- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Drama, Darling.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, guys, what's up chickens? Deanna Chang and I are
- 0:23Speaker 1: here to talk about Southern charm. And you know we're
- 0:26Speaker 1: gonna get into some chicken talk, some farm talk. Hi Diana, Oh.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Hi, oh hey hey Amy.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's great to be here with you, and can
- 0:36Speaker 1: we talk a little bit about Southern charm. We also
- 0:39Speaker 1: have some news to discuss, so why don't we get
- 0:41Speaker 1: into some dish serving dish, nice shimmy des Okay, first
- 0:49Speaker 1: of all, I'm so psyched for our mom talk lady,
- 0:54Speaker 1: Whitney Leavitt, who did her She did her Broadway debut?
- 0:59Speaker 3: Oh, how'd you do? Do we get any reviews?
- 1:01Speaker 1: It looks to me like she did great. We got
- 1:04Speaker 1: a little clip of her singing one line that I
- 1:07Speaker 1: saw sounded fine, sounded good, but the dancing looked fantastic.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And it really was the bow. You know how they
- 1:13Speaker 1: always do that with when they have a debut of somebody.
- 1:18Speaker 1: They always show their bow and thanking people and them
- 1:21Speaker 1: being introduced. And not only that, but the mom talker
- 1:26Speaker 1: showed up in support. I mean when I looked at
- 1:29Speaker 1: this picture, Deanna, and you will probably agree from Afar.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know who any of these ladies are.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It's too difficult to say because they're doing so much work.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They're always changing their hair, and so you tell me
- 1:45Speaker 1: who's there? I don't know, but I think they're all there.
- 1:48Speaker 3: That's the only one.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I wait, do you say?
- 1:50Speaker 4: And I Whitney and the girl in the red. Everyone
- 1:56Speaker 4: else is a mystery.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Taylor, I see. And the girl in the red?
- 2:02Speaker 1: What even is her name anymore?
- 2:04Speaker 3: Well, don't ask me that I don't forgot her.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It's so funny off season for secret lives of Mormon wives.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm not I don't want to have their names almost
- 2:16Speaker 1: you know, Demi.
- 2:18Speaker 3: They haven't made it easy.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Demi has been in the news a lot because she's
- 2:22Speaker 1: been having so much facial work done. Yeah, and it's
- 2:26Speaker 1: a little like kind of disturbing. And I hate to
- 2:28Speaker 1: be judgeful, but I am in this circumstance. I don't
- 2:32Speaker 1: know if that's a word, but I do feel judgeful,
- 2:34Speaker 1: full of.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Judge That sounds.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I feel like that's such a housewives word that just
- 2:39Speaker 4: got made up from like Ramona Malaprop type of situation.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You know what, I'm feeling judgeful.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I feel judgedulul.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think that it just is odd
- 2:55Speaker 4: because they're so young, you know, and to be doing
- 2:59Speaker 4: new faces.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. That is so so intense. So that
- 3:06Speaker 1: being said, happy for Whitney and just delighted. Now, let's
- 3:12Speaker 1: talk about how The Real Housewives Ultimate road Trip ended
- 3:18Speaker 1: because they had a finale apparently, and Daily Mail posted
- 3:24Speaker 1: Tamra Judge and Shannon Badour were pulled from the finale
- 3:29Speaker 1: after an explosive fight, and somehow Giselle was involved as well. Now,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I think the finale took place at Bluestone Manor and
- 3:42Speaker 1: Andy Cohen was there. Did you say they were all
- 3:45Speaker 1: There was a video that was circulating and they were
- 3:47Speaker 1: all dancing in the foyer of Derinda's place. Andy was
- 3:52Speaker 1: in a tux. It was like, am I dreaming right now?
- 3:55Speaker 1: When I opened up Instagram the other day, they were
- 3:58Speaker 1: and I didn't see Tamra, I didn't see Shannon.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Goddamn it.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening it Durinda's not on it, no,
- 4:07Speaker 1: but they went to her house I think for the finale,
- 4:11Speaker 1: But like damn, they may not have been pulled from
- 4:15Speaker 1: the actual event, but said, do not come to this,
- 4:17Speaker 1: which is like even more so because you think they'd
- 4:20Speaker 1: want him to be there and then like ask them
- 4:22Speaker 1: to leave, because that's way more dramatic. Right, let's talk
- 4:27Speaker 1: about the E thing, because we have now gotten the
- 4:31Speaker 1: news that E has now taken on some of the
- 4:35Speaker 1: og wives to do a show, right, but Luanne is
- 4:40Speaker 1: part of that, so and Luanne was just on this
- 4:43Speaker 1: girl's trip. So you know here the other thing is
- 4:47Speaker 1: E I believe is under the same umbrella as Bravo,
- 4:50Speaker 1: aren't they isn't an NBC Universal.
- 4:54Speaker 4: So now you're making some sense. But it does seem
- 4:56Speaker 4: like bra would Bravo allow that?
- 4:59Speaker 1: Well, they can't not allow it. They can't not allow
- 5:02Speaker 1: it if they're not under contract, right, I mean they're not,
- 5:05Speaker 1: And I'm.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Sure enough time has passed or is there any like
- 5:10Speaker 4: we own this and that?
