- 0:40Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made Bill began. Welcome,
- 0:44Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sport
- 0:49Shop Wayne Canny, Good morning. Tell you glad to be here with you
- 0:54with my crew as we always on Monday, exciting weekend of sport. You
- 1:00name the sport in other than something like maybe table tennis, you could catch
- 1:07it this weekend. I mean I flipped through a whole who knew the whipple
- 1:11ball League? I mean they're up there pitching the ball like ten feet away
- 1:17from the battle. It was like it's two people in the outfield. This
- 1:23is a professional league. I was sitting there fascinated of how sports is looking
- 1:27for any content that they will show you about everything. It went from pickleball
- 1:36to whipple ball to spike ball. I was all balled out. I didn't
- 1:40have no clue of what was going on. I didn't know the rules,
- 1:42but it was a whole pickleball for an hour. They cut away to the
- 1:48World Champions of whipple Ball, and then they moved on to spike ball.
- 1:53People just have come up. But then I had to realize, maybe this
- 1:57is how people felt one hundred and fifty years go when somebody said, hey,
- 2:00let's play some baseball. You never know how people really reacted. But
- 2:05wow, sports is at an all time high here and October HL is started.
- 2:10NBA is about ten days from their regular season kicking off, as you
- 2:15know college football, as you know WNBA playoffs finals yesterday. The NFL going
- 2:24strong, So it is a busy time, a busy season. Glad to
- 2:30be here with you. Monday Night Football tonight, Cowboys at Chargers. Both
- 2:35of these teams need a victory. The Cowboys coming off of that huge defeat
- 2:42last week again San Francisco. The Chargers just they just one of those teams
- 2:47that at one point they look like they're a Super Bowl champion type team and
- 2:53then the next time you see them and it's like you need to trade like
- 2:57eight people. But that's just what the Chargers look like. Sometimes it's part
- 3:00of him. We got some good stuff today, Tyreek Hill flipping with cameras.
- 3:05How much will that cost him? Hey, your creativity is at an
- 3:09all time high. And trust me, I was on the field with a
- 3:14man who hid a cell phone from five hours ago. It was like like
- 3:20seven am when Joe Hoan hit that cell phone underneath that posting and if y'all
- 3:24had seen him in the huddle when we because remember in football you're only going
- 3:29toward the post twice a game, so Joe knew we had to score on
- 3:34this end, and how he was a radic in the puddle about getting the
- 3:38ball, My man, Joe. So I've been on the field with some
- 3:40true characters. So we'll talk about Tyreek h and all that today on the
- 3:46show. Big Kenny the funny Man himself in the building. Good morning,
- 3:50man, She Greg is in the building. Man, She Greg is in
- 3:53the building. Good morning. I think you keep going coming to this thanks
- 4:00from parts of all Clahoma. Let me give it up. Let me let
- 4:02me give him And then everybody's clapping and the music's going and he's not walking
- 4:09out there. Keep it going for a cup. Maybe I didn't introduce him
- 4:14in the right way, and then somebody comes out with the stretch. You
- 4:16got to live with the the Rick Flair intro at dum you know, come
- 4:26out and from the Carolina South, sometimes North, sometimes Conway Bad producer Twitty,
- 4:38I did it like this, I did it like that. I did
- 4:41it the whiffle Ball bet Beastie Boys Ride Wiffleball said that that's the family show,
- 4:50his family show, the Beastie Boy Woffleball Bad. You know, they
- 4:54took that lyric out of their music like twenty like twenty twelve for something like
- 5:00that. They went back and pulled all of their offensive lyrics out of their
- 5:03music, so you're doing them a disc service. I was just picturing him
- 5:08at the what's the old comedic theater up in Harlem, the Apollo Apollo.
- 5:14I was the man coming out on some one joke in with the hands to
- 5:20the left. Everybody, I'm about one joke in the same man would have
- 5:26came and got him out Game one of they started going on Apollo. Game
- 5:31one of the NLCS tonight as well, the Diamondbacks taking on the Phillies.
- 5:36We'll talk from baseball as the show grinds on today. But we we have
- 5:44to start off, what what's the more annoying? Just to get into what
- 5:47you know the world and not to act like we're nom to the pop references
- 5:55pop culture of conversation. What's more annoying? Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey drama
- 6:04or Jada Pinkett Smith? With which one is? Which one? Real?
- 6:10Quick? No, No, I don't need a long Taylor Swift. Taylor
- 6:15Swift is more knowing, way more command you Gray, I'd say, Jada,
- 6:21Jada sports giant. I would say, Jada, let's see that's three
- 6:31to one, and you're not wrong about it, but it is it is,
- 6:38you know. If you could, if I could start a march and
- 6:43just ban a topic, it would be about Jada Pinkett Smith and heard her
- 6:48need to read table everything in her life, as though somebody is sitting around
- 6:55wondering what Jada Pinkett Smith is doing this morning? Did you hear she said?
- 6:59Jack got alopecia. I had alopecia? Who she said, Tupac had
- 7:05alopecia too, but he never discussed it. It was way worse than hers.
- 7:09I thought. Tupac passed away back in ninety seven, and he said
- 7:12he got it at like twenty years old, though, but he passed away
- 7:15at like twenty one. This is what I'm saying, supports, This is
- 7:19why she has to go. She's been caughting a lot. She said that
- 7:23she was some interviews go. I said that Tupac proposed to her at Rikers
- 7:28in nineteen ninety five. Seeing this is hold on, hold on, because
- 7:31we're not going to do that. We're not going to do the view.
- 7:34I didn't mean for it to bounce around. I'm saying that right there proves
- 7:38that first of all, you have to still be with all your good minds,
- 7:43signed mine and remembrance to even get back tall of that, to all
- 7:46that twenty eight years ago, thirty years ago, that lifetime stuff. I
- 7:54don't have any time for that. So I was just wondering because those over
- 7:57the last seven days has been like this story and that story. You click
- 8:01to see something else, and this pops. And that's why, hey,
- 8:05Taylor Swift, because they're stuffing her into football. Well, at least she
- 8:09shows up to the football game. She's dating somebody on a football field,
- 8:13or at least friends with I don't know what they're doing privately, but at
- 8:18least they're current. They're actually active people of the now, and they're just
- 8:24living their life and we're following them. Okay, Jada is dragging up stuff
- 8:30to hear her yes, which always leads to that I'm either dropping a book
- 8:35she or a lifetime six part series documentary or something like that. The book
- 8:41is coming though the book's already here. He's already that's what this is.
- 8:46A press junkt oh Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, that's the part
- 8:50that you're just creating content, not living the content, creating the content,
- 8:58and that's the young lady. Other night, I was calling the game between
- 9:01the highrem and Cartersville. Cartersville for you that don't know, Cartersville Purfer Hurricanes
- 9:07one of the great high school places. They're doing it in a big way
- 9:11up there the weight room. Imagine a high school with the ability to do
- 9:18the light show that you see at professional games when they score. They have
- 9:24their technology. It goes purple. I wanted to ask, is that the
- 9:28siren comes on that it is a hurricane warning. It's it's cool up there.
- 9:35It's facially because because when you put it in the context that I'm at
- 9:37a high school game, and for a second, because it was only my
- 9:43second time calling the game up there since I've been doing high school. At
- 9:46first, because it was raining and it was a little chili and when the
- 9:50announcer first said it and the noise were so clear, I was sitting there
- 9:56thinking, man, we got caught in a hurricane. It was dark,
- 10:00and then I remember, you got I wanted is that a safety issue?
- 10:09Because when they scored, no telling where you are in the stadium, and
- 10:11then it gets black and purple and everything. I mean, it's like there's
- 10:16no illumination for seeing or reading. It's just purple, and and you think,
- 10:22like all the sky don turn purple and were about to be flowing the
- 10:26os. It's fantastic. Gardisville Trevor Lawrence, who plays for the Jaguars.
- 10:33That's what high school. He went to Trevor Lawrence about I guess eight eight
- 10:39years now ago, and Auburn great Ronnie Brown went there as well, Hardville
- 10:46and him. But I was telling the young lady who was asking me,
- 10:52she was a ninth grader. She was trying to get into the media.
- 10:54I said, make sure if you want to do anything. She asked me
- 10:56for advice. Be a person who's living what they're talking. That's the best
- 11:01thing you can be. She wanted to be into sports media. Don't be
- 11:05the person who they're giving notes to and you're just reading them. Be a
- 11:09person who's going out to the game, who's involved in Then people can get
- 11:16that vibe from you. Your conversation will be different than someone just writing the
- 11:20notes down and handing you to read. Then you just kind of become more
- 11:28like the weather person. Right, You're a broadcaster at that point, right,
- 11:31So I said, be genuine about it. So that's what I'm saying.
- 11:33With the data, you're just bringing up old stuff to make something current.
- 11:37Now, at least Taylor and the Jason Kelsey systory, I mean,
- 11:41Travis Kelcey situation is happening in time, in real time. We'll be back
- 11:46with a big show for you. Sit back, relax, more to sports

- 13:16care at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty. She thought
- 13:22she'd never have a permanent place to call home. Before I was adopted,
- 13:26I felt like I wasn't enough. I had this hole in my heart,
- 13:31and I never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when my
- 13:35mom asked to adopt me, that hole was closed. It feels so normal
- 13:39now to say that I'm a part of this family. I am surrounded by
- 13:41love, I feel safe, and that hole inside of me is gone.
- 13:46I am whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am. The Dave

- 14:18But one day my granddaughter called and I realized I still had a lot to
- 14:22look forward to. I got referred to a psychiatrist who explained depression can happen
- 14:26to anyone. Getting help doesn't make me weak, it makes me stronger.

- 14:56no, no, no no. Now it's time to present the Jock of
- 14:58the Day. The Sports Jocktions taking it to a completely different level this year
- 15:03where we highlight an accolade that has taken their game to the next level.
- 15:18This is ales you. I'm about to hear coming through your feet. We'll
- 15:20blow your whoopa and fly your tweet up. Get up out your feet,
- 15:24give your feet a treat and you'll understand why this beat is that. Teach
- 15:28what to this what shock? Show them this what shock? Wayne came to.
- 15:31Good morning to you. It is right, it is early. It's
- 15:35chilly here in Atlanta, Georgia. We hope you had a great weekend.
- 15:39We hope your teams had success. A lot of upsets yesterday on Sunday.
- 15:45But we'll roll back to Thursday night football between the Broncos and the Chiefs.
