- 0:00[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to another episode of the social proof podcast with your favorite business coaches, David and Donnie.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_04]: I'm Donnie.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: My name is David.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, we got an exciting interview.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to have a really good conversation.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_04]: In fact, we believe that this is going to be the best conversation that this young man has had.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_04]: He is a street legend.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_04]: Street legend business mogul corporate gentleman.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, corporate gentleman.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_04]: I like it.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_04]: I like it.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_04]: And he is in the streets right now on his latest tour.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_04]: Y'all, we're fanning out right now.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_04]: We are super excited to bring young, cheesy.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them would have done what's happening.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: Man, thank you for coming man.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is really, really exciting.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it's more exciting because
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: The world has seen your transition from music to finding the person who was bootlegging you.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember it.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: You had the streets all fired.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: They kick it down.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: The letters at all.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you remember them days.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's one on one.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: I learned the hard way.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: The bootleggers helped me out.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: They really didn't even know I felt like because you got to understand with my first album, it got bootlegged.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe like four weeks before the album came out.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought the world was in, but I had no idea that that was like free promotion.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: When did you start to settle in?
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, well, this is okay that I got to play.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: When, well, two things happened when I realized it, that's what I had been doing anyway.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: I gave away, street's watching, DJ drama, I gave away, trapper died, hundreds of thousands of copies.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: So this was nothing different.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then I didn't have to pick the single.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, so survivor, we kept going back and forth.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, let me just put it on my next album because I felt like it was too commercial over record.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: And uh, was I wrong?
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yeah, do you a little trapping that thing, but we going with this?
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it was, it was the best free promotion I could have because you got to think that that's what Boot Legger's wearing every market.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it was like places that I couldn't even physically get to.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: There were already up on the album and the music.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: And when the album came out in the so, when ninety something the first week, I'm like, okay.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then they kept going one night.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's next week, one eighty one seventy.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: And right now we're almost two and a half three times platinum.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know what?
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Something you did.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty something years ago.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you're actually about to celebrate.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_04]: Is it the twenty?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, twenty of anniversary right now.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on tour with people from York, you neck of the woods, Adam Blackstone, sounds like the enemy, helped me produce the tour, the color of noise, orchestra, and Derek Hodges.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's conducting, he wrote the music, and it's nothing like seeing
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: Trap a die like written in music notes.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: You don't see it.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let's stand in no vacancy.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: Let me look at that.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's a different level.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: My whole vision was to inspire and help to evolve the coaching.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: People who remember that album and when it came out, they remember those days when it was hustling, because we all were.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: For twenty years later, like, look at us, we entrepreneurs, we own companies, we own business, we're doing podcasts, but we buy a real estate, and this is like a celebration for all those who came up at that time.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: So to see, you know, my people in there suited and booty dressed to the nines, both ties and evening gowns, and celebrating the hustle.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: You don't get no better than that, man.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_04]: That has to be an incredible feeling.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_04]: The tour for clarity.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_04]: So everybody understands the tour that you're on right now is a symphonic performance.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, symphonic tour.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: We actually did twenty three cities.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: Atlanta's coming up.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Savannah's Friday.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't know when this drops.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, we're going to, uh, to Jersey.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm saying.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: And Dallas and Houston and everywhere else.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it ends in Detroit, which is
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, got to do that.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_04]: The evolution, Jay-Z, is incredible.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_04]: Being a man who was a hustler, like the street guy, what was the spark for you that kind of transitioned to say, you know what?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: I want to clean this image up and be more suit and tie, be more professional and touch the streets in that way.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was always my goal and dream to be professional.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like I always saw myself in the suit, you know, good skin.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know what you're so incorrect?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: That was the goal.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: It didn't seem like it.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like you had to go through the phases of it, but that was the goal to get there because in order to get there, you had to go to war with
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: the most worthy of worthy of opponent, which was yourself.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to learn a different type of discipline.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: I had to learn a different type of resume.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: I had to learn being open minded.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: I had to learn that it's best if I wasn't the smartest person at the room, but to take while I had to learn like
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: letting go of things, I couldn't control, I had to learn a lot of things.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: And as you start to do that, you know what I'm saying?
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: You start to get into this space of like, okay, this is me.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the hardest part was, and what's the one you probably thought I was doing that for everyone?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know or understand if I was going to be accepted.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: Something, because it was like, geez, in a dicky suit is much more different than Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, because of the tucks.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like, how do I get people to see my vision and to grow with me?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: Because trapper died.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when I came in the game, I said, I was corporate thugging.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I understood that, but I had to package it in a way that it was palatable.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: and digestible for people who come from where I come from, because if you didn't put the thug in with it, and you just said corporate, I'm not going there.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, which is, you know, while a pop, you know, he made thug life a thing, because the average person seeing that, they're like, okay, that's a bunch of hoodlums, but now this is a guy that was a revolutionary to understood.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: This is how you mobilize people.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: You tap into what they understand, and then you give it a movement, you know, saying, and for me,
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: I just had to figure out how to get to that place.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I had this vision in my head of what that suit was going to be.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I literally would dream about this.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when I wasn't having nightmares about going to prison, you know, I'm saying, that was real.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: I used to wake up deep sweat.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just really hoping that that wasn't my end all beyond.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: I had a vision of myself in this blue suit that was pen strike, white shirt, burgundy tie.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: And when I tell you when that came to fruition, what was happening to me at that very moment when I realized this is the suit when I was getting pen to be a part of a hundred black men.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: Which is something I strive for.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: And what better man to be in a suit than one of the hundred black men.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I looked around and I saw hundreds of brothers that looked like me.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: There was happy that I was becoming a part of this.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, this was division.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: This was supposed to happen.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: And they accepted me because I did the work.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: You said I'm saying I didn't just come straight out of the Dickie suit and put this blue suit on and just act like I'm a part of this.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: I went through trials and tribulations to get to a point where I had to go to world myself.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously I won.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I got to the point where now it's like not that I'm accepted.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: I gave myself permission to evolve.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I saw this explanation.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: I saw this video of it was Jay-Z, and I think it was Damon a bunch of people around him, and it was like, I don't dare yell it, and Jay-Z was sitting there like, and you could tell, like, he's like, all right, this isn't me anymore, right?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Was there a moment that you can remember?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because you had me fooled, I was against the rapper.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't like, everyone was my DJ, too.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man, I told you, what was your guess?
