- 1:34Speaker 6: hearing from Reddit user h and a Ryder, featuring voice
- 1:37Speaker 6: work by Matt Bradford, and we have some late night visitors.
- 1:49Speaker 2: This story happened to me back when I still lived
- 1:52Speaker 2: at my parents' house. I was commuting to college at
- 1:54Speaker 2: the time and had three siblings that also lived at home.
- 1:57Speaker 2: My brother and two sisters for some contact.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Next.
- 2:00Speaker 2: We lived on five acres in rural Ohio, surrounded on
- 2:03Speaker 2: both sides by woods and farm fields. Now, additionally, during
- 2:06Speaker 2: the week my dad normally left for work at two AM,
- 2:09Speaker 2: so I'd always felt like it was my job to
- 2:11Speaker 2: be the man of the house because he was gone
- 2:13Speaker 2: during the times we would imagine something sketchy happening. However,
- 2:17Speaker 2: on this night, because it was the weekend, my dad
- 2:19Speaker 2: was home, I woke up to the sound of my
- 2:22Speaker 2: brother's voice trying to get my attention. We had separate
- 2:25Speaker 2: rooms upstairs, and coming out of our rooms you could
- 2:27Speaker 2: look down over the banister and see our front door.
- 2:31Speaker 2: When I woke up, it took a few moments to
- 2:33Speaker 2: get out of the haze and realize what was going on.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I looked at the clock and it was around two
- 2:38Speaker 2: thirty am, and my brother told me that there were
- 2:40Speaker 2: two men at our front door. Now this really woke
- 2:44Speaker 2: me up. We quietly walked out of my room and
- 2:47Speaker 2: peeked over to look down at the front door. When
- 2:50Speaker 2: we looked, there was no one at the door, but
- 2:53Speaker 2: I had noticed my parents off to the side out
- 2:55Speaker 2: of view of the glass of the front door. I
- 2:57Speaker 2: whispered down to my dad, and he told me there
- 3:00Speaker 2: were two guys who had been talking to each other
- 3:02Speaker 2: and knocking on the door. Hearing my dad say this
- 3:05Speaker 2: freaked me out even more. I went back to my
- 3:07Speaker 2: room and grabbed my pistol, quickly shuffling down the stairs
- 3:11Speaker 2: after looking to make sure they weren't at the door.
- 3:13Speaker 2: If they had been, that he would have easily seen
- 3:15Speaker 2: me coming down the stairs, as it is in direct
- 3:17Speaker 2: view of the door. Now my brother's right behind me
- 3:21Speaker 2: as we head over to where my parents are whispering
- 3:23Speaker 2: to try and find out what is going on. My
- 3:26Speaker 2: parents had woken to the sound of our dog barking
- 3:28Speaker 2: and had come out to find these two men knocking
- 3:31Speaker 2: loudly at the door. At this point, the men returned
- 3:34Speaker 2: and began knocking again, despite the fact that no one
- 3:36Speaker 2: had come to the door and our dog was still
- 3:38Speaker 2: actively barking. I mean the fact that they were there
- 3:41Speaker 2: at this time, in a location where houses are spread
- 3:44Speaker 2: out hundreds of yards and still knocking with a dog
- 3:47Speaker 2: barking and ate the situation even more terrifying. After a
- 3:52Speaker 2: couple minutes, the men walked away and we all shuffled
- 3:55Speaker 2: across the kitchen into the family room to peek out
- 3:57Speaker 2: the windows into our driveway, which is lit by her
- 4:00Speaker 2: outside light. There was a black Cadillac sitting there. No
- 4:04Speaker 2: one was inside from what we could see. Immediately, the
- 4:07Speaker 2: question was where did these guys go? They weren't in
- 4:10Speaker 2: the car, and they were no longer at the front door. Unfortunately,
- 4:14Speaker 2: we figured out the answer when the handles on our
- 4:17Speaker 2: back French doors started jiggling. They were actively trying to
- 4:21Speaker 2: enter the back of our house, which enters into the kitchen.
