that was in the store, we're out of chicken sandwiches.
- 5:05Speaker 1: That's crazy, that's all. I think. It's all the publicity stunt.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's so yeah, that's that's That's a that's an issue
- 5:11Speaker 1: for me. I mean, I would love you order own
- 5:13Speaker 1: app or something like that. I would like to con
- 5:15Speaker 1: seue to support Popeyes. I think they're enjoying the conversation
- 5:18Speaker 1: that's happening around it, like why are why are not
- 5:20Speaker 1: doing better? Why are not doing this? Because it's still
- 5:22Speaker 1: enticing wars. There was an actual video made. I forgot
- 5:26Speaker 1: who posted the show how to make the Popeye's with
- 5:31Speaker 1: the ingredients that they used. Put put a little boozy
- 5:35Speaker 1: video on the screen with one bite left that chicken sandwich.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It ain't worth it. I got trying some good sandwich
- 5:43Speaker 1: is just it's not worth I'd rather have a chick sandwich.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's not worth forty minutes, alright, chicklover Pope and getting
- 5:51Speaker 1: blender throw did you work work? But you know it
- 5:55Speaker 1: was all about a little rar Man was like a
- 5:56Speaker 1: bigger something happening, Like there's a complete people doing more.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I hear these streets, alright, pay the niggas words were.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Lady was my birthday on thirds and had the biggest
- 6:07Speaker 1: Halloween Parker Atlanta has ever seen that. I want to
- 6:11Speaker 1: say thank you uh to everybody. So I wanted to
- 6:14Speaker 1: just put this video on the screen. Put the video
- 6:16Speaker 1: screen too ludicrous Surprise he came up as Ron Bergundy. Yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I saw what he had on and I didn't know
- 6:22Speaker 1: who it was, so I'm looking like that and then
- 6:25Speaker 1: the beat dropped and I was like, oh, ships Like
- 6:28Speaker 1: I jumped up like this like five times like a
- 6:30Speaker 1: little kid. It was great feeling. And you know it's
- 6:33Speaker 1: crazy because it's like you hired people, right. So we
- 6:35Speaker 1: knew BBD was gonna be there. We knew Silk was
- 6:37Speaker 1: gonna be there, but to have Ludicrous reformed Tip and
- 6:40Speaker 1: then Tiny we played the skate records when she went on,
- 6:42Speaker 1: so everybody went nuts. We gotta get escape. She sung
- 6:46Speaker 1: like a few little she didn't go in and because
- 6:50Speaker 1: you know, she wasn't saying lead on that song. I think,
- 6:52Speaker 1: but I had we have to bring escape. How you
- 6:57Speaker 1: can tell stage she performs to day. I didn't see
- 7:01Speaker 1: he perform Saturday, and he he perform thought the Bones
- 7:04Speaker 1: and he before move bitch, get out the way. Yeah
- 7:06Speaker 1: he did. You could have saw that on this he
- 7:09Speaker 1: was definitely there. There's no way you don't come and
- 7:13Speaker 1: make your way to see me. I don't understand you
- 7:16Speaker 1: understand what on the floor because the pedestrian section aren't there.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I know your party, I've been to your party, but
- 7:22Speaker 1: you weren't there. But let me say, I don't think
- 7:28Speaker 1: Kenny knows what the floor is like because he don't
- 7:30Speaker 1: be down there. Then, and then if he does go
- 7:33Speaker 1: down there, obviously people are getting out the way or
- 7:36Speaker 1: our security. Let's talk about how they charged me. They
- 7:38Speaker 1: try to tell me a hundred dollars apart. They tried
- 7:40Speaker 1: me a hundred dollars apart. And I said, listen, mother's
- 7:42Speaker 1: gonna be here with thirty minutes going to see him
- 7:44Speaker 1: a bid dolls. Then I got I walked. I gotta
- 7:46Speaker 1: go walk. I know part twenty dollars and walk a
- 7:48Speaker 1: whole block. Okay, that got me fucked up about that,
- 7:53Speaker 1: bitch man, My bad. I'm just I'm all out of here.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You should have let me know how to make sure
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know you was already hosted and he was fact
- 8:00Speaker 1: did not no, no, he he was already hosting. Because
- 8:04Speaker 1: I heard you from outside. I was like, I'm not
- 8:05Speaker 1: gonna bother you. I don't want nobody bothering me. Well,
- 8:08Speaker 1: thank you for all the love. And Ferrari and I
- 8:10Speaker 1: didn't know. I didn't see him, but if he says yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and he said, I retweeted, and I can't go back.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I have to go back. But it was incredible getting
- 8:18Speaker 1: in Saturday, I did a bus trip up to my distillery.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Uh yeah, uncle Near's distillery. It was so dope, so crazy.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But I do want to say this. When we got
- 8:27Speaker 1: the bus first, you know, ambouge as a motherfucker and
- 8:31Speaker 1: I have to have everything pristine, Chris, and to the point,
- 8:35Speaker 1: this bus pulls up right now, mind you, and I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: going through the options for the bus for my people
- 8:41Speaker 1: right like, I'm like, okay, co I need space because
- 8:43Speaker 1: you know, thirty some people. You know what I'm saying,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I want people all like you know, and so I
- 8:46Speaker 1: didn't get the regular side by side, I see the joint.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I got a bus like a tour charter, exactly a
- 8:52Speaker 1: charter tour bus. It said, it's seated fifty. Rio said
- 8:56Speaker 1: that ship set absolutely coming. We see. Let's not even
- 9:01Speaker 1: talk about to see. Let's talk about the bullet holes
- 9:03Speaker 1: in the side, the one I'll tie. Listen, I'm telling you,
- 9:11Speaker 1: when Jesus there and I'm like ready to go eight
- 9:17Speaker 1: in the morning and it's my pulls and I'm just
- 9:20Speaker 1: like how sway and everybody knew. I was so pissed,
- 9:24Speaker 1: so you did not get to see it prior to
- 9:27Speaker 1: but it was all smoking mirrors, all smoking mirrors, was
- 9:30Speaker 1: even photos of the same bus. It was pictures of
- 9:33Speaker 1: the inside of the bus. But it had to be
- 9:34Speaker 1: like when it was brand new, first done. I'm talking
- 9:37Speaker 1: about this joint head and it wasn't that bad after all.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And for my friends that were like Kenny, thank you
- 9:44Speaker 1: for the explication. I invite. Everybody took care of everything.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But at the same time, it was like, no, I