- 15:52As we talked about it was early on. The Broncos put up a little
- 15:56challenge, but they have a lot of different things they're to have to fix
- 16:00out there. Sean Payton and Russell Wilson. I don't know that that combination
- 16:04is going to be able to work out a little long in the tooth too
- 16:08much successful Russell. Typically when you get a guy like a Russell Wilson at
- 16:12the point in which the Broncos brought him in, you switch kind of like
- 16:18Aaron Rodgers, similar to Tom Brady, that if you are going to bring
- 16:22those people in after a decade and after having Super Bowl and success, typically
- 16:30the organization will modify the offense to be whatever it was they were running.
- 16:36I don't know that Denver has taken those steps. I know that Sean Payton
- 16:40offense doesn't really fit Russell Wilson's skill set. Now we've had different comments from
- 16:48different people all the way back to the old Russell being married, looks distracted,
- 16:55looks comfortable, looks ready for his Hall of induction. He does seem
- 17:00to be in that little groove as far as when I look at his disposition
- 17:07that this is just kind of the walnuts on the Sunday. I didn't,
- 17:14you know, I didn't really come here to do too much, extend myself
- 17:18too far. And two or three four years of that five year deal I
- 17:22think he got was mostly guaranteed, so looked very comfortable. But in the
- 17:26game, Steve Smith, the former receiver for the Carolina Panthers, had some
- 17:32choice words to Jerry Judy said he went up to Jerry Judy, the star
- 17:36receiver for the Broncos, and was going to conversate, actually apologize and tell
- 17:41him that, you know, someone made my comments maybe I've made about you
- 17:45early on. We're a little rough. Jerry Judy, the young thundercat wasn't
- 17:52trying to hit it from the old guy, as Jerry Judy's put it.
- 17:57Jerry Judy says that, oh, my heads are lamee haters even cursed at
- 18:03Steve Smith. Former Bronco old lineman Mark Slareth even jumped in and went off
- 18:10on Jerry Judy after that, because you just with this generation and I even
- 18:17looked up the age of Steve Smith is forty four, Jerry Judy is twenty
- 18:21four, Mark Slareth is fifty seven. Jerry Judy is twenty four, so
- 18:26both of these guys are still in the age group where they could be Jerry
- 18:32Judy's father. Now. Looking at from that point of view, it's always
- 18:37interesting that it's just really a generation behind sees even me as someone to be
- 18:45an old head and have completely decided that whatever I have to say to maybe
- 18:52help you in the course of your career is old school in old school.
- 18:56Now, old school used to be about at the year period of time,
- 19:03not twenty that you know, you're not up today, but you're not yesteryear
- 19:07either. And the greatest advice I ever got was from the great Hall of
- 19:14Famer Jackie Slater. At the time I met Jackie, he was on year
- 19:18eighteen, so he was like forty. I was twenty two, and his
- 19:26advice led me to a long and profitable career. I didn't see him as
- 19:32some old head. I saw him as pour everything that you have gone through
- 19:38into my head, and I'm gonna use as much of it as I can,
- 19:42kind of like that stolen Chick fil A cooking oil, right that COMANCHI
- 19:48Greg talking about that they use as much as I can to benefits myself.
- 19:52Whatever we can salvage out of this is going to get some for you that
- 19:56don't know. Comancha Greg has a story of Chick fil a out things.
- 20:00They stole some cooking oil. I did read the story real quick, went
- 20:03on air authority say you can refine that cooking oil and use it as fuel
- 20:10fuel, or you can reach sell it for cooking as well. So I
- 20:14don't know if I want to buy some ues cooking oil that was stolen to
- 20:18use to fry just me because I have a little O. C. D.
- 20:22Now I could use it, put it in my car, but I
- 20:25don't know if I want to go. So you went into it to somewhere
- 20:27you stole some used cooking oil and cleaned it out, then cleaned it out
- 20:32and then brought it to mean next thing. You know, I'm like t
- 20:37I and Michael Mike what was his name, Mike Epps that movie they had
- 20:42the Chicken the Weed in or no, you're talking about they cloned Tyrone.
- 20:51No, No, it called the Trap. It was a spot called the
- 20:59Trap was selling chicken. But with Jerry Judy. The interesting thing is if
- 21:03Steve Smith definitely was reaching his hand out, but the defiance of not even
- 21:10letting him apologize and then Steve Smith on Prime went in. As you imagine
- 21:15if you know Steve Smith, he's always a second away from losing his temper
- 21:25anyway. Yeah, that was what made him great as a feisty little receiver.
- 21:30Jerry Judy, both of them, Mark Slaiir and my man Snee Smith
- 21:36just feel like Jerry Judy since his rookie year hasn't lived up to any of
- 21:38the promise. He called him a jag of a jag. Yeah, just
- 21:44a guy. Just a guy, that's what That's what. That's what he
- 21:45called for his numbers that he's had. He's just a guy. He's just
- 21:49a guy. I have two questions. One, when it comes to the
- 21:53Russell Wilson situation, you said Russell seems to just be out there adding the
- 21:57walnuts to the on that kind of thing. But you also said that Sean
- 22:03Payton and Denver had an instituted his particular style of offense. Do you think
- 22:07he wanted chocolate sauce and sprinkles on a cherry but all they had for him
- 22:11was the walnuts. So he just gone, I'm gonna get what you give
- 22:15me and just keep it moving. As part of Johan Payton or Russell Wilson.
- 22:19Russell Wilson, we'll talk about on the other side of the break,
- 22:23Big Kenny command you Greg the Bad Producer. More of the Sports Shock Show
- 22:26right after this, Don't Go awayne Board of the Sports John Show with Wayne
- 22:45Dandidius comming up next. Attention, homeowners, Now is the time to upgrade

- 23:55represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent and actually
- 24:00have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 24:03just getting started with our family and thought we live forever life insurance. What's
- 24:07the last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving
- 24:08benefits or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 24:12bills piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without me.
- 24:15That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power,

- 25:17A message from C T I A. And now back to the sports
- 25:26John Wayne Gandy in the RASO walk all they want the scene in the podcast
- 25:47as the wall for Green and live the young man who's in the penance's name
- 25:51to make it interesting in me, Dana Day, what right for the show?
- 25:55I'm the sports shot Wayne Canny, good morning to you. We're gonna
- 25:57jump into the NFL action as far as scores go. Big Kenny had a
- 26:02question going into the break. We were discussing Steve Smith, Mark Slais Steve
- 26:07Smith receiver Mark Slair's longtime Super Bowl champion lineman both having some comments about Broncos
- 26:15receiver Jerry Judy. Big Kenny was on the line a question of Russell Wilson
- 26:22being the quarterback out there and what should the team have done or how he
- 26:26should he even now well, the comment was made that his disposition sort of
- 26:32just seems like he's added some walnuts to the Sunday and he doesn't really plan
- 26:37to do much. And I was asking, do you think that he went
- 26:41there planning to have a deluxe Sunday but noticed that all they had was one
- 26:48flavor of ice cream and the walnuts. I think he went there for the
- 26:52payday. Okay, period, whatever team was going to give me the biggest
- 26:56pay day. I think when you still had a couple of years left in
- 27:00you physical there was nothing physically wrong with you. You were middle. You're
- 27:03not as old as someone like a Aaron Rodgers, and the Seahawks were very
- 27:08okay with letting maybe their arguably their best Hall of Fame quarterback go right,
- 27:17so it was a payd eight. When I look at him, Clay's that
- 27:19way. He seems like he's a steps slower, like he's distracted almost.
- 27:23I do know that whatever he likes to do, the way he reads,
- 27:26even when he was younger, it wasn't necessarily someone that Seawan Peyton would have
- 27:34chosen, right. Sean Payton is looking for a quarterback as like he had
- 27:40a Drew Brees or a guy like a Kurt Warner, almost like a arena
- 27:44ball, quick reader, not a scrambler. And this is just a hard
- 27:48marriage to make for them. And they can't do much with that team until
- 27:53they figure out what to do. Find a taker for Russell Wilson. I
- 27:57doubt that they're gonna eat the salad, but you can see him letting go
- 28:03other veterans getting ready for next year. Yesterday Action Upsets as we talked about
- 28:10the Dallas Cowboys tonight and the Chargers. We'll be on Monday Night Football.
- 28:15Make sure here you can see us live on Facebook Live. You can also
- 28:21catch the read broadcast of the show on Apple Podcasts and on Spotify after the
- 28:27show if you missed anything but yesterday here in Atlanta. I'm gonna start there
- 28:34with the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Commanders, just to get that out of
- 28:38the way because a lot of my friends hit me up after the game.
- 28:42Terrible job head coach Arthur Smith. Terrible either be the offensive coordinator or be
- 28:53the head coach. You don't seem to be able to mentally multitask. I
- 28:57think you're a good offensive coordinator, but yesterday you want a You want to
- 29:03put a first year quarterback on the field. And that's how I look at
- 29:06Desmond Ridder because this is his first it's his second year in the league,
- 29:10but his first year where hey, you the starter, right, So in
- 29:15a lot of ways, I look at him as a first year because last
- 29:18year it was Marcus Mariota and you just sending me in here because Marcus got
- 29:22hurt, or sending me in here because you don't lost faith. But this
- 29:26year is Desmond Ritter. I for Falcon fans who love to think, because
- 29:30I work with what I have. I'm not worried about the future. I'm
- 29:33worried about what we can do today. Desmond Rider is the quarterback. He's
- 29:37a young guy. Arthur Smith is offensive coordinator and the head coach. You
- 29:41cannot be getting the play in to this young man with ten twelve seconds left.
- 29:49The players are too wordy. I'm sitting there reading his lips. You
- 29:56want to protect a young rookie quarterback or second year guy just on the field.
- 30:02First of all, you need an offensive line. Second of all,
- 30:03you got to be able to run the ball. In third, you have
- 30:07to relieve his stress. You're breaking the Did you actually not have a play
- 30:15on third and goal on the one and the play clock run out? You
- 30:21didn't have a play? Come on, what's going on? Because that's what
- 30:26I would have been as a senior lineman on the team, going to the
- 30:30sideline talking about why is the play? This kid needs time to set up
- 30:34so he can read. Your plays are too lifty. I don't know whether
- 30:42you're your personnel because we're talking about totally young personnel grouping. So all you
- 30:48people out there, like the bad producing I'm just using him as an example
- 30:52because he says he's a sometime Falcon fan. All these people, let me
- 31:03try that again, because I didn't ask for the amen corner to kick in?
- 31:06Did I rewhy For all you people like the bad producer who think they're
- 31:11Falcon fans but don't want to look at the game, I don't know where
- 31:15y'all see all this talent. First of all, offensively other than names and
- 31:21draft picks. But beyond that, Desmond Rider needs to play. He needs
- 31:30to be at the line of strimmage with at least fifteen eighteen seconds to read.