- 4:25Speaker 2: At this point I just remember my mom frantically saying,
- 4:27Speaker 2: David to my dad, has pure terror overwhelmed her. Then
- 4:32Speaker 2: two things happened. Adrenaline filled my body as I prepared
- 4:35Speaker 2: my handgun. It horrified at the very real possibility that
- 4:39Speaker 2: I might have to shoot these men. Secondly, my dad
- 4:42Speaker 2: finally grabbed the phone, called the police and calmly told
- 4:45Speaker 2: them what was happening. Thankfully, after a minute of jiggling,
- 4:49Speaker 2: they stopped at the back door and disappeared again, only
- 4:52Speaker 2: to return there knocking at the front. However, at this
- 4:55Speaker 2: point several minutes had gone by, and suddenly we saw
- 4:58Speaker 2: the local police fly out up and multiple cruisers with
- 5:01Speaker 2: their lights on as they whipped into our driveway in
- 5:04Speaker 2: front yard. The two men bolted away, attempting to run
- 5:07Speaker 2: the long way around the house. Across the driveway, one
- 5:10Speaker 2: of them disappeared out of our view. The other one
- 5:12Speaker 2: was intercepted by an officer yelling for him to get
- 5:15Speaker 2: on the ground, and he did it, and he was
- 5:17Speaker 2: immediately taste and fell on the crown. Some of the
- 5:21Speaker 2: officers went around the house after the other guy, and
- 5:23Speaker 2: one of them came to talk to my dad and
- 5:25Speaker 2: I as we came out the front. They ended up
- 5:27Speaker 2: finding the other man hiding in my sister's little playhouse
- 5:30Speaker 2: in the backyard. Appears both of them were drunk and
- 5:34Speaker 2: or high, and the one who had hit had cocaine
- 5:36Speaker 2: on him. While they were both the rest of that night,
- 5:39Speaker 2: we never did find out what they were charged with
- 5:41Speaker 2: or what happened to them. Needless to say, the whole
- 5:44Speaker 2: experience wasn't fun. So random man at our door in
- 5:49Speaker 2: the middle of the night, Let's not meet again.

- 6:26Speaker 6: Up next, we have a listener voicemail from Lou and
- 6:29Speaker 6: she tells us about her experience in the cemetery.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Hi, my name's Lou. I love your podcast. Thank you
- 6:40Speaker 8: Chad and all the voice actors for everything that you do.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Have been listening for a couple of years now. It's
- 6:45Speaker 8: my favorite thing to do on a Thursday night after
- 6:47Speaker 8: work to draw a bath, lights some candles, turn off
- 6:50Speaker 8: the light and listen to the new podcast of the week.
- 6:54Speaker 8: So thank you so much for all you do. I
- 6:56Speaker 8: do have a story to share with you. Guys. Been
- 7:00Speaker 8: Halloween weekend and I was with a couple of friends.
- 7:05Speaker 8: We were pretty close. We were all in Bend and
- 7:07Speaker 8: orchestra together and after school are on the weekends we
- 7:10Speaker 8: would smoke weed and skateboard around, just good friends, good
- 7:14Speaker 8: teenager fun and my friend Ben, his family actually owned
- 7:20Speaker 8: the cemetery across the street from his house. This Halloween weekend, myself, Ben,
- 7:26Speaker 8: and our friends Lance and Josh decided that we were
- 7:29Speaker 8: going to bring a Ouiji board into the middle of
- 7:33Speaker 8: Ben's cemetery. And we're fully aware that that's not what
- 7:36Speaker 8: you're supposed to do. I'm pretty sure. It says on
- 7:38Speaker 8: the instructions of a Ouiji board to never use it
- 7:41Speaker 8: in a cemetery, but we thought we were cool and badass,
- 7:45Speaker 8: so we were like, we're gonna go do it. So
- 7:48Speaker 8: we take off with our skateboards and we have backpacks
- 7:50Speaker 8: full of candles and the Ouiji board and we were
- 7:53Speaker 8: all up to the cemetery's ben unlocks it for us.
- 7:57Speaker 8: And this night was it was a really nice night.