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you, I told you
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: I beat people up.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't shot so many people in my soul.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was crazy.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I just remember watching you and I'm thinking, bro, I want to be that on.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to, I want that.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I want to be.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: But was there a moment that happened where you're like, okay, that something's changing inside of me.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it was all the moments.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was all up and it was just like getting home and making it home safe going damn.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I did it again.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see if I could do it tomorrow.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: Or making it to Christmas and going okay.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I made a Christmas so I'm not incarcerated.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So okay, that's good.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Now how do I?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's every day, every second, every millisecond of the day, you know, you're free to me.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: Your life is it's up for grabs.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: But I was smart enough to know that if I could make it to the other side of that, I can have a life
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I can tell you the quality of life for the people around me.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: I remember when my mother's trailer wasn't even bigger than this room.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: For three of us, me, my mother, my sister.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like...
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that wasn't my life.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now, let me say this, I did grow up abroad.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I had a understanding of a world that most of my friends and peers at that time didn't understand.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: I was coming back to the hood, man.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's beaches out there.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's pieces that people that talk differently, different food.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like my sushi game is impeccable.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: One of my best friends is name is Cole.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: His mom used to make us make our own sushi every time I spent the night of his house.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I just, and I still take myself on sushi dates, actually I took my daughter yesterday, and I go at least once a week to just remind myself of that's what got me back.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was my moral compass, knowing the quality of life.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where it gave me the light, because it was like, if I get stuck in the hood, ain't no more the things that I like.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: There's no more beaches.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's no more living.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: There's no more waking up and just being like okay, because when you live in from a place of scarcity and survival, that's a different life.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: You don't care about nobody but yourself.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I hear people say things like, oh man, you know, he used to be this way in that way.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: When that was in percent, I'm all the things.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: But I gave myself permission to change, so you can't hold me to that.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to stay alive, bro.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't, you know how that go?
- 10:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you're on a stranded on the boat and on a raft, and it's just like, I'm trying to survive.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to, like, I'm not worried about you.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just like you're not worried about me.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like,
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: When people try to bar shoe in there what you used to be, that's what gives me the fuel and the strength to keep going because it's almost like, that's the person you knew fifteen years ago.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then you know, I would hurt somebody else for you.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I do that now.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: I might live big money on what I've had.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: I got things to do.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm not, but that's the part I didn't like.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what the part that kept me going.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm, I'm, to answer your question, it's like,
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that I had to go through these things to get to where I met and I can tell you most people don't want to face themselves.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's it right there.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: You had to unlearn some stuff.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, a lot.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_04]: I'm thinking about like our audience, their entrepreneurs, and there's a lot of men specifically who are tuned in right now, who have your history, that are still very connected to the street.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_04]: They don't know how to disconnect, right?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_04]: But they want to grow.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_04]: They want to evolve.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_04]: You had to unlearn some stuff.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_04]: You talked about facing some challenges and going to war with yourself.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_04]: Can you
- 12:01[SPEAKER_04]: Deeper into that for a little bit.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was just like I had a bunch of unhealthy habits that was based on survival.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Even the way I looked at things looked at people.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't trust anyone.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no one.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_04]: I see that.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, my dad relationship so tiny now he's in my crib, you know, chilling and like, it was a time why I didn't even trust him.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: Not that he did anything wrong, but just come up the way I came up.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was pulled from a life that I knew.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: I got put back into her and I was
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: forced to survive, you know, I'm saying, because my parents got divorced.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: My dad and go back and, you know, finish his duty as a Marine.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm here in my mom and my sister back in the neighborhood.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm learning quick that the most aggressive, you know, guys in the hood or the ones that are eating and running, and it's like being put back in the jungle as a lion.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: And you was at the zoo.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I had to learn quick that because I went that route.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I became, I was just, you know, step mom just said it the other day.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, you know, I switch you wherever you're young.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, nah.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, yeah, you still always be worried about everybody else.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I went from that to being
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: of straight up minutes, because I just want to survive at this point.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: And the more that went on, I started to see things that I didn't understand.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like one of my first real friends who taught me how to hustle, Marcus Climbers, I'll talk about it in my book.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: you know, auntie taking me to school one day and then she said, you know, Marcus got shot.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: I said, okay, well, cool, I was seeing when I get home from school.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, nah, baby, he gone.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, gone, where?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm not processing the fact that you can lose your life, you know what I'm saying?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm seeing my uncles and my cousins and, you know, people that I, you know, respect it, like they're going away to prison.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, when he coming home, it's like, baby, he got like twenty years.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, where?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty years.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they tell me college.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what it is.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm starting to pick up on this and I'm going like, oh, this is real.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: And if I'm gonna keep going this way, I'm gonna crash out because this is, so now I gotta be smart.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: And so now I'm becoming a student.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: And if I can quit my job today, I would be a four-time student to learn.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: So when people thought that there wasn't any value,
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: and sitting down and talking to older people, I took it upon myself, and it was very intentional about sitting around.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: People that were older to me, and just listening, and just understanding what they went through, because there's always some gems in everybody's story, and I'm like, tell me about that.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: How did that happen?
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: What'd you do?
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm staying curious.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: And that was my playbook, and that's how I've been got to get smarter.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now I was outsmarting people, you know, in this crazy, because me and Master Pete had this talk one day.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, yes, he murdered with this average, but I was the thinker.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that's how I felt.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I was the thinker, you know what I'm saying?
