- 0:43guide for the petrol heads in your life that might not have everything yet.
- 0:47So let's pull up the window, number one for some gift ideas.
- 0:51I mean, that sounds like the same thing we've done every year, doesn't it, pinky?
- 0:56It does bring, how about we do something different this year?
- 0:59How about instead of our standard holiday shopping guide, we dip into the waters
- 1:04of what should I buy with a special version of the automotive dating game?
- 1:10Him.
- 1:15And with that, I'm your host crew, chief Eric here to bring you
- 1:18laughs, surprises, and maybe even a little bit of buying advice.
- 1:22So just like the classic show from the Groovy 1970s, we've got three
- 1:26mystery cars waiting behind the curtain, ready to charm their way
- 1:30to the heart of our lucky collector.
- 1:32What do you think, Brad?
- 1:33I think we're ready to go.
- 1:34I think this is a fantastic idea.
- 1:36I think our motors are revved.
- 1:37We're ready to go first.
- 1:39Let's meet the star of today's show.
- 1:41She's fun.
- 1:42She's adventurous and ready to find a new ride that can keep up with her
- 1:46existing collection of collective cars.
- 1:48Please welcome our very own executive producer Tanya.
- 1:53Hi everyone.
- 1:54Hi, Tanya.
- 1:55I'm not sure I wanna take that.
- 1:56Looking for a new ride?
- 2:01All right, Tanya.
- 2:02Just like the classic 1970s game, the rules are simple.
- 2:05You'll be asking questions to our panel of Petrolhead about
- 2:08the car they've selected for you.
- 2:11Remember, you can't see the cars.
- 2:13You'll get to know them by our panelists answers, and at the end,
- 2:17you'll choose the car you'd like to take as your Christmas gift.
- 2:20Alright, I'm ready.
- 2:22Well, now let's meet our three panelists.
- 2:24Well, sort of again, their cars are hidden away, but I'll give you
- 2:27a little teaser about each one.
- 2:29Contestant number one claims his car can launch off the line faster than an
- 2:33Apollo era rocket from Pennsylvania.
- 2:36Let's welcome Max Zenman.
- 2:37Good afternoon, evening, and good night.
- 2:40If I don't see you later.
- 2:42Contestant number two is a world traveler who claims they've never
- 2:45run out of fuel yet from the place the young kids call mid.
- 2:49Let's welcome William.
- 2:50Big money Ross.
- 2:52Good evening and contestant number three.
- 2:55He's a foodie who believes pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza.
- 2:59All the way from that great southern state of Virginia.
- 3:02It's crew Chief Brad, we're gonna find out as the youngins say in
- 3:05the mid, we're gonna fho six seven.
- 3:09Oh geez, my son's five.
- 3:13He doesn't get these things yet.
- 3:14Thank God.
- 3:16It'll be worse then.
- 3:17But with that, let's give a big round of applause for our contestants.
- 3:20But before we dive into the question round, let's take a quick

- 4:03Alright folks, it's time to play Tanya.
- 4:05The stage is yours.
- 4:07Time to ask away.
- 4:09Are we ready for this?
- 4:10I am not, but let's get into it.
- 4:13This is a question for all the Garage Queens, future Garage
- 4:16Queens, garage Queen Number one.
- 4:19Would you consider yourself a summer or a winter?
- 4:23I believe I'd consider myself a summer.
- 4:26Same question number two.
- 4:28Oh, I'm definitely summer 'cause I really enjoy going topless.
- 4:32And number three, I think I was designed and built in the summer,
- 4:36but I'm very much a winter vehicle.
- 4:39All right.
- 4:41Which feature contestant number two would you add to yourself?
- 4:45What I would add to myself, I don't know.
- 4:47I'm pretty complete package, but the only thing I could think of that I would
- 4:51need to add would be maybe some fuzzy dice hanging off the rear view mirror.
- 4:55Oh geez.
- 4:57Garage queen number three the same.
- 4:59Oh, what would I like to myself?
- 5:00Yeah.
- 5:00I want the same question on this.
- 5:01Ooh, he's, he's being sultry, being suspense, sultry.
- 5:06I'm doing this.
- 5:07The, the shatner.
- 5:08I would add something.
- 5:11I'm not sure yet.
- 5:12I don't know that I would need to add anything.
- 5:14Maybe a bumper sticker that says I love Italia.
- 5:18Oh, we'll throw this one at garage Queen number one as well.
- 5:23I think I would add space for my moon boots and helmet and possibly.
- 5:31A little bit of extra fuel for 250,000 miles.
- 5:35All right, you're losing me here, but, uh,
- 5:40then here we go.
- 5:42Garage queen number one.
- 5:43Since we're going 250,000 miles worth of fuel, if we were going on this
- 5:47long road trip, what's one thing you'd make sure was in the trunk?
- 5:50Uh, I don't have a trunk to put any junk in.
- 5:55If I did.
- 5:56The luggage rack would have two sparkling glasses of champagne for the two of us.
- 6:02No, uh, don't drink and drive kids.
- 6:05I think a luggage rack for my, um, moon rocks.
- 6:09Okay.
- 6:09Continue with the space theme.
- 6:11Do you think we'd make it on this long extended road trip?
- 6:14Oh yeah.
- 6:15You, me and a third guy.
- 6:16Actually, I think there's three of us.
- 6:18All right.
- 6:19Only see two.
- 6:20So someone's sitting on someone's lap.
- 6:22We're not gonna break down.
- 6:23We're gonna make it.
- 6:24No breaking down, no nothing but good old parts made in, um, America.
- 6:30America.
- 6:31All right, crash queen number three.
- 6:33What song would be playing on the radio?
- 6:37I'm not sure.
- 6:37I like a big pizza Viol some more.
- 6:42I'm gonna ask this question to everybody.
- 6:43Garage Queen two.
- 6:45What songs playing on the radio wouldn't be specific.
- 6:47One song, but would be a specific artist and that would be Bob Seger.
- 6:51Okay.
- 6:53Number one, fly Me to the Moon.
- 6:57Let me play Among the Star.
- 7:00Well, Frank Sinatra for y'all.
- 7:02Alright, which is more important?
- 7:06Number two.
- 7:07Speed, style or utility?
- 7:10Oh, definitely style.
- 7:11Definitely style.
- 7:12We got those fuzzy dice.
- 7:13I don't know if they were pink, but they were fuzzy dice in the mirror.
- 7:15Oh, they could be pink, definitely.
- 7:18Why not?
- 7:19I think I know the answer to number ones would also be style.
- 7:23'cause we're going to the moon.
- 7:24But maybe it'd be utility also.
- 7:26'cause we can go to the moon.
- 7:27No speed.
- 7:28Baby Speed.
- 7:30Speed.
- 7:30What about you?
- 7:31Number three?
- 7:32I can't leave you out.
- 7:32Please don't leave me out.