- 8:00Speaker 8: It was really dark and the air was completely still,
- 8:06Speaker 8: which was pretty strange for a night in October and
- 8:10Speaker 8: on the Jersey Shore, but it was. It was a
- 8:13Speaker 8: nice night regardless. So we're walking into the cemetery and
- 8:18Speaker 8: the way that it's laid out is there's one path
- 8:22Speaker 8: from the entrance to the cemetery that leads straight forward
- 8:25Speaker 8: into kind of like a circle, that part that has
- 8:30Speaker 8: like tile and that has a couple of benches around,
- 8:32Speaker 8: and then from that middle part there's a couple of
- 8:35Speaker 8: paths that leads straight out into the rest of the
- 8:38Speaker 8: land of the cemetery so that you can walk and
- 8:40Speaker 8: visit loved ones and whatnot. So we decide to set
- 8:44Speaker 8: up in the middle of the cemetery in this circle.
- 8:47Speaker 8: We take out the candles, We light the candles, we
- 8:49Speaker 8: open up the board, and our friend Lance wanted no part.
- 8:54Speaker 8: He was just there for moral support, so he was
- 8:56Speaker 8: sitting kind of on the outside of our little Oigi circle.
- 9:00Speaker 8: So myself, Ben and Josh, we you know, we opened up,
- 9:04Speaker 8: opened up the board as you do. We're circling the
- 9:08Speaker 8: piece around the middle, and then we started asking questions
- 9:12Speaker 8: and nothing really happened. We didn't get any answers. It
- 9:16Speaker 8: didn't really move. Josh tried to scare us at one
- 9:19Speaker 8: point and moved it himself. But then we you know,
- 9:23Speaker 8: we laughed it off and like we're pushing each other
- 9:25Speaker 8: or whatever. And then before we decided to close it out,
- 9:30Speaker 8: we were like, okay, like nothing's really going on, let's
- 9:33Speaker 8: just close it out and go light a fire or
- 9:34Speaker 8: something and sit around campfire. So as we're about to
- 9:37Speaker 8: close out, the peace starts moving. And at first we
- 9:40Speaker 8: were like, Josh, it's not funny anymore. It's funny the
- 9:43Speaker 8: first time. This isn't funny. And he didn't say a word.
- 9:48Speaker 8: He was like, I'm not moving it. I wasn't moving it.
- 9:51Speaker 8: And Ben said that he wasn't moving it, and it
- 9:54Speaker 8: was moving towards the Z and then it was moving
- 9:57Speaker 8: towards the O, and any A did spooky. People will
- 10:02Speaker 8: know what that is. At the time, I didn't know.
- 10:04Speaker 8: Ben didn't know either, but Josh knew what Zozo was
- 10:09Speaker 8: and he turned why as a ghost and he was like,
- 10:13Speaker 8: we need to close this out right now, immediately. So
- 10:16Speaker 8: we go to close it out. We say goodbye, We
- 10:19Speaker 8: start circling it around the board, and then it all
- 10:22Speaker 8: happens so fast. The candles and remember I said that
- 10:27Speaker 8: it was a really still night, there was zero wind
- 10:29Speaker 8: in the air. The candles all went out. The board
- 10:33Speaker 8: piece flew up and hit Josh in the chest. And
- 10:37Speaker 8: then Lance, our friend that was not part of the circle,
- 10:41Speaker 8: his vape started heating up in his pocket and he
- 10:44Speaker 8: pulls it out of his pocket and we can all
- 10:46Speaker 8: see that the coil of his vape is hot red.
- 10:49Speaker 8: I mean it is like we can hear it steaming,
- 10:53Speaker 8: and he's throwing it between his hands like a hot
- 10:55Speaker 8: potato because it's so hot. So we all look at
- 10:57Speaker 8: each other and we decide to book it out of there.
- 11:00Speaker 8: We throw all of our shit into our bags and
- 11:02Speaker 8: we grab our skateboards and we run as fast as possible.
- 11:06Speaker 8: I don't think I've ever run that fast my entire life.
- 11:10Speaker 8: We make it out, and Ben closes and locks the gate,
- 11:14Speaker 8: and we run back to his place and discuss the happenings.
- 11:19Speaker 8: Julie spooky for sure, but lesson learned. You know, don't
- 11:24Speaker 8: ever do a Ouiji board in the cemetery.

- 11:59Speaker 6: Next up, we hear Reddit user Dallas mystery show featuring
- 12:03Speaker 6: voice work by Stephen Brink, and we have someone disappear.
