- 0:47Speaker 6: I'm the what Shock Wayne Candy, Good morning to you
- 0:51Speaker 6: out there and listening.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Lane. Uh, we are back.
- 0:56Speaker 6: And I'm not talking about uh just the Sports Shock
- 1:01Speaker 6: Show or here locally school, high school and grade school
- 1:06Speaker 6: is starting back. The NFL kicks off this week Thursday night,
- 1:13Speaker 6: Chargers Lions. Yeah, I said Thursday night. Remember they moved
- 1:18Speaker 6: the game ahead of the induction. I know it used
- 1:23Speaker 6: to be the other way when you've played the game
- 1:27Speaker 6: and then you had then, but they switched to the round.
- 1:33Speaker 6: I'm quite sure it had something to do with money.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Maximize the money, make sure the crowd stay. That's how
- 1:40Speaker 6: they like to do it. NFL, Major League Baseball, NBA,
- 1:44Speaker 6: they do nothing. They're not just coloring that court different
- 1:49Speaker 6: colors every game you go because they like the crayon box.
- 1:55Speaker 6: They want to sell you the city edition jersey. Nothing
- 2:00Speaker 6: to do with the team. When you google it, look
- 2:02Speaker 6: it up. The colorway doesn't have anything to do with
- 2:05Speaker 6: the history of the team.
- 2:08Speaker 7: They say.
- 2:09Speaker 2: The capitalism sir, murmur, murmur. There's murmurs of they ran
- 2:15Speaker 2: the numbers, murmur.
- 2:17Speaker 6: If you have the induction ceremony before then, people just
- 2:22Speaker 6: probably getting in their cars and leaving because who wants
- 2:25Speaker 6: to see the Lions Chargers. That's not why you went
- 2:28Speaker 6: to Canton. No, you didn't go there for that, unless
- 2:34Speaker 6: unless two of those players, I mean unless some of
- 2:37Speaker 6: those players on those teams are going into the Hall
- 2:39Speaker 6: of Fame that weekend you really went for because guys,
- 2:45Speaker 6: even the players up there, they leave, they.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Don't go.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Lions Chargers. You feel your Jared Golf is going to play. No,
- 2:54Speaker 6: the starters aren't playing. No.
- 2:56Speaker 2: No, Well, it's it's like it's the fourth string guy
- 3:02Speaker 2: starts to game. It's a surprise that their whispers what
- 3:06Speaker 2: they may be.
- 3:08Speaker 7: In the building.
- 3:09Speaker 6: He's a more, at that school here in the state
- 3:12Speaker 6: of Georgia have decided they're going to start school on
- 3:15Speaker 6: a Friday. He finds that offensive. He doesn't have a
- 3:19Speaker 6: kid in school. I don't know why he's so dedicated.
- 3:21Speaker 6: He's not married to a teacher, he's not a coach
- 3:24Speaker 6: at one of the high schools or middle elementary. But
- 3:28Speaker 6: he has an issue with them starting on Friday because
- 3:31Speaker 6: they messing up the parents weekend. Which who lives by
- 3:36Speaker 6: the weekend anymore? I don't know anyone that lives according
- 3:40Speaker 6: to the weekend. A couple of decades from now, maybe
- 3:45Speaker 6: we all be gone. They won't even be calling it
- 3:48Speaker 6: the weekend. Why you don't wait to do what? What
- 3:53Speaker 6: do people wait till the weekend to do? Go to
- 3:57Speaker 6: church consistently?
- 3:59Speaker 7: Are you?
- 4:00Speaker 2: He said? Go to church?
- 4:02Speaker 7: Really?
- 4:02Speaker 8: No?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Really, really Sunday and Sunday and it's it's not going
- 4:09Speaker 2: out club any weekends.
- 4:11Speaker 7: Why do people wait for the weekend?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Nothing? You don't have to wait till the weekend. They
- 4:16Speaker 2: don't wait a weekend to go shopping. We don't wait
- 4:19Speaker 2: to the weekend with the weekend tax on.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Shopping is gloob.
- 4:25Speaker 9: The weekend tax?
- 4:26Speaker 10: Like like if you go somewhere, the price is twenty
- 4:30Speaker 10: fifteen dollars higher on the weekend. Specifics on that Okay, okay,
- 4:35Speaker 10: If if I book, if I book a hotel or
- 4:38Speaker 10: a flight flying on a Friday or Thursday, it's going
- 4:43Speaker 10: to cost a little bit more than versus the weekday.
- 4:45Speaker 6: Hotels are more pa on the weekday sky and on
- 4:49Speaker 6: the weekend.
- 4:50Speaker 10: But I'm saying on the weekend things are a little
- 4:53Speaker 10: bit more. On the golf, right, you play the weekend,
- 4:56Speaker 10: it's a weekend rate. Weekday is only cost you thirty five.
- 5:01Speaker 10: On the weekend, go cost you sixty five. Certain things
- 5:04Speaker 10: are on the weekend, the rates are different.
- 5:07Speaker 2: That's not, that's not. Let's not go into the place.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Good to the matrix.
- 5:13Speaker 6: All I know is I don't know anyone that waits
- 5:15Speaker 6: for the weekend to the weekend to do anything anything anymore.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, everybody except when, except when the thing only
- 5:23Speaker 2: happens on the week work on the weekend.
- 5:25Speaker 6: But Beyonce doesn't. Beyonce doesn't wait to Saturday, the whole
- 5:29Speaker 6: little concert. She wouldn't wait the Friday night. Different. She
- 5:33Speaker 6: wants to have a concert. If you have it tonight.
- 5:37Speaker 6: You look at the dating and her three nights in
- 5:39Speaker 6: Atlanta is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I don't care nothing about
- 5:43Speaker 6: Kenny having to go to work tomorrow.
- 5:44Speaker 2: And of Newton and some overalls with my chest out,
- 5:53Speaker 2: my cowboy having books on a Tuesday night. People only
- 5:58Speaker 2: nobody cares the weekend in a way, whether that's when
- 6:02Speaker 2: you have to wait. The NFL no longer waits on
- 6:04Speaker 2: the weekend. Nothing closes on the weekend. Football don't wait,
- 6:09Speaker 2: banks open, all of that. Everything you can do on
- 6:13Speaker 2: the weekend, you can do it on the weekday. There's
- 6:16Speaker 2: no need. Weekend has lost it. It's lost its luster.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Yeah, it's no longer I got paid Friday night and
- 6:22Speaker 6: I'm a party.
- 6:23Speaker 2: No, I was partying. I got direct posits some club
- 6:29Speaker 2: like a Tuesday night special.
- 6:31Speaker 6: So when you figure out what really happens on the
- 6:34Speaker 6: weekend that we don't do during the week because people
- 6:40Speaker 6: used to wait weekend that's when they would have dessert,
- 6:43Speaker 6: and they wouldn't have dessert until.
- 6:46Speaker 2: You wait to go out to eat on the weekend
- 6:49Speaker 2: Monday through because Monday through Thursday, you know, you cook
- 6:52Speaker 2: and live in the house on Friday, but.
- 6:54Speaker 6: You gotta come on I know of technology wise, I
- 6:58Speaker 6: might be still in the seventies.
- 7:00Speaker 7: But your views are in the sixties.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Sir, did you put yourself in the seventies with the technologies?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Don't do that. You ain't that Evan You at the
- 7:13Speaker 2: Tarry level.
- 7:14Speaker 7: You're not.
- 7:17Speaker 2: He had fifty two hundred. You still he pong. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: never could afford fifty two hundred. You twenty six hundred. Yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 2: he's at the I couldn't afford fifty two hundred.
- 7:27Speaker 6: So now you're talking about how richie you bragging about
- 7:29Speaker 6: growing up rich?
- 7:30Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying.
- 7:31Speaker 2: No, No, Will Smith, No, no, sir.
- 7:36Speaker 7: This is a story all about how Mike Vic.
- 7:39Speaker 6: I mean, we've got some exciting things to talk about,
- 7:42Speaker 6: Mike Vic taking over his head coach. Mike Vic and
- 7:46Speaker 6: DeShawn Jackson being college football coach are two things in
- 7:56Speaker 6: the crystal ball that I never saw happening. What Primetime
- 8:03Speaker 6: did was primetime. Primetime is a person like a lot
- 8:07Speaker 6: of my friends that if they have a boy son,
- 8:13Speaker 6: they gonna try to implement themselves as that boy's coach. Right,
- 8:18Speaker 6: I see it every day. You're better, Hey man, Yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 6: what's up?
- 8:22Speaker 2: What your man?
- 8:23Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:23Speaker 7: I'm over at so and so school. Coaching.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Yeah, my boy just got over there now all of
- 8:28Speaker 6: a sudden, you the DBAT coach. He ain't been doing no,
- 8:31Speaker 6: because that's how they figure, which is great for the school.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Lewis.
- 8:35Speaker 6: I'm just thinking, if they're going to have a stint
- 8:38Speaker 6: in coaching is typically when their son, if that's their sport,
- 8:43Speaker 6: if they're basketball, Jerry, you know, it's it's you know,
- 8:46Speaker 6: it's whatever sports you're in, that's when you start to
- 8:49Speaker 6: be out there. So uh, but Michael vick I was
- 8:52Speaker 6: singing starting his coaching career this year, Deshaun Jackson starting
- 8:56Speaker 6: his coaching career. I think they even have a game
- 8:59Speaker 6: plan in Philadelphia Stadium.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they're playing each other.
- 9:02Speaker 7: They're gonna play each other. Do you know when that is?
- 9:05Speaker 2: It's in November?
- 9:07Speaker 11: Right.
- 9:09Speaker 7: You said.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Two things you never saw in the crystal Ball. Uh,
- 9:16Speaker 2: those those two personalities and big head coaches. We could
- 9:19Speaker 2: add that next to Snoop and Martha being a tandem. No,
- 9:24Speaker 2: I could see that you saw that it's coming. I
- 9:26Speaker 2: never saw I never saw that coming. When that came,
- 9:29Speaker 2: it was brilliant. But I was like, what and so.
- 9:32Speaker 9: Because.
- 9:34Speaker 6: We all know that Martha Stewart smoked reefer. Yeah, she
- 9:39Speaker 6: grew it right behind she she was.
- 9:42Speaker 2: She she had the stuff when they was when everybody
- 9:45Speaker 2: was just calling the reefer.
- 9:46Speaker 7: She was.
- 9:47Speaker 2: She had names of strains, Maui wyle wee cheese, you know,
- 9:52Speaker 2: she o G O G skunk cheese. That was you know.
- 9:56Speaker 2: She wanted to be relevant, Yes, it wanted to broad
- 10:00Speaker 2: in his horizons. Yeah, yeah, you know, so there's a connection.
- 10:05Speaker 2: But playing with Michael Vick and watching the Shawn Jackson
- 10:08Speaker 2: in his career almost be anti teammate kind of personality.
- 10:17Speaker 6: The bird at you, the gang signs, you know, never
- 10:22Speaker 6: really showed me that he wanted to.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Be Listen, listen, listen, you gotta let that stuff go.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I mean, because honestly, we've all shot the bird and
- 10:31Speaker 2: the gang, Am I right? Am? I right?
- 10:36Speaker 7: We know that was the gang. I've never thought about it,
- 10:40Speaker 7: even joining the gang.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Don't never mind, I don't even openly know a gang number.
- 10:48Speaker 6: If they're in the gang, it's still a secret to me.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Me too. No, I'm saying I don't know nothing. I
- 10:55Speaker 2: don't know nothing about none of this.
- 10:56Speaker 6: But we got Mike big Uh prime time. We'll talk
- 11:00Speaker 6: about him today as well. He's holding a press conference
- 11:05Speaker 6: with his medical team. We don't know if that's positive
- 11:08Speaker 6: or negative. It reads more like maybe they're going to
- 11:13Speaker 6: explain the limitations. Maybe you know, it's all about being
- 11:17Speaker 6: up in the press box or something like that.
- 11:20Speaker 7: That you have to have your medical team.
- 11:22Speaker 6: And Bubba Wallace won the Brickyard for hundred. But once again,
- 11:30Speaker 6: how they wrote it up just still is not how
- 11:33Speaker 6: I like information sent to me. Wallace takes Brickyard first
- 11:40Speaker 6: black winner at Indy. I just don't really like it, Like,
- 11:45Speaker 6: can you deliver it like that? If that was coming board?