- 9:49Speaker 1: don't want to ride like this, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I didn't get to use the trip poll. Okay, now
- 9:53Speaker 1: that time a one time for the legend Angie Mark
- 10:00Speaker 1: teenage y'all. She was in a severe car accident, um,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and she is recovering andree you are necessary baby, get
- 10:07Speaker 1: well soon. Um. And I don't know if you got
- 10:10Speaker 1: a chance to solo. And I don't want your close
- 10:12Speaker 1: years or I think I gotta walk out. But Ghost
- 10:15Speaker 1: has been shot, okay, but started just went for it.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I'm just saying Ghost has been shot, not culled, and
- 10:28Speaker 1: we don't know, yeah exactly, and there's five episodes left.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Where do we go from here? Now? I do like
- 10:38Speaker 1: the way that they got the characters all in position,
- 10:40Speaker 1: because the whole show was kind of irritating, and I'm
- 10:42Speaker 1: gonna tell you what I was mid season. I think,
- 10:45Speaker 1: in my personal opinion, I just felt like the episode
- 10:48Speaker 1: Priority that was more better than this one man. The
- 10:51Speaker 1: fact that they had him go throughout the show no
- 10:54Speaker 1: one can stop me. He said, nobody's gonna stop me
- 10:58Speaker 1: four hundred sixty times, you know what I mean. And
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so it's too much. Somebody's about kill him. Somebody.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It almost said you knew, you already knew, and then
- 11:08Speaker 1: you had Look, I don't know what I want to
- 11:09Speaker 1: say this. They had each of the potential people people
- 11:13Speaker 1: who killed him walking the club, and I'm like, y'all
- 11:16Speaker 1: ain't run into each other, Like how y'all ain't see
- 11:18Speaker 1: each exactly? And nobody walked to the club like. So
- 11:23Speaker 1: you had Tasha Tarik Sex Counciman, Tate, Sex is an idiot,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Angel Valdez his sister. He's obsessed. And then you had
- 11:35Speaker 1: the police lady coming up because she heard the gun.
- 11:40Speaker 1: She was actually coming to serve the warm because that's
- 11:42Speaker 1: what got Dre out of jail because he was so
- 11:45Speaker 1: we got six players um set up to kill him.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Who do you think it was? I mean, the thing
- 11:51Speaker 1: is everybody has a motive, so it's really hard to
- 11:54Speaker 1: say everyone has a motive. Sex has motive. When he
- 11:58Speaker 1: was talking to Tate and before he did the party
- 12:01Speaker 1: for receiving the Lieutenant governor nod from the lady, Yo, governor,
- 12:08Speaker 1: take his eyes, Loren's take killed me. He was looking
- 12:12Speaker 1: like I thought he was going to just yeah, you
- 12:17Speaker 1: get used to losing. Yeah, he was killing but he
- 12:19Speaker 1: was talking to everybody like that, like, yeah, I made it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It's like, no, you're not there yettually the Tommy Tommy
- 12:26Speaker 1: was like, so I ain't got nothing right. He was like, yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm done with you really coming? Like, who's shooting him
- 12:36Speaker 1: at the door? You didn't see it? Who's shooting him
- 12:38Speaker 1: at the dog? I'm confused? And they found a black
- 12:41Speaker 1: man then like who maybe his boyfriend? People? Yeah, maybe
- 12:46Speaker 1: I don't know because he's saying protector he found the
- 12:48Speaker 1: bruises on her, like he knows that it came from go.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So everybody has motives. Ship. I did not like. Also,
- 12:57Speaker 1: how Stars promos kept coming en up doing the show.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Did y'all see that? All throughout the show? They kept saying,
- 13:03Speaker 1: and you need to order Stars because they're trying to
- 13:06Speaker 1: take it out you're bundling. If you don't, you might
- 13:07Speaker 1: not be able to see the last five episodes. Did
- 13:10Speaker 1: you not see that the entire show? I'm not the
- 13:16Speaker 1: entire so the entire commercial whatever the comments, yea, they
- 13:21Speaker 1: just kept saying, like because Comcast is taking it out
- 13:23Speaker 1: out of the bundle. Yeah yeah, Lord Jesus um. Speaking
- 13:26Speaker 1: of the Amazon Prime, Kanye West said last week, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: I think we overlooked this. I mean I think we
- 13:33Speaker 1: touched on a little bit, you know. Ever, But I
- 13:40Speaker 1: think I think what's got lost is when he said
- 13:42Speaker 1: we are culture list and he's catching a lot of
- 13:46Speaker 1: flock for that. But see again, I knew when he meant.
- 13:50Speaker 1: He just explained it very badly, horribly way to say it.
- 13:56Speaker 1: We are called we do have cultures. But what he's
- 13:58Speaker 1: saying is, okay, we'll correct me. So let's figure out,
- 14:02Speaker 1: like what is culture, But what's your definition of culture?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Definition of culture is for example, like good question, our
- 14:09Speaker 1: black race are things that we do that we create
- 14:13Speaker 1: our heritage, our heritage like just things that we are
- 14:16Speaker 1: naturally give to that things that we have like salts.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You got to be like specific though, because it's a
- 14:25Speaker 1: swagger that you know, African American people have that is unexplained.
- 14:31Speaker 1: It is unequivocally uh transpired into other races. I can't
- 14:35Speaker 1: explain it, just the way that we fucking walk. Okay.
- 14:39Speaker 1: So I think the reason why Kanye said that is
- 14:42Speaker 1: because we're saying that culture is like our swag, right,
- 14:45Speaker 1: But that's really not what culture is like. And that
- 14:51Speaker 1: that's why I don't have a problem at all, he said.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So for me, like if I'm saying, like Ethiopian culture. Right,
- 14:57Speaker 1: it's culture for me to greet everybody in a room,
- 15:00Speaker 1: look everybody in the eye, take my shoes off when
- 15:02Speaker 1: I come to your house, offer you something when you
- 15:04Speaker 1: come to mind, Like this is like it's tradition, like,
- 15:07Speaker 1: it's it's who we are as a people. It's not
- 15:08Speaker 1: about it's not about our swag, it's not about it's
- 15:14Speaker 1: not about that. I think black people are so the
- 15:17Speaker 1: majority of black people are so into the material which
- 15:19Speaker 1: we know, we know that we gotta thank you very much.
