- 2:23Speaker 2: My girl, Allie Shapiro, daughter of Jill Zarin, Real Housewives
- 2:28Speaker 2: of New York. We met her when she was a
- 2:30Speaker 2: little 14-year-old girl. Well, she's all grown up and she
- 2:34Speaker 2: got engaged this weekend to her fabulous boyfriend, now fiance, Jordan.
- 2:40Speaker 2: She has a big, huge rock. I'm so excited for her.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I met her when she was 13. Well, I guess maybe, no,
- 2:47Speaker 2: maybe I met her. When did she get on the show? Whatever.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I met her first season of the show and she
- 2:52Speaker 2: was so cute and she was the one who taught
- 2:54Speaker 2: me how to join Twitter. She was on Twitter before
- 2:57Speaker 2: I was and she explained how it worked to me.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But now she's all grown up. She has a successful business.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Follow her. She and her mom, Jill, have a successful
- 3:07Speaker 2: business with fabulous products, anything from candles to home goods.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Check it out. Follow her. But so happy for her
- 3:16Speaker 2: that she got engaged at the end of a beautiful
- 3:18Speaker 2: vacation that she was celebrating with her mom, Jill and Gary.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And the four of them have so much fun together,
- 3:24Speaker 2: which is so sweet because she is an only child
- 3:27Speaker 2: and I love their relationship and I can't wait to
- 3:29Speaker 2: go to the wedding. Thank you.
- 3:31Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:32Speaker 2: This is, this is very interesting news regarding Matthew Perry's horrible,
- 3:39Speaker 2: untimely death where he struggled with addiction and was found
- 3:45Speaker 2: in his own jacuzzi where they found that he had
- 3:48Speaker 2: an enormous amount of ketamine in him. This is a
- 3:52Speaker 2: drug that is used for therapy but can oftentimes be
- 3:56Speaker 2: horribly abused in which that was his case. And five
- 4:00Speaker 2: people have been arrested. This is kind of unprecedented and
- 4:07Speaker 2: I'm very grateful that this is happening and I'm sure
- 4:09Speaker 2: you are too. The five people are this woman called
- 4:13Speaker 2: the Ketamine Queen. And her friends are saying, I can't
- 4:16Speaker 2: believe it. She goes to charity events. She's been to
- 4:19Speaker 2: the Oscars. She's so fabulous. Well, she's looking at either
- 4:25Speaker 2: life imprisonment or a huge amount of time. But she
- 4:29Speaker 2: is fighting it. She is going to trial. She was
- 4:33Speaker 2: supposedly the one that was supplying all this ketamine to
- 4:37Speaker 2: drug dealers as well as two doctors. So two doctors
- 4:40Speaker 2: have been arrested who also administered ketamine. and supplied the ketamine,
- 4:46Speaker 2: they have found that there's text messages from these doctors saying,
- 4:50Speaker 2: how much can we charge this moron? It's really not
- 4:53Speaker 2: an expensive drug. And from what I've seen, besides giving
- 4:58Speaker 2: him so many drugs that it killed him, they overcharged
- 5:00Speaker 2: him on top of it. Then there is a drug
- 5:04Speaker 2: dealer named Eric Fleming that was the go-between between the
- 5:07Speaker 2: ketamine queen and the doctors and his assistant. His assistant
- 5:15Speaker 2: is 59 years old. His name is Kenny Iomasa. He's
- 5:22Speaker 2: 59 and he was with him for like 25 years
- 5:27Speaker 2: as a personal assistant. He has pled guilty and he
- 5:30Speaker 2: is facing 15 years for administering a drug that led
- 5:36Speaker 2: to death. And he was giving him injections. The doctor
- 5:40Speaker 2: taught him how to do it, but he would oftentimes
- 5:42Speaker 2: do it on his own Of course, it was, I'm sure,
- 5:45Speaker 2: the request of his boss, Matthew Perry, which is this
- 5:49Speaker 2: weird place that sometimes personal assistants get into, especially with
- 5:55Speaker 2: celebrities that have drug and alcohol problems. You know, they're
- 5:59Speaker 2: kind of that catch-all. They do everything from picking up
- 6:01Speaker 2: your dry cleaning to, unfortunately, this. I don't think he's
- 6:05Speaker 2: innocent at all. I'm glad that he is, you know,
- 6:09Speaker 2: that he pled guilty, but he's most likely going to
- 6:11Speaker 2: do some time for it. In describing himself as a
- 6:16Speaker 2: personal assistant on social media, he wrote, I thrive in
- 6:19Speaker 2: chaotic situations. Interesting. Which call for order. I am discreet,
- 6:25Speaker 2: running around. There's so much to this case, but if
- 6:28Speaker 2: you read it, it's like there's all these text messages
- 6:31Speaker 2: where he's reaching out to the doctors and to the
- 6:35Speaker 2: drug dealer and being like, I'll meet you at 3rd
- 6:37Speaker 2: Street Promenade. How much is it? And writing in code,
- 6:40Speaker 2: calling it Dr. Pepper. I need more cans of Dr. Pepper.
- 6:43Speaker 2: which is code for vials of ketamine. One of the
- 6:46Speaker 2: doctors is like, I know you said you wanted to
- 6:49Speaker 2: take a break from it, but I have plenty for you,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and the nurse knows to give it to you if
- 6:53Speaker 2: you ask while I'm away. I mean, and it was
- 6:57Speaker 2: like the schedule leading up to his death was just
- 7:01Speaker 2: every day, every day, every day, getting more and more
- 7:03Speaker 2: huge doses to Matthew Perry. He also writes about himself, Kenneth,
- 7:09Speaker 2: I am discreet, loyal, and honor absolute confidentiality. I love deadlines, contracts,
- 7:16Speaker 2: dotting I's, and solving puzzling situations and projects. Anyway, so
- 7:23Speaker 2: I think it's great that we have these five people.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Like I said, the doctor and the ketamine queen woman,
- 7:31Speaker 2: they are going to go to trial and try to
- 7:34Speaker 2: defend themselves. But they're looking at a lot of years.
- 7:38Speaker 2: One of them is looking at life in prison. The
- 7:41Speaker 2: assistant is looking at 15 years. And, of course, to
- 7:46Speaker 2: remind you guys, this is Matthew Perry's stepdad for many,
- 7:52Speaker 2: many years, married his mother, is Dateline's Keith Morrison. So,
- 7:59Speaker 2: you know, I wonder if that had anything to do
- 8:02Speaker 2: with it. Maybe, maybe knowing about the law, pushing for
- 8:05Speaker 2: it helped get this cracked open. I hope that more
- 8:09Speaker 2: people that have loved ones that have passed, that they
- 8:12Speaker 2: are searching who sold the ketamine, who sold the fentanyl,
- 8:17Speaker 2: like let's find out who these people are and get
- 8:19Speaker 2: them off the street so more families are saved. But
- 8:24Speaker 2: this was some positive news in that sad tragedy of addiction. Okay,
- 8:29Speaker 2: a little update on the Blake Lively and Justin Baldino. Well,
- 8:34Speaker 2: Justin Baldino had hired this PR firm. Allegedly, this is
- 8:38Speaker 2: the same PR firm that worked for Johnny Depp. This
- 8:42Speaker 2: is what I heard, I might be wrong, that worked
- 8:44Speaker 2: for Johnny Depp in getting stories out about Amber Heard. Suddenly,
- 8:49Speaker 2: all these stories about Blake Lively are coming up. We
- 8:52Speaker 2: see a video of her being quite rude and to
- 8:55Speaker 2: an interviewer while she's sitting next to her co-star, Parker Posey,
- 8:59Speaker 2: where it was just such a bitchy, mean girl moment.
- 9:03Speaker 2: The interviewer is like, congratulations on your bump. Blake Lively
- 9:08Speaker 2: is pregnant. She goes, congratulations on your bump. And Blake goes,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and congratulations on your bump. And the woman was not pregnant.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And now Blake didn't know this, but she actually struggled
- 9:19Speaker 2: with fertility. So that was extra bitchy. And then the
- 9:22Speaker 2: two of them, she and Parker Posey, it doesn't make
- 9:24Speaker 2: Parker Posey look great either, are just talking to each
- 9:27Speaker 2: other like this and ignoring this interviewer. So she's come out.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I don't know if the PR company found her and
- 9:35Speaker 2: was like, you should tell the story. Or with all this,
- 9:38Speaker 2: she's like, I got a story to tell because I've
- 9:39Speaker 2: noticed a lot of people on both camps, pro and anti,
- 9:45Speaker 2: Justin and Blake are speaking. And some stories are juicier
- 9:48Speaker 2: than others. So there's many cases in which he's coming
- 9:53Speaker 2: off real bitchy. Now, the problem they had with this movie,
- 9:57Speaker 2: to remind you guys, he is the director. and star
- 10:00Speaker 2: of it and she is the star of it and
- 10:02Speaker 2: the producer. And they did– they conflicted creatively. He wanted
- 10:07Speaker 2: a certain ending that he felt was more true to
- 10:09Speaker 2: the book. That was about a woman escaping generational domestic
- 10:14Speaker 2: violence from her partner and saying it ends with us.
- 10:18Speaker 2: My daughter and I won't let this happen to us
- 10:20Speaker 2: again in her life. And she presented it and wanted
- 10:25Speaker 2: to promote it as bring your girlfriends, bring your flowers.
- 10:28Speaker 2: This is like a really great, fun, girly movie to see.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Somewhat promoting it like this is this year's Barbie. Go
- 10:34Speaker 2: get your girls and come. And so they conflicted on
- 10:38Speaker 2: the edit. It got the more Blake Lively feminine edit.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And therefore they were not promoting it together, though he
- 10:44Speaker 2: has not blatantly said anything badly about her. Sources say
- 10:48Speaker 2: she didn't like Justin because at one point she heard
- 10:51Speaker 2: that he asked how much she weighed because he had
- 10:54Speaker 2: to pick her up and he has a bad back
- 10:56Speaker 2: and he wanted to work with his trainer before picking
- 10:58Speaker 2: her up. She was sensitive to that. She just had
- 11:01Speaker 2: her fourth baby, so she didn't like him. She also allegedly,
- 11:04Speaker 2: according to a source, said the kisses lingered too long.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Then there's people that are coming out having great stories
- 11:11Speaker 2: about Justin and one girl said, when my boyfriend was
- 11:16Speaker 2: going to ask me to marry him, he reached out
- 11:18Speaker 2: to some of my favorite stars and asked if they
- 11:20Speaker 2: could give a video about it. And Justin actually answered.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And in his video, he made it very clear, like,
- 11:27Speaker 2: it sounds like you have a great guy. And if
- 11:29Speaker 2: this is something you choose to do and you accept
- 11:31Speaker 2: his proposal, I hope it's a beautiful life. And she's like,
- 11:34Speaker 2: I really like that. He was the only person out
- 11:37Speaker 2: of these stars, men and women that in talking about
- 11:40Speaker 2: the engagement, knew that I still had a choice in
- 11:43Speaker 2: saying yes or no. So she was very pro him.