- 5:12Speaker 1: No? Right, I guess right, I see what you're saying. Well,
- 5:15Speaker 1: they're not going to be able to call it the
- 5:16Speaker 1: Real Housewives. I mean you know they're going to be
- 5:18Speaker 1: able to. So if they do it, they must have
- 5:22Speaker 1: some agreement. And if they're under the same umbrella, then
- 5:25Speaker 1: NBC Universal is going to want to make it a go,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and maybe Bravo's like, you know what, that's great and
- 5:29Speaker 1: if you guys do it over there, we'll put it
- 5:32Speaker 1: on Peacock or whatever. But you know, Luanne has was
- 5:37Speaker 1: just on Girls Trip, so it's not like there's a
- 5:40Speaker 1: conflict there and she's going to be doing this show Direnda.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Wait, you know, I don't know. I just see Luanne
- 5:48Speaker 4: like Drenda, I'm sure knows all the contracts and what
- 5:51Speaker 4: can happen, and she's has some sort of like homeland
- 5:54Speaker 4: asque like map on our house of what she can
- 5:57Speaker 4: do and what she can't do and how she's going
- 5:59Speaker 4: to get back on these shows, you know, and Lou's
- 6:01Speaker 4: like Lou's like, Darling, I broke the you know, I
- 6:04Speaker 4: broke the Nda whatever. Like I could just see her
- 6:08Speaker 4: still making her way despite having not even thinking about like,
- 6:12Speaker 4: well does this make sense because I'm going to be
- 6:14Speaker 4: burning a bridge, you know, Like I just think.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Like Lou Lou does.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Lou is actively on all of the Bravo shows, like
- 6:23Speaker 4: they are always pulling her back, and for some reason,
- 6:26Speaker 4: I could see her being the exception to the rule,
- 6:28Speaker 4: and I can't explain why.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I agree I think she is the exception to the rule. Ok,
- 6:32Speaker 1: she's too I completely agree. You know, Kelly ben Simone
- 6:37Speaker 1: is on it, Jill Zarn, Jill whose face home. That
- 6:44Speaker 1: was a rough thing to see Kelly ben Simone and
- 6:47Speaker 1: Jill's face on these promos, they are looking so shocking.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I am sorry. We have got to stop the filler
- 6:56Speaker 1: and good good on Ramona for not going that far.
- 7:00Speaker 4: You never think you hear that, you know, because she's
- 7:02Speaker 4: done so much, But I guess it. Listen, It's like
- 7:06Speaker 4: sometimes you go really really far but it works out,
- 7:10Speaker 4: and sometimes you go really really far and it doesn't.
- 7:13Speaker 4: You know, it's a real it's like a real just
- 7:16Speaker 4: like shot in the dark, you know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know, you mean, like the long game. Are
- 7:21Speaker 1: you saying, like you go really far and then it
- 7:23Speaker 1: kind of ends up settling in and it's okay in
- 7:25Speaker 1: the long run.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Like I guess what I'm saying is like, maybe Ramona's
- 7:30Speaker 4: done the exact same amount of work as Jill, but
- 7:32Speaker 4: it's worked out and she's still retaining a whisper of
- 7:36Speaker 4: an original face, where Jill's face has been.
- 7:40Speaker 1: The rich modled with filler. I mean, I think that
- 7:43Speaker 1: if Ramona had the amount of filler put in her
- 7:45Speaker 1: face that Jill had. We would see it.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Philler doesn't lie, killer doesn't lie. You know, filler, Well,
- 7:55Speaker 4: I'll tell you what. Also, it's a filler. And it
- 7:59Speaker 4: does seem like just as a grand sweeping statement from
- 8:03Speaker 4: every TikTok derm I follow on TikTok, killer is like
- 8:10Speaker 4: going the way of the people are not recommending filler currently,
- 8:14Speaker 4: Like it's really gone the way of the dodo, you know,
- 8:17Speaker 4: It's like.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Right, and yes, they're like, Sonya's in this too. I
- 8:20Speaker 1: failed to mention Sonya is also in this. Yeah, so
- 8:24Speaker 1: it's Jill, Luanne, Jill Bensimone, Ramona and Sonya. And you know,
- 8:30Speaker 1: so the most shocking person on this show is that
- 8:33Speaker 1: it's Luanne because she is fed very well by Bravo
- 8:38Speaker 1: and Peacock. So yeah, that is shocking. But she clearly
- 8:43Speaker 1: had Andy's approval, and honestly, I think Andy is probably
- 8:47Speaker 1: happy for them. He probably wants them to be on
- 8:51Speaker 1: Bravo AND's.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Like, just to stop the barrage of Jill texts that
- 8:58Speaker 4: come in on the daily, please, is someone take them
- 9:01Speaker 4: off of my hands?
- 9:02Speaker 1: Please?
- 9:05Speaker 4: I can't my my, my eighte and t Bill can't
- 9:09Speaker 4: take it with this, with this Dernda and this Jill
- 9:13Speaker 4: and this you know, quite frankly.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Darling, I'll take these hoe bags off your hands, Darling.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Let me.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I will lead this show. I mean, honestly, I think
- 9:21Speaker 1: that's how it went down. And he was like, you know,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't know if you're going to be able to
- 9:28Speaker 1: sell this show with Jill, Ben, Simone, Ramona and Sonya,
- 9:33Speaker 1: but I will give you Luanne right, which will take
- 9:40Speaker 1: them the rest of them off my d r Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and Darling will take the hit. I love for you anything, Darling,
- 9:49Speaker 1: because her loyalty to Andy, I think is runs really deep.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So that is really the only wild card for me
- 9:55Speaker 1: is her. So there's got to be some sort of
- 9:57Speaker 1: understanding there. For sure, she would never do that if
- 10:01Speaker 1: it upset Andy. Absolutely not.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Well, I don't think so.