- 7:34Definitely the style.
- 7:37And utility are the most important.
- 7:40Oil and utility.
- 7:41All right.
- 7:42What is your least favorite trait about yourself?
- 7:44Number one.
- 7:45Hmm.
- 7:46I work too hard.
- 7:48I look great for my age, and I look great with the top up or tops off.
- 7:56So, wait, that didn't really answer your question, did it?
- 8:00So you love yourself.
- 8:01Okay.
- 8:03Since 1954.
- 8:06Number two, same question.
- 8:08I want to hear from everyone.
- 8:09Least favorite trait.
- 8:11What could you change about yourself?
- 8:12Uh, I have a tendency to get a little hot pretty quickly.
- 8:15Uh oh.
- 8:16Gonna overheat.
- 8:17All right.
- 8:17So we wouldn't make it on a long road trip.
- 8:19Well, the tops off.
- 8:20You could, that would cool everything down.
- 8:23Oh, okay.
- 8:25Things in check.
- 8:26All right.
- 8:26And number three, I would say the thing I like least about me is that
- 8:31there just aren't more of me around.
- 8:33All right.
- 8:34Limited productions.
- 8:35And number three, there's not many of you around.
- 8:38How do you feel about weather?
- 8:39Oh, baby, I can handle any weather you need.
- 8:44All right, all weather, all terrain.
- 8:45Maybe number two.
- 8:48If you were gonna star in a movie, what genre movie, or you can name a movie,
- 8:52however you feel like answering that.
- 8:54Oh, I would fit perfectly into Cannonball Run too.
- 8:57All right.
- 8:58That would be ideal.
- 8:59What about you?
- 8:59Number one, movies starring Tom Hanks, where he may or may not be
- 9:04stranded on an island with a coconut.
- 9:06Not on an island, but far away.
- 9:09Okay, Tom Hanks movie.
- 9:11Horse gone.
- 9:18Same question number three was to star in a movie, TV show or whatever.
- 9:22Sure.
- 9:23Or genre of film, comedy, romance, action.
- 9:27I would be in a romantic comedy.
- 9:31But I wouldn't be the star.
- 9:32I'd be in the background.
- 9:34Something that only Eric would see for a split second while watching the movie.
- 9:43Did you see that?
- 9:45He'd pause.
- 9:45Take a screenshot and then share with all of us, and then he would ask
- 9:49Daniel to look it up in the database.
- 9:52I'm gonna circle back real quick to number two, Cannonball Run.
- 9:55Who in that movie would you most associate yourself with?
- 10:00Bert Dom, Dee, Jackie Chan.
- 10:03Shirley McClain.
- 10:04Oh, no.
- 10:04This would definitely be Mr. Burt Reynolds all over it.
- 10:07Okay.
- 10:08And a newer version.
- 10:09I guess you would say noon.
- 10:11Improved bird.
- 10:12Yeah.
- 10:12Yeah, but not dead one.
- 10:14Not a dead one.
- 10:16One.
- 10:16Still able to walk.
- 10:17But definitely I think a cowboy hat would go very well with this car.
- 10:21Ooh, I'm getting some vibes.
- 10:22All right.
- 10:24What is your most worn out part or a part that you can't obtain for yourself?
- 10:31The elusive unobtainium part.
- 10:34Number three, what am I going to the mechanic for right away?
- 10:37Definitely my wiring and my fuses.
- 10:41And my relays.
- 10:42Anything that is needed to make me actually run.
- 10:45I think you're gonna need a mechanic garage.
- 10:48Queen number one, the brakes.
- 10:50'cause we ain't stopping.
- 10:57Oh man.
- 10:58Number two, same question.
- 11:00It would definitely have to be my front end 'cause it's
- 11:05a very, very expensive park.
- 11:08They got pills for that now.
- 11:09Yeah, that might come in handy.
- 11:12Definitely to lift it up.
- 11:14You would definitely need something like that.
- 11:16See, these are the vibes I was getting.
- 11:17All right, so those only last four hours though.
- 11:21Quite overheat.
- 11:22Garage Queen number two.
- 11:24With that, are we getting into, or are we getting out of mischief?
- 11:29Oh, getting into mischief.
- 11:30Totally.
- 11:30Lots of smoke, lots of noise.
- 11:32Lots.
- 11:33Screeching and squealing.
- 11:35All right.
- 11:36Garage queen number one.
- 11:37If you could race on any track, which track would it be?
- 11:40Probably a big, long runway someplace, my God.
- 11:43But, uh, Lamont wasn't too bad either for us.
- 11:47Mm. Okay.
- 11:50All right.
- 11:51Number two, could you make it around a track?
- 11:53Long as it wasn't too long?
- 11:55Number three, Pikes Peak before it was paved.
- 11:58That's an intriguing answer.
- 12:00Huh.
- 12:06Oh no, that sounds signals.
- 12:08We've reached the end of our questioning.
- 12:10Tanya, you get one more opportunity to get some clues about your future car
- 12:15before we go into our decision round.
- 12:18I will end it on a fun note.
- 12:21This hasn't all been fun.
- 12:22Oh, it has all been fun.
- 12:23We'll add whimsy to it.
- 12:25Ooh.
- 12:25Which superhero would drive you?
- 12:28All around.
- 12:30Starting in reverse number three, which superhero would drive me?
- 12:34Clark Kent, but not Superman.
- 12:36Clark Kent, but not Superman.
- 12:38Okay.
- 12:39So we're a star in a reasonably priced vehicle.
- 12:41Got it.
- 12:42Number two.
- 12:43Oh, this would have Captain America written all over it.
- 12:45Wow.
- 12:46Number one, since they actually did comics for it, it would be Neil Armstrong.
- 12:59Well, Tanya, are you satisfied with your round of questioning?
- 13:04Do you have enough information to base your decision on eating meaty miny mo?
- 13:10Well, before we go in for the big reveal, how about a word from our sponsors?
- 13:16Geral the best thing since sliced bread.
- 13:19Geral.
- 13:19Get it now.
- 13:20Mostly opium, www.geral.com.
- 13:24I'm so leading that in.
- 13:28I don't know if it's real website.
- 13:31I usually post all my models on LinkedIn.
- 13:33That's kind of where I got my start.
- 13:34My first commissions came, believe it or not, from LinkedIn.
- 13:37And I build anything.
- 13:38It doesn't have to be cars, I build anything, planes, boats,
- 13:41tanks, it doesn't matter.
- 13:43So if you're interested in having something really special, go to at the
- 13:47pope of plastic on TikTok at the Pope of Plastic on TikTok, also on Instagram

- 14:16Just tell.
- 14:17Saw me, you know, on the internet or whatever, and I'd love to say hi.
- 14:20And don't be scared of TikTok for crying out loud.
- 14:23Don't believe all the hype and feel free to ask me any questions.
- 14:30Alright, Tanya, you've heard from all three panelists about their cars.