- 15:22Speaker 1: We are. So it's the material which was put on
- 15:25Speaker 1: by culture voters, is what he was saying. Right, But
- 15:28Speaker 1: I think we've we've lost like what is culture Like
- 15:32Speaker 1: it's with your friends. They capitalize off of it. But
- 15:38Speaker 1: I think that you said your heritage though, because I'm Caribbean,
- 15:41Speaker 1: then if I'm saying that Caribbean and in certain ways
- 15:44Speaker 1: that we do, I said, I think culture is kind
- 15:46Speaker 1: of like, um, I mean my definition is kind of like,
- 15:52Speaker 1: for example, hip hop, right, I mean that's a culture
- 15:57Speaker 1: to me. So, you know, white people, I'm not trying
- 16:01Speaker 1: to sound racist, but they kind of just started to
- 16:03Speaker 1: really understand how to wrap like us. Because I wouldn't
- 16:09Speaker 1: say that. Before all, all they had was who eminem No.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I was beast Boy. I mean, the first one to
- 16:16Speaker 1: take it and put it on a pedestal, like, look
- 16:19Speaker 1: at this, this is what you should be doing, This
- 16:20Speaker 1: is how you should be, you know, moving and acting.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They just took what we were doing anyway in our
- 16:25Speaker 1: everyday life and just you know, broadcasted it. But you
- 16:29Speaker 1: can't say they want to part. They've been a part
- 16:31Speaker 1: of hip hop since the start. I mean they've they
- 16:32Speaker 1: have been executives. I mean, obviously we have to go
- 16:36Speaker 1: through some type of gate keeping process to even get
- 16:38Speaker 1: our music heard. But I'm not wet genre here. Let
- 16:43Speaker 1: me give you. Let me give you the definition of
- 16:45Speaker 1: culture and then we can I mean have valid points
- 16:47Speaker 1: um the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement
- 16:51Speaker 1: regarded collectively, right, And then the other is the customs
- 16:55Speaker 1: are social institutions and achievements of a particular nation, people
- 17:01Speaker 1: or other social Caribbean culture hip hop culture. I mean,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I think so we're all saying is right to a
- 17:08Speaker 1: certain extent. But I think that if you really want
- 17:10Speaker 1: to define culture, it has to be heritage where you
- 17:15Speaker 1: come from, Like you were saying, like taught certain things
- 17:18Speaker 1: and that's what you practice and that's what you preach.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And I think for yea, again, like ROBERI said, he
- 17:24Speaker 1: just jumps out there and says it and then't really
- 17:27Speaker 1: give you, like, like an explanation what I wanted. I
- 17:29Speaker 1: would like to know his definition of what he meant.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But his definition is. His definition is that the culture
- 17:34Speaker 1: we created as black people has been basically taken from us.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We don't own any of it right and owned basically well,
- 17:44Speaker 1: but we give it away too though we give a
- 17:46Speaker 1: lot of stuff away. Like there are a lot of
- 17:49Speaker 1: exacts that are let's talk about music specifically, They'll say
- 17:52Speaker 1: I want a soul a singer, and they will strategically
- 17:55Speaker 1: go look for a white girl or a white guy
- 17:56Speaker 1: because it's more attractive that a white person is able
- 17:59Speaker 1: to sing, Like that was going to a black person
- 18:01Speaker 1: that that really seems like. They'll go to that black
- 18:03Speaker 1: person and pay them and then create them the way
- 18:06Speaker 1: that they wanted to be done and say this is
- 18:09Speaker 1: what it is and everybody. A lot of people start
- 18:11Speaker 1: believing it because they have the money to get it everywhere. Okay.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Another example is, uh, hopefully we can find this video.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Put the video on the screen of the young Caucasian
- 18:22Speaker 1: guy because I hate saying white people because that just
- 18:25Speaker 1: makes me feel weird. It's just because it's so you
- 18:29Speaker 1: put the young white boy on the screen. He's doing
- 18:31Speaker 1: all these little dance moves and he gets paid for that.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I know some little black boys that got way better
- 18:39Speaker 1: moves and that that he's emulating, that don't get paid
- 18:43Speaker 1: for nothing. That he didn't come up with those moves
- 18:50Speaker 1: because that you know, a lot of these dances, I
- 18:52Speaker 1: know the little kids that went to high school because
- 18:54Speaker 1: a lot of these dances that are out these dances
- 18:57Speaker 1: are created in Atlanta. Let's put that out there. But
- 19:00Speaker 1: from from the beginning of history, we've been the creative
- 19:04Speaker 1: they're not. Yeah, but but that also has to do
- 19:07Speaker 1: with your parents and your community and your people teaching
- 19:11Speaker 1: you how to effectively go after and be business minded.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I mean, if you look at a lot of these kids,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I mean TikTok for instance. I'm gonna get to something
- 19:19Speaker 1: about TikTok momentarily, but like or when the vine started,
- 19:26Speaker 1: that all the kids. But the point, the point I'm
- 19:28Speaker 1: trying to make it is as hot as hot a
- 19:30Speaker 1: matter of fact, all of social media allow a lot
- 19:33Speaker 1: of different people to make money and monetize. It's who
- 19:36Speaker 1: did what in the way that everybody has the same
- 19:39Speaker 1: opportunity to do that though I think your parents can
- 19:41Speaker 1: teach you the right way. Your parents can teach you
- 19:43Speaker 1: how to be an entrepreneur and how to deal with whatever.