- 31:36So you're getting me the play and it's let ten seconds to go,
- 31:40and I'm reading your lips. I sat there because I was astonished. Twenty
- 31:45two thirteen left right on six sweet nine six. Either you don't have the
- 31:51personnel or to I don't know what you're running. I do know he was
- 31:56talking too long. So either you're telling each position what to do, which
- 32:01goes like flex to trips, right, zea lay, why come back,
- 32:12X, drag scat that you're gonna walk through. That's that's so you're telling
- 32:16all four positions what to run. That's too long explode to write eighty two
- 32:24Foster on two. If they don't know how to run the play, that's
- 32:31on them. But to sit here and you're telling me that because that's how
- 32:35long he's I was sitting there like, bro, are you gonna stop talking?
- 32:39Like how long are you telling? Every day? Don't notice eighty three
- 32:44Falster. I get confused, But it's just I'm just trying to say and
- 32:47I think, as I said, still believe because yesterday everybody in the whole
- 32:52NFC South lost, so everybody good. So I still believe as I said,
- 33:00and the Falcons can win a division and host the playoffs game. I
- 33:02haven't lost faith in that. What I have is that you're not handling this
- 33:07young man who. I'm not telling you that next year somebody's available or you
- 33:15don't drive. I'm telling you that the best situation he shouldn't have to be
- 33:21worried about whether the play is getting in and how to the huddle. And
- 33:25Arthur Smith, I don't know, but you did something yesterday that confused me
- 33:30as well. On the two minute drive trying to come back to win the
- 33:34game. Did you substitute three people while the clock was running? I was
- 33:40mystified, not on a dead ball, but I could have sworn. I
- 33:46almost wanted to go online figure out how to get a replay of the game
- 33:51that they were running that last two minute drive and as you wasted nine seconds
- 33:57substituting three people. Nobody substitutes on a two minute drive without it being a
- 34:04dead ball. So like most of these coaches I'm watching who want to wear
- 34:10all the hats because you saw Andy Reid do it, or you saw somebody
- 34:17else do it, so you're gonna do it. Now some of you either
- 34:21need to decide to be the coordinator or be the head coach. Sports shock
- 34:28you have we did just no. It led me to this segue in that
- 34:36we just talked about the Jerry Judy talking about the old head dudes. But
- 34:40do you think that some of these coaches are putting too much faith in these
- 34:45brand news like you brand new and I expect you to get out there and
- 34:50be who you might be in the future. Right now, we haven't given
- 34:53you. I'm not even preparing to prepare you. So h I'm kind of
- 35:00in my Oh yeah, he's first round draft pick, he'd be all right.
- 35:05It doesn't seem like they're preparing them well enough, or maybe some of
- 35:08them aren't even comfortable doing what it is. It seems like a lot of
- 35:13hats to wear head coach and offensive coordinator. Do you think that two things
- 35:17could be true? I think that you can. There are select groups of
- 35:22coaches that can do it. Most of them at some point concede that I
- 35:25need to let the coordinator because I got other things on my mind I need
- 35:29to do. I do know yesterday with clock management and running the system,
- 35:34it seems that Arthur Smiths struggled to be in the mindset of both right for
- 35:43what I saw out on the field, and that's what I'm saying. Desmin
- 35:45Rider could have made some better choices throwing the ball. But I do know
- 35:50you're not alleviating any of the stress of his operation. You try to call
- 35:59a game, so that is a flow right to the game. And Atlanta,
- 36:05if somewhere in between now and the trade deadline, you can find anyone
- 36:08on offense that's in the league that can get some yack. Y'all are the
- 36:15worst yack team in the league. That's yards after catch. I don't I
- 36:19never see Atlanta players do anything but catch the ball, which is fast.
- 36:27I don't ever see them take four and seven yard catches, make three people
- 36:34miss for another, to put too much on the plate. Sports, we
- 36:37just we just want to see you catch the ball for right now. Just
- 36:40okay, he grabbed So since this man, when the Jets talk come up,
- 36:45I can't even talk to you about my team. Really, you can't
- 36:49talk about nothing because you rarely have anything wise to say. Hush, Barbara
- 37:01Harbor kays, you guaranteed to like me for what I am singing to.

- 40:50the Falcons. Yesterday over in London, the Ravens did enough to beat the
- 40:57Tennessee Titans. Derrick Henry having a wrong day for the Titans, but just
- 41:00not enough. Ryan Tannehill left Lake with a hurt ankle. We have to
- 41:06see how that affects him. Elik Willis got in the game, moved around
- 41:10to throw the ball, first action really of the season for him. The
- 41:14young backup Lamar Jackson doing enough, and that's the thing with Lamar enough.
- 41:22He does enough to win the game. And when I say that, not
- 41:27in a bad way, but he's had to get back to his MVP way,
- 41:30something that he kind of stopped. And that's why I said maybe it
- 41:34was a contract, but he will always in consistently have to play where he's
- 41:39either the leading rusher or the second leading rusher along with whatever he does through
- 41:45the air. But the last like two years he hit went kind of like
- 41:50not really trying to run the ball in that kind of way. And now
- 41:55he's kind of getting back to those ways, putting up solid numbers. When
- 41:59you look at his overall game, doing enough, the Ravens winning over across
- 42:04the pond in that game, the j E. T. S Chis Jets
- 42:09Jets, the j E. T. S Chis Jets Jets pulling off the
- 42:14victory. Yesterday the Hearts upset victory, and this defense has really dominated once
- 42:22again, holding a Jalen Hurts to what probably at least in the last two
- 42:29seasons, his worst game through three interceptions yesterday in the game against the Jets
- 42:37defense that was missing its two starting cornerbacks, but that defensive front was really
- 42:43attacking the Eagles. They're big right tackle Lane Johnson went out early, and
- 42:49seems that when he went out like sharks smelling blood in the water, like
- 43:00somebody just got the memo, like they passed the word hey, Lane gone,
- 43:05Hey, y'all saw Lane lead, let him go, let him out
- 43:08the gate. They went to attacking that old line. Once the big right
- 43:14tackle was one of the top two or three linemen in the league left the
- 43:17game. The Jets doing enough. Zach Wilson no touchdowns but no interceptions,
- 43:24which is key to him not taking from that defense. When you have a
- 43:29defensive team like the Jets have become, I don't think that's not how they
- 43:32thought they were going to get to the super Bowl. That is why they
- 43:36thought they were going to get to the super Bowl. Yes, they thought
- 43:37that they would have that offensive weapon and then that defense would just hold them.
- 43:42The best thing about when you watch a Zach Wilson and any defensive team,
- 43:46it's the old Ravens, it's the it's the early Ben Roethlisberger stealers,
- 43:51it's the Stellers. Anytime there's a defensive team, the best thing a quarterback
- 43:54can do, it's just not turned the ball. You don't have to throw,
- 43:59no touch. You just didn't short fill us put us in a bad
- 44:02situation. And that's what the Jets were able to do yesterday. You want
- 44:07to say something about the Jets, you said during the break, No,
- 44:08I just wanted to say that I thought that, you know, there was
- 44:12a good game. Unfortunately, there's a couple of players that was out.
- 44:15Aaron Rodgers was seen throwing some footballs before the game. He's out. He
- 44:20was in the throwing. They said he could be possible back if the Jets
- 44:23makes the playoffs. You think that they would go with him, as if
- 44:29Wilson gets them to the playoffs. Do you think they would make that change
- 44:32if he's available. I think they would definitely. As I said, with
- 44:38that not mess up with that country. Well, we would have to see
- 44:42three at the three and three at the point. Right now, their offense
- 44:45doesn't really have We can't say there are any groove. Now, another six
- 44:51weeks from now we start seeing that Zach Wilson is finally getting it. No,
- 44:54you probably would, but right now, based on what we see,
- 45:00if they had anybody else to try, they would be on try them.
- 45:02So they're not breaking some kind of continuity right now. It's not like they're
- 45:07riding the hot hand. Okay, So I can't tell you how this offense
- 45:14will look in December. But if this same offense is doing what it's doing,
- 45:20why wouldn't I go to, Yeah, we're just getting our turbo booster
- 45:24repaired. Why wouldn't we put it on the car and race? But at
- 45:28some point Zach Wilson at that time has gone four and zero or three and
- 45:37one, and it has been the pivotal part of that. Then no,
- 45:39I wouldn't keep Rogers on the sideline, as I said when Rogers did this.
- 45:45Very quarterbacks can play with injuries that other people can't because their job is
- 45:52not particularly to have to run so Achilles. For anyone else any other position,
- 45:59we went even be having this conversation. But for a quarterback, they
- 46:04can have ac it. They can do something because we can embrace it.
- 46:09We can run protections where and Aaron Rodgers at this point, it's not like
- 46:13he was ever trying to do what Lamar Jackson does, so he's more of
- 46:17his Tom Brady groove right now. He does move a little more out of
- 46:21the pocket, but go through his progressions get rid of the ball. He's
- 46:23not doing much, but the Jets with the upset of the Eagles. The
- 46:28Eagles came into the game undefeated. They have their first loss, which is
- 46:31about good right now after the five, six, seven games, you want
- 46:37that wake up call, regardless of who it is. And this is the
- 46:39classic, this game and the San Francisco game for you. When you always
- 46:45hear the thing where they say trap games and you don't really understand what a
- 46:51trap game is. A trap game is when you take the forty nine ers,
- 46:55you put them against someone like the Cowboys or the Eagles, two teams,
- 47:00those two teams who they see as their primary competition to get to the
- 47:05Super Bowl. You invite them out to California for some some thirty year old
- 47:12cheese and some hundred year old wine. Yeah, if they go to Gatherine,
- 47:15you slap them around a little bit. It happens, destroy them,
- 47:19break their heart, their wheel like they did to the cowboy had lunch.
- 47:23And then you get on the plane and you go play a team that is
- 47:27without their first two quarterbacks. They'll start running back. Nick Chubb is on
- 47:31IR and you set me up. We gonna call this one in. We
- 47:36gonna win. On the phone, Nick Chubb ain't playing, Deshaun Watson ain't
- 47:38playing. I still don't know why Deshaun Watson is not playing. Wow,
- 47:42the backup Thompson Wilkins, whatever his name wasn't playing. You put in a
- 47:45due name, p J. Walker. You set me up, man,
- 47:49I didn't even go to sleep tonight, y'all. Hustle me, y'all.