- 14:34Now comes the big moment.
- 14:36You have 60 seconds in which to decide which car it'll be.
- 14:41Is it Max's?
- 14:43Williams or Brad
- 14:50and your choice is,
- 15:01well, this is a really hard decision, honestly.
- 15:04I'm pretty sure I probably want.
- 15:07Garage Queen number three, but I don't know what garage queen number one is at
- 15:12all, and I'm compelled to go with that.
- 15:15Garage Queen number two scares me and I feel like it's outside my vibe zone.
- 15:20It's probably on the opposite spectrum of your vibe zone,
- 15:24but don't fear the unknown.
- 15:27Embrace it.
- 15:28Embrace the unknown.
- 15:30And I think I'm going to, as it was said, eclectic collection.
- 15:34The number one would definitely be adding to an eclectic collection.
- 15:38So we'll go with garage queen number one,
- 15:44flash down, and for our fabulous new couple, that's Tanya and
- 15:49the car, we've arranged this.
- 15:50Special garage meetup for you, but first Max has to get that
- 15:54car run through the car wash.
- 15:56So we'll talk about the cars you didn't choose.
- 15:58So let's see what Tanya passed up, taking home to her garage tonight.
- 16:03Panelist number three.
- 16:04Brad, what was your car?
- 16:07Tanya's going to be very upset that she passed on is a 2005 Alpha Romeo 1
- 16:1456 Cross Wagon Q4 Turbo Diesel manual.
- 16:18Geez.
- 16:24I was to link to that bad boy.
- 16:26I was thinking you were going for a La Forza when you started saying utility.
- 16:31Driving it.
- 16:32Honestly.
- 16:33I was like, okay, that's about Brad's thing getting way out there.
- 16:35I think of La Forza.
- 16:37It's got utility.
- 16:38It's all wheel drive.
- 16:39It's a wagon manual.
- 16:41Turbo diesel.
- 16:42It's the better Fiat Panda.
- 16:44I thought it was a Jeep that someone left in Italy for some reason.
- 16:47You know?
- 16:48And I know we had a $50,000 budget.
- 16:50What did this car sell for Brad?
- 16:5249,009. Nine nine.
- 16:55Look at the link.
- 16:56Oh my God.
- 16:56What?
- 16:57How much was this?
- 16:584,100 you say four grand.
- 17:014,100. We've got $46,000 to have fun with on our date.
- 17:10Oh, you could get it rewired and spend the rest of the time looking at each
- 17:15other longingly in the, in the lobby of, of the, of the service station.
- 17:19Yeah.
- 17:19We've got $46,000 for AAA membership.
- 17:25Well, we heard from panelist number three with the Alpha Romeo.
- 17:28How about panelist number two?
- 17:30William, what did you bring to the party?
- 17:33Oh, we could go second Gen Dodge Viper.
- 17:36Mm. What?
- 17:38Really, I, I could have sworn yours was a Cadillac.
- 17:40I was thinking the same thing actually.
- 17:42Like an xts or something like that.
- 17:44Thought he had to hook him.
- 17:45Horns on the front, eh?
- 17:47Oh man.
- 17:48He threw me.
- 17:49When you're talking about, well, when I said the Cannonball rundown,
- 17:52I was like, I wanna be show.
- 17:53That was the genre.
- 17:54Not so much fixing the movie and then, yeah, yeah.
- 17:56A newer version of Bert.
- 17:58So like an updated type.
- 17:59I thought maybe the cowboy hat would do it.
- 18:01Thinking Carol Shelby ish.
- 18:02You know, like you threw me when it, you started talking about lifting it and dice.
- 18:05I thought it was gonna be some like squatted out amino or something.
- 18:10Well, it's a dodge.
- 18:12Yeah.
- 18:13Well, gentlemen, as a consolation prize for being the unlucky panelist,
- 18:17Tanya did not choose your cars.
- 18:19You don't go home empty handed.
- 18:20Tonight, we've registered you for the upcoming Mecu auction
- 18:24in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida.
- 18:25You're on the hook for all the expenses, but don't forget.
- 18:30Nobody sells more than Mecu nobody.

- 19:48Nobody.
- 19:49Alright, Tanya, this is it.
- 19:51Let's meet the lucky winner.
- 19:53I'm scared.
- 19:54Yeah.
- 19:54I wanna know what this is.
- 19:55I'm scared.
- 19:55This is gonna be something that's like the equivalent of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile
- 19:59or something, but a space shuttle.
- 20:02All right, max,
- 20:08show her what you brought to the party.
- 20:11What has Tanya selected to take home to her garage today?
- 20:15As a representative of the, uh, historic Space Program, we are talking about a 1970
- 20:221,454 LS, five Corvette, not too shatter.
- 20:28This one's the convertible for more than what we talked about, but the
- 20:31T top in 71 was equally as nice.
- 20:35Top on or top off, and no trunk.
- 20:38So if you're a female Corvette owner, do you still get the
- 20:42Jorts and the new balances?
- 20:43Does it come with it?
- 20:44No big sunglasses and a scarf.
- 20:46Seventies glasses.
- 20:48Audrey Hepburn, a scarf around and then big glasses.
- 20:51Yeah.
- 20:51Hair blowing in the wind or, yeah.
- 20:54Wrapped up.
- 20:56Alright.
- 20:57All right.
- 20:57I was scared.
- 20:58This wasn't too bad.
- 20:59Well, folks, that's all for today's special holiday.
- 21:02What should I buy?
- 21:03Episode of the Automotive Dating Game.
- 21:05Thanks for joining us.
- 21:06And remember, your next ride might just be one question away, but stay
- 21:11tuned before, after the break for our next event, something we're
- 21:14calling three Wise Bolts that.
- 21:23There's so many podcasts out there.
- 21:25How do I find the one for me?
- 21:29For so long, I've searched for podcasts all over, but none
- 21:33of 'em seem to fit my needs.
- 21:34Where's my Nick Cage Pissing fire podcasts?
- 21:37Where's my monkey tickling?
- 21:39I couldn't find it anywhere until I found everything I learned from Louis's podcast
- 21:43with Steve Nzi, and now I get to hear about all the monkey tickling I want baby.
- 21:50So many podcasts out there are all talk and no Congo.
- 21:54That's why I listen to everything I learned from movies.
- 21:57Greatest Living Actor, Nicholas Cage.
- 21:59Of course, that's why I listen to everything I learned from movies.
- 22:04One-liners, plot holes, gratuitous boobies.
- 22:07Fun fact.
- 22:08That's why I listen to everything I learned from movies.
- 22:11See if everything I learned from movies is right for you at EILF movies.
- 22:15That's.
- 22:15Everything I learned from movies on Twitter, Facebook, or Patreon,
- 22:21free on all the major pod catchers.
- 22:23And we're back to quote our friend Steve and Izzy.