- 12:12Speaker 3: This story from my past happened about thirty two years
- 12:15Speaker 3: ago in East Texas. My mom and dad divorced when
- 12:19Speaker 3: I was sixteen years old, and my brothers and I
- 12:21Speaker 3: lived with my mom. My dad visited us once in
- 12:23Speaker 3: a while, but not really on a consistent basis. He
- 12:27Speaker 3: was a gambler, one of the reasons my parents split up,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and tended to not come around when he was broke,
- 12:32Speaker 3: but on the rare occasion that he won big, he
- 12:34Speaker 3: would visit and spend money on us, and then disappear again.
- 12:38Speaker 3: My dad said he had a job as a shuttle
- 12:39Speaker 3: driver for a local hotel. He told my brothers in
- 12:42Speaker 3: meed that the shuttle driving was just a cover that
- 12:45Speaker 3: he actually worked for organized crime, which he claimed owned
- 12:48Speaker 3: the hotel. He said his real job was to drive
- 12:51Speaker 3: out to various places in the area to pick up
- 12:53Speaker 3: fugitives running from warrants or otherwise wanted by law enforcement,
- 12:57Speaker 3: bring them to the hotel and to hide, and then
- 12:59Speaker 3: later they would move on by other means. My dad
- 13:02Speaker 3: said he didn't really know how they did that. My
- 13:05Speaker 3: dad was always a blowhard and always exaggerating are out
- 13:08Speaker 3: and out lying, so my brothers and I just blew
- 13:10Speaker 3: it off and didn't think much of the claim until
- 13:13Speaker 3: something strange happened. My dad disappeared. It was nineteen eighty
- 13:17Speaker 3: eight and I was twenty two years old and a
- 13:19Speaker 3: college student, still living at home. I worked as a
- 13:22Speaker 3: full time disc jockey on the overnight shift ten pm
- 13:25Speaker 3: to seven am at a local radio station. My middle
- 13:28Speaker 3: brother was nineteen years old, lived in an apartment with
- 13:31Speaker 3: a friend and worked at a nearby dairy queen. My
- 13:33Speaker 3: youngest brother was nine and also lived at home. One day,
- 13:36Speaker 3: my brother called my mom and me and asked us
- 13:38Speaker 3: if we knew where my dad was. He said some
- 13:40Speaker 3: men came to the dairy queen while he was at
- 13:42Speaker 3: work and asked him if he had seen my dad recently.
- 13:45Speaker 3: My brother truthfully told them that he hadn't seen or
- 13:47Speaker 3: heard from my dad months and then he often does
- 13:50Speaker 3: that cuts off contact for months at a time. My
- 13:53Speaker 3: brother said these men didn't say who they were, but
- 13:56Speaker 3: seemed satisfied and left. My brother wondered if these men
- 13:59Speaker 3: were or anyone had called to talk to us and
- 14:01Speaker 3: asked us where my dad was. The following day, my
- 14:04Speaker 3: brother says the men returned to his work and this
- 14:06Speaker 3: time flashed badges and claimed to be FBI agents. He
- 14:10Speaker 3: says they were aggressive and demanded that my brother tell
- 14:12Speaker 3: them where my dad was. My brother kept insisting truthfully
- 14:16Speaker 3: that he didn't know where my dad was. That the
- 14:18Speaker 3: last he heard. He worked at a local hotel as
- 14:20Speaker 3: a shuttle driver. But the experience upset him and he
- 14:23Speaker 3: called my mom and me again. Upset, my mom called
- 14:26Speaker 3: the hotel where my dad worked. The man she spoke
- 14:29Speaker 3: to said my dad had disappeared weeks ago and he
- 14:32Speaker 3: had no idea where he went. The following day, my
- 14:34Speaker 3: brother was at work when his roommate called and said
- 14:36Speaker 3: that someone had apparently been in their apartment. The roommate
- 14:39Speaker 3: claimed that when he got home from work, he found
- 14:41Speaker 3: the sliding glass door open and the place ransacked, but
- 14:44Speaker 3: nothing appeared to be missing. My brother, very upset, went
- 14:48Speaker 3: to his apartment and found that, in fact, his address
- 14:51Speaker 3: book was missing from the breakfast nook, and a Teddybury
- 14:54Speaker 3: recently bought for his son and a photo of his
- 14:56Speaker 3: son were missing from his bedroom. Now my brother and
- 14:59Speaker 3: my mom I were beside ourselves with anger, fear, paranoia.