- 11:50Speaker 6: Wasn't that race? I forgot about window.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I know what you think you're trying to.
- 11:56Speaker 12: Do.
- 11:56Speaker 6: It's not like you're doing it in a way of
- 11:57Speaker 6: trying to tear, but you'm not in my opinion. We'll
- 12:01Speaker 6: talk about on the other side of the break. More
- 12:03Speaker 6: to Sports Jock Show Command Greg Big Kenny the Bad Producer.
- 12:06Speaker 7: We'll be right back. Don't go away.
- 12:30Speaker 8: Board of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne dam Videos
- 12:33Speaker 8: coming up next.
- 12:34Speaker 7: Oh are they gonna go away?
- 12:36Speaker 13: And we got returning military vets. They've served our country
- 12:40Speaker 13: at home and debroun. They've slept in tanks, fox owls

- 15:18Speaker 13: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:21Speaker 13: on the Sports Jock Show.
- 15:22Speaker 2: It's taken it to.
- 15:23Speaker 12: A completely different level this year where we highlight an
- 15:26Speaker 12: accolete that has taken their game to the next level.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 15:54Speaker 6: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne cant last Monday here in
- 15:58Speaker 6: the Month of You Lie. NFL kicking off this week
- 16:03Speaker 6: with the Hall of Fame Game the Chargers versus the
- 16:07Speaker 6: Lions on Thursday night, So the boys of the Fall
- 16:12Speaker 6: are back. Major League Baseball had their Hall of Fame
- 16:16Speaker 6: induction yesterday, which once again it just seems like some
- 16:24Speaker 6: of these things should be positioned a little better to
- 16:30Speaker 6: put a little more spotlight. Maybe this can be what
- 16:35Speaker 6: you do for All Star weekend. Maybe that's something like
- 16:39Speaker 6: you know before the home run derby or somewhere in
- 16:45Speaker 6: there where people are paying attention. These guys are Hall
- 16:50Speaker 6: of famers, They've done so much amazing work for your league,
- 16:55Speaker 6: and then you have their induction ceremony almost in a
- 17:00Speaker 6: place where people have to tell you it was one.
- 17:05Speaker 6: There's no build up to it. You don't have it
- 17:07Speaker 6: connected to anything. I said that about the Major League
- 17:11Speaker 6: Baseball Draft, like it's not. It just happens, NHL Draft,
- 17:14Speaker 6: it just happens, all right, Hall of Famers, All Star Game.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Welcome that the Baseball draft the day before the All
- 17:21Speaker 2: Star Game, right or on that that way, like, yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 2: welcome to Hall of Fame weekend. We're going to have
- 17:29Speaker 2: the draft from eight to nine thirty tomorrow, and then
- 17:33Speaker 2: from eleven to eleven forty five there'll be the induction ceremony.
- 17:38Speaker 2: There'll be lunch and drinks soon to be like, that's
- 17:42Speaker 2: not the kind of Hall of Fame induction ceremony you
- 17:46Speaker 2: think we get from baseball always.
- 17:49Speaker 6: I've even thought like even the NBA, you know, with
- 17:52Speaker 6: the whole change of the All Star weekend, why not
- 17:55Speaker 6: do the induction ceremony in that window, almost like you're
- 18:01Speaker 6: stopping for everybody to recognize in a sense, like, I
- 18:06Speaker 6: don't know, does it right to me? They do it
- 18:08Speaker 6: as something that kicks off their season, you know, with
- 18:13Speaker 6: a game and to the moment that.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Do you think that like baseball and basketball should have
- 18:19Speaker 2: Like with the with Pro Football Hall of Fame, they
- 18:22Speaker 2: have the game there and the induction ceremony because that's
- 18:26Speaker 2: where the that's where it is, it's all in one place. Baseball,
- 18:31Speaker 2: should baseball and basketball do that like have even if
- 18:35Speaker 2: it's a preseason game or spring training game. Have it
- 18:40Speaker 2: have a baseball game in Cooperstown or a basketball game
- 18:43Speaker 2: in Springfield?
- 18:45Speaker 7: Why not? What do you eventually it will become that
- 18:48Speaker 7: thing to do well?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Do you think part of what maybe baseball is challenged
- 18:53Speaker 2: with is they talk about the struggle for the fans
- 19:00Speaker 2: to grow the fan base, the exorbitant contracts that all
- 19:06Speaker 2: the teams have, and just honestly in the day to
- 19:09Speaker 2: day running of baseball, this little recognizing the guys that
- 19:14Speaker 2: used to play. I get it, I get it. All
- 19:15Speaker 2: of fame, that's cool, but you know, we only got
- 19:19Speaker 2: so many billions of dollars to spread around and so
- 19:22Speaker 2: much time to grow this business. And so again, guys,
- 19:26Speaker 2: we got the induction thing from eleven to two o'clock
- 19:31Speaker 2: on Friday, and then they'll be sandwiches. And I mean,
- 19:35Speaker 2: now we're caught up in trying to keep up with
- 19:38Speaker 2: the saturation of sports across the board.
- 19:40Speaker 6: Well that's what I'm saying as a board team, Please
- 19:44Speaker 6: stop talking. As a board team, we're trying to figure
- 19:48Speaker 6: out how to make it a bigger sport event. So
- 19:56Speaker 6: Thursday night when they have the Hall of Fame game,
- 19:58Speaker 6: the guys is going in the Hall of get to
- 20:01Speaker 6: go out before the game, have time doing the coin flip.
- 20:03Speaker 6: They get to being where you put them in radar.
- 20:06Speaker 6: I didn't know the Hall of Fame for Major League
- 20:08Speaker 6: Baseball was happening until the.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Day of Well Major League missed basically because they you know,
- 20:16Speaker 10: you just had an All Star Game. Now you got
- 20:20Speaker 10: the game in Bristol coming up at the racetrack with
- 20:24Speaker 10: the Braves and the Reds. They could have packaged all
- 20:27Speaker 10: that together as far as put possibly the Hall of
- 20:31Speaker 10: Fame part of it within the All Star or with
- 20:33Speaker 10: this new package that they're doing. It's feel the dreams
- 20:36Speaker 10: thing that they've been like, it's been out in the se.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Maybe that's part and parcel of what they struggle with
- 20:43Speaker 2: is everything's got to be some sort of packaging.
- 20:45Speaker 9: No, but but that's what he's saying that.
- 20:47Speaker 10: I mean, that's the same thing he's put it together
- 20:49Speaker 10: with the you packaged it with the All Star game.
- 20:52Speaker 10: So you got this new but you got this new
- 20:54Speaker 10: thing that you've been doing the last four seasons where
- 20:56Speaker 10: they feel dreams.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Why can't you get on the calendar of having the
- 21:01Speaker 6: induction ceremony start the season right?
- 21:05Speaker 2: And I'm saying, with all these packs.
- 21:07Speaker 6: Kind of what I'm saying, why can't why couldn't this
- 21:09Speaker 6: group be inducted back in April?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well, maybe it's because everything's we make more money
- 21:16Speaker 2: a la carte. I could sell you this game, and
- 21:18Speaker 2: then I could sell you that game, and then I
- 21:20Speaker 2: could tell you this instead of just putting.
- 21:22Speaker 7: It all in the weekend.
- 21:23Speaker 2: And maybe they go by whether like if it's Cooperstown,
- 21:25Speaker 2: New York, even in April, it's still maybe too cold
- 21:30Speaker 2: to have the ceremony having a game. You're having a game,
- 21:36Speaker 2: so I doubt it's too cold. They might consider that
- 21:41Speaker 2: everyone goes to spring training in Arizona and Florida.
- 21:44Speaker 7: Yeah, so you were.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Rather we can move on, you rather continue having these
- 21:50Speaker 6: things and they're failing because you're having them in a
- 21:56Speaker 6: way that you could have just put out a report
- 21:59Speaker 6: that these guys made the Hall of Fame. Did you
- 22:02Speaker 6: watch the Hall of Fame last night?
- 22:03Speaker 7: No? Did you watch the Hall of Fame? I had
- 22:05Speaker 7: no idea. Did you watch it last night?
- 22:07Speaker 6: Just bit some pieces of the highlights, so you didn't
- 22:10Speaker 6: watch it. Okay, So four people sitting at the table
- 22:15Speaker 6: that had some interest in sport, love sports, loved baseball,
- 22:20Speaker 6: and nobody watched it.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Had no idea what was on, was thinking to myself yesterday.
- 22:26Speaker 7: To me, that means that means failure.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Zero marketing. Well once again once again.
- 22:31Speaker 9: Now, like I said, you got this whole new package.
- 22:33Speaker 10: You've been marketing in this field of dreams game and
- 22:36Speaker 10: like you said, the All Star So you got two
- 22:39Speaker 10: opportunities Baseball, and you sandwiched the Hall of Fame induction
- 22:43Speaker 10: in between these two events.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So they could have That's all I'm saying. They could
- 22:47Speaker 2: have hitched their wagon to one of.
- 22:49Speaker 6: These somewhere, Like the NFL tells you who made it.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Two days before the super Bowl, they had a guy's
- 23:00Speaker 6: I'm out during Super Bowl and then they have the ceremony.
- 23:04Speaker 6: The go in line with the first game of the year.

- 26:16Speaker 6: I'm this Woe Shock Wing Candy co Match, Greg Big Kenny,
- 26:19Speaker 6: the bad producer for that Hall of Fame.
- 26:23Speaker 7: Some of the names C C.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Sabbati, uh uh, each you rolls so Zuki. Most of
- 26:30Speaker 6: you didn't even know each had a last name, but
- 26:33Speaker 6: he did.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Is he related to the motorcycle Suzuki's They probably is
- 26:39Speaker 2: because you know his his his last name is actually
- 26:42Speaker 2: each his first name is Suzuki.
- 26:45Speaker 7: That's how they do it.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh, Okay, So he not related.
- 26:48Speaker 9: To Fast the boy fast Azuki.
- 26:50Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I mean that could be
- 26:52Speaker 2: that that the name of it. Okay, he could be
- 26:56Speaker 2: a nickname Suki.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Faster.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Ye'all gonna get an international incident start going around here.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Dave Parker who passed away just in the last maybe
- 27:12Speaker 6: two months that Dave Parker passed away. He made it
- 27:16Speaker 6: into the Hall of Fame as well. So Billy Wagner
- 27:23Speaker 6: made it in as a pitcher, so the Cooperstown now
- 27:27Speaker 6: has but it was five.
- 27:29Speaker 7: People that went in.
- 27:31Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, five people into the Hall of Fame. We
- 27:36Speaker 6: were talking about Dion Sanders, prime time head coach of
- 27:40Speaker 6: the Colorado Buffalo's with college football season upon us. Dean
- 27:46Speaker 6: is going to hold a press comforts at some point
- 27:48Speaker 6: today along with his medical staff to I guess explain
- 27:55Speaker 6: his situation. We don't, you know, he's kind of kept
- 27:58Speaker 6: us in the dark. Not that it's any of our business.
- 28:03Speaker 6: Mine is just more of it's something he needs to
- 28:07Speaker 6: put his position himself. We've seen coaches, especially when they
- 28:11Speaker 6: get sick or older, maybe have to do a year
- 28:16Speaker 6: or have a surgery. Some of them have gotten hurt
- 28:18Speaker 6: during the season and have had to coach from the
- 28:21Speaker 6: press box. So maybe it's just something like that for
- 28:25Speaker 6: coach Prime hoping is something like that on a positive note.
- 28:30Speaker 6: It doesn't sound positive, but that would be positive from
- 28:33Speaker 6: how gloomy it feels right now. So prayers up for
- 28:37Speaker 6: prime Shador Sanders not getting reps at Cleveland. How many
- 28:42Speaker 6: fifth rounders and this is part of why when I
- 28:45Speaker 6: was telling teams people why the draft was so wit
- 28:49Speaker 6: Shader each round he would have gotten drafted sooner. More
- 28:56Speaker 6: and more noise pressure on organization to coach fifth rounder.
- 29:02Speaker 6: Who talks about a fifth rounder not getting snaps, think
- 29:10Speaker 6: about it. He talks about a fifth round pick. Wait
- 29:13Speaker 6: now the guy not getting right now first team reps.