- 22:26Those were just the most amazing ads that ever added in the history of adding.
- 22:31So up next we have three wise vols where we're gonna do a quick round robin of gift
- 22:36ideas for the Petrolhead in your life.
- 22:39This can go one of two ways are lovely.
- 22:41Panelists are gonna suggest gifts that they would have bought for themselves,
- 22:45gifts that they would buy for their best car bestie, and something you must buy.
- 22:50Or are traditional for you, for your ride or for your garage?
- 22:56Well, mine will be lame, so I can start.
- 22:59Well, with that positive endorsement, let's go with Tanya.
- 23:04Please sell a 72 Corvette.
- 23:06Yeah, I don't need anything anymore.
- 23:08I'm good.
- 23:10It does your hair for you.
- 23:11You don't have to, you never have to get a hair dryer again.
- 23:15Exactly.
- 23:15I scratched that off my holiday wishlist this year.
- 23:17But I will need a good brush 'cause it's gonna be a rat's nest.
- 23:21Buy for myself.
- 23:23A racing sim rig.
- 23:24Oh, buy for a car bestie.
- 23:28Any of the Formula one Lego sets.
- 23:31All right.
- 23:32And a must buy.
- 23:34Any car themed apparel is a must buy for any car enthusiast.
- 23:39Check out Blip Shift for custom design t-shirts, or even heel tread for custom
- 23:43livery inspired socks both short and tall.
- 23:47And on your way there.
- 23:48Don't forget to check out lunar replicas.com for your official
- 23:52Ford and Shelby Apparel.
- 23:54Shameless.
- 23:54Sorry.
- 23:55Sorry, I had to throw that in.
- 23:57William, how about you?
- 23:58What have you got for me?
- 24:00I'm gonna buy, I obviously seem like we're not really worried about price here.
- 24:03Since our contestant went over there and went with a sim rig.
- 24:08I would get a, a shoe marker helmet, full size, you know,
- 24:11real legit, raised, worn helmet.
- 24:14Signed by him would be.
- 24:15And then for, uh, my garage, I would definitely buy a legit like golf sign
- 24:21or some sort of nice sign or like a old neon one, something along those lines.
- 24:25They could hang on the wall and the other route I'd go.
- 24:27Then for the one would just be, I mean, a nice remote control.
- 24:31Type, either a Porsche or Ferrari or something along the line, just
- 24:34so someone can play with that.
- 24:35That would be lots of fun.
- 24:36Can race it around the Christmas tree.
- 24:38Nice.
- 24:39Brad, what about your gift ideas?
- 24:41What do you suggest for the car enthusiast that has everything in their life?
- 24:44So I'm going to go out of order a little bit here for my bestie, who's
- 24:49sitting in screen number five here.
- 24:52I'm getting you a book.
- 24:54It is the Automotive Wiring and Electrical System Guide for beginners.
- 24:59Is it for an Alpha 1 56 sports station wagon?
- 25:01It is not.
- 25:02It is not, but it is.
- 25:03It is in large print, and it was printed in September 27th, 2025.
- 25:08Large print.
- 25:09It'll help you a lot with your nine 14.
- 25:12Or somebody else's GTI or somebody else's GTI for the must buy for anybody
- 25:21really that operates in automobile.
- 25:24I said it before, I'll say it again.
- 25:26AAA membership I think is very important.
- 25:28That's about as just as exciting as diagnostic tool I was gonna suggest.
- 25:32Exactly.
- 25:33Exactly.
- 25:35Now for the real prize for myself, I see every Christmas
- 25:41season these car commercials with the big red bow in the hood.
- 25:44And you know what nothing says.
- 25:46I love you quite like a 9 9 1 Porsche nine 11 GT three Rs.
- 25:52So that's what I would buy myself, max.
- 25:55You could empathize there, can't you?
- 25:57Yeah, that was my gift to myself recently.
- 26:00So well, nine nine a 9 9 1 4 SII don't need the GT four rss.
- 26:05Nobody needs the gt.
- 26:08Oh, I I definitely want it a four s with a cob tune.
- 26:11I'm making 450 horsepower.
- 26:13Nobody needs that car either.
- 26:14Exactly.
- 26:15Exactly.
- 26:16Max, you're behind the mic.
- 26:17What are your gifts suggestions for the 2025 season?
- 26:20For my car bestie, who happens to be my my wife?
- 26:25We recently upgraded from her 2014 Cross Trek to a 2021 or
- 26:3222, I forget, uh, Forester.
- 26:34So a Subaru Forester certified pre-owned.
- 26:37It was an excellent bargain and they gave her a really good deal on the,
- 26:40uh, trade-in value on the cross trek.
- 26:42So that was quite an upgrade.
- 26:44Excellent car despite the CVT.
- 26:46Anyway, the uh, um,
- 26:50so the gift to, uh, to myself.
- 26:53I recently bought a 1961 Corvette, which is the last truly good year
- 26:59of the, uh, no, no, I'm sorry.
- 27:0062 is a great year for a C one, but just the perfect styling.
- 27:04It's, it's a C two from the back and a C one from all other angles.
- 27:08It is the perfect Corvette and a gift for the garage or for anybody's garage.
- 27:13I highly recommend if you wrench or if you do.
- 27:16Work yourself.
- 27:17The Ben Pack.
- 27:18Quick jacks.
- 27:19What an awesome, awesome, awesome addition to a garage.
- 27:23I just got mine the other day and it has instantly changed
- 27:29the way I work in the garage.
- 27:30So Ben Pack, quick Jacks and I got the new one, the 6,000 tl, the whatever the
- 27:36regular one is, but the 6,000 pound one.
- 27:38Which has some like added safeties and stuff like that.
- 27:41It can do everything in my collection.
- 27:42I mean, all the way up to a a ca. I have a Porsche Cayenne as well.
- 27:45It can pull the cayenne up.
- 27:47Incredibly well made and I recommend everybody get one.
- 27:50If they can't put a regular set of lifts in their garage, get a quick jack and
- 27:53they go on sale this time of year too.
- 27:55Actually.
- 27:55There's lots of sales.
- 27:56I think Costco used to sell them.
- 27:58Discount codes or anything.
- 27:59Discount code 1, 2, 3.
- 28:02No, I, I don't know.
- 28:03That's the Facebook marketplace code.
- 28:05Yeah.
- 28:06So Max, while we still got you, do you wanna promote any of the
- 28:08wares you have on lunar replicas?
- 28:10Absolutely.
- 28:11Yeah.
- 28:11So, uh, I'm wearing, I'm wearing one of my wares right now, two of my wares.
- 28:15If you're a Shelby fan, if you're a classic car fan, if
- 28:18you're a Ford versus Ferrari fan.
- 28:20We are the original uniform supplier to Shelby and Ford teams
- 28:24in the 1960s, and we're bringing them back out for the public.
