The 5 Things Everyone Is Missing In Their Onboarding Process · Build With Becky: Smart Strategies To Grow Your Community-Driven Business

  I've
• 0:00
  been
• 0:00
  designing
• 0:01
  a
• 0:01
  ton
• 0:01
  of
• 0:02
  onboarding
• 0:02
  flows
• 0:03
  lately
• 0:03
  because
• 0:03
  we've
• 0:04
  been
• 0:04
  doing
• 0:04
  so
• 0:04
  many
• 0:05
  builds
• 0:05
  and
• 0:06
  migration
• 0:06
  projects.
• 0:07
  And
• 0:07
  so
• 0:08
  I
• 0:08
  wanted
• 0:08
  to
• 0:08
  talk
• 0:08
  about
• 0:08
  onboarding
• 0:09
  and
• 0:09
  really
• 0:10
  the
• 0:10
  five
• 0:11
  things
• 0:11
  that
• 0:11
  I
• 0:11
  see
• 0:12
  everyone
• 0:12
  is
• 0:12
  missing
• 0:13
  with
• 0:13
  their
• 0:13
  onboarding
• 0:13
  process,
• 0:14
  whether
• 0:14
  we're
• 0:15
  doing
• 0:15
  an
• 0:15
  audit
• 0:15
  or
• 0:15
  we're
• 0:16
  designing
• 0:16
  a
• 0:16
  new
• 0:16
  one.
• 0:17
  Whenever
• 0:17
  I
• 0:17
  look
• 0:17
  at
• 0:17
  somebody's
• 0:18
  onboarding,
• 0:18
  I
• 0:19
  think,
• 0:19
  oh,
• 0:19
  my
• 0:20
  gosh,
• 0:20
  this
• 0:20
  is
• 0:21
  number
• 0:21
  one,
• 0:21
  not
• 0:22
  clear.
• 0:22
  Number
• 0:23
  two,
• 0:23
  very
• 0:23
  boring.
• 0:24
  Number
• 0:25
  three,
• 0:25
  nobody's
• 0:26
  gonna,
• 0:26
  like,
• 0:26
  follow
• 0:27
  through
• 0:27
  with
• 0:27
  this.
• 0:28
  And
• 0:28
  onboarding
• 0:29
  is
• 0:29
  such
• 0:29
  a
• 0:29
  huge
• 0:30
  opportunity
• 0:31
  to
• 0:31
  get
• 0:31
  people
• 0:32
  to
• 0:32
  engage
• 0:33
  in
• 0:33
  the
• 0:33
  way
• 0:33
  you
• 0:33
  want
• 0:33
  them
• 0:33
  to
• 0:34
  engage,
• 0:34
  to
• 0:35
  help
• 0:35
  them
• 0:36
  see
• 0:36
  success
• 0:37
  almost
• 0:37
  immediately,
• 0:38
  if
• 0:38
  not
• 0:38
  immediately,
• 0:39
  and
• 0:39
  for
• 0:40
  them
• 0:40
  to
• 0:40
  get
• 0:40
  real
• 0:40
  momentum
• 0:41
  going
• 0:41
  so
• 0:42
  that
• 0:42
  they
• 0:42
  actually
• 0:42
  log
• 0:42
  into
• 0:43
  your
• 0:43
  membership
• 0:43
  and
• 0:43
  use
• 0:43
  it.
• 0:44
  What
• 0:44
  people
• 0:45
  don't
• 0:45
  realize
• 0:45
  is
• 0:46
  that
• 0:46
  onboarding
• 0:47
  is
• 0:47
  directly
• 0:47
  tied
• 0:48
  to
• 0:48
  retention.
• 0:49
  When
• 0:50
  you
• 0:50
  have
• 0:50
  a
• 0:50
  really
• 0:50
  incredible
• 0:51
  onboarding
• 0:51
  experience
• 0:52
  that
• 0:52
  drives
• 0:52
  momentum,
• 0:53
  then
• 0:54
  you're
• 0:54
  going
• 0:54
  to
• 0:54
  see
• 0:55
  people
• 0:55
  stay,
• 0:56
  stay
• 0:56
  longer.
• 0:56
  They're
• 0:57
  less
• 0:57
  likely
• 0:57
  to
• 0:57
  cancel.
• 0:58
  And
• 0:58
  so,
• 0:58
  okay,
• 0:59
  let's
• 0:59
  dive
• 0:59
  into
• 0:59
  the
• 1:00
  five
• 1:00
  things.
• 1:00
  So
• 1:00
  the
• 1:01
  first
• 1:01
  thing
• 1:01
  is
• 1:01
  that
• 1:01
  I
• 1:02
  want
• 1:02
  you
• 1:02
  to
• 1:02
  set
• 1:02
  really
• 1:03
  clear
• 1:03
  expectations
• 1:04
  upfront.