- 29:17Speaker 6: You mean the guy that we got from the place
- 29:21Speaker 6: that went to the game in the bowl. Other fifth rounders,
- 29:28Speaker 6: name them?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Name a fifth rounder other than Shadura Sanders. Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick,
- 29:36Speaker 2: quick quick. I'm saying, we ain't got time to google.
- 29:39Speaker 2: We ain't got time to name another name one more,
- 29:43Speaker 2: any position, name one more.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Some people are either you gonna get him and play him,
- 29:49Speaker 6: or you're going to have to just wait till you
- 29:52Speaker 6: need him. But they bring too much attention, too much questions.
- 29:57Speaker 6: I gotta answer about a player that's not even nobody
- 30:02Speaker 6: goes to the podium after the after practice and has
- 30:07Speaker 6: the answer questions about a fifth rounder.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Isn't just a matter of the he he's the guy
- 30:14Speaker 2: that gets that's getting the clicks or you know, this
- 30:19Speaker 2: is this as far as like how people are viewing
- 30:23Speaker 2: the coverage that he's getting. This is just the media like, well,
- 30:27Speaker 2: he's getting the he he gets views, he gets the attention,
- 30:32Speaker 2: so we need to report about him to get the
- 30:36Speaker 2: readers and the viewers attention.
- 30:40Speaker 6: No, you're you're you're doing that to make sure you
- 30:43Speaker 6: sell your paper.
- 30:44Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. They're trying to sell a magazine Brown, right,
- 30:53Speaker 2: That's what I mean.
- 30:54Speaker 6: So how why would I want to bring something in
- 30:57Speaker 6: that you're going to make more than and fifth round
- 31:01Speaker 6: picks typically don't get first team reps?
- 31:06Speaker 2: Do fifth our fifth don't our fifth round picks even
- 31:10Speaker 2: there this late training, I know it just started, but
- 31:14Speaker 2: well they're there. They're there at the start at least,
- 31:16Speaker 2: and I'm saying for the first couple of meetings and
- 31:18Speaker 2: then they hey, man, we don't really need you like that.
- 31:22Speaker 2: But nobody's talking about them like that. And if he,
- 31:26Speaker 2: if he weren't should Do or Sanders, they wouldn't be
- 31:29Speaker 2: saying he's not getting any reps. They he'd just be
- 31:32Speaker 2: the fifth one, I mean, was.
- 31:35Speaker 7: The third round pick.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah he should pick up because no one's talking about
- 31:39Speaker 2: Dylan Gabriel, who's the third round pick on the same team.
- 31:42Speaker 2: So I think it's just it's the name and and
- 31:46Speaker 2: that's going to it's uh, it's provocative. It gets the people, Well,
- 31:50Speaker 2: he sold, well know what I'm saying, he sold, he
- 31:52Speaker 2: sold a lot of jerseys. That's one thing that while
- 31:56Speaker 2: everybody right now, but maybe fourteen million possibly commissioning jerseys.
- 32:02Speaker 2: And then also the he should get some more reps
- 32:04Speaker 2: now because a picket just a hamstring. Okay, so he's
- 32:10Speaker 2: a third the.
- 32:11Speaker 9: Dah, so he'll get some more reps. So everybody should
- 32:14Speaker 9: be happy.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Right, And see that's what I'm saying. Who's gonna be happy?
- 32:21Speaker 2: Nobody's They're hyping what we ought to be expecting from
- 32:26Speaker 2: their fifth round draft pick. Nobody should the only again,
- 32:32Speaker 2: like are we expecting more than that? Like if he
- 32:35Speaker 2: gets two snaps as a fifth rounder, then ooh boy,
- 32:39Speaker 2: you show some promise. It's again, they just keep seem
- 32:43Speaker 2: like they hyping what we ought to be If he
- 32:45Speaker 2: gets two steps, yeah, people are going to be excited
- 32:48Speaker 2: about that because like, oh, he's closer to being the starter,
- 32:52Speaker 2: even though he may be two years from being the starter,
- 32:56Speaker 2: I think.
- 32:56Speaker 6: And I brought it up because so you can stop
- 33:00Speaker 6: going with the media hype. Understand that the sports media
- 33:04Speaker 6: has become a true shark where they are almost the
- 33:12Speaker 6: What was that thing at the grocery store when you
- 33:16Speaker 6: check out what was used to be back in the day.
- 33:19Speaker 6: The Impulse know the magazine National Inquirer, National Inquiry. They're
- 33:23Speaker 6: starting to report sports that way. They're following Tom Brady
- 33:27Speaker 6: around and taking pictures of him with his shirt off,
- 33:30Speaker 6: and then they make that something tom Brady if he
- 33:35Speaker 6: walks around with any woman, regardless of what these people situation,
- 33:40Speaker 6: you you print it like it's something. It's just made
- 33:44Speaker 6: me think of any anybody's a girlfriend or wife that
- 33:49Speaker 6: takes any picture somewhere, You go and find it and
- 33:53Speaker 6: post it. They didn't call you to put it up there.
- 33:59Speaker 6: And you're the same thing what I was saying with Shador,
- 34:03Speaker 6: where teams might have taken him a little earlier, but
- 34:08Speaker 6: they understood if I didn't get him to start, all
- 34:14Speaker 6: you're gonna do is claw at me and ask me questions. Well, coach,
- 34:19Speaker 6: I see Chador didn't get in today. Yeah, his foot
- 34:24Speaker 6: is broken. No fifth round, fifth on the depth chart.
- 34:29Speaker 6: Quarterbacks might only throw the ball to warm the receivers up.
- 34:35Speaker 6: Maybe maybe that's what they might get done in a day.
- 34:42Speaker 7: That's really it. They said.
- 34:44Speaker 2: He throwing to the trainers. That's what I read, But.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Because he's shoulder, you're saying you was out there. Count start.
- 34:52Speaker 2: This is not college. We're getting ready for a game.
- 34:56Speaker 2: There really only are first team reps. There is no
- 35:03Speaker 2: second team.
- 35:06Speaker 6: I run all the plays and if I feel winded,
- 35:09Speaker 6: I give you a little wink and you go in there.
- 35:14Speaker 6: But if we run seventy plays a day in practice,
- 35:17Speaker 6: the starters ran sixty. They just called you real quick,
- 35:23Speaker 6: Greg to see if he was paying attention.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Huh huh me comand Jay sportshock down? What's that means?
- 35:34Speaker 6: Then they start making up scenarios sports, shock down, Big
- 35:37Speaker 6: Kenny down? Come on, she see if you knew which
- 35:39Speaker 6: way to go? Run two guys out which one? Y'all
- 35:43Speaker 6: run two plays real quick. And then they look at
- 35:45Speaker 6: the sheet and they realize and oh, okay, we want
- 35:50Speaker 6: big Kenny to run this. Big Kenny come back in here,
- 35:52Speaker 6: which is Kenny? Because we don't need you to run
- 35:54Speaker 6: it because you won't be in there. We'll run this play.
- 35:56Speaker 6: But big Kenny, Uh, I'm telling you how it goes.
- 36:01Speaker 6: These practices, that's how they do it. Well, if I
- 36:04Speaker 6: hear the play, I need to practice this play.
- 36:08Speaker 2: You don't there really isn't no second team steps. They're
- 36:15Speaker 2: just snaps and then they rotate some people in to
- 36:22Speaker 2: I'm part of a package. Say I'm part of a package.
- 36:28Speaker 2: A campaign, no matter how feudal. It may actually be
- 36:31Speaker 2: a campaign for Shaudor to be the starter week one
- 36:36Speaker 2: that is the longest of long shots. But I think
- 36:39Speaker 2: it's it's the name recognition, and we see it.
- 36:43Speaker 7: We saw it.
- 36:43Speaker 2: We just saw with its summer league with Bronnie. They
- 36:48Speaker 2: marketed that Mavericks Lakers game as Bronni versus Cooper Flag
- 36:53Speaker 2: and they're selling tickets at one thousand percent markup, like
- 36:57Speaker 2: and everything Bronnie does like that, there's a highlight that
- 37:01Speaker 2: ESPN or or bleacher Report puts up. So it's just
- 37:04Speaker 2: it's the name recognition and that the name is gonna
- 37:07Speaker 2: get the views.
- 37:09Speaker 6: I want some of you to know. To check out
- 37:13Speaker 6: the running back for the Falcons.
- 37:15Speaker 18: Uh.
- 37:16Speaker 7: He says, his name is not B John Robinson. Is John?
- 37:25Speaker 9: That that hair that care color?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Not B J.
- 37:28Speaker 7: Robinson you're there talking about. I'm just say you're saying
- 37:33Speaker 7: it wrong.

- 41:07Speaker 1: even welcome back to the show. I'm the sports shock Wing.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Can d make sure?
- 41:13Speaker 2: Now?
- 41:14Speaker 6: How do you say the Falcons running back's name baproducer.
- 41:21Speaker 7: Bijon Comani by.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Jani Kenny Twins. Hold On, I'm just trying to get
- 41:32Speaker 2: this spelling down. I'm trying to get the spelling down.
- 41:37Speaker 7: Vjeon.
- 41:40Speaker 2: I'm saying when I was calling you b Jon, it
- 41:44Speaker 2: was spelled the same way as Jon. Why how we
- 41:48Speaker 2: doing that?
- 41:49Speaker 6: Terry Bradshaw taking a swing at Aaron Rodgers in the
- 41:53Speaker 6: News saying the signing of Aaron Rodgers to the Stillers
- 41:59Speaker 6: is a joke in his estimation. Aaron Rodgers taking the
- 42:04Speaker 6: high road, saying he's known Terry for a long time.
- 42:07Speaker 6: He has misinformation. Did a good job of not getting
- 42:11Speaker 6: into a cat fight with Terry Bradshaw over this. I
- 42:19Speaker 6: personally and don't see getting Aaron Rodgers as a joke.
- 42:27Speaker 6: To me, the Steelers last year by grabbing Russell Wilson
- 42:32Speaker 6: justin feels now getting Aaron Rodgers look at their team
- 42:37Speaker 6: and maybe feel like we got like a two three
- 42:40Speaker 6: year window and we're just looking for a certain kind
- 42:47Speaker 6: of quarterback play more leadership. I'm not trying to get
- 42:52Speaker 6: the thirty one year old Aaron Rodgers. I'm just trying
- 42:56Speaker 6: to get this player that play that leadership from the position.
- 43:01Speaker 6: But I don't see it as do y'all see the
- 43:03Speaker 6: signing as a joke. It's a one year deal.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Now, just getting like you know, they said, having a leader,
- 43:09Speaker 2: a veteran at quarterback and see if we make a
- 43:13Speaker 2: playoff run. Because I think the rest of the team,
- 43:15Speaker 2: at least on offense, SEMs pretty young or the receivers
- 43:18Speaker 2: are fairly young. So having a veteran, approving guy at quarterback,
- 43:25Speaker 2: I mean, you're not asking to do everything, but it's
- 43:29Speaker 2: someone who can, like at least help develop the rest
- 43:32Speaker 2: of the offense.
- 43:33Speaker 7: And we've seen this through the history of the league.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Guys Hall of Fame quarterbacks that last year or two,
- 43:39Speaker 6: Brett Favre, Joe Montana went to Kansas City.
- 43:43Speaker 7: Kansas City felt like they had it. They had it.
- 43:46Speaker 6: They felt like they had the defense, they had a
- 43:48Speaker 6: run game. They just needed somebody to manage. There was
- 43:52Speaker 6: some smart management. They felt like all it was all
- 43:55Speaker 6: they was missing back in ninety four ninety five whenever
- 43:57Speaker 6: that was Joe and that's why they when it got him.
- 44:00Speaker 6: But we've seen teams who think they and sometimes it's
- 44:04Speaker 6: cashed in there. There was Peyton manning it cast in
- 44:07Speaker 6: Tom Brady. It cashed in with the Bucks, with Peyton,
- 44:12Speaker 6: with Denver guy. Yeah, guys that they thought. It's not
- 44:15Speaker 6: like those guys went there and set some season records.
- 44:19Speaker 2: No, no, they just effective bait uh football players.
- 44:23Speaker 7: Let TERR.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Bradshaw didn't qualify or quantify his statement any like. I
- 44:28Speaker 2: think it's a joke because.