- 10:04Speaker 4: But I do see a world in which she just
- 10:07Speaker 4: didn't get like her head around.
- 10:10Speaker 3: The deflection, you know, if that was, if that was how.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I meant, don't probably doesn't know she just would.
- 10:16Speaker 3: No, I don't think that she listen, do I think.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Lou knows where she's, what her year looks like, and
- 10:24Speaker 4: what she's committed to No, I don't.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 10:28Speaker 4: She She'll show up over here, over there, put her
- 10:32Speaker 4: over here. She's a packed me a few bikinis and
- 10:35Speaker 4: let's go, you know, like and what I'll be there.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I'll give you the best ratings of your life. I
- 10:42Speaker 4: don't need to be mired in the minutia of the who,
- 10:44Speaker 4: what went, and where in the contract.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think that there is an
- 10:49Speaker 1: agreement though, at least with this, I think that she
- 10:52Speaker 1: would be like, oh, Darling, now just a minute, Hot tomato,
- 10:55Speaker 1: Hot potato, Hot tomato. My next my next song is
- 11:01Speaker 1: going to be called hot Potato.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Hot Tomato. I did feel.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Listen, we all got a little zip in a nip
- 11:14Speaker 4: in a when we saw the deflection to eat. And
- 11:20Speaker 4: I'm gonna call it deflection until we have more information.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Deflection from the Epstein files and what deflection from I'm kidding,
- 11:26Speaker 1: deflection from these ladies bothering andy.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Deflection.
- 11:30Speaker 4: But is it like when you oh my god, I
- 11:32Speaker 4: mean I'm using oh my god, don't call me my girl, Rappaport,
- 11:36Speaker 4: I'm using the wrong word. I meant deflection, No, you
- 11:41Speaker 4: meant projection. In fact, defect defected and if it affected.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on pause.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I mean when you defect to another country, is that
- 11:55Speaker 4: the right word?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Defect to another country?
- 11:57Speaker 1: Is that is exactly the correct word.
- 12:00Speaker 4: So but I've been saying deflect, yes, and of defect
- 12:03Speaker 4: that's so there it is, guys.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Rapoport on.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You look, I Ramona earlier by saying that I'm judgeful,
- 12:10Speaker 1: so we're all part of the same family.
- 12:13Speaker 3: I love. Okay, Oh, this is my point being.
- 12:17Speaker 4: We were excited just because it's like juicy, you know,
- 12:20Speaker 4: to see that, like the Ojis of New York have
- 12:23Speaker 4: made their way to another network.
- 12:25Speaker 3: It's like whoa.
- 12:27Speaker 4: When I saw their homemade trailer or they're not a
- 12:32Speaker 4: trailer but announcement where everyone is from their own homes
- 12:38Speaker 4: putting no amy.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It was so bleak. It was like are we in?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Is this the pandemic again? And did you do your
- 12:47Speaker 1: own filler at home? And also what's the budget for this?
- 12:54Speaker 1: And this is not looking up?
- 12:58Speaker 4: It's really dark guys whatever this is like, I don't
- 13:04Speaker 4: you should have shut your mouth until we had a
- 13:07Speaker 4: couple coins to roll together, rubbed together and get us something.
- 13:11Speaker 4: This is your first step out and it all came
- 13:15Speaker 4: from pandemic home setups.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It's giving. It's the original Orange County sizzle reel that
- 13:23Speaker 1: was shopped around because of the quality. Actually, it's way
- 13:27Speaker 1: it's way worse. That was actually good. So let let's
- 13:29Speaker 1: not Is it.
- 13:30Speaker 4: The original Orange Orange County audition tapes?
- 13:34Speaker 1: You know what, let's go with that. That sounds better,
- 13:36Speaker 1: although like ironically bad, it's so bad, and then a
- 13:41Speaker 1: lot of it's a jump scare.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 13:46Speaker 1: We know better at this point, who is running this ship?
- 13:51Speaker 4: Well, and that's where you go, guys. I understand you
- 13:56Speaker 4: wanted to get to it and you're tired of sitting around.
- 14:00Speaker 1: But here, Yeah, here's the rub.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I know you're excited, but you also knew it was coming,
- 14:06Speaker 1: so you could have tried to put something together. What's
- 14:09Speaker 1: the rub?
- 14:11Speaker 4: Well, it's just that it's not when you're not at Bravo,
- 14:15Speaker 4: you're not getting the lights in the and the production
- 14:18Speaker 4: and the I mean the lights. It's just like just
- 14:21Speaker 4: the lights alone. You know it's important.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Do you don't think that, Well, he's not going to
- 14:28Speaker 1: have the same budget obviously, I mean they've had this
- 14:31Speaker 1: se they've had good budgets for some things. No, I
- 14:35Speaker 1: don't know.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Maybe there was just an excitement and they someone.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know what happened here, but
- 14:43Speaker 3: i'll tell you I'm terrified.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I don't know what happened here. Well, you know what
- 14:49Speaker 1: the other thing is like people are making it look
- 14:52Speaker 1: like it's scandalous, like, oh my gosh, the ogs and
- 14:55Speaker 1: to your word defected to another network, And it's really
- 15:00Speaker 1: not that scandalous. It's like they've probably been shopping around
- 15:05Speaker 1: this idea since day one, and it took this long
- 15:09Speaker 1: to get them scooped up. And it's also like, if
- 15:13Speaker 1: they're under the same umbrella, it's really not that who cares?
- 15:16Speaker 4: And I think talking about the umbrella is something I
- 15:19Speaker 4: didn't even think about, So I appreciate that so much.