• 1:05
  So
• 1:05
  this
• 1:05
  means
• 1:06
  in
• 1:06
  your
• 1:06
  first
• 1:07
  onboarding
• 1:08
  step,
• 1:08
  I
• 1:08
  want
• 1:09
  you
• 1:09
  to
• 1:09
  put
• 1:09
  a
• 1:09
  video
• 1:09
  where
• 1:10
  you
• 1:10
  say,
• 1:10
  hey,
• 1:11
  welcome
• 1:11
  to
• 1:11
  the
• 1:11
  community.
• 1:11
  I'm
• 1:12
  so
• 1:12
  glad
• 1:12
  you
• 1:12
  joined.
• 1:13
  I
• 1:13
  want
• 1:14
  you
• 1:14
  to
• 1:14
  restate
• 1:14
  the
• 1:15
  value
• 1:15
  prop.
• 1:15
  What
• 1:16
  do
• 1:16
  people
• 1:17
  get
• 1:17
  from
• 1:17
  being
• 1:18
  a
• 1:18
  part
• 1:18
  of
• 1:18
  this
• 1:18
  community
• 1:19
  and
• 1:19
  why
• 1:19
  did
• 1:19
  they
• 1:19
  join
• 1:20
  in
• 1:20
  the
• 1:20
  first
• 1:20
  place?
• 1:20
  Like,
• 1:20
  just
• 1:21
  remind
• 1:21
  them
• 1:22
  why
• 1:22
  they
• 1:22
  made
• 1:22
  that
• 1:22
  purchasing
• 1:23
  decision
• 1:23
  decision.
• 1:24
  Then
• 1:24
  I
• 1:25
  want
• 1:25
  you
• 1:25
  to
• 1:25
  tell
• 1:25
  them,
• 1:25
  how
• 1:25
  do
• 1:26
  people
• 1:26
  actually
• 1:26
  engage
• 1:27
  here?
• 1:27
  What
• 1:27
  do
• 1:27
  you
• 1:28
  expect
• 1:28
  for
• 1:28
  them
• 1:29
  to
• 1:29
  do
• 1:29
  and
• 1:30
  what
• 1:30
  do
• 1:30
  they
• 1:30
  need
• 1:30
  to
• 1:30
  do
• 1:31
  to
• 1:31
  be
• 1:31
  successful?
• 1:32
  Really
• 1:32
  spell
• 1:32
  it
• 1:32
  out
• 1:33
  like
• 1:33
  you're
• 1:34
  setting
• 1:34
  expectations
• 1:35
  with
• 1:35
  a
• 1:36
  child.
• 1:36
  Like,
• 1:36
  I
• 1:37
  want
• 1:37
  you
• 1:37
  to
• 1:37
  get
• 1:37
  so
• 1:38
  super
• 1:38
  clear
• 1:39
  on.
• 1:39
  Here's
• 1:39
  how
• 1:40
  you
• 1:40
  should
• 1:40
  behave
• 1:41
  so
• 1:41
  that
• 1:41
  you
• 1:41
  actually
• 1:42
  see
• 1:42
  the
• 1:42
  results.
• 1:43
  Because
• 1:44
  adults
• 1:45
  also
• 1:45
  need
• 1:45
  that
• 1:46
  direction.
• 1:46
  And
• 1:47
  how
• 1:47
  are
• 1:47
  we
• 1:47
  supposed
• 1:48
  to
• 1:48
  meet
• 1:48
  expectations
• 1:48
  in
• 1:49
  our
• 1:49
  life
• 1:49
  if
• 1:49
  they're
• 1:49
  not
• 1:49
  set
• 1:50
  for
• 1:50
  us
• 1:50
  right?
• 1:50
  Expectation
• 1:51
  setting
• 1:51
  is
• 1:51
  really,
• 1:52
  really
• 1:52
  important.
• 1:52
  So
• 1:52
  that's
• 1:53
  number
• 1:53
  one.
• 1:54
  Number
• 1:54
  two
• 1:54
  is
• 1:54
  that
• 1:55
  I
• 1:55
  want
• 1:55
  you
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  give
• 1:56
  them
• 1:56
  a
• 1:56
  really
• 1:56
  quick
• 1:56
  win.
• 1:57
  What
• 1:57
  is,
• 1:57
  I
• 1:58
  always
• 1:58
  ask.
• 1:58
  This
• 1:58
  is
• 1:59
  how
• 1:59
  I
• 1:59
  ask
• 1:59
  my
• 1:59
  clients
• 1:59
  in
• 1:59
  our
• 2:00
  workshops.
• 2:00
  I
• 2:00
  say,
• 2:01
  what
• 2:01
  is
• 2:01
  a
• 2:02
  thing
• 2:02
  that
• 2:03
  if
• 2:03
  everybody
• 2:04
  did?