- 44:31Speaker 6: I think he was playing more off of how the
- 44:34Speaker 6: image of Aaron Rodgers the last four years. He was
- 44:39Speaker 6: telling him, man, just go to Cali and get to
- 44:44Speaker 6: go up to Joshua Tree. He made some comments like.
- 44:48Speaker 10: Well you think he would do you think that Terry
- 44:50Speaker 10: doesn't think that he's serious because let's look at it
- 44:52Speaker 10: the Terrys point, he was the Stealers, that's his organization.
- 44:55Speaker 10: He's won super Bowl, super Bowl, super Bowl with him,
- 44:59Speaker 10: and he feels that just over the last few years
- 45:02Speaker 10: of Aaron Rodgers, with his injuries and just a lot
- 45:04Speaker 10: of things, he's reporting how he's his uh, like you said,
- 45:08Speaker 10: the Joshua Tree and everything. And you know, maybe Terry Bradshaw,
- 45:11Speaker 10: being an old school NFL hard knows guys like, man,
- 45:15Speaker 10: you coming to Pittsburgh and you're you're not being sincere,
- 45:18Speaker 10: you're not being serious. You only signed for one year.
- 45:22Speaker 10: We could have did something better. You offered me on
- 45:24Speaker 10: one year.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Come on, man and listen, listen, listen now now.
- 45:28Speaker 7: But the same thing.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers had gone to Pittsburgh and say I want
- 45:34Speaker 2: to retire here, I want a five year deal, Terry
- 45:37Speaker 2: would have been like, man, at that age, there's no
- 45:39Speaker 2: way you should be even considering. And they gave it
- 45:42Speaker 2: to him, and then they'd be upset about you know,
- 45:45Speaker 2: how how can you guarantee that? So which one is it?
- 45:49Speaker 2: He's in as far as they'll let him come into
- 45:52Speaker 2: the organization. They gave him a one year deal. Let's
- 45:56Speaker 2: see how this one year. It may just be that
- 45:58Speaker 2: Terry Bradshaw doesn't see Aaron Ryders as a serious person
- 46:03Speaker 2: and he's in the news or he's being talked about
- 46:07Speaker 2: for things outside of football, yes, which.
- 46:13Speaker 6: We haven't seen. We've seen really since Jim McMahon. Yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 6: quarterback quarterbacks always are kind of locked in a cage
- 46:24Speaker 6: in public that they have to act quarterbackly.
- 46:30Speaker 2: They go from then, they go from the huddle to
- 46:33Speaker 2: the announcing booth or to the anchor desk of sports.
- 46:39Speaker 6: And that's why how many times I've said that when
- 46:43Speaker 6: people is that Cam Newton didn't act quarterbackly, they don't
- 46:48Speaker 6: like that. No, that's not how the quarterback is supposed.
- 46:52Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers was pushing doing the discount double check. He
- 46:57Speaker 6: was teetering of being un quarterback actually doing that. Because
- 47:01Speaker 6: quarterbacks are all supposed to give you a good pump
- 47:04Speaker 6: and a point.
- 47:05Speaker 2: A pump and a point you can lower your.
- 47:08Speaker 6: Rights, that's all a quarterback or No, you don't even
- 47:14Speaker 6: supposed to know how to do the gritty right if
- 47:18Speaker 6: you're a QB. How you got to the end zone
- 47:20Speaker 6: with Jeffer and Justinson doing they covered, they covered all.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Of those hosting Jeopardy was just crossing the line. Yeah
- 47:29Speaker 2: you what you're doing? Man's regular Jeopardy, not sports Jeopardy.
- 47:34Speaker 2: That's how they put the quarterback position. Has always been
- 47:37Speaker 2: that way. It's even that way in the locker room.
- 47:40Speaker 6: He's not really supposed to be here now we know
- 47:43Speaker 6: he what what is he doing?
- 47:45Speaker 24: Like?
- 47:46Speaker 2: He's not supposed to be twin We know tweets two.
- 47:49Speaker 7: Am and we at the bar? What are you doing here?
- 47:52Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, he's supposed to be at home, correct, Ben sleep?
- 47:57Speaker 2: Like nine thirty? Why do you doing it? Why is
- 48:00Speaker 2: he getting I'm the leader? Why is he getting in
- 48:02Speaker 2: the car? I'm the leader. Yes, the leader is supposed
- 48:05Speaker 2: to be home sleep, But I gotta be out here
- 48:07Speaker 2: with you guys. We gotta get the leader supposed to be.
- 48:15Speaker 7: How we going with perfect?
- 48:17Speaker 6: You know when I come to work, you was just
- 48:20Speaker 6: getting off the elevator with the owner, his wife, the
- 48:25Speaker 6: GM and his wife and coach.
- 48:27Speaker 2: But we we got on the scene. Y'all have been
- 48:29Speaker 2: on the meeting that had nothing to do with me.
- 48:31Speaker 9: Yeah, but I'm on the table.
- 48:33Speaker 2: There's you and then there's us.
- 48:35Speaker 9: Now, but we together though I want to win he's not.
- 48:38Speaker 6: Doing I'm telling you those little things. That's how Baker
- 48:41Speaker 6: may feel. Johnny Manziel, any of those guys that's not
- 48:45Speaker 6: quarterback whatell did. Oh yeah, man, you're bringing so many rules.
- 48:53Speaker 6: We'll be back more than Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 48:58Speaker 6: Remember pump point, pumping points, pumping point that you saw.
- 49:02Speaker 2: That's all you saw.
- 49:03Speaker 7: Eli Payne due they pump your pump hand them all that.
- 49:21Speaker 8: Don't bowl Wayne Or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 49:23Speaker 8: Wayne dam videos coming up next.
- 49:26Speaker 11: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 49:29Speaker 11: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 49:32Speaker 11: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 49:36Speaker 11: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 49:39Speaker 11: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 49:43Speaker 11: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 49:47Speaker 11: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it isn't
- 49:49Speaker 11: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go
- 49:52Speaker 11: to Real Deal on fentanyl dot com. This message is
- 49:55Speaker 11: brought to you by the ad Council.
- 49:56Speaker 18: This message is for a Shana, my mom who just
- 49:58Speaker 18: finished our high school. I wanted to say, I'm so
- 50:01Speaker 18: proud of you for finishing school. You'll tell me it's
- 50:04Speaker 18: never too later. Achieve your dreams. I hope to make

- 50:25Speaker 15: the AD Council.
- 50:28Speaker 2: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 50:33Speaker 25: Center cord on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Thanks to this sport shock shower, I'm the sports shock
- 51:03Speaker 6: wing Gandy guys. Okay, in unison, let's do it already,
- 51:08Speaker 6: all right, Pump and point one more time, Pump and point.
- 51:16Speaker 6: That's what you are. The QB is the only person
- 51:18Speaker 6: on the field that's a company man. He's the only
- 51:23Speaker 6: company man.
- 51:26Speaker 7: On the field.
- 51:27Speaker 6: Everybody else is not. His pay is different, his treatment
- 51:31Speaker 6: is different. How the equipment man and how the trainer
- 51:36Speaker 6: runs over to him is different.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Sometimes he's missing, he goes, he goes.
- 51:41Speaker 6: To the back room that has a glass door. If
- 51:46Speaker 6: he's injured. The rest of us just get pulled right
- 51:49Speaker 6: outside the locker room on the gurney.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Shock. He's misunderstood. When you see him getting off the
- 51:57Speaker 2: elevator with the coach and the owner, the general manager.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Then why that wasn't a meeting, That was a private
- 52:02Speaker 2: prayer service and they gathered to lift him up as
- 52:06Speaker 2: he goes forward to be that.
- 52:08Speaker 6: Way through the history of the game, and the outliers
- 52:11Speaker 6: have always been those that act any different, no matter
- 52:14Speaker 6: how it was. That's why I went back to Jim mcman.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Anyone acted with any kind of personality, it was awkward
- 52:24Speaker 6: to know that anybody I miss you. I'm just saying
- 52:27Speaker 6: anytime there was some kind of awkwardness to how they
- 52:32Speaker 6: played or came to the game dressed, or if they
- 52:35Speaker 6: dance or they did anything other than pump point.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and Rogers is quick to jump up and.
- 52:46Speaker 6: I own you, I own you, And that's what started,
- 52:50Speaker 6: and everybody's like, whoa. They have a quiet discussion at
- 52:55Speaker 6: dinner later, like all right, have a good great win, guys,
- 52:58Speaker 6: good night, good night.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Hey man. Did you see Aaron say I own you earlier?
- 53:03Speaker 2: It made me nervous. What are we gonna do about that?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Warren moon those guys coming war. He was a pumper
- 53:10Speaker 2: and a pointer, pumping point. He was a pumping.
- 53:13Speaker 6: Point high five. But he don't even they don't even
- 53:16Speaker 6: jump for they high fives.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Peyton didn't display, you know how everybody else jumping.
- 53:21Speaker 7: They just put up like this, that's how it goes.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Peyton didn't display any uh jumping.
- 53:28Speaker 7: I'm gonna put your receiver. Yeah, that's what the.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Mannings didn't display personality to post football like. They started
- 53:36Speaker 2: doing a lot of funny TV skits and stuff after football,
- 53:39Speaker 2: but during they were just pumping point. The Venezuelan Little
- 53:44Speaker 2: League team denied entry into the US. Guys, I saw
- 53:48Speaker 2: a couple of you sent this story. I had already
- 53:51Speaker 2: put it down. Uh, but due to US relations with
- 53:56Speaker 2: Venezuela which have been going on long time. So for
- 54:02Speaker 2: y'all just throw one name out on it, did y'all love?
- 54:06Speaker 2: Just throw that one name on things that have been
- 54:09Speaker 2: around for a long time.
- 54:10Speaker 9: Man, my light wouldn't come on this one. I'm saying
- 54:14Speaker 9: that guy.
- 54:14Speaker 6: For the US and Venezuela had been at ours for
- 54:17Speaker 6: a minute.
- 54:18Speaker 2: But usually your kid could come play. That was me
- 54:21Speaker 2: and you, but usually your boy could come play. In
- 54:24Speaker 2: the front yard. But now I haven't got to the
- 54:25Speaker 2: point where keep your live, keep your box head by
- 54:29Speaker 2: the son in your yard.
- 54:32Speaker 7: You guys agree with this move by the US.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Rules or rules if it's like some the band is
- 54:40Speaker 2: some blanket thing and that's what it falls under. How
- 54:47Speaker 2: good it is the team, that's why you think.
- 54:52Speaker 7: I'm saying, because.
- 54:55Speaker 2: For three listen, for three generations your box said by
- 55:00Speaker 2: the children been coming to my yard to.
- 55:02Speaker 7: Play to this.
- 55:03Speaker 2: One little boy hit the ball a ton and don't
- 55:06Speaker 2: nobody else hit the ball like that, not even improved
- 55:09Speaker 2: my little waterhead kids. And now and now I'm just saying,
- 55:13Speaker 2: if your boys stay at home, my boy looked better.
- 55:17Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying. I ain't saying that's why I
- 55:19Speaker 2: told you to keep your friends. I'm just saying, if that,
- 55:23Speaker 2: if I want to see how good they are, and
- 55:26Speaker 2: if they are major competition, then and.
- 55:29Speaker 6: Half of you said, you're saying the man that made
- 55:31Speaker 6: this call didn't have a dog in this fight.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Now, now let's some congressman's son. Let you look at
- 55:40Speaker 2: the established realities. Let's look at the Venezuela and the
- 55:43Speaker 2: United States ain't never been on some how I was
- 55:46Speaker 2: up twin that had never been them. They always had
- 55:48Speaker 2: a little bit of But Venezuela always come and play,
- 55:51Speaker 2: don't they. They would come, and they were even even
- 55:54Speaker 2: with the threat that all right, y'all gonna keep on,
- 55:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna make you go home, but they were still
- 55:59Speaker 2: they were still show. We've had that a couple of times.
- 56:01Speaker 2: All right, Venezuelan, y'all gonna keep on, and we're gonna
- 56:05Speaker 2: how old is that boy?
- 56:06Speaker 7: Let us see it's the driver's license. We've had that.
- 56:08Speaker 2: With Venezuelans and countries like that. But now all of
- 56:13Speaker 2: a sudden, ah nah brouh. Just can't.
- 56:17Speaker 7: I can't.
- 56:17Speaker 6: I don't have any evidence to disput you. Maybe they
- 56:20Speaker 6: are stacked and we're getting rid of the competition.