- 19:46Speaker 1: But it's a fact that black people deal with different
- 19:49Speaker 1: hurdles than a lot of that's question. But that has
- 19:54Speaker 1: nothing to do with opportunity. All of us get up
- 19:56Speaker 1: every day with the same not not not this guy
- 20:00Speaker 1: that is getting paid and these kids who are in
- 20:02Speaker 1: the hood that I don't even know people that can
- 20:05Speaker 1: get them a check because they're creating a dance movie.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You No, I mean so that that that's social economicus
- 20:10Speaker 1: that that's a whole different thing. Like I grew up
- 20:13Speaker 1: in the hood, you grew up in the hood. We
- 20:15Speaker 1: all figured out one day in our lives that we
- 20:17Speaker 1: could go this way instead of that way. It's a
- 20:19Speaker 1: choice at a certain point. And what I'm saying is
- 20:21Speaker 1: because of social media, it is a choice. You don't
- 20:24Speaker 1: have to stay broke. Un realized that later or sooner
- 20:28Speaker 1: at different times. Yeah, exactly, And it's I mean, I
- 20:30Speaker 1: didn't really realize my super powers to my thirties, you
- 20:33Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But at the same time, I
- 20:35Speaker 1: think it's you know the person, right, kids your point,
- 20:40Speaker 1: kids don't have the where with all to be business minded.
- 20:42Speaker 1: This that in the third You're right, a white person
- 20:45Speaker 1: might get looked at like quicker, Oh, that's more impressive
- 20:47Speaker 1: because it's a white person. Or this black kid is
- 20:50Speaker 1: so cute. Oh my god, we've seen black kids, I mean,
- 20:53Speaker 1: were looking at you. You watch Ellen. Ellen is forever putting.
- 20:58Speaker 1: But to my point, I think not to get lost
- 21:00Speaker 1: in what culture is. But that's a whole another conversation.
- 21:03Speaker 1: But I think culturally we do giveaway things too much.
- 21:07Speaker 1: We don't monetize like we should because it's so naturally
- 21:11Speaker 1: innate in us. And I want to go back to
- 21:13Speaker 1: the cultural piece, because to your point, we do start everything,
- 21:17Speaker 1: I mean rock and roll music, I think in the country.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I mean even learning about Uncle Nearus and how the
- 21:24Speaker 1: chocolate melon process was an African process. He brought with
- 21:27Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, his family, brother with them
- 21:30Speaker 1: running and come with me. But when they came to
- 21:31Speaker 1: the States, that was a process from Africa. So I
- 21:34Speaker 1: think culture and what is culture has to go back
- 21:38Speaker 1: to our roots, our origin, and to be fully immersed
- 21:43Speaker 1: in knowing about your culture, you gotta show respect. Like
- 21:46Speaker 1: Sue was saying, I was taught to greet everybody in
- 21:48Speaker 1: the room. I take my shoes off when I enter
- 21:50Speaker 1: somebody's else. These cultural things are the most important things,
- 21:55Speaker 1: not the cultures we create. Culture, there's so many in
- 22:00Speaker 1: America is such a melting pod because you have people
- 22:02Speaker 1: from all walks of life that of you know, black,
- 22:06Speaker 1: different types of black people that you're come in. And
- 22:09Speaker 1: then that we create a whole another culture because it's
- 22:12Speaker 1: different in America versus in Africa or somewhere like that.
- 22:15Speaker 1: So you know, and stakes too, like different states is different. Yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: So I think, like you know, and a lot of people,
- 22:22Speaker 1: a lot of the early on black people they did
- 22:25Speaker 1: sell their their culture to the white people. But then
- 22:28Speaker 1: you have peoples each other. But then you had people like, uh,
- 22:33Speaker 1: what's the soul trying guy name Don Cornelius who created
- 22:36Speaker 1: his own platform and refused to sell it. You know
- 22:40Speaker 1: that that was crazy. You know black people were Africa
- 22:44Speaker 1: and that was crazy. But that's what I'm saying. We
- 22:46Speaker 1: do things to ourselves. We gotta we have to get
- 22:49Speaker 1: back to our culture and our ways of life and
- 22:52Speaker 1: our ways of thinking to have culture. You know what
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm saying. We've got to pais too, because we don't
- 22:59Speaker 1: have very many much patience nowadays. You know, everybody is
- 23:03Speaker 1: so quick good, so we don't even want to study
- 23:05Speaker 1: where we come from. Well, on Friday, y'all, Solange put
- 23:10Speaker 1: out there and she divorced, sorry, leaving her her husband. Y'all.
- 23:14Speaker 1: You know, my twin put the thing on side by side.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Everybody man like, I don't look like that motherfucker. She
- 23:19Speaker 1: also took the Instagram to open up about her recent
- 23:21Speaker 1: and physical spiritual transition. What does the transition part of me? Guys?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Do you know what? I have? No idea, idea, I
- 23:30Speaker 1: guess transitioning from being a wife to singles. She said
- 23:33Speaker 1: she was like, you know her, she was fighting her
- 23:36Speaker 1: biggest battle, which was fear. Um, but fear. We're all
- 23:40Speaker 1: trying to figure out fear from what I mean, clearly
- 23:42Speaker 1: you're not in your relationship anymore, so you said there
- 23:44Speaker 1: was nothing to tell us more. Yeah, what's the fear? Like?
- 23:48Speaker 1: The fear fear of what I mean? For me? I
- 23:50Speaker 1: think it kind of reflects in her music, like she
- 23:52Speaker 1: talks about cultural things like that happened or things that
- 23:56Speaker 1: she's experienced. I think I think that's a part of
- 23:59Speaker 1: what she's fearful of, not knowing, you know, what this
- 24:02Speaker 1: world is, like, how what's going to happen to her
- 24:04Speaker 1: son as as he grows? Like those are real things
- 24:07Speaker 1: to be fearful of. Um. But the internet went crazy
- 24:11Speaker 1: though some shet this white man and that's not even
- 24:13Speaker 1: her man manager or something. But you know her husband
- 24:17Speaker 1: was also like fifty or something like that. Mature is good. Um.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I just think she I think she was at a
- 24:32Speaker 1: like when that album came out, Um, I think what
- 24:35Speaker 1: we what I what I feel like I took from
- 24:37Speaker 1: her at that time was she was becoming right, like
- 24:41Speaker 1: like she's in this space where she feels comfortable saying
- 24:43Speaker 1: what she was saying because we really hadn't heard a
- 24:46Speaker 1: lot from Solange like that, right. And I think her
- 24:49Speaker 1: husband at the time was good for her at that time,
- 24:52Speaker 1: like he was somebody that is more than likely really
- 24:56Speaker 1: wise and mature and was able to connect with her
- 24:58Speaker 1: on on that level. Like Okay, let's talk about politics.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Let's let's talk about the world. Let's talk about culture,
- 25:04Speaker 1: and I don't know. Maybe maybe the fucking will just
- 25:07Speaker 1: ran dry. I don't know. So you don't think another
- 25:10Speaker 1: woman's involved? Oh? Just curious our ladies and gentlemen. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: doubt it, you know, y'all just don't know how to
- 25:17Speaker 1: add screw screw? Wait wait wait wait wait wait before
- 25:19Speaker 1: we go to All Set, bring that home? I said,
- 25:22Speaker 1: don't know how to add you That means what try
- 25:26Speaker 1: something else? No? No, no, no, no no. I mean
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'm learning more and more about my little sister daily.