- 15:22Speaker 4: I just like, nothing is more important to these women
- 15:26Speaker 4: than how they look on television, and I'm worried. I
- 15:30Speaker 4: just don't know. Now, let me throw this out there.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Let's just say, okay that their budget is extremely low
- 15:40Speaker 4: and this is going to be, you know, a very
- 15:43Speaker 4: grassroots effort on some very seasoned veterans of reality television,
- 15:49Speaker 4: some would say some that began the franchise, you know,
- 15:54Speaker 4: and of Real Housewives arguably with Orange County, but whatever.
- 16:00Speaker 4: So if they're going in this like gorilla style shooting
- 16:04Speaker 4: that's so raw, that is not complimentary, maybe just maybe
- 16:10Speaker 4: that's what the doctor ordered and we'll like it for
- 16:13Speaker 4: that reason alone. That it's going to be an utter
- 16:16Speaker 4: mess production wise for starters, which is gonna really pave
- 16:24Speaker 4: the way for other types of messes. It's not going
- 16:27Speaker 4: to be tight, so it's going to get weird. It
- 16:31Speaker 4: is already weird, and I think like it's giving you know,
- 16:35Speaker 4: ninety day fiance ninety day the other way, you know,
- 16:39Speaker 4: and those are they're hard for me.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Because yeah, it's giving life after lock up.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it is it. No, it is life after.
- 16:51Speaker 4: What we saw in that little cobbled together promo and
- 16:57Speaker 4: announcement is life after lock up.
- 17:01Speaker 3: And this is a lot of people locked up.
- 17:05Speaker 1: In Palm Beach.
- 17:06Speaker 2: They've been locked up, like actually Luanne Deanna, Yeah, Housewives
- 17:19Speaker 2: version like that lock Up. They should do a spin
- 17:22Speaker 2: off a bat of all the women who have been.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Let's bring in Jen, not like let's bring in Karen. Yeah, Teresa,
- 17:34Speaker 1: Teresa Luyne Tinsley. We got a whole cast of characters here.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Got more locked up? Was she locked up old time.
- 17:44Speaker 4: She was locked up back before we met her.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she's got a wrap sheet, you know what I mean?
- 17:49Speaker 1: I mean to Marlow, like, even if they were in
- 17:54Speaker 1: and out, it's still it still counts.
- 17:58Speaker 3: It's still cling clink.
- 18:00Speaker 4: You know.
- 18:02Speaker 1: What's clink clink? What's that? What's that?
- 18:07Speaker 4: It's called clink clink, clank clink. I don't mind it,
- 18:13Speaker 4: and you know what, it's not bad now. I'm now
- 18:16Speaker 4: I'm like getting excited, you know, but because that's fun.
- 18:21Speaker 4: That belongs on EM that.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Does or TLC TLC okay, clink clink belongs on E.
- 18:30Speaker 1: All right, we need to move on because I didn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: expect that news to take as long, so we do
- 18:37Speaker 1: need to move on to Southern charm. It's a darling
- 18:44Speaker 1: new year and time to get back to feeling like yourself.

- 21:08Speaker 1: in the South and we are headed over to Witner's farm, which,
- 21:13Speaker 1: my goodness, we had our eyes full. That was some
- 21:16Speaker 1: Southern eye candy, wasn't it. Holy smokes? The tents, the pond,
- 21:21Speaker 1: the ponds, the main house, the cottages, the pool.
- 21:27Speaker 3: House, the gorgeous pool in the pool house. Oh my god.
- 21:31Speaker 1: The Jimmy buffet of it all. Was my mouth drop
- 21:34Speaker 1: with that we all know. Bartender Brett my darling husband,
- 21:39Speaker 1: Brett loves Jimmy Buffett the summertime and he loves that's
- 21:42Speaker 1: he lives his best life. He will listen to the
- 21:45Speaker 1: Margueriteville Serious Exam station on the weekends when he's out there,
- 21:51Speaker 1: and he will live his best life. I know, God
- 21:53Speaker 1: love him and he'll he'll He's not afraid to wear
- 21:55Speaker 1: tropical shirt either. So that being said, that play was
- 22:00Speaker 1: great and that's what I love about Southern charm. Like, whoa,
- 22:04Speaker 1: this just came out of nowhere and hit us between
- 22:06Speaker 1: the eyes.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Wow, it was what a first of all, we've needed it.
- 22:13Speaker 4: As we were heading there before I even knew what
- 22:16Speaker 4: we were going to feast our eyes upon, I said,
- 22:20Speaker 4: I am more pleased to head to Whitner's family Itchy
- 22:25Speaker 4: Grass Compound then I would be to go to Mexico
- 22:30Speaker 4: with this group.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Oh gosh, absolutely, they're so lucky to have this. I mean,
- 22:36Speaker 1: this is like incredible.
- 22:38Speaker 3: And it is what makes Southern charm.
- 22:40Speaker 4: And like you know, you get to see it's it's
- 22:44Speaker 4: like these guys want this life.
- 22:50Speaker 3: They could get this life.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but there that's the that's the rub of the show.
- 22:58Speaker 4: It's like it's so close they are built to want it.
- 23:01Speaker 4: It's in their blood. They can taste.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It, but they can't seem to.