- 28:28So you can get our team shirts from 19 64 65, and we'll be releasing the 66
- 28:34team shirts and jackets this winter.
- 28:37You can also get the, the historic 1965.
- 28:40Team jackets and shirts.
- 28:41That was the team that sent seven cars to Laman in 1965 into the
- 28:47historic Daytona coup, the GT 40, mark two, the Cobras, everything.
- 28:51The Ford teams that year were really amazing and the Shelby team
- 28:54itself really made a name for itself and they wore our uniforms there
- 28:59and you can get them yourself.
- 29:01Some great pictures of the guys wearing them when it rained
- 29:04terribly at Sebring in 65.
- 29:07The pits were four feet of water and the, uh, chaparrals were
- 29:11literally like submarines in there.
- 29:13Yet somehow they still won.
- 29:14Who knew?
- 29:15In any case, we make the uniforms.
- 29:16They're exactly the right thing to wear in your Cobra Mustang GT 40 Daytona
- 29:23coop, and they do keep you warm.
- 29:24The jacket is actually quite warm and it has a hood.
- 29:26We are coming out with a helmet bag as well, so it's sort of an overnight bag.
- 29:30We're looking at expanding our line into driving gloves and some other,
- 29:34so sort of the gentleman racer kind of vibe, but very 1960s, possibly a
- 29:39set of driving shoes in the future.
- 29:41Maybe even an affordable watch for you watch fans out there.
- 29:45Now it's time for my picks, so I generally like to.
- 29:49I give a little bit of myself when I give a gift to someone else, right?
- 29:52So something that when they look at it or they use it, or you know,
- 29:56whatever, it reminds them of me.
- 29:57'cause you know, hey, that's important, right?
- 29:59So for my bestie, then there's multiples.
- 30:01But for my bestie, I would get them from the block zone.
- 30:05The 3,886 piece Audi Quatro Group B Rally Car.
- 30:11They can assemble it over those cold winter months in front of the fireplace,
- 30:15and at the end have a one eighth scale model that they put together themselves.
- 30:19That reminds them of me every time they look at it.
- 30:22I love the stuff that the block zone is putting together.
- 30:25There's some very, very cool models.
- 30:27This one obviously speaks to me in very profound ways, but check out the block
- 30:31zone.com for some great Christmas.
- 30:33Ideas for the motorist in your life.
- 30:36It's only 260 bucks too.
- 30:38Wow.
- 30:38Look at that.
- 30:39Yeah, it's really cool.
- 30:40And Black Friday sales are live, so get it at a discount.
- 30:43Fire up the Quattro.
- 30:44All right.
- 30:45For myself, there's a ton of artists that either demonstrate or put their wares.
- 30:51On social media all the time.
- 30:52We've interviewed a bunch of them.
- 30:54Folks like Samantha Zimmerman and Chris Dunlop, and you know, you go on down the
- 30:57line, but there's a new bunch of artists out there that are putting out some really
- 31:02epic, very pointed prints and limited numbers that I really, really enjoy.
- 31:07And the first one that came out, and this comes from ricardo car artwork.com.
- 31:13Was the Alitalia inspired generational list of all the Lancias
- 31:19that wore the Alitalia livery.
- 31:21I think this looks super cool to include the airplane, and then
- 31:24they've branched off and they've included things like the Audis.
- 31:29They've done Porsches, they have this whole chronology
- 31:31series of limited run prints.
- 31:33They're signed by the artists and I think they're just absolutely fabulous.
- 31:37So for me, this is something I wanna put in the hallway.
- 31:40People come over and go, that's super cool.
- 31:41What is that?
- 31:42And so if you're into, you know, the group B era, you're into the group C cars,
- 31:47that kind of thing, that's your style.
- 31:49This is where it's at.
- 31:51I just found my new art piece, the Ferrari two 50 GTO.
- 31:54They've got the Quatro version and the CIA martini.
- 31:57Those are killer.
- 31:58Yeah, they're really cool.
- 32:00What's the tariff on that stuff?
- 32:01Changes every day, right?
- 32:05Unfortunately.
- 32:07Despite the tariffs, they're priced pretty reasonably too.
- 32:10If I remember correctly, they're somewhere around 80 euros, which
- 32:12they are roughly a hundred bucks.
- 32:14That's not bad.
- 32:14Even if you didn't buy it for yourself, you bought it for the
- 32:17enthusiast in your life that you know, really likes that generation of car.
- 32:21These are where it's at, and these are new as of this year, so super, super cool.
- 32:25And finally, a must buy as an AVID one 64th scale model collector.
- 32:32I present you with Thei designs.
- 32:35Diorama display sets for your one 64th cars.
- 32:39You've probably seen these also floating around the internet.
- 32:41They're these really cool, highly detailed dioramas that are like Porsche dealership.
- 32:47There's a seven 11 back behind the ramen shop and you know, all
- 32:50these kinds of things where you can park your themed 1 64 scale models
- 32:54and have a really cool display.
- 32:56They even sell display cases for the dioramas so you can build it out into a
- 33:00wall and have these really cool scenes.
- 33:02They're LED backlit, I mean, just.
- 33:04Absolutely fabulous.
- 33:05Incredibly detailed.
- 33:07Not too, too expensive, but to me, as a collector, these are a must buy.
- 33:12They're also on sale now.
- 33:14Yeah.
- 33:15Price better at all, man.
- 33:15Those are pretty cool.
- 33:1694, 42 down from 1 44 95.
- 33:20That's a bargain.
- 33:22So those are my three gifts.
- 33:24I got my wife a forester, but this is actually cooler.
- 33:27That's, oh man, I, I'm amazed.
- 33:30Anything Porsche is less than like 500 bucks.
- 33:33Actually, that's,
- 33:36it's funny you should say that, max, because what would a drive through holiday
- 33:40special be without some rich people?
- 33:43Thanks.
- 33:44Totally Unrelated to cars.
- 33:45Okay.
- 33:46I recently went to DC for a meeting and I had some spare time.
- 33:51I went to museum called the uh, people's House, which is about the White House,
- 33:55and it was, uh, open just about a year ago by the White House Historic Commission.
- 33:59It tells a lot about the White House and stuff like that, but any case, the
- 34:01gift shop there has some really cool little things, and one of them was.
- 34:06Colognes made by the same companies that made colognes for US Presidents
- 34:13current president excluded, but John F. Kennedy apparently wore Caswell masses',
- 34:19jockey club cologne, and aftershave.
- 34:22And I gotta tell you, for a guy that doesn't wear cologne,
- 34:24I got it for the novelty.
- 34:25I, I live in the 1960s basically, so I got it for the novelty.
- 34:29It is the nicest smelling cologne I've ever come across.
- 34:32It's just unbelievable.
- 34:34Marilyn Monroe liked it.
- 34:36I hear he had a, uh, tennis instructor that was a fan and get
- 34:39it now before the White House is turned into a pink Mar-a-Lago.