- 25:31Speaker 1: How many? How many times? Can somebody just be patient? Like?
- 25:34Speaker 1: What do you mean? He he's probably if a woman
- 25:36Speaker 1: was involved, I'm sure it was more than one. I
- 25:39Speaker 1: don't I don't know if she left because of one woman.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't know if because the woman at all. Just
- 25:42Speaker 1: make sure we don't know anything, right, But if it
- 25:46Speaker 1: wasn't woman, it probably wasn't the first time. I mean, listen,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's only so many times you can keep playing. All
- 25:53Speaker 1: Set has a new TV show, y'all call with All
- 25:56Speaker 1: Set that is so cool. That is really dope. I
- 26:02Speaker 1: just think that the name of the album is called culture.
- 26:06Speaker 1: It's exactly it's just so like amazing, know how the
- 26:09Speaker 1: opportunities come and then you can either go this way
- 26:13Speaker 1: or you go this way, because you know, he brought
- 26:14Speaker 1: into that that video game company I forgot the name
- 26:18Speaker 1: of that. He also obviously his wife is the biggest
- 26:21Speaker 1: star on the planet right there. And now he has
- 26:23Speaker 1: a TV show with cars, which we all know he loves. That.
- 26:28Speaker 1: He almost died and actually that so he is blessed.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Also wishing the greatest shooter in NBA history of speedy recovery,
- 26:37Speaker 1: Steph Curry broke his hand hand Damn it was non
- 26:40Speaker 1: shooting hand. But but I think that's a good three
- 26:43Speaker 1: months out. I'm gonna tell you why. I think that's
- 26:45Speaker 1: a good thing. And I think he should stay out
- 26:46Speaker 1: the whole season. And I think that, yeah, because your boys,
- 26:49Speaker 1: um who was another shooter splash brother Clays out and
- 26:55Speaker 1: so you might as well just wait till everybody comes
- 26:57Speaker 1: back super healthy and strong, because they definitely have been
- 27:01Speaker 1: dismantled and are not the championship team they were last year.
- 27:05Speaker 1: That would be a lot of stress on Currer to go.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Know what I'm saying, not there six three chips. It's cool,
- 27:13Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Uber is going to release a flying
- 27:15Speaker 1: taxi that they running all. They can't even find a
- 27:22Speaker 1: way to my house. Those comments were hilarious. Was gonna
- 27:26Speaker 1: land where are you flying at? You know they already
- 27:30Speaker 1: have uber helicopter, right, they already have that, but but
- 27:34Speaker 1: they have very specific drop off, so it's not like
- 27:36Speaker 1: you can get to exactly where you want to go.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It'll just yeah where wherever. They have these designated uber helipads.
- 27:43Speaker 1: If I have to go to Alabama, that's cool uber plane.
- 27:50Speaker 1: First of all, Okay, you all watching the shows of
- 27:53Speaker 1: the future, it's gonna be covering cars and where how
- 27:59Speaker 1: you look the way the street set up. You know,
- 28:01Speaker 1: stupid nigga is gonna do the dumb ship. Let me
- 28:04Speaker 1: go over this house real quickly, cut through the motherfucker.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You know what. It's gonna be anarchy and the sky.
- 28:08Speaker 1: They're gonna have air lanes, They're gonna have to start
- 28:12Speaker 1: building their house is different. I'm not I'm not with that.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm not with to put pads on top of that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not withing. No, I'm not wing that.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I am so I don't know about it over because
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'm parking, baby, I'm I'm hovering in from the roof. Now, bro,
- 28:30Speaker 1: I'm not I'm with that. That's that's actually pretty cool.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Imagine having a penhouse. It's just like that's coming though,
- 28:37Speaker 1: it has to. I mean, it's an evolution. It's here.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I think it's here. I mean, I know what's gonna happen.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I just I'm just okay. I'm just excited. This damn
- 28:46Speaker 1: traffic down here. It's gonna be trafficking the sky man
- 28:50Speaker 1: to balance it out, to get into an accident. Up here.
- 28:53Speaker 1: There's death. There's death. There's no coming back from that. Facts.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I think. I think the lanes are going to be
- 28:59Speaker 1: very wide. They have to put lights on the everybody
- 29:04Speaker 1: card to put lights on their house and their businesses.
- 29:06Speaker 1: The only thing I like is what Tessa's doing, get
- 29:09Speaker 1: me from A to B and me not I could
- 29:10Speaker 1: just be on the computer or talk on the phone.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You know, right now you get on the freeway and
- 29:14Speaker 1: do it. But they're soon going to offer the feature
- 29:17Speaker 1: where you can leave your house, put in where you're
- 29:18Speaker 1: going and not touching nothing. That y'all see the robot
- 29:29Speaker 1: that's shooting ship and I'm hitting the robot and it
- 29:32Speaker 1: kept shooting, like literally shooting. What is this talk about
- 29:35Speaker 1: the android Android for war and this motherfucker was getting
- 29:42Speaker 1: hit just like in the movies, because they're gonna use
- 29:44Speaker 1: it on us. No, but that's what dog and the joint.