- 23:09Speaker 4: It's like the lore of the call to be single
- 23:14Speaker 4: is just stronger than their desire to have what they should.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Have, right, you know, And they think that that thing,
- 23:25Speaker 1: the property, the family, the fun, the tradition is going
- 23:32Speaker 1: is infinite because they don't think it's ever going to
- 23:36Speaker 1: go away. They will think it's always within reach. And
- 23:39Speaker 1: what they don't understand is it's not like, in order
- 23:44Speaker 1: to build up something like that, you should have been
- 23:46Speaker 1: settled on your land about ten years Agohn, You're ten
- 23:52Speaker 1: years behind, so, you know, and with shep in his home,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you know, with it being as big as it is,
- 24:00Speaker 1: and it being on that island, I believe the Isle
- 24:04Speaker 1: of Palms, I believe isn't that were his houses. I'm sorry,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I hate asking questions, but not. Yeah, anyway where he
- 24:10Speaker 1: like kind of grew up and all this stuff that
- 24:12Speaker 1: he's a step in the right direction, but he'll never
- 24:17Speaker 1: ever be able to fill the shoes of itchigrayas.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 1: So that was remarkable to see just the history. And
- 24:29Speaker 1: you know, we know Whitner had his heart broken that
- 24:31Speaker 1: he was really close to getting married, right, And I
- 24:34Speaker 1: was like, who is this gal that just said I'm
- 24:36Speaker 1: out on all this? Not to say that you shouldn't
- 24:39Speaker 1: leave for long, but that says a lot about this
- 24:41Speaker 1: person too. She wasn't going to marry somebody unless she
- 24:46Speaker 1: really loved them, right.
- 24:49Speaker 4: And I think so far we don't know him that well,
- 24:51Speaker 4: but he does seem like a quality person with a
- 24:54Speaker 4: good job, who seems to have their head on straight
- 24:58Speaker 4: from so far from what we know. And so to
- 25:02Speaker 4: have that it's cute and to have itsy grass and
- 25:06Speaker 4: to bounce.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, what was it? I mean, what other? Did she
- 25:13Speaker 1: have some other option that was even greater? Possibly? Or
- 25:17Speaker 1: she is a woman that is truly not going to
- 25:21Speaker 1: settle for anything less than her heart's desire of wanting
- 25:25Speaker 1: to feel and feel in love and be in love
- 25:28Speaker 1: truly with somebody, which is a respectable choice.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the last thing on our list as a possibility,
- 25:37Speaker 4: but we are going to leave that possibility open.
- 25:39Speaker 1: We'll consider it. We will consider it now. Ye know,
- 25:42Speaker 1: I'm concerned for his future and all the people that
- 25:44Speaker 1: will be coming after him after seeing all of this
- 25:46Speaker 1: and their motives. How do you go from here?
- 25:50Speaker 3: Well, that's a great question.
- 25:53Speaker 4: I do feel like if it were like a Craig
- 25:58Speaker 4: in witnessosition, it would be really scary. Okay, but I
- 26:02Speaker 4: do feel like Witner has his wits about him if
- 26:05Speaker 4: I intended, and I think he'll be able to well
- 26:11Speaker 4: you know who, you know what? Amy.
- 26:13Speaker 3: What's so freaking interesting. I'm now realizing that none of
- 26:18Speaker 3: these girls have considered.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Him because we have all these single women. We have Sally, Vanita, Molly,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and Charlie and they're just they're going off after the
- 26:32Speaker 1: main cast members, right, And did you hear that Sally
- 26:36Speaker 1: and Molly worked at Republic, which is Leva's bar.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't know that. I knew that. I also
- 26:43Speaker 3: didn't watch that program.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But were they on Southern Hospitality? Because I don't I
- 26:49Speaker 1: think they were.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I never clocked in on Southern Hospitality.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think they were. So so that that
- 26:57Speaker 1: was a huge thing because like, oh, oh, okay, so
- 27:01Speaker 1: you guys were you've been in this reality funnel for
- 27:06Speaker 1: a while, this machine, and it's been moving you towards
- 27:10Speaker 1: this or maybe they were going to put you on hospitality,
- 27:13Speaker 1: which is an interesting thing to see totally.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Yeah, No, it is because that's why they're firmly focused
- 27:20Speaker 4: on the leads. I mean, I know we're going to
- 27:24Speaker 4: get into it, but seeing Sally's pivot to Austin made
- 27:29Speaker 4: me gag.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Sorry, no, you know, so was it a heart the
- 27:35Speaker 1: hard pivot in the car when she found out that
- 27:37Speaker 1: Austin broke up? Okay, because hasn't she had her eye
- 27:41Speaker 1: on him also and just kind of turned away because
- 27:44Speaker 1: he was with someone Audrey correct.
- 27:48Speaker 4: But it's like, I guess what irritated me is that
- 27:52Speaker 4: she never liked Craig that much, but just but she's
- 27:56Speaker 4: also going to make her friend's life hell over it,
- 27:59Speaker 4: you know what I mean. That's where I'm just like,
- 28:04Speaker 4: you never really you always want it. It's just so
- 28:06Speaker 4: boy crazy, and I just don't gravitate to that kind
- 28:09Speaker 4: of goal, you know, I don't.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I don't either, and I don't. The motives, no matter
- 28:14Speaker 1: which angle you're looking at, are just off, you know. Yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 1: And for her to be like excited that another player
- 28:21Speaker 1: in the game is open for playtime on a reality
- 28:26Speaker 1: show is the way that I sort of took.
- 28:27Speaker 3: It to, you know, totally.
- 28:30Speaker 1: So with Craig, I don't believe that he was saying
- 28:34Speaker 1: that at all, which is what's what Sally was trying
- 28:37Speaker 1: to tell Charlie. I mean, she really did muddle up
- 28:41Speaker 1: the intent of what he was actually saying. And I'm
- 28:45Speaker 1: so glad at the end that Shep was like, look,
- 28:47Speaker 1: we know you. You're like the only guy that wants
- 28:49Speaker 1: to live life in a romantic comedy essentially like you.