• 2:04
  Like,
• 2:04
  when
• 2:04
  you
• 2:04
  talk
• 2:05
  to
• 2:05
  your
• 2:05
  community,
• 2:06
  when
• 2:06
  you
• 2:06
  talk
• 2:06
  to
• 2:06
  your
• 2:07
  customers,
• 2:07
  what
• 2:08
  is
• 2:08
  like
• 2:08
  the
• 2:08
  first
• 2:09
  thing
• 2:09
  you
• 2:09
  tell
• 2:09
  everyone
• 2:10
  that
• 2:10
  everyone
• 2:10
  needs
• 2:11
  to
• 2:11
  know
• 2:11
  and
• 2:11
  do
• 2:11
  that
• 2:12
  they're
• 2:12
  not
• 2:12
  doing?
• 2:13
  And
• 2:13
  I
• 2:13
  had
• 2:13
  this
• 2:14
  conversation
• 2:14
  this
• 2:15
  week
• 2:15
  with
• 2:15
  my
• 2:15
  client
• 2:16
  Andrew,
• 2:16
  and
• 2:16
  he
• 2:17
  was
• 2:17
  like,
• 2:17
  oh,
• 2:17
  I
• 2:17
  know
• 2:17
  what
• 2:17
  this
• 2:18
  is.
• 2:18
  It's
• 2:18
  like
• 2:18
  this
• 2:18
  one
• 2:18
  thing.
• 2:19
  It
• 2:19
  takes
• 2:19
  five
• 2:19
  minutes.
• 2:20
  And
• 2:20
  I
• 2:20
  tell
• 2:20
  every
• 2:20
  single
• 2:21
  person
• 2:21
  to
• 2:21
  do
• 2:21
  it
• 2:21
  and
• 2:21
  their
• 2:21
  mind
• 2:22
  is
• 2:22
  always
• 2:22
  blown.
• 2:22
  And
• 2:23
  I
• 2:23
  was
• 2:23
  like,
• 2:23
  perfect.
• 2:24
  And
• 2:24
  we
• 2:24
  made
• 2:25
  video
• 2:26
  two
• 2:26
  in
• 2:26
  his
• 2:26
  onboarding
• 2:27
  flow
• 2:28
  all
• 2:28
  about
• 2:28
  this
• 2:28
  quick
• 2:29
  win
• 2:29
  that
• 2:29
  they
• 2:29
  could
• 2:29
  do
• 2:30
  in
• 2:30
  five
• 2:30
  minutes
• 2:31
  that's
• 2:31
  already
• 2:31
  going
• 2:31
  to
• 2:32
  feel
• 2:32
  like,
• 2:32
  oh,
• 2:33
  my
• 2:33
  gosh,
• 2:33
  this
• 2:34
  is
• 2:34
  incredible.
• 2:35
  I
• 2:35
  already
• 2:35
  got
• 2:35
  this
• 2:36
  amazing
• 2:36
  result.
• 2:37
  In
• 2:37
  another
• 2:38
  client
• 2:38
  onboarding.
• 2:39
  We
• 2:39
  designed
• 2:40
  like
• 2:40
  a
• 2:40
  career
• 2:40
  audit
• 2:41
  worksheet
• 2:41
  so
• 2:41
  that
• 2:42
  they
• 2:42
  would
• 2:42
  get
• 2:42
  an
• 2:43
  immediate
• 2:43
  win
• 2:44
  in,
• 2:44
  like,
• 2:44
  understanding
• 2:45
  where
• 2:45
  they
• 2:45
  were
• 2:45
  at
• 2:45
  with
• 2:46
  their
• 2:46
  career
• 2:46
  in
• 2:47
  their.
• 2:47
  In
• 2:48
  that
• 2:48
  specific
• 2:48
  industry.
• 2:49
  Another
• 2:50
  way
• 2:50
  we
• 2:50
  do
• 2:51
  this
• 2:51
  is
• 2:51
  a
• 2:51
  personality
• 2:52
  quiz.
• 2:52
  So
• 2:53
  for
• 2:53
  a
• 2:53
  client,
• 2:54
  we're
• 2:54
  doing
• 2:55
  like
• 2:55
  a
• 2:55
  relaunch
• 2:56
  for
• 2:56
  this
• 2:56
  week,
• 2:57
  we
• 2:57
  added
• 2:57
  a
• 2:58
  personality
• 2:58
  quiz
• 2:59
  that
• 2:59
  gives
• 2:59
  them
• 2:59
  a
• 3:00
  specific
• 3:00
  meditation
• 3:01
  based
• 3:02
  on
• 3:02
  their
• 3:02
  result.