- 15:04Speaker 3: We went to the local FBI office to complain that
- 15:06Speaker 3: the FBI had done this and to tell them once
- 15:09Speaker 3: and for all, my brother does not know where my
- 15:11Speaker 3: dad is. Well as you might have guessed, the FBI
- 15:15Speaker 3: claimed no knowledge of the event and claimed that they
- 15:18Speaker 3: were not looking for my dad. They said none of
- 15:20Speaker 3: their agents had contacted my brother. Furthermore, when my mother
- 15:24Speaker 3: told them my dad had claimed that he worked for
- 15:26Speaker 3: organized crime, the FBI would neither confirm nor deny that
- 15:29Speaker 3: the hotel had ties to organized crime or that there
- 15:32Speaker 3: was even an investigation going on. My mom called the
- 15:36Speaker 3: hotel again and told the manager that men were looking
- 15:38Speaker 3: for my dad, that they were terrorizing my brother, and
- 15:41Speaker 3: flat out asked the guy if there was any truth
- 15:43Speaker 3: to my dad's claim to be working for organized crime.
- 15:46Speaker 3: The man laughed and told her there's no such thing
- 15:49Speaker 3: as the mafia. While we were trying to make sense
- 15:52Speaker 3: of all these weird details, we kept wondering why my
- 15:55Speaker 3: brother was being arrested but not my mother or me.
- 15:58Speaker 3: That's when I was reminded of a weird event that
- 16:00Speaker 3: happened to me about two or three weeks prior. Because
- 16:03Speaker 3: I worked overnight, I was often awake in the middle
- 16:06Speaker 3: of the night on my days off with nothing to do.
- 16:09Speaker 3: One night, I went to the local cable TV company
- 16:12Speaker 3: where my friend worked as a computer system operator, to
- 16:14Speaker 3: hang out with him for a few hours and bs
- 16:17Speaker 3: a little. At about three point thirty am, he had
- 16:19Speaker 3: a big computer job to do, so it was time
- 16:21Speaker 3: for me to go home, so I left. As soon
- 16:24Speaker 3: as I pulled out from his company's driveway, a car
- 16:26Speaker 3: was immediately behind me, tailgating me.
- 16:29Speaker 9: I mean.
- 16:30Speaker 3: He was on me so quickly it scared the crap
- 16:32Speaker 3: out of me. The car seemed to just appear out
- 16:34Speaker 3: of nowhere. He also had his high beams on. It
- 16:37Speaker 3: was blinding me, and I couldn't make out anything about
- 16:39Speaker 3: the car behind me. I couldn't see inside to see
- 16:42Speaker 3: how many people were in the car, what they looked like,
- 16:45Speaker 3: or anything. I couldn't even see what kind of car
- 16:47Speaker 3: it was. I changed lanes to let the tailgater pass,
- 16:50Speaker 3: but he changed lanes with me. I moved again, and
- 16:54Speaker 3: again moved. He was tailgating me and blinding me, and
- 16:58Speaker 3: now seemed to be following me. I stopped at the
- 17:01Speaker 3: intersection and got in the left turning lane with my
- 17:03Speaker 3: signal on, and he got behind me. Since there was
- 17:06Speaker 3: no traffic at all around. When the light changed, I
- 17:09Speaker 3: zoomed across the intersection, streaked across all the lanes of
- 17:12Speaker 3: traffic into the far right lane, and through the intersection,
- 17:15Speaker 3: trying to lose them. He followed me. Now it was
- 17:19Speaker 3: absolutely clear for sure he was following me. I cut
- 17:23Speaker 3: into a nearby neighborhood and tried to lose them, but
- 17:25Speaker 3: he kept following me anyway. I finally managed to zoom
- 17:28Speaker 3: back out into the intersection and crossed over and went
- 17:31Speaker 3: to the seven eleven at the corner and jumped out
- 17:33Speaker 3: and ran inside and yelled to the clerk that someone
- 17:36Speaker 3: was following me. As I did, I saw the car
- 17:38Speaker 3: that was following me cut through the parking lot of
- 17:40Speaker 3: the seven eleven, and for the first time I got
- 17:43Speaker 3: a look at the car. It was a late model
- 17:45Speaker 3: tan colored four door and there were two white guys