- 28:53Speaker 1: So I'm so glad that that was said about him,
- 28:56Speaker 1: and that SHEP said we know you, Craig, because it
- 28:59Speaker 1: would really you know, all we see is we all
- 29:02Speaker 1: know that Craig is a liar. Okay, so that's that's fair.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But all we see is like Austin and Craig fighting
- 29:08Speaker 1: right now and them saying horrible things to each other.
- 29:10Speaker 1: So it was sort of nice to hear someone say,
- 29:14Speaker 1: we know you're not gonna use and abuse women on
- 29:18Speaker 1: the regular, like we do. You know, that's not who
- 29:22Speaker 1: you are. You play a different game. You just lie
- 29:24Speaker 1: all the time and we don't know where you're coming
- 29:27Speaker 1: or going, but like, that's not you. So I found
- 29:29Speaker 1: it interesting. Charlie did stick with Craig and she was like,
- 29:34Speaker 1: don't worry about it like this, that and the other thing.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I don't I don't believe it. And with Craig being like,
- 29:40Speaker 1: she's just jealous didn't make him look good at all,
- 29:45Speaker 1: because that was pretty ridiculous. She is, she's jealous about
- 29:50Speaker 1: being not being a star, and I just wish that
- 29:55Speaker 1: Craig could sometimes take the high road. And so for
- 29:57Speaker 1: him to be like, she's just jealous, it's just annoy
- 30:00Speaker 1: to me because it's like, Okay, Craig, it's not necessarily
- 30:03Speaker 1: about you always. It's actually probably more about the show
- 30:06Speaker 1: than it is about you, so trying he just doesn't
- 30:08Speaker 1: take the high road, and he he annoys me with that.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Well I thought he had now.
- 30:13Speaker 4: Listen, we had just hot off the hot off of
- 30:16Speaker 4: him hearing Austin say I hate you, I mean, which
- 30:20Speaker 4: was crazy, and him saying, you know, you haven't done
- 30:23Speaker 4: shit with the last five years.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I mean, they really ripped each other apart.
- 30:27Speaker 4: So this news about him thinking like he doesn't want
- 30:34Speaker 4: to hurt her because you know she's going to fall
- 30:37Speaker 4: in love with him got funneled through Austin to Sally.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Right, Well, shep was somehow involved in this.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Oh okay, okay, yeah, and shep d.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Or Austin, right, I mean, let's just put it together.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Yeah, So, I mean I thought Craig would have blown
- 30:56Speaker 4: up more.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Yeah, this so I did to he took.
- 31:00Speaker 4: I don't know about the high road, but I thought
- 31:02Speaker 4: he tried to emotionally regulate himself a bit.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I did a pretty good job. But we haven't seen
- 31:07Speaker 1: next week yet, so we'll see what he does. But
- 31:10Speaker 1: she was just spouting off even after he confronted her,
- 31:13Speaker 1: like I didn't say that, and then her being like,
- 31:16Speaker 1: who are you gonna believe he totally said that, and
- 31:19Speaker 1: then him walking by being like I know you're talking
- 31:21Speaker 1: about me. He's stop it.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and they're.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Just like kids. She's like, no, we're not.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Yeah, she's a mess, she's an ass.
- 31:34Speaker 1: They called her. What did shep say at the end.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Oh.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He was like she's an agent of chaos, and Craig
- 31:41Speaker 1: is like, she's a gossip mill.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know what it's good to have on
- 31:45Speaker 1: this show. You're gonna need it, guys.
- 31:47Speaker 4: So yeah, right, we were light already on content.
- 31:52Speaker 1: So yeah, well, I mean, look, we could have talked
- 31:55Speaker 1: about that farm for the entire episode and been okay.
- 31:59Speaker 1: But I did think it was funny. Also, the way
- 32:02Speaker 1: that Craig was like, I can't be friends with you
- 32:04Speaker 1: now because I can't drugs you.
- 32:08Speaker 3: He is middle school.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Like that was really clear, you know he is like
- 32:14Speaker 4: there is such an arrested development.
- 32:16Speaker 3: My god. Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Well Austin in the car just being like, oh yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I told her that we're done was kind of a
- 32:30Speaker 1: mouth drop because I didn't know we were going to
- 32:32Speaker 1: hear it like that this week.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I didn't either.
- 32:35Speaker 4: It kind of I didn't mind it like that, you know,
- 32:37Speaker 4: in a little confined space and to have them organic
- 32:42Speaker 4: h I mean, Rodrigo just like doing work on his laptop.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I can't tell you what that does to me. I
- 32:50Speaker 4: just appreciate his place on this show because I don't
- 32:54Speaker 4: think we've ever quite seen someone who's present a lot
- 32:59Speaker 4: but really checked out of like being on reality television.
- 33:04Speaker 4: It just seems like the last.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Thing on their mind.
- 33:06Speaker 4: And like, yeah, he has work to do, you know.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I just enjoy it.
- 33:12Speaker 3: I do it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Because he is. You know, when you're as an actor,
- 33:17Speaker 1: Deanna Chang, I know you you know the craft well,
- 33:21Speaker 1: when you're in a scene, you know, what do you?