- 47:54I'm not doing You could want to put three thousand on the next hole,
- 48:00you Joe Walker. Now, I'm just saying, that's what you call the
- 48:02trap three card money, which won the ball and on that last team,
- 48:08undefeated team losing the nineteen seventy two Dolphins got to do their cigar and bourbon
- 48:13thing again because no one else will be undefeated. Okay, any of those
- 48:19guys still love Yeah, Larry's uncle, they had a bit so he drinking
- 48:22by himself. Now he's you know, we'll be back. You know not?

- 50:29This message presented by the NFHS and the GHSA. And now back to the
- 50:39sports John Wayne Gandy Center Court on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah
- 50:52blah, ay, Wow the world, Wow the young. It may cause
- 51:16concern it why don't you listen and learned? Lots happy that once was strong,
- 51:23but you didn't see society wrong. What about just what shock showing?
- 51:29Just what shock? Wing, Kenny. We'll get back into the NFL in
- 51:31the second. But this weekend one of the biggest surprises was the Stanford Cardinals
- 51:37coming back and beating the Colorado Buffalo's, mainly because of the score. When
- 51:45I decided I had a game, I got. It was Friday night,
- 51:49remember Prime Time. Coach Prime upset that the game started late for what he
- 51:53thought the East Coast should see it earlier on a Friday. The game started
- 51:58eight p m. Mountain time, ten o'clock here on the East Coast.
- 52:02So once I got from calling my game, got home, watched the last
- 52:07couple of seconds. There was twenty nine to zero at half. So at
- 52:10that point you figure you're sure Stanford might's score makes something, but not enough
- 52:16to keep you up. Like a lot of people, you went to sleep,
- 52:20only to wake up thinking you still was dreaming, because when you wipe
- 52:23the sleep out of your eyes, the scores was saying that Washington, excuse
- 52:28me. Stanford had come back won the game, which was a surprise not
- 52:32only to the people viewing, but it looked like to Coach Prime after the
- 52:38game, Coach Prime saying that he asked his kids, do they love the
- 52:43game? Do they just like the game? I think some of that responsibility
- 52:50Coach Prime lays at your feet as well, not just about loving and liking
- 52:54the game. But as I have said with Coach Prime, and remember I
- 53:00been singing he's gonna win, I believe he's gonna bring a national championship.
- 53:04His first step is to just kind of get more into the coaching and stop
- 53:07being deyond the player, to be deyond the coach, because you need to
- 53:13coach the kids how to deal with success, how to handle it. Part
- 53:19of their failure to understand is that you put them in celebration mode. They
- 53:23go there quickly with you, because that's what you champion. Yes, so
- 53:30they're twenty nine zero, they are going to La La Land. They're going
- 53:34to as the Bad producer said, somebody was on your doors Sanders' instagram.
- 53:40We don't know if it's him or his representatives. I'm quite sure he has
- 53:44a team of people. Look like he might be selling items or booking tonight's
- 53:49show engagements, whatever it was. There's this early, instant, first touchdown
- 53:58kind of celebration that can quickly get away from you, and you forget that,
- 54:05No, the game is sixty minutes. Yeah, sometimes it's sixty plus
- 54:10some time. But you put me into mind that every score is needs to
- 54:20be celebrated, every play needs to be celebrated, and you forget sometimes d
- 54:24that these people are not you, not you, not you. They're not
- 54:31you. They're not as talented as you ever were. They're not as focused.
- 54:36They don't have that dog matter mattic personality that you have. Yes,
- 54:45you're trying to talk them into it, walk them up the mountain, get
- 54:49them to see it, but they don't. You know, one or two
- 54:52of them maybe, but everybody wouldn't be or they would be primetime. That's
- 54:55what make you. And sometimes you gotta take that step down to make sure
- 55:00you'ren't talking. It's like going to help. I've told you guys that before.
- 55:05When I go help young lyman, I can't start them in the pros.
- 55:10I have to take them back to high school. Let's get back to
- 55:14the first couple of things we need to work on. Correct If I started
- 55:19with a pro guy, I wouldn't be helping. If I went to the
- 55:22pros right now, I'm not gonna help a pro guy, and we're gonna
- 55:25say it all day with his stans, that's not what we're gonna do.
- 55:30But I take that tenth grader and get him to see, well, we
- 55:32got to get your stance right because that pro guy, however his stance is,
- 55:38that's what got him to the pro Why would I want to what that
- 55:40guy to do right? I mean, what got you to today? Stick
- 55:44with that part, let's talk about these other parts. So Colorado coming up
- 55:47short against Stanford was really the biggest news based on not that so much they
- 55:52lost, but the collapse of being up twenty nine to zero interesting for us
- 55:59here on the show because the bad producer did not text, and you know
- 56:05he is a Buffalo fan, So that's how that goes. So we will
- 56:10see how Colorado. Now. I need Colorado because it's good for Bowl.
- 56:15Needs you to win two games. Got five games left. Gonna be a
- 56:20tight squeeze because four of those last five opponents are in the top twenty.
- 56:23You are capable of beating two or three of them. Actually wouldn't be surprised,
- 56:29good one, but you knew need to win two of these last five
- 56:34to be Bowl eligible. And I think you guys deserve what you have done
- 56:37and brought to the season and the excitement and the money and all that.
- 56:43And I predicted it before. I felt like y'all were gonna win at least
- 56:47I think I said six and six and go to a bowl, or seven
- 56:51and five and go to a bowl. So that was my prediction something like
- 56:54that. So what's wrong with baputuos? Oh no, a lot of y'all.
- 56:58I can't remember who some of y'all say, and they wouldn't win no
- 57:00more about three or four games. He was, yeah yeah in this room,
- 57:05Yeah yeah, yeah, Then you're lying because I remember all of us
- 57:08saying he was going to do enough to win go to I said six in
- 57:12a bowl, and I remember the Kenny same thing. None of us had
- 57:15it being and we got a recorded if we need to go back and listen
- 57:19to it. Right now. That is a little in jeopardy, as I
- 57:22said, because four of the last five opponents, and I think three of
- 57:25those games might be on the road or against top twenty teams. But I
- 57:31do want him to win two games because they have brought a certain level of
- 57:37attention, money, notoriety, fame, and those kids deserve to play on.
- 57:44So I'm hoping they can win two of those games and lock in a
- 57:47bowl. Sports, it'd be a shame not to take this kind of family
- 57:52and make it to make it to the bowl. It almost failed. And
- 57:58to your point at him keeping them in celebration mode, there was a very
- 58:01critical penalty with Travis Hunter with hands to the face where you could see he
- 58:07had gotten frustrated, the wide receiver he was guarding had gotten in his head.
- 58:13And to me it only spoke to how you're fine operating when things are
- 58:17going well, but when the tide turns, your composure is dramatically affected.
- 58:24And that is the difference between sometimes the wins and the losses. And anyone
- 58:30out there, anyone, anyone that knows, anyone that knows anyone that used
- 58:35to be related to, anyone that was ever alive or still alive, if
- 58:39you can figure out what the Auburn University football team offense is, please send
- 58:46me a smoke signal, because I still don't know what offense we're running.
- 58:50Were running. We're running Toomor's corner on three sweep. I don't know what
- 58:55offense my college be running. We'll be back more to sports, right after

- 1:02:10two to one down to the Aces. A lot of work still to do
- 1:02:15for the Liberty when you look at it's a best of five, best the
- 1:02:20five, So basically the Liberty has to win out. They would to get
- 1:02:24a championship, they will have to win another two games in a row.
- 1:02:30Game four. We'll be in New York on Wednesday night. We talked about
- 1:02:38earlier in the show. Just in case you missed it, you can catch
- 1:02:42the rebroadcast of the show on Apple Podcasts and Spotify Always live on Mondays and
- 1:02:47Thursday on Facebook Live. Big Kenny Bad producer commanchie greg in the building.
- 1:02:54Big Kenny mentioned that Travis Hunter for Colorado was back. Great to see Travis
- 1:03:00Hunter back, young man back on the field. As I said, with
- 1:03:02Travis Hunter, it would be nice to dial back one side of the ball.
- 1:03:09To dial back one side of the ball, sometimes you forget after those
- 1:03:15first three games he had played about five games. When you look at the
- 1:03:20snaps, that's how many snaps he had logged basically in the first three games,
- 1:03:23enough to counted for five games. So I'm not saying he can't play
- 1:03:28too weight at all. I would just like to see that you're not the
- 1:03:31number one cornerback and the number one offensive target like you. You know,
- 1:03:36need to spot check him just a little more for the young man. Don't
- 1:03:38want to burn him out right career probably a top five pick. When he
- 1:03:43comes out for the draft, teams will be confused on where to put it.
- 1:03:47Most likely he will play cornerback in the NFL because it's harder to find
- 1:03:52a cornerback than it is too fine a receiver when you look at defenses and
- 1:03:59how they're ran. Today we talked about the forty nine Ers losing to Cleveland,
- 1:04:02the mystery of Deshaun Watson, who says that it's some kind of shoulder
- 1:04:08rotator cuff. But coman you, Greg and I did research. Neither one
- 1:04:12of us saw when it got hurt. But he has been out the last
- 1:04:15two three weeks with this injury, and coaches don't have any authority to go.
- 1:04:20Boy, stop playing, put your hair and on to get out,
- 1:04:24not when the contract guaranteed. Okay, so the owner, boy, stop
- 1:04:29playing. If you want this chick, you better put your he You don't
- 1:04:31have to go to the owner because when the contract guaranteed, they need an
- 1:04:34owner like me and Cleveland. Boy, you better get your helmet on the
- 1:04:39tight end for the forty nine ers, and the forty nine ers sustained injuries
- 1:04:42too that helped Cleveland out. Deebo Samuel went out late first quarter. Christian
- 1:04:47McCaffrey, the running back for the forty nine ers, went out in the
- 1:04:50first half as well. I told you last week at the same time,
- 1:04:56biggest enemy for the Eagles, biggest enemy for the Chiefs, and the biggest
- 1:05:00enemy for the forty nine Ers. It's injuries, not opponents. Those three
- 1:05:06teams seem to be the class and other teams might finally get it around.
- 1:05:11So that's I said. This is early season, but through what we seen,
- 1:05:15if those three teams can stay healthy, those three teams will be in
- 1:05:18Las Vegas. But George Kittles was fined, and we talked about this last
- 1:05:24week, and it's always interesting the number, not the thirteen thousand, that's
- 1:05:29whatever it is, but how the NFL got around for the six one hundred
- 1:05:33and fifty nine dollars for the T shirt. Remember you had the elf cowboy
- 1:05:41T shirt underneath his jersey and they find him thirteen thousand, six hundred and
- 1:05:46fifty nine. Hold on, now, I don't know how they came Hold
- 1:05:50one now, and you and you just and you're offended by the six hundred
- 1:05:55and fifty nine part, Well, how did you come up with that?