• 3:03
  And
• 3:03
  this
• 3:03
  is
• 3:03
  really
• 3:04
  interesting
• 3:04
  because
• 3:05
  number
• 3:05
  one,
• 3:05
  people
• 3:05
  love
• 3:06
  a
• 3:06
  personality
• 3:07
  quiz.
• 3:07
  I
• 3:07
  mean,
• 3:07
  who
• 3:08
  doesn't
• 3:08
  want
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  know
• 3:09
  what
• 3:09
  Harry
• 3:09
  Potter
• 3:09
  house
• 3:10
  they
• 3:10
  are,
• 3:10
  right?
• 3:11
  So
• 3:11
  adding
• 3:11
  some
• 3:11
  kind
• 3:12
  of
• 3:12
  quiz
• 3:12
  as
• 3:12
  part
• 3:13
  of
• 3:13
  your
• 3:13
  onboarding
• 3:14
  that
• 3:14
  gives
• 3:14
  them
• 3:15
  a
• 3:15
  specific
• 3:15
  result
• 3:15
  that's
• 3:16
  tailored
• 3:16
  to
• 3:16
  them
• 3:17
  that
• 3:17
  you're
• 3:17
  checking
• 3:18
  off
• 3:18
  that
• 3:18
  personalization
• 3:19
  box,
• 3:19
  which,
• 3:20
  like,
• 3:20
  the
• 3:20
  more
• 3:20
  personalized
• 3:21
  the
• 3:21
  better,
• 3:22
  as
• 3:23
  you
• 3:23
  know,
• 3:23
  throughout
• 3:23
  this
• 3:24
  whole
• 3:24
  onboarding
• 3:24
  process.
• 3:25
  But
• 3:26
  the
• 3:26
  quiz
• 3:26
  piece
• 3:26
  just
• 3:27
  feels
• 3:27
  like
• 3:27
  a
• 3:27
  lot
• 3:28
  of
• 3:28
  fun
• 3:28
  and
• 3:28
  they
• 3:28
  get
• 3:29
  something
• 3:29
  coming
• 3:29
  out
• 3:29
  of
• 3:30
  that.
• 3:30
  The
• 3:31
  third
• 3:31
  thing
• 3:31
  is
• 3:32
  I
• 3:32
  want
• 3:32
  you
• 3:32
  to
• 3:32
  help
• 3:33
  them
• 3:33
  build
• 3:33
  momentum.
• 3:34
  So
• 3:35
  as
• 3:35
  they
• 3:35
  go
• 3:35
  through
• 3:35
  their
• 3:35
  onboarding,
• 3:36
  they
• 3:36
  should
• 3:36
  be
• 3:37
  progressing
• 3:37
  toward
• 3:38
  their
• 3:38
  goals.
• 3:38
  They
• 3:38
  should
• 3:39
  start
• 3:39
  building
• 3:39
  the
• 3:39
  habit
• 3:40
  of
• 3:40
  logging
• 3:40
  in.
• 3:41
  And
• 3:41
  so
• 3:42
  one
• 3:42
  way
• 3:42
  we
• 3:42
  do
• 3:42
  this
• 3:42
  is
• 3:43
  through
• 3:43
  sending
• 3:43
  an
• 3:43
  email
• 3:44
  sequence
• 3:44
  that
• 3:44
  that
• 3:44
  encourages
• 3:45
  them
• 3:45
  to
• 3:46
  engage
• 3:46
  in
• 3:46
  new
• 3:47
  areas
• 3:47
  of
• 3:47
  the
• 3:47
  membership
• 3:48
  week
• 3:48
  over
• 3:49
  week.
• 3:49
  So
• 3:49
  we're
• 3:49
  kind
• 3:49
  of
• 3:50
  saying
• 3:50
  like,
• 3:50
  okay,
• 3:50
  you've
• 3:50
  done
• 3:51
  this,
• 3:51
  now
• 3:51
  I
• 3:51
  want
• 3:51
  you
• 3:51
  to
• 3:51
  do
• 3:52
  this.
• 3:52
  I
• 3:53
  actually
• 3:53
  just
• 3:54
  joined
• 3:55
  Dreamers
• 3:55
  and
• 3:55
  Doers,
• 3:55
  which
• 3:56
  is
• 3:56
  a
• 3:56
  community
• 3:57
  for
• 3:58
  women
• 3:58
  entrepreneurs
• 3:59
  that
• 3:59
  basically
• 4:00
  helps
• 4:00
  them
• 4:00
  with
• 4:00
  like,
• 4:00
  PR
• 4:00
  and
• 4:01
  visibility
• 4:01
  opportunities.
• 4:02
  And
• 4:02
  there's
• 4:03
  so
• 4:03
  much
• 4:03
  available
• 4:04
  in
• 4:04
  their
• 4:04
  community.