- 17:48Speaker 3: in it. The clerk just blew me off and said
- 17:50Speaker 3: I was exaggerating and it was probably just kids messing
- 17:53Speaker 3: with me, and to let it go. I left, but
- 17:56Speaker 3: I was still spooked by it and didn't want to
- 17:58Speaker 3: go straight home. I was afraid they might follow me,
- 18:01Speaker 3: and I didn't want them to know where I lived,
- 18:03Speaker 3: so I went to my workplace. I knew that the
- 18:05Speaker 3: disc jockey on the air that night would be my
- 18:07Speaker 3: friend Paula, so I decided to go visit her on
- 18:09Speaker 3: the air for a while and hang out and calm down.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I told her what happened and hung out for about
- 18:14Speaker 3: two hours, so she felt it was probably just some
- 18:17Speaker 3: punks being jerks, and that calmed me down. But when
- 18:20Speaker 3: I got home, now over two hours since this car
- 18:23Speaker 3: harassed me. The damn car was at my house. As
- 18:27Speaker 3: I was coming down the street to my apartments about
- 18:29Speaker 3: to turn right, I saw the damn car pull out
- 18:32Speaker 3: of my apartments and as it passed me, the sobs
- 18:35Speaker 3: flashed their high beams on and off at me. But
- 18:38Speaker 3: now remembering that event and putting it together with my
- 18:41Speaker 3: brother's FBI visit and apartment break in, it seemed obvious
- 18:46Speaker 3: that it was all tied together. I hadn't thought about
- 18:48Speaker 3: it before, but now I remembered. My car was actually
- 18:52Speaker 3: my dad's car. He gave it to me about two
- 18:55Speaker 3: months earlier when he got a new one. So if
- 18:57Speaker 3: someone had been looking for my dad, I'd have thought
- 19:00Speaker 3: I was him, and when they saw me coming home,
- 19:03Speaker 3: realized I'm not him and just left. But who was
- 19:06Speaker 3: messing with us? And why? Where was my dad? Why
- 19:10Speaker 3: are these strange people harassing us? My mom, my brother,
- 19:14Speaker 3: and I. We went to the local police and filed
- 19:16Speaker 3: a missing person's report, and to complain, we spoke to
- 19:20Speaker 3: a very nice detective. About five days later, we got
- 19:23Speaker 3: a call from the detective that he had solved the
- 19:25Speaker 3: whole strange case. It turns out my dad disappeared because
- 19:29Speaker 3: he owed his employers more than fifty thousand dollars in
- 19:32Speaker 3: gambling debt. The detective confirmed that my dad did work
- 19:35Speaker 3: for some unsavory characters, but said they weren't organized crime
- 19:39Speaker 3: per se. He had no idea if my dad was
- 19:42Speaker 3: shuttling fugitives or not. He said my dad was hiding
- 19:45Speaker 3: out in Nevada, and then he had spoken to him
- 19:48Speaker 3: that he was alive and well, but hiding. We asked, then,
- 19:52Speaker 3: who the hell were those men and why were they
- 19:54Speaker 3: bothering my brother. The detective explained that it was not
- 19:57Speaker 3: uncommon for unsavory bounty hunters and debt collectors to impersonate
- 20:01Speaker 3: law enforcement and call and harass people. My brother asked,
- 20:05Speaker 3: how did they get into his apartment? The detective set
- 20:08Speaker 3: a sliding glass door is easy peasy to open, and
- 20:11Speaker 3: they probably stole the address book, hoping it had my
- 20:13Speaker 3: dad's contact information in it. They stole the Teddy Bear
- 20:17Speaker 3: in pictures to use to scare my brother, which worked.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I asked the detective why the men only harassed my
- 20:23Speaker 3: brother and not my mom and me. The detective said,
- 20:25Speaker 3: because my dad had used my brother as a reference
- 20:28Speaker 3: on his job application at the hotel and gave my
- 20:30Speaker 3: brother's address and phone number. The FBI agents probably figured
- 20:35Speaker 3: he was close to my dad and either maintained contact
- 20:37Speaker 3: with him or, if threatened.
- 20:40Speaker 10: Would contact him.