- 29:47Speaker 1: The mothercker went like this shot then he hit him
- 29:50Speaker 1: and he failed. A gun came you to, dude, came
- 29:52Speaker 1: right by, came right here, did not shoot him, got
- 29:55Speaker 1: back up, came back to the target. I'm like dog
- 29:57Speaker 1: one glitch though you you died fourteen time, like think
- 30:01Speaker 1: about it. Though I wrote about the movie Will Smith
- 30:07Speaker 1: speaking of the future and how social media is literally
- 30:11Speaker 1: taking up the national u use nottual security is uh
- 30:16Speaker 1: is TikTok is on the investigation by Homeland social media.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But but I'm gonna tell you this, though you're not
- 30:23Speaker 1: much information they have on us, Like they could wipe
- 30:26Speaker 1: our whole identities out right now. They know where we
- 30:29Speaker 1: are right now, No, but I identities Like this is
- 30:32Speaker 1: the problem I have with nerds running the world. Uh huh.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It comes from a selfish place, thine what I'm saying, No,
- 30:40Speaker 1: don't let's go ahead. No, no, no one's ever fun
- 30:44Speaker 1: with them, but the nerds. I'm just saying, the nerds
- 30:47Speaker 1: the ones who are like, that's what I'm saying, but
- 30:50Speaker 1: they want that type of power. I think about what
- 30:52Speaker 1: I'm saying, like a person who was not treated right,
- 30:55Speaker 1: their whole life goes through this emotional m thank you
- 31:01Speaker 1: a little show. But I think nerves can literally wipe
- 31:04Speaker 1: us out at any point. Don't know where I was
- 31:06Speaker 1: now in fact, And now Kenny sue, Well, if I
- 31:15Speaker 1: want to leave my boyfriend to be with somebody else,
- 31:19Speaker 1: my boyfriend been having a breakdown trying to find a job,
- 31:22Speaker 1: left all the bills on me, and he don't want
- 31:24Speaker 1: to do nothing but smoke all his money. And recently
- 31:26Speaker 1: his best friend, who was a girl, was supposed to
- 31:28Speaker 1: be paying a hundred and fifty bucks for the rent,
- 31:30Speaker 1: but only paid sixty. And now she's not here. She
- 31:33Speaker 1: is over her girlfriend house but still got her things
- 31:36Speaker 1: at my crib and I want to throw it out,
- 31:38Speaker 1: but my boyfriend complains about it. I don't love him
- 31:42Speaker 1: anymore and I want to date a boy at my job.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Should I leave him and date the other person? I
- 31:51Speaker 1: just feel it this way because my boyfriend is at
- 31:53Speaker 1: the word at his worst point right now. Well, your
- 31:55Speaker 1: boyfriend is in a relationship with two lesbians. That's why
- 32:00Speaker 1: the girl only had to pay a hundred fifty dollars,
- 32:03Speaker 1: which turned into sixty dollars. And that's why she's also
- 32:05Speaker 1: using your house as a storage unit because she doesn't
- 32:08Speaker 1: have to She she don't got to do nothing because
- 32:10Speaker 1: your man is protecting her things. Okay, that's a problem.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You're dating to poor people, baby, and it's okay. Yeah,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you just you need to know what you're you know,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I like to when I meet people, I tend to
- 32:23Speaker 1: look six months into the future. I know that's kind
- 32:25Speaker 1: of difficult, but I pay attention to everything. I pay
- 32:28Speaker 1: attention to mannerisms, how you are with money, how you
- 32:31Speaker 1: how you budget. And she said he smoke. You said
- 32:36Speaker 1: all so, so I believe it's crack cocaine. She didn't
- 32:41Speaker 1: say weed. It had. How much is the rent? But
- 32:45Speaker 1: because a hundred fifty dollars towards my rend ain't gonna
- 32:47Speaker 1: do a depth That ain't assistance is going on. The
- 32:53Speaker 1: thing is he had to charge her something, but he
- 32:55Speaker 1: couldn't charge her much because that's that's his girlfriend. Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 1: you need to check on his best friend. So my girl,
- 33:03Speaker 1: even though she was one of my besties, she's actually
- 33:07Speaker 1: more closer with my girl than she's with me because
- 33:09Speaker 1: they're girls. I mean, he says, you know what I'm saying,
- 33:13Speaker 1: Like if that's his bestie, bestie, bestie, I don't know.
- 33:16Speaker 1: But I don't think there's anything wrong with having besties
- 33:18Speaker 1: of the opposite sex. But we grow up like that
- 33:21Speaker 1: in our culture. Like it's not like a you can't
- 33:23Speaker 1: have coffee with this guy, or like it's yeah, that's
- 33:27Speaker 1: that weird. So I always in a weird interaction when
- 33:32Speaker 1: you get married your your your husband is allowed to
- 33:35Speaker 1: have a female best friend for sure, okay, best friend,
- 33:40Speaker 1: your wife, my wife, and outside his wife, your sister.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mean she's not my blood. Okay, what are you?
- 33:47Speaker 1: But you heard your wife is super cool. Okay, but
- 33:51Speaker 1: but it doesn't. But still it's it's a relationship that
- 33:53Speaker 1: he had to build absolutely the opposite sex, exact same
- 33:57Speaker 1: thing for sure. Yeah, ain't nothing wrong with your friends.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Don't change just because you got into a relationship. But
- 34:03Speaker 1: I would never act like you're not my friend just
- 34:05Speaker 1: because of what I'm dating somebody. So what's the moan
- 34:08Speaker 1: of this mother story? I'm still he already left you
- 34:14Speaker 1: your job, tell him to put the go ahead and
- 34:17Speaker 1: throw it all the way in there. I look like
- 34:20Speaker 1: you've been laughing for a while. You ain't giving him none.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I think it's time to want to. I mean, can't.
- 34:27Speaker 1: You can't get nobody now with no crack cocaine dack.
- 34:38Speaker 1: All right, so we're gonna comment on Summer Walker. You guys,
- 34:41Speaker 1: all right. She's awesome. I love her, and we've already
- 34:45Speaker 1: pretty much figured out anti industry exactly. She said, no
- 34:48Speaker 1: for real, though, I've decided y'all don't deserve me. Ll o. Well,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I knew from day one I was too real for
- 34:54Speaker 1: this ship. Y'all can have the music, and I'm gonna
- 34:57Speaker 1: just head out fun the interviews, photo shoots, video, and
- 35:00Speaker 1: really the shows too. I'll finish this tour out though.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I'm just a regular person, nothing more. L o L.