• 4:05
  And
• 4:05
  what
• 4:05
  I
• 4:05
  love
• 4:05
  about
• 4:06
  the
• 4:06
  way
• 4:06
  they're
• 4:06
  doing
• 4:07
  onboarding
• 4:07
  is
• 4:08
  that
• 4:08
  I'm
• 4:08
  getting
• 4:08
  this,
• 4:09
  like,
• 4:09
  emails
• 4:10
  dripped
• 4:10
  to
• 4:10
  me
• 4:11
  that
• 4:11
  gives
• 4:11
  me
• 4:11
  like
• 4:11
  one
• 4:12
  thing
• 4:12
  to
• 4:12
  do
• 4:12
  at
• 4:12
  a
• 4:12
  time.
• 4:13
  And
• 4:13
  that's
• 4:14
  really
• 4:14
  nice
• 4:15
  because
• 4:15
  we're
• 4:15
  not
• 4:15
  overwhelming
• 4:16
  people.
• 4:16
  A
• 4:16
  lot
• 4:16
  of
• 4:17
  times
• 4:17
  when
• 4:17
  I
• 4:17
  look
• 4:17
  at
• 4:18
  onboarding
• 4:19
  email
• 4:19
  sequences,
• 4:20
  they're
• 4:20
  not
• 4:20
  so
• 4:20
  much
• 4:21
  a
• 4:21
  sequence
• 4:21
  as
• 4:21
  much
• 4:21
  as
• 4:22
  they
• 4:22
  are
• 4:22
  a
• 4:22
  welcome
• 4:22
  video
• 4:22
  with
• 4:23
  a
• 4:23
  to
• 4:23
  do
• 4:23
  list.
• 4:24
  And
• 4:24
  that
• 4:24
  feels
• 4:24
  overwhelming.
• 4:25
  It
• 4:25
  just
• 4:25
  feels
• 4:26
  like
• 4:26
  a
• 4:26
  lot
• 4:26
  of
• 4:26
  things
• 4:26
  I
• 4:26
  need
• 4:27
  to
• 4:27
  do.
• 4:27
  And
• 4:27
  a
• 4:27
  lot
• 4:27
  of
• 4:28
  times
• 4:28
  absolutely
• 4:28
  none
• 4:29
  of
• 4:29
  those
• 4:29
  things
• 4:29
  are
• 4:29
  fun,
• 4:30
  which
• 4:30
  we'll
• 4:30
  talk
• 4:30
  about
• 4:30
  next.
• 4:31
  But
• 4:31
  it's
• 4:32
  like
• 4:32
  a
• 4:32
  to
• 4:32
  do
• 4:32
  list
• 4:32
  that
• 4:33
  isn't
• 4:33
  enjoyable.
• 4:34
  And
• 4:35
  so
• 4:35
  we
• 4:35
  want
• 4:36
  to
• 4:36
  build
• 4:36
  momentum
• 4:36
  over
• 4:37
  time,
• 4:37
  introduce
• 4:38
  features
• 4:38
  later,
• 4:38
  like,
• 4:39
  maybe
• 4:39
  there's
• 4:39
  a
• 4:39
  feature
• 4:40
  that
• 4:40
  they're
• 4:40
  not
• 4:40
  quite
• 4:41
  ready
• 4:41
  to
• 4:41
  use
• 4:41
  because
• 4:42
  they
• 4:42
  need
• 4:42
  to
• 4:42
  do
• 4:42
  some
• 4:43
  foundations
• 4:43
  first.
• 4:44
  Don't
• 4:44
  talk
• 4:44
  about
• 4:44
  that
• 4:45
  feature
• 4:45
  until
• 4:45
  they've
• 4:45
  done
• 4:46
  their
• 4:46
  foundations.
• 4:46
  Focus
• 4:47
  the
• 4:47
  onboarding
• 4:48
  on
• 4:48
  the
• 4:48
  foundations
• 4:48
  piece.
• 4:49
  A
• 4:49
  lot
• 4:50
  of
• 4:50
  times
• 4:50
  we
• 4:50
  do
• 4:51
  some
• 4:51
  kind
• 4:51
  of
• 4:51
  like
• 4:51
  education
• 4:52
  as
• 4:52
  part
• 4:52
  of
• 4:53
  onboarding,
• 4:53
  like
• 4:53
  the
• 4:54
  basics
• 4:54
  that
• 4:54
  they
• 4:55
  need
• 4:55
  to
• 4:55
  know.
• 4:55
  Because
• 4:56
  you
• 4:56
  want
• 4:56
  everybody
• 4:56
  to
• 4:56
  be
• 4:57
  on
• 4:57
  the
• 4:57
  same
• 4:57
  playing
• 4:57
  field.
• 4:58
  In
• 4:58
  one
• 4:59
  community
• 4:59
  that
• 5:00
  was
• 5:00
  very
• 5:00
  content
• 5:01
  focused,
• 5:01
  we
• 5:02
  had
• 5:02
  a
• 5:03
  meaning.