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I was able to like get all the older guy and the statue of limitations that is up.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna say that.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was able to get all the older guys in the hoods money and be like, yo, I'm gonna see my people, you know, in Friday.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I would take their money, you know what I'm saying?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm not nickel and dime, but I'm taking their money, but I already got what they need.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: I just go sit in my grandma house to hide out for, you know, a couple of days.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: And they add, like I went out of town and came back, give everybody money.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I everybody love me because I'm building trust trustworthy.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking out for people.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: And now I'm a lucid and I got mystique because I ain't hanging on the corner in the block no more.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm playing basketball.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, you know, I'm saying, I'm doing, you know, kids stuff, but I'm making real money.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to tell this.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: This is about sixteen.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I would tell anyone, you know, I'm saying, like, your superpower is thinking.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: Your superpower is taking time to process, which a vision is, and understanding how you're going to execute it.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: And even if you don't have all of the information,
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: as somebody you trust because somewhere near the footprint of how they got to it will help you.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of things you can do with five hundred dollars.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can have a night out with your significant other.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: You could buy some really expensive shoes.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Well, really nice shoes are about double five hundred dollars.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: You could buy a course or you could learn something for five hundred dollars.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: But I have something better for you to do with the five hundred dollars.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: I want to meet with you every single morning for the rest of your life.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe not the rest of your life, but every morning Monday through Friday for the rest of the year.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: I have information in game that have allowed me to build a successful business, a successful community, and a successful life all the way around.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to share that with you, but the only way we can accomplish this is not me selling your course, not me giving you a one-on-one consultation because even with that, you'll get the information, but you'll need more.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: I want to meet with you every single morning.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what I meet with someone every morning for five hundred bucks for a year
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: And the answer is yes, actually we've been doing this thing since two thousand seventeen we have what's called the morning meet up every single month we have a theme whether it's social media whether it's motivation whether it's strategy whatever it is we have a theme for the month and every morning in that month
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: We have a conversation around that topic, and I am giving a wealth of knowledge, not only myself, but a lot of friends, a lot of people that you see on this podcast, they join every single week.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: So you need a community of people that you can grow with, and you need a coach.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm your coach, the morning meetup is your community.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: Go to the morning meetup.com, it's four hundred ninety nine dollars, and I will meet you every single morning for an entire year.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Give it a shot.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I started to understand, because my cousins ran that land.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: They were the first guys to ever really get it like that.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're like legends from the Cater.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I should just watch them all the time.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: I just was a student.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I just watched things they did.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I learned a lot, but I also learned what not to do, and then how to carry myself as well.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because it wasn't really like
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: There wasn't really aggressive people.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: They just had Savoir fair.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: They just made you want to be right.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's very charismatic and I'm just like.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's cool.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: How do I do it?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then with the older people, I started picking up on boys.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I was something that I had to battle to because I was very aggressive.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was very I rate.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: I was very polarized.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: But I wanted to be boys.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I started to hang around people that was really this spoke just enough.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: really kept their composure.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't really know what that.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I love Miss Bernie's King.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you ever said what it like, she's like the best daddy.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: You cannot read nothing she's thinking.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: Martin Luther King did a great job, you know, but that was a goal of mine.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: And that took, you know, over decades to achieve, but it also helped me with my business.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: And then the poison.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: How was able to get these deals like Edge, which we're launching next week, and it's energy drink and defiance view, and obviously on to Keyler and all these veterans that I got in two is.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: You're sitting in the room with people who feel like if this doesn't work, they're gonna lose their job.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel like that.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is something that I'm enjoying doing.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: So when all these problems come, I'm not looking at this as the end all be all I'm going.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let me think through this.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'll say, oh, why don't we just do this?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody goes, you're brilliant.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going, no, I'm calm.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking at this thing, and I'm looking at the long game, and I understand that this is the best way to get from A to Z, right?
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: Without being distracted by the noise.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: The noise is if this doesn't work, then this company's gonna take because I'm gonna lose our money.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: When I got my obvious on to Keyla deal,
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: The first thing I said was, and shout out to Ken Austin, who's one of my mentors, he said, let me give you a half a million dollars to put this in small songs.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I looked at him, I said, nah, I said, I tell you what, when are you playing the cell?
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: He said, five years.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: He said, even better.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: Don't give me a dime.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: wrote on the piece of paper.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: This is how much equity I want on the ship.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you in five years.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: What year is this?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is oh eight.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: How old were you around about?
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: I was I was thirty something like so you were in the game so you understand it.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I've lost enough now.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I've went on so many changes that I've lost enough to know that.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, and I accident of questions.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: Who was your first teacher?
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: Who was like, I was just coming in.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, oh, I'm understand.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: Who's your first teacher?
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm gonna be honest.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: I have many teachers.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'll steal to, yeah, to this day.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm not the same to take any information, information, anybody, however.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: The conversation I had three weeks before I went inside with Ken was with Nipsey Hustle.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: We were sitting in New York and was having dinner.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: He was telling me about Bitcoin, which I thought he was crazy.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, hey, you know where in the hell I'm going.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then we started talking about equity and ownership.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: And we just kind of got into it.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: And we was just going back and forth, back and forth.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: We just talking about it.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: And it just so happened a couple weeks later.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: I walk into this meeting with Ken Austin about Obyan and the only thing in the back of my mind is just like, don't take no money, just tell him you want equity.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying the ownership and I was just stuck on that, because I'd already did a Belvedere deal and I did a Serac thing, which I didn't sign up to do.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: I just mentioned it in Super Freak and then they gave me all this money.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: And it was just like, they want me to be a sub-rock boy, but I'm like, I'm a grown man, I don't know anybody's boy, like, to that one.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: I started to understand around this time that I don't want to put my name with nothing that has instant gratification.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: Because this was high, this was going on.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: Because around that time, I was starting to really work on my health.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't understand
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: And to I understood that at that time, Sir Rock had a lot of sugar, had a lot of syrup, all these things.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I was drinking to Kila from a lifestyle perspective because it was clean.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I can drink it.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you thought.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: Right, it's time.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then now,
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: I get in with this obvious and I'm actually drinking it and I actually like it because it's clean.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's a boutique brand so it's not like mass produced and I'm like, you know what?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: I like this.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: So when you brought it to me, I was like, you know what I can.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to take any money from you.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: I said, but I will be a partner in this, and I never forget, I bet on myself.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: And when he flew in, when we sold it to Pernobre car, because we sold it, then we sold our shares, and I had a buyout.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I still got paid after the fact on every case that was sold.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that was based on the conversation we had in that pad.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you say, like, yo, I didn't take the money.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I want to echo the people get excited, but if we don't know, you had a conversation with somebody, you got some game and you actually applied the game and that conversation.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: But that's major.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I have been hearing it, but I didn't understand it.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: I guess if I be in Nip, I wasn't scared to ask the questions.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because I felt like he was safe.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know, me and Nip, we barely taught music.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: We like traded books and talked about different stuff.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: We was in tune and stuff like that.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: And that's the thing, people see your avatar.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_04]: But aggressive to the streets, but you're saying a whole lot of stuff that's like you're hitting a whole lot of points.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_04]: You went through a part where you were focused on your health journey.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_04]: You said you and Nick were sharing books back and forth.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_04]: Or some of the books that you remember sharing back and forth with him.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: uh... man just uh... man it was just so many was just different was but i think the uh... i know the secret i know uh... you know everybody there's a forty laws of power shout out to rob a green that's my boy now i do i do uh... i do a tea with him when i'm in l.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: There were several books, but it was just like, in passing, like, what are you reading?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I tell them when I'm reading, and it might be, you know, any of the classic self-help books.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: That was the thing.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I'd be like, I'm on this.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he'd be like, I'm on that.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, okay, cool.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm like, I'm reading the audacity because now I understand that.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: This ain't about just women like this is helping you navigate, you know, doing deals because now you know how to pull people in or saying I'm reading books like how to, you know.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: become a people person like how to like because you know a lot of the time I was closed off.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: But then I had to learn how to open up a little bit and how to share stuff with people and like how they really like you know like because if you can't if they can't trust you they're not going to do business with you.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: So it was those type of things.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think you're being this visionary?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's something that you're born with, so you might be hustling, Neha's sling, you see, all right, I wanna get out of here, and I'm gonna make it up money to get out of here, and they just don't see it.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think I should do an environment?