- 11:46Speaker 2: There's been a couple stories where women are saying he
- 11:48Speaker 2: was a little flirty with them. He was a little
- 11:50Speaker 2: flirty at a front desk at a doctor's office. He
- 11:53Speaker 2: was a little flirty with this college girl that brought
- 11:58Speaker 2: him to a speaking engagement at the college. She felt
- 12:01Speaker 2: he hugged her a little long. I mean, some of
- 12:03Speaker 2: these things are stretching. They're also going back into Blake
- 12:05Speaker 2: Lively interviews as far back as 2009 and 2012, in
- 12:10Speaker 2: which she has said some really politically incorrect statements about
- 12:16Speaker 2: transgender people. So then people go, well, hey, that was
- 12:21Speaker 2: 15 years ago and people spoke like that. Other people
- 12:23Speaker 2: are saying, hey, I was 12 and knew not to
- 12:25Speaker 2: speak like that in 2012. So it's all coming out.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So it's not great. She is staying silent, which I
- 12:33Speaker 2: think is probably the wise thing to do is not
- 12:35Speaker 2: to address all these little chatter things. However, it makes for,
- 12:39Speaker 2: you know, people are talking. Everybody's coming out of the
- 12:42Speaker 2: woodwork saying either positive or negative things. And I have
- 12:47Speaker 2: yet to see the movie. I would like to maybe
- 12:49Speaker 2: go see it this weekend and then give a review
- 12:51Speaker 2: of what I think. But I have not read the
- 12:54Speaker 2: book either. But there you go with that. Mauricio of
- 12:58Speaker 2: Kyle and Mauricio of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and
- 13:00Speaker 2: Buying Beverly Hills. Netflix is not bringing it back for
- 13:03Speaker 2: a third season. I was a little surprised by this
- 13:05Speaker 2: because I was invited to a Netflix party that was
- 13:09Speaker 2: just featuring their reality TV shows at this beautiful estate
- 13:15Speaker 2: in Bel Air. I talked about it. And there was
- 13:17Speaker 2: the Ryan Serhan from the Buying Manhattan show. There was
- 13:22Speaker 2: all the Buying Beverly Hills people there. And this was
- 13:25Speaker 2: only a couple months ago. There were the Selling Sunset people.
- 13:28Speaker 2: There were all the Love is Blind and all that.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And so I thought it was coming back. But when
- 13:33Speaker 2: I talked to some of them, they were like, we're
- 13:35Speaker 2: waiting to see. And they're not. You know, I think
- 13:39Speaker 2: it must have just not had the ratings they wanted.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And I liked it. I enjoyed it. But when I
- 13:46Speaker 2: look back, I don't think it had the drama and
- 13:49Speaker 2: people weren't as invested in the actual characters of the
- 13:52Speaker 2: other real estate people the way they are with– million
- 13:56Speaker 2: dollar listing with like Josh Flagg or selling Sunset. So
- 14:01Speaker 2: it's not coming back. There you go. Ariana of Vanderpump Rules,
- 14:07Speaker 2: her brother, Jeremy, who was featured on the show, but
- 14:11Speaker 2: there's been some talk about how they have, there's some distance.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And some of the narrative out there was that, you know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: she's become too high on her horse for him and
- 14:21Speaker 2: She wasn't there for his birthday, though Sheena was, and
- 14:23Speaker 2: she wasn't there when he asked his girlfriend to get married.
- 14:26Speaker 2: So people were kind of like trying to figure out
- 14:28Speaker 2: what's the riff. Is it just that she's busy? Is
- 14:31Speaker 2: that she's disassociating herself because she's too great? Or is
- 14:34Speaker 2: it just we're siblings and we're just like not hanging
- 14:37Speaker 2: out right now? It's not a big deal. Well, he
- 14:39Speaker 2: got arrested for allegedly trying to fly from Florida, Orlando, Florida,
- 14:47Speaker 2: to Germany with a suitcase. with 76 pounds of marijuana. Now,
- 14:53Speaker 2: can I just say as someone who flies a lot,
- 14:56Speaker 2: maybe don't go over the weight limit. I'm just saying
- 14:58Speaker 2: if you're smuggling drugs and you don't want to draw
- 15:00Speaker 2: attention to yourself. I mean, there's been times when I
- 15:04Speaker 2: go and it's now you can pay extra for this
- 15:07Speaker 2: if it's up to 75. OK, but I always do
- 15:10Speaker 2: the 50. But then there's times where it's like 52.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And the girl kind of looks at me and is like,
- 15:15Speaker 2: I got you, girl. And she just throws it on
- 15:17Speaker 2: the thing. And then there's been other times where I'm
- 15:19Speaker 2: that person opening it up, removing the heavy shoes or
- 15:23Speaker 2: whatever to get down to the numbers. So I don't
- 15:26Speaker 2: know what happened. But, you know, in defense of her,
- 15:29Speaker 2: maybe she knew that he was doing something throughout his
- 15:33Speaker 2: life that she didn't totally agree with. Maybe she doesn't
- 15:36Speaker 2: know at all. But this doesn't look good. Oh, and
- 15:40Speaker 2: I also heard that allegedly Sheena and Lala are filming
- 15:44Speaker 2: The Valley together. to kind of make up for Jax.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Jax is not on the show right now because he's
- 15:51Speaker 2: in a rehab or a mental place to get himself
- 15:57Speaker 2: together while he's separated from Brittany. So that's kind of interesting.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And of course, still no word on if the show
- 16:04Speaker 2: is coming back.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Vanderpump.
- 16:06Speaker 2: But she's meanwhile back in Chicago singing, doing fabulous. And
- 16:11Speaker 2: we'll see what happens with the brother. Okay, now I
- 16:13Speaker 2: want to talk about a very juicy case. It's one
- 16:16Speaker 2: that I've talked about many times these past nine years.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It is the Lacey Peterson, Scott Peterson case. There is
- 16:23Speaker 2: a three-part documentary on Netflix. I highly recommend it, whether
- 16:26Speaker 2: you're very familiar with this case, as I am, or not.
- 16:31Speaker 2: There were things in there I was not aware of.
- 16:34Speaker 2: To tell you this was the inspiration for the book
- 16:37Speaker 2: and movie Gone Girl, It was a very good looking couple.
- 16:41Speaker 2: She was adorable. They lived in Modesto, which a middle
- 16:45Speaker 2: class neighborhood and a cute house. They had only been
- 16:48Speaker 2: married a few years. They got married right out of college.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And she was nine months pregnant when she went missing
- 16:53Speaker 2: with their baby on Christmas Eve. And he came home
- 16:59Speaker 2: and she wasn't there. He took ate some pizza, took
- 17:02Speaker 2: a shower, was like, where is she? He sees the
- 17:05Speaker 2: dogs in the backyard with the leash on. He calls
- 17:08Speaker 2: his mother-in-law, who lives in the neighborhood. That's why they
- 17:11Speaker 2: moved there, to be close to her mom. And he's like,
- 17:14Speaker 2: I don't know where she, where's Lacey? She's not, is
- 17:18Speaker 2: she with you? And she goes, no, she's not with me.
- 17:19Speaker 2: And he goes, well, then she's missing. People always thought
- 17:22Speaker 2: that was weird that he used the word missing. He
- 17:24Speaker 2: calls the friends. The mom's not going to waste any time.
- 17:27Speaker 2: She gets her husband, who is Lacey's stepfather, and they
- 17:30Speaker 2: go to start looking around where she would have walked
- 17:34Speaker 2: with the dog, which was near this River, which the
- 17:36Speaker 2: house looks super cute, but there was some sketchy crime
- 17:39Speaker 2: stuff happening within the vicinity, like within blocks of where
- 17:43Speaker 2: their house was. There was a robbery across the street.
- 17:47Speaker 2: There was always some discrepancy of when that robbery took place.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Could Lacey have seen it and intercepted it and they,
- 17:55Speaker 2: in fact, hurt her and not her husband? Of course,
- 17:58Speaker 2: the husband becomes the suspect. He tells the mother, Lacey's mother,
- 18:05Speaker 2: I was golfing. When he gets taken into custody to
- 18:08Speaker 2: ask some questions, not arrested, but ask questions, he said,
- 18:12Speaker 2: I took my boat out fishing. I was going to golf.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It was too cold. So I went to my storage
- 18:17Speaker 2: unit and took my little fishing boat and hooked it
- 18:20Speaker 2: up to my car and went and put it in
- 18:23Speaker 2: the water. And I went around fishing. And he says
- 18:25Speaker 2: exactly where he went in this area, which was quite
- 18:28Speaker 2: a drive. And she was going to finish making cookies.
- 18:31Speaker 2: We woke up that morning. We watched Martha Stewart. It
- 18:33Speaker 2: was an episode about meringue pie or something. And then
- 18:36Speaker 2: I left. And then I came home and realized like
- 18:40Speaker 2: her purse was there. The dog on the leash was there.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And I did everything right. They're like, well, do you
- 18:46Speaker 2: have any witnesses to fishing? He's like, well, I have
- 18:49Speaker 2: my ticket from when I checked the boat in. So
- 18:52Speaker 2: that timeline is he would have been gone when she
- 18:55Speaker 2: would have been walking the dog or not. So a
- 18:59Speaker 2: lot of people are like, he's very suspicious. He's doing interviews.
- 19:02Speaker 2: He's good looking. He doesn't seem sad. Then the bombshell happens.
- 19:07Speaker 2: This girl, Amber Fry, comes out. She's like, I'm his girlfriend.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I was his girlfriend. And he went to a Christmas
- 19:12Speaker 2: party with me. He was into my daughter. I'm a
- 19:15Speaker 2: single mom. And he told me that this would be
- 19:19Speaker 2: his first Christmas without his wife, that his wife had passed. Okay.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Everyone's like, holy shit. They still don't arrest him. There's
- 19:28Speaker 2: no body. There's no blood in the house. There's nothing.
- 19:31Speaker 2: There's no mattresses missing. There's no sheets missing, things like that. Now,
- 19:36Speaker 2: this is also over 20 years ago, so it's not
- 19:38Speaker 2: like they're looking at, oh, did he search Google this?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Did he Google that? No, there's nothing like that. So
- 19:45Speaker 2: there's so much to the case, and I can't go
- 19:47Speaker 2: through it all, but in watching it, the mother is
- 19:53Speaker 2: still mourning her daughter and son, obviously. What happens is
- 19:56Speaker 2: four months later, the partial body of Lacey goes up
- 20:02Speaker 2: on shore as well as the nine-month baby. They don't
- 20:07Speaker 2: know if the baby was born. This is the one
- 20:09Speaker 2: thing they didn't know. And this is graphic and I'm sorry,
- 20:11Speaker 2: but they don't know if her body was thrown into
- 20:14Speaker 2: the ocean and because of, and maybe there was anchors
- 20:17Speaker 2: holding her down and then because of fish and stuff,
- 20:20Speaker 2: it floated back up. And at some point the baby
- 20:23Speaker 2: had separated from the stomach or was she and the
- 20:27Speaker 2: baby put there separately, which then would have made it
- 20:31Speaker 2: that it wasn't him. They couldn't prove it. The defense
- 20:35Speaker 2: and the prosecution could not prove when, in fact, she
- 20:39Speaker 2: was killed. He gets arrested the day they find the bodies.
- 20:44Speaker 2: They find in his car that he has dyed his
- 20:46Speaker 2: hair orange. He has $ 15, 000 in cash. He has his
- 20:49Speaker 2: brother's ID. He has some knives. He has some extra clothes.