- 56:23Speaker 2: I want to see. I want to see how well
- 56:25Speaker 2: they under the guys. Guys, we saw this coming, so
- 56:31Speaker 2: we got them lost from the president. We can't are
- 56:34Speaker 2: hands and tied.
- 56:36Speaker 7: Uh.
- 56:36Speaker 6: Well, Venezuelan unless they change it by the time things
- 56:40Speaker 6: get going.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Uh did they reverse that that flip?
- 56:46Speaker 9: They're still supposed to be going to court.
- 56:48Speaker 2: To the game. The game was when we talked about
- 56:51Speaker 2: it Thursday. The game was that day and and this
- 56:55Speaker 2: is what.
- 56:55Speaker 6: I don't remember the story young kid uh in the
- 57:00Speaker 6: little league up in Massachusetts.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Yeah was it? It was in New Jersey, New Jersey.
- 57:08Speaker 7: After he hit a home run.
- 57:09Speaker 2: He hit a high bat and let's let's redefined backflip.
- 57:15Speaker 6: He threw the bat, He threw the back, he chunked it.
- 57:18Speaker 6: He tossed it very very high into the air. He
- 57:21Speaker 6: was he empire deemed that it was.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Unsportsman and possible the same project.
- 57:29Speaker 10: But that same umpire let the kid sling the bat
- 57:32Speaker 10: out of his hand and hit the catcher and didn't call,
- 57:35Speaker 10: didn't call the ferce.
- 57:38Speaker 2: He was allowed to play. Okay, so he was allowed,
- 57:42Speaker 2: which which is because public outcry now is actual vote,
- 57:46Speaker 2: which by rule, if we were going to go by
- 57:50Speaker 2: why umpire would say number one unsportsmanlike and and then too,
- 57:55Speaker 2: you're probably endangering other players because he threw the bat
- 58:00Speaker 2: and then it went outside the baseline and landed on
- 58:03Speaker 2: the side where generally someone might be standing or a
- 58:07Speaker 2: bat boy might be coming to retrieve a bat. So
- 58:10Speaker 2: it was a legitimate call, Yes, legitimate people, because the
- 58:15Speaker 2: boy was celebrating. Let him have his moment.
- 58:19Speaker 10: And we're so whiny, But the same people don't like
- 58:22Speaker 10: when certain quarterbacks were doing this. Yo, you shouldn't be
- 58:26Speaker 10: doing that like you've been there, pump your fist and point.
- 58:29Speaker 7: Well, you know that's.
- 58:31Speaker 2: The thing you can if you take off from the
- 58:35Speaker 2: three and then run ninety seven yards for a touchdown,
- 58:39Speaker 2: give me this. But if you just don't get sacked
- 58:43Speaker 2: and get a yard, come on, bitch, just get back
- 58:47Speaker 2: in a huddle. That's what I'm against. Just get backing out.
- 58:50Speaker 2: It was a yard.
- 58:51Speaker 10: It was a yard. You didn't get sacked and you
- 58:54Speaker 10: only made a yard. But I'm saying it's the same
- 58:56Speaker 10: people that's crying.
- 58:57Speaker 6: For No, it's two different people, because I'm one of
- 59:00Speaker 6: those people, and I have no problem with you ripping
- 59:03Speaker 6: your chest up. I just have a problem with you
- 59:04Speaker 6: going to the to the post meeting and going to
- 59:07Speaker 6: point fingers of other people not being serious. But I
- 59:12Speaker 6: do believe that that umpire, if it's his judgment, is
- 59:16Speaker 6: his judgment.
- 59:17Speaker 7: Oh yeah, he can go with it or not go
- 59:19Speaker 7: with it.
- 59:20Speaker 6: But it's not like he said you violated the rule
- 59:23Speaker 6: and you didn't.
- 59:24Speaker 7: People went at it like he was.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Being wrong, wrong and judgmental in some sort of discriminatory
- 59:33Speaker 2: weight and It wasn't.
- 59:34Speaker 9: That, No, it wasn't. I mean those type of people
- 59:38Speaker 9: more the time.
- 59:38Speaker 2: They want a warning before you, and that's they're called rules.
- 59:44Speaker 16: But.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Warnings what warnings are in the rules? There a bridge,
- 59:49Speaker 2: you can have a tool, and he broke the rules.
- 59:52Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. This wasn't a one time.
- 59:54Speaker 7: We'll be back after this.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Don't go away.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: More of the sports Josh Yo with Wayne Gambias up next.
- 1:00:15Speaker 26: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:00:18Speaker 26: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:00:21Speaker 26: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 1:00:24Speaker 26: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:00:27Speaker 26: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:00:31Speaker 26: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:00:34Speaker 26: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:00:37Speaker 26: a positive. I knew I needed more tools on my
- 1:00:40Speaker 26: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:00:44Speaker 26: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:00:46Speaker 26: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:00:49Speaker 26: being that good.
- 1:00:50Speaker 27: Role model as well, that model's good behavior in front
- 1:00:53Speaker 27: of them, going to work every day, coming home and
- 1:00:56Speaker 27: being able to put on that smile the biggest reward
- 1:00:59Speaker 27: about being dad. You're sitting back and watching your kids
- 1:01:03Speaker 27: be happy.
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: Never stop being a dad.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: That's dedication.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Find out more on fatherhood dot gov.
- 1:01:10Speaker 26: Brought to you by the US Department of Health and
- 1:01:12Speaker 26: Human Services and the ad Council.
- 1:01:19Speaker 27: Not enough, I don't have any why so serious?
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: And we hold the world ransom for Wayne. Excuse me
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: while I whip this out. Shure broadcasting live and it
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: led her to a job of this.
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: This is the.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandy. You may began me up,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: can you win me down? Get you find me down?
- 1:01:45Speaker 13: That console Fi Council, coget, I come to markets.
- 1:01:49Speaker 18: It's just.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: I'm doing Berg.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I'm gonna go.
- 1:01:56Speaker 18: All the way.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: You may Pi Vegan work back to the spots, shock Shop.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I'm the sports shock Wing.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: Can be a couple of issues in the NBAA it
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: looks like Marcus Morris, part of Morris and Morris, the
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: twins that have been in the NBA twelve thirteen years
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: of different teams have moved around, but Marcus Morris Senior
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: been arrested.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: On fraud charge in Florida.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: It seems that this is stemming from a debt o
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: to the casino at if you have a marker more
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: than twelve hundred dollars, the casino can put a fraud
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: charge or you know, like you didn't pay kind of
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: charge of.
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: Out for you.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: Warn't for your arrest. It's almost like a bad check
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: kind of thing. Yes, And I guess that's kind of
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: where this. I don't know if Marcus was aware he's
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: still oldd or he just blew it off and walked out.
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: But that's what it seems like. Uh, it's just gonna
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: be one of those things where he pays and the
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: case gets dropped. But it seems like that's what a technicality,
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: which is still a rule. I mean, if you old
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: twelve hundred dollars and walk out the casino or whatever.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: Yeah, we but you.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Eating all stagger out the casino. I forgot we owed
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: twelve hundred dollars. Right, I'm gonna bring it back. Might
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: not even be for losing twin because you're talking about
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: some drinks and I mean some steaks and seafood. Look,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: it was a sweet I'm saying we was there.
- 1:03:45Speaker 26: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:03:46Speaker 10: I had a full house with a seven and Jackson.
- 1:03:48Speaker 10: You had a full house eight and Kings and and
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: I'm and I lost the thing.
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: I would like to know if I knew someone that
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: worked at the casino in this department with these booking records,
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: is it now with all this AI, something that might
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: have been something that a human actually was able to
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: extend or wait or with AI, it's an automatic alert
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: as it's running and it sees anything that's over twelve
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: hundred that's not. It just automatically fouls in technology like
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: technology can be that, it doesn't. It doesn't make that discretion.
- 1:04:29Speaker 18: Now.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: No, it doesn't have our our important customers. It just
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: has delinquent account delink when that's you know, and so
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: that gets issued there.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: When I saw it, I was.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Wondering, could it be something like that to where it
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: is taken out of the hands of one of you
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: making commands, your great.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Guy that never sent my brother to them over there? Pop,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: it was you?
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: They just was it was because I'm quite sure there's
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: things like that now right with your bills and things.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: There's no one actually running the department as far as
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: going through it. They just putting the algorithm in that.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: And if it says violated, you didn't pay for this textbook,
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: And that was one of the criticisms that they had
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: with the Doze Department Department of Government Efficiency. The algorithm
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: just went in and looked for numbers being off and
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: where there could be some cuts.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Now we made a billion dollars in cuts. We didn't
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: know it was for homeless children. We just saw where
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: we didn't think those numbers added up, and then we
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: had to go back and fix some stuff.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: But that's all a lot of this is is I
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: know it just Yeah, even in my life when certain
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: things by sometimes I mailed things. Yeah, and I did
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: mail it, and it did seem I've been able to
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: call the bank or call the office and they take
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: it off. But by in their computer it said add
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: the fifty dollars to the next view.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Your payment got here on the third. We issued the
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: notices the morning of the third, and so you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: your payment got opened around two o'clock that afternoon.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: My bad.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: Yeah, So hopefully it's just something simple like that. I've
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: read somewhere his brother was saying, but it was just
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: a mistake, And when I was thinking about it, it
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: could have been just as simple as that. Now that
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: we've given so much the AI, they don't really necessarily
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: tell you we're going to cut off something.
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: It just goes off. You know, you don't get that call.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: It could have been something as simple as if you
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: don't contact us to say you don't want this subscription
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: to our concierge exclusive service every month, we charge you
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: for it. I don't even know you're getting charged. They
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: send it to you in an email that goes to
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: your spam yeah, or the subject line is hey read
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: this right and I'm not.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Reading Victor Woman. Yama had an issue with the NBA
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: posting Happy Birthday to Carl Malone last week. He feels
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: like that the issues that people have brought up again
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: about Carl Malone regarding underage pregnancy, where it seems I
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: don't know if Carl was ever arrested. It seems that
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: Carl when he was maybe nineteen got a young lady
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: nineteen twenty got a young lady that was maybe fourteen pregnant,
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: and Victor Women. Yama felt like the NBA is not
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: showing enough class by continuing to keep which as I
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: just said, I'm quite sure all NBA player's birthday are
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: probably just in the system the system, and the system
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: just sends birthday birth today today.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Carl Malone left shrimp they have those stocked and Joe
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Barry Carroll.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: It just sends out like Luther McElroy. Should Carl be
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: criticized by Victor for this?
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Up now? Not to be insensitive, but I'm sure the
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: child was born to Carl Malone when he was nineteen
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: or twenty in this fourteen year old woman allegedly that
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: he had a child when is probably older than Victor
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: women Yama right now? Am I correct?
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: Well, Carl is sixty two, so the kid most likely
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: is around forty and Victor is nineteen twenty. Why don't
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: he ask the kids.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Twenty Victor is twenty one while he has a child, Like,
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: excuse me, sir, how do you feel?
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: How do you feel about your day about I'm just well,
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: the family, I know with the case. The family didn't
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: go to criminal court. They accepted that this happened, and
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: they Carl, I guess, financially supported the kid at that time.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: Go ahead, bad producer.
- 1:09:37Speaker 16: No.
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: I was just wondering where did it, Where would this
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: come from? From Victor being as young as a young player, and.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Then it's this simple. The NBA put it out on
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: x Twitter. Someone reposted it, and they made put a
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: little meme on that post. Victor retweeted that retweeted their
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: response with the original tweet. That's all. That's all that's happened.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: There's been no other statement, there's been nothing. Victor didn't
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: say anything else. And it was just a retweet because
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: we just saw how it's a retweet. But because people
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: saw that he retweeted it. Hmm, that's where this whole
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: story that retweeted get you every time, won't it. I
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: don't know that tweet did and retweet well, and that's
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: what that's.
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: Where that would come from with him, And like I say,
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: he's just on the X and he's.
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: Just well the story, this story about Carl Malone did
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: pop up again.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: Well, I know the story has a month or two ago,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: you know, where old things are being brought up.
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: At any point, any people brought up Anthony Ane comment
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: about Lindsay Lohan when she was like seventeen. I think
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: he did an interview or made a comment on the
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: show where he was like he liked him young, and
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: you know, at the time, I guess he thought it
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: was funny. But what Lindsay is what forty now? Yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: so twenty three years later, that's back in the news cycle.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: And she hadn't done some drugs from what I heard.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: I heard so.