- 1:05:59Like, why isn't it like thirteen thousand, five hundred. I think that
- 1:06:02maybe because if you cool with thirteen thousand, I'm gonna just throw some random
- 1:06:08numbers out there. Everybody picks a number, and what you think thirteen What
- 1:06:12do you say fifty nine is a percentage of their game check? Otherwise?
- 1:06:17I don't know. That's that seems that seems like a really expensive statement to
- 1:06:23make before we move on a bad producer, So we equally add you into
- 1:06:29the show about your Colorado Buffalo's any anything you want to say. No,
- 1:06:33I think that I'm happy with how they're playing. I'm happy that they're showing
- 1:06:39up. I wish, you know, had a little problem right there on
- 1:06:43defense at the End's a couple of plays. Like you said, I think
- 1:06:45Travis Hunter needs to play a little bit more at stake folks. On the
- 1:06:49defense side, you could tell that he is getting frustrated out there. I
- 1:06:54think that he did one play there. He got beat on the play.
- 1:06:57I think maybe because he was, you know, one shit, He's doing
- 1:06:59both sides of the snap. I think it could have been something prevented.
- 1:07:01And then you know Sudor, I think he was trying to go to him
- 1:07:05on that last play when he made in the second overtime, just you know,
- 1:07:10just a lot of decisions that they're young, and I'm greing with Prime,
- 1:07:13you better get him while right now Colorado their team young. They then
- 1:07:21played some everywhere in the NCAA they did just all transferred. They're, like
- 1:07:28I said, is sophomore as a Travis hunter his players right now, I'm
- 1:07:32just saying that why you got a chance to defeat Colorado until Prime gets his
- 1:07:39recruiting up. Get him some d lineman, some old linemans. Wait,
- 1:07:43wait a minute, it doesn't make them young. Wait now, and you
- 1:07:45say get his recruiting up. Didn't he bring in over half the new team,
- 1:07:49Like there were about thirty players left from the squad that he inherited,
- 1:07:55and then everybody else was part of the transfer portal. Well, they noticed
- 1:07:59that the old offensive line in the defensive line is not as you do know,
- 1:08:01Shoudur be gone possibly in January? Right, that's his what third year?
- 1:08:09This is he could end of the drivet. But what I'm saying,
- 1:08:13but if he if he's like Williams out at USC and a lot of these
- 1:08:16other quarterbacks who see that they can make more money by staying oh, no,
- 1:08:20I know y'all. I know you like to write the dream, but
- 1:08:24you're talking about as though Shador does not have an opportunity. Shiloh, his
- 1:08:30other son, will be gone. A lot of this team can leave.
- 1:08:33They're not young players. If Shadur feels like he's a top ten pick come
- 1:08:40January, he's leaving. Well what Prime said that? Well, that means
- 1:08:45the Falcons have to What does the Falcons have to do with Colorado? Well,
- 1:08:47I'm saying Prime just said that the next time you see his sons,
- 1:08:51they will be in Atlanta. Was cousin Atlanta Falcons? Scout was out there?
- 1:08:57What stick on? Stay on subject? You said they're young, and
- 1:09:00I'm like, when are they're young? They're not playing a freshman quarterback.
- 1:09:08Okay, those old linemen are not freshman or sophomore. Let me prasid.
- 1:09:13Then maybe I shouldn't have said his young team right now, his first year
- 1:09:17and at this position, at this place, at Colorado, you better get
- 1:09:23him while you can, because why why? Because Dion may not even be
- 1:09:28here in three years. I think he's headed to Florida. So you keep
- 1:09:32saying get him while he's at Colorado. What if in two years, he's
- 1:09:35in Gainesville. Hey, we got to get him in Florida. Then we're
- 1:09:40going right there with us. I'm going right there with him, go prying.
- 1:09:45A man who swears he's a Georgia bulldog says he's going to Gainesville and
- 1:09:50ride with the Gators. Turn his mic off. You took him to taxi
- 1:09:55he took that. He still got to be banned for that. The man
- 1:09:58says that Florida. He said he's a Uga bulldog, but he's going to
- 1:10:01head the Gainesville and ride with the Gators. Ain't that something? I blame
- 1:10:06you. I blame you as the coach of this team. You putting the
- 1:10:12wrong people at the skill positions. You got the wrong people on the field
- 1:10:15right now, substitution while the game is going on. It's two minute offense
- 1:10:19and it's substituted. The Great Eddie George wants to know why the fans won't
- 1:10:25stay in the stadium. Adie George is the head coach up at Tennessee State,
- 1:10:30up in Nashville and homecoming last week. As we have talked about on
- 1:10:35this show in many different conversations about the HBCU experience and how fans seem to
- 1:10:45see the game as the third part of whatever is going on, the first
- 1:10:54part is the celebration of the spectacle, the second part is is the celebration
- 1:11:00of the band, absolutely, and the third seems to be that we'll get
- 1:11:05around to the football. Eddie George questioned whether Tennessee State fans love football when
- 1:11:14he looked at the game they were having homecoming, and he says, as
- 1:11:17his team was trying to drive to win the game they were playing North Fork
- 1:11:23State, he looked around and it was light. A lot of y'all had
- 1:11:27tried to leave, either went back to the tailgate, didn't come back after
- 1:11:30the band, or just trying to get a jump on traffic, all three
- 1:11:36things. I go to these HBCU games and there are times when I have
- 1:11:43to tap people on the show. They go, hey, you know,
- 1:11:45it's the second quarter. We really ought to go inside now because I can
- 1:11:50hear people like actually watching this game, let's go see it. And then
- 1:11:55they go okay, and then they get in and they all look, they
- 1:11:59got their sweat zone, and oh look all the q's over there doing this,
- 1:12:02and oh look, ain't that ain't Yeah. He went to the Broncos
- 1:12:06back in eighty six and then oh here come the band man them ribs ought
- 1:12:11to be done. Now, wait a minute, we got the second half
- 1:12:14to go. Y'all want to watch dog Bro. We had catch that on
- 1:12:15the radio. We've seen a couple of coaches talk about this in their stadiums,
- 1:12:20even on the D one level. A couple of coaches. I want
- 1:12:25to know where the fans participation is staying in the stadium, getting away from
- 1:12:30running back to the tailgates. And these tailgates, if you haven't been the
- 1:12:32games lately, they are definitely tempting to not even go into the stadium.
- 1:12:42I mean they have the big screen. It's not the little thirty two forty
- 1:12:46instant. They have the big carnival screen game the lazy boys. You have
- 1:12:54companies now that just come set up your tailgate. Yes, you just show
- 1:12:59up. And the key is the word. The keyword is open ball.
- 1:13:02That's why they don't want to leave. So but Eddie George, We're gonna
- 1:13:04go to break. Eddie George having an issue with the fans and their turnout
- 1:13:10and not just turning out because he believes it was up to about fourteen thousand
- 1:13:14people there, right, But Agent wasn't sitting in the stadium cheering for TSU.
- 1:13:19We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. Dope be

- 1:16:34reached the birthday entertainment segment of the show, but hopefully you've already been entertained
- 1:16:40by us this morning. Keisha Cole celebrating her forty second birthday. Anthony Joshua
- 1:16:47the Boxer is eighty four. Big Kenny at the end of the last segment
- 1:16:51didn't even know it, but Tito Jackson uh is seventy one of the Jackson's
- 1:16:57seventy years old. We tito until we talk. Yeah, well is him
- 1:17:02and Marlon talking again? Nobody talks tomorrow. None of us are speaking tomorrow.
- 1:17:09Might even in the family. And Marlon can't call me. Emerald Lagasi
- 1:17:15who's always come off as an elderly man like your uncle and me, and
- 1:17:21he always have that uncle look like you should call him sir. Emerald is
- 1:17:26sixty four years of age. John Mayer is forty six. Naomi Osaka,
- 1:17:31who says she will be at the Australian Open in January, is twenty six.
- 1:17:36The Great Sue Bird is forty three years of age. Be interesting to
- 1:17:42see where Sue takes her career. What is she stay on the commercial side,
- 1:17:45w she go to the commentating side or maybe eventually end up coaching.
- 1:17:49I think if the WNBA does anything, they need to stalk. I'm talking
- 1:17:55about capital s stalk people like Sue Bird, Diana Tarassi's to be their coaches.
- 1:18:01Yes, because those are some of the brand names. When you think
- 1:18:04about them, their ability to stick around a long time became that they were
- 1:18:12marquee names. Yes, and a lot of their marquee names and they have
- 1:18:15great players. But they're not necessarily marquee names. Be good to say Sue
- 1:18:20Bird kind of like Becky Hammon is with the Aces, Yes, just to
- 1:18:25be the head coach, but Sue Bird is forty three. Tonight you get
- 1:18:29to see Bryce Harper, who's thirty one years of age, the Braves Killer,
- 1:18:33Bryce Harper and my man Little Stuart, one of the first, you
- 1:18:40know, kind of took took the baton from Randall Cunningham. It was running
- 1:18:45Conningham and then they gave it to Slash Cordell Stewart. It's that kind of
- 1:18:53new Waves, you know, kind of dual threat mix, a little Steve
- 1:18:59Young, those you know, some of the first people. Cordello was a
- 1:19:01rookie and like I won't say ninety five, one of the first Colorado Buffalo
- 1:19:06big name players, fifty one years old, Little Stu. We talked about
- 1:19:11Colorado for a second. Last note we have on them today is that they
- 1:19:15have reached the Saturday Night Live level for their parodies. Every Night Live did
- 1:19:21a little skit. We're gonna play a little bit of it to make you
- 1:19:26giggle. They're interviewing Coach Prime on Weekend Update. On Weekend Update. Yeah,
- 1:19:32well, millions of people are watching your games. You've obviously turned the
- 1:19:35program around, but it's not perfect. I mean, just last night you
- 1:19:39lost to Stanford in double overtime. Wasn't that crazy? We were up twenty
- 1:19:45nine and nothing at the hat. So I went home and fell asleep.
- 1:19:48I won't up this morning, shocked as anyone. But come on, man,
- 1:19:53nobody's perfect. Name one team that's undefeated. Okay, well it's Georgia,
- 1:19:58right, Michigan, Ohio State, that's another one. Florida State,
- 1:20:01forgot about the Oklahoma, Penn State, indeed, Washington, good team,
- 1:20:06North Carolina Taros Airport. And see, that's exactly my point. Is that
- 1:20:14what I'm saying, you got to when you gotta make a point, they
- 1:20:17got you got as what is your point like you trying to make? You
- 1:20:24know? He said, who ain't lost the game? Well, and the
- 1:20:29didnt even Okay, the Tarios in North Carolina still have their great record.