- 20:53Speaker 2: But the day that they caught him, he was just
- 20:55Speaker 2: in San Diego going to Torrey Pines, and he had
- 20:57Speaker 2: a tea time. And they were like, was he going
- 21:01Speaker 2: to Mexico to escape? So now he does get convicted.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Amber takes the stand. He gets convicted. One thing interesting
- 21:10Speaker 2: is the two people, the two men that they talked to,
- 21:13Speaker 2: the jurors that convicted him of murder and sentenced him
- 21:16Speaker 2: to life, were being interviewed. And my sister Shannon was there,
- 21:21Speaker 2: who's a criminal defense attorney. And she goes, well, now
- 21:23Speaker 2: this is a defense attorney's dream for this case.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I go, what do you mean?
- 21:26Speaker 2: She goes to have two straight white males doing a
- 21:30Speaker 2: case in which they're looking at him. One guy even says,
- 21:32Speaker 2: I didn't believe Scott could do it. He looked like
- 21:34Speaker 2: my son. Cheating on your wife doesn't mean that you're
- 21:37Speaker 2: guilty of doing this crime. They do end up convicting him.
- 21:42Speaker 2: He gets life. He since has been taken off death
- 21:44Speaker 2: row and is now doing life without parole. Tonight, Tuesday,
- 21:49Speaker 2: on Peacock, he now is going to be speaking for
- 21:53Speaker 2: the first time in an interview. Now, he has always
- 21:58Speaker 2: said he was innocent. He always said he did not
- 22:00Speaker 2: do this. There was And basically the case in his
- 22:04Speaker 2: innocence since he's been put away, which his sister-in-law has
- 22:07Speaker 2: been at the helm of, has involved witnesses that said
- 22:10Speaker 2: they did see her walking that morning, which would not
- 22:13Speaker 2: have made sense because how could she be walking that
- 22:15Speaker 2: morning if he was dumping her body in the sea?
- 22:19Speaker 2: There have been, like I said, there were crimes. There
- 22:23Speaker 2: was another woman who went missing who was very pregnant.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Did somebody want her baby? Did someone take her? then
- 22:31Speaker 2: see what was going on in the news. It was
- 22:33Speaker 2: all the news where he was fishing that day and
- 22:35Speaker 2: kind of framed him for it. Those are the things.
- 22:38Speaker 2: So what could he possibly say in this interview, which
- 22:42Speaker 2: I'm going to be watching tonight. And all I can,
- 22:46Speaker 2: these are the, these are a few of the things
- 22:48Speaker 2: that I think that he might say if he's going
- 22:51Speaker 2: to stick with his innocence plea, which he most likely
- 22:55Speaker 2: is because he's got the LA innocence project, um, supporting him,
- 22:59Speaker 2: and that's because they found a piece of duct tape
- 23:01Speaker 2: that was never tested, and they want it tested to
- 23:04Speaker 2: see if there's someone else's DNA on it. Where this
- 23:06Speaker 2: duct tape was found on her body, where it could be,
- 23:09Speaker 2: could it have been some trash from something else that
- 23:11Speaker 2: was attached to her? I don't know. But I'm just predicting.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I do not think he's innocent. You know, I'm just
- 23:19Speaker 2: saying from what I've gathered, what I think he might
- 23:22Speaker 2: say is, yes, I was a Amber Fry wasn't the
- 23:29Speaker 2: first girl I cheated with. I cheated with other people.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I've heard from people that were at a fertilizing convention
- 23:36Speaker 2: with him. And this girl's husband said, I remember from
- 23:40Speaker 2: 20 years ago when this news article came up and
- 23:42Speaker 2: he popped up, he goes, I was at a convention
- 23:44Speaker 2: with that guy. There's no way that guy was married.
- 23:47Speaker 2: He was acting like a single guy. So I think
- 23:49Speaker 2: he was living a double life. I think you can
- 23:51Speaker 2: say I was living a double life and getting away
- 23:52Speaker 2: with it. It was feeding my ego. I got him
- 23:56Speaker 2: married a little too young. I wasn't totally into having
- 23:58Speaker 2: this baby, but I was getting away with it. Once
- 24:02Speaker 2: she went missing, I realized I was being seen as
- 24:06Speaker 2: a suspect. I certainly didn't want this girlfriend of mine,
- 24:09Speaker 2: Amber Fry, to turn on me. So I was continuing
- 24:13Speaker 2: the flirting in which all these conversations were taped, in
- 24:15Speaker 2: which he lied and said he was in Paris on
- 24:17Speaker 2: New Year's Eve. So that's how I think he's going
- 24:19Speaker 2: to explain the Amber Fry thing. But I was a
- 24:23Speaker 2: really bad husband and I cheated. But in the beginning,
- 24:26Speaker 2: I started keeping the lies. I told my wife, Lacey,
- 24:32Speaker 2: I was golfing because she didn't know about the boat.
- 24:34Speaker 2: People hide purchases from their spouses. Women hide shoes in
- 24:38Speaker 2: the back of their closet. Men might hide a cheap
- 24:41Speaker 2: fishing boat. So when I came home, that's the lie
- 24:46Speaker 2: I told Lacey's mother because that was the lie Lacey
- 24:48Speaker 2: knew that I golfed. Then why did you lie about golfing?
- 24:51Speaker 2: You actually went on a boat. So I'm just saying,
- 24:54Speaker 2: I think If we get into it and we hear
- 24:57Speaker 2: a lot about each little lie, how he will explain
- 25:00Speaker 2: the lie. And then, yeah, maybe I would have taken
- 25:03Speaker 2: off to Mexico. You know, I didn't do it. I
- 25:05Speaker 2: knew I was a suspect. I was going to maybe
- 25:08Speaker 2: live in Mexico even if I wasn't arrested just to
- 25:10Speaker 2: get away from the media and everything and just have
- 25:13Speaker 2: a little normalcy. And my parents and my family knew
- 25:16Speaker 2: about that. I don't know. That's what I'm guessing he's
- 25:20Speaker 2: going to say is I was a really bad husband.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I wasn't honest when I should have been about those
- 25:24Speaker 2: things because I was trying to still keep my reputation
- 25:26Speaker 2: with my family and her family. But that's the truth.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I was a bad husband. I was a cheater. And
- 25:32Speaker 2: I didn't react the way people thought I should. But
- 25:35Speaker 2: I did not kill my wife. That's what I'm guessing.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Not saying I'm for it. That's what I'm saying.
- 25:42Speaker 5: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 25:44Speaker 5: know about the drawer. The drawer Just.
- 25:49Speaker 4: The one square before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching.
- 25:56Speaker 4: You deserve a treat.
- 26:01Speaker 5: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 26:03Speaker 5: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 26:12Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 26:17Speaker 6: people who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have
- 26:22Speaker 6: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 26:31Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 26:32Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 26:34Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 26:36Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 26:39Speaker 6: you had.
- 26:40Speaker 4: To succeed in order to feel loved? He said, I
- 26:42Speaker 4: have a work dad. I need a home dad. What
- 26:44Speaker 4: happens next? When I came in, he started crying. Everybody
- 26:47Speaker 4: in life encounters hardships.
- 26:49Speaker 6: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 26:52Speaker 6: go through.
- 26:53Speaker 4: It's about what happens next. I decided to risk it all.
- 26:56Speaker 4: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 26:58Speaker 6: You're worth the work.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 27:02Speaker 4: use your voice even if it shakes.
- 27:04Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Real Housewives of OC is real juicy. I talked a
- 27:23Speaker 2: lot about it on my Patreon. You go to heathermcdonald.net.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I did a Get Me Behind Gates as well as
- 27:28Speaker 2: my regular Friday show about it. Basically, the juicy scoop
- 27:32Speaker 2: is that Tamara is saying that Alexis Polino, who is
- 27:37Speaker 2: now dating Shannon Bedore's ex-boyfriend, John Jansen, she said that
- 27:43Speaker 2: John Jansen has video surveillance from inside and outside his home.
- 27:47Speaker 2: That will ruin Shannon Bedore's life and ruin her children's life.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I'm not going to say what it is. They're both saying,
- 27:54Speaker 2: Alexis and Tamara are saying, I'm not going to say
- 27:56Speaker 2: what it is. But if he chooses to show it, ho,
- 27:59Speaker 2: get ready, Shannon. Get ready. I'm like, what is in
- 28:03Speaker 2: this video? Did she go in the fridge and just
- 28:06Speaker 2: go off on a seven-layer bean dip? Did she slip
- 28:09Speaker 2: and fall? Is she yelling at him? Does she have
- 28:12Speaker 2: a voodoo doll of a life-size voodoo doll of Andy Cohen?
- 28:17Speaker 2: And she does some horrible thing to it. Does she
- 28:20Speaker 2: peg him? I don't know. What is it? What is it?
- 28:23Speaker 2: But I doubt we're ever going to see it. But
- 28:25Speaker 2: I feel this is a form of sort of blackmail,
- 28:28Speaker 2: a little bit of revenge porn without the actual porn.
- 28:31Speaker 2: It seems really awful and threatening her. And it's not
- 28:34Speaker 2: working on Tamara's side. The fans are much more for Shannon.
- 28:39Speaker 2: I think Tamara thought, I'm going to remove myself from
- 28:41Speaker 2: Shannon after the DUI. I don't want to be associated
- 28:43Speaker 2: with the fact that she got in an accident and
- 28:47Speaker 2: a DUI. But attacking her on camera and calling her
- 28:50Speaker 2: an alcoholic to her face when she's acting calm and
- 28:54Speaker 2: being like normal is just not working well for Tamara.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And I think she underestimated how the audience would react
- 29:01Speaker 2: because they're very pro-Shannon and not pro-Alexis or Tamara. It
- 29:05Speaker 2: seems very inauthentic. And I think Alexis is like almost
- 29:08Speaker 2: acting like Shannon being like, I'm sexy Lexi. Who wants
- 29:12Speaker 2: to have fun with this girl? And Tamra's like, she's
- 29:14Speaker 2: a shit show, which is what she always used to
- 29:16Speaker 2: call Shannon. Now she's joking with Alexis saying she's a
- 29:19Speaker 2: shit show. And the audience just isn't buying this authenticity.
- 29:22Speaker 2: They're not thinking it's real and they're not liking it.
- 29:25Speaker 2: And they're pro Shannon Bedore in this. All right. Now
- 29:31Speaker 2: let's get into the juiciness of– of Countess Luann. Such
- 29:37Speaker 2: a great interview and so fun. And we do a
- 29:39Speaker 2: fun show. segment called What Would Lu do? And we
- 29:42Speaker 2: get her life advice on some of these issues that
- 29:47Speaker 2: we're all facing today on reality TV and in our
- 29:49Speaker 2: real lives. Here we go. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I have our favorite cabaret star, singer, model, housewife, mother,
- 30:03Speaker 2: sexy mama, Countess Luann. Welcome back to Juicy Scoop.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Catfish catcher, don't forget.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Oh, that's right. You got the catfish.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Oh, captain of your own. I got the yacht and
- 30:13Speaker 4: I got the catfish.
- 30:14Speaker 2: You have your own boat. You are a captain.
- 30:17Speaker 4: That's true. Captain Lou.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yes, yes you are. And you're wearing the Captain Lou hat.
- 30:21Speaker 4: I love that thing. Well, this is my cabaret look,
- 30:23Speaker 4: but I love that boat. It's just, you know, it's
- 30:26Speaker 4: so much fun. You know, everybody loves it, and it's
- 30:32Speaker 4: my freedom. When I get on my boat, I'm free.