• 5:04
  They
• 5:04
  helped
• 5:04
  people
• 5:04
  with
• 5:05
  their
• 5:05
  content.
• 5:05
  We
• 5:06
  had
• 5:06
  an
• 5:07
  AI
• 5:07
  segment
• 5:08
  because
• 5:08
  it
• 5:08
  was
• 5:08
  important
• 5:09
  in
• 5:09
  this
• 5:09
  community
• 5:10
  that
• 5:10
  they
• 5:10
  understood
• 5:11
  how
• 5:11
  we
• 5:11
  do
• 5:12
  and
• 5:12
  don't
• 5:13
  use
• 5:13
  AI
• 5:13
  in
• 5:14
  content
• 5:14
  creation.
• 5:15
  And
• 5:15
  so
• 5:15
  we
• 5:15
  actually
• 5:15
  built
• 5:16
  that
• 5:16
  into
• 5:16
  the
• 5:16
  onboarding
• 5:17
  so
• 5:17
  that
• 5:17
  it
• 5:17
  was
• 5:17
  part
• 5:17
  of
• 5:17
  like
• 5:18
  the
• 5:18
  baseline
• 5:18
  knowledge
• 5:19
  everybody
• 5:19
  comes
• 5:19
  in
• 5:20
  with.
• 5:20
  So
• 5:20
  you
• 5:20
  can
• 5:21
  sort
• 5:21
  of
• 5:21
  think
• 5:21
  about
• 5:21
  this
• 5:22
  as
• 5:22
  a
• 5:23
  journey
• 5:23
  you're
• 5:24
  designing
• 5:24
  that
• 5:25
  helps
• 5:25
  them
• 5:25
  build
• 5:25
  momentum
• 5:26
  and
• 5:27
  really
• 5:27
  helps
• 5:28
  them
• 5:28
  focus
• 5:28
  on
• 5:28
  what
• 5:29
  the
• 5:29
  most
• 5:29
  important
• 5:29
  thing
• 5:29
  is
• 5:30
  right
• 5:30
  now
• 5:30
  that
• 5:30
  they
• 5:31
  should
• 5:31
  do
• 5:31
  first
• 5:32
  and
• 5:32
  gets
• 5:33
  them
• 5:33
  that
• 5:33
  like,
• 5:33
  quick
• 5:33
  win.
• 5:34
  So
• 5:34
  they're
• 5:34
  seeing
• 5:35
  momentum
• 5:35
  and
• 5:36
  results
• 5:36
  and
• 5:36
  it
• 5:36
  makes
• 5:36
  them
• 5:36
  want
• 5:37
  to
• 5:37
  come
• 5:37
  back
• 5:37
  and
• 5:37
  log
• 5:37
  in
• 5:38
  again.
• 5:39
  The
• 5:39
  fourth
• 5:39
  thing
• 5:40
  is
• 5:40
  that
• 5:40
  I
• 5:40
  want
• 5:41
  you
• 5:41
  to
• 5:41
  make
• 5:41
  it
• 5:41
  fun.
• 5:42
  I
• 5:42
  can't
• 5:43
  tell
• 5:43
  you
• 5:43
  how
• 5:43
  often
• 5:43
  I
• 5:44
  look
• 5:44
  at
• 5:44
  these
• 5:44
  and
• 5:44
  it's
• 5:44
  like,
• 5:44
  oh
• 5:45
  my
• 5:45
  gosh,
• 5:45
  this
• 5:45
  is
• 5:45
  like
• 5:46
  the
• 5:46
  most
• 5:46
  boring
• 5:46
  video
• 5:47
  sequence
• 5:47
  I've
• 5:47
  ever
• 5:47
  seen.
• 5:48
  Like,
• 5:48
  welcome
• 5:48
  to
• 5:48
  our
• 5:49
  community.
• 5:49
  We're
• 5:49
  so
• 5:49
  excited
• 5:50
  you're
• 5:50
  here.
• 5:50
  Here's
• 5:51
  a
• 5:51
  tour
• 5:51
  of
• 5:51
  where
• 5:51
  everything
• 5:52
  is
• 5:53
  now.
• 5:53
  You're
• 5:53
  going
• 5:53
  to
• 5:54
  go
• 5:54
  introduce
• 5:55
  yourself
• 5:55
  and
• 5:55
  then
• 5:55
  that's
• 5:56
  like
• 5:56
  it.
• 5:56
  And
• 5:56
  it's
• 5:56
  like,
• 5:56
  okay,
• 5:57
  well
• 5:57
  what
• 5:57
  do
• 5:57
  I
• 5:57
  do
• 5:57
  now?
• 5:58
  It's
• 5:58
  not
• 5:58
  clear,
• 5:59
  it's
• 5:59
  not
• 5:59
  fun.