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: Once you give your way to any kind of fame,
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: stardom or calls, people are planning on bringing up anything
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: like that to try to discourage take away from and.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I did tracked out of track and how many times
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: I mean, the whole thing from Cosby all that it's
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: Some of it is more.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Violent and criminal than others, because it's a whole. We're
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: gonna go nothing from any point in your life is
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: over and all.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I keep wondering, why is it that like a Victor
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Womben Yama would feel the need to delve into the
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: political so with something that was so he saw anything
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: beyond that, he retweeted it. But sometimes you don't need
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: to retweet things.
- 1:12:34Speaker 10: I mean to me, you gotta be he should have
- 1:12:36Speaker 10: someone within his team or somebody should have set him.
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: Well, now we can't take that man's how he takes
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: a story.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: Once you figure it out, true, I give you that's
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: discovered America or the Americas seven hundred years ago. And
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: when generations he come by and decide, well, we don't want.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Not to name. When he discovered America, it was already
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: some folks standing here, like what them boats doing coming
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: this way? Or when do we call them things coming
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: this way? We hadn't named the boats yet.
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: So and I'm quite sure were in Victor's world just
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: like any young world. He's in basketball. Karl Malone is
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: one of the greats of all time. It could have
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: come up in conversation. Somebody asked, man, did you hear
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: about what car Man? They said, Carl had.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: A what that's crazy.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: We'll be back more to sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: Don't go awayne board of the.

- 1:17:09Speaker 6: She's thirty five. Soldier Boy is thirty five as well.
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: Glory Laughlin is sixty one. She got caught up in
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: the scandal school scandal five six, seven years ago.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: What did the operation blue What was it.
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: Blue Chip? Or now it was it blue Chip or
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: something like something like that. She's sixty one. Daniel White
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: is fifty six. Willie Green, the head coach of the Pelicans, Yes,
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: the Pelican, is forty four. Man new Gerobili is forty eight.
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: Actress Joey King is twenty six. Gina Rodriquez is forty one.
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: Hillary Swink is fifty one. I had a large debate
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: last night Lawrence Fishburn versus Denzel Washington.
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: As far as who would be one or two?
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: One or two.
- 1:18:22Speaker 9: Between those two?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: You want to answer now.
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: Well, after the birthday, okay, give you a little time
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: another day. We had a whole after the clock in
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: after the you know, oh it is clock in birthdays.
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: But Lawrence Fishburn a little battle between already I know
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: one that. But Lawrence Fishburn is sixty four years old.
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: A Fox is sixty one. Lisa Crudro is from Friends,
- 1:18:49Speaker 6: She's sixty two. Jamie Presley, the actress is forty eight.
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: Terry Crews fifty seven. On Schwartzen Nigger is seventy eight.
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: Dak Prescott how about them?

- 1:19:03Speaker 6: How about them? Cowboy thirty two years old. Demiko o'rians
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: the head coach of the Texans. Wait wait, Dak is
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: thirty two, been in the league fifteen years. Demiko Rans
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: is forty Elik neighbors of the Giants in New York
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: Giants is twenty two.
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: Doug Collins.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: I think Doug Carlins did not get enough credit for
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: his coaching ability in his career. For me, kind of undervalued.
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: To Colins seventy four years of age. And who else
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: do we have here? Glorilla is twenty six and for
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: some of you that are my agent up, maybe even
- 1:19:45Speaker 6: Comanche Gregg's age. You remember when America was about saving children,
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: not dogs, not cats. They were about saving children. The
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: ads were about sending money to save children children. Sally
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: Struthers is who led that whole sponsorship. It was the
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: face of it was Sally Struthers. She was actress from
- 1:20:18Speaker 6: all in the family. She was the spokesperson for Save
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: the Children. And those were the ads and they ran
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: for a long long time, most of my teenage years.
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: Now it's save a dog. But back when we used
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: to care about each other, we were trying to save humans.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: He said, Back when we cared about saving humans, are
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: not dogs, or as they call it now, the dark ages.
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: But she's seventy eight years old, as Sally Struthers. Do
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: you remember those commercials?
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, it.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Was for what like ten cents a day?
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: Yeah, today you can sponsor try it would just tell
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: you like get a kid fed the three sense of
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: three cents a day or something like that. So now
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: you don't see a lot of those commercials anymore because
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: even at all at all you don't see because who.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Wants to feed kids when there's so many hungry dogs
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: that deserve human great food that you store in the refrigerator?
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: Clock and work Vic Kenny Vi Okay, okay, what becmes?
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Why not?
- 1:21:29Speaker 18: You know?
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: I mean, you know, try and everything else, might as
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: well go go down that road sports Jack, click on.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: And if you had to pick one of the actors, unquestionably,
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: who you're gonna go with? Baps M.
- 1:21:44Speaker 9: I'm gonna say Denzel because he's better than than fishburn.
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: You feel the better.
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: Yeah, but I got a guy.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: Okay. It was just a matter of who I think
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: is better. Hey, I'm going with Denzel, Okay, Lawrence fishburn Okay, Okay,
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: more range.
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: And I went with Lawrence Fishburne too because of range,
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: just based on range, val value range he displayed.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: He's just not that Denzel doesn't have it, just the
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: projects that he chooses doesn't display as much range as
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: the projects that Lawrence Fishburns did. Y'all throw out any
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: other names that possibly could challenge Denzil or him?
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: Yeah, a lot of names.
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: To me, I think Sam Jackson has more range than
- 1:22:29Speaker 9: both both of them.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: He has more hair pieces in both.
- 1:22:37Speaker 10: I mean, I mean seriously, though, I mean that's that's
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: what who I would think if you would look at
- 1:22:42Speaker 10: that those two, I mean those three, I mean, in
- 1:22:46Speaker 10: my opinion, but I would have threw Sam Jackson out
- 1:22:48Speaker 10: there because just the the movies he's done, from comedic
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: to serious. Have we ever really seen.
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: Denzel in.
- 1:23:01Speaker 9: Comedies? Are a lot of comedic stuff in the maybe
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: in the beginning.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: No, that's why that's what we said.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: Between those two Rangeel Denzel is a better actor in
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: being Denzel, but he does I'm gonna tell you one thing.
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: What you mean, Pa, know that there are certain actors
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: that are extraordinary. So Denzel is an extraordinary.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Actor, but you can always see him being himself in.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: A certain role the training day, Malcolm X's Glory Equalizer.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: He's the same kind of whereas certain people like a
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Samuel l They've been different things. Larry Finchburn has been
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: different things throughout his career.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: Even yeah when he was a kid.
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: So far, but two for two, Denzel for two, Lawrence
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: for two. We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right.
- 1:24:08Speaker 8: After this, don't go away word of the Sports Jock
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: Show with Wayne Dandius coming up next.

- 1:24:40Speaker 28: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:24:41Speaker 28: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.

- 1:24:46Speaker 2: about you?
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:24:49Speaker 28: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:24:51Speaker 28: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:24:53Speaker 28: survived without me. That's what I made an appointment with

- 1:25:04Speaker 28: leave my family that bills or benefits.

- 1:25:26Speaker 13: or bills dot com.
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: My mom has taken up going to the park to
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: practice yoga. My dad's going to a club, but not
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: a book club, a salsa club. Finding new hobbies comes
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: with age. My mom has started getting lost and not
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: knowing where she's going.

- 1:26:03Speaker 2: And now back to the sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:11Speaker 25: La lounge've been given full access to the players Lounge
- 1:26:17Speaker 25: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sports Shop, Chum, I'm the sports shock,
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: Wayne can t Uh. We'll do action next time because
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: that was a big that took a long time last night.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: Who was the biggest action star between Tom Cruise and
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: Sebaster stallone?
- 1:26:57Speaker 12: It was a.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Rusus Willis who brought your action that I'm saying we
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: had no You know it is for them to love
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: usdit for doing his own stunts.
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: I love it.
- 1:27:14Speaker 14: Well.
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: You gotta give Sevester credit for writing Rocky and Rainbow,
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: So you know, next time listen, we'll see what's going
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: on any any movie that can make as much as
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: it did at the box office, and the dialogue is.
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: That's what I'm going with.
- 1:27:36Speaker 23: Uh.
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: El Duncan ESPN said she isn't walking back her comments
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: where she was with the w n b A All
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: Star Games. She made the comment about the game at
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: halftime that it it needed more d and she referenced
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: that it's like a girl's trip can coon. But she
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: says she is not walking back on her comments that
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: I guess we're going to have to adjust to her
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: and the way that she delivers her.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: Lines.
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: And I don't know that we were mad at her lines.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: As much as it seems one sided, one sided in outrage.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: If a man men make those blunders, sometimes it's just
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: a man making a blunder when they still want him fired.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: You know, it's a couple of times the camera just
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: kept rolling and he's not even actually saying it to
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: the audience, and they've pounded the table. He needed to
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: be fired. And I think that when various men have
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: stood on that same platform and said, well, no, no,
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: you're just going to have to get used to me
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: delivering colorful language. Who was the the gentleman that had
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: to sit down and apologize or something because he described
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: someone as uh it was some description he made and
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: they were like, no, you can't describe them that way.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: It was recently, and he he couldn't stand on. No,
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: I was just being colorful with my language. Everybody got offended,
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: like you can't be colorful, and he was like, but
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: I'm a sports reporter, and everybody's like nah, nah, and
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: now she's saying that, no, I'm a sports reporter, I'll
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: be colorful and everybody's gonna go with it. Command she
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: bad producer. Where y'all standing on this? Because I kept well,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: I mean pretty much I knew they were ESPN. ABC
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: is not gonna go after L. She's been solid, great
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: ratings and this new show.
- 1:29:55Speaker 10: They're really pushing this, this new show with her and
- 1:29:57Speaker 10: the other two ladies, and they want this show to
- 1:30:00Speaker 10: make it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: And so I was asking, not what they were going
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: to do. I was asking your personal sense. I'm just
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: saying I just know. I'm just saying it doesn't bother me.
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: What So Ryan Clark can get on there and say
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: it's like training camp, we need more.
- 1:30:14Speaker 9: P I mean he should be like you said, it
- 1:30:19Speaker 9: shouldn't be outrage for him or her.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: So as far as what wh when you come to
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: life now, I just want to make sure I know,
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: my friend, you don't actually have any moral stance of
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: life so long as somebody doesn't. Well, no, because I've
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: said on this show and you can justify murder, so
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: there is no line that you don't feel like should
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: be crossed.
- 1:30:41Speaker 9: I mean not in less sense with L what she said.
- 1:30:44Speaker 9: I mean she was just having fun. It shouldn't and
- 1:30:47Speaker 9: it shouldn't be made a big deal if.
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: I was just having fun.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: But see we were going.
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: On the air.
- 1:30:56Speaker 9: Now, yeah, it's not the same thing because he wasn't
- 1:30:58Speaker 9: pulling them in there with me.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: He did. Don't think that's the same.
- 1:31:01Speaker 9: Yeah, he wouldn't. I mean we're talking about on the edge.
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: Look at that.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Having the pressing the button on his desk. That ain't Yeah, okay, okay,
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: so here we goes and joke. I'm just saying that
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: that's not That's not the same situation.
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I mean we would be comparing this to something somebody
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: has said on the air to a scrambles, he throws
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: the ball and Tyreek catches that thing one handed like
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: he gripping some big melons. That's that's coming up to
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: the line and you talk to the line. Wait, hold
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: you no, D No D was one acceptable, but up
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: to the line is like some big melons. I mean,
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: that's what I'm saying. If we're not going to make
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: sexual references, if we're not going to reference body parts
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: and human anatomy because it's sexist when it's directed at women,
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: then let's just eliminate it altogether. Well, and I'm with
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: that if you're not gonna it was. In other words,
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: if and it should be a problem for a guy,
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: right And so conversely, if we're going to hold men
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: to the standard and find them and suspend them without
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: but we have to show that if it shut their
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: shows down, we.
- 1:32:23Speaker 9: Gotta do case study.
- 1:32:24Speaker 10: If time somebody starts hollering about something, a male color
- 1:32:29Speaker 10: analyst or someone say, hey, just remind them.