- 30:34Speaker 4: I can go out into the ocean. I feel like
- 30:37Speaker 4: I'm flying, and I love that thing, because it's a
- 30:39Speaker 4: Boston Whaler, actually.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I've been on it. Don't you remember?
- 30:42Speaker 4: You took me on it. I forgot this one.
- 30:43Speaker 2: It is really fun. It's fun, isn't it? And I
- 30:46Speaker 2: love that you know your way around it.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Yes, I do.
- 30:48Speaker 2: That's, like, very impressive. And it's fun to watch your
- 30:51Speaker 2: clips from the boat. And it is obvious that you
- 30:54Speaker 2: really do enjoy it. That is awesome.
- 30:56Speaker 4: No, I love that thing.
- 30:57Speaker 6: So.
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I did take you on the boat. I forgot
- 30:59Speaker 4: about that. I came to pick you up in my
- 31:01Speaker 4: Mercedes before that.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 31:03Speaker 4: At Jill's errands.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 4: I love it.
- 31:06Speaker 2: You have all these shows. You're coming to our part
- 31:10Speaker 2: of the woods. Then you have all these shows in
- 31:13Speaker 2: the fall.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:14Speaker 2: It's not stopping. Just tell us quickly so people can
- 31:17Speaker 2: plan their trips.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Well, listen, I have a lot of dates on the calendar.
- 31:22Speaker 4: You can go to CountessLuan.com to find where I'm going
- 31:25Speaker 4: to be close to you, but You know, the tour
- 31:27Speaker 4: is going great. I just got back from London. I
- 31:29Speaker 4: was in London. You know, Tilda Swinton came to my show,
- 31:32Speaker 4: which was amazing. Wow. Oh, she goes, darling, you do
- 31:36Speaker 4: spread so much joy. I wish you would come and
- 31:38Speaker 4: relax for a little bit and come to my humble
- 31:40Speaker 4: abode in Scotland because I'd love to cook for you
- 31:43Speaker 4: and take care of you, darling. And it is a
- 31:46Speaker 4: humble abode, but we'd love to have you. And so anyway,
- 31:48Speaker 4: so I'm like, you're like, oh, my God, I know
- 31:50Speaker 4: it's Tilda Swinton, right? So I've never been to Scotland.
- 31:53Speaker 4: So guess what? I take her up on it. And Darling,
- 31:56Speaker 4: the train departs at 5 p.m. We're going to have
- 31:58Speaker 4: crumpets and a little red wine.
- 31:59Speaker 2: So you went to her house.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I went to Scotland. And the Humble Abode is a
- 32:02Speaker 4: castle with 300 acres and a castle.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh, my God, how fun. It was amazing. How long
- 32:08Speaker 2: were you there?
- 32:09Speaker 4: Just for a night because I had to leave to
- 32:10Speaker 4: come back here.
- 32:11Speaker 2: So you stayed at her house?
- 32:12Speaker 4: I stayed at her castle.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Oh, my God, how fun.
- 32:15Speaker 4: It was fantastic. And then she had a friend staying
- 32:17Speaker 4: from Sydney who played the bagpipes. And then we had haggis,
- 32:21Speaker 4: which is their local dish that they love to eat. Um,
- 32:24Speaker 4: but it was, you know, it's a Scottish like delicacy anyway.
- 32:28Speaker 4: So it was awesome. And then I played at Dublin. Uh,
- 32:31Speaker 4: I had, you know, five dates in London, all the
- 32:34Speaker 4: shows sold out. I mean, it's incredible. Now I'm going
- 32:36Speaker 4: to be going to 2025 back for, um, a new
- 32:40Speaker 4: set of shows and then to, um, uh, Australia.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Which I'm excited about.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. Now, have you spent much time in Australia?
- 32:48Speaker 4: I've never been to Australia.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Oh, it's one of the few places I've been to twice.
- 32:53Speaker 2: When I was on Chelsea lately, we did like a
- 32:56Speaker 2: week there. Every other year or something, we went for
- 32:58Speaker 2: a week and did a show there with the affiliate station.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And Sydney is just like lovely. And people are gorgeous.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Really? Oh, I'm looking forward to it.
- 33:11Speaker 2: It's like the best looking people ever.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Is the affiliate HeyYou? Was it HeyYou?
- 33:17Speaker 2: Oh, back then it was just whatever the network was,
- 33:20Speaker 2: but it was through E. And then we just did,
- 33:22Speaker 2: we just, that was our whole like promo. We're doing
- 33:24Speaker 2: shows from Australia. So we did it like three or
- 33:26Speaker 2: four days of shows. And then we had like three
- 33:28Speaker 2: days to like go on a yacht and go. And
- 33:32Speaker 2: every night we went to restaurants and it was just like,
- 33:34Speaker 2: it's lovely. Yeah. You're going to love it.
- 33:36Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: You're going to love it.
- 33:39Speaker 4: But first, I have a lot of shows coming up
- 33:41Speaker 4: in the States.
- 33:42Speaker 6: Yes.
- 33:42Speaker 4: So this fall, very busy. And then I'm doing also
- 33:45Speaker 4: a holiday show. So I'm working on that right now
- 33:48Speaker 4: and new music for it. Oh, wait.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Speaking of the holiday show, I mean, when I think
- 33:53Speaker 2: about this one moment that someone reminded me of recently,
- 33:57Speaker 2: when you did the song, how does it go? The
- 34:01Speaker 2: All I Want?
- 34:01Speaker 6: No.
- 34:02Speaker 2: What do I want for Christmas? Just, how does it go?
- 34:05Speaker 4: What do I want for Christmas? Just you.
- 34:07Speaker 2: And you had your co-stars of The Other Housewives doing it.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And I remember Leah McSweeney then had a big issue
- 34:16Speaker 2: of like, I don't know that I, you know, Mariah
- 34:19Speaker 2: Carey here, I don't know if I should lend my voice.
- 34:21Speaker 2: And then, you know, for this song to live in
- 34:24Speaker 2: infamy and me not have some credit. How did that
- 34:28Speaker 2: ever turn out? Did you then just not use her?
- 34:30Speaker 2: What happened with that song?
- 34:32Speaker 4: What do you mean? It's on YouTube.
- 34:34Speaker 2: No, so it's fine. So she did it. Yeah, of
- 34:36Speaker 2: course she did it. It was fine.
- 34:37Speaker 4: It all worked out perfectly well. But, you know, she
- 34:40Speaker 4: had to, you know, play it up big that, you know,
- 34:44Speaker 4: if you make so much money off this, I mean,
- 34:45Speaker 4: God knows, you know, in the music business, it's very
- 34:48Speaker 4: hard with, you know, iTunes and these different platforms.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Right, how you can decipher. Exactly.
- 34:53Speaker 4: So I was like, okay, well, then you don't have
- 34:55Speaker 4: to be in it. So you can go whenever you want.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Do you know what I mean?
- 34:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 4: So, well, she changed her mind. And guess what? Now
- 35:01Speaker 4: she's in all my holiday shows, and she's totally not
- 35:05Speaker 4: around Bravo anymore, which we know.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk a little bit about the announcement of
- 35:09Speaker 2: your new show, which Peacock will be airing. It's you,
- 35:13Speaker 2: Shannon Bedore, Giselle, and Ashley from Potomac. And you guys
- 35:18Speaker 2: are now four single women.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Going to the Love Hotel.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Do you know what city you guys are, where you're
- 35:26Speaker 2: filming it?
- 35:26Speaker 4: I think we're going to Cabo.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Oh, that'll be nice.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 2: In September.
- 35:30Speaker 4: In September. Isn't it hurricane season? Let's hope not.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I've been there in September.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And it's just extremely hot.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I think the least desirable month, from what I recall,
- 35:43Speaker 2: is October.
- 35:44Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Because I've been there in November. I've been there in January.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Really?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's always been really nice. I just remember October.
- 35:50Speaker 2: So I think you'll be okay.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Okay, good.
- 35:52Speaker 2: And then you'll just be hot, which is fine. You
- 35:55Speaker 2: look good in a bikini.
- 35:56Speaker 4: We'll be naked.
- 35:57Speaker 2: You look good in a very good bikini. Linda bikini, yeah.
- 36:00Speaker 2: And so I know you probably can't tell us much,
- 36:02Speaker 2: but do you know the format or anything?
- 36:05Speaker 4: You know, not really. I mean, I think it's just,
- 36:07Speaker 4: you know, looking for love the second time around. In
- 36:11Speaker 4: my life, it's the third time around. You know, it's
- 36:14Speaker 4: even in my song, Mary F. Kill, you know, three
- 36:16Speaker 4: times the charm, so catch me if you can. So,
- 36:20Speaker 4: you know, it's all about finding love the second time,
- 36:22Speaker 4: third time around, how many times it is for the leads,
- 36:24Speaker 4: because I don't really know them very well, right? Right.
- 36:26Speaker 4: So we're going to this island. We're being set up,
- 36:29Speaker 4: you know, with guys. And I've given them my list,
- 36:33Speaker 4: and the list is long.
- 36:34Speaker 2: The list of what you want.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 36:36Speaker 2: And can you tell us what is on your list
- 36:38Speaker 2: of your ideal man?
- 36:40Speaker 4: Well, ideally, he is.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Kind.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Generous.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Tall.
- 36:49Speaker 2: In all ways.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Tall, handsome.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Generous.
- 36:51Speaker 4: In all ways. With his heart.
- 36:53Speaker 2: With his heart. With his pocketbook. With his tongue. Generous
- 36:56Speaker 2: in all ways.
- 36:57Speaker 4: You know, luckily I have my own career and make
- 37:00Speaker 4: my own money. Now, it would be nice to be
- 37:02Speaker 4: regaled in jewels because you know how much I love jewels.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:05Speaker 4: But, you know, it's not that important to me. For me,
- 37:09Speaker 4: it's the man who is You know, kind, generous, fun, smart, witty.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Has class. Good manners.
- 37:20Speaker 6: Age.
- 37:21Speaker 4: You know, I'd like a man, you know, around my age.
- 37:23Speaker 4: You know, who's got grown kids, we're in the same boat.
- 37:26Speaker 4: You know, who has time to travel, who has the
- 37:28Speaker 4: freedom to travel. Because for me, life is about freedom.
- 37:32Speaker 4: And so, you know, of course, tall, dark, and handsome.
- 37:36Speaker 2: How about tall, gray, and handsome?
- 37:39Speaker 4: Tall, gray, and handsome is good, too. Just no baldies
- 37:42Speaker 4: this time around, darling.
- 37:43Speaker 2: That didn't work out so well.
- 37:45Speaker 4: No baldies did not work out so well.
- 37:46Speaker 2: And tall.
- 37:47Speaker 4: And European.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Oh, you like a European. Or a Latin, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I like it. Okay, so you gave them their list.
- 37:54Speaker 2: They have a tall assignment. But regardless, I think it'll
- 37:57Speaker 2: be really fun. I think the combination of the four
- 38:00Speaker 2: of you guys is fun. And we're missing our Ultimate
- 38:03Speaker 2: Girls trip.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Well, it's coming next week on Bravo. It's airing August 11th.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Ultimate Girls trip that was on Peacock is now airing
- 38:10Speaker 4: on Bravo.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Oh, okay. But we're not, if we've watched it on Peacock,
- 38:14Speaker 2: there's not a new one that we're going to see. No.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Because they're holding the Moroccan hostage. Right. Because of all
- 38:21Speaker 2: the legal stuff between Brandy and Caroline. And those girls,
- 38:26Speaker 2: I've talked to Gretchen Rossi, they're bummed.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I can imagine.