- 34:43Yeah, right.
- 34:43Get it, get them now.
- 34:45No kidding.
- 34:45I mean, I'm really not a Cologne person, but this has been transformative.
- 34:49I feel it's vintage, it's historic.
- 34:51They actually were the same company that provided colognes for George Washington.
- 34:55They've been in business.
- 34:56It's a British company.
- 34:57They've been around since Stonehenge or something.
- 34:59Yeah, the Druid smelled great.
- 35:01Are you sure about?
- 35:02That was best.
- 35:05You know, they were working with what they got.
- 35:07You smelled like a donkey.
- 35:08It was an improvement.
- 35:09Anyway, so Caswell Massey.
- 35:11Jockey Club.
- 35:12Seriously, I was blown away by this, and now I get the appeal of John F. Kennedy.
- 35:16It really makes sense.
- 35:17Max, I'm glad you went here because normally under rich people things we
- 35:21would talk about watches and so we'd never really talked about colognes, although
- 35:26we've chatted about it on Discord before.
- 35:28And so you open the door, you open Pandora's box a little bit.
- 35:31So I wanna mention, as many folks might know, I actually wear Ferrari cologne
- 35:36and they have different versions.
- 35:37They have the carbon, they have the Russell.
- 35:39I actually wear the black 'cause I think it smells the best.
- 35:41They had a jello for a while, but you order it from Ferrari, you
- 35:44can actually get it on Amazon.
- 35:46You can get a bunch of different places.
- 35:47It's not that expensive.
- 35:48It makes a great gift.
- 35:49And again, try the sense out.
- 35:51The Black seems to be the most neutral.
- 35:53But it's kind of funny, the number of car manufacturers that actually have colognes.
- 35:57Cadillac, Jaguar, Ferrari.
- 35:59There's Porsche design stuff.
- 36:01Yeah, the Pure, I think it is.
- 36:03Yeah, I think they have them in the stores and stuff.
- 36:05Or if you go to the Porsche, boutiques in malls and things.
- 36:08But more importantly, tying all this back to cars and racing.
- 36:11This summer when we were at Lamont's Classic, William and
- 36:14I actually got the sample.
- 36:15The red, the white and blue colognes, the official 24 hour of Lama colognes
- 36:20that you can buy from the boutique.
- 36:21You can also buy online@boutique.lama.org.
- 36:25Well, it's not red, white, and blue.
- 36:26It'd be blue, white, and red.
- 36:28Yes, yes, that's true.
- 36:29Blue, white, and red.
- 36:30You're right.
- 36:30My point is though, another inexpensive gift that says, Hey, I
- 36:34understand you as a car enthusiast.
- 36:37Here's something you may or may not have.
- 36:39You pick up the bottle and go, Hey, that reminds me of
- 36:41the person that gave it to me.
- 36:42Does it smell like cigarettes, coffee and gasoline?
- 36:45That's red, white cigarettes, coffee and urine and baguettes.
- 36:48I mean, how did you guess Check out all the car inspired colognes that are out
- 36:52there, especially if you're watch shopping or trying to put together a package
- 36:55for the car enthusiast in your life.
- 36:56One more honorable mention along with that Omega.
- 37:00Has the Omega Aqua Terra cologne, which is phenomenal.
- 37:04It is the only other cologne that I have ever liked personally.
- 37:08I haven't tried the Porsche or the Ferrari colognes yet.
- 37:11But the uh, omega aqua is really lovely and it's been the same.
- 37:14They don't have five or six of them, they just have one, and it's sold
- 37:17in boutiques alongside watches.
- 37:19Well, speaking of the watches.
- 37:20Aaron, Shelby showed us his at lama.
- 37:23Is it Fossil bva?
- 37:24Yeah.
- 37:25Yeah, it was bva.
- 37:26I, I'm not sure about Fossil.
- 37:27Bva and Breitling were the two that had them for a little bit.
- 37:30Great line, great price.
- 37:31Yeah.
- 37:31They came out with some awesome watches that are, uh, Shelby themed.
- 37:35Well, William, as we wrap out this rich people thing, segment, do you
- 37:38wanna talk about the new Ferrari two 50 GTO book that came out?
- 37:42This gentleman, this is his first shot at doing this, but he delves into.
- 37:46Every single chassis number of the two 50 GTOs and gets into their history.
- 37:51You wanna talk about thorough.
- 37:53If you're a big fan of the Ferrari two 50 GTO, I mean, this
- 37:57is an outstanding book to get.
- 37:58It's a limited edition.
- 38:00He's only doing a few hundred of them.
- 38:01It gets into.
- 38:03Minute details, great stories about each specific chassis.
- 38:07It's a great coffee table book if you wanna have something that's
- 38:09a good, great conversation piece.
- 38:10Uh, and there's some really cool stories about it in there as well.
- 38:13And he said it is on our website.
- 38:15I know he was taking deposits for it.
- 38:17I'm not sure where it's that.
- 38:17I haven't checked on that lately.
- 38:19I know I put a deposit down and the name of the book is the
- 38:21Ferrari two 50 GTO Spotting Guide.
- 38:24And it even has sections in the book where you can write when you've.
- 38:27Seen A GTO like at Pebble Beach Notes or at another car show.
- 38:31So you can annotate the times you've seen it and it's almost like the
- 38:34Auto Bond Society birdwatching type of book, but for cars.
- 38:37Yeah, it's really interesting.
- 38:38You know, I like what he did with it, like doing that.
- 38:41I guess it's something where you look at it once and you set it
- 38:43down and it starts collecting dust.
- 38:44It's something you can always go back to and look at it like to your point
- 38:47is make notes in there about where you see and everything like that.

- 40:31And much like the classic 1970s National Lampoons movie, what would
- 40:37a Christmas holiday be without a Griswold Family Road trip?
- 40:51This part of the program I kind of wanted to talk about one of the easy.
- 40:55Car related vacations you can take, and that is finding the roads near
- 41:01you that are the coolest to drive on.
- 41:04Whether it's a scenic route, a route that takes you to the most impressive diners
- 41:09or drive-ins, or dives or switchbacks that will make your car spin on a dime.
- 41:17Where would you travel stateside Europe.
- 41:19Where would you like the best roads to travel to if you're traveling
- 41:22even on a budget, it's not the road from Paris to Lamont, right?
- 41:25Will you?
- 41:26God no.
- 41:26That's going.
- 41:27You just drive to, from Indiana, get the same thing.
- 41:29Just close your eyes and say I'm in France.
- 41:33You know what?
- 41:34I wanna go check it out.
- 41:35I had heard about it before, but then kind of escaped my mind and maybe one
- 41:38of you guys, maybe a driven, not max, my Brad, maybe you have, but have you
- 41:42ever heard or driven on the triple nickel down here in southern Ohio?
- 41:45Tencent.