- 35:05Speaker 1: People got this fame shit fucked up? Okay, every day
- 35:10Speaker 1: everything isn't a Miss America, bad bitch contest, and I
- 35:13Speaker 1: don't feel the need to put others down to stay relevant.
- 35:16Speaker 1: People really just disconnected, all right. She says she is
- 35:20Speaker 1: comfortable with the real her, and you should be comfortable
- 35:24Speaker 1: with the real you, whoever that may be, as long
- 35:26Speaker 1: as you're not hurting anyone that same amount of time
- 35:28Speaker 1: you take to chase the bag quote unquote bag, try
- 35:32Speaker 1: putting that same amount of energy into patients acceptance, understanding,
- 35:37Speaker 1: self awareness, self love. But I know no one gives
- 35:40Speaker 1: a ship about what I'm saying, So yeah, peace, love
- 35:43Speaker 1: and lights man. She said a lot more within that,
- 35:47Speaker 1: So y'all definitely want to make sure you check that out. Um,
- 35:50Speaker 1: but it was all real. It's all real, listen. I
- 35:53Speaker 1: love her just like I love Cardi B. And I
- 35:56Speaker 1: love them both equally because they are unapolo getically themselves. Now,
- 36:02Speaker 1: what I do want to say you, Um, well, Summer baby,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you have entered into a business that you know you're
- 36:11Speaker 1: good at. Right in life, it is so hard to
- 36:16Speaker 1: find something you're good at and make money in. And
- 36:20Speaker 1: I want you to realize. And I know her personally,
- 36:23Speaker 1: and I know she's made great investments with her home
- 36:25Speaker 1: and things of that nature with the money she's gotten
- 36:27Speaker 1: so far. But I want you to get every penny
- 36:31Speaker 1: that you can get. Why yourn get it. I do
- 36:33Speaker 1: not want you to leave it alone until you get
- 36:37Speaker 1: everything you came from their mind you I I know
- 36:40Speaker 1: she's at her wits end, she said, it. Her tourist
- 36:43Speaker 1: called it's not it's not worth it. But I think but,
- 36:47Speaker 1: but I but I think that you can still offer
- 36:51Speaker 1: your creativity without depending on people's opinions. And the way
- 36:54Speaker 1: you do that is not to be on Instagram, not
- 36:57Speaker 1: to take this public thing, because she's very active on
- 37:01Speaker 1: on Instagram, She's very active socially, and she's putting out
- 37:05Speaker 1: these images she wants people to. You know, I think
- 37:08Speaker 1: a lot of its quick click page us for a
- 37:12Speaker 1: reaction to for people too. But I don't believe that
- 37:15Speaker 1: she is finished giving her creative to the world, because
- 37:19Speaker 1: it's necessary. If you listen to her music the way
- 37:21Speaker 1: that people identify what it's phenomenon, I think she'll still
- 37:25Speaker 1: be involved in some kind of way. I just think
- 37:26Speaker 1: she does not want to be this celebrity person. She
- 37:30Speaker 1: doesn't want to have all these false expectations of who
- 37:32Speaker 1: she should be, what she should look like, what she
- 37:34Speaker 1: should wear when she's performing. She literally wants to create
- 37:37Speaker 1: her art. That's what she wants to do, and I
- 37:39Speaker 1: think I think she can. But I think humans are
- 37:43Speaker 1: the problem. It's not social media, it's the people using
- 37:46Speaker 1: it and like what we're saying and how people treat
- 37:48Speaker 1: you like people are weird. People want to know everything
- 37:52Speaker 1: about you, what you eat, what your bedroom looked like,
- 37:54Speaker 1: what's in your fridge like. It's it's a weird obsession
- 37:56Speaker 1: that humans have with celebrities so much. We're all just
- 38:01Speaker 1: really human. But if you did not give them, but
- 38:05Speaker 1: if you didn't give them, like you know what I'm saying,
- 38:07Speaker 1: like a basically saying she needs she has way more
- 38:09Speaker 1: to give. Don't do exactly, but even on social I
- 38:12Speaker 1: think it's like being clearly causes the controversy right that
- 38:16Speaker 1: she's having issues with, So continue to be you just
- 38:19Speaker 1: don't share. Always continue, Yeah, but don't share the guns
- 38:25Speaker 1: on the joint or the stripping the triple pole. You
- 38:28Speaker 1: know she had the tripole context and one girl pale.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Just keep it exact, keep it business on the gram.
- 38:35Speaker 1: But but again we're saying to her that she has
- 38:37Speaker 1: to conform what she would normally do because no one's
- 38:41Speaker 1: saying the form. But if you don't, if you don't
- 38:43Speaker 1: want the backlash, right, the things that are coming to you,
- 38:47Speaker 1: that's what she doesn't like. She doesn't like the opinions.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I think she doesn't like it on the scale, right
- 38:51Speaker 1: because I don't think she's posting things differently from what
- 38:53Speaker 1: she did before she was famous, right, I think she's
- 38:55Speaker 1: still using her social media how she's always used it.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Definitely different, She's definitely I know it's wrong, different things
- 39:02Speaker 1: to share. I think this is what I'm saying. I
- 39:05Speaker 1: think she does not like all this extra tension she's
- 39:09Speaker 1: getting because in her mind she's still Summer Walker, like
- 39:14Speaker 1: she's I just think, you know, sometimes fame, turn it
- 39:18Speaker 1: comments off, Yeah, turn your comments off, because I said,
- 39:21Speaker 1: but y'all really think all of it is just coming
- 39:23Speaker 1: from social media like it's it's not. But I understand that.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I understand that. But it's not just coming from social media.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It's it's the meeting she's having to go to. It's
- 39:31Speaker 1: a fake relationship she's having to build it telling her
- 39:35Speaker 1: due to it's literally not just social media. I mean,
- 39:38Speaker 1: but even your average nine to five, like you have
- 39:42Speaker 1: to deal with fake people, you have to do with bullshit.
- 39:44Speaker 1: And that's not in the five though. But she got
- 39:48Speaker 1: going on. That's a lot. That's a lot for human
- 39:52Speaker 1: base seven. When you turn on your phone, that's when
- 39:56Speaker 1: when when you've got people that are running your life,
- 39:58Speaker 1: when you've got people calling you, Hey, you got all
- 40:00Speaker 1: these meetings today, Hey you got this photoship. She does
- 40:06Speaker 1: not do anything. She doesn't want to do. What she
- 40:08Speaker 1: what she is contractually obligated to do. She does, which
- 40:11Speaker 1: is her job. And she's come to grips with that.