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: Or you just born with a brain to be able to say, yo, try it music, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it, send it,
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: You would be surprised by just saying something if it resonates with someone to see how they light up and to see how they see your vision.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like a partner.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like you can have a
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: Great business, but if you don't have a great partner, that business may not flourish.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: For me, I will say I think that I was born with it because I remember my Auntie told me one day.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: She's saying your sister's book smart because my sister's like brilliant like he's student like she was always you know, I was terrible in school.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm sad dropped out and they'd great But she said you're you're street smart and I never understood what that meant and to I understood what it meant and then I started to understand that I can think my way through and out of anything and then also That I can see things that I can't
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: describe to anyone else, but myself.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's honestly an explainer.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, it's out of my guy's act.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about the first, um, symphony show.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: And it was like a one and done.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: But in my mind, I'm like,
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: There's an album.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: There's a tour.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: There's a whole thing to bring the culture together so we can celebrate this thing.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: It is not about just the twenty years.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's about celebrating my people as well because
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be in a different place than they were because they're they're open to this.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: They're open minded.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're coming there.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: They don't even know what they're coming to see.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, most people think a city is going to be boring.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: Go sit down and till they get there feel realized that they never even sit down once they stand up.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: But I saw that.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not even a conversation we had.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: I knew that going into it.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, the soon I touched that stage.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm standing on the stairs.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: I thought, I gotta take this on to it.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is amazing.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, you know what?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: I need an album.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: Cause it has to go with it.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: And the album has to drop on the same day as the anniversary.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: Cause that's going to mean something.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it has to be in Atlanta.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: All this is going to make it.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: And one time.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it's hard to explain.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: But then I learned that you can't really share.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: all this was somebody at one time because they'll discourage you.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: And once you share it, it takes away like fifty percent of that thing you got because it's in you.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't understand that you're like, hold on, maybe it isn't clear.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, you get this guy.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: And just to go back just to double down, I remember when we put streets watching out and we passed on all these CDs at the birthday baths, which is Atlanta, Summer Jam.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I knew that we had to just go there.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: All the hottest artists are going to be there.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's going to be there.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: If we can give up, it's forty thirty thousand people, twenty five thousand people in honest.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: If we can give up thirty thousand CDs, we're going to get some traction.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: So that was to go.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: We gave up thirty thousand CDs.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now we get traction.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: Then we're going to all the hottest night clubs.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: You can't lead a club without us getting a CD in your hand or putting on your window.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: So now I get my first show with this club.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's a two hundred dollars, but who cares?
- 29:37[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: I got I'm getting traction.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: But and I go.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: I need to do another tape, but this tape is going to have a release date.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: This tape is going to have some visuals and this tape is going to have a documentary because now people are starting to gravitate to the music, but they don't know what I look like.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know who I am.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: So that's how the Trapper Die and the Trapper Die DVD came.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: Because I was like, I got to put something with this.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember sitting in the studio with Jazzy Faye, tricked that thing like, man, this is the dumbest ever.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now you're giving away your music.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't think that far.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: I just saw the vision.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I've done it, which was great because I wouldn't be here if I didn't do it.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: And those songs still resonate.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: But just as, you know, God, we're having when you go to the universe, now you can stream it.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I never gave it away for free.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't foresee the streaming coming.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: I just know, go with your spirit.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to work itself out.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I did.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: And even now, when I, you know, sometime when I'm even in the gym, let me go see what can't be in the snowman.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I play and I just smile because I'm going to be giving that CD away.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm saying, I remember like literally putting in people's hand.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's another thing, too.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: I actually built the solid fan base because I was shaking hands and kissing babies.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: Then people remember getting no CDs for me.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know, my granted, I was in a Ferrari, but I was practicing the CD.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: I was on the grind.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: That was a clear difference between you and other rappers.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: Because rappers, they think song to song, club to club with the women, money, let me get an advance for you, sauce.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: You see the whole field.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: What I think, this is the thing though, I was, even to this day, I never considered myself a rapper.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Never.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: I looked at it as a position of leadership.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just had to become a better leader every day.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: I know that for my spirit.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: When I woke up this morning, I prayed and I meditate.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, help me to see something.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: I can't see and value to my people and to stay on this path and not get distracted.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: walk with me with that.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't be nothing else.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean that whole hearted.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is not an act.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is not from money.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is not my, I live an amazing life.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I could be good now.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need much.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm not like your average guy.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't got dirty cars in my garage.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, you know, I don't got a bunch of stuff.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need, you know what I'm saying?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's leadership to me and the music and the books and my actions all wait to express that and and and I call it eulogy qualities.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like when I'm no longer here
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I want people to stand up and say, you know, he helped me in a way he didn't understand.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he was there for me.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: And what really touched my heart with that is why I remember being a Jamaican one year.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I was there for vacation.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm one of the guys who was there was like, you know, he was like, you need to go up to seven miles, which is where Bob Molly is from.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: And you can walk through Bob Molly's house, where he grew up at.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: And it's very small house up in the mountains.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_00]: But as soon as you got to that town,
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody had a story about Bob.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like one guy was like some guys jumped him and Bob helping beat him up.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: The guy was like this happened to him and Bob loaned his money.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: My money and Bob paid for somebody's funeral and Bob was always the one that was taking care of the kid.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: This was before he was Bob Marley.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: And to me that just was like, wow.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: Right, because I love the music, but now I love the man.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, man, this man is amazing.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like all these people in the reason why they wear those T-shirts and when you go there, they're proud of it.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's their guy.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's everywhere.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's everywhere.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_04]: That's their guy.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_04]: The cultural impact.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_04]: This is obviously purpose work for you.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_04]: Something that you're deeply, you've made the money, you have the fame, you have all the fans.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_04]: You could literally just
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: Go somewhere and disappear.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: Why do you keep doing this work?
