World Cup Stadium Sheds Temporary Seats | Toronto News
The World Cup’s temporary Toronto stadium is already being dismantled—despite two weeks left in the tournament—after adding 17,000 seats to hit FIFA’s 43,000-capacity requirement. One of only five soccer-only venues built for the event, it hosted six matches including a knockout game. Now shrinking back to its usual 28,180 capacity, the field is getting a permanent upgrade: new illuminated signs and a rooftop display. The stadium returns to owners on July 22nd, ready for the Toronto Argonauts and Toronto FC in August. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