- 1:20:34They look like they're on a collision course to play Florida State. One of
- 1:20:39those. Two of those teams played this Saturday, which should be a great
- 1:20:42game at noon. Penn State and Ohio State, both of them are undefeated.
- 1:20:47The Big Ten about to Collide twelve noon game for them up in Columbus,
- 1:20:54so we will get to see how that works out. But very funny
- 1:20:58skip right there about how the coach Prime takes his press conference. Just one
- 1:21:04of the parts why I said, if anything, regardless of whether you like
- 1:21:10him or not, but the entertainment value that they have brought, it would
- 1:21:15be a waste for them not going not to make it to a bowl game,
- 1:21:17because I could get at least another thirty minutes worth of jokes out at
- 1:21:21least one bowl appearance. If you could get them to a bowl game,
- 1:21:25that would be great for you out there. That might have a little age
- 1:21:30on you out there. One of the bit crazies back in the day was
- 1:21:36the thigh Master. The thigh Master was a bit craze. Now I'm barely
- 1:21:44old enough to remember, but I do remember. It was a bit craze.
- 1:21:48It was like the cheetah pet. It was like all that kind of
- 1:21:53stuff they used to just that used to be my nickname che Oh when it
- 1:21:59was. But when the thigh Master got popular, then they started calling them.
- 1:22:03And I brought that up because the great Suzanne Summers, that's really what
- 1:22:09she played on Three's Company which was one of those first kind of risk ay
- 1:22:14thirty minute sitcoms where she was playing the the sex kitten blonde bombshell in that
- 1:22:20show. But after that she broke out with an invention, kind of when
- 1:22:26Richard Simmons broke out with the whole craze. Okay, we've gotta go.
- 1:22:31She broke out with the thigh Masters. But she passed away after long battle
- 1:22:38with cancer at seventy six years of age. But trust me, I'm trying
- 1:22:44to think of something that's what's the craze today. If you're in the last
- 1:22:48twelve months, what's been something that pop by a chicken sandwich? You're talking
- 1:22:53about exercise? No, just try that device. There's something that's like that
- 1:23:00master. Nothing today with all they do now is trying to sell you a
- 1:23:05different cell phone, right, that's all they do. Any other ingenious anything
- 1:23:10they're trying to sell you. No piece of trying to make things like easier,
- 1:23:15like the where we're in a gym, but all of the tonal machine
- 1:23:20where you do everything online or you have like a virtual teacher showing you how
- 1:23:26to do pull ups or riding the bike. But that's more. Is that
- 1:23:30a that's an app or that there's an app with it, but it's like
- 1:23:32every it's like the the machine that you exercise on, along with a virtual
- 1:23:40teacher, like showing like keeping you motivated, like spin class, but you're
- 1:23:44by yourself. Like a guy actually comes up on the mirror. Yeah,
- 1:23:49okay, it's like a Star Trek episode. We passed away and one of
- 1:23:58the original Eisley Brothers, Rudolph Isisley, passed away. I think he was
- 1:24:04eighty years of age or eighty two years of age. Rudolph Eisley brother Ronsley.
- 1:24:09The Isisley Brothers passed away. Rudolph did as well. We'll be back
- 1:24:14more to Sports Jock Show right right after this Buckles and ornaments. How we

- 1:27:09A message from the American Psychiatric Association Foundation. And now back to the
- 1:27:15sports. John Wayne Gandy player's lounge have been given full access to the player's
- 1:27:26lounge. On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, I want to,
- 1:27:41I want to, I want to, I want to. I like that.
- 1:27:45It's my name is this Mark Shock Show. I'm with w Shop Wayne
- 1:27:55Gandy. I did something yesterday just to make sure, uh you out there
- 1:27:59who I've been paying attention to, understand that the Sports Shop try as much
- 1:28:02as he can to go and live by what he puts out, the energy
- 1:28:06he puts out. Amber alert came through yesterday, Yes it did, and
- 1:28:12I made sure to at least take a picture. It was out of Columbus,
- 1:28:15Georgia, Amber Alert tag number t g S seven eight three five blue
- 1:28:23gray hunder CRV, which is a s u V twenty eleven. So just
- 1:28:32after we talked about the whole thing of ebony and out in California, and
- 1:28:39just my point was, let's just start with paying attention to the amber alert
- 1:28:45that is already going and before we try to get advanced, you know,
- 1:28:47because you need to do you need to do the they double somersault before you
- 1:28:54try the triple might just want to try to double see if you don't break
- 1:28:59your neck when you skip steps. Things had just starting with the triple could
- 1:29:02be fatal now, and just just start with the double and see how it
- 1:29:06goes. If you feel like you got enough height on the double, let
- 1:29:10me try again. Uh. Based on our conversation sports track, I did
- 1:29:14the same thing you did when it came through. I had a lot of
- 1:29:16stuff going on yesterday afternoon. I purposely paused and said, you know what
- 1:29:21this deserves for me to pay attention, and I took the minute or two
- 1:29:29to read it. I responded to others in the house on some this is
- 1:29:33what they were looking for, and it was all based on our conversation.
- 1:29:38And just as you, gentlemen, I did too. And driving a blue
- 1:29:42gray CRV yesterday, things like that sort of make you nervous when you drive
- 1:29:46it. The color of the car, No, seriously, because I can
- 1:29:49when they say that they looking for this, and people may not realize that
- 1:29:53your car Georgia tag blue CRV gray and you know everybody's looking, even myself.
- 1:29:58I'm looking around looking for that tik car too, but it's not.
- 1:30:00And on top of that, if you need any more motivation, UH,
- 1:30:04check your tax bill. I'm quite sure it is something on there charging you
- 1:30:10for Ambrolert. You just you found out it ain't never free. Say that's
- 1:30:15what they're doing too, is they're charging on the tax bill. It ain't
- 1:30:17never free. Yeah, there's nothing in the world. Wow, a good
- 1:30:25community. So no, my child was bragging about how Dad, you know
- 1:30:29here in school we watched close for it ain't free. I've already paid for
- 1:30:33them loads and laundry front. That's not right, isn't it. I'm just
- 1:30:39saying that I was thinking fundraisers. I'm thinking we were being good stewards of
- 1:30:45the back into the NFL action. Yesterday, I remember Dallas and the Chargers
- 1:30:51are tonight. That's what commanding Greg will be. That's his team, Uh,
- 1:30:56the Dallas Cowboys. We talked about the Chiefs winning, talked about the
- 1:31:00Ravens winning, the Commander's winning Seattle, finding a little offense not enough,
- 1:31:06but the Bengals winning seventeen thirteen. In that game, Joe Burrow looked a
- 1:31:12little healthier. I think he has been doing his team with disservice, playing
- 1:31:15with that calf. But they gotta win. Down in Jacksonville, the Jaguars
- 1:31:21now four and two, quietly controlling that AFC South four and two. The
- 1:31:28Jags Trevor Lawrence through two touchdowns, Travis NTM starting to get into some form
- 1:31:35that defense swarming Gardner Minshew. A big thing out of this is that there
- 1:31:41is speculation that the Coats first round pick high round pick Anthony Richardson may select
- 1:31:48to have a season ending surgery. Remember in that last game he tried to
- 1:31:55scramble, somebody slammed him on his shoulder. Now his injury. I actually
- 1:31:58saw Deshaun Watson. I actually saw Anthony Richardson get slammed, and I was
- 1:32:03sitting there thinking, boy, that's a hard way to learn that this is
- 1:32:08not college. All that running around and they slammed him right on the point
- 1:32:12of that shoulder. So he could be back in forth to six, or
- 1:32:15he might opt out to be And some of that is just record. When
- 1:32:20you are three and three, if you feel like the team in a couple
- 1:32:25of weeks can come back or maybe win the division, then you maybe roll
- 1:32:29the dice and come back. The Dolphins who decided to spot early in the
- 1:32:34show, I told you what a trap game. The Eagles found themselves in
- 1:32:38the trap game against the Jts. The forty nine has found themselves in a
- 1:32:42trap game. Against the Browns. The Dolphins found themselves in a trap game
- 1:32:47against the Carolina Panthers. Going into the game, my AMMI high flying,
- 1:32:56taking on a team that has not won a game and setting themselves up with
- 1:32:59a about two more losses, we'll get the first pick in the draft next
- 1:33:03year with the Carolina Panthers. No, I'm not going out on the rope.
- 1:33:06I'm saying, once you get to to eight. They traded that pick
- 1:33:11though, Yeah, but they would be their pick and it would just go
- 1:33:14to whoever they traded it to. Who the Bears, the Bears. Okay,
- 1:33:16so the Bear are sending pretty so the Bear, So the Bears.
- 1:33:19The GM after for the Bears just where Panthers gear every game. Huh every
- 1:33:26week. He's just in there. Proudly. We owned that. We own
- 1:33:30that one. We own that one. Speaking of trap games, Sean Watson
- 1:33:35and Cleveland, Sean Watson caught them in a trap game because now they're stuck
- 1:33:41with him, but just somewhere else. Now, Bro, it's my shoulder.
- 1:33:45I thought it was your leg, Yes, my leg, but that
- 1:33:47affected my shoulder the path I mean, the Dolphins did wake up. They
- 1:33:51didn't stay in the trap because after the fourteen and nothing start, though,
- 1:33:55Man, you thought that they were well, it started off as a game.
- 1:33:59Like you said, they spot at Carolina fourteen points. It looked like
- 1:34:02they had forgotten that this is the NFL. This is not college. People
- 1:34:05get paid. They're paid to go out and do a job. And they
- 1:34:10were very lacka daisical. You think they were taking on a team that's oh
- 1:34:14and five that can barely score. Would you say they got that call to
- 1:34:17night before you said earlier, Oh, it's just a pamphlets. We're gonna
- 1:34:21stay up by an extra hour or two. This is what I was saying.
- 1:34:26The trap games. Yeah, it's the classic trap game of dismissing your
- 1:34:30opponent. And we can leave Magic City at four in the morning and drive
- 1:34:34out in Miami. So they was in Miami, so they have someone spots
- 1:34:40well, And I'm saying it's not even so much that you have to be
- 1:34:43going out, it's just a whole intensity thing. Your intensity level can drop,
- 1:34:49especially based on who you're playing, their record and who the personnel is.