- 33:40[SPEAKER_04]: Is it because you see the younger versions of you and you're trying to keep them off that path early?
- 33:46[SPEAKER_04]: Or is there something different for you that makes you stay committed to this?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a spiritual thing.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: Very spiritual, but I also feel like it's my obligation.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: Culture changed my life.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like I could have been in prison.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: I could have not been here.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like I could all that could have happened.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: I could have never sold a record.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: I could have never been on the stage.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: I could have not.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's like my obligation.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the big home.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: I hate OG.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: So don't call me OG.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: That didn't cool about that.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's my obligation.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: I have to make a decision every day.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like I had to make a decision right now to come here and go sit with my girls.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm going to see when I leave here.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I was just like damn if I can go just get this in and touch my people.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can kind of take this out and go play with my girls because to me that's I'm a father, but I still got a job to do.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: They're saying about the money.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: There are people that are watching your platform that I can help that I need to go do because that's my obligation because if I didn't do that and they didn't do what they did for me, I wouldn't even have the time to go play on my children.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: They allow me a life that gives me time and freedom to do.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, things that I can do, they gave me a life of joy, peace, and freedom.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Of course I had to do my part, but they allowed me to do this.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: So what type of person would I be to take all that and go run to the heels for myself?
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 35:06[SPEAKER_04]: When you take on responsibility like that, though, there's a lot of heavy days where you feel like you're responsible for so much.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_04]: And you need to disconnect.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_04]: What does GZ do to disconnect and come back into your cup?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I like solitude.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have a place that you can hide in the home?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got some acres.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got some acres.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: So when you see me on Instagram, or you know, I've really posed, but I just thought I'd share the walking my property, taking a hike, just being in my space.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: I like solitude and that comes from when we were younger.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: I bought my mom a trailer.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_00]: The trailer was like thirty five hundred.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: For the trailer, like the wind would have blew the way.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: And we lived on the back road.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: There was near the town where my grandmother was from.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: But I never understood what my mom loved that so much.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: But as I got older, I started to understand, oh, that's peace.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's being away from everything and everybody.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll go like,
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, to my places where I bought places where it just set up for me and I can go by myself and I can go read right I love the study.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: I love the journal.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: What do you love to?
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever I'm into self help understand like right now I got this A I thing going on my head so I was telling my guys I got a group of guys
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: that it really like some some dope brothers.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: We have this thing called a summit where we got these big group text.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: We always looking out for each other, leaning in each other, pouring in each other, supporting each other.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, hey guys, we gotta go and I gotta call Tony Robbins about it because I want to know who he would go to.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to bring this person to Atlanta and do a retreat.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, for a couple of days, we get to ask all the questions we need to understand about AI because I kind of feel like if we don't
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: get a grip on it, we're gonna get left behind.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: But these are like real business men.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because all these summons I'm going to, all these people are talking about AI and I'm just like, yeah.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, you know, I know how I use it, you know me, but I'm not maximizing it.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I've been kind of digging in there.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: Just a lot of spirit to work.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: Just a lot of self-healing work too, because I like to be able to be there for my friends and my community when things come up.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: Because I know as a black man, it took me a long time to really understand that therapy is okay.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: It took me a long time to like,
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: be on a flight and be journaling.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't gotten a therapy, man.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: It seems almost, man.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_04]: Talk about the adventure to get this guy in therapy for years.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: Do you journal?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's still my thoughts sometime, but here's the thing.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how therapy will, someone's asking me questions about my feelings.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not even them asking you questions.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: This is you having a safe place to talk about and process things that might have happened that you might didn't understand.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: I had a lot of things happening when I was younger that I didn't understand.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's from a family dynamic of being put back in a situation where this is the norm.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't understand that.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: Give me one thing that you like through therapy, you are able to like untied and not say, you know, okay, I feel free from this now.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I had people that I felt like there were adults in the situation that did things to me, not like crazy things, but like, stole from me, took from me, you know, tricked me, manipulated me, lied to me, which was one of the reasons why I entrust nobody.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: Especially, you know, people who are supposed to be looking out, and that
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: As I got older, because you know, he hits you about like, thirty, thirty, five.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I started on this day and I'm like, why don't I trust my friends?
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is crazy.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 38:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm calling people friends that you had no trust for.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right, because now it's, it's a transaction with me.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying it's a one-off.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, all I gotta do is just sit down and have this conversation with you.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't gotta see, you know, move full much.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm thinking.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: But like now I love, like I come up for it.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: When we do it, man, come over here.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, this thing I was just talking just, now I'm comfortable.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like I used to be like, like my dad was sitting on the sofa.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: I go sit over there.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: He never done that to me, but it's what happened to me in the past.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: So through that therapy, they're just not opening up today.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: World's, and then I can have a conversation, because he might look at it like, I ain't never done that.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: My dad's a great man.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's a solid guy.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: But I can tell him not how hard he had to do with you.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was more so mean.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: And then also it gives me grace with other people when I'm dealing with other people.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: And they're acting the way I'm like, okay, he got some things going on.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let me give him a little space.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: And then you know, let me let him know what's cool.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Have these conversations.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: And you gotta think about it.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying any numbers because the last time I said the numbers, I'm like, he's gotta be lying.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have lost so many people.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like I couldn't even put a number on it.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I had came to a point in my life where I was okay with that.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I swept another drug because she's a part of life.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also I had built up this defense mechanism of just don't care.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: So that means I didn't have any empathy for anyone.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_04]: Tears didn't look like you.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_04]: I was just like, you can sit there for me and cry, not because of all this loss that you've experienced, whether it was losing people close to you, to gun violence or death.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: Do you believe in forever?