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: Well, El Duncan said.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: This, and you just saying but that's not life, though,
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: But I'm gonna remind you. This is where America, to me,
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: just sports y'all has gotten off the rail justification for
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: wrong by using other wrong. It's the old two wrongs
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: don't make a right. You sitting around doing whatever you
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: want to do and feeling like you justified because somebody
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: else used to get you punched in the face, coming
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: home telling my mom I robbed the I robbed the
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: store because Big Kenny said, let's rob the store was
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: definitely gonna be a ten piece lemon pepper wet.
- 1:33:22Speaker 6: Because that's not a justification. She wrong, the man before
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: her was wrong, and the one and that's just and
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: and that's what she tries to use as a justification.
- 1:33:35Speaker 6: He has built the whole company off as long as
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: I can find a reason why I allowed the back
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: flap flipping the dad went right to trying to find
- 1:33:50Speaker 6: some episode where somebody else got away with it.
- 1:33:54Speaker 9: Yeah, your case, you find the case with someone won
- 1:33:57Speaker 9: the case prior to that.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: With that and that low trickling water effect where I
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: killed him because he killed him and I rate. So
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: let's color victual cycle. So when do you ever stop?
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: So let's get colorful with language. Oh, look at this
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: NBA court. There's so many colored guys out there. It's
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: like a cotton feel murmur that's a great basket and
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: she has a great But where's the when I'm going
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: into bootstember the field and you're saying basically no rules.
- 1:34:40Speaker 7: I'm not saying there's no rue, but what is the rule?
- 1:34:43Speaker 7: That's you?
- 1:34:44Speaker 6: You'll let me know when I break it. Yeah, and
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: that's that's what I'm trying to tell me. But that
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: is the most that's a that's a barbaric society.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: But that's that's when that's women coming after me, and
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: it investigates, Like you said, outrages.
- 1:35:00Speaker 9: They're not coming after her as.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: They would men.
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: And my thing it once again is like I said,
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: I'm just going by.
- 1:35:07Speaker 10: If down the road, if they want to come at
- 1:35:10Speaker 10: a guy for saying something on ESPN and ESPN does
- 1:35:15Speaker 10: something terminate him or something, they're gonna have to write
- 1:35:17Speaker 10: a check. And once you let me go because you
- 1:35:19Speaker 10: didn't come at the l or Mina on their crew joke,
- 1:35:24Speaker 10: So you're gonna lie.
- 1:35:26Speaker 7: I mean, that's that's how I look at it.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: So I have to wait till my mama get offended
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: by o Cho Senko before we start policing offensive content.
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: We can't just start today, right right. I mean, I
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: know you out there, I know you set the standard
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: of what of what that is.
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I can set the standard today by invoking Dunan
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: to be suspended.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: Didn't we all have to wait to do this again?
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: Didn't we set the standard? Didn't we already we already
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: said it with.
- 1:35:59Speaker 7: You or line?
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: She she she crossed that line, okay, and it wasn't
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: my line. That's what I'm saying. The standard is already said.
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: She has not been fired, she hasn't been reprimanded at all.
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: So she did not.
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: I don't care what she did, cross the same she
- 1:36:22Speaker 6: crossed the line of the media. My media training tells
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: me that I can't say that. My media training to
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: call football games and be on front on desk says
- 1:36:36Speaker 6: that I can't make that kind of joke. I can't
- 1:36:41Speaker 6: tell you how nice of butt or booty or anything
- 1:36:46Speaker 6: has to do with Angel Reese.
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: At all, that that wasn't the joke. Excuse me that
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: no one made, one made And let's go but see,
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: but let's go back to let's go back to Brett
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: Musburger Women, when Aj mccerrn's mom he kept just his
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: now wife. And but no, we go all the way
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: back to Donald Sterling having a private conversation that had
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: nothing to do.
- 1:37:13Speaker 7: With the NBA. But still go back along the way.
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: I'm telling you my media training, just like if you
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: I put you on the broadcast, you're not supposed to
- 1:37:25Speaker 6: go in that bag.
- 1:37:28Speaker 7: That's what they fired half of ESPN for for having
- 1:37:33Speaker 7: to go now.
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: Because what.
- 1:37:39Speaker 7: If you're gonna let this go, then nobody should ever
- 1:37:41Speaker 7: be fired.
- 1:37:42Speaker 9: That's that's all I'm saying. Just go back to it,
- 1:37:45Speaker 9: run it back.
- 1:37:46Speaker 7: Well that that's.
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: Because they haven't haven't said anything.
- 1:37:51Speaker 18: They have.
- 1:37:52Speaker 6: They haven't put out a statement or anything. As you
- 1:37:55Speaker 6: as you know, in life, sometimes we forget things. It's
- 1:37:58Speaker 6: not on ESPN, it's on the four of us and
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: anybody else that would like to go up there and
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: tell ESPN we don't want it and then get rid
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: of it. Because the people decided that the NFL was
- 1:38:13Speaker 6: hitting too hard, not the player. The people decided that
- 1:38:21Speaker 6: they didn't want basketball players playing like the bad boys
- 1:38:24Speaker 6: of the eighties. Yeah, the people decided that baseball was
- 1:38:30Speaker 6: going too slow.
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: Wants beat it up to a pitch clock. Now that's
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: the people that ain't got nothing to do with on
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: us decide listen to the people. I bring up topics
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: on the show that I think the people might be
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: talking about today or they were talking about yesterday. I
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: didn't come down on here talking about SpongeBob sweatpants because
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: I figured that wasn't in the news. So people drive everything.
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: I just was wondering, where are the people who ran,

- 1:42:19Speaker 6: The Tempa Bay Bucks have place their draft pick Desmond
- 1:42:26Speaker 6: Watson on the non football injury list. It got it
- 1:42:31Speaker 6: trying to get him down. They drafted him. He was
- 1:42:33Speaker 6: for sixty four out of Florida and they got him
- 1:42:39Speaker 6: down the four forty nine. So he is making progress.
- 1:42:42Speaker 6: But what are they what are they expecting? What are
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: they really expecting? Well, they knew it was going to
- 1:42:47Speaker 6: be a project, but you can't how long when you're
- 1:42:51Speaker 6: that big you do.
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: To invest The dude weighed for it in sixty five pounds.
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: Well where do you worded him'll be at? Well, if
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: he's on the non football that means that gives them
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: what another eight weeks? Six eight weeks, so maybe I
- 1:43:05Speaker 2: can get him down to maybe four point thirty by then.
- 1:43:11Speaker 6: See where he's at. I mean it's a slow trickle.
- 1:43:16Speaker 6: I mean because I got to get you in shape,
- 1:43:19Speaker 6: which means I gotta feed you. See, it's hard when
- 1:43:22Speaker 6: you're trying. It's easy to lose weight when you don't
- 1:43:25Speaker 6: have to go be right energetic, effishing, because you need
- 1:43:32Speaker 6: food for that need card the things you need to
- 1:43:34Speaker 6: do that, it's also the things that's keeping weight on you.
- 1:43:39Speaker 6: That's why it's mostly done in the off season, because
- 1:43:42Speaker 6: I wanted to ask what happened to off season? So
- 1:43:45Speaker 6: what happens to sticking with the girl that got you
- 1:43:47Speaker 6: to the dance?
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Me? Being four hundred plus bounds got me drafted, didn't it?
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: Because I keep people off people. That's that's what I'm
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: good but you.
- 1:43:55Speaker 6: But you wear down in the game, and now you're
- 1:43:58Speaker 6: playing again, we'll play you four place fashional players and
- 1:44:02Speaker 6: your whole I have a limit to In college, I
- 1:44:05Speaker 6: can have eight d linemen. Right in the pros, I'm
- 1:44:09Speaker 6: only a loot at five. Remember the roster, so I
- 1:44:13Speaker 6: got to be better conditioned. Right, Typically in a game,
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: you know you can only dress forty six people. So
- 1:44:24Speaker 6: in that forty six, based on who you're playing, I
- 1:44:28Speaker 6: got to dress four linemen. If I can only play
- 1:44:30Speaker 6: you two plays here and there, then you're not an
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: accept right, And that's the problem. But he's a big man.
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: He takes up a lot of space. I always knew
- 1:44:46Speaker 6: he's gonna have to lose one hundred pounds when he
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: was one hundred whole pounds. Yeah, because imagine if he
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: was four when you when you weigh him in March,
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: he was for sixty four. If I took one hundred
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: pounds off of you, you still be the biggest d
- 1:45:02Speaker 6: lineman in the league one hundred pounds from now.
- 1:45:06Speaker 7: Yeah. So this is a project.
- 1:45:09Speaker 6: They might have to end up just you know, sitting
- 1:45:12Speaker 6: him the whole year, because putting him out there this
- 1:45:17Speaker 6: way is gonna be gonna get hurt somebody. They're gonna
- 1:45:20Speaker 6: go to cutting in. It's a little harder. Yeah, I
- 1:45:23Speaker 6: can imagine it.
- 1:45:25Speaker 7: Great, like you knew what you bought.
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: I don't know if they were being I understand it's
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: a project, but it's like how long are you how
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: long are they going to actually invest in this? Because
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: I always think with the NFL, when you're drafting the guy,
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: like can he contribute right away? You don't really have
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: time for, not a whole lot of time for to
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: spend a year with this one guy not on the
- 1:45:54Speaker 2: field and trying to mold him into Yeah, that time
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: and place ball timeline than it does NFL timeline.
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: Right, man, But you're what you're imagining as a year
- 1:46:10Speaker 7: from now.
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess. And and maybe that's because we don't
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: see those sensibilities in football anymore. It used to be
- 1:46:21Speaker 2: that way with the quarterback. We'll draft him and number
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: one and he'll sit for three years.
- 1:46:26Speaker 7: And I don't think.
- 1:46:27Speaker 6: I think this guy might have been maybe a fourth
- 1:46:29Speaker 6: round Yeah, he wasn't in the first three rounds. I
- 1:46:31Speaker 6: don't want to say, maybe a fifth, sixth rounder. Just
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: a big human that they're looking to try to get
- 1:46:38Speaker 6: some weight off of. And they're gonna have to get
- 1:46:40Speaker 6: him under that four hundred to have any chance of
- 1:46:45Speaker 6: having any production.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: He was undrafted, okay, so they didn't even waste a
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: lot of no money on it. So we're gonna win win. Yeah.
- 1:46:54Speaker 7: Hey, Fluffy, come in.
- 1:46:55Speaker 9: He's a sub zero He for refrigerating and he does
- 1:47:00Speaker 9: subs zero version.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: Hey, fact boy, come in here, let me see. Can
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: you move your face? Lance Stevenson. He revealed last week
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: that the only regret from his NBA career, he says, uh,
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: once I got paid, I didn't keep that hunger and
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: the first time I had to for the Lance stand
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: up give him a salute. So many times I've just
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: described this kind of idea to people that there's certain
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: things you can't gauge about an athlete. So you can't
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: just throw everybody and say, oh, they were a bomb,
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: So you don't know how guys are going to act
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: to fame and money and basically saying I was Lance Stevenson,
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: the dog, second round pick or undrafted and hard defail
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: and then command you. Greg wrote me to check.
- 1:48:05Speaker 9: And many get many pity on the days.
- 1:48:10Speaker 7: And you know, talking getting Charlotte, getting that skin off
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: the back of my heel. Yeah, you know, now you.
- 1:48:17Speaker 9: Saw getting the fungus off.
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: Gay. They're talking about like playing for Charlotte because he
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: signed he signed a big contract with Charlotte.
- 1:48:24Speaker 6: I think he was going the next year. I think
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: he's yeah, I don't know when he's talking. But there
- 1:48:29Speaker 6: was a Land Stevenson that was a working man guy
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: that hadn't got the big bucks. And it happens the
- 1:48:38Speaker 6: first round picks. I've seen guys, the thirst was quenched.
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: Charlotte went to one of those salons and they just
- 1:48:49Speaker 6: took him out.
- 1:48:49Speaker 7: You said, how many times?
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Now do we see guys twenty six, twenty five, twenty
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: seven retire a lot? They just well, well and not
- 1:48:59Speaker 2: not always voluntarily.
- 1:49:01Speaker 7: Well some of them.