- 1:34:55Now, if they have their oer and four oh and five and you're
- 1:35:00playing against Aaron Donald as a center, you don't care what I score it
- 1:35:05is you. You're getting ready for smoke, right, But if you're oh
- 1:35:11and five and you're playing a guy that you're sitting here googling, then your
- 1:35:15intensity goes down. So it's based on are you getting a break because of
- 1:35:19their record or are you getting a break because you don't see the opponent as
- 1:35:24the person because they got no take on, excuse me, because they got
- 1:35:30the it's the eighty four, eighty five, eighty six Chicago Bulls. You
- 1:35:34know, sure they're they're they're two and forty, Regie. But they got
- 1:35:41this boy. They got this boy named Jordano, you know, so y'all
- 1:35:45will be off the night, all right. But I'm out here why you're
- 1:35:47swading so hard? Because I'm guard while you swating. So for forty two
- 1:35:54to twenty one, the Dolphins winning push their record to five and won.
- 1:35:58The Panthers are now oh and six, and that's comanch you, greg Is,
- 1:36:00let us know the Bears are on the clock. It will be interesting
- 1:36:04with that first pick for how the Bears are playing. I know the bad
- 1:36:09producer is a Justin Fields fan. Justin Fields, when he left the game
- 1:36:13yesterday, he was not having a good day. He was six or ten
- 1:36:16for fifty eight yards in an interception, but he left the game with a
- 1:36:23dislocated finger. The Bears lost nineteen to thirteen. They're one in five.
- 1:36:30So the Bears right now are shaping up to have the first two picks.
- 1:36:33Yes, and the like Now, that's why I'm sitting here saying, and
- 1:36:39I'm just throwing it out, but they say, throw it against the wall,
- 1:36:42see the stick. This puts justin fields in some kind of quandary because
- 1:36:53you don't imagine the Bears ending with the first two picks. And it's early.
- 1:36:58We still got week eleven weeks ago. But having the first two picks
- 1:37:05puts a lot of pressure on you to use one of them as a quarterback.
- 1:37:11Come on, man, I'm saying now, were already saying it.
- 1:37:15We can get already. It's already from the standpoint that you're I got the
- 1:37:21first two picks and you're very tradeable. Yes, yes, this is an
- 1:37:27easy decision. I can get probably another two first round picks for you.
- 1:37:30Yeah. We I mean come on now, I mean let's take off,
- 1:37:35whether you like the player or not, the strategy of rebuild. We can
- 1:37:40get a key piece, trade you for two key pieces and then draft another
- 1:37:46quarter and with and with all this talking and everything to say like having a
- 1:37:50coupon, but what I'm saying, you know what I'm saying, it's like
- 1:37:53seventy five off going into our new stadium. Yes, yes, but listen
- 1:37:59that on for talking. Do you think Justin Field and like you said,
- 1:38:03he knows this, he's here. I think his his people, his team
- 1:38:08is like, hey, no, Justin Field is what he is, right,
- 1:38:12you just won't accept it. He has a he has an unlimited amount
- 1:38:15of talent, but he has the seek to be it. Nobody's knocking his
- 1:38:21talent. Nobody's knocking anything about the young man being as good as he is
- 1:38:25talent wise. But what's between his ears and what he wants to do may
- 1:38:30not be in sync. He might not have the Mumba mentality. That may
- 1:38:36not have it. And you keep trying to see other things being the issue.
- 1:38:42You don't know what people do until you give him million dollar checks and
- 1:38:46and and Chicago is the Homer Alcohopolle. They like you to have some of
- 1:38:51that uh, seek and destroy mentality in you. And I just don't see
- 1:38:57that. I'm asking And as I said, I'm not saying that it's over
- 1:39:00for him, but sometimes for personalities like his being traded is what wakes you
- 1:39:06up. That's what Calvin Ridley looked like for the Jaguar, like who is
- 1:39:11this man down here? I couldn't get none of that in the Falcon uniform.
- 1:39:15You get to Jacksonville where it ain't nothing to do. Get you out
- 1:39:18of Atlanta. Oh man, I got to and get you down the duke
- 1:39:21ball. I need to work out, to go to the gym, and
- 1:39:27then I'm gonna go to see my other trainer. But the Bear sitting pretty
- 1:39:30even though their record is terrible. It's terrible. At one and six right
- 1:39:34now they would have the first two picks of the drafts. Wow, We'll
- 1:39:39be back more to Sports Joke Show it after this that so love Me paint

- 1:43:06Watch Jackson State record last time I checked, like four and two because
- 1:43:16they gotta winning record right now? Or what's the head coach name? I
- 1:43:21forgot that young brother's name he was He took over at the Dion. Oh
- 1:43:26really listen to this guy. Did you hear that wisdom of idea of mister
- 1:43:34after Dion as he googles over there and tries to don't worry about it.
- 1:43:40Now I know his name, They called him d He said he took over
- 1:43:43after them. He would have to take over after Dion, right because Dion
- 1:43:46left. Did you see the party on the Saturday Night Live skip where he
- 1:43:50said God told me to go to Jackson State? Did three years later?
- 1:43:54He said, my bad. Yesterday's action. Just to finish up with the
- 1:44:01NFL last night, the Buffalo Bills beating the Giants. The Giants probably the
- 1:44:09worst offense in the league. They were showing stats that I thought they were
- 1:44:14just saying for a quarter and they were talking about how to Giants scored like
- 1:44:18three touchdowns or something the whole season. They just don't score points. Fourteen
- 1:44:23to nine. Tyrod Taylor was doing all he could last night, But that
- 1:44:29makeshift line that they have really just in lineman all around. Y'all have me
- 1:44:36in such a depression. Did any of you ever learn the block? I
- 1:44:41mean, the guy comes at you block him. It was a sad case
- 1:44:45last night for both teams. When I looked at the game, the Bills
- 1:44:48won fourteen to nine in this game where Josh Allen did enough at the end.
- 1:44:54And when I watched the Bills, their issue is the same that has
- 1:44:58been for a while. Even though they played, they make big and spectacular
- 1:45:00plays, it's just too much Stefan Diggs an. You gotta find somebody else.
- 1:45:10People have tried that, from Megatron to Antonio Brown to Julio. There's
- 1:45:17been a lot of teams that tried that. Throw one receiver the ball all
- 1:45:23the time and they never really You've got to balance the field. It got
- 1:45:28too and it's like, does anybody else play receiver? Somebody raised the hands?
- 1:45:34Anybody fast but a good set of hands. But there's been a lot
- 1:45:38of teams that have tried that, and guys go to the Pro Bowl and
- 1:45:42oh yeah, one hundred and twenty catches. Yeah, and your record was
- 1:45:47stealed to the house. Go ahead with the Giants. They have scored five
- 1:45:54touchdowns, only four offensive touchdowns, and they were all in the same game.
- 1:46:00Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It was something crazy, was like,
- 1:46:03what are y'all talking about? And then it was that's all. That's
- 1:46:06it. Yeah, So the Giants have struggling paying that and it starts mainly
- 1:46:12with that offensive line and their inability to block no one at all in the
- 1:46:17game. Tampa Bay trying to stop the Detroit Lions, who have been one
- 1:46:23of the top two or three teams since about mid season last year. The
- 1:46:28Giant excuse me, the Lions are five and one, went down and beat
- 1:46:30up on Tampa Bay. Pretty good game, defensive battle. And that's the
- 1:46:35thing with the Lions different than last year. They have an offense with Amra
- 1:46:43st Brown that they can beat you in a thirty five thirty two game,
- 1:46:47and now they're getting production out of that defense where they can beat you twenty
- 1:46:53to six. And those are the teams when they can each and every week
- 1:46:57based on this side is hot, where we'll take up the slack. This
- 1:47:00side is We'll take up the slack for this. That's a good team when
- 1:47:03it's always depending on one side. That's when you usually come up with a
- 1:47:08bad record when it always has to be one side of the ball. So
- 1:47:13the Lions are doing big things on their side. Twenty the six over the
- 1:47:17Bucks, the who that nation went down to Houston. C J. Stroup
- 1:47:23still having an efficient season so far for the Texans. As I said,
- 1:47:28the one thing you want to do with a young quarterbacks, give him offensive
- 1:47:30line. He gets pretty solid protection behind those guys. They do a decent
- 1:47:35enough yard running the ball. You know, Demico Rin the new head coach,
- 1:47:39he's a defensive minded guy. So these are the ways he's gonna want
- 1:47:43to win twenty to thirteen. That's what defensive coaches love. Hey, they
- 1:47:47just looking for enough offense. And CJ. Stroud threw for two touchdowns through
- 1:47:55for one interceptions. Derek Carr having him throw away too much, that's something
- 1:48:00too to talk about. Just like when I was talking about Desmond Ridder here
- 1:48:02with Atlanta, there's no way that Desmond Ridder should be having to throw the
- 1:48:09ball. I think he threw the ball forty nine times yesterday. Why did
- 1:48:14we draft John Robinson? That's not in this in in the Falcon scheme.
- 1:48:17Now, you threw the ball forty eight forty nine times in the Falcon scheme.
- 1:48:25This draft was a running back. That is unreal it. Why is
- 1:48:30it that it always comes out that way? Like if someone's throwing it,
- 1:48:33like, you know, forty five fifty times, that's like a bad sign
- 1:48:39of like what the the offense is struggling to score or they're always playing from
- 1:48:43behind, Like what what is it more of? It's just that many throws
- 1:48:45because it's the scheme. It's it's that you have gotten away from your identity.
- 1:48:51A lot of times you're you're trying to outsmart yourself. You've watched some
- 1:48:56film and thought, oh, i'll attack this, or they all of a
- 1:48:59sudden tell you these two players are out, so now we're gonna throw the
- 1:49:02ball because the two corners out or the two safeties are out. Instead of
- 1:49:06being who we are, and that's what you're always trying to establish. You're
- 1:49:11trying to always establish the identity of your team, regardless of who you're playing.
- 1:49:16Yes, you make adjustments based on an opponent, but you don't get
- 1:49:20completely out of character, right, And this Falcon offense throwing the ball almost
- 1:49:28fifty times in a game that was a tight score. What was the score
- 1:49:32in the six Yeah, we're not talking about a game where it was fifty
- 1:49:38to forty eight. We're talking about a game where you should have been able
- 1:49:41to ball manage. I'm disappointed because that defense made three great stops in the
- 1:49:46fourth quarter to get us the ball back to be able to stay and have
- 1:49:49a chance. And that's all Falcon fans have been able to ask for.