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: With relationships.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Do I believe in forever?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_04]: I work with men like you and they're so good with saying goodbye.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_04]: Because of all the loss that they've experienced, like, they feel like people are going to leave them anymore.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_04]: So they never go into a situation thinking, this will really be forever.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's a, yeah, I'm dealt with there.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's a fear of abandonment for sure.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's never a fear of abandonment.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: But that's the thing, you know, you gotta be comfortable with you and know that you're enough.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: And that takes work.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I'm good now.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I agree.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's one reason for the solitude.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: When you go in, you sit in the mountains for yourself for five or six months.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just you and you dealing with you and you don't need anybody else when you come back around for us.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying everybody can do that.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I took a solo trip.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: I take solo trips all the time now.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I will never do that.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying, but once I got to the point where I was good with me, I was okay knowing that I'm don't, I'm flying small, I'm cool.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_04]: Back down.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: You did that guy, so it was cool for people to want to be around me, just like I want to be with them, but then also it opened me up to like seeing people.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see people before my work.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: I would just be around and know them.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: and know them enough to call them in the quings, but I didn't see them.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's good.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 42:00[SPEAKER_04]: That's good.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_04]: Because we talk, go ahead, I'm sorry.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm trying to understand the value in that though, because like you said, y'all, if someone disappoints me, it's just, all right, it is what it is.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I was there.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm that way today, because it protects me.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like I understand most people are going to hurt you.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I, oh, yeah, they all are.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: Most people are going to disappoint you, right?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: They all are, but it depends on what you can deal with.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because everybody's going to disappoint you.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: The kid's going to disappoint you.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: Your best friends are going to disappoint you.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you know, Chloe's everybody is what can you do with, right?
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: But what you're saying to me is that the fence mechanism and I had that, I'm with you on that.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm like, yeah, you do that I'm good.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: But then it's just like, that's a fifteen year relationship that really is just going to take some massage and I have some stuff out to understand with this other person that's coming from because clearly something's going on in there and too.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean by seeing people, it's just like you just see how dope they are, how cool they are, how real they are.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I had a problem with receiving, you know, nobody could do nothing for me.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying, gifts were like, I myself, I only do it.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, somebody take time to do something nice for you.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: I always felt like that there was an arterial motive.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I realized it, what am I saying?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: They're really like, here for me.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_04]: How do you realize that?
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because it could be something you do to work on yourself and over time, just knowing that they are good people and I say this, it took me almost thirty years in my life to realize, even with my guys group now, that they are good people out here.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: It took me like a, I mean, you gotta think, you know, living from survival, you know,
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: your best friend or stab you in the back.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you shouldn't hate it.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: For survival, but then when you realize people who are really there to support you, to be there with you through your good times and your bad, that's what even with a partner.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's always gonna be good, good times, what about the bad times?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it's gonna be things that you go through is like, you make it sick.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: You may not be in your best health.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you can lose a limb.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: You can lose a child.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can lose anything.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like who's going to be your support system?
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, everybody in this world, you know, is born alone.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: But that don't mean we got a be alone.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to tell you the world doesn't get smaller.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: the world that you built in the people that are around you will make that same world better.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I love nothing more than sitting on my backyard by the poofs, mocks of gold, my bros.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, what you got going?
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fascinated by what they're talking about and what they're doing, but like this is real quality time, like you point in the people.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like my kids, I'm out of the world.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I went to my daughter's dinner guest today.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to know everything.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, it's tell me this, tell me this.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you watching anime?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on with it?
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: But she's so cute.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_03]: She's so dope.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: She's so cool.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: A little style and the way she does things.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like I see her.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a point of my life.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see people.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just looked at them as if.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it is what it is, you know, and whatever.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: But now I actually see people and people going through stuff I have empathy to the call them.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, that's the best feeling in the world.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: Because when you like, it's like when you can feel a bro like, that's a whole other life though.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: They're nothing like being numb.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: I was looking at my friends telling this story one time my wife is on a panel and started crying and I remember you and I'm like, dang how you do that.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: I've cried to you.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to feel anything.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm crying to enjoy it or I can say that.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: I've been very happy about things that are small things, and I'm just like, thank you guys, like, just thank you.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: You spent time celebrating the small things.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: I forget to win, you know, my blood type is being positive, so I'm not smart.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're living in something.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: Staying.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm going to get me to stay dinner.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get up.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: Nice glass of wine, because you got to celebrate yourself even your small things, you know, so even things that you overcome.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I think once you get in, and I know this is not for, you know, everybody all at once,
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: But when you get to that point, when you can celebrate yourself, other people are celebrating it and it'll make you want to win more.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then when you lose, you can say, okay, how could I done that better?
- 46:29[SPEAKER_00]: And what did I learn?
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: And just go for me.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: I had like nobody's perfect.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not perfect.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: I know a perfect way to do this.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I never celebrated myself.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: I saw me as a wreck.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: I never celebrated.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: seven records.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: I was just happy to be there.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: But this is the first tour that I'm doing that I actually did a toast with everybody on the tour before we took off in Miami.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: It was like the dopest ever.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's like we had this champagne and everybody said this is going to be great and toast in and I'm just like, oh my God, this is crazy.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember the last time I've celebrated it.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: And like my wife will put something together and we have a birthday party who are like, we're doing event together and it's a celebration, but I'm doing it because it's something that we're doing.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't internally feel my wins.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very emotionally mean.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I didn't hear it.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: I just can't.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: I can't.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: I can't.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: I can't.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_02]: I can't.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's like picking a partner though.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: Because you got to have a right person and you got to trust them and you got to feel comfortable.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I would just say, you know, just start slow.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: And just, you know, you don't have to give them everything only once.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: You could just kind of have some conversations.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but also, you know, give yourself permission this year.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: Cause it's like a, like a soda, like you know, you got a sprite.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: And, um, when you twist that top, it fizzles out.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yes.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: And all that stuff you're packing in is, it's just, it's going to keep packing until you expose.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: And until you yell at your kids one day or flip out on your employees or do something crazy, you're gonna be like, damn, I gotta figure this out because it's almost like it's you at that point.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're the leader of your household, you gotta be even killed for everyone else.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you're leading how, we communicate, you're leading how we share, you're leading how we celebrate.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I know what's easier said than done.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: But it's almost like, if I can describe it, it's almost like the difference between driving a Nissan and a Ferrari.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: There is a difference.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's, there's a difference.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's like it's, it's, it's, it's, it's the things you want, it's that day you're not going to forget when that sunset hit and you had that top drop and you had to fake what's your favorite music, what's your life?