- 41:46Shy of a quarter.
- 41:47Yeah.
- 41:47Where is that?
- 41:48No, look it up.
- 41:49It's like a 60 mile stretch, Southeastern Ohio, just southeast of Columbus,
- 41:54going down to Hocking Hills and that stuff over down to about Athens areas.
- 41:57My understanding, it's supposed to be incredible in Ohio, almost like
- 42:01a tail of the dragon type situa.
- 42:02I mean, not that tight and twisty, but just glass, smooth
- 42:05roads, everything like that.
- 42:06Yeah, so I just came across this the other day, the triple nickel they call it.
- 42:09I'm gonna ask again.
- 42:10In Ohio?
- 42:11Yeah, in Ohio.
- 42:12I mean, I was shocked too.
- 42:13Now, many, many moons ago, I was driving to this little rink town
- 42:18in Kentucky that was right across the river from Ohio Covington.
- 42:22And I had to get off 71 and I was going down these roads and I literally,
- 42:25I stopped at this intersection.
- 42:27'cause I was out in the middle of, this does not seem right, 'cause all of a
- 42:29sudden the road is telling me to go down.
- 42:31Was like fresh asphalt.
- 42:33So I started driving it and it was gorgeous.
- 42:35It went along a river, a stream, and it was just glass smoothly.
- 42:38It just paved, it, hilly, everything like that.
- 42:41Middle of nowhere.
- 42:42And then all of a sudden you pop out onto the one highway
- 42:44that goes along the Ohio River.
- 42:46'cause then other side's, Kentucky.
- 42:47I'm just like outta nowhere.
- 42:48Look up the triple nickel.
- 42:49'cause we're gonna have to maybe do that one day.
- 42:51'cause it, it looks awesome again.
- 42:52I'm gonna ask Ohio, Zanesville, Ohio, apparently due east of Columbus.
- 42:58She got it.
- 42:59It looks like it's Route 7 63 in southern Ohio.
- 43:01Here's a fun thing though.
- 43:03If you wanna deviate off it, you could hit suck, run road
- 43:08just for shits and giggles.
- 43:10I think it's it's West Fork Road you hit and then it dumps you into 7 63,
- 43:14which takes you straight down, basically right to dead ends into the Ohio River.
- 43:18Right across is from Maysville, Kentucky.
- 43:20Which is a really cool little town to Max's point, you know, there's
- 43:23so many, especially the Appalachia area and everything like that.
- 43:26Southern Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and stuff like that.
- 43:29I mean, there are so many cool little towns.
- 43:32They have all the historical things, everything.
- 43:33It's, it's a lot of fun.
- 43:34They're really cool things to go do.
- 43:36Gainesville's right off 70, so if you take 70 over, you pass through that part.
- 43:40Road Track does a lot of stuff on it.
- 43:42Bringing our cars down there, especially when they're up in Detroit.
- 43:44The one that I want to talk about, especially now that my 9 9 1
- 43:49has its winter tires on because below 50 degrees, summer tires
- 43:52on that thing are a little spicy.
- 43:54Pennsylvania.
- 43:55Route 32 takes you through Bucks County, Pennsylvania,
- 43:59through the town of New Hope.
- 44:01It goes along the Delaware River and in fall time it's absolutely gorgeous.
- 44:05So in the wintertime it just looks like.
- 44:09Marshmallow town.
- 44:11I mean, it is, it's one of the nicest drives.
- 44:13It is a Pennsylvania roots, so they do clear it regularly if it snows.
- 44:17Wait a second.
- 44:17You said it looks like a field of marshmallows.
- 44:19This is in Pennsylvania.
- 44:21You didn't mean a pumpkin patch.
- 44:23Orange cones everywhere.
- 44:24It's okay.
- 44:24I assume this episode's coming out in December, so it might
- 44:27have snowed once by then.
- 44:29He, he missed a construction joke.
- 44:32Yeah.
- 44:32Yeah.
- 44:33Oh, oh, yeah.
- 44:33Well, you know, when there's snow on the ground, you can't
- 44:36tell where the potholes are.
- 44:37It makes it more interesting trying to say something about Pennsylvania roads.
- 44:40You know, we have a thing about Pennsylvania roads.
- 44:42If you're going straight down the road, you get pulled over for drunk driving.
- 44:48That's awesome.
- 44:51Philadelphia's pothole, city man.
- 44:53But it's one of the nicest drives and it's just 20, 30 minutes
- 44:57outside downtown Philadelphia.
- 44:58So that's something that you can find.
- 45:00There's actually a number of websites and stuff that you can look up,
- 45:03you know, best drive in my town or in the state that you live in.
- 45:07Speaking of organized drives.
- 45:09William, you joined up with Mike from ESC Carbon Wheels and you did one of the
- 45:13Tail of the Dragon runs with them, right?
- 45:15One of the Porsche runs or something like that.
- 45:16I went there and met up with them when they were doing it.
- 45:19I took my X five and I whipped that thing around on the tail of the dragon.
- 45:22You know, Josh, who puts those together, does an awesome job.
- 45:26And that's Smokey Mountain Drives, if I remember correctly.
- 45:28That's the parent organization.
- 45:30There you go.
- 45:30Of all those different organized rides that they do.
- 45:33And he owns actually, um, it was a building, but he's got a little
- 45:36restaurant and everything there too.
- 45:37Like the one end of it.
- 45:38It's a meeting point.
- 45:39And I said he know he's doing a heck of a job organizing driving this.
- 45:43So, I mean, it's a great little, uh, setup he's got now.
- 45:45I know me.
- 45:45I mean, you've had many conversations about paying for going on a public road
- 45:49and everything like that, but if you've never been to Tail of Dragon, it's kind
- 45:51of like one of those must see things.
- 45:53Hey, if you're a car person, you gotta go drive it.
- 45:55It's just a lot of fun.
- 45:56But giving someone $300, it's a public road.
- 45:58Just go whenever you want and drive it.
- 46:00I dunno, I guess it's a camaraderie group and they're getting, you
- 46:02know, two, 300 people to go on this.
- 46:05So, I mean, they got a couple hundred cars and he's not just doing
- 46:08Porsche, he does Corvette, he does air cooled only, stuff like that.
- 46:11So, I mean, he, he's really got something there in regards to.
- 46:14That crowd and just getting together and there's a resort, you
- 46:18know, they got cabins, everything right, but they're really nice.
- 46:20Like basically little houses got a main area of where the big
- 46:24gathering, everything like that.
- 46:25It's a lot of fun.
- 46:26I mean, it's really cool and not only just being part of that group, but all
- 46:29the other people you're gonna meet there.
- 46:31There's just tons and tons of people that go there.
- 46:33Now you're gonna have your morons and everything like that too.