• 5:59
  I
• 6:00
  didn't
• 6:00
  have
• 6:00
  any
• 6:01
  sort
• 6:01
  of
• 6:01
  exciting
• 6:02
  momentum.
• 6:03
  I
• 6:03
  didn't
• 6:03
  meet
• 6:03
  anybody.
• 6:04
  And
• 6:05
  so
• 6:05
  think
• 6:05
  about,
• 6:06
  you
• 6:06
  know,
• 6:06
  map
• 6:07
  out
• 6:07
  this
• 6:07
  journey
• 6:08
  and
• 6:08
  then
• 6:08
  think,
• 6:08
  okay,
• 6:09
  how
• 6:09
  can
• 6:09
  I
• 6:09
  make
• 6:09
  this
• 6:09
  more
• 6:09
  fun?
• 6:10
  Where
• 6:10
  can
• 6:10
  I
• 6:10
  surprise
• 6:11
  and
• 6:11
  delight
• 6:11
  my
• 6:11
  members?
• 6:12
  And
• 6:12
  don't
• 6:12
  just
• 6:12
  give
• 6:13
  them
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  giant
• 6:13
  to
• 6:13
  do
• 6:14
  list.
• 6:14
  Make
• 6:14
  it
• 6:14
  super
• 6:15
  purposeful.
• 6:17
  The
• 6:17
  last
• 6:17
  thing,
• 6:18
  number
• 6:18
  five
• 6:19
  is
• 6:19
  I
• 6:19
  want
• 6:19
  you
• 6:19
  to
• 6:20
  set
• 6:20
  a
• 6:20
  super
• 6:20
  clear
• 6:21
  next
• 6:21
  step.
• 6:21
  So
• 6:21
  your
• 6:22
  onboarding
• 6:22
  journey
• 6:22
  should
• 6:23
  always
• 6:23
  end
• 6:23
  with,
• 6:23
  okay,
• 6:24
  go
• 6:24
  do
• 6:24
  this
• 6:25
  thing.
• 6:25
  This
• 6:26
  could
• 6:26
  be
• 6:26
  start
• 6:27
  working
• 6:27
  through
• 6:28
  this
• 6:28
  particular
• 6:28
  curriculum
• 6:29
  or
• 6:29
  roadmap.
• 6:30
  It
• 6:30
  could
• 6:30
  be,
• 6:31
  I
• 6:31
  want
• 6:31
  you
• 6:31
  to
• 6:31
  RSVP
• 6:32
  to
• 6:32
  a
• 6:33
  specific
• 6:33
  event.
• 6:34
  I
• 6:34
  want
• 6:34
  you
• 6:34
  to
• 6:34
  go
• 6:35
  to
• 6:35
  a
• 6:35
  space
• 6:36
  we
• 6:36
  have
• 6:36
  in
• 6:37
  one
• 6:37
  of
• 6:37
  our
• 6:37
  communities.
• 6:38
  We
• 6:38
  have
• 6:38
  them
• 6:39
  fill
• 6:39
  out
• 6:39
  like
• 6:40
  a,
• 6:40
  like
• 6:41
  a
• 6:41
  survey
• 6:41
  sort
• 6:41
  of
• 6:41
  quiz
• 6:42
  thing
• 6:42
  and
• 6:42
  then
• 6:42
  go
• 6:42
  share
• 6:42
  the
• 6:43
  result
• 6:44
  in
• 6:44
  a
• 6:44
  space
• 6:45
  so
• 6:45
  that
• 6:45
  they
• 6:45
  can
• 6:46
  start
• 6:46
  a
• 6:46
  conversation
• 6:47
  around
• 6:47
  like
• 6:47
  what
• 6:47
  their
• 6:48
  result
• 6:48
  was
• 6:48
  or
• 6:48
  see
• 6:48
  what
• 6:49
  other
• 6:49
  people's
• 6:49
  results
• 6:49
  were.
• 6:50
  And
• 6:50
  that's
• 6:51
  really
• 6:51
  helpful.
• 6:51
  Cause
• 6:51
  we're
• 6:51
  starting
• 6:52
  to
• 6:52
  drive
• 6:52
  connection
• 6:53
  and
• 6:53
  people
• 6:54
  have
• 6:54
  these
• 6:54
  things
• 6:54
  in
• 6:54
  common.
• 6:55
  And
• 6:55
  then
• 6:56
  we're
• 6:56
  also
• 6:56
  able
• 6:57
  to
• 6:57
  get
• 6:57
  some
• 6:57
  really
• 6:57
  good
• 6:57
  data
• 6:58
  on
• 6:58
  where
• 6:58
  members
• 6:58
  are
• 6:59
  at
• 6:59
  and
• 6:59
  like
• 6:59
  have
• 6:59
  them
• 7:00
  start
• 7:00
  sharing
• 7:01
  is
• 7:01
  really
• 7:01
  great
• 7:01
  for
• 7:02
  accountability.