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there you go.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: You got that brim and night go.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_00]: You want that ground.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: Not brim.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: Not brim.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm amazing.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: What's it like?
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm amazing.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's a little rowdy with it first.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, but it's just like there's clearly a difference in the reason why
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm even out parading this and saying this is if we were all on a desert and we was all stuck in the desert and I came to you and brought you a cup of water.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: You asked me where did I get that water from?
- 49:56[SPEAKER_00]: So why bring you to cup when I can come show you the fall.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: You see I'm saying it's like, he's over here from like, it's only you.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_00]: Take the walk and drink it.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: But it's here.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, I can't drink all this water myself.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I rather just show people because
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I kind of put it with being saved as it's like, I'm not a religious person, I'm a spiritual person.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: But if I had this awakening where my life was a certain way with all this turmoil and all this bad energy, and I just had this awakening moment, and I just started to see life through a clear lens, which is why even now, like I used to keep shades all out of time.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like, I want people to see my eyes.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: And you want to be saying, I want to be saying, I'm like, I don't want to hide behind that.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm never seeing anyone with other than that.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 50:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, see me, you know?
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I love when I'm out and I greet people and they're like, oh, how you been, man, I'm like, I'm good.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I re-vibrations better now, energy.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: I can tell when I don't want to be around somebody because they got negative energy.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: Before I would get an end spaw with them.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you ain't tougher to me.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: You ain't smarter to me.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: You ain't rid of the meat, but it's like, nah, I'm cool on that now.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Let the energy be bad.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, yeah, I'm going to go ahead and roll, bro.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm cool.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I get back home to these thousand count Italian sheep.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm saying.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm saying.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's like, that's something, bro.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's starting to make sense.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: When I saw it, I was like, that's a cool idea because it's like two different worlds and it's kind of merge.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a cool idea.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: But it's making sense now because of who you are.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it seems like that style of music is another part of you.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's starting to come out.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: I would say it's been about six years that I haven't been inspired.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: Because everything is just so the same.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's stagnant.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like it's two computer rides, two perfect.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_00]: If you go back and listen to some old school music, it flows.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's not even all on the same.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's ways.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: It flows.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: hearing, you know, I listen to classical music in the morning when I get up in the acoustic music, just to set my tone for my day.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I get the good stuff in when I'm in the gym, but it's just like when I get up, I just like it calm.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_04]: Frequency music.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it just kind of just, you know, it's just, it's just, you know, it's just, do you believe in manifestation?
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you do.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: These are, you're speaking my language.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think the thing is, it is what it is.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's learning everybody's trying to figure it out.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can think it is.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: You can think it's not.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: You can think the world is coming to an end.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: You can think the world is just beginning.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's all in your head.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: This is the story you telling yourself.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: So if I'm going to tell myself a story, I want to tell myself a good story.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: Good story.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: At least that.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_00]: And work towards that.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, once you get into that frequency and a vibration, you'll be surprised at how many doors just open up.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I'm, I'm not even going home.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, it's sometimes I don't even have it all figured out.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, there's no way this is happening now.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is amazing.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even plan it.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm saying it just, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: Damn, and I just sold me that I'm going with the universe and I'm going with my spirit.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: But if you in alignment with yourself and you're moving, you're moving with integrity and you're moving with intention, why wouldn't it come to you?
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like if you look at a GPS and you're trying to get from here to Miami.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's the way.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying this.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, just stay on that way.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_00]: It might rain in Tampa.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: It might not rain in Orlando when you come and do it.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: The sun might be out of foot.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of there right when you get there when you get to Miami.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: You want to be my destination.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: And now you got all that time doing joy Miami.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_00]: And the right back, maybe good, maybe great, whatever, but you made it to your destination, but you was heading that way and you was intentional about it.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_00]: And when you're not intentional about it and you're just getting up and you live in life, I mean, whatever, you know, whatever.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, anything else.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's so important.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, anything I have to do.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing I learned though is just like even when bad stuff happened, don't, don't, don't.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, don't don't like feel like, you know, the world is going in, just by me.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's to set you back for a bigger play.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: What area are you struggling with in your life right now?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like one mind emotionally, what?
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm struggling.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm struggling.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm struggling.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've a fifteen year old daughter.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: And emotionally, I'm trying to figure out how to reach her, right?
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a struggle for me, right?
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: So, for you, what is an area of opportunity for growth?
- 54:55[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for sharing that, bro.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you just, I was going to say, so I feel comfortable saying, yeah, we just open up together.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: My struggle for me is just, like, with things going so well and things moving so fast, I just don't want to miss the time of my kids.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that's like harder to balance than I would like.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm doing my best and I'm working on ways to have more freedom in time.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: Because I just want to make sure, especially with girls, you always want to be a part of their lives.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't want to miss the moments, but I also like being with them, they cool, like they're fun.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's another thing too, because it was a time, and I love my son, he's the best.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: But it was a time even with my son.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I just had to go do what I got to do.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I, he would understand that because he's a young man.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: But what girls is different.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_00]: And, and, and with my journey, now I feel it.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: When that door explodes on the plane, sometimes lost.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying, I want to go home.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be on my babies like I feel it.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: And to me, that's like I never felt like that before.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's scary, but it's real.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: And as an entrepreneur, visionary, you keep doing stuff that causes you to be a way more, right?
- 56:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is the thing though.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is the second half of my life.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm allowing myself with things that give me more time, that are more impactful.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_00]: Right, there's served my purpose that I can build and help build the next generation of leaders so that they can go out here and take the baton and I can be more of an advisor.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: I could be more of somebody like the people the way I call a robin's sermon, a TDJ or a Tony Robins or a bastard a young or people that I, they're not working like that.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: And if they are, they still got instructions.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_00]: You got to look at your pie and go, okay.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: It was eighty-twenty, eighty music, twenty business.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: Now it was eighty-twenty, eighty business, twenty music.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: And that eighty-mute and that eighty business, I'm gonna carve out, I'm gonna take that down to a sixty or a fifty-five because I need at least that time for my family, for my personal growth guy, for my time with my friends,
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: for my vacation for my solo trips.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: I like to take.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: I need that.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me a better person.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me a better father.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me a better leader.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me a better son.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I need that.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: But it's just like that's got to be the goal because money is great.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: It is, but you got to think.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_00]: At some point when all the bills and everything is paid, all the other stuff is just excess unless you're going to give it away.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're just working to be working and not working to us something, you're going to bring yourself out.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: And the last thing you want to be is like older and you tired and you train and you're not a good health.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: and you try to spend time with your kids after the fact of trying to spend time with your friends, because it's just like we all get busy, but I make sure I hit my people at least, you know, every little moon, you good, every thing straight, you need anything, which got going all day long.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_00]: If it's just a quick bite, let's do it.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_00]: If it's just a quick, you know, walk.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 58:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like, let's just do it.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just hang out for a minute.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: We ain't got to be together all day.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know we used to go to Magic City, but we ain't got time for that.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got time for that.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_04]: If you could think of something that you want more of in your life now.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_00]: Freedom.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_04]: What does that mean?