- 1:49:53I mean, me, is the defense showing up to give us a chance
- 1:49:57to win and we didn't. You know, like I say, he gets
- 1:50:00silly situations. But just a quick question back to the Saints game with it
- 1:50:09was a big deal about Jameis Winston was on the sideline making a big with
- 1:50:13him and Alvin Kamar, and then Calvin Kamar has to tell everybody, Hey,
- 1:50:16everything's good between Jameis Winston and I y'all mind your business. That's we
- 1:50:21were talking Saints business. So my thing is when you have a situation when
- 1:50:28the quarterback skips my name, the Saints quarterback. He's having a bad day
- 1:50:31yesterday. When you got a car, car, you have somebody like Jamis
- 1:50:34on the sideline talking to the one of your star players. Have the relationship
- 1:50:40like that? Does that? Does that? When that cause a problem with
- 1:50:43Jamis already being there in this car's first year in the organization having a relationship
- 1:50:47with those players. Well, I don't think that Derek Carr had a bad
- 1:50:51day. He threw for three and fifty three yards, one touchdown, one
- 1:50:55interception. Uh in the game Jameis Winston for his knowledge, first and foremost,
- 1:51:02forget you fans and answering your questions of while we down here disagreeing.
- 1:51:08That's what basically what Tomorrow says. I don't know why you think I need
- 1:51:11to offer you an explanation while me and my teammate are bickering about something that
- 1:51:15might have been said. This is about energy. I bought your jersey.
- 1:51:18Yeah, I deserve for explanation. Certain now I bought a ticket and a
- 1:51:24jersey and a coke. Actually, actually, James actually told me the right
- 1:51:30thing at the wrong moment, and then by the time we went back on
- 1:51:35the field we dapped each other up. But at that moment just like some
- 1:51:40coaches. They they'll chew you out, but sometimes they know you knew what
- 1:51:43you did wrong, so there's no need to engage you. It's same thing
- 1:51:45with a player. Jamis probably told him, Hey, you know you're supposed
- 1:51:49to go out in the flat, and Alvin at that moment was running it
- 1:51:54through his head and just didn't want to hear at that moment. And then
- 1:51:58you caught it on film and this decided that me and him having some tug
- 1:52:01of war was a falling out. It is not same thing. Happen at
- 1:52:08my mama's birthday party. Same thing, same thing they caught me and one
- 1:52:13of my loved ones on camera. We love disagreement, but we were dapped
- 1:52:16up and we was gold. So the new media where y'all make any kind
- 1:52:20of disturbance or bickering, I thought that's what you wanted to see, fire,
- 1:52:26some fire in the players. Now it's like, oh, but don't
- 1:52:29do it. Really, I don't get it. We'll be back more than
- 1:52:31Sports Jock Show. Right after this, I balling the Bulldog from Bulldog and
- 1:52:35the bowhogging that buhoging a pentwalking in the strictest rest of the street, talking
- 1:52:39over y'all laugh like that, ding them all up like that. Hell,
- 1:52:42we never fall off like hat where some of the dopes. Godam John Boy,

- 1:53:58but a year to make gloves? He wanted you to wait. Let me
- 1:54:01tell your story. In my situation, I was talking to this girl from
- 1:54:04the US nation the way that I'm making welcome back to the show. This
- 1:54:09whatsh up Wayne knt y'all. It has been ratified that flag football will hit
- 1:54:13the twenty twenty eight Olympics. As we talked about last week, They're just
- 1:54:16gonna find all kinds of back the commanche gregs that they're bringing swash cricket.
- 1:54:23Basically, the Olympics will just be uh, some kind of expansion of the
- 1:54:28X Games. Should they bring wiffleball? While? Yeah, bring it?
- 1:54:31Man, coin corn is coin hole in it. I'm on them yet,
- 1:54:35but I'll write a letter. I did watch some coin hole somewhere doing the
- 1:54:40weekend. Those guys need to get a job, because you know how you
- 1:54:46get like nine, ten, twenty in a row. Hey, man,
- 1:54:49listen, the trick's dropping it right this dude fifty feet away behind his back
- 1:54:56with a blindfold on. Sir, sir, you have too much time on
- 1:55:00your hands. You perfected coin hole. You can be a productive citizen.
- 1:55:06Do not let those people come to your tailgate and hustle you now because they
- 1:55:10because they look like just some regular guys that wont a twenty piece at Hooters.
- 1:55:15And then this is the thing about corn hole row right, and now
- 1:55:19you on some I could do that you can't. Uh. The super Bowl
- 1:55:24considered to be in London not a surprise. It is a venue in which
- 1:55:28they are playing games consistently. The super Bowl is becoming a true attraction and
- 1:55:34they should do it while they can still get Bono in you two to do
- 1:55:40the halftime show. They should do it while you can get Bono in you
- 1:55:43two to do the halftime show. I like me some Bono and some YouTube.
- 1:55:46I mean looking at me like I'm like, I'm strangers, Like I'm
- 1:55:49the only person that like the YouTube something. I love them. But this
- 1:55:55is the thing. What Bono and you two be the first choice of what
- 1:55:59they want to go it? Sir Elton John out of retirement, would he
- 1:56:02can do the national anthem? Okay? So oh God bless the queen?
- 1:56:08Right? They so they will use him? Who is that Elton John?
- 1:56:13They would? He's still if he's still kicking, why not? He's Sir
- 1:56:16Elton Johnes are just saying that YouTube YouTube has done it before. They normally
- 1:56:20don't like go back and like get someone to do it. But they haven't
- 1:56:25done. Beyonce has done it twice. It's in London twice. If you
- 1:56:31take the son got to bring you to, you gotta bring and you gotta.
- 1:56:35You gotta let Queen come out and do the actual. You got to.
- 1:56:41You have to. You have to. I don't care if it's only
- 1:56:44one member of Queen still live. Still, they have to come out and
- 1:56:48do the original. This is I'm just giving you a card of the musical
- 1:56:54acts. Anyone you put in there, you got to. Whoever's playing James
- 1:57:00gotta show up. God he got a parachuting He's just like the rock Like
- 1:57:04the rocker did it at one of the Superposed. And you know how we
- 1:57:08do it. You gotta take that same stage with the same thing, and
- 1:57:12somebody gonna have to dance in the air. Y'all know what we do.
- 1:57:16Somebody gonna have to dance in the air. That's where you can't go back
- 1:57:21with Super Bowl Entertainment. I take it up here and then dial it back.
- 1:57:26I'm going with a deal for across the Pond. Adal ain't got enough.
- 1:57:31She's not gonna do halftime. She could do that. She ain't got
- 1:57:34enough. She ain't got enough passion to keep a show like that rolling.
- 1:57:41She's a great singer, but this is a this is as equal parts talent
- 1:57:46as it is spectacle, So you gotta be able to bring the spectacle portion.
- 1:57:50Adele is not gonna bring out the rugby soccer fan, No, she's
- 1:57:56not. You too, is gonna somebody gonna get punched, punch to something
- 1:58:00during the YouTube perform and everybody will be cool with it. That's what I
- 1:58:04was waiting on. So definitely a great choice to do that and have I
- 1:58:11mean the stadium, trust me, America would show up and droves, Yes,
- 1:58:16we will to show up over there. For that, the World Golf
- 1:58:20rankings won't account the live events, so live events will not count in the
- 1:58:27world rankings. So whatever you win, and which I don't understand, I
- 1:58:31thought that the PGA and Live had decided to get married. I did.
- 1:58:35I missed the marriage, and I just for clarification, you won't recognize my
- 1:58:39rank. You won't recognize the live wins in my ranking. But can I
- 1:58:42still cast the check? Yeah? You still? But whatever? I thought
- 1:58:46I missed it. But I thought they had got married they started dating.
- 1:58:50Okay, Well, they're not officially married. They're just kind of seeing each
- 1:58:55other, gotcha. So we'll get some more information on that during the week
- 1:58:59for that, but they are not going to account for those situations. Jeff
- 1:59:03Van Gundy to join the Celtics as a senior consultant, so Jeff and Mark
- 1:59:09Jackson won't be the sideline reporters, which I'm gonn miss them. I like
- 1:59:12their little combination of antics together on the sideline. I thought they made a
- 1:59:16good little group. But he will be working with the Celtics and Haley Cavender,
- 1:59:24one of the Cavendar twins. Her sister Hannah. Haley has decided she
- 1:59:28will come back to college after next year. And that's how the nil will
- 1:59:30work. You're gonna go out and work for us. Realize you could make
- 1:59:34more money with your sponsorships in college and go back to school years. What
- 1:59:42you mean you going back to school? And then you're gonna tell you Bo
- 1:59:45Nicks is twenty five, the true at his nineteenth university and we are in
- 1:59:51the ocean. The truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's
- 1:59:58time to wrap things up on the Sports Jut Show with Wayne Candy. When
- 2:00:28you're the size of the ocean. Get the sports shop, Jess a minute
- 2:00:30to Vin would like to thank you for tuning in to today's show. Remember
- 2:00:32tonight's action Monday Night Football Cowboys, Chargers and the NLCS kicks off with the
- 2:00:39Diamondbacks and the phill Lee's ESPN the bad producer helped me remember this story.
- 2:00:49I gotta throw y'all in noce on two accounts. First of all, you
- 2:00:55stole my game. If you remember you for Neil Creek. I did that
- 2:00:59game high school football for Georgia last year. Remember Kirby Smart came in on
- 2:01:03the helicopter. You saw our broadcast, you got greedy, and then you
- 2:01:09put it on your station. The only thing you didn't account for is your
- 2:01:13sponsorships. ESPN decided with just a couple of minutes left in the game,
- 2:01:19as Bufort was trying to come back to beat Mill Creek, they had to
- 2:01:25go to the NBA preseason fans man even JJ Watts, the Houston Great d
- 2:01:32Tackle, was upset. They cut away from the high school games with only
- 2:01:36seconds left as one team is trying to come back to win and had to
- 2:01:45go to That wouldn't have happened with us. We are Georgia Public Broadcasting.
- 2:01:48We show you the whole game in entirety. Emmy Award winning Yeah, I
- 2:01:53got my trophy finally in the mail. I should have brought it over there
- 2:01:57and we taken it to the ball right. But for being greedy ESPN and
- 2:02:02coming in trying to steal our game, walk the plank, because if you
- 2:02:16were really smart, you would just had us do it and send you the
- 2:02:20signal. You didn't even have to sing your crew. We could have just
- 2:02:25done it for you and send you the signal. I don't know you got
- 2:02:28all the money, but cutting away with thirty seconds to go on a team
- 2:02:30drive, that's crazy. Won't have another game, but come on you.
- 2:02:33Greg's the bad producer. Yeah, Big Kenny, the funny man himself.
- 2:02:38We hope you have a good week. We'll see you later in the week.
- 2:02:41Enjoy the game tonight if you watch Peace