- 38:29Speaker 2: And the fans are bummed.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 38:31Speaker 2: But then I'm like, okay, that's fine if that has
- 38:34Speaker 2: to be put on hold. but why are they not
- 38:38Speaker 2: doing another one? There should have been two in the
- 38:40Speaker 2: can by now. Right. Well, that kind of bums me
- 38:43Speaker 2: out because I thought, I loved that the most.
- 38:45Speaker 4: I think they got, I think they had a little
- 38:46Speaker 4: burned from this situation.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Right. So they're not so quick to go back, you know,
- 38:51Speaker 4: that fast.
- 38:51Speaker 2: But I wonder if, I wonder if in doing this
- 38:55Speaker 2: show with you guys, if that, if this turns out
- 38:58Speaker 2: to be a success, this dating thing, that there might
- 39:02Speaker 2: be more stuff in like, let's take, housewives and put
- 39:06Speaker 2: them in different kinds of shows, not necessarily.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Well, absolutely.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Look at Crappie Lake. Yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 4: They took Sonya Knight to do Crappie Lake.
- 39:14Speaker 2: But Crappie Lake's not coming back.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Well, you know, no, you know, we don't know for sure.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Oh, we don't know.
- 39:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 39:18Speaker 4: We don't know for sure.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Okay. So I, you know, everyone loves when you come
- 39:23Speaker 2: on the show and you give such great advice and you've,
- 39:27Speaker 2: you know, written a book and everything about etiquette. So
- 39:31Speaker 2: I have lots of questions. Oh, wait, before I get
- 39:34Speaker 2: into that, you ran into your old friend, Bethany, and
- 39:40Speaker 2: her daughter. And it looked like you guys had a
- 39:43Speaker 2: nice exchange.
- 39:44Speaker 4: It was a very nice moment. She said to me, well,
- 39:47Speaker 4: I guess life is a cabaret. That's right. And I said, yes,
- 39:51Speaker 4: it is.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And which is good.
- 39:53Speaker 4: And she said, Brenda's a fan. She would like to
- 39:55Speaker 4: have a picture with you. And I said, great, of course. And,
- 39:57Speaker 4: you know, she was like kind of, you know, water
- 39:59Speaker 4: under the bridge kind of moment. And it was just cool.
- 40:03Speaker 4: And so that was all good. And then, you know,
- 40:05Speaker 4: then I asked her to send me the pictures and
- 40:07Speaker 4: I never got them because she posted them first.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 4: And then she has me blocked on social media. I'm like, what?
- 40:13Speaker 2: Did you then say it's time to unblock me now?
- 40:15Speaker 4: Right. Yeah, basically. And she said, well, you are unblocked,
- 40:18Speaker 4: but it wasn't. I wasn't unblocked, but anyway, I don't
- 40:21Speaker 4: know what happened. I'm not good at all the social
- 40:23Speaker 4: media stuff myself, but my assistant said, you're still blocked. Anyway,
- 40:27Speaker 4: and then she does a TikTok, which I love the
- 40:30Speaker 4: next day saying, you know how Brynn was the bridge
- 40:32Speaker 4: that kind of got us back together. And she said,
- 40:36Speaker 4: just like I did with my mom. And I was like,
- 40:38Speaker 4: I feel a little bit used right here. You know
- 40:40Speaker 4: what I'm saying? And then, because she has me blocked,
- 40:42Speaker 4: first of all, she doesn't share the pictures. And then,
- 40:44Speaker 4: you know, I felt like, but you know what? It's
- 40:47Speaker 4: all good. You know, I said to her, It's all good.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Love and peace. And that's basically what she said to me,
- 40:53Speaker 4: you know? So we did actually get over this hump
- 40:56Speaker 4: that we had. Cause I haven't seen her in years.
- 40:58Speaker 4: I mean, I haven't seen her in years.
- 41:00Speaker 2: So, so you were just at like a Hamptons house
- 41:04Speaker 2: party thing or.
- 41:05Speaker 4: What were you at? We were at a, we were
- 41:07Speaker 4: at a party that was with Candace Bushnell and Nicole Miller,
- 41:11Speaker 4: one of my buddies. And, and she was there and
- 41:15Speaker 4: that's how it happened, you know, very casually. And, But
- 41:18Speaker 4: I just was bothered by the fact that I felt
- 41:20Speaker 4: like a little like she's this is a moment to say,
- 41:23Speaker 4: you know, you know, we're friends again, et cetera. And then,
- 41:27Speaker 4: you know, in the meantime, she still has me blocked.
- 41:29Speaker 4: So I don't know. And then she blocked me on TikTok.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Now she's got me blocked on TikTok. But whatever.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that is. Yeah, I get it. But I, you know,
- 41:40Speaker 2: I love seeing old clips and memes that pop up.
- 41:44Speaker 4: Well, listen, there's no doubt that Bethany's one of the
- 41:46Speaker 4: funniest people I know.
- 41:46Speaker 2: She's quick.
- 41:48Speaker 4: We had some epic fights. I mean, I've had, really,
- 41:50Speaker 4: it's been a great ride with her because, you know,
- 41:55Speaker 4: we go toe-to-toe. I mean, it's like a real-life feud,
- 41:58Speaker 4: the way we were living our lives on TV. You
- 42:00Speaker 4: know what I mean?
- 42:01Speaker 2: There was the one that I'm thinking about is, I
- 42:04Speaker 2: think you're at Dorinda's, maybe one of the first times
- 42:06Speaker 2: you're at Dorinda's, and I don't know what she's saying
- 42:10Speaker 2: to you, but look over and you're like, What's going
- 42:12Speaker 2: on with you? Are you getting laid or what? Are
- 42:14Speaker 2: you getting laid right now?
- 42:15Speaker 4: Well, she walks in with the same haircut. Remember? And
- 42:19Speaker 4: I was like, oh, somebody got the haircut. It kind
- 42:20Speaker 4: of looks like mine, doesn't it? Oh, that started her engines.
- 42:23Speaker 4: I know how to start her engines. Yeah. So then
- 42:27Speaker 4: she comes after me, you know, you fuck this guy,
- 42:29Speaker 4: you fuck that guy. I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 42:31Speaker 4: It's not even true. It's like making shit up. And
- 42:35Speaker 4: that's when I went in. And she's looking at me
- 42:37Speaker 4: with her face like so angry, and I was like,
- 42:39Speaker 4: you need to get laid. I mean, what's going on?
- 42:42Speaker 4: And then she says, this guy and that guy, whatever
- 42:45Speaker 4: she was saying, which wasn't true. And I go, am
- 42:48Speaker 4: I the Kim Cattrall of the family or what? So
- 42:51Speaker 4: with her, you have to have a lot of humor.
- 42:53Speaker 2: And speaking of Kim Cattrall, so Candice Bushnell, for people
- 42:56Speaker 2: to remind them, she is the one who wrote the
- 42:58Speaker 2: original book, Sex and the City, which then the show
- 43:01Speaker 2: was based off of. Exactly. And so she was essentially
- 43:06Speaker 2: the Carrie... of the show and wrote about herself and
- 43:09Speaker 2: her friends and all that. And, you know, I was
- 43:13Speaker 2: on the plane recently and I went and I watched
- 43:17Speaker 2: the first season, which I don't even know if I'd
- 43:19Speaker 2: seen the whole first season.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Me too. I did the same thing. Oh my God.
- 43:23Speaker 2: It was so good. Like, and it was different. Like,
- 43:25Speaker 2: were they talking to camera and all this kind of stuff?
- 43:29Speaker 2: And I remember when I interviewed Dorinda the first time,
- 43:33Speaker 2: people said, were writing me. I said, Oh, I have Dorinda.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I'm going to interview. And they said, Ask her about
- 43:38Speaker 2: the episode that we believe that it was emulated after
- 43:43Speaker 2: her in Sex and the City, which there was a
- 43:47Speaker 2: scene where Carrie, Candace, whatever, says, I have a friend. And,
- 43:52Speaker 2: you know, she was living in London. She was selling pashminas.
- 43:57Speaker 2: And she had this husband that in the scene, Carrie
- 44:01Speaker 2: witnessed the husband being really mean. And then she was like,
- 44:05Speaker 2: I'm going to leave him. I'm going to leave him.
- 44:06Speaker 2: And then in the end, she didn't. And it was
- 44:09Speaker 2: sort of like a weird lesson. I thought it was
- 44:11Speaker 2: great because it's like when your girlfriend sees something bad
- 44:17Speaker 2: or you share too much with your girlfriend about your
- 44:19Speaker 2: asshole husband, but then you end up staying with the
- 44:22Speaker 2: asshole husband. Then it's like, where did that leave the
- 44:25Speaker 2: character of Carrie? And the girl playing the role was
- 44:29Speaker 2: a New Yorker, but she was brunette. And so anyway,
- 44:33Speaker 2: I remember I asked Dorinda about that, and she was like,
- 44:35Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. Yes, I had
- 44:37Speaker 2: pashminas and da-da-da-da, and I sold pashminas, but everybody thought
- 44:40Speaker 2: I was Princess Diana. I'm like, no, this was... I
- 44:43Speaker 2: always wondered. I always wondered if I saw Candace Bushnell.
- 44:47Speaker 2: That's what I would ask. Did she know Dorinda? Do
- 44:50Speaker 2: you know if she knew Dorinda back in the day?
- 44:52Speaker 4: Oh, that I don't know. I don't think so.
- 44:54Speaker 2: How did you meet her?
- 44:56Speaker 4: Candace socially, I think through probably, I want to say...
- 45:02Speaker 4: Anne Hurst, maybe Nicole Miller.
- 45:07Speaker 2: You've known Candace for quite a while.
- 45:08Speaker 4: I've known Candace for quite a while, and socially, through
- 45:10Speaker 4: my socialite friends, basically, from the mountains. You know, like
- 45:13Speaker 4: Anne Hurst and, you know, Nicole Miller.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And did she ever, like, I read there was, like,
- 45:19Speaker 2: a Mr. Big. Did she ever marry him, or is
- 45:22Speaker 2: she still living just her fabulous life? She looks so young.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Doesn't she look great?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Yeah, she's so cute. And she's adorable. Blonde hair, beautiful. Yeah,
- 45:30Speaker 2: she's gorgeous.
- 45:32Speaker 4: She never married. But there is a real Mr. Big.
- 45:36Speaker 4: And apparently he was the editor of Vogue or something
- 45:41Speaker 4: like that.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Do you ever, do you watch the new version and
- 45:44Speaker 2: just like that at all?
- 45:46Speaker 4: I have seen it.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Sure.
- 45:47Speaker 4: I have seen it.
- 45:48Speaker 2: It's very different, but I can't stop watching it. I'll
- 45:50Speaker 2: never stop watching it. It's so good. I love it.
- 45:53Speaker 4: It's so good. Again, that stems all from Candice Bushnell.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Yeah, amazing. Okay, so I have some things that I
- 46:01Speaker 2: came up with. What would Lou do? I know you
- 46:04Speaker 2: do a similar thing in your show.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Well, I do exactly that. What would Lou do?