- 46:36There are just hundreds and hundreds of youngsters running around on those little
- 46:41a d CCC or whatever the heck you call 'em, one twenty five CCC with the small wheels,
- 46:45whatever, you know, whatever you wanna call 'em, little monkey bikes, whatever,
- 46:47just whipping all over the place on that.
- 46:49But I will say they do look out for everyone because
- 46:52they do that universal thing.
- 46:53If there's a cop ahead, they tap their head.
- 46:55So if you're going the opposite way, you'll kind of give you a heads up.
- 46:57That's really cool.
- 46:58That's definitely a must do for someone.
- 47:01That's the road that's known now here, say in the eastern United States to hit and
- 47:05you got angels Crest on the West coast.
- 47:07It's really cool too.
- 47:07If you never did that, definitely go do that as well.
- 47:10And again, public road, don't have to pay anyone to go on it.
- 47:12To close out that thought.
- 47:13If you're thinking about this as a holiday gift for the car enthusiast in your
- 47:17life, check out the different car clubs.
- 47:20Because they oftentimes organize cover bridges, tours, or these like back road,
- 47:26you know, road rallies and stuff where they do these destination, what they call
- 47:30drive and dines and things like that.
- 47:32And you don't have to look too much further than clubs like SCCA.
- 47:36The Porsche Club, the Audi Club, BMW, doesn't matter really what kind of car
- 47:40you drive, they'll welcome anybody.
- 47:42But they do organize these types of trips and they're low cost, low risk,
- 47:47high fun type of gift that you can give.
- 47:49And you can do it together.
- 47:50You can do it as a family.
- 47:51Max, you're talking, you have a cayenne, why not pack the whole
- 47:54family in and go for a road trip?
- 47:56Yeah.
- 47:56The best also is you'll find some really interesting stores
- 48:00and shops and restaurants.
- 48:02Along those roots, some of them that have been there for a long time.
- 48:06I, I'm a huge fan of the Hole in the Wall diner.
- 48:09And, uh, you know, my family always made a point that we'd never go
- 48:12to like a Red Robin or something.
- 48:14If you're in somebody's town, try the local flavor.
- 48:17I gotta tell you, now that I've been, I've been driving my 61 Corvette quite a bit.
- 48:21I got it about a month ago, and I drive it a lot until it started getting cold out.
- 48:25Park that in front of a restaurant and take a picture and put it up on
- 48:29Instagram or something like that.
- 48:30It's actually, it's a good hit for that restaurant.
- 48:32You'd be amazed what is alongside these historic roads, not on the highway.
- 48:37You know, like these are little state route and things like that.
- 48:40Your question's kind of tough.
- 48:41Because immediately you get all the top gear, roads that come to mind,
- 48:45Stelvio Pass, and to your point, tail of the Dragon, I mean, you know all
- 48:49these famous roads, but it's those roads in your area that maybe you don't
- 48:52think about so much and maybe some of them you just take for granted.
- 48:55You're like, Hey, it's a bunch of, you know, hilly roads.
- 48:57Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia and Owens around is awesome.
- 48:59I'd never recommend it.
- 49:01Obviously if it's busy, it's stop and go and there's a lot of blind turns.
- 49:04But I did it the other night at about 11, and my license
- 49:08plate number is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
- 49:11Pennsylvania State Police in the 9 9 1 at like 11 or one
- 49:15o'clock in the morning or so.
- 49:16Lincoln Drive is incredible.
- 49:18There's also, there's like West River Drive and stuff, which is beautiful
- 49:21and it's also, they just reopened West River Drive, which bypasses I 76.
- 49:26The Schuell Expressway down the Schull River, and it's one of
- 49:29the nicest, you know, and you come right up at the art museum.
- 49:31So like, there are these great little moments that you can
- 49:34have, even if you live in a city.
- 49:36I'm just, I'm just talking about Philadelphia, New York.
- 49:39Uh, I almost got into a fender bender on the Bronx Expressway on Wednesday.
- 49:42But like, there's little places that you can find anywhere if you wanna take
- 49:46your car out, whether it's fast or not.
- 49:48I mean, it really, it can be a scenic drive.
- 49:50There's lovely places around dc.
- 49:52There's places obviously in LA and stuff.
- 49:54You wanna have a weekend in Las Vegas.
- 49:56That ride from LA to Vegas is a lot of fun.
- 50:00It's a lot of straightaways through the desert, through Barstow and stuff.
- 50:03And if you are in that DC metro area, to your point of a scenic ride, the Blue
- 50:08Ridge or Skyline Drive, that whole area is only a couple hours outside the city.
- 50:13And.
- 50:14Obviously in the fall time it's a very popular destination to see all
- 50:19the colors changing and the trees.
- 50:21It's not going to be a high speed road trip because it's
- 50:23definitely governed, 'cause you're entering Shenandoah National Park.
- 50:27But it is definitely worth it if you are in the area and you've never been before.
- 50:31You know, and Tanya brings up a good point.
- 50:32I was thinking, how do I not talk about something like Blue
- 50:36Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive?
- 50:38Even out west things like, you know, the Canyon Roads, Mulholland
- 50:41and Angela's crests and all those types of places like that.
- 50:44And the one that actually popped into my head, which is a really great driving
- 50:48road, which you're not supposed to do with a truck and trailer, a big one.
- 50:52But when you're hauling a race car, that's a different story.
- 50:54It's actually the Taconic State Parkway on the way to Limerock
- 50:58the whole way up through New York to Connecticut to go to Limerock.
- 51:02That is a heck of a drive.
- 51:03It's beautiful old New England, tight, windy roads all the way up.
- 51:08From the city to the racetrack.
- 51:10It's kinda like a double destination.
- 51:12You wanna drive the road to Limerock so you can get to
- 51:14Limerock and drive Limerock.
- 51:16You might as well double down.
- 51:18So to me, that's the kind of great escape road that I would take,
- 51:22especially as an automotive enthusiast.
- 51:24I think that would be a lot of fun.
- 51:25I got one route, nine N.
- 51:27From Lake George to Ty Kon Rogan, New York.
- 51:31It's spring, summer, fall.
- 51:32It's amazing.
- 51:33In the wintertime, you think you're gonna die, but the uh, route nine
- 51:36end alongside on the west side of Lake George going north or coming
- 51:40back down is absolutely incredible and so much so that they have built.
- 51:43Four or five lookout points where you just have to pull over and take a picture.
- 51:48That's a lot of fun.
- 51:49I did that in the Cayenne actually recently.
- 51:51We, we were at a show up in Tay Kon rug in New York and stayed in Lake George
- 51:55and went up and down every day for this thing, and that was a lot of fun too.
- 51:59Good Call Max.
- 52:00I like that.
- 52:01That's a good holiday gift.
- 52:02Quick, easy vacation you can take with your car and with
- 52:07special someone or by yourself.
- 52:08It's something cost nothing but a tank of gas.
- 52:11Well, Brad, I guess it's time we bring this holiday episode to a close.