- 33:24Speaker 1: What are? What are what's the direction that we're trained
- 33:26Speaker 1: to do? Have have your work, have your busy work,
- 33:29Speaker 1: even if it's not in front of you. You got
- 33:32Speaker 1: to have what's going on in your head? You know,
- 33:34Speaker 1: where are you if you're not in a scene and
- 33:36Speaker 1: you and you're not engaging with somebody else, Like, what
- 33:39Speaker 1: are you doing? You know, you're gonna you're gonna clean
- 33:42Speaker 1: off the window, You're gonna straighten this up, You're gonna
- 33:46Speaker 1: you know, you're you're gonna fix your hair, Like, what
- 33:48Speaker 1: are you doing? What is your business?
- 33:51Speaker 4: There's almost every mom for about the last twenty years
- 33:54Speaker 4: is gonna put some moisturizer on our hands at the
- 33:57Speaker 4: bedside table.
- 33:58Speaker 3: You know, these.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Ideas, those are the So when you were on a
- 34:01Speaker 1: reality television show and in a scene like that, yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: if you're just sitting there like a reality star waiting
- 34:10Speaker 1: for the next moment to put forth reality content, then
- 34:16Speaker 1: you psuch. But if you're just living your life and look,
- 34:20Speaker 1: maybe living your life isn't being on your computer and
- 34:23Speaker 1: you're just looking out the window. Great, but like it
- 34:27Speaker 1: being organic and it's just nice to see that he
- 34:29Speaker 1: actually has a life outside of getting to the destination
- 34:34Speaker 1: of the reality show cast trip.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and you can't tell me he couldn't take this
- 34:40Speaker 4: or leave it because it, just like he doesn't. I
- 34:44Speaker 4: don't believe it's important to him, and I love that.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I believe.
- 34:48Speaker 4: It's he's genuinely invested in these people. He genuinely knew
- 34:52Speaker 4: who Aubrey Audrey was, and that's great, you know, it's
- 34:56Speaker 4: like Aubrey.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I'm like, Oh, by the way, I wanted to tell you,
- 35:02Speaker 1: how did you feel about last week's episode when we
- 35:05Speaker 1: found out more about trop Hoop and trop Pop is
- 35:08Speaker 1: the beer that Austin tried to create and market and
- 35:12Speaker 1: sell and make a business out of, but it didn't work.
- 35:15Speaker 1: And you are a perfect testament as to how much
- 35:18Speaker 1: it didn't work because the amount of times that I
- 35:21Speaker 1: would bring up trop Pop, you would never receive it.
- 35:24Speaker 1: The name could never stay with you, and you never
- 35:26Speaker 1: knew what it was. So I found that really good
- 35:30Speaker 1: information for us that you know, shit happens, as you know,
- 35:34Speaker 1: when you're in business with people that like it can
- 35:37Speaker 1: go so left and you will have had nothing to
- 35:40Speaker 1: do with the you know, the detriment of what other
- 35:43Speaker 1: people did to your company, and it's like it sucks.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm glad you.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Spoked Whitney wild Rose. You know, it's like these things
- 35:53Speaker 4: just go laft it. Business is hard and most of
- 35:57Speaker 4: the time it doesn't work, you know, So yeah, I mean,
- 36:01Speaker 4: I do feel like he could have worked harder, but
- 36:04Speaker 4: that's over to the side.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I concur because there wasn't a time we've ever seen
- 36:15Speaker 1: him on his laptop in the car, crunching or anywhere else.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I mean, but I gotta say I did love the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Austin with a glass of chardonnay and cats just gossiping
- 36:28Speaker 1: with Madison on the phone.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I was like, is that me?
- 36:33Speaker 4: You well, you were right there for me because I'm
- 36:36Speaker 4: like you, you know, you're saying that they are and endgame,
- 36:40Speaker 4: and I thought like this is who he needed to
- 36:43Speaker 4: talk to. It was real, like, you know they I
- 36:47Speaker 4: do think you're right on that one.
- 36:49Speaker 3: I really do.
- 36:50Speaker 1: It's crazy maybe, And I also want to, you know,
- 36:53Speaker 1: throw a little wrench in my own theory for this
- 36:55Speaker 1: particular scene, only because like he's like, I just thought
- 36:58Speaker 1: i'd call you. Well, because she's on the cast. He
- 37:01Speaker 1: has to call someone on the cast in order to
- 37:03Speaker 1: get some sort of content. So it's not like if
- 37:06Speaker 1: they weren't on this show together, I don't know if
- 37:10Speaker 1: they would have that they will end up together, but
- 37:12Speaker 1: since they are in each other's lives, it could be
- 37:16Speaker 1: headed in that direction.
- 37:18Speaker 4: If they weren't on the show, her husband wouldn't be
- 37:22Speaker 4: okay with Austin calling her, you know, right, So that's that.
- 37:30Speaker 4: I do think the show keeps their love alive.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Yes, yes, absolutely absolutely, And how adorable is she and
- 37:40Speaker 1: she's going there and she's like, I hope I don't
- 37:44Speaker 1: have this baby out here, so cute and Sally being
- 37:49Speaker 1: so clumsy is so perfect for her, and she's just
- 37:52Speaker 1: like bleeding from the face.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Amy. I did want to just touch back because we
- 37:57Speaker 4: were trying about the car ride with Rodrigo and all
- 38:00Speaker 4: and Vanita. You know what I always think about with
- 38:03Speaker 4: these guys is they have been raised to be Southern gentlemen,
- 38:07Speaker 4: but they don't like without a woman right next to them,
- 38:12Speaker 4: they don't have it, you know. Yeah, Like Nitas hobbling
- 38:18Speaker 4: towards the car with bags every like, bags coming on top.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Of just been believable, unbelievable.