- 46:08Speaker 2: Oh, that's what it is?
- 46:08Speaker 4: Okay, good.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I didn't think I created such an iconic thing. I
- 46:12Speaker 2: figured I heard it somewhere. But I have my own
- 46:15Speaker 2: kind of scenarios for you that I created. Okay, here's
- 46:22Speaker 2: a good one. And some of these are based on
- 46:25Speaker 2: things that are actually kind of have happened in other
- 46:29Speaker 2: franchises of housewives, real lives, and some are just actual
- 46:33Speaker 2: real life things. Your girlfriend's ex-boyfriend that you never liked
- 46:40Speaker 2: because she would call you late at night and tell
- 46:44Speaker 2: you all the awful things that he said and did.
- 46:46Speaker 2: You've shared with your other friends, I don't like him
- 46:48Speaker 2: for her. They break up. Now, someone else in your
- 46:53Speaker 2: friend group starts to date that same guy and she
- 46:57Speaker 2: brings him around And he's quite delightful. You actually enjoy him.
- 47:02Speaker 2: They seem really into each other and you're like, maybe
- 47:06Speaker 2: you bring him out with your boyfriend and the four
- 47:08Speaker 2: of you have a great time. But she's like, I
- 47:11Speaker 2: can't believe you're socializing with my ex-boyfriend and this girl
- 47:15Speaker 2: when you know all these awful things that I told
- 47:17Speaker 2: you about him. So have you ever been in that
- 47:20Speaker 2: situation and what would you do?
- 47:24Speaker 4: God, no. I mean, I can't imagine being with a
- 47:27Speaker 4: man that would It didn't work out, and then he
- 47:31Speaker 4: starts dating one of my friends. I can't imagine that.
- 47:37Speaker 2: But you're the friend. I'm saying it was your friend's
- 47:42Speaker 2: ex-boyfriend that's now dating another girl in your circle, and
- 47:46Speaker 2: you're socializing with them.
- 47:47Speaker 4: Are you talking about the housewives of OC?
- 47:49Speaker 7: Yes, I am.
- 47:50Speaker 2: How do you know you knew the story? Shanna Bedore.
- 47:52Speaker 4: I know.
- 47:53Speaker 2: So Shanna Bedore dated John Jansen. Yes. And he didn't
- 47:57Speaker 2: come off great to the audience or anybody because she
- 48:02Speaker 2: shared stuff.
- 48:02Speaker 4: That he was not nice to her.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Yes. And then, but what we saw of him at
- 48:06Speaker 2: parties and stuff, very little.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:10Speaker 2: One time she was upset and it seemed like he
- 48:12Speaker 2: was defending her and therefore disparaging one of the other
- 48:15Speaker 2: women because she thought the woman was mean to her.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Now he's with Alexis Bellino. And they're very happy and
- 48:23Speaker 2: she's like, you're going to love him. And I think
- 48:26Speaker 2: Shannon feels quite betrayed that anybody would engage in hanging
- 48:30Speaker 2: out with him. But then if he... Were they sold...
- 48:36Speaker 2: The wrong impression or, like, how do you navigate? Because
- 48:39Speaker 2: you have to be in this circle.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Now you have to navigate.
- 48:41Speaker 2: You have to be in this circle. Mm-hmm. Do you
- 48:44Speaker 2: just– are you just polite and, like, keep your distance.
- 48:47Speaker 4: Or– You know, for me, what are you going to do?
- 48:51Speaker 4: I mean, otherwise you look crazy. So be polite, keep
- 48:55Speaker 4: your distance, but never forget.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Right. Right?
- 48:58Speaker 4: I mean, who would do that?
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Who would do that? I mean, it's just so– for
- 49:03Speaker 4: me– Very, very disturbing, let's say that. And if I
- 49:11Speaker 4: was interested in the guy, do you think I'd bring
- 49:13Speaker 4: him on the TV show? I'd hide him in my closet.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Chain him to the bed or something. You can't leave.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Whatever his name is, you know.
- 49:22Speaker 2: John Jansen. But I think that there is no way
- 49:27Speaker 2: not being on the show again because she wants to
- 49:29Speaker 2: be on the show. But I also feel like the
- 49:31Speaker 2: reason he's coming on the show is to sort of–
- 49:35Speaker 2: changed the perception that was given about him previously. So
- 49:40Speaker 2: I sort of can't blame him for that. I understand
- 49:42Speaker 2: that part, okay.
- 49:43Speaker 4: As you go deeper into it, you see it's a
- 49:45Speaker 4: bigger story than that.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 49:46Speaker 4: He's trying to change the reputation he's been given.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 49:53Speaker 4: And show that he is kind of a good guy,
- 49:55Speaker 4: but it's a big chance to take, isn't it?
- 49:58Speaker 2: Being a housewife, and you were married when we met you,
- 50:01Speaker 2: you guys got divorced, then what The next very significant
- 50:06Speaker 2: relationship was, I forgot his name.
- 50:08Speaker 6: Jacques.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Jacques. And, you know, he was featured for a couple seasons.
- 50:13Speaker 2: How long were you guys together?
- 50:15Speaker 4: Four years.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Four years.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Jacques was great. You know, some guys are better on
- 50:19Speaker 4: TV than others, right?
- 50:21Speaker 2: And did he ever have any, how did you say
- 50:24Speaker 2: when you met him? When you met him, did he
- 50:26Speaker 2: know you were Luann from Real Housewives? No.
- 50:29Speaker 4: I told him that I was doing a show together.
- 50:32Speaker 4: It was, oh my God, how did I say it?
- 50:34Speaker 4: He still laughs about it. A docu, a docu-series. That's
- 50:38Speaker 4: what I called it. So I'm doing a docu-series.
- 50:40Speaker 2: He goes, oh, okay.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Then he found out it was a house. But Jacques,
- 50:43Speaker 4: you see, is comfortable in his own skin. Right? Comfortable
- 50:47Speaker 4: in who he is. He's fun. He's handsome. Right? And
- 50:51Speaker 4: he's like, whatever makes you happy. If you want me
- 50:53Speaker 4: to come with you, I, you know, so he was
- 50:55Speaker 4: super easy. Uh-huh. You know, I didn't have that same
- 50:57Speaker 4: luck with some people on the show.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Right?
- 50:59Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Um.
- 51:01Speaker 4: But Jacques was great. And, you know, even Alex was
- 51:04Speaker 4: on the show in the very beginning when I started Housewives,
- 51:05Speaker 4: you know, the count.
- 51:07Speaker 2: I also wonder, though, when Jacques was on, social media
- 51:10Speaker 2: was not what it was today.
- 51:11Speaker 4: No, exactly.
- 51:11Speaker 2: And I think he could go on and have fun.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Now if you bring a guy on, these people are
- 51:17Speaker 2: going to know exactly who he is, who the ex-wife is,
- 51:19Speaker 2: what he did, what he did in 1992. That's right.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Who he brought to prom, you know, and go after
- 51:25Speaker 2: everything about it.
- 51:26Speaker 4: All the skeletons come out, you know. I always wonder
- 51:29Speaker 4: about people that do shows like this. Like if you
- 51:32Speaker 4: have this kind of history and skills, why would you
- 51:35Speaker 4: want to put yourself out there? And you know, I.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Think that's why they have trouble finding, you know, kind
- 51:40Speaker 2: of the fabulous people that they found like you guys
- 51:42Speaker 2: back then that really were kind of these society ladies with,
- 51:46Speaker 2: you know, money and everything. I think it's hard to
- 51:48Speaker 2: find and real friends. Yeah. And with Jacques, I remember
- 51:53Speaker 2: that there was a time that you were like in
- 51:56Speaker 2: the show. I, um, I'm going to try to get pregnant.
- 52:00Speaker 2: You were like in your mid-40s.
- 52:03Speaker 4: Early 40s.
- 52:03Speaker 2: And so you're like, I'm going to try. So were you?
- 52:05Speaker 4: Oh, believe me, we tried a lot.
- 52:08Speaker 2: So you were excited to have another baby such a
- 52:13Speaker 2: big difference from your older two kids?
- 52:16Speaker 4: Yeah, well, you know, the kids probably at that time
- 52:17Speaker 4: were 8 and 10. I mean, that's so unusual that
- 52:20Speaker 4: I didn't want to get pregnant.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Oh, I thought they were older than that at that time.
- 52:23Speaker 4: Well, I got divorced in 96.
- 52:26Speaker 3: Oh.
- 52:26Speaker 4: I mean, what am I saying, 96? 96. 2006. No, 2009.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Oh, okay. 2009.
- 52:32Speaker 4: So, yeah. That's how many years ago already? 2009.
- 52:35Speaker 2: That would have been 15.
- 52:37Speaker 4: 15 years ago. Yeah. Exactly. So, the kids are 27
- 52:39Speaker 4: and 29. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So, they were like 10 and 12. Yeah. So,
- 52:45Speaker 4: it wouldn't be... It's not that unusual.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 52:48Speaker 4: But it just never happened. It wasn't meant to be.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 52:51Speaker 4: It's interesting how life takes care of itself.
- 52:54Speaker 3: And.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Because I'd still have.
- 52:56Speaker 2: And you'd be like going to a PTA meeting right
- 53:00Speaker 2: now and.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Like, yeah, not hanging out in Scotland. Not doing cabaret
- 53:04Speaker 4: shows with Tilda Swinton.
- 53:06Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 53:07Speaker 2: And so, yeah, so I always think, yeah, that's kind
- 53:11Speaker 2: of interesting. And like I had lunch with Ramona and
- 53:15Speaker 2: now she's in this, you know, serious relationship. And she said,
- 53:19Speaker 2: you know, she was, I like to do my Ramona,
- 53:22Speaker 2: so I want to do my Ramona for her. She said,
- 53:24Speaker 2: you know what?
- 53:25Speaker 7: You know what?
- 53:26Speaker 2: At first I was really upset that they got rid
- 53:28Speaker 2: of all of us for these girls that a lot
- 53:30Speaker 2: of people don't think are that interesting. But then I
- 53:32Speaker 2: was like, you know what? Thank God. Because now I
- 53:34Speaker 2: have this great guy. We're either in Palm Beach or
- 53:39Speaker 2: the Hamptons. We have beautiful homes. We have beautiful friends.
- 53:42Speaker 2: We're always going off. And I'm like, and I really did.
- 53:45Speaker 2: I'm like so happy for her that it worked out
- 53:48Speaker 2: that way.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Me too.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Because she said, I couldn't really date anyone good every time.
- 53:56Speaker 2: I'd be set up or they'd be interested and then
- 53:58Speaker 2: they'd Google me. They'd be like. And so actually on
- 54:01Speaker 2: the first date with this guy, he picked a different
- 54:04Speaker 2: place that was like kind of happening, lovely. And then
- 54:07Speaker 2: she said, oh, I didn't want to go there because
- 54:10Speaker 2: I was afraid someone would see me and they'd approach me.
- 54:13Speaker 2: And then he'd be like, wait, what the fuck is this, right?
- 54:15Speaker 2: So then she said, she goes, I said to him,
- 54:18Speaker 2: I said. you know what, I think it's a really
- 54:20Speaker 2: great suggestion. But I'd like to talk to you more,
- 54:24Speaker 2: so I'm going to pick this little quieter place. And then,
- 54:27Speaker 2: you know, and now they're off and running, and I
- 54:29Speaker 2: think it's great. Did you see her post, though, recently,
- 54:32Speaker 2: what she said about New Jersey?