- 1:49:05Speaker 10: What less Stevens is saying that they got the check
- 1:49:08Speaker 10: and then they realized, like Buddy from the Hawks that time,
- 1:49:14Speaker 10: the young man from Stanford had to look like one
- 1:49:17Speaker 10: of the kids from Fat Albert had the afro.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: Josh.
- 1:49:20Speaker 9: He was another Josh, not Josh, the other Josh. He
- 1:49:23Speaker 9: had Josh Winfield.
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: He was like a point guard. Well he was a
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: guard to dogs. Yeah, he got the money.
- 1:49:29Speaker 9: He turned into dot com guy, he's in the You
- 1:49:33Speaker 9: know what I'm saying, Well, I mean, and.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: I guess sometimes maybe that's just our sensibilities projecting onto
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: these guys that everybody wants to be a Hall of Famer.
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: Some dudes cool with I played three seasons in the
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: league and now I'm I'm you know, I've done all
- 1:49:51Speaker 2: I wanted to do. Not everybody wants to be Michael Jackson.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: Some people cool writing blue Swede shoes.
- 1:49:58Speaker 7: And that's you know, I just man Freddy.
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm just Freddie Jackson. I'm just you know me.
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: That night you know what I mean.

- 1:52:44Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sportshock Shower. I'm the Sportshock Wayne Gan.
- 1:52:47Speaker 6: Do you've got two incidents in the last week up
- 1:52:49Speaker 6: in Yankee Stadium? Uh Bands called in the Yankee Stadium
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: bathroom having sex.
- 1:52:56Speaker 7: Uh, they was escorted out and banned.
- 1:52:59Speaker 6: And then they found a video of some fans having
- 1:53:03Speaker 6: some kind of sex act up in the actual stands
- 1:53:06Speaker 6: during the game.
- 1:53:07Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:53:07Speaker 6: They also have been banned from Yankee Stadium. As I said,
- 1:53:12Speaker 6: people just don't seem to have any kind.
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: Of moral was it?
- 1:53:16Speaker 6: Was it a social media challenge? You people that was
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: doing in that Yankee bathroom is nasty. They have been
- 1:53:23Speaker 6: too a sports bathroom. Some of the nasty. You think
- 1:53:27Speaker 6: you're gonna catch something.
- 1:53:28Speaker 2: And you think you're gonna catch something just using the bathroom.
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: And I'm a man, and I would I'd rather just
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: take my chances in the parking lot on some of
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: you know, man, keep an eye out for me, make
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: sure ain't nobody. Then the cops ain't coming because I'm
- 1:53:48Speaker 2: in the bathroom and at Yankee Stadium. Come on, you
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: seen the subway, this is this is the subway times
- 1:53:55Speaker 2: ten in the bathroom and Yankee Stadium and you and
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: her thought, A, you know what right here right now
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: makes sense? Nasty, nasty in more ways than one deg seated.
- 1:54:12Speaker 28: Uh.
- 1:54:12Speaker 6: What we have we have robot bunnies, big Kenny, you said,
- 1:54:16Speaker 6: are being deployed in Florida. Get some pythons.
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: You know, python is an invasive species, and they become
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: the number one a PEX predator in Florida. Now they're
- 1:54:30Speaker 2: not native to Florida, they were introduced there. So it's
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: really big concerned that changing the uh, the the what
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: the environment, and the environment consists of what they would
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: call marsh rabbits and these pythons. And now the way
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: they would track these pythons is they had pons with
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: rabbits in them. But that requires people to go out
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: and clean the pen and feed the rabbits. Now rabbits
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: that you're using to bake pythons, we got to feed
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: them and clean their pin so in an effort to
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: avoid that experience, and I can't reuse them. No python,
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: get them, no, no, And they ain't got no trackers
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: in them like that. So they put trackers and they
- 1:55:13Speaker 2: make these rabbits have heat signatures like real rabbits and
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: their robot rabbits that they just put in the marsh
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: and hopefully, and they haven't got any data yet that
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: suggests that the the snakes are attracted to the robot
- 1:55:29Speaker 2: rabbits like they spray them with the robot I mean
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: with the rabbit scent, and they're just waiting to see
- 1:55:35Speaker 2: how many get I guess eaten.
- 1:55:37Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: At least one hundred players face penalty over super Bowl
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: ticket selling. They was selling. They are alloted tickets for
- 1:55:46Speaker 6: last year Super Bowl. They have been caught. And this
- 1:55:51Speaker 6: is across the thirty two team. They say close to
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: one hundred players are facing penalty. I think the penalty
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: they won't be able to buy super Bowl tickets for
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: the next two Super Bowls if they're in the league,
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: and the ones that are still in the league will
- 1:56:08Speaker 6: be find the amount.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: Of double the amount of face value. Wait wait, not twins.
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: So what you're saying is so what you're saying is
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: like I got super Bowl tickets to that Super Bowl.
- 1:56:27Speaker 6: Here it is players who violated the rule will be
- 1:56:30Speaker 6: fined one and a half times to face value and
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: lose their alloted tickets to the next two Super Bowl
- 1:56:37Speaker 6: If they're playing in the game. The players will have
- 1:56:39Speaker 6: the chance to purchase seats. They if you're in the game,
- 1:56:44Speaker 6: you won't be given free seats this year. You will
- 1:56:47Speaker 6: have to purchase those seats.
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: In this what exactly did they do to voalate.
- 1:56:53Speaker 7: Well, they have a.
- 1:56:54Speaker 6: League policy between the league and the players union that
- 1:56:58Speaker 6: you won't go sell all the tickets. You buy the
- 1:57:01Speaker 6: tickets and give them away. You can sell the ticket
- 1:57:04Speaker 6: to Big Kenny, but what you paid for, what you
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: paid for, you can't go profit off. And this is
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: nothing new, sports jock. I bortered my tickets so that
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: video game over there, that pool table behind me, that
- 1:57:25Speaker 6: pool table in my house, or barters. I only got
- 1:57:29Speaker 6: them if I could find somebody to barter the tickets with.
- 1:57:32Speaker 6: I never sold them. So two tickets, you know the game. Man, Hey,
- 1:57:38Speaker 6: I got a pool table. It was never a cash thing.
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: Slate nice wasn't illegal. Twin twin, I got these tickets get.
- 1:57:48Speaker 6: I only got them on them so I didn't get them.
- 1:57:50Speaker 6: I only got them if it was something to barter for.
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: And some people would have.
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: Now we we we talked about the bat flip earlier
- 1:58:01Speaker 2: and rules and regulations warnings. That's called rules and regulations
- 1:58:05Speaker 2: that they already put in place. We know that they exist.
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: We've had these meetings y'all and sent out the memo.
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: You updated the policies and why we steal risk being
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: suspended why do we steal risk having restrictions placed on
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: us for doing things that really pushing us.
- 1:58:21Speaker 6: You have you have just like the college locker room,
- 1:58:25Speaker 6: Kirb hurd Street, the coach Mike Locksley from Maryland, all
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: those stories about losing the locker room, which you still have.
- 1:58:32Speaker 6: Even in a pro locker room, you will find that
- 1:58:36Speaker 6: most of these kind of incidents, the gambling, the selling
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: of tickets, you still have. Based on the sports world,
- 1:58:47Speaker 6: the have and the have nots, meaning that there's somebody
- 1:58:51Speaker 6: on the Lakers that's going to play next year for
- 1:58:53Speaker 6: eight hundred thousand, but then Luca and Lebron are going
- 1:58:58Speaker 6: to make forty million apiece. So in that actual frameworker
- 1:59:03Speaker 6: of the world is have and have not, So that
- 1:59:07Speaker 6: eight hundred thousand dollar person is in a world where
- 1:59:11Speaker 6: these guys are sneezing at his salary away. He is
- 1:59:19Speaker 6: trying to figure out different avenues and a lot of
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: times he understands, even if he plays well, he's still
- 1:59:25Speaker 6: kind of locked. He would be lucky in his whole
- 1:59:29Speaker 6: career to make what they make this year this year,
- 1:59:32Speaker 6: So he starts trying to figure out how to flip it.
- 1:59:36Speaker 6: Sometimes it ends up on the criminal side, the drug game,
- 1:59:41Speaker 6: like the kid from Auburn probably found himself in that
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: a couple of weeks ago, selling tickets, running health schemes, gambling, yeah,
- 1:59:51Speaker 6: the draft, all that kind of stuff. Because and if
- 1:59:54Speaker 6: you ever watched the story, it's usually the guys that's
- 1:59:57Speaker 6: more from the middle down.
- 2:00:00Speaker 7: It's never Jared Goff.
- 2:00:02Speaker 6: No, No, every knows said it's never, because we said, now,
- 2:00:08Speaker 6: it's the guy that's mixing matching, because I'm still living
- 2:00:11Speaker 6: day to day life.
- 2:00:14Speaker 7: Around people who are making forty times.
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: More than me. Eight hundred thousand a year seemed like
- 2:00:22Speaker 2: a lot when you and it is a lot.
- 2:00:24Speaker 7: And it's a blessing to life.
- 2:00:26Speaker 6: But when you're in the locker room with some man
- 2:00:29Speaker 6: Patrick Mahomes making fifty million dollars, he makes eight hundred
- 2:00:32Speaker 6: thousand a week, you'll be lucky to make twelve your
- 2:00:35Speaker 6: whole career. He buyd the old line, you know, forty
- 2:00:42Speaker 6: thousand dollar trucks. So you just had an extra three
- 2:00:46Speaker 6: hundred grand just sitting around you. You're just gonna spend
- 2:00:50Speaker 6: my salary and tell the dude, there's some there's some
- 2:00:52Speaker 6: trucks out there, and that guy, he's that one, and
- 2:00:58Speaker 6: a lot of times when you're talking about the going
- 2:00:59Speaker 6: broke stories, those are the guys you're actually having them
- 2:01:03Speaker 6: for because they are trying to be so close to
- 2:01:09Speaker 6: be sitting here having a sandwich.
- 2:01:14Speaker 7: With a guy.
- 2:01:17Speaker 6: I gotta figure this out. Next thing, you know, they
- 2:01:19Speaker 6: calling Vic Kenny for a couple of keys. They calling
- 2:01:22Speaker 6: the bat producer. They want to bet on Sandford Evince
- 2:01:26Speaker 6: un l V or command Shee.
- 2:01:28Speaker 7: Greg.
- 2:01:29Speaker 6: They want to buy some radio equipment, hot hot radio equipment.
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: That's it, and I ain't got what two keys left.
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: So if you go and we are in the ocean,
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: the truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:01:45Speaker 21: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports jun
- 2:01:49Speaker 21: Show with Wayne Candy.

- 2:02:48Speaker 6: you for your contributions today. The Ocean, I mean, unfortunately
- 2:02:53Speaker 6: I'm having to skip it because we've got legends that
- 2:02:56Speaker 6: are passing away. Or pioneers that have have passed in
- 2:03:00Speaker 6: the last couple of days. And we would be wrong,
- 2:03:06Speaker 6: especially the three of us, Big Kenny, Bad Producer and myself,
- 2:03:13Speaker 6: if we didn't bring the Hulkster onto the ship. You
- 2:03:18Speaker 6: can sit here and you can deny it and tell
- 2:03:20Speaker 6: yourself it wasn't. But Hunclemania was a theme. It was
- 2:03:27Speaker 6: a thing that invaded lives of people who thought wrestling
- 2:03:32Speaker 6: was a joke, and it was a proven product to
- 2:03:38Speaker 6: lead the way to a billion dollar industry. It's on today.
- 2:03:46Speaker 6: You think it's awful, but they're still doing the same.
- 2:03:48Speaker 6: And Hulk Hogan was actually he might not be your
- 2:03:52Speaker 6: favorite wrestler or the greatest, but he was the face
- 2:03:58Speaker 6: that led the.
- 2:03:59Speaker 7: Way in hulko Mania.
- 2:04:04Speaker 24: And mean, Gene, brother, brother, and let me tell you, brother,
- 2:04:10Speaker 24: when the Hulk Sir runs wild, where the.
- 2:04:15Speaker 2: Pythons, all the Hulk comediacs will know that royal Rumble
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: is back me.
- 2:04:22Speaker 7: Gene by showing the pipehones.
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: What are you gonna do when the Hawk that runs
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: wild on you?
- 2:04:31Speaker 6: Come on, boy, Hunk, We hope you have a good
- 2:04:39Speaker 6: afternoon from the Sports Shot show a peace