- 38:26Speaker 4: A try a little paper tray with two coffees, and
- 38:32Speaker 4: the thing that Austin chooses to do is take not
- 38:37Speaker 4: any of the bags to relieve her, but to take
- 38:41Speaker 4: his coffee which also makes your thing go like this,
- 38:45Speaker 4: and luckily she was steady.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that spoke more volumes than the amount of
- 38:52Speaker 1: seasons he's actually been on the show. What has it been,
- 38:55Speaker 1: six seasons? I don't know, but like that moment, I
- 38:59Speaker 1: am so glad that you pointed that out because that
- 39:03Speaker 1: speaks to trash.
- 39:05Speaker 4: Sorry, it's bad behavior, like wing would know sooner take
- 39:12Speaker 4: that coffee. He would be rushing to get the bags
- 39:16Speaker 4: off of her. Or he would take the tray and
- 39:19Speaker 4: place it on the ground and then.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Take that take both of the coffees from her, is
- 39:24Speaker 1: what That's what he should have done, because the bags,
- 39:27Speaker 1: she might want to arrange them in such a way
- 39:29Speaker 1: it would be hard to take the bags off of
- 39:31Speaker 1: her holding these coffee. You take the tray a coffee,
- 39:35Speaker 1: or you say, can I what do you want me
- 39:38Speaker 1: to take any Yeah?
- 39:39Speaker 3: Place it?
- 39:40Speaker 4: Make your hands free again? Yeah yeah, and be ready
- 39:44Speaker 4: to now assist so.
- 39:48Speaker 1: To take that. It's burning me up now more than
- 39:52Speaker 1: I even get.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Because it's like, not only was that incredibly just male
- 40:01Speaker 4: female forget about it, like I don't you know, but
- 40:03Speaker 4: you are a southern man, Like it's just so crazy,
- 40:07Speaker 4: But it also is just so reckless because that throws
- 40:10Speaker 4: off her equilibrium of holding a paper tray right among
- 40:14Speaker 4: the lot side of thing.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you, is what was he running
- 40:18Speaker 1: back over to that he had to go? It was
- 40:20Speaker 1: another cars because was it her she was getting into
- 40:24Speaker 1: his car with the dirty sweat socks, But like he
- 40:27Speaker 1: kept walking in another direction, and so I was so
- 40:30Speaker 1: confused at what his goal was. And you know, I'm
- 40:34Speaker 1: pretty I'm pretty prone to give people the benefit of
- 40:38Speaker 1: the doubt and say things like he must have had
- 40:40Speaker 1: an urgency over there, or like but like, no, when
- 40:43Speaker 1: you take your coffee and like to sip on, there's
- 40:45Speaker 1: no urgency, Okay, there isn't.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Amy It's crazy, honestly.
- 40:51Speaker 1: And then also if he easy was just on the show,
- 40:54Speaker 1: like if he just got cast and he's topsy turvy
- 40:57Speaker 1: because of the camera's here and this and that there
- 40:59Speaker 1: and his microphone, and like I'd also be like, Okay,
- 41:02Speaker 1: maybe he was just like I guess I'll take my
- 41:05Speaker 1: coffee because that's you know, he's new to that. No, no, no, no,
- 41:09Speaker 1: there's just I can't find an angle for this moment.
- 41:13Speaker 4: There is only one angle, which is you know, he
- 41:16Speaker 4: is thinking about himself, and he is not a gentleman,
- 41:21Speaker 4: and he's got a tremendous amount of work to do
- 41:24Speaker 4: and either I mean, his mom seems great. I don't
- 41:27Speaker 4: want to blame her or his dad, but something has
- 41:30Speaker 4: gone left here and you know, some home training has
- 41:34Speaker 4: not been done.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he acts like one of Sally's dogs right right,
- 41:41Speaker 1: just by the way, Audrey, you know, I'm glad that
- 41:45Speaker 1: she got out of this situation. And him talking about her,
- 41:49Speaker 1: saying like that she was losing herself. I thought was
- 41:52Speaker 1: interesting because that to me sounds like it's hard to
- 41:59Speaker 1: be dating some on a reality show. So she's going
- 42:02Speaker 1: to be pushed aside as wallpaper ultimately unless she's in
- 42:06Speaker 1: the muck of it, And that won't happen for a
- 42:08Speaker 1: few seasons because then it's like their relationship, their issues
- 42:13Speaker 1: are going to be what makes her interesting. So in
- 42:15Speaker 1: the meantime, it's like he almost he's got a tricky
- 42:18Speaker 1: situation he can't be with like enormy. I think he
- 42:21Speaker 1: realized that, but I also think he needs way more
- 42:25Speaker 1: excitement in his life. He needs the single life. He's
- 42:28Speaker 1: not done yet being single.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Not yet. Not yet.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Oh oh man, Well, well this was fun and thank
- 42:38Speaker 1: you very much. Deanna M. Chang. Everyone, if you got
- 42:44Speaker 1: get your montages from the Montage Queen Herself and head
- 42:49Speaker 1: on over to your sub stack, which is How to
- 42:52Speaker 1: Be Less Old by God and the podcast. Yeah, thank
- 42:57Speaker 1: you so much, and I will gosh, I'll be talking
- 43:01Speaker 1: to you probably probably texting you a little bit later.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 4: We'll always be having more than it is more today drama.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Absolutely, thank you, over and out, Deanna, over and out
- 43:13Speaker 1: and out, over and out. Let's head on over to
- 43:16Speaker 1: Whitner's Farm drama, Darla that Pool