- 20:41Speaker 3: So my dad eventually turned back up in town and
- 20:44Speaker 3: acted like nothing had ever happened. He never spoke about
- 20:47Speaker 3: the incident. We never brought it back up. I guess
- 20:50Speaker 3: he's got.
- 20:50Speaker 10: The money he owed them. I don't know, but that's
- 20:53Speaker 10: my story.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Are you loving the show? Let us know with a
- 21:05Speaker 5: positive rating and review in return will help you hide
- 21:09Speaker 5: the body.
- 21:16Speaker 6: Up next is a listener voicemail from Lena and she
- 21:19Speaker 6: lets us know about her haunted dorm room.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Hi. My name's Lena, and I just want to say
- 21:30Speaker 4: I watch you guys. I listen to your guys' podcasts
- 21:32Speaker 4: all the time, and I absolutely love it. Anyways, this
- 21:37Speaker 4: is basically a story about my haunted dorm room, which
- 21:40Speaker 4: I still live in with my roommate. So yeah, okay. Basically,
- 21:46Speaker 4: as like you know dorms work, is that there's like
- 21:49Speaker 4: multiple floors and then each room is like stacked on
- 21:52Speaker 4: top of the other. So that can kind of explain
- 21:55Speaker 4: some voices, but basically what happens on it like a
- 21:59Speaker 4: day to day basis is, things will fall from my
- 22:02Speaker 4: roommate's desk, and like they not even things that are
- 22:06Speaker 4: supposed to fall, like literally like a book will like
- 22:08Speaker 4: fly off like and will see her a little. So
- 22:11Speaker 4: animals will fly off from like the top shelf and
- 22:14Speaker 4: just like just just fall down. This one time really
- 22:18Speaker 4: scared me was so I she had stayed at a
- 22:23Speaker 4: friend's storm for the day and I was just in
- 22:25Speaker 4: my room. I was just in an her room, just
- 22:27Speaker 4: sleeping by myself, and it was like two thirty maybe
- 22:30Speaker 4: like three am, and I knew that she was supposed
- 22:34Speaker 4: to be back. So for some reason, I wake up.
- 22:37Speaker 4: I don't know why what woke me up, but I
- 22:40Speaker 4: look over and there's a there's a human form underneath
- 22:45Speaker 4: her blanket. And when when like a person underneath a
- 22:49Speaker 4: blanket on a bed or something, you can see their outline.
- 22:52Speaker 4: When I look over for some reason and I see
- 22:55Speaker 4: someone underneath her blanket and I call out, I'm like
- 22:58Speaker 4: tia yah, knowing damn well, she's not gonna respond, but
- 23:02Speaker 4: I just needed some sort of bad explanation and so
- 23:07Speaker 4: and obviously she doesn't respond. And as I'm watching the
- 23:11Speaker 4: like this form under her bed under her sheet like
- 23:15Speaker 4: shrinks and gets to kind of like a ball, kind
- 23:19Speaker 4: of like shaped like a cat, and I just I
- 23:22Speaker 4: turned over and back to sleep. I was scared as
- 23:26Speaker 4: hell because I was like, no, no, And then so
- 23:30Speaker 4: I had a dream. I guess my mind was trying
- 23:32Speaker 4: to explain it so that it wasn't as scary, and
- 23:35Speaker 4: had a dream where basically my roommate had told me, oh, yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 4: there's the spirit of the cat living in our room
- 23:41Speaker 4: on her side of the room, just as a way
- 23:44Speaker 4: to visually explain it. And I guess I had also
- 23:47Speaker 4: like texted my roommate right after that happened, and I
- 23:49Speaker 4: was like, hey, are you back, and she was She
- 23:52Speaker 4: wasn't she She was like no, And I never swam
- 23:55Speaker 4: that text. But yeah, So then the next day I
- 23:57Speaker 4: tell her what happened. She was like, huh, that's really
- 23:59Speaker 4: fun because because I had been kind of recently like
- 24:03Speaker 4: imagining what it would have been like if my cat
- 24:06Speaker 4: from back home had been living in a dorm room.
- 24:10Speaker 4: And I was like, all right, that's weird. So yeah, uh,
- 24:15Speaker 4: nothing weirds as weird as that has happened since that day,
- 24:19Speaker 4: but it's kind of scary.

- 24:34Speaker 5: happen to you? Let us know and get featured on