- 54:33Speaker 4: Oh, God. It's so Ramona. It's so Ramona.
- 54:38Speaker 2: And it's like, she just doesn't change.
- 54:39Speaker 4: I know.
- 54:40Speaker 2: No one should expect her to change.
- 54:42Speaker 4: Exactly. It is what it is.
- 54:43Speaker 2: It is what it is. So for people that don't know,
- 54:45Speaker 2: she did a post, and she looks cute. And she's like,
- 54:48Speaker 2: I'm just going to do it in her voice.
- 54:50Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 54:52Speaker 2: You know what? You're going to be so surprised I
- 54:54Speaker 2: really stepped out of my box. Am I in Saint-Tropez? No.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Am I in Mykonos? No. Am I in the Hamptons?
- 55:02Speaker 6: No.
- 55:03Speaker 2: I'm actually in New Jersey and it's actually really nice.
- 55:07Speaker 2: All the New Jersey people are like, Melissa Gorgas, thanks
- 55:10Speaker 2: a lot. I love that everyone has a sense of
- 55:12Speaker 2: humor about it though. No one's going to get mad
- 55:14Speaker 2: at her because it's her.
- 55:16Speaker 4: I know. It's just so her and Jersey, there's some
- 55:19Speaker 4: great parts of Jersey.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Of course.
- 55:21Speaker 4: There's all over the place. Listen, I grew up in Connecticut.
- 55:24Speaker 4: There's crappy parts of Connecticut, that's for sure. I remember
- 55:26Speaker 4: going to Bridgeport. I mean, I love Connecticut, but it
- 55:29Speaker 4: ain't Greenwich.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Yes, it's just so funny.
- 55:33Speaker 4: It's just so funny because, you know, I think that
- 55:39Speaker 4: she doesn't really put a lot of pre-planning into what
- 55:43Speaker 4: comes out of her mouth.
- 55:43Speaker 6: You see.
- 55:44Speaker 3: No.
- 55:45Speaker 4: Obviously.
- 55:46Speaker 2: No. Obviously. She puts her foot in it all the time.
- 55:48Speaker 2: But you guys are good.
- 55:50Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes. I just had Ramona over at the house.
- 55:52Speaker 4: I had a party at my house.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I saw a photo of that, and
- 55:55Speaker 2: you guys looked really cute. Okay, so here's another one. Now,
- 55:59Speaker 2: this is a personal friend of mine, okay? So she is,
- 56:04Speaker 2: I think she's about 39, okay? And she's been dating.
- 56:07Speaker 2: She's never married, no kids. And she's been dating this guy.
- 56:12Speaker 2: He's a professional photographer. Divorced.
- 56:15Speaker 4: Wait, married, no kids.
- 56:17Speaker 2: She's never been married, no kids.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Oh, never been married, no kids.
- 56:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 56:19Speaker 2: She's dating a guy who's, I think he's probably like
- 56:24Speaker 2: maybe 10 years older than she. Okay.
- 56:26Speaker 4: And divorced. How old is she?
- 56:29Speaker 2: Like 39.
- 56:30Speaker 4: 39.
- 56:30Speaker 2: He's divorced. Daughter's probably like, you know, maybe 16, one kid.
- 56:35Speaker 2: So she's going to be off soon.
- 56:36Speaker 6: Okay.
- 56:38Speaker 2: They met a little before COVID. Then, you know, kind
- 56:43Speaker 2: of fell in love during COVID. Then it was back
- 56:44Speaker 2: and forth and all this. And this whole time that
- 56:47Speaker 2: I've known her, broke up, he'd always come around. I'd
- 56:51Speaker 2: go and there'd be flowers at her house and sniffing around,
- 56:54Speaker 2: sniffing around. In the meantime, she tried to date what,
- 57:00Speaker 2: she thought could be her type. So like a very,
- 57:05Speaker 2: you know, kind of boring, but really like good hearted,
- 57:08Speaker 2: spiritual Christian guy. And that wasn't it. Then this guy,
- 57:11Speaker 2: that's just the nicest one in the world, not sexually attracted.
- 57:15Speaker 2: And she would tell me and I'd be like, you're
- 57:17Speaker 2: not into him. You're not into him. So now the
- 57:18Speaker 2: guys come back and I come back from the trip
- 57:22Speaker 2: and I'm like, what's, what's been going on? And she's like,
- 57:24Speaker 2: I'm like, so you, you're with him. And she's like, yeah.
- 57:27Speaker 2: And I, I am like, I say, go for it.
- 57:30Speaker 2: I say, you know, I think he's now realizing you
- 57:34Speaker 2: are the one. And so now here it is. He
- 57:37Speaker 2: wants her to move in. Okay. But she's not going
- 57:41Speaker 2: to give up her place, which I think is good
- 57:42Speaker 2: because she owns her place. I said, don't give up
- 57:45Speaker 2: the place. And then, but does I, how does she say,
- 57:51Speaker 2: or do you think she should say, I would like
- 57:54Speaker 2: more of a commitment, like a ring? like without maybe
- 57:58Speaker 2: saying I want a ring maybe I need a symbol
- 58:01Speaker 2: that this is that this is going forward and you
- 58:03Speaker 2: see us spending the rest of our lives together I
- 58:05Speaker 2: don't know in the meantime they are you know having
- 58:10Speaker 2: sex without protection and we'll see what happens because she's
- 58:13Speaker 2: you know would like to have at least one child
- 58:16Speaker 2: right what do you say to someone like that though
- 58:18Speaker 2: to kind of get what you want without being saying
- 58:21Speaker 2: it without being the ultimate of them looking weird and manipulative.
- 58:25Speaker 4: Well you know I think he doesn't live with.
- 58:28Speaker 2: Her, right?
- 58:28Speaker 4: Or she doesn't live with him.
- 58:30Speaker 2: No, but she did say, I don't like this house.
- 58:32Speaker 2: It doesn't have a yard for my dog. And then
- 58:34Speaker 2: he did go.
- 58:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 58:35Speaker 2: And then he found another house.
- 58:37Speaker 4: You're kidding.
- 58:38Speaker 2: And she does like the house.
- 58:40Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 58:40Speaker 2: So I thought that was a pretty big thing.
- 58:42Speaker 4: That's a big, bold move, right?
- 58:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:44Speaker 4: To another house.
- 58:45Speaker 6: Okay.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Yeah. And so she does like the house and the
- 58:47Speaker 2: house is appropriate and great for like her dog and
- 58:51Speaker 2: having a yard and it's in the right area.
- 58:53Speaker 4: I think at this point in life, you have to
- 58:54Speaker 4: be honest with people.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 4: Yeah. You know I want children. You know that I
- 58:58Speaker 4: adore you. Where are we going with this? I think
- 59:01Speaker 4: you just have to be honest. Like, this is what
- 59:07Speaker 4: I want.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:08Speaker 4: You know, is this what you want? Do you want
- 59:10Speaker 4: the same thing? You know, he's never been married. Oh no,
- 59:13Speaker 4: he's been married.
- 59:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:14Speaker 4: So it's important for me because I want to have
- 59:17Speaker 4: a family and I don't want to waste my time.
- 59:19Speaker 4: I would go straight in.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:20Speaker 4: I would go straight in and go, You know, look,
- 59:24Speaker 4: I mean, I think you're great. You know, I love you.
- 59:26Speaker 4: I don't know what her status is. She really loves
- 59:28Speaker 4: the guy or she's just.
- 59:29Speaker 2: No, I think.
- 59:30Speaker 4: It's an opportunity for her to have a baby and
- 59:32Speaker 4: find a man. So it's two different things.
- 59:33Speaker 2: I think she has loved him all these years. But
- 59:37Speaker 2: with the going back and forth.
- 59:38Speaker 4: How long is this courting back?
- 59:39Speaker 2: It's been going on for like four years. So I
- 59:42Speaker 2: think that going back and forth.
- 59:43Speaker 6: Right.
- 59:45Speaker 2: You know, and then just being that woman.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Well, she doesn't feel safe.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:49Speaker 4: She doesn't feel sad because she feels safe.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:51Speaker 4: So she has to feel safe.
- 59:53Speaker 2: But nobody else that she's dated she's liked.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Right. So he has to make her feel safe.
- 59:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 4: So this is what I need, right? This is what
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: I need from you. I mean, I'm not saying put
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: a ring on it. I'm saying, you know, I love
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: you or whatever it is that she loves. She loves
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: the guy or not. And, you know, I'd like to
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: have children. And if you're not into this, what I'm
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: imagining for myself, I need to know.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: So I can move on, you know?
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: It's very simple, really. Right?
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I think she should, and I think she should go
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: for it.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: I think she should go for it.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Listen. I think if someone's coming around that many years,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I don't think it's a bad thing that it didn't
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: work off the bat. I don't think it's bad that
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: someone comes back around.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: It happens all the time.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: It happens all the time.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: You know, old friends that were never lovers, they become lovers,
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: you know?
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: They're partners, you know?
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: And it's about trust. Like, I need to trust that
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: this is, you know, this is where we're heading.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: If we're not heading there, I need to know so
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: I can head elsewhere.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: And that will prompt him to respond in the way
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: that she wants.
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Which is, well, yeah.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: What do you want? Yeah.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Yeah. This is what I want.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Yeah. That's my answer. I like it. Now, this has
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: probably happened to you. What do you do when you
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: think you found a little fun boy toy?
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Who wants, he's the one who wants more. And you
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: don't know if he can graduate to being a man friend,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: a real boyfriend. How has that happened? I'm sure it's
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: happened to you where you find some young hot guy
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: and it's a fun kind of casual thing and then
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: he wants to make it more.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: It hasn't happened to me.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: I usually get bored.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: So you're the one that dumps it before?
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Yeah, probably. If I think he's not the man that
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: I want. Do you know what I mean?
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Oh, okay. That I think he could be the man. Okay,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: then how do you blow someone off? How do you
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: break it off with someone? Do you ghost them? Do
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: you have an official conversation? Do you just say, I'm busy,
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I'm busy, and then they get the hint?
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: You know, it happened to me with a guy, and
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: he was just not right for me. I mean, super attractive,
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: good looking, whatever, but I know he's a player. So,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: you know, I don't want a player. I really don't
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: want somebody who's solid, who I know is going to be.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: You got my back and who I can count on,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: who I can trust, who's loyal. So, you know, then
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: I said, you know what? This is not working for
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: me kind of thing, basically, is what I said and
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: and moved on. Yeah, I'm all about right now where
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: I'm at in my life is all the honesty living
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: with my heart. When you do with your heart, you
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: can never go wrong. The minute you start thinking. So
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: and I talk about this in the show, you know,
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: In our guts, we have neurons. There's more neurons in
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: our gut than in our head. Right? So it's called
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: gut instinct for a reason.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Oh, I never even thought of that.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: Well, yeah.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Your gut tells you what to do. And guess what happens?
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: We go up to here, to the line and go, well,
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: you know this and you know that.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Oh, you're right.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: And maybe he's going to do this and maybe he's
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: going to marry me. You know, your gut knows. And
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: I know that because it's happened to me. I've had the,
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: you know, Runaway bride moments for sure.