- 40:13Speaker 1: But she does not do nothing. She don't. But you
- 40:15Speaker 1: don't think people are still trying to convince her, like, hey, Summer,
- 40:18Speaker 1: please do this. And I think that's what she's tired.
- 40:21Speaker 1: She's like, look, I told y'all, I'm not doing it, y'all.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Keep make me doing that from the heaven. Yeah. And
- 40:27Speaker 1: when you're that and when you're there, and that's a
- 40:29Speaker 1: great point. When you are that talented, you need to
- 40:32Speaker 1: be able to zone the ship that bothers you out
- 40:35Speaker 1: if you want to remain sane and that to get
- 40:40Speaker 1: to that level of career, you know, if you strive
- 40:43Speaker 1: to when day get to that that level, I mean,
- 40:46Speaker 1: you already know what comes with it. I think I
- 40:48Speaker 1: know what could help though, just a mentor, like somebody
- 40:50Speaker 1: who really she but sometimes I think with mentors, I
- 40:54Speaker 1: think sometimes like hopefully someone is not trying to force
- 40:57Speaker 1: their mentorship on her. It needs to be somebody that
- 40:59Speaker 1: she s up to that talks to her that she
- 41:02Speaker 1: admires their opinion, because sometimes if you get an opinion
- 41:05Speaker 1: from someone who you don't necessarily care for or how
- 41:10Speaker 1: to handle some situations. But if it's like somebody you
- 41:13Speaker 1: really admire and they're telling you, hey, you know this
- 41:16Speaker 1: is how you navigate it, or somebody that you respect
- 41:18Speaker 1: in your life. I mean, I never forget what I
- 41:20Speaker 1: first started hosting. The only person I can talk to
- 41:22Speaker 1: at a particular moment was Kenny because when DJs was
- 41:25Speaker 1: trying to tell me how to carry myself in the club,
- 41:28Speaker 1: I'm like, my nigga, you don't even know what it's
- 41:30Speaker 1: like to be like me. You know what I'm saying.
- 41:31Speaker 1: So I'm over here texting this nigger when he's in California, like, Yo,
- 41:35Speaker 1: this is what happened to night. This was crazy. He
- 41:37Speaker 1: was like, well, yeah, well that's that's because you ain't
- 41:41Speaker 1: turn up at five. You gotta kind of go in
- 41:44Speaker 1: a little earlier. I'm over here like, oh okay, bat,
- 41:48Speaker 1: she let that happen. You can take that criticism. I
- 41:50Speaker 1: think for her, Um, I wouldn't be mad at her
- 41:52Speaker 1: just releasing music right, Like, I don't like she could
- 41:56Speaker 1: do just put the music out, don't worry about live shows,
- 42:00Speaker 1: because I think people relate, especially a lot of women
- 42:02Speaker 1: in that demographic, relate to the content of her music
- 42:05Speaker 1: to where it's like ship, if I don't see a
- 42:07Speaker 1: new photo of you, I really don't care, but please
- 42:09Speaker 1: give me new music. And that's what That's exactly what
- 42:11Speaker 1: I'm saying. And I think that if she cut all
- 42:14Speaker 1: other ship off that bothers her, she'd be fine. Just
- 42:17Speaker 1: the music and you can still benefit from because to
- 42:20Speaker 1: your point, it's not a visual thing with her. I
- 42:24Speaker 1: think it's amusing the things she does. The music is
- 42:27Speaker 1: what connects, and that's all I just wanted, not mad
- 42:30Speaker 1: at a bunch of like unplugged shows where she just
- 42:33Speaker 1: has like, you know, coffee shop situation, not a coffee
- 42:38Speaker 1: shop dinner was doing. He was just showing up. He texts,
- 42:42Speaker 1: Ye'll want to say, I'm gonna be at such a
- 42:43Speaker 1: such I mean, you know who started at Ryan Leslie.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I thought it was such a great idea for him
- 42:50Speaker 1: and just be able to identify like who his core
- 42:53Speaker 1: fans are and where they are and what it is
- 42:55Speaker 1: that they like to do, so that when he goes
- 42:56Speaker 1: to that city he knows. Okay, I'm going to have
- 42:58Speaker 1: a show at this place because this is what my
- 42:59Speaker 1: core phone said they wanted. So I think for her,
- 43:01Speaker 1: she I think she wants to be connected with the
- 43:05Speaker 1: real people, like the people that aren't trying to get
- 43:08Speaker 1: too much out of her. So maybe she can come
- 43:10Speaker 1: up with some type of creative for her and she
- 43:14Speaker 1: won't take take a break. You can come back anytime, girl,
- 43:17Speaker 1: We're gonna be here. I'm gonna last for me for
- 43:20Speaker 1: a minute, as long as you gotta get music, whatever
- 43:23Speaker 1: one here, you come back. Yeah, we'll be here all right.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Something to give you think, baby girl. And now it's time,
- 43:29Speaker 1: fucking Fucius said, Ladies and gentlemen, Uh, sometimes you gotta
- 43:38Speaker 1: do is best for culture. Um. We talked about it
- 43:42Speaker 1: today on the show, like what really is culture? Culture
- 43:46Speaker 1: is tradition, cultures, cultures, heritage. And this morning I woke
- 43:51Speaker 1: up with, uh, should I post a question for my wife?
- 43:56Speaker 1: And it was for the legend pulp Daddy, Happy Birthday Champ.
- 44:00Speaker 1: And I was really going back and forth because of
- 44:03Speaker 1: all of our back and forth and if you all
- 44:05Speaker 1: follow us, you know, um, but I want to say
- 44:09Speaker 1: it's bigger than me. It's about the culture and when
- 44:11Speaker 1: anyone in culture provides opportunity, when they provide jobs and
- 44:16Speaker 1: they really put on for your culture. I'm talking about
- 44:20Speaker 1: you black folk. You have to celebrate them, So go forth.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Paul, the dream is real. Happy bad day
- 44:31Speaker 1: because it's real.