• 7:03
  Okay,
• 7:03
  so
• 7:04
  those
• 7:04
  are
• 7:04
  the
• 7:04
  five
• 7:04
  elements
• 7:05
  that
• 7:05
  everyone
• 7:06
  is
• 7:06
  missing
• 7:06
  in
• 7:06
  their
• 7:06
  onboarding
• 7:07
  process.
• 7:07
  To
• 7:08
  recap
• 7:08
  it,
• 7:08
  set
• 7:09
  really
• 7:09
  clear
• 7:09
  expectations,
• 7:10
  give
• 7:10
  them
• 7:11
  a
• 7:11
  quick
• 7:11
  win,
• 7:11
  help
• 7:12
  them
• 7:12
  build
• 7:12
  momentum,
• 7:13
  make
• 7:13
  it
• 7:13
  a
• 7:14
  fun
• 7:14
  experience,
• 7:15
  and
• 7:15
  set
• 7:15
  a
• 7:15
  super
• 7:16
  clear
• 7:16
  next
• 7:16
  step.
• 7:17
  And
• 7:17
  through
• 7:18
  it,
• 7:18
  all
• 7:18
  the
• 7:19
  more
• 7:19
  personalization
• 7:20
  the
• 7:20
  better.
• 7:21
  So
• 7:21
  if
• 7:22
  you
• 7:22
  can
• 7:22
  give
• 7:22
  them
• 7:23
  a
• 7:23
  specific
• 7:23
  action
• 7:24
  based
• 7:25
  on
• 7:25
  who
• 7:25
  they
• 7:25
  are,
• 7:25
  what
• 7:26
  their
• 7:26
  goals
• 7:26
  are,
• 7:26
  you
• 7:27
  can
• 7:27
  build
• 7:27
  in
• 7:27
  an
• 7:27
  onboarding
• 7:28
  call
• 7:28
  that
• 7:29
  get
• 7:29
  helps
• 7:29
  them
• 7:29
  with
• 7:30
  getting
• 7:30
  their
• 7:31
  specific
• 7:31
  direction
• 7:32
  on
• 7:32
  what
• 7:32
  they
• 7:32
  should
• 7:32
  focus
• 7:33
  on.
• 7:33
  Whatever
• 7:34
  that
• 7:34
  looks
• 7:34
  like.
• 7:34
  I
• 7:35
  just
• 7:35
  want
• 7:35
  you
• 7:35
  to
• 7:35
  add
• 7:35
  personalization
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  the
• 7:36
  process.
• 7:37
  Cause
• 7:37
  that's
• 7:37
  gonna
• 7:37
  make
• 7:37
  it
• 7:38
  more
• 7:38
  and
• 7:38
  more
• 7:38
  sticky.
• 7:39
  Okay,
• 7:39
  that's
• 7:39
  it
• 7:39
  for
• 7:40
  today.
• 7:40
  If
• 7:40
  you
• 7:40
  want
• 7:40
  help
• 7:41
  designing
• 7:41
  your
• 7:41
  onboarding
• 7:42
  process,
• 7:43
  book
• 7:43
  a
• 7:43
  call
• 7:43
  with
• 7:43
  us.
• 7:44
  I
• 7:44
  have
• 7:44
  a
• 7:44
  free
• 7:44
  call,
• 7:45
  Free
• 7:45
  strategy
• 7:45
  call.
• 7:46
  Link
• 7:46
  in
• 7:47
  the
• 7:47
  show
• 7:47
  notes
• 7:47
  and
• 7:48
  if
• 7:48
  you
• 7:48
  love
• 7:48
  this
• 7:48
  episode,
• 7:49
  share
• 7:49
  it
• 7:49
  with
• 7:49
  a
• 7:49
  friend.
• 7:50
  It
• 7:50
  means
• 7:50
  the
• 7:50
  world
• 7:50
  to
• 7:51
  me
• 7:51
  and
• 7:51
  I'd
• 7:51
  love
• 7:51
  to
• 7:51
  hear
• 7:52
  from
• 7:52
  you.
• 7:52
  Let
• 7:52
  me
• 7:52
  know
• 7:53
  what
• 7:53
  really
• 7:53
  stood
• 7:54
  out
• 7:54
  about
• 7:54
  this
• 7:54
  episode
• 7:55
  and
• 7:55
  what
• 7:55
  you'd
• 7:55
  love
• 7:56
  for
• 7:56
  me
• 7:56
  to
• 7:56
  cover
• 7:56
  in
• 7:56
  a
• 7:56
  future
• 7:57
  voice
• 7:57
  note.
• 7:58
  Talk
• 7:58
  to
• 7:58
  you
• 7:58
  next