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's my love language, freedom.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, freedom to, you know, travel, freedom to travel with my family, like, freedom to go spend some quality time with a friend that lives somewhere else.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I never went somewhere for a month and I had to worry about nothing.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like I got to come back.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: I got things to do.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: But like if I had like I just a month to go to, I don't know, you know, Africa to see my, my oldest daughter's family and just be there.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying without having to worry about my phone.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: We have the freedom, but we keep creating more stuff.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: But that's what I'm working on now.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're just just getting it to a point where okay.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: But you see that one that looks like.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because that was a time like I would literally like tour all year.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they know now, this, you got, you got from this point at this point.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: When you call me, but even with business, this is like, you guys got until five o'clock.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's a five o'clock.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: Don't call me.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I'm in the mountains.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: Call who you need to call.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: Don't call me unless it's nine one one and have a resolve.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to hit a problem.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: I want to know how you're going to fix it and we'll keep it moving, but it's just like I need that time before I was so available.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't, if you don't respect yourself for your time, nobody else will.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then also I had to learn how to delegate as well because we as people and I'm just saying people is human beings like we always want to save money I want to save this I want to save that or I don't want to hire somebody to this when you're hiring people you're delegating them because that gives you more time And that's what I had to our brother pay somebody to do this because he's extra two three hours that I'm gonna have
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_00]: I can do something that really is going to charge me and fuel me so that I can be better, you know, when I get ready to do my next venture or whatever it is.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: And to answer your question, the things that I'm creating or it's trying to create are things that I hope.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_00]: give me the time and the freedom that I need to live.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we all said you wanted to live the best live our best life.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think about that every day.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you live in your best life.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: Did you do what you really want to do today?
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, if you live in your best life, I'm beyond what you're brought.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_00]: The money is going to come.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_00]: You can go out here.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I said it?
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: I said it.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when you're done.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it is.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_04]: You're a little older.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that I love house music, deep house music, everybody knows.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_04]: No, jeezie, that's not a good one.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: They trip over there.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_00]: What do you listen to?
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_04]: Give me this silly thing.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, everybody knows.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: We take family vacation, everybody at my house.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: You do anything in the morning.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_00]: Anything in the morning you want to do to contribute to how we eat, but you don't test eggs.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because I got to cook the eggs and you know what I'm talking about.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: It just stop in my skills.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: My daddy had the eggs laid out.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, yep, they're for you.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I got to pay.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_00]: See you on the eggs.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_04]: All right, what can we expect at Thought Motivation, one-on-one symphonic performance?
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: For one, I need you guys to pick up the copy of the album that comes out July, twenty-six.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know when this is Aaron.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_00]: Before this is a symphonic version of the album, Doug Motivation one-on-one will be available, make sure you get that.

- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it's like.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: My soundtrack for the last twenty years.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sure.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_04]: I was against the rapper too.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_00]: What was your game's name?
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_04]: Donnie.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_04]: I was done.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_04]: But when I wrote my rap.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you serious?
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_04]: For sure.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_04]: When I wrote like the your verse on Love In This Club, you got to verse it.

- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_04]: I do.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_04]: You've heard, we got a song called Coast Star that I wrote as a, um, being inspired by your verse on Love and His Club.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_04]: First of all, you are, you are my favorite solo rapper of all time.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen you.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_04]: You are the goat when you are on a song.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_04]: You can literally see your lyrics playing for hours.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_04]: So to see you take this and put symphonic music behind it, I can feel the energy and we're not even there in the room yet, right?
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_04]: You've just done an outstanding job, geez, your legacy is gonna live forever.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_04]: I believe that the motivation paved the way for so many artists still to this day.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_04]: And you know you are that man when today, your music from twenty years ago sounds relevant in this time.

- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I kept saying, no, I'm just, I'm good.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_00]: And for the happen organically, that's all you can have a wish for.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because it wasn't something that I even had to do.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I did have to have somebody sit there with me explaining to me what was going on.

- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_04]: But if we were able to say that we had GZ on the social proof podcast, he felt like he was in his living room.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_04]: Favorite interview so far all time.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_04]: And then he gave us some ticket.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'll be great.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's the chair.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: You have to be a gangster, right?
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_00]: Next five years, I would just, you know, hope and pray for more freedom, just more understanding of who I'm becoming and also my impact.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's my dream to impact a hundred, you know, million lives, you know, while I'm here.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I just want to get closer to that goal.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think what's going to allow me to do that is having the freedom to be, you know, creative and being spaces and rooms that I wouldn't normally have the time to be, you know, I'm saying.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_00]: So if that's mentorship, give it back to kids, shout out to the urban leave of Atlanta.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a young CEO of a program with them.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be amazing.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to El Presidente, also shout out to the list.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a prostate cancer screening with them.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing a book by bag drive and everything in between with list and gradie hospital on the twenty six, which is the day at Anniversary.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to be a gradie.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be at the church close to gradie doing prostate screenings and giving our book bags and stuff to keep.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see how we got help with the young CEO.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: So because we teach entrepreneurship.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would love that.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, even like, I know a lot of these kids, you know, are in the podcast, so I would love for them to come see how y'all.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we go into the schools, we mentor kids, youth, all the things to hire, ever, we can help with that.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_00]: So going just close.

- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_00]: Words of wisdom.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: I say, you know, be on the apologetically you and just know that you are enough and whatever you're doing, I just leave it better than you found it.

- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_04]: In the comments, I need you to drop your favorite line from GZ of all time.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_00]: Not the song.