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: For sure. And so now I do everything with my heart.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: I don't do anything I don't want to do, and
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: I do the things that I love to do.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Well, speaking of the gut, obviously one of the biggest
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: moments in your life that was captured on film was
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: when you were on the trip.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: And– Bethany reveals that she has gotten a photo of
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: your then-fiancé canoodling, it appears, at a bar back in
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: New York while you guys are on your trip. And,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: you know, please don't say it's about Tom. And what,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: you know, what were you feeling at that moment? And
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: in retrospect, what would you have done differently?
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Well, I mean, in retrospect, I would not have married him,
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: But love is blind.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: And so what did you tell yourself about that? That
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: it wasn't a big deal?
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: You know that story. You know who took the picture, right?
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because I had Caroline Radswell. I know. You're
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the one.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: Yeah, she came out and said it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: And she said it was Michael Cohen.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Remind your audience.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Michael Cohen, the attorney, was friends with Bethany's boyfriend. Girlfriend. No,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: I thought. No, but he was also friends with her
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: boyfriend who passed.
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: Yeah, poor guy.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: He told... Carol that many years later that he got
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: a message from that guy what was his name the
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: guy that passed him sorry I don't know Dennis he
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: got a message from Dennis saying hey can you go
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: downstairs because he lived above or lived right next door
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: to the regency and take a photo but how but
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: the question I had was so then who initially heard
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: that that was going like Was it set up?
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: Of course.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Everybody knew except for me. So Bethany knew.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: The crew, production knew. The housewives knew. I was the
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: last to find out.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: So what... Okay, so now walk me through what really happened.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: Well, I mean, we were celebrating on the yacht. Remember,
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: we had the yacht. I'm so happy and et cetera.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: And then we go to Miami because Bethany's in Miami
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: and we're all going to Miami, et cetera.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: And....
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: To celebrate my engagement, basically. And that's when, you know,
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: they kind of know what's happening, and I don't, that
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: they have this picture.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: But how?
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: She tells the others, but nobody tells me. And then
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: she just, you know, whips out her skinny girl margarita mix. Shaking. Shaking.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Drinking it. Crocodile tears coming down. I hate to do it. Well, no,
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: you're not right. Don't tell me it's about Tom, and
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: of course it was about Tom. And, you know, the
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: story goes on from there. But the person who took
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: the picture was Michael Cohen for Bethany, basically.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: But my question is, did you ever find out how
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Bethany and her boyfriend at the time got word that
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: he was there and canoodling?
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: Because they were friendly with a girl that knows the girl,
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: which was an ex-girlfriend.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: So they were orchestrated. This was all orchestrated. If Tom
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: ever goes, because they knew that he was seeing this girl.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: They knew he was seeing this girl on the side,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: which is an ex-girlfriend.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: And her bestie is friends with Bethany and Dennis.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: And said, oh my, so-and-so's going out.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: If Tom makes another date with her, you tell us.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Got it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: So they got a call that he's going there that
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: night at 6 o'clock or 7 o'clock, whatever it was
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: at the Regency. And that's when Michael Cohen comes in.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Okay, so here's one. This is also from the OC
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: happening currently, which is pretty juicy season.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: There's this girl, Gina. She's been on a few years.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: And she has three younger kids. OC Gina, what's her
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: last name? Kirshen something. Anyway, she's a blonde realtor. Okay,
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: so now she's a realtor. So when we meet her,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: she has a husband named... Right off the bat, he's
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: having an affair. They get divorced. And it's not a
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: good divorce and all this stuff. And she gets a DUI.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: And she becomes sober. And she gets her real estate license.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: And she gets this boyfriend. And she's showing it all.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: She doesn't have a lot of money. She's not getting
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: a lot of money from the husband. So she's in
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: this small house with her three kids. And now her
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: boyfriend is also going through divorce and his three kids.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: And now she is saying on the show, I am
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: doing better and I want to get my own house
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: because I think it's unfair that my three kids are
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: having to share with these other three kids. And I
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: feel bad about it. I thought it was such an
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: honest moment.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Is it her house and not his or what?
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: It's very equal. It's like, no, they got a house together.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: I see. So it's not her house or his house.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: No.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: But why wouldn't they get a bigger house?
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Well, I think she can afford a bigger house and
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: doesn't want to bring the three other kids.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: I see.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Because she's just like thinking about her own kids. And
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I just thought it was a really honest thing because
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: it's like it doesn't make her a bad person. They're
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: not married, but it doesn't make her a bad stepmother.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: It makes her just go, you know, my kids are
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: getting bigger. Yeah. They need privacy. When it first started,
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: they had three bunk beds in each room and they
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: kind of mix the kids based on age or sex
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: or whatever. These three kids are together. And even if
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: they're getting along and like love each other, I could
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: see her just being like, you know. let me do
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: my own thing. And then he was like, well, maybe
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: we could still date. Yeah.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: I mean, that's wise. Yeah. It's about protecting yourself. And,
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: you know, she just got divorced or just got divorced.
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: Why would you jump into another, you know, relationship? And
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: also with a man who's trying to get a divorce himself.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: And having all that negativity coming around.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: I get that you can like somebody like that. Of
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: course you can because there's attraction and all these things,
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: of course. But you stay in your house and I'll
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: stay in mine. And we see each other until we
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: figure this out, right? I mean it seems a little fast.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I also think advice to somebody too is, you know,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: you're not married. And you do have these kids. Right.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: So unless you are getting a financial gain by moving
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: into your rich boyfriend's giant house. Right. And it's like
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: a less of a burden for you.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Then you should definitely live on your own because it
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: also gives you that little bit of a freedom in
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: case something else comes along. Not that you're to cheat
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: on your boyfriend, but like maybe you'll meet somebody and
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: you'll be like, you know what? I don't know that
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: this is such a strong relationship. I want to go here.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Because I feel like she's at that age.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: That she could meet somebody really fabulous if she was single.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: If she were alone and had the opportunity. But now
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: she's married again. Okay. Whether you're married on paper, you're
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: still married because now you're bound together in this house
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: living together.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: That's too small.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: It's a terrible idea. I think you've got to keep
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: your freedom. And also, you're putting your kids around. People
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: that you don't know, I mean, do you know if
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: they're going to be there for the long run? Right.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Then they love somebody and a sister or a brother now,
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: a step, that doesn't pan out. People have to be
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: more careful than that, you know?
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: And be more protective of their own families, especially when,
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: you know, everybody's going through a divorce and a tough,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: tumultuous kind of time. Do you know what I mean?
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Right, yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: You know, there's a famous saying that says, when in doubt, duck.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: That means don't do anything until you figure it out,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: which is change places, change homes, change relationships. You know,
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: when you're doubtful, you just have to duck and think
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: and not react. People react so quickly because they react
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: from emotions instead of going, okay, what is the best
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: thing for me and my children? You know what I mean?
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: It becomes more about the relationship and, you know, and
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: I get it, but, you know, live separately.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: I saw this and.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Unless you're moving into a... a fabulous house with staff.
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Unless it's really elevating your life. And it will be
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: a benefit to your kids. You and I always agree
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: on these things. Yeah. Now, there's lots of weird wedding
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: things happening with the younger generation. And there was an
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: article in People saying that this came out through social
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: media that someone got a non-invite. They got a letter saying.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: You were not invited.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: We're getting married. We're getting married. I love it. In
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: six weeks or whatever.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: And you're not invited.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Yeah. It's a small amount of people and you're not invited,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: but you'll be in our thoughts or something. And it
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: was like, okay, is this just a hint to get.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: Rid of friends?
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Or friend groups. It's a great way to get rid
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: of friends you don't want. Right.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: And just to be like, or I mean, I think.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: You get married at the smaller thing. You keep it.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: But I guess this is where I think it is.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I think if they were like, look, it's going to
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: be small with social media and with people talking, they
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: might hear that it's happening and be really offended that
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: they weren't invited.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: So is there a way? I think you don't send
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: out a card. I think you personally call someone and say,
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: it's three hours away. We're doing it small. Like, I
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: don't know. What do you do in a situation like that?
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: I invite the people that I want, and the rest,
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: you know what? You just can't have everybody all the time.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: And you don't have to explain yourself.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: Of course not.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Of course not, unless they're really dear to you, and
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: you say, look, there's only so much room for the family.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: So unless they're really dear to you, you don't have
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: to explain why you can't have them. I think people
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: understand enough, at least the people I want to know,
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: that if you can't invite them, there's a reason. It's
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: not personal. Here we go again about emotions being, you know,
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: taking it personal. It's not personal.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: When you had your mistake wedding, you didn't invite.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: I couldn't invite everybody.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: But you didn't invite the cast members. Or did you
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: invite any of them, any of the other housewives?
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: Who did I invite? Kelly was there because Kelly and
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: I were tight then. I think I invited, Dorinda was
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: my bridesmaid.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Oh, okay. So she came, yeah.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Yeah, Dorinda was one of my bridesmaids. Oh, okay. Kelly
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: was there. Remember when at the time we weren't that tight?
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: Jill was there.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: So, yeah. Oh, okay.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: I invited them to my wedding for sure.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so you just didn't invite the people that you
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: thought might have been negative chatter.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't want the negative energy at the time. Exactly. Yeah.
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: I never want negative energy.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: No, you don't. And you know where you're never going
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: to have a negative energy? At the Luann show.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: I just want to spread joy doing cabaret. That's all
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: about it.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: At the cabaret shows. Yeah. So everybody go to Luann Shaw.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: You guys, you know, I've been a bunch of times.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: There is not a more fun evening. It really is
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: so fun. Get your girls, get your crew, have fun.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: The songs are great. The stories are great. The energy
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: is so fun. Yeah. You know, I'd have a great time.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: It's a pop culture experience.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: She has all this visual stuff, you.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: Know, things. And then I go to a story and
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: they go to the song. I mean, I have so
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: much fun creatively with the show.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: And the outfits. Giovanni.
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: Giovanni.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: They're still Giovanni.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: Still Giovanni. So, you know, it's pop culture meets cabaret
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: meets comedy meets a fashion show, really. And it's a party.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: And you are invited to that party. You know what
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: I'm saying?
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: And people love it because, you know, like I always say,
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: you know, you come in, you don't know what to expect.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: And you're like, whoa. I mean, this is a really
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: great show. Anyway, I work hard at it. I love it.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Mary F. Kill. My new song just got remixed by
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: Tracy Young, who won a Grammy with Madonna. So super exciting. And,
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: you know, got a lot going on, a lot of
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: dates coming up. And, you know, this dating show, dates
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: and dating shows. That's what's happening for me right now.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: And I actually manifested this year that I'm going to
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: find the next love in my life. And I actually
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: put it in the song. They say, three times the charm.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: So catch me if you can.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Oh, I love it. That's right. Ask.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: And check out the videos on YouTube.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Ask and receive. So put it out there, everybody.
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: And enjoy. Thank you so much. You're always so fun.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: Because life is a cabaret. You write it yourself. Exactly.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: That's right. Everyone said, she's talking about cabaret. Oh, and
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: you know what?
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: You write your story. Nobody's going to write it for you.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: You know, you were the first one that got so
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: much shit. And I remember right when it happened, I said,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I do that. When you went off and and took
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: a photo in front of your poster.
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Now J-Lo's doing it. I just saw J-Lo go to
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: the grocery store in the Hamptons with her bike to
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: go visit her poster for her Delano drinks.
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't even know.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I think it was Hugh Jackman or
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: somebody went and did a photo in front of their
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: poster on Sunset.
